This is a Hyatt Hotel operation but it has a very local feel. For some reason we mentioned liking opera to our waiter and he sang some opera for us. Good cocktail and wine list.

Great place on the Marina in San Diego. Right at Sea Port Village. Sat in the sun outdoors and enjoyed a terrific lunch.

I thought this would be a perfect restaurant for my family. My kids love sushi and my husband enjoys seafood. We reserved this restaurant well in advance and our table wasn’t quite ready when the hostess told us it would be. Seemed like there were rooms/tables not in use despite the restaurant being very busy. There was slow service once we were seated, so perhaps there was a staffing issue. My husband and I shared a seafood tower. I just didn’t love the shrimp, oysters or crab legs. I had sushi for my entree and that was a little better. They use some interesting ingredients in their sushi rolls. Mine has broccolini in it. My kids enjoyed their sushi as well. If I were to visit the Seaport Village area of San Diego, I might try a different restaurant next time.

We had catch of the day 3 times during our stay. Food was good as was the service. Vegetables were fresh and delicious. It was next door to the Manchester Grand Hyatt which was convenient.

This is a gem for san diego harbor side dining. Our server, drew was amazing, and the food and drink perfect. Sushi super fresh, crab cakes not too bready, and the surf and turf was the best i have ever had. Absolutely worth the high price even for a hotel restaurant. Super strong recommendation!

My friends and wanted fresh seafood and Sally's did not disappoint! The Seafood Tower is pricey but split amongst friends was doable! The service was amazing and the view of the bay was the best!

I ate here twice during a recent stay at the Hyatt. For lunch, I had the seared tuna sandwich. It was wonderful. My companion had a chopped avacado, beet, and seared tuna salad. She loved it. We returned for dinner and shared the apple spinach salad and the paella. Both were very good. The paella was very good. Service was wonderful both times.

The traditional Mojito is very good. The Blackberry Mojito is a definite skip. The Chocolate Sphere dessert was horrible. They pour hot chocolate sauce over a chocolate shell with ice cream inside. The shell site on top of a blondie brownie. The brownie was dry and not worth eating and so it was ice cream with chocolate sauce on top. Nothing special about that.

Very nice terrace, very friendly service. Restaurant that belongs to the Hyatt hotel Good prawn and octopus tacos Ideal for work lunch

Too many little issues ruined our experience. While the restaurant is flexible, it seems that our waiter managed to leave our warm food long enough that they were no longer good to enjoy. A second attempt at the dish was still not good but the waiter did not too very bothered by that. Thankfully, his manager had more care and tried to remedy the situation. All-in-all, a bit disappointing.

Way overpriced for what you are served. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. Look at your tab to notice the extra 5% charge to cover increased labor costs. They should just put it in the food charges to reflect the true price customers are paying.

We arrived in San Diego and walked around Sea Port Village. Having lunch at another restaurant. We came here for dinner and wow what a difference. The food here was very good. We both ordered the fish and chips on the waiter’s recommendation. We both really enjoyed them. Definitely would come back here to eat again.

What a great place to meet for business and complete the Big Deal. Located right on the water with floor to ceiling windows, or dine outside. Menu is diverse, and they offer what they call "The Ultimate Bloody Mary" - which describes it very well. It is more like an appetizer - with jumbo shrimp & lobster included in this great beverage..!

A delightful indoor/outdoor setting with tasty food! Good service, right around the harbor. Will return!

Good service. Beautiful Views and the food was very good. We had appetizers, lunch & drinks. My daughter is vegan and the only option was the quinoa bowl it wasn't very good.

Located on the promenade along the water, we wandered into Sally's while out for a walk by the Marina. It was very busy and very noisy but the food was very good and the service was prompt and friendly. They have a large outdoor terrace with multiple gas heaters but it was a chilly night so we elected to dine inside.

Good atmosphere near the waters but food was disappointing. We sent back the sushi as it was bland and didn't look appetising, there are definitely better sushis out there. The seafood tower was visually impressive but lacked that little oomph. The best dish we had was the scallops, huge scallops seared well.

Enjoyed dining on the patio at Sally's Fish House. The octopus was tasty and service was good. Little bit of a wait to get seated as this is a very popular restaurant

Great seafood and amazing quick service. I went there at 3pm and the barman was very attentive. Fish cooked to perfection

Just strolled down to the marina post conference and came here for a glass of vino. Relaxed atmosphere and welcoming.

very good food, loved the octopus and potatoes salad and the fish paella, the outdoor area was pleasant and well heated in February. Recommended!

During our stay at the Grand Hyatt Manchester, we had the option for a grab and go breakfast at the lobby market or waterfront view at Sally's. Of course we chose Sally's. Due to covid, you get in a long line to order at the register. The wait was about 15 minutes. Then we were given a number, pick a table. Drinks came in about 5 minutes, but the food took about 30 minutes to arrive. The food was good, but the wait was too long, so not sure about recommending this place during covid. Staff was excellent and professional and views were nice.

Loved every minute of it! Beautiful boardwark setting, perfect cocktails, and divine cuisine. The Ahi with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes was extraordinary, and my husband loved the Seafood Paella. Great location and excellent service along San Diego's bayfront. Perfect for a lovely celebration too.

Really good food! I had the crab cake appetizer and my co worker had the burger. The food and service were really good. It was nice to be able to sit outside also!

On our last night of a business trip to San Diego we decided to dine here. It was hands down the best meal we had. It is pricy. If you are having drinks and apps plan on around 200$ but so very well worth it. We had the paella and the Sea bass and it we as more than expected. I highly recommend this place and our waiter Rey was the best part of the experience!

Love this restauant. I went there with my sons and was so impressed with the service, ambiance, and most importantly the food quality. We had the Hamachi and Jalapeño appetizer, highly recommended. For entrees we all got sushi and were blown away!

Beautiful waterfront location on the San Diego Bay. Excellent service. Outdoor heaters to keep you warm in the fall and winter months. Locally-sourced seafood and produce, as well as local craft beers and California wines. Try the Grilled Chilean Sea Bass, one of our diners loved the filet steak as well. Fresh bread served before the meal. Check out the photo of this gluten free dessert. Just delicious! Enjoy the sunset from this location, walking distance from the Manchester Grand Hyatt and Seaport Village. Perfect for couples or large business groups.

We joined Sally’s for late lunch on the outdoor patio, overlooking the bay. The staff were courteous, accommodating and upbeat. For appetizers, we had the tuna poke which was fresh, delicious and innovative, as well as crab cakes which were juicy and flavorful. For the main course, we had the fish and chips which was probably some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (I’m typically not a big eater of fried food). The fish had a perfectly crispy coating and was juicy inside. We asked for sides of pico de gallo and some salsa and the restaurant happily accommodated our request. Our server, Stephanie was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Excelente food, nice place but really disappointed about the waitress. She forgot the drinks and brought the wrong dessert. Should be more careful.

