New location

I'd been to this restaurant in two other locations in Las Vegas. It was rather entertaining to look out the window to see Caesar's Palace. The food is always excellent, and we had leftovers for breakfast.

Vegas w/ Family

Went for a quick drink and appetizers. Ron the bartender was great. Drinks were exceptional and the appetizers were wonderful. The customer service received from Ron and Jason made it a great time!

First time here wont be the last

By lynn d |

Nothing bad to say about this place. The food was cooked to perfection and the wait staff were friendly and patient. They were attentive but not obvious. The drinks were mixed just right and not watered down like some places. The prices were a little on the high side but in this case you get what you pay for and the views of the Las Vegas Strip were fantastic. As locals, we will be back.

Not as special as we had expected

By DowntownGBrown |

We celebrate every anniversary in one of your restaurants. Disappointed that some of the food choices weren't available (no shoestring potatoes) and no photo or dessert for our celebration. Other venues have done more to make it special. Food was ok, service ok.

Making It Simple For You

By JseeJ |

I always read the negative reviews when rating a newly visited establishment. I laughed this time as a couple portrayed this one as awful, terrible, avoid, etc. I think these had to be random one offs as I couldn't disagree more with their opinions. But, we all have a right to opinion so be it. The food, environment, service, and quality were over the top at this first visit. We loved the hospitality and everything that was on mark. You must try and enjoy as we did. Cudos to the Management and all staff here as they work hard to make your visit an event. Will return sooner than later. Excellent.

Very unfriendly Reception

By Christa U |

The Restaurant was almost empty and the girl gave us a very bad table. We could not choose one we liked and left the Restaurant.

Worst quality steak we have had at a high end steakhouse

By Love2dine054 |

This RC experience was poor. We go out of our way when traveling to seek out rc locations because we enjoy wet aged steak on a hot buttered plate. We had a signature cut 19oz bone in NY. It was AWFUL. Tough to cut with a ton of grizzle. It was a very poor quality steak. For a 100 steak (with tip) we were highly disapointed. We cook better at home for around seven dolllars. I hope this was a fluke experience but we will NEVER go back to this location. Will have to think about our loyalty to the RC brand in the future. Forgot we also did not enjoy the circular cheesecake it had an oreo bottom (what?) and was very sweet and soft. Some may like it but we prefer a traditional more dense style that is less sweet (ny style).

Ruth Chris Gouges Customers

By PAN12302020 |

Ruth’s Chris has been one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas for years. However on my visit two weeks ago, I was flabbergasted that they were charging $25 for a glass of wine and now their ribeye steak is $76. No meal is worth that, even though the steak was great, the creamed Spanish was runny and not hot - just kind of warm. They are just gouging their customers. Sorry folks, you will not see me again.

Great food pricey

By Cynthia S |

I made reservations three days prior to my services. I arrived on time for dinner, however the lobby was full and I had to wait in addition 20 minutes. However the food was delicious, I had the mixed grill, with crab cake, chicken breast and mini filet migion. Tender and my spouse had New York strip steak very tenderize.

Very Delicious Food - DO NOT MISS OUT

By A.M |

The petite fillet is to die for. Jumbo shrimps are yummy. The Creme Brulee was the best I ever had. Friendly staff.

Amazing

By ldrazee |

This was truly a wonderful dining experience. That staff was very courteous and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. I can't even say enough good things about this restaurant. Loved it!

Celebrate for any reason.

Great place for celebratory dinner. We had a great evening celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.

So very, very good!

By MrKite9 |

Normally, I don't write reviews for well known restaurants with established reputations for excellence but our meal at Ruth's Chris was so good I just had to comment. The steaks were absolutely perfect in taste, texture and temperature. The salad was so good I could have made a meal on it alone. The cheesecake was wonderful and our waiter, Sean, was professional, pleasant and attentive without overdoing it. When I am in Vegas I try to go to places where I haven't been before but it will be tough not to return to Ruth's Chris.

Unacceptable Management

By Louis P |

We had reservations for 6:15pm, drove 45 minutes to Harrahs and as we parked got call at 6pm they were closing restaurant for the evening. No explanation given. Couldn't get reservations elsewhere and had pizza for our Anniversary dinner. Just complete disregard for customers. I dont care if we were the only patrons you still dont close or at least call earlier in the day. You know how many reservations you have. If they told me the chef had Covid I would understand but no explanation is just not acceptable.

Disappointments: rude service & burnt side dish

By athnaz |

My husband has eaten at multiple locations of Ruth’s Chris, including the one in San Francisco and San Diego. I’d never been to one. We were so looking forward to our meal at the Vegas location, unfortunately it was disappointing and certainly not worth the cost. We made 5pm reservation to have dinner before a 7pm show. We checked in at the desk and were told to wait until our name was called. We waited 23 minutes before we were seated even though the place was almost empty. Over 10 people who came in after us were seated before us. We checked in at the desk again and they were puzzled and it took them another 5 minutes to locate our reservation. The sullen hostess barely offered an apology and seemed annoyed. Eventually a waitress showed up at our table, her behavior and demeanor would have been more appropriate at a fast food diner, rather than a “fine-dining” steakhouse. I had to ask for a gluten free menu ( celiac disease was noted in my reservation). When I asked a few questions about items on the gluten free menu the waitress interrupted me and pushed back in a tone more appropriate to a school yard bully “I don’t know nothing about gluten. I don’t even know what that is. Do you have a problem with parsley, butter, and garlic?” We waited for our food for such a long time that a couple seated just before us finished their dessert before our dinner arrived. The Brussels spouts were completely inedible, burnt and mushy. If we had time, we would have sent them back, instead we just didn’t eat them, waste of food & money. The baked potato we shared was fine. The wine bottle we ordered was ok but with a lot of sediment. The filet was cooked as expected but not so stellar it could make up for the other deficits of the meal. I don’t recommend Ruth’s Chris in Vegas, it is not worth the expense or time, the service is decidedly lack luster (my husband was appalled by the service), the Brussels sprouts were inedible, the rest of the food we ordered was just okay and decor is some what faded & dated. Spend your Money elsewhere!

Overpriced and very disappointing food

By SunnysideDon |

My wife and I went here for what we hoped would be a nice romantic meal. Unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. I had a New York strip steak which was a very poor piece of meat. It was tough and had lots of gristle which was of course inedible. I had green beans as a side which was ok. The best thing I had was a Caeser's salad which was very good, My wife had a baked potato which wasn't even warm and grilled asparagus which was truly awful. It was stringy and had no flavor. All in all a terrible meal with a hefty price tag attached. The restaurant itself is nice and has nice views of the strip. The service was acceptable. Obviously we won't be going back given the substandard food and sky high prices.

Amazing Birthday Dinner

By Teashia G |

Me and my best friend chose one night to dress up and do a fancy dinner and since Ruth’s Chris was in our hotel we made a reservation. When we got to the reservation both the hostess welcome us and confirmed our reservation. Then put us on the elevator and up we went to the restaurant! Once we got to the restaurant we where greeted again and seated right away! For an appetizer we had the fried calamari which delicious! Then for drinks as has a peach moscato! For dinner we had the petite steak and shrimp and creamy spinach the food was great the waiter was amazing as well! Went wobbled back to our room full and ready for a nap

Wonderful meal

By Joseph S |

Having just visited San Diego and eaten at Ruth's Chris there, we figured we give the Las Vegas location a go. The food was excellent and the service was similarly outstanding. (Ki N and his assistant were extremely attentive and knowledgeable). I had the filet and my spouse went with the blackened scallops. The martinis were mixed well, but a bit pricey. My only complaint would be that we paid a $20 premium for a window seat, but we were toward the back of the restaurant along the window-- so furthest away from the Strip. There was nothing to look at really... just the bar below. Despite the upcharge, I'll return for the service and the food.

Best steak in town

By Thomas M |

Ruth Chris does it right. I suggest the chilled seafood tower. Lobster, shrimp, Crab Legs, lump Crab. All cracked and ready to eat . Excellent Then have the 3 course meal has everything, go with lobster bisque instead of salad. You can get salad anywhere. View is spectacular, service is excellent. Pricey but great place to enjoy the experience. We’ll be back next time in Vegas

Great VIEW and Great FOOD

By L K |

We had a nice dinner overlooking the Strip in Vegas. JEFFERY was our server and he did a Fantastic job. This was our first time to eat at this Ruth Chris. We love Ruth Chris and have eaten at a lot in different states. I always have the Ruth Chris chopped salad and highly recommend it. My husband always has the Caesar salad. He had the Filet and AuGratin Potatoes.I had the 16 ounce Ribeye. You can never go wrong with a Ribeye. The bread they serve was different than other Ruth Chris that we’ve eaten at. We really didn’t care for it.

