Overbooked Thanksgiving dinner experience

By Christian B |

My wife and I have booked Thanksgiving for many years and have never been disappointed as the food was outstanding and the service great. This year unfortunately the restaurant was overbooked and the standards dropped. It begun with the check-in, they could not find the reservation for several minutes. Then, for the first time, we were not seated at the requested table and were placed near the bar where the servers pick up the drinks. We witnessed several unprofessional behavior of the servers waiting for their drinks at the bar. The food was average, the gravy on the Thanksgiving dinner looked gelatinous and not very appetizing. We also ordered Cauliflower florets as a side dish which we had to send back because they were cold. Branon our server did an excellent job. He was very attentive and polite.

Good Eats

By Braave1982 |

Our family had dinner and each of us ordered a different entree. Each of us loved our main entree!! We also ordered a bottle of wine off the menu recommended by the sommelier. We thoroughly enjoyed the wine.

Top Restaurant with Healthy menus

By Rockdoc7 |

One of the best restaurants in Houston. Excellent food and service with very modern decor. Nice location in City Center just off Beltway 8 and Highway 10... very easy to get to. I has Caramalized scallops over butternut squash risotto which was fantastic and my friend had cedar plank salmon. Will definitely go back

Fresh, tasty, but nothing unusual

By Eric M |

It's not another steakhouse. This outpost of the Seasons 52 chain is a good option if you are tired of the "big slab o' meat" places.I had the trout and it was just a bit dry. The tomato salad appetizer was tasty. For a group of six, we had a round table that facilitated conversation and the noise level was manageable. The server was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and attentive.

Wonderful food, but terrible technology

By JT1952 |

This is a follow up to a previous review. This restaurant continues to excel in food and service; however, it has one major problem. There is no internet or phone service available within the restaurant. They offer free wifi, but that is useless when you can't get any bars on the phone. I was expecting an important call and had to literally leave the restaurant and stand by the valet stand to get a signal. Come on, Season's 52, install some wifi repeaters, so you have a decent signal!!

I seriously don’t like to give such low ratings but this restaurant deserved it. We were astounded to see such poor service. We were in a large group, they were not able to handle it. The orders were wrongly placed and some of the orders did not even come. We just gave up and ate the food that was received as the kids were hungry. I have to admit it was not a good experience and surely we will not be going back ever and will let our friends know about the poor service. The food was not at all worth the price charged. Better pull up their socks or the word will spread.

Saturday night dinner for delayed Valentine celebration.

By Bear11153 |

We have dined here before and as always were pleased. The menu changes with the season and always includes many healthful items. I noted on this seasons menu the beef was grass fed. The food is delicious, the atmosphere very nice and the prices very reasonable. We will come again.

Incredibly disappointed

By Englis Setter lovers from Texas |

Had an early dinner with my husband & couldn't believe how awful the majority of our food was. I ordered the warm caprese salad, which was terrific. My husband ordered the NY strip & to say shoe leather would be more tender is accurate. The steak appeared to have never been trimmed, the fat & gristle was hugely disproportionate to the meat. I also ordered the Asian chicken skewers from the appetizer menu as my entree & they too were awful. The chicken wasn't cooked. We said something to our waiter about both & he didn't seem to care. All be asked was "I could bring you a side of broccoli" because apparently at Seasons 52 broccoli solves all problems. Never spending money there again.

Slow service

By Susan Y |

We have eaten here several times. We were promptly seated- place was not busy so really could not understand why service was slow the entire time. Food was good but not what we remembered. Management needs to pay attention.

Good Saturday night out

By wrjseisen |

We ate at Seasons 52 for our 2nd time. The first was Mother's Day this year. Started out with yummy martinis which were the best that we have had for awhile. We both had the butternut squash soup. It was good and had a unique taste. My husband had the trout and I had the chicken. Too stuffed for dessert. Valet parking is complementary and the valets were quick to get our car. Good experience.

GREAT PLACE

By Blake |

Great place to go to eat a good dinner with friends! I have a good experience with them, the service is excellent, and the food tasty.

Nice but no lunch specials

By Cheryl G |

I had a business lunch and dinner here and both were very nice. The restaurant is lovely, the food is very good and the service both times was excellent. One of the things that stood out for me is that even though the restaurant was larger than I expected, the noise levels were not bad. One thing about MANY Houston fine dining establishments is that the noise level is almost unbearable and it is hard to hear the conversation. Not so at Seasons 52. On both occasions, the waiter and the food were top notch, with the exception of the butternut squash soup, which I did not care for. The lobster flatbread and the roasted brussel sprouts were standouts. I was surprised, however, that there were no lunch specials. I thought it was quite expensive for lunch.

Good atmosphere. Good food.

By shaun r |

The different types of food and the flavor are good, but not great. The portion sizes seem a bit small for what you get, even considering the areas. Pear salad was nice. Service was attentive.

Free valet parking for diners.

By 00slevin |

The location is very good in the mixed enterprise new Town & Country Complex housing an hotel, cinema and many shops. Free Valet parking is included for diners. Tables are well spaced apart making conversation very easy. We have a circular table that would easily handle eight persons. There’s a wide variety of interesting choices of appetizers, pasta, seafood,& meats. One of our friends was served the most generous portion of scallops I have ever seen. There were seven of us and all our varied orders arrived at the same time. Budget -wise, you don’t have to order a large main course- a salad is very reasonable. None of us usually order a dessert, but we were offered small portions with five varieties, each in a small glass. At $3.00 each - irresistible and a perfect ending to our meal.

Nice restaurant and wonderful atmosphere

By LuisAnaya |

I went for the first time and I was delighted with this place. Nice atmosphere, music and the food really great. Good drinks and wonderful desserts. The only bad thing, red wine to hot despite they have a good cellar, we order a wine by cup and it was really hot, when we order one by bottle, temperature was ok.

Great first visit

By John W |

Visited the City Centre location 12/3/2016 with daughter. Seating was easy, restaurant was 1/3 full upon our arrival. We were seated in a booth along the rear viewing window to the kitchen. Place was dimly lit, but with my poor eyes I was able to get through the menu. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. On the menu I noticed the SEAFOOD paella, with scallops, lobster tail, mussels, sea bass, and CHORIZO? I questioned the waitress about the chorizo in this entree, after her explanation she said it can be replaced with another protein, I went with shrimp as a substitute, also the butternut squash soup. My daughter ordered the maple glazed roasted half chicken, also the truffle mac & cheese, and a seafood flatbread. Soup and flatbread arrived, soup was not overly sweet and was very good with the shiitake mushrooms. The flatbread was lite on the seafood but was good. I was visited by the chef on my concerns for substituting the chorizo, I informed him I did not care for the taste of Chorizo and it was not a religious or allergic choice. Our entree's arrived shortly after the chef visit. My seafood paella was nicely presented, along with my daughters roasted chicken plus here truffle mac and cheese. I would have like more spice with the palella, but appreciated the low salt level in this dish. My daughter was also pleased with her meal. I did request to see the dessert tray, but knew I would not be having any during this visit. There were several dessert choices pre seated in shot glasses, I am sure I will try at least on on my next visit. Yes I will be returning to Seasons 52. Cost of our meal was $87 plus tip.