We arranged to meet a friend and colleague here for dinner because it was convenient to both our hotels while we were there for conference. It is part of the Hyatt Hotel there on the marina. We knew it was on the expensive side because of website menus, but the cost of meals was actually $10-20 above the prices listed on the on-line menu. It was OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive—entrées between $40 - $60. We live in a big expensive city and are used to high restaurant prices, but this was far beyond that. The food was good, but not THAT good. Simply not worth the price. Do not go there. A total tourist trap. The crazy thing is that, had they priced things reasonably, we would have spent as much and would have left with positive experience. But this way we each ordered just one drink and ordered the cheapest thing on the menu. Such a negative experience of being ripped off and not being able to enjoy ourselves.

Was at a conference and needed lunch nearby. The staff was very attentive and answered my questions. Decided to get fish tacos and they were so light I felt like it was a good lunch choice.

So many great restaurants in this area of the Gaslamp. But this one stands out not just for the Food but the Service. While attending a conference for 7 days we met Amir Ghasem and Reynaldo Sanches who both made us feel like they knew us for years. made us feel like Locals and Special. The service from them was just outstanding. The food was amazing and you MUST have the fish And Chips. Even if they are not on the dinner menu ask for them. They will make them for you. Light batter, amazing fish!! the best I have ever had. Hats off to you Amir and Reynaldo!

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Sat at the bar, customer service was excellent! Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was the best I’ve had in San Diego. The clam chowder was simple but delicious, the crabcakes were amazing, and the short rib birria flautas were delicious

Nice restaurant, good service, terrible food We went with the family, tried several dishes, but only fish and chips was the best prepared dish. The other dishes came in excess spiced, dry and with bad temperature

I traveled to San Diego for business and happened upon Sally's for lunch one day. I told my waiter I was torn between 2 items on the lunch menu, he said "the fish-and-chips are the very best thing on our menu" a BTW, this was not one of the menu items I was torn between. I took his recommendation and I am so happy I did!!! I have never had fish and chips as phenomenal as I did at Sally's. What set this dish apart from any other that I've had is that the fish was Sea Bass and the coating on the sea bass is reminiscent of a fried chicken coating. It was as if Sea Bass married Fried Chicken and this was their offspring. Hence, this is ABSOLUTELY the VERY BEST fish-and-chips I've ever had. You won't go wrong if you go to Sally's.

You definitely have to dine outdoors, we absolutely loved it. The service and food were amazing. They even cater to dogs; providing lil doggy water bowls--too cute. Definitely recommend Sally's, you have to try it atleast once.

My wife and I ate dinner here twice: first night, service and food were great -- we couldn't wait to eat there again. Second night, service was so bad we were comped on entrees that came over an hour after we arrived, and after we saw later arrivals getting appetizers and mains before us. Manager blamed lack of staff in the kitchen, and a lost ticket. But the scallops (over $50) that were great the first time, were rubbery the second.

Very expensive and terrible service, unable to share the invoices for 8 due to some IT as explanation. We spent 45 min to pay

We had high hopes for this seafood restaurant on the Bay. They have a nice menu. Setting is also nice. However, all of the dishes we had were only OK. Lobster roll was bland. Roll was toasted but not warm. It was either toasted much earlier to have it ready or the sandwich sat way too long before we received it. The crab cake had the same problem. Everything seemed like it was prepared in advance and reheated. Servers were nice but service was slow and inconsistent. Prices are very high relative to other similar restaurants. Limited, expensive wine list. We won’t return anytime soon.

This restaurant is located on the bay front. View is nice. I decided to have a lunch while I was walking on the water front. They serve wonderful seafood menu. Service was nice. Waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. I would come back.

We had a lovely lunch here. We had a table with a view of the marina and sat outside on a beautiful day. We shared the crab cakes and the crab sandwich. Both were tasty. Service was attentive. I did think that it was a little too pricey for what we ordered, but otherwise this is a solid four star joint.

We walked into this bar as they had a sign up suggesting ‘happy hour cocktails’ for $7. We were most disappointed to discover this ‘deal’ only applied to Wells spirits when mixed with a soft drink. There were six of us and whilst we all had one drink, the so called cocktails were not discounted at all. This sign is EXTREMELY misleading -see picture of cocktail looking drink.

Really enjoyed lunch here. I had the flank steak salad and actually had a really difficult time deciding what to order. The salad was a great value for the money-I couldn’t even finish it. I sat at the bar and service was excellent. I would definitely come back. It is part of the Hyatt but situated separate from the hotel which provides the convenience of charging to your room without the feel of a big hotel restaurant.

My husband and I were very excited to try this place while taking a trip for our first anniversary. The food was ok, but the service was pretty bad in our experience. First they told us the area we asked to sit in was reserved for larger parties, but around 5pm the place sat empty, so that was just annoying. I’m writing the review though bc the waiter made fun of my husband for his pronunciation of a beer. When you are making fun of your customers, you should probably make sure they are out of earshot. Yes Joseph, I’m talking to you.

Nice happy hour pricing in a casual relaxed outdoor and indoor location. Nice beer selection. Friendly staff.

Unexpected lovely experience. Our wait was minimal but was seated on the patio. The server was fun and had great recommendations. We had a great view with the naval ships coming in to the harbor. The scallops were huge and the variety of different colours of cauliflower was beautiful and fresh. We thought this would be your typical seafood by the water but it was better than most. Definitely recommend

Our experience was wonderful. We ordered fish n chips and I have to say they’re the best I ever eaten. We also had oysters and grilled octopus which was really tasty. The service was excellent and we will definitely be going back.

Four of us had a delightful lunch outside on a beautiful afternoon. The sushi, salmon Caesar salad and flat iron steak salad were wonderfully prepared and very fresh. Our experience was heightened by our server Steven and his helper Enrique. Both were professional, super helpful from their recommendations, photography and the surprise birthday dessert accompanied by happy birthday sung by a terrific waiter who had a marvelous voice. Thanks to all who made our experience memorable.

This is one of the best seafood restaurants that I ever experienced. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I dined with my wife and adult children. Everyone's dish was truly outstanding. I will return on my next San Diego visit.

