I enjoyed the tasty combinations here that are rarely found elsewhere. Many options marry ingredients you wouldn't consider compatible, but they work! Salad was fresh (had with brisket on mine) and the fideo soup with ever-changing combinations is always a warm welcoming side dish. I will be back to more items on the menu.

Okay, so I'm in San Antonio on business. I usually make 526 trips a year to this area. How is it I've never found this place? Thanks to Yelp and TripAdvisor I noticed they had high ratings and the photos look pretty delicious. I'm also a secret mac and cheese Aficionado so I had to check out something as delicious as mac and cheese with Crispy fritto topping. I started with the sangria flight which was delicious and then opted to have 2 tacos along with my Mac and Cheese. Taco number one was brisket with delicious toppings and the second one was pork belly. Absolute perfection. If you are anywhere near San Antonio Texas this is a must stop on the drive to flavortown.

Sangria on the Burg is a smallish restaurant on Fredericksburg Rd near the medical center. We arrived at 4 on a Tuesday afternoon, so it was not crowded. Happy Hour starts at 4, and a flight of four different sangrias or four different frozen ‘margaritas’ was only $4. For an appetizer, we chose a chili queso, Ceasar’s Queso. It was full of flavor, with guacamole and pico de gallo as ingredients. The chips were thick and crispy, much better than the average restaurant chips. Since it was “Taco Tuesday,” all tacos were discounted. We had skirt steak, pork belly, fried oyster, grilled fish and southern chicken tacos. Served on homemade soft tortillas, each had different complimentary condiments, adding flavor but not obscuring the main ingredient. The skirt steak taco was smoky-delicious while the fish taco had a hint of lime. The side salad had fresh strawberries and and a subtle vinaigrette dressing. The southern cream corn was sweetened with honey and the charro beans just “popped” with flavor. The servers were friendly and informative. And, we were lucky to have Javon take care of us. His helpful and friendly demeanor added to the ambiance. When we left shortly after 6, the place was filling up, so even on a weeknight it might be good to call ahead for reservations.

So we just ordered breakfast and we don’t really Drink so we didn’t order their sangria’s or mimosas which they are known for. So yeah, it was alright. Breakfast was good over all. My husband loved his avocado toast with berries. My chicken fried ribeye with chorizo was okay, probably needed a little more salt or flavor? But that’s just me, although my bro got the same thing and he thought it was bland as well. My husband on the other hand said it was great. So yeah I guess it depends on your palettes. I would go there again and try their taco trio.

Delicious spinach and mushroom omelette! My friend had the taco pancakes. I really liked the margarita flight! It’s a small cozy space. Make reservations! Also, FYI…there is a 1 1/2 limit at the table. The patio is nice, with umbrellas and fans. Waitress was on point! Worth a visit!

The food here is amazing! Went for lunch and the pork belly taco and the skirt steak taco were phenomenal. The best part of lunch was a grapefruit agua fresca that was to die for! Healthy portions, great atmosphere and good mix of prices from less expensive to moderate.

Saturday and Sunday Brunch menu until 3:00 with a great variety. Full menu after 3:00. I had brisket sliders and grilled veggies (sliders offered on buns or lettuce cup) I had lettuce cup. Friends had BBQ Ribs and other Brisket Spaghetti - - ALL GREAT. Many mixed drinks available and 5 different Sangria drinks. The Red Sangria was awesome.

One of my friends suggested this place for our monthly get together lunch. What a wonderful idea! !! The sangria was amazing with six different flavors to choose from our. ..a. "flight of four". The food was delicious they had a soup of the day, special of the day and many other items to delight you palate. Their desserts were tasty too. We all enjoyed our meals and definitely plan on retuning very soon.

I did the order online for take out due to COVID on the rise here in Texas I ordered the Southern Chicken Cobb Salad and the Whiskey Burger, jalapeño Cucumber Margarita, the Single Frozen Lime Margarita also. Everything was definitely delicious. The only bad thing was the jalapeño drink I think was over priced for 10 bucks it was such a small amount they gave me.I would stick to frozen margarita it was only 6 bucks and it was actually a lot more given. This won’t Stop me from ordering again, the dressing that comes with the salad was bomb!

