Love the options

By Liz B |

This place offers mobile ordering, which makes life so much easier and smoother, but even wit ha long line it moves fast. Then you get to build your own bowl with better than theme park quality food. This is a must visit place for us. We've eaten here 3 times in 11 months, and we live a 3.5 hour flight away. I love the beef with potato hash and garlic cream sauce.

Best Meal of Our Week-long Disney Visit, A MUST VISIT

By Stardust86 |

Surprised to say this was hands-down the best meal of our trip - and we ate at several much more expensive Disney restaurants including Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Space 220. DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! lol My kiddo had the cheeseburger pod kids meal, and I got the Chimichurri-braised Beef bowl with noodles and the creamy herb dressing. We wound up splitting them because we both loved both meals. If I were to make a change to the food, I would prefer a bit more of the sauce, and none of the boba balls on it (they are easy to pick off, and I do see how they add to the look of the meal, I just hate their texture). The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse dessert was lovely too. You don't need to even have seen Avatar to enjoy this stop - the food does all the talking, but the atmosphere of the Pandora area is very cool too. This will be my go-to spot for any future visits to Animal Kingdom.

Adventurous quick meal!

By Mike from Rival Town |

Such a cool, tasty, adventurous meal! The Burger Pods were dry and a tad disappointing but everything else was fantastic! Go to Flame Tree BBQ if you want something more straight forward and less adventurous, very tasty there too.

Really tasty food, good for vegetarian

By Ronnie D |

Had the spicy crispy tofu, noodles and black bean sauce. Lovely tang in the mouth. We tried pretty much all the food and everything was great. Lots of seating, wheelchair access, good theming in the seating areas. Great!

Good food

By TucsonTraveller2 |

Went in the late afternoon for a dessert & soda. I ordered the Chocolate Cake($5.29) and it was very tasty. And a soda too($3.99) with free refills. The restaurant was large, you order your food, then move up to pick it up.

Food is alway great

By GoBlue |

Food is alway great we get the steak or chicken bowl with the noodles and the green onion dressing. One of the best places to eat at Disney quick service if not the best just different and very tasty. Nice place to sit down also but don’t try and sit there if not eating there they have it on lock down for sure they ask if you have a mobile order and want to see it. It wasn’t like this before the covid we never had a problem just walked in and ordered and sat and ate and relaxed. I am sure before long it will be the way it once was.

The prettiest dessert to enjoy!

By Mr_themeparkfan |

We stopped off in here in the evening specifically to try the "Ber'ri" Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse. It was exactly as pictured and tasted very fruity, a perfect sugar pick-me-up. We also tried the Pandoran Sunrise drink which was exceptionally sweet, a bit too much for my liking.

A little weird but very good

By Rich |

At first glance, the menu choices look strange. Of course they are! They are from a different world. Everything is really well prepared and really good. You chose a protein (chicken, beef, shrimp or vegetarian) then a base like salad or noodles then a dressing or sauce. The mobile ordering actually works better than ordering at the counter. And the desserts are super!

Excellent Quick Service

By Karen S |

Used Mobile Order very successfully here. The ent>re order for 7 people was done correctly. The build your own bowl choices were excellent. We will return on our next dat in Animal Kingdom.

The best Walt Disney World quick service

By My Magic moment |

This fast food on the theme of Avatar allows a real immersion in another world. We eat dishes with strange names, protein, pasta, balls that explode in the mouth in a Pandora atmosphere. A real change of scenery. I chose the Chimichurri Beef and chopped wood-grilled Chicken well seasoned and very good.

Innovative food that is delicious AND healthy!

By Lori T |

Based on the excellent reviews, we stopped here for lunch, and it was great! The food is innovative - perhaps even strange - in keeping with the Pandora environment. There is a great variety; we opted for the bowls. You pick your base (rice and beans, salad, or noodles), then pick your protein, then a sauce or dressing. I had sauteed shrimp on the salad, and I was amazed by the salad, which included crisp greens, chilled steamed broccoli, quinoa, and much more. There was a secret ingredient - bursting boba with a sweet spicy flavor. I wish I could get this salad locally! The canteen has both inside and outside seating and is decorated appropriately for Pandora. The food is very good value - $12.50 for the chicken bowl, $15 for the shrimp bowl. Highly recommend.

Customizable Goodness

By Jenny W |

It’s challenging to find a restaurant where a party of 10 at Disney can all be happy, but this place is a gem, with customizable meals, for noodle, rice, or salad lovers, with three dressings to choose from (they’ll do it on the side). In order of personal preference since I’ve now tried them all: Beef is tender and good. Chicken is really flavorful. Shrimp is really good, too. Tofu was the only one that disappointed, on the dry side.

Great food - and green beer!

By Tadeusz Z |

Wonderful cuisine at this quick service restaurant. The ambience, decorations and menu are excellent. And the green beer (Hawkes Grog Ale) is fantastic!

Great food!

By Carolyn A |

We used mobile ordering here to avoid the lines. The food was great, we preferred the chicken to the beef. The sangria was pretty good. We went back twice this trip and it is a nice break from some of the typical theme park food. Will definitely return

Steamed cheeseburger pods

By Went To America |

We were recommended this place after a lot of hype and reviews on various youtube and instagram pages so had high expectations. As recommended we went for the steamed cheeseburger pods and they definitely did not disappoint. Easily the best food available anywhere in Disney World. The theming as you would expect is also amazing; you do feel like you're on Pandora.

Satu'li Canteen

By Maria K |

We went there for lunch and it was so very good!!! this will be our to go to for lunch when visiting Pandora in Animal Kingdom!!!

Good value if on dining plan

By Sally S |

We had a quick service meal here. We shared the steak and chicken combo with noodles. It was very tasty. One point off as the beef was quite chewy. The chicken however was flavoursome and well cooked. Paying out of pocket is quite pricey but a good option if you are on the dining plan. We had the signature drink which was refreshing and tasty. Eating areas are clean and cool. Would recommend.

Tasty food. Bad atmosphere

By Traveler P |

While we did enjoy our food. Chicken Bowl with various choices. The bowl with sweet potato hash and black bean sauce narrowly beat the chicken bowl with herb dressing. Chicken bowl with noodles and herb dressing was less successful. The place is overcrowded and even though there is a section reserved for wheelchairs the staff allows unlimited people to accompany a single wheelchair. So 30 people without a chair and no needed seating for others. The balance of chairs are then strewn about the floor causing many problems with egress. An unorganized mess.

The Best Restaurant in Pandora

By Lynn M |

1/3rd of our party of 6 ate lunch here then all 6 of us came back for a snack mid-afternoon (4ish). Use mobile order here! Also great for allergy issues - especially gluten and dairy. The group that ate here for lunch ordered the Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl with lettuce base - this was for gluten and dairy allergy. It was great! We also ordered Combination Bowl Grilled Beef and Chicken with boba balls! Excellent. Then as a mid-afternoon snack share Cheeseburger Steamed Pods - Bao Buns and wash this down with Ilu Splash Margarita. Basically items are sharable and great for snacks. Nice to be able to sit. One way we got seats whenever we were in WDW on our vacation at quick service was to do what we call "high game poaching" - If all tables are full, our family members spread out watching for parties who are finishing up their meals. Then we kindly ask if they will be finishings soon, we make sure the parties know that we are not trying to hurry them, we just want to know if they might be leaving in the next 5 or 10 minutes. If they say yes, then we ask that they let us know right before they leave and we thank them over and over and then call all family members to the table and poach or move in and sit before table can be cleaned. Then we call over someone from the restaurant to clean the table. We used this method for 9 days in WDW during the most crowded time of the year, Christmas through New Years. As long as you are kind and genuine we feel that this method scores more tables at quick service not only in WDW but wherever we go as a family. Plus we usually make friends along the way. Peace!

