Tender, Juicy Steak

By Stephen P |

Let me first say, your check will be high. Ruth's Chris is an amazing culinary experience, but you will indeed need to bring your credit card. The menu is al a carte. I am used to one low to moderate price that includes an entree and two sides, no so here. We ordered the smallest steak, Petite Filet, 8 oz. If you stop there, your bill is $41 or so. However, I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes $10 and a salad $9.50. If you do the math, my order was $60.50, not including beverage or dessert. You can certainly keep the bill down by merely ordering water, no side items, and no dessert. My wife ordered dipping sauces for her steak $7.00 and brussell sprouts cooked in butter and bacon $10. The side items are generally large enough to share, which is another way to potentially keep cost down. We "spared no expense," as we were in celebration mode. The waiter was knowledgeable and provided superb service: changed by dirt knife after the salad within 2 minutes, cleaned off all plates immediately, cleaned the table cloth prior to dessert, did not hand anything to us or ask us to hand anything to him (not used to this after eating at places such as Olive Garden), and was able to recommend a perfect wine based on our preferences/palate (gave us a few samples). The restaurant was dimply lit and carried an air of sophistication. My only regret was that I ordered the bread pudding instead of the chocolate sin cake. For most, you will not likely go here frequently due to the price. However, I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.

Steaks

Ruth's has the best staeks in town, we ate there with friends. The service is great. We even got some recipes for the shirmp on mash potatoes. Barbecue Shrimp. Very nice people.

Always amazing!

By Dave R |

My wife and I were staying at Embassy Suites for our anniversary primarily because of Ruth's Chris being the in-hotel restaurant. We were treated like royalty by Alicia and Scott! They were both so kind and Scott was so attentive to our visit. As always, the food was amazing! The bone-in filet... yum! We will be back next year!

Saturday lunch

By Derek J |

I ordered the chicken bruchetta but got two 4 inch thinly sliced chicken breast on a 6 inch saucer same size as my appetizer and was told the plate is 500 degrees so be careful not to touch it. Why would you serve someone on such a hot plate? Why was my entree on a plate the same size as my appetizer? And this meal came with no sides. Horrible experience

Big shrimp

By LostInTime |

I stayed in the hotel right by the restaurant. I ordered a shrimp cocktail to go for my lunch. The shrimp are huge and tasted great. Getting to go was very easy.

Michael was a true gem!

By Patrice S |

I was absolutely blown away by my dinner last night. It is very rare nowadays that I have a night out that feels like an experience and Michael provided that for myself and my friends. He was extremely patient with us because we are usually indecisive and he made us feel like we had been his friends for years. It was just a cherry on top of him being one of the most put together and attractive servers that I’ve ever had. It looks like I just found a new place to hang out.

Great option if you're staying at the hotel

By Kirsty T |

We were staying at the Embassy Suites for the weekend and used this restaurant as room service. The food was really good and reasonably priced (for a hotel). They were flexible with the order, which was really helpful as we had a child as part of our party who was feeling fussy about food that day. I ordered a salad with some fries, thinking that the salad wouldn't fill me up - but I was wrong! It was huge and really tasty. I'd recommend this as a reliable place to get good food if you're staying in the hotel.

Not pleased

By Misty D |

My husband and I have eaten at numerous Ruth Chris' throughout the years and this is the first time ever we had terrible service. Our server was not attentive at all. Never should a customer have to ask for a refill especially for this type of finer dining.. The food was ok, not worth the price. It was a sad disappointing dining experience. We most definitely will not be going back to this location and not sure if we will visit anymore Ruth's Chris. The price is not worth it.

Excellent food!

By Eftychia |

We visited this restaurant and enjoyed the food! We ordered the large seafood platter however for 2 persons it is too big! The food though was delicious. Our main course was also very tasty and the service very kind and quick. Definitely recommended.

Christian was our waiter

By Sandra G |

Christian was our amazing waiter. He was very professional and friendly. Just a wonderful customer service guy. The food was outstanding.

Great Restaurant

By Marty D |

I ate three meals here while staying at the Embassy Suites. The scallops were amazing and I had them twice. The crispy fries were great. Really good wine selection. Service was great. John was a standout in regard to being helpful and attentive. No one in our group had a meal that they were disappointed in. This was a great plus to staying at the hotel.

Best Lemon Drop Martini & Great Steaks & Chicken

By Dr. Ivy |

Living in Buckhead gives you a lot of options for dinner, but Ruth's Chris became one of my favorites because of the service. Mike was the best bartender and Scott was the best server (although he is no longer there). I love their steaks and the stuffed chicken breast, but Scott would always manage to get me to try something new on the menu with each visit. I still visit often because all of the staff have been pleasurable and the food is so simple, but good. It's inside of the Embassy Suites, so to use the restroom you have to leave the restaurant in use the restroom in the hotel lobby, which is kind of annoying, but not that far of a walk. You also don't have to worry about parking because you can valet or even take the Marta to the Buckhead station if you don't want to drive.

Very disappointed!

By kaminton |

We went here Sunday night 2/12 to celebrate Valentine's Day. The food was good, but the atmosphere was horrible. The restaurant was so hot; my husband was sweating before the steak came out. We sat at an awkward booth/bench with other couples even though he made reservations ahead of time. It was difficult to have a conversation because of the other tables were so close to us. The restaurant has a dress code, but people were there in shorts and t-shirts. Guess we were just looking for better aesthetics for our Valentine's Day celebration. The heat of the restaurant made us uncomfortable and to where we didn't want to eat. The steaks were delicious, but we couldn't even enjoy our meal. We packed up the food mid meal and left.

Great food

By mreesebryan |

You can't beat the steaks here but for an upscale expensive restaurant I still have a hard time with it being situated in hotel lobby. Not exactly a romantic spot. Service was great. The fixed price menu is the only affordable route to go. Appetizer, entree, and dessert. It was so much I even took the dessert home. As good as it was, outback and Longhorn has a great filet at great price.

Pleasant but in Embassy Suites Remodel...

By Barbara G |

Ruth Chris is very consistent in fine food quality, but at the moment this location is in the Embassy Suites and they are remodeling...not a pleasant environment!

Hit and Miss

By Laurie A |

The stuffed chicken breast was amazing. The a la cart broccoli at 9$ was not since it was cold. Coffee was cold though the manager replaced it. The shrimp pasta was delicious but I found a hair in it so not pleased about that. When they brought my dinner the second night, he took everything off the tray - try putting all those dishes outside your door at night. The result was that while I put them out at 8PM Wed. night, they were still there when I checked out early Friday morning.

Nice place to ate.

By Robert O |

This is a nice upscale restaurant. A little pricey but you get a lot out of it. Its located in the Embassy Suites hotel. But has its own entrance. Friendly staff . Our waitress was a little slow. But I think she was trying to impress someone who looked like they had more money. And we didn't really dress up . We were staying at the intercontinental which is a very nice hotel. I think better than Embassy Suites. But the food was so good. One person in group bought a pork chop. That when they brought it out ,it had to weigh 3lbs. I got the garlic chicken and it taste very good. Couldn't eat it all took back to hotel. But nice place to eat. It was large enough place we did have to wait to be seated. But it's a good stop in Buckhead in Atlanta for food.

Akilah at the PeachTree Road NE location!! IS A STAR!!

By BlackCollectors G |

This was our first visit to Ruth's Chris..we'd heard about it but never actually made it a point of visiting; until the FAMU vs HU game. Several of the FAMU guest invited us to join them for dinner after the game. It was absolutely PACKED!! The wait was at least an hour (just to get our food) BUT there was this one young lady (WHO WAS NOT OUR WAITRESS) who did the most responsible thing a server should do and that is follow-up on a customer's request (even if it's not your table). Ms. Akilah was asked by one of our members if she could check up on our orders since it had been more than an hour and he could see our waiter was extremely busy with other tables. Not only did Akilah follow-up on the request, but she also circled back around when our food came out to make sure everything was okay. There was a female GM working hard on the floor as well. Everyone was working so to see her come with so much class and care was simply refreshing (after such a long wait). It is service like this that will bring us to considering revisiting on our next trip to ATL or DC. Thank you Akilah-- you are a star server/waitress. You proved your care for the customer is priority (even during a busy time). -Black Collectors Gallery Member 003

Great Experience Since My Last Visit

By Deundra D |

The food was great as usual I ordered the stuffed chicken with Mac and the sweet potato casserole. I really appreciated the service I received from Jona smith. Great hospitality.