Meh if the wait is too long just go somewhere else. The wait for us was close to an hour and the food was not worth the wait.

Had a delicious brunch! This was a great surprise. The exterior is no indication of what's going on on the inside. I had the Barbacoa Eggs Benedict which were amazing. My husband and son-in- law had the Sangria Breakfast, which included a chicken fried steak with chorizo gravy, bacon, scrambled eggs, potato hash and pancakes. My daughter had the slider flight and loved it! Perfectly prepared everything. I highly recommend.

I went here on a Thursday night and it was packed but we didn't have to wait long to be seated! Toi start we did the flight of sangria and the flight of frozen margaritas which included 4 different flavors on each flight. Even though the name of the restaurant says Sangria in it, the Sangria was not my favorite but the margs are definitely worth it! So if you don't want the flight of tasters I would go for the margaritas! As far as food, you cannot go wrong! They have a great variety of menu items from burgers/sliders to tacos. We got the Texas BBQ sliders and the brisket tacos, all of which were amazing! Overall it is worth the stop and they also have really great happy hour and reverse happy hour deals if you hit it at the right time!!

I decided to try this restaurant with my girlfriend and another friend. The food was great. The atmosphere is very nice and relax. It is not a big place so it does fill up pretty quick. The menu has an assortment of sliders salads and street tacos that you can mix and match. I had the Texas BBQ and Phil. Sliders. both very good. The fries were nice and crispy with good seasoning. My Girlfriend had the Cobb Salad with Brisket. It was a great size and she ate every bite. My other friend had 2 street tacos with a side of Mac and Cheese which was delicious and grilled vegetables. The vegetables were grilled and season perfectly. The only complaint was that food took a long time to cook especially during lunch. I know it wasn't on the server.

Interesting menu - something for everyone. The food is excellent with many different slider items. It's as homegrown as much as it is possible. It's a very busy place, known for the Sangria too but didn't try that. Service was a tad slow but it was lunch time, obviously with workers on their lunch break and this isn't a "fast food" joint - thank goodness. Parking is somewhat limited but it's still worth the trip.

Went for the first time on taco tuesday and OMG, from the tortillas to the drinks everything was perfect!. We went around 6pm and had no wait, the place is very cozy and welcoming. Each tacos is $2 on Tuesdays, I had 4 and was enough for me but we still had some of the chocolate cheesecake which was great!. I will definitely go back for more tacos!

Hostess was able to accommodate us even though we were super early for our reservation. Waiter was great; friendly and didn’t rush us. We all had tacos - steak, brisket, avocado and fish. Steak ones were our favorite, but the salad that came with the tacos was delicious!

As of now, one of my favorite restaurants. Food, staff, and the restaurant itself was excellent. Great homemade corn tortillas. Highly recommend this place.

First time visiting. Enjoyed the place, kinda small and intimate. Nice out door balcony area. The food and drinks were pretty good. The wait staff was great, prices not bad. Drinks and food selections pretty good.

Stopped in for a late valentines lunch and wow is all I can say! Food was so good and fresh and the drinks were the bomb! The wait staff is very personable and accommodating. This was our second time here and I can definitely say we will return again and again! Thank you Mike!

Great brunch. Different interesting menu. Had the the duck confit tacos with quail eggs. Awesome, & I thought I didn’t like duck. Great service. 2nd time here & definitely a fave.

It was okay. The tacos were good but not the best the city has to offer. Pretty much more for the bar than the food.

If I lived closer, I’d visit many times a year and try every single thing on the menu. The feeling we got was a comfy neighborhood hangout “where everyone knows your name” and each employee wants to make sure your meal and experience is the best. The food was innovative, which wouldn’t get boring. And all 7 things we tried were perfectly delicious! We split a salmon slider, a chicken slider, a pork belly taco, a Tri-Fungi taco, a side salad with strawberries, a Thai Curry Fideo, and the Strawberry Lemonade Sangria. All were amazing!