Good eats

By Breter |

Pretty good eats. We used the mobile app to order and pick up the food which worked great. The Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl was great but next time no herb sauce. Others in my party ordered the Grilled Chicken Bowl which they liked. One ordered the Grilled Beef & Chicken Bowl which was just to much food for lunch.

Continues to serve very good comfort food

By bfg1943 |

Our family group visited Satu'li during our yearly Disney World visit (October 2019). Satu'li Canteen continues to serve very good comfort in an inviting atmosphere. We did not two(?) notable changes compared to our 2018 visit. Portion size was significantly reduced. If memory serves us correctly, pricing was also increased. We plan on re-visiting this restaurant during our next visit to Disney World.

Amazing food served at Satu’li

By Sarah Jayne |

Amazing food served at Satu’li Canteen. First you pick your protein (can highly recommend the beef) then pick your base and sauce. There is loads of allergy friendly choices here. We have picky eaters and a gluten allergy but the choices were endless for us which for a quick service meal is brilliant. The deserts are lovely and the colourful food is fun and the little Bobo balls are awesome little additions to the food. Highly recommended sting here and trying something different.

BEST PARK FOOD EVER!

By K8SAS |

Hands down, the best food I've ever had at a theme park! I was not feeling the typical "theme park food"-- burgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc. If you're looking for something light, fresh, and healthy, this is your spot! It's located in the far corner of Pandora-- past the rides and close to the gift shop. Satu'li is kind of like a Chipotle. You pick your meat, base, and dressing. The bowls also come with veggies and quinoa. The bowls were SO delicious! The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly. My hubby's tofu was also crunchy and flavorful! I felt so content after eating and could not stop saying "omg, this is so good for Park food!". Indoor and outdoor dining available. I highly recommend cleaning up after yourselves and little ones-- I saw so many families leave MOUNDS of trash and rice granules everywhere for the poor workers to clean up. I get it, you're on vacay, but this isn't a barn and take the extra two minutes to clean your area!

Not my taste

By Rebecca O |

Wanted to love this place cause the food looks so weird and reviews said it was the place to go. Well we ate outside and went in when our mobile order was ready. Ordered the cheeseburger steamed pod. Our plate had chip crumbs instead of chips. I wouldn’t eat this again. Ok to say you tried it.

Came here for lunch after

By star8sky |

Came here for lunch after reading recommendations online. Shared the beef bowl, and had a seasonal pumpkin mousse as well - both super yummy! And reasonable value.

Excellent food and ambiance.

By Pumpkinhome |

Loved our meals here. Best theme park food we had all of our vacation. Almost the best food we had anywhere! Seriously - eat here folks!

Loved the chicken & the dessert!

By Road Trippin Xie |

Decided to stop here on our way out. Seating is inside & some outside. Mobile ordered to avoid line. Got the chicken & beef bowl over a salad base with the green onion dressing on the side. Very much enjoyed it. The chicken was amazing. I def liked the chicken better than the beef but it was good as well. The dressing was great with the salad base. It also had a quinoa in it I’m not sure if I was fond of. The dessert was delicious. My husband was wary because of how brightly colored it was but it tasted phenomenal & was gobbled up quickly. My kids got the cheese quesadilla with house made veggie chips & enjoyed it.

🌲Favorite Place to Eat at Animal Kingdom🌲

By Casey C |

Every time I visit Animal Kingdom, I look forward to eating at Satu'li Canteen. Located next to Flight of Passage and the breath-taking Avatar land, Satu'li Canteen looks, smells, and tastes amazing. The inside resembles a museum-turned-restaurant, with curated artifacts, a high-ceiling roof, lots of Avatar Easter Eggs to the keen-eyed, and delicious food to make the stop worthwhile. While you dine, inspiring music from the film pipes through the speakers overhead. I'm a big fan of Asian-themed food, and happily found plenty of build-a-bowl, noodle-based goodness here. The Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl is my go-to. There are also plenty of options considerate of allergies, as well as a plant-based bowl. Don't skip the desserts! I won't spoil them here, but just prepare yourself for a variety of taste, texture, and sweetness. They're as lovely to look at as they are to eat. If you're going to splurge at a Disney restaurant, choose this one. Ride Flight of Passage first, then stop here for lunch. You can't beat that combination!

Quick Service - - Yes, but much better quality than expected for park food!

By JOY S |

My friend and I planned our Animal Kingdom day to have a late lunch and this was the perfect place! We did the Mobile Ordering during the Lion King show & clicked I'm here while walking down the pathway. 2 or 3 minutes after arriving, it was ready. We ordered a combo bowl & it was plenty for us to share. You eat in air-conditioned comfort which is very important in Florida in July! And you get real plates & flatware, not paper & plastic! She tried & liked the blueberry dessert & I enjoyed an adult beverage. This was the perfect meal for us!

Really good food

By STANsTrips |

The food was very good, I ordered the Combination Bowl. Tasted great. I give this place a big thumbs up.

Eat here!

By Ms.LoveTravel |

Forget about the rude employee at the door trying to force you into "mobile order", once inside there was not a single sole in line! Once we were past that abruption. We needed a little see and smell before we ordered. We decided to try the Smoked Chimichurri-braised Beef Smoked Chimichurri-braised Beef topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls served with on our choice of salad and a vinaigrette based sauce that is indescribable. My husband is not a fan of salads but he could not stop eating this one. A must try. Also a must try are the desserts! The one in a photo with a bite out of it is like a chocolate moose on the inside but the outer-side had a berry flavor to it. The other dessert was more of a lemon blueberry. I can not speak to the drinks as we needed to hydrate with water while here. This is a worthy casual stop and a must not miss it when at the Animal Kingdom park at Walt Disney World!

Different

By Cynthia G |

The food here is different but very tasty. The cheeseburger pod is delicious. We also had the blueberry cheesecake. I would recommend both.

Terrible customer service

By Elisa o |

We came here for lunch on July 27, Tuesday and everyone in our party is hungry and tired. We did the order through the mobile order app and waited outside the restaurant for our food to be ready. Once we received a mobile notification that our food is ready, we went in front of the restaurant where there were restaurant staff who wouldn’t let you in unless you show the mobile order in your phone app. As the battery power of my phone is almost drained, I did not open the mobile app but instead showed the mobile notification that appeared on my phone to the staff saying that our food is ready. I explained to the staff that I cannot open the app in my phone as my phone would turn off from losing power anytime soon and he kept asking bunch of questions that made things complicated and longer when he can just let us in since we have the notification that our food is ready and that I know the order number. In the end, he made things confusing and my children got more annoyed as we only wanted to get in the restaurant to escape from the strong heat of the sun and finally sit down and eat. The staff’s name is Andre or Andres and his manager, whose name is Doug, who was there the entire time and heard the conversation but did not step in and made the situation worst for without knowing the entire story. The questioning process of Andres is like they are dealing with people in the check point. I kept telling these guys that we have the notification that our food is ready and we have the order number but instead of providing customer service, they acted like security guards. These two do not embody the Disney World magical experience to guests and they should work as security personnel and not in the restaurant customer service environment. As a result of the experience, it made the mood of my children really terrible to the point that we did not enjoy anymore the rest of the day. Worst customer service from these two restaurant staff, Andre or Andres and Doug!!!

unexpected , quality food stop

By mike f |

Was not sure what to expect at first, warehouse sized counter service restaurant with huge number of tables all outside. The menu was a sort of pick and mix build your own but the tastes were completely unexpected. Looks like average fast food place but definitely not It has made it on to our list of places to eat at animal kingdom

Great food for allergens

By Pendragon |

We visited here three times on our trip to Disney, each time we visited Aimal Kingdom. The food choice was really good for someone with multiple food allergens, it was really good and tasty. The staff were very helpful with advice when asked. It was a better choice by far than many other food establishments in the Disney Parks for allergens. The prices were pretty good for theme park standards.

