Seattle Ruth’s Chris Steak House is so much different to Bellevue Ruth’s Christ Steak House. The same medium well Ribeye I ordered, Seattle does everything the same as advertised, still tender and juicy, but Bellevue did as hard as rock.

Spectacular meat. Price is high but in line with the quality of the dishes and the service. $120 for meat, beer and side dish, but it's worth it without a doubt.

Quick business lunch went well Food is always consistent. Plus if it isn't, they are quick to remedy the situation I have found in the past Service staff were busier than normal due to it being so close to Christmas I think.

Just a few steps from the Seattle Convention Center, Ruth's Chris Steak House is a place to visit and to enjoy. the service is excelent, and even if you just drop by without reservation, the staff will do their best to accomodate you and your party. The service is only second to the kitchen and their staff. All meats are superb, and the side dishes hel to elevate the pleasure of good food, beatufilly prepared and served with care. The very best dining place of this part of town.

The Porterhouse for Two was great! Loved the Lobster Mac & Cheese and the brussel sprouts. Kevin was an excellent and attentive waiter.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Not only was the food amazing but the service was outstanding. Jason the server was the best sever I have ever had. He very attentive and didn't care that I was there solo. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in town.

This restaurant has a very good rating for steaks . . .and that part is justified. The side offerings are disappointing. Caesar salad was overdressed and soggy, the baked potato had obviously been cooked in foil some time ago - hard and moist and unattractive appearance. Service was adequate (although Enrique reeked of heavy cologne - not great with food!). Thank Heavens we had a gift certificate as we would have been unhappy paying those prices for very average food. There are other less expensive restaurants that cook steaks well. Try them!

First time trying Ruth's Chris Steak House.... and my last time. The restaurant was freezing cold, not sure why. I ordered a Caesar salad w/o croutons, came with croutons. Order a rye & coke, doesn't come with a lime. Ordered a med rare steak, get medium. My colleague orders a medium filet, gets a well done, they re-make it, then it is rare, almost bleu rare, 3rd time it comes back in a couple of minutes and it's close enough. For a restaurant that specializes in steak, this was terrible. I will stick with John Howie's in Bellevue on my next visit.

Visited, last week, with 1st-time-at-Ruth’s friends to celebrate my spouse’s birthday. At reception, my spouse was well-wished by several staff; we were then taken to our table by Lisa, our hostess. Lisa was (probably still is 😉)exceptional: poised, friendly, engaging, with a sense of humor that quickly had us smiling - a great intro to Ruth’s Chris. At our table, Lisa introduced us to Paul, our server. Again, my spouse was wished, with a smile, a Happy Birthday, and Paul, after a few words, let us settle in. We soon settled on apps (fried calamari and osso bucco ravioli: both excellent) and a wine, and discussed the menu. (The calamari - a staple everywhere, and a dish I’ve had more times than I can remember) - was extraordinary: lightly fried and still very crispy, with tender squid beneath the light dredge.) We were there for beef, so ordered 1 bone-in filet, 1 bone-in NY strip, and 2 petite filet; all ordered rare, or rare-to-blue. As we ordered sides, Paul saw that several of us had ordered the same one, and gently asked if he might recommend alternatives. He was correct to, of course, and we much appreciated both his attitude and suggestions; this guy gets it. What’s to say? Each steak arrived as ordered, the meat tender with a nice beefy flavor. I usually go for a ribeye but this time ordered the bone-in filet; my spouse last time there had ordered one, and I thought it better than my ribeye. So it was again. The sides (potatoes au gratin, cremini mushrooms bathed in a steak-ready pan sauce, and a truffle crust for the steaks; suggested, by Paul, as a shared dish, to allow for tastes) were satisfying. Our new-to-Ruth’s Chris friends were very pleased with everything. They, and we, felt all was professionally done, but done with a personal touch (including the work done by the bussers.) To expand a bit on the personal touch aspect, Irving - the manager - stopped by to offer his best wishes. Hearing we were in town for a couple Mariners/Yankees games, he asked about our seat locations, saying he and his sons were attending a game. Damned if he and his boys didn’t stop by our seats and chat a bit, inviting us back to the restaurant to enjoy a drink before we left town. Nice. Oh yeah. Please try the vanilla chocolate bread pudding. Man, that was gooood.

just across the street from our hotel, Ruth's is a great Steak restaurant. we really enjoined the experience, the service and, above all, the steaks!!

The Ambiente is old and need some renovations. In the past meat would be served in hot iron pan not anymore. Food overall was very good but not as I would expect for this restaurant with that price tag.

There is Ruth’s Chris steakhouse right in the Grand Hyatt Seattle!!! Sure, it’s pricey, but they have a happy hour every day from 4-7, and that is the time to go. If you sit at the bar, you will get the best deals. I had a vodka martini or two, and I got the half price appetizers, barbecue shrimp and the prime rib sliders, both delicious!!! Not crowded, and if you do have a car, they validate parking in the hotel lobby!!!

RC is a wonderful restaurant in the Grand Hyatt. The menu is varied and the prices are not too bad either. I had the special steak and shrimp $60 and enjoyed it very much. If you go at lunch the special is $45. Definitely you will enjoy your meal!

After the first visit we use them as a meeting point with our suppliers and friends as well as for the breakfast. The meat quality is awesome and most of the staff are extremely professional and kind. Wines are for all wallets and meeting all preferences. You shall be duly suggested by the waiter. Enjoy!

Never disappoints…great dinner out in Seattle. The steaks and seafood platter were amazing. Really nice wine list and attentive service. My filet was excellent!

Nobody does steak like Ruth's Chris, and the flavor of the meat is especially delicious. Sides are always great, shrimp cocktail, asparagus and salad. YUM

I have never took the time to complain or write restaurant reviews, but the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism of the manager, I felt compelled to write this review. It was on my Birthday, I had dinner at my favorite Ruth's Chris steak house in Seattle, the same restaurant we'd celebrated for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, a bad food and management service tainted the special evening with my Husband. I asked for steak Filet Mignon medium, got quite rare, sent it back and it came back almost well done. I mentioned the server over and told him about the problem. He had a great attitude and was happily going to take care of the situation, but when the manager stepped in, not only he did not apologize, he did not response the same enthusiastic of taking care of me like the server did. This should never be accepted in an expensive steak house, especially when it wasn't even busy. Why should I have paid for the kitchen mistake regardless of the cost to the restaurant. On top of that, we had to wait longer than 40 minutes for the bill. The manager just walked around and did not care to come back to check on us after he took the bad food back to show to the kitchen (all side dishes were also bad too). My steak was comped, but after the issue happened with my order. I was expecting to have a great dinner on my Birthday, I ended up to be extremely disappointed and hungry. We would simply never go back to your steak house ever again.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle for 3 nights and had tried other restaurants around town the other 2 nights, this was our 3rd night in the city and for a Wednesday night the place was thriving and they could only just squeeze us in. We were so glad they could as this was the best meal of our visit and potentially the best steak we have ever eaten! I had the fillet and he had the bone in fillet and both were exceptional. I’ve since investigated and seen it’s a chain restaurant, we can’t wait to travel more of the US and Canada and dine in more of these restaurants. Who is Ruth and how do I get to meet her to thank her for this delicious meal!?

My first time ever at this location and I was treated like a regular. The staff is amazing from when I first walked in, and Emily greeted me at the host of Stan to Dan. The manager checking in on me and Vincent our server with the great recommendations we came in for the happy hour burger, and steak sandwich And could be the best friend I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you for a wonderful time. I will definitely be back next time in Seattle.

Have been coming here for years. Came in for lunch and found that the hostess was not at the desk. After about 5 min of standing there someone came up and said just a minute, then made a phone call and when I said we had reservations, she could have cared less. Our server was less than organized and service was just fair. Maybe the JV team works during the day. A 100.00 lunch that was just average..

