Went early Friday evening and got in rather quickly although the crowd was coming. Food was good and reasonably priced. Large variety of dishes on the menu. I will go back. Nothing to complain about.

My friend took me to this restaurant on New Years day for a last dinner before I departed New York. It has to be one of the best Thai meals I've ever tasted. The food was amazing and the cocktails to die for. The decor and ambience is on point so no surprise that this place is extremely popular. I will be frog marching my friend back to this place when I visit her again!

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try the place out. Every time we walk by it's always crowded! So with my sister visiting this weekend, we just had to. And all the anticipation was worth it. We decided to order everything to share and everything was amazing from Crab Rangoon to Tim Tum Fritters. Their SEA chicken wings was to die for. We also ordered Thai ice tea and coffee- can't have the meal without it! We can't wait to go back.

We used to love to take NYC guests to SEA - for the food, service and atmosphere. We went there last Sunday at about 3:00 pm, and were quite disappointed. The menu has changed, however our favorites were still available. The presentation has changed, the service was terrible, the table was dirty, and the bathrooms were a disgrace. Unfortunately, we won't be rushing back

Totally enjoyed our dinner at this hype restaurant...We ordered several appetizers instead of a big meal and we loved everything ! Everything was served warm...Everything was savory and tasty... The décor was amazing and the crowd very young/hipster Price was OK

This place is so cool! We stayed at a nearby apartment complex with Airbnb while in Williamsburg and this place was recommended to us by a friend. We had just arrived in the evening on a Friday after a rainy drive from DC and wanted a place close by to eat. This place definitely hit the spot. The ambiance was amazing, there was a live DJ and electronic music being played and the waiter was great. He told us what he recommends and the drinks, appetizer and food was brought out quickly. The mojitos were delish! I would recommend those. I had the Drunk Man's Noodles and my BF got the Spicy Dark Ocean and we shared the plates...they were both excellent. We were seated by the reflective pool, on Great Buddha's right side and we thought that that was an excellent spot to sit. If you're just a party of two I recommend sitting in this area. The atmosphere was perfect for us and we thought it was romantic. We were also celebrating our anniversary early. Check out out!

The food here was lovely, really quick and efficient service. The look of the place is gorgeous and great for pictures! Really loved the vibe, great for young couples and groups of friends! The one negative thing was the toilets were a bit gross!

I visited Sea in August 2016 for lunch, with my family while visiting NYC, I was so excited to go to Sea because I remembered my first visit to Sea last year. The presentation of the food was good, but the flavor and taste was a complete miss. Ordered the pad Thai and it was a complete disappointment, no flavor. The fish unavailable! Ordered Thai Ice tea never came to our table. Extra sticky rice never came, until 2 reminders later, I wondered why service was so terrible then I realized that gratuity was automatically included because the size of the party was over 5! SEA no more for me, to many restaurants in NYC to subject yourself to poor service and tasteless food!

Hubby and I ate here for lunch on a snowy Saturday afternoon. The decor is beautiful and inviting, with a wading pool and a floating wooden boat containing overflowing flowers in the middle, and Buddha oversees it all. I loved the wooden booths and the openness of the restaurant as well. I ordered the Tom Ka soup that was creamy and delicious. I also got the Pad Thai, which was a huge portion and very tasty. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The restrooms were very unusual--they are at the front of the restaurant and looked like individual "pods." Once you are inside, they have tiny video screens that show you what is going on in the restaurant. Kind of strange but definitely a conversation topic. Overall this is a great find in Brooklyn well-worth checking out.

I don't generally enjoy Thai food but this place is awesome!!! I really enjoyed everything from the food to the decor. Can't wait to go back!

It has been a few long years since we visited S.E.A. - the first time was when it just opened and it was more a club/bar/food place with long lines and a bouncer. Maybe they still do that later in the night. Now the area has many more options and we came around 7pm on a Friday summer night. The place was full, but no wait. As before, the decor is a big part of the experience and the energy is hyped with good loud music. The staff is great, and we were greeted with a bow and a smile, the waiter was helpful and it seemed that our section had an "assistant" waiter, he walked the section and made sure that we (and those around us) had water, and whatever else we asked for taken care off. The food is good and the "The King" drink we shared was enough to make both of us parents happy (yes we are "lightweights"). The boys enjoyed their Thai ice teas.

Other place that you can't miss if you are in NYC. This is more to share with friends you can make a reservation because if don't...probably have to wait more than 30 min for a table, is not super expensive so a lot of people visit this place. The cocktails are delicious and of course the food. Order the pineapple fried rice yummy!!!

We read recommendations about Sea Thai, but the experience was much better than expected. The food is really great, a unique combination of tastes in all the dishes we ordered. A must go place if you visit the Brooklyn.

The walnut shrimps are excellent, so are the drunkman's noodles. There is a DJ playing so it might be a bit noisy for those that do not like that.

I had my graduation celebration in May with a party of 5, we were so full it took us 10 minutes to walk to our cars. whether chicken, steak ,fired rice or sea food the food was delicious, severed in large portions and very affordable. The waitress were friendly, respectful and very attentive. My phone was almost dead, they took it with them to charge it for me and brought it back after the meal. A fantastic place with a sophisticated ambience for an intimate dinner with your significant other or for family night out.

My friend recommended this restaurant whilst staying in Brooklyn so whilst on our holiday in NY we checked it out and we were not disappointed The food is lovely and reasonably priced. I liked the ambience & decor of the restaurant. I would definitely return here again

I've only been here on the weekends. If you are in the mood for drinks and appetizers this will be a great place. The food is descent and the prices as well. The drinks are ok too. I've also been here for dinner on a Saturday night. The music can get kind of loud but if you don't mind it then go for it. The place is huge and has a nice bar as soon as you walk in to your left. On the weekends that I've been there I had to wait from 10-15 minutes for a table for two. They have these chic chairs that you can sit and wait by the hostess area.

Stopped by for a drink and appetizers. The appetizers were very mediocre and the drinks were average while the price was relatively high. I think there are better places to stop into.

This is a must every time I go to NY. The food is amazing, the drinks delicious and I love the ambiance. The pineapple fried rice, pork chops, calamari, chicken wings and volcano chicken are all to die for. The Mojitos are large and strong.

Attended to celebrate a birthday with friends!!! Wonderful food and great food... Wonderful decor and very great service..The drinks and food are unbelievable, highly recommended..

I like spicy food when is a bout thai food, this is china food and never thai, my friend ordered pad thai and it did not like like it, i had drunken seafood and it was not good, sorry to say it but i do not recommend to try this place, maybe the inside looks nice but that is it, im a cranky old man and i like things to be the right way

Great decor and average food in this touristy Williamsburg Thai place. There are far better Thai restaurants to go to. Here it's more of a scene pseudo trendy with average food. I found it to be much better for lunch than the whole dinner scene. Thai food catered to the average American palate here. Average at best.

We went to Sea this past Sunday evening over Labor Day weekend. I had been to Sea a few times previously and the atmosphere continues to be cool and fun. The good was pretty good, sushi was great, some of the items were ok, not great. Drinks are always very good, and the Mojito does not disappoint! Definitely recommend this spot for a fun night out while in NYC. If staying in Manhattan the L is a quick ride over to Brooklyn and the Bedford avenue stop is just a couple blocks from Sea.