Disney Needs to Feature These Bowls at Other Parks

By PackUpNGoNow |

We recently had lunch at Satu'li Canteen at Animal Kingdom (Pandora - The World of Avatar). It was a nice lunch in an understated themed space with both indoor and outdoor seating. Although there is a lot of seating, at peak hours it gets crowded and lines are long (avoid lines by doing mobile ordering). We had three bowls: you choose a protein, base and sauce. We had the Smoked Chimichurri-braised Beef ($14.99) with black beans and rice with black bean vinaigrette (mild spice), the Chopped Wood Grilled Chicken Bowl ($13.49) with noodles (lo mein style noodles) and creamy herb dressing (no spice) and the Chili Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl ($13.49) with sweet potato hash and charred scallion vinaigrette (spicy). The beef and chicken were generous portions of chopped grilled meat served on the base with a drizzle of vinaigrette and garnished with boba balls (strange but it worked). The deep fried crispy tofu squares were surprisingly good. Park Admission: Animal Kingdom admission required Disney Mobile Food Ordering App: yes Annual Passholder Discount: no

Wild New Foods From Pandora!

By DarthDad07 |

We just had to try some food from Pandora! We tried the Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls, the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods and for dessert the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse. We also tried the Pandoran Sunrise drink. It all was very interesting and certainly wild looking, but we didn't care for the taste of the pods though. Just too odd for us. It was a worthwhile experience while checking out the Pandora area of Animal Kingdom.

Really tasty protein bowls

By Adam T |

This was a great place for dinner in Animal Kingdom. It wasn’t too busy and there was plenty of seating, and the food was really good. It’s also nice to find somewhere the does some vegetables in a way that’s integrated into the meal, particularly from a counter service place! We both had the chicken, but tried black beans and rice and the potato hash bases which were equally good. We’d definitely return here and would recommend it to anyone in the park.

Great spot to eat at a reasonable price

By PatW |

What a fun spot to eat. The top items are the bowls. Choose a base of mixed greens, potato, or noodles, then add a protein of steak, chicken, fish, or crispy tofu (and it tastes good). Finish with your choice of dressing, and it is a great and kinda healthy meal. For the kids, there are cheese burger pod sandwiches, and some smaller bowls. Don't forget to check out the decor of the place. It is almost a Pandora attraction.

Best food in animal kingdom

By Pete H |

Best food in animal kingdom, the blue mousse was unbelievable. Service was quick despite not using mobile order. Strongly recommend

hands down favorite vegan food in all WDW

By Lisa T |

I am still thinking about my sweet potato tofu bowl, amazing flavors and even tried to re-create once home, can't wait for next trip here will eat this three times in one day haha. great vegan choice.

Super worth getting into the atmosphere of the restaurant.

By Francisco Abreu |

Indeed! This place is too worth going when it sunsets in Pandora... The food is wonderful ( asked for a bow ) and the desserts also ... free refil. They are super detailed and indefectable in the dishes' presentations. fills you eyes and has beautiful colors, by the way.

Mix it up

By Grace J |

We mixed a variety of different textures and flavors for a meal. Not necessarily able to duplicate the concoction, but would gladly try again. Yum!

Chicken Bowl with Noodles

By Edwelsh |

Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl description copied from the menu is: Wood-Grilled Chicken Thighs marinated with Garlic and Olive Oil topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls served with your choice of Base and Sauce, we chose noodles. This was so good, one of the best dishes in all of the Walt Disney World parks. There was plenty of seating inside and out, we sat in the air conditioned inside. The staff was pleasant and helpful in dealing with the restrictions. Mobile ordering was a snap. Try it, you’ll like it.

Interesting menu-above average quick service

By KCLondonGirl |

This is technically a quick service restaurant within Animal Kingdom, but the food quality is a cut above and actually very reasonably priced. I would pay these prices in a regular restaurant. A “bowl” consists of a choice of protein (chicken, shrimp, etc.) and lettuce, rice, noodles etc. plus a sauce. The food quality is very good - and served in actual ceramic bowls with real cutlery. Nothing fancy but still a nice departure from what you might find at Magic Kingdom. This venue is more orderly than many quick service restaurants. There is plenty of seating available, and it’s usually very clean. From memory the price-range for a bowl is approx. $13.99 - $15.99. They also sell beer and wine, although that seemed kind of pricey - almost as much as the food. This is a good venue and a nice change, and also a healthy option.

No reservations necessary and tables to dine on

By evanses5 |

We loved this Restuarant. Great food that is interestingly presented. We were asked to sit. Go over virtual menu and then send one of our group to order. We were notified when food was ready for pick up. I made a mix and match salad and had this wonderful cheesecake like dessert. The dessert looked like a space delight! The atmosphere was exotic and charming. My new favorite at Animal Kingdom!

Odd but good

By PVonthemove |

We decided to give the Canteen a try and sure glad we did. The menu is odd, I’m sure this causes people to not try it, but we really enjoyed it. You have a choice of protein, chicken, beef, combo of chicken / beef, shrimp and tofu. You then pick a base, greens, noodles, black beans and rice. Then you pick a sauce from three choices (sorry, can’t remember). All your selections are served in a bowl, and are really good. There is plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating.

Super Food at a Disney Park? YEP!

By Chris R |

The Satu'li Canteen has one of the best dishes I have ever had at a park. The chicken bowl was superb - fresh and proper temperature! The eatery has available distanced seating both inside and outside. You must use their mobile system for ordering but it was easy to do and overall a great process. There were also plenty of staff to help if you had questions about ordering or the app.

Loved it

By Jenn |

We really enjoyed this place. They were several option and we were really unsure at first. So glad we tried it. It was Amazing!

Customise your plate

By louise j |

This was one of my favourite places to eat in the parks. The concept is simple, you choose a protein, a base and a sauce and mix it up any way you like to create a dish for you. The restaurant is quick service, so you can also have a yummy dreamwalker cocktail with your meal for free if you are on the plan. I loved the food so much I came back to try another combo. The variations are endless but the flavours are amazing, it’s also one of the healthier food options in the parks. Big hint: use mobile food order on the Disney app. The restaurant always has a queue but the mobile window is always quiet and you get your food immediately with no wait if you order on the app. If you sit outside you can also catch the street entertainment performing,

Tasty and unusual!

By Traveller |

So tasty and so different! Loved the Ocean Moon Bowl--how could you not, with that name! All the food looked so good and were so flavorful.

Brilliant Quick Service Food

By CarolineD |

The best quick service at Disney. The combination bowls are incredible value with decent protein. Really love the drinks and desserts here too. Set in Pandora, it’s wonderful to come here at night and soak up the ambience. Highly recommended.

I had hope hopes

By britta2mozart |

After listening to so many WDW podcasters rave about the food here, I had big expectations. I was so disappointed. It seems like the sauce you pick can really ruin the dish. My son and his girlfriend ordered a steak and rice/beans and chicken with rice/beans and no sauce. They liked their food. My husband ordered Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl and it was okay. The flavors were a little funky. My daughter ordered chicken over rice/beans with herb sauce. She hated the sauce. I ordered Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl with sweet potato hash. The tofu had no flavor but the hash was over seasoned. The sauce was horrible and I don't remember which one it was. Overall all of the food was just okay in our opinions.

slow roasted beef bowl is great

By Don P |

I had the slow roasted beef bowl with black beans and rice, and charred green onion vinegrette. It was very good, and definitely the best food in animal kingdom that I’ve experienced. Others with me enjoyed the chocolate cake and other bowls, which they said were very good. One had Beer that was green, the hawks grog ale and I had the reddish brown Moara High Country Ale. Will eat here again wen in animal kingdom. Food was served quick, and it’s close to the flight of passage ride.

Pandora Could Do Better

By mrleachie |

It was okay. Had the cheeseburger pods, they were tasty but very dry. Canteen's layout/system was pretty confusing too.