Brunch

By Ed77077 |

Brunch was absolutely perfect! Jon mixed the perfect Shrubby Mary. Eggs Benedict w/lobster was perfect and the smoked salmon in flatbread was ample and perfectly presented. Desserts are decadent. Chef Luis stopped by with Nikita, the manager. And service from George was spectacular. Yes, we made a point of remembering names. It was that good!

Happy Hour Light Bites

By DallasTXEventplanner |

Just a quick drop in for an early cocktail and some light bites before a party. The Tuna Tartare was amazing as was my Moscow Mule. The stuff mushrooms were just ok. Husband was thrilled to catch a few minutes of his game on the bar TV.

Poor service even when the resataurant was half empty

By AIWIW |

We were there for business lunch at 1: 30 pm and yet waiters took 15-20 minutes to respond. Even to get their attention to get menus was long wait. Don't get mislead by "large bowl of soup". Yes its a large bowl but only half filled with soup.

Interesting Menu

By Sandra P |

Six of us went to celebrate 4 birthdays. We made reservations early in the week and were seated in the front of the restaurant. Chairs were patio chairs. Regular chairs were used for other parties within the restaurant. The air-conditioning was on high. Needed jackets or sweaters to stay warm. Waitress was awesome. She explained everything we had questions about. Food was served incorrectly to our table several times. The food was delicious. The desserts were perfect. Located in the CityCentre where parking is at a premium. If you park on the roof of the garage, there is no charge. If you want you can use valet parking. Most of the garage spots have a pay by phone system.

Well worth the try!

By Ron W |

We’ve been meaning to try Seasons 52, just haven’t..Sorry we didn’t sooner becasuse it’s well worth the try..We went on a Saturday early afternoon, just to try the Bar and look at the menu..My wife and I are “suckers” for a nice paneled slick bar. Seasons bar fit the bill, chairs roomy and comfortable. We had the flat bread, which was outstanding and different. I tried the Old Fashioned and it was great..Tried it with Rye instead of Bourbon..We had the BarBQ Meatloaf and it was a surprise! Again Outstanding..The service was great, our Mixologist Eric was great, attenative, funny. The bar was great, but the whole place is very comforable. We will be back..Well worth the trip!

Delicious Food, and Rich Quiet Atmosphere

By Patricia R |

Please put this on your list of restaurants to visit real soon. The food was fresh and delicious with some amazing new offerings. Like the broccoli flatbread. So delicious and slightly nutty tasting. The interior of the restaurant felt rich with lovely nooks and niches where you can pass a delightful hour or two eating and drinking. Kudos to Leyla our waitress too, she took good care of us. Alexandro the manager came over to our table to thank us for being there! Finally I should mentioned when we first arrived the music was just a tad too loud for casual conversation. We asked for it to be lowered a bit,,,,which they did....and another house manager came over and inquired if we were satisfied. We are going back in the next two weeks and try something else. My favorite was the cedar plank salmon which was cooked to perfection. Try it!!

Always in Season

By LifePamAdele |

Service is excellent and the food is fabulous . The only bad thing is the location in City Centre. Parking it awful and even trying to valet it a pain. Perfect for birthday celebration and they even have a kids menu

Sometimes fantastic, sometimes good

By 868victor |

We go here 4-8 times a year. Sometimes we are served great, and sometimes just good. I would give 5 stars if the service would be great every time and the food quality would be the same every time. Overall a very good restaurant to go. The wines are very good and we love wine. Usually I have lunch with my wife on weekdays and recently (evening) I went with friends from Europe and the kids.

Amazing food - with such good flavors!

By sjengland |

Great atmosphere - leisurely lunch with friend for special birthday. Food was delicious. Service was ok but not as attentive as it should be for this caliber restaurant. (i.e. had to ask for drink refills every time it was empty - even water glass.). When I made reservation on Open Table I mentioned it was a friends BIG birthday. Nothing special was done by waitstaff, not even offer of birthday mini dessert.

Great Food Drinks and Service!

By Claudio L |

Great Food Drinks and Service! We enjoyed a Friday night meal with friends. Great Atmosphere for dinner or drinks and great Service!

Gracious dining, nice menu

By Mike B |

We are fans of both Seasons 52 locations in Houston, primarly due to their innovative menu, warm inviting surroundings, and great service. I love their flatbreads, grilled artichokes and cedar-plank salmon (which is the best I've ever had). They are constatly upgrading their creative seasonal menu, which always offers interesting options.

Excellent food every time

By cynthiacS393BO |

Please note that this chain of restaurants out does itself everywhere. I've not only eaten at the restaurant in City Center but I've eaten at this restaurant in NYC and King of Prussia PA. The food selection and liquor are 15 out of 10 every time. I'm hungry now just thinking about this experience 🥘 and 🍸🥃👌The service is top notch. If you haven't tried it please do😎😊.

Great Food

By txmom2015 |

I've dined at this restaurant and I've always been completely satisfied with the food and the service. All of the employees there have always been so helpful and willing to assist if there is a need. I will continue to make this a weekly lunch venue. Great Job!

Fine Dining and Location Location Location..

By Ginger-Suzie |

CityCentre location is easy to find and valet parking is the only way to go. Lunch and dinner seasonal menus. Both meals, Mahi Mahi tacos (lunch) and Shrimp and Grits (dinner), were absolutely outstanding. Don't forget to ask for the dessert shot glass tray. Big variety to choose from. $$$

This is not America

By Remko1701 |

This was my last stop on a business trip which took me from lunches and dinners from New York, to Pittsburg, Atlanta, Orlando and finally Houston. It was a perfect ending of my American business trip. Nothing on the plate represented whatsoever I had encountered previously and the portions...were just right for my European expectations. Fresh products, interesting combinations, nice atmosphere and good service. The Lone Star state just had another Star...

Company Luncheon

By Betsy E |

We brought a group of around 20 here for lunch in April. We reserved a private room which was very nice. The food and the service was outstanding!

Great Lunch

By jld4243 |

I have lunch here a few times a year and have never been disappointed. The service is always great and we can ask for the table we'd like to have. On my last visit I had the Maui Tuna Crunch salad and it was excellent. The portion is large and it is very fresh. Our waiter seemed to know when to check on us and when to leave us alone so we could chat. We were not rushed, which was important to us. I will keep coming back and I recommend it to my friends.

