Had lunch here Tuesday afternoon, just before rush hour. Yesterday's wait was too long. Sat outdoor along the Riverwalk. Great scenery. Ordered a burger with a side salad. Ask for the dressing on the side, otherwise your salad is overwhelmed. Burger was superior to that I had yesterday and at a lesser price! No outdoor wifi. Service was very good. Super clean bathroom.

Food was very good. Very good service. We were not disappointed. Really enjoyed eating next to the riverwalk. Will definitely return.

The location is nice on the riverwalk. we ordered steaks. My husband ordered ribeye which was okay. I ordered a Steak and Shrimp and the meat was raw even though I had ordered it medium. That was really a pity. The salad was okay and they have very good bread and butter from the kitchen to start with. Looking back it was a pity I did not ask them to redo the steak, but we were in a hurry to see the saga at the San Fernanado cathedral, so we just accepted. So only 3 stars.

A group of 4 friends stopped here for dinner after an awful experience at Landry's Seafood. The service was excellent, the food was good and everything was cooked as ordered Will definitely visit here again.

Horrible service, horrible food those are the quickest ways to sum up the experience. The fact that managers were comping all the tables around us when we got there should have been a clue, however we decided to stay not only was the food under cooked or overcooked depending upon the dish but everyone in our party got sick as well.

They have the best Mac&Cheese in all America!!! The food was increible and Inessa is the best!!! Thanks 4 everythig u made our visit in San Antonio unforgettable!!!

My wife and I were on vacation and met with family members of hers, Her Nephew and I ordered steak. The ladies had fish and were satisfied ,My steak came to me somewhat cold and his was under cooked. I couldnt complain because my wife didnt want any attention. So I called 6-15-19 and made a complaint on the phone. The manager Mr Clint Ragsdale apologized and stated that he wanted to make it up to me by sending a gift card to have another steak on him, I thought ( Great ) 10-27-19 I called to remind him of his good will. 11-6-19 Again I called to remind him of his good will. Till this day, 3-5-20 still nothing. First cold steak and then a Liar. Never going back !!

We were greeted by Ryan a very nice waiter. He was able to recommend all the best things they had to offer. Would go back and visit anytime!

I had ordered delivery and the order was just wrong. Not the delivery, but the actual order. I called and talked to a manager at, who did not want to listen to the fact the order itself was wrong, but she wanted nothing to do except blame the delivery company and promise she would have the delivery company make a refund. Over a month later, no refund - probably refused because it WAS NOT THE DELIVERY COMPANIES FAULT!!!! The second time, I made a $200 dollar order for all our managers here. I prepaid the order, and when I arrived at the time the order was supposed to be ready, I went to the bar and was quickly ignored. Finally I got the bartenders attn, and let her know I was there to pickup an order. Evidently as I still had to wait another 45 minutes, they did not even put the order in until I showed up. The temperature on the food (as in the steaks) was all overcooked, and the rest of it was mediocre at best. I have sent two emails about the experience, and not received any reply.

I ordered a tall beer and, halfway through, had a huge fly dive in and die in it, still floating there when the waiter asked if he needed to replace it or should I. Should this have even been a discussion?? I asked him to do what was right. Another waitress returned with 2 beers. I accepted one of them (I couldn’t possibly drink both) which eventually I paid another $9 for. Not what I expected. I didn’t want to ruin our evening by pushing back. We still tipped well, but I regretted it later.

I had a bad experience trying to pickup my order. The employee at the bar completely ignored me when I asked for my order. She instead decided to help others who were after me. I'm very disappointed on this restaurant.

We stopped along the Riverwalk to have a burger. We found the Saltgrass Steak House to just the place. The soup and salad was also a winner.

Absolutely horrible service. Food is not good. Party of 12. Food took 45 minutes to receive. Asked for drink menu and never received. Asked our waitress multiple times for for items and never received. Food served cold. Waitress has no business being a waitress, to sorry to say. Unfortunate representation of San Antonio. Tourists and locals please stay away.

Excellent food, excellent service. Our family of 5 enjoyed a wonderful meal in a great atmosphere. We highly recommend.

Good service on a busy night. Juan one of the busboys was super helpful and made sure we were taken care of the whole night! Our wait staff was decent, but Juan definitely made the difference! Dinner came out quickly and everything tasted good.

We had a late lunch to avoid the crowds on spring break. Service, food and drinks were excellent. Especially enjoyed the tropical drink.

The restaurant has Texan decor and is homey. The service is ok as we had a trainee so sometimes not attentive enough. The food was great with our Country Fried Steaks beautifully cooked and tasty. The servings were large and we couldn't finish them. The accompanying salad was equally large and fresh.

Visited over Christmas and had read reviews before which were mixed but we had a great time. No reservation was made so we had a drink at the bar whilst we waited which was great. We were then shown to our table, the waitress was excellent as was the food. We all agreed we’d have gone back if we had the time whilst visiting San Antonio but unfortunately we didn’t as it was over the Christmas period.

Very good food! Our waiter was very friendly and service was quick but not rushed. I would highly reccommend.

Came with a party of 4 friends on a Monday night. Three of us ordered NY Strip, one ordered a sirloin. Salads came out with no problem, pretty basic garden salads. Next all the meals came. The Sirloin was ordered medium- well but came out much rarer then all of the NY strips which were ordered medium. Our waiter came by very quickly to check on us and we were able to send the sirloin back to be cooked a little more. Unfortunately, that took about 15 mins and the three of us with NY strips were done by the time the sirloin came back out. This time it was cooked perfectly but when we mentioned the wait and original undercooked streak to the manager he basically shrugged his shoulders at us. Nothing at all was done to compensate for the inconvenience. The food was over all very tasteful, we all agreed that the best part of the meal was the green beans.

My wife had the grilled chicken and loved it. I got a half rack of ribs and was disappointed. The portion size was excellent and they were baby back, but the flavor was lacking. It only had sauce to supply flavor for there was no rub or even salt and pepper added when it was cooked.

