Excellent old style square pizza. A lot of options or you can make your own. Santucci’s may be most famous for their pizzas but they also have an excellent selection of sandwiches. I love their meatball sandwich. The chicken Parmesan is great as well. Hard to go wrong here weather you prefect pizza or a good sandwich .

I used to frequent the Santucci's in the Northeast and sometimes Manayunk. When I moved to Pennsport I was pumped that there was a Santucci's near by. While I favor the northeast's pizza, I love the Santucci signature style of putting the sauce on top. I recommend the pepperoni pizza.

Friendly staff. Chose the margarita pizza and the works pizza. Both were good. Liked the thinner, crispy crust. Very saucy.

There are only a handful of places in Philly doing true tomato pie (some say it evolved in Trenton) and this place does a great version. A square pie with sweeter sauce - great toppings on their "works"!

Been wanting to try Santucci's for a long time and finally got my chance and it didn't disappoint. Got a large pie piping hot out of the oven with anchovies. One of the best in Philly.

We ordered from santucci square in warminster last nite. My sister lives off of Linden Ave where she just loves their pizza there. My wir and I have gone to their store in warminster before, but we didn't order pizza. Just a cheesesteak & homemade meatball sub. Both where good. However last we order last nite a large pizza with green peppers, onions, , pepperoni & mild sausage plus 2 cheesesteaks. They told us 20 minutes, we left out house in 10 minutes. To my surprise, both cheesesteak tasted good but they weren't warm at all plus the $ 23.00 pizza wasn't hot either and the dough was under cooked. For over $ 40. We spent wasn't worth the money. Also when my sister orders from around her house, they crumble the sausage not the sliced ones that we got. I believe that they should be made all the same way. I would give this a 5 rating out of 10, definitely not good

We went there for two dinners and a breakfast, very kind people and advices ! We could test the specialities of Philly and the local beers. The square pizzas are really tasty and the cheesesteak too. The atmosphere is really nice there and I loved the radio :)

This is the best pizza I have had since I can ever remember. It is just so authentically good, real pizza! I live in the burbs and nothing compares. I will always stop there when I am in the city!

They put the mozzarella under the sauce, interesting idea and actually quite delicious. I've been to there place in the Northeast also. Good for a quick pizza fix

Been to Santucci's many times since they opened so we were extremely disappointed at the treatment we received there tonight. We walked in at around 5:30. One table was full and the other held a single diner. We were told to go to the back and sit. No one escorted us, no one set the bare table. In a second the waitress was hovering rushing us for drinks...then our order. Another couple came in that was obviously not from the neighborhood. They were escorted to a table which was promptly set up and told that a large party was coming in soon. Meanwhile it was freezing in the place. Our table still not set, we were now asked to get up and move against the wall with our table squeezed against the lone diner so they could take 2 of our chairs and table for the large party coming in later. It was at this point we realized even though we were loyal neighborhood customers who not only came in frequently but also called for takeout...we would not get any attention tonight. We were rushed to order and could see that service would be going down from there. Who knew what would happen when the long awaited big party got there. Would we be rushed to finish and get out or would we be told to go outside to eat!!! We paid for our sodas and left...very disappointed in how they reward loyalty. Tonight we were a party of 2 but normally we bring friends and family in. Guess we will have to find another place to bring our business! Too bad as we are also great tippers. Note: it was Sunday...Our favorite waitress must have been off .

The best pizza I’ve ever had and in phila! I’ve eaten it for probably 20 years now. I always get the pepperoni pie and the sauce on top is simply delicious. I eat it cold and hot. If you want a great square pie with crispy crust, you won’t be disappointed.

Just a block from the Italian market, we lunched at Santucci's. It is comfortable and affordable, with a casual attractive Meditteranean ambience. The Granny Smith Apple salad sings freshness with Gorgonzola and candied walnuts as a sweet surprise amongh the thin crisps of green tart apple. The soup of the day was a Sicilian pork -more like a thick stew with green olives and raisins complementing the tender meat. Excellent! The lamb ragout over fresh tagliatelle was wonderful. The medium square pizza offered six cuts and could easily feed two or three. Food and service both great - we'll be back. Cash only, with an ATM on site.