Didn’t look like they were equipped for a big family

By sirajanwar2018 |

Total of 18 family members went to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Here are some of the challenges we faced: - Incomplete orders: two items were completely missed. One order eventually came, after being told that I never ordered it! The second order didn’t show up at all which I only realized after walking out of the restaurant - Incorrect orders: two items for the kids were incorrectly served. Staff was quick to “blame” the kids by saying that it was not ordered that way and that the order that was requested was not available that way. Somehow, during the conversation the adults, it was discovered that the order could be available the way that it was wanted. - Willing to accommodate special requests: my father wanted room temperature water, but apparently they didn’t have it. We asked for hot water so that we could mix it with cold water to get room temperature water (I know! Genius right?). That hot water never came, and my father ended up not drinking any water at all Through the kindness of the manager who asked us if everything was all right, they waived the charges for two of the kids’ meals. It just doesn’t seem that as a restaurant whose basic premise is to serve customers was not able to deliver. Midway through the dinner, the family mood was a downer and we were all very eager to leave. I wanted to give a single star but added an extra start because of the manager’s effort to right things. Overall a disappointment for the entire family. :-(

Wonderful experience

By Blaine C |

Met some old friends for dinner on a Friday night. I love the atmosphere - feels rich and beautiful with dark wood and stone construction. Elegant setting. Not overly loud. Flatbread was awesome. Hummus was unique and delicious- left you wondering “what’s different about this? It’s delicious!” Salmon, trout, chicken, steak, sea bass all excellent! Highly recommend this restaurant. First time but won’t be my last for sure. And this is a 30-45 minute drive for us. Well worth it.

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

By NoDaks2 |

We had an exceptional rehearsal dinner for 33 at Seasons 52. Teresa made the planning effortless and the serving staff were very attentive. The food at Seasons 52 was fresh and delicious! We will return to Seasons 52!

Good place to impress international visitors

By Ian A |

Had some customers in town from China and wanted to take them out for dinner. Originally thought about steak but the places we tried wouldn't take a reservation so as I didn't want to be left waiting for a table, booked at Seasons 52. The wide range of choice meant that there was always going to be something for my Chinese guests as it is can be difficult to know what they will like. Our waiter was professional and friendly with good service all evening and the food was excellent. We chose a range of different dishes from salads to steak to fish. The duck wing lollipops and Chilean sea bass were the stand out dishes. Just when we were thinking of leaving, our waiter brought the desert selection - what could we do ......... ? They were all excellent and between the 6 of us we almost had the full set. If you eat here, save a little space, you won't be disappointed !

Good seasonal offerings

By Danny W |

Although a chain, Seasons 52 is consistent, healthy and has sufficient variety to satisfy almost everybody.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food

By IiM100 |

Arrived early for our reservation and decided to enjoy drinks and appetizers in the bar which featured a happy hour menu. Cucumber smash ( cucumber vodka) cocktail was light and not sweet, very refreshing. The meatballs had a great seared crust and was delicious. Shrimp scampi was good. Was told the duck lollipops were sold out so was surprised 30 minutes later after happy hour ended that they were then suddenly available again. Got seated in restaurant for our dinner reservation. Lovely young server took care of us. My scallops with a corn risotto was cooked perfectly with a good seared crusts on butter soft scallops. Loved the seasonal freshness of the sugarsnap peas and tomatoes. The seared Aho tuna arrived grey and was sent back. It took some time to get another order, I was almost done with my meal by the time my partner’s meal arrived. The manager stopped by to apologize but felt a drink on the house perhaps should have been offered. The new Ahi tuna second time around was perfect and beautifully presented.

Excellent service and food

By SLR879 |

Went there during the week for an early dinner. We were seated close to the kitchen and shared a spumosi bottle. The chicken flatbread was crisp and good to share. The filet mignon was very well prepared and a good portion with everything. The mini indulgences (desserts) were perfect as we both picked one and were able to share around. The waiter, Quan, was very helpful and provided a great experience.

Great Drinks, Food a Notch Lower

By JoBoxer555 |

We came for Happy Hour, and enjoyed the decor and comfort. Sat at the bar, and the bartender was welcoming, and makes excellent martinis. We chose 3 appetizers,2 of them only $5.00, at that time of day. The scallops were well presented, but pedestrian, with no real flavor, or added culinary imagination. Just a splash of citrus might have been a nice touch. The meatball appetizer was better; three large meatballs in a fresh tomato sauce. Much like an Italian meatloaf, and we enjoyed them. We shared a flatbread that was to have cheese and artichokes on it, but there were only 2 small pieces of cheese on it, and more carmelized onions, than anything. No real flavor to the dry "cracker" it was served on, though they did say it was a flatbread, but did not resemble one. Based on this somewhat less then stellar tasting, we decided to go elsewhere for dinner, but would surely return for drinks.

Good place to meet a group after work

By Dianne D |

This is a nice place in an equally nice area. It would be better to come for drinks and apps than dinner. I wanted the food to be better than it was. But service and cocktails were great!!

Or your average portion sizes but still good food

By brent3162 |

Came here on a business dinner with 25 people. The dinner was preplanned as far as the menu with two entree options. I ordered a filet $45 and couldn't wait. The food arrived and it looked like a 6oz filet and was over cooked. The vegetables were just ok and dessert was delivered in shot glasses, guess someone though that was cool and could charge more. I was disappointed after having been to Perrys the week before. Mostly disappointed in the steak, quality, flavor, and size.

Perfect for Birthday Celebration

By David L |

I made a reservation and mentioned it was my wife's birthday. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of bubbly, then presented my wife with a card. After dinner she selected from several excellent looking desserts. In between, the food was excellent. I had Rack of Lamb and my wife the Trout. Started with Spinach Salad that was very tasty. They had a good selections of wines across the price spectrum. We choose a cab (only one they carry) that wasn't very expensive, but very nice. The only draw back was service had glitch or two. We had asked for water and it didn't come so we had to ask, again. Still given ambiance and prices, it was an very good choice.

Great option, nice ambience

By DSW_TX |

A tad hard to find at CityCentre, but a great lunch place. Especially for Restaurant Week, menu was a great value. Recommend trout and rib flatbread appetizer. A chain that always is pretty consistent, service was good as well.

Great option for a date night

By Ashley R |

Citycenter is a great area to hang out in Houston, and Seasons 52 fits rights in. We had no reservations but still managed to get a nice booth, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. The service was great although we did seem to have a couple of swaps of "waiter for god night". Maybe they wanted to show us how many good waiters they have?? Haha. The atmosphere is nice, and manages to feel fairly intimate in a pretty big setting. The food? Oh that's good, fresh and flavourful, and the desserts deserve a special mention, not only do they taste great, but they are just the right size to end the meal on a high. I will be back for sure

Beautiful venue, friendly staff and good food

By Dianne W |

There were 6 of us for dinner to celebrate a milestone birthday. Valet parking (free with a meal). Staff was very friendly, our server Quin was excellent and took good care of us. Drinks, appetizers, entrée and dessert were all make perfectly at a reasonable price. We will definitely visit again.

Really nice atmosphere was good service

By HG-TX |

The food is always delicious and the dessert is extra perfect. I love the small portion of dessert as you don’t feel guilty when you’re having more than one dessert laughing out loud. The atmosphere is mostly very romantic however when it is crowded it gets noisy.

espectacular food at reasonable price ..

By brunamiguel3 |

ordered plank salmon and crab cakes and salad portions sizes good for the money food was hot an week done service an ambiance . special for a good diner after a long day

Business Lunch

By barretta |

A pleasant place, attentive but not intrusive wait staff, nice wine list, and good food. I can't ask much more of a place to eat

The 52 restaurants are unbelievable. The food is delicious and presentation is beyond. And it's all usually under 500 calories.

