Went to Prime Steakhouse @ Bellagio. Mistake! Left and came here for my meal. The host/bartenders were friendly and let us pick our seat near the bar. It had a high-back, and a cozy closed-in feel to it. My wife and I loved it. My wife ate @ Prime, I didn't. Wanted an Italian dish, so I ordered Veal Parmigiana. It was unique with the bone left on. Unique, and am sure it made it more tender and delicious.

Wow! Just do it! This was a culinary experience! Even when you walk in your senses are pleased by the beautiful design and decor. The atmosphere is beautiful and upscale. They have a chefs pairing menu for $175 pp if you’re interested. They also have an extensive wine list and full bar. I had an espresso martini and it was delicious. I also had a glass of Pinot Grigio and it was amazing as well. Beware the lemonade had no refills so I paid $8 a piece for each one my son had! Let’s get to the food! They bring out a complimentary bread service and it was outstanding. My son said it’s the best bread service he’s ever had in any restaurant ever. There are several different types of bread served warm and cold and we loved it. For an appetizer we started with the raw oysters and they were phenomenal!!! The sauce they put on them was out of this world and we slurped up every drop!!! We then had the shrimp scampi! May be one of the best I’ve ever had in life. The pasta was deliciously delectable and freshly made and packed with flavor. We also had the branzino and I thought I was in a dream when the flavors exploded in my mouth. Soft and delicious on the inside and hot and perfectly crispy on the outside. Listen when I tell you that you do not to miss this spot. Entrees will run you about $50pp but when it’s this good it’s absolutely worth it. Oh and they brought my son a complimentary desert platter because it was his birthday and I thought that was a thoughtful surprise. We will definitely return!

Had a wonder dinner at this restaurant. Was hoping for a little better view of the Bellagio fountains but still nice ambience with a U shape booth. Two of the three of us could see the fountains. Waiters were attentive and explained any questions we had regarding the dinner and drinks. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. :)

My husband and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary at Scarpetta. We got a fountain view table. Our waiter was very attentive. The complimentary bread basket was really good and the spreads were tasty especially the eggplant spread. The food was flavorful, we loved it! We have no complaints. We will dine at Scarpetta again.

Scarpetta is located on the 3rd floor of the Cosmo amongst other high-end restaurants. The place identifies itself as New Italian. As we did not have a reservation, we were lucky to get one of several small circular tables in the bar area. They do offer a tasting menu, but the three of us decided to create our own. The calamari fritti was tender with a crispy crust and large enough for the 3 of us to enjoy. Our bartender said that the calamari was soaked in buttermilk before frying. Our three entrees were terrific. The deboned branzino had a perfect crust accompanied by raisins and toasted almonds. My friend said it was the best he’s ever had. The Kobe ribeye cap was very tender and cooked a perfect medium rare. The tagliolini ribbon pasta was freshly made, and it was served shrimp scampi style with a lemon butter sauce. And of course, tiramisu was the perfect ending to a great meal. Incidentally, the margaritas here were better than at most Mexican places. Highly recommend!

Stopped in for dinner with no reservation. They sat us in the bar at a table across from the bar. Out server was a bit green but was efficient. We had a buratta salad and beef carpaccio to start. The later was the best we’ve ever had. Our entrees were tagliatelle and agnolotti- both were good. Our only complaint would be that our food courses came too quickly.

Such an incredible dining experience. The atmosphere... the staff... the food... all absolutely incredible. We almost went to STK instead, Cosmopolitan's Steakhouse. But so glad we went to Scarpetta's instead.

We wanted a nice restaurant with a view of the Bellagio fountains. This place did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was excellent and the cost was affordable; especially compared to the other like options. I would definitely go back to try other dishes there.

We were there for a large group function and it didn't disappoint. We got to taste an array of dishes and not a single one could be faulted. The ravioli was well cooked and the flavours were perfect. I ordered the beef and it was seated to perfection. Then when we didn't think it could get any better they brought the desserts out - definitely the course of the night! The Nutella donut balls were simple but delicious, the chocolate fondant just melted in the mouth and the cheesecake with as so smooth and creamy! However the part that stood out to us all was the flavours of the ice creams finishing off each dish - I will be dreaming of them for weeks! Thanks for a delightful evening of fine dining!!!

Great restaurant. Food and service was outstanding, as always. Calamari appetizer and spaghetti were fantastic. Must visit when in Vegas.

Friendly wonderful hostess Nancy 1 ... seated us in private dining room for a memorable delicious dinner of hand made pasta, yummy sauces and spectacular desserts all with a view into the kitchen and Bellagio foundation.

Buon appetito!! This is what I expect of a five star restaurant. We booked well in advance of our trip and got a great table near the window, overlooking the Bellagio fountain. The food was delicious and the service was extremely attentive. The waiter was very knowledgeable about their offerings/dishes - even cautioning me that my choice was very salty; to ensure I would not be surprised. Located in the Cosmopolitan, be sure to pregame your meal with a decadent cocktail in the Chandelier bar. Although some were casually dressed, it is a great place to go for a special occasion or a very nice meal, with an upscale ambiance making it a memorable experience. No food pics but below is a photo from our table.

Went with friends for dinner here. Nice service with plenty of seating at this Cosmopolitan restaurant. We shared the caprese salad, Caesar salad and the beef carpaccio - for our meals we shared a couple of pasta dishes- a yummy shrimp pasta and an orechiatte pasta dish. Rich & flavorful. Hit the spot! A good dinner overall.

Excellent meal. Service was top notch. Management is very hands on. Highly recommend. We will return. Best to have reservations. Great wine list.

Such a unique, special occasion at the chef’s table. All of the staff was so gracious and chef Michael was superb! The portions were huge, the food was amazing, and a great view to top it off. We’ll definitely return.

Dinner was delicious! The views of the Fountains and the strip were amazing. Loved the bartenders and their drinks.

We had the best time at Scarpetta even though we were a bit rushed in order to get to a show. We decided to wait at the bar and have a drink so we could get a table by the window. I had a vodka martini but subbed the garlic olives for blue cheese olives at the recommendation of the bartender. You should do this. They were to DIE for. The hostess was amazing. She kept us updated on the status of the table the entire time. Once we sat down we were so glad we waited for the view of the fountains. It was so romantic and perfectly vegas. And the food was AMAZING. We didn't have time for appies but the bread basket was fresh and tasty. We had the Agnolotti and the Duck Ravioli. No words. We wished we had time to try more and enjoy the view. Our server was very nice as well. 5/5.

Our reservation for 830 pm was honored right on time, we were seated immediately upon arrival. Let the hostess know if you are celebrating an occasion or have food allergies at time of your reservation. We had an amazing night, our server made me give this place 5 stars. Our meal started our with warm bread service, one of the best olive oil I have had in a while with eggplant tapenade. The serve brought us two wine samples to try out to see which taste better. Burrata and Tomatoes - Have the server split your salad, it was delicious Spinach and Ricotta Pasta in Butter Sage Sauce - Recommended Red Quinoa with Vegetables - Perfect for Vegetarians ( Recommend the chef not use big chunks of Broccoli ) My drink was super strong 💪😂 Recommend for a couples or family dinner who want a relaxed time

Frankly, it was a disappointment; the place is fine with an excellent view of the Bellagio fountains, but the space to move around is limited and uncomfortable due to columns in the way and the arrangement of tables. The decor is nothing special but not bad either. The food was quite mediocre, and it was unpleasant that the waiter gave the impression of disapproval when we didn't order alcoholic drinks, which bothered us from the moment we sat down. One of the few restaurants at The Cosmopolitan that we hadn't tried yet, and I wouldn't recommend it; there are better options.

Great food! Wonderful atmosphere, service was outstanding!! Definitely will come back!! We had the best experience of a lifetime there. Could not ask for more!!

Excellent food, great service and wonderful ambience. The pasta for two is so simple but perhaps the most incredible basic real tomato sauce (and pasta, actually from Sicily) I’ve ever had. Thomas did an excellent job finishing it at our table and explaining the dish. Ron was everything you would expect - warm, friendly, engaging but not pushing. The desserts (lemon cheesecake, chocolate cake and budino) were even better than dinner. One of the most memorable family meals we’ve ever had.

We had a lovely dinner here. Great environment and if you can, get the table overlooking the fountains at the Bellagio. Very nice to see those while eating dinner. The food was very well done and full of flavor. Our server provided outstanding service. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this place and look forward to returning. We ate an earlier dinner which probably helped so it was full without that overcrowded noisy feeling you can get at some restaurants. Highly recommended!