First visit to one of these restaurants, and absolutely loved it. I ordered just the petite filet, and my friend ordered a special that came with starter, main, and dessert. The filet was amazing! Served on a 500 degree plate with melted butter. The smell alone was wonderful. One of the best filets I've had. Staff was friendly, helpful, courteous, and attentive. I would definitely return.

I’ve eaten steak around the world. Kobe in Japan, Churrasco in South America, I’ve had steak at Peter Luger, I’ve been to Vegas, you name it. But I’ve never had a steak as juicy and tender and delicious as the 11oz fillet at Ruth’s Chris in Seattle. From the moment I sat down for drinks with my friends I started judging the place. It’s so last century in here, that seafood tower is so 70’s blah blah blah. Then I got hungry and asked the waiter "how good is your chef here?". He said "oh, our chef is exceptional". I ordered the fillet, between blue and rare. Holy smokes. With every bite I thanked Carl Sagan’s ghost for the fact that I had all my teeth and money to afford this meal. The fillet looked great on the plate. It was thick and plump. The texture, the flavor, oh my god it was like butter. I highly recommend the steak at this establishment. When I was done, I asked to meet the chef. He came out and I told him they really knew what they were doing, not just cooking their ingredients, but sourcing them. I would also recommend getting wine by the bottle, as their cocktails are a bit on the not-getting-me-drunk-fast-enough side. Cheers.

Lovely dining experience. Not for the beef faint of heart as this is a steakhouse and not a plant friendly option in sight. Steaks are superior. The service is excellent , polished and professional.

Ruth Chris steakhouse is my wife’s favorite restaurant chain. So when in town we always have to check it out. This will be our 6th Ruth Chris steakhouse, and it did not disappoint. Great steaks with excellent service in an interesting fine dining atmosphere in the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Older restaurant that still has a fine steakhouse vibe that is lost at so many of the new restaurants. Great management keeps the staff on point. I wish that we still had a Ruth Chris Steakhouse in my town.

We were the only restaurant guests (5 adults on Sunday Aug. 7, 2022) when we arrived for our 2:30 reservation, which is when we arrived from out of state. The service was good but not great as our server was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful, but the drinks ran empty several times despite there being no to few other guests at the same time. The lobster bisque was bitter and not flavorful despite us arriving hungry, I suspect made from canned lobster. Steaks were seasoned well and cooked right. Other dishes were good - sweet potato casserole, potatoes au gratin (though they were in a large cube instead of scalloped), crab cakes, asparagus, brussel sprouts, and dessert. Our experience was 4/5 stars until I left. Have just rolled into town too early to check into our reservation and having had our car broken into before, I brought my phone/wallet with me. I forgot pockets, so I set in on the chair part way under my leg, but walked out without it. This is 100% my fault. When I realized and called 15-20 minutes later, the hostess was very helpful and checked the table, but it wasn't there. I called several more times and it became apparent it wasn't going to be found. A few days later in response to a negative satisfaction survey from Ruth's Chris, the manager called to talk to him. When my husband explained what happened, the manager told us he trusts all his staff completely and it must have been a patron. Well, the theft happened fast, there were no patrons sitting near us (still mostly empty), and my chair was positioned where patrons would not see that I had left it. He said the table was turned in 15 minutes - again, I really think staff did it. Add to this that the spending spree didn't start until the next day, and it really sounds like whoever lifted it worked out the rest of their shift. We talked with Seattle police, also understaffed, and the officer said this happens all the time. Restaurants of all quality are desperately understaffed and will hire someone who walks in off the door offering to work that night. There is not screening, and if they were bussing tables, they likely pocketed the money/cards/phone and never went back. Apparently this is really common. I don't know if this is what happened, but it makes sense. While we weren't asking for free food and wouldn't have accepted it, he didn't even offer. Honestly, he seemed quite burned out and that this was an issue he just didn't have time for. Like the cop, they think I'm not out anything (they even said that). I had several hundred in cash, the cost of my phone, my ID (identity theft!), the hassle of replacing everything, and the thief got away with over $3,500 in reward for dishonest behavior. I'm not going to carry everything together again, but I'm also never going to Ruth's Chris again. No one in my group is, either, or anyone who asks us where to eat. So disappointing.

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouses are among our favorite out of town dining locations and once again, we were rewarded with an outstanding meal. Fine wines, excellent appetizers, steaks cooked to perfection, and super desserts to top it all off. Adding to our enjoyment was the outstanding service provided by Victoria. Her smile, conversation, and attention to detail simply added to a memorable evening.

This Ruth's Chris is in the lobby of the Grand Hyatt in Seattle. I visited on a Friday evening, early, and sat at the bar. Menu was as expected (steakhouse) Wine selection decent; I had a good glass of Oregon Pinot Noir. The bartender was pleasant and professional. All in all, a good experience.

I was staying in the Grand Hyatt so ended up having snacks and a drink here one night, dinner another night, and breakfast one morning. The staff is wonderful, very attentive and accommodating to our group for various food preferences/allergies. My petit filet was cooked perfectly. At dinner, everybody was happy with their steaks. We also had one vegan diner and she was satisfied with their options and how they were able to accommodate her. I wasn't quite as crazy about the breakfast but the other two meals make up for it! They're not really a breakfast place, anyway.

It was never worth the price and there are a lot better places in Seattle. Try Jak's. On top of that they're fraudsters who took federal funding designated for small businesses. Don't eat here.

If you are in a "Hurry" (going to a play, movie or other event) and need a " quick" place to eat, you might enjoy this crowded restaurant! If you are looking for atmosphere, quiet, casual dining experience, celebrating a Birthday or anniversary this is definitely not the place to go. We had reservations at 5:00 PM and still had to wait to be seated! Once seated all you could see is servers "dashing" by you to serve other tables. They were at a dead run (Freeway Speed) with plates of food almost missing the stair treads to get to the various tables. The servers were "multitasks" to the "extreme" and couldn't serve guests in order of reservations (event patrons vrs. casual patrons) EVENT PATRONS CAME FIRST WHILE WE WAITED FOR OUR PLATES. Plates the food were served on were scalding hot (they did warned us about) but food should have been doubled plated. One of our guests had steak and lobster and mac, while others had chicken and salmon. The food was good but not as good as the Metropolitan Grill or the Silverwater Cafe in Port Townsend, WA. If you have a hearing disability, as one of our guests had, the noise level in this restaurant was extreme! Our server had a hard time keeping track of our courses while dining, due to the event patrons being served first no matter if they came in after us! I have to give this restaurant a "C" grade. I call this restaurant "Freeway Dining" look out for the speed of the servers passing you by!

As mentioned in many other reviews - the steaks were amazing, the rest was meh. Our waiter was great. Very friendly, lots of personality, honest and knowledgeable. I'm not a fan of places where you have to order your accompaniments separately, but it is what it is. The sides and starters were only okay. Drinks took far too long.

We came here for our anniversary dinner. Very disappointed with the service. After we were sat down we waited quite a long time for our waitress to come and take our drink order. It seemed like after each item we received it was a very long wait between orders. We began with the calamari appetizer. It was just average. Then we both ordered salads. I had thr wedge salad that had so much bleu cheese that 1/4 of my salad i wasnt able to eat. My husbands caesar salad looked better. We ordered filet mignon. It was good - not great. We also ordered the lobster mac n cheese. Disappointed with this as well. The lobster had no flavor! Between each dish we waited an abnormal long time for our dishes to taken away. Not once did our waitress come and ask how everything was. So disappointed with the service we received!!!!! There are much better steakhouses. For the price we spent, we would have expected better service and better food.

Love love love the fillet steak at Ruth Chris, it’s always spot on.. Seattle is no different. We opted for no starters as wanted room for the lovely chocolate sin cake, both had fillet with gratin potatoes, all excellent. But.. Felt rushed, our waitress was very pleasant, but I hadn’t finished my steak and she had whisked away my wife’s empty plate and enquired if we wanted dessert, she then realised I was still eating and backed off a bit.. However she was soon back and the desert followed, along with the final bill!! I might of wanted coffee, a cocktail, something.. $200 for dinner that lasted just over an hour, slow down please!!