Top tier service

By Shavon R |

I came for a friend’s birthday this past Friday and we had a great time. Our waiter Conrad has by far the best customer service skills I’ve ever experienced, anywhere. The hostess and the manager were also great! The food was good but the highlight of the night was the top tier service. Definitely will be coming back!

Lunch

By DeepCDiver98 |

Since we were staying at the host hotel we went down stairs for a quick lunch. We did have to ask for the lunch menu vs the dinner menu (it was still during the lunch hours). Our server was very pleasant and helpful but service initially was slow. We started with the Calamari and ordered a burger. The Calamari was very good not overly salty or gummy with a very nice sweet chili sauce. The burger was on point, one of the best I ever had.

Not Impressed

By Marguerite1300 |

Dined with family before a concert at the nearby State Farm Arena. This is a steakhouse and we had steak. Of the three ordered, only one was prepared as requested. I didn’t return mine because it was tender, but my daughter’s was over cooked and had to be returned. The waiter was great, the food was tasty, but the steaks at a steak house should be done as requested. I will not return to this one.

Ruth’s Chris dining experience

By Stephanie C |

Excellent service by Rod (Roderick) waiter. Rod provided excellent customer service. He was very friendly and had a great sense of humor.

Work trip

By Sara Lyn |

I was ay a work function for a few days and we had a wonderful experience with the Ruth Chris staff, especially Hunter! Several good food options, but the servers and staff made it a great experience.

Excellent Family Dinner

By Michelle H |

Ruth’s Chris never disappoints. The restaurant was clean. The food was delicious and our steaks were perfectly cooked the way we ordered them. Jasmine was very friendly and respectful. We look forward to dining there again!

Ok but not up to Ruth's Chris standards

By denise050733 |

Great service. Waiter could not have been better. Food was good maybe not quite as good as most Ruth's Chris. The environment was very much on the "slouchy" side. I think the need to tighten up the dress code a bit. One person came in from the gym in workout clothes.

Absolutely delicious

By MAIRIN S |

The petite fillet was absolutely delicious for the price the staff were very nice the service was great 10/10 would definitely come again

Conveniently in Embassy Suites Hotel

By bigmac1550 |

Typical Ruth Chris’. Exceptional service and food. Had the fixed price menu - 4 courses for less than $50. Attentive and helpful wait staff. The restaurant itself is a tad worn looking but the food and service excels.

Thank you Victoria!

By Shay G |

Tonight was my first time dining at R.C. Victoria made the experience top notch! From her gorgeous smile to her amazing attitude. She made great suggestions and made my husband and I feel like the only table she had. The food was nothing short of incredible. I will definitely ask for her the next time we come back and you should too!!

Beware of the burger

By ABD119 |

I love Ruth’s Chris but this one was disappointing. The burger was completely charred and the bun tasted is if baked during the Obama years. Excellent Caesar though and a pleasant service

Staff made this an over the top experience

By ReeveC |

My wife and her business partner were in four nights in a row, and had Frank as a waiter every night. He made this a superb experience. Professional, good sense of humor, knowledgable on menu items, and was the perfect waiter after 4 very long days on their feet!

company event

By Nedinia M |

my employer had a company function there and the service and food was amazing and the service was exceptional

Dinner was amazing .

By Samuel demers |

I had a great experience dining in at Ruth Chris. I was visiting from New Hampshire with some friends. And we decided to stop by to give it a try. First our server Jona had great customer service. She was very patient and friendly. The food was Devine even though it came in small portions . I would revisit again next time I come to Atlanta

Consistently great food and service.

By Tawana H |

Steaks are top quality and perfectly cooked. Sides are alacart and large enough to share. So worth the money and we didn't even have to leave our hotel.

Disappointed.

By Shay S |

Being that I also work at a fine dining steakhouse and ALWAYS eat fine dining. This was the worst food I’ve ever had and service was mediocre. It was also graduation weekend so I DEFINITELY understood but when were we’re approached by the servers, at the bar, it was very bland. I’ve had better service at the Starbucks drive thru. I am in the Florida area so I guess I shouldn’t have ordered seafood from there thinking it would be something as amazing as the seafood here. The crab cake was a 5/10. The lobster bisque had not actual taste but butter and cream. Not even a seafood note. I ordered an raspberry rosemary (I think, I asked for it without the herb) that tasted HORRIBLE but I forced my family to eat at this “nice” place because I wanted to be on the other side of the table. So I didn’t say a word. A cosmo has vodka, lime , simple and cranberry. This cocktail had NO LIME , which was a shame because it would have been PERFECT with the raspberry. I waited for the entree hoping for something better that what we’ve already had. The steak WAS cooked perfectly. The mash potatoes tasted like they were from a box or maybe a mix of both, PERSONALLY, and my brussel sprouts were damn near burnt. And I do enjoy a like char on any veggies BUT this was to the point it was to hard to truest eat that part of the brussel sprout leaving me with very few to enjoy. I would have mentioned it but the one time I did grab a servers attention, half easy through my steak. I asked for a dessert togo and went back to the hotel. This was our first time here, my family first vacation since covid, a new job, first time to Atlanta for some of us in the family and I also finish all my prerequisites for my program. So there was also of celebrating and moments to enjoy at the moment and our ONE nice dinner. Wasn’t much of a NICE dinner. The wine was good. The kids barely ate their dry burgers. And my husband’s was not cook to his likely but again, he didn’t want to come here in the first place, he just remained quiet. (He’s not much of a complainer) So he ate half and went home to order a pizza. Again, I work on the other side for my second job, once my only job. I’ve been in the business for 9 years. I understand but I literally had high hopes, looking to be impressed and also for a wonderful experience food and cocktail wise. But I’ll listen next time and avoid wasting $300.

Mother’s Day Lunch

By Caroline V |

The lobster tails and harvest salad were wonderful. We took my mom here for Mother’s Day and our Waiter, Tristan provided impeccable service. He made the lunch exceptional. We had such a wonderful time. Tristan went out of his way to take care of us. Thank you!!

should have researched better

By James H |

The one is in a hotel. that's a downer for us, it was not a super high end hotel. So the atmosphere was ruined a bit by the hustle of a hotel lobby. The service was excellent as expected. The food was great. But will find a stand alone one next time.

Great burgers

By brendanswife2016 |

We enjoyed dinibg here twice while on vacay. Both th d's the good was great, service friendly and worth the price.

Great dinner experience!

By Brady K |

I had the most pleasant of experiences. My server kiah was absolutely outstanding. She was extremely attentive and always there when we needed her. I will definitely be coming back explicitly bc of kiah and her great service

Love Ruth's chris!!

Their staff is absolutely amazing and the steaks just melt in your mouth. They've done everything right. The chef in the back is outstanding. Keep it up chef James!!

food and service was great

By barbara m |

I was there for a business dinner, and our server, Damion (I think), was awesome. he was very attentive and very professional. the food was the best that I have had at any Ruth Chris. Very enjoyable evening. will definitely go back.

good food - great service

By LAtravelover1 |

nice and friendly - and really good food to boot. i did some takeout which was easy to get. the kitchen didn't pack the food correctly but luckily the bartender checked it before giving to me and went back for my salad - thanks!

Just had take out

By drgalenos |

Excellent Cobb salad with delicious blue cheese dressing. The lettuce, tomatoes and other ingredients were fresh. Grilled chicken on top which was juicy and delicious. Actually had it twice!

Great Service!!

Just wanted to give a great review on our Waiter Tristan. He was so pleasant, knowledgeable and very friendly. When you attend Ruth Chris, please ask for Tristan. He will make your experience like no other!!