Excellent food with fantastic views. We had a very nice business dinner here. My only complaint was the server could have been a bit friendlier. The Chilean sea bass was great, the bread basket was unbelievable with 5 different types of bread.

Lovely ambience with view of the Bellagio fountains. David B was our waiter and did a fantastic job. We were on a time limit due to a show after dinner and David made sure we had a wonderful time, were not rushed while finishing in plenty of time. Food was fabulous!!

Stayed at the Cosmo and ate here on our first night. It’s rather fancy, but not fine dining Good service from start to the end The scampi pasta very good, tuna tartare , steak and chocolate dessert (ice cream too frozen) ok 7/10

I ordered a nightly special - osso buco- and my spouse the branzino stuffed with chard. The osso buco was tough and lacked a lot of flavor, and came with mashed potatoes rather than the traditional polenta or couscous. The branzino was good, with a superb presentation, but the chard stuffing was poor - too many different flavors (and nothing like fresh chard which she was hoping for). We came here well before our show, and wanted to take our time with dinner and let the waiters know to space out the courses. The salad came within a minute of ordering, at which time we alerted the waiter and helper again of our desire to take our time. We barely finished the salad when the entrees showed up! The wine list was good, but pricing was a bit higher than necessary (generally 3+ times retail pricing). Not as many wines by the glass as we might have hoped for. Ambiance and the servers were very nice.

I'm not sure what the hype is all about here. We booked for our 7yr wedding anniversary to have a nice dinner while in town, and it so happened to be on a Tuesday when they give you a free bottle of wine. The food was ok but definitely not worth the price tag. I have a gluten allergy and noted this in our reservation as well as mentioned it to the waiter. He gave me the gluten free menu which I ordered off of and made sure obviously not to partake in the bread and there was still contamination and I was miserable for the rest of the evening. The view is only good if you're in the tables right against the glass, other tables you really can't see the fountains. Won't be back the next time we come to vegas (which we come every year).

We made a reservation at Scarpetta on Sunday 22 October 23 to celebrate our wedding. We were a party of 6 and asked for a table that overlooked the Bellagio Fountains. Well, what a fabulous experience, we were placed in a private dining room which overlooked the fountains. The food and the service were exceptional. Thank you so much Scarpetta for making our wedding celebration so special and for going above and beyond our expectations.

Everything was wonderful! The servers were fabulous and the food was perfect. We split the short rib agnolotti for a starter and then my husband had the filet, I had the black cod. The agnolotti had the perfect amount of crunch from the bread crumbs. The filet was cooked perfectly and my cod had a beautiful crispy skin and wonderful sauce. We went with the coconut panna cotta for dessert. It was huge! A really light coconut flavor that went great with the tropical fruit and cookie on top. Would highly recommend, we’re already talking about if we need to go back one more time before this trip is over. :)

Here for an early supper before a hockey game at the T-Mobile, after hearing good things about the place. We mentioned our hockey game plan to our server (Burke, I think?), who gave us a timing plan, and assured us he’d move the food along as appropriate. Since it was relatively early, we asked to share a Spaghetti with Basil - which was accommodated very happily, and presented attractively. Perfectly al dente, with a lovely, rich tomato sauce. Having just a glass of wine with the meal, we were running low on it without having seen the main course. Burke readily gave us a refill and a promise to get our mains in front of us. I ordered the Salmon, which was a good size and perfectly cooked, sitting on a bed of potato purée and braised leeks. The Sautéed Broccoli was prepared perfectly and a significant enhancement to the meal. Overall, an average culinary experience made better by the quality of our server. Nonetheless, I’d be happy to return for a later evening booking and a windowside view of the Bellagio fountains.

Started off our anniversary trip with dinner at Scarpetta and it was the perfect meal to get the trip started. Fresh ingredients, incredible pasta, and good drinks. Highly recommend the Hot Honey Margarita. Our meal was also highlighted by great service from Luis. Great night all the way around.

This review is long overdue. Reviews are time-consuming, for that reason, I don't write many. I'm usually motivated to write when I absolutely hate the food and/or srvc. But I must write one for Scarpetta. We frequent the Scarpetta at the Montage in Beverly Hills until they closed. Toured the kitchen. But we kept missing Scott. I'm critical when it comes to food. I learned of Scarpetta by watching our fav cooking show, Chopped. Purchased the Scarpetta Cookbook I will just mention a few faves that I make Stromboli: A homemade dough rolled around imported thin salami, smoked mozzarella & fresh basil, & rosemary.Basket consists of stromboli, ciabattini, focaccia, with mascarpone butter, caponata, and citrus herb oil. Very generous Mushroom fricassee with creamy polenta: This is a exemplary Scarpetta dish if you like mushrooms..mixed domestic & wild mushrooms. The mushrooms and their cooking juices is presented in a tiny saucepan, then spooned over a bowl of their creamy polenta. Important to use coarsely ground cornmeal, imported Italian polenta called Bramata. Spaghetti with tomato sauce: It looks simple but don't let that fool you. Scott is serious when it comes to his spaghetti. It's this dish that brought us to Scarpetta. I add spicy Italian sausage for my husband if he wants meat. Be your own judge and just try Scarpetta if you love Italian food. (Ok I best submit this review before I lose my review again. I would have given up but Scarpetta is worth re-composing my review)

Great ambiance and the food was delicious. Their pasta is fantastic and not overly priced ($26-$40). Try to get a window seat and you won’t regret the view while you eat. Unlike some of the other restaurants in the Cosmo, the music is not loud and you can actually have a conversation while you dine. We will return.

I came to Vegas with a friend and we just happened to find this spot for dinner before heading to the Chandelier. We both had the tagliatelle and it was amazing. Not only that, but they brought out a variety of delicious breads before our meal which we didn't expect. We also enjoyed our cocktails and a great view of the Bellagio fountains. This was such a wonderful meal and a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend!

This place is absolutely top notch. The service is perfect; very attentive, friendly, and helpful wait staff. The ambience is perfect for a date - vibrant but not loud. And best of all is the food. Every dish we had was five stars, and I think these were the best oysters I’ve ever had. Definitely check out this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

First class service. First class food. First class wine list. The setting was a lovely way to spend an evening with the family. It is an upmarket establishment and it is well worth the extra dollars. From start to finish, cannot be faulted. We were looked after like royalty.

Scarpetta at The Cosmopolitan is FANTASTIC! I came in expecting it to be good, from previous reviews, but did not expect it to be one of the best meals I have ever had. Even the complimentary bread service was wonderful! We had the short rib arancini to start, which was delightful. I had the shrimp scampi pasta and my husband had the ragu pasta (I forget the name), both were SO GOOD. I'm a pasta lover and this was great, fresh pasta. We finished up sharing the tiramisu (it's huge) and they (maybe accidentally) didn't charge me for a cappuccino with it - don't judge, I was exhausted after a day in Vegas! All in all, one of the best meals I have had and was actually super reasonably priced for the portion size and quality, especially in Vegas. 11/10 would recommend and we will return!

Very nice place with a view of the Bellagio fountains. The menu had a very nice variety of classic and more modern Italian appetizers and entrees. All four of us were very impressed with the food and the service.

It's not hard to eat well at one of these restaurants on the Strip, but at Scarpetta we had a wonderful time. A great pasta dish after 10 days here in America! The perfect seconds, but the icing on the cake were the desserts... crazy! Obviously here the prices are far above average but, in this case, it's worth it!!

The best meal we had at the Cosmopolitan. The food here is fantastic, from the bread to the dessert. It's hard to find good calamari because it generally comes out tough. Not at Scarpetta. It was perfect. The Moscado was some of the best I've ever had. I believe Burke was our server and he and his support team took good care of us. They were attentive without being intrusive. The vibe was intimate and it's one of the few places at The Cosmopolitan that isn't blasting music so loud that you can't enjoy a dinner conversation. Get a window seat for an amazing view while you're eating. We enjoyed the food here so much that we can't wait to go back.

Just finished dinner at Scarpetta. The food was decent as was the service. Nothing was truly excellent except for the beet salad starter...which was out of this world. My veal chop "parm" was just OK as was the mushroom side dish. As I was dining solo, I sat at the bar. Service was decent...but again...not excellent. Nothing about my experience would make me rate Scarpetta as one of the top 10 Italian restaurants in Vegas. It was good but not more than that. In the end, I gave Scarpetta four stars even though it was really three and a half. Trip Advisor does not allow half stars so I averaged up to four even though my experience was not four stars.

