Skip the Syrup

By Patinca29 |

Arrived at 8:30 and were immediately seated for breakfast. My friend was pleased with his omelet. I got buttermilk pancakes, which were good, but the “maple” syrup ruined it for me. I can’t be certain that it even was maple syrup.

Food is great, coffee almost ok

By michael r |

Strange experience. We went there twice for breakfast and coffee, all highly recommended. Food was nice, omelet, sandwich, apple dutch, poke, all good. Coffee... we like cappuccino and espresso, and preferably not from mass produce machine. Salt&ivy serves that. First morning coffee spent some time somewhere waiting to be served, and arrived warm. We liked food so came again. This time espresso arrived perfect! And they forgot about cappuccino for wife. Cappuccino was good once served. And they double charged us for espresso :(

Decent breakfast in the Aria Hotel in Las Vegas with a menu for all tastes: a little expensive but good it’s Las Vegas 🥳😎

Breakfast place.

By Tim J |

Salt and Ivy is a great breakfast spot. There was a line to get in but it moved quickly. The wait staff was terrific. All our meals were delicious. Food came out relatively fast. We were sitting under a large skylight so we had some nice natural light.

Standard breakfast

By GezenBey |

Good breakfast spot , arrived very early so no issues getting table . Standard fare of eggs , hash was nice . Coffee really nice . I was staying at Vdara and three times they issued check for someone staying at Aria and not cross check name. Mistake easy rectified by honest patron.

The best shrimp and grits ever!!

By midawg73 |

In my title I said the best shrimp and grits ever. If you even mildly like grits try these, you won't be disappointed. First they start with a not as dense grit, cook them to perfection, butter them up and plate them. It is served with large shrimp, pork belly and roasted red peppers. Bottomless mimosas are also a great deal. Excellent service also

Standard Breakfast Fare

By Vegaskev72 |

We stayed at the Vdara and wanted a convenient breakfast spot. Walked over the restaurant and we were seated in about 10 minutes. Nothing exceptional but the service and food were good. There are more exciting breakfast spots on the Strip but Salt & Ivy would be fine if you are hungry in the morning and are passing by. Breakfast for 3 was ~$100 plus tip.

Just like Aria Cafe

By Scott L |

Our favorite restaurant in the Aria is the Salt & Ivy even though they are only open to 2pm. The Aria replaced our other favorite the Aria Cafe, but Salt & Ivy is just as good, but less appealing inside. Staff is very friendly and food is so good we ate there 3 out of 5 days.

Not as good as of late

By J K |

We have been to Salt and Ivy quite a few times. The food and service has been lack luster the last two visits. Perhaps, they are too busy and rushed as their hours are limited.

Great Breakfast

By gwen k |

Breakfast three days in a row. Great food reasonably priced. Spicy Bloody Mary was very good. Good amount of breakfast choices. My favorite is the eggs Benedict. Waitstaff very friendly. They do not take reservations but you can get to the front of the line if you are MGM Platinum. This helped tremendously as there were many conventions in town, and the regular line was crazy long.

Great Service, Good Food

By MissLenore |

I went here with breakfast with my cousins as we both happened to be in town, and they were staying at Aria. The service was great, the coffee was good, and all the food was delicious. Some of the menu items were kind of predictable, not as unique as I would expect for a place like this, but the quality was good. It was bustling in there, but not too loud. I'd come back if I was in the area again. You can make reservations here too.

Only choice at Aria for breakfast these days

By Dr_Von |

We wanted to enjoy breakfast on our first morning in Las Vegas at the Aria and were told that Salt & Ivy was essentially our only choice. Line was extremely long, service was slow and sloppy and inaccurate. I ordered scrambled eggs well done and crispy bacon - my eggs arrived runny and the bacon was hardly cooked. Food tasted good but nothing special, but the whole thing was extremely over priced! My husband and I both had a basic egg breakfast with a side of a short stack of pancakes. The bill was $70! We won't be back.

Good Breakfast Place

By vppro |

We normally go to the Aria Cafe for breakfast but since they converted it to a Chinese restaurant, we've been going to Salt & Ivy. The breakfast menu is basic but something for everyone. Service was very good.

Breakfast at its best!

By kimmysue42 |

Loved our breakfast on our last morning in Vegas. It was a bit of a wait but worth it. I had the salmon lox on a bagel. So good!! The rest of my table had eggs over easy, chicken & waffles & a caprese salad. Everyone was satisfied and full. We also ordered the blueberry soufflé which took about 20 minutes to cook. That was a touchdown! Our server was awesome- very nice, funny & attentive. We know she was moving out of state but she was a great server. I would eat here again on our next visit.

Great breakfast

By Desiree M |

They have a very delicious breakfast sandwhich I am fearful how many calories it was. Try to make reservations or take chances with bar seating.

Get the avocado toast!

By Lesley B |

We grabbed breakfast at Salt and Ivey and were lucky to snag a table before a line formed. We split the avocado toast and the Dutch baby with mixed berries. Both were great! The service was a bit slow and we wondered if they were understaffed. The manager was attentive and came around to ask everyone about their experience. We’d go back for sure.

