great place, great food, fantastic for celeb spotting, did actually see one but couldnt remember his name, ask to be seated in a booth against the back wall and you can see everything that is going on. the waiter was a bit hit and miss and we waited a while before our drinks order was taken. when it all arrived, it was to die for. love this chain of restaurants and just wish we had them here in england. compared to english restaurants, this quality and quantity of food would cost you double over here so i always find the prices quite reasonable. cant wait to get out there again.

Love the Ruth's Chris franchise, have been to several across US. Booked here for dinner, lovely entrance and bar for drink before dinner...great start! Food is as always top quality, melt in mouth stuff. Waiting staff as always too were superb. Unfortunately that's where it ended. We ordered a cab to get home, and were assured three times it was coming by the manager and valet staff outside. Several people left during this time, and still we waited. Eventually we stood outside and called our hotel to get a cab to come pick us up. I know we were from Ireland and not top of the list, but felt very let down after great meal. Service can really ruin an evening, take care!

if you love steak, this is the place. however, you are charged separately for each side order so beware when the bill comes.

They never disappoint. Steaks are great, Fish is great. Service is excellent. This is a very comfortable restaurant and the staff are top notch.

Went on Sunday after Thanksgiving. Great steak cooked to our specifications, side dishes were okay. Wine was outstanding. Service by our server was good. Too pricey for non-special occasion.

I have found quite a bit of variety amongst Ruth's Chris steakhouses around the world. a few are good, some are very good, and others are excellent. this one is excellent. if you've been to any other Ruth's Chris, the menu here will be as expected. a good variety of steaks, half a dozen different cuts. also superb lamb loin chops, world class. and if you want chicken they have it, but why anybody would go to a steakhouse for chicken beat me. it is very expensive, especially because everything comes a la carte, it you want a potato with your pricey steak, it is extra. so is some broccoli. if you have an appetizer, a steak, a potato, veggies and dessert, you can run up quite a tab without even having a glass of wine.

I love Ruth's Chris and have been to many of their locations, but something is always off at the San Fernando Valley/Woodland Hills location. Once, the medium steak was medium-well and had to be sent back. Another time, we waited forever for our salads, and just as we took the second bite, our steaks and sides came out. The last time I went there with my in-laws, all four steaks came to the table at once; two were sizzling and two had been done for quite some time. We've been there about half a dozen times because the location is a mid-point, but their kitchen doesn't seem very organized compared to other Ruth's I've been to. If it's just for the two of us, we go to the Beverly Hills location, where the staff are veterans and the manager checks up on every table. I can't remember them ever making a mistake at BH.

This is what a steakhouse should be. Cool and dark interiors. Great service. Steaks cooked any way you like them. Huge cocktails and a great wine list. We eat here often and have never been dissappointed. We venture out once in a while to other high end steakhouses and they just don't ever seem to measure up.

Ruth's is a terrific steak...always has been. But we eat in the bar and are always get the terrific service from Cheryl and Jason and the rest of the crew. They make a great meal really special.

We have been there with our friends and our one-year-old child. The waiter brought us steak and extremely hot plates and put one of these plates just in front of my son telling me that it is hot. But he didn’t put the plate far from the kid, he didn’t ask me, where it is better for me to put it. He just said that it is hot. And of course my son touched it with his hand and got burned. When we asked for meds, they brought us two packs of gel with lidocaine and warning on it that it’s dangerous for kids!!!! So they have proposed poison for my son. We have tried to talk to manager but he didn’t look like he is involved, he was just trying to avoid us. One more thing. I’ve ordered chicken from CHILDREN’S MENU and it was served with black paper and was VERY spicy. Only after 30 minutes of arguing they agreed to exclude the kid’s food from our check.

We eat here several times a year. Mainly because it's festive and we don't always feel like driving into the city or over to the west side. It's expensive as most of you know I'm sure. I don't mind an expensive meal if the food is good. On this particular evening it was barely passable. The meat was undercooked and the macaroni and cheese with lobster was very dried out. Almost as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp too long. Instead of being creamy, it was crusty. They were not busy as it was Memorial Day weekend and most people were out of town. Yet they still sat my husband and I next to a large party of 8 with two noisey little kids. We asked to be moved and they accommodated us so that was nice. We have always found Ruth's Chris hit or miss. It's either excellent or average to mediocre.

Amazing food and service...!!!!!everything on time. Food was freshly made and the staff was very helpful to assist. The wiine selection was very well matched with the food which made our dining experience so special. thanks everyone that made my evening so special!!!

The food was very good. We had the filet and the lamb chops, both of which were very good and cooked exactly as requested. The chopped salad really wasn't chopped and not much to write home about. The crab stack appetizer though was very good. We were celebrating an anniversary and they did an excellent job of throwing in a couple of extras to make it a very nice evening. They have a private room for events, which if there is no event they seat people in that room for dinner. The ambiance of this room was 'night and day' compared to the main dining room. The main dining room was loud and a lot's of traffic which is likely fine for groups and families, but not ideal for a quiet dinner. So if there isn't an event going on definitely try to get in the private dining room!

Celebrated my husband's birthday at the restaurant. It was pretty wonderful. I made the reservation on line and indicated what we were celebrating. They called me back to verify the size of the part and the correct spelling of his name. We arrive a bit early but were accommodated immediately. A host led us to a nice table, but as my husband situated his jacket the host just let me stand there. I was a bit surprised that he didn't attempt or offer to assist me with my chair. The table was decorated with birthday confetti and a card from the restaurant. The really nice touch was the menu personalized to my husband and saying "Happy Birthday". The wait staff was initially very helpful and personable, but I have to say that the bus boy was way more attentive that anyone else. He noticed when our glasses were empty, when we were finished. He noticed that we sat for a very long time after the meal with the empty dishes sitting in front of us, no offer of dessert, no nothing. Our waitress really was nice, she just wasn't very attentive. Then, she committed the unpardonable sin. I paid with cash and she asked if I would need change back. I am always offended by that. Wait staff should always return all of the change and never assume the tip. Are people is such a hurry that they can't just bring the change back and let me tip as I see fit? That little inquiry caused a reduction in her tip....which we ended up adding to & gave it to the busboy. The food was incredible - perfect ribeye, creamed spinach & mushrooms. But this Ruth's Chris could used a little work on common courtesies. I've dined at the Myrtle Beach and Beverly Hills restaurants and have nothing but praise for the host and wait staff in those locations.

Great place. Service is excellence, so is the food. You will be spoiled ... ! Nice offer of wines as well.

A classic steak house. We are never disappointed at any Ruth's Chris restaurant we choose dine in. The Woodland Hills location was no exception. Impeccable service from the time we entered and continued throughout our meal. We enjoyed a delightful martini as a starter and a delicious Ruth's Chopped Salad. We selected the Chef's dinner special this evening which consisted of a 6oz. Filet and Two Cold Water Lobster tails. The filet was melt in your mouth and the lobster tails crisp and flavorful all at a reasonable price. .

With lots of great items on their happy hour menu, you might have to wait for a seat, but with dishes like: Spicy Lobster Appetizer, Ahi Tuna, and a great steak sandwich all for around $8 each... it's a good deal. Wait a while at the bar, get a drink and enjoy.