Staying at the Embassy Suites

By Rick+Jan |

Located inside the Embassy Suites Hotel in Buckhead. Weather was terrible so we decided to eat at Ruth Chris. Not usually a big fan of this chain but had a great experience on this trip. Our waiter “Conrad” was excellent with a great personality. Had a nice bottle of David Byrum Pinot Noir, split a 12 ounce filet, had scalloped potatoes, and a great corn with jalapeño Peppers. Everything was really good. Usually I would give it a 4 but Conrad made it a 5.

Service and good were fantastic

By Scott H |

Our server was incredible. The kids loved her and the food was outstanding. Great place to eat and run while visiting downtown Atl.

Expensive Disappointment!

By ShamCole |

We made reservations for this location for our 5th wedding anniversary. First let me say that Tashawna was an amazing server! The ambiance was nice. This location is inside the Embassy Hotel, so it's small. My order: Ribeye medium well with a lettuce wedge. My steak came out unseasoned and medium Steak 5/10 undercooked and not a great cut Wedge 10/10 Wife's order: cowboy ribeye medium, loaded baked potato with lettuce wedge. Her steak was more medium rare but perfectly seasoned. Steak 7/10 for being undercooked and not a great cut of steak for over $80 Loaded baked potato 10/10 Wedge 10/10 We both ordered the hibiscus lemon drop 10/10 I added a star for service and complimentary dessert. Total $247.07 for a meal not better than LH.

FABULOUS MEAL

By NFCorbin |

Our entire experience with this establishment was nothing short of superior! Our server, Linden was so attentive and provided excellent service!

Jay is goated

By christian A |

Jay with valet is the best. His customer service and ability to connect with customers is above and beyond. I commend him and his undeniable work ethic. He is the definition of the man.

As good as you expect from Ruth's Chris

By Foody8 |

The menue is extensive, the food quality great and cooked to perfection. Service efficient and friendly. Avoid sitting next to a passway what is troublesome.

Delicious

By Laura R |

All steaks were cooked perfectly. Sides were amazing. No one goes to Ruth Chris to save money so it was expensive but work it! We even received two free shrimp apps. The hotel this R. Is in is under construction so don’t stay there! But the valet is easy and if you get your Tex validated it’s only $3 to park.

Thanksgiving Dinner Went Well

By GPBurdell67 |

We had never been to this branch of the well-known steakhouse chain, but they had an attractive deal for Thanksgiving, so we decided to try it. We were seated in a relatively small room, as it appears that the restaurant is broken up into several spaces. The decor was OK and the noise level relatively quiet. The food was quite good. The best dishes were the seafood gumbo and the arugula salad. The creamed spinach didn't wow me but the turkey, dressing and sweet potato casserole were fine. The pumpkin cheesecake dessert was small but very tasty. Prices were reasonable and we had enough leftovers for several meals the next two days.

Disappointed

By Selenarichter |

I had heard of Ruth’s and expected a certain level of service and quality. I was so disappointed when we ordered the seafood tower but was told they were out of it along with a list of other items including fries …I mean fries ?! I don’t mind paying the price but please deliver the product.

Just OK

By Travis C |

This place was just ok. I wouldn’t go back. When we get there, the receptionist wouldn’t acknowledge us until she checked text messages. Kinda rude but I’m thinking if the food is good, I don’t care. The table ordered 2 filet Mignons and 1 ribeye. I asked for my ribeye medium well and it was much more think than I wanted but I stuck through it. The steak had no seasoning. The macaroni had mild green chili so beware of that. My wife and daughter said the salads were good. Also the bread was piping hot, which I enjoyed.

Absolutely superb steak

By aussierater2 |

Don’t be put off by the deal exterior. This restaurant is in a hotel so you can’t really see it from the road To be honest the decor in the restaurant is not the best either but who cares when the food is so good. I had the ribeye with bone in. Absolutely superb. The only negative is that they don’t have a peppercorn sauce on the menu. Recommended

AtlantaMart

The most amazing Steaks in the Western Hemisphere seared and cooked to perfection. Great and fresh vegetables for sides and the best Dessert with homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and Carmel Cheese Cake YUMMY!!!

Anniversary Date

By Teresa E |

On wedding anniversary weekend, we have in the past spent in Atlanta, so as we drove over we were talking and discussing the different restaurants in Atlanta. All the different Steak houses. But, as we checked in on Friday we noticed Ruth'sChris! What better Steak house ... My husband chose the Ribeye and I chose the Filet ! Both chose the Mashed potatoes, the House Salads. They were absolutely The Best we have ever Eaten!!! I couldn't even eat all of mine. Jessica, our server was so helpful, so attentive!!!! If you want The Best Steak For Your Money Ruth's Chris is The Place !!!!!

Nice Meal

By Dee Ann A |

Nice meal while staying at Embassy Suites. Staff were pleasant and accomodating. We had the filet and the salmon - both were excellent.

Avery good steak house

By Michael F |

We had a very good steak dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. This is one of the restaurants part of a chain and I found the quality to be uniformly good. The location is not the best and the decor was stark. But the food was very good

3.5 stars

By Tamara M |

My husband and I were staying at the Embassy Suites while waiting to move into our new home nearby. We needed a quick place to eat lunch and since this is the only restaurant in the hotel, we decided to have lunch there. Our server was nice, but service was slow. I had the tuna salad and it was ok, my husband had a burger and he loved it. Overall, I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars.

Not too impressed

By La Shanda R |

The customer service was great but me and my husband's food was not done. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries because we were only wanting lunch and it was lunch time. Both of our burgers were completely raw inside and we requested well done. We had originally been seated in the dining room area but because we wanted burgers and fries we had to go sit at the bar with our 12 year old daughter. You are not allowed to order burgers and fries and sit in the dining area. We asked them why is it on the menu if you can't order it but at the bar and then we explained we had our 12 year old daughter with us and they said it's fine she can sit in the bar area. Our daughter's burger was done but we will not eat here again.

Wonderful birthday dinner

By Benton T |

We always get the pork chops and apples. It's delicious. Our server was Conrad, he's very attentive and thorough.

Service not worthy of the Ruth Chris name

By beye2020 |

The service here was worse than any Ruth Chris that I have been in...So unlike them...maybe it was the waiter, but it was not good....drink glasses were always near empty and food was not as usual ...but ...was still good...had a $250 bill and waiter was unhappy with a $55 tip...he wasn't worth a $20 tip....ancillary service was not there either...had to wait on the waiter for everything...just different...

Always Excellent!!

By Deborah W |

We have been to Ruth Chris' Steak House in several states and are never disappointed. The steaks are always prepared exactly as ordered, and the service is excellent. The stuffed chicken was moist and tender. Any dish is always a good choice.

Delicious!

By Joan A |

We chose to eat here because it’s connected to the Embassy Suites. Convenient and top notch. The food was delicious, the waitress was wonderful and attentive, noise level good and nice atmosphere. It was a perfect evening.

Great for Lunch!

By JoeTrav |

Enjoyed lunch at Ruth's Chris Steak House five days in a row. This is high quality food at affordable lunch prices and white tablecloth ambience. It was never crowded. You're sure to get a table. Lunch salads are a good choice, of significant size and fresh. My personal favorite is the grilled fresh ahi tuna salad (love the dressing - don't ask for it on the side). Not too fond of the "black and blue" steak salad (not enough variety for my taste). The cobb salad is terrific, but varies in preparation from day to day. If you order anything that comes with fries, expect a lot of fries! Service was snappy, and one can have lunch easily within their lunch hour. This restaurant is located inside the Embassy Suites Hotel. If you are staying there, order room service. It's coming from Ruth's Chris Steak House.

Good service in outdated venue

By Roadster2015 |

We gathered with business partners for a drink and as it was my first time there I was surprised with the venue. However service was good and friendly, our group of people enjoyed their time. They did not manage to get my drink right, but still was a good time.

Best Chilean Sea Bass ever!

