Two strikes and you're out.

By Brett M |

Spent two nights in the hotel with my family and tried, twice, to eat here. On both occassions we waited about 15min for a server at our table and got zero attention. Not so much as a glass of water. Left without being greeted Twice. Won't be back.

Uneven food options

By Travelingbear1000 |

This restaurant was hit or miss but limited food options. While I thought the greens and grains bowls was quite tasty, I found the turkey sandwich disappointing. Bread wasn’t toasted, Brie was cold. But grilled chicken was lovely.

Lisa Rocks!!

Great experience at the Rocks restaurant! Lisa is exceptional and delivers a world class experience. Going to the Rocks felt like I was at "cheers" where everyone knows your name. Will definitely be back.

SHRIMP over GRITS

By UU J |

This dish was great. I think everyone from our company experienced this dish this weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish the grits were perfect, and the Shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Then with the melted cheese over the top of the grits, and the shrimp placed on that bed, it was a great choice for dinner. I saw people drinking beer or wine both seemed to go perfectly with this dish. A massive Kudos to the chef.

Cam!!!!

By mark m |

Cam was the best bartender and friendly service. She is the most outgoing bartender I’ve ever met & she takes her time to interact with each and every one of her patrons at the bar. The food is great as well, but we will definitely be coming back for Cam !!!!!

Adequate food inside the Marriott hotel

By utfiero |

Food: I had the steak sandwich and substituted steamed broccoli for the French fries. The steak sandwich was barely “average.” The bread, a small, white hoagie type roll, was very low quality. Also the sliced steak had little flavor. Drinks: full bar. I had a Sweetwater 420 pale ale one night (glasses of beer are smaller than pint glasses) and another night a Scotch whisky neat. The beer was served cold, and the whisky was poured nicely. Service: Lisa is a middle-aged lady and was a friendly waitress. I observed some odd dynamics among the servers with a few of the younger girls seemingly avoiding work while others worked very hard. I could be mistaken, but that was my perception. Cleanliness of dining area: average Cleanliness of bathrooms: didn’t inspect

Had a lovely afternoon with a friend at this bar in Atlanta. Great view of huge container ships passing by. Had an order of fried green tomatoes, and then ordered a second. Super yummy. Flatbread was just ok so I would recommend a pass. Waitress was fun and knowledgeable about Atlanta and gave great recommendations for additional things to do. Great restaurant/bar down on River Street. Highly recommended.

After a full day of driving, it was nice to walk into Rocks and enjoy a good meal and cocktail without having to drive anywhere. We sat at the bar, Kadeem and Cam gave us great service! The burger was delicious, highly recommend.

Unprofessional Staff.

Food was good. Brit a waitress (not even ours) was rude and very unprofessional. Rest of staff was great. Sad that this was the last impression we had..

Ask for Jainba! She is anwesome and it shows she loves what she does! Attentive and goes over and beyond to give you the wow factor! Thank you Jainba! Ms Phyllis and Aliya thank you both for ensuring we enjoyed our stay. Even with us being a big party you guys all really elevated our stay! When we return we will definitely be back. In a time where customer service is sometime not a priority you guys solidified that it is very much still a priority there! The buffet bar is the bomb! Just thank you again!

Excellent hotel restaurant

Rarely does a hotel restaurant live up to the hype. Rocks, in the Marriott, does just that. Professional and personable service. Excellent food choices and portions. Great atmosphere.

Good food with GREAT service

In town for a training and stayed at the hotel on-site. After a very long day we hit up the hotel restaurant with low expectations. The food ended up being very good but our waitress, Lisa was the Best! She remembered all our names, made great food/drink recommendations and kept us all entertained for 2+ hours. To top it off, the next day she stopped into our training room and gave us chocolate candies! We will stop back for sure next year when back in town.

Great hotel restaurant. John Kenny (F&B Mgr) does a great job handling Braves crowds, banquet setups and hotel guests. Great se

By CobaltConnection |

As my review title states, John Kenny does a great job. Covid restrictions hit every hotel restaurant hard and Rocks at the Marriott Atlanta Northwest was no exception. Fast forward to today and this restaurant is gaining traction. Very good food. Great bartender (thanks Andrew) and super service from Angel and her team.

Matt and Sam were great! I would not be planning return trips with out them!!! From late night Sam helped get a drink and dinner at 10:55 and they close at 11:00 PM! They give us drink tips and very helpful! They make the hotel!

Awesome

Blown away by the service given at the bar from the blonde bartender Cam!!! She is phenomenal, her personality is on point.

Cam is the man! Except she’s a woman.

New York Strip is solid! One of the best “hotel” steaks I’ve had…if that’s even possible. Wings…meh… Cam the bartender is a total badass. She tries to hide her hard exterior with sass and sarcasm but she’s a sweetheart deep down. She makes a mean martini, ask her to make it dirty dirty and you’ll be where you need to be.

Nice hotel bar/dining room. Nothing outstanding.

We were staying next door at Springhill Suites Atlanta Northwest which has the bar closed on Sunday evening and doesn’t serve food in the evening. ( complimentary Breakfast buffet only). It was only a three minute walk to Rocks Restaurant & Bar at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria. The bar/dining area is on the small side but nice decor. We ordered two Martinis which after the first sip we knew had to send back…the bartender had used “sweet vermouth”. Yuck! The second attempt was better but shaken too long so a little weak. Bartender needs better training beyond beer, wine and highballs. Later found out that she was new. The martini the next night by a different bartender was much better. Dinner was fine. I had the chicken wings with BBQ glaze, which were very good and my spouse had the Baked chicken. Since the place was so close to our place, we went the second night of our stay. My spouse had the chicken wings with BBQ glaze and I had a chicken Caesar that was very good and plenty to eat.