Wonderful quick eats

By CarolineD |

This is such a great quick service - in my opinion the best at WDW. I usually visit every trip. As usual, the protein bowl was filling and delicious and great value for money. The dessert is yummy and I always share it, same with the drink. The setting is wonderful and you can usually always get a seat. What can I say? It just makes me happy here. More places like this please, Disney. Only slight criticism is the beef used to be rare and this time it was medium. Bring back the rare beef!

Amazing food, reasonably priced

By Sandy D |

At first glance, the menu looks a little weird but they do have cheeseburgers also. We chose the chicken bowl, quesadilla and dough-wrapped hot dog. The food was delicious and reasonably priced! The Pandoran Sunrise (beverage) did not disappoint.

AMAZING!

By Barbara C |

The food here so soo good. Our family will definitely be back when we got to Animal Kingdom again. The set up of the restaurant was a little confusing, but the food was totally worth looking like a confused deer in headlights for a few seconds.

Great place to eat in AK!

By Tina W |

The bowls were awesome. I got the kid's cheese burger pod and while I liked them, I thought they were just ok. It was made better with the herb dressing for sure. I will try them again. It could have just been "one of those things." The food is healthy and interesting. There's a reason it's so popular.

Why did they change the bowls?!

By Rebecca Pfeil |

This was easily my favorite quick-service meal at Disney but why did they change the base options?! Bring back the rice by itself! I ordered the sweet potato base and it was not my favorite. My fiance wouldn't even help me finish it and he wasn't picky at all. We probably won't be returning unless they bring the original offerings back.

Some of the best QS options in Disney.

By CurrieD |

This restaurant is brilliantly themed just like the rest of the land in which it is situated. As fantastic as the whole of Animal Kingdom is, the theming of Pandora is a real triumph. The real beauty of the food in this place is in the combination bowls. The choice of base layer (salad/rice/noodles etc) and different proteins and sauces means you could go there for every meal of your holiday and have something slightly different. It also means you have a meal choice that is a very tasty break from your Disney 'theme park food'. As a family we tried a number of the combos on offer and we all enjoyed every single one. We also thought the Pandora Sunrise was a lovely drink choice with our meals and, when we ducked in to shelter from a thunder storm, we found the chocolate cake and blueberry mousse to be a great snack. And again, they look really cool!

Can’t Stay Away

By scrappymel |

Even on visits when we don’t plan to eat at Satu’li, we usually can’t resist stopping in for dessert. Right now you must order ahead on the MDE app before you can enter the restaurant. I prefer this as there’s no wait for food or a table once you’re inside.

Don't overlook

By 3lionsfan |

Our family is always looking for the dining option that has unique food choices or is an especially good value. We consider Satu'li in that category. The specialty is a bowl that you design with choice of base, protein and dressing. You place your order at the register and within several minutes your bowl is prepared and then you take it to the seating area. Protein choices are chicken, beef, mixed and tofu. Base choices include salad, rice and beans, and red potato/sweet potato hash. Three different dressings I believe. Ate here with my wife and daughter and all three of us loved our meal. As a side note: the bowls are served in real stoneware bowls with silverwear. This alone takes the meal up a notch in my book and seems more earth-friendly. Not so much going in the trash when you're done.

The best quick service meal in years

By Frank Q |

This was the best quick service meal I had at Dismey World in 7 days. You MUST eat here. It is an indoor restaurant so you’ll be away from the heat and humidity, and you’ll eat with silverware; not plastic. Our meals were delicious, and the portions were filling. This restaurant sits in front of Avatar.

Delicious Healthy Meal Choices!

By TreeKat |

Ate here while at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on Thursday, May 30th. I had the Wood-Charred Chicken Bowl and it was the most delicious meal I had while at Animal Kingdom. With their bowls, you choose your meat, base, and sauce. If you’re a vegetarian, they also have a tofu bowl as an option. All the adults in our group were very happy with their bowls. Only a few kid meals were offered and the kids in our group weren’t thrilled with the choices but they did have cheese quesadillas and the kids quickly scarfed them down. The dining room and patio is large and comfortable and a great wait to enjoy a healthy meal out of the hot summer sun too.

Amazing pasta dish

By Jon N |

Outstanding dishes, I wish I could have tried more of them, but I would eat the combination bowl all day every day. There was sooo much flavor in that it was amazing.

Healthier, Tasty Food Options at WDW

By Elle B |

This is one of our go-to restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom. We love that we can get a "real" meal here and not just fries and a burger (although they have a unique version of that). The flourless chocolate cake with raspberry filling and mango boba balls is out of this world. Seriously, if I could DoorDash it to my home over 300 miles away, I would. I also highly recommend the green onion vinaigrette -- even my family members who despise dressing will drizzle this atop their chicken. Plenty of seating, indoor and out. But I highly advise using the mobile order option so you don't have to wait too long to eat.

So good, we came back again!

By MarthaLHG |

I really wanted to try the cheeseburger pods as I'd heard rave reviews, but these are only available on the children's menu. The cast member was more than accommodating at ringing in an adult's portion of 2 pods on the Disney Dining Plan. We also tried the protein bowl with rice and shrimp and the chocolate cake and blueberry cream cheese mousse. A great place to eat with great surroundings and the all important air conditioning!

Quick bites for lunch

We had the chicken and beef bowls, and they were just the right amount for a quick lunch. Disney is great at organizing people, and their system of mobile ordering; then pickup; then directed to table really works well, imo. The bowls were meat (chicken or beef) with rice/beans as a base; except for my keto daughter who had chicken with lettuce as a base. They were tasty, and just the right amount of food for us.

Absolutely delicious

By Joanna |

We had the shrimp bowl and beef and chicken bowl with boba balls...sounded intriguing....absolutely delicious. So much so we came back twice to eat it again. Highly recommended.

Great place for a quick healthy stop.

By Daniel C |

Stop in wasn’t sure about this place. It was pleasant surprise. Has many healthy option. Don’t want noodles in your food bowl, you can get rice and black beans. The food was good and healthy. Very happy with my meal, the chicken and beef combo with rice and black beans.

Chipotle-Disney Style!

By Kdawg282 |

This was a great restaurant addition to Disney's Animal Kingdom and they added a Chipotle style bowl to your day. It was super busy but everything we had was excellent. One of the best counter service style meals at Disney!

Find you seat first before ordering your food

By Scotty M |

This place is basically the only place to eat at Animal Kingdom so its wise to find a place to seat first and then order your food. Food is decent and one can get refills with the drinks - something rather rare at a Disney property. So when visiting that park, it has become our go to place for a meal

Not bad but I wouldn't return

By Vistorx |

Was looking forward to trying this place because of all the positive reviews but it really wasn't that great. We tried a few different noodle bowls as well the Bao Buns. It was unique and tasted ok but I can't see myself ever eating there again on future Disney trip as Flame Tree BBQ or Yak and Yeti quick service are better options as far as I'm concerned.

Definitely worth a quick service credit

By Clive S |

This is a quick service restaurant located in the Pandora land. All the foods are fairly healthy based, no burgers or fries to be found here in the adults menu. It is based around chicken, beef, shrimp and tofu, with a base of salad, diced sweet potatoes, noodles( I think) and a sauce. Al the meats have a charcoal wood tang to them and were all delicious. The desert is a blue cream cheese desert. Some of the party liked it, some didn’t, it was a bit synthetic It was good sized portions and was very very filling. The sangria was a bit of a let down, but the others enjoyed the Pandoran sunrise. The eating area was a bit on the small side and we ended up in the outside heat, which spoiled the experience . I would go back

Casual and fast dining option with options for a healthy and tasty dish.

By Tom H |

This is a nice alternative for a quick meal while in the Avatar world. I had the wood grilled chicken and chili garlic shrimp on a bed of coleslaw with a tangy sauce. Pretty unique to be offered this healthy and delicious alternative at a casual restaurant in WDW. The line moved quickly. The restaurant was designed to look like the old beat-up, scarred, and institutional canteen left over from the avatar colonists. I sat outside so I could enjoy looking at the avatar world. It was very tasty with both the proteins tasting a bit unique and different.