Poorly prepared food, rushed service, cacaphonic noise level. How did this clubby excuse for a restaurant get such good reviews. What passes for music is very loud repititive drum beats requiring patrons to shout to be heard. With a hundred people shouting Sea should be renamed Babel. The table was so sticky it probably hadn't been cleaned in weeks. No sooner had drinks been served but appetizers were shoved in front of us and entrees came soon after. The saki was not hot as ordered. The only heat the Malay curry had was in the spice. Malay curry sauce is supposed to be thick...mine was soupy. A feature of Malay curry is peanut flavor...mine had three peanuts. The food is cheap, the probable reason there were three birthday parties and a 20-person office group. Oh yes, when the bill came it was literally tossed on the table.

I have been at SEA Thai twice the last mouth. They have Thai food and sushi. It is really good. The prices is reasonable. I will be back.

I have been here twice now - I really do think that the food is good. Each time i have been with a group of friends - first time there were 4 of us, last week there were 5 of us. We waited for a few for seating - no big deal - they have a nice bar at the front of the house, so enjoying some wine before dinner and conversation with friends was fine. We were seated in about 10 mins this time, shown to a nice table - the noise level is fairly high, but not loud that you can't hear your company and enjoy good chat with each other. The menu offerings are very solid. I was starving when we walked in so I ordered a fairly robust grouping of appetizers. Tup Tim Fritters, Shrimp Shu Mai, Crispy Basil Spring Rolls and the Calamari Super bowl ....all were delicious, served hot with great sauces and more than enough to share with our group. Personal Fave Shrimp Shu Mai....have ordered them twice. My entree was simply Pad Thai with Chicken - very good, really enjoyed it - but I have to say one of my friends had the Classic Pork Chops - WOW!!! they were delicious, tender and moist - seasoned perfectly...will get those next time...of course this group of friends - we are a communal bunch so we tasted from everyone's plates - KL Chicken was really good loved the way the skin was seasoned and just kinda melted in your mouth...my Salmon loving buddy - had the grilled Salmon she raved over it...she is really a Salmon lover so I trust it was delicious...there were clean plates at the end of the night so draw your own conclusions. I enjoyed wine with dinner -but one of my friends had this Frozen Caipirinha – really refreshing…. Overall I would have rated this restaurant Excellent – but I find the staff to be very aloof and not really all that gracious…not sure what that’s all about – They are rude, but they are missing the mark when it comes to being warm and gracious – they just kind of tick the boxes of service – a little warmth would go a long way….Enjoy!.

This food is sooo good. The Sea has a great ambiance and vibe. Not crazy about the parking over there though. The service was average. But the food was on point. We had the sea chicken wings, Thai bun with pork, the Siamese fried rice and the Pad Thai with crispy pork belly. Drinks were Ok. But food made up for it.

food here has improved over time. This place can get very loud and crowded at night. Good for a large group of friends for birthday or girls or boy putting. They have a bar as well. Staff is quick and food came out quick as well. Presentation was nice and quality of food was good. when this place get crowded you may have to wait up to 20-40 minutes be prepared to sit bath the bar and wait if its crowded.

The only complaint about this place is paying $19.00 for 1 drink that didn’t have much alcohol. It was called The King. Taste was great but it needed a lot more alcohol. Food was amazing. Only a 20 minutes wait to be seated. Fun place for couples, friends, or parties. I would not recommend for small children. I went on a Sat night about 6:30. Music was great. I would give this place 5 stars if their drinks were better. I will be back just not going to drink.

This place is great. Food is really good and also the decoration. Good to take your significant other or just to go to have a good time with friends.

Tasty food and excellent service. I am yet to have a red snapper this good...anywhere. The ambience was cozy but classy. A nicely laid out rustic feel to a Thai menu. Simply delicious!

Came here with family for dinner. Music was a bit loud so we could not hear each other during our dinner conversation. Food was very good. We had the calamari and the curry puffs for appetizer. We ordered the salmon, pad Thai.chicken & shrimp.

I live outside of the USA and Sea Brooklyn never fails to impress me. Located in the Williamsburg area of Brooklyn (just off of 6th avenue) ..the service and the quality of the food at Sea remains consistently high year on year. For under $30 I was in my element as I was spoiled with a wide range of filling range of dishes such as the chicken wings and the sticky rice and I felt that my appetite had been satisfied adequately. With attentive waiting staff and a great trendy ambience without fail I would not hesitate to recommend Sea Brooklyn as a failsafe eatery that will cater for all tastes.

I ordered the salmon sushi and green iced tea. They had a mistake with my drink, laid it down said its green iced tea, and gave me some kind of ginger iced tea. Had to flag the waiter- then they apologised and gave me the correct tea. Secondly, ordered the salmon sushi 6 orders, it came late. By late i mean, at the end of my partners meal where he finished two orders of sushi and tempura, i wondered if they forgot it? It was not orange or bright in color, was almost pale and grey, and it tasted bad. About a hour later after leaving the place, i started throwing up and had to go to the hospital for food poisoning. I paid $79 plus a great tip. im so angry at this place! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Sea Thai offers authentic Thai in a casual, friendly atmosphere. Went as a group of 5, and spent nearly theee hours. The courses were spread out well, but not so far that you were left wondering were the next one was. Friendly, efficient staff. Recommend for a group.

The space is large and impressive... There's a little pond inside with a Buddah and a floating floral arrangement. The bathrooms are clean and unique, the food is sumptuous, and the prices are very reasonable. It becomes a nightclub on the weekend evenings, so that is not the time to bring the family. The pork chops are fantastic! Enjoy!

Now this was rather exciting, if I don't say myself. I've heard about Sea for the past few years and I've never had an occasion to find myself there because I'm always so busy running from one eatery to the next. This past weekend, however, I was invited to a surprise birthday party and wouldn't you know it, the restaurant choice was Sea. Finally, I'll have a chance to experience this Thai food I've head so much about. First of all, when you walk into Sea, your jaw drops because of its size and beauty. Don't get me wrong, it's not like your walking into Trump Plaza or the White House but for a restaurant it's beautifully appointed and esthetically pleasing to the eye. If the look doesn't get you, the ambiance and vibe will. The next things you will no doubt enjoy is the food and drinks. Not to mention the excellent service and friendly staff. I started my meal with an appetizer. Basically, it was a steamed shrimp dumpling but the sauce that was served with it, man on man was it out of sight. For my entree, I had a dish called the darkened Sea, it was loaded various seafood items and such. The sauce was amazing and I've included a picture for your viewing pleasure. Needless to say, Sea lived up to its reputation and Ive already made plans to return.

Went with friends and it is anice place kind of off the beaten path and on the beaten path. Food is good, but the waitstaff is not friendly, just "gi-me-order, I-gi-u-food, I-so-cool, do anythin-for-money" attitude. Has a club atmosphere, but chill and not paprazzi-so i'm not sure where the attitude comes from. Food is good thai, but nothing spectacular. But I don't need spectacular Thai food, just good. And it is affordable. And yes I'd go again- and just know that the staff are a bit full of it.