I should have know from the beginning that this was not going to be a good experience. While walking the River Walk, we saw the restaurant and figured we'd try it for dinner. We came in and noticed that there were many open tables. We asked if we needed a reservation and the lady said that they might be fully booked. So she was able to get us a table outside. We hurried up to make sure that we didnt miss our reservation. We get to restaurant and place looked almost empty. I always get a bad feeling when a restaurant in a very popular destination is empty. So we got our table. It was nice. The server took a good while to even greet us. He and another girl just kept walking by and not even acknowledging our presence. He finally came up and took our drink order. I asked about the wine and he really had no knowledge. I ended up choosing a glass of wine from the list. He didn't bother to offer a bottle which is what I was hoping. At this point I just wanted to eat and get out. We noticed that the table next to us had some bread. So i had to chase the waiter down and ask if we could have an order of the bread and he mentioned that it was included. He took a while to get it. I ordered a ribey medium. Steak was cooked pretty good but, wow, it was nothing to brag about. I had to get A1 to put some flavor in it. I did have to chase another kid down to get the A1. Server never came back to check on us. We were hoping to have dessert with wine but we were ready to leave. Then, i was told that i had to find some website so that I could pay. I had to put in all my information. What a horrible system to pay a restaurant check. We should've gone to Chili's where we would've had great service and the steak would've been much tastier and cheaper. I don't understand why people make such a big deal about this restaurant. 😕

Eat here. Make reservations for about 7 pm and make sure you get outside seating (except during winter). Stick to steaks and I highly recommend the steak and shrimp with a side of mash potatoes. The atmosphere is relaxing and if you're outside you will be right next to the River Walk! During winter months the River Walk is decorated with Christmas lights. Definitely a must for couples when visiting San Antonio.

Wonderful place. We stumbled upon it while looking for a place for a semi late night dinner. What a find!! We ordered the pork ribs with two sides to split. Seriously the best ribs we have had in the south or southwest. The split was a great call as it way more than enough for two. Priced very reasonably! The server was super friendly and good ( as we experienced in most of San Antonio!). Highly recommend!!

As a Landry’s and Saltgrass member to my dismay I realized today that the Saltgrass increased prices by 10% and took some key items, the 10 oz ribeye off the Lunch Menu. Addressed this with the manager and he was dismissive and just said they were not making enough money. The restaurant has been struggling with price value and with these changes it’s even worse. They will probably lose my business as it has become too expensive and with poor choices.

Decent food although everything was a wait. It was about 20 mins before we even had a drink. The waiting staff looked massively under pressure, rushing about and the they all looked stressed and weren’t the friendliest. Good steaks though but the service and atmosphere always play a huge role in a meal I find.

Here is the good: 1) the tables overlooking the riverwalk are nice, and it ends there. If you are looking for a decent meal, go somewhere else. The food is below average, and for the price $75 without alcohol there are better choices. The service was not good, the waitress we had seemed to have too many tables to work. This is a chain restaurant that serves bland food, poor service, and prices reserved for the better restaurants.

The place is nice, typical chain steak house Food ok steak not done right Manager tried to help but still not great Looked like thinnish frozen meat to me By the why the drinks were not well made well

Good value in a superior location. Didn't quite bump up into excellent but if we could rate a 4.5, Saltgrass would have earned it. Nice service, great attention to our GF restrictions, just the right amount of touch at the table. Great Texas steakhouse experience without some of the pomp and all hat no cattle vibe that can come with it.

Becky, our waitress, and Ms. K, our hostess, were amazing! Checked on us regularly. Food, service, and atmosphere were wonderful :)

I wanted to have some steak while in San Antonio. Other restaurants were significantly higher priced. We waited ~40 minutes and service was friendly and efficient nice we had a table.

Four of us were on the Riverwalk for our mother daughter trip. All food was cold to luke warm. 2 of us had the ribeye and another the sirloin and shrimp. The butter never did melt on the top but how could it on cold steak. The other had the ribs and all food was cold. Very disappointed as I am the one who bragged about it and totally did not live up to it.

Three in our party, greeted by a not so enthusiastic manager and hostess. In this time of Covid, you think businesses would try great customer service approach which should be the norm. The steaks were cold and tough. Didn't have time for a redo so we settled. Our waiter was great, friendly and made sure we had everything we needed!

We plan stayed in town for a concern and wanted a good filet without spending big bucks. Saltgrass delivered! We had and outdoor table and enjoyed the beautiful view while we leisurely enjoyed the filet mignon. The server was Axl, who provided the exact right of attention (refilling iced tea without asking). We’ve been Laundrys member for many years, and being a member significantly reduced the wait time.

Server was very new—but nice. Ambience was casual. Dinners were not pretty but tasted good. An adequate meal, but not super fancy

Service was good for sure! Truly appreciate the people who were working. Did see a mouse inside the restaurant which soured my appetite, also ordered my food and it took an hour for it to come to my table. When the food finally came it was cold. Manager did comp the whole meal but between the mouse and the cold food it wasn't enough for me to even want to order a new steak. Again like I said the people were friendly.

Terrible service, the hostess a (hairless guy) bad appearance, I think he was drunk, very rude he asked us to wait 45 minutes he asked for our phone number and he never called when I told him because he didn't give me a table he got crazy and there were tables, I hope the owner takes action on the matter, because the place is not working

A cozy restaurant with tasty meat, chicken, etc. and lots of vegetables. Staff friendly and pleasant, the place is neat and clean

On a beautiful river walk afternoon we stopped into the Saltgrass Steakhouse for a light lunch. I had the chopped steak with roasted green beans. Those green beans were really good. My husband had the chicken fried steak with those good roasted green beans. He said the gravy and batter was very tasty. Our server Candace was very helpful and attentive.

Had reservations. Walk-ins seated before us. Escorted to a table by a door to the outside (temp 51*). Asked hostess several times about our waiter. (Several guests seated after us already had their beverage and order taken). Asked to be moved to a less drafty table..moved one table over). Server finally came, ordered water and 1 coffee. Fifteen minutes later got water and 2 coffees. The restaurant was not crowded and yet it took another 25 minutes for our dinner to arrive. Ordered steak medium, got rare. We have been wanting to dine at Saltgrass for a long time. This was to be our early Christmas celebration. Not much of a celebration. Disappointing.

If you are on a schedule this is not the place to eat. Wait time was almost 1 hour. Loud and crowded on a Monday night. Food was ok.

We visited the San Antion River walk and stopped at the location on the river walk. The hostess was EXTREMELY rude! She made us leave our drinks on the counter and was rude about it. We are follow the rules type ppl but it was so bad we became irritated. I can not express how rude the hosted was! My daughter had to use the bathroom and they made her go upstairs even though there was one downstairs. That just added fuel to my already started fire!

Steak was cooked perfectly to order specification. Kids menu had plenty of options. The smells from our hotel pool deck led us to Saltgrass Steakhouse and we were not disappointed. Waitstaff was attentive. we appreciated the air conditioning after spending most of the day in the heat.

Julian gave awesome customer service. The steak was cooked to order and seasoned well. The restaurant is nestled next to the river walk.