Fresh and fast food at Animal Kingdom

By Melissa F |

I loved eating here. The food was so different and it tasted very fresh. I feel like this place is a real hidden gem.

Best Theme park quick service restaurant

By Isabelle-leesveel |

This is a good themed, kind of healthy, good in price quick service at Animal Kingdom Pandora. I was on the deluxe dining plan an used 2 pre order through the app. The food is tasteful, the plates are beautiful and the cast members very friendly. Don’t leave animal kingdom before you take some food and rest here.

Very Good!

By Caleb Diebold |

This is by far my most favorite Quick Service meal in all of the Disney parks! Amazing atmosphere, food, and drinks! I highly recommend.

Great bowls

By Edwelsh |

We ate here again to get one of the bowls. They are really quite good. I tried the colorful dessert, it was better looking than it tasted.

Do not get this shrimp pasta

By Theresa M |

The hot dog was very good the pasta is sour sour sour sour And that's all I can say The chocolate moose cake was excellent. The pineapple sunrise drink is excellent

Good, but lukewarm

By slpsomm |

Cheeseburger pods are pretty good. It was barely warm though. The chips are good. The coleslaw is tangy and we didn’t;’t care for it.

Total sleeper hit in AK!

By Megan A |

Dont take my word for it: go check this place out. So delicious! Quick service and plenty of seating in the air conditioning. My only complaint is the last time I got one of the bowls with beef, it was like a pot roast style meat. When I got the exact same order this past May it had thinly sliced steak. Bring back the steak!!!

Great food & experience

By Lee Ann B |

This was a GREAT option to eat in Animal Kingdom. An employee seen we were waiting for a seat with my father in a scooter and seated us right away in the shade which I appreciated. Food was ordered by an app & picked up in good time. It was delicious!!!

Great unique theme park food options with create your own bowls and cheeseburger pods

By Sightseer779040 |

This is a departure from traditional theme park food, and we enjoy that. While you will pay Disney park prices for premium food here, we think it is worth it. The create your own bowls are a great way to customize your order and add different things. These are large portions. They also offer cheeseburger bao pods that are quite tasty. First, place your mobile order while you are waiting in line for flight of passage or navi river journey. Then, go to Pongu Pongu right outside to get your night blossom as a drink (yum!), then pick up your mobile order right inside the canteen. There is indoor and outdoor seating. All cast members that I have encountered here are very friendly and helpful. The mobile order is a great way to skip the line, as you can also stand in a traditional line to order, but will take longer. Overall this place has great unique food as compared to anywhere else on Disney property or theme parks. I recommend you give it a try!

A Great Salad

By travlinmom1429 |

If you are tired of pizza, burgers and sandwiches, head here. The chicken salad bowl was excellent. Wish more of the Disney food venues had good salads.

Great dessert

By Laura B |

We were on the dining plan and ate here. I did use one of my snack credits on the dessert. The meal was alright but the sauce I didn’t care too much for the garlic sauce that the staff said most people found to be delicious. I got a sangria with my meal and that was very good. I just didn’t like that the beef wasn’t seasoned much and tasted bland to me. My daughter loved her meal. The dessert was phenomenal & if I return here it’ll be for their dessert.

OMG this is good

By Mike C |

I have scored this 5 stars because Trip Advisor won't allow a higher score You build your meal with your choice of protein and carbohydrate my party tried Combination Bowl: Grilled Beef & Chicken, Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl (truly exceptional) and Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl. All of these dishes come highly recommended. These three dishes were more than was required to fill up a family of 5. Amazing food at a terrific price within Pandora in the Animal Kingdom So good I went back 3 times

Great spot - personal preference on the food not great.

By Cat |

The canteen is a gem. It is air conditioned inside and the outdoor seating offered plenty of shade. I tried the cheeseburger steamed pods . Not a fan of the filling but it is personal preference. It didn’t taste like a cheeseburger for sure. Also, it was mostly bread. The Pandoran Sunrise (non- alcoholic beverage) was delicious! Real silverware was a plus. I would go again and try something different.

Great Place for Lunch

By jameslouie |

My wife and I knew we had reservations later for BOMA so we did not want to overeat at lunch. SATULI CANTEEN fit the bill perfectly. We had a chicken with beans and rice bowl which was really good.

Unique Theme Park Cuisine

By TrailTrekker15 |

We had lunch at Sa’tuli Canteen in the Pandora area of Animal Kingdom. We used the order ahead function and that worked well for us. Since the number of people at the restaurant was controlled, we were able to sit inside with no issues. The food was delicious and a good value. I had the shrimp and noodles dish which was very fresh and flavorful. It was a good portion considering how much walking we were doing. I’d definitely go here again when I’m at the park.

good dessert

By MeeMee |

We had the chili spiced crispy fried tofu bowl. It looked delicious, but it wasn't. The tofu was good, but the black beans were hard and there wasn't much flavor. The sauce that we added was made the food taste better. The blueberry cream cheese mousse was to die for. It is pretty and tasted heavenly.

Quick Bite!

By Faith501 |

Ordered the bowl with grilled chicken and the blueberry mousse. Very good. Indoor seating. Would recommend stopping here!

Poor Quality, Literally Thrown On The Plate!

By The Tail of Adventure |

Ate here quickly before the evening show. There are better eating places in Disney. I had the noodles with pulled chicken and when it came it looked like it had literally been thrown onto the plate, they obviously have not heard the expression 'you eat with your eyes' maybe that's why it was tasteless. Just because it is in Pandora Land doesn't mean it is going to be good. Tip - just ask for a cup and get water from the soda machine, saves wasting money on overpriced soda.

Do not recommend

By Meghan B |

My family and I did two rides and stopped here for breakfast. What a mistake. They offer a very limited menu but I will say they do have allergy friendly options. There were 10 of us that morning. Upon looking at the menu, 4 group members walked out and two others stayed but didn’t order. They offer only one type of cereal (fruit loops) which my kid despises. There weren’t any waffles or eggs or more generic/typical breakfast foods. I have allergies which they did note but one ingredient made it into my breakfast causing me to get sick and miss some rides (truly disappointed to have missed the safari with my family). It took 10 minutes just for my order to be entered and they forgot to give my daughter her chocolate milk. Within an hour of eating, two other group members were sick and one of them wasn’t able to go on any rides because of that. It was just a bad experience and I wouldn’t recommend eating here at all.

Previously great, now vastly over rated!

By Panglosian |

4 years ago this was one of the best places to eat (and I reviewed it such then). Sadly, as most good Disney things, they let it fall apart. Satu'li is no exception. The previously great bowls lost the quality they once had. It is no longer well balanced, nor cooked well or even hot (on our last visit, which is hard to believe with made to order -- FYI, the ABC Commissary (HS) is completely opposite, as they provided the hottest French fries we even had, with the Buffalo Chicken grill cheese which we can highly recommend). Satu'li is no longer worth the longer wait. The Flame tree BBQ returns as the better place to eat at AK. Also worth passing on is the Lumpia at Ponga Ponga (again use to be fantastic, but now barely cooked and cold).

Amazing tofu!

By Margaret |

I have been fortunate to visit WDW a few times since Pandora opened, and Satu’li Canteen quickly became my favorite dining option in Animal Kingdom. As a vegetarian, I always order some iteration of the tofu bowl. No exaggeration: this is is my favorite restaurant tofu ever. My meat eating family and friends have also given rave reviews of their chicken and beef bowls. I’ve seen lines get long for lunch, so definitely consider using the mobile app to order your meal in advance! I’ve never had any issues using this system.

A real triple threat. Great Food, Great People, Great Atmosphere.