First, I would like to say that Ruth Chris has been our go to place for dinner while attending the Paramount Theatre the last 10 years. Last week we made reservations for 5:15. The hostess asked us to wait a moment while they”flipped our table”. There was no table flipping involved ! The lower restaurant had 4 tables filled but they instead tried to seat us up above in the window. This was NOT satisfactory and we told the young man who tried to seat us but he ignored us and walked away and left us standing. After approaching the desk again, they seated us below. The manager did finally approach our table to check to see if everything was ok but basically it was just lip service, I doubt he said a word to the rude person that originally seated us. Dinner ended up being fine but I guess we expect better service from Ruth Chris.

Great food!!! The steaks are cook just right. The service was fast and the ambiance was simply a delight. We all went home with happy stomachs

I ate at the bar on a very slow evening where most of the tables were empty and there was only one other person at the bar. The bartender seemed more interested in cleaning up the bar, dusting off the bottles, etc. then waiting on the customers. I sat for awhile before he even offered to get me a drink. He took my food order when he gave me my drink. It him about 6-7 minutes to ask if I wanted bread. By the time he gave me the bread, my entree had just about arrived. He never asked if I wanted another glass of wine. The filet was ok but not great. It was cooked correctly but included some fat and didn't have much flavor. My side was good. For the price, I expected a better steak and for sure, more attentive service.

This was my first time at Seattle's with Chris Steakhouse. I also visited Ruth's Chris Steak House in Portland Oregon years ago. This was the first time in my life that I ever had a tomahawk steak. The sweet potato with pecan topping for the side was delicious. The libations I had with my meal was exceptional I must add as well.

Came here for breakfast! Never knew they had breakfast options. The food was great, prices were amazing and the staff were extremely nice. Highly recommend coming here again especially for breakfast!

After reading quite many controversial reviews, we decided to come to the restaurant to experience ourselves as we stayed quite close to the Steak House. Service was amazing and friendly. The steak was well seasoned and cooked. Absolutely amazing!

This Ruth Chris, attached with the Hyatt Hotel, did not disappoint in that it is commensurate with all Ruth Chris Steak restaurants. Ambience was excellent. Very nice restrooms downstairs. Excellent bar. The food is of high quality. I had a 12oz Ribeye. My only disappointment too often with Ruth Chris’ ribeyes is what I view as higher marbling involving more intramuscular fat then I prefer. The higher marbling does add flavor, but on seeing it I always think of “clogged arteries.” Service was excellent but an odd occurrence happened on my entrance. The well suited male host acknowledged me on my entrance as I stood waiting to be seated. He continued some form of business conversation with a couple of lady wait staffs. Finally, after standing for about five minutes I interrupted his conversation asking should I go ahead and seat myself. At that point they all focused attention on me and walked me to a table. I saw a table for two (I was solo) off to itself that would afford me some privacy while dining and reading. The young wait-lady instead said that she preferred that I sit at a table where other diners were sitting nearby. In other words, she wanted all diners sitting at tables concentrated in close proximity. It was not as if my chosen table was a distance away (about four tables), but I feared excessive conversations around me from the other diners where the young lady wanted to seat me. Sure enough, she seated me next to a young couple who were loquacious throughout my meal with the female woman shocking me with constant use of the “F” word in almost every sentence. I should have been adamant and demanded the table I saw initially. The food was very good. I had the carrot soup appetizer. Enjoyed my side vegetable with the ribeye. Dessert was outstanding, but I only took a bite or two of it as I watch my calories closely. Ruth Chris remains one of the better steak restaurants.

Our server, Jason, made our first visit to Ruth’s Chris Steak House memorable, and stirred a desire for a second visit! Opting for time slightly over experience due to a Broadway show down the street, Jason ensures that we had the ‘complete Ruth’s Chris experience’ AND were on-time to make it to our show! We both opted for the Ruth’s Chris Classic (Caesar salad, 6 oz filet with lobster-tail, garlic mashed potatoes, & cheesecake with seasonal fruit), and we were not disappointed! We ordered our steak ‘blue’ and received it so, the beef nearly melted in our mouth and the lobster was grilled to perfection with a side of melted butter. Truly a gourmet repast worthy of committing to memory! Thank you Ruth’s Chris

The best steaks! I have eaten in many Ruth's Chris and the food is always great and the steaks amazing . Must add that even though I gave a 5 star due to the rating of the food the service was a bit slow at this branch even though it was not full. Maybe due to the late hour we had dinner ..

We had a very high priced meal and the food was not a trained chef quality. It was very average tasting and some dishes were poorly prepared.

I am a long time RC customer, my recent visit was very disappointing and the quality of the food was not what is expected from RC. The food was flavorless, the plate did not arrive sizzling/butter and the filet cut of 11oz steak was poor. Not only did I feel this way, the gentleman sitting next to me had the same experience. When I return home, I will give them another opportunity to prove themselves. If not, there are too many other options available!

We went here for our Anniversary dinner. The service was wonderful. The food was very good and definitely gave enough food. We didn't leave there hungry. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I realize this is a chain and we tried very hard to support local, but the restaurants that we had looked at were out of our budget, darn it.

AVOID! Does NOT meet the Hyatt expectations on either quality of food or service. I’m a Hyatt fan but this was the biggest let down! Had a steak which was below par & while the restaurant was empty, the staff pretended to be busy

Stayed at the Hyatt so an obvious choice to try out and glad we did. Nice and relaxing after walking the streets of Seattle. Reasonably priced for a high end joint. Very good service especially from Enrique.

Located in downtown Seattle at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, this is a very elegant restaurant. You can eat all types of steak. New York strip is fantastic, T-bone excellent. Price is high but considering the quality of food it is truly appropriate.

Probably a simple burger is too difficult to have there but I can say that it was not tasty too well-done and how about the fries? I did not order them because I asked for a caesar salad beside the burger. Anyway the fries were too fried browncoloured not suitable for eating. Finally..the caesar salad arrived and it was good.. the only thing I ate. the only positive aspect: the burger is cheaper than in other places I went in Seattle....

We spent our last evening in Seattle at the Grand Hyatt so thought this restaurant would be good and convenient and we were not disappointed The food and service was first class and our server Gabriela was lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The Steaks we had were amazing and cooked perfectly Will definitely be trying another steakhouse next time we are back in the States Thank You

I was staying at the Hyatt nearby so went there one morning for breakfast. You shall be very patient and you will be rewarded. very slow but absolutely delicious, it felt like they were waiting for the pancakes to get the flour to grow or for the cows to produce fresh milk. But then you get rewarded with the wait

There is probably no more "melf in your mouth" goodness than the beef at Ruth Chris. The Au Jus lunch special is sublime. That said the service, while very pleasant, is still a little hit or miss. Sometimes it is right on. Other times you get the sense that if there is a more high end table near by, you are no longer a priority. But oh does that beef melt in your mouth.

I have nothing bad to say about my dining experience. We visited for my husband's birthday and when we were seated the table was decorated with birthday confetti. At the end of his dinner, a plate with happy birthday and a dessert was delivered to him. The dinner and the experience were such a treat. Will definitely be returning when visiting Seattle again.

Don’t overlook this happy hour if you are visiting. The food is very reasonable for what you get. Beverages range from $11-$21 per drink, but if you are traveling on business, sitting at the bar is easy, reasonable and you get the great service you’d expect from a Ruth Chris.

Ruth’s Chris is my favorite place to eat in any city. You always know that the meal will be great, but the Seattle location is exceptional! The manager made us feel as welcome as regulars. The food was amazing, served perfectly, we were even presented with a selection of special knives to enjoy our steaks. The server suggested the New York cooked rare and seared....it did not disappoint. A must visit for meat lovers when in town!