This is a great restaurant right on the Riverwalk. I had a ribeye steak for lunch which was cooked exactly the way I like it. My server, Savannah, was very attentive even though it was busy. I would definitely eat here again!

We went back for a 2nd time. First time we had stuffed fish plates it was well cooked and delicious, and you can choose your sides. 2nd time around my husband ordered Angus Steak with his sides and I grilled chicken with sides. Both were great and the waiter both times were pleasant and visible. Thank you, we will be back

We had excellent service from Jessica H (originally from San Diego). The food was very good too. Every Saltgrass we have eaten at has been consistently good. We highly recommend it

Closed out our girls trip weekend at Saltgrass Steak House and were pleasantly surprised. The menu had a variety of offerings and each of us found something we could enjoy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable - offering great suggestions when asked questions about the menu. Would definitely return.

This is a chain restaurant and should have expected as much. A little pricey, food was not that good, and service was awful. Went here for dinner and wished we chose somewhere else. Do not recommend at all.

We loved the food so much we went 2 nights in a row. The first night a young lady named Kelsey waited on us & was awesome. She knew it was our anniversary & recommend drinks, food & dessert. She was fun & constantly making sure we were taken care of :)

Nice restaurant right on Riverwalk with excellent view of passersby and excellent food and service. If sitting outside, there is a section that sits just above the street offering a great view but not feeling like everyone is ogling your meal.

What you would expect from a tourist area. The food was ok, the service was ok, jammed packed with people all eating mediocre food but enjoying theirselves and having family time. It wasn’t hard to get a reservation. If you are on the walk and are starving I’d say stop, if not look for a better place nearby off the Walk.

I was in town for a work conference and my boss and I decided to go here for dinner. I was so excited for a good steak while in Texas. I got the Pat's Ribeye 12oz and my boss got the 16oz, each with garlic mashed potatoes. It was DELICIOUS! I tend to be extra judgy because my Dad has always made a mean Ribeye, and this place did excellent. I love juicy pink in the middle and normally order medium, it was recommended to go Medium Rare which I did and it was perfect. I only wish there were more mashed potatoes! If you like a fruity drink, try the Tropical Sangria... Also very yummy. Got the tortilla soup with my meal and it was tasty, not actually what I expected compared to ones I've had around home (Pittsburgh) but still very good. They also had a few beers on draft - we found other restaurants didn't always have draft. This is located right on the Riverwalk and has seating both inside and outside, overlooking the water. Great service and a great meal!

Stopped in to Saltgrass on the Riverwalk in San Antonio while on vacation. After being seated by the host at the front of the house, the service tempo ramped up significantly with water and bread/ butter. While our server struck us as being quite experienced, her hurried approach left us wondering if she had been triple-sat or had customers at both inside and outside tables. We didn't dare ask because our server was not at our table for more than a few seconds at a time. Our order (salad appetizers and two 6 oz Top Sirloins done Medium Rare) was taken. Our salad arrived later than we though was appropriate (about 10 minutes) after our drinks and bread arrived. About halfway through our salad, our steaks were delivered by a kitchen expediter. We cut into both and found they were rare...not medium rare. Not seeing a manager or our server, we proceeded with our meal. We did receive a drink refill soon afterwards but it was well too late for our server to act since, in our opinion, the meal was delivered too soon. We finished our meal and waited several minutes before our server rushed to our table and apologized for the wait. We asked for the bill and paid it as soon as it arrived. We did not ask to speak to management nor did we relay our less than pleasant dining atmosphere to our server...it would have had no retroactively calming effect on us and we vowed to not return anytime soon.

Great experience! Food, service, and outdoor seating were wonderful. Steak was cooked perfectly. Service was top notch by Angela. Would definitely return.

To begin my review I would like to recognize our waitress, Angela. She was an excellent waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and spot on with recommendations. She was extremely professional. Our food, steaks and shrimp, were prepared perfectly. Our drinks were tasty

Ate in the bar while on business. Service was great, people friendly and an excellent steak. Had a NY Strip cooked to perfection. Good iceberg wedge. The liquor is expensive, $12.50 for a shot glass worth! Stick with cokes or a tall beer. 22. oz. Was shocked by how little the pour was for $12.50. Rent's must be expensive along the Riverwalk. I enjoyed my dinner, but had sticker shock regarding the liquor.

To be fair, we had eaten here the day before and the food and service were good. But this time, we had a horrible experience. Things started ok and the salad we’re served promptly, but there was a long wait for the main course. When it did arrive, my ribs were so overcooked and dry it was almost inedible. Our waiter never came back to check on us, so I had to looking for him. He took it away and brought another, which this time was so under cooked it was cold on the inside. Again so sign of the waiter so had to go myself and find the manager. He apologised, but it was a very poor experience and I shall not be eating here again

Very similar to several steakhouses we have in Omaha. Bread, salad, cut of meat. They do serve their steak with the temperature toward the rare side. Table next to us created a scene over how the food was cooked.

Nice outside table overlooking the River along the River Walk. Heater kept us warm, great waiter and very good Steak would recommend if you are looking for a nice meal at a reasonable price.

Great food with a nice riverwalk front atmosphere. We ate an early dinner here one evening. All of the riverfront restaurants stay packed (like at maximum capacity) from 5pm on. Make a reservation ASAP if you want to go around that time!

A very good visit during dinner with the family after a visit to San Antonio , personnel very receptive friendly, excellent temperature on beverage’s and very taste food , all environment was very nice my wife was in celebration and she received flowers. Very nice experience.

We planned a nice steak when we were in Texas and decided on this restaurant with the help of a staff member in a nearby bar when we had a lunchtime beer. We weren't disappointed. Food was served with a smile in good time and it was excellent. We sat outside and watched the world go by beliw us.

We hade reservation and we got there early and had a drink at the bar. Our filet was wonderful it just melted in your mouth!

Last night of sales mtg, out with team for something outside hotel and not TexMex. So we walked the Riverwalk and came across SaltGrass. We agreed on menu & had a wonderful meal of steaks or pork chops or variety of food. Apps were tasty too.

Great rib-eye steaks, cooked to perfection! Texas ambiance but very tastefully done to make one's River Walk experience just right. Reasonable prices and super service.

We were there for our birthday dinner. We were treated like royalty. We had Salmon, and red fish. We had an appetizer of Shrimp cocktail. It was perfect. The waiter also got us virgin drinks of two fruit juices, which he did not charge us for! We got one cheesecake to go and one we ate there. We were also able to sit on the outside balcony and see the carolers going up and down the river. Our waiter was very gracious. Because of him and his generousness (and the Landry's Select Membership benefit of $25 credit in your birth month...) we only had to pay a small amount for our meal. We gave him a large tip for all he had done for us.