The cowboy steak is the best.

The steak here is the best I have ever had!!! The seasoning was superb! The service and atmosphere was fantastic and will definitely be coming back on my next visit.

My birthday dinner started with birthday wishes on everyones menus at our table. The service was top notch. The filet mignon, creamed spinach and shoestring fries were magnificent. Then I was treated to a fantastic bevy of desserts. This was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Thank you everyone at Ruth's Chris Steak House.

I love coming here. Its one of my favorite steak houses. The food is deeeelicious and the service is great. I love my filet well done, yes, i know its a no no, but that is why i go to steak houses, because they cook it perfectly. Even a couple of times they over cooked it, and the manager was quickly at my table apologizing and offering other free meals. Very accommodating. Plenty of parking.

Service, food and accompaniments all lived up to my expectations. steaks were fork tender. everything is a la carte. quiet enough for a business meeting

Steakhouse heaven with a class! Start w/ calamari w/ Thai surprise 22oz rib eye w/ lobster tail, lobster mac & cheese, grilled asparagus, finish w/ apple crumble - great Father's Day feast. Great ambiance, great service, great steakhouse.

We have been to this place many times over the years and it continues slipping in quality of food and service. Few times we've been waiting for over 30 minutes for a table and left, ending up going to another restaurant. Last time, we had to wait for 15 minutes to be seated while the restaurant was almost empty. Once seated, we've been offered the worst table in the room, so we had to ask for anther table in the more private location. The waiter was very strange also, unfriendly, not very professional and kept interrupting us during the order. The food is traditional, but the quality of meat is getting worse. We did not enjoy our dinner, and we will not be coming back.

Had dinner there last night. Although I find their steak one of the best their service has gone down hill. The appetizers were brought out practically one at a time so no one ate at the same time. My wife ordered extra salad dressing never came. Very unprofessional. My suggestion is that new local management is needed as their brand will suffer without the consistency a chain like this should have.

Of course the steaks were delicious and prepared as ordered. The roasted Brussels Sprouts were outstanding as was the potato stack. However, the shrimp dish was not appetizing. The BBQ shrimp were tasty but they were served on a bed of mashed potatoes which turned soupy when the sauce on the shrimp was on it. I really disliked it.

How do you review Ruth's Chris? From their start in New Orleans, they have replicated their large portion, top quality beef offerings (almost identically from what I can tell) all over North America. There is really nothing but good to say about the food, the flexibility of the offerings, the knowledge of the wait staff, the exactness of service and delivery, all top notch. My only complaint is that after paying top dollar for the meal, the 4x retail wine price is a little steep, particularly for non-special vintages of good names. Quality reds are generally too young. Be sure to reserve; this place is busy, and deservedly so.

My family and I have been to Ruth’s Chris in Maui and in Palm Desert. This was our first visit to the one in Woodland Hills and it did not disappoint. I had the petite filet which was melt-in-your-mouth delish!! We ordered sides of creamed spinach, potatoes augratin, crab cakes, and salads. A memorable meal with excellent and attentive service. We finished off our tasty dinner with sweet treats of creme brûlée and cheesecake. So rich and a perfect finish to a wonderful meal!! If you are in the San Fernando Valley Area or even in the greater Los Angeles area, I would definitely make this a visit if you are looking for an excellent steak dinner!

The attractive décor is where it ends. Nothing good about this steak emporium. I ordered a Filet Mignon with a couple of sides. My hand to heaven, the worst, toughest, inedible steak I ever had. Everything At RC is ala carte. The sides were good, but the steak was sent back to the kitchen and was replaced with another terrible, tough inedible steak again. I complained to the management and was given a complimentary $50 gift card for a future dinner. Unbelievable as it may sound, the second try was as bad as the first visit. Once again I sent the steak back and once again I was given another inedible piece or beef. My guest and I walked out.

This is a establishment defines the term steakhouse. The steaks are prepared to perfection. The side are equally delicious. Reservations are a must. The drinks are terrific. I would highly recommend!

its is our go to stake place right in our back yard. Usually everything is great but not this time. Our reservation was NOT honored on time, 15 minutes late! with the bimbo in the front telling us they are cleaning the table. No one cleans A table for 20 minutes, we came 5 minutes early. Why am I saying staff shortage it too our server good 10 minutes to address our table, only after our guest flagged down someone who appeared to be a managing member. The food was good as usual when it came to the stakes, but the kitchen screwed up the lamb. Give it one more try, but there are alternatives in this price range in the neighborhood.

Good steak place, and the meat is first class but dont order the seafood. They are a steak place. You will pay thru the nose for a great steak. I applaud their adherence to a dress code. No knuckleheads with baseball caps here.

Expensive! But a great great steak. Wonderful service, and great sides. So if you want to indulge, this is the place.

Lovely steaks, wine choices and desserts. Waiters that take care of yours needs without being asked. Make a reservation or prepare to wait a while.

Very nice option for Woodland Hills or Calabasa area. Consistent vale from Ruth Chris, top cuts, great wines and over the top service... the location of the Ruth's is a little odd, it's outside of an old mall that's getting ready to sunset - tear down. The only negative was the health inspection rating displayed on the entry door looked a bit third world for a Ruth Chris.

If you go here and don't get the filet mignon then you wasted your time and money and need to go again to order it.

If you are willing to eat in the bar, the food prices can not be beat. A steak sandwich with fries for only $11, with all the trimmings. The steak is about 6 ounces, really tender, and quite tasty. Service was really good, waiters were quite friendly, place was hopping, even for a Tuesday night, but were seated quickly and our food came shortly after we ordered.

This place is a great and dependable spot for terrific cuts of steak and wonderful sides. Its a bit expensive but worth it.

Our family went to dine in this restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 29th birthday. The entrance to this facility was not readily obvious due to its location at the back of a mall. The service was good and the steaks were diligently prepared to our specifications. Overall we were satisfied with the food served in this restaurant.

I've dined at numerous Ruth's Chris restaurants are the country and, up until now, they have been quite good. Their Woodland Hills location was the exception to the rule. The service was, at best, poor. The menus were tattered and dirty. The overall experience was underwhelming. In fact, the only thing that was on a par with other Ruth's Chris locations was the price,

Maybe it was the clientele—this is a Serious Steakhouse, and yet I was dismayed at the crowd (either loud and underdressed, or older and much older… neither demographic being particularly aspirational for my wife and me). RC can't do anything about that, though. Nor can they do much about this location, which is—how can one put this delicately?—smack dab in the middle of a terminally-ill mall. Give it a year and this is a deadmall. The decor seemed a little worn and dated, and that's something they *can* address, but it's relatively minor. With expectations (and prices!) high, though, these little details matter. The steak was typical high-end steakhouse stuff, prepared expertly and delicious. Side selection is surprisingly one-dimensional (the one dimension being starch). This strikes me as a more serious failing. All in all, if you're looking to spend money on an experience like this, you have other options. Go *all the way* old-school and check out one of the fine-quality, one-of-a-kind steakhouses close by. Or go the other direction and hit up a more modern, hipper place. I like Ruth's Chris—always have—but this location seems stuck in the mushy middle. Much of it isn't their fault, but times change. Successful franchises have to observe that. I'd give it 3.5 if it were allowed—it's better than "average"—but it just doesn't rate that fourth star for me.