After years of enjoy this restaurant, massive dissatisfaction

By keith s |

I flew in from South Korea and wanted to celebrate with my brother and nephew my recovery from various health challenges. I have been regular customer for years and visited Ruth's Chris at various locations around the globe. We called for reservations and they said there is a charge for sitting by the windows, it seemed exorbinant so we passed. But at the restaurant which was mostly open and now sitting along the windows it seemed a bit absurd we got seated so far away from a good view with so many open tables. First it was hard to find the entrance to Harrah's Casino where the restaurant is located in. You drive in through what looks like an apocalypse movie set, more like an entrance to a third world one star hotel. Valet parking was $40. After our $500 plus meal that waiter informed us that no, Ruth Chris does not validate parking. The prices have grown absurd but I felt this was a special occasion and if the food and service warrants it, OK so be it. They over cooked my brother's rib eye, the waiter was luke warm appologetic. He took it back and when the replacement arrived it was full of gristle and befitting a cheap dive restaurant not for what were paying. Service was like my brother's steak, most dissapointing. Our table was never was crumbed, we were not offered fresh ground pepper with our steaks and was for the most part unattentive. While not rude it was uncarring. Our desserts set for a long time before they were cleared. After more than 30's dinning at Ruth's Chris this was the last time. Dramtic price increase while a serious deterioration in qualtiy and service. Good bye, you lost a customer for life. Also my brother will never return.

One of our favorite stops

By Lily B |

One of our favorite stops when in Vegas Excellent food and service. Located in Harrah’s Cay on the Vegas strip. Ask for a window table if possible, great views of the Strip while dining. We ordered the 3 course special , house salad, 8oz filet, sweet potato casserole and dessert $85 and the Chilean sea bass entree . It was delicious and plentiful for 2 people. suggest you get the filet a little under because it will cook on the hot sizzling plate the serve it on. On the best meals we had during our trip.

great meal

By Kenneth Z |

My nephew and I ordered the four course meal for 85 and 95 dollars a piece. His more expensive option included a 11 oz filet vs my 8 oz version. The sourdough bread was fresh and moist. We both chose the gumbo as the first course. This was a letdown as the soup contained tiny fractions of shrimp and the taste became boring half way through. Both steaks were tender and of high quality. The garlic mashed potatoes and sweet potato sides were excellent. The cheesecake for dessert completed the meal. Highly recommend and will return.

Fantastic steak dinner and ambience

By Tom C |

A very high-end steak restaurant right on the strip! While you pay for the experience, our steak (and entire meal) was one of the best we have ever had. Wait staff was prompt and attention to detail was obvious. Our table looked right over the Vegas strip which was a nice bonus. One of our party was celebrating a birthday and was rewarded with a complementary dessert--very nice!

Average at best

By jfinnnnnnnnnn |

Not very good. Lamb chops were tough and flavorless. Lobster bisque lacked flavor and was runny. Creamed spinach a tad bitter. This place is overrated and overpriced. There are much better choices to dine in Vegas.

Excellent Food and Amazing View of the Strip

By BusinessGalfromSouth |

We arrived right on time and we were seated immediately. The waiter was on top of us as soon as we sat down, inquiring about drinks and appetizers. We needed some time to review our options before ordering drinks. He was extremely attentive and spoke fast, a little too quick. After our drinks arrived, the other tables were filled with people. The view was amazing. We sat on an upper tier and the windows along the restaurant where from the ground to the ceiling and we could see the entire strip. Excellent view regardless of where you sat. We ordered our meals and they arrived promptly before finishing our drinks. Note the food was amazing as expected. We travel often and love Ruth Chris creme brulee and talked about it prior to leaving our hotel room. Once our food arrived, we never saw our waiter again until long after we finished our meals. We had a 9PM show to attend which was across town and no time for dessert considering our waiter never stopped by our table and when he did it was too late to chance missing the opening of the show.

Outstanding

By RayandCarole |

We are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary for all of 2022. We went to Ruth's Chris for a special dinner, and it was fantastic. We both do not eat a lot, and the portions were very large, so we split an 11-oz filet mignon, and added a side of asparagus. With the appetizer and dessert, it was a perfect dinner. What made it extra special was the service. I know this is a chain restaurant, but, when you are in a strange city, and don't know where to go, this is a perfect choice for a perfect meal

Birthday disappointment

By cparah |

We are fairly new residents in Henderson, NV. We went to Ruth's Chris in Las Vegas for my birthday last night because I love crab cakes and I had the best crab cakes ever in the Ruth's Chris in Baton Rouge. We had the crab cake app and I ordered the BBQ Shrimp which I also loved in Baton Rouge. The crab cakes were served with very visible brown or burned edges on the top. They tasted more like burned toast than crab cakes. This made me look at the bottom of the cake and it was black. Nearly $40 wasted. The BBQ shrimp amounted to what may as well have been frozen cooked and peeled shrimp arranged in a mound of mashed potatoes, with a yellow sauce on top. Certainly nothing like Baton Rouge, even though it is still Ruth's Chris. $48 wasted. This restaurant is very busy and very noisy. We had window seating and could only see the entrance to Harrah's and the LINQ. Certainly not worth the $10 per person charge for sitting at the window. We will not be back, and probably will not go for a nice meal anywhere on the strip. Everything is very expensive and geared to large scale production. Add parking charges on top of the expensive, mediocre food and it is a failure.

Birthday Dinner

By Dirtymax |

The steaks are absolutely fabulous. The sides are awesome. What’s even better is the view of the strip while enjoying a meal with friends on your birthday.

Amazing Steak

By Gemma Higson |

We were recommended this place.... we didnt go the first time, but we have just been this evening, and it didnt disappoint. The steak is tender, flavourful and cooked exactly how you want it. The sides are huge, so share them.... and the Creme Brulee Mmmmmmnn. This is our 6th visit to Vegas, and i wish we would have been every time... ABSOLUTELY perfect.

Cheaters

By Benoit R |

Cheaters We had to sit at the bar for 20 minutes for a table and afterwards we had to eat everything at the bar. This was not agreed upon in advance.

Ruth Chris my mistake

By ronald m |

What a letdown from our pompous server to the inconsistent quality of steak. I have no problem spending money on a good meal but this was less than ordinary. My mistake for wanting to take visiting friends to the strip instead of our usual go to.

Great Food and Service

By Spinerz4 |

Amazing food! Petite steak is one of the best I have ever had. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

Great steak horrible rip off

By wendy and woody |

Without Question the steak was delicious! The complimentary dessert was lovely for the two men sharing their Birthdays and delicious BUT and HOWEVER the service was horrible. First off we had requested a window seat and although the restaurant was empty when we arrived and when we left, they said there was no one to serve in those sections . Later on we were told if we want a table there, there is an additional $25 US per PERSON fee to sit there??? Earnest was our server and he was attentive the first few minutes but once we placed our orders he never came back till the food was being delivered and somehow developed a terrible attitude during that time also. Our bill for six adults and two of those couples shared a steak to boot came to $1300 US Needless to say their birthdays were ruined by this experience. There are a thousand restaurants in Vegas that serve steak. Avoid this place it has obviously passed its "prime"

Top of the notch

By Fernando M |

We were there on time, have a reservation (must), the attention was impeccable, the food delicious, the meat was as butter in my mouth. Excellent. Price, the check for two with only one glass of wine, including tip was 270 dollars, yes, expensive, but worth it. Of course I will be back next year.

Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere

By Josie K |

Definitely pricey (almost $375 for a family of 4) but the food quality was amazing. Had the chicken dish, sirloin, scallops & filet - all delicious. Our server very professional and of course the view above the Strip is beautiful - This place is definitely a splurge but worth it

Excellent steaks and atmosphere

By Graham S |

Had been here before and we went before going to see Mat Franco at the Linq next door. Excellent steaks but you need to book beforehand as there can be significant queues and access is only via the elevator.

My favorite

By KeyFab |

Make sure you make a reservation food was amazing my husband and I enjoy a good steak and seafood... Amazing professional service

Anniversary dinner

By Glepaw |

All I can say is, the was Fantastic! Tom was our waiter and he was just awesome, he went over everything with us and they asked if. Are celebrating anything. We told him our 43 wedding anniversary. So I ordered the petite filet with baked potatoe. My husband ordered a ribeye and baked potato. We started with a lobster bisque soup, they brought out bread. The soup was to die for and when our main meal came, our steaks melted in our mouth. Our over all experience was the best we ever had.way to go Ruth Chris for my wonderful meal and great service. My hat is off to you.

Class Act

By Colourbars |

Sit at the bar and let Greg and his crew take care of you. You won’t go wrong. Food and drinks top notch too. An enjoyable experience.

Always awesome steaks!

By Jeff P |

Ruth's is one of our favorite steakhouses, and they are everywhere in the US. Consistently delicious filets and traditional sides. Matthew was our waiter, and he was excellent! Except for one area, and that was rushing our food out before we were fun she's with our salads. But, he did the right thing, sent them back, and recooked our meal a half hour later as we had requested. Prices seem to creep up even further than last time we visited. $66 for a 10 oz filet....sides are extra. They have a unique proprietary taste to their steaks, and every time I enter their restaurant, that wonderful scent hits me and I'm even more excited for dinner!

Great service, amazing steaks!!!