This was our first stop after checking into the Bella Vista Bed and Breakfast. The pizza was fantastic!

We had buffalo wings, a Caesar salad and two personal size pizzas. Everything was really delicious. Service was friendly and efficient.

i picked up food to go on Saturday, i wanted to add shrimp to something that the app wouldn't let me. They were very accommodating something was missing from my order and they delivered it to me ASAP. I will totally be going back

Generous portions divinely seasoned, our pulled pork sandwich and pizzas were the best buy of my Summer 2015 travels. It's a BYOB place, like many we saw in this fun Italian neighborhood.

I went here with my mom and grandma to see an old family friend. They have good coffee. We each ate a cannoli. It was yummy! Good times!

All the trips to Philly and even trip to South Philly and never tried a slice of pizza? Well, finally we did, we had a personal size Margarita pie and we loved it, really good square pie, it was thin, so if you are not a fan of Sicilian slice because of all the dough, you will love this place.

This place is cute and quaint. It's a small family run Italian restaurant with some of the very best pizza this 40something year old italian has had! Very reasonable prices. Super nice. Super clean. Super friendly. The garlic bread cheese steak smells like heaven and the man next to me almost ate his plate along with his sandwich. Go there!

After running into long waits for brunch at other neighborhood spots we ended up at Santucci's. I opted for the eggs benedict which was very good, cooked perfectly and my wife had the scramble with onions & peppers. My only complaint is that the eggs benedict didn't come with hashbrowns while the scramble did. Odd. Either way the coffee was good, service attentive, and food tasty and affordable. No frills, good standby spot. I might even go here first next time...

Based on reviews a friend and I went for the pizza and it did not disappoint, delicious!! I was a bit concerned that the sauce on the top would be too thick and chunky, but it wasn't, it was just perfect. We noticed several locals eating the parmesan fries, and figured we should try, well, these were perhaps the best fries I've ever have, fresh and hand-cut, not too crunchy, not too soft, perfect amount of cheese!

Loves it best sauce and crust I have ever tasted, can't say enough good things about it. If you have the chance to grab a slice make sure you Do.

You can reserve a table on-line. We originally did and then arrived earlier then planned and they sat us immediately outside which was our preference. They had a table inside as well. It was Saturday night at around 6:30. I cancelled our ressies when we sat down. We ordered a large pizza or pie for four adults and this was plenty. We took home three pieces. We also had the red velvet cake that we split and this was very good. I think this is a BYOB place but not sure. We are very unfamiliar with this concept because we live in Indiana. Service was great. We would most definitely come here again. We ate here at supper and walked from the Italian district with no problem.

Went here last night for a later dinner. When we walked up, all of the tables outside were full (there were only 5 or 6 but a few had been pushed together) but one was leaving so we snagged it. The weather was too nice to eat indoors! We decided on the Veggie pizza because it seemed most economical to pay $13 for a medium Veggie pizza that came with 5 toppings instead of $10 + $1.25 per topping to make a custom veggie pizza. So the pricing seemed pretty reasonable. The pizza itself wasn't anything to write home about. It was square. I felt like it lacked cheese for being advertised as having extra cheese. It was also pretty greasy (as in, I picked up my slice and it dripped in a bad way) and a little too salty for our taste. A medium pizza was plenty for two average people to finish. I wasn't super hungry so we even had 2 of the 6 slices left over. We must have missed the cash only sign because when it came time to pay we were informed that they didn't accept cards. Thought that was odd as the website says they will have online ordering soon. They do have an ATM inside if you forget to bring cash. Overall, not a terrible experience, but I wasn't blown away either.

The fact this place is a BYOB, has excellent salads and great pizza makes me say this restaurant is Excellent. The price is right, the food great and nice atmosphere. More of a take out place but they have a decent sized seating area. I highly recommend.

We went to Santucci's because it was a main stop on a food tour we signed up for. I'm unsure of which pizza we got, but it was festooned with cheese, meats, and some veggies. Good? Uhhh, this place put good in the rear-view mirror. OMG! To die for. The complexities of the tastes and textures were transfixing. Confession #1: I ate kind of quickly in hopes that some of the other folks on the tour would not eat all of their assigned portions. Confession #2: I found the other people on the tour to be incredibly selfish.