Ruth's Chris’s Seattle is a culinary experience worth savoring. The food was remarkable, and the service was impeccable. My husband enjoyed a filet mignon, which he claimed the best steak he has ever had. The steak was served on a sizzling hot plate, maintaining a classic simple and elegant presentation. On the flip side, my Chilean sea bass was slightly heavy due to the buttery breadcrumbs on top. Although delicious, the breadcrumbs gave me heartburn and caused a few zits the next day. Nonetheless, it was a very fine dining experience overall. If I were to allow a decimal point, I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. Reason for a 4 start was that we didn’t get any Hyatt points for dinning despite the fact this restaurant is listed as “Earn without a stay” list.

We had a large group (18) with reservations for 7:30. They had been booked for well over a month. They sat us in 3 tables of 6 in a group setting. Service was very poor. We were seated, one person from my table had to run back to his hotel room and we still hadn't had our drink order by the time he came back. The first table served had their food around 9; ours was closer to 9:30-9:45. I ordered a filet medium/medium-well and it resembled an overcooked hamburger. Another patron at our table ordered his medium-rare and his was nearly still cold in the middle. We called the waitress over who quickly saw the issues and sent them back. They then brought back the under-cooked steak within 10 minutes (same steak) and mine took an additional 10 minutes or so. The steak still lacked flavor. By the time the service was completed it was after 10:30. The bill showed up for ~$2,200. There was no adjustment made for the irregular and poor service, or the quality of the food. We asked, they summoned the manager who took his time getting to us and he proceeded to take $150 off the bill. Still nowhere near where it should have been. In visiting with the rest of the group the next day, they all rated the service as awful and the food anywhere from okay to very poor. In counter to this, the night before over 1/2 of the same group ate near the harbor and our total bill was about $800 and the service was outstanding. They asked about dessert, we declined that night and they brought out 6 desserts for the table to share on the house. Goes to show that some really appreciate the business and go the extra mile to make sure you spread the word.

I generally avoid chains when I travel, but Ruth's Chris is the exception. The meal we enjoyed here was delightful and so well done. Our waiter, Nelson, was fantastic, and our meals were perfection. We were a bit rushed to get out and to the theater but Nelson packed up the desserts and we got to the show in perfect time.

Attached to our hotel so the perfect dinner spot before heading out for the night. Crab cakes and filet were delicious...side of Brussels sprouts to boot sealed the dinner.

My wife and I went to Ruth Chris for lunch in celebration of our 57th wedding anniversary. We had an excellent lunch. The server Aishia do not remover her last name was excellent. She was kind, polite and made our meal and time spent exceptional. The manager also greeted us and offered his congrats. He provided us with both complimententary champagne and the most excellent desert that left us speechless. This was one of our best lunches that we had in Seattle. Thanks to both server and management for making our time well spent.

I've always been a fan of Ruth's Chris Steak House, no matter where I travel to. I've had some disappointing meals, and some great ones. This one, was sort of in between those descriptions. The steak was out of this world. A petite filet from Ruth's Chris is as good as it gets, but the accompanying food was sadly lacking. It wasn't that they were bad, they just weren't up to the standards I would just the Steak House with. The salad was just ok, and the vegetables were not all that well done. I don't mind al dente but in this case, there wasn't a vegetable on the table that could be cut with a fork. The potato was nearly overcooked. The atmosphere here is great, laid back and classy. But I think someone in the kitchen was having a bad night.

Located at the Grand Hyatt, Ruth's Chris delivers on its image as one of the premier steakhouses of the US. Despite covid-related restrictions, the service is efficient and professional, the menu is varied and interesting, and the steaks are spectacular.

It's was the second time I have been here. Both times the food was amazing, as well as the service. It was my birthday's both times and they had confetti on the table. Next time I am in Seattle it will definitely be on my to do list.

We enjoyed Ruth's Chris in Seattle when we were there several years ago and we made a point of putting on our itinerary again this time. It didn't disappoint. Same excellent food and service (our server John was outstanding). We've been to a number of Ruth's Chris and this remains our favorite.

We ate here on Fathers Day prior to attending a show nearby. The service was amazing, the food was beyond words. The Stuffed Chicken Breast was the best I have ever had. The staff made our dinner fun and easy and we were out in plenty of time to get to our show after. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good steak, chicken or seafood.

Hard to imagine that a lump of steak on a plate would get you a spot on Master Chief. Disappointed and feeling ripped off.

My wife and I chose to eat here for our eight year anniversary. The restaurant only had three other customers inside which made for a quite dinner. We chose to come down from the hotel room early for happy hour to only find that happy hour was in the bar only. We chose to sit at a bar top hoping we would be moved to the dining room for our meal and that never happened. The male who initially took our order smelled of marijuana which was not appreciated. The entire time we were in the bar, we were cold as it felt like the doors were open. Drinks were good but the main course was not. This was not our first trip to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse but this will be our last at this location. I ordered my steak medium and it came out charred on the outside and little to no pink in the center. My wife ordered her steak well done and it was charred as well. $249 dollar bill for a steak dinner that was not good. We get better steaks at Texas Roadhouse for $15.00. I’ve never been the type to complain about my meal and I didn’t in this case. Looking back, I regret not saying anything. I understand marijuana is legal on Washington, however, being my wife and I are in law enforcement, smelling marijuana on our waiter was enough for us. There is a time and place to get high, at work, around customers eating is not the time and place. As I stated, we will not be back.

Ruth Chris in Seattle has become our favorite steak house before going to either the Paramount, the 5th Ave or ACT theater. If you order off the classic menu, your dinner with salad, entree, and dessert is only $49. We both ordered the fillet and shrimp with potatoes and it was fantastic. Our steaks were done to our order, the shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the dessert was very tasty. My wife had Lemon Drops and i had rum and cokes, and my drinks were a very tasty good pore. Price is right, food is great, and the service is fantastic.

One of the best fillets that I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked. Tasty asparagus. Creamy mashed potatoes. Came down stairs from my room at the Hyatt. Late night snack just before closing. So good. Ruth Chris always delivers. Doesn't matter what location.

Great service! Good prices! Awesome steak!!! served up on a sizzling plate with butter...yummmm The online reviews I had read told me to expect top quality steak at a reasonable price and I was not disappointed!

We thought the restaurant was a small one on the street corner, but as we were brought in it became obvious that this was a much bigger operation with lots of groups celebrating, very nice ambience, had lovely Filet steaks, well seasoned and cooked exactly as requested we shared a portion of potatoes, enjoyed a really nice meal.

I was there at lunch, in the hope to eat a great steak at a reasonable price, as I did in other restaurants of the same brand. Unfortunately, it's not at the level I expected. The steak was good, but not the same standard as the usual Ruth's Chris steak houses. The price, however, was quite high. My friend had a burger, and it was not at all good. The staff was fair, but I would have expected something more from this kind of restaurants.

I hate when a hostess treats people bad, and she makes me feel Unwelcomed because I happen to be dining alone. 1st she didn't listen to my request not to sit at a high table and sat me at one anyways. The next table that came alone were giving the "nice" speech about the menu and the wine list. I didn't get any of this. Now let me tell you about the waiter & his helper.... Very nice. Was there for me, and treated me like a paying costumer. I had an amazing steak and the cocktails were wonderful and came on time.

Our party of six enjoyed a fun and delicious happy hour filled with reasonably priced drinks, small plates and desserts. It was crowded but fun and energizing. The food was delicious, especially the steak sliders and pizza! Highly recommended! While wheelchair accessible, it's best if your wheelchair party can stand up/walk a bit and get in a regular chair, as aisles were impossible to navigate during the time we were there.

Our server was OUTSTANDING! Our group of four had two Porterhouse for 2. Both were succulent! We had lobster mac and au gratin potatoes. Perfect. Nicely priced and tasting Cappola Pinot Noir. The bread pudding was a great ending.

Had dinner last night. Joel was our waiter and he did a really great job. Had one minor issue with our food, but it was taken care of right away. Always good, esp the Seattle location.

Unbelievable steaks, and side dishes. atmosphere very high scale, service tremendous. Wonderful meal.