The manager, Clint, handled our reservation for 22 with very friendly service and responsive communication. We were seated at 2 long tables each with its own waiter. The orders were taken quickly and served together. The steaks were delicious and perfectly cooked (even for my husband who asked for something between rare and medium rare!) The restaurant was right in the heart of the action on the Riverwalk and within walking distance from our Hilton hotel.

Steaks really expensive. I ordrred a 12 oz ribeye steak medium. I got a steak that was about a quarter of inch thick and no marbling. I could have had two steaks from HEB and done a better job at home. The potato and salad were up to par and the waitstaff was outstanding. It was the quality of the steak that was very disappointed when you consider the price.

Texas has so many wonderful places to get a good steak…The Salt Grass didn’t disappoint. I had the center round steak…and it was as good as the filet…perfectly cooked. The slide salad wedge salad was huge…and was a meal unto itself. Best wedge salad I have ever had. I am looking forward to my next visit.

When you are in the vicinity of Branson Landing, check out Saltgrass. The warm, friendly ambiance of wood tones and soft lighting make for an unusual combination of upscale yet homey. The varied menu should provide a meal you will enjoy. For seafood, I recommend the Shrimp Duo. The prices are what you would expect for a restaurant of this quality. Including the tip, the bill for my wife and I usually is between $60 to $65. The wait staff is experienced. For special attention ask for Nancy.

Nothing special and the meal was a little pricey. Good service and good margaritas. Lots of other places to eat steak.

I had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The hostess, Celia, and our waitress, Faith, were both friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our view of the river. The weather was warm but fans kept us cool. The food was excellent. My wife's shrimp coctail had the best shrimp that we have ever had in a restaurant, extremely fresh. My salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was superb. We look forward to returning...

The preparation method and terms of all steak-related meals is just perfect. The food is not that cheap though.

We both had the steak and shrimp lunch special which was tasty. Steak was flavorful but a little tough but somewhat expected as this is not a high end steak restaurant. Excellent service from James.

The quality of filet at Saltgrass was very disappointing. Cooked perfect, but dry and grainy. Our first visit to the New Braunfels location.

Took out of town guests to enjoy a lunch on the Riverwalk. The tables overlook the Riverwalk rather than crowded on the walkway itself. Really enjoyed the cocktails and food. My brother-in-law said it was the best beef tips he ever had, and he is a beef-loving foodie.

Dinner prices are more reasonable before 6 pm. Happy hour at the bar and not at the tables. unless you ask. Nice view of the river walk and cruises. Waitress did not know the prices for beer and well drinks??????? Sorry, but we don't order things without knowing the price first!! She came back later with some prices. $20 steak dinner was tasty.

Dined at the Saltgrass on the Riverwalk. It was okay, the service was good, and we did enjoy the food. For the price and brand, we thought it would or could have been better. We were looking forward to eating there but ended up being a little disappointed overall . Could have gotten a less expensive, better quality meal at a no-name restaurant, but not on the Riverwalk.

Recently visited this place given it had a gluten free menu and it was in a decent location when we were doing the river walk. The gluten free menu has a fair bit of choice and we got there for the early evening menu and luckily I could still benefit from the offer. As a coeliac it can be hard to trust places to completely understand how important it is to have a completely gluten free meal. I opted for a plain steak, jacket potato and a salad and had no reaction. The reason for an average rating, it is a chain restaurant and was just ok, we have had better but it did tick the gluten free box. The interior is pretty dated and they didn’t have any cider sadly.

Ate here twice during our 6 night stay in San Antonio, on our last evening we enjoyed a tremendous meal but our server was an utter delight. A young man long hair tied back, a credit to the establishment knowledgeable in regards to the product, check backs taken and more importantly felt was allowed to show his personality during the service , I do apologise as I can’t recall his name (Josh/Justin possibly) if by my description you could pass on my thanks would be most appreciated

The place is in a very beautiful spot. The attention was good and food came out prompt. Right after we paid my credit card was compromised. I highly suspect that someone in this establishment sold my information. Better off paying cash!

I arrived at Saltgrass and asked for a table. I did not have reservations and was told it would be a 2 hour wait, no one was waiting, there was nobody standing there, tons of tables open, oh well. I decided to stand around and wait then walked around finally came back and was seated. It took them 35 minutes to acknowledge me at the table. After she took my drink order it took her another 30 minutes to get my drink to the table. I was ready to order she said she'd be right back, 15 minutes later she came back and took my food order. My salad came out within minutes and so did my meal I didn't have time to even put the salad dressing on my salad before my meal showed up. HI ordered a ribeye steak medium and a baked potato loaded. The bake potato wasnt and even cooked, it was so hard I had to cut through it with a steak knife and the steak was so rare that I'm not sure it was ever cooked. I tried to get my waitress's attention she never showed up, waiters after waiters walked by and I tried to get their attention to get my server, never happened. I ate about 2 bites of the steake couldn't stomach it left it where it was, did not finish the potato finished my drink which sat empty for quite a while. I asked for a manager none ever showed, when I asked for the check I got it within moments. I paid the check I left and upon leaving I asked for a manager again at the front door it took about 10 minutes but a manager finally showed up. When I told him what happened his response was "OK have a great night"... Not what I call customer service at all... Fellow travelers do yourself a favor there's tons of options on the riverwalk, bypass this 1 they don't care about you they don't care about the service they give you they just care about getting your money.

Hubby wanted steak. During our Riverwalk boat ride, we scoped out restaurants along the way. We found this Steak House. I was disappointed that outside seating was over an hour wait, but we opted for inside. We had a great server, Roman! We got drinks and then steaks, all were delicious! We were there for the Early Dining 11am-6pm and ordered Bacon Wrapped Filets. They were both perfectly cooked (medium and well done). Great Experience for our first time in San Antonio and eating at Saltgrass Steak House.

We were on the river walk and looking for a steak and this was the top rated one. It was a Tuesday and there was no wait. I got the ribeye with a loaded baked potato. It came with a salad but I never received it unfortunately or bread. The steak was really good and was cooked perfectly and the garlic butter on it was delicious. The baked potato was good but it was skimpy on the toppings. Service was just alright. I would try to find a local place next time, I didn’t realize it was a chain until the next day.