By Eddie M |

After being at the San Diego location where everything had been perfect, I was a little shocked by the low reviews for the Vegas location, When we arrived at the Harrah's hotel and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were greeted promptly and taken to our table with in minutes of our reservation, the service was top notch, we started with a Caesars salad dressed perfectly, our entree was the cowboy ribeye cooked as requested, mashed potatoes with garlic were delicious, We will definitely return when back in Vegas

Steak Dinner during the Week

By R.G. |

Chose this place because it accepted my diamond celebrate dinner and it was an easy walk from the Venetian. Ordered the filet mignon with a bleu cheese crust. Very good. My waitress was very attentive and the view of the strip at night was very nice. Only thing keeping it from a five star rating was the complimentary bread. Pretty bland when comparing it to the bread from Don’s Prime. But I would definitely eat here again.

Expensive...But good!

By desvw1029 |

We stayed at the Mirage but wanted to see a show across the street at Harrahs, so we went over there and saw they had a Ruth's Chris Steak House. My husband always wanted to try that so we did. Did not disappoint. Food was excellent! It IS VERY EXPENSIVE, I knew that but didn't realize how high it was. But the atmosphere was very nice, view of the strip and service was great! Probably won't go there again but glad we did the one time.

The best steak ever

By hopkinsliz |

We each had the petit filet ($85) and shared a massive baked potato with all the toppings. It was the best steak I have ever tasted. It came on a 500 degree plate and was sizzling in a DELICIOUS buttery sauce. We sat right by the window and watched humanity swarm by. Really fun. It was cold so you should wear something warm even if it is warm outside. The service was outstanding (except they couldn't warm it up). We were to full for dessert but they serve several tempting desserts.

Good, not great.

By TheWorldTraveler47 |

The food was good, not great. My steak was perfect but a few of my friend's steaks were not. They were grisly and tough to chew. The calamari was the best that I've ever had. Our server was very stand-offish. He was kind of rude. I expect a little better quality for the price. We meet in Vegas once a year. We won't go back to this restaurant.

Ruth Chris is excellent

By Glepaw |

Ruth Chris is located inside Harrahs Hotel & Casino. We always eat here at least once while in town. We were seated at a window that overlooked the entrance to Harrahs & the Linq Hotel. Loved watching all the people walking around. Excellent atmosphere inside and waite staff was excellent. Ordered the ribeye with a side of potatoes, hubs ordered the fish with a side, but can’t remember what that side was. Food is ala carte, so it will get very expensive the more you order. I believe our bill was around $245 which isn’t terrible for Vegas. Food was awesome, we really enjoyed our meal. We will be back again , have always had great experiences with Ruth Chris.

Birthday Dinner.

By Tbird12345 |

Birthday Dinner. We have eaten at many of these Ruth’s over the years. This was definitely a disappointing meal. The steaks were bland. I actually think they forgot to put salt on them. They really had no flavor. Both gentlemen had the steaks and the ladies had the sea bass. The sea bass was by far much better. Our waiter was very nice and professional.

Excellent service and Good steaks

By anthonyabad1975 |

Celebrated my Birthday. Food is good!!! lobster tail fresh perfect with butter and lemon, stuffed chicken is a must! and steaks were seasoned well

Great steak

By Paul M |

Great steak night. Good service and worth the price. Get the meal deal with appy, steak and dessert. Worth it

Love the Filet.

By Joe M |

I'm a fan of this chain. This was was good. Very happy I stopped in. I had the Filet. The staff very friendly. I had a business meeting and everyone was happy with the steak and sides.

Food and service delicious, but no must do!

By Pippa P |

The entrance is very inconspicuous and you take a dark elevator out of Casino Harrahs upstairs. I don't want to talk this steakhouse bad because the food and service were excellent! But I would like to give my feedback from a vacationer's perspective. Because every holidaymaker wants unforgettable experiences. Absolutely unforgettable was the hot temperature of the steak (on a hot plate)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But let's go into detail: The entrance is very inconspicuous and you can reach the restaurant via an elevator in Casino Harrahs upstairs. Accordingly, the first impression, even at the top of the reception, is not particularly inviting. The view from the rows of windows is beautiful, but if you are not sitting at the row of windows it is simply a restaurant with standard seating and standard dishes, even if with white tablecloth and fabric napkins a lot of effort is put into making the whole thing more noble. Prices may be frightening for some Europeans, but they are American ok. The soft drinks are always refilled (even if there is still a full glass on the table). Unfortunately, these are served with a straw, so the combination with the more upscale tablecloths, yet again makes you feel the origin of the restaurant. Chic or down-to-earth? That's the question here. And as Vegas connoisseurs, we can tip holidaymakers that there are nicer dining options.

Awesome Dinner and great staff

By Charlie P |

Ruth's Chris Steak House is a real gem. We were looking to eat dinner and were close so we decided to try it. It has a great ambiance and the view is spectacular. The food and service were wonderful. I would highly recommend this place!

They charge for window seating

By TravelingBum10 |

I made a reservation for Ruths Chris in the Harrahs restaurant. I love their food and was looking forward to going. When making the reservation I noticed that there's a few to reserve a table by the large windows with a strip view. I guess they are trying to make up for the lack of people going there. Other than that. The food was amazing as always. The service was great.

Disaster on Christmas Evening

By Islandmomma4ever |

We will never ever go to this restaurant again on a holiday. When we arrived for a 5:30 reservation, we were shocked at how many people were lined up all the way down the halls and every available place where you could stand around the hostess stand. They were way behind seating people and there seemed to be no urgency between the hostess, another seater and the manager. They absolutely were not moving like the place was on fire when there were countless people waiting to be seated. There were plenty of tables and maybe not enough waitstaff so they need to be better prepared. Also when someone pays their ridiculous money grabbing fee of $50 for a booth or premium seating, they should be moved to the top of the priority list for seating. Our service was good and it appeared that all of the waitstaff was hustling but no one at the front was. We talked to a couple of ladies on our way out and they were seated 1 hour and 15 minutes past their reservation. If you have show reservations I think you should pick another place to eat before going here. It was a nightmare1

Service great, steak great, sick on spinach side, prices outrageous

By MLMRocksTravel |

We used to visit Ruth Chris for every special occasion, then it closed in town. We heard many were boycotting the restaurants for accepting the small business loans when they really aren't a small business. It was our 25th anniversary and we were in Vegas to see Rod Stewart. With all the shows dark due to Covid, we decided to treat ourselves to different fine restaurants every night. The biggest bill of the week with from Ruth Chris, and the people who ate the creamed spinach were both sick all night. They were the only two sick and that was the only dish that only the two of them had all day. Steaks were ordered medium. The one delivered to my hubby was brown all the way through and well done. As we were all eating, he did not want to make a scene and send it back. Disappointing that with the cost of a ribeye....it was not done as he ordered it. The potatoes were good. Tina was our server and she was excellent. We were kept in drinks and warm rolls. For $94 a person just for the tasting menu (not including drinks), it was not worth it. We ate in gourmet restaurants every day....and this was the bottom of our list of favorites. We certainly won't be back, especially after the incidents with the creamed spinach. Too bad!

Absolutely delicious steaks and amazing service!

By MusicGirl67 |

We had dinner at Ruth Chris in Las Vegas on 10/4/22. We were seated promptly and within one minute the waitress came over to welcome us and see if we wanted a drink. She returned with some warm bread and our cocktails. We had the jumbo shrimp cocktail for an appetizer which was chilled and delicious. I then had a filet mignon and he had a NY Strip steak. Both were cooked perfectly and were outstanding! I loved every single bite as it was so incredibly delicious. We also loved the fire corn and had mashed potatoes. There are so many steakhouses to pick from in Vegas and we selected Ruth Chris to celebrate our wedding anniversary as it is located across from the Mirage where we had tickets to a 7PM Beatles LOVE show and needed a quick walk following dinner to get there in time. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the Mirage lobby so nice and easy. Highly recommend!!!!

We are in Vegas for our anniversary

By Barbara C |

We are in Vegas for our anniversary and decided to visit Ruth’s Cris for the first time ever. Sean is our waiter. If you don’t look at him and just listen to his voice he sounds like a late night am radio host from the 60’s. Wolf man Jack type voice. He takes really good care of us with the very best steak we have ever had! We told him it was our anniversary so he had the guys in back fix a special desert for us. I can’t brag enough on Sean and the quality of the food!

Outrageous pricing

By David S |

Ruth Chris Las Vegas should be ashamed. Not only are their prices 20-50% higher than their competitors (Capital Grille), they are 20-50% higher than their own restaurants in IL. My wife and I will never visit them in Las Vegas again. We didn’t come to get raped financially.

Amazing Ribeye

By Rich807 |

Best (most tender) ribeye I’ve ever had. Caesar salad was extremely good. Filet was good. Asparagus was good. We didn’t care a ton for the flavor of the lobster bisque or the creamed spinach, but both tasted fresh. Minus .5 for not acknowledging we were there on a special occasion. Minus .5 for charging for a window ‘view’. Our view was vagrants doing what looked like drugs & drug deals between Harrahs & the Linq. Not sure how one gets the few better view tables but we didn’t. All in all a fine overall experience. Pro Tip: The multi course meal deal is actually a good value. We took home tons of food. If you’re hotel’ing it & don’t have place for leftovers I’d consider sharing instead of wasting food you paid for.

Disappointed

By Tor L |

Disappointed. Expensive. Food was average. Nothing special. Service was ok. Location was through the kitchen because the elevator was closed.