Best restaurant location for business meetings

By Stephanie K |

Seasons 52 is one of the few restaurants my company will use for business meetings and celebrations, either for lunch or dinner. Their staff is incredibly easy to work with and the service is spectacular! We've used this particular location on multiple locations and their private dining room is capable of providing presentation services (sound/AV and drop down screen). They make the menu choices so easy and the food and service are always impeccable. We'll never have a boring meeting in a hotel conference room ever again, this is a superior option! Nothing but 5 stars for our experiences at this restaurant.

Great business lunch spot!

By Dana CT |

We took some clients to lunch. Fantastic service from the host to server. Food was phenomenal. Lots of great fresh choices. The flatbreads were delicious. The scallops were very good over risotto. The menu does change with the seasons. The small "shot glass" desserts were the perfect follow up to our lunches. It was not too loud or too quiet. We had a nice conversation and could not hear what was going on at other tables. Great decor. I plan to visit again when we are in the area.

Spontaneous birthday dinner out with my husband

By Melanie V |

We went to IKEA the day before my birthday, and my husband suggested leaving the kids at home and grabbing dinner out as an early birthday celebration. We didn’t realize they closed 30 minutes after we got there, and they didn’t tell us. They seated us with a smile. Oh my goodness, the best birthday dinner in years. Nikita was a super sweet server; I had the scallops and my husband had the steak. We shared and it was all amazing. The risotto… no words. My mouth still waters. The portion sizes were excellent, and it was all lower calorie compared to most restaurant food. They also had an excellent gluten friendly menu (which I am), as well as a menu for those dairy free or vegan. I can’t say enough good things. We will be back! On an unrelated note… We shouldn’t have to inhale and taste the perfume or cologne on individuals 10 feet or more away from us while at a restaurant trying to eat. Use less, people… seriously.

Really Great Food

By RoguePensFan92 |

Went here for dinner one night while in town, had the shrimp and grits - very, very, good. My colleagues had the paella and they found the flavors of it wonderful. The dessert were just the right size, when they brought out the options and we chose what we wanted, the waiter gave them to us right then - no waiting for them to come from the kitchen. Service was excellent, nice wine list. It's very much worth a try, prices seemed reasonable.

So Delicious!

By Ricky525 |

Went to City Centre for a lunch meeting and originally picked another restaurant. I had been to Seasons 52 once before and loved the food so we decided to make a last minute change. So glad we did! Excellent service from the staff and delicious food.

Excellent Food, Minh a great server

By CMS_on_vacation |

went there for lunch (Houston Restaurant Weeks). I had the salmon, friend had the hanger steak. Our first visit there, but it won't be our last!

Elegant restaurant

By dbinhou7511 |

Great food, appetizers are to share. Friendly staff made it easy to have a good time with friends. Went there as part of Houston Restaurant Weeks. Would definitely go there again.

Excellent service

By Heather B |

This was a business lunch. We were very please with they service from start to finish. We started out with the steak and blue cheese flat bread. So good we ordered more. The we have a variety of entries. All were prepared for presentation. Enjoyed the plank salmon. White beets. Carrot and potatoes. Dessert was small individual side. Just perfect after a great meal. We are planning our next monthly meet here again.

Corporate or Private Event

By Abbymanager |

An excellent place with great ambiance for corporate or private lunches or dinner. Ideal of large groups with a good bar and very warm and friendly staff. A private dinner for lunch for couple would also be a good idea.

Good dinner

By huadao15271527 |

Met some business acquaintances for dinner in December, 2016. Generally my experience with seafood dishes in restaurants have been mediocre at best. The Seafood Paella dish at Seasons 52 did not disappoint. The appetizers and flatbread were nice also. Because it was business dinner the price was not a big concern but I suppose it's on the rather pricey side of things.

Fancy and fabulous

By Kris S |

Small plates rock. You can try all sorts of food in small portions going back for seconds when you like! Happy hour is especially awesome because you get it 1/2 off!! Scallops, mushrooms stuffed with shrimp, and don't get me started on the meatballs--yum!!!! And great wine selection!!!! Atmosphere reminded me of a Houston's. I apologize I didn't get photos! Food was amazing and so pretty!!!

Favorite Restaurant

By Carol H |

This place is quieter than most restaurants so it makes the dining experiences much more pleasurable. The service is impeccable and the food is wonderful! The flatbreads are a standout. I had the Garlic Chicken this time but I have never found one that wasn't delicious. The S'mores mini dessert was amazing and so was the peanut mousse chocolate cake. It is always a pleasure to dine here.

Mixed thoughts....

By Old guy travels |

I went here over a year ago with two friends and the service was appalling! The food, however, was good as was the wine selection. I have since been there several times for business lunches the last two of which recalled those bad memories of poor service. Again the food was good, especially the flat breads, clients were happy, so a result at the end of the day. I would not choose to visit the place again but if required would do so. I found myself there again. Our waitress was attentive, bubbly and generally in good spirits, this time the food in my opinion was average. Lobster with pasta, OK.... trout was a wee bit salty but otherwise fine. Shot glass puddings were the best part of the meal., yummy! Oh yes, the place is loud..... you'll need a good voice for the eveneing I still have no intentions of going back if the decision rests with me.

21st Birthday Celebration

By Jonesyd1 |

This place is tucked away, across from The Moran Hotel. If you don't mind valet parking then I would recommend it. Other than that the parking is a bit of a hassle. I parked in the garage and walked through the hotel to get to the restaurant across the street. The restaurant itself is very nicely appointed. Music was at a level that wasn't intrusive to conversation it was also tasteful. They gave us Ahai tuna cevihi and champagne in honor of our friend's birthday. Tuna was awesome but the champagne wasn't to MY liking. Overall the food was delicious. One of guests wasn't happy with what she ordered. Executive Chef Brandon Kimball came to our table and he cooked the meal himself. Thank you Chef Brandon. BTW the menu is seasonal. My husband and I plan on going back and trying the Fall menu. They even allowed us to bring our own birthday cake. As for dessert they are all served in shot glasses. So, no sharing of sweets. LOL

Good Food but Overpriced

By Zach A |

Went here for a date. Food, especially the New York Strip and Meat Loaf was delicious. I was a little disappointed by the Yukon Mash and some of our appetizers. Desert was great and wine was good. My biggest complaint was that the service was slow (restaurant was not full), the restaurant was rather noisy for a date night, and food, while better than most restaurants, were overpriced, especially the appetizers. Could just be the summer menu was not as good as their fall menu. If a friend wanted to go there or I had a work function there, I would go. However, not sure I would go there as a date again.

Change in menu

By Allan P |

I am so sad to say that since the Westheimer location closed, I'm no longer a fan. It's a bit of a drive, but if the food was the same as before, I'd gladly drive. Sorry to say they removed my absolute favorite salad with chicken. Now you can say seasonal, but that dish has been there for years. No more...