We are going to each state and eat at Saltgrass! Been to 3 so far but San Antonio water walk has been the best. The food, drinks, view, atmosphere all top notch!

Very good potatoe soup 🍲 Good rib eye with bone Baked potato was great Perfect cooking rare Good friendly service Fair price Nothing to complain Will be back tomorrow

This restaurant is located right on the Riverwalk, and they have a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. They have plenty of space for indoor seating and a great location for outdoor seating. The prices are a bit high, but that's the price you pay for quality meals and quality service. We had a young man named Jullian as our server, and he did a great job getting our orders back to the kitchen accurately, describing the menu items, offering recommendations, and checking in frequently. If we're back in town at some point in the future, this will be one of the restaurants we come back to.

Four of us came for late lunch/early dinner. Had to wait for a table so we sat at the bar and had drinks and an app (fried pickles) which were very good. Dinner was so-so. The country fried steak was huge, but it was too much breading and a little gummy in center. The mashed potatoes it came with were room temp and stiff. The other three people I was with said their meals were good (2 steaks and one salmon), but nothing great. All in all, not impressed with this restaurant.

This restaurant provides a decent steak, properly cooked at a decent price. It's not amazing, but it's good. Restaurant has been on the rather LOUD side both times we have been, so I would not say it's good for intimate dining or if you want to be able to have a conversation....

A great spot right on the riverwalk made it easy for the kids to sit because the service took SO LONG! At least they had people watching and we could wave to the boats. Our server was excellent, friendly, kept apologizing for the long wait times. I asked about management never saw or spoke to anyone. We were told there was two tables with 15 plus, so I think some better planning is needed. Overall the food was good, we were all happy with our choices. My broccoli came out ice cold. Didn't really get to savor or enjoy our martinis as they came way after the fact. So, I would recommend IF you are patient and don't have too high of expectations.

The food was the best food. Jullian was the best waiter . He was all about customer service . He was so nice and made sure we were happy and satisfied. The world needs more customer service waiters like Jillian.

Excellent ribeye & cowboy urban topper is phenomenal. My husband liked country fried steak as well! Great atmosphere!

A bit pricey but good food all around. I really enjoyed the salmon. People who were with me said they enjoyed the ribs and the chicken.

Excellent service and quality of food, perhaps a little expensive, excellent quality meat and at the ideal point, accompaniments have to be ordered separately, since the dish only has the meat

Great food and pleasant atmosphere. Prices are a little steep but the food is well worth it. The wait wasnt to long to get in either

Always love visiting Saltgrass! We've never eaten at any locations in Texas so it was a must! As always, the food was exceptional and the steaks cooked perfectly as ordered. The service was great and attentive, even though it was packed and every table was full. We waited about 30 minutes for a table at 7pm on a Monday, not bad for the River Walk!

Best Steaks! Service was a Disappointment! Excellent atmosphere and clean setting along the Riverwalk. We chose outdoor dining with a great view along the Crescent St bridge. Server was very polite and made many trips to our table until we ordered… From that point on, our waitress seemed preoccupied and became nonexistent. The kitchen brought out our steaks, that appeared to have been setting for a while as the green beans were cold. No waitress to see if food was prepared okay. Wife’s steak perfect, my steak was rare instead of medium rare. Had to walk my steak back myself and ask for salad that my wife had ordered. By this time we needed refill of our ice water. Waitress reappeared to deliver my re-cooked steak which was delicious. We ask for water refills and waitress acknowledged but never brought. She eventually returned and ask if there was anything we needed. I Again said WATER. She acknowledged again but this time she did bring water. We ask for our check and gave her our credit card and after an extended wait we went inside to find her. I might add that we never saw a manager our entire time we were there.

First, I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. I looked up directions on Maps and couldn't figure out if the entrance was on the River Walk or on the upper street address. We walked to the street entrance and entered, looking confused because it seemed empty. There were some staff sitting at a table talking amongst themselves. No one offered to tell us to go downstairs, or seemed interested about our confusion. That initially left me with a bad impression. Once we figured out that we needed to go downstairs, we found the entrance and since we had a reservation, got seated immediately. However, it was a while and we saw waiters go to other tables, but not our own though we were seated first. One of our group mentioned that to the hostess and we were sent someone to take our order. She apparently, though kind and friendly, was not our waiter, but was nice enough to take our orders. Our food and drink arrived promptly and there was no problem after that. Everything tasted delicious, from the drinks, to the salads, and the steaks. The meat was nicely seasoned and not too salty or peppery. Aside from the rocky start, we ended up with a lovely meal and would definitely recommend this place to others.

We decided to go out tonight. We went to the location loop 410. We had our drinks as usual, the Perfect Patron, dirty martinis, glass of wine. Our steaks were perfect! We also had the fried mushrooms. Our waiter TREVOR, did a phenomenal job! He was on top of his game to make sure everything was correct & the drinks coming. I was so involved with date night with my hubs, that I didn’t take any pictures. The manager stopped by the table as well. Great job tonight!!!

Excellent steak and service. They originally messed up our order but the manager immediately came out and apologized. We did not even complain but they were super apologetic. Great customer service and overall experience

Walked to this Riverwalk location and had the standard Chicken Fried Steak and was really disappointed because it was way over done and tough. Even the Bread was old and dry. Someone at corporate need to look into what is going at this location. A real disappointing trip for a out of town vacation. Usually better in the Houston area.

We went here for our last meal in San Antonio, Our server Jonathan was great he took real good care of us. We the sirloin steaks, they were great.

Waited 40 minutes for a table but it was worth it. We didn't order appetizers, just a steak and a side. We both ordered the 8 oz sirloin. Both cooked to our request with just a hint of pink inside. Mashed potatoes were very tasty. I've noticed here in Texas , that they are a different color than in NY, perhaps it's because they leave the skins on? Not sure but they are delicious. My wife had the mac and cheese and said it was delicious as well. Service . once seated. was quick and thorough. Our server. Victor. was on point all night. We'd eat here again if we were passing this way. Great meal with an unrushed atmosphere.

Be careful about when you go . . . weekends with San Antonio activities had waits as long a 2 hours. Reservations were hard to come by. The food was good. The salmon was cooked to perfection. We're in the heart of BEEF country and I've been disappointed with the flavor and tenderness of the steaks I've had so far. My husband enjoyed his steak and he said it was tender. We've been to the Riverwalk before in January and mid-week. It's a much better time to go. But there was no live music then.

One of the best steaks I ever had very enjoyable. Staff is very kind and friendly right on the Riverwalk beautiful scenery. Just a great steak all the way around very very delicious. Fix the way I ask you to be love the place would recommend anybody to come back and eat here. Great food.