Week night. Compared to other times, 6 p.m. on a Monday is a great time to eat here. No fighting over the very few parking spaces. The tacos were good and filling. The corn was also quite good. We especially enjoyed the grilled veggies. Service was attentive. Very popular with the millennials too. Odd to be next to Adam & Eve adults products store, but oh well...

We came for brunch and it was amazing! We will definitely be back to try the regular menu (I heard taco Tuesday is really good too) and be back for more brunch!

Delicious food; “OK” service. My wife and I had a delicious brunch but the servers seemed more interested in the other tables around us. Enjoyed the Coconut Margarita & Sangria Flight. Highly recommend anything with Chorizo gravy!

This place has great sangria flights! A must try. My favorite was the grapefruit version. The food was also great. Everyone was happy and can't wait to go back. They don't take reservations, so there can be a wait, but a must try. We tried the nachos and sliders.

Oh my gosh, y'all. This place is unlike any other I've been to in awhile! The Po' Boy BBQ Slider wilk melt-in-your-mouth, & there are no words to describe the Deep Blue Slider because it is so delicious. Our Queso was exceptional, and don't even get me started on the Sangrias. Without a doubt, the best Sangria I have ever had at a place that isn't located on a Beach. The White Sangria and the Jameson Ginger Sangria will knock your socks off. The atmosphere and staff are all welcoming and friendly- I'm super impressed. Their level of service at Sangria on the Burg well surpasses that of most anywhere else. I recommend 100%. We had such an excellent meal here, more laughs than I can count, and such an enjoyable time. We left there feeling completely satisfied. If you are a fan of great Cocktails, Sliders, Texas barbecue, Tacos, Out of This World prices, a Happy Hour that is jaw dropping, a sweet Patio- This is your place😘.

This place is amazing!! Definitely not your run of the mill tacos or sliders!! Very unique blended flavors...expect your taste buds to explode!!

No matter what I order, it has always been a great stories on how well created their entrees are. Definitely customer centric along with a homey feel. I recommend this place to anyone who wants great food and a great experience. I keep coming back because they are so consistent.

I just discovered this wonderful place! The food is mostly tacos, but they have salads and sliders, too. Also enjoyed chips and queso and the margaritas flight (four generous tastes of different flavors of frozen margaritas). The service was also excellent. It’s a teeny tiny place so it’s recommended to make reservations through Yelp.

Today we had brunch for six family members!! Steve, our waiter, did a phenomenal job for us. Discussed menu and drink items. High-end quality ingredients were used and the food was excellent. Not your typical breakfest menu. If you want that, stick to Denney's. Highly recommend the 3 Egg Brisket Omelet and Panko Chicken with French Toast - AWESOME!!! The table also ordered three beverage flights - Frozen Margarita, Sangia and Mimosa, all mixed with fresh fruits and juices. My fave, white sangria with Jamison! Warning, on the weekends get a reservation.

After arriving to San Antonio on a Thursday, we checked into the hotel, put our stuff down and looked up this place which was only 5 min up the street. This spot was in the corner, parking is small, but we found one. The place is not that large but the greeting was, the workers were. We found four seats, and put the 2 kids right next to us in a 2 seat. We ordered drinks(a tray of sangria for me), margarita for Vickie, 2 new drinks for my daughter and niece. We ordered ribs and salsa and chips before looking at menu. It was Happy Hour time so they had a special menu for food and drinks. My daughter had the tacos of the day, elotes, and choc tres les cake. My niece also had tacos, my nephew had nachos, and Braylen(11) had a burger. I really cant remember what I ordered, but it was good and I ate it all. Vickie had some soup .they were full inside, but have a patio outside. I'm glad we arrive to grab a table, because it was very windy. ok after reading someone review, I remember I had sliders(very good). the bar was busy and crowded. Recommend going early before 5pm