Plain Food at Exorbitant Prices

By MNice |

In order for you to get a poor review, you have to have one or two things wrong; food, service or ambiance. So let’s start with the ambiance. It’s a magnificent hotel with a beautiful patio and bar. Not the most interesting place you will ever go to, but really pretty and in the setting of a beautiful Vegas property. But that’s it. Food was plain with a few little cute Tabasco sauce bottles thrown in and host stand is a nightmare. “We’ll call you on your phone, then come back and get in line.” Waiter disappeared for at least half and hour as the expresser brought our food out to us. Sat and waited for the check and then forced to tip on their machine (18% is the minimum). The food was on par with any street take-out in any city in the USA. The rub? $74 for coffee, 2 orange juices, 2 classic egg plates. Get me out of here!

Good Food

By Walter W |

Salt and Ivy is a very popular restaurant and deservedly so. Indoor and outdoor seating; fast service; great servers and lots of good food.

Long Wait, Good Breakfast

By MiamiArchitect |

One of the very few breakfast options at Aria hotel. Small but nice selection of breakfast items. Good health oriented options. The wait is terrible most of the time. They don't take reservations, so you have to make the 30-40 min wait

Amazing food.

By Valerie J |

Be prepared to wait in line. We ended up eating breakfast at the bar. The bartender was so friendly. The food was delicious. We both had the shrimp and grits with Canadian bacon. I had orange juice and he had coffee, that’s it. Our breakfast was $81, we gave the bartender a $100 bill and told him to keep the change. After a truly disappointing breakfast at Primrose the day before, I was ready for one outstanding breakfast before we left Vegas this was it but it sure cost a pretty penny.

It's okay

By Alan S |

Ate breakfast there twice. Food was good, nothing to rave about. One server excellent, the other again, okay. Had steak and eggs, they aske for my bread preference, then didn't bring any. Had lox and bagels, they pre added the cram cheese, let me di that. Not much cucumber. Second trip I had the special drip at your table coffee, I preferred the house the time before. Again, it's oksy.

Tasty Delight

By 621Tinap |

Went for breakfast as we were staying in the Aria. Reservations recommended, service and food great! I had a breakfast Sandwich very good, my husband had the pancakes and said they were great. Nice ambiance. Well enjoyed. Rita was great.

Great breakfast

By Sam B |

We ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon and potatoes. Pancakes were good. Really nice atmosphere. I would recommend this place. However go early or make reservations, it's usually always crowded.

Poached eggs - too difficult apparently

By PrairieGuest |

How hard is it to poach eggs? Beware of S&I, slow service and kitchen who apparently have difficulty/attitude getting the simple things right. Ordered two medium hard poached eggs off their signature dish list….from right to left in photo; first round was barely cooked, asked for a redo. Second round, only one egg that was less cooked. Third round, 20mins later, hard fried egg. Wow - you guys nailed that!! Gave that plate to manager on way out - who comped the meal and apologized. Suggest some new staff who understand the basics. Never again!

Great breakfast place at ARIA

By mark48tennis |

If you find yourself in a breakfast or brunch mood, you cannot go wrong at Salt & Ivy. On a recent visit for breakfast the food was served hot, the coffee was flavorful and the service was excellent. Outside seating is available for those desiring fresh air, but by 10:00 am I recommend staying inside as this is Vegas and it gets hot in summer. Enjoy!

A great lunch

By Brian D |

Grabbed a quick bite to eat before we headed to the airport in the afternoon. Sat at the bar and were well taken care of. Food did not disappoint, we both enjoyed everything. Next time we plan to sit outside when we make a return trip.

The single worst meal of my life

By Luke P |

I really hate writing bad reviews but there is just no way to not publicly address this criminal activity. I’ve said for some time now that while breakfast is really difficult to master, it’s also really difficult to totally screw up. Well Salt and Ivy has mastered the art of the truly awful breakfast. I’ll give them top honors for the following 1. Watered down and tasteless coffee that actually made me wish they had just used a a keurig 2. 15 minutes after ordering my omelette of the day (a little cheese and cubbed ham) it arrived actually cold. I do not mean it was partially cooked, I mean cold through and through. This meant that it was either microwaved or prepared hours before and poorly reheated. This omelette was approximately $20.00. I feel very badly for writing this, but this was literally highway robbery and I can safely say that this goes down as the single worst meal I’ve ever had in my life. Salt and ivy and the Aria hotel should be ashamed to present this. As an M-life devotee, I’m now questioning my choice of hotels.

Fun, Delicious Breakfast Choice

By Mike95128 |

Fantastic breakfast. Try the Dutch oven pancakes. I tried the mixed fruit (sweet) and my husband tried the smoked salmon (savory), and both were delicious. Has we not been on vacation, sharing one would have been sufficient. We arrived just before 9:00 on a Saturday of a busy weekend (December 30) and had no wait. The line got very long soon after. This is really a fun choice.

Good place for breakfast

By Gordon4000 |

Stayed at the Aria for a few days and this is one of the places to eat on the promenade level, We found it a nice place for breakfast as we had a $30 credit pp each day for breakfast with our booking. Service was very good and coffee was great.

Delicious food and great service

By Yosta5 |

Really enjoyed the service and atmosphere here. We came right before they were going to stop serving breakfast. The waitress made sure to help get our breakfast items in on time and was very knowledgeable about the gluten-free options.

Breakfast amazing. Huge Portions.

By Jennifer |

We stumbled across this place. Amazing food and service. The portions were so large we could have shared a single meal. (Two of us) it was expensive but worth it if it’s in your budget. Breakfast for two about $80

Great casual lunch place!

By LBHouston11 |

In Aria—not a long wait. Great hamburgers and salad. Good service and TVs all over for sports watching. Moderate prices for Vegas!