Good restaurant, good food. Attention also OK. One detail that caught my attention is that the portions are not exactly the same: the same item on the same table came with very, but very different portions. At the time of delivering the dishes, the attendant dropped a good part of the fried potatoes and did not return to replace... The price is fair... worth it.

The 8 oz. steak seemed small, was tasty but nothing special. I ordered medium well but it was completely gray and dry. The grilled shrimp was very good, but small and only 4 of them. The baked potato was also small but ok. The salad was fresh. Not a fan of the dark wheat bread. Total price of my plate $24.99.

We were visiting San Antonio from out of town and chose Saltgrass Steak House for a nice dinner out. When we travel, we try very hard to eat local and avoid chain restaurants--we had no idea Saltgrass was a chain steakhouse, as we'd never seen one before. In any case, it was a great, if typical, steak dinner (salad, steak, baked potato). We were able to sit outside on the deck overlooking the famous Riverwalk and enjoy the view while we ate. Our server was very pleasant, if a little slow--we waited a while for our check. My only disappointment is that my credit card wasn't returned with the receipts to sign for the meal and we were in such a hurry that I didn't even notice...until the next morning when I went to use it. I totally understand that it's just as much my fault for losing my credit card, but I was very disappointed in the lack of responsiveness or helpfulness by management the next day when I called. They basically said I was out of luck and I should just cancel it, which I did. Quite a hassle when traveling, though.

Just to clarify the next comment, I like Texas Roadhouse. It's not a high end steakhouse, but the food is well seasoned and well priced. That said, I felt like this was Texas Roadhouse with a better view and higher prices. I had expected a more high end steakhouse, so I was disappointed in the food. The service at Texas Roadhouse is actually much better than it was here. On the good side, the prices were more reasonable than I expected and the view of the Riverwalk and the river are very nice. I would not return, there are too many really good options on the Riverwalk to try next time.

Woow this place is really wonderful. As you could see the pictures, the taste and preparation is better even. I would come again, hoping this year. Recommended

This was actually really good-- my wife is tough on steak, but it was perfectly rare as she ordered it. The ribs were meaty and tasty although a small side of sauce would have been welcome. My mother-in0-law enjoyed her Chicken Orlean (but wished she got the ribs), and the salads were all fresh and professional. A handful of adult drinks, a really good mushroom appetizer and four mains was only $174, a bargain for the quality of the food. Service was great as well. Seriously our new go-to place in Santone.

We went for dinner and had grilled shrimp and vegetables, which were very good--vegetables were fresh. Good side salads, too. But we had to wait forever to get served, although the server was working himself to a crisp. The place was clearly understaffed. We had to ask three times for water. I asked for a special-barrel Manhattan, which was on the menu. He came back and said that they didn't have the special barrel. So I said, fine--just a Manhattan. He came back again--no sweet vermouth. He said he could make me an old fashioned. I said, fine. The bartender came back and said, "Here you are--best old fashioned on the Riverwalk." If that was true, I'm glad I didn't sample the old fashioneds anywhere else.

This was by far the BEST steak I have ever had. We had a party of 6 and everyone was so pleased with their cuts. Complete perfection. We were off the Riverwalk and this was my first time in Texas. I only wish there was a SaltGrass near me (Florida panhandle/ Enerald Coast). I would go back a million times over. Our server was also very kind and helpful and the manager came out and greeted us a well. We were very please with the food, service and atmosphere.

Great salad, awful steak. Overcooked, dry, cheap. Made me angry since you have to search pretty hard fir a bad steak in Texas. This is a ghetto steak chain. Gunky mashed taters. What Was I thinking! Went to Count Line and had Barbcue beef sandwiches. Saved. Don’t try to save money on an inferior steak!

We went to the Cinema Ridge location off of Hwy 410 for hubby's bday. The drinks were ok. The steaks were thick, very tasty and cooked to order. Loved the rattlesnake bites. Our server was cheerful and attentive. We enjoyed the atmosphere and our dinner. It was a bit pricey tho! 1 filet minon, 1 tbone, 1 sirloin , rattlesnake bites, 3 beers, 2 shots tequila $250.00

A little wait but delicious food and drinks. This was one of several restaurants that had a menu available outside along the River walk, so we were mostly prepared to order when we were sat inside. Our server, Michael, was helpful and patient with us - especially when all the employees seemed to be juggling a lot. Salads and drinks were quick and good. I greatly enjoyed the white cosmopolitan with sugar rim. Ribeye and filet with shrimp were cooked very well. Look forward to visiting on our next trip to San Antonio.

Vacation weekend on the Riverwalk we wanted Chicken Fried Steak and Saltgrass didn't disappoint. Large dining room ups6 and small bar area downstairs. We sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails while waiting for dinner. This CFS was smothered in gravy and was just what we expected.

They have disabled their reservation system. We had to wait over an hour to be seated. The server and staff were very nice and the location right on the river is wonderful. However, for a restaurant known for steak, it turned out to be a big disappointment. They had to recook one of our steaks because it came out overcooked. It was ordered medium rare and came out more like medium well and tough. They kindly brought another one out but failed to season it as originally requested so there was really bland tasting. They did take the cost off and offered complimentary dessert to make up for it though. On the positive side, the grilled pineapple margarita is excellent! The fried pickles and peppers appetizer and the cheeseburger were both very good too.

Good steaks. A little pricey but I realize beef prices are up. did not make reservations & had about an hour wait.

We had dinner at this delicious place along the Riverwalk. The service was perfect, we were immediately given an excellent table and the waiter was precise, fast and thorough, he also gave us the best advice on the beer to pair with the dishes. We enjoyed some great Tex-Mex food with good value. The proportions were decidedly generous (Texan style). Super recommended!

Long wait but rather expected and understood on the weekend. No real places to wait though unless you want to stand on the riverwalk. My Rib-eye steak was rather good but had a lot of fat in it. [more than normally expected]. My wife's had more than mine. My sister-in-law ordered ribs but they were dry and the rub under the sauce was rather undesirable. Overall average at best.

Great Steak, Fantastic Service. Next time I come in I will absolutely be coming in to this Steakhouse! Best restaurant I've visited here so far!

