Oysters for the win!

By BriansArtforAnimals |

Nice spot if you want to splurge a little and get some decent seafood. The raw oysters (even for 3 tier- the cheapest at $4.25 each) were EXCELLENT.

Excellent service and great food!

By Matthew P |

Everyone was friendly and the food was good, actually super good. Highly recommend the sourdough bread for toast. We will be back!

Best Layover Spot

By Joy K |

Great spot to unwind during my layover at the airport. Clam Chowder is the best I've ever had, and the red blend from Columbia Valley was smooth and delicious.

Friendly staff and prompt service.

By Dennis R |

Had the Triple B Burger. Nothing fancy. Much like a classic burger. Flavor of the burger and fries were good. I’d do it again.

Yummy shrimp!

By Avmig |

We had a long layover at SeaTac and wanted a good sit down dinner place. The food was great and the staff immediately wanted to know when I flight was leaving to assure we had enough time. Our meals were great to include fresh shrimp that was delicious. If you have a chance try this place .

Excellent Seafood Chowder!

By Debora C |

I discovered Salty's at the Sea while waiting for a connecting flight in the Seattle SeaTac Airport. I love good seafood and consider myself a bit of a chowder connoisseur. I had heard about Salty's from friends, so decided to stop in and try their "Salty's World-Famous Seafood Chowder". It was delicious! It is thick and loaded with pieces of clams, scallops, bacon, tiny bay shrimp, and chunks of potato. The chowder is served with oyster crackers, but I chose to compliment it with a small side-order of their herb-coated Grilled Sourdough bread. Another tasty choice. For dessert, I had a a slice of "Salty's Famous White Chocolate Mousse Cake", which is served drizzled in raspberry sauce. Fantastic! I must say Salty's exceeded my expectations. The quality of food, presentation, and service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and will eat there again next time I pass thru the SeaTac Airport.

Great service good food.

Great service and good food. Nicole was brilliant in getting us in and out quickly for our flight. Really friendly - would recommend

Great Flight Bites ✈️

By FlightAvenger |

Great seafood bites departing or landing at SeaTac. Good but tight seats. Nicer if you choose to sit along the bay window and watch the planes take-off and land. Swift and congenial service, especially Nicole. They entire team is extremely mindful and works together to get you on-time for your flight. The Zesty Bloody Martinis are PHENOMENAL!!!!! You can add seafood accoutrements but just as good with the standard pickled String Beans and Olives. We got extra it was all so delish! We had the Blackened Sockeye Salmon Caesar. Added Farro and Kale to further bulk up the salad with the dressing on the side. Very good. Also had the Blackened Chicken Sandwich with their coated, seasoned fries. Tasty! Overall, amazing Flight Bite. ✈️

Disappointed

By chs8084 |

Service was good but menu too limited. Yogurt parfait was cloying with way too much granola and not enough fruit and yogurt.

Great Cocktails & Service

By Melissa S |

Great! Good service, great cocktails. Very convenient location. They have great food too!. Located right in the center of the airport, which is a very convenient location. I’ve been to the regular restaurant multiple times and this is just great. They have great espresso martinis for those of us that are fans.

Fine Dining at SEA-TAC for the Travel Weary!

By Sheri T |

This is THE place at SEA-TAC! We enjoyed the BEST lunch of fresh halibut. Can’t rave enough about it! The service was fabulous and Chef Alex visited our table to check in. Wonderful unexpected treat!

Saltys still knows what they’re doing!

By Jenifer |

Not a fan of blackened fish-went with the classic coconut prawn cocktail. Service was excellent friendly & she Wanted to be there-refreshing! The appetizer-hot-with the right amount of crunch/sweet/spice.

Wonderful food - so glad you’re now at the airport. Our server Kimber was fabulous! Will definitely recommend you.

By Katie |

Great experience - wonderful food and staff! Kimber was an excellent, cheery server. So glad Salty’s is at the airport!