Came in for a drink with my partner. First of all, lovely setting by the water. But the service, oh dear. My partner went to the bar in the end to order drinks, then was told someone will come take our order - as we were sat around for 10 mins, waiters constantly walking past us or talking as if we weren’t there. We both encountered problems when ordering drinks at the bar as they seemed to delegate taking payment to another member of staff. It was an absolute shambles which was such a shame as it was a beautiful evening and would of ordered food if the service wasn’t so poor.

Beautiful views on the water but everything else was just ok. Waiter was not very attentive, food was average, price tag was expensive.

It was a special night to celebrate a family member receiving her doctorate. She wanted seafood, so Sally's Fish House & Bar was the restaurant of choice. I enjoyed the Wild Salmon Provencal with roasted citrus asparagus, whipped potato puree, herbs de provence.

My daughter was looking for a sushi place, and I was not really looking forward to sushi myself. I was so happy to find out that one of the highest rated sushi places was right downstairs of our hotel, and not even that - it had ton of great food (and drinks) - not just sushi :) We seriously enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, and we'll be back next time in San Diego!

First time to Sally's with friends. Delicious food all around. Great location in Seaport Village with a nice outdoor patio.

Great spot on the bay! We had dinner on the patio and it was great. open for lunch and dinner with a great menu. Lots of choices for wines by the glass and full bar avaiable as well. Service was very attentive and polite. Lots of activty around and great views of the marina and the bay. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed Sally’s for a late lunch during the week. This is the nicest restaurant in the Seaport Village area. Most of the places are more casual. Sally’s is actually owned by the Hyatt, so you can charge the meal to your room if you stay there. I had the Halibut, which was light and flaky over a bed of shrimp risotto and it was terrific! My son had an 8 oz Filet and said it was the best he ever had. My daughter ordered two rolls of sushi, which were a generous size. My wife had a steak salad as well. The dinner came to $213 with tip that included 2 glasses of wine. Service was impeccable.

Good sushi wide selection of craft cocktails solid service but they close pretty early for a big city

We were short on time, so we decided to hop in Sally's Fish House for a quick lunch. Service was fast. The food was delicious. The crab cakes, two per order, were fantastic! And, the lobster roll was yummy!

I recently had lunch here. I ordered clam chowder and sushi. The clam chowder was wonderful I would recommend that. However the sushi left a lot to be desired. Seeing as this is the seafood restaurant I was expecting better.

The food, drinks, and presentation was very good, and we enjoyed sitting there having a conversation between parts of the dinner as the service was slow. The waiter was very nice, but I think he may have had too many tables to take care of as we were there for over 2 hours for our meal. The only other negative was the cost - they charge an additional 6% above cost to recoup for the pandemic. I question how long places are going to add this charge onto the menu. Second issue, again around price, was being charged $26 for 1 drink. Nice place, but we had just as good of a meal the previous night at the Edgewater for 1/2 the price.

Ate with colleagues for a lunch, and if was fantastic. I had the Baja Cobb salad and the scallops were perfect. Husband had sea bass fish and chips, and if was flaky moist on the inside and crispy and flavorful on outside. Crab cakes appetizer was amazing as well. A little pricey but worth it.

I was so excited to finally try Sally's during a recent vacation to San Diego and unfortunately I was really disappointed. Current process is you wait in line at the bar, order/pay, receive a number and sit at any table to wait for your order to be brought by a server. We ordered two different breakfast meals, two coffee's and two glasses of water. We sat at our table for at least 15 minutes just waiting for someone to even acknowledge us. This visit was for morning breakfast and we felt a cup of coffee should have be delivered. There were several servers walking around and it was definitely busy, but we had to finally walk up to the bar to get our water. A couple who walked in 15 minutes after us, sat next to us and received their orders before we did. Our food finally came after sitting for 20 minutes and BEFORE the coffee! By the time the coffee finally came, I had to get it to go. The server was apologetic and explained that someone called in sick that morning, but I felt we were totally ignored and someone should have at least acknowledged us. The food was just ok. Ordered the quiche, which was a little too oily.

We often have dinner on the waterfront before a concert at the Rady Shell. Had dinner there and was quite disappointed. The meat that was ordered was overcooked. The seafood was undercooked. Service was slow. I must say that the restaurant accommodated us in taking the Poorly prepared items off our bill.

What an awesome pup friendly lunch we had here! I was able to make a patio reservation ahead of time, indicating we were traveling with dogs. They have a lovely open patio/restaurant table set up right on the harbor. We were seated and given both dog and people menus (extra points for the pups having their own menu!) Service was EXCELLENT , plus they immediately brought water for the dogs. We had the fish and chips, Baja tacos and the dogs split the “howlin’ good chicken” . Everything was fantastic and the fish/chips were the best we ever had with the Chilean Sea Bass. I would definitely come back here thanks to a gold standard lunch experience!

WOW....what a spectacular experience! The view was awesome and the food was amazing! Our server was top notch as well! Try the octopus...you will thank me later.

All about location here. Gorgeous bay side - service good - but food chintzy and bland - two tiny pieces of seafood in “seafood salad”- other restaurant options better if you’re a foodie

Very good meal, although service a little slow. Lovely location by the Bay, behind the Hyatt Hotel. Seafood a specialty, but good selection of other meals. A bit hard to find if you are not staying a the hotel. Also serves breakfast for Hotel guests.

Surely when you say happy hour, you should want to keep your guests happy, We went in after reading the sign happy hour cocktails, wine and beer. When asked, we was told cocktails was certain drinks with a mixer, and when I questioned it with the lady in the main restaurant, she said a cocktail was anything with a mixer, yet the board outside clearly showed drawing of cocktails and wine. So does that mean if I order sea bass and served salmon it wouldn’t make any difference as it’s a fish. If you are offering a special offer, state the true facts, don’t mislead your customers

Nice restaurant by the marina. Large outside sitting, good seafood menu and service. Near the Hyatt and Marriott. Nce for lunch or dinner

The food at Sally's is good enough, particularly since it's attached to a hotel. While the menu and food wasn't mind blowing, it has a fantastic location on the water so you'll have good people watching and boat watching. When we we went to Sally's, we were told they had already released most of their staff so it was one waitress having to take care of several tables, as well as hostess, bussing tables, etc. Kudos to her for doing a great job and keeping up her positive attitude.

Decided to call in around 8.30pm after we’d been for drinks elsewhere. The young lady on reception was very unwelcoming hardly spoke flouncing about and as if everything was a task for her. Firstly took us to a table inside at a corner where nobody was inside at all as was a warm night. Then we said we want to be outside she then walked off to see if any tables which is crazy as only about 20 tables spare outside, surely she’d know this. Came back walked us to table dropped menus on table and walked off. Even my wife said what’s up with her. Not a great start. What a contrast, as our server a young guy was fantastic we had a laugh and chatted with him. Service was good and the food also but very expensive.