Service was fantastic and our waiter recommended the best dishes. We started off with the octopus appetizer which was incredible! Our entrees, the homemade spaghetti (meatballs added) and the agnolotti pasta dishes, were both delicious as well! The sommelier also recommended a wonderful wine that we really enjoyed with our meal.

Was excited to visit Scarpetta. The restaurant is dark and sexy. We were seated at a large round table with a slight view of the fountains. Started with a cocktail called Romance Language - delicious! Others like their cocktails as well. Starters included calamari, truffle polenta and beet salad. The calamari and polenta were just ok and needed more seasoning. The beet salad was beautiful and quite good. Our server was attentive but when he learned we were planning to just order pasta and not second courses, it felt like he became less interested in us. The pastas were all good, although some also thought they lacked salt. After having a late lunch, we had no room for dessert. We enjoyed much of our meal and the ambiance but with all the great choices in Vegas, will probably not return.

Having dined at nearly every fine dining establishment on the Las Vegas Strip, I can state with certainty, that Scarpetta is worth a dinner. We've spent 10 times more at other places without justification. Entrés (first courses), main dishes, and wine were all extremely reasonably priced. We asked for a table at the window to gain the best view of the next door Bellagio fountain "ballet". We lucked out. We were greeted with a basket of warm breads with seasoned olive oil and tomato tapenade. Nice touch. The ambiance was warm and inviting modern Italian, and the service was gracious. The Ravioli of truffle, ricotta, truffle butter, and sage ($15) was divine, especially at that price! A perfect entré to our meal, accompanied by a perfectly made-to-order Kir Royal and Martini. Where else can you order a main course for under $30 while watching the fountain show! The Agnolotti with braised short rib ($26) was so filling and delicious. The Chicken Parmigiana ($45) was really quite nice, and needed nothing more than the thin bed of mashed potatoes upon which it was served. A nice bottle of Sancerre to accompany our meal was perfect. The complimentary plate of sweets made a nice ending to an excellent dining experience.

We started our dinner with the half dozen oysters. They were perfect. I had the Agnolotti. The flavors were amazing and the pasta was so fresh! My wife had the Lobster Risotto and always enjoyed hers. Although the risotto was a little too al dente for her taste. But overall the night was very nice!

We absolutely loved Scarpetta! From the food, to the drinks, ambiance and service, this place is fantastic! The vibe is very mellow and romantic and our meals were exceptional. Everyone was so kind here and made sure to create a wonderful experience. I also liked that it was away from the chaos of the strip yet steps away.

we arrived 20 minutes early and the hostess was very nice and agreed to seat us, a nice view, we could see the fountains. For a Saturday night, it was full, and I understand because the food was good. a neat presentation. the downside, there are only two toilets for the restaurant.

Nice interior and ambiance, mid-week so it was quiet and we were sat quickly. We had a seat next to the window and could see the Bellagio fountain. My wife started with the carpaccio and it was huge! Great flavor too. I had the calamari and it was ok, can be had anywhere. We both had pasta dishes, wife had spaghetti which was good but my ravioli was awesome. For main’s we had scallops and duck, both good dishes but the duck was better. The waiter did recommend we both get an appy, pasta, and main but it was too much food. I suppose that is a good problem to have but it is not inexpensive and I would have been happy with just an appy and paste OR main. Recommended, it was a good experience overall.

The evening at Scarpetti was memorable, we were a party of four and we didn't have a reservation but they had a booth opposite the bar which was available. We all had pasta dishes which were superb, and the bread basket and dips were lovely. Our server was friendly and made sure everything was ok throughout. If we come back to Vegas as a couple we are going to book a table and have a celebratory anniversary meal here. We were staying at The Cosmopolitan for a week and found this a stand out restaurant and meal.

We were celebrating our anniversary and we were so excited. We got a fountains table but there were not any shows due to the wind advisory. Disappointing but can’t be helped. Our server was amazing and very attentive. We did feel somewhat rushed. All our dishes came out quickly. The food was very good but not excellent. The bread service is very tasty. We unfortunately would not recommend. Many choices in Vegas.

Amazing experience. The food was incredible and the staff were amazing. Thanks so much for making our night so special for our honeymoon!

We have been coming to Vegas multiple times a year for 30 years and really enjoy the variety of restaurants. During the last few visits we decided to try some new places recommended by the hotel concierge. We ate here last month, and it was so good that when we came back here for a business trip this month, we made sure to dine here again. The service and food are fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy and romantic. Last time, we had the tasting menu and so this time we ordered our favorites. We split the scallops for an appetizer, which were just as delicious as last time. I had the short rib agnolotti, and my husband had the spaghetti with the homemade sauce. Both were outstanding and I will order it all again the next time we are there! Michael and his team were our servers, and they did a wonderful job taking care of us. The hostess team was also very friendly and welcoming. We will be back - thank you!

Had a group business dinner here and thought the food was fantastic. Got to try a lot of different things as it was family style. It was a dark and intimate atmosphere so not exactly ideal for a business dinner but it worked for us. Great for a date night though. The things I remembered that I liked were the duck and foie gras ravioli, spaghetti, and the filet. Service was great.

We visited this restaurant whilst staying in The Cosmopolitan Hotel and it is a truly delicious experience- all of the staff were friendly and very helpful. We made our choices and we’re not disappointed in any way and it was indeed the finest presentation of each course served not forgetting of course the taste which was delightful. We would both say this was the finest food experience in Vegas and the prices were not ridiculous- They bought me a birthday dessert as the visit was part of my birthday celebrations - Thank you to everyone at Scarpetta for such an enjoyable experience - highly recommended

Look, this is still a high end restaurant with a more than acceptable meal. But don’t expect this to be the Scarpetta experience you’re used to if you’ve ever been to another location. We are die-hard fans of the NYC locations and go many times throughout the year. This was not that. I should have known better than to go to the Cosmo and expect more. But my hopes were high and unfortunately I was wrong. The menu doesn’t feature the normal highlights we have grown accustomed to. The execution is lacking. The food was mediocre at best. Our server was extremely pleasant but the delivery was flat and untimed. Plates were just dumped in front of us - salads and appetizers at the same time. There was no timing to the meal. The cannelloni served with the chicken entree was inedible. There’s so many better places to go at this price point. Go elsewhere

The server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The service was excellent and good came out fast! The fresh bread basket was amazing. I had the prawn scampi and my husband had the gnocchi. The pasta was made in house and we both thought the food was excellent. The atmosphere is really nice too.

I was looking up Italian places by Bellagio where I was staying at and this was one of the places that popped up on Google Maps. Was worth it. Food and service were excellent and yes, it is a tad bit pricey. The breads and the three toppings for the breads were pretty good. Our server was very nice and recommended some yummy sounding dishes. I decided on the duck and fois gras ravioli. Loved it, but was a bit on the salty side. I ordered for my mom their signature spaghetti and she loved it. She usually is very picky with pasta, but she liked this which was a good sign and she also tried my ravioli and liked that too. I also tasted the spaghetti and it had a good flavor and creamy. The spaghetti itself had a good texture and wasn't over cooked. I got the Divine Comedy cocktail and that was great too, especially the little round things in the bottom of the drink that explodes with a fruity flavor when you bite it. It is a nice place with a nice view of the hotels and the Bellagio fountains. Romantic place to bring a partner to. Would come here again.

I had dinner with my family and must say the food was average.. My wife had the polenta that she loved.i had the 12oz steak that was just average. I would have expected a lot more taste from the steak.. not impressed.. My kids had spaghetti that they liked but it was just above average. We also ordered a salad that was again just average.... I really expected more from this restaurant especially for the price i paid...

This restaurant was one of our favorite places to eat on the strip. The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter was super friendly. You can request a view overlooking the Bellagio fountains. We could see them just a little from our booth. It's definitely a restaurant you must visit.

my favorite Italian restaurant on the strip. I come regularly and I was disappointed by the service last weekend. the flavors were there and we enjoyed the pasta and bread. I tried to speak to a manager, but none was present. the hostess tried several times.

Fantastic food and service…loved every minute of it! Beautiful view of the Bellagio Fountains and the Vegas Strip…best spaghetti and basil I’ve ever tasted..angolotti pasta filled with short rib was wonderful as well! Top off the meal with a nice Cabernet Sav (Duckhorn) and tiramisu for dessert…couldn’t ask for a better evening!

My husband and I recently visited Las Vegas for a short vacation. I booked an early dinner at Scarpetta before a concert. We were seated at a table by the window We had a great view of the Bellagio Fountains. Our server was Luis. He was very friendly and great at making recommendations for our dinner. For appetizers I had the smoked burrata and my husband ordered the pork belly (at the suggestion of Luis). Both were delicious. We had the short rib agnolotti and chicken marsala as our entrees . We both loved our dinners. We finished with the yummy Nutella bomboloni for dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant for it’s delicious food, excellent service , and great ambiance

Amazing food. One of the best Italian restaurants in the country! Exceptional service. The views of the las vegas strip are spectacular.