Poor

By lth0 |

Don’t usually comment unless food is amazing. But here the food was mediocre and the vegetable was un edible. 3 of ordered the wild Alaskan Salmon with Snap peas. Which the waiter highly recommended over the cedar plank salmon which was At Least $10.0@ cheaper. So the first noticeable thing was that the snap peas were in edible as they were not prepped. Any one any of us ate all had the the stringy Veins attached. I am far from a chef but even know to remove them. Told the waiter he said he wold inform a manager, no apology no offering of a substitute. No manager never came by. And no adjustment was given. Second I’ve had Salmon at equivalent priced restaurants, CG, Plm, Hstn and all were better, this had some fishiness to it. Sent an email same evening got a response saying they would Bring it to the “managing partner” and still not herd anything. If you have $175.00 to spend for 3 for dinner I suggest you go somewhere else. We have many choices locally.

Would visit again for flavor, atmosphere and service

By mjr0108 |

Overall this place is a great place to eat. Great choice of wines and cocktails, main dishes were spectacular. Food had great flavor, cooked just right and did t have to wait a long time. No complaints whatsoever! My only issue would be if you like desserts then I would skip them at Seasons 52. I wasn’t impressed but didn’t distract from the rest of the visit, the service etc.

Wine and snack was great!

we had a small party after our meeting in Sorella Hotel which is nearby. the wine was good selection. The service was great! thank you.

Birthday Celebration! A nice dining experience

By Shuttrrbug |

We have great friends and we share birthdays a few days apart. Dine together at a different restaurant each year. This year, Seasons 52 @ city Centre. First, parking is an interesting experience, then locating the restaurant the same. Might consider the valet parking @$8. The food is very good at Seasons 52. Two in our party ordered the Shrimp and Grits. Another Grilled Rainbow Trout. Both very good. Desserts are really small, so you need only one spoon! Packaged in a shot glass it appears, but tasty none the less. Pricing is reasonable for what you get. Yet, there are better restaurants in Houston if you desire seafood. Service was excellent and glasses filled routinely. Sunday night was a slow night for the restaurant, a good choice if you like to dine quietly. Enjoy!

Lovely

By Erwin |

Nice and professional welcome, had a table without any reservation on a Saturday evening. I ordered Lobster Bisque soup as a starter and as main course a brick oven-roasted seabass. Both where very tasty and well prepared. Good service

Great service and food

By FeliciaSta |

Nice restaurant- visited for the first time and really enjoyed it. I ordered a plate that included wild rice, and it was the best I’d ever had. I didn’t care for the pomegranate margarita I ordered, but everything else was really good.

Remarkably Good Food for Reasonable Prices

By John O |

This was our first time at this restaurant, but it won’t be our last. The food was mostly delicious and the prices quite reasonable considering the place is billed as “upscale.” We began with a good champagne, served by the glass. I love it when restaurants offer a wide variety of better-than-average wines by the glass — it allows you to request a sip of several so you can better choose what to have with your meal. For starters, my wife ordered the Golden Beet salad while I had mushrooms stuffed with crab, shrimp, and spinach. She raved about the salad, and I who can’t stand beets even liked the bite she gave me. My mushrooms were good but not great. The flavors of the ingredients all seemed to roll into one, with nothing distinctive. The portions were generous. My wife could have made a meal of the salad, and there were (I believe) 8 mushroom caps heaped with the stuffing mixture on my plate. Our main courses were grilled sea scallops for her and boneless beef ribs for me. To go with these, we sampled three reds and chose a California cab. Hers: Most restaurants will serve you 4-6 scallops; her plate came with 8. They were accompanied by broccolini and a leak/squash risotto. Although she would have preferred a more even balance between scallops and accompaniments, she ate it all and enjoyed every bite. Mine: The boneless ribs were among the best dishes of any kind I have ever had anywhere. If you like perfectly braised, cut-it-with-a-fork beef, ORDER THIS. I don’t even remember what the accompaniments were. All I know is that I’ll get it again next time. We probably wouldn’t have ordered dessert, but our waiter came to our table with a selection of what I might describe as tall hexagonal shot glasses, each filled with a unique take on a more a traditional dessert. The traditional parts were layered with (I think) thickened cream. I remember key lime pie and pecan pie, but not the others. We chose the pecan pie to share. A taste of heaven. And a perfect conclusion if you want to sweeten the mouth without bloating the stomach. Speaking our waiter, he was as good as they get. I forget his full name, but he went by Ty. He was knowledgeable, helpful, cheerful, and attentive without lurking. I can’t rate him highly enough. Or, actually, yes I can. I rate him equal to the beef ribs (which I believe he recommended). There were two negatives, but they were minor. First, our place in the restaurant was a little noisy, probably because it was fairly close to the bar area, which seems to be very popular. But the ears soon adjust, and the noise becomes background. Second, when I requested a tasting of three reds before making a final choice, it took a long time for the tasting glasses to arrive. Ty apologized and attributed the delay to a very busy bar, understandable I suppose, since this was a Saturday night. Overall, this place is excellent. We’ll definitely go back.

Sunday afternoon meal

Went for early dinner round 4.00 and could choose from either lunch of dinner menu, good selection on both , had the duck poopers to start which were very nice, pork for main dish again very good, friendly and attentive staff

Happy hour

By Diana G |

Seasons 52 wonderful happy hour experience. Cocktails are next to perfection and the delicious menu made it very tempting to stay for dinner. Actually we did we moved to a wonderful booth table in the bar and had an amazing meal perfect service delicious food and a great atmosphere what else could you ask for

Great service, great seasonal menu!

By bk33707 |

Although Seasons 52 is technically a "chain" - this restaurant does not seem like a chain in any way. The menu changes seasonally with great specials - service is exceptional and food is very good and very unique. The atmosphere, service and overall dining experience is high-end with a very reasonable price point. Also love the fact that they put the calories on the menu.

Cozy and delicious

By Travellady1975 |

Their flatbreads of various flavors are very very good!! Also had their filet mignon and it was delicious! Very nice restaurant with great food!

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere.

By Jeremy Z |

Recently returned to Seasons 52 at the City Centre to see if our excellent experience we had last year was a fluke. It wasn't! The food was top notch, as we had the lamb, pork loin, and shrimp and grits between our group. Appetizer was the golden beet salad which we split. Yum. Service was excellent and attentive without any rush. The best thing about the furnishings and the dining rooms was that you could carry on a conversation with your dinner mates. The music was subtle, the soft furnishings and high booths deflected the sounds of others. I really appreciated it over some of my recent dining experiences. Also the mini indulgence desserts were wonderful, outside of the thyme-infused savory cheesecake. Two of the three of us found it interesting. I did not. Our server offered it as a taste as it is not to everyone's liking. I appreciate the honesty. Great meal and I highly recommend the restaurant.

A New Favorite - We Will Return

By Paul E |

We prefer vegetables and are glad to see upscale restaurants that cater to this preference. We enjoyed flatbread, salads, the vegetable sampling, and whole cauliflower. Everything was perfect and we had enough left over for a complete meal the next day. We will return. Well done.

Dinner with my Princess

By Udinebob |

Located on route from airport, a welcomed location, Service is fair not fabulous. Wine knowledge limited . Food to quick, order and in a blink it’s with you, question how fresh??? Tasty food, though not sure I’d go back.