By Kevin Ball |

So my wife and I had been to this restaurant in Animal Kingdom on our honeymoon and we really loved it so we had to come back. It's a quick service place and while it doesn't try to have a particularly unique approach to dining it plays out a lot like biergarten in the sense that you will probably find yourself sitting party style. And that's not bad, its just that popular. You have to make the best of it and get acquainted with your neighbors. Every inch of the place is Avatar themed and it extends to the menu and how the food is arranged. Check it out online for the nitty gritty but don't be scared. We were unsure when we sat down there on our first trip but if you take it by the base ingredients, its tasty and well worth it. This most recent trip made us love it all the more. The cast members deserve a shout out when they go above and beyond and this was no exception. A very kind man came by our table and offered to take our tray for us. But we all got to talking. Now neither my wife or I was wearing any of the pins this trip but he cared enough to ask us about ourselves and it came up that it was our anniversary. He told us to wait for a moment and not to leave. He excused himself and after about a few minutes he returned with a desert and two spoons for us to share. How can you put a price on this kind of memory? It will be one of those things we will never forget. I am only sorry we didn't get to take a photo with you sir! But Richie from New York, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts again, and we will never forget you.

Rude staff

By Mike J |

I usually look forward to eating here but this time I was stunned by how rude the staff were. The elderly lady at the entrance simply asked "what do you want?", when I said "food" and then ushered us in telling us to stay right. Staff inside were blunt. This was 10:40 in a Tuesday, and the canteen was very quiet. During this visit to Disney I've been shocked by how rude many staff are.

Such a deviation from standard theme park food and its amazing!

By Sightseer779040 |

We have visited here before and knew we had to return because it is so good and unique! You do HAVE to mobile order to even be let in to find a seat or to pick up your order. The cast members out front are very helpful in their directions about mobile order. We ordered two different create your own bowls and the cheeseburger pods. Also, go next door to pongu pongu to get the night blossom and bring it over as your drink. The amount of unique options here, especially with being able to create your own bowl is refreshing. We have only had great portions and high quality dishes here. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Just know the condiment and drink stations are inside if you are sitting outside.

Damn good theme park food

By Peteb99 |

Very good food. Had the wood fired chicken on rice and beans. Comes with a nice sauce and slaw. Wofe had it on salad. Good portion and healthy, fresh tasting. Very good mouse deserts and super cute. Chicken was a little dry but otherwise good.

Fast casual feel

By Lindsey Z |

The food was good. I had the cheeseburger pods and they needed sauce, but were still unique and fairly tasted. My husband had the shrimp bowl and it was all great. We shared the blueberry dessert and it was okay, definitely disappointing. We had a great experience and seriously thought about eating here again. However, we weren't in the area of the park again for our trip.

Experience with a lot of taste and that escapes standards

By WILLIAM S |

One of the best options in the park. Wonderful and fresh food. Combinations that go far from conventional. I just spit to remember. Makaron base with meat with chimichiri and herbal sauce. Hamburger in oriental pancakes made in the brasa.

Best counter service in Disney World

By Snot Finder |

Food is delicious and healthy. Also quite unique. My favorite quick service location in any of the parks.

Amazing Experience!

By SteelersGal85 |

We had an amazing experience here! I got the chicken with noodles and the herb sauce, husband got chicken with hash browns and herb sauce. Both were fantastic! The food was something different than anywhere else in the park which was refreshingly delicious. We will be heading back on our next trip!

Trying different style food

By Tom K |

Finally got a chance to try this place. Cheeseburger pods are awesome. Highly recommend! Kids enjoyed the cheeseburger pods also.

Worst meal we had at Disney.

By T K |

Probably won't try this place again. It was our least favorite of all the restaurants we visited. The sauce ruined everything. The choices that you can make for your bowl are great. The problem is that none of the sauce choices really match and it ends up very... unappetizing. The Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse seemed overrated. It was just alright. Our nephew absolutely loved it though.

AWESOME PANDORA FARE

By OnlyYum |

We loved our meals. If you want the typical, American deep fried burger stuff go somewhere else. Creative bowls--you pick a base either of rice and beans, or potato hash, or hearty salad, and then build your own bowl. I chose the sweet potato hash base with beef on top and the grilled onion dressing. Delicious and healthier than your typical amusement park fare. Our party of six was quickly through the line and waited just a few minutes for our order to come out. We found a seat easily (a party of 6!) and thoroughly enjoyed being "in" Pandora. Great stuff!

Way above typical theme park food

By Toweristops |

The kids and I ate here for lunch on our AK day and we were really glad we did. We were early enough to order without any lines too. There was plenty of seating in the air conditioning which on an August day was awesome. The theming in the restaurant does a great job of bringing the Pandora experience inside. The food came out quickly. The kids both had the chili-garlic shrimp bowl on noodles with the herb dressing. They both liked it but didn’t love the dressing and wish they had asked for it on the side. I had the grilled beef bowl on a salad base and it was excellent. The kids ordered dessert and one had the blueberry cream cheese mousse which they devoured as it was so light and tasty. Overall this is well worth a visit and a nice change from always eating at the Flame Tree.

Definitely recommend!!

By Bethany C |

Based in animal kingdom, Pandora (avatar). Amazing food! We all used 1 quick service credit for the meal, I had the combo bowl with rice and my friend had the chilli prawn with noodle bowl, both delicious! I also treated myself to the blueberry and passion fruit pudding (delicious)

Great food - something a bit different

By Sally62 |

Situated in World of Avatar, this offers something a bit different to the majority of the food on offer in the parks - bowl food. Very fresh and feels a bit healthy. Good sized portions and both indoor and outdoor seating. Would recommend.

The best food we’ve had in WDW!

By buntyboonakatie |

The best cheeseburger bao buns with slaw and boba! And we had the noodles with the black bean vinaigrette, which was perfect for us to share both! Hit our taste to a T! Deffo plan a visit and grab a Night Blossom after!

Tasty lunch venue

By Mezzabunk |

Different to the usual fare and good food for a quick service park location. Smaller portions than I remember but enough for lunch.

Outstanding flavors - not your typical theme park food

By Chris (Trip Tips with Chris) |

If you're looking for a quick, healthy and reasonably priced lunch option while at Animal Kingdom, I highly recommend Satu'li Canteen. It's located near the Avatar Flight of Passage attraction. The flavors of the food were exceptional and it's something different - not your standard theme park food. You can order on the WDW mobile app to reduce wait times and then enjoy your meal on their patio.

Good presentation

By Marisol E |

It was just okay. presentation was nice. What I enjoyed was the chicken bc it has the char broil grill aroma but other than that not much to it. Need to add some vegetables if this is supposed to be a healthy restaurant I would think

Ok for Disney

By belfastim |

Not bad for Disney. Still food is ok but refills are great and very very busy restaurant. Service moves and reasonable choice of food.

Amazing place to eat, hidden gem inside Animal Kingdom...delicious!

By lip89 |

This place came out of nowhere and I didn't even realize this place existed except walking out of Flight of Passage gift shop and you pass this huge structure looking like a cafeteria. I wondered what it was and found out it was a Pandora style restaurant. Interested, I decided to try it out. What a pleasant surprise, this place was delicious. It was sort of out of the ordinary food, mostly rice bowls loaded with all sorts of stuff like pork, sweet potato hash and beans and interesting slaw with of course pandora bubble berries on top. The drinks were amazing as well and really tasty concoctions or coconut and pineapple etc. I was blown away and definitely think aside from Yak and yeti, this place was the best in Animal Kingdom by far.

Fantastic

By John H |

What a surprise that this quick service restaurant in Animal Kingdom was so good! One of the better meals I had at Disney and at Disney prices, good value too.

Great option inside Animal Kingdom!!

By maria19732015 |

Located at Pandora , this is a hidden gem! They do have mobile order to easy the process. The restaurant offers different options like the noodles with vegetables and grilled chicken ( they are delicious!), and even the dishes are different from what was traditionaly offered at the parks before. The presentation of the food is good, and I would definitely eat there again when in my next visit to WDW.