Great ambience, great service. The food unfortunately didn’t live up to my expectations. We ordered fish, and my sword fish was dry . So I didn’t enjoy it that much. But overall we had great time

Nice restaurant interior and atmosphere, but we commented to our waiter how cold it was in there, he agreed, perhaps it was just an off night. Service and wait staff were beyond great. We enjoyed our appetizer, but our entree, not so much. I had spaghetti and meatballs, super simple easy dish. The 4 meatballs were the size of large grapes (small), and the full portion was the size of a cereal bowl. In addition to a very measured portion there was no stand out flavor. My wife had shrimp scampi which was served with one large shrimp (head on) on top of her pasta. She found one or two other small chunks of shrimp within after digging for it. These entries go for 35-40 dollars, I forget the exact price, but a lot in my opinion for the quality and quantity of our food. The real head scratcher was when the bill came and we encountered something we never really had before. Our Martinis were very pricey at around $20 dollars each, but then on top of that they charged us 50 cents for each blue cheese olive in the glass. Are they hurting that much for more profits to charge for olives? A complete turn off! It was a good dinner, but very far from a great dinner.

The service is great. The food is delicious. The ambience is 5 stars. Very good experience. Definitely will be back soon

Wanted to find an Italian place on the strip and the reviews were really good. Made a reservation but wound up eating at the bar which had plenty of spots at 6:30. Around 8:30-9:00 the bar filled up. I started with the San Remo cocktail. Followed that with the tuna crudo. This definitely had some heat from the Serrano pepper but was really good. I went with the polenta w mushrooms which is a signature item. It was quite good. I then had the tagliatelle with lamb ragu and truffle burrata. Very good. A couple glasses of wine made for a really good email. I finished with the salted Carmel budino a definite winner. The service was great and even sitting at the bar the food delivery and explanation was on point the same as if sitting in the restaurant. There are some tables near the windows with great views. Not sure if they can be specifically reserved. The prices were high but so was the quality. I didn’t have the spaghetti with tomato basil which is another signature item.

Scarpetta has been our go-to fine dining restaurant in Las Vegas. It's on the third floor of the Cosmopolitan. This time, our son and daughter-in-law booked a reservation for our 50th wedding anniversary. Our son told them of our special occasion and we were seated at a perfect table next to the window facing the Bellagio fountain. We all enjoy our food immensely. Three of us enjoyed our Italian dishes and our son had a delicious and perfectly cooked steak. I had ordered a glass of wine for myself. The waiter came back with a sample of wine that I ordered but also with a sample of another wine that he recommended. I tried both and went with his recommendation as I agreed that it was the best. After dinner, our waiter surprised us with a plate of wonderful chocolates for desert. Two nights before, we enjoyed a 50th wedding anniversary dinner locally with our daughter and son-in-law. Having our son and daughter-in-law drive up from Scottsdale two days later to meet us for dinner in Las Vegas at Scarpetta capped off a perfect 50th wedding anniversary.

We had a window table facing the strip and fountains, and our dishes were all delicious . The Chilean sea bass and scallops were both rich and lavish. Portions were generous and the homemade bread alone was a meal. Two things could improve: We found the wine list to be attractive but dramatically pricey. Our server was professional, but missed a part of our order after it got busy and it took 15 mins plus to get his attention. Despite the service drop, they simply removed the order from the bill. Was a very good dining experience and we would return,

My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time here for dinner. The atmosphere was very Sinatra-esque with a modern 'Cosmopolitan' vibe. Quiet and hidden away from the main fanfare of the hotel, the dim lighting and fountain views made for a perfect couple's retreat. Signature cocktails and a vast, gourmet Italian menu offered a great selection of choices. The starters were so delicate and balanced and the main courses were rich and full-bodied. This was real Italian food as there wasn't an ounce of red tomato sauce in sight. While my wife only had a glass of wine, there appeared to be a full-time wine sommelier for the many guests who ordered a bottle. That is first class service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and Travis was a pleasure to have as a waiter. This was a much needed night of relaxation after the hustle and bustle of the NFR and Convention Center events. Prices were fair and food was high quality. Couldn't recommend enough, will be back for sure.

Excellent Italian Restaurant - very good service, and delicious food. Not cheap, but appropriate for this location. Highly recommended.

We have been here multiple times and each time has been fabulous. The view of the Bellagio fountain is wonderful. This time our waiter was David. He was friendly, professional and personable. I have had their carpaccio twice, prepared two different ways with both being memorable. We have ordered different appetizers, entrees, desserts. as well as their prefix and all have been outstanding. Their pasta is perfectly al dente. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.

Book about a month in advance. Get a pasta dish, you can’t go wrong. Service is impeccable. Really good view of the fountains.

Scarpetta was amazing start to finish. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairings, all of the wine was excellent. I would love to know what champagne they served to start because even to my ignorant tastebuds I could tell it was vastly superior to what we toast with at home. The food was fantastic, from the oysters to the octupus (I've never had octopus that tender in my life), to the pastas (spaghetti and an amazing short rib ravioli that was phenomenal.....next time I'm getting a whole serving of just that) to the fish and the duck breast. It was fantastic portions--enough to really feel satisfied at the end. The desserts were excellent as well and each came with a small scoop of uniquely flavored gellato, amaretto for my husband, cinnamon for me. The atmosphere was a bit dark, but I knew that from the other reviews and actually appreciated that as this was our couples "romantic" evening away from the group. We could see the bellagio fountains from our spot and it was so special. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. There is clearly not a bad dish on the menu and the tasting menu is out of this world.

Fine restaurant for business dinners but it is very expensive and the menu / preparation is quite unimaginative. The meals were fine but overall fairly forgettable.

Had an early dinner here and got seated at an incredible table looking over the Bellagio fountains. Staff were super helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list. I had the Lamb which was incredible and appreciated the honesty from the server that it would be a little longer than normal due to how its cooked and could be up to 40mins. He kept checking in on us whilst we waited and kept us updated as to when it was nearly ready! When it came it was totally worth the wait. Delicious flavours and textures and so tender. Overall one of our best meals in Vegas, never felt rushed or anything and could have an incredibly relaxing time.

On a recent visit to Las Vegas we choose Scarpetta's because of their free bottle of wine deal. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the wine to be very acceptable, an the food and service outstanding. Even when it was obvious we weren't big spenders we received great treatment. This is now our favorite Italian restaurant in Las Vegas,

We've had several fantastic dinners at Scarpetta. Expensive (a la Vegas) but the experience is worth it. Highly recommended.

It was our anniversary, which they knew about. We made reservations months ahead of time. We were sat with our backs to view.....one of the main reasons we wanted to go to this restaurant. When we asked for another table we were simply told no. Instead, we got a view of the server's station. Wine way overpriced. Service started out great and then our server got very busy and abandoned us. The sommelier had to check us out and finish our service. The food itself was tasty. Also, the bathroom was filthy at 6:30pm. Crazy. Overall, not what was expected at all.

Second time we visit . Their short rib ravioli is out of this world. Also they have a duck with pasta you need to try . This two can be appetizers. For dinner order the fish branzino. No bones . This fish is excellent. The skin....crunchy is delicious. They have a great wine list . I discover they have one of my favorite wines from Tuscany. Great service. Nice views to Bellagio fountain. Need reservation.

Beautiful decor in this restaurant. We had a great table right by the window overlooking the Bellagio fountains. Our dinner was delicious, but my cocktail was pretty bad. Stick with wine.

I tried Scarpetta for the first time and it was very good. I had the duck and my business colleague had the braised short ribs. Both were tasty and chocolate soufflé was delicious. I would recommend !

We went here on our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. They have us seats overlooking the Bellagio fountains and our server was absolutely great. The food itself was particularly good, including the different breads we were greeted with on arrival. Would 100% recommend

I’ve been waiting in line for 30 minutes. Honestly, no matter how good the food is - and it’s not that good - I think it’s embarrassing to ask someone to wait around for half an hour. Imagine that happening in any other industry: waiting 30 minutes for your newspaper at a news stall, waiting 30 minutes at cvs to buy your shampoo, a cleaning lady waiting 30 minutes before cleaning your apartment. I don’t think I will be going back in the near future. They’ve lost my trust, and I’m very disappointed. Truly.