Poor new SEATAC restaurant & menu

By AbsolutelyDubrovnik |

Stopped by for breakfast. The limited Breakfast menu was too fishy in our opinions as there were very few ‘real breakfast’ choices. We’d visited the restaurant that was here before the rebuild, and the new one is incredibly cramped - small tables packed together. Thankfully it was quiet so early in the morning.

Leslie Rocks

By Deborah W |

Leslie is the best waitress I have experienced in years. The food was good with generous portions, yet the strawberry jam was like eating strawberries in the field.

Chowder for Breakfast!

By Debbie B |

Absolutely awesome seafood chowder… even for breakfast!!! So pleased it was available for us. At airport but didn’t feel rushed at all!

Kimber and cocktails at Salty’s!

By Martha K |

We had a stellar visit, cocktails, and breakfast were outstanding, Kimber is a wonderful server, look at her wielding, that mega pepper grinder!

Amazing service and tasty food!

By Sara C |

Kimber was an amazing server! Made me a specialty drink and took great care of me! Love her personality! Great experience and I highly recommend. Pineapple jalapeño margarita and chopped salad with salmon substitute were both delicious!

Texan treated right

By Chris H |

Amazing staff!! From the manager and server ensuring I got my delicious chowder and ice tea!! Incredible service bright, efficient and full of smiles! 375 Cheryl was fantastic!! Thank you for a great experience!! Texas

Food EH! , Prices Exorbitant

By jaybeeFL |

Ordered a bowl of clam chowder ($16) waitress asked if I wanted a piece of toast to dip never mentioning that it was another $5.50!!! Chopped salad with a small pile of tiny, tasteless bay shrimp @$29 and a small 6 oz glass of run of the mill Pinot Grigio @ $18. Total bill for soup and salad $90!!! No wonder folks out here in Seattle can't make a living wage at these prices.

Skip Saltys

By peggy charles |

$28.00 for a chicken sandwich drenched in garlic with cold frys. Server was nice however it doesn't make up for inediable food and expensive drinks. A coors light was $12.00 and a 5 iz glass of Chardonnay was $23.00. the food from the surrounding venders is a better option.

Fish and chips

By Air N |

The hostess said the fish and chips was "pretty good." Asked again, she assured me it was. Upon arrival, however, the fish while moist was tough and flavorless. And the french fries were coated in a dry seasoning that made it impossible to taste any potato. I liked the ketchup. The best part of the meal was the beer. And rhe server was amazing! Next time, I definitely will try something different.

Great food great people

By Benjamin |

This place has the best food! We had a burger and the salmon. Both exceeded our expectations. Nicole was so nice as our server.

Traveler's Choice

By Mari |

Treat yourself and enjoy a tasty meal from Salty's seasonal menu. Staff recommendations is also highly encouraged when it comes down to making a tie breaker decision. The restaurant layout is graciously spacious for patrons to enjoy the view of planes soaring through the sky. The bar seating area is a great spot whether engaged in your laptop, phone, or being entertained by watching sports on wide-screen television while listening to music. The best part about the bar area is the exceptional customer service and attentiveness by their staff (Kimbers, Kat, Jen, Robert, William)!!!

Crabby…

By DrLovr |

Huge restaurant. Goes on forever around the curve of the airport central plaza. High ceilings to absorb the noisey machinations of the staff bustle. Staff goes out of their way to make the experience pleasant . Food is overpriced as it is at any airport lounge/restaurant. Ordered crab/sourdough toast. Topped with 2 green unappealing tomato slices . The sous chef barely skimmed the top of the bread with crab. Did not get the flavor of the crab . Manager happened to stroll by and asked how it was and he thanked me for this feedback. Hopefully when you order it they place a bit more crab on top.

Missing Ella

By Happyintalent |

Kimber delivered really great service, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was god as well (music a little loud). We would go again next time in this airport.

Yum!

By Amber B |

Yum! Friendly and great service. Fast food despite being crowded. Recommend the blueberry scones and the breakfast skillet.

Great

By Risa k |

very pleasant, nice and cozy and energetic place, the staff there are very friendly yet so polite, enjoyed the atmosphere and watched the aircrafts!