Visited on Sunday evening after a walk along the river with stunning views. Although quite busy, there was no waiting time. The decor was intimate and relaxed. Quick and friendly service and a delicious curry - would definitely come again. Great value for money.

I have been to SEA a handful of times and always had a good time. Based off of my experience, If you are into the party/nightlife, Friday night is the time to go. If you are looking to have a more quiet, intimate dining experience, Sunday afternoons might be a great opportunity to visit this restaurant. You can never go wrong with the Pork Chop, so if you feel like not experimenting and like pork I would definitely recommend that dish! Also the price is perfect. I have ordered at least three appetizers, two entrees and a dessert and paid less than $50 (not including tip)! The service is great as you will not wait long for your food. All in all, a good experience.

For someone frequently travelling to Thailand, it is always exciting to experience asian food outside it’s home. The crispy duck dish was amazing. When listed as spicy, I could wish for more chili, but the serving and fresh vegetables made up for it

Celebrated with some coworkers on their successful training process and securing their career at the biggest and best Transportation System in the Workd!!!

My family of 5 was looking for someplace for a late lunch. The hotel recommended this place. It’s exterior is unassuming. But walk through the doors and it transforms. High I beams, and a pond in the center create a quiet but welcoming environment. We ordered the pad Thai egg rolls appetizer. 3 rolls was enough for 5. The main courses were ok. The service was slow. And mandatory 18% tip for 5.

Went here for some warm-up drinks and dancing on a Friday night. DJ was great - played lots of techno and the energy of the crowd was high. This place gets very busy so arrive early. Loved the deco and ambiance! Such a great choice for a Birthday party or a one-stop eat and relax then party night. It's definitely a pumpin' spot in Brooklyn. You gotta check it out!

If you are looking for a reasonably priced Thai restaurant with delicious food, SEA is a good choice. If you want that to be coupled with good service, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. Perhaps their growth in popularity has shifted their service model to be to get folks in and out. But I prefer not to be overly rushed while dining. I also don't like to constantly be reminded of additional charges. So, that got old to me. Another things to be aware of is that there is a dj there on certain nights (which can be fun if you're looking for that kind of atmosphere). If your plan is to chat and catch up with friends over dinner, pick a day when the dj is not happening. Other than that, the food is seriously good. But there are lots of other really good Thai restaurants in the borough that also believe in good service.

My first time here and I loved the decor and atmosphere. Nice spot in Williamsburg. The food gave me life! I believe my dishes were called Tup tim Fritters, Martini Crispy Shrimp, Bubble Tea and molten lava cake with raspberry sauce and pistachio ice cream

Wonderful atmosphere! The food was great and offered a good portion size enough to take half home. But I guess that depends on your appetite. My favorite were the thai wings as an appetizer. The decor was beautiful. This is a great spot to take someone on occasion or for an intimate setting. The bathrooms were a little weird with a screen inside that showed a panoramic view of the restaurant. I was a kinda of freaked out by that. And the Sink was outside of the bathroom. Otherwise, everything else was awesome. Very affordable.

The ambiance of this place is amazing, from the swings to the tiki hut style bathroom stalls. The menu choice is awesome I can't wait to come back.

Wow. The ambiance is amazing, with DJs providing a modern, enjoyable environment. A gorgeous statue and spring inside, just well crafted interior. The service is great, and helpful (I lost my keys and they found them and gave it back within 15 minutes). And the food is phenomenal. I had the Red Sea Duck, and it was delicious. Also, I always get Thai Iced Tea, this time with bubbles!!! And it’s affordable. RECOMMEND!

Who could ever think a Thai restaurant with loud eurotechno music would be a good idea? No one! But SEA Thai pulled it off. The menu is on the large side which makes it very difficult to select the best dishes. I would stay away from the sushi dishes but that’s just my choice. It’s supposed to be Thai after all. The soups are excellent classics, duck is excellent and my favourite is the sautees. Especially with a shrimp! Enjoy and have a lot of fun!

Excellent local Thai food in the center of beautiful Williamsburg. A stone's throw from the east river. The location is splendid with lots of musical entertainment. Excellent tahi dish. If you like cooking, a recommended experience. Extremely abundant dishes, do not exaggerate with the number and specify mildly spicy…

Good food for reasonable price. I dined here with my family and 9 months old son and was SHOCKED that they do not have high chairs or changing tables.

Love this place. The food and drinks are excellent. The ambiance is fantastic. By far my favorite Thai restaurant in the city.

Extremely disappointed with the change of atmosphere in general and the service. 1. After sitting for more than 15 minutes, they asked us to move from the table due to an error, they had some other group set there on a reservation. 2. The plates that arrived at the table were out of order. 3. The restaurant has lost the Thai identity that characterized it for years. Now is no more than a chinese restaurant pretending to be Thai. If you really want to avoid a bad culinary experience I would say stay away from the SEA for now.

SEA never fails! ! A short walk from the Williamsburg waterfront you’ll find a great spot for dining and gathering with your friends & family. We love the fast and friendly servers. Not to mention the delicious menu choices. Get the pineapple & cashew fried rice, thank us later. A coconut mojito is a good time. Maybe 2! You are worth it! And well, who doesn’t love the instagram worthy decor!! Don’t forget to toss coins in the Goddess’ pool. Make reservations for large parties on the weekend to avoid a wait. Que Rico!-Lets’s Eat! Love, Frankie & Aracelis.

The food isn't bad, but skip it! There's much better thai in the neighborhood and SEA gets very clubby at night.

Sea is a restaurant that has an Asian motif for the decor. It titillates your senses by a proud bust of Buddha in a water fountain with a "SEA" ( if you will )and/or a boat filled with fresh flowers floating around in the center of the restaurant. The food is very good if you like Thai. There is always something interesting on the menu and drink list, and its a cozy place with good food and music as an ambiance.

This is a fun place to eat. The food is delicious my husband and I love the drunken noodle dish. I love their iced tea which is enthused with fruit nectar. The decor of this establishment is fun, for example they have a swing near the bar and the bathrooms have a tv that you can see the inside of the restaurant. We have been here several times and we are never disappointed. It gets very crowded and noisy.

The food was fresh but not very typical Thai food. The ambiance is nice and service is excellent. The Thais would call this Farang Thai food. Again, tasty and fresh to the average American but if you know real Thai food this is not that typical. Nice place and atmosphere for drinks, but go somewhere else if you want original Thai food.

I was very impressed with this restaurant. Very beautiful and romantic inside with the floating flower boat, swings and candles. Excellent food esp the grilled beef and peanut sauce. Loved the green tea cheesecake and thai iced tea. I will definitely return for the next date night. Highly recommend. Great service too!

Williamsburg is a decent area. We enjoyed the shops and the overall vibe. The atmosphere is trendy and so are most of the patrons, but the food is just average and our server kept disappearing...I was truly annoying. No plans to return

We stopped as it looks like an amazing place, and it's really beautiful and tastefully done inside. However the food was mediocre, the pad thai was not warm, but most importantly it was kind of tasteless, with very few peanuts. the green tea (that you have to pay for) was also warm and not hot. The cashew dish was quite good as were the ceasar salad.