The food was good, but Ruth's Chris in Virginia Beach, VA was better. The steak was the same great quality/taste, the other items were not up to the standard we have experienced at other Ruth's Chris locations, but it was still good. The mashed potatoes were not as flavorful, the asparagus was slightly overcooked and the lobster macaroni/cheese was just not as creamy as we have experienced at other locations. The service was good, but details are not up to our experience at other locations. We ordered bottled water, after filling our glasses, the partially full bottle was placed on our table, in Virginia it was placed in ice off the table. We had to refill our own glasses, this never happened at other locations. Our kids did not want sparkling water, so got regular water and their glasses were allowed to get empty before being refilled, again, something that was not allowed at other locations we have visited. While these issues are small, for the price and reputation of Ruth's Chris these details are the difference between very good and excellent. I would visit this location again, but I prefer other locations we have visited.

Awesome steaks full of flavor. Nice place......clean and all. A bit narrow set for my taste, but if you are in the mood for some awesome steak you have to try it at least one time. Personally, I love the Anaheim location. It is more spacious and the decor is much nicer. But you come here for the steaks.

Was there Monday 3/21 for our wedding anniversary. Not our first visit to this restaurant, have been going on and off for the past 10 years. This time the food was disappointing, disappointing enough that we will not be returning. My did not get what she ordered, and on the way home we all agreed that it was a nothing meal and not worth going back to.

The place is fully booked on weekends so trying to walk in might result with a long waiting at the entrance. The service was OK. We ordered three steaks (40$ each). The medium-rare arrived as medium and the medium arrived as medium-well. We also had two side dishes and a Bottle of wine (56$). All together: 207$ plus tip. Figure for yourself if it's of good value for your money.

We had such a great experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House-Woodland Hills. It was my husbands 5oth birthday and the reason why we decided to try it was because of all the pleasant comments that Mr. & Mrs. Ayala at Family upholstery had mentioned to us, about the great steaks and Ala-cart sides and their service. As soon as we got there we were seated immediately, we had exceptional time, service given by the waiter throughout the nigh. Food was superb, comfortable atmosphere. Definitely going back...

My girlfriend and I just celebrated our fifth year together by having dinner at Ruth's Chris in Woodland Hills. Its situated in the Westfield Mall which for the most part is completely closed so the neighborhood and mall are pretty dead, but once your inside the restaurant you'll appreciate the lively ambiance and tasteful decor. We have been this Ruth's Chris before for special occasions and it has never disappointed. Upon arriving we were greeted by the very friendly and promptly seated at our table. Our waitress Staci Hill greeted us with enthusiasm and was very attentive during our entire meal, with being overbearing which was greatly appreciated. We ordered a wedge salad to split to begin our dinner filled by petit filets with side of mushrooms and french fries. All arrived in a very reasonable time and tasted delicious. Staci even brought over a wonderfully unique butter bbq sauce which was decadent and delicious! The restaurant surprised us with a nice anniversary cake and even decorated our table with hearts and plastic happy anniversarys! Very thoughtful. Paul Lefton, the Manager, stopped by our table to ensure everything was good and we reassured him it was. We were thoroughly satisfied and as usual the food was stellar. We will definitely be returning.

Good steak place, and the meat is first class but dont order the seafood. They are a steak place. You will pay thru the nose for a great steak. I eat their tenderloin and it is 100% great and you should try it. I applaud their adherence to a dress code. No knuckleheads with baseball caps here. Coming back next time.

Steak was very good as was the spicy lobster appetizer, but this pace is not cheap. Service was also very good. I like bisque, but I found the lobster bisque to not be to my liking.

We went for our wedding anniversary, as is our custom. This was the first time to this particular location, and they made it special for us! Our waiter ZIN, was the BEST! He made it fun and memorable.... not to mention he was pretty good with the camera on MY phone! The food was perfect as expected. Could not have asked for a more perfect night out for our anniversary.

Ruth Chris famous enough for its steaks and this branch is no exception. Located close to the Marriott it makes a great night out in plush surroundings. Great service great food and excellent service. Takes a bit of finding although following the signs helps !!

I had the best filet I have ever had! Could not believe that it melted in my mouth! The side dishes were excellent. Servings are very large and we took food home! The crème brulee was also excellent. My only complaint is that it was super noisy. They should do something to absorb all of the noise so we could talk without shouting. They had anniversary table decorations. The wait staff took photos for us. Service was outstanding, my water glass was always full and empty plates were quietly removed. I definitely want to go back!

Everyone at the table was pleased with the delicious steak prepared to perfection! I have tried all the best but this is my favorite!

old but not old fashioned Steak/meat place. Many classics on the menue, nice seatings, good Service and perfect meat. Portions too big for me but super tasty.

My Husband & I traveled from MA for a visit. & chose the Woodland HIlls Ruth's Chris Steak House to celebrate our son's 30th birthday at. I could not have been more pleased with the experience. The interior of the restaurant is both elegant and cozy. The staff & service were impeccable. Our waiter, Zim, made the evening truly memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and made wonderful suggestions that added to our enjoyable experience.

I come with my family for my birthday every year beside many other times a year. I love my steak rare and they never get it wrong. My wife loves hers welldone and hers is always great too. We love the sides, sweet potatos, fried potatoes, mushrooms are always a favorite for us. The perfect drinks from the bar, consistent service are all dependable for us and makes my meal. If room for dessert, apple tart, or any of the baked goods are good.

Had dinner there last night and it was excellent. The service was extremely good and the food very tasty. You pay for what you get but it was beautifully cooked. The steaks came exactly how there we requested. All in all a very good meal which was a vaste improvement from our last visit. Thanks Jeff for looking after us so well.

It was a very pleasant evening with great service from Jeff and his team. The Steaks were cooked as requested and were extremely tasty. The whole experience was great.

We are in here at least once a week. Their happy hour (S-F) is fantastic with great portions with a super price! The bar is our favorite place even for a full course meal. Jason and Cheryl and the the rest of the crew are great! Jason and Cheryl always have a good review of their wines. They have quite a following!

If I can give more than 5 stars... I totally would!! The Service: The service is A+!!! I came on my birthday and the treatment is like VIP! The Food: the rib eye steak.... TO DIE FOR!! It is so tender and just melt in my mouth. I have the 32oz... yes, I said it. 32oz Rib Eye Steak for my birthday dinner!!!

My meal there was great. Service was excellent, ambiance just fine, and steak delicious

The food was fine - and those who had steak were very happy. The non- steak eaters were happy for the choices...there were lots of large parties which may have accounted for several long delays in the service - we had lots of side dishes and were sitting in a table covered with mostly empty dishes when we were finally asked if they could start clearing -- perhaps they were short on staff that night? Convenient valet parking is always a plus.