Must Try at Least Once

By clslape |

Service was terrific! Our waitress was on top of everything. My husband read how good the chowder was, and wanted to try it. He was impressed, and enjoyed the steamed clams. I had the blackened chicken sandwhich. Was good, very tender and juicy chicken, but, bun got too soggy to hold. Must have been from the pineapple salsa, which was really good. Fine dining prices, but, it IS the airport and it IS the Seattle area...but, you always have to try everything at least once! 🤷🏻‍♀️😁 Side note...I was so happy to see they provided plastic straws! 😂

Fresh a fresh experience of the local culture unexpected at an airport

By Paul B |

Better than any seafood dining experience at an airport I've had Rusty's here at Seattle airport delivers fresh ingredients, seasoned with style and leaving your taste buds dancing with delight. If Stressful experience at an airport, this will help revive you.

Full service experience

By saberus |

If you’re looking for full service, full quality restaurant dining at SEA/TAC, this is the place. Servers were amazing, food was good, except for the coconut shrimp, which were dry and chewy. They offered 3 different tiers of raw oysters. While they were all good, I honestly couldn’t really tell the difference between them, so save your money and don’t bother with tier 2 or 3.

Delicious food

By Osman O |

Its good breakfast, I had french toast with hot tea. It was first time, I had and I loved . I recommended any who hadn't try before.

Great!!

By Gerardo M |

This spot was great. Quick service, good food while waiting for the next connection. I spend and extra time with my son during our meal. The atmosphere was pleasant, football entertaining on TV, music on the background... all quite enjoyable!

Traveler

By Lisa A |

Nice beautiful views, fast service order time & food delivery time, fresh food.Best Fish & Chips tartar sauce is amazing.

Skip the scramble.

By Sarah O |

Service was with a smile and Bloody Mary spicy as promised. However the Skagit scramble (minus whipped cream cheese) was over-cooked eggs, asparagus cut up way too small and only saving grace was the mushroom. I ate it because hungry and protein.

Deliciously Friendly

By Tara-lee S |

Josh was a superbly professional and friendly host, and the chowder was sooooo delicious.... Would absolutely do this again 🙏🏽💓

Great seafood and sit-down experience at SEA-TAC airport

By NewPlaceFan |

If it weren't for "airport prices," we would give this 5 stars. The lobster ceviche was one of the best starter dishes of our trip and one of the best ceviches I've had. Good bloody Mary. The oysters were also surprisingly good. The fish and chips was a large portion with excellent fries. The breading on the fish was a little heavier than I like, but still good. Overall, a great choice for a sit-down dinner at SEA-TAC. We had to wait, but we had plenty of time. Our server was very helpful and cheerful.

Great place to eat at the airport

By Inspire825768 |

Great food! Felicia gave us excellent service and deserves a raise. She was efficient and personable!

Go Kimber!

By Candace M |

Kimber was fantastic! She never left us with an empty drink and a smile always which was nice after an early morning and a long layover at SeaTac. This women obviously loves her job!

Very different Cesar

By Phillip I |

Great Caesar salad. There are little bits of lemon peel in it. I never thought of this addition but to someone who enjoys gin, tonic and IPAs, it paired perfectly.

My ‘go to airport spot’

By Gary Z |

Great spot to watch airplane stuff with a great drink and some really good PNW seafood. Salmon BLTA and a bowl of chowder. And ask for some pepper. Lol

Promoted

By marutatsu |

Great food, very good fish&chips and also the clam chowder just a little slow so pay attention to the time for boarding!

Awesome expectations

By Justin V |

Kimberly was amazing! She will make your experience good. As a bar tender I know she will give the most best customer service. I honestly hope to see her again. I will travel more just to see her..

Sally’s at SeaTac!

By Jet32193170527 |

Scramble was delicious! Sat at the bar and Kimber provided excellent service and cocktails custom order. Perfect preflight experience. Thanks Sally’s!!

Great experience

By Strand Family |

Good service (thanks Dawn!), and food was definitely a step above for airport food. Salmon BLT was well seasoned and seafood chowder was great.