My daughter, granddaughter and I were meeting a friend here. We already had lunch so we just ordered dessert. The cannoli was delicious. The service was great and the waitress was very pleasant. I would love to eat the Sicilian Pizza the next time I visit. It looked delicious.

My wife and I came in as part of a food tour and had some outstanding pasta carbonara. The bread was also top notch. We had some the Italian long hot (peppers) starter and they were very hot, so make sure you get some water. Highly recommend overall and will definitely go back. Also Santucci’s is BYOB so bring your own beer or wine!

I have been to Santucci"s original location in South Philadelphia and the newer location on North Broad St several times. I love the pizza, fries, wings, and burgers. While the food is wonderful, the service is fantastic too. A warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly, attentive servers. Bring your cash though, they do not accept cards. The original locations on 10th st is small but cozy, and they do not sell alcohol or beer. The one on Broad street is cash only as well but does have alcohol fro sale. Want a great pizza ? look no further.

My wife and I went shopping on 9th Street, and then were looking for a place to have a decent meal. We had never seen Santucci's, but it looked bright and clean from the outside, with lots of customers sitting at tables. We sent in, and ordered a ceasar salad and a mid-sized pizza. The salad was ample for two people, and so was the pizza. The salad was very crisp, with a good dressing. The pizza was crunchy and well-cooked all the way to the center--just like we like it. This is one of the best finds in Philadelphia. We will surely come back to Santucci's. Jean and Nate

We stopped in for a quick dinner before going to The Met for a concert. Not a huge place, but much more than a pizza parlor. We were told there would be a wait, but they move quickly. After looking at the menu we decided to order a bunch of small foods. Everything was so good, we kept ordering more for just 2 people. We had the meatballs, wings, mozzarella sticks, and a stromboli. Everything was great and well worth their prices. Even the wings were great, so juicy! And don't pass on the meatballs. Wanted to try even more things on the menu, but that was plenty of food for two. Never did try the pizza. The service was also top notch. The waitress was always there when we needed and friendly too. Going to The Met, stop here for dinner. Well worth it.

The pizza was good, but very salty. It was cold when we got it because it came over 90 minutes from when we ordered it. The crust is delicious though. I would try again but not delivery, I would go to the restaurant if I gave it another chance.

We were visiting Philly for New Years and decided to try Santucci's to go. The pizzas are HUGE so two of them fed 8 of us with extra slices left over. We got 2 salads too. Make sure you have cash, they don't take credit cards. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a good value!

We came here on our first day in Philadelphia. Really nice place, friendly people. We all had pasta and it was really tasty. Big portion also. Nice italian food!! They seem to be more known for their pizza and that also looked really good.

Had fries topped with braised beef and provolone whiz, it was divine, my husband had pizza and my son had pasta. This Californian was impressed!

Hands down the best pizza i have ever had. Family owned restaurant. The lady that greeted us was the owner. She was very friendly! Can't communicate enough how good this place is. We tried both the pizza and stombolis..Awesome! They have a few restaurants, but I only have been to the one on 10th street. The restaurant is small but big enough to sit a good amount of people...with a few tables outside on the sidewalk. Definitely will be back!

I ordered a personal pizza before we went to a show at the Met. Fantastic and filling, I couldn't even eat the final piece. Sausage is EXCELLENT. We'll be back.

Very good square pizza, chicken wings, short rib sandwich, great apple-blue cheese-walnut salad. Take out or eat in.

I just went to Santucci's for the first time yesterday, and I was so happy with my experience. I got the fried long hots as an appetizer, which were delicious, and came with yummy bread and olive oil, all for only $3. Awesome. As we waited for our food we looked around at other people's entrees, and they all looked soooo good, particularly the NY strip steak, which was a special that evening. My friend ordered the cheese ravioli, clearly homemade, with a beautiful bright red marinara sauce. I didn't try it but she said it was delicious. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara. It is served with Parmesan cheese, HOUSE CURED pancetta, and a perfectly runny egg yolk on top. Basically like a breakfast pasta. It was amazing, very flavorful. And I got a huge portion for $10!! Next time I will definitely leave room for dessert. I grabbed a to-go menu and realized they also serve brunch on weekends.. can't wait to try that! Santucci's menu is classic Italian but still unique, definitely NOT your typical old pizza place. They're making everything from scratch, and it really makes a difference.