We’ve been customers of Sea restaurant for over 10 years. Always loved it, awesome food, great service. But yesterday was absolutely horrible experience. We ordered our food, so the waitress started bringing our food and we were short of 4 items. So we kept asking where the food was. Hour later we asked again, she said soon. We never waited that long. So we waited for another 10 minutes and we asked to cancel the order. So the waitress( her name is Maria, at least that’s how she said her name is), brought our bill, and to our surprise 2 out of the missing items were on the bill. I asked her about it, she left, was talking to the other waiters, came with correct bill. Since we were not satisfied with the service we didn’t leave tips. We usually leave tips, yesterday was the first time we didn’t. So the bill was $82 and change, we gave $85. Maria came back with the tray, literally throwing it on the table and with the strong attitude saying:” Here is your change”. Unbelievable !!! Then we went upfront to ask to talk to the manager and we were told the manager was not in. So then Maria came up with the food that we ordered to go, saying that the food is ready. They were giving it to us for free. But honestly the evening was ruined and we didn’t want anything already. We were very upset about the whole experience at the restaurant. I hope that it was the only flaw and it would not happen again

The atmosphere isn't anything like I've seen before, it looks amazing inside the restaurant. There's rocking chairs hanging from the roof, a "lake" with a boat and a Buddha in it. It's a perfect go to spot to take a loved one. We ordered crab rangoons, curry puffs, tom kha soup (coconut galangal broth) with chicken for the appetizers and all of them were very tasty! For the entrees, the crispy pork in red curry sauce had a "kick" from the curry but I love spicy so it was amazing. The drunk man flat noodles was full of flavor and has lots of seafood and veggies. We were so full this time that we didn't have room for dessert and ended up packing some food to go. This place is definitely an experience and I will be back!

One of the best Thai restaurants I have been to! I had very nice noodles with the sea food which were amazing! I would strongly recommend that place!

This is one of our favorite spots to take our friends and family from out of town. When you go at night it seems like you must be in a nightclub. The disco ball, the dim lights, the loud music. If you want a place to chat---probably not the best place to go. They have cool restrooms (with tv view of the restaurant), outside trough like sinks, and the seating while you wait for a seat is two swings. (Or opt for a mini 3/4 egg to sit near the floor.) Bathrooms not always clean but sometimes that's because of the people before you. The food is sometimes not as good as other times but I've never had terrible food here. Love the spring rolls..they give you three small ones with good dipping sauce. Husband loved the calamari and the ribs. These are smaller size appetizers. Usually get the Pad Thai, Volcanic Chicken (which they put on fire which is pretty cool for guests to see..they are always amazed.), lemongrass chicken, and a must always...pineapple cashew chicken fried rice. Dessert: my favorite is the banana spring rolls with ice cream. Real unique for visitors. Or to wow: the fried ice cream which comes on fire again..guests always love the fire! Prices went up so not as cheap as before. Is a memorable dining experience that guests love...usually their first Thai restaurant. The Mojitos are real good, the Thai Iced Tea unique for first timers. Note: if allergic to fish or nuts, tell waiter and make sure your dish doesn't have in it.

Good Thailand food, the service was also good. The waiters were kind and always alert to retire plates and offer services. The place is nicely decoratwd, although dark for my preference.

This restaurant is a must try. It is so unique. From the bathroom booths (crazy cool), hype music, gorgeous fountain with tables surrounding its perimeter, and the most delicious Thai food I have ever eaten. We started at the bar, while the children enjoyed the indoor swings close by. I got two piña coladas with a wonderful amount of alcohol. We made our way to our table for 7. We started with 4 orders of spring rolls for the table. They come as a trio for $7 each. Very yummy. I ordered the pineapple fried rice (it came highly recommended) and I added tofu. My niece ordered the orange chicken, my son the pork chops and my brother in law some kind of seafood in an edible dish. Every single one of us cleared our plates. I am a light eater, but I just couldn’t stop enjoying every single morsel. Flipping FABULOUS!!!!! It was so delicious and the portions were SUPER generous. You have to check this place out for the decor alone. #mindblown The only “negative” they kept trying to put other people’s food on our table....it could have been a positive but we are honest folks and let them know it wasn’t ours.

This place is garbage. Customer service is worst than a takeout place. experience I ever had in any restaurant and the food is not that great either. And the tip came out more than any dish I ordered

Excellent food, worth the try and the wait, however the service is very questionable, they were not friendly at all and made it seem like they do not have experience at serving. They gave us a tiny table for two, therefore we did not have a lot of space for our dishes. As the dishes arrived, the server looked at us upset because there was no space for the food, truly not our fault on that matter, we helped make room at the table but she still left unhappy, almost as if we had to serve ourselves. The restaurant is beautiful and has great music.

My sister and her family took both my husband and I for lunch. Were were visiting New York for a few days. The food was tasty and the variety is excellent. Prices aren't bad also. The ambiance is so cool. Sorry I didn't get the name of our waiter. Overall great experience. Would be sure to come back.

OMG! This place is awesome! I love it! The atmosphere is cool and the staff is very friendly. I ordered the red snapper and I'm going to order another to go! 😆😆

Not a big Thai food eater but when it’s the only thing open till 130am you make taste bud changes. Great atmosphere, upbeat and different. The pineapple rice is amazing as well as the crab Rangoon. The drinks were very strong. For a last min choice wasn’t bad at all.

I visited the sea with my family for my stepsons birthday and there were a few things that could be better. 1. We had with us an 87 year old woman and they could not accommodate her with a chair with a back on it, because there were 7 of us we were sat at a big table with benches. 2. They don't have high chairs for toddlers to sit in, trying to sit a toddler on a bench for dinner was not an easy task. 3. Three of us ordered a grilled pork chop dinner and the meat was pink or not fully cooked. This place is nice if you want to go for drinks and have a club environment, music is too loud for normal conversations to be had.

thai restaurant serving good food (alot of selection and big portions) nice enough staff, play solid techno and house throughout the evening, well priced (10-14$ main 6-8$ side) overall enjoyed and would recommend

This place is very good to eat. The prices are very modest, and the food is very good. The mojitos are very very good as well. There are plenty of bars to go to around. Great neighborhood.

No reservations required. Unique decor eclectic nothing really matched. Fish pond needed attention. Wait staff not fluent with English language; difficulty explaining dish ingredients and preparation.Soup was delicious made to order. Duck dishas good large portion. Fried shrimp rice had burnt aftertaste.Whole Pickerel over cooked and Lobster too. Cashew Chicken swimming in sauce but tasty. Drinks good taste but not chilled. Will try another venue next visit.

food and ambiance was fantastic. staff were helpful. i had 4 glasses of Strawberry Mojito and i was on the high by the time i left there. It was such a lovely night.

There haven't been too many food places that go wrong in New York and this isn't one of them either. I love the decor the pond in the middle of the resuarant. The lively weekend atmosphere and the food doesn't dissappoint either. Dec. Go check it out and make a reservation because it gets crowded.

I have visited this restaurant twice now and each time I have loved it. The food is amazing and has lots of options to choice from. It’s really cheep and the restaurant itself is beautiful.