I work weeknights and find it hard to take my wife out for Valentines dinner. We made reservations (highly recommend) at Ruth's Chris Woodland Hills for Sunday night February 13'th instead. Our reservation hostess 'Courtney' was very pleasant and accommodating to our wants (my wife HAS to have a booth). I made these reservations in late January. Good thing because the place was packed out the door when we arrived at 6:00 PM. We were greeted by the General Manager 'Frank' , Bar Manager ''Elias', and our hostess 'Courtney'. We were promptly seated and assigned to 'Kay' our waitress. We ordered a nice red wine and the Calamari appetizer. The Calamari is perfectly done and is a little spicy. The house salad was next with ranch dressing. My wife had the New York Strip and I had the Rib eye for the main course. We also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and Broccoli Au-Gratin. The steaks were done perfectly and the side dishes hot. Dessert was Berries in cream (to die for). The meal was perfect and the surroundings great. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. We look forward for our next visit even though the drive is over an hour from our home. Entire meals start at around $40.00 and are worth every penny.

Great dinner, great service with Eduardo. I told him that I am a vegetarian and he, on his own, determined that the mushroom dish I ordered has a veal sauce on it. He gave my husband a selection of knives for his steak. We really appreciated those extra touches. We love this place!

We were a party of 6 celebrating a wedding anniversary, good health best friendship. NOTHING fell short of fantastic from the GM ( Frank), who picked an amazing server ( David) and support staff ( Gabe & others). The vibe, the food, the mood, the service were simply impeccable. We were a demanding table I tell you, but the staff just managed to put on a show of great smiles, welcoming attitudes and with the Best Chefs in the Valley - you go it made. This is by far the happiest Ruth Chris steakhouse I have ever dined in and certainly deserves to be the top steakhouses in SoCal. Thank you Frank, David and all the hard working teams in the Kitchen for an unforgettable night!! Sami & family & friends

If you want an exemplary meal in lovely surrounding, with great service Ruth's Chris Steak House is the BEST! Steaks, are done to perfection, salad and sides, no matter what your taste, are delicious. If you're looking for a great HAPPY HOUR try the Bar. Their hamburgers and fries are absolutely great. I get mine with an iced tea, but beers and drinks are always available.

This location and San Diego just don't know how to cook chicken / that's the only conclusion I can come to. I grew up in Woodland Hills and remember when this spot opened. I have come here several times and had the chicken issue, an issue with a server NEVER coming to our table (they apparently have some type of policy where they get like 1 minute from the time you sit down but mine never made an appearance!), management is iffy (they wanted to argue with me / "educate" me about the chicken, and in my experience the staff aren't properly trained about wines (I was told at one point that they have a sommelier on staff... then told they don't, then told they sometimes have a sommelier in). So ... all in all, I don't come here. I don't recommend it. And, despite the fact that I really love their sides and the chicken when it's cooked right, I do not give this place my business because it's been a headache for me too many times. I've had some similar issues in San Diego so I stick with the only location that hasn't let me down - la Quinta. It's gorgeous and service is very good. Most importantly - they know how to cook chicken! Hooray! We dined there last Easter and had a great experience. They also were much more knowledgeable about the wine and made some fabulous recommendations for our dinner!

We love this place. We live in Warner Center so it's close, the steaks are amazing and Cheryl and Jason are amazing bartenders! We always eat in the bar, much cozier than the dining room.

We have eaten here for years and find the management and entire staff superb. If you asked any of my grandsons what their favorite dining house was it would be Ruth's and they have eaten at all the steakhouses in LA. The berries and cream are out of this world.

A bit more expensive than lesser chop houses, but the drinks, caesar salad and steak make it all worth it. I have never been able to manage a dessert here- I am sure they are great too, Make a reservation- everybody loves Ruth's Chris.

Anyone familiar with the Warner Center area knows that there are several fine dining well-known restaurants in the immediate area, all with comparable menu items and pricing. We chose Ruth’s Chris this around since we had not eaten at this particular location and expected it to be as good as others we had visited previously. Although the food was good (but not great) there were some service challenges. First, one of the entrees was not what we ordered. It was missing twin lobster tails. When they rushed back with those, one was severely undercooked and had to be sent back. By the time the meal was fully corrected the other meal was half eaten and tepid trying to finish completely before the other could start. The manager did stop by the table to note that we did have an issue but that was it. Nothing was offered or reduced from the bill despite having spent about $300 for dinner for two. I don’t mind spending that for a special occasion but I do mind having mistakes made at my cost. Next time we’ll return to Morton’s just down the street where the food and service is far superior (see my separate review).

A nice bar and very friendly and hospitable staff make the entryway of this restaurant a setup for a lovely dinner. The menu is varied and applealing. The lamb was not up to par but, the seafood combinations satisfying. A wedge salad was not great but the calamari was very good. The deserts were sweet and tasty and the bread pudding should get a special callout. You can always count on Ruth Chris but this dining experience was just satisfactory. I would try another steakhouse next time.

Is Ruth’s Chris the best steak money can buy in the LA area? Maybe not, but I love the experience you get for your money. More than a decade ago, my wife and I had dinner at the RCS in Boca Raton virtually every Friday night for years, and we wanted to have our anniversary at a RCS this year for old times sake. We were not disappointed. The Woodland Hills store is exceptionally well managed with great care given to making guests feel welcome and special. Having booked our table on Open Table, I took the opportunity to indicate that we were celebrating an anniversary. I wasn’t quite sure what they had in mind when they asked my spouse’s name when they called to confirm, but when we arrived, we were presented with customized menus with our names and Happy Anniversary printed on them. They also had some celebratory items on the table. It felt so nice to be acknowledged in this way, and it added a very special feeling to the whole evening. The cocktails and fresh, hot bread and butter were as good as I remember and well worth enjoying, even though we tend to avoid carb rich foods unless they’re really special. We wanted to order our favorites so we got the Tomahawk Ribeye for two, along with a wedge salad and our favorite sides, the sweet potato soufflé and creamed spinach. Everything was delicious, though the tomahawk came out underdone. They could not have handled the situation better, not only refinishing the steak properly, but bringing out duplicate fresh, hot sides when the steak was finally done. The service was professional, friendly and helpful without being cloying or officious, and the manager comped our salad and sides to make up for the temp problem with the steak. They also brought out a complimentary cake and candle and two glasses of champagne to round out the evening. Things occasionally go wrong with meals and how the problem is handled means everything to me. Their response was pitch perfect, and instead of diminishing the evening, it was a complete non-issue because of the manager and waiter’s handling, and I left feeling more valued and cared for than had everything been perfect. That’s amazing. In a world where real customer service is so rare, it meant the world to me to feel like a valued guest and I look forward to many special occasions with them in the future. Thank you for a lovely evening RCS! Bravo.

This is not the first time here but it is special enough to review with the highest recommendation. The steak and the side dishes are all mouthwatering, hot and served precisely on time. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic. The service is escellent.

Have been waiting years to eat at a Ruth's Chris, and it didn't disappoint. Went there to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. They were waiting for us with personalized menus, and table decorations. Filet's were to die for, and the salads and side dishes were excellent. Food was very hot, and the proportions were just right. We received a complimentary dessert and a free photograph. Would return without question for another special occasion.

This is a very good steak house. I really like the booth seating as it is possible to have a conversation.