My picky dad hates almost everything because it doesn't compare to his south philly memories as a kid. Well, the square pizza at Santuccis exceeded his expectations and mine. Great pizza!

Had a Caesar salad which was excellent. Friend had a cheeseburger and personal veggie pizza. He said both were top-notch. Service was good. Note that they do not accept credit cards.

Me and my partner came here by pure chance one afternoon and just decided to pop in as it looked nice inside. We were quickly shown to a table and our waitress took our drinks order. A nice touch was she kept refilling our sodas at no extra cost! I don't think our glasses ever went below 1/4 full before it was quickly refilled! To start we had garlic bread and fries which were good size portions and then for a main a had a medium cooked burger and my partner had some pasta carbonara.I would definitely recommend the sweet potato fires and the garlic Parmesan fries!- they were SO good! Overall a 2 course meal with plenty to eat, refill drinks and friendly waiting staff came to $45. Well worth the money and when we're next in Philly we'll pop in again!! Overall, delicious food, fantastic service, super value for money and huge portion sizes!

Came to this neighborhood restaurant for a quick dinner. The short rib sandwich and garlic philly cheese steak were both delicious. The flat bread chicken pizza was not great but the original pizza with mushrooms and sausage was exceptional!! Very reasonably priced and great service

Seven days a week… get your Italian cravings satisfied…at the right price for everyone! As we were seated I noted folks at the table next to us sharing a huge Caesar salad. Presentation on a square wooden plate reminded me of the traditional wooden salad bowl. Worked for us, too. YUM is all I can say… The lines for take-out pizza, etc extended out the door so one knows PIZZAs are good. Everything is prepared fresh so when it’s served…be hungry and ready to eat. Mangia Mangia Mangia!!! Buon appetito!

As we order and stop into the Santuccis on Broad quite often (they offer a bake-it-yourself pie that you can make at home), we thought it was time to try out the original on 10th after being told numerous times that it was better than the original. Although the meal was great, I think there's a consistency between the two restaurants. We typically order a roasted red pepper + one other topping combo with a caesar salad and chicken parm and believe me when I tell you, for the 30 bucks it comes out to is by far worth going to any more refined, ambience heavy italian restaurant in South Philly.

Generous toppings, rich-tasting sauce, deliciously crisped crust, and great service. I am hard to please but can't wait to go back for more Santucci's pizza.

We went there with family and below are some key points; -We went on a Saturday at 1PM with 8 people and had no wait to be seated -Salads were large and very fresh - BYOB - As everyone noted the pizzas are great but I have to mention..the pizzas are great. A small has 4 small square slices a large has 8. -Service is friendly and attentive. We had our 2 kids (under 10 years old). Full mix of ages and nice overall experience. We will be back.

Their flatbread pizza are very tasty and particular. Good quality and nice place. Reasonable prices.

We usually order from here on their website and the food has been good. Tonight we ordered and the food was terrible! Not only that their delivery person was rude! We ordered boneless wings with honey chipotle and they were overcooked and rubbery. The boneless wings with mild sauce had barely any sauce. I had to make my own. They forgot the blue cheese and celery. The onion rings were burnt. the antipasto platter was a joke. The meat was ok, just 3/4 prosciutto and 1/4 salami. The other part was supposed to be assorted cheeses but was bits of manchango cheese. about 6 tiny and I mean tiny pieces that should have been thrown away. I will post picture. The rest was 3 roasted long hots, a big bunch of roasted red peppers, sad looking pickled onions, and 8 tiny kalamata olives. The bread was cheap, stale baguette.

The square pizza looked good but the taste was off. It seemed a little undercooked. The chicken parm on the other hand was very good.

First time visiting, waitress was very helpful and polite, as well as, patient. Loved the food, Philly Steak tasted good but was a bit dry but very tasty.

known for its square pizza, this multi-location family owned and operated restaurant has other good standard dishes, particularly the mussels and meatballs, with large portions, friendly staff, and extremely reasonable prices

Some of the best pizza out there. They turned the recipe upside down and its great. Their sauce is second to none. Service is always straightforward and efficient. I drive out of my way to get Santucci's pizza - sometimes way out of my way because its that good.

