Great People and Atmosphere

By elizaboo82 |

I've eaten, drank and filmed a commercial here! It's a great place. The staff and management are exceptional and the drinks are tasty!

Bruce the manager rocks

This is the place to go for happy hour or Sunday brunch. The sangria hits the spot, the sliders are delicious, the brunch bacon divine. The staff is warm and friendly and it really is a place "where everybody knows your name." I recommend that with the sliders you aren't forced to get fries but have an option of fruit or a salad. I also feel the happy hour menu should offer some newer items from time to time. Overall however this place leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy so I can't give it less than 5 stars. Great for both tourists and local residents.

Close to Pantages

By CSS9112014 |

the salmon was really good. I wish they had bake potatoes . We had the parm and garlic fries they were really good. Nice waiter. Thought their food was a little over priced for sandwiches such as their chicken sandwich with fries was 14.00. The mix drinks were a little high i thought for happy hour but the beer and wine was a good price. We liked it.

Great brunch

By clubnev |

We came here to watch a football game; this is a NFL viewing location for a an NFL team on Sundays. The brunch was one of the better ones I've ever had. We had a waffle with fresh berries, and a twist on eggs benedict. Both very good. The Bloody Mary's are fantastic. They give you a menu to customize your drink down to the type of mix, spices, veggies, etc. Very nice. Service was very good.

Russian Roulette Why bother

By Sam A |

Had been once, went back, encountered the manager from HELL: Logan. Rude, condescending. We were seated in patio but at 7:40 tables started to be cleaned, folded and stacked-LOUDLY while we were still eating. Complained to LOGAN and were told patio closes at 8, we should have known and besides we were done eating and waiting for our check...we were? At the front counter other employees sympathized and told us she did have a attitude issue and made their lives miserable. So while the food/drinks were good and prices were not bad the possibility something could happen is there, check the one star yelp reviews.

Poor Service and No Bloody Mary’s For Us

By Ross G |

We were staying around the corner from the St Felix. We stopped for a pre-dinner drink because it had a prominent sign indicating that it served great Bloody Marys. We sat outside in the lane and ordered three bloody marys only to be told that they don’t serve bloody mary’s on a Thursday! The service went. down hill from there. We left after one drink. Disappointing For a full video featuring footage of hotels, restaurants, and other tourist traps see other postings on Tripadvisor or see our trip to South America @roscoand mikey on twitteror go to youtube and search for Rosco and Mikey, go to Anamorphica Productions logo click and subscribe

Bar

Great little bar with friendly staff. Owner was very congenial. Went for New Year’s Eve. Everyone had a great time. Recommend this stop while in Hollywood.

Happy Hour Heaven

By xprsoqn |

Looks like a hole-in-the-wall from the outside, but there's a beautiful and full bar inside, nicely decorated and dimly lit atmosphere. We came specifically for the Happy Hour since it got good reviews and St Felix did not disappoint !! The food was tasty, the cocktails were not watered down and the prices were very reasonable. Best Happy Hour we encountered during out LA stay !!

Great Neighborhood haunt for drink and casual & hip eating

By Nancy D |

Great place to grab a cocktail and food in the Hollywood area. Happy hour is everyday from 4-8. 1/2 drinks and there is a happy hour menu. We ordered from the regular menu - three various sliders for $14. Very tasty. The music in the bar was loud so we opted for sitting in the outdoor patio with a heater. Service was very good. Nice decor in the bar. Street parking at meters. I would return here.

Sunday brunch is my favorite

By michallec |

Sundays are my favorite to enjoy brunch with the farmers market right outside the door. Sip on a customized bloody Mary made by Chad and enjoy delectable brunch and shopping at the market

Cleveland Bar in LA

By Brian M |

Really good drink menu. Try Stockholm Syndrome. Also, for bar, excellent food. Had sliders, Thai Deviled Eggs and both tasty. Really nice food and atmosphere in a Hollywood. Service was friendly and attentive. Plan on making this a go to in Hollywood.

Weho staple

By Jee ess |

I've come here several times. I enjoy the atmosphere more than anything. The food wasn't anything special, but I've only tried a few items. Also gotta said the happy hour is pretty cool. This palce has also been here a while, so I think of it as a staple sort of place. Service has always been excellent and on par whether at the bar or on a date. I'd say GO!

It's Happening

By TheBeachUnicorn |

Strolled in for after dinner drinks with friends and sat at the bar. The bartenders were genuinely happy and friendly, and we loved the music. It's a place we will surely return.

Fun , delicious and great service

By sansa31 |

This place was in a great location. The menu was diverse. Something for everyone. My flaming Margarita was delicious. I love the atmosphere and there is a patio when it is nice weather . What we will remember is the awesome service from Tess.... Her name is longer then that but you will know if you get her awesome service . Have fun...short distance to walk of fame and Dolby theatre.