My husband and I came here to meet up with a friend who was in town visiting his family for Thanksgiving. We showed up around 12:30 in the afternoon the day after thanksgiving. We were surprised to learn they were serving brunch as it was only Friday. No worries, as it didn't affect my food choices. All of us started off with a flight of sangrias. We also ordered some chips, salsa, and guacamole to snack on. I learned that their chips and guacamole were all made in house. I had asked as I have an intolerance to gluten and dairy and their food would fit my accommodations. I ordered the taco trio which consisted of pork belly, fish, and steak tacos. All tacos were made dairy-free meaning no cheese and I think one sauce had to be skipped. I also ordered the grilled veggies as my side. OMG my mouth was in heaven with each taco. I was not impressed with the grilled veggies as they were random veggies (see picture). It didn't matter because I left very full and happy. My husband ordered the chicken and french toast and loved it! He said the flavor and breading was exceptional. He indicated it sat a little heavy but would get again. Which honestly makes sense. haha Our friend enjoyed the slider trio and with a side salad to balance out his meal. He enjoyed them all just the same. Overall a great place for a bite to eat while in San Antonio. We had really good service and the food was above average. I highly recommend but please note the place is a no-frills place and on the smaller side.

Thank goodness I made reservations for TACO TUESDAY! We had reservations at 2115 but were seated right before our reserved time. This was my first visit. So quaint and very clean. There is seating inside and a small space for outside dining too. Our waitress, Olivia, came by and received our drink order. She told us of their specials for the day and that happy hour started at 9pm. We ordered a white sangria and a sangria swirl. Drinks came out and looked, tasted delicious! We ordered their Caesar's Queso as an appetizer. Our main course was the following; 2 pork belly tacos, TT fundido taco, Southern Chicken taco, charred corn, and creamed corn. Prices were based from their happy hour menu. Appetizer queso was one of the most flavorful dips I have had in a long time. The pork belly was nicely seared on the outside and flavorful. The mango pico is a wonderful sweet touch to this taco. The queso fundido taco with chorizo is another nicely paired taco. The queso had the consistancy of mozzarella and the chorizo was not as greasy as most. The chicken taco was okay, per my guest. Both corn dishes were perfect. The sweetened cream corn was a tad bit better than the charred corn, personal preference. All in all this was a great choice for a farewell dinner between friends. We did need to ask for silverware and plates. Taco tortillas were ordered to be a bit toasted and they were not.

We went on a Friday at 5:00 pm but we couldn't find parking, we tried again on a Tuesday around 4:30 and we were able to find a spot in the parking lot, the ambiance is more like a European "Meson" very cozy with outstanding service, we were greeted by everyone even though they were busy with only one table left and 3 sits at the bar; we choose the bar and Michelle was our bartender, she explained the drinks, the food and was very attentive, the drinks were very refreshing and made with real fruit, a variety of delectable tequila or vodka infusions; The food was plentiful and absolutely delightful, my 7 yr old son was amazed by the pasta and the chef came over to spend sometime with my son as well as other waiters, they really made us feel very comfortable and my 7 yr old loves the place. This will be our place to go! They offer $1 off on drinks during happy hour. Prices are very affordable to begin with and they use local farmers and organic products. Just be cautious that it is in a shared retail plaza in medical center and therefore Parking is very tight. Some people were parking across the street in a different retail plaza, but I'm not sure if in a different plaza might have your vehicle tolled, so try to arrive early.

We were visiting San Antonio for Spring Break last week, and I can't stop thinking about this place! Definitely go with a group or with someone that shares because it's hard to choose! Luckily, our party of 5, went on taco Tuesday and we all got something different and shared. The drinks are the same! I had a Sangria and a margarita! You can order flights to try them all, so delicious! The service was top-notch! It's been so long since we've had service like that, that I forgot that's the way it's supposed to be.

They outdid themselves! Small place so make a reservation Their culinarily menu was amazing Service outstanding too as were drinks Can’t wait to visit again

This was my first trip to San Antonio and I was brought to Sangria after a business meeting. The casual atmosphere, delicious food, and phenomenal Sangria would make me a regular if I lived in town. The only downside is they do not sell their recipes.

We went on Saturday, I ordered the sliders, the menu has 3 different types on the plate on the brunch menu, I asked for two of one kind and one other. They said there would be a one dollar upcharge which I thought was awful but didn’t say anything and ordered something different. Later when I was getting the change from the bill the bartender gave me 18 ones, I asked if I could get a ten and a five and he just smirked. Too many choices of places to eat these days. We won’t return. I like Caesar, the owner, but service has steadily declined.