We did not eat lunch so we decided on an early dinner. The menus posted on Riverwalk included happy hour 3-6 and early dining prices prior to 6.Either our waiter was untrained or was a swindler. We ordered happy hour drinks and our waiter said he had no knowledge of those and had to ask. Eventually a manager came and told us they were out of happy hour merlot & sangria. But they did have full price sangria which my wife ordered and found mediocre. When we ordered the waiter at first said early dining prices were only until 5. Then I showed him the menu and he claimed they did not apply to Sawgrass Riverwalk even though they were posted on the menu under lights on Riverwalk. I told him if we did not get those prices, I would like to see the manager. When the check arrived, it was for the standard prices but with a discount, like the were doing us a favor. After completing dinner, the so called server asked if everything was okay. I replied it is customary to ask that question prior to the diner finishing their meal. I ordered the bacon wrapped filet medium. It was still moving as you can see on the photo.

Very expensive steak house right on the River walk. Food was good, not sure it was worth the price. Party of four. Had range rattlers and queso fresco appetizers. Two of us ordered burgers, the other two ate the filet with shrimp. $200. No alcohol, no dessert. The burgers were huge and the filets were tiny. The food was very good. But the tiny filets that were ordered medium were overcooked, no pink to be seen. Service was good. We waited forever to get a table outside. They were only seating on their first floor. The entire second floor, including its outdoor seating, was unused. My guess is this was due to staffing issues. Still the evening was enjoyable. I could have made a meal of the rattlers and been fine. The rattlers are fabulous. Jalapenos stuffed with shrimp and cheese and sauce and deep fried, no snake.

Great ambiance, good food and service. We had a ribeye, and a sirloin plate with coconut shrimp, both were cooked medium rare, as requested, and oh so tasty and tender. Shrimp....yummy. The Kentucky lemonade was fantastic. Highly recommend.

My dining experience was very pleasant. I was greeted by Ms. K. Her personality was positively infectious! Once seated, Jullian made sure I was advised of the specials and brought me everything I needed to ensure I had a great experience. The food was good.

We really like Salt grass. We have eaten in other locations but this was our first time eating at the River walk location. It is not cheap but we consider the price is fair based on the food quality. What I like about this location is the patio which is elevated from the river walk. You can enjoy the view without feeling that people is walking by your side like in other places at the river walk.

Walked in about 4:00 no waiting. Food was excellant. Waiter was even better. Made suggestions to make our meal better. Atmosphere was pure Texas. Early fare prices until 6:00.

We had a bit of a wait so we chose to wait at the bar. Great service. We were seated outside along the River Walk and had the filet steak and I chose carrot cake for dessert. With the filet, I chose potato soup, which was excellent. Our server, Marcus, took great care of us. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Very busy place, but was able to get our group on a waiting list and go discover the river walk until they got a hold of us. I had the Salmon Caesar salad, it was incredible, service was very accommodating for our group of 16.

We visited Saltgrass Steakhouse on the Riverwalk and we enjoyed the atmosphere, our waitress and our food. There is indoor and outdoor seating along the River. The portions were quite filling! Our waitress, Avery, was awesome. She gave recommendations, stopped by to see if we needed anything multiple times, and even got us help navigating to our next destination along the Riverwalk.

I went there, advised by a friend, for the spare ribs. Indeed great! So the next day I went back, very nice again (chicken). I like their formula with a plate that goes with a salad or a soup + a side dish. Good beer from the tap, quite decent wines as well. I sat twice at the bar and the interaction with the personnel was very enjoyable - no "attraction park" experience, great!

Such a nice evening spent on the Riverwalk at topping it off with a great steak. Had the sirloin and it did not disappoint. Along with their delightful queso to start the meal off right. Pretty good service on a busy, busy Friday night. Wait time they gave us was almost to the minute. Call in advance and enjoy a good dinner.

Went here with family to celebrate my wife and I's anniversary. Food was awesome!! Everything from the appetizers to the dessert. I had the bacon Wrapped Fillet and Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious!! My wife had the Gulf Coast Steak and Shrimp. Others had Salmon, Shrimp and one had the Urban Cowboy. Everyone raved about the food!! The strawberry cheesecake dessert was also very good. (We have never seen a cheesecake that thick!!) (We have passed by the Saltgrass Steakhouse in Kissimmee Florida numerous times and always wanted to try it. We now hope we can go there and not be disappointed!!)

In town for BMT graduation and my BMT graduate wanted to eat a good steak. Heard about Saltgrass in an online group. Out of 6 steaks, only 1 was cooked in the way they were requested. All of the rest were under-cooked. I ordered a medium bacon-wrapped filet and got medium rare. Another person ordered well done and got medium well, and so forth. Getting 1 or 2 steaks wrong happens, but 5 out of 6 is terrible service. The person who ordered well done did tell the waitress. They didn't bring back a new steak, so there's always the possibility they just threw it in the microwave. That same person asked for no butter on their baked potato, but got butter. It had yet to melt completely, so they just removed it themselves. Another member of my party had a long hair on their baked potato. The waitress apologized, but the manager who brought a new potato didn't say a word. My filet was quite small. I can tolerate a medium rare steak, so I went ahead and ate it. It was good, but not great by any means. Not once did the waitress come back to refill drinks. I didn't even see her to ask...until she brought the checks. It's ridiculous this place charges an automatic 25% gratuity, especially given the problems we had. I despise the practice of auto-gratuities because, as was the case here, we rewarded a meal full of problems and pretty bad service. I certainly expected more out of this place, but they did not deliver. It appears other people's experiences have been different, but I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Our food was good, as always at Saltgrass. Had the Gulf Coast Steak and Shrimp and food was flavorful and cooked correctly. When we walked up at 6 on a Thursday night, they told us the wait was an hour to an hour and a half. We waited anyway and just sat outside and watched people on the riverwalk. We got seated after 45 minutes. Long wait, but we got in quicker than they said.

I understand that this is a chain restaurant, but the fillet steak was just as good as smart restaurants charging 3 times the price. And it is on the River Walk and easy to walk to. You don't need to pay for an appetiser because your main course comes with lovely bread and an excellent bowl of soup beforehand. The steak comes with mushrooms and onions, and if asked they will give you a simple and good baked potato with some butter on the side - what is it with putting sour cream and other fat stuff on a baked potato? It was friendly and not too crowded, we enjoyed our dinner here very much.

Early Valentines dinner. The waitress was ok. The food was good as well as my drink, the Especial Margarita. On the other hand my hubby was lacking. It was short changed. We did take a dessert home and used our Landrys card. I would definitely recommend.

The steaks were good however the rest of the food was average. Nothing special. Our server was new so he was unsure about some of the food on the menu. Nice view of the water . The couple we were we wanted to go there, but I would try somewhere else before returning.

