Fabulous Pho and Sushi

By Nancy D |

STOP in if visiting downtown Dallas. The food is incredible and the atmosphere is very inviting. A great place for a quick lunch.

Delicious Veggie Pho

By Kevin H |

Pictured is the "small bowl," clearly a generous serving. The broth is veggie too, so vegans may enjoy. Fresh vegetables lightly cooked; broccoli, carrot, purple cabbage, corn, onion with a good amount of cilantro, served with a side of lime, bean sprouts, and sliced fresh japeleno. The wait staff were super friendly, fast service, great attentiveness. The place feels good, like a neighborhood bar, with a good mix of old-world charm and new world modern.

Good service but very average food

This is the typical mass food Chinese/asian fusion type of place that you come away with thinking... Meh. Service is good and fast, but food is just plain boring and just to fill your stomach. So many better places downtown to choose from

Great service during the day, avoid late hours

Food is average here for Asian standard. I came in for lunch and received good service. Came back at 10:40pm to order pho noodle to go, the waitress was less than enthusiastic, understandable being so close to closing time. However, when i asked for extra fish sauce, she gave me an already mixed box telling me that's all they have. Hmmm, if you serve pho, you must know that raw fish sauce is a key condiment. What was more cruel if not the most cruelty was that I came back to my hotel room to only find out that the pho broth was cold. That alone would warrant 1 star. However, the lunch service was not bad, hence the 3 star.

What a disappointment! Reading the ratings of multiple apps… and then walking in to be ignored… I only got attention by going into the customer only bathroom…my wife was finally seated and not asked for her drink order judging by the many minutes I had to wait for the server to come ask for our drink orders… I asked for the spring rolls with pork… I asked for a cocktail and two waters with lemon… the first to finally arrive was the water no lemon! Then my cocktail finally we placed our meal order… the wife again asked for a pork… I ordered basil noodle with chicken… the spring rolls arrived shrimp not pork… a couple of lemons… then our meal shows up my wife’s not great… mine definitely had no basil… I finally waved down the waitress and asked what exactly my meal was? And she said it way chicken pad Thai, I said interesting I ordered basil noodle! The wife finished her meal before mine that definitely seemed smaller portion! Just to review what I did not order, the chicken pad Thai was the worse I have tried! Then the Basil noodle with chicken seemed very small portion… never received a reply like sorry… what a horrible experience will never come back!

Everything delicious

Dined whilst visiting Dallas - we shared the pork skewers, edamame, chicken dumpling & chicken spring roll for starters & sesame chicken for main. All the dishes were presented well & tasty. I had the moscow mule cocktail for my drink also. Service friendly.

This place is easy walking distance from several hotels. The good was good and the waitress was pleasant. Good late 90’s Rock playing too, STP, Nirvana etc.

LOVED it!

We arrived late on Thursday night after a cancelled flight at DFW. The Sapa House was a great introduction to the city! We ordered sushi, seaweed salad, pad thai, and the creme brulee. It was all very good, but the pad thai was especially tasty and a bargain for the serving size. Same for the creme brulee, which was incredible! It was much lighter than typical creme brulee. Try it!

Huge bowls of Pho for lunch

Having traveled through America, I was craving something other than American food for a change. Sapa house delivered- the biggest bowls of Pho came out- fresh and cheap. Highly recommend!

Good

Food is about half Vietnamese and half Japanese, you will find from sushi, pho to banh mi. Almost like a diner concept where you find a little bit of everything, in fact they also have Pad Thai. Food was good but nothing spectacular. I wonder if having a bunch of cuisines mixed in one place has anything to do with? I decided to come here based on all the great reviews. Maybe Im just picky since I live in NYC where we can find some authentic family owned home cooking places. Anyway, as I mentioned food was good, service was very friendly but a bit slow. I mean we were there for late lunch aside from us there was another table (maybe 2?). Our waitress took our order and believe it or not appetizers arrived before our drinks. Anyway, if you are looking for good, well priced place with friendly service this is your spot for sure 😊 Just don’t come here expecting some “OMG this is amazing” kinda reaction. Food – *Spring Roll *Fried Japanese Chicken *Egg Roll *Spicy Tuna Roll *Beef Pho *Vegetables Pho

Great experience

Great place to get some Pho, or any other Thai dish you desire! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is right in the heart of downtown Dallas, it’s not a far walk for many hotels and businesses. I will be returning in the future.

Great food!

Great food! Always has a fun vibe going on in the inside, and always seems to be pretty busy. The happy hour is awesome as well

Good Pho

I came here for pho and it was really good. Definitely worth checking out. The service was quick and friendly. I definitely will be coming back next time I'm in Dallas.

Great food, fast service.

We had a great experience for lunch. The food was fresh and hot, and came out quicker than we expected. My Sesame Chicken with Broccoli and Rice had great sesame flavor, and the chicken was tender. Hubby’s food was very flavorful. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. Would highly recommend it!

Terrific food

Snuck in here for an early lunch. By the time I left at 12:15, it was packed. The gals next to me raved about the Pho, as others have noted, it's huge and supertasty. I opted for the vermicilli and a salmon roll. I should have known better as both were enormous and I couldn't finish both dishes (although I really wanted to.) Wait staff were spot on. Food, deliciousl Enjoy!

Excellent!

The food here is outstanding! Everything we ordered was excellent - seaweed salad, edamame, pad thai, pho, bento box - there were a lot of us and it was all well-prepared and delicious. It's a local place that appears to be run by a family .and it is worth the stop.

Best egg rolls and sesame chicken I think I've ever had

By Michael S |

In town for business, co-workers decided take a bunch of us here for lunch. It was crazy busy, but the staff quickly got are medium sized group seated. I started out with an order of egg rolls which where just absolutely the best I have had in a long time. The dipping sauce was something special. I also got to sample the dumplings which again, were excellent with an equally tantalizing dipping sauce. I ordered the sesame chicken with white rice. It came served with lightly steamed broccoli. Over cooked broccoli can ruin a dish, but these were cooked just enough to not be raw, but still crunchy. YUM! The sesame chicken was so very good. I think I literately savored and celebrated each piece as I at it. Kudos to the staff for expertly handling a crazy busy lunch crowd. Very impressive .

Great, late night cheap eats

Seafood pho was delicious, filling, and fast. Small is large, fragrant. Fast service. Could use more seafood, however, less than three ounces.

Worth to check out.

Sapa House in Dallas is a hidden gem for those craving flavorful Vietnamese and Asian fusion dishes. The pho is rich and comforting, with a deep, savory broth that feels like a warm hug. Their vermicelli bowls and banh mi are fresh and packed with bold flavors, and the sushi selection is surprisingly good too. The ambiance is modern yet cozy, making it a great spot for both casual lunches and dinner outings. If you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food with a little extra variety, Sapa House is definitely worth checking out.

Good Pho

Very good Pho. Reasonable price. The serving is huge. The large Pho can feed 2. It's hard to find parking, though.