The drinks & food were amazing!! Staff was awesome. One of the few things I love about Texas is the food and they did not disappoint.

The place is small and parking is really an issue BUT the food was good. The mimosa flight was nothing to brag about so I wouldn't order it again. We were there for brunch so we had the pork belly hash and the barbacoa eggs Benedict. The hash was a flavor bomb, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Sadly the eggs were just ok. The barbacoa was a so dry that the poblano sauce didn't really help. The fruit bowl was so simple but soooo good!

Michelle and Jaime are awesome!!!!! Good team workout together taking care of everyone. Busy on Friday nights so arrive early! Fantastic drinks and food

This was a fantastic find. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. Make sure that you get a reservation since seating aid limited.

Had the burger of the day and it was great! The soup and ribs were good, too! We had to have a happy ending and chose the salted Carmel brownie... delicious!

Had a great time here with friends last night. Lovely night to sit in the patio. Great grilled fish and pork belly taco combo with side salad. Great ginger Jameson sangria and food customer service. Would definitely go back.

And the food is delish! It is a small place but the food is so tasty! I have tried most of their salads, the queso, and the special they ran for restaurant week. All have been tasty, and beautiful!

I went for dinner and sat at the bar. The food is very good. The menu is simple and the inside of the restaurant mirrors the menu. I had the pork belly and beef taco with the side house salad. The salad works great with the tacos because it is acidic and counters the richness of the meat in the tacos. I had the Ginger Jameson sangria, it was good, a little bit on the sweet side for my palate, but the flavor was good. Don't skip the Mexican Chocolate cheese cake---it was stellar. The only critique is that there was staff there that didn't want to work, but really only 2 people were working hard as the other waitress just flirted with a group of men at the end of the bar.

Saturday night. Enjoyed the fideo (soup) to start the meal. All enjoyed their salads and tacos, which are accompanied by grilled veggies instead of beans/rice. Attentive service. If children are in your party, just divert their attention from the adult store's (Adam & Eve) windows next door.

I’ve been trying to get into Sangria OTB for over a year. It is usually too crowded to get a parking space or a table. I feel very fortunate to have gotten in on an early spring Saturday night with my husband, daughter, and mother and father-in-law. The Sangria flight was very good but many of the sangrias tasted similarly my MIL had the jalapeño cucumber margarita and absolutely loved it. I had a sangria margarita and it was very good as well. Men had craft beer. We were there for happy hour and the food did not disappoint. Believe it or not the fries were a favorite. We went alone because at one point they sold out! We had brisket nachos that were great and queso that was delicious. My daughter there fideo and a yummy house salad really enjoyed them. We also shared the bacon cheeseburger sliders and they were so tasty! It was a great night!

Fun lunch last week with friends, relaxed atmosphere, smells great due to the smoking of meats, good wait staff and fantastic food. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot and vice a versa for cold items. Love the salad accoutrements, the sangria display and fresh fish with the perfect cook. We all agreed to come back soon.

I went there for dinner with a friend and was surprisingly delighted as to how good the food was. The only downfall is the size of the restaurant we had to sit by the men's bathroom. The men's bathroom quickly converted to a women's bathroom as well. I ordered the ribs for an appetizer had to sliders and order the four drinks for the price of one. The ribs meat fell off the bone. My friend ordered the tacos they were delicious as well. The waiter forgot our appetizer of the fideo soup and brought it later for us as a complimentary take home. We tried before we left and superb flavor. The waiter commented that every day their fideo soup is different. I highly recommend this place but be prepared to wait for a table or sit outside in the heat, the next eatery itself needs a better location or expand outside and parking is not the greatest either

My wife and I really enjoy this place. This is where we bring friends and family from out of town. We really enjoy their happy hour and their lunch specials are always good.