Surprisingly tasty

By Zenlibrarian |

Not cheap, but tasty and healthy. Got a vegan bowl of delicious crispy tofu, potato hash, etc that hit the spot. My hubby found his meal pretty good too. Looking for a good lunch option? I recommend this one if you are on the go, before or after the flight of passage ride. I was especially impressed by the info card that the cashier pulled out for ensuring everything I ordered was vegan (my first choice of dressing surprisingly had fish sauce in it!)

We loved everything this restaurant offered - the food and the plates especially!

By Mary V |

Great food, wonderful options, a spacious seating area, and very interesting bowls to eat from - perfect to continue the Pandora ambience. I had a chicken salad equivalent though it was called something much more exotic. Lovely experience - I'd go back!!

Love the desserts!

By Kiara513734 |

Finding seating inside can be a challenge at times. There is more seating outside if you can't find one inside. We came here just for desert. We tried all three. The classic blueberry, the chocolate cake and the seasonal peppermint one. They were all delicious!

Busy but Good!

By Whitney |

My boyfriend and I ate here for lunch around 11:00 AM. It was super crowded, but we did a mobile order so we did not have to wait in line. We both got bowls. He got the grilled beef with noodles and I got the chicken with rice. He loved the little fruit balls it came with, but it was not favorite. It is kind of like a gusher, but not sugary. We did not try any of the fancy drinks, but they look just as good as person as they do in the pictures! We had to sit at one of the long tables where you sit with strangers which I was not bad, but I was looking for a little time just by myself so if you go at a busy time be prepared to sit with strangers if you're in a smaller group. There were large tables set aside for large groups. They aren't reserved, it just saws for parties of 6 or 8+. Overall, it is a nice place for a quick and healthy lunch. The decor is unique and well themed. If you are looking for a quiet place to eat though, this is not it.

Super good

By mellykayi |

Excellent choice for lunch or dinner. The bowls were all so tasty. Especially with the noodles and creamy sauce or vinaigrette. Very different flavors. The Boba pearls were such a tasty ingredient. Highly recommend

Delicious and different food

By Sally62 |

Something slightly different but really delicious food. I had the cheeseburger steamed pods which were delicious. others had the slow-roasted beef bowl and the meat looked so tender. Can't book but can order on the app at the door and you are called when your order is ready which works well. Would recommend.

Healthy

By cj001_7 |

Very tasty and about as healthy as Disney gets. We had various rice and noodle combinations and they were all tasty, and looked healthy considering the other options around. Nice tables with a bit of cover but letting the air in, which is needed in August temperatures.

Very good

By RO |

The food is quite delicious. They have a good terrace to be in the sun and a huge interior room with air conditioning.

Best place to eat in Animal Kingdom

By Ward D |

This restaurant is located in the Avatar portion of the park to the left of the entrance as you enter the park. As you enter the Avatar section it is off to the right hand side. I recommend using the Disney app to order ahead of time. IF not, you will be stopped by one of the cast members near the restaurant entrance and your order will be processed. I have eaten here several times and have always had an excellent meal. This restaurant is often busy and seating can be limited so go early and enjoy.

Delicious

By dm670 |

Although very crowded we were able to find a few tables as there was 13 of us. So glad we did. The food here was delicious. It is counter service and so many different choices of food. Fresh vegetables and meats and all delicious. Recommend!

Best quick service restaurant in Animal Kingdom

By ChristopherB76 |

This is the best quick service restaurant in Animal Kingdom, especially if you are looking for something other than the usual unhealthy theme park food. Here you can get delicious, healthy bowls where you select different ingredients (chicken, beef or shrimp). The Cheeseburger Steamed Pods taste just like a cheeseburger but are in bao bun format. For dessert or a sweet snack, the Blueberry Cream Cheese Mousse is tasty and very Instagrammable. The theming of the restaurant fits in perfectly with the Pandora area of the park in which it is located. The prices are quite reasonable too. It is on our list of places to grab a quick meal or snack each time we go to Animal Kingdom.

Amazing Desserts!

By Liz W |

We just stopped here for a snack and got both of the special desserts. They were delicious and I wish we could’ve gone back a second time. They were very busy but there was plenty of indoor seating, which was great on a hot day.

Lovely healthy meal

By Adam T |

The food range in Disney World has come on a lot in recent years, but this place is an epitome of excellent and yet healthy food in a theme park. Every protein bowl combination looks good, this time I enjoyed the chicken with rice and beans and a creamy dressing. If you’re ordering food, it’s a nice space to sit inside as well.

Great food & nice cast members

By maggie M |

I have eaten here several times over the last 2 years and the food is great. Also, the cast members working here have always been super pleasant and happy to help.

Eat here

By L18SUM |

Our family of two adults, a 10-year old and an 8-year old ate here one afternoon during our two week stay in Disney World. This is one of the better quick service places to eat with different food options from the normal fried chicken and burgers. It's also a lovely place to sit whether you are inside or outside. We ordered using the My Disney app which saved us time as we arrived, grabbed a table and collected our order when ready. We were on a dining plan and thought it was good value for money. Enjoy.

Quality Food

By Mary Jocelyn L |

We visited Satu'li Canteen last week Thursday (10/17) for lunch while at Animal Kingdom. We ordered the grilled chicken bowl and 2 kid's cheeseburger pods. The chicken bowl was simple, but delicious. My kids meal came with chips and 1 pod. My boys liked the cheeseburger pod, but it was very tiny. If they had given 2 pods, then this review would be 5 stars.

Can’t wait to try more

By latink |

We got the cheeseburger steam buns. Loved the veggie chips and Cole slaw. Buns were good. I would have liked a little more meat, less bun. Definitely on our list to return to.

Good choices

By bcaha |

The system for ordering before entry is a little unusual, but the food was pretty good. Great choices for kids. Once we ordered the food was ready quickly.

Pleasant Surprise!

By Beachgirl1963 |

We ate at this restaurant for lunch last week & all 4 of us enjoyed it! We used mobile ordering to get our food which worked out very well. It took a short amount of time to get our food. We tried two different bowls (shrimp & chicken) & we all liked what we had. The portion was a nice amount for lunch & it was very tasty. It also felt like a healthy choice. The restaurant is located in Pandora & the inside & outside of the restaurant stayed in theme. We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we visit Animal Kingdom.

Really good quick food option

By luckilee79 |

Definitely one of the better casual dining options at Disneyworld. The sound of the food may be off putting to some kids but once you break it down for them what is on offer, they’ll be surprised. The flexibility if you order via the app is great, you can add/remove many of the sauces etc to make the meal how you or the kids would like. We had the beef/chicken with the noodles and it was really fresh, tasty and filling. Such a wonderful change from all the rubbish you are offered at Disney. It’s a busy place but there are plenty of seats in and outside. I would thoroughly recommend this place if you can convince your kids it is worth the change from pizza and burgers.

One of the best Quick Service Spots in Disney

By AnnMayTravelling |

This is literally one of the best spots for a quick service meal in Disney in my opinion. The food was really, really good and the portion size very adequate to be a meal and not just a snack. I appreciate that they offer healthier food, not much fried items but vegetables and other healthier options. The prices are still ok for Disney as well. I can full heartedly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for a quick service meal in Animal Kingdom.

Great Place for Lunch in Animal Kingdom

By David D |

My wife and I flew in from St. Louis, checked in our resort, then hit Animal Kingdom. We didn't have any reservations because of the unknowns of travel days so we decided to stop in at Satu'li Canteen. I ordered the Slow-Roasted Sliced Grilled Beef Bowl and my wife ordered the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods. I will be honest, this is not normally my kind of food but it was very good and I enjoyed it. Flavor was great and the portion was pretty large. My wife enjoyed the Pods and said she would do them again, which is normally our ultimate test of if we like a place or not. I would recommend giving it a try. If your kids are picky eaters it might not be for them, but who knows.