By claymade_traveler |

The chilean sea bass is the best I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked! A huge meaty chunk of white beautiful fish. There was no fishiness and the texture was out of this world. We will be back for this fish again!

Food vile and made us sick!!

By Resort733747 |

Food vile and made us sick!! $690 for 5 and not worth 5$ and they do not care!!! So sickening and we are all sick from food!!!

Father's Day

By 709awesome |

I took my husband Melvin to Ruth Chris for an evening of dining and dancing for his Father's Day present. Our experience was definitely a 5 star gala. Our waiter was awesome . I remember him from the Lenox location. Our food was made to perfection. I always order the BBQ shrimp with mash potatoes instead of grits. Let's just say I made a happy plate. It was divine. II also ask for thicker sauce. The Chef did his thing. Two thumbs up. After that meal we had to go dancing. I almost fell asleep on the way. Thank you Ruth. Chris and management for. a pleasant experience.

Good food but as always not afraid to charge!

By Karl A |

I have always liked this restaurant anywhere in the country. The food is typically quite good but unfortunately like many others quite over priced. Two of us had a couple of drinks possibly 3 at the bar with 2 small appetizers and it was over $100, simply too much for what you get. A couple next to us had steak and 2-3 drinks and spent close to $200. I don't mind paying for a good meal but come on already. There happy hour slider trio was pretty darn good!!

Excellent

By tammy s |

If you've ever eaten at a Ruth's Chris, you'll know that the creamed spinach is the absolute best. I love the consistency and quality of the food and service at any location. Must try.

Just ok

By Meander33009653721 |

Food was just ok, not great & service was weak at best. I have had MUCH better service at barbecue or crab joints elsewhere. I would expect a better experience at a highly regarded nationwide-restaurant chain.

Best Lamb ever!

By Lisa60653 |

Olson was an amazing waiter, he made sure we all had a great time. From my medium rare Lamb to the Medium Tomahawk Ribeye, the food was awesome. Even the sizzling Crab Cakes were amazing. We had a table for 8 and they made sure we were all taken care of.

Perfect Anniversary Dinner

By Carol H |

First time here and they knocked it out of the park! Danielle was our server and she was so personable, knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive during our 22 wedding anniversary dinner. She really made our dinner celebration even more special. The food was incredible and they even added some complimentary special touches because it was our anniversary. Kudos to Ruth's Chris and Danielle. We loved our experience.

Terrific food and service in a slightly faded dining room

By Peter Black |

I had the cowboy ribeye and my wife had the ribeye. Both were excellent, though the bone-in steak was undoubtedly the best. Sides were really good, though a lot of butter was harmed in their making. The wine list was reasonably priced for a high-end restaurant, and we were helped to choose a very nice red. The only negative is the decor, which has something of the Overlook Hotel from the Shining about it. No Jack Nicholson, though. Overall, though, a great meal and we enjoyed it.

Absolutely Fabulous

By Brianna C |

Kevin and Shakera are legitimately AMAZING!!! The food, which was spectacular, paled in comparison to the service provided by Kevin and Shakera. They anticipated our needs before we ever made them known, adhered to my daughter's dairy allergy without issue or complication and found a way to celebrate her special day all at the same time. Absolutely fabulous experience and it is all owed to these two phenomenal servers. Thank you forever more for making my daughter's birthday extra special and for all the effort you all put in to making sure we are satisfied. I would come back everyday, if possible.

Great Lunch in Buckhead

By Jon J |

Conrad was a great server. We stopped here for an early lunch. They were open at 11:30 which was great. Had a wonderful steak and a wonderful bottle of wine. Only downside is I wish the had baked potatoes at lunchtime.

Does Not Make the Grade

By Peter A |

My wife and I are frequent Ruth Chris diners in Richmond which should be the model franchise. But the one in downtown Atlanta didn’t meet expectations. The location is great especially for tourists being next to the Georgia Aquarium. The place is open/ airy. Sat at the bar. BTW we were there at 4:15 in afternoon. Ordered $100 bottle champagne and starters of Osso bucco ravioli and blue cheese wedge salad. Dishes prepared to Ruth Chris standards. Then we ordered another bottle of champagne. Never came. Pork loin after very long wait was a shriveled pork chop. The potatos au gratin were ok. We sent the pork back. Asked for our check and left. Several patrons around us were also complaining about food/service. Need better management/ oversight.

We dined at Ruth’s Chris for our 34th anniversary. It was a lovely experience. Our server Jeanine was gracious and helped make it a nice celebration!

Amazing service and excellent food

By andypsu |

Bartenders are always amazing. Scottie and Paul are some of the best in the business. The stuffed chicken is amazing if you don't want steak.

Waste of Money

By bamagirl2010 |

Wanted to grab a bite after a concert when we returned to our hotel. The manager said they closed in 10 minutes and we were happy to leave (as we've all worked in the restaurant business before and didn't want to be THAT person) but he insisted we go in as long as we ordered quickly. We were happy to just order at the bar and take the food back to our room. Not only was the wait staff obviously not happy to see us, the ignored us until we eventually asked for someone to come take our order - which was only sweet potato casserole, lobster mac n' cheese and a salad. By the time we finally got back to the room with our food 30 minutes later, we found that not only was the order incorrect, the food was ice cold. We weren't going to eat cold food whether the order was correct or not - but we were too tired to go back down and deal with the standoffish waitstaff. Extremely disappointed that we wasted so much money - especially considering it was a birthday trip for my dad and he wanted to treat himself at a nice restaurant.

A nice post-valentine's dinner

By Patrick H. |

e had a really nice evening! The steakhouse salad was a great start. The sweet potato fritters were a nice side paired with the filet which was awesome! The chocolate expresso cake was so rich and the salted caramel cheesecake was also very good! Shevy was our waitress and she made it a pleasant evening for us. The ambience was nice and subdued, fancy but not stuffy, and just energetic enough not to make you feel self conscious.

Dumpy Hotel Banquet Room

By nmmi87 |

We often visit Ruth Chris Restaurants across the US and are never disappointed with amazing food and great ambience. We booked a special dinner with our son who met us from Italy and we flew in from Arizona to celebrate and early Thanksgiving Dinner in Buckhead. We booked it through open table and added special instructions for a special table. When we showed up they took us to dirty table in a dark old run down hotel banquet room. The restaurant was not busy and seemed not well organized or well run. The hostess asked us to wait, so they could reset the table. While we waited we discussed how depressing and dirty the restaurant was. We waited for a long time for them to fix the table which surprised us since they weren't busy and it appeared they had plenty of staff working. While we waited they sat a guys in a muscle shirt and flip flops which violates their own stated dress code in the lobby. We decided to leave. This location reflects poorly on the brand and should be closed, as it is really a dirty hotel restaurant and not a RUTH CHRIS STEAK HOUSE. I did contact Ruth Chris Corp, as I was upset and expected to be contacted as I left my phone number and email, but this is all I got....... Thank you for reaching out and giving us the opportunity to grow. I'm sorry that you were dissatisfied with your recent experience at our Buckhead location. The last thing we want is for our guests to leave feeling disappointed! I have logged your feedback as an official corporate complaint and have shared your comments with our upper management team as well as with the owners and operators for this franchise location so that they are aware of the situation. They would like to reach out to you personally to speak with you about your experience. The above team does the best they can to get back to all of their guests in a timely manner and you can expect to hear from someone within the next 2-3 business days. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. Kristin Dobrow ********That was on November 23rd, over ten days ago and no one has called or e-mailed to follow up as stated in the e-mail. Skip this Ruth Chris location. We ended up finding a restaurant called Bones down the street that made room for us and it was amazing!

Team dinner

Great meal was had by all, we had a table of 6 people with no complaints. The food was excellent, the wine was well paired and the service was great as well.

Stay away!

By edouard m |

My wife was OK with her ribeye but I must admit that my t-bone was not the kind of meat you would expect at that price point. No taste, not rightly cooked and over salted. Add uncooked potato to your experience and this makes us not want to come back ever. Attendant was great though.