Dinner was amazing, the view was amazing, our server Travis was absolutely amazing! A perfect night. Well worth the cost!

The restaurant is nice and the ambiance nice but the food is not good! Spend your money elsewhere, beef carpaccio was tasteless, seafood starter was tasteless and chewy. The veal was nice and well cooked. The wine list was very expensive and not in alignment with the food. We have eaten at other cheaper restaurants in Vegas and food was much much better. Very very disappointed as we had booked this prior to our stay as a special meal.

It was a very beautiful evening. We were sleeping at the Aria, and we decided to change hotels for dinner. We started with a Caesar salad and caprese. very fresh and well seasoned. the spaghettis was the best tomato sauce I have eaten. The lamb was tender and tasty. I will come back very soon

This has nice view of Bellagio fountains! Great food and service. Will definitely dine here again and highly recommend!

I would recommend Scarpetta for giving our family an amazing experience. From the moment we walked up the ladies at the front were welcoming and kept us informed of when our table would be ready. We had a window table that gave us a front row seat to the Bellagio fountains. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very well done. They are not reinventing the wheel here but the fresh pasta dishes were cooked perfectly. The Branzino was outstanding and the service throughout the meal was great. There is no such thing as a good value in Vegas but the quality of ingredients along with the portion size made this restaurant a perfect choice for our family. Much props to everyone at Scarpetta for making our dining experience special.

We chose to celebrate my 60th birthday here. Despite having reservations others were seated before us, and the hostess was frowny faced and bored. Certainly set the tone for the rest of the evening. We were never offered the midweek wine deal. However, our server Johnny was upbeat and full of birthday wishes. He should consider a job outside of this restaurant as he was the only bright spot in the room. The salads were great but the breads and pastas lacked taste. The short rib pasta was gummy on the edges, lukewarm and there was not a trace of horseradish taste. The browned butter sauce was starting to separate because of the cold temperature. Dessert was a delight - must try the salted caramel offering. Nice touch with Happy Birthday written on the dish. View was great. Manager walked by the table several times and choose to push in chairs at empty tables instead of greeting us. Our experience was transactional and not memorable.

We entertained 12 customers in a private room, which was ideal. Customers enjoyed the beef, pasta entrées. No complaints from anyone. Private room had a beautiful view of Vegas. Waiter was friendly and took a picture of the group at the end.

My wife and I have been coming to Scarpetta for eight years. Whenever we are in LV for a special weekend, we celebrate here. The food is consistently great, the staff were very friendly and prompt and the view is incredible (ask for a window seat).

Went here for dinner our first night in Vegas, and what a fantastic decision that was! Reservations are obviously required and the prices are at the mid-high end of Strip restaurants. However, the food here is more than worth it. If you've never had freshly made pasta in a restaurant, trust me when I say it makes all the difference! The agnolotti and the gnocchi are both divine, and the salmon could not have been better! From others at the table, the spiced pork belly and the scallops also received high marks. And make sure you save room, because you definitely don't want to pass up on their deserts! The menu does change seasonally, so the offerings will always be slightly different depending on when you go. If you can, get a table on the east side of the restaurant so that you overlook the Fountains at the Bellagio during your dinner. It will enhance the already fantastic atmosphere of this restaurant!

Meh, the food wasn’t horrible, but it was definitely not worth almost an hour wait. We had the spaghetti and the shrimp scampi. The spaghetti tasted like ragu, both meals needed salt. Not worth the price at all.

We dined here for two nights. Once with a party of eight and finally just the two of us. Both experiences were good but we particularly enjoyed our evening last night. We sat by the window at a two top in clear view of the Bellagio fountain water show. The good food and this view made it spectacular.

We celebrated my 73rd birthday by indulging in the tasting menu at the Scarpetta. The staff responded by ensuring that every possible detail met or exceeded our expectations for the evening. Our server, Luis, was excellent. The food was delicious in both presentation and taste. The view from our table was hard to beat. My wife and I are so very appreciative that Scarpetta honored our request for that window table and made my birthday celebration such a memorable event. Thank you!

Atmosphere, food, service, and drinks were excellent. Everything about Scarpetta is what you would expect of a high end Italian restaurant (especially one in Vegas). Every dish looked and tasted great, service was excellent, and atmosphere was upscale yet very comfortable. Did not disappoint, highly recommended!

It was an awful experience! The server seems to be in a hurry where he doesn't even recommend anything on the menu and the food came like in 10 mins. During the meal, we asked for extra butter, when the butter arrived, the server drop it on my plate and broke my plate where the broken pieces scattered around the table, some might even drop into some of our food plates. Without much gesture of apologies, he left and brought another butter. When all the food arrived, he put the check in the table and ask if we are ready to pay, I just had my first bite of Tiramisu! There was not a lot of people in the restaurant and no one waiting outside to be seated, I don't understand why they are in such a hurry

We had not dined at Scarpetta for several years and decided that it was time to go back. It did not disappoint! The ambiance is contemporary, the service is very attentive, and the food is outstanding. We tried several of the pasta dishes and all were fantastic and well prepared. Cocktails pours were generous as were the wine pours. This is a great restaurant if you want elegant Italian fare.

Ate with friends (2 couples) and were able to stop in on a Thursday evening for dinner without a reservation. While we weren't able to get a fountain view table, we were happy with one of the 'nooks' by the bar. The wait staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The entrees are unique, delicious and didn't take long to wait. Pricey, but this is Vegas, right? A great place to spring for your first night in town before choosing lower-cost options on the strip.

We just went in for a few drinks before dinner down the hall. Bartenders were great and the have a deep selection of liquor and wine. Very elegant.

In a word, amazing! We had a fantastic meal. We were staying in the Cosmopolitan and had a drink in the bar the night before we ate dinner here. It looked good so we made a reservation for the following night. I asked the bartender what his favorite dish was and he replied the Agnolotti. We sat at our table and ordered a bottle of wine and I asked the Sommelier what his favorite dish was and he replied the Agnolotti. I asked our waiter his favorite dish and it was also the homemade daily Short Rib Agnolotti. They were not wrong! We spilt the Caprese salad to pace ourselves to have room for dessert, I had the Agnolotti and my husband had the salmon. We split the Affogato dessert, totally worth it. Everything was delicious and are service was very good. My only complaint would be that they charge a $150 per person guarantee for a window seat. Our total bill was right at $250 and we were seated one row from the window. We saw a group of 3 seated by the window that never glanced up at the fountains and another couple that sat with their backs to the window so they could look into the restaurant. Window seating pricing seems high to me. I get that it is Vegas and they obviously get people to pay for the window, but it doesn't have great optics as a hotel guest.

My Wife and I dined at Scarpeta on Thursday 10/26/2023 I would consider this experience as one of our most enjoyable restaurants experiences in the past 20 years. We love to go out and experience high quality and interesting food restaurants. We love to experience artistic foods and eating environments as a special treat for us. While Scarpetta is located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas which is probably the busiest, crowded, and loudest hotel in Vegas, Scarpeta was located on the 3rd level of the hotel that contains a number of good quality restaurants. We were seated in a table overlooking the Vegas strip and the Bellagio water fountains show. This was a great view for us. Our waiter was top notch as best as you would like. I was very impressed by him because I was drinking red wine for diner, when I ordered my 2nd glass of wine; the bottle was emptied at the end of the pour. However, our waiter quickly returned with a new bottle of wine and poured wine beyond the normal drink level. Our food meal was totally amazing and beyond our expectations. Perfect preparation and presentation. Artistic would be the best description. We ate very slowly, savoring each bite. My wife enjoyed Raviolo and Filet of Beef. I enjoyed the Octopus and Braised Short Ribs. We shared the Desert-AMEDEI CHOCOLATE CAKE. Totally wonderful!

OK, so to begin, we were NOT dressed for this restaurant. It was not where we intended to go, but ended up here and the host was kind enough to seat us, even though we were not "dressed up". Not dressed poorly (shorts, etc) but not upscale. I write this, because I believe that our appearance may have marred our service - Our server barely gave us the time of day, rushed us through, didn't give us the same "service" we saw him give the surrounding tables. Food - caesar salad was very good and tasty Pasta - pesto with sausage was tasty Risotto special of the day - White truffle risotto - $125 - yes, you read that correctly - was OUSTANDING. loaded with shaved white truffles. Was it worth $125? eh - yes, due to the amount of truffles and it was delicious. Would I do it again? probably not, it was a special occasion! Would we return? yes, we would. But would feel more comfortable had we dressed accordingly which we normally do.

