Delicious meal all around!

By Kevin B |

This was a really nice restaurant and we enjoyed our meal all around. We sat at the bar and our service was excellent the whole night (server was Lucky and they were great). We started our meal with some delicious and refreshing cocktails and a great bowl of mussels. We opted for the cacio e pepe in the parm wheel and it was delicious and (obviously) very rich. We paired that with some sautéed broccolini and it was a great meal overall. We ended our meal with some gelato as well as an espresso martini and sambuca. A great meal all around!

A Real Italian restaurant, fresh ingredients abound!

The hospitality of the Italian staff is one of the first things you enjoy about Roman Wolves. They had a fantastic happy hour with very great portions and low prices. Our bartender “Lucky” was fantastic and fun. We ended up eating twice at Roman Wolves and I can’t tell you how great all of the items on the menu are. It is so hard to choose. Our Dinner server “ Luca”was so attentive to our table of 6. He helped us to have a memorable evening. Helping us to order what was going to be a real Italian dinner. You can tell everything is made very fresh. Just like in Italy. The care they take in preparation is outstanding! You must go, it’s a must. Thank you Luca!

Nice vibes and good decor, easy to have a conversation. We waited for a long time for a table - would suggest making a reservation in advance.

New Fave Italian restaurant in Little Italy

By PtLomafoodie |

This my NEW FAVORITE Italian restaurant! Quiet location on Kettner Blvd in little Italy, San Diego, California. No parking lot, but there is street parking. The service , the modern Italian decor, the Italian food, the drinks…it’s all first rate. My husband & I each had a salad. He had the traditional Cesar salad; I had the Mediterranean salad. The salads were made with fresh ingredients and delicious. We were also given a free amuse bouche, consisting of a few olives and cubed white cheese while we waited for the entrees. My husband had Marguerite Pizza, made with the traditional thin cracker type crust in the style of Rome. I had the traditional Pasta Carbonara, which also originated in Rome. Both entrees were authentic and delicious. My husband and I each had drinks: a beer for him; a glass of Sauvignon Blanc wine for me. The restaurant gave us free shots of limoncello after dinner, too! All together, food & drinks & tax, the dinner was $99, just under $100!