Anniversary Dinner

By Beth S |

Frank was our FABULOUS waiter! Lamb chops and cowboy ribeye were excellent! He even brought me a half order of onion rings when I asked! My husband's chopped salad looked like a picture! Management was very present and made sure all diners were happy! My ONLY suggestion would be in the dessert category! I think the kitchen could EASILY put the two little desserts on a plate and write Happy Anniversary in chocolate. Except for Frank the dessert would have been an afterthought. Thankfully that is an easy mistake to correct! Otherwise I would give a 5 rating.

Underwhelmed

By Lee |

5 days ago we visited to celebrate a birthday. It started out well. Courtney did a great job overall with suggestions for food and bar knowledge . However our steaks were overcooked. We had steaks remade. No visit from mgmt even though we had a birthday And a food issue. Very disappointing. Asked for mgr was told he was doing paperwork. What paperwork is more important than visiting your guests? Only 5 tables the entire 2+ hours we were there, never saw mgr visit anyone. Baked potato had big rotten piece on the end. We came here due to seeing restaurant on Atlanta eats the past weekend. However that was the Alpharetta location, we left thinking maybe we should have went there. Unfortunately $250 is too much to spend to be underwhelmed. Birthday cheesecake was nice.

Great Steak House!

By KurtLS |

I took a business group and we all enjoyed a very good meal. I thought the staff was a little overwhelmed and it took 3 hours to get us all fed. I think that is a little long for a group of 16 people. The food was good and I had no complaints.

Restaurant experience

By Jennifer J |

I was visiting from out of town and decided to have dinner at Ruth Chris in buckhead. The host Jona was very sweet and bubbly, loved her personality. My server Courtney was super helpful with helping me decide on which side I should try and etc. The food was great and I enjoyed the conversations had while dinning in. I would highly recommend this restaurant, thank you.

Unacceptable experience

By Mike C |

I'm not hard to please when it comes to restaurants and I never write reviews. But, tonight's experience requires me to change that. I'll try and make this brief. Me and a group of friends went for a birthday dinner. It took forever to place our drink orders. Some of our drinks did not arrive until an hour after we ordered them and that was after we reminded our waitress that they never showed up. The food was good, but some of the sides were cold. The worst part was when we tried to pay. It took our waitress 20 minutes to bring the checks. When we got them they were all completely wrong. She went to fix them and was gone for another 20 minutes. At that point, the manager came over and did not apologize, but said that it was taking a long time because we had "sent her back". Like it was our fault. What choice did we have? Then he and the waitress stood in the corner for a good 30 minutes trying to correct the mistakes. Then, when we got tired of waiting and went to them to ask when we might be able to pay and leave, the manager explained they just needed to add the mandatory gratuity. Excuse me! At this point, what he should have said was, "We're terribly sorry for all the problems. Your meal is comped and we hope you'll give us another chance in the future." But, no we never really even got an apology. Never ever ever ever again! Avoid this place like the plague!

Food was cooked RIGHT!!!

By Priscilla H |

After attending The Tea Around Town, my sister and I went to eat at Ruth Chris in Buckhead. The valet staff for the Embassy Suites was super busy, but they did an excellent job at getting cars in and out, and the food in the restaurant was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Conrad was our server and although there was a limited menu for lunch, we were able to get a few items from the dinner menu. Overall, it was a nice outing with enjoyable food!! It’s always good when you get what you pay for especially with the cost of food these days!!

Not Good, expensive

By Becky Franco |

The staff was very nice and friendly, the food was very average, the potatoes, very ugly onion rings! The meat was good but we really ordered other dishes and they were very average

A Terrible Experience

By Patti M |

My husband & I have visited several of your Resturant's around the United States & by far, the best is in New Orleans, LA & the worse is in Buckhead (Atlanta, GA.). On Tuesday October 10, 2017, our host that brought us to our table mumbled every word he spoke & took about 10 miles minutes to get us to our table (no one in line & maybe 10 guest in the Resturant). He did not make us feel welcomed!! Then, our server Jessica, who took our order wasn't much better! We ordered a bottle of wine $54, our steaks were far from perfect. We ordered steak & Lobster (Lobster was good), but our steaks were served as RARE & medium RARE. My husband ask for medium & I ask for medium WELL. The beet salad was great but the mashed potatoes were instant. We've never known of your Resturant's with this bad of service & quality of food. We too, typically don't spend this much money for dinner without a celebration. I was dressed in a skirt & top & my husband wore his dress slacks with a dress shirt (but no tie), which he thought he may need to go upstairs at our room at the Embassy Suites, but soon realized that wasn't an issue. For an upscale restaurant, (with a sign out front that states, dress code is strictly enforced), it's a shame that they are allowing casual dress attire by most of their patrons. But, for those people who don't care about being presentable, should choose other restaurants. If we ever encounter a problem with our food or service, we typically make sure that we complain after we've paid for our dinner! This time, the manager gave us an apple tart in lieu of our problems. Our dinner already included our desert but he also said, just order any desert on the menu. The apple tart was the only thing that is included in that special. I had the cheesecake with berries & my husband had the Creme Brûlée. Neither was great, but okay. The apple tart was the same! Needless to say, we were insulted by the managers cheap jester of a discount, with an inexpensive desert. We probably wouldn't have taken a discount but the offer was never made & this simply added more frustration to a terrible dining experience! Never in a million years would I (we) would have thought that we'd ever have negative comments against Ruth's Chris because this is one of our 1st choices when we're in the city. Perhaps, management could use a little help in hiring new staff. A manager represents a particular restaurant but their staff represents that manager! And his team is failing! We will never visit this location again & have doubts about any of your other locations.

Great way to to start the evening

Whenever I stay at the Embassy Suites, I make sure to stop here for the Ahi Tuna appetizer. The atmosphere is great, and as always end up having a delightful conversation with the staff and other guests.

Escellent service and food

By Joyce S |

I wasn't particularly hungry, having surgery the next day. I ordered crab cakes and a soup, which were perfect. I've had crab cakes all over the country, and I believe these were the best I've eaten. My husband had a large steak and pronounced it excellent.

Outstanding Service

Consistently great steak and salmon. The sides are huge and good for sharing. The service is impeccable.

Quiet and easy for conversation. Service very good and the food was excellent. It is one of the better steak houses to go to, I like the one in ?sandy Springs best

Time for an upgrade

By Sandy D |

Stopped by for a mid-afternoon, graduation lunch. The food was good, but not great. The salads were delicious but the burgers were just “ok.” The chairs were tattered and the rug was old and filthy. Plus, the service was soooo sloooow.

The "Finest" Ruth's Chris in the World!

By JohnnyinGeorgiaUSA |

From Tokyo to Singapore to New Orleans, this Ruth's Chris Steak House located in the Embassy Suites Hotel in Buckhead is the "hands down" the finest Ruth's Chris from service, to the quality of the food, to the presentation of the food, to the cleanliness of the restaurant, to the employees, especially those listed below who have over and over welcomed me and my family/friends with an open heart and great service. It is a reflection of the management of this location. I've witnessed, on rare occasions, when customer's were unhappy with either their food, drinks, or atmosphere, the employees handled it with "professionalism", "class" and "concern", something that I've never witnessed in many years of traveling. A "special" thank you the bartenders and bar "backers" for years of great service, food, and even better conversations. Paul, Scott, Hunter, Kay, Taylor, Adam and Charlie have provided years of friendship, most recently after my mother's passing. A GREAT meal, GREAT drinks and a even better managed restaurant, ...... and CLEAN too!

STEAK!!!

By JLG_world |

I usually stay away from chain restaurants, even upscale chains, but Ruth's Chris knows how to grill a steak, so ........ yum! The new set price 3-course menu is definitely worth it, but I was so full I took the dessert home with me.

Outstanding hotel restaurant.

By capitalistroader |

Portions are large, but take-home boxes are cheerfully provided. I enjoyed the stuffed chicken breast and creamed spinach.