This place was recommended by a friend. The pizza was legit. The wings were also good. The Stromboli was the best I have ever had. Amazing friendly service as well. They even gave us a pizza to go on them.

Santucci’s is one of those places you probably don’t know about until someone in-the-know brings you, and you should hope they do, because it is a very special Philadelphia experience. It’s always tempting to forgo the white table cloth BYOB’s for a bottle of wine and square pizza from Santucci’s. The cozy, laid back atmosphere is great for couples & families alike – and you’ll see both. You’ll also see a mix of newcomers and old school locals, further proof that Santucci’s deserves a spot in Philly’s top 3 quality pizza spots.

Very good thick crusted pizza, I especially like the personal sized option. (White with spinach being my current favorite.) Also worth noting is the short rib sandwich with fontina cheese. Soups are excellent as are the burgers. Fresh well prepared food in a clean family friendly environment. This is a great spot if you want to do a casual sit down meal after time spent on 9th Street. Added bonus, Isgro's is right across 10th Street & is perfect for some post-dining sweets.

My wife and I have an early morning flight out of PHL. To make the morning more tolerable we booked a room at the airport. Knowing that our resort has 10 different restaurants...we also know it doesn't have pizza. So when it came to dinner we chose south Philly. We picked a pizza place we have not been before. Santucci"s Square Pizza by the Italian Market. We entered the restaurant and we were greeted warmly. Ordered a salad and a plain square pizza. The salad was fresh looking and tasty. What I might make at home. We both know pizza and looked forward to see what A square pizza was. It soon arrived. A good size pizza with a sauce topping covering the cheese. If you need lot's of gooey cheese this ain't your pizza. But if you enjoy an excellent sauce and a crispy flavorful crust. You will enjoy. Making the meal even more special was the personable service of our waitress. We will toast you tomorrow from Punta Cana. I am enjoying a cocktail in my room overlooking the airport. Our leftover slices will be enjoyed again. We enjoyed Santucci"s..You will also.

We had three things off the menu. The Santucci burger = 's FANTATIC! Huge meat patty, pesto, moz and roasted peppers. So much flavor! I am not much of a meat eater. This was recommended and I am ladi went for it. Perfectly grilled, juicy and flavorful. Served with sweet potato shoestring fries. Excellent Veggie Pizza ='s Very Good. Not AS good as Manco's on OC New Jersey but very, very good. lobster bisque was good. This is a reall south Philly vibe. Causal with nice entree choices. I will go again.

We went to the Broad street location. The Caesar salad was very good and the roasted garlic dressing was amazing. The house made ravioli was good and the marinara was okay. The pizza had a pretty thick and crunchy crust, which was okay, but not a personal preference. Fine for what it was. Cash only.

I went here with my mom and grandma to see an old family friend. They have good coffee. We each ate a cannoli. It was yummy!

Known as the home of the square pizza, I ordered the "large" pizza. It was very different from the start. It measured about 18 inches by 12 inches and 3/8 inches--not so square. The crust was somewhere between chewey and cardboard. The red but ultra mild sauce was spread on top of the cheese. The sweet Italian sausage topping had a little zing to it but consisted of 4 small morsel per 12 square inches of pzza surface--costs $15.50. I also ordered a Caesar Salad with the dressing on the side. The amount of lettuce was adequate and chilled. The sauce tasted like a thick garlic soup without a hint of anchovie. (Why restaurants serve salads called Caesar Salad and either not know how to make one or don't care, I guess I will never know.) The croutons were very, very lighted toasted bread cubes saturated with an oil--maybe olive??? The ambience is make believe Italian but the staff smiled a lot. Fearing disappointment, I did not try a desert.