With the often new additions to the menu I am always in for a treat!! I love this restaurant. The food is always unique and intense! Bold fresh flavors! The tacos are to die for!! Think of everything you love about tex-mex and add a little twist to it. I really could just gorge myself at this place lol!!! I am never disappointed and the owner is a sweetheart! This is a diamond in the rough!! I wouldn't bring younger kiddos. Any babe over 6 should be ok

Caesar is the long time executive chef at LaFonda on Main who has set out on his own he has a great concept of creative handmade Mexican fare. His soups are outstanding as are the selection of tacos and sandwiches. We were there for lunch and the business was brisk, but not too crowded. God service. Will return.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants in town. Great vibe, great food, great prices. Their happy hour rocks. Must try when in the area.

We visited this casual spot based on a feature by a TV reviewer. They are known for their sangria flights. We stopped in for an early dinner to check it out. Three of us ordered the sangria flights. It is a flight of 4. The grapefruit one was the best, but one was too sweet to finish. The other two were just okay. I definitely would not order them again. The best dish ordered by our group was the fish tacos with a side salad. The salad looked fresh and nicely prepared. I ordered the salmon sliders. The salmon patty was lightly coated in Panko. It could have used a bit more spice, but overall was okay. I took it off the bun. There was a smidgen of a slaw on the bun. I ordered the Mac and cheese side to share. It was gloppy and gritty, not very tasty. I wouldn't recommend it. Two others split a pork quesadilla which came with a side of chips and queso. They thought it was tasty. To me, it looked like an overkill of cheese, but they enjoyed it. It's in a small strip center and parking is a challenge. There is an outside deck. It was busy and apparently frequented by folks from the nearby hospital. While there were some hits and misses, I would not return.

We were in San Antonio for a medical issue and stumbled upon this restaurant! What a find! The Jameson sangria is a must try as well as the grilled corn! My husband and I tried the tacos and sliders and both were wonderful! Check these guys out!

Unique concept for a TexMex taco restaurant. Food well prepared and generous portions. Sangria and marguerita flights allowed sharing to try more drinks. Reservations recommended but able to eat at the bar. Very quick service. Loved the grilled jalapeños.

I was happy to see that Sangria participated in Restaurant Week; however, overall the meal was not outstanding. We debated trying the sangria flight; however, after reading the list of ingredients, it sounded like a sugar overload just waiting to happen. I could see how this would appeal to a younger audience. We selected the fideo, which today had both chicken and beef. This was very good. The broth was delicious and both the chicken and beef were very tender. I selected the loaded baked potato, stuffed with pork belly. The potato was well-cooked but not hot. It did have butter and cheese. The pieces of pork belly was not tender. My husband selected the shrimp poor boy. The sandwich was overly dressed with shredded cabbage, tomato and pickle. The cabbage was too heavy. The sandwich was not well-seasoned and kind of bland. The bread pudding was not a stand out either. It was just OK. The wait staff is attentive.

Great sangria, and flank steak tacos!! (Not so much on the dessert we chose - Mexican cheesecake) We were seated within 15 minutes and had wonderful service :)

Had the steak tacos and the shrimp tacos with mango habanero salsa. Both were excellent. Service was good. Beer was good. Sangria was good according to my friend. I will be back.

Had the grapefruit sangria and pork sliders and thye did not dissapoint. My daughter said the mac & cheese was among the best she had tasted. There was not a abundance of indoor dining tables.

I love Culinaria Weeks, in San Antonio. These happen twice a year and I look forward to them. The selection of restaurants is varied and some restaurants offer special menus and prices for either lunch or supper; some offer both. This year, just like everything else, the cost of lunch has increased from $15 to $20. Some restaurants are offering a more expensive lunch, at $30. Suppers are more expensive; however, the menus are more extensive. Even more important, these restaurants give some of the money to the local Food Bank.Wonderful! The first course offers your choice of the soup of the day or a winter salad. The soup was a Fideo type that was a tomato basil flavor. My husband and I both selected the winter salad, which consists of Field greens, poached pear, red wine vinaigrette, crumbled blue cheese and candied pecans. It was very good. We both selected the southern catfish and chips. Which was Crisp lemon brine catfish over fries with aji amarillo tartar sauce. The portions were large, each of us were served two large fillets along with french fries. The second offering as the second course is a Brisk Ghetti, smoked brisket over tender spaghetti with house marinara, shaved parmesan, fresh basil and garlic-butter toast. Dessert was a Chocolate Coffee Cheesecake, a fluffy coffee cheesecake, which resembles a mousse, with an Oreo crust and Bailey’s whipped cream. An oreo cookie also sits on top of the cream with chocolate sauce dripped over it. Check out Taco Tuesday, as they have some very appetizing tacos that include pork belly. Happy Hour is every weekday between 3pm and 6pm. Note: Parking is very limited and reservations are highly recommended. If you arrive via Lyft or Uber, and provide a receipt of the ride, your table will receive a free bowl of chips and queso. One of the questions, at the end of this page, asks if this a "Latin Restaurant"? I don't think that offering tacos and fideo actually makes this Latin.