Best Service Ever

By bgbigadventure |

have eaten at the Seasons 52 on Westheimer several times but this was our first visit to this location. Our server, Donna, provided the best service ever. The food was fantastic, and the decor and ambiance of this location is wonderful. Not quite as noisy as the Westheimer location. I love the scallops, and that is what I always get. Another member of our party had Chilean Sea bass which he claimed was wonderful. The other 2 in our party had the salmon special and both claimed it to be excellent. i love their dessert presentation. Just the right amount of sweet after a big meal, and the price is right. I would recommend this location to anyone. Loved it.

Seems to be a choice spot for Valentine's Day

By AustinH6913 |

This is a nice place to go especially as a couple. It was a bit hard to find at first but it is near the back. There is a parking garage right next to it or you can do valet. The staff are all very nice and accommodating. I had to book ahead of time online (not sure if that's Corona protocol or not) but just keep that in mind. The food was great; I had salmon. Some of the menu items are a bit pricey but you can do one dish or three small dishes/sides for roughly the same amount.

Lovely dinner

By Helen S |

I am staying opposite this restaurant and laziness made it the easy choice for dinner after work. I am so glad I went in. I was well looked after from start to finish - shown to a quiet booth as per my request as I was eating alone and Donna my server was knowledgable and helpful. From the seasonal cocktail (SO GOOD!) to the lump crab cake and salad, everything was delicious and the desert was the perfect portion size and fantastic. The challenge is going to be trying out other places as I really just want to go back here night after night!

FRESH FOOD

By jld4243 |

We have eaten here several times and always love the fresh food. The only drawback is that for a neighborhood restaurant, I find it a little pricey. The waitstaff are attentive and helpful. The unique variations in the menu are good. This restaurant relies on fresh local food for its menu.

One of City Centre's better restaurants

By Joe G |

Really good wine selection to match the foods. The server made good recommendations for both seafood and steak. Service was attentive without being overbearing, which is always appreciated.

Classy group dining -- impress your customers

By Julia_Houston |

I have used Seasons 52 for several private, grand finale dinners for multi-day business events for 10-30 people. Management is easy to work with on the planning side, and the food and staff always impress. There are many choices at CityCentre, but I'll continue to use Seasons 52.

Happy Hour

By Minerva S |

I went with some friends for happy hour and had some lamb pieces and the flat bread and the drinks where great.

Our Go-to Restaurant in Houston

By rlc46 |

My wife and I have been dining at Seasons 52 in City Centre since it opened. The quality of food, the selections offered, and the service provided set the standard for what we expect in an excellent restaurant. And they consistently hit the mark every time we dine there, including special occasions: birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve. Morgan Boogs and his staff of professionals are outstanding! We recommend that you add it to your list of must dining experiences.

Upscale Dining without Taking out a Bank Loan

By TrustMeMan |

Some new friends recommended Seasons 52 located in the cool CityCentre area of Houston. We Uber'd there and had a great experience from the moment we hit the front door. Service was excellent...never rushed with the conversation we were having throughout the meal...and with the layout and acoustics, we could speak at normal tones unlike some restaurants. A nice place offering great food quality.

Excellent meal

By Amy M |

The food was excellent. We loved it. I strongly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious. I loved the sea bass. The hummus was truly wonderful as were the stuffed mushrooms. Kendra was our server and she was attentive and informative. It was a wonderful evening.

Great food and atmosphere for very reasonable price

By Michaelkochla |

We were looking for a restaurant that we had not been to before and we came across Seasons 52. What a great find!! The atmosphere was really neat and the food and service was amazing!! 10/10 We had caramelized roasted brussel sprouts and roasted tomatoes on flatbread as appetizers that were outstanding. The sea bass , filet with mushrooms and salmon were excellent!! We topped it off with 3 different desserts ! Very reasonably priced for a first class meal Definitely recommend!

Fantastic early dinner with friends

By Apert |

This restaurant is located in Houston City Centre. Beautiful restaurant. The food is amazing. We had the chicken flat bread.. wow Then I had the steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, broccolini with sea scollops. Hubby had scallops. So glad we tried it out. We will be back for sure.

Nice place for dinner and conversations

By MNescaped |

The 3 course dinner for $29 is a good value. The salads are a meal by themselves. The main course is proportion nicely and the desserts are just enough to satisfy but not too much to feel you have over done it. The flatbread starters are also a nice add on.

Great restaurant

By martha a |

Great restaurant and great ambiance and the service is great. I love the deserts selection they are in small shot classes so you can enjoy without guilt.

Great Place!

By Camila120428 |

I was very happy that they serve seafood paella that's good for one and it tasted great too with lobster, mussels, mahi-mahi and scallops. Initially, the rice looked watery but over the course of the lunch all the liquids were absorbed by the rice.

Mother’s Day Dinner

By Leticia S |

The duck wings were fantastic! The Vegetable Tasting ***Horrible**** The food was half warm and half cold... the vegan paella, I couldn’t even eat, it was that horrible. Very disappointed.

Relaxed atmosphere & good food

By Petrpakl |

We had a lunch here 2 days in row. It was busy both days, so I'd recommend booking in advance. Food was good, flat breads excellent. I recommend steak and blue cheese one. Portions were normal for us from Europe. Lot of choices for healthy eaters. Good quality food, I'll eat there again!

Bland is an understatement

By txmmoore |

Went here for a business lunch. The decor is nice, giving you a sense you are about to be blown away with good food. Started with a flat bread appetizer. Looks are deceiving. The flat bread look very good, and cooked to perfection. But, no flavor. Very brand. Moving on to my main course, I went with the seabass. Plate was very beautiful, but once again lacked flavor. Based on the price I paid, verses the meal I would say save your money. Not worth it.

Dinner was amazing!

By BFA1704 |

I ate here twice. The first time was for dinner. Highlights included nice cocktails, best crab cake I've ever eaten and wonderful sizable deserts. Second time was for lunch, not as impressed with their lunch menu.

Now open for Sunday Brunch!

By RinaTravelsWorld |

Unbenknownst to my party of 4 who decided to come here for lunch, we were eating at Seasons 52's inaugural Sunday brunch! It was pretty tasty and we will defintely be back for more Sunday brunches. The added plus is they put the calorie count on all the dishes! I had the vegetable fritatta and my husband had the shakshuka. The Maryland crab cake was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I was in love with the mini desserts which were the perfect portions after a filling meal. I had the canneloni and the cream was so a blend of sweet creamy goodness that compliments the crunch of the canneloni. Awesome food, drinks, and atmosphere makes me a happy camper.

Superb Food!!!

By Rockdoc7 |

Great restaurant with excellent food and a health conscious menu. The service was excellent and the decor very nice. I had The seafood paella with scallops and lobster and it was exceptional..among the best in town. We also had the Flatbread for appetizer which was a great start to our main meal.It was delicious. Then we had the little deserts were terrific. A great place to dine!!! Im going back soon.

Great Food - Relaxing Atmosphere!

Met up with some girlfriends for monthly dinner! What a great place. Loved the location and the atmosphere. Recommend sitting in the bar area and enjoying the great food and drink specials.

Enjoyable Restaurant

By kbarreto |

Went there for a business dinner and found the service efficient and quick. Food was good and the prices were reasonable.

Delicious food, amazing service!