Went there with fiends to celebrate a birthday. Reception of staff is below average. We were seated and honestly it was a long time before our waiter showed up. I was actually about to walk out. Service and attitude is not their best attributes. They can definitely improve in this area. Additionally after the food arrives there are these bus boys that just come over to the table to game plates away. It’s their way of pushing customers to eat up and leave. Drinks took a long time to be served. We had to remind them twice. Food is honestly very average and nothing special. Thai food is supposed to be more tasty and with flavor. I honestly think street food would be better. The setup is somewhat interesting. Bathrooms limited and somewhat disgusting. Price wise, again way above their quality and service. In a nutshell. Not worth it.

The food was great! Atmosphere a bit bizarre. Had the whole server thought he was a bit too cool and the bathroom is in the center of the room and kind of porta potty like feel... but the food being good made these things kind of forgettable.

So I returned for the third time to the Sea. This time with my California girl and her friend who was visiting from Europe. I wanted them to experience what I had during the past couple of visits. A food orgy for their taste buds. Thank you Sea for not letting us down. We started with the drinks which were amazing. Appetizers of Crab Rangoons, Whitefish sushi and also Soft Shell Crab rolls. Entrees of Beef Pad Thai and a Spicy Shrimp dish with shredded veggies. Both dishes were excellent and there was so much food that we didn’t have room for dessert. People around us were celebrating many many birthdays on the night that we were there. We were also celebrating a bunch of birthdays and events while visiting Brooklyn including America’s birthday. They were completely surprised and elated by the atmosphere the service and mainly the food which was perfectly prepared. Thanks Sea Thai for not letting me down once again.

I am so glad I got to eat here while on vacation. The Thai Curry was the best I've ever had. Service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was delightful and upbeat. Several people around me were having birthdays and staff seem to have various types of b-day delights. Price was on point!

This is a "hot spot restaurant". It's very popular especially for large groups. However, the food is mediocre as is the service. It's just a place to say to say you have been.

Really liked the vibe of the place — relaxed but stylish. Cocktails were well made, and the fried rice with duck and the curry were both very tasty. Overall a good experience, woul come back.

I love sea !!! I have to go here every time I'm in New York ! It's an absolute must ! The vibe is amazing and the entire place is so chic ! I love the authenticity of the food and it is so delicious ! For such a great place and food ... I am SO happy to say the prices are very decent ! They are not high at all! And that's what puts the icing on top of the cake for me ! I will always love SEA!

We visited as a family on a Monday. They didn’t seem too busy and we were told our wait for a table would be ten minutes, and it ended up being close to 30 min. We ordered our food after about 15-20 minutes and two out of the five dishes we ordered came about 10-15 minutes before the other three. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was as bland as I have ever tasted. The other dishes we ordered were Garlic Chicken, Cashew Chicken, Drunkman Noodles and Curry. The other dishes excepting the Pad Thai were pretty good. As for the ambience and decor the music was loud and you could hardly hear, it was so dark I could barely read the menu, the decor was thrown together I don’t know what kind of theme they were trying to portray. Just a very chaotic feel to it all.

Came herevwith a party of 12 for a birthday dinner and we had a blast. The service, food and atmosphere was great. Will definitely go back.

Visited sea twice so far as of this review once in august and again in September. Both times I was left impressed the decor and ambience of this place is so cool and chill. They have bar/table seating live dj playing music and a wonderful water fountain in the middle of the property. The pad Thai chicken/shrimp amazing and the prices are very good.

The modern cool decor always makes it a fun special place to go with a group! Just live the meditation pool in the center of the restaurant and the funky furniture. Everyone always enjoys SEA so much. The menu is huge. The food is really good. Even if you go with someone who is not a big Thai food lover the menu is so large that they would definitely find something they enjoy. Some of our favorite appetizers are Martini shrimp, chicken curry puff and spring rolls. A fun and delicious entree is the Volcano Chicken which is roasted chicken that comes to you lit up in flames. No worries, it goes out quickly. The desserts are delicious too! The price and value of the food is unbeatable. Weekends get crowed and they do not take reservations for small groups, but the wait is well worth it!

Dishes are on point and the ambiance is cool, but if youre heading on a Fri_Sat night prepare to wait in a crowd of people hanging and lounging by the bar.

Love the food here! Always amazing.... It can get very loud at night.. so if you are to enjoy the food.. come at lunch or early at night before the dj turns it into a club!

SEA has always been a good place for Thai. I've enjoyed all visits except the last one. I took my family out to eat which included 3 minors. The food was good as usual but the service was horrible. When the waiter brought out menu he provided everyone with one and then provided a 12 year old the drink menu by hand which I quickly grab but unexceptable. In addition I only saw the waiter when he brought the food. Waiter never checked to see if we needed water refilled or even out drinks refilled never asked how everything was going and if the food was ok. Noone likes an annoying waiter but stopping in to check is always necessary at least once. The thing that upset me was when the check came again he gave to the 12 year old and it included 18% gratuity. Now I'm a strong believer of tipping even more than 15% when the service is good. I was very upset at this as the tip was $25 and I don't think the waiter deserved it. He didn't do anything. I would not go again not just because of tip but the overall experience. It seems that being a waiter here is a great job you can get tipped $25 per table w/o doing anything but bringing food.

The food was delish. We had the spicy seafood main, drunken noodles (YUM), pork chops and about 3-4 appetizers. All were very good. I loved the dumplings and the egg rolls. The seafood was great as well. All fresh and service was pretty fast. The place is fun. It's almost set up like a nightclub with blaring music. It is not a quiet place and they don't take resos so you might wait a while. Bench seats are not super comfortable but who cares? They are killing it with the food.

I've been to quite a few Thai restaurants in NYC. This one did not compare to the others in terms of the food. don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. the place was really to dark to see your place well and the music was too loud to have a decent conversation. that includes hearing the waiter when ordering. the place just seemed a little pretentious.

This COULD have been a nice place to eat. But it's just not. This is a Techno/House-Music Club masquerading as a Thai restaurant. The music is LOUD! I mean REALLY loud!!! You literally have to scream to communicate, as you cannot hear the person sitting across the table from you. Ridiculous for any restaurant. The decor is nice and the food is actually pretty good Thai fare. But it's just not the kind of place to enjoy a meal. The constant BOOM-BOOM-BOOM really wears you out after a while. I wanted to like this place, but could not. There are so many other good Thai restaurants one can dine at...without having their senses overwhelmed with ear-splitting "music". I do not recommend this restaurant.

The ambience to this place is amazing! Food was delicious. A lot of variety. Only downfall is that when the weather is cold the seating in the front you feel the wind from outside, but it's the coolest seating next to the water. Definitely recommend for special occasions and good thai food. My wife and I went on our anniversary there; )

Went to Sea for lunch and the food was amazing. We ordered the Martini Crispy Shrimp and the Stuffed Crab Rangoon for appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai and it was delicious. Each dish had a great presentation, great atmosphere and had a nice selection of cocktails. I would definitely recommend this place and cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a great experience.