Dined here many times. As good a steak house as you will find. They are able to handle huge crowds. We last went there on Father's Day and the service was incredible. The steak comes out exactly as ordered. There is an ample selection of food for people who do not want steak or meat. Ample parking for those who do not want to utilize the valet parking. Quite expensive but worth it especially for celebrating special occasions.

Love the happy hour in Woodland Hills establishment, especially the prime burger. Happy hour lasts all day on Sunday and Monday, so I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a great atmosphere, wonderful service, and great prices for quality.

I went to a charity lunch here this month... largely because it was at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, and a friend invited me to support her cause. The service, and attitudes of the servers, was appalling! The place was freezing cold. When I asked one of the staff if they could lower the blast of air blowing on us, she replied that it would get very warm when the sizzling plates were brought in... which was nearly one hour later. Another guest spoke to a different staff member about the cold and was advised to go get a cup of self serve coffee to warm herself up. Meanwhile, all-around us ladies were putting on coats, sweaters, whatever they had to try to warm up. Two had napkins across their necks!! Our table of 6 had 3 waters and no iced teas when we arrived. We asked for more waters and several iced teas. The water came 20 minutes later... No iced teas ever appeared! 5, of the 6, had ordered steak. 1 ordered chicken. Her chicken arrived, and 25 minutes later, our steaks came. She had finished eating in solitary splendor, without any of the sides, potatoes and broccoli, that were supposed to accompany her meal. There is NO excuse for this! They knew how many were coming, orders were placed well ahead of time, there were no surprises. Shame on Ruth's Chris. (BTW, when the food came, it WAS good. Good food, despicable service!!!

We went there for stake and it was not bad at all. Service was excellent. Stake was a good piece. All in all we enjoyed it very much. One suggestion: remember the prices of the items you ordered, or check the bill against the menu to avoid confusion and/or over charged.

We were part of a group of 12 people celebrating a friend's 50th birthday. The food was very good but I felt it was overpriced for what I got. Service was adequate for a large group. We enjoyed the side dishes as the portions were large enough for sharing. It was very noisy, very crowded and not conducive for a romantic dinner for two evening. Not the type of place we would go on a regular basis.

We recently celebrated our anniversary dinner here. My wife and I shared a massive 40 oz Porter house steak. It was absolutely delicious!

Enjoyed the Steak...They do "Medium well" excellently. Good selection of wine too. Service likewise good. I like the "personal" set up of the place- gives a chance to converse properly without the rowdiness

Awesome ribeye, wife loved her lobster. So good we went back 3-4 days later, but out of lobster. It was $200 + for a family of 5 but very good food.

We have eaten at Ruth's Chris multiple times. Although good, it is not nearly as good as their reputation and prices would suggest. I have had better steaks at places with much lower ratings (and prices). On our most recent visit, we took a friend and her husband for her birthday dinner - both complained afterwards that their dinner wasn't all that good (as a positive note, my steak was the best I have had at a Ruth's Chris).

Went to a catered birthday party at Ruth Chris. The food was mediocre (incl. the steak). The service was very slow.

Outstanding selection of steaks that can't get any better. If you are a "meat" eater, this is the place. The sweet potato souffle is wonderful. Sweet, but delicious.

A completely wheelchair accessible restaurant. They were helpful and supportive. Once seated they took my mobility aid away and returned it when I needed to use the restroom. The meal was outstanding but, I thought, very expensive. We had starter, main and a small dessert for $55.

Oh my they have the best steak just melt in your mouth alittle pricey but worth the food.

The filet mignon special is a great meal and you get a fairly decent price too. You start with a salad and outstanding warm bread. Then you can choose either an 11 oz. filet or a 6 oz. filet and lobster tail. Also, a baked potato. Save room for dessert. I got creme brûlée. My buddy got strawberry shortcake. About $68 each.(couple of upgrades were charged) A delicious meal!

I went with a close friend to celebrate my birthday. I was welcomed by name, birthday decorations were sprinkled on the table, birthday souvenir menus were given and the meal was topped off with a plate of dessert samples with my name written in chocolate on the plate. Made it a very special celebration. My friend had the salmon and I had the lamb chops. Will order those again when I return.

We went for happy hour and was not disappointed the drinks were great and we had the seared tuna one of the best we ever had .So we decided to have dinner I had the 14oz rib eye cooked to perfection my wife the scallops which she loved when back in LA we will be back to this location the staff A-plus

This place consistently stays classy and delicious. The service is outstanding. Their meat quality is excellent. We totally enjoyed the ambiance and mood. The porter steak we ordered was so tasty and tender.

Ruth's has been, in my opinion, the most consistently good chain steakhouse in the country for the past few decades. It always delivers.

Excellent steaks ! Similar to Arnie Morton's Steakhouse in quality. Beautiful interior with wonderful service. However, like Arnie Mortons, expect to pay extremely high prices

OMG! My most favorite steakhouse. It's expensive but worth it!

Food is always prepared to perfection. Wait service is excellent, but the hostess is really a big let down. Not friendly or helpful in any way. Get past her and you will have an excellent meal. 5 Stars for the restaurant and NO stars for the hostess.

Family tradition to go to Ruth's Chris for big events regardless of the location in the USA. This place is to be avoided. Rundown and dark. Inexperienced waiter who tried to tell us that due to "covid" the only bottles of wine were on the daily sheet. Finally got a supervisor to find us a couple of bottles of nicer wine. Poor timing and delivery of the meal. No shoe string potatoes although the lobster mac was good. A couple of us had cocktails instead of dessert and even the cocktails were poor.

We decided at the last minute to have an early dinner at Ruth Chris in Woodland Hills. They were very accommodating and seated us right away. They have a new drink menu and there were many choices. I would have liked to try more but that was impossible! From the appetizers to the main course, the food was delicious. You can never go wrong going to this restaurant.

I hadn't been to Ruth's Chris for years, because, frankly, it's pricey. On a recent special occasion, I was treated to a wonderful dining experience there. All the staff, from the host to the servers, was top-notch. They treated us like ours was the only table in the place, which, obviously, wasn't the case because they were very busy on a Friday night. Delicious bread arrived quickly, as did our beverages. We enjoyed sharing our crab cake appetizers. I ordered the chopped salad, which is delicious. Then our entrees arrived, the filet mignon, each cooked perfectly. We ordered sides of potatoes au gratin and asparagus with hollandaise sauce on the side to share. All excellent! Then dessert! My crème brulee with fruit was fabulous, as were the bread pudding, cheesecake and fresh fruit with cream ordered by my dining companions. The portions were enormous. I was able to bring home a take-out bag filled with enough to enjoy two more meals at home! Prepare to spend some big bucks at Ruth's Chris, as the only thing that comes with the entrée is the meat. Everything else is "sold separately". But, in spite of that, Ruth's Chris was still an amazing dinner!

An extremely delightful experience! The wait staff couldn’t be more helpful or accommodating. Always on the spot when you need them, but not pushy or overbearing. Our on-line reservation was honored promptly with no waiting! The table was well-prepared, and the menus, expansive. The steaks (which is why we chose this restaurant for our special occasion) were done to a turn; perfect in every aspect. The seared scallops were a decidedly decadent delicacy. The recommended side dishes were tasty in the extreme (best mushrooms we’ve ever had!). What we enjoyed almost more that the food was the timing of the course delivery: the wait for the salad course was almost perfect, and the delivery of the main entrees was just as expected – didn’t overlap the salad course, and yet wasn’t delayed so long that it became a drag. We took full advantage of the daily special, which was an excellent choice and very reasonably priced. This is definitely a keeper. We intend to frequent this fine establishment again and again!!!

in my opinion better than Fleming;s, Morton's, ...don't know about Mastro's (never been)....if you order fish you need to see a psychiatrist!