Scarpetti is an upsacle restaurant that has a warm and inviting ambiance with excellent views of the Bellagio fountains. Service was excellent with good suggestions for wine as well as appetizers and main courses. The seafood oregenata was one of the best fish (black bass, scallops and prawns in pernod butter) dishes I have ever had (I could have eaten two). The agnolotti pasta filled with short ribs was delicious too. The meal was $$$ but well worth it. Great food, gracious service and good time!

We loved the attention to details. The staff was friendly, they made us feel welcome and the food delicious. We had a great view of the strip and the fountain. I had the veal chop with spaghetti which was delicious. My wife had the beet salad and the foie gras and duck ravioli, Everything was delicious presented nicely.

My wife booked a table at Scarpetta for my 50th Birthday and we were treated to a window seat overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. The shrimp starter (which we shared) was delicious and the wine went really well with it. We were provided with a variety of fresh bread baked in the restaurant and that too was delicious. However, due to a number of large parties the service was really stretched and after waiting 50 minutes for our main course (and after getting through another round of drinks) I felt the need to complain to the senior member of the staff on the floor which was really unfortunate and I felt loathed to do. The manager came over and apologised for the wait and said the drinks were on the house as were the deserts. Soon after the main course did arrive and it was wonderful as were two delicious chocolate deserts. It was a shame that the wait between the courses was so long but I must say that our concern was addressed quickly, courteously and professionally, and there was an immediate response. Things do sometimes not go according to plan in any restaurant, it’s how a restaurant deals with such occasions that shows their class and professionalism. Scarpetta demonstrated their professionalism. The dishes were fabulous and the evening was really enjoyable. I would highly recommend Scarpetta

The service and food were both outstanding. For a crowd of 20, i was totally impressed!! They (son and daughter in law) had planned the menu, appetizers, salads, main course, desserts - the food just kept coming.

My husband and I visited Scarpetta after a long day of travel. Although we’ve stayed at the Cosmopolitan about 10 times, we’d never eaten here. It ended up being one of the most memorable meals! My husband had the lamb tagliatelle and I had the short rib pasta. The view of the Bellagio fountains was gorgeous and the tables were spaced far enough away to feel private. I ordered a glass of Barbaresco and the pour was generous enough to last the whole meal. For dessert we shared the sea salt carmel dish and it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. My husband and I eat out pretty often so I’m rather jaded, but I will say this was one of the nicest dinner experiences in recent years. This was a great way to spend the first night of vacation!

1st of all for such a nice place, they lost our reservation that I had planned 2 months in advance like you are suppose to do, the girls up front were very rude and wouldnt get us a table untill i showed my phone and proved I had one. then we got the most terrible table and it was planned for anniv. just sad and pathetic will never go gain.

Amazing food, awesome staff, great ambiance. The best spaghetti and meatballs! Very big wine menu. Can't wait to go back

I had very high hopes for this place and perhaps this was my greatest mistake. The view over the Bellagio fountains makes this a perfect place for an Italian restaurant. The server was also an Italian which together with the view made me already travel to beloved Italy. The food wasn't bad but had little to do with Italy. Perhaps I've let my guard down but I felt mislead - this is american-italian restaurant and does not serve Italian food. This strong statement is supported by both the food presentation and the food composition/taste. To give you an example - carbonara with green peas and sauce made with sour cream (or something similar, definitely not based on eggs). Other dishes were equally "Italian". It wasn't bad as food goes but it was horrible as Italian food. Hence 3.6/5 -> not great, not terrible either.

Dinner was very nice and service was excellent. For the price, both of these are expected. $225 for 2 people for a business meal with only 1 drink each. I had the fish and was cooked very nicely - flakey and light. I would recommend it.

All of the boxes were ticked; the food was great, nice environment etc so Google didn't let me down on suggesting 'Top 5 Italian Restaurants' The thing that stood out most, though, annoyingly as I've forgotten his name, was our server. I've nearly really taken note of it before, but there is a certain sophistication to having an older server. I must say, he was entirely on point, and the process was extremely streamlined. From explaining the food menu and specials, to his liaising with the Sommelier and general insightful information - he really made us feel seen

This is a upscale restaurant . When I booked it I did not know how upscale it was. Luckily we all dressed up for the night. Service was wonderful. We had about 3 or more servers. Food was very good. Desserts were so so. Not as good. I'm a dessert person.

Yes, ALL the food is beyond amazing here. You MUST get the spaghetti! Yet again, what makes this place ultra special is the service. Mario and the whole bar team go above and beyond. We usually end up sitting here for hours chatting with other guest and employees. We have NEVER had a bad meal here, always leave Happy and Full :)

We sat at the bar, got right in on a Saturday night without a reservation. The service was good; we shared a salad, carpaccio, and the scallops. It was too much food for two, and the carpaccio was really salty, but the other two entrees were good.

A beautiful place for dinner. Went to this for a fantastic girls night out. From the bread to the entree’s they were scrumptious. Especially loved my beef filet.

We had a great U shaped booth facing the fountains. Really just the small tables AT the glass get to see the show but you can see something. Service was great. The food far exceeded expectations. The octopus appetizer was excellent. The spaghetti (yes!) was the show stealer. However even the BREAD was amazing! Prices for everything were very fair. Not expensive.

Scallops very good. short rib dry, polenta awesome, and to our surprise, the red quinoa and veggies really awesome. But save room the desserts are the best. Amaretto chocolate cake. Service was knowledgeable and prompt. Excellent room with great views of Bellagio fountain.

I left hungry. We went for our aniversity dinner and it was bland. The spaghetti that everyone raves about had no flavor to it. I understand that everything is freshly made there and I am not saying that it was bad tasting. There just was no taste to it. We also had the lamb. It was cooked great but again no flavor. The potatoes were under cooked and raw. But Casey why didn't you tell the waiter? That was because he only asked how everything was once and just asked my husband not me. The only saving grace was the lemon cheesecake. Our bill was $300 and I left disappointed and hungry.

On December 31st, my wife made a nice score at the roulette table, so on January 1st we celebrated her good fortune (as well as my birthday and our anniversary) at Scarpetta. It certainly didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was elegant and the service top notch. Our server (Chris, I believe) was fantastic as were his assistants. We went with the calamari for our appetizer, which was excellent. For our entrees, my wife had the Agnolotti, which is ravioli style pasta with short rib meat inside. It was very unique and delicious. I had the scallops, which also were fantastic. Portions were a little small, so definitely enjoy the amazing bread selection they bring. The meal was topped off with complementary chocolates to commemorate our anniversary and my birthday. One note, be sure to request a window table overlooking the Bellagio fountains, if that is important to you. We had a decent view from our table, but about half the tables have no view. Also, we were charged for more glasses of wine than we ordered. Our server quickly fixed the mistake in our favor, but we only caught it because we carefully examined the bill. Overall, excellent experience.

My husband and I were in Las Vegas to celebrate our anniversary with nearby family. We love Italian and after looking over various menus we chose Scarpetta and made a reservation. Everything was outstanding. For apps, my nephew, in his mid-20s, decided to try beef carpaccio; it was beautiful and he ate every molecule. My sister decided to get the antipasti to share - so wonderful!! Great cheeses, cured meats, olives , caperberries...my husband and I both selected a salad - mine was a seasonal Insalata Mista with pear, bleu cheese, candied walnuts, champagne dressing. Hubs chose a Ceasar and said it was best ever. Our entrees were all wonderful. Me: short rib Agnoletti (scrumptious), Hubs: Veal Chop Parmagiano: LARGE, delicious, tender, OMG. Sis: Seafood Oregenata: Huge prawns, wonderful bass...melt in the mouth wonderfulness, Nephew: Short Rib Brasato - he said it was so wonderful he would be craving it soon. For sides, we ordered the rapini (perfectly cooked and spiced) and fingerling potatoes (hubs & I had a bite and they were perfect). Deserts, we got chocolate cake, tira misu, and chocolate mousse and all had some of all and each was absolutley perfectly prepared and the best model of what each should always be... I had a wonderful cocktail and hubs, etc. had wine. We will be going back on a future trip to LV!! It's dim, quiet with tasteful background music and contemporary elegant decor. If available, there are tables overlooking the Bellagio's fountains!