By seasideljs |

My cousin made reservations for us. We were celebrating my finding out that I was in remission from cancer. The server was so kind! She congratulated me and even had handwritten a card! We had the summer special that the Houston restaurants were having. We chose an appetizer, an entrée, and then she brought an entire decadent dessert tray! I had the sirloin, with potatoes and green beans and lobster bisque. I tried the key lime dessert...wow! Everything I ate was outstanding! The rest of the table enjoyed salmon and trout. We were all very pleased...You will love the atmosphere, the food, and the service. We also liked the valet parking. We got it validated at the restaurant. Enjoy!

Birthday

I love this place i didn't have a reservation it was my birthday and they were very accommodating. The food, drinks, and service was great. I will be back

Join the bad chain

By golpear |

Can't stand robot wait people who are ordered by their robot bosses to be robots . The thing that was the most irritating is that the wait person served the men their drinks before the ladies, know it sounds old fashioned but.... Would not go back or recommend to any one.

Great find!

By Charles N |

Overall a solid choice for a great meal. The Lump Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and Duck Wing Lollipops were delicious and enough appetizers for my party of 4. The entrees also didn't disappoint. Very lovely space and good service. Would come here again!

Simply amazing!

By Terry K |

My husband and I visited Seasons 52 for our 14th anniversary of dating (married happily for 11 1/2). He had never been here so he was some what skeptical of my pick! Did I p over him wrong! We started out with cocktails! The vodka with cucumber and basil is a must! We then moved on to an appetizer of mushrooms topped with crab and shrimp! Very good! I ordered the cobia at the waitresses suggestions! Out of this world! Husband had the filet and said he was the most tender piece of meat he ever had! We polished the meal off with one of their small desserts of key lime pie and coffee! The service was impeccable and everything was perfectly timed! The place was fairly crowded with large parties of mostly business parties, we never felt slighted!

Kohlrabi steak is a good esperience

By wljo |

Initially we got no clue what is kohlrabi steak, and later been informed it is "turnip cabbage". It was an eye opening and the fennel-roasted onion is yum...

Great Seafood & More

By TK14 |

Enjoyed my entree of Sea Bass at Seasons 52 in City Center. The fresh watermelon and tomato salad was delicious as well. My friend ordered the filet salad which was excellent. The wine list was OK but not exceptional. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Perfect place for a business dinner or special evening. Hotel Sorella is just across the street and a free parking garage is next door. Valet parking is also available.

Restaurant

We go there often. The menu changes with the seasons and everything is always good. We like to eat in the bar area as it it cozy and quiet. The little dessert cups are delicious and there are many choices.

Mother’s Day

By Calondra B.♥️ |

First visit, arriving at 1:30 pm on Mother’s Day with a party of 3 for our 1:45 pm reservation; there was already a line waiting in the entry. The manager and hosts at the desk told everyone arriving that it was a 15 to 20 minute wait. She lied it was more like 45 minutes. I overheard the manager share the restaurant normally has 800 customers and on Mother’s Day, 1500. As customers with larger parties arrived after us they were ushered in and seated. We were repeatedly told there was one ahead of us or one more 1:30 reservation. So many people waiting and no one seemed perturbed at all. My teen was on her cell in the lobby but when we were seated in restaurant no service. Ask for our waiter, Robert, from NOLA. He recommended favs/substitutions. Our meal came @ 3:45 pm—ERGO 3 Stars. They overbooked but didn’t add more kitchen help. We had paper thin prosciutto flatbread, tuna tartare, short ribs, Mac n cheese, pork tenderloin, yam purée, veggies , scallops and scarce risotto looked like minced garlic, asparagus, and a nonalcoholic mango jalapeño crush totaled a little over $100. He Mr said his tenderloin wasn’t tender. Mentioned to Robert we weren’t happy with the wait. He told us he was sorry about extensive wait and he’d have mgr talk with us. Mgr said she was too busy to stop by. Managers customers matter no matter how busy you are!! Robert apologized and brought us a complimentary dessert box. Those visiting on a less busy day will have a different experience.

Great food in noisy atmosphere.

By utretiree |

The food here is excellent. We just took my s-i-l for his birthday and had the rainbow trout (best ever) and steak/lobster which was also delicious. The lemon artichoke appetizer is mouthwatering. They have a very good vegan menu which two of our party appreciated. It was very busy and so loud that we could barely hear the person right next to us. Of course it was a Saturday night during the holidays, so I will plan to go back on a weeknight or for lunch. The prices are reasonable and the service was good.

Exceptional Service & Food

By maggiet0813 |

We went for lunch. Valet parking was $5. Food was excellent. Drinks excellent and service super professional. I recommend it.

Great lunch in an elegant atmosphere

By Nancy I |

I had lunch here on a weekday. Valet parking is free and fast so be sure to take advantage of it. We had reservations, but the restaurant was not crowded. We sat at a round booth in the corner which was private, quiet and comfortable. Food was expensive, but the cost is justified by the atmosphere and convenience. I had one of the "Pairings" - a blackened steak and blue cheese flatbread with porcini mushroom bisque soup which was delicious and one of the less expensive items ($11). Great place to meet for a quick lunch. Service was attentive, and we were out within an hour although we told we were welcome to stay as long as we liked.

food were delicious

By May W |

food were very well presented, tastes were good, and inexpensive. I would go back when I am in the town.

Excellent Service and Great Food

By H L |

Four of us met here for dinner Sunday night. Rain started to bucket down just as we arrived at 6:30pm. We decided to let the valet park our car and was given a coupon for free parking as we went into the restaurant. The restaurant appeared to have a nice ambience for a good dinner and conversation as we were placed at a table away from the bar. Our server, Daniel was terrific, friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Lobster Flat bread- everyone love their share of 2 slices. This was followed by the stuffed mushrooms, also delicious. Around the table, we had lamb shank, a filet steak, cedar plank salmon, and caramelized scallops. All were thought to taste great. Finally, not the restaurants fault, midway through our mains, voices and laughter from the table of 7 ladies and one gentleman behind us grew louder and louder to the point that conversation at our table became nearly impossible. We finished our dinner and left soon after.

Love the ambience

By Rosana G |

I love that they change the menu according to the season of the year. Prices are very reasonable. The ambience is very romantic. The piano which is in the middle of the bar makes the bar area very inviting. The performance was great! The waiters are very attentive!! Highly recommended!!!

Don't Bother!

By hnasr |

I went there for a business lunch, I have never been there. First the decor is so yesterday! it is dimly lit, very much "I have been there" kind of place. The food was average at best. The Flatbread was ok, the soup was so non-memorable I forgot which one I ordered. The Lobster BLT lettuce wrap is tasteless!!

The catering coordinator was excellent and her advice was spot on.

By Meredith G |

I worked with the catering coordinator to plan a family luncheon after a family funeral. We had a private room, and the wait staff were very attentive. The food selections were delicious, and all the family raved about the experience. We had privacy, good food, good service. A great way to visit with relatives after a sad event..

Very good food and service!

By jenniferkQ3268SC |

The restaurant was very nice and the wait staff was very helpful and friendly. It was for our birthday and they took our pictures and put in a little frame for us to take. Salmon was great. Filet mignon on was great too! Good desserts to choose from too in a small size.