We made reservations here after a friends recommendation during our recent NYC trip. We had cocktails at the bar when we arrived which were delicious and we were immediately impressed with the look of the restaurant. We were seated and ordered our food fro the waitress who just didn't seem like she wants to be there. Half of the starters came out while the other half of the party (of 6) sat waiting, We asked where the other starters were and she just said they were coming. No apologies. The mains arrived and they hadn't cleared our plates from the starters. We weren't given clean cutlery, they just took our used cutlery off the plates for us to use again. The same issue occurred with the mains, none of them came at the same time. I really enjoyed my food but the others found it hit and miss and the service was so bad it detracted from the ambience of the location and the quality of some of the food. Maybe we were unlucky? Who knows, but I wouldn't go again.

Well, Williamsburg has evolved into an overall eyesore, thats for sure. But 7-or-so years ago, when wburg was still cool, Sea still sucked! The food is terrible. The music - which is usually really bad pop/dance/hip-hop music, is played so loud you have to scream at the person next to you. The service is on par with the ambiance. The worst part is, it seems to mainly attract tourists - no one from the area EVER goes here! Basically gaggles of 14 year old girls and their parent chaperones from Long Island, or generic tunnelers from New Jersey find their way out to N. Brooklyn just because of this restaurant. I partially blame places like Sea for ruining Williamsburg and Bushwick by bringing all the wrong people into N Brooklyn. If you think Sea is cool, you probably would like Times Square, so go check out Guy Fieri's restaurant instead.

The food is pretty good. Not the best, but definitely not bad. The ambiance cannot be appreciated, because you feel like your in a club. I left there with a sore throat because I was yelling the whole time. I may have to go back on a weekday, but I would never go back on the weekend.

Went to Sea Thai on a Sunday night along with 4 other people. Our waiter arrived soon after we were seated, we ordered our appetizers which came in a timely manner. Our entrees didn't take long to be served and they got all our orders correct. The food was typical Thai food and they had decent sized portions. The price was affordable for 5 adults and service was good.

Along with the food, the atmosphere is second to none, enjoy lunch or dinner by the indoor pool while flower petals float by! I had the salmon and was the best I've ever eaten, cooked to perfection and plated beautifully. Swing while you wait on their giant wooden Swing! I will be back!

Truely loved this experience - excellent food and service in a fabulous environment. The Servers were in point and the food delicious. Would recommend and we will be back

I've came here before on many occasions and every time I leave the place I always wonder why I came back. Food is always bland and not authentic, the apps are decent, no high chairs or even booster chairs for kids. Spend your money somewhere else.

The ambiance is great and the drinks are really stiff but my experience with the food was very lack luster. The curry puffs were like warm and my entrees were just ok. Frankly, my local Chinese spot has way better renditions and a much more attractive price. All in all I was very disappointed with Sea. With all ppl have told me, I was expecting more.

Came here for Mother's Day celebration because a lot of my friends recommended this restaurant and to be honest it was not even that good. I made reservation a week before and took us 45 mins to be seated. We finally got our seat and it took another 35 minutes for our server to take our order. Appetizers came in 10 minutes and main course took 20 minutes. So I recommend getting appetizers if you know you can't wait. The waiters were very unprofessional . They showed rude facial expression to myself and my mother when we asked about certain foods. They brought our main dishes and could not even clear the appetizer dishes and they were just pushing aside the plates to find place. They made our drinks and put it in plastic cups. Who does that? We asked for glasses and they were rude. Food was very salty. So every thing tasted the same. Did not enjoy the food and mainly the food at all. Even finding parking was hell. Would not visit this restaurant again. Environment was nice I must say

DO NOT EAT HERE. Service is horrendous, management is useless and the place is unsanitary! We were here for a bday with a friend. A patron, who the restaurant let get way too drunk, vomited directly next to our table, getting on both my girlfriend, I, and our parties food. The restaurant refused to take responsibility for the issue. They tried to make the man who vomited pay and he was crying from embarrassment (and I think hardly to blame). We escalated to management and only got our appetizers refunded and the table moved. Our entire party was traumatized and a few of us were sick later that night. Not to mention our clothes cleaning etc. What made things worse was that the staff barely cleaned up the mess, and sat another party at our old table! I have never seen a restaurant handle an issue so poorly.

I dropped in on a weekday afternoon for lunch with some colleagues from out of town. Everything was fresh and fast. We shared some fritters and some calamari as an appetizer and it was super tasty. We also ordered the pork chops (my fav), pad Thai, and chicken w/cashews to share--everyone loved all 3 dishes. No complaints. The cocktails were on point too- the perfect blend of taste and alcohol content. Sea is always a sure bet and I'm glad I brought my guests here.

My partner and I have visited SEA twice now when visiting the city and it is our favourite restaurant. Ambience very classy, delicious cocktails and great food! We went here two weeks ago and we both had the spicy drunken noodles which were amazing. Make sure you visit SEA if you want great Thai food in a fantastic surrounding with a great vibe.

For my overnight stay in Brooklyn, (we were cruising the next day), we chose this restaurant. Very disappointed. Food was good but the noise level was loud and overbearing. We asked them to lower the PA system of rock music. We were screaming to try and talk during dinner. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Cockails are reasonably expensive but huge, so still good value. I had the KL chicken which is one of the best meals I've ever had! Highly recommend.

My daughter reserved this restaurant because her mother in law goes there all the time with friends. It’s one of their favorite restaurants to go for dinner and the area is great near the seaport. The restaurant is really nice as you walk in there is a big Buddha with a pool of water where people make wishes. You can sit by it but we were a large group of people so we had a large wooden table but comfortable. The staff took care of us right away. The food was affordable and delicious. I love the sticky coconut rice, the appetizers were great and we order different types to get a taste. They celebrate my birthday with cake and they put a crown of plastic colorful flowers on my head with a birthday sign and everyone took pictures. On our way out we took pictures on swing and chairs. Then we went to the seaport which was walking distance. We took more pictures, if you want to get to that part of Brooklyn there is a ferry to get to the restaurant, coffee shops and eateries. It’s a beautiful area and it’s up and coming with construction. The Williamsburg bridge to Brooklyn can get you to the area also or the train.

this restaurant has great food and good service. We always get the drunken noodles. You have to try their iced teas with fruit nectar it's amazing. The prices are very good. This restaurant has a fun vibe as soon as you walk in. It also has a nice bar.

Ok so, I went here a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. The drinks are horrible and over priced but the food was always tasty. When my dad visited from PR I figured why not take him here to expose him to some new delicious food? biggest mistake EVER!!!! I must say the clientele has changed, and the crowd seemed very "ghetto" we should have left. But stayed. The appetizers were great. I can't remember what I had, but my dad ordered the garlic chicken with white rice. Half way through the meal we both spotted a ROACH! belly up nice and sauteed w/the chicken. When i told the waiter he looked at me like i had planted the roach or something! I was so embarrassed and felt so bad for my dad. Needless to say I have NEVER stepped foot in that place and will tell everyone that will listen about my gross experience

I never really been disappointed with Sea thai restaurant but at night it can be really noisy so it will be pretty hard to hear your date muchless hear yourself chew... ( not that you would want to.. just saying. Its prety loud) their food is great. Love the appetizer. The emeralds dumplings are my favorite with the Lai Li drink. The menu options look tasty. Weekends and nights get busy so make reservations. Dont attempt to ealk in

The 1st time I had SEA thai., I had this dish...it was a FLAMING CHICKEN or something like that, it came to the table literally ON FIRE ...I had to blow it out....it was the tastiest thing I ever tasted..The pad thai noodle dishes are great too. I'm allergic to shellfish, and theres a lot of shellfish items on the menu, however, theres a lot of non shellfish items that are very tasty!!! I like Buddha statues and things like that, and in the middle of the restaurant, at the top of this pond (yes a pond in the restaurant) is this Buddha statue...very eye catching.... the food and the ambiance, makes this one of my favorite restaurants...AND ITS IN BROOKLYN!!!!