We were a party of 4 at Scarpetta Las Vegas in the Cosmopolitan, a dining experience opportunity that is not to be missed. The Chef's Table is in a private room with floor-to-ceiling windows with a view into the kitchen on one side, and the Bellagio fountains on another. Chef Michael was divine. His culinary creations just kept flowing from the kitchen and were works of art visually, as well as providing deeply satisfying aromas, tastes, and textures. The entire affair was family style as the dishes served were bountiful and the atmosphere created by the staff was lively, friendly, engaged, and decidedly non-pretentious. Chef Michael set the tone by spending time with us (thankfully the kitchen was not outrageously busy) allowing us to learn some details of his background and philosophies. Every time I looked up to observe the activity in the kitchen, he had a smile on his face! Our server David was absolutely terrific in every way, and Sommelier Kyle was entertaining, educational, and a class act whom we enjoyed spending time with. His knowledge of the wine world was inspiring and his selections for us were gorgeous. We took home lots of leftovers and had a very memorable breakfast the next day! The staff was aware of our timeline to make a show. They made sure we had the time of our lives in addition to getting us out right on time. I very rarely highly recommend a restaurant to others, but this one deserves it, enthusiastically. We will absolutely make this restaurant a mandatory stop on every future Vegas visit. To the staff: Thank you so much for making our visit so memorable, and for all the right reasons. Well done!

The food was divine - 1/2 of our party ordered pasta; 1/2 ordered steak, and everyone was in love with what they ordered. Most tables have a view of the Bellagio fountains. Don't miss this place, especially if you are staying at the Cosmo! We will be back for sure!

This is the second time that we have eaten at Scarpetta. The pasta is delicious and homemade, a must try when eating here. The staff was top notch! Pricey but seems like most of the good restaurants in Vegas are now-a-days.

Even with MGM management and higher prices after COVID, this is still one of the most spectacular and fine places to dine on the strip. Window seats give you a perfect view of the Bellagio fountains and the Eifel tower of Paris Hotel. The service is impeccable, with Jason as our server you could not get any higher class service. Attentive, but not hovering. Water, bread and bussing was efficient but unobtrusive. The food is always great, with the beet salad and lotus root just amazing. The finishing touch was the anniversary brownies! Corkage allows you to bring your own wine ($50) and depending on the event, is worth it.

If you ever had anyone on speed dial it should be your plumber. I hosted him and guests at this restaurant. The magnificent appetizer of meat and cheeses was a super starter. We ordered and the precut filet, porterhouse, strip and the fish of the day. The group could not stop eating the asparagus and marinated mushrooms. An expresso with the fabulous soufflé hot the maximum chocolate fantasy. Roberto was our server and he is the best in the city.

This place is always delightful and a gorgeous view of the Bellagio fountains, and delicious food. We started out with the calamari and bread (the citrus infused olive oil is incredible). I had the duck fois ravioli and my husband had the pork chop. They were both flavorful and made my tastebuds soar. They gave us a small complimentary chocolate dessert for our anniversary. Definitely worth going!

There are so many choices for food in Vegas, but this place caught our eye tucked back in the recesses of The Cosmopolitan amid many other restaurants. My friend and I love Italian, and it is usually safe. But the ambiance is what caught our eye. We sat in the bar area at a cozy little semi circular booth. The cocktails were creative and tasty, and the breads they bring out with three different condiments almost ruined our appetites because we couldn’t stop eating them. We split an excellent mixed salad, calamari (just ok for me) and the short rib agnolotti. Wonderful service and an elegant atmosphere, and jeans were ok! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, and the atmosphere was nice. we enjoyed the pasta and the desserts. The bread was fantastic. Little to dark in the restaurant, and the server don't propose a light to read the menu

Amazing food, service and view of the Bellagio fountains. Staff could not do enough for us. Really looked after us all evening. 100% recommend!

My husband and I arrived at 5:00pm for a 5:30pm reservation, we were the 1st to arrive before the restaurant opened at 5:30. I let the lady hostess know we were there and would be siting to the side until they opened. We stepped back over at exactly at 5:30 as they were opening and a family stepped in front of us and the male host took them first and asked if they would staying at the hotel. My husband and I along with the family of three also had a 5:30 reservations on July 21st. I made the reservation and called hours to request to be seated for our anniversary for overlooking the Bellagio fountain and she it was first come first serve. It appeared we were seated in the corner with an obstructed view in the corner and the other family was seated with a perfect view with not obstructed view. My husband had to move to the opposite side to have somewhat of a small view. The waiter was nice and didn't mine going over some of the items on the menu. The waiter brought us warm bread and it was really good. We ordered two Insalata Cesare - salads marinated white anchovies, parmesan croutons. Polenta - truffled mushroom fricassee that didn't like, Tagliatelle - Lamb bolognese & truffle burrata, my husband had Spaghetti with tomato and basil and a half of glass of wine. The Tagliatelle meal that was really over priced Spaghetti wasn't very good. Overall, our dining experience was very disappointing. We're use to four and five star fine dining but food and initial service we experience was not it. It truly was not what we expected for four star dining. Also, it appeared that the The Cosmopolitan hotel guest get top priority no matter what time you have a reservation.

This is a lovely place and our table overlooked the Billagio fountains. The service was spot on and very knowledgeable. We split the Caesar salad which was cold and crisp....don't miss the anchovies. Also split the burrata which was very good. My colleagues had the spaghetti and the sauce was delightful. I had the angiotti (sp) which was a dish made by angels. One of the best things I have ever eaten. We finished with the salted caramel dessert which capped a perfect meal. Don't miss Scarpetta's.

We loved our meal here. Took advantage of the mid week "wine on us" that was going on. It included a complementary bottle of wine of their choosing. The wine was decent and we really enjoyed it with our meal. The classic spaghetti, which is their famous dish, is worth the hype. Very delicious. Its a little pricy, but its Vegas, and the comp bottle of wine kept the bill reasonable and the prices match the quality and service. Decor is lovely, and if you are lucky enough to sit by the window you can enjoy the fountain show. Service is professional. Reservations a must. Saw people turned away as they were full, on a Monday night!

Do it! This place is such a gem. It’s priced fairly with delicious food and a classy ambience. They start you with 5 types of bread, all were great. Tasted the rainbow chard and tortelli...also wonderful. Service was perfect, the waiter guided us through the cocktail selections and was very attentive. The view by the windows looks right at the Bellagio water show, felt really special. Honestly, Scarpetta is only $10-20 more per person than an average “sit-down” restaurant in Vegas but you’ll feel like a million bucks. Do it!!!!

Our last night in Vegas after a Convention. Had eaten at several other restaurants. The majority give you WAY too much food, and it is mediocre. Scarpetta was perfect! The view of the fountains was nice, bit the food and service was wonderful. Delicious and perfect portions. The homemade linguini with basil sauce was excellent, and just what I craved.

Extremely good food and excellent service. The recommendations from staff to halve meals to allow us to try several dishes was very much appreciated- everything we tried was perfect. Couldn’t fault this place.

Disappointed! Caesar salad was bland ( anchovies were not available) I asked if the chef (apparently famous for pasta )could make a carbonara but he couldn’t , I opted for the crab risotto which was OK but no more . The wine by the glass selection was poor .. overall a disappointing experience. I sat at the bar which had a positive vibe , the overall ambiance was good but my meal was mediocre at best , fellow diners seemed to fair better from what I could see, Some of the dishes were well presented but the have k idea how they tasted.. I probably won’t return there are far better options on the Las Vegas strip.

Amazing atmosphere. We quickly decided on the 6 course tasting menu. Oyster, scallops, pasta, ravioli, beef, salmon. Dessert. All outstanding. As was the waitstaff and manager. Highly recommend

We had a very nice anniversary dinner at Scarpetta. We were seated so that we had a view of the Bellagio fountains. The wait staff were friendly and efficient. Our food was well prepared and was delicious. At the end of the meal they brought out a complimentary dessert for our anniversary.

This place is amazing! Everything was perfect, and I mean everything. Sat at the bar and Chris was helping us out. His recommendations made our dinner the best experience we have had so far. The “happy” hour menu is unbelievable, I had the calamari frites, perfect portion. Noticed they had a fantastic Malbec on the menu for $8 a glass, best deal in town. I split the chicken park and spaghetti with my brother and it was the perfect amount. They split everything in the kitchen so it made eating very easy. Oh, the bread, a perfect match of different tastes with three different toppings. Finished the meal off with the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. The coffee gelato on top was perfect. Highly recommend, you need to eat here.

Amazing meal from start to finish. I had the seasonal soup which was topped with a light crab salad while my husband started his meal with a salad. His veal chop was simply delicious and surprisingly tender. I went basic with the spaghetti and meatballs and I am glad I did. I often am disappointed with meatballs finding them tough or flavorless. I am glad to say these were neither; in fact I would say these were the best meatballs I have eaten in my 59 years. The desserts were lovely as well. I would return to Scarpetta’s in a heartbeat.