EXCELLENT FOOD, SERVICE, AND ATMOSPHER!

By TexasTraveler |

While on a recent stay at the Aria Resort and Casino my wife and I dined at the Salt and Ivy for breakfast on two separate occasions. I must say this was a great decision because of the great atmosphere, food, and service. Speaking of service we were privileged to have Kristin and Ryan as our servers. They were wonderful and very professional. We loved their personalities and the fact that they took the time to visit with us even though it was extremely busy in the restaurant. As for the food, we can't say enough about how delicious each entrée was that we ordered. This is a definite "Go To" restaurant if staying in the Aria. Be sure to ask for Kristin and/or Ryan. They are the best and helped put our stay over the top. Thanks guys for a super experience.

Great if there's no wait!

By horninco |

We went by once at 10am and there's a line down the hallway. Came back at 11 and got seated within 5 minutes. Steak sandwich was incredible. Sausage and eggs just average. Great service!

excellent food service and atmosphere

By JAY J |

we loved everything about it good job thump up keep doing the good work you guys amazing we loved our food our host and everything else

Great breakfast and lunch - so convenient when staying at Aria

By merrydb |

Menu isn't expansive but it is varied. Food and drinks were very tasty. Portions good. Open only for breakfast and lunch - which is a bummer as we would have eaten all our meals there if available. Dress is casual so you can make this our stop for sustenance before your day of casino crawling. Price is a bit high but its the Vegas norm for nice atmosphere and convenience.

Consistently Great Food and Service

By Ron A |

Small menu with quality food. Service is spot on and is a great breakfast and lunch option. They don’t except reservations, however you can put your name on the list and go about your business and they will text you when your table is ready.

Ok breakfast

By Nodoor |

After the Aria close the Aria Cafe for breakfast, this is the only place to get a sit down breakfast. We had Avocado toast, salmon and bagel and a couple eggs over 2 visits. It was ok. We actually went to Bellagio to get a traditional omelet, bacon and hash browns.

Just disappointing

By Jo824 |

Not good! The front hostess didn’t even smile and definitely did not want to be working. Told us to stand on the side to wait for a server. After a while we had to ask the wait time, she said 10 min. She should’ve said that to begin with. Restaurant was very empty. Once we got a seat the server wanted to take our order right away. Food came out cold and disappointing. Had to ask for it to be warmed up. Had to ask for more coffee and water. We will not be back.

Breakfast

By Gurmangezgin |

Very nice breakfast spot. We ⁇ the seventh session. No reservations, they pick up in line. Aria is within the hotel.

Best avocado toast

By Ricardo Gazzola |

Best avocado toast I ever had! David is awesome! Look for him and his suggestions and enjoy a really good breakfast!

Looks better than it is

By JoeMasseria |

Was staying at the Aria and usually saw long queues whenever I walked past. I’m not sure if that’s because people are waiting for an outside seat or whether it’s a tactic to make the place look popular and entice clueless people like me. Coffee was very average though far better than the gravy I had at America restaurant the day before at NY NY hotel. Eggs Benedict was presented well and was fine. Think there was a hint of chive in it which wasn’t really needed. Hash browns were solid. My friend had the pancakes and they looked and tasted great. The place reminds me of The Ivy franchise where it looks great on the outside and the vibe inside makes it feel like the food should be good, but it doesn’t match up.

Great food and atmosphere

By MrsCarter627 |

Great spot for breakfast and brunch! We ate here a few times! Enjoyed eating on the patio! Great service! Good was fresh and delicious!

Casual lunch

By Tracey H |

This was a great place to have a casual lunch before my tour I was taking. Food and service were very good. Would definitely go back & try something else.

Excellent "BUT"

By LVPH |

Salt and Ivy was comfortable. Staff were excellent and attentive. Got seated without a reservation each morning either right away or within minutes. Coffee was perfect with a full pot of coffee left on the table which is exactly what we hope for when we go to any breakfast restaurant. Food was excellent and served in a timely way. Now for the BUT Food was over the top expensive if you didn't have comps Only potato option at breakfast was this tiny one inch square hash brown making your plate seem sparse. Seriously, they need to offer another potato option and at least double the portion. No option to have eggs and pancakes unless you order both full portions. One of the few restaurants in Vegas that doesn't give that option. They need to follow Primrose at ParkMGM's Big Breakfast with eggs, meat, pancakes and coffee option.

Not bad

By christinamhart |

Cute, convenient place. Definitely sit outside-weather permitting. The Dutch baby pancake was amazing!

New favourite breakfast spot

By peach8 |

We at breakfast at Salt & Ivy twice during our July 2024 trip to Vegas. Everything we tasted was delicious and the ambience on the patio was perfect. We also had great service. I can’t decide which dish I liked better, as the chilaquiles and the bagel & lox were both fantastic. Primrose and Mon Ami Gabi are our usual breakfast spots, but they couldn’t compete with Salt & Ivy.

Average breakfast

By Ana D |

Other than Starbucks this was the only sit down restaurant for breakfast at the Aria. We wanted to try Starbucks but no where to sit and eat because most of the tables were taken by people with a coffee and laptop. Anyway, wait time was a bit long if you were there after 8am. The staff were very nice. I had something different each day to see what was good. I had scrambled eggs with bacon…way better than the sausage option. I also tried the smoked salmon and bagel….not bad but nothing to rave about. I tried the caramelized banana waffle and pecans was TO DIE FOR!!! Was the best breakfast I had. The coffee is very watery but some people like that..I personally like a stronger coffee. And what they charge for a small thermos of watery coffee is a bit ridiculous (12$). I know it’s Vegas and everything generally are expensive but paying over 60$ for breakfast is a bit ridiculous.