The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff nice. The plating is attractive. The prices high. The food was salty. The fish plates LOOKED wonderful and were of perfect doneness AND would have been worth the price except for the salt overpowering the flavors of the food. The freshness and presentation was there, the flavor was not. It was too bad. Then there is the common issue of establishments claiming to offer fine dining without educating their staff on what is expected in a fine dining establishment. DON'T MOVE DIRTY UTENSILS OFF THE DIRTY PLATE TO THE TABLE, TAKE THE DIRTY UTENSILS AWAY WITH THE PLATE.

I had two meals here- lunch and dinner- during an almost week long stay for business. The ahi tuna tostada was the only dish I had that was really good. The sourdough rolls, salmon and crab club sandwich were all mediocre - although the sandwich was creative it just didn’t work and the sum of the ingredients was less than the parts. Also, even for a hotel restaurant it was completely overpriced and that was before the 6% charge for “CA mandated benefits”. It was cold and rainy when I was there so eating outside wasn’t option but the location would be lovely on a nice day.

Loved the quality of the food and the service was excellent! I was attending a conference at the Manchester Grand Hyatt over six days and had several meals, lunch, and dinner at Sally's. It was so convenient, comfortable, and I loved dining outside near the water. Every staff member with which I interacted was cheerful, helpful, and welcoming. I can recommend Sally's Fish House & Bar without hesitation.

A lovely evening and delicious food! The crispy brussel sprouts were sublime. The halibut with risotto and asparagus was fresh and wonderful. The sea bass was innovative and served on delicious linguine. The view was relaxing as we dined outside. Thankfully there were heaters to take off the chill. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the hotel that owns this restaurant. Thought it would be good. The outdoor dining area looks nice. It is practically right on the water. We ate inside. Our waitress was ok. The drinks were cute. One had dry ice in it so it smoked. Cute, not especially tasty. Foodwise, we had a crab cake and bruschetta for appetizers. The presentation was nice but the food was lacking. The crab cake was kind of flavorless and the bruschetta was just... so so. We also had a shrimp cocktail which was fairly tasty. The filet we ordered medium came out still moo-ing. The sides lacked flavor. All in all for the money we paid we were very disappointed. We will never go back here.

The view was great coming from Canada and the snow. The food was fantastic. We visited Sally's twice during our vacation both times did not disappoint. Even our 7 and 10 yr old girls enjoyed the different appetizer share plates. Grilled octopus - excellent!

Sally's offers a diverse seafood menu and one for your canine friends on the side. I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection and nested in a great flavour profile which enhanced their flavour rather than swamping them. The ambience, service and experience was most satisfactory. A good one to try.

Sally's never disappoints. The service is top notch. I usually have the awesome clam chowder followed by the Dragon Roll. It is a perfect proportion for my appetite.

First impressions 2nd time here so as expected. Indoor and outdoor seating, select outdoor. The view is great. Parking Parked at the Seaport parking lot nearby Ambiance Nautical of course and by the marina, cannot beat it, great breeze coming in. Menu Lunch Good variety and frustrating due to what to get…. Food Clam chowder was extraordinary, not your typical items but very very good baja seafood cobb salad was very good, the pancetta dressing and pieces were great grass fed burger delicious Price Final Thoughts Great experience once again, cannot beat the view.

Stopped here for drinks, nice and friendly service, and comfortable seating which was great for sitting in the sun. Would happily revisit

Staff and food were excellent! But it was disappointing that the ownership chooses to add 6% to the bill with no clear notice. if you are charging $24 for a cocktail - why do you need to add more?? Then to be low enough to plead that the patron does not penalize the staff's tip.

Early business dinner, seated outside on a cool night. Heaters made everything comfortable and the sunset was spectacular. Chris C. was our server and he did a great job. The food was ...meh. I had the halibut which was supposed to have shrimp - well, there was (1) grayish looking shrimp that had not been deveined. The dish flavors were way too complicated and left me confused - also SUPER salty. Those dining with me didn't complain - nor did they rave. We started with the clam chowder which was served tepid but the flavor was OK. The bread was the star of the meal. Lots of opportunity here.

Overall had a good dining experience. Would recommend. Service was professional, food was good, creative drink options and nice location at the Marina with nice outdoor seating area. It’s cool I the evenings however so bring a jacket. Parking at the hotel and actually finding the entrance to the restaurant was a bit challenging however.

Restaurant was very convenient to get to, right outside of our hotel right on the marina. Place is decorated nicely. I can't say anything about the views because we went for dinner and it was dark, but they did have outside seating for those that wanted it. They also had a nice seating area with fires. We opted for the seafood tower for dinner. Nothing better than fresh seafood. The raw oysters were just so good! The king crab legs were super sweet and the shrimp and lobster were also very good. We shared this dish, we had gotten the small which fed 3-5 people, but I think next time we will go with the larger one. Staff was really nice. I'd definitely go back.

My husband and I had lunch here and enjoyed the view. There were mostly business people here rather than tourists like us. I had the crab cakes and a caesar salad, my husband had a fish sandwich and salad. Had I known there would be a small salad accompanying my crab cakes I never would have ordered the extra salad but the waiter couldn't be bothered to tell me. Plus we had to ask for water refills and for his attention.

We came here for drinks and dinner and the food and view was great! The halibut was excellent as well as the crab cakes. We will come back when in San Diego!

No-one in our party were impressed by the food we got. Also, the menu was much more limited than the one displayed on the internet. Especially, the shrimp tacos (which were supposed to be a bit spicy) were quite tasteless, even when you added the accompanying’spicy’ sauce. Rice and frijoles refritos were also very boring. A disappointment.

Mandy greeted us at our table and did an outstanding job as our server. The Octopus and crab cake appetizers were out of this world. My wife's seabass may be some of the best seabass I have ever tasted. My Paella was good, although the lobster was a little dry. Chocolate sphere is just plain wonderful and beignets are big enough to share.

The view was stunning, and the drinks were nothing less than excellent. JP was a gracious host and very friendly and had the gift of conversation. But oddly enough, we attempted to pay because we had a decent amount of cash, and we were informed they no longer do they take cash! They (the whole hotel) changed their policy... I presume because of Governor Newsome since he is indirectly through marriage to Nancy P. Something I would expect from San Fran socialites. Bring your credit card for you cant have a drink (or stay at the hotel for that matter).