Fun menu fun place and great service

By Deanna M |

Went with friends to St. Felix for dinner before heading to the Pantages to see Hamilton. The restaurant is easy walk from Metro and theatre. The restaurant is a dimly lit romatic if you are with the "one". I was with three friends so ....anyway we got the sampler platter and about 5 sides. The mac and cheese is great, the chicken tacos are like have never had before; wonderful blend of spices. Ahi sliders were great as was the beef slider. Lettuce cups were yummy as well. Let's move onto the drinks, excellent lemon drop martinis and at happy hour price without having to sit at the bar. Our waiter was funny and attentive, helpful with describing the menu items. High ly recommend.

Fun and great staff

By krisgils33 |

We sat in the outdoor alleyway and it’s fun and cheery with tons of flowers and plants. The food is very good. The staff is amazing.

Cozy place for casual dining and drinks.

Very cozy place and the best in it’s surroundings. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t tried the food. Comfortable parking spots are easy to find upon the evening.

Great food

By samstulowe |

We had been recommended to come and eat here the atmosphere was buzzing. The menu has a good selection too. Excellent and quick service as we advised we were off to the cinema. The chicken and waffles were amazing and definitely worth a try.

Super Bowl Stop Over

By eben8868 |

We had to find a bar to hang and watch the Super Bowl on a recent business trip. What a great spot. Good drinks, good food, great atmosphere and decent prices.

Great hangout

By erawson77 |

We started our night here. The drinks were decent, prices were better than many places. There are a few clubs close by that are easy to walk to. We did not try the food but it looked and smelled amazing. Music was good too.

Great time, will return

By darrenesl |

Had a great pre-show Meal at Saint Felix on a Saturday evening. From the moment we arrived things went well. The hostess was friendly and led us to a great table in the rear of the restaurant. The service was prompt with our server was doing a great job of spacing the food out that we had ordered. All of the dishes were flavorful and the prices really good for Los Angeles. They even have a happy hour seven days a week. Great job Saint Felix. We will definitely be returning for many more visits.

hidden gem

Amazing spot in Hollywood with a great ambiance and excellent service. The drinks and food are quite good, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!

Nice happy hour

By WeekendWoman |

We often go to the theater in Hollywood and enjoy heading there early for a happy hour. Most of the places we've found end their happy hours at either 6 or 7, with most theatre showings starting at 8. So we were delighted to learn that this place had happy hour from 4pm to 8pm and tried it out. We parked near the Pantages and walked to the location - loved the ambience, looked fun and a happening place to be, although it was a little dark for an early evening. Anyway, we were seated in a booth right away, had a very friendly waitress (Marissa, I think?) and ordered half price drinks for starters. They had no problem making an Old-Fashioned without the simple syrup as requested, and the Firecracker was the best of its kind I have ever had! The food was decent, a tiny slider and fries for $6. The mushroom risotto croquettes were disappointing, didn't really have much flavor, but the mac and cheese was rich and pretty tasty. The braised beef nachos were by far the favorite of our group - crispy, plenty of flavorful beef - simple but very well done. Would definitely return!

AMAZZZZZING!

By KayeKo |

We stopped in here to meet a friend while in LA for a day. It was such a gem. The atmosphere was exactly what I love in a bar. Good bartenders and a great patio. The drinks were mind blowing. Get the Stockholm Syndrome, you won't regret it! The And then there is the food! Not what you expect in a bar. The food was delicious!!!! It will be my first stop next time I'm in town. We shared the ceviche appetizer, it was so yummy. A little bit spicy but not to bad and the chips were homemade. We may have licked the bowl, it was so good. For my meal I got the hillbilly chicken special. Best chicken I've ever had, but I'm not sure the name is fitting. It had this amazing southwestern spice blend and there were black beans and corn as well as mashed potato heaven. My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich, and he gobbled it up and said it was the best chicken sandwich he had ever had. They even did a sandwich with no bread wrapped in lettuce for my friend who needs to eat gluten free. And then there was dessert. Fluffy cheesecake with a berry topping and a fancy s'more dessert with ice cream. Yum!!!!

Great food and service near the Pantages Theatre

By Anna Beth G |

A group of 8 women were going to see the Donna Summer show at the Pantages lst night (Tues 11/519) and wanted to find some place to meet for food and cocktails prior to the show and we found this place. The ambiance is not that great and it's pretty loud so we were a little "disappointed" at 1st. however, our server was fantastic and was very attentive, multi-talented (juggled food and cocktails) and very nice. the food was absolutely DELICIOUS! Every single thing we ordered was fabulous. I would go here again for sure.

Hollywood sucks but that place is great

Was walking and looking a good thing to eat. I pass by and stoped at saint felix. Good place. Great food. Good service. I was wonder about the goat cheese mashed potato. But it was great.