Good Breakfast

By Roman F |

Good food and service. One of the few places in the Aria where you can have a traditional breakfast. Nice seating outside if it's not too hot.

Good Breakfast, though expensive

By Fr3quentTrave11er |

Ate breakfast here, food was good, but not good value for money. For coffee and pancakes for 2, the bill was $65 which is steep to say the least! Also service was a little slow.

Okay food

By TravelMother2015 |

We went to salt and Ivy for breakfast and while their food was good I felt they had a minimal menu. We waited almost we an hour. The wait staff is friendly and it has a beautiful ambiance. The four star rating is because the food was just okay.

Makes me miss Aria Cafe and Herringbone

By Joshua T |

Average food and service and overpriced. If you need a sit down breakfast at Aria you are better off going next door to Sadelle's or Primrose.

Awful awful awful service

By Alejandra P |

Awful awful awful service at front desk. We got there like 10:10am, had to make a 20min line to be added to the waiting list. They’d told us we’d wait 45-60mins, and we waited for an hour to be told out table was ready. When we enter about 40% of the tables are empty, why are they making people wait for an hour? Go figure! We get seated try to order breakfast and they’re like “yes we stopped serving breakfast half an hour ago”. What a joke to make people wait for more than an hour to not even serve them what they went there for. Poor waiter of course has to stand angry customers for their AWFUL organization.

Good place, nothing special

By ChrisTravellerUS |

Went here a number of times for lunch whilst at a conference at the hotel. Sorta disappointing for the long lines and lack of ability to have outdoor lunch, but that seems more a negative comment (and a significant one) at Aria rather than the restaurant. For its part, the summer salad option was actually surprisingly good, definitely worth a reorder, but the entrance line and service delays were unacceptable.

Dutch baby pancakes are the highlight

By Brendan S |

Salt and Ivy provides a good opportunity to try something different with its Dutch Babies - a sort of pan-fried skillet pancake with lemon curd and fruit toppings. Sweet but not quite as intensely sweet as some “dessert pancakes” I have had. Like other Las Vegas restaurants in the mid-Strip luxury casino resorts, it’s very expensive, but that’s what I’ve come to expect on the Strip these days.

Home Run! Love the Iced Tea!

By BNELSON |

Prime Rib Sandwich and Cold Brewed Ice Tea!! table service was a little slow but worth the wait! It was possible that was only one time because of Staffing shortages

Yummy

By Rhonda T |

Salt and Ivy restaurant is a very busy and efficiently run spot for breakfast and lunch. The staff is very engaging. The meals were delightful, delicious and plentiful. I will revisit there next year for the annual birthday vacation.

Excellent food and service!

By Sonya |

We happened upon this restaurant as we were walking through Aria on Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation, but they were able to find us a great table for four of us. The restaurant is airy, but also quiet and intimate. The wait staff were very professional and used traditional serving rules -- serving from the left, clear from the right, serve everyone at the same time, etc. Even though the service was very professional, they staff was NOT stuffy. We were able to laugh and joke with them and they responded in kind. The food was excellent! I had the special fish which was cooked perfectly, We shared the roasted brussel sprouts, which were also delicious. It's on the pricey side -- I think we paid just over $200 for two of us including drinks/wine. I'm VERY willing to pay this price for the delicious food and great service we received.

🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽

By Alan N |

We didn’t want to wait too long to be seated. Walt & Ivey only had a 5 minute wait time so we chose this place to have breakfast. There were empty table and I can only assume not enough workers to “open” those tables for guests. Derive was outstanding as we were constantly checked on. Ordered the Salt & Ivey omelette and banana waffles. We shared our breakfast with each other. Life changing and mind blowing taste. Very delicious food and the “cubed” hash brown was crispy on the outside yet moist on the inside. Banana waffles were the right sweetness. Even the coffee was outstanding. Worth the price. Definitely will return.

I'm a sucker for Chicken and Waffles

By ATAY2571 |

I liked the environment of the place but I don't know that the actual experience was more than average. It was good food, not amazing but definitely, The drinks were good. I think that the prices were a bit high but is a resort in Vegas.

Great lunch menu

By Vickie S |

I got the salmon power bowl and hubby got the caesar salad. But the best dish was the chicken “oysters.” The sauce was the game changer. Would definitely go back.

Very nice patio dining, good service

By Littlegto67 |

We went for breakfast and asked to be seated on the patio. We were told it would be about a 10 minute wait and it was just about 10 minutes before they had us seated. Our server was very nice and the proper amount of attentive. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which were just kind of ok. The chicken is a fried chicken breast which was cooked beautifully, very juicy inside, but as soon as I started to cut it, the breading fell off. The chicken had been placed on the waffle which was not crunchy so the juice from the chicken just made it soggy. It tasted good but I would not order it again. My husband had the shrimp and grits, which were not grits at all but more of a rice congee type thing. The flavors were good but he was thrown off by the texture since it wasn't grits. I would go back but definitely order something different.