My experience at Ruth Chris Steakhouse

By richard a |

Ruth Chris Restaurants have the best steaks in the business, I’ve eaten in almost all of them, the steaks are perfectly cooked and incredibly savory and succulent, don’t know what they do to them, but it’s the perfect steak to enjoy, full of flavor and perfectly aged. The restaurant is very nicely laid out, giving you a great atmosphere. You really can’t go wrong choosing this restaurant.

Unbelievable they raised prices even more!

Just when you thought it could not get any more expensive, it did!!! Last month the rib eye steak was $75. Tonight it was $90. Glass of wine $25. Now, do not get me wrong, the steak was excellent, but come on. So, this is our last visit to Ruth’s Chris. We have been frequent customers, but we just cannot justify spending this kind of money. We are not on an expense account and that seems like the clientele they are trying to gouge.

Unfortunate

By twostate |

Ruth Chris has lost its panache. It used to be a go to steak house now it is poor value run of the mill...RC used to start meal with real special baked bread with various butter...Now stale roll.RC used to serve a reasonably priced aged steak now over priced did I say really over priced not such great steak I think because Harrah was taken over by Caesar they can charge Caesar prices problem is you have to have quality and ambiance RC doesnt have it.

Fabulous!

This was an unbelievable experience. Service was A plus! Everything was prepared exactly as asked and served beautifully. The environment and calming and quiet and made a great setting. Would definitely recommend to others.

Loved it

Not inexpensive, but worth the expense. The steak and side dishes were excellent and more than ample. Service was top notch. Can't offer any advice for improvement.

Our waiter Sean made our experience amazing! GREAT service and GREAT food. Would highly recommend! We will be asking specifically for Sean to serve us again during our next visit! Thank you for making our night even more special!

I stopped in here at night and sat at the bar. I had a salad wedge and then the seafood tower. It was a great meal and extremely filling. The bartenders were great.

Great Tasting Food!

By supergirl39 |

We've eaten here a few times when we are at Harrah's. We always get a window table so we can watch what is happening on the Las Vegas Strip as we eat. The food is wonderful! If you are hungry they have a "tasting menu" that has quite alot for the price. The rib steak is very tender and cooked exactly how you want it. The barbecue prawns on mashed potatoes are to die for and is my new favorite main course. The service is impeccable. My husband had a stroke and they even cut up his steak for him so I didn't have to. That was a treat. We go there for dinner almost every trip now.

Always 🔝quality

By Ricchio |

The place is quite dark as most of the steakhouses here, I did not like so much the internal furniture but the quality of the food was amazing

Great even late!

By K K |

We arrived about 9:30pm, minutes before they closed. We never felt rushed and the food was fantastic. We had the small, cold seafood tower, it was very big and had jumbo shrimp, lump blue crab, lobster tail, and king crab legs and all were easily accessible (no cracker required) it was accompanied by some wonderful sauces and we did ask and receive warm butter. We could have just had that. But we were smart enough to split one of their 3 course meals and choose the lobster bisque, 16oz ribeye, potatoes au gratin, and small dark chocolate cheesecake. Everything was melt in our mouth good and kept us eating, even probably when we shouldn't have! If you are in Vegas this should be on your culinary list, the restaurant is above the strip with wonderful views and intimate surroundings and no noise from the casino below. Worth your time in money for sure!

Quality

Never disappoints. I had the filet as usual. Cooked to perfection. The lobster Mac and cheese and the sweet potato casserole and all very tasty

Mixed Meal

By SinissippiBadger |

We went to Ruth's Chris Steak House the week prior to Christmas 2022 for a special couple getaway in Vegas. The atmosphere is romantic and high end. The service was top notch. We ordered an appetizer of calamari which was exceptionally good. We also ordered Caesar salads which were fresh and very tasty. For a main course, my wife ordered the lobster and garlic mashed potatoes and I ordered the Ribeye with loaded baked potato. My wife said that her lobster/mashed potatoes were excellent - I wished I was as lucky. The potato was average and the Ribeye was dry and tough. The texture was more like a sirloin or a low grade New York Strip. Every restaurant has a bad day so next time we go to Vegas, we'll give them another chance - I just won't order the Ribeye again.

Never disappointed at RC!

By Frequent Travelers |

We have eaten at many RC locations around the country because we have never been disappointed. We always get the filet and it is always amazing. I do not go to RC for fish, chicken, etc... that's why it is called Ruth's Chris STEAK House. If I want to eat that stuff, I will go to a place known for fish or chicken! Sides are always excellent (sweet potato casserole OMG) and the desserts are always decadent. Outstanding bar and waitstaff service as well. This location features tables along the windows looking out at the strip traffic going by. I had a filet the next evening at Hell's Kitchen and it wasn't even close... RC with the win by a mile. Ignore the folks complaining about their fish or chicken... go and order a beautiful sizzling filet and enjoy!

Don’t waste your money here

By Ronald V |

I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday during our trip to Vegas. We came here upon her suggestion because she went to see the Donny Osmond show right inside Harrahs casino so it was convenient. First off this place was an absolute ripoff. By the time we were done our bill was $270 for the 2 of us for average at best steaks, and we got the 3 course menu. The Caesar salad I had was very good & my GF had the gumbo soup which was just ok, nothing special. I had the ribeye & she had the smaller filet. My steak was swimming in butter & grease because of the fat on my steak. Dessert was a small piece of raspberry cheesecake. I wasn’t impressed at all for a place that supposedly has such a great rep. Oh yeah and $20 for each cocktail regardless of what it is!?? Suffice to say we will not be back to this place. I’ve been to 1 other Ruth’s Chris steakhouse in the past and I remember it being better than this. I guess it must be the Vegas atmosphere 🙄

Quality and service not commensurate with price.

By Rick S |

1st and last time for me at Ruth's Chris. Celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The waiter got my order wrong and I had to wait for my steak while all the others were eating. The manager (Steve Lazar) came by, looked at them, and asked them how everything was, made no comment to me regarding the mix up. The waiter came back and apologized again,, and I asked for another cocktail (since I had sit and wait while my party ate). They did bring the correct steak quickly but it was medium rare, not medium as ordered. They cooked it more, it came back charred but tolerable. I was compted by being charged for the steak and not the 3 course meal. Surprised I was not compted for the cocktail. Worst $500 I ever spent.

Favorite steakhouse

By Lori F |

Ruth’s Chris never fails to deliver. Darcel was amazing. She promptly took my order, frequently checked back if I needed anything and even brought me my scooter at the end of the meal. The filet Mignon was cooked to perfection as always, which I had with a baked potato. The plates come out sizzling so do not touch! Be aware if you order your steak well, the 500 degree plate will continue to cook the steak. Highly recommend Ruth’s Chris to every steak lover.

Disappointed!

By normanf230 |

I have visited Ruth's Chris Steak Houses in other cities and have always been impressed. The one in Harrah's failed to meet those expectations. Staff was laxidasical, food was good but not exceptional, and prices were Ok for a top end steak house which this one isn't. Will not return.

Delicious Food, Average Service and Decor

By rjpontour |

We dined here on our honeymoon before a show. It was pretty busy, but with a few empty tables by the window we asked if we could be seated there and were shocked to be told they charge for it, $10 each!! I remarked that given the whole place needs a makeover they should be paying us and certainly not charging for us to look at other Vegas sights on our honeymoon! They comped this, I think to keep the peace! Having tried one on our honeymoon in June in San Diego which had been totally amazing from start to finish this was not as good. The food was excellent however, and their bread pudding dessert was so good we shared two. Overall a good meal, but as some other reviews have shown, the board need to intervene and tidy this location up and drop the ridiculous sitting by the window charge.

Amazing view and food!

By Christy M |

While visiting Vegas we stopped here. We sat at a window seat with a great view. Service was excellent and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!

The food was delicious, as expected. I recommend the crab cakes. The waitress was very pleasant as well.

Was Not Worth It

By Tony Phillips |

First time here and stay at Harrah's every trip, decided to go for friends 50th. Seriously, over priced... Server was awesome Jeff. However, steak 16oz ribeye was terrible bland no seasoning, could have done better at Denny's. Stuffed Mushrooms as apps, were forgotten than brought to table later cold. This Jeff did have comp off. But the entire wait for the steak was not worth the experience and cost. Lobster was ok.

Ruth’s Chris Restaurant Las Vegas is a definite “NO”

By AdventurousCouple |

My husband and I have dined at Ruth’s Chris in Beverly Hills, California and in Asheville, North Carolina, and had good experiences at both locations. This time we decided to dine at the Las Vegas location since we are now local residents. The Open Table app said that they only had a 4:30 pm time available, even though we preferred a later time. We accepted the 4:30 pm reservation because it appeared that they were really busy since there was no other time available. Once we arrived at close to 4:45 pm, because the restaurant is difficult to find at Harrah’s Hotel, the large restaurant was 95% empty, we were very surprised. We were escorted us to a small table in the back. We said we preferred a larger table by the window since it’s a huge restaurant and it was practically empty, the waitress said ok. She then came back 10 minutes later to tell us that our table was “reserved” for someone else. We suggested they seat the guests at the tables on either side of us, same location same window. She insisted on moving us away from window. We decided not to stay. My husband asked for the manager and let them know that they weren’t customer friendly. The manager said she’s sorry but the window tables have a $25 surcharge. That was the first time anyone mentioned an additional charge. We had to laugh since the Formula One race happened several months ago and there was no longer any reason for the surcharge, especially since there’s really no view to speak of from the restaurant. During the time we spent there not a single additional guest entered the restaurant. We decided to take our business elsewhere, to a restaurant we frequent regularly that has delicious food and drinks, as well as great management by Shawn Norris, general manager at VIC & ANTHONY’S. He knows the art of keeping customers happy, which is of course the secret of their success. Needless to say, it’s no wonder Ruth’s Chris restaurant was nearly empty. Bad management decisions appears to have resulted in good paying customers preferring to just walk away. The management & staff had ample opportunity to retain a potential returning customer but they chose to alienate us instead.