We had just gotten off of the Trolley and saw the restaurant down the way. It is in a pretty location and we were able to be seated at a table outside. We both ordered water and a Cadillac Margarita which I found potent but mostly tasteless. We were given bread to munch on before our meal. I ordered the catch of the day which was salmon and my husband ordered the fish & chips. The fish & chips were very good. My salmon was also good, light and flavorful but I was disappointed in the amount I was given. It was a thin sliver about an inch wide and six inches long. It came with vegetables which were barely cooked. Presentation on both dishes were very good.

With the outrageous prices they charge for skimpy, mediocre meals, you wouldn’t think they would add a hidden 6% surcharge so that customers can subsidize the minimum wage salaries they pay their inattentive staff…never will waste my time or $$ here again.. if you didn’t check your bill, you would know that you would base your tip on state tax and the hidden surcharge…this is arrogant and slimy.

We were at the seaport for a trip on the land and sea tour Since we were near Sally's looked nice, a good place to eat. You can eat inside or outside. It is NOT an inexpensive place to eat. We both had the lobster roll and I had a fruit bowl. Good roll and fantastic fruity. A great view.

We recently visited on a Saturday. We were quite hungry after riding our bikes over from the Del Coronado and taking the ferry. We were quickly seated as requested at a high bar top table. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered a Bloody Mary and Champagne. The Bloody Mary was stuffed with seafood and bacon. This was a pleasant surprise, although the drink itself was mediocre and tasted like it was made with Clamato juice which isn’t a favorite of mine. We also split a wedge salad that was large and came out on two plates. Dressing wasn’t overdone which often seems to happen when wedge salads are split. The highlight of the meal though was the seafood tower. It had king crab, oysters, shrimp, lobster and 4 sauces. We were totally surprised at the serving size for the $42. Both of us were full when we finished. We highly recommend coming in here.

Outside or inside your treated with an excellent harbor view and it's all accompanied with a great dinning experience. Eight in our party enjoyed every bite of the eight different selections we choose.

Immaculate service. outstanding food, great ambiance everything you'd want to remember life's memorable experiences.

A must. I don’t care if you don’t like fish and chips; order the fish and chips. Top 2 of my life. Excellent service and vibes.

Stopped here for a drink this afternoon - was so impressed by the service that we then came back for dinner! The seafood Bloody Mary is a must try drink - I loved it, my wife hated it but either way give it a go! The food is excellent, the sea bass and the paella were both delicious- it's pricey but worth it and the service is fantastic- 100% recommended 😁

While staying at the San Diego Marriott Marquis for meetings, I walked toward Seaport Village, and discovered Sally’s Fish House & Bar, right on the harbor, and steps from our hotel. The thing that caught my eye was a sign for “Paws on the Patio,” with an English Bulldog depicted. That sign, more than anything else, brought me to have lunch at Sally’s. I was seated on the lovely patio, with a view of the promenade along the harbor, and then San Diego Yacht Harbor, just across. I could stare at the Bay, the beautiful boats berthed there, and at all of the folk strolling the walkway. What better way to spend the early afternoon, on a sunny, warm June day? I started with a glass of the Tiamo Pinot Grigio “Organic” Veneto, IT, while I poured over the menu. About that time, I got a text message from my wife. Her meeting was over early, so I extended an invitation to join me, on the patio at Sally’s. For directions, I just said, “You know the place with the Bulldog on the sign?” Awaiting my wife, I ordered a bottle of the Walt Blue Jay Pinot Noir, Anderson Valley ‘16, and primarily because I had never had it, and had my eye on the Seared Ahi. When my wife arrived, I started her out with the Hess Select Monterey Chardonnay. Dragon Roll w/ shrimp tempura, cucumber, tobiko and topped with avocado and freshwater eel – excellent, and the Pinot Grigio, plus the Pinot Noir went beautifully. Seared Ahi Sandwich w/ togarashi, avocado, arugula-shredded cabbage, wasabi aioli, citrus soy dressing and sesame seed oil – great seared Ahi, and the sandwich’s size was ideal. Again, both wines did beautifully. As my wife had enjoyed a business lunch of “rubber banquet chicken,” or similar, she only grazed on my dishes, but at least got to have a glass of wine with me on the patio of Sally’s, and watch the harbor, before heading back into some conference room in the hotel. Service was great, and I wanted for nothing during the lunch. The patio area is lovely, and a clear, warm, early Summer day, did not hurt. I could not have had a better lunch, and to think, it all came to be, because of a Bulldog on a poster.

Wife and I picked Sally’s based on proximity to our hotel and online reviews. Saturday night out. Place was busy but not overwhelming at 8:30p. Was promptly seated, but at a tiny table, I’d call a one person table. If you’re going to drop $250 on dinner, you shouldn’t be trying to find room to sit a wine glass. Wife had scallops and I had paella. Both were very good. We shared oysters but had to ask for traditional horseradish cocktail sauce. Service was good, not great. Had a glass of wine and a beer, but no offer to serve a second. Overall, a nice place with very good views and food. That tiny table ruined what should have been a 5 star visit.

My wife and I are very glad some friends recommended Sally’s. We came to San Diego from northern Los Angeles County to celebrate my wife’s birthday. And we were extremely pleased with last night’s dining experience. First of all, Ryan, our waiter, was very attentive to our needs, besides having a great personality. He even presented my wife with a special, yummy dessert that we both enjoyed. The persimmon burrata salad was very special. Then both of us savored the grilled halibut which was very tasty. The portions were quite generous, too. Towards the end of our meal, Ryan, the assistant manager, came over to our table to engage in a wonderful, friendly conversation. This added touch made our evening one to be remembered. Now we can recommend Sally’s to many others.

The crab cakes and fish and chips were quite amazing! The swordfish plate was cold so it was not as enjoyable as I had hoped. But we enjoyed the patio atmosphere (quieter than indoors), the service and the wine.

If you love fresh seafood and paella, you must dine here! Great casual dining atmosphere with beautiful views of the marina!

We ate here twice. The sushi rolls were very tasty. No complaints on the food. Once we ate at the bar, Amir waited on us an was so incredibly rude! Almost hostile...and we had a very simple order and were low-maintenance. Not sure why people like this work in hospitality. I'd go back, but I wouldn't eat at the bar.

Got off our Old Town Trolley tour for lunch at Sally's before we caught our flight East. Excellent service, great food and you can shop for your boat from your table. Prices are reasonable for the area.

A great restaurant to start our vacation!! We were quickly received and brought to our table outside. They offered us to turn on the heater and give us blankets since it was getting a little cool. I started with an Ahi tuna poke bowl appetizer, and then had scallops for dinner both were phenomenal. My daughters shrimp cocktail had great looking shrimp and my wife’s pork chop was cooked perfectly. Nice drink and wine menu. Highly recommend.