We have breakfast here every time we are in Seattle. Always great service and delicious food . Very spacious can fit large parties with ease. It is connected to the Hyatt Grand.

Our first visit to Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. It’s located in the Grand Hyatt hotel. Very cool, clubby vibe. Probably the best Caesar salad ever! Steaks incredible as were the sides. Service impeccable! Kevin our waiter was great! The service and food were beyond compare. However and this may sound petty. The carpet was filthy! Both of us noticed it as soon as we entered and using two different sets of stairs! The RC experience was A+, just clean the carpet.

Smarter than imagined. Friendly staff, service was good, great steak enjoyable evening. Expensive when consider other places to eat, but would they produce a better steak?

The service was OK, but my husband is handicapped and, although he could do the stairs, they sent him around to an elevator that led to nowhere. Once we got to our table, the service was fine. The food selection was good, but the food itself tasted very.Meh.

Yet again we have enjoyed Ruth Chris’. So great to be able to go there after a late flight, given it was located in our hotel (Grand Hyatt). Filet was the highlight; I could not finish the 11 in. Beware of the waiter choosing your wine. Ours picked a $25 by the glass red, which was at the high end of pricing; there were plenty of lovely wines and a better price. Our fault for being lazy, of course!

Classy place throughout New York to Kona. We sat in the Seattle location for cocktails for a late night happy hour. Just a very nice place.

In Seattle on business and stayed in hotel just a stones throw from here so decided to try it (after checking reviews). Went for the fillet with chips. Huge portion of chips. Nice big steak that was well cooked but not the tastiest and not blown away- not the cheapest either. Glad i tried it but wouldn’t hurry back.

Came with a party of 8 while on vacation visiting Seattle. It was also a 29th wedding anniversary dinner for me and my wife. We arrived on time for reservation and was seated almost immediately with an acknowledgement of the anniversary ( great ). The restaurant is very appealing to the eye if you like low light and darker tones, which I do. Our table was round, in a good location and was set up very nice. Very impressive! The only negative as far as the building goes is the multiple seating levels requiring the navigation of stairs. A true negative if you have mobility issues. Here is a list of the positives and negatives. Positive: > Decor > lighting / table setting > staff nicely dressed > steak was rated about a 7 of 10 ( mildly chewy) tried to request between med - med well. Negatives: > stairs inside > never seemed connected with our server > server had to be reminded a couple of times about request > the big one was that none in the group felt impressed by the food. The sides in particular were horribly amateurish. Tasted like boxed potatoes and canned spinach. The bread and butter were okay. A true sign of a not so good meal is when no one takes home the leftovers and nearly 100% of your party has negative comments afterwards. Hopefully it was just an off night, because we have had positive experiences at other RC locations. The bottom line is that if I was to ever return to Seattle, I would probably seek out one of the other steak options in town for another perspective.

We were staying at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle and dropped in for a glass os wine after our dinner out with friends. I was at the bar alone waiting for my husband. Three bar tenders looked at me walked passed me and didn’t say a word. After about 5 minutes one bar tender said I’ll be with you in a minute. Never came back. My husband arrived and we sat for another 5 minutes. Horrible customer service. They were busy but there were 3. bartenders at a fairy small bar with only two other people at the bar.

My wife and I were visiting from FL and were celebrating our 36th Anniversary. We always got to Ruths' Chris for our Anniversary. This location in the heart of downtown Seattle was bustling with people. After being seated, it took our waiter close to 10 minutes before taking our drink order and another 15 minutes to get our Iced tea to the table. We waited another 15 minutes or so before he came back to take our entree orders. The food was delicious, as always, but the inattentive service was not befitting Ruth's Chris's standards.

This was my first experience to have breakfast at RC. No waiting, plenty of seating. There were several set menu choices for breakfast. I selected the Continental. The serving was huge with a total of 6 portions of bread, cakes and pie. Coffee and apple juice were also included in the set menu. Great place for breakfast and good value for money. BONUS.. You get 3 hours parking at the Grand Hyatt next door for just $10 if your eat at RC.

I was entertaining clients in Seattle. The food is consistently good at Ruth’s Chis as you might expect. What really sets this location apart is the engaged and professional waitstaff. They enjoy each other and their guests. Be sure to request the real McCoy. He is a fantastic waiter and a wonderful person.

My husband and I are from NOLA and we are used to excellence from Ruth Chris. This restaurant did not appoint. We arrived almost at closing time and Irving, manager graciously seated us and said “let us take care of you” after a 14 hour drive, it felt like home. Our server Simon took care of us without making us feel rushed. The food was excellent as always. Thank you Irving and Simon for making our arrival to Seattle feel so welcoming. Who Dat!

My family has a tradition of going to Seattle every December for an overnight stay. We have done this for over 5 years and every year we have had brunch at Ruth Chris and we would never choose anywhere else. The food is delicious, service amazing, and a nice calm atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Ruth's Chris remains at the top because its quality steaks never change. Perfection is the name of the game here. Excellent quality beef cooked to perfection. Great service. Expensive but worth it.

This restaurant is attached to the Grand Hyatt Hotel. We went in for a drink with a view to eating there as well. We sat at the bar and after a few minutes, a guy appeared and complained that the rest of the staff had deserted him so he would have to serve us. A great welcome! Although the bar was empty, there was no chit-chat from the barman and he disappeared to chat with other employees. We could here the conversation and it was mainly complaining about other employees and the bosses. The restaurant was not full, only a few tables occupied, but the staff conversation really put us off. Decided to eat elsewhere in a place with a more pleasant atmosphere. We will never know if the food was good but service and atmosphere is important.

I would never return here . I have been to many Ruth Chris . The place was loud and disorganized . Our waiter gave no service . He dropped our food off and never came back at all . Someone else wrapped our food and I never was asked if I wanted a drink or if our food was ok. It was horrible . I told the assistant manager and he did nothing but apologize . Don’t go here if you want better service go to a fast food place . Our steak and lamb was not up To par with other Ruth Chris .

I've had great success in the past but it's been a couple years since I went to Ruth's Chris Seattle for the happy hour. There were four of us December 2019. We got there at 4 PM and sat in the bar. We ordered the prime rib sliders and the spicy shrimp and the Ahi Tuna. They were not good. The sliders came out with one paper thin slice of meat completely well done and over salted. The tuna was so salty we could not eat it. We each had a drink (four of them), the happy hour manhattan was made with a very low end whisky and a vermouth no one had heard of so we all ordered premium drinks. I was embarrassed that this was my suggestion. My manhattan tasted almost entirely like vermouth and I didn't finish it. We were very hungry but no one wanted to order any more Happy Hour dishes so we ordered a $61 (before tax and tip) and asked them to slice it up so we could share. It was just OK. Again, it was very heavy on the salt. I'm sorry, but this night, it was bad. The only thing any of us (four people) liked was the Cesar salad. I cannot recommend this place any more.

We finished a busy day in a Seattle wanting a simple but upscale and relaxing dinner. We enjoy Ruth’s Chris when we have one available. We had filet and wedge salads, shared a perfectly prepared one pound potato and had a great glass of wine. Our service was very prompt, efficient, and friendly! This is a great dinner spot, especially if you are staying at the Grand Hyatt.

Just arrived in Seattle for first time. Wanted a drink after a long day, and this place is right across the street from where we were staying. Cannot rate the food, as we didn’t eat here, but service was slow for a quiet bar. Drinks were good but the worst part was after we paid the bill (in cash) we were chased down and yelled at across the street because we hadn’t paid the tab! Totally embarrassing, how about communicating with the one that served us and we had paid before accusing us of not paying. We are here for 5 days and will not try Ruth’s Chris while here, and no I will not reach out to you directly and give you a contact number.

great service and environment, along with great drink specials. the pom martini was flavorful and light. and the 9 dollar spicy shrimp, amazing.

Had a couple of dinners there on a recent Seattle visit , fish was good steaks were great . Ashley was a complete delight , an attentive but not overbearing server Twice they didn’t have the wine we requested from the wine list but were able to make a decent substitution.