Okay Steak. Poor Ambiance

By jupiterman3000 |

In town on business and was craving steak. This restaurant was only 3 blocks from my hotel and had bar seating for dining. I was not thrilled to have the restaurant inside a hotel. In my opinion, the ambiance was cheapened for an otherwise upscale brand. The steak was good and the wine was okay. The bar staff is not the caliber I would expect for the prices charged at Ruth Chris. I don't recommend this location.

It's Fine. Just Fine.

By bbyckes |

This restaurant is fine. It's just fine. There was nothing exceptional about this dining experience. This particular restaurant is inside an Embassy Suites. The décor is tired and outdated. The overall ambiance of the restaurant and hotel is tired and shabby. If you are looking to enjoy a meal which would garner the price point of Ruth's Chris, I would look elsewhere. Specifically regarding the food and service - our server was very good and attentive. He was dressed neatly, appeared to enjoy his job and was quite friendly. The food was very good as well - my steak was prepared to the perfect temperature. The food came out hot and in a timely fashion. Our drinks from the bar were excellent as well. That being said - for me, the overall dining experience includes the ambiance, the décor, the overall look and feel - and the restaurant itself is lacking in that regard. I did enjoy my food, but it is not enough to make go back to this particular location to dine again.

Super bowl service was Excellent!

By karinag870 |

Jasmine was exceptional! She went far and beyond to assist us with great service! Friends and I were visiting for Superbowl 2019, and decided to stop by Ruth Chris for cocktails and dessert! We will be back again ! Lemon drops and cream burlee!! Amaxinggg ! Thank you for the great customer service !

Interesting Thanksgiving Dinner at Ruth Chris Buckhead, GA

By KingLel |

The Thanksgiving dinner was barely ok. What was noteworthy, is that they were seating only people of color outside the dining room …in the waiting area, next to the hotel lobby lounge area. This was so blatantly obvious, that I asked the Waitress if this was the “colored section” and she laughingly assured me that it was not. About 2 minutes later, more people of color were seated next to us …while others were escorted inside. I was dressed in a beige silk top with flared black leather pants and high heels …so this had nothing to do with appropriate attire. For $160, I got to experience the hotel lobby for thanksgiving dinner!

A 5 star VIP Birthday Dinner

By Robby C |

Wow, it’s been a little over 24 hours since my mom and I visited Ruth’s Chris for my birthday and I simply can’t stop thinking about the amazing experience we had! From start to finish, our server Danyell ensured we received a 5-star VIP dining experience. She was courteous, attentive our table, customer friendly and professional. She truly made sure we received the best of what Ruth’s Chris had to offer and definitely upheld the legendary establishment’s superior reputation. The food was incredibly delicious and we savored every morsel. My steak was cooked to perfection and came out in a timely manner as well. Danyell, my mom and I thank you for a timeless and priceless birthday memory. We will definitely be returning!

Overpriced/Overrated

By Mark H |

24 bucks for a glass of Blanton's. It's bad enough that you ruin nice cuts of meat by frying them in butter and way too much salt. No repeat business here. Especially with Bones and the Palm a block away.

Big Disappointment

By Joel F |

I started with a Caesar salad and it was fine. But then the main course arrived: a 12 ounce tenderloin...It had very little taste and quite a bit of gristle. Unforgiveable in a restaurant that brags about its beef. It was of course, expensive. The décor was heavy and dark and dated. All in all, a depressing atmosphere in which to eat a bad steak! The service was attentive and personable, but I was not there for the service.

Wonderful Meal

By SakuraCat |

I have been to Ruth's before with my parents and loved it. Today I went there once again and got the most delicious meal I could ever ask for! The food was juicy, tasty, simply perfect! Our server, Hunter Sterk, was amazing with us especially because of his niceness and for giving me a special "congratulations" dessert when we told him during a conversation that I was accepted at Emory University. Ruth's is a magical place and worth visiting if you love good food.

Jay the Man!

By Tayna L |

Jay was the gentleman who valeted my car on Mother’s Day. He was great! He greeted me warmly and wished me a Happy Mother’s Day. He took time to show me where the restaurant was where I was dining. Jay was great. He is very personable and made the experience easy.

Avoid the Bar

By BeakerTX |

For a fancy steak joint, this bar falls well short. I stopped in for a nice Scotch and perhaps a dinner. Took 10 min before I was acknowledged. They have a nice iPad whiskey menu, but the first two items I requested were out. When I finally got lucky on the third try, it was served in a HOT glass.....fresh out of the dryer. Quick way to ruin a neat scotch. I ended up not ordering food after that fiasco, but was offered food for several other bar patrons on three trips by the wait staff (by mistake). It was a not-so-crowded weeknight. Not sure what got this group off, but it was terrible.

Manager works really hard to satisfy customers

By ES765 |

I enjoyed dinner at Ruth Chris a couple of nights while in Atlanta. I observed the restaurant manger doing multiple jobs to make sure customers were satisfied. I watched this manager from the lobby of the Embassy Suites and decided I would go in and have dinner because of the work ethics I observed with the manager and staff. I was pleased with the crab cakes, sweet potato casserole and the creamed spinach. The lettuce wedge salad did not taste like it had been washed so I sent it back to the kitchen. The wait staff was great. My overall dinning experience was great. I would recommend this restaurant if you are in town. It was also quite entertaining to be a guest here because you never know what celebrity you will find at the bar or in the dinning room.

HUBBY FAVORITE SPOT

My husband absolutely loves this place his go to when I cant find him and hes in the mood for steak I know where to find him....lol

Don’t eat in bar

By Olive W |

Ate in bar but was v smelly and not up to usual Chris Ruths standard as I have eaten in many of them

Ruth Chris bar service is exceptional!

By Mark B |

You have to come to the Ruth Chris bar here. Paul and Janine are the best. I’m a frequent visiter here and traveler in general. Their service is exemplary, great conversation, but not in your face. In my travels, I truly look forward to my time here at the Ruth Chris bar with Paul and Janine.

Valentine day dinner

By Rob1126 |

I took my wife to Ruth's Chris for valentine dinner. The steak was exactly as I would have expected. Delicious, tender and very expensive. Service was exemplary....again, as expected. I ordered an old fashioned and it showed up with no bitters. The only reason I don't give the full 5 rating is simply price. I've never had (and can't imagine I ever will) a steak dinner for two that can justify $100+ per person. Sorry....that's just the way I see it.

Birthday

By Christy M |

My Husband and I want to commend Deion who provided us with excellent service tonight as we celebrated my Husbands Birthday. It was his first time dining there and I couldn't be happier that his experience was a pleasant one. The food was exquisite and presentation was wonderful. I would truly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Futhermore, everyone who we came in contact with in restaurant were very customer friendly (Host, Hostess, Young Lady who seated us, and the Gentleman who brought the food to our table). We will definitely dine there again. Thank you all,

Fabulous for Foodies!

By 59mcw |

Had a 6 oz Blue Cheese Crusted Filet with a Lobster tail, mandarin salad, loaded bacon/broccoli baked potato with gouda cheese and a blackberry crumble cheese cake for desert. The red wine sangria was most tasty and refreshing! Service was a bit off last night but that could have been a fluke, thus the 4 rating.

Great service

By KBrown246 |

The customer service by Mr. Ed was fantastic and the steaks were A+. We also would like to commend the manager who was very attentive to ensure a great experience. We could not have been happier with our experience at Ruth's Chris Steak house. We will definitely dine there again

They don't enforce their own rules

By Dennis B |

I have not been to this location in several years. We decided to give it another try. That was a mistake. There is a clearly stated business attire policy that is posted at the hostess stand. You can't miss it. One part states "Guests wearing bll caps are asked to dine in the bar/lounge." As soon as we walked in the dining room I saw two guests with balls caps on at the same table. The rest of the table were clearly not dressed in business casual attire - tee shirts and faded blue jeans. Why the staff cannot enforce such a simple rule baffles me. This is an ongoing (for years) problem at this location. If they are not going to enforce their dress code policy, then remove the sign and just let anyone in wearing whatever they want. At least guest will know not to expect a business casual attire and can decide if the want to dine here based on that. Our steaks were over cooked. We ordered rare and they were medium rare to medium. The famous sizzining plates were not to be found. Our plates were warm at best. The flavor of the steaks was off as well. I love Ruth's Chris and will continue to dine at other locations, but never this one again.