Great Happy Hour

By SoCal_Josh |

Love the happy hour here, half price drinks and they use good liquor. The food is also good for happy hour. If you are a Buckeye this is the bar for you, they play OSU games on football Saturdays with lots of specials!

Brunch and a bloody Mary is the absolute best

By Paralegal67 |

The freshest of fruit and vegetables for brunch paired with a custom ordered Bloody Mary is a great way to spend the late morning on the weekends! Waiting until later to eat> No problem Kobe Beef sliders or fish tacos will fill you up. Also, you never know who you might see as there are a lot of musicians and other celebrities always handing out. Hollywood farmers market it right outside on the sidewalk.

I Felt so Hip

By RebeccaForster |

It was a long drive on a Sunday night from Palos Verdes to West Hollywood to attend our son's business's anniversary party, but I am so glad we made it. Cahuenga is an ultra-busy street and it took three of us to a spy St. Felix pinched between the other buildings on the street. There was no valet parking but there was a lot across the street. $7 bought a parking space though we didn't think a bicycle could be wedged onto the blacktop. By the time we walked into the restaurant we had caught the energy of the city and were ready for anything. The music was loud, the bar long and the waiter who greeted us charming. He led us out of the main diining room into a quieter backroom that still had that eclectic, young vibe a too-cool-for-school eatery should have. This dining area also had a bar with the added benefit of a patio area where the party eventually landed. Before the festivities began, we had a dinner of small plates: mac 'n cheese, sliders, cubana tacos and jamacian lettuce wraps. Standouts were the sliders and cubana tacos (tacos come in dinner size also). Least favorite were the lettuce wraps. The drink menu was outstanding. Lots of unusual fare to choose from but go for the rasberry mojito. Great presentation and awesome taste. The ambiance is casual, the lighting dim. Loved the wall art of tin ceiling tiles. The light fixtures looked like they once hung in a church. The whole place had a boho chic, reclaimed feeling. Seating is comfortable but I wish there had been some out on the patio because it got awfully hot with a 100 bodies in the back room (must point out it was darn hot all through So. Cal. that day). The wait staff and bartenders could not have been nicer or more attentive. There was no doubt they loved working at St. Felix. The dinner waiter was not only attentive while we ate but took special care of us during the party. They even concoted a fantastic signature "The Green Room Talent Management" drink for the party, taking great pride in the final product. The party was a huge success and a lot of that success was due to the venue. Recommended highly for drinks and parties and wonderful personnel. We're going back to explore the menu a little more and I have a feeling those 4 stars are going to 5 real soon.

Great experience

Most delicious nachoes I've had in a long time. The size was not overwhelming like most places and the amount of ingredients and condiments was perfect! Wish I could I go back! Had some yummy drinks as well, definitely a good spot!

Go for Happy Hour, Stay for Great Music

By Alexa L |

This place has a nice brunch and great happy hour prices. The bartenders make great drinks, the bouncer is the nicest guy in Hollywood, and the DJs are always awesome. The food is a little pricey at night, but it is good. If you get food during happy hour it is crazy reasonably priced!

Great Pub Food & Characters!

By Skip M |

Two couples out for a quick bite and drinks w/o kids. Big joint, very fun and bustling. If you want candles and whispering, this is not your place. Very eclectic and tremendous music track playing in the background. Lots of options on the menu, generally pub inspired fare with some twists. Buffalo wing cauliflower bites; get em! Really god burgers and apps. Saint Felix was a lot of fun, but not a family type place. It’s the kind of pub that if you lived nearby, it’d likely be your regular spot. Go have fun!

Good starting point for the night.

This is where our Hollywood Club crawl began. Nice starting point. We had a few drink specials and shots and then it was time to hit the town. A good first impression no doubt.

Private happy hour event

By Sweet&Salty |

A cool bar with a great Happy Hour in Hollywood area. We actually came here for a private birthday party at the back area where you get an enclosed space with a bar - can accommodate give or take 50 people. First of all, kudos to our bartender who was able to service all of us thirsty and demanding guests with stiff and tasty libations. Their food, too was delicious. I’m talking bar bites like poke nachos, mushroom arancini, skewers, cheese board, and fries. Ordering was made through the one bartender we had and our dishes would just show up shortly right after. Not too shabby. There’s limited street parking but a few options for paid parking ranging from $10-$15 nearby.

Super St. Felix

By MilkmaidTS |

Even from the street, you know this is a super cool place. Great place to rendezvous with friends and family. The hostess was a doll and the waitress was so helpful and fun. Love the "wooden" atmosphere and decor. Feels like it's probably a great locals' Cheers bar. Sliders were great, and there are lots of menu choices to suit anybody's cravings. I will definitely put it on my list of places to remember in Hollywood.