Decor and seating very unusual. There is a special section geared to couples. Bathroom facilities are also unusual and may present some challenges. The dish presentations are eye catching and seemingly enticing. The menu is extensive and the attendant was very helpful in altering the menu to accommodate our requests. The portions were satisfying . Service was efficient.

Been coming here for years. The ambiance is really mellow and relaxing, the decor is unique and cool. The food has always been delightful.

Good food, cool spot if your on a date or with a partner! Mojitos are well worth a try as is the Pad Thai

I came here a couple times with Co workers and friends. The atmosphere is inviting and didn't have to wait long to be seated and served. One of my Co workers knew or server so that may have contributed to the great service, however, when I went with friends, the wait was only slightly longer. Food was delicious and the drinks were good ! The first time I went, I had the drunken noodles and the next time I had fried calamari, shrimp and creme brulee for dessert. I will go again soon

It tries to be everything - a club, a bar and an upscale dining place all in one but ends up doing none of those things well. When we arrived for dinner, there was a live DJ blasting electronic club music at full volume, yet nobody was dancing. Nor was there any space to dance even if people wanted to. The music was so loud that it was impossible to talk even on the other side of the restaurant at the dining area. This also totally contradicts the atmosphere that they try to create in the dining area with Buddhist sculptures, pond with floating flowers etc that supposedly should radiate calm and presence. The food menu is huge, yet none of the dishes that we tried were memorable. And as we couldn't talk properly we just wanted to get done with dinner as quickly as possible and move on. The drinks at the bar come in huge vessels and with a price tag to match, yet are pretty heavily watered down. And final peeve - the bathroom stalls are located behind a weird see-though wall of beads. At a stretch it could maybe work at an eclectic club, but not in a restaurant... Overall, its a very confused place that I'm not planning to return to any time soon. Plenty of better options around the area.

This was our 1st visit to this joint that I believe is part of Spice restaurants. The decor and the size of the restaurant is very impressive the food not so much. Ordered the green papaya salad with sticky rice, the salad came first when I was dune with the salad the rice came, the green papaya salad was very sweet and not spicy not even close to what I know from other Thai restaurants. The main dish pineapple ginger shrimp wasn't impressive as well, we had pad Thai as well very basic, the chicken sate wasn't good as well. Overall not a good visit to this place.

Good menu with lots of items to choose from. I have the chicken curry and rice. You could select from mild, medium or hot curry. My husband had a noodle dish that he was very pleased with.

We had a referral. Mine and my wife's meal were luke warm and we both had shrimp. Hers was pad tai and mine was pineapple fried rice with shrimp. We both felt bad the next day . Our son had some veggie dish which I guess was ok. Also place has a dj and music is so loud you really have a hard time conversing. Wait staff was not that good either. Very disappointed and we won't return. First and only visit there. We were in town visiting our son. Save your money and find a better place!

We had a blast during the Sunday, great to be in the neighborhood, first time in the Restaurant, but not the last, try Salmon Black Sea, tasty and well presented courses, ready to take pictures ;)

I really love thai food, and the best ever thai I had was in Sea! Atmosphere is very cool! Staff is great! If theres any chances you can go to this place,- do it!

We celebrated a birthday here and luckily had a reservation. It was crowded on a Saturday night. It is a really cool restaurant and the interior is amazing. Really cool. The food is delicious and the service quite okay. Some misunderstandings due to the language differences! 😉 Be aware that the restaurant turns into kind of a club and they have a DJ.... due to that don't expect easy conversations or a quite atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. A must for Thai food fans!!!

Amazing food :) must try their classic steak, it is definitely amazing. The Long Island ice tea a unique, never had anything like this before :) . Long wait almost everyday. But worth the wait

This place was apparently very hot a few years ago. It has the interior design of a typical "trendy" place, plus loud music and extremely dim lights. Food was nice and staff was friendly, but I must say it didn't strike me as delicious or surprising. It was a serving of quite traditional thai. I could definitely go there again, but it was no wow experience.

Food: 4/10 Service: 6/10 Location: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 (maybe a bit loud) Drinks: 7/10 Restrooms: 8/10 Reception upon arrival: 7/10

Very clean place.. excellent environment and service. The food was good and drinks too. It is located in a good neighborhood..

My friends took me here for my birthday, at 5p.m it is busy in here with so many people. It's crazy in here. The food was good, two things that bothered me, one the music was a bit too loud, we could barely hear one another; two the waiter forgot some of our orders, so we had to wait a bit. Over all the place is nice and the food is good. They do not take reservations for parties less than 8 people.

Ok so I'm not new to the Sea restaurant, but the location I used to go to was in the meatpacking district. It seems like they closed down so I found out they had a second location in williamsburg so I decided to check it out. From the tables, to decor, to the bathroom this place was well thought out before opening. Everything was very modern and a clubby vibe which I don't really mind. Sea doesn't take reservations so you can just show up and request a table from the hostess. They ask for your phone number so they can text you when your table is ready. So the hostess told me that it will be a 20-30 minute wait, I didn't mind because it was a Saturday. Luckily it took about 10 minuted before I got a text and I was pretty happy it didn't take as long as it was predicted. So when were showed our table our waiter came right after (two thumbs up) and took drink orders. Drinks came out pretty quickly which is always a good thing. We ordered appetizers and our main course at the same time, which didn't take too much time to come out and everything we ordered was actually very flavorful which made me keep eating even though I was so full lol. The waiter was very attentive and always came to come check on us to see if we needed anything, which I really liked because it was so busy. But, overall this restaurant yet again didn't disappoint me. Will be back again.

Heard good things about this restaurant. Not sure if management changed but this place is disgusting. The drinks are watered down and a food is Thai imitation. The table was sticky and the service non existent. They don't care . Is non expensive by NYC standards. But should have went to better places near by. How do you mess up pad Thai? This place manages to do that.

Wonderful Thai food in Brooklyn! Great atmosphere and friendly staff! I highly recommend the duck and also try the curry!!!

Took my 14 year old for a birthday celebration only to be disappointed. Firstly, the restaurant could use a good once over! My table was sticky and the place could use a good face lift. It just gave off that old and abused vibe. The bathroom which is just a bunch of pods in the restaurant, offering no privacy to wash up, was disgusting and no better than a porta Johhny. Thank god the bartender made an awesome cocktail, because my meal was horrendous, expensive, and I had to stop for something to eat on my way back to New Jersey. Imagine paying 30 dollars for a entree you can't chew! My rib eye was not fit for my dog! Do yourself a favor, find another restaurant! Sitting in traffic for two hours only to be dissatisfied made my blood boil. What a horrible day!

I love the feeling of the space and often sit by the small pond they have in the center of the restaurant. I love the fried red snapper with the chili sauce on the side. The presentation is amazing and the food is delicious.