Lovely food

By LolandKeir |

Really loved this place. For me, the best food out of all Disney and Universal. The mains offer something different (including Tofu) and the deserts are amazing. Only reason I have given four and not five is the size of the portions and I am probably being picky!!

Great lunch stop

By GiGi207 |

Great stop for lunch !! They require you to preorder and pay online before you seat yourself. A notification is sent back when your food is ready. Only then can you go inside to retrieve you food order. It was fast and efficient! The food was very good. I had chicken with rice and the hubby had shrimp with noodles. Both were fresh, hot and delicious!! The waitstaff were great and kept the tables clean.

The *shrug* emoji

By LaurenMReich |

I had high hopes for this because it seemed like a refreshing break from normal theme park food but it was just okay. Nothing was outstanding at all, it was truly just unremarkable. I tried to different sauces with my friend, the creamy herb dressing and the charred onion vinaigrette and they were both fine. The cheeseburger bun was tasty (and did remind me of a Big Mac), the non-alcoholic Pandoran Sunrise was refreshing and quite good, and my friend really enjoyed the blueberry cheese cake. I would probably give this place another chance if other people I was with wanted to go but if it is up to me I would be unlikely to go back.

So good!

By CISMANSPG |

Absolutely delicious! Kids liked the cheeseburger pods and the chicken dish I got was one of my favorite meals at Disney (and we ate at some very expensive nice places).

Looks Weird; Tastes Great!

By CryRain |

Was feeling hungry near the end of our park day after just a very early lunch at Rainforest Cafe earlier and grabbed the hamburger pod kid's meal (cheaper option than adult and still a very satisfying amount of food if you replace the Cuties with more chips) and one of those pick your protein/base/sauce meals. It was all delicious and definitely a unique and memorable meal we will think about for a long time. If we ever make another trek to WDW and Animal Kingdom, I'm skipping sit-down restaurants in that park altogether and just getting this.

We rope dropped for this dessert

By Ashley W |

We waited outside the doors for this place to open because we love this blueberry cream cheese mousse dessert! The passion fruit curd is tart and the blueberry is super flavorful and it has an incredibly interesting texture. I highly recommend this for dessert if you stop in here.

Good Food

By mykidsr1derful |

We really like the food here. A nice change from the typical theme park food of burgers and chicken nuggets. Food comes on real plates and it tastes really good. Plenty of seating inside and outside.

Best food in Disney at Animal Kingdom

Disney food tends to be BLeCH and eaten so as not to starve. Diners enter and order at registers, and then - find seating (inside or outside). Delicious and filling combination bowls (pick chicken, beef, shrimp, etc.) and pick rice/ noodles, etc. Loved the Boba balls (little bursts of liquid). This menu under $15. and saw 2-3 kids share the bowl. "Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl Wood-Grilled Chicken Thighs marinated with Garlic and Olive Oil topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls served with your choice of Base and Sauce". Self-serve water/ soda/ beverage bar. Kids' meals under $10. Five Stars because it was good food at Disney, and tasted like real restaurant food! Would eat here again, definitely. Large dining area in the World of Avatar, inside a/c, after waiting in that LONG HOT Avatar line.

Great Quick Bite Location

We grabbed a quick bite here while it was raining during the afternoon. Service was great, food was good. Great place to stop for lunch and/or quick service.

Tasty!

The bowls here are fantastic and filling. This is easily some of the best quick service dining on Disney property. The prices are pretty standard for quick service meals in the parks and it’s great value if on the dining plan (especially if you have a beer for your drink!) we ate here twice over two weeks and both times were great. Top tip - use mobile order to skip the queue. It can get long but the mobile ordering is quick and simple!

Different

We were excited to try this. It was good, not great, but good. Definitely plenty to eat, I can only recommend the chicken(that is what we had) The cheeseburger pod was compared to a Mcdonald's cheeseburger smashed into a ball. The chips were great. Better than the run of the meal food at most of the locations. If you are not that picky and want to try something new than this is a good option.

So good!!

We ate here for dinner and mobile ordered. Our food was ready in minutes and we got to skip the 30+ ppl in line and went straight to the mobile order counter. We ate outside and really enjoyed our meals. I ordered a beef bowl with greens and it was excellent. My son ordered a kids hot dog and it was a hit as well. I will def want to go back here for our next visit.

Loved it

The cheesecake looked so beautiful I didn’t want to eat it but of course I did and it was delicious. My husband had the cheeseburger pods and said they were delicious. Good place to stop and eat in Animal Kingdom.

quick service Avatar

right next to the Avatar ride there is plenty of seating, it is relatively quiet, the menu is good, the kids loved the bao. I recommend for a quick and efficient breakfast not expensive although everything is expensive at Disney...

Portion sizes shrunk in half

We've been coming for years, since they opened and the portion sizes are cut in half! Ridiculously small! But prices are raised. Skip here unless you like paying twice as much for half the food.

Great Dining Location at AK

By Ifty1987 |

We dined at this location twice during our recent visit to Animal Kingdom. Once for breakfast, and then again later in the day for lunch. The food was very nice and generously portioned - everything tasted fresh. The famous cheese burger bao buns were nice but needed the sauce that you get with the spring rolls in Magic Kingdom to take them to the next level. Overall, this is a great dining option if you're at Animal Kingdom.

Best Quick Service

By Craig C. |

I have to say that this was my favorite Quick Service option in any of the Disney World parks. If Satu'li Canteen had a location outside of Disney closer to where I live, I'd make it my lunch at least a few times a week. The Combination Bowl with Grilled Beef & Chicken was fantastic. You get to choose your base and sauce, and I chose the rice & black beans and the charred green onion vinaigrette. I highly recommend those choices, but I think another very tasty option is the red & sweet potato hash as a base - I may even recommend that over the rice & black beans. One thing that I thought made this dish quite unique was the addition of boba balls. I think they're certainly a good addition - they added a sweetness that made the bowl taste even better in my opinion. Awesome meal - if you're searching for lunch at Disney World, go out of your way to come here.

Interesting ... liked it

We ate the burger "pods" and the kids "hot dog" here. The pods were surprisingly very good, I was sure I would not like it. Also ordered the sangria and it was very boozy... just how I like them.

Top 5 worst meals I can remember.

By Stephen H |

Wife got chicken and salad base. The chicken was blackened and was fine. The tomatoes tasted terrible. The red beet/radish garnish was not good. The ranch dressing was too tart. I got shrimp and noodle bowl. None of the sauces paired well at all. The shrimp was tasty, but the noodles were not good. I had cut a piece of shrimp and them swirl the noodles around the shrimp to mask the flavor of the noodles. I mean, really, I’ve never had bad Asian noodles before. The slaw was acidic and way too sharp tasting. The boba balls were yummy. My wife and I really hated this $30 meal. The worst ever at Disney, and one of the worst in my 53 years on the planet. My wife is picky, I am not — still bad for both of us.

We stopped here in September to enjoy the blueberry cream cheese mousse. We paired it with a night blossom from pongu pongu drink stand. Very good combination. Great on a hot day!

overhyped

I know that cheeseburger pods are "a thing" that people on the internet and super Disney fans are obsessed with, but I didn't think they were that good. It's just a dumpling with the wrong kind of meat and seasoning in it. The beef/chicken bowls were good though.

Great lunch in Animal kingdom!

Huge portions in real bowls with real silver wear. Probably the only Disney quick serve that does not use paper plates and plastic forks. The food was tasty for the most part. I tried a cheeseburger pod that vloggers and bloggers had raved about and honestly. I would skip the cheeseburger pod and stick to the bowls. Plenty of searing inside and outside. Mobile order made it so easy. Really enjoyed the noodles.

Good Quick Service option in Pandora with Mobile Ordering

By Travelers4 |

Covered seating inside and out. Save time and take advantage of mobile ordering on the My Disney Experience App. We loved the children's Cheeseburger Steamed Pod. The vegetable chips and fresh grapes were a nice bonus with the meal.