This place is on point! My friend and I both had a variety of sliders which were very tasty! Fries were homemade and grilled veggies were phenomenal! (Watch for the lone veggie!) good beer selection and all sangria was done well! Will return, and absolutely recommend for a nice atmosphere and very good food!

This place is all the rage. We saw a photo (from a friend) of their fried fish which looked well cooked, crispy, and delicious. So, we decided to try it out last night. It arrived and it did not look like the picture I had seen...so right away I am thinking they have a consistency problem, which is the death nell of a restaurant. You can see in the picture I am posting that the fish is white as are the fries--definitely undercooked. Sure enough, it was mushy. A real shame. This is SO EASY to spot before it leaves the kitchen guys! I also tried the sliders and found them to be good, but not great. The rice pudding bites were novel and tasty, but the brownie was standard and uneventful. The food was okay...not at all bad, but I don't want to spend my time and money at places that are just okay. So, I can say that the 45 minutes we waited for a table wasn't worth it.

Never knew this restaurant existed and it was a pleasant surprise. Saw Sangria on the Burg listed during restaurant week and we gave it a try. The chef queso was very good, the fideo was a little bland, but after adding a little salt and salsa it was tasty, the fish tostadas were excellent and the chocolate tres leches cake was wonderful. We will definitely go back and possibly at happy hour and try a Sangria (or two) :)

We were there at the stroke of 11:00 and glad we were because they were full by 11:30. The coffee is strong but super flavorful; the cold brewed latte was decadent. My friend also had a Mimosa that she said was yummy. We saw lots of flights of Mimosas being delivered. We split the avocado toast which surprise was studded with fresh fruit. The taco trio had a nice combination: pork belly, fish and beef. A return trip is anticipated.

Husband scoped this restaurant as a bit of a surprise. It was a great pick!! Fresh twist on Tex Mex food!! Recommend the lemon ginger margarita!!

Both my husband and I ordered tacos for Taco Tuesday, He had brisket tacos, I had a fish taco that was marvelous, a Hawaiian pork taco that was great and a chicken fajita taco that was just as it sounds. The tortilla was made in house I think. Love that! We split an order of charred corn. The corn comes with some type of cheese sprinkled on top. The cheese is creamy. I liked it a lot, I don't eat a lot of corn but broke my rule to give this a try. I am glad I did as it is really unique. None of what we had would we find in any restaurants in our home state of Minnesota. Oh... for drinks I had a grapefruit sangria which was tasty but my husband had a coconut margarita which I can not recommend strongly enough. Delicious.! Our server was friendly, our experience great. We will be stopping in again before we leave San Antonio.

We were immediately greated by friendly staff. The peach Sangria was very tasty. We ordered chips and queso, dirty Sanchez and miss piggy sliders with a loaded Mac and cheese. I must say everything was delicious. The Mac and cheese was hot, gooie and topped with brisket and fritos. I'm ready to go back and try other menu items.

We want in with 5 minutes left on happy hour, the owner come over right away with menu's. He wanted to be sure we got the happy hour prices. Staff was constantly stopping by making sure we had everything needed. Great Service, best I have had in SA. The briskets tacos and queso are delious. Can wait to try the rest of the menu items. We will be requlars here. Visit at happy hour, there are awesome food and drink deals.
YUM!
Love this unique little hole in the wall restaurant! Locally sourced and made in house, this place serves up some great sliders and tacos, as well as salads and grilled veggies. The jalapeno cucumber margarita is delicious and the sangrias are great. So many to choose from.