Not very good

By chrismranger |

Long queues, apparently due to lack of servers Food selection very average as well Would recommend a miss

Great affordable breakfast lunch place

By kayakPhil |

The original Cafe and buffets were closed at Aria but I discovered this place. Has usual breakfast and lunch fair eg wedge salad and eggs and meat and hash browns. I was thrilled with my poached egg and grits with cheddar and thick candy bacon. Kept me going till dinner.,Great fruit bowls too . TV screens sports lots convention people. Comfortable to eat by yourself. Patio and inside dining 1st come 1st served . No reservations as are most Vegas restaurants during COVID-19. Staff wear masks. No mask required as you sit at table. Will go again.

Good breakfast, but on the expensive side

By Rick H |

We ate here twice for breakfast. The selection was pretty good and the food was good. The service was very slow to take our order and still slow to serve the food. But when the food did arrive it was fine. This is pretty standard breakfast fare but on the expensive side even for Las Vegas. The cost for a couple of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast was about the same as the cost of the Aria's buffet next door.

Great breakfasts!

By M G |

Luv this cafe on the Promenade floor of the Aria casino - you can only sit for an hour so you know you’ll be waited on promptly - had 2 very good breakfasts in the week we visited and it was a 10 both times

Restaurant in crisis

By Uillinoistraveler |

This restaurant had a ton of people scurrying about, but couldn't keep up with a half full restaurant. We arrived 5 after noon to a shallow line with only two parties ahead of us. There was lots of open seating in the restaurant, but about half weren't bussed clear yet. It took about 15 minutes for the first party to be seated, then in 10 minutes the next party and we were seated. After 10 minutes they came to take our drink order, a cocktail for me a juice for my wife. They returned in 5 minutes with the wrong juice then in 5 minutes with the right one, and took our order for two salads. 10 minutes later my drink showed up and 10 minutes later our salads showed up. No offer of another beverage for my wife who had finished her drink before I'd finished mine. All the while we were amazed at the abundance of open tables while a long line of people continued to wait to get in. It was hard to say where exactly the problem was coming from, and it was distressing to witness. Waitstaff was inefficient and wasn't attentive to us. We were finished with our salads and waited for the check. As we paid we noticed the first party that was seated finally received their food about 45 minutes after they were seated. If I had to pinpoint an area of inefficiency I'd start with the three hostesses and the manager manning the entrance and seemingly oblivious to the situation unfolding behind them. Based on this visit I would never return and couldn't recommend you go.

Great Brunch!

By KevinLA310 |

We had a great brunch near the pool on my last stay in Vegas. It was our first time there and I recommend the chillaquiles. I've never had one that good before. We also shared a german pancake. It was fine, but I think I preferred something else instead. Overall, I had a good brunch and would go back again.

Great place for a quick bite

By Minklehole |

The food is very good. The service is very good. Price is great. The servers are very kind and attentive. The only negative is the people that seat you do not smile and seem to be miserable.

Great brunch to start the day.

By Rob H |

This was a great place to fill up before heading for our flight. Traditional breakfast selections cooked to perfection. Orange juice was exceptional. Wait staff were attentive. A great experience overall.

Will return!

By hinhankola |

The nicest breakfast I have ever had! Male waiters instead of women is nice. The food we ordered was beautiful and tasty. The hotel it is in is gorgeous and modern/airy. Near everything and safe! We will return!

Pricey but Good

By R.G. |

Was up at the crack of dawn and went looking for breakfast. Stumbled upon Salt & Ivy. I made a reservation for "now", lol, and was promptly seated on the heated outdoor patio. Couldn't decide between the two egg breakfast or the chicken and waffles. decided on the two-egg breakfast. Great choice. The portion of eggs is pretty generous, and it came with about four slices of crispy bacon and two hash browns. I don't know where to start. The bacon was good, but bacon is hard to mess up. The scrambled eggs were great. The hash browns probably stole the show. Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. I think I tasted a hint of sour cream but I am no chef. Oh yeah, I had an English muffin as well. And the orange juice was clearly not store-bought Tropicana. Very sweet, so if you can't handle sweets don't bother, or water it down. To me it was perfect. I meant to go back the next day to try the chicken and waffles but didn't make it. My waiter was attentive as well. If you are staying at Aria try this place out.

21st birthday breakfast

By Randy J |

2 very nice gentlemen took great care of our family, party of 10…they made sure we had everything we needed, provided a nice birthday treat to the birthday girl and made it a vety nice visit!

Dutch Baby

By Donna |

We enjoyed our lunch here very much. Two of us shared the Dutch Baby which is cooked in a cast iron skillet and was delicious. We chose to have the lemon curd and blueberry topping which is not on the menu but the server gave us the option and it was so good we wanted to lick our plates!

Worst meal in Vegas

By mrsjessicay |

Great service but the food was awful. Cold pastries with cold butter, chicken and waffles was dry and bland. It's almost like the restaurant doesn't have an identity, other than that of a Holiday Inn continental breakfast.

Excellent spot for delicious breakfast

By Janna |

Loved the breakfast sandwich a tad more than the omelette with ham, cheese and mushrooms. Best grapefruit juice. Solid service. Hostesses are a bit underwhelming, and I got the impression that the best tables are not for single diners. Bonus: this place has a patio that looks out over the first pool at the Aria. Seems like you have to ask to be seated there; the hostesses never asked if I wanted to sit inside or outside.

Terrible cold food and non caring attitude by staff.