Conrad is the best

I enjoyed a delightful meal and had a beautiful experience at Conrad. Their service and expertise are deserving of a Michelin Goldstar.

July 4th

By Muriales1950 |

We stopped in for a quick lunch on July 4th,the food as always was excellent but the hospitality was above and beyond..Great service by a great team..Thanks

Disaster

By McDono |

Our trip there was a celebration or we would have bailed out before we even got there. We sat on Peachtree St. for 30 minutes waiting to get into the hotel entrance and valet parking. After the meal it took 40 minutes to get our car. It was 30 degrees outside so we had to wait inside in a small lobby full of people waiting for elevators and their cars. Maybe 10% of the people were wearing masks. Ruth Chris's website says they are following all Covid procedures. They absolutely are not. The food and service are okay, but for the price Atlanta has a dozen much better steak restaurants- Marcel, Bones, Prime, Chops for a few.

Ask for the manager

By Mia |

We stayed at the embassy suites hotel in Atlanta Georgia and ate at Ruth and Chris. Based on the prices of everything we assumed that the food was going to be on point. Well, After having to ask for plates because they didn't give us anywe enjoyed the crab cakes, We enjoyed the stuff mushrooms the tuna tatar and We really enjoyed the barbecue shrimp! However the calamari was too sweet.. We Told our waitress, Sade, that we didn't like it and she said, OK. At that point we expected her to take it away, given the price that we had paid, and ask if we wanted a replacement, but she didn't. Because we paid so much, and didn't want to waste money, we continued to force ourselves to eat it. Subsequently she came by our table again and we said we didn't like the calamari, and again she said, "Ok". Finally we just couldn't force it down our mouths any longer and we told her that we were not satisfied with the calamari and she said, "I'll get the manager for you. When the 1st manager arrived she wanted us to pay for the calamari because she said we had eaten most of it. We explained the situation and how we tried to get rid of it several times but the waitress didn't offer an alternative. Eventually another manager was called over, Donald, and he took it off of our bill. We'll never go to this restaurant again!

Quick Burger-to-go

By JiiH |

One evening I was starving and decided to grab a burger from the Hotels Ruth's Chris Steak House and eat it in the room. I have to say that it was REALLY good. I first thought that the price was pretty steep just for the burger but then again - taste was easily worth it.

Conrad is the Best

By Rip R |

Conrad is a great server to ask for at the Buckhead location. His experience and attention to detail made my Birthday celebration even more special. The food and service were excellent. Ruth's Chris Buckhead is fortunate to have Conrad as a server. Thank you!

Not the Ruth’s Chris Experience Y’all are used to 👎🏼

By ClovisShaw |

Poor service from hostess throughout service with wait staff. Quality of food sub par. Not the Ruth’s Chris I’ve known for 30+ years. Location was moved in Buckhead to now in an Embassy Suites. If you like Ruth’s don’t go to this one.

Very Relaxed Dress Code

By dkwtrippin |

I was a little worried because I really didn't pack "dress-up" clothes. I read the code posted at the front reception desk and thought- good, not too strict. We're good. We have been to many Ruth Chris' over the years, but I've never been to one that resembles Chuck-E-Cheez. Although I was glad to wear something fairly casual, I was surprised to see. Daisy Duke Shorts, Sweats, Ball Caps on Backwards, Kid Running around Screaming. Not my usual experience at one of our most favorite restaurants. It seemed really "watered down." Upside: The food was just as good as our other favorite locations. Kudos to the Chef and Staff there. Our waiter, "Conrad" was excellent and very personable. Would I go back- probably not. When you are spending that kind of money- you expect atmosphere and elegance.

Awesome Experience

By Emma T |

Fantastic experience all around. Courtney was our server and she did a phenomenal job with our private dinner. Can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work! Jay was our valet, and he was great as well with such a positive attitude! Food was wonderful as always.

2019 mro aviation expo

By Billy R |

The food was great but the service for the cost of the food was not top notch compared to the one in Miami. Servers need to pay attention to patrons request and be more attentive. At times I had to flag down a server for a drink as they were too busy. Our party had 7 people and bought a couple of bottles of wine so our expectations were lower than expected. Maybe next time Ruth's Chris, maybe next time.

Good Service Good Steak

Had A Great Anniversary Lunch

By 4Starrguest |

We decided on Ruth Chris for lunch to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed at all. I sent a special request letting the restaurant know that we were celebrating our anniversary and upon arrival the manager congratulated us and said he was sending complimentary champagne to our table. That was a unexpected and pleasant surprise. We had the Porterhouse for two which was amazingly good. Our waiter Linden was very attentive and funny. We had a fantastic time and we will back again on a non occassion.

Michael is an amazing server!

By Damien L |

I was hesitant to dine in at the restaurant at first because I hate going to eat around closing time at any restaurant because the service is typically awful everytime I do so. This time was very much different. My family and I enjoyed every bite of our meal and we did not feel rushed at all. Our server Michael treated us with so much class and respect, it really left me in awe. He really has changed my mind on how I view service, even if this ends up being the only time this happens. This was a great and unexpected end to my family vacation.

10 out of 10

By Reginald P |

We really enjoyed our stay. Nick heels, Tracy, and the entire breakfast team made us feel very comfortable and made us feel like Royalty. We were there celebrating our 34rh wedding anniversary. These ladies were very awesome and very professional. They were very nice and was so very helpful...good customer service is hard to found but this team is exceptional...We look forward on coming again real soon.

Wonderful dining experience!

By Crystal W |

This Ruth's was great! We were seated quickly, and handled with care the entire time we were there. The food was amazing, so I want to send my thanks to the chef! I have no complaints, and our waiter Mark was absolutely adorable, and very good at his art! We're planning another group meal soon and they're already suggesting that we go back here! I'm guessing we'll be back sooner than later! Thanks for an awesome dining experience!

They Need to Enforce the Dress Code

By Dennis B |

I have been here many times and the food is always good. The problem is the lack of enforcement of the dress code that is clearly stated on a sign by the hostess stand. I don't blame the customers, but the staff. They clearly (and correctly) state that "business casual" is the required attire and no baseball caps, and no athletic wear will be allowed in the main dining room. If you come dressed inappropriately you will be asked to eat in the bar - a reasonable rule. Yet, seated next to me in the main dining room was a "gentlemen" with a baseball cap, gym shorts, a tee shirt and flip flops, who also talked on his phone most of the time. I now know way too much about his love life. It's an insult to all the customers who dress appropriately and come for a nice upscale dining experience.

We went on Valentine’s Day

By Lisa B. |

We went on Valentine’s Day while traveling which was very difficult to secure a reservation last minute but Ruth Chris extended their dining out to the dining area of the Embassy Suites. It was a little cold but there was a musician and very sweet crowd of people enjoying their last minute valentine day plan like us.

Great but not the best of Ruth's..

By Dave W |

The menu was traditional and food served was excellent. Service and ambiance were a bit lacking. True, the hotel in which this is located (Embassy Suite) was undergoing some construction but Ruth's Chris portion was unchanged and unaffected. I felt the decor, lighting, seating, style were just not up to best of the RC's locations. It was not busy, but I felt crowded, music was a bit intrusive. Part of the price of the RC experience is the ambiance and that was lacking in my view. NO complaints on the quality of the food, and we were even comp'd some BBQ between drinks and dinner which were super. I felt the staff tried hard to provide top service, they just weren't polished yet. Still go, just know.

Great Food, Pricey too!

By SmartGenius |

Ruth’s Chris is a very elegant restaurant and great atmosphere. The food truly is delicious. I had the Sweet Potato dish and Salmon. While the Salmon was decent the sweet potato was great! The price for what you pay in my opinion is somewhat higher than I’d say is of value for the food. Not sure (for example) if the Salmon was farm raised of wild caught; for which I would pay the price I did for Wild Caught.