We ended up meeting for a late lunch. Our group ordered fish n chips and clam chowder. We also got a cheese plate/ board and guacamole. The food was good, but very nice atmosphere and patio. It is a great place to sit outside.

This is a beautiful and clean seafood restaurant located at the marina. The menu is limited, but we enjoyed our food. There are some interesting dishes, which we enjoyed. I had the seared ahi tuna, which was served over mashed potatoes which were yummy. The salads we had were excellent, and my dining companion really enjoyed the seemingly odd but delicious burratta salad with strawberries and peach. When our entree was delayed, our server kindly apologized and said there was a large party ahead of us. I really appreciated that. After our entree, a manager offered us dessert on them, also much appreciated. However, our (very delicious) gelato was delayed, and I fact was sitting in a pool of gelato melt. Whatever! We enjoyed our meal and would likely return if we are in the area.

Delicious drinks. Excellent service and a delightful menu await. Nice outdoor patio with music sometimes. Gas heaters for when it gets cool. Next to Seaport Village and lots of activity or browsing to do before and after lunch or dinner. Recommended.

We are staying at the Hyatt in San Diego and Sallys is the primary restaurant. The lunch has a good variety of well priced entrees. I had excellent fish and chips. My husband had a swordfish sandwich. the service was excellent and the lively place has a great view with indoors and out. But we returned fo dinner and were not pleased that all the entrees at lunch were not on the dinner menu and not available (lobster roll, fish taco, etc.) they were replaced by entrees that were less appealing and three times the price. Lunch very good. Dinner not worth the price and we did not care for the selection.

Seafood bisque sounded good with an assortment of seafood. What came was a bowl of pumpkin colored creamed soup with a small clump of something floating on top. The clump was one bite-full of a crab flavored substance. The soup was weird tasting and I could not finish it. Other people seemed to be picking at their food as well. Lots of empty tables should have been a clue. I had planned on ordering an entree after soup but changed my mind and got out of the place.

I was staying at the hotel and was in a rush for lunch so decided to grab some grilled octopus. It was amazing. Octopus is one of my favorite meals and this was well done. It’s hard not to make it chewy and this was perfect. The sauce also complimented it.

My husband and I stopped by for cocktails and a salad. It has been years since we have had drinks at Sally's. I enjoyed the ambiance, the Caesar salad and 2 martinis. The staff were friendly and efficient. Can't wait to return!

Enjoyed lunch. Ask for Dana. A great server. If you need anything, see my friend Ryan. Nice spot, nice view. Good food.

We were after light dinner and only ordered the octopus starter and a couple of sushi rolls. The octopus was good but the sauce too salty. One of the sushi rolls, the spicy tuna one, was extremely spicy and covered in chilli flakes. We have spicy tuna all the time and this was much spicier than normal. The AC was on and so it was really cold inside the place, despite being winter. So all in all would not recommend.

This is a very upscale restaurant, and a bit pricey, but food was great. Seafood sampler as an appetizer was excellent. Our group tried lots of items on the menu and all were pleased.

It's funny but we often go to San Diego and stay at our favorite place The Hyatt Manchester Grand on the bay. From there we so out to find really good restaurants. One of the restaurants at the Hyatt is Sally's and we just never went and over-looked it. This time we tried it and wow it is excellent. It has a big deck right on the boardwalk and is dog friendly, with believe it or not, an incredible dog menu. Sitting on the deck in the Marina, sipping cocktails watching the sun go down, we found OUTSTANDING food and Sushi. The Sea Bass was one of the, if not the best Sea Bass I've ever had, same with the clam chowder, same with the....... Flat out great place.

We arrived with no reservations so we sat in the bar. BUT, i could of been sitting on a rock and i wouldn't care..... the surf and turf was amazing !!!!! the steak was the best and tender beyond decription ........ the drinks were fabulous and the people wen tout of thier way to servre us... it hurt the credit card when the check came but a meal i won't forget for a long time. EXCELLENT !! 6 out of 5 stars

I traveled alone on business to San Diego and I have to say after a long day of traveling Sally’s hit the spot. They were very attentive even though I was alone and the fish and chips were quite literally the best I’ve ever had in my life. I couldn’t have chosen better. My San Diego trip is off to a great start!

Ate outdoors which was beautiful. Ordered 2 appetizers-bread and crab cakes…don’t bother with the crab cakes only 2 were served and not very good. The entrees made up for the bad crab cakes. The salmon and short ribs were very good. The seafood paella was great…the lobster tail was a little chewy but good flavor. Service was good.

I met friends and they had had a few cocktails and appetizers. We had to go somewhere else for dinner because the selection for gluten free was very limited.

This restaurant is near Seaport Village and the Embarcadero Marina. We were at Seaport Village and walked along the walkway that followed San Diego Bay. We sat outside on the patio with a view of the bay. Everyone agreed their food was delicious. I enjoyed that large piece of salmon on my fresh salad.

Restaurant had just been refurbished and it was done very tasteful. Excellent service, view, and food was delicious. Special way to spend Mother’s Day with my daughter.

Food was completely amazing and the ocean breeze even better... lovely restaurant and the waiters extremely nice and professional.

I had a very good meal at this restaurant when in town for a conference. Everything we ate was fresh and well prepared. The restarant was clean, well kept and less expensive than some of its competitors. I would eat at this restaurant again.

We went here a couple times during our stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. It was a good experience, but very expensive for the offered food. It was good food, but pretty pricey. It is convenient and a nice location on the marina.

We had lunch on a hot September day when it was not comfortable to be on their very attractive patio. We were on the early side, so we got a table before the rush. Lesson learned to make a reservation next time. The food was excellent and the service prompt. The view of the harbor was beautiful. Costly but well worth it.

The wait staff at Sally's is excellent. The view is great from the patio, I would highly recommend eating in the patio at sunset.

I really hate to write this because I have always been a fan of this restaurant over the years. But boy, they have completely lost the plot when it comes to decent food. We were there for drinks and appetizers. Ordered the Prosciutto Flatbread ($21.00). YUCK! The flatbread tasted like cardboard and the "soft yolk egg" was literally an uncooked egg on top of a flatbread. Raw egg spewing all over the disgusting tasting bread with next to no Prosciutto. Who ever thought of adding a raw egg to flatbread? The Guacamole/Chips ($16.00) was horrible too. No flavor, blah, blah and then more blah. Had to add salt to gag it down. And don't get me started... the Ahi Tuna Poke Bowl (at $26.00) was literally inedible. Tuna tasted like a gross mess - the whole thing was so lacking flavor and a complete waste of money. We wanted to send every item back, as it was SERIOUSLY THAT BAD. What a miserable experience and we will not be back. I would suggest they get their act together because this place used to be good. New Chef? New Management? No-one actually tries the food they serve? What happened??? I will give our food literally a 0/10. All 4 of us couldn't believe a restaurant could screw up appetizers that bad and charge an arm and a leg for their food. After this gross mess and 3 drinks, we were out $120.00. That's even after we sent the raw egg flatbread back and barely touched the disgusting tuna dish. Ate the chips/guac because we were desperately hungry. Find a different place to enjoy the bay - Seaport Village is close by...