By Craig D |

Numerous trips to this restaurant over the years and no complaints but today they really fell short of expectations. The food arrived cold and when asked for hot food I got a “deer in headlights look”. So I asked if I could speak to the manager which was a mistake since she was even worse than the waitress. She identified herself after I asked as the General Manager and gave me the I really don’t care short and abrupt answers and seemed I was bothering her and she didn’t have time for this which I thought was part of her job running a restaurant. She never came back to check on us or the food and it arrived cold once again and with some unknown green substance which I pointed out to the waitress and she didn’t know what to say or do at this point. I did take a picture of it which I will share if I can. At this point I just gave up and decided not to eat the food after waiting 40 minutes in line to be seated. Total waste of time. It seems my stay at the Aria/Vdara which is my go to in Vegas but the service is going down hill fast. I also stayed at the Cosmo for 2 days on this trip to utilize my offers and comps and they were spot on with almost everything.

I recommend you pass …

By Vermontraveler19 |

I would pass on eating here. Our food was ok and we didn’t complain about anything but for the price, you will find better food and service elsewhere. I had the grits and I am unsure what kind of grits these were- seemed like tapioca with a ton of cream cheese mixed in (?) The coffee, while served in cute cups, was not tasty. The servers seemed to be working very hard and perhaps they were understaffed. We weren’t checked on, had to request coffee refills, the bill etc. The servers take your order, someone else brings it and boom, they are done. I wonder if we sat outside that we would have enjoyed it more.

Highly recommended

By Eric L |

Great lunch both our meals were exceptional. Prime rib sandwich was delicious and the avocado toast my wife said was top notch.

Best Restaurant on the Strip

By Tracey F |

Salt & Ivy is like a 5 star restaurant in a casual environment. It is located in the Aria Resort, right by the pool. In nicer weather, there is both indoor and outdoor seating. There is no dress code and they have several TV's on inside with ESPN on it. The service we have received here is by far the best of any restaurant we have been too. We have had Kam as our server on several occasions. She is superb! Quick and friendly service at all times. The food is excellent. I will say, it is bit pricey for breakfast, but well worth it. My wife had steak and eggs with hash browns and grilled avocado. I had the 3 organic eggs with hash browns, bacon and toast. I also had a bowl of mixed berries. This, along with drinks came to $100.00. Keep in mind, you are getting grass-fed meat and organic eggs. I'm sure this raises the price a bit, but well worth. You will taste the difference! We both always leave full and that usually holds us off until dinner. Maybe just grab a lite snack in the afternoon to hold you over. So you are saving money by avoiding paying for a full lunch somewhere else. We have made this a MUST stop every time we come to Vegas now. The only negative I can think of about this place is that it is ONLY open until 2PM daily. Wish it was open longer so we could also enjoy dinner there too!

Excellent place to have breakfast.

Sort of pool side, indoor and outdoor seating. It is open for breakfast and lunch. Really good breakfast spot and very popular with the guest. Be ready to wait for a spot.

Great lobster roll

By fast72 |

These guys are busy! Had the lobster roll sandwich with side salad. The lobster had great flavor but seemed on the small side. Service was ok. Not sure if I’d try this place for a few years

Great for Pool Dining

By Michael M |

Less expensive spot on the promenade (2nd level) of Aria. Indoor and outdoor seating available, overlooking the pool. Normally, it is accessible from the pool but due to COVID that entryway was blocked. Great spot to have breakfast or lunch while at the pool. Reserve your pool chair early and make a reservation.

Good breakfast choices. We have eaten here for three times at breakfast. Stays busy. They do not take reservations. You can eat inside or in the patio.

Great Food and Service, but Reservation System Needs Work

By MatthewC713 |

Salt & Ivy delivers consistently great food and is an easy choice for breakfast or brunch at Aria. The menu is solid, everything I ordered was very good, and the service is usually fairly quick. The servers are friendly, attentive, and do a good job checking in without hovering. The main downside is the wait and check-in process. The lines can be a bit of a mess, especially when trying to sort out who has reservations, who doesn’t, and who falls into certain MGM Rewards tiers. Each day it seemed to be an issue, with confusion and frustration among guests. On one occasion, I was seated more than 30 minutes past my reservation time, which took away from the experience. That said, once you’re seated, things generally run smoothly and the food and service make up for a lot of the hassle. If they could clean up the reservation and line management, this would easily be a five-star spot.

Great

Not the best service in the world... Waitstaff was slow but friendly. But the seating options were awesome, meaning nice atmosphere inside and cool and accommodating outside. The food was delicious. Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! The other dishes are extremely solid as well. Highly reccomend.

Poor seating strategy

By R S |

This review is based on two breakfast visits while staying at the Aria hotel late October 2021. We did not return after those visits for obvious reasons. First visit we were told they did not have decaf coffee. Not a big deal, but my wife had to go without coffee for breakfast. I guess decaf isn't popular in Vegas, and I get it. Second visit, the waiter did offer decaf, which was a plus. The complaint was with our seating. My wife arrived before I did and requested outdoor seating. She was told they weren't seating outside, yet many couples were walked outside immediately after we were seated. It was early and the restaurant was not crowded, yet she was seated at one of the worst tables in the place, on the main path through the restaurant. So you might want to prepare to ask for a better table if eating at this restaurant.