If you want a steak this is the place...and their bar food and happy hour rock! Go see Cheryl and Jason in the bar first chance you get.

My wife and I like to dine out, but we don't always feel like eating an entire meal. We have found the perfect solution by going to the many 'happy hours' offered at local establishments. Ruth's Chris in Woodland Hills has been our favorite for several years now. Judging by recent crowds, it has become a local favorite for many others, as well. Comfortable booth seating, well crafted martinis, and delicious small bites satisfy our appetites and our wallet. We often combine the 'happy hour' menu with selections from the regular appetizer menu when we want to change things up. I believe they serve the best steak in the Valley, and the service is always friendly. Go early, though, if you want a seat.

The service and food were wonderful! Everything was perfect! The drinks were divine, the steaks not overly buttered, and the lobster add on specials just made it soooo much better!

The bad: We were 5 people and a baby in a stroller. The restaurant would only seat us outside. We were fine with this, until we saw the outside space. It sits right off the parking lot and is COMPLETELY unadorned. It looks like a cheap pop-up tent. Our waiter was obsequious, nearly hysterical about warning us that the plates are hot, and totally lacking in tact. Unbelievably, he announced that he knew a member of our party was celebrating a birthday and that he would bring bread pudding at the end of the meal. Who does that. The birthday being celebrated was in a few weeks, but we would not be able to celebrate together on the actual day. The celebrant had NO idea we were going to celebrate his birthday. He thought we were simply eating together. The server completely ruined the surprise. Last negative : Once the server understood we were not planning on ordering dessert, his attitude became decisively cooler. He was clearly displeased. Now for the good: The food, with the exception of the creamed spinach and macaroni & cheese with lobster, was very good. We ordered salmon, bass and beef fillet. We also ordered several side dishes, all of which, except as already noted, were tasty. Our bill, with a 20% tip, came to $550. I wouldn't complain, but for that sum, I expect good food in a great atmosphere.

Bring your wallet or credit card. The food is great but quite expensive. If you want the very best, and are willing to pay for it, this is the place for you.

Perhaps copying Mastros, there is now a gorgeous seafood pyramid on ice. Everything was extremely fresh and light. Two sauces (cocktail and Russian) were tasty. The lobster bisque was excellent. Black cod was very good, not outstanding. New mushroom side is better than button mushrooms from the past. Complimentary dessert and customized menu for special occasion.

Our family has loved going to this restaurant in the past. Wonderful venue as it’s close to the beach and beautiful weather. However, this time we celebrated birthday and Valentine’s Day and service was not as expected for such a wonderful restaurant. We waited 15 minutes for bread and water to be served, had wine spilled in our sons shirt and jacket, and had to ask multiple times for amenities, such as refilling, water, and more bread. I sent a short message fir feedback to the general manager, but never heard back. Sad to see service going by the wayside, particularly at a restaurant touted to be of such caliber.

Having enjoyed the excellent food at other Ruth Chris around the country I knew my family would enjoy the experience. Arriving with reservations for seven people on a busy Saturday night I was concerned when 3 more people appeared in our party after we were seated. Our server Ms. Neves and the manager Mr. Martinez came to our rescue. Within minutes these two people coordinated with the other staff members to acquire a larger table on very hectic Saturday night's main dining hours. People who have experienced Ruth Chris always come back for the excellent food, however the service at this location goes above the reputation of this fine restaurant chain.

This is a must go restaurant in Los Angeles. Nice cuts with great cooking they give you the best memmories on your meat experience.

We were treating to good service, and a good value by using the pre fixe menu. The menu including steak or seafood selection, and salad or soup and desert for $34.99. There is also an option for larger portions. Ambience was good, and inexpensive municipal parking a few feet away will save you a few dollars over the valet. Steak was good and cooked too specification (rare with a warm center). Waitress didn't over-sell the wine. Restaurant was comfortably full, without being overcrowded. Lighting was just slightly too dim, but acceptable.

I love coming to RuthChris for dinner. It doesn't matter who we treat to this place or when we come. It's always excellent service from the waiter to their helpers and the food is most excellent too, the hubby loves their rib eye, the lobster Mac and cheese, lyonnaise potatoes and asparagus. We ordered the Caymus wine which was also most excellent. They seated us promptly and took our drink orders which came fast. Everyone had a great time and we all devoured our food and dessert! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Reserved a table for Ruth's Chris grand opening of their new restaurant in Woodland Hills, November 30. We had the steak & shrimp with wine. The noise level was moderate, and the service was excellent.

My husband and I live very close to Ruth's Chris on South Beverly Drive. The wonderful and friendly staff have charmed us to the point of no return - we love this place! Ray and Cassandra bartending have never let us down, and Marc running the show makes it look effortless. We have celebrated special occasions with our friends as well as random evenings where we feel like spoiling ourselves. We will continue to return on a regular basis...

Wow – what a great find! We ate here twice while staying nearby. The food was faultless; we loved the petite filet – it was cooked perfectly, and the stuffed chicken breast was full of flavor. This is one of the best restaurants we’ve ever visited, and we can’t wait to return next year

The adress is in 13455Maxella avenue 230 Marina del Rey ca 90292 Is in an open mall you have bar , terrace so you can eat outdoors Or inside The people at the restaurant are very friendly and the steak, shrimps and The potatoes pye were really delicious The desserts too I have to return as soon as possible You have place for your car And it was really a very nice dinner

Sit at the bar area-better conversations (waiters/waitresses) don't have time to talk and sometimes hard to get refills or their attention. At the bar-they cater t you. Friendly and great conversations-great food and out within an hour!!! The Bar area employees are the best around-too bad they will close for the remodeling

Wonderful atmosphere, delicious tender steak fabulous brussels sprouts and a terrific waitress named Ashley from Massachusetts .

I have eaten at a lot of Ruth Chris's around the country: Anaheim, Seattle, Chicago, Palm Springs, I can go on. Most times they are hit and miss, the sides are cold, the steak is over cooked (I like medium Pink), the steak is too small, the drink is under poured or not shaken/stirred. Today surprisingly Everything, I mean Everything was Amazing. The filet was large pink and sizzling, sides were great (Crab Cakes, Lobster Mac, Classic Fries & Chopped Salad). Very Surprised. Ranch Dressing lovers Order it for the Fries

This is a very good Restaurant with great steaks and other entree's, with good service. I don't recommend going on any holiday, because it is a mad house and makes it uncomfortable. They put in extra tables to try and keep up with demand, but to close to other table.

Take a bite. It's delicious! Great service, high quality steak. What more can I say? It's pricey but worth it. A lot of food, but you won't leave disappointed.

Enjoyed a joint birthday celebration with terrific, attentive service from Ashley Korbey. The Blackberry SideCar was delicious. Must go back for Happy Hour soon.