Quiet Place; Excellent Steak

By Stormy |

Ruth’s Chris never disappoints. We ordered the ribeye and it was perfection. The Caesar salad was the best we’d ever tasted with just the right amount of dressing and generous slivers of Parmesan cheese. Highly recommend this place for those looking for a quiet place to enjoy a delicious steak dinner.

Wife’s birthday at Ruth’s Chris

By Doug |

My wife and I ate at Ruth’s Chris at Harrahs in Las Vegas for my wife’s birthday. The food was great and our server was even better, we really enjoyed the experience. Our server knew it was my wife’s birthday and he went over the top to make it a wonderful experience for her.

Ridiculously amazing

By Mark T |

Put in a reservation for 1 and was a bit early but got a table right away. Of course the view is amazing and part of the reason I choose a place like this vs the steakhouse at flamingo or PH (no view or even windows) thankfully the food is amazing too. The best steak I’ve ever had and the service was flawless (shout out to So Yon and her assistant!) they had a 3 course menu and the best $94 spent. Always my go to steakhouse!

Our Favorite Ruth’s Chris Location

By Dream67048966681 |

Always amazing… Reserved the window experience. Definitely worth it. They even made my favorite side dish (lyonnaise potatoes) on request which hasn’t been on the menu in years…

Average at the price.

By William E |

Dinner was good. It was quite expensive and restaurant located in lobby of the hotel. The bathroom was not well maintained. I brought it to the attention of the staff.

Anniversary Dinner

By ohen2015 |

One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The steak was perfect and the side dishes were wonderful. The location on the Vegas strip works great with how they control access by an elevator. Very friendly staff and our waiter, Hunter, was very attentive and made great recommendations. Finally, the dining atmosphere was comfortable with just enough formality to make is special. Would definitely recommend. A little more expensive than a typical restaurant but worth it for a special event such as an anniversary.

Happy Hour

By L J |

Great choice if you're looking for a deal. Happy Hour runs from 5-6 on weeknights in the bar area only. They have really nice deals on food and drinks. The wine was not a super great value, but the steak sandwich was basically a Filet on garlic bread with toppings and fries for $15. Service was very friendly, too.

Sad, empty place

By bardsf |

To repeat: As previously noted, these places are NOT all the same. This location falls short of the excellent but now closed San Francisco location, the Sacramento area locations, and the DC spot, but seems to be mis-managed along the same lines as the Walnut Creek spot was a few years ago. Our server, Johnny T., was great. He was of immense assistance with the menu and spent a few minutes trading fun stories with us. Plus, he's a Raiders' fan. The New York was a nice steak, but it was $70.95. That is a ridiculous price for a basic cut of meat. It was here that we also encountered that bizarre, new Vegas custom of two-tiny-tastes per table of wine. Rather than force wait staff to announce that, why not put that on the menu or wine list? "Our establishment wants to encourage you to experiment with new wines. We can offer two tastes per table complimentary, but must charge $2.00 per taste for each subsequent taste." Or something like that. I do suspect some people may have abused the taste thang, but a taste or two have guided us on many occasions in many places. But, again, I digress. Steakhouse salad at $17.95 pricey for lettuce, etc. I would order the side of cremini mushrooms again and again. The highlight of our meal. Interesting thing of which we were reminded: Restaurants, even in Vegas, remain hobbled by Covid. The pandemic's aftermath has created labor and management shortages and, in the case of this Ruth's, stripped the bar and cellar. No fernet branca. No Bordeaux. Much sadness. The place was dead. Several young couples ate near us but Ruth's was quiet -- too quiet. Where there should have been clinking and laughter, there was only a funeral-like quietude. I think Vegas old-timer restaurants like Ruth's need to offer happy hours and cater to more than the old-timer business client living on the business AMEX. Meh. -- Workingman's gourmand.

Not a thing could be improved

Pricey, but wonderful! Porterhouse for two best ever! Split veggies. White chocolate cheesecake is to die for. Brought home enough for another meal.

We love Ruth Chris Las Vegas!

By sugarbeach |

Everytime we visit Las Vegas, which is at least once every year, we always have a dinner at Ruth's Chris at Harrahs. We always ask for a booth with a beautiful view of the strip and Caesars Palace all lit up in front of us. This visit we had Andy who was our server the last time we were here. Andy is amazing, always so kind and pleasant. Our food was excellent as usual. I started with the Shrimp Cocktail and my husband had the lobster bisque. We shared a bone in Rib eye and an order of asparagus on the side. Absolutely delicious. It was our anniversary and Andy presented us with a lovely chocolate dessert on the house! Not expected at all but so lovely. Andy-thank you once again for making another dinner so special for us and we will be back next August! I will be wearing the same purple sequin dress(Harrah's Colours)!!! We Love Ruth's Chris Las Vegas!

DISAPPOINTED IN THE VALUE

By larrydewar |

I was in Vegas with a few buddies and we decide to have a High End Steak dinner last Sunday. We made a reservation and came on time........ we waited a few minutes and got seated in at a premium window seat Thank you. We had an awesome Black Russian to start, with fresh bread. The Caesar salad was OK but for $17.00 I was expecting it to be tossed at the table / with fresh dressing. We ordered some potatoes to share they were OK. The Petite Filet was very good and comes on a 500 F plate but the plate had 3/16 inch of butter? or some kind of cooking oil ? it never got hard stayed liquidy..........I didn't like that ..... I wanted to order steak sauce but at $50 for a 8oz steak I thought I would show a little class just eat it as is. The waiter was a great guy but the dinner was $427.00 US YIKES

steak was good sides are terrible

I went for my bday dinner and was let down. Had reservation still waited an additional 30 minutes. Foods was not great tasted like hospital food.

Birthday Dinner

By jamespI7578IF |

My girlfriend took me to Ruth Chris for my birthday, I was impressed with the ambiance. I found it very elegant and upscale. Talking about wowing a date. The service was impeccable, Sean was very thorough and knowledgeable on the menu. His service required no direction and I never felt crowded or rushed yet it was like my thoughts were understood. The course(meal) transitioning was timely and smooth. Sean, thanks for your contribution to a Great Birthday!

Wonderful dinner

By Kathy C |

Loved this place. We ordered the 3 course dinner. It was excellent. Loved that they serve their steaks on plates that are super hot and stay hot throughout the meal. Excellent service. 5 stars all they way!

Have a great Ruth Chris steak at a discounted price starting at 5 pm, inside Harrah's casino. Take the elevator from the casino floor. Great view from there.

Celebrated my BFF’s birthday

By DivineDiva17 |

Celebrated my BFF’s birthday in December at this fine dining establishment. Excellent service from point of every to departure. Every seat is a good seat...we had a sampler including stufffed chicken breast, crab cake and filet mignon - ALL WERE DELISH...seasoned & cooked to perfection! It appeared to be too much food to consume in one meal; however we both ate every morsel. Cocktails were on point. It was a perfect diving experience.

Great service!

By Chelsea |

Hunter was our server and did a phenomenal job. The ambiance was perfect for our date night. You can smell the food from the moment you walked in to when you sat at the table. Our cocktails were made great and the food was AWESOME. We did the Bone-In NY Strip and the Bone-In Fillet. If you like medium rare, we’d suggest getting your steak rare because the plates cook your food as its being brought out. LOVE LOVE, we’ll be back. :)

Sea bass with pineapple be where

By Slot King Dream |

This place is OK never stand out to me the food is good at is minimum.... If you enjoy a steakhouse I wouldn't recommend this one but is your choice beware of the pineapple and sea bass O my God that is straight trash

Renovated but service horrendous

By che865 |

Dined here after making an online reservation which was easy and quick. The new interior is nice but I had never seen the interior before to provide a comparison. Had a nice table by the window with a strip view. We were seated north of the bar area. I would have preferred a seating more towards the main dining room which is South of the bar area. The food was mixed. The entrees - ribeye and lobster tail were good. The steak was served sizzling as expected. The asparagus side was horrendous and not properly grilled. Charred. The salad would not be recommended. Not sure where they are sourcing their produce but maybe it’s the 105 F heat. Service was poor a check in. Total confusion. Inept for a Ruth’s Chris. Service was for below. You feel like you are eating at a Harrah’s casino and not the professional service you would expect from Ruth. Disappointing.