Sally’s Will forever be on my short list of favorite restaurants to eat anywhere. For a restaurant in a relatively touristy section of San Diego, this one shines. It’s a beautiful space right across from the marina with a huge outdoor patio and a beautiful bright and airy inside. The bar is stellar, the happy hour as well. On a recent lunch my husband and I had some of their amazing sushi and a pair of California Cobb salads which were generous portions with plump scallops and grilled shrimp cooked to perfection on a bed of dark greens. Their menu is so good it is always hard to choose. They are definitely seafood forward, but they also have enough to please non-seafood lovers. Just sitting overlooking the bay and the boats with a glass of wine is worth it’s weight in gold.

This restaurant is part of Hyatt Hotel, but appears separate and on the waterfront. It's casual inside; comfortable. Nice views, patio too. Seafood and fish restos in San Diego seem uniformly expensive and so is this one. That said, the chowder was good, although ordinary. Pass on the caesar salad- a wedge of romaine with dressing more or less. The brussel sprouts side dish was the star of the night, and a huge portion to share, great value. I had the scallops and although good, I think their apps were better, so I might suggest trying several apps for the same price as the scallops!

We were here on the 4th weekend and the restaurant was extremely busy. We were lucky to get seats at the bar. This meant we got to watch the expert mixologists at work. We found the menu very varied with something for everyone. We had some lovely crab cakes.

I stopped here to eat due to the fact it is close to the Marriott and I should have taken the time to walk farther down to see what my options were. First of all the service was great but the food and drink were overpriced and bland. It was $64 without tip for a cup of seafood bisque (which was the best thing I ate) and a mahi tuna sandwich , which was bland and stringy to eat, and a coconut margarita. I don’t mind paying more for great food but this place was not it. My server Dana was awesome and very attentive but the food was just not worth it. Save your money and time and keep on waling.

Was lucky enough to get an outside table right by the marina (great people watching spot). The Chilean Sea Bass was amazing, accompanied by a cold local craft beer. Very enjoyable dinner by the scenic port of San Diego.

Great service and best seafood we've had in years, sat outside 20 feet from the marina beautiful view and sunset. This is a resturant that we'll come back to when we visit san diego.

Outdoor seating was great! The fish was very fresh and the staff were attentive. The menu wasn’t huge but there were great seafood selections

I rarely do reviews but when something is as expensive and horrible as this place I feel compelled to warn people how gross the food was and how lame the service was. The location can't be beat. The food is horrible. All three of us getting different dishes all commented the salt was overwhelming. So the primary spice here is salt. The clam chowder tasted like a thickened salt solution. The salad was so salty 2 of us couldnt eat it. This is the first restaurant of this price point I have ever been to where the waiter didn't ask us about whether we enjoyed the food. The staff must know it is horrible if they dont try to talk up the food/experience to rev up their tip. So if they arent going to ask us how the food was and try to make the experience worthwhile, they can read about it on Tripadvisor. If this place were not in this pictureque waterfront location, they would be out of business. We will never go back.

We ate outside and was a little chilly. Staff was very accommodating and turned on some gas heaters. Food was very good also! I had a hamburger that was excellent! My husband had the fish and chips. He said it was very good too!

Started with custom martinis and fresh shrimp cocktail. Would also recommend the jalapeño hamachi appetizer. The sea bass entree was also fresh and flavorful! The service - Audreanna, with some assistance from Luigui, made the evening special!

Great dinner on the bay. Girlfriend wanted tuna so we gave Sallys a try. Waiter suggested the Sea Bass so I gave it a shot. One of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. Her tuna was great as well. Best meal we had in San Diego.

The place is good but the taste of the food is nothing spectacular and I even found it tasteless, a place with high prices and they also charge a surcharge of 6% and suggest a minimum tip of 18%, you can definitely get better restaurants in the area.

We ventured to Seaport Village on a Saturday night & pretty much every place we wanted to eat had a 1.5-2 hr wait (our bad, we should have made reservations). However, Sally's did not have a wait as it's a completely different concept for a more expensive dining experience. We walked it & were greeted by instructions & a menu board. We decided what we wanted & stood in line at the bar. Once called to proceed to bartender, we were greeted by Steven who told us that the fish & chips was a great choice & that they use Chilean Sea Bass rather than Cod. We paid for our meals & drinks and Steve gave us a "number" flag to take to any available table. As if was Saturday night, and this restaurant offers just drinks only option & is connected to the Hyatt Grand, all the outside seating was taken, No worries, because it was a little humid so we didn't mind sitting inside. Our drinks came out first & there was a bit of a delay with our dinners, but then again its a Saturday night, holiday weekend, in San Diego so we didn't mind the wait. Once our dinners arrived, I immediately realized that my husband & I could have shared 1 Fish & Chips dinner.....we each got 2 very large portions of fish and an ample supply of chips (steak fries). These filets or patties, you choose what you call them, were breaded so wonderfully, there was no grease & the fish just melted in our mouths. Not sure how we did it, but we both finished our meals. Needless to say, we waddled back to our hotel (down the boardwalk a bit) content with our decision to try Sally's.

We had dinner at this restaurant and requested a terrace table as suggested by open table. They have a waterfront terrace with a glass wind wall and gas heaters. Service was excellent. Be careful- the portions are generous. We had the seafood tower and even with the small order the quantity was generous. We had clam chowder soups to start which were very good. A bit pricey but you will be satisfied. Will have a bigger appetite next time!

Nice food, reasonable prices. Ask for a table on the waterfront side. We went to Sally's twice, the second time we were on our way to a flight. The server kindly expedited the food for us.

The Sally’s Fish Bar & Grill’s covered porch area is one of the best places to enjoy the view of the bay and marina, soak in a leisurely mid-afternoon sun and breeze. We enjoyed a couple of fab Lobster Rolls, washed down with an ice-cold Chula Guerita Blond Ale, an Arnold Palmer along with gracious servers. This is a must stop for a bite when visiting the San Diego Marina and Seaport Village shops where you’ll be ready to relax after a terrific window shopping and impersonating a tourist.