Everything about this restaurant is fabulous. The food is super wonderful. The service is awesome. Reservations are recommended, however, it was just my husband and me, and we only had to wait about 5 minutes since they had tables for 2. Be prepared that it is expensive, approx $50+ pp.

Really enjoyed out last minute meal at Ruth's Chris. I love how consistent and delicious the food is. Made our reservation easily through Open Table. We were promptly sat upon arrival. Our server Jarrod (it was spelled uniquely) was nice but not the greatest for this type of restaurant. He had a do not care attitude, left us waiting on drink refills and was overall uninterested. We received more service from the bussers and food runners. We still tipped him well but definitely try not to sit in his section . We ordered a calamari appetizer which was fantastic. Probably some of the best I have had. I have only tried calamari one other time and it was not pleasant so this was a good second chance on the dish. It also included mini squids or octopus or whatever calamari is. My friend thoroughly enjoyed those while I was not adventurous enough to eat something with its legs still intact. Up next was an amazing tomato soup bisque. It was fantastic and I will probably come back for lunch soon just to get that. Filet mignon was delicious. Always consistent and yummy. I ordered mashed potatoes but Jarrod brought me a fully loaded baked potato. I was thrown off but still ate it. Jarrod is way too uninterested and probably too important to care about messing up an order. The baked potato was good though! Desert was a very rich chocolate coffee type tart with fresh fruit. It was super good. I love Ruth's Chris. I've been eating with this brand regularly since I was a child. The food is always good and consistent which I appreciate. Plus, because we ate it so much when I was a child, it brought back the warm fuzzies.

I am so impressed with the staff. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner. Food was Excellent. Tony,Debbie and Jillian go out of their way to accommodate your every need. The Service Manager Jason is approachable, welcoming and friendly These people are not only hardworking but exemplify a great attitude and really work hard at making your dining experience one that you will remember. We will be coming back for sure.

I attended a large fundraiser yesterday. I had never been to this restaurant before, but had heard many wonderful things about it. We don't generally eat beef, but it's a steakhouse, so I tried the petit steak. It was wonderful, tender, delicious, perfect! The side dishes had been pre selected for the group, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. I did not like the idea of either of those, but I must tell you, they were delicious! Fortunately, I am not one of those who won't try something I don't think I will like, so after one taste I knew they were superb. And for dessert? An individual chocolate cake, semi sweet, with strawberry drizzle. It might be pricey here, but the service is great, and the food is delicious. It was a large event, so it was a little noisy and chaotic until everyone settled down, but this is a very special place to come for a wonderful meal.

Took family to dinner last night and had to return three dishes due to poor quality. Requested a Filet which was incorrectly delivered and got it changed. One Ribeye was so tough and had to be replaced plus a Veggie dish had seen better days. Normally our experience with this restaurant is very good but this time we felt let down especially since you are paying a high price.

Great experience at RC for my Mother-in-Law 97th birthday. Service with Matthew was excellent. Super nice and super accommodating for our party of 12. He even put the candles that I brought on the birthday cake. Steaks were flavorful - the crab cakes were delicious. Perfect place to eat great food with great service and relax after a long day.

Food was great, service was fine too, but a bit overpriced. If not for the price, they would have 5 stars from me. One more thing you may want to consider : It is VERY noisy when the restaurant id full. You need to talk VERY laud even to people who sits in your table.

We had a lovely dinner here. Delicious menu with Steak as the speciality but the mac cheese with lobster bits was also yummy. Excellent quality and worth the price with outstanding service fm friendly, professional staff. Excellent chain for a friends get together, business meal or family gathering. Recommended.

You know it's going to be expensive, but very good quality food. We've had the Filet, as well as the crab cakes - these are the two dishes we primarily eat when we do drop in here. All are Very Good. And of course, service is usually Very Good to Excellent

Went in for a dinner with the family. Had a great time the service was great. Food was awesome and the way we ordered it. Had a 40oz tomahawk ribeye which was amazing. Will be back.

Client friendly restaurant in a convenient location for people doing business at the Warner Center. Three course special makes for a good relative value. Booths are comfortable to conduct business and the service is efficient and good. The steaks are very reliable and good cuts of meat. The sides are definitely shareable.

We had a celebration dinner here on Saturday evening, and it was top notch from the service to the wine to the food. The waiter was able to recommend a great wine to my daughter after asking her a few questions about her tastes (at 22 she is not very experienced with wine yet). Our steaks were prepared just as ordered and were incredible. The sides we chose, baby spinach and mashed potatoes and broiled tomatoes, were all well prepared and delicious. We were very well attended to and the waiter was great, as were the rest of the staff. This place is expensive, but they deliver just as they should.

We made reservations last minute for Father's Day. We had 9 in our party and the accommodated us even though it was last minute. Our reservation was at 9pm and we were seated promptly. The waitresses were attentive and very friendly with all of us. Each steak ordered was cooked to perfection(we ordered mostly filet mignon and lobster). The fish I had was ok nothing to write home about but the service is always great. Our sides ordered were lobster MacNcheese, asparagus, baked potato french fries, sweet potato caserole all served family style. We ordered plenty of desserts: cheesecake, the chocolate duo lava cake with chocolate mousse, fruit with cream and the chocolate silk pie. They were all delicious and they were gracious enough to let us take our time and eat and talk. I love this place and will be back when we visit again.

Great meal with great friends, all the dishes were very good and steaks were cook as ordered, but in order for me to give 5 start the restaurant must have a wow dish. In this case all were very good, but none make me want to come back next day and have it again. Service was outstanding!

Went there with my good friend’s mom for holidays dinner. The steak was very good, although the price is on the high side. Wine was expensive ($25.5 for 9 oz glass and not the top notch yet), service was attentive. Everything overall was very nice experience. We got there early for reservation at 4:45 pm so we won’t eat too late. We were told, “This is the best steak restaurant in the world.” I can tell you 1000% that IT IS NOT. DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE THEY TELL YOU!!!! Just good, not the greatest, not most delicious!

Amazing food and amazing service. My boyfriend had the tomahawk steak, was cooked to perfection. Would recommend 100 times over.

Been go here several times with my wife. Pricing is above average but still not as pricy as the nearby premiere steakhouses whose dishes don't justify the expensive costs. Ruth's Chris offers nice portions, great to sit in the dining area or at the bar, and not once have we been disappointed coming here.

We go here quite frequently. Who can pass up a steak meal with a fabulous value, beautiful space, excellent service . I have eaten in several and this one is just wonderful . The Ruth Chris value meal- 3 courses about $45 is the greatest. Nice options on this menu or go for a la carte and eat to your heart's content.

This a great place to eat. Yes it is expensive but the food is devine. One can always share, but once you start eating it you want to keep it to yourself. Steaks are melt in your mouth yummy and the deserts well are to much. Yummy. Love it but it is high in price so its on a real special occasion.

For how good the food tastes, the price is amazing! If you want to go to a good steakhouse but dont want to spend an arm and a leg then Ruth's Chris is the place to go! Their rib eye and filet are cooked to perfection every time and come out to your table on a sizzling plate of butter. The seared ahi and bbq shrimp are probably my favorite appetizers but all their apps taste fantastic. With 2 steaks, 2 starters and 2 sides you can probably leave Ruth's Chris for around $120.