Simply the best steak I’ve ever had across the world

By Jamie080979 |

I read that many people say it’s empty, and sad. Not quite sure, perhaps STK is more their taste. I’m there for the food. However, I enjoyed the setting, large ceilings so even if I gets busy it would t be loud. But Jonathan, amazing server and started with a cracking espresso martini, and a glass of the meimoi. I opted for the 3 course (Caesar salad / 11pz fillet (medium) / cheesecake). This is where it blew me away even more. The food was incredible. Simply incredible. I mean you can’t really get a salad wrong, but it was the best ever. Then the steak. I do seem to go overboard many times and I’ve probably been to over 100 restaurants and all the world for steaks, and not the cheap kind. This was the best I’ve ever had. It cut like knife through butter, sizzling on the 500 degree plate, perfectly cooked and every mouthful was heaven. I will be back and hopefully with more people to share how amazing this whole experience was. Not everyone can be pleased, and maybe the food was not for their liking, but it’s a steak house / restaurant. Not a nightclub. Stk is a louder vibe but it’s even more expensive and not as good (in my opinion) Well done Ruth’s Chris - and to Jonathan!

Maybe the best steaks in America

By CALVINC3C |

Fantastic Fantastic steakhouse, Everything on the menu was delicious from the filet mignon to the smaller fillets with shrimp and sides. Food was matched with superior service, ask for Darcel she will take great care of you.

Very disappointed

By K W |

Atmosphere was great! Service was great. Food was not good. My ribeye was tough and not much flavor. My wife had the fillet and it was not very good either. I dont mind paying a lot of money for a nice meal but i am very disappointed with this restaurant experience. I paid over $400.00 for 2 people. It should be better.

Great meal

By William R |

From start to finish one of the best meals we have ever had. Service was excellent and on time the Crab cakes delicious, NY Strip and Chilean Sea bass perfect. Coffee and desert topped it off. I've eaten at Abe and Louies, Smith and Wollensky and Ruth Chris Las Vegas measures up to both.

Great Steak but was it really 22oz?

By mongoman95 |

Sat in the bar area and we both ordered the 22oz ribeye and mashed potatos. Both were excellent but pricey and seemed smaller. We were both not full after cleaning our plates.

Great steak, great service.

By MarshalltownMan |

We went there for an anniversary. My petite filet was mouth watering delicious. They seated us by a window per our request. Matthew and Alfred were great. We go to a lot of nice restaurants, and this was some of the best service we’ve ever had. They finished with a complimentary desert with a happy anniversary message written on it.

Amazing Food Great Service BUT...

By Tom cip |

HOW MUCH ARE THE COCKTAILS? $27 martini?? Unless you ask you WON'T know because the drink prices aren't listed on the menu? ...the menu lists all the favorites BUT they don't have a price list...What's the secret? Why not tell us the price ahead of time? If I knew my martini was $27 I probably wouldn't have been so quick to order a 2nd one...Let's face it 90% of customers won't ask how much their favorite dinner cocktail is... mainly because you trust it's the "going rate"? Most restaurants charge $15-$18 for a martini but $27 is a slap in the face!!!! I'm sure they know that and that's why the prices aren't listed on their menu

Ruth's Chris Steak House

By EvanGuthrie |

This Ruth's Chris Steak House is a great place to go for delicious and well prepared steak and much more. I have been impressed with everything that they have available here. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here and have been impressed with their level of customer service.

Wonderful !

By baummy617 |

My mom & I celebrated her birthday in Las Vegas, and Ruth's Chris was our big dinner out. It was spectacular! The service was spot on. I had an issue with a bottle of wine, and they rectified the problem swiftly and professionally. The food was absolutely delicious! They even presented Mom with a birthday sweet. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience, and will surely return!

Dining for Dollars

By 778worldtraveler |

We have dined at this location in the past as well as other Ruth's over the years. The ambience is what draws us here as we had a table overlooking Caesar's at night through the twenty-foot tall windows. Stunning view. We were seated by a congenial maitre d' and introduced quickly to our server. Our before dinner cocktails were well poured, but $20 for a Manhattan and $18 for a Martini? Yikes! We don't eat as much as most Americans, so we decided to split a New York Strip. As a side dish, we ordered potatoes au gratin. We were warned that it is big enough for two which was O.K. with us. The steak was sublime and prepared perfectly to our taste as were the potatoes. We've eaten around a bit and Ruth's Chris never disappoints. We had drinks with our meal with a bottle of Bud ($11 ) and a glass of Moscado ($18 ). Now, we generally don't ask the price of a drink before ordering but this is certainly out of line. Our evening was topped off with a shared molten chocolate torte which was to die for. Our total bill, remember we shared a meal basically, was $246 including an 18% tip. This is a chain restaurant without a marquee chef's name out front. We certainly enjoyed the whole dining experience, but feel a little gouged with these prices. Welcome to Las Vegas.

Fake and fraud

By Eric F |

What is going on with Harrahs???? They offer you complimentary based on your play then charge you overpriced food anyways. I wasn't feeling good so I had the dinner delivered to my room, after losing $2500 this trip they give me $150 food comp and still bill it to my room. Come on guys. I'm going to start going to MGM , I have no choice here. It's total nonsense, then I get a huge runaround at checkout like it's my fault....So long Caesars Ent........find some other Suckers

Never again

By Tiziano Durante |

500$ for three people….the lobster bisque was un-eatable … wine (a bottle) arrived after the appetizers…our window table reservation was gone …. And in any case would have been 25$ each….you cannot ask this money just because it’s you…sorry

Like it never happened

By Wolfpackmom3 |

We had a reservation for 9:15. We were allowed entry at 9:15, not a minute before. Upstairs, there was a crowd of people. We were told to have a seat, we would be seated in a few minutes. I thought, we had a reservation. Huh. Ok. So, a few minutes turned into 10. So now, we're going on 9:30, with a restuarant that closes at 10. We had already looked at the menu on the website. Imagine our surprise when the menu at the table had prices $20 more! Instead of $8 for a caesar salad, it was now $16. Instead of $45 for NY strip, it was now $65! Really? The website has not kept up with the price gouging! Shame.

Crazy high price dinner on the strip.

By SMichaluk |

This Ruth Chris is too expensive! $48 for a glass of wine, come on. The service was great, and food was good, but $900 for 4 people?

Amazing dinner

By Tharley01 |

We had an amazing dinner. Steaks were cooked perfect as requested, the sides were delicious, and we had excellent service. I only wish we had been asked for our Caesar's Rewards card when we were seated to know that that we could earn points on our receipt when we paid. Excellent service.

Food was good but way over priced

By Karlyn H |

Our meals were good but not great. The quality didn't match the price. The server was very attentive. Felt a bit rushed. Restaurant was very nice and clean.

Over Priced Prison Food

By birdddurr |

Had the $72 Bone in Sirloin. Tasted like putting a bunch of "AA Batteries" in your mouth awash in melted butter. Not even Sizzler worthy. Had a comped coupon so did not make a stink. Staff friendly and attentive. Yet, the steak isn't worth $25 let alone $72. Creamed spinach was soupy and not good at all. Was too afraid to order a dessert after my disgust at their two signature dishes. A Strip Rip-Off. Go to Gallagher's in the NY NY or Adiamo's at The D for a much better steak and a much more reasonable price. You are paying for a Strip View of Traffic on Las Vegas Boulevard while eating. Not Worth It. AVOID!

Nice evening with friends

By MOTravelerken |

We ate at Ruth's Chris with a group of friends that we had just met and finished a 7 day tour with. We had a reservation and were seated fairly quickly with a party of 6. My only criticism was that we were there for over 2 hours. They seem to really take there time with the meal so if you are in a hurry, be aware. We were not in a hurry. I had the filet and it was ok, not great. We spent $200 for the meal for my wife and I. Overall, though, I was fairly happy with the experience.

Yes to us

By Draghignazzo |

Contrasting other reviews, we had a great dinner experience. Food was amazing and service was perfect: kind and attentive. Really we liked it a lot.

Terrible Experience for NYE!

By Brett |

We went on New Year's Eve. I called two month's ahead of time to secure a seat by the window so that we could watch all of the activity on the strip for New Year at midnight. Our reservation was for 9:30 and we were finally seated at 10:20. All good...we had a window...not a great window but hey....it was a window. We dined and drank a bit. Our meal part was done by 11:40. We thought we would enjoy the view with a drink or two. The whole place closed down. We asked if we could sit and watch and the waitress said sure. Then the drew the blinds over the windows so we couldn't see. We told her...they never went up . She said the manager went home with the key to the blinds and they couldn't go back up now. This place sucks. We travelled to Las Vegas from out of town to be totally disappointed for the main event. And to top it off we spent $600 to do that. Totally ruined our trip so the manager could get out for new years eve. If they had no intention of being open for midnight then why did they tell me it would be.

Good service and food!

By Hiromi M |

This is the first time we tried this location. Food was good as usual Ruth. Medium rare on fillet was excellent. Server was friendly and helpful!