This was my first time eating here. I reserved a table for five 3 days ahead of time and called the day of to ensure my note about having the window seating was seen. The hostesses weren’t too friendly when we checked in but the manager quickly made it right. We had an amazing view of the strip and ordered the oysters to start. We also ordered cocktails (my chocolate martini was great) and we ordered calamari which was yummy as well. All of my first got different pastas but the table hit was the lobster pasta which I think is a special right now. We finished everything off with the cheesecake, salted caramel pudding and the chocolate cake. I wouldn’t suggest the chocolate cake unless you enjoy the cherry chocolate candies around Valentine’s Day...overall, beautiful seating and ambiance and great service and the food was great. I’ll definitely be back!!

Lovely bread basket, perfect short ribs with a pumpkin purée and broccolini, and freshly made pasta with meatballs. The service was just right, attentive but not overly so. We enjoyed a little affogato dessert. I just loved the view and the dinner. Just a little romantic getaway in Vegas!

Simply amazing. Best meal and service we’ve had maybe ever but definitely best here in Vegas. It is pricey but if you’re looking for a luxury experience then I highly recommend. Squid ink pasta was to die for and the cocktails were fresh and beautiful. We will be back any time we come to Vegas

Wow. What an incredible restaurant. Firstly, the views are breathtaking. Secondly, the staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us, my wife has a gluten allergy and the staff explained everything on the menu. Finally, the food was exceptional. One of our favourite meals throughout our holiday, if not our favourite. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to anybody.

I don't write many reviews, but this was one the most disappointing restaurants that I have been to in a long time. The food was poor and I could not believe how small the portions were. There are many good Italian restaurants in Las Vegas, but this is not one of them. Would definitely look for other places

The bread basket is one of the highlights of a meal. It literally took one hour between our appetizers to get our main course served. My Tagliatelle pasta came out luke warm at best. The antipasta and carbaccio appetizers were outstanding.

We made a reservation for 5:45 and asked for qimdow seat to watch the fountain show feom the Bellagio. When we arrived we were told all the window tables were taken and got sat down 3 rows deep. Finally 3 window tables came available with 25 minutes not an hour an a half as quoted and we asked if they could move us over. Our filet had not hit the table yet so it was the perfect time. The hosted said they couldn't move us. We asked to speak to the manager who obviously couldn't care less about keeping his clientele happy. The end result... we ate our filet, paid and took our business elsewhere. FYI the filet was dry and over cooked even when we asked for it medium. The calamari was chewy we sent it back. The only good thing we had was the Polenta and an attentive server.

Ambiance is what you would expect from Scott Conan. A bit of that rat pack feel, but updated. We had the tasting menu with one substitution. They had removed the octopus but were very accommodating by including it back in for us. The spaghetti was absolutely wonderful. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked. I have never had freshly made pasta that had such a wonderful chew. Their Bronzino of course had a crispy skin and stuffed with raisins and pine nuts. YUM! Each course (7) was fabulous and very generous in size. I would definitely recommend this place.

I made a reservation in April after checking every day until the reservations were open for our trip in September. We loved this restaurant and went every year for my birthday and/ or our anniversary. We had these reservations for 5 months then I received a notice through email, two weeks before our trip, that my original reservation was canceled with no explanation as to why. I made a new reservation for the night prior to the first reservation, received confirmation and everything was good, I thought. Nope, a week later, one week before our trip, I received a voice-mail that the restaurant had been sold out for both nights but they'd be happy to change my reservation to another night. No. I planned my trip for months and months and had reservations confirmed and you sold it out from under me. Obviously they only care about the rich people who can buy the whole place for two nights and not the repeat customers who can only get there one time a year to celebrate. We weren't getting anything free and pay hundreds of dollars for dinner for two every visit and we tip very well. I have literally told hundreds of people on Facebook how great this restaurant is and have left glowing reviews on TripAdvisor before but, we won't be back. I'm disgusted by how rude it is to do this to customers.

One of the best meals we've ever had!! Travis and the entire staff provided excellent service and the food was delicious. The bread, the wine, the appetizer, the pastas, the desserts!!! Everything was amazing!!! Our only regret is that we hadn't discovered this restaurant sooner. It will be on the list for all future Las Vegas trips. We're also looking forward to our next visit to New York and trying that location.

The lighting in this place is terrible. Near impossible to even read the menu. Food is way overpriced and the portions are small. Food lacked flavor. Reserved a table with a view and got a booth no where near a window. Don’t waste your money when there are other good places to eat.

We went here with a client who loves his food and wine, and this establishment delivered. We had the tasters menu with the wine pairing...no regrets. We all agreed that this was the best meal of the trip. Service is perfect, food is perfect, wine was close to perfect (one exception). We will be making Scarpetta a must visit for every trip to Vegas. Truffle Ravioli is a must!

Found this restaurant wandering around the Strip inside the Cosmopolitan on our first night in Las Vegas. Obviously we didn’t have reservations as we were just wandering about and got hungry on the way. The staff were still kind enough to give us a seat at the bar. We had the Tagliolini Agli Scampi i.e. Pasta with Prawns and a couple of drinks. The pasta was excellent and my wife loved it. We also had a nice time at the restaurant with attentive bar tender keeping an eye out for our needs. Would have loved to go back another time but with just 4 days in Las Vegas and so many things to see and so many places to eat at, we couldn’t make it back. But it is definitely on my list for my next visit to Las Vegas. Maybe we will even stay at the Cosmopolitan to get easy access to the restaurant.

We dine at Scarpetta once a year when we are in Vegas, usually for our anniversary. We went this year on a Sunday for my birthday. Normally the service is very attentive and excellent, this time it seemed like they had the B team servers who just wanted to go home. We ordered the tasting menu with the wine pairing. The first course was oysters with tangerine, apple and chili, which were amazing but when they were brought to the table there was no description of the dish which we have always received at every high end restaurant everywhere. They just put the dishes on the table and walked away. We were actually shocked by that. The same with the wine, they poured it in the glass, told us what kind but never said anything about why it was paired with the dish or showing us the label or any of the stuff they always do with tasting menus everywhere. I had to ask to see the menu again to know what was coming next. I can only hope that this was not how it will be on future visits. The food was amazing but the service was a major disappointment this visit. I guess we won't go back on a Sunday.

Everything was perfect! Excellent food, views, service, everything. Excellent! Make sure you start with the Caesar Salad. Great!!

Top tier Italian restaurant. The San Remo is in my top five of Vegas cocktails. Terrific menu, portions are easily shareable and the free assorted bread basket is appreciated when other Vegas restaurants are starting to charge for. Nice quiet atmosphere with a view of the Bellagio lake.

Eaten here twice now in the past 2 months. Portions are small, but think of this as Italian tapas. The most perfectly al dente pasta (spaghetti or ravioli) you'll ever have. Polenta has the best flavor and texture and the seafood dish was to die for. We are in Vegas 3-4 times a year and Scarpetta is our new new must have dinner. Seriously amazing flavor combinations. And oddly in expensive. 5 dishes will easily feed 2 people and with drinks set you back maybe $150.

Wonderful experience! Food was excellent and our server, José went above and beyond to make our evening a great one. The gluten free pasta was the best I have ever eaten! Sommelier Marc was also very helpful and knowledgeable and very friendly. Great evening and will definitely go back! Thank you!

Compliments to the chef! Chef Vitangeli served amazing food and it was delicious! Didn’t wait long at all! Fast service without sacrificing quality of all the dishes served. Top notch! Will come again and will highly recommend the restaurant to family and friends.

This is a very nice Italian restaurant. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I would definitely consider dining at this restaurant on my next Vegas trip.

I booked this restaurant a week in advance and requested a window seat. After reading reviews we thought it was going to be very upper class restuarant. We were asked when I booked if it was a special occasion, it was our anniversary. Not one person acknowledged this when we arrived and sat down, why bother asking this. There was no real ambience or light music. The waiter said ‘hello’ and handed the menu’s, no welcome to the restaurant etc, how is your evening? Nothing. We never got our window seat as Apparently they were reserved by the GM, even though a table was sat their empty. On the table next to us were two kids one picking their nose. It was clear to us this restaurant only looked after certain clients, and we certainly wasn’t one of them. I refused to give them my hard earned cash, so me and my wife got up and walked... don’t waste your time.
Glad I Tried Scarpetta – Fantastic Experience
I wanted to try something different, so I booked Scarpetta—and I’m glad I did. This was my first time dining here, and I really enjoyed it. The service was amazing, the food was excellent, the view was great, and I thought it was reasonably priced for a high-end Vegas restaurant. I will definitely be returning in the future.