I love this place. Its a great dinner/ pre-night out restaurant. Music is great, the service is OK at times depending if its busy but thats ok. I always get the sea chicken breast. Its amazing, probably one of my favorite all time thai dishes from a restaurant.

Sea is a trendy, vibrant space that gives off a fun vibe when you enter. The menu is eclectic, the descriptions are enticing, and prices reasonable. Unfortunately, the food is a disappointment. Nothing ordered by my party of six was better than mediocre, and some dishes were big misses. The Royal Pork Red Curry, for example, was dried out and immersed in a very soupy liquid with vegetables that were borderline raw. The Rib Eye was gamy, lacked char, and came on a plate with pathetic looking potato strings and a pool of a tart sauce. In addition, the Grilles Spare Ribs were tough, and the California Roll wasn't very fresh. It also seems as if sauces are used to conceal quality. If atmosphere trumps food, than Sea might be worth patronizing. However, I would stick to the simpler dishes (like fried rices and pad thai) and stay away from the more ambitious and expensive items on the menu.

Really nice atmosphere but some employees really ruin it for customers. We were a party of 7. I took my family there who was visiting from another country. They told us it will be a 25 mins wait which I totally understand. After 1 hour, we were finally called to our table. A server did not come to our table until after 1/2 hour. We then ordered our food which did not arrive after 45 mins. By then we were starving and our food arrived colder than our dogs nose. That's when I've had it! I ask for the manager which was a big mistake. His name is Ding, ( if I spell that correctly). We explained that we have been waiting close to 2 1/2 hours upon arriving for food. He argued and argued and argued. On top of that his breath was sticking up the place ( no lie) we had to ask him to please leave our table and by then we lost our appitite. Just a warning, look out for Ding!

Something for everyone. We brought a group of friiends here who were visiting nyc , and we all loved it. It's hard to pick a favorite dish, but the crab rangoon, black noodles, pineapple rice, and molten lava cake with pistachio ice cream are exceptional. Great room, great service.

Went here with a party of 12 on a Tuesday night. The service was good and the atmosphere relaxed and fun. The food was really great. It was a bit loud for our group and conversations was a bit tricky because of it. Overall a good experience- recommended.

Went there woth friends and it was a great lunch !! We had pad tai, sushi, drinks, rice with coconut and everything was seved warm quick and with excelent quality in every plate ! I´ll be coming back very soon !

Absolutely fabulous, from the chicken wings to the volcano chicken to the pineapple fries rice and pork belly.. the ambiance is breath taking, super causal, super fabulous!!!

The food is outstanding, but I will never return!!! It’s too bad the management hasn’t figured out that this isn’t a club and shouldn’t have ear-drum-popping-loud music playing while people have come to have a relaxing supper. Not only was it loud, but totally inappropriate music for this type of restaurant. Although the food was delicious, I did not enjoy my meal and did not enjoy yelling to be heard. Furthermore I was mortified to see that there were young children for whom the acceptable decibel level was certainly exceeded. If you want this music, wait til after 10:00, but not while people are trying to enjoy their supper. I felt like I left a torture chamber when I walked out.

We turned up without a reservation on a Wednesday night & luckily we could get a table. The atmosphere is really really nice, the food is good (and a lot) & it is not to expensive. Our main dish was 17$. Don't forget to go to the toilet. It's a strange feature that you can watch other people eating on a tv screen, while sitting on the toilet. But hé, it's Williamsburg ;-) We took the subway from manhattan and this was quick & easy to do.

My friends and I went here on a Friday night and only had a 20 minute wait. Our food was amazing and the location is in my favorite area in Brooklyn

Had a group on and wanted to have some normal food other than buffet. I was pleasantly surprised at how good their dishes were. Honey walnut shrimp and calamari were both descent appetizers with good portion. The former would have been better with more crispy batter. The calamari was a little too dry to chew easily but still had good flavor. My main dish was geyser shrimp in clay pot (chef special). That was the highlight of the meal! It had three giant prawns grilled to perfection on a bed of flavorful glass noodle, which covered various vegetables. Price was high even with group on but the dish was so good that I'd pay the full price to have it again.

I've been going to this place for years and its still the same. The décor is pleasing to the eyes. The big Buddha and the small water pond in the middle of the restaurant is very relaxing. The food hasn't disappointed as yet. Great for lunch and dinner.

The place is a little dark service is great and the food is amazing had the curry chicken and it was outstanding and the amount if food is enormous I could not even it dessert that's how full I was. I would recommend this place to anyone I know.

This restaurant can be a little pricey, but it's the best in town. From the food to the ambiance this place tops it all. The only problem is getting a table, so reserve ahead or try going during the work week.

A friend and I went to this restaurant for my birthday the food was delicious the atmosphere was great and most of all it was very cheap we ordered 4 appetizers and 2 entrees and spent only $40...we had the calamari, wings, spring rolls and shrimp and chicken on stick (don't remember what it was called) my friend had the seafood rice bowl and I had the classic pork chop all of it was delicious would definitely visit again in the near future

Very nice inexpensive delicious fresh food , the vibe at this place is always cool very lively and the food is always on point !

One of the first in that neighborhood but now so many more better choices to choose from. Decent fare good for drinks.

I used to love going to SEA when they had their Meat Packing district location. When I realized they had a Brooklyn location I had to go and try it out. The food is AWESOME and so are the drinks. I love going here with friends just to hang out, eat and have a few drinks.

Visited New York for a few days last week and decided to visit Sea in Brooklyn. I used to eat a lot in this place back when I used to live in New York (about 10 years ago). I must say the food is still awesome, the music is great, but the service was not was I remembered. It took forever for our waiter to take our order, the food arrive and we didn't even have cutlery (or chop-sticks) on our table. Food arrived before the drinks. I'll keep going back because of the food, it's always great.

Food is super delicious and affordable service was super friendly , also it gets packed so make sure to make reservations! Good music and ambiance.

Visited on Valentine's day and it wasn't that busy because we had early reservations. The food was good, the service was aight. We waited too long for our food. By the time we got the appetizers we were on the 2nd drink. My friends who had the reservations 15 minutes after us got their food before us. Other then that it was good.

Stumbled upon Sea while shopping in Williamsburg on Very cold day. Great find with large lunch portions. Started with very hot spring rolls and chicken lettuce wraps. Entrees of chicken curry pasta and pork chop over fresh veggies. A lot of food for money!

Great for veggies, and some of the best Thai inspired food we’ve had. Prices were reasonable and the portions were good. The thai basil spring rolls were to die for! Great atmosphere for a evening out together. It’s a big space but the team have worked it well with good sized tables and spacing so it still felt intimate for us as a couple.

I realy enjoyed this resterant the wait staff was friendly and kind even though we were dealing with a grumpy two year old my wife and i felt welcome.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT.... From the atmosphere to the food and the service. Service is super quick... The food is very affordable and delicious. Definitely a must visit. Super busy all the time but that should tell you that is a good place.
Fantastic
What a great place. The ambience was perfect. Service was incredible and food was delivered fast and it was delicious! We went on a Sunday evening and even had a DJ. If you like electronic dance, You’ll love the place. The music wasn’t blasting and you could hear the conversation just as well.
