You will find good Venezuelan street food, excellent service and great music, all of this while you enjoy the art in the place, every single detail in the place is admirable. Thank you Sergio for this Master piece.

Our most memorable meal!

By familyoffournw |

We ate our way through DC and NYC during our 6 day trip, but it was on a rainy day visit to Bushwick following a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge that gave us our most memorable meal! Hot dogs but not as you know them, packed with unique flavours and served in a quirky environment by a single member of staff who on the day we visited was host, bar tender and cook! Highly recommend.

Unusual hotdogs with a Venezuelan twist

This must be very vibrant in the evenings but we had a quick lunch there after looking at the Bushwick Collective street art The hotdogs were full of flavours. The decor was all made up of recycled surfboards even the chairs!

Hole in the wall and superb Venezuelan food

Venezuelan street food: "perros con todo", "especial" burgers, pepitos, emapanadas, yuca fries. Especially good: A hunk of grilled white cheese gets grilled in a hot dog bun and covered with onions, cabbage and crushed potato chips, with ketchup, mustard and the spot's parsley/cilantro Guasacaca sauce A slice of avocado is extra, but worth the $6.00 price tag.

Best Hot Dogs in New York

By kathytorhjelm |

This very small bistro was right across the street from our AirbNb and the food was delicious. The owner said his hot dogs are the best in New York and I agree. The service was excellent - it has an A rating - and it was a treat to try authentic Venezuelan food. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic

Fantastic food and very cheap compared to Manhattan. I can only recommend it a little off the beaten track in Bushwick. Take it

Great vibe in a local hole in the wall with Venezuelan street food

I found this place through the local NY foodie account, Righteous Eats. Serving Venezuelan street food, this place doesn’t have the most amazing food I’ve ever had in my life, but still gets five stars for creativity and uniqueness. I had the Perro Con Todo hotdog, voted the best NYC hotdog by the Village Voice, which boasts onions, cabbage, chips, shredded cheese, ketchup, mustard, and salsa. I love a good dog, but wish they had served mine hotter and with the cheese melted. It arrived a little cold and flat. They have several types of dogs with various cheesy toppings, veggie choices, and meats. They also have a vegan dog. I also had the Criminal Burger, served with chicken, steak, or chorizo. Also comes with egg, ham, cheese, onion, and chips. Fries must be purchased separately. As with the hotdogs, there are several renditions from which to choose, all with unique meat and veggie toppings—and yes, there is a vegan burger. They also have meat platters and sandwiches to clog any artery you have! My favorite part were the cocktails. Mezcal drinks, margaritas, beers, shots. Super reasonably priced (especially for New York!) and I found them fruity and refreshing. This is a quirky, edgy establishment with tons of fun art and stickers all over the wall. When I went, I was the only dine in patron and several people from the neighborhood stopped by for to go orders. Service was excellent. My server was super attentive and answered all questions about the menu. She made my drinks perfectly. Great local spot to chow down on street eats and margs.