Excellent local raw oysters

By Gyro5490 |

Wow, great fresh raw oysters at the airport! I started with one of each. The cheapest at $4 each was very briny, just ok. The $5 ones were good. The $6 kumomodos were excellent. Mine just happen to be sumo (extra large for the type) and had great flavor. No lemon needed. Delicious. I also enjoyed the crab stuffed salmon, which my lovely server Camille said that was her favorite menu item. It was actually cooked rare for me upon my request. Note : their online menu is outdated!

KIMBER!

By cody m |

Kimber is absolutely wonderful! Very friendly, good suggestions and very easy to get along with. She made our very long layover better and even took a picture with us with the massive pepper shaker.

Good but expensive breakfast

By Jon |

Food was good, portions were a bit too large. Service was excellent. Typical of Salty’s, it was an expensive breakfast. This won’t be a regular airport stop but for this trip, it was okay.

Wonderful Humans and Food

By Maryann L |

Food was great but more than anything our waitress was fantastic! Competent and kind, excellent at her job. Thank you Felicia for making travel and dining a lovely experience during the holiday season.

Watch the energetic upselling, avoid greasy French fries

By tjmU4374LJ |

Best part of an early lunch was the side Caesar salad with bay shrimp. The salmon BLTA sounded attractive but was rather gushy, messy, and sort of lacking taste. Fries were a mistake: just do a straight substitute for salad or whatever— avoid fries here. (We liked the previous regional-chain seafood restaurant/— starts with A — that had been here far better.)

Delicious

By FAY E |

Delicious food (coconut prawns seemed fresh too), especially for an airport setting. Spacious. Short wait time. Friendly staff. Clean. Large portions.

One of the best options at SeaTac airport.

By mrbraae |

Always packed! Located inside of the SeaTac airport, this Salty's location maintains the quality of service and food that all of the outside locations keep. Nestled in the middle of the main terminal with a larger floor plan than most, they have a large bar surrounded by tables. You can wait to be seated or just belly up to the bar if you can find a chair. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Be prepared to shovel out a small fortune for your meal and drinks. Salty's is known in the Puget Sound area as a premium fine dining establishment and then add on that this one is in the airport and, you get the picture. Is it worth it? If you have the expendable $$ then I'd say yes! There are way too many places inside of this airport that are too overpriced and will disappoint you. At least at Salty's, you won't regret spending the extra. Thanks for reading and Cheers!

Salty’s at SEA-Amazing food and staff

By Cossette824 |

We had a longer layover in Seattle and decided to eat a Salty’s at SEA. The service was impecable! The food was amazing! The chef visited our table. He was very personable and cared about our dining experience. We had Louis Louis salads and seafood chowder. The chowder is the best we have had…and we have tried many different chowders on the Oregon Coast as well as Seattle and San Francisco. To top it off the chef brought us a large slice of coconut cake! Bonus. We will be back!

Delicious cioppino and cocktail

By Simbet |

We had a four-hour layover and chose Salty's based on online reviews and the fact that they had cioppino, which one of us loves and makes at home. Salty's cioppino was delicious: it was full of seafood and the broth was tasty. Also loved one of their new, not-too-sweet cocktails. Nice seating and very good service. A spendy lunch, but it was at an airport and there was a lot of seafood, so overall we'd recommend it and return!

Stupendous Staff and Salty Pricing

By Donna C |

The gals at the bar are splendidly friendly, efficient, intuitive, and most excellent making the perfect gin and tonic. Kember and Jennwyn (apologies for incorrect name spellings but close enough to praise and reward). I was annoyed with ownership pricing toast and jam at $8.50 - the jam was delicious. It's the people who work there that turned my irritation into gratitude that I had a beautiful setting and a fine cocktail/toast/jam.

Good vibes!

By Theresa R |

Kimber was an awesome bartender! The drinks were great and the food was delicious. Test vibes and big screen to watch the golf tournament!