Given the cost, I truly expected better. The steaks are good (well seasoned, served on a sizzling hot plate). Sides are OK (but nothing outstanding). Unfortunately I wasn't particularly enthused with their service in the bar area - perhaps short staffed? Menu items in the bar are very limited after 10pm.

I work very hard for my money ; and given the restaurant business is so competitive ; when I am spending in excess of 500 bucks for a dinner for four I expect near perfection. My experience was far from that. Where should I start ? Took 20 minutes just to get water. Took over one hour to get our meals. Overcooked and salty steaks. Lukewarm soup. Runny potatoes. And a manager that appeared disinterested.

8 time we have been to Ruth Chris in four different cities and we still love it ... we usually have the classic 3 course meal. My rib eye was cooked to perfection just how I want it ... I usually ask for medium well just to get it cooked a little better than rare lol ... it’s expensive so just on special occasions and the service and food did not disappoint. I recommend the classic menu and you can always upgrade a side or dessert choice to the items that are on the rest of the menu .

I am only allowing a reluctant 1 star - because my small steak was wonderfully tender, perfectly seasoned and as I requested, plus they provided a round table so it was easy for the 7 of us to chat … and the restaurant ambience was nice, and because the food portions were generous -- when they finally arrived after an hour's wait! But, we made reservations for 7 of us to celebrate 2 of our birthdays April 11th and said so with our reservations and when we arrived. This was my first time to go to a Ruth's Chris Steak House and I was truly looking forward to enjoying my birthday there …… but will never, never go back. Four of those in our party had eaten at other locations of Ruth's Chris and loved the food and the excellent service. But not at this location! They have also vowed to never go back. We were there on time, asked to wait while they "put water on our table". After waiting several minutes, we were seated …. and the table had no water in the glasses yet and one wine glass was missing. - menus came quickly and within a couple of minutes a waiter rushed over and asked for all of our food orders (did not even ask for our drink orders first). - after about 15 minutes, those of us who ordered the House Salad were disappointed in its scarce contents and careless quality. Obviously a grabbed big handful of assorted lettuce out of a bag, plopped on the plate with a few slivers of red onion on top and four very small halves of cherry tomato at the edge of the plate. I requested their Ranch dressing, which was put on top (not enough) and tasted absolutely bland - no taste at all or even a hint of vinegars or seasonings. Really? Usually a "House Salad" has other appreciated contents, like bits of cucumber, bell peppers, croutons, etc., etc. ….. but these were tasteless and done on the cheap. - the waiter did bring some excellent warm bread with butter - and that was very good. - however, our guests had to catch him to ask for coffees while they waited. The regular coffee came with a little pot of coffee. The decaf coffee came in a cup and that guest was never offered a refill - at all. She finally asked for a refill when her food eventually arrived. - the lack of service was deplorable and inexcusable. After the "salads", we sat for almost an exact HOUR waiting for our entrees. No one came to say they were sorry or to explain the delay. The waiter was never in sight. - We saw a few other waiters in other parts of the restaurant and people bussing other tables …. but no one ever approached us. - The Restaurant Manager, in his stylish suit, wandered around and never noticed the complete lack of service or attention to our table and a few others. He did not once step back to see what was happening, and not happening, in the restaurant. - Finally, after being in the restaurant (which was NOT at all crowded and had lots of empty tables) for an hour and a half - just waiting …. we were served our entrees. Then the waiter disappeared again. No one returned to see if everything was OK - no one offered to fill up coffee cups or water. - While we all waited for the HOUR before they served our food, you can bet this group of experienced diners both in fun and fine restaurants had plenty of negative things to say about the total lack of service and any bit of attention by any of the staff members. And speaking of all of our wonderful experiences and food at the other actually great Seattle restaurants, like Daniel's Broiler, Canlis, El Gaucho and other steak houses and delicious ethnic restaurants. - And their knowing we were trying to celebrate two birthdays, there was no mention by the staff, never an offer of a birthday dessert, not even an offhand - oh by the way "Happy Birthday" - nothing. Certainly not typical in any restaurant. - We finally had to literally grab the attention of the Receptionist as she rushed by (no waiters in sight) …. and asked her to find our waiter, to bring our bills, because we were leaving. Then the waiter came, we paid and left-- never to return to this Ruth's Chris location ……. and frankly, I will never take a chance on their other locations either. So, if you're thinking of a special lunch, dinner or any type of celebration --- I do NOT recommend Ruth's Chris Steak House. Our birthday lunch was a fiasco and utterly disappointing. The restaurant manager there should be ashamed.

Decided to meet up with friends for a meal here, the food was quite excellent, although the service did leave a little to be desired, as in fact I have found at others of the chain. Overall a pleasant if expensive experience.

Nothing amazing or warranting such an expense, sad to say. I had to send my filet mignon back because it was horribly over-cooked. My son was finished with his meal by the time my food returned. The hollandaise sauce with the asparagus was a gelatinous goop that was wholly unappealing, but the asparagus and broccoli were cooked well enough. Although, I must state again, they don't do anything spectacular or different than I do at home, including even using spices. Add to that how we saw our waiter once and had to get the nice gentleman who kept refilling our water to flag him down for us, and the entire experience was woefully lacking and seriously over-priced.

We had a delightful meal, Ahi Tuna as a starter and Lamb Chops for one and fillet steak for the other, sadly no room for a desert . Excellent food, great service

My grandparents love Ruth's Chris and go every year for their birthdays. Typically I join them, but I moved out of state and had to miss this year. I called ahead to let the Manager know that they were coming in and I'd like to buy them a few drinks. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make their night special. I'm absolutely amazed by how he added personal touches throughout the evening to make sure they knew they were cared for. My grandma was in tears and just so touched by the experience. Sounds like the food was 5-star as well! (From past experience I can highly recommend the shrimp appetizer too!)

We went for the fixed price lunch menu before we headed for the airport. Have to say it was really nice.

Outstanding atmosphere and food. The finest Ruth Chris experience to date. The Seafood, Raviolis, and Salad were magical.

We spent a few days in down town Seattle across from the Hyatt (where Ruth Chris is located). Always managed to make their Happy Hours. Nice selection of drinks and eats. Good breakfast too. Great service. Thanks!

I always return to this place year after year as I consider it one of the best steakhouse and has a waiter that always recognizes me and makes me feel the most important customer ever. His name is Jason and he is fabulous. He is the reason I always go to this place when I visit Seattle and Bellevue.

Have to admit that the white chocolate bread pudding is over the top good! The steaks were cooked perfect and the lobster( which was hard to find in Seattle) was very well prepared.

We eat at Ruth’s Chris regularly so the food was delicious, as usual. We were pleasantly surprised with the service. They put rose petals on our table and gave us free Champaign and dessert. They made us feel really special and contributed to a fun night!

We stayed for dinner at the end of our holiday here. The meat was excellent and sumptuous. The side dishes are so big that we didn't make it all.

Very good service at this fine dining establishment. Very good cowboy rib eye steak. A bit pricey but if you are looking for a fine dining establishment then is place might be for you.

Had a superb meal here last week. The steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection , The meat was of the highest quality and extremely tasty. Our server provided exceptional service and ensured that we were served in good time for our show in the nearby theatre. Granted it was a little pricey- but as the saying goes" you only get what you pay for " and it was certainly worth it!

Had an amazing dinner here. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Cece was my server and was extremely professional, welcoming and skilled at her job. Would definitely come back.

Had the signature bone in filet. Like butter. Took a business guest from Italy who has never been to the States and of course he wanted a steak. There was no other place to take him. Service was awesome as well.

Happened to be nearby during Happy Hour times and dropped in to enjoy their wonderful refined menu for a couple of late afternoon hours each day, Monday through Friday. What a great deal! Ordered their Rocks Rita (special Margarita) which was strong, very tasty and potent. Kudos to my server John T. So good, I ended up ordering 2 of them. Between the drinks, I thoroughly enjoyed what appeared to be a 6oz prime ground beef cheeseburger with bacon on a fresh, wonderful bun with lettuce, tomato and red onion. Fabulous!! Add in some homemade freshly cut fries on the side, and bingo, I was totally happy. Hope to get back and try some of the remaining items at another Happy Hour here. There's lots of competition in Downtown Seattle in the HH space. Ruth's Chris is very high up on the list, in my opinion.