Disappointed and mistakes & too much $$$$$

By Philip Raymond R |

Lively café they have American style food open from 6 to 2 tabs in the TVs on with sports and they serve cocktails and beer near the pool. Indoor outdoor patio. Got food to go and my go to dish Southern Grits w bacon & shrimp . My dish ok as expected. My wife got oatmeal & wheat toast w butter & jam . I charged to room And went 1/2 way to 24 th floor & looked bag , no toast. I went back & they put toast another customer bag. I went to room , no butter or jam or brown sugar oatmeal. I got my 10,000 steps going back a 2nd time to restaurant. I had left a tip too. Very aggravated.

Excellent brunch spot-Make a reservation!

By ttimeatharrods |

Delicious brunch food & excellent service. Made a reservation to skip the line and that was a smart move. Very busy late morning brunch during F1 weekend and we were delighted by the very friendly service. Breakfast sandwich was ENORMOUS and so yummy! This is a much better option at the Aria if you’re looking for sit down table service vs the food court area. Would definitely return.

Great breakfast choice

Great restaurant for breakfast and lunch located within the Aria Hotel and Casino. I especially recommend the Belgian waffle with berries for breakfast, it was outstanding.

lovely breakfast

By Joanne B |

We arrived early on our last morning because we know this place can get busy. our group was 11 in total with 3 small children so waiting is not fun. on arrival we only had to wait 5 minutes while they put a table together for us. our table was amazing, we were sat out on the patio all together on our own little area so very impressed with lovely views and nice fresh air a t that time of that day because it was a heat wave during our stay. Food was amazing, everyone was happy (just wish they had a children's menu because there was a lot of waste from a huge stack of pancakes for our 4 year old) Staff were all lovely and kept offering extra coffee and other drinks throughout. wanted to visit this place for a while and we were very impressed so will certainly return on another trip.

Great

By Brittinae C |

We went at 7am on a Monday. The line was ridiculous on the Saturday before. Breakfast was great. The server we had was experienced and efficient. We ordered the Apple Dutch baby, banana brûlée waffle, lobster toast, 3 egg breakfast, and fresh watermelon juice.

Very good breakfast at the

By wvillamil |

Very good breakfast at the aria. The hash browns were these small squares which tasted a lot better than they looked. They were very flavorful.

Great options all day long

By Danielle V |

We ate here for breakfast one day and for a quick lunch the other day. The lunch was great, we were able to sit outside and enjoy ourselves while have a good meal. The lunch menu is very small but some tasty options for sure. We had the lobster roll and Caesar salad. For breakfast we had the Breakfast Sandwich (this is big enough for 2 to share easily)! The avocado toast was great too! The breakfast is a bit overpriced but all in all you are at Aria, one of the better resorts on the strip. The service was good and the restaurant is very clean. I would recommend checking it. I wish they had more options for lunch like their small bites so you can get some more seafood options for a lighter lunch.

Not Even Close To The Cafe

By Larry G |

ARIA shut down The Cafe, a very spacious dining room with multiple terraces, huge window views and great menu for this second hand restaurant on the second floor that is way too small to be a cafe. Only open from 6AM to 2PM, tables are tightly spaced and the menu is average at best. We had to return our breakfast (cold eggs are not tasty). The place is not relaxing although they have an outdoor dining section but when it's 100 outside, please. The biggest problem at ARIA there are no other decent breakfast alternatives since they closed the buffet. Wait times here averaged an hour. YIKES!

Unique

By Niki |

We tried a few appetizers and they were unique but tasty. It was on the more expensive side for a small snack, but the drinks made it worth it for me. Their bloody mary was amazing. I loved the aesthetic of the outdoor seating, it was serine and I love the plants and citrus trees!

Predictable and Reliable

By Matt B |

Good server, ok food at an expensive price point for breakfast. My waffle was very good but the rest of the meals were hit or miss. Service was slow but he listened well and made no mistakes. Brace for $50 a person for breakfast which is a bit silly but it was a middle of the road experience.

Food is great

By justacomment |

We have been here for breakfast/brunch numerous times. Regina was our waitress this time and she was so nice. She gave us a number of suggestions and we took them all. We were not disappointed. Both the food and drink menus have a large variety and all items are good quality. Do be aware they do not take reservations and there is usually a line.

Good for brrakfast

By gwen k |

Ate breakfast there two days. Food is great and priced reasonably. The first day we ate inside. The wait for food was ridiculously long. We ate on the patio the next day and it was much quicker. Good Bloody Mary. They don’t take reservations, but they have a separate line for Platinum and NOIR.

They Allow Dogs to Dine Here 🤬🤬🤬🤬

By Diane M |

We truly did enjoy this place for breakfast UNTIL they let a dog in (not a service dog). These people never should have been seated in the first place. This dog sat on its owner’s lap, put its head and paws all over the table. Absolutely disgusting!!!! We left! As a side note, the food was decent and our server was very nice. We originally planned on going here again tomorrow for breakfast - NOT!

2 amazing breakfasts!

Food and drinks were delicious. we ate on the patio both mornings. no Queues before 9am, server Michael was great. Pricey but worth it!