Santucci's makes a great pizza - people step back for a second and say, "hey the sauce is on the top!" then they taste it and stop talking about the cheese on the bottom/ sauce on the top conundrum. I always thought they were just a pizza place with square pizzas. Then we went over there to eat. They have the most eclectic mix of specials - Italian, Middle-Eastern, whatever and a very interesting menu. If you want strict Italian, this is not your place. This is a pizza place with a mix of other stuff including huge, juicy burgers; filling and delicious sandwiches, yummy sweet potato fries...almost bar food...but there is no bar. If you go bring a bottle of wine with you and enjoy the good service, the comfortable dining room and the chatter of all the happy eaters all around you.

I liked the new building look, but the pizza was burned both times and the Italian food tasted blah. I've had Santucci pizza elsewhere and it was much better at the original one.

I am from NE PA and we have so many great pizza spots BUT on a whim, late night, we ordered a pizza to go. Got back to the room and opened the box and went "Oh", then proceeded to eat it and I could not stop saying "OH MY GOD". It was absolutely delicious. From the crust right down to the toppings. Their sausage is excellent. Its looks are different than what we are used to here, but the flavor of this pizza is addicting! Definitely go here. It is worth it and not too expensive either. Very friendly staff. I do plan on repeating my stay in the area as well as ordering from here again, no doubt!

Close friends took us there for dinner and we were blown away with the gigantic selection and extraordinary quality of everything we ordered. The garlic wings were the best we've had anywhere, the pizza was delicious and the garlic ribeye steak sandwich with provolone and broccoli rabe on toasted roll was out of this world! The servers are wonderful, great neighborhood hangout. Can't wait to go back!!!

Ordered almost $100.00 worth of pizza and salads for a group at my house. When we opened it, the Panzenella salad was nothing but bread. Really 90% chunks of bread! Also Farmers salad had no dressing with it. When I called the next day [was not going back that night, I had company} I was told, too late, nothing they could do. I still had both salads but Joe, the manager told me he had no intention of doing anything. Photo of salad below.

Had a birthday party here with 25 people and they were super accommodating from set up to service! Food was great and service was wonderful!

My family and another family went there while visiting Philly. We enjoyed a delicious veggie pizza. The service and ambiance are fine, and the price is very reasonable. I wasn't sure how the cheese underneath the sauce would be, and I loved it.

Great the Works pizza, chicken parm and Granny Smith Salad with just the right amount of dressing! The server was great and always kept our drinks full. Will be back again!

Great Square pizza, along with a full menu!!! Everything we had was delicious, including Bread pudding for dessert. A nice byob spot. Will def. go back.

I went to Santucci's as a recommendation from a local and it was worth it. The pizza is unique, very saucy and delicious. The short rib gravy fries were very good as well. Covered in pieces of short rib, gravy and provolone whiz. Make sure you bring your appetite as the portion is huge. Restaurant is cash only.

A great addition to the Bella Vista neighborhood is Santucci's square pizza. This is a staple pizza place in the NE section of Philly. Square, good dough, sauce on top. Good location at 10th Christian, its easy to find. Small tables with a open kitchen, good area to explore, its right next to the Italian Market running down 9th Street.

When I first saw the pizza, I was not impressed, the lack of cheese looked unappetizing. But this pizza is amaziing, it is not a lack of cheese, the cheese is under the sauce... surprise.... the crust is light and crisp, and the sauce is very tasty. We also ordered the Short Rib Gravy Fries..... yummy!!! We'll be back when we visit Philly again.

The food was delicious - for appetizers we had the short rib gravy fries w/ provolone whiz - (Really!) They were amazing - fries, tender beef, gravy and CHEESE! what more could you want. All our meals were very good. The portions were a nice size - we had leftovers. The place has a very cool vibe and the staff was friendly, especially for a busy Sunday brunch time. Remember though CASH ONLY!. No doubt we will return.

Ive eaten at santuccis countless times, and the pizza is always sooo good, delivery is fast, and this is one of my favorite pizza places in the city
Great Pizza
Great and totally affordable. It's "upside down" pizza meaning the cheese is on the bottom and the sauce is on top. It appears to be the latest outpost of this small Philly pizza chain. You don't find this kind of pizza just anywhere and they do it perfectly here. It's a comfortable, spotless place that's been open about a year. The menu has other options but the pizza is the best choice in my opinion. The location is good too. It's near the Italian Market. The only parking available is on-street.