Went in on Friday night about 9:20pm for some drinks and appies. Just my husband and myself. The couple that walked in after us from another door got to the hostess first. They were seated immediatly with a drink order taken and delivered before we were seated. The restaurant was 85+% empty. When she finally came back the hostess was cold and snobbish. We were seated and brought bread. No drink order was taken. A few minutes later my husband went to the restroom. While he was gone for 2 minutes the waitress came over and awkwardly said she wpuld come back when he came back. She didnt come back. The menu in the window showed happy hour from 9pm-1am. We were not given this menu. I went to the host desk and couldn't see one there either. I counted 9 people dressed like wait staff walking around. There were not 9 tables with customers at them. After 25 minutes of being ignored, we left and went to the Cheesecake Factory which we had never been to. We were greated and seated immediately. We had a temporary waitress while the waiter was on break. All 3 we interacted with were pleasant and genuine. 5 stars for Seattle Cheesecake Factory. 0 stars to Ruths Chris.

Had the please to have a nice family dinner celebrating my birthday, my wife choose Ruth knowing that I like good stake at in a fine dining atmosphere, the service was great, we had a lot of food time and a. Great conversation with the servers.

We decided fairly last minute to go here for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. No problem with getting a reservation. It was my first time at a Ruth Chris restaurant and I was not disappointed! Victoria was our server and she was wonderful. Friendly, attentive and helped make our celebration special. Loved the 3 course classic special getting us the appetizer main with the side and a dessert for a special price. I would def be back!

Had dinner here a couple of days ago. The ambience is great as is the staff. I wasn’t too blown over by the food. Plus the portions were a bit sickening (too large!). For the price I would def go to other restaurants.

Went here for a business dinner. Absolutely fantastic meal. Great steak, good menu. Decent pricing. Impeccable waiting staff. Good drinks. One of my favorite steaks I have ever had.

We were told this was a place to go if you like your meat. They were not wrong. The size of the steaks were amazing, Yes the meals are expensive as you then pay for any add on's. Having said that we did the meal that was at a set cost and you were given an Entree, Main and Dessert. All of it tasted fabulous. I enjoyed watching the staff cooking as it was an open kitchen. Great variety on the menu too.

We have been to a Ruth chris steak restaurant before, so we're aware of the quality of the steak. The food was great, and the restaurant was local to our hotel. We felt rushed at the end (the restaurant was not full) and the check arrived before my husband had finished his dinner. We had only been in there 1hr. When he asked about the beer selection the waitress said she didn't drink beer.. So he went to the bar, and the barman was very helpful.

Food was good as expected and dining room table service was professional. Unfortunately, the visible dress code signage at the entrance is ignored. Too many patrons were dressed for a meal at Burger King or perhaps had just pulled a shift working at an RV sales lot. I mean....used & tired blue jeans, shirts with no collars and yes, baseball caps. I told the manager how I felt about this when he had stopped at our table to solicit comments. He just took a defensive posture and walked away. We were not looking for Texas Roadhouse that night, just something for a couple to celebrate upscale a vacation stop in Seattle.

As always, Ruth’s Chris never fails to disappoint. Have been to other’s and this one is just as nice. Service was excellent, steak prepared perfectly and attached to Grand Hyatt. Highly recommend.

Celebrated my birthday and service was excepcional . Loved the cowboy ribeye with bernaise sauce! Calamari was non traditional and fantastic. Our server Nelson was the best. Highly recommend for special occasions.

We go to Ruth's Chris in San Diego for special occasions. We were in Seattle for my birthday and chose this restaurant for dinner. We expected excellent service and food and we were not disappointed. The host, Olivier, seated us promptly and John and Luca did a wonderful job of serving. The steak was perfectly cooked; sides were tasty and fresh fruit desert was delicious. Portions were generous. In addition, unlike many restaurants in Seattle where a mandatory 20% service charge is tacked on, Ruth's Chris has no such charge allowing us to leave a generous tip-more than the server would have received with the mandatory surcharge. Thanks Ruth's Chris for a wonderful birthday dinner.

My wife and I had a truly wonderful meal last night and with excellent service. I had the filet that it was cooked perfectly. I had thought it was cooked with only salt, pepper and clarified butter. However, I woke up in the middle of the night and it’s continued throughout this day with an MSG heartbeat and headache that I’ve experienced before and try to avoid. I had not expected this and will definitely not return to a Ruth Chris steakhouse again.

We really tried to love our dinner out before the Vikings game. We really did. I started this account to write in depth reviews of the best steakhouses in the country while following my Vikings in our retirement years. Had dinner here Saturday night after spending a weekend in Dallas. I don't know if it's that we just went from Dallas to Seattle, or whether this place is just lacking... What a joke. Amazingly amateur service that doesn't hold a candle to restaurants that take service seriously (won't mention names here), overcooked steaks, and unprofessional wine service come to mind. I'd happily spend 4x the money for a better experience. In fact, I genuinely wish that I had! Skip it. You're welcome.

I must admit I chose this place based on its location. But oh my. I was dubious with a 40 dollar steak but went for it. Hands down the best steak I have ever eaten. The only downside is I am now sad I cant get a ruth chris steak in my hometown. Service was top notch and food was out of this world.

We had a 7:00 reservation. We ordered a bottle of wine at the bar first. Then we sat at a nice table. Ordered ny strip steak and we were told they ran out. The manager came over when he heard we were upset. He was not apologetic but did offer the bone in ny strip for the same price. Really, come on Ruth's Chris. You shouldn't run out of steak. Overall a lack luster experience.

A great way to sample the most delectable entrees on the menu is to sit at the bar during HAPPY HOUR and order from the menu. They SLASH the prices on the entrees (in an effort to introduce customers to their favorite dishes. They serve sirloin sliders, seafood dishes, and signature drinks at a FRACTION of the price you would pay in the dining room and the portions are about the same. The happy hour menu items are delivered directly to the bar and are not accompanied by any side dishes, but it's still a wonderful and economical way to experience Ruth;s Chris Steak House signature entrees without waiting for a table or paying dining rom prices. We generally go with a small group and order several of the items and share while we have a cocktail or two. This particular location is ideal, it's right on Pine street and nearby to many of Seattle's attractions. The bar is down one level, take care on the stairs, they are steep. Settle in for a relaxing and tantalizing taste treat!

Excellent food as always. Seemed overpriced for what you got, but its beneath a hyatt so that was to be expected.

Here for a company event. While they handled the event well, the food was overall slightly above average. For a steak place, I would say below average steak. Not enough sear but cooked medium as ordered. Frankly I can make an equal or better steak at home.

I went here for dinner on a Monday night. It wasn’t very crowded. They do check vaccination cards. I ordered the shrimp cocktail which is the best anywhere. Next up was the cowboy ribeye which was great. A solid meal with good service.

Ruth Chris is located within the Grand Hyatt. So it’s convenient to go here for breakfast when we are staying at the Hyatt, once or twice a year. It’s always disappointing for breakfast, more so Dec. 2nd 2018. I’m not quite sure why they ask you how you want your eggs done, they are never close. I ordered a well done English muffin, for my toast. It was like they hadn’t even put it in the toaster . Needing to find a new breakfast spot.

Steaks are consistently delicious at Ruth Chris. Showed up at lunch on a very slow lunch service. Food and drinks took an inordinate amount of time to arrive. Our waiter, Zaheer, needs some training on checking in on tables at a more regular rate. Female buster was more helpful than anybody. If you go for lunch and you’re in a hurry, be prepared to wait.