Incredible Service

By Matthew D |

The only disappointment I have was I can’t find contact information for management for this restaurant to pass along my feedback. So I created a Trip Advisor account just for this. We had an absolutely incredible experience with Lisa at Saltys on March 6th for dinner. The food was great, best I’ve had at an airport, but the service was beyond amazing. She was so engaged with our kid and made it such a memorable experience. Would highly recommend to families and would come back regularly.

Thank you!

By Elena B |

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! The food is delicious, the service is great! Quyanaġniaġaatiin (Thank you very much!!!)

Bad Food & Service. Go Elsewhere.

By CmkAtl |

My husband and I had lunch at Salty’s on a layover. The food was bad. Very bad. I had the salmon BLT with bacon and avocado. The tomato was not ripe. The salmon was clearly cooked earlier in the day, like the bacon, and assembled after I ordered. As an initial matter, the salmon was overcooked and hard. The sandwich was cold and hard. You would need knife teeth to be able to bite into this sandwich and get an actual bite. The fries that accompanied the sandwich were merely warm. My husband ordered the Caesar salad with a bowl of chowder. The soup was bland and needed both salt and pepper to make it edible. The salad was wilted. Not good. The waitress was not attentive.

Not a good one for this restaurant.

By May C |

This is the first time I used this restaurant.my experience is that they over charged the items and the waitress was rude. I would never come to this restaurant again !

Great food, large portions, great kind service

By Stephanie W |

Dalin was so amazing. On point, diligent, very kind! Great food and large portions but her service really made the experience!

Wonderful food & service!

By sharrongeg |

We had two hours to kill before our flight and decided to have breakfast at Salty’s at the Sea restaurant at SeaTac airport. Reilly was our server - and he was terrific! I ordered the Skagit Valley Scramble ($26) while hubby ordered the French Toast ($23). Portions were good and the flavor outstanding! They have lots of good craft beers on tap.

Fantastic

By Kaley M |

Nicole was absolutely amazing!! Service was prompt and amazing! Nicole was friendly and super helpful. I really couldn't ask for more!

Good Chowder at SEA

By Deanosaur89 |

If you find yourself at SEATAC and are looking for a good sit down place, Salty's is a good option. We were seated quickly and were able to get our orders in for some seafood chowder. We felt the seafood chowder was very good but many of the items here are pricey due to the location. This restaurant is located in the Central terminal and is a short walk from A, B, C and D gates. The restaurant has a good view outside with floor to ceiling windows so you can watch the planes go by. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we got seated quickly. We felt this was a treat as we had a fairly long layover in Seattle. There are quite a few shops, takeout restaurants and places for drinks in the Central terminal that are worth checking out if you have some time in the airport here and they are nearby to this restaurant.

Great food

By Sam W |

Great service and great food - selection was good from seafood to sourdough French toast. Also, the coffee tasted great.

Phenomenal service, beer and food! Definitely will be back!

By WalkupA |

Kelly is an AMAZING server and so patient with our group of friends. BEST airport food... Period. Great service and draft beers! We are so happy here. Definitely will come back everytime we are at SEA-TAC

Lunch for two

Great service

By DrewGagne |

Went to Salty’s for breakfast while waiting for a flight. Our server was a fellow named Sean, who is the best server we’ve had in recent memory, perhaps of all time.

Salty at Sea-tac

By ane |

We had the clam chowder which was delicious. I love my soup hotter in temp… but it was still yummy! The chowder-Caesar combo is a nice meal… Service was consistent and very kind

Not worth the money

By mollydaisy |

Ordered appetizer coconut prawns, chowder soup with 2 pieces of sourdough toast, and one fish and chips order. Everything came out at once, most of it was cold, and the chowder soup was like wallpaper paste. My husband had an ice tea and I had water. The bill was $80 not including tip. I was very disappointed.

Fabulous food and service

By Heather J |

Outstanding Experience! The food is consistently excellent and the service is top-notch. Kimber is always a ray of sunshine—warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help her customers. Her positive energy makes every visit even better. Highly recommend this place! Cheers!

SeaTac & Salty’s

Breakfast was amazing and cooked to perfection! Chef Alex came out personally to make sure everything was great AND personally delivered our food! Nicole was the sweetest and was an amazing server!
