Fantastic late night food the service was fantastic staff was friendly and knowledgeable the interior is fantastic you have to see it definitely a vibe the fried oysters were fantastic

The two of us dined here last night and I was quite impressed. Everything from the quality of dishes, atmosphere, decor, and service. The restaurant is close walking distance to PCM. You enter into a well decorated bar and dining area. Then there is also an upstairs with cozy tables with a more intimate atmosphere. A nice mix of areas. We stayed quite a while and experienced some amazing dining. Everything from the beginning Soapberry cocktails to the final desert of Mango Sticky Rice which has Ube ice cream. All the tapas were served to perfection; warm, tasty and fresh. I’m not sure I have a favorite as all were good from the first dish to the last. Our server Jenny was knowledgeable, friendly and was on top of everything. Mark and Mike are great managers and were active and attentive in helping everyone get a table as it was Saturday evening and many people were here. Afterward we ventured out down to the bar and second dining area were we had a final nightcap cocktail at the bar and mingled with others. We will be back soon!

The only redeeming thing about this venue is it ambience , nothing more! The food at best is simple average Chinese food, service was at the beginning friendly but when your server starts vacuuming and stacking chairs around you at 9.30 when you booked at 8.30 the service level hits rock bottom this is unacceptable for a restaurant at this level. If you don’t like customers coming in at 8.30 don’t take the booking it is really that simple ! The desserts was served with canned whipped cream which could only be described as lazy cheffing , seriously how hard is it to whip cream??? You would expect ihop , Denny’s or Mc Donald’s to served canned whipped cream. I get it , being in the hospitality industry for over 30 years , it’s a tuff game and you may want to get home early but it gives no restaurant the excuse to push customers out or for lazy cheffing . It is a shame that a restaurant that has such a nice ambiance and concept could be so poor in service and average in food.

What a wonderful surprise! Happened upon this restaurant on our way to another dinner place and decided to take a chance. One of the best small plate meals we have ever had. Bartender was very friendly and diligent but the food and drinks were even better. Fried oysters were amazing as were the pow pow shrimp, green beans and spicy pork noodles. Done miss this wonderful gem in the heart of the old fourth ward.

Potentially the nicest staff I have ever dealt with. They were incredibly understanding of my gluten allergy, and wrote up an entire menu for me with ticks and crosses for what I could and couldn’t eat. The GF menu was somewhat limited, but their kindness made up for it.

Reservations is a must. You can eat outside or in. The pork belly with grits and the kimchi fried rice was some of our favorites.

My husband and I went with our daughter who lives in Atlanta. We had cacio e pepe with fried pork cutlet, roti canai, chengdu Brussels sprouts, and pow pow shrimp. Everything was delicious!!
Oh so good!
We went there, my daughter has been here before. We ordered the small plates, and drinks. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Will go again.