I decided to visit this steakhouse in downtown Seattle because of the proximity to my hotel. I read other reviews and noted the varied opinions. We were greeted warmly at the reception and was seated promptly at the upper level with a street view. Our server team of Chandra and Eric greeted us quickly and served the bread right the way. The menu was explained as we were first time customers. Chandra let us know that everything is a la carte, typical of a traditional steakhouse. She further explained that the steaks are served on a 500 degree plate, so the sides cannot be put on the same plate. My wife chose the crabmeat stuffed mushroom as the appetizer and the Chilean sea bass as entree. I chose the Ruth’s Chris Classic with choice of appetizer, main course, a side dish and dessert for a great price. The appetizers were served shortly after our order was placed and the entrees were served five minutes after we finished our appetizers. Indeed the 11 oz. filet and sea bass were served on a very hot plate. That allowed me to enjoy the steak with ample time. By the time we finished the main courses, we were completely stuffed and barely had room to enjoy the cheesecake. The wine list was extensive and organized by grape varietals and country. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The price was high but in line with other steakhouses or fine dining restaurants.

I was surprised to find out this restaurant was open for breakfast. It was attached to the hotel I was staying at and one morning I noticed people headed in that direction. I followed the group and ended up staying for breakfast. Service was, as expected, great and on top of that my breakfast was terrific. I ate here the last two days I was in Seattle.

Having visited the restaurant two times in three days, the experience wasn't good. Being dismissed by the waiter, having the check presented while still having dinner, or having to eat with the floor full of glass, won't get me back for sure! If we were Americans maybe they had shown a bit more respect, not sure.. Good meat, but that's all!

I enjoy the tasteful atmosphere and good service. The location is convenient to shopping, hotels and theater. I am always greeted and the staff is very professional. There are similar restaurants in Seattle but this is less crowded. I would encourage anyone with special date to consider the atmosphere and service as a plus for any couple.

The steaks are what they are known for and we were not the least bit disappointed with our Ribeye. But we really have to acknowledge the lobster Mac & Cheese and Bread pudding dessert. Lobster Mac is definitely enough portion wise and the taste definitely compliments the exceptional steaks being served. Have not been a fan of bread pudding before but this place has one that definitely is worth a try.

Excellent menu choices. Fast friendly service. We thoroughly enjoyed all the vegetable side dishes and appetizers.

Went to Ruth's for Christmas Eve. Fantastic service by all. Food was wonderful. Evening ended with snow falling.

Aisha was a super host and Zaheer was a great waiter - the price fix lunch menu is a great deal and delicious

You cant go wrong at Ruths Chris. Great restaurant for any occasion. Food was excellant. No reservation. Maybe waited 5 min. The only thing I didnt like was you had to go to the hotel to use the bathroom and you had to get a key card from the front desk. It was a hassel and a long walk

We’re staying at the Grand Hyatt Seattle and we were so happy to find Ruth’s Chris Steak House right in the Hotel. We booked dinner for our 87 , going on 47 dear friend. Our waitress Catherine provided excellent service and the manager was very friendly and checked in with us during our meal. The food was absolutely OUTSTANDING! Two of us ordered the truffle crusted filets, oh my!! My husband ordered the bone in filet. Our side dish, lobster Mac n Cheese was unbelievably decadent and silky smooth. I can’t say enough about this meal, Our dear friend is a world traveler and has eaten high end meals throughout her 87 years. She claims this was the best meal she’s ever had, and I absolutely agree. You must try the truffle crusted filet coupled with the lobster Mac!! Outstanding!! We were blown away at the end of our meal when Catherine brought out a beautiful birthday desert and champagne for us. I’m not sure if it was complimentary from the hotel or the restaurant but we were very appreciative. We have eaten at various Ruth Chris’s and are always happy, but Seattle’s at the Grand Hyatt takes 1st place at this point! Our evening couldn’t have been better!!

In full disclosure, this was an online, to go order. The food was okay. Not great, but okay. What I didn't like was the food was ready and sitting on the shelf...even though I got there 10+ minutes before my pick up time. Maybe they need to implement a notification text that let's you know when your order is ready so it's not just sitting there getting cold.

Great service. Perfectly cooked steaks just so tender! lovely side dishes. Prompt and wonderful service.

Loyal customers of this steakhouse chain, we decided to try it in Seattle too. Restaurant located inside the Grand Hyatt hotel downtown near the convention center. As usual, excellent meat and cooking and a significant price.

My first at RC for a long time. The steak was good and the sides delicious. Obviously is very expensive.

Honestly? Mostly mediocre. We were disappointed after hearing so much about this high end steak house. Our appetizers were okay, nothing special but tasty enough. The first bite of steak my friend had was terribly gristly and she found that it was throughout. I had crab cakes and they were ooh…just not “great”. Truly it was a middling experience food wise but our waiter was attentive and personable as well as knowledgeable. We won’t return though, been there, done that.

Here to celebrate my Husbands Birthday. Arrived for reservation and waited over ten minutes. When I asked about timing I was told that I did not have a reservation. ( Having checked earlier in the day) I asked them to check again. We were finally seated. Waiter and wait staff were great. A busy restaurant with the kitchen in the back, there is a great deal of foot traffic, between and around tables. I had the lobster and steak and a salad, that was simply mixed greens. My husband ordered Rib Eye and house Fries. The house fries arrived over cooked and were replaced. Want to thank restaurant for a beautiful Birthday Dessert for my Husband. I had anticipated this meal, as to our first time at a Ruth Chris, it was moderate.

Great steak and very friendly staff but service very slow. Had to ask two or three times to be served and restaurant was not busy. Ordered the cowboy steak. Really good!

I have never eaten a dinner at Ruth Chris' so I decided to give it a go. The filet with bernaise/crab/asparagus and the side of mushrooms was fabulous. The steak was perfectly done. I had the bread pudding for dessert and it easily would have fed two. But all of this comes at a very, very steep price. Throw in a couple of martinis and I was well over $150! So if you want to splurge or have a great expense account dinner, this is the place

I went for an evening meal with my OH at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse during our stay at the Grand Hyatt hotel. Despite the restaurant's annoying name, which is quite off-putting, it was actually a very enjoyable experience. The restaurant is quite formal, in the sense that it provides a fine-dining experience with white linen tablecloths and silver cutlery. However, the staff were polite and friendly, which made the meal quite relaxed. I had a steak which was superbly cooked (medium rare) and was beautifully tender and flavoursome. My OH really enjoyed the cocktail served with her meal. Overall, it was quite an expensive meal, but provided a memorable fine-dining experience, and the restaurant is a good choice for special occasions.

The steak quality was great. You need to select good balance side dishes and you will enjoy your meal. Great selection of cocktails. Service was outstanding, and has a convenience location too.

Went here for a business lunch- the wait staff was very hospitable and the steak sandwich with bearnaise sauce was delicious -the black and blue salad got rave reviews from others in our party as did the filet. Not sure why we had to wait 45 minutes for the food after ordering-the restaurant was not full and we didn’t order anything too complicated. On the plus side, it gave us time to discuss business before the food was served ( hate trying to have a business conversation while eating) . The wait is the only reason it didn’t get a five star review.

Staying at the Grand Hyatt this restaurant was so convenient. From the moment we entered the restaurant we received first class service. From the beautiful table setting to the elegantly dressed and friendly team. Great suggestions from our lovely waitress. The pecan crusted sweet potato was great and I doubt I would have ordered it....the steaks were divine and the servings so huge we could not manage a dessert, despite really wanting one. 1st class experience from start to finish. Thank you.

Was expecting more from this restaurant. Front of house staff very helpful. Food and drinks were ridiculously overpriced, food was average but nothing special, service was mediocre. Sorry but won't be visiting again.

A friend recommended Ruth's and how have I not been here before?! Ordered the mixed grill, came with a crab cake, steak, tomato and stuffed chicken. Delicious! No need for a knife to cut into the steak, it just breaks off easy. Too good!
Sub-par
Out of the RC steakhouse I have been to this was the worst experience. It was not an elevated experience go elsewhere. Service and food not to standard!