Steak was good but burnt

By Renee B |

Very friendly staff and we were seated right away. My friend was celebrating a birthday and they gave her a card and cheesecake. The wine was great and the service. I got the ribeye medium well but it was a little on the burnt side. I scraped off the burnt part and it was flavorful. We had plans right after dinner so I didn’t send it back 1 bottle of Wine, 2 ribeyes, 2 sides came to $285

Big Disappointment

By Wandeczka |

We were so looking forward to a dinner at Ruth Chris in Las Vegas!!!! Our dinner in Honolulu was superb and we wanted the same dining experience in Vegas. Sadly it was terribly expensive and not up to the standard we were expecting. We had two filets and mashed potatoes and one glass of wine. The bill came to $350 Canadian and wasn’t worth 1/3 of the price. The waiter was very snooty and dismissive of us. He wouldn’t trust us to season our own steaks. Hubbys steak was ordered medium and came rare. The waiter seemed quite annoyed about sending the steak back to the kitchen for further cooking . We didn’t feel valued as customers. Sorry to say it has soured us on dining at Ruth Chris in the future.

HUNTER = THE MAN

By Evan H |

Amazing restaurant to eat at. Last minute change to our dine in time (running late) but they had no problem making sure our celebration of a birthday was taken care of. Window view! Hunter is the man!!! He was awesome and was very detailed about all specials and all food. Definitely made it a special day to remember.

No wonder ir was empty

By jodi a |

I am writing today to express my extreme disappointment with my experience at the Harrah's Las Vegas location. I dined at this location on the last night of my Vegas holiday on July 7th this year. We were greeted by a nearly empty restaurant at the time of our reservation of 7:30. We were escorted to a table as far away from the front as possible; a small table for 2 way in the back in a corner. I asked the hostess for a different table as this one was barely part of the restaurant. She grunted and turned around to lead us somewhere else, which ended up being a separate dining room. On the way there I noticed MANY empty tables near the window. I asked if we could sit there. She yelled at me "10 $ each". We didn’t understand what she meant or why she was yelling so we asked her to repeat. And again she yelled "10$ each. You want to sit there it's 10$ each". we were completely shocked that she would speak to us in such a disrespectful way. Having been to MANY fine dining restaurants in Vegas and elsewhere, we know that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable. For that matter, it would not have been acceptable at McDonalds. My dining companion wanted to leave but I felt that looking for another steakhouse at the last minute would not be easy as there were lineups outside all the good places. Also, I have always enjoyed Ruth's Chris on the many other occasions I have dined there (other locations). So we decided to stay but asked to speak to a manager to express our concerns/disgust with the way we were being treated. He promptly came over to our table, listened to what we had to say and then very dismissingly said "I’m sorry to hear that". what a disappointment. But it was our last night in Vegas and we were determined to make it work so we decided to stay. A decision that we came to regret once the food came. I ordered the rib steal for over $70 - it tasted like something from Outback - mediocre at best. The brussel sprouts and potatoes were bland and tasteless. My sister ordered the lamb which was the only good part of the meal. Our bill came to over 200$ and was not worth a fraction of that. On the way out, we stopped by the check-in desk and asked the hostess for her card and the card of the manager who blew us off so that I could follow up with head-office to express my displeasure. She went to get a card, and didn't come back, but instead sent the same manager who wanted to know "what we wanted this time". He gave us his card – Brian Murzyn- director of food and beverage. With the competition of good restaurants in Vegas, they should be doing whatever they can to make sure the customer feels welcome and satisfied. The experience has turned me off Ruth's Chris entirely

BIG Regrets

By FDCTravel |

I’ll start by saying that, no – I don’t consider Ruth Chris an upscale or fine dining establishment in any way, shape, or form. Ruth Chris was usually just a place I’d drop by to get a stuffed chicken + ahi tuna to-go for dinner when I lived in Cali, and it’s pretty run-of-the-mill, but I always found it reliable. I recently decided to try out this location (since I now live in Vegas), and boy, oh boy, what a disappointment. I got food poisoning. The shrimp and Ahi Tuna did me in. Pretty disappointing. Again, I don’t consider Ruth Chris upscale, but at the very least, they should not be serving bad or expired seafood at the prices they command. The rest of the food at this location is also pretty bland and leaves much to be desired. There is barely any flavor in any of their dishes here. I’d beware before eating here. I’ll never eat at a Ruth Chris restaurant ever again.

Simply the best.

Best Steak I have EVER had. And I'm married to a butcher lol. This restaurant while on the pricier side, is actually worth every cent. The service was outstanding! We loved our server, thank you :) The barbeque shrimp appetizer was one of the most delicious dishes I have ever had. We couldn't stop dipping our bread in that sauce, it is heavenly! My husband and I shared the cowboy ribeye and I cant even describe how insanely delicious it was, well balanced with the exterior crust and the juicy interior perfectly cooked and the butter just adds that extra oomph. I always have to season my food with salt and pepper, but not here! Everything was just seasoned perfectly! Shoutout to the lobster mac n cheese, and the wedge salad which were also perfect additions. A perfect meal, in a wonderful location, thank you.

Great beef Filet steaks, hotttt plates, impressive! Host was a Jerk!/Worse. Poor table at 5 pm that we waited for.

By Kevin |

The steak was excellent! The hot plates kept this hot during our entire meal. This is a great idea and impressive. Our server, Brock was attentive. Food was great overall. Problem was we got there when restaurant opened at 5pm (we were about 6th table to be seated) and the host (male) gave us one of the worst table in the WHOLE restaurant. I complained. They knew we were Diamond Plus with Caesars. They made us wait about 5 minutes before he came back. We got a better table but our view was still poor. We were dressed up about 95% more than most customers. Yes, we are 65. Shame on Host!!!! If we go there again, we will complain and so should YOU if you get a lousy table. The Asian Host was not friendly, acted like he did us a favor after he re-seated us from a poor table at 5 pm, not friendly, COLD, he knew we were Diamond Plus. Meal would have been higher-rated but he made us feel CHEAP, underserving, lower-class and worse. DISAPPOINTING! He needs a class in training to people normal, RESPECT and friendliness! We do not complain at meals. This experience for the price was disturbing.

DIVINE

We did not have reservations so we sat at the bar. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We ordered drinks and appetizers. We had shrimp cocktail and lobster macaroni and cheese with bread. The shrimp was the largest I have ever seen/eaten. Everything was so delicious!! I began to eat slower just to savor every bite! I ordered their house Merlot, but it was enjoyable as well! The servers behind the bar were kind, affable, professional and efficient. I will return to this fine establishment.

Great steak, nice view of the Strip.

By John R |

I’ve enjoyed steaks at other Ruth’s Chris locations, so I was certain this one would measure up. We were both very pleased with our choice. There are plenty of restaurants along the Strip. For a great steak, this has to be among the best. We started off with Tito’s vodka martinis - very well done. I started with lobster bisque. Very good with some big chunks of lobster. My partner enjoyed a shrimp cocktail. Not being huge eaters, we opted to split the 16oz ribeye. As per usual with Ruth’s Chris steak was served hot on a very hot platter. With the baked potato and cauliflower Au gratin it was plenty of food (actually a bit more than we needed). Steak was done perfectly. The sides were great. Enjoyed a glass of Cab Sauv. Sadly, no room for dessert. Our server, Hunter, was outstanding! If you are looking for a a great steak - look no further. We’ll definitely return on next trip to Vegas.

Missed the mark

Very pricey! Way too much food they kept offering to "box up." Who has a place for leftovers when staying in a hotel? Very chatty, "down home" waitress didn't fit the style of the restaurant, but she was trying to be nice. However, my husband finished his plate, which she noticed, but she didn't bother to pick it up. (a personal automatic thumbs down at any restaurant for me.) My salmon was a bit overdone. I would have been happier with half the food for half the price instead of wasting it. The sides were nicely prepared, asparagus and mushrooms. It was ok, not great. Not really worth the price of a week of groceries.

Aug 8th Trip & Anniversary Dinner

By Michael C |

Decided to have our 1st year Anniversary Dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House. Tina was our server and did an outstanding job. She was also our server when we had our wedding dinner here. Food was great as was the atmosphere and service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Birthday weekend.

By Dave Ootie |

First class meal that can’t be topped. Steak was perfect, great service staff. Awesome experience. Waitress was awesome.

Very disappointing!

By Chad W |

What happened to this place? It used to be the Range which had a vibrant atmosphere and was always full, but Ruth’s Chris took over and changed it and when we went on a Friday night in Vegas the place was 95% empty. The Range used to have a singer/piano player too sometimes. Please bring in a new restaurant because the location and views are prime. Ruth’s Chris is not prime.

This Ruth Chris Location is Top-notch

By derrickwg36 |

This Ruth Chris location is excellent! Entering the restaurant is a unique experience, you take an elevator to enter the restaurant, with a great view of the Las Vegas strip. My only issue with this visit was having to wait 20 minutes beyond my reservation time. I celebrated my birthday with friends and family during this visit, and the staff made the experience very special. I ordered the boneless ribeye, lobster mac-n-cheese, and brussel sprouts sautéed in bacon. The meal was amazing! I always enjoy how this restaurant finishes their steaks in butter. The staff provided me with a complimentary dessert and truly made my celebration special. I highly recommend this Ruth Chris location.

Superb!

By rjpontour |

Great location with fantastic views with easy access via the monorail from where we were staying off-strip. Everything was amazing and our steak ad lamb were cooked to perfection. The bread pudding is off the scale too. Excellent service as well.