Just had breakfast at this

By 22tea22 |

Just had breakfast at this place normally I’d wait till I got back home to write a review, so the waitress who took our order and was never seen again till she brought our chk ask how was everything I responded “ HIDEOUS AT BEST “ on reflection that was prolly and understatement, I mean have you ever gone to a restaurant for breakfast and the server never comes back to refill your drinks coffee & soda in this case WTH Her breakfast bacon & scrambled eggs ask for fruit instead of “ breakfast potatoes “ can you call 2 2X2 inch squares of potatoes breakfast potatoes? Anyway got potatoes not fruit, I will say the eggs and bacon were excellent His 2 eggs over medium , pork sausage and those potatoes 😝those eggs were extra small and cooked to oblivion the sausages I could not cut through the skin w/ the knife obviously those sausages sat around for a very long time Now that breakfast was $50 w/out tip I left a $2 tip why I don’t know maybe in my subconscious mind I was thinking it’s an insult the way she insulted me w/ I can’t say terrible service because there was NO SERVICE!!! And having a whole family in the restaurant business my whole life a tip is based on the service or lack of in this case not the total of the bill recommended in this case 18%,20% or 25% A good server checks the order makes sure the order is correct & and the food is edible before they bring it to the customer, a good sever comes to the table and ask if you want a refill of your beverages, a good server observes you and returns to ask before YOU FINISH your meal how is everything not after!!! That’s how a good server gets 18%,20%,25% or more So my bad food and the server bad service I give it a 1 star you may have a better experience you may have a worse experience Remember the hospitality industry works for you and there goal should be to give you the best most memorable experience while on your vacation you have the choice to stay and visit wherever you want they should strive to get and keep your business don’t settle for MEDIOCRE service ,

Salt & Ivy

By TristanG81 |

Another recommendation that did not disappoint. No reservations are taken and don’t be put off by the queue as this moves quickly and is worth the wait. If you are in a hurry then speak to the host as if the bar seating is free then you don’t need to queue! The staff are attentive and the food is served quickly. The food is amazing and definitely sets you for the day, can highly recommend the Salt & Ivy Omelette and the Breakfast Sandwich👌 The ‘About last Night’ is a perfect wake you up cocktail…. When in Vegas….

Great food and the patio was lovely.

By Julie H |

We had breakfast on Sunday. The wait was about 20 minutes to get a table. It was in the high 50s but comfortable with heaters and a fleece. The servers were attentive. The courtyard was lovely and the food was so good.

Rude hostess Alana

By Brian O |

This past weekend, we stayed at the Aria to celebrate my father-in-law's 86th birthday. On November 7th (my father-in-law's actual birthday), we decided to walk over to Salt & Ivy for brunch. We were told the wait was going to be approximately 90 minutes (which is understandable on a Sunday). We gave the hostess our cellphone number and we were told that we would get a text message as soon as our table was ready. We walked around a bit while we waited and came back to the hostess stand 45 minutes later to see how much longer the wait would be (my father-in-law was tired and was suffering from low blood sugar). We were hoping we could get seated a little earlier. Unfortunately, there was still going to be a wait. My wife explained our situation to one of the hostesses and another hostess (who refused to identify herself) overheard the conversation and said very sarcastically, "Yeah, well I get low blood sugar too." This comment was extremely rude, unprofessional, and very insensitive (especially to a hotel guest who is 86 years old). My wife asked the hostess the name of the rude hostess and was told that they weren't allowed to give out their names. My wife then asked to speak to the manager. My wife saw the rude hostess speaking to the manager off to the side and then the hostess came back and said, "My name is Alana and the manager will be right over." Meanwhile, my father-in-law found an empty seat (from a party that had just left) and sat down due to his condition. Another hostess saw him sitting there and told him he had to sit somewhere else and pointed to a few benches around the corner. My father-in-law explained his situation and the hostess did not even offer a glass of water or a piece of bread to tide him over. The manager never came over to speak with us and we never got a text message that our table was ready. We had to eat at another restaurant nearby. Alana should not be in her current position and/or in the public's eye. I would bet that Alana's grandfather would be mortified and embarrassed that his granddaughter treated another person the way she did. We will not be back.

Delicious brunch in the sunshine

By lausam |

Delicious food, relatively healthy options (the healthiest we found in Vegas!) But most importantly the one place we found where we could comfortably eat outside. Lovely setting, nit on the main road with palm trees and private tables, decent heaters so we were warm and sitting in the sunshine. After days of eating inside hotels this was a real joy

Overpriced mediocre food….

By stanj98 |

Decided to try this spot for a sit down breakfast. Staff was friendly and service was decent. From our party of 4, we had Eggs Benedict, the Breakfast sandwich, and the Oatmeal. Oatmeal was decent but both the sandwich and Eggs Benedict were mediocre at best. Considering the prices, there are a lot better choices for breakfast close by and this Cafe is not up to Aria or Bellagio standards considering these prices. If your desperate, you can get in and out quickly. Otherwise, it’s a definite pass.

Good for breakfast or lunch at Aria

By Bob H |

The restaurant is on the second floor of the hotel, near the now empty buffet. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The outdoor seating is next to the pool. They serve a limited menu of breakfast and lunch items. Their online menu gives contradictory opening times, but when I was there, they opened at 7:00 a.m. and closed early afternoon. The entrees are a bit pricey, but hey, it's Vegas.

Good Morning Breakfast

Good food! Nice wait staff, super clean facility. Really fast service too, and good coffee too, which is always nice

Biscuits and Gravy!!!

By dmertz1975 |

I’ll admit, I wasn’t even paying attention when the waitress came by—I was chatting with another table. I glanced at the menu for about three seconds and blurted out “biscuits and gravy.” My wife gave me the look like, “Really? That’s what you’re going with?” Well, let me just say—it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. These were hands down the best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. I’ve even tried searching for a recipe to replicate them and came up empty. OMG… if you get the chance, order them. You will not be disappointed!