We ate on the beautiful patio overlooking the marina. The shrimp cocktail was wonderful and the quinoa dish was very tasty!

When in San Diego we like to have a meal here. Service is always excellent. Good is always great. Enjoy eating on the patio and watching the peoples walk be. I had the lobster roll for lunch. It was very good, but smaller than I would have liked.

The food quality was good. Nothing special. But oh my... the prices were sky high. $27 for fish and chips (before tax and tip)? This is not Le Bernardin! We happened by during "happy hour." And lucky that we did. Many of the plates and drinks were 1/2 off. So they were just pricey, instead of outrageous. And still the bill was shocking. And it's not even a full service restaurant. You get in line to order. They give you one of those numbered placards, and then the food comes to you. Overall, Sally's is a pleasant restaurant with inoffensive food where you can enjoy looking out over the sunny, beautiful marina. But it ain't cheap.

The food is above average. The salmon that I had with my salad was very nicely grilled. The view is beautiful. The service was good. It was expensive though.

We love this restaurant much we ate here 4 times in 4 days. The wings were delicious, huge serving and more than enough to share. The crab sandwich was equally delicious and served with a large side salad-again, enough to share. The swordfish tacos are the best I have ever eaten! And then there's the Bloody Mary served with a crableg-must try! Ask for a table on the patio and you will enjoy the water view.

We ate here twice for lunch and both times were excellent. Very attentive service. Food is fresh and tasty. Lots of lobster on the lobster rolls. Highly recommend.

We were able to get a table water front, the ambiance was top notch. We ordered the Lobster Roll, oysters, a delightful Seafood Cobb Salad and a delicious Mai Tai. Everything was perfect! Our server Francisco had stories to tell us about the restaurant that actually has been in business for over 30 years. Great experience, we will be back!

In town from the east coast for a conference. We chose Sally’s not only because it was conveniently located just outside our hotel, but also because we love seafood! We were there for lunch. The service was fast and friendly, and the food extremely well-presented. (The Chorizo Queso Dip appetizer was EXCEPTIONAL)! While my wife and I thought our meals were quite tasty, I guess we expected to blown away and we were not - especially given the cost. We may return to see if the dinner menu is more impressive - The views alone make it worth it!

A very nice, unpretentious and friendly restaurant. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is tasty, particularly the fish and chips and the chocolate cake. The view of boardwalk and the marina add to a nice ambience. We were there on our visit in San Diego in January 2022 and went back again twice during this visit and we continue to be impressed.

Love this place, the cleanest restaurant/bar we have been to in the US! Great & friendly service from all the staff, this place wreaks of a well run establishment! It shows at every point, the cleanliness, quality product and services we coukd not fault, highly recommended!

My three dining companions and I visited on a Monday for lunch while on vacation in CA. The location was really quiet...for twenty minutes we were the only folks there. We all ordered different meals and all were excellent. I ordered the fish tacos, which were served in a hard shell; there was a great, tart slaw on them that I really enjoyed. It included a choice of steak fries (my spouse had these with his meal and they were cooked perfectly, which is a feat for steak fries) or a small size salad that had a lemon vinaigrette that was my choice and was perfect. Friendly service and nice view of the boats.

Went to Sally’s Fish House for a business dinner and was thoroughly impressed. We started with drinks at the bar while waiting for our table to be set up. Their Bloody Mary is pretty delicious. Once we were seated I changed to the Moscow Mule and that was also well made and delicious. We had several appetizers but I only took a picture of the Seafood Tower which was truly impressive to behold. For dinner I had the Ribeye Steak which seems silly at a fish house but I had seafood the previous two nights and was ready for some beef. It came out the perfect temperature. (Tip: if you like blue cheese request blue cheese crumbles in top as it kicks it up a notch). The steak is served over potatoes and, honestly, I could not eat most of them because the steak was so enormous. Colleagues of mine had scallops and said they were delicious. Service was attentive without being overbearing although there were occasional lapses where things were forgotten. That was the only area where I marked it down a spot. The restaurant is located directly behind the Manchester Grand Hyatt downtown so you can valet or self park there. If you want to save a few bucks you could also park at Seaport Village and walk over.

The food and service at this please it’s just fantastic the atmosphere is very good the staff couldn’t be nicer, had a great time and enjoyed my drinks and food to the max

Had realistic expectations as this seafood house is in a touristy area and part of a hotel. The food quality, clean and stylish atmosphere and great service blew us away! Tuna poke bowl, chowder and nachos were the best we’ve ever had! Went back a few times during our stay!

What a terrific recommendation we had to go here and experience a lovely evening of great service and terrific food. We enjoyed the Persimmon Burrata starter and for some crazy reason both ordered the halibut, which was prepared to perfection. Even the wine selection, simple and lovely. Do not miss this or write it off due to touristy location. Ryan, the assistant manager, and Ryan (really), our waiter were attentive but not over-bearing. Go and be surprised at this great and convenient restaurant.

Great place to sit in the sun and eat delicious sea food looking at the waterfront facing Coronado . Right near the convention centre and the touristy area. Excellent staff and wonderful crab sandwich.

Convenient to harbor side convention hotels, Sally’s serves excellent seafood and meat. I myself chose pork chops, which were enormous and tasty. Service was a bit pokey, but adequate, of the casual sort that can make me anxious.

Being a Celiac isn’t easy for me and eating out is always trying to dodge a major illness episode or a trip to the hospital. But luckily we went to Sally’s Seafood House and grill. Our waiter, Steve, was very knowledgeable about my issues and asked the chef about my meal choice. A modification was made especially for me. I even ordered a gluten free dessert and the chef came out to discuss it with me! We had walked the entire sea wall checking out menus and this place compares favourably price wise, but exceeds in quality! We will make it our go-to when in SanDiego,

Went there for a business dinner. The place looked a bit touristy so I wasn’t sure. I had the swordfish and it was sushi quality and perfectly done. Just amazing. The other person had the local catch and he said it was great. The waitress was assisted efficiently by others as she had another large party. Would definitely recommend.
'JUAN'DERFUL!!!!!!!!!
My first visit to San Diego was for work and I took a few days to myself. Love the Seaport area and decided to stop at Sally's to have a nice solo dinner. I was treated like a queen! 'Juan' was my server, along with 2 others. I was seated on the patio with a beautiful view of the sunset and Juan was so attentive - recommended items on the menu based on what I was hungry for and everything I was served was purely delightful! He was so kind and you could tell he truly loved his job and was so proud of his work environment and people he worked with. I can't wait to visit again next time in San Diego!!