Typical Ruth Chris

By NJTRAVELER4097 |

The food was just what you expect from Ruth Chris. Enjoyable, but you get an overpriced steak and sides. I think I would try a local steak house instead. But no complaint

Excellent Steak!!!!

By Marcia D |

We are avid customers of Ruth's Chris Steak House - all over the U.S. I like that their restaurants are all classy and yet individualized in each location. It makes it fun to visit them ALL! We've been to their Atlanta, Louisville, Philly, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Woodland Hill, Anaheim and Pasadena locations to name a few. One thing - ALL of them are EXCELLENT, wonderful food, great service, excellent wines. We LOVE Ruth's!!!

Steak dinner

By Kril59 |

Always like to have a steak dinner when J visit Vegas, so thus time tried Ruths chris steak house at Harrah s. First think electric menu in casino has no prices. Made a reservation but when arrived they could not find it, but luckily they could gut me in. Window table with nice view of the strip. Service from Jeff was excellent and I ordered 16oz ribeye medium with asparagus and potato with cream and cheese. Not too long before food arrived and it looked lovely. Steak was medium rare and not medium as requested , probably due to the fact the piece of meat was a thick brick shape. Potatoes and asparagus were good, but expensive. Member wine was good but not worth the $17 a glass. Ambience, service excellent, food good but for what I paid I prefer the BLT at Ballys.

Great food and Service!!

By Kayla B |

Our food was Exceptional and the service was even better!! Our Waiter Sean was so helpful with recommendations, answered our questions with great knowledge. His service was great, he was there refilling drinks and asking how he could help constantly. He also had a nice personality. At the end of our meal as we were talking he said he had only been there for 5 weeks, you would never know!! He was a natural. Definitely will be visiting this restaurant again when we are in town.

Expensive but delicious!

By Lion Katie |

Enjoyed a celebration here, the service was amazing and the food was excellent and the company was even better. It was a great memory.

Amazing food and service

By Brittaney L |

We enjoyed a birthday celebration and couldn’t help feel the love by the amazing service from Sean Shuemate and his partner Caroline. We not only will be back but know who to request for top notch service.

Photos added. Great food and service. Overpriced

By NitroDog |

Located at Harrah's on the Las Vegas Strip. My wife and I dined here for dinner with a reservation. We were seated immediately. We started with drinks and a bread basket. My wife ordered the Sea Bass on Sweet Potato Hash. I had the Mixed Grill, with a 4oz. fillet, crab cake and chicken breast. We also shared the Crimini Mushrooms and the Potatoes Au Gratin. The food and service were excellent. Management should be proud. The prices seem high for this restaurant. I added 11 photos of our visit.

Factory

By Paul M |

Excellent steak, lukewarm lobster bisque, big place and felt more like being processed than serviced, although my server from a personal point of view was excellent. I have been to Ruth's Christ steak in house in LA and HK and these felt much more like restaurants that justify the price.

I keep giving them another chance

By amycV4481JC |

I always go to Ruth’s Chris hoping for a better outcome. I think this is because I expect an expensive restaurant to be a top-notch experience. I should not have to ask for my water class to be filled. I think this is my last try.

Window Seat B.S.

By Islandmomma4ever |

We made a reservation for my birthday here on OpenTable and that included reserving a window seat which is $10 per person that is added to your bill. You check in downstairs and then take the elevator upstairs. Then checking in with the hostess Stephanie and letting her know what part of the window I would like to sit in to see the strip and letting her know it's my birthday. She says all of the window seats have a view of the strip and this is not true. So Stephanie I assume assigns the tables you get and guess where I was taken. To a very dark table at the very end of the windows where you see the Linq and none of the strip. I was so mad because there were plenty of tables open where I had requested. If someone is willing to pay for a widow seat ad you have plenty available why would you do that? Are they saving those for more important people? It really put a damper on my mood and quickly told the man seating us "No I'm not sitting there, that is not what I requested." We were then told to wait why he went to check with the table by the window boss Stephanie. Can you see me rolling my eyes here? Finally I got a table I was happy with and was willing to pay for. Why don't you use the less desirable tables by the window for people who have not made a specific request for a special occasion. The food was good and the service by our waitress was good but the hostess blatantly ignored my request for no reason. I will make sure if returning this does not happen again.

Better choices!!

By Phillip H |

I always enjoy going to Ruth's Chris but I am so disappointed in how management has decided to take FULL ADVANTAGE of the CARES ACT and not just by a little and what about the real small business owners you cheated $ from? How shameful!!!! Last time I eat one of your steaks!!

Great Meal

By MikeD4134 |

The service was over the top good. The Beef was cooked to perfection. The wine was very good, but $$$$.

dont waste your money

By sandy t |

We went there expecting our dinning experience to be great and it was NOT. The service itself was good but the food, actually one of the worst. Basically you get a $75.00 steak on a plate, no garnish, no seasoning, and actually its not even a dinner plate it is a small plat so you have to navigate even cutting your steak, which was soaked in oil and butter. The other entree that was ordered was a dried stuffed chicken for $45.00.....same size plate, then e got a appy skillet of side mushrooms for another $15.00, no seasoning, and a plate of mash potatoes plopped on another plate for another $15.00 once again ....zero presentation, all in all we dropped $450.00 for the three of us and will never return

Crap as usual

By CharlesXavier52 |

Plates WAAAY too hot, food overpriced, steaks meh, "family sides" , go somewhere else more about the name "ruths chris" well ruth and chris don't know anything about steaks

Great Service and Food

By Alexa G |

Sean provided the best service we have ever received in a restaurant. He was friendly, informative, and fast. He answered all of our questions and updated on timing of food and drinks coming every chance he got! We knew the food was good but the service made the experience even better!

Terrible customer service

By Luis C |

I had a reservation for 6 and even though I arrived on time with 4, the hostess would not sit us. I understand it is their policy to wait until the entire party arrives, but I decided to check with the Manager to see if they could accommodate us. The manager is called Robert and he was an absolute jerk - rude and talking to me like I was not worth his time. it is unbelievable how they are able to get away with this type of attitude. This guy should be fired and because of him I will never return to Ruth Chris. I was a fan of Ruth Chris until tonight.

Way overpriced

By Todd R |

I could have gotten a ribeye like this for $20 bucks. My wife’s filet seemed rotten. The lobster bisque seemed burnt and the lobster Mac and cheese was just Mac and cheese with a little of the bisque poured on top. It was my wife’s birthday and they didn’t even comp her desert on a $250 dinner bill. Very disappointed. Never eat at Ruth Chris again.

Another Great Steak

By ANR_78 |

We are fans of Ruth's Chris and try to stop in when visiting somewhere new. This location was a bit better than some but I would have preferred a different table. That said, the steak was good, the ambiance was good, and our experience was pleasurable. We arrived a little before our reservation and were seated promptly. Our server was good and the timing on the meal was spot-on! I'm can't say that I'd go back since there are so many options in Vegas but I can't say that I wouldn't either. I definitely recommend this location if you're in town and are looking for a nice steak dinner.

Best Steak I've Ever Had!

By FilmScoreComposer |

This restaurant is located right on the Las Vegas Strip inside Harrah's Casino/Hotel. You take a short ride up an elevator to get there. The view of the Las Vegas Strip is wonderful, as is the restaurant interior. But let's skip to the chase. The ribeye steak is out of this world. I like mine medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. So flavorful, and easy to chew. I had a savory loaded baked potato to go with, and shared a bottle of red wine with my family. Everything was so good. The service was top notch. It is an upscale restaurant. So no surprise, the price is high. But it's absolutely worth it for a special occasion. Highly recommended!

Birthday Dinner

By MackTyson559 |

Great food, steak was amazing, view was nice overlooking the strip, service was good. Definitely would eat here again. Ask for a table by the windows, best view in the building.

Expensive

By Dennis Atkinson |

Ruth Chris is located in the Harrah's Hotel/Casino. The service was fantastic --- but this place is expensive --- especially their wine list. I purchased a bottle of a Napa wine which at the winery is about $20 --- but Ruth Chris charged about $120 (ouch).

Steak was huge and delicious!

By DR_Gent |

I have been eating at Ruth Chris Steak huoses for over 30 year. Been a while this time but the food, atmosphere and service were excellent as always. Was disapointed in that they no longer carry the Veal chop which has always been my favorite.

Always amazing food

By Quinn W |

When I think of Ruth’s Chris of course steak is on the brain. However, I was talked into trying the stuffed chicken - totally amazing. Pair that with some of the sweet potatoes and it was a meal to remember!

Vegas steak

By bradleyj272 |

Had a wonderful meal with my wife at Ruth Chris. I had the fillet and wife had the ribeye, both were cooked perfectly. Our waiter and wait staff were outstanding. We would definitely return and hopefully have same waiter

Not up to the hype

By Raymond A |

Had dinner with my wife on our anniversary. 1st time. I had a signature rib eye. It was cooked as ordered, but the steak was not great. Expensive, but I've had much better elsewhere and for a lot less money. The bread was not fresh. The baked potato was excellent. The cheesecake was excellent. The service was good and the presentation and atmosphere were excellent. We paid extra for the window view of the traffic.