I've been in a lot of Steak places but it was the best so far...5 Star restaurant with a really nice staff and perfect steak! We had a great time there with my friends!Love it!

When it come to a good steak house it's always a hit here!! I'm very picky when it comes to steak Resturants as if never had a bad experience here. The service and steaks here are great as the quality and taste goes far beyond what you would expect.

Great cowboy cut ribeye - full of flavor. When things fear busy at this place the staff gets a little overwhelmed. The location is attached to a tier 3 mall. Overall, it’s a solid Ruth’s.

We went there twice in 4 days! The meat is delicious. I have never found a place like this. I really recommend it. Enjoy

My wife and I were there with some friends for dinner. We had the Crab Cakes and Filet - both were Excellent. And the sides were excellent also. The service seemed extra good this time, more so than its usually very good service - helpful when needed. Prices are a tad higher than your usual restaurant, but ... you sometimes pay for what you get. We come here about every 2 months or so, when we are in the neighborhood.

The food is amazing, the tuna appetizer was wonderful and the service is incredible! Looking forward to going back again!!

We have been to many Ruth's Chris from Baja to Alta California. All are very clean, with outstanding service. The best steaks any where!

If you are looking for a Filet Minot that melts in your mouth, then this is the place. Steaks are great. They have fish meals also, along with other meals. However, you will be paying for the meals, drinks, and other accoutrements and amenities. Not an inexpensive restaurant. But, it is a great place to get a great meal.

The bar area is smallish, and once seats fill up, not many people leave. The happy hour menu is wonderful, with lots of great choices from huge burgers to huge shrimp to huge platters of calamari. The serving sizes are much bigger than you might expect, and the flavors are excellent. Prices are $5-$14. This is one of the best happy hour menus around. Service is very friendly, but they usually don't come back one you have your food.

Another good choice in various locations. food and service arfe always top drawer.

I love this Ruth's Chris! They have a great bar and wait staff, plus their happy hour specials and food in amazing! Don't miss it!

Another great anniversary dinner at Ruth Chris! My wife and I are New Orleans natives and have dined at over 12 locations of this AWESOME steakhouse. This was to celebrate our 36th anniversary and was at least the 20th time we celebrated it at RC. Cheers to another wonderful dining experience... we highly recommend the porterhouse for two! Cheers!

Don't get me wrong, the service was great. I just felt like the quality of meat, which should have been great for the price, was just average. I'm probably never going back unless someone I know has an event there, b/c it's too much money to just see it will be better next time! :-/

We had not returned to Ruth's Chris Steak House in many years because the food had become disappointing. Two years ago, my sister gave us a gift card which we finally decided to use for our anniversary. We had made reservations online and had written that we were celebrating our anniversary. On the morning of our reservation, someone from Ruth's Chris called to confirm our dinner reservation, to get our names and to verify our 38th anniversary. When we arrived, there was ample parking available and we noticed a valet service as well. As we entered the restaurant, the bar area was extremely crowded with a Friday night crowd watching the Rio Olympics but the restaurant was fairly empty at 6:30 PM. As we were seated at our booth, the hostess congratulated us on our wedding anniversary, sprinkled anniversary confetti & hearts on the table and presented us with the menu. The men had been personalized with our names - what a lovely touch!. Our waiter, Louis, greeted us warmly and again gave us anniversary greetings. Fresh bread was brought to our table (in some restaurants, bread isn't brought to the table automatically unless you request it). As we perused the menu, we noted the changes in the menu (and prices!), and both chose to enjoy the prix fixe menu, Our choices included a Caesar salad; strawberry, blue cheese & toasted almond salad, followed by 6 oz. filet with cold water lobster tail, accompanied by mashed potatoes and creamed spinach and dessert. Although the Caesar salad was very good (there were ample slices of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top of the salad), we decided the tangy strawberry, blue cheese & toasted almond salad was the better of the two. The medium rare filet with a warm red center had been prepared perfectly, well seasoned on the exterior and tender - though it wasn't as buttery tasting as we had remembered the steaks of past. The 5/6 oz lobster tail was delicious. The tail was removed from its shell table side and placed on top of the steak. My husband kept his shell to savor the meat that is found in the fin. In hindsight we should have chosen the cauliflower au gratin instead of the creamed spinach or asked if we could have substituted a different fresh vegetable. The mashed potato was fine but we did not like the flavor of the creamed spinach (there was a seasoning that we didn't care for). We enjoyed a lovely surprise when our waiter brought a celebration dessert that accompanied our key lime pie and almond bark: a scoop of raspberry ice cream with a lighted candle on top! The raspberry ice cream was refreshing on a warm evening while the key lime pie was disappointing as it wasn't very key limey. The almond bark was chocolate as expected. As the evening wore on, the restaurant started to fill but it was never full. Because it wasn't crowded we enjoyed a very leisurely anniversary meal. Service was excellent as Louis, our waiter, and Vason, the assistant, met and anticipated our needs.

The title says it all! A little bit pricier than the usual run of the mill US steakhouse but worth every penny. Fine dining at its best. Save some space for the cheesecake afterwards! It's a must!

Typical excellent food at Ruth Chris steakhouse. In the heart of woodland hills inside the mall. Great happy hour too.

Great service. Delicious food. Super time in dining room which was packed at 8pm on Tuesday night! Valet available but plenty of self park options too

I love their steak very much and the desserts. I can't complaint with anything for the excellent foods. I recommend anybody to get a good steak! Beware of the hot plate is over 500 degree! Also, I recommend anybody to ask for the server Courtney Nakagawa! She is very sweet and she's good listener too.

Just celebrated our 2 daughters birthday at Ruth Chris in Woodland Hills, Ca. We were greeted and seated promptly by the hostesses. Our waiters P J and Jeff were absolutely fantastic. Laurie the Manager and Frank the General Manager welcomed us with a superb Calamari appetizer. Frank seconded as the Chef and prepared the most succulent dinner we have had in months. The Rib Eyes are to die for served on a heated plate with melted butter. The wine selection is very good with several in-expensive reds. I hear people complain that they are too expensive, but if you figure for $40.00 you can get a complete meal in the atmosphere that Ruth Chris is noted for I say go for it. Life is too short to eat fast food.

Went for my birthday, they have your name on the menu when you arrive. 4 of us started with great cocktails and some apps. The corkage fee is 15.00 and we brought our own wine, reasonable. The main coarse was awesome, filets, bone in ribeye, nice sides, all cooked to perfection. Dessert was also great, will be going back again!

The atmosphere was great. Wasn't as busy as expected for Thanksgiving. Our waiter was polite and entertaining to our four year old. My daughter is allergic to nuts and this location made her a sweet potato casserole without nuts unlike some other locations. My rib eye was perfect and my husbands stuffed chicken breast was superb.
Great Service at a Steak House
We had the New York steak and filet. Brought our own wine and shared a salad (big enough to share). Wine list on the high side, service excellent and the atmosphere was quiet and easy to carry a conversation. Easy parking, also valet offered (not necessary). Reservations strongly recommended.