Stayed at the embassy suites where this is housed. It was pretty empty and I think I know why. Only room service option was this Ruth Chris. I ordered chicken, a salad and a basic baked potato. The guy taking (and I think delivering) my order was great and my two stars are ONLY because of him. He recommended a sixty percent off bottle of wine which was actually good. That was needed since the food was AWFUL. I had a stuffed chicken breast that was so salty it was inedible. Zero presentation just tossed on a plate. The baked potato was also undercooked and just globed on a plate. I get it, it’s room service but I still paid over 60 bucks for this. I was too tired to complain but if I’d been dining in, I would have walked out..for a high end restaurant, I felt cheated. I would not go to this restaurant when there are like 50 excellent ones within a three minute walk.

Steak Dinner

By David R |

As to be expected with a restaurant of Ruth Chris caliber our steaks were very very good the wait staff was top notch. I had a ribeye cesar salad and couscous. While my steak was very good the couscous was fantastic. Well done good job. The bonus was only having to walk to the elevator to head back to our rooms

GET THE COWBOY CUT

Excellent staff. We enjoyed. My son had his first T Bone one night, then together we took down the Cowboy Cut Ribeye. FUN.

HORRIBLE SERVICE

By MrMrsJLW |

My family and I just left , having dinner for thanksgiving. Appetizer and entree took over 90 minutes. We have been to other fine dining restaurants and had 5 courses in that time. The server dropping half of the overcooked calamari on the floor before getting to the table and our 2 sides being cold and we had to send them back was just par for the course. By the time the sides came back out, we were all finished eating. Over $200 for SLOP. We will NEVER return to this restaurant or any of the chains. It wasn’t even that crowded.

Not worth it

Good food quality. A little on the rich side. Very expensive for what you get. Estimate $100 / plate out the door PLUS alcohol. The restaurant is in the Embassy Suites Hotel. The facilities look tired and dated. However, the hotel lives being renovated. Hopefully, the renovation includes the restaurant. The service was excellent however the kitchen was very slow with the restaurant only about half full. The worst part of the experience was the failure to in force their own dress codes. Some men and women were wearing pants that looked like they came out of the Salvation Army dumpster. Men wearing undersized dirty T-shirts made me cringe for fear of being overwhelmed by body odor. They may have been clean but they sure didn't look the part. I have seen better-looking guest guests at McDonald's. All of the negatives overwhelmed the decent food quality and turned what should have been a positive experience sour. I do not valet park because I refuse to turn my car over to anyone that will not accept responsibility for it. Parking is available across the street under the Intercontinental Hotel if you can stomach the fright and risk of going into that deck alone after dark. I would not go back to this place if they were giving food away. IMO, the value proposition will never make it worth another $200+ try.

Great Dining Experience

The bartender was kind enough to seat us after being told they were at capacity and could seat us outside the restaurant. The food, drinks, and service, all great!!

Better than expected

By SSI Traveler |

1st let me get this out of the way. Yes, this restaurant is in the 1st floor of a badly worn Embassy Suites. Unfortunately you’ll have to travers the lobby to enter the restaurant. The restaurant is really good. Service was prompt and attentive, food delivered at a convenient pace, entree and appetizers were excellent and ambiance was just ok. Everything here is above average but certainly not exceptional.

Excellent food

Our first trip to Ruth Chris but won’t be our last. Expect to spend around $50 per person, but worth it for a splurge meal. I think the shrimp and grits was best meal I’ve ever had and portions are large. Sides are a la carte but are big enough to share. Excellent service in a nice quiet atmosphere.

The BBQ shrimp was amazing

I just went for an appetizer and a cocktail, but the experience was wonderful. Great food and really great service. The atmosphere definitely felt a bit "hotel-ish" rather than the type of atmosphere you normally see in a stand-alone fine dining steakhouse. But I still really enjoyed the experience. I've had a steak there before and liked it, and Caesar salad back then was excellent.

Middle Of The Road

By Sorrell8615 |

Have been to many Ruth Chris many times this one was middle of the pack in service, food quality etc. I don’t think I’ll go back to this one they did not get my porterhouse or our filet right on the first try.

Nice!

The steak was as promised from a particularly special breed and the place was in a great location near the Olympic park. However, you do pay for it's location and unfortunately my steak was over done by 10 seconds but the service was great.

Wonderful time!

Awesome Visit

By Hawkvol07 |

I was very please and impressed with my visit. We had the Lamb Chops and Shrimp and Grits. The S&P were good, the Lamb Chops were outstanding! Management came over often to make sure we were being taken care of and our server was very good. I will be going back again.

"Holds it's own..."

By Summit Seeker |

We've eaten at several RC's, and come to expect a great steak, and prompt and unstuffy service. And this one is no different. What is, is that fact that we find this to be one of our favorite locations, and it's wedged between a huge stack of prime steakhouses. Now, they're all great choices, but Ruth seems to add a little touch, that makes us come back. It'd be hard to say this is the very best steak in this town. But, it holds its own with any. Side items and salads are solid. Service is always good, and we just can't recommend this location enough. Enjoy

Great steaks, as usual.

Recently dined with 7 other people. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the wait staff was very attentive and professional. The bone-in ribeye was exceptional. They also offered a prix fixe menu that was very affiordable

Great Food and Immaculate Service

The food was 10/10! We ordered the porter house steak, lobster Mac, and sweet potato casserole. Conrad was our server. He did an amazing job. We didn’t have to remind him to do anything. He made sure that my birthday was special. If you come to the buckhead location ask for Conrad!

Very good

Ate at Ruth’s Chris for the first time. It was incredibly tasty! Our waiter, Tristan, was very friendly and good at his job.

Awesome food and great service, ordered the 6 oz filet with lobster tail plus garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was prepared as ordered and came out piping hot.

Buckhead Dining Gem

By VMVMadison |

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Buckhead is my go to restaurant for a relaxing time with good food. We do go for dinner on the early side, to avoid the crowd, and it is well worth it. Recommend the Calamari, the Lettuce Wedge (the 1000 Island Dressing is available and delicious), Filet Mignon, Baked Loaded Potato, and Creme Brulee. Edward T., the Server, excels in his profession. His Customer Service talents are impressive. This was the second time we had the good fortune to dine in his area. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Excellent, a must dine experience!!!

Superior experience - great food and service

By janicecV8272HG |

Delicious! Both the food and the service were top-notch. Our waitress Akilah helped us navigate the menu and answered our questions. All courses were delivered with perfect timing - we never felt rushed. The filet was prepared to perfection and the lobster tail was the best ever. My compliments to all the wait staff and the chef. Memorable experience.

I hate to be negative but this place needs work.

I have enjoyed this place before but this was my first brush with this location. I was part of a party of five this past weekend. I will say that when I am eating at a location that promotes itself at this level and price, I am rather biased toward everything being perfect. It was not. For some reason even though it was prime time dining the place had seated an infant in a high chair in the main dining room. To say the one year old was fussy would be an understatement. My back was to the infant but she would let out a blast every 3 or 4 minutes and the looks from other diners led me to believe that their looks should have been enough that the servers should have acted much faster than they did. This location is partially in the lobby of a Embassy Suites and they were eventually relocated there to an area where other diners where not seated. Lesson learned? Nope. By the time we departed they had seated another couple with a two year old at the same table. I would note that that child caused no problems but for staff to tempt faith again in such a short period of time evidences that they have not a clue. Meal was good but not excellent. My filet arrived medium rather than medium rare which I ate without complaint. The server was not nearly as attentive as I expect at a place of this level and that was reflected in chronically empty beverage glasses all around the table. He was however most aggressive in suggesting his tip level should be 22% when he brought the card machine to the table to satisfy the check. Based on my experience I doubt I will return. To be clear it was not a bad experience but again when I am dining at this level, good is just not good enough.

Great place to eat

After a long day of tkd tournament we had a big hunger for a big dinner. So we went here the steak I got was out of this world good. The waiter kept our glasses full and was very helpful with the menu it was a bit high on the price but the food was great. We definitely will be going back I just hope the next the prices are better.