An excellent choice for either lunch or dinner. Fast super friendly service (Thank you Jason) and great food. Try the Vaquero Tacos.

After three days in San Antonio, and visiting several restaurants, we dined at Saltgrass on our last night. The food was amazing! It was the service that made our last meal our best. Our server, Mira, was the friendliest server we encountered during our whole stay. She was attentive, informative and very thoughtful. Mira saw to our every need, and expedited every request with perfection. I wish all servers were as wonderful as her! Thank you Mira, and Saltgrass Steak House for not only delivering our best experience, but giving us a beautiful memory! We will definitely be returning when we visit next!

Oh so average. Average food, average service. Actually poor service. Didn't have a booking but noticed that there were several empty tables so thought we would eat here. We were told that there would be a 15 minute wait but we could have a drink at the bar while we waited. And we waited, and waited, and waited. Of course we knew this was just a ploy to have us spend money on drinks. After about thirty five minutes we began to walk out, but guess what, they conveniently had a table for us. By this stage the restaurant was half empty anyway. Food was not worth the wait.

This place was great! good variety, and all was good. We came back couple times to try something new.

The steak and shrimp were OK. I ordered medium but the middle quarter inch of the meat was quite rare. The shrimp were of fair size, nothing to write home about. My wife had a chicken dish but the meat was dry.

Our service was excellent The food was very good for the price Have been there on previous trips and will return again when in town

Mediocre at best. Not really worth the long wait. Went for an early dinner but still waited an hour for a table. That was short compared to the wait for our meal and my steak was barely warm when it arrived. The steak was a good cut of meat but was not cooked the way I ordered it. I was expecting an upscale steak house but it’s really just your typical chain restaurant.

Our group of 9 decided to patronize this steakhouse on our last day of our reunion. You need a reservation. My BIG steak did not disappoint. Happy travels!

Nice location on the Riverwalk. Food was very good. Portions were huge. Baby back ribs very good. Would recommend to others looking for a little nicer dinner without breaking the bank.

We stopped for a bite after visiting the Alamo, and we were definitely not ready for the amount of food we got! We ordered an appetizer and a main each. The food was definitely good, the ambient nice and the portions very generous

We visited Saltgrass when in San Antonio for a weekend getaway as it was conveniently located near our hotel. To be honest, I wish we hadn't bothered. We were seated inside, as there were apparently no tables outside. The booth was pretty tight, and was right beneath a loudspeaker. It wasn't impossible to hear each other speak but it certainly made it slightly more difficult. We waited almost 20 minutes for our server to make an appearance. It had got to the point that we were about to walk about. He'd been around to other tables in his zone but for whatever reason hadn't seen us. We placed drinks orders (four) but only got three. We ordered food, but the appetizer didn't show up at all. When our entrees arrived we asked about the appetizer. Our server went and got it from the kitchen but it was lukewarm (which didn't surprise us at all) so we sent it back and it was taken off the bill. Entrees were ok but nothing spectacular. Average pub / diner quality at best. We paid, and left. We'd had lunch but were really disappointed in the experience.

Some of the best ranch I have EVER had!! The ranch dressing alone was worth the visit. There was an issue with our appetizer being delivered to the wrong table and the manager went above and beyond to apologize for it.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch as he had read they had the best burger on the Riverwalk. We ordered the cheese fries, which came out as potato chunks, not fries. He ordered the cheeseburger and I ordered the chicken fried chicken. He had not as good of luck with his meal as I did with mine. His cheese was cold and not melted on the burger and said it was pretty mediocre. He did say he liked the actual French fries though. My chicken fried chicken, however, was delicious. You could tell it was freshly fried and had a nice crunch. The cream gravy was delicious and I enjoyed the mashed potatoes. I ordered their amber ale on tap, which I found to be quite tasty. The service was great, but we were there right at opening and probably his first table of the day. As with all the restaurants on the riverwalk, don’t have too high of expectations and I think your experience will be better than you originally think.

I went into the restaurant at 515 in the afternoon and thought I could get a good meal quick I left 2 hours later totally disappointed with the service and the manager . It took 50 minutes to get an order of mushrooms in empty restaurant and the manager had nothing but excuses as I Saul later in a few reviews it’s clear this is consistent I’d recommend management changes a start. Find another place to eat I consider yourself lucky

We thought we had made reservations through the phone, but that did not work. The staff though was very accommodating and seated us on the heated deck overlooking the Riverwalk which was our preferred seating. We had an excellent waiter and the steaks were melt in your mouth good. We enjoyed it so much we went back a few days later to another Saltgrass in San Antonio.

Three in our party. I have food allergies and they accommodated me extremely well preparing everything as I needed - had no issues after the meal. We all had the center cut steak, our daughter got the steak Oscar and enjoyed it. My steak was very good, my wife said it was one of the best she has had in a while. Loaded baked potato was great. We got the coated mushrooms, they were very good, slight kick to them from but not overwhelming. Service was great, place was full under current conditions to servers were busy but ours kept an eye on things for us. Overall great meal and experience.

Location very good inside nice deco, good portion was good the steak was excellent Menu make you want to come more than once Good selection of drinks The terrace over view the canal Service ok Price in line with the menu

Bethany our server was very friendly, professional, and informative. Made for a great experience in cripple Creek, co. Our food was excellent, as well as our service.

You can eat here on a cozy terrace next to the river walk. The service is very helpful and friendly. If you have a food allergy they go to great lengths to prepare a safe meal.

The Saltgrass steak house was fabulous. The restaurant is right on the river and there’s a great scenery, trees and birds and a bridge and so much more. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My steak was marvelous. My was friendly and observant. The wait for the food was short. The atmosphere was just what you’d expect if you were in Italy. View of the river and boats tours and great historic building surrounding with trees and birds singing. I will most definitely go back.

I will never order take-out again. It took a long long time and when we got home, missing a side caesar salad and short a corn dog.

Started off good, drinks, app, orders then waited 30 min. For stake (per mangerhad to recook). Then potato cold as ice. Steak was look warm. Not good at all

We went to Saltgrass on the Riverwalk for lunch. I had chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. The chicken was very moist and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were delicious. My wife had the country fried steak and green beans. She said the steak was very tender and the green beans were fresh and crispy. Our server, Audrey was very attentive to us. She also had a very personable style.

Our meal and staff were great. One of the best meals on the Riverwalk. We sat outside, nice patio area. Drinks and food spot on!
Our waiter Jullian made our experience great.
Food was great our waiter Jullian was an amazing waiter which made our experience My steak was awesome and my wife’s chicken fried steak was from her report great as well.