The changing menu of Seasons 52

By Allan P |

Let me start by saying..."I love Season's 52". Ok, now I will tell you that really "I loved" it in the past. My absolute favorite, go to place. Took employees here for special occasions. Went there often. But my most recent visit...well, it just was not the same. It's called Season's 52 because the menu changes. This time, I just did not find anything on the menu I found appealing. I have always..always ordered the BBQ chicken salad. Sometimes the Steak Salad...but yesterday...BBQ chicken was not on the menu. Been there for years...all year long. Sorry sir..we don't have any BBQ sauce? Seriously? You don't have BBQ sauce you can put on the chicken? OK we love the butternut squash soup...nope..well I can live without that. But the salad just was not up to it's usual wonderful self. So, unfortunately, I'll probably bid a fond farewell to my favorite place, because it's just not the same. Hope others love love it...

Very nice experience

By oilmanlkr |

Seasons 52 is a chain restaurant with a twist. A full menu with a wide selection of appetizers and entrees. Priced moderately. Great service and our server knew the wine list and the food choices like she had written the book. Overall a very nice experience.,

Birthday dinner

By dbla72 |

My wife and I decided to to try Seasons 52 for my birthday dinner this week. We typically do not eat red meat or poultry and they had some decent looking seafood dishes. I tried the grilled rainbow trout and my wife had the cedar plank salmon. We shared our entrees and both were really good and well cooked. We both agreed we liked the trout best but both were tasty. The vegetable sides were fresh and accompanied the dishes well. The ambiance was nice and we could carry a conversation without screaming across the table. Service was good, nothing special. Was a little put off that no one refilled the water glasses. I even set my glass at the edge of table thinking someone might notice. He desserts looked good but we passed. Overall the experience was good and good value for the food.

Sunday Brunch

By Addison G |

Great place very fresh food . Nice Brunch quiet we could actually talk and hear each other. I love the ambiance of this restaurant. Great wait staff . I had the shrimp and grits and it’s the best I’ve ever had . Deserts are original and just the right top off . I’d recommend this for any occasion big groups are easily accommodated .

Great place for a chat

By nancydHouston |

This place has fabulous food, drinks and service, and is wonderful for having a conversation and being able to hear the other person!

Great calorie conscious fare

By Shazmo |

Love this place. Been a few times now and never had a bad meal. Most dishes are under 500 calories if you're trying to watch the waste line. Delicious and very fresh. Service has always been exceptional, attentive but not oppressive. Can recommend any of the flat breads, but favourite has to be the cedar salmon. Exceptional and great value.

No consistency

By Susan Y |

We returned in November and had great service and food- so- we returned in December and were disappointed. Several items on menu not available that night. Service slow and unorganized.

Restaurant food good but the bar food...yikes

By Karen |

I was there on Wednesday 19th June 2019 and ordered a tuna steak. It was still frozen in the middle. Whatever the chef did to it just made me sad that a poor fish had to die for that. The staff are good tho and I wasn't charged. i was later there for dinner in the restaurant and had steak which was really good so I guess I would go back again but not for the fish.

Private Party - great food and service!

By Mallen |

We had a bridal shower here for a dear friend and the service and private room atmosphere was perfect. The food and drinks were great and I would definitely recommend to others looking for a Houston private event.

Steaks were great, deserts a nice gimmick but not pulled off.

By Mark J |

I have visited Seasons 52 repeatedly over the last 4-5 years, the food is consistent and when I first went there (and to this day) they bring at the end of the meal and array of deserts in shot glasses. (probably 8 or more varieties), I chose a creme brulee. Pureists will know that creme brulee is normally servers in a wider shallower dish and I guess the French (and most others) do this for a reason. Perhaps it aids it setting ? Anyway this creme brullee was not set at all and the waiter went on to comp it. Nice ambience, good service - not so sure the deserts always work...

Disappointing based on prior experiences here

By Gregory M |

We were here with friends for my wife’s birthday, hoping this would be a good experience. It wasn’t. Service was extremely slow. Very different from prior experience. I ordered a side dish that wasn’t brought with my meal. Then I was told they were out of it. Then, a few minutes later I was told it was being prepared. It arrived half way through my meal. No further explanation or accommodation was offered. Very unsatisfactory experience from a place where I expect higher standards.

always good

By Joe J |

Our "go to" place for good food in a quiet place. I am high maintenance with some food allergies, and the server is always very helpful.

Pretty good

By OmanRob |

had a business lunch here one day, all the salads were easy and fresh it just too rather a long time to arrive even though very quiet. Decent food, friendly service but just a bit slow Rob

Nice ambiance, good food

By randallcurtis |

Flatbread appetizers are excellent. Grilled scallops are the best Ive eaten in a long time. Filet of beef was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding. The side order of whole head of cauliflower is worth the try even if you don't like cauliflower, delish. Each entrée came with some type of seasonal veggie that was very good. A varied menu, almost anyone can find something they like here. Nice bar.

Excellent food, very good service

By Christian B |

As always, great food, nice ambiance, very attentive waiter. Loved everything we ordered. Fig and bacon flatbread and the natural pepperoni flatbread were excellent. The cedar blank salmon, caramelized scallops were delicious and the NY rib eye cooked perfectly. We will always come back for any special occasion.

Dinner

By Thimble-21 |

Food was very nice.. Staff courteous. However the ambience of the place is not good. You don’t feel you are in a restaurant, you feel like you are sitting in a bar eating bar food. Maybe it’s the seating they gave us as it is quite large and seating went right through. We were right beside the bar. Maybe worth another visit and to sit elsewhere.

Superb Restaurant-Great Food!

By Rockdoc7 |

One of my favorite restaurants. I come here a lot for business lunches. They have a business lunch for $20. I had my favorite which is Sea Bass and it was prepared perfectly. Service is excellent and there is adjacent parking garage which is very convenient.

Great bar scene, good food and friendly waitstaff

By Dianne W |

This restaurant is very popular and reservations are recommended. Valet parking is also recommended or plan to drive around a parking garage until you find a spot. The restaurant is divided into several dining areas with a large bar in the middle. The kitchen is visible behind glass and the lighting is low. Food and drink selection is excellent including many fresh seafood choices, steaks and other meats. A great place to meet friends, date night or special occasion to enjoy an evening out.

Date Night Fail

By ricksR1188FG |

I almost never feel the need to absolutely slam a restaurant for bad food and crappy service, but these fine folks did nothing short of defecate on my date night last night, and that will not go unremarked. I had a great experience at the Plano location a few months ago and was hoping to share a similar evening with my girlfriend at the city center location in Houston last night. No such luck! Something as simple as a 1-drink order was too much for my server to get right on the first try, and it took longer than it should’ve for her to try to correct. I say “try” because it still wasn’t right when she finally brought it. How do you screw up a Jack and coke? Getting to the food. I’m convinced this place needs a chef. For what they charge, it’s a travesty for me to be able to state in honesty and with confidence that McDonald’s probably could’ve done better. I’ve admired the talents of chefs from great to just decent. The only bragging rights these guys deserve is that what they serve will make a $120 türd. You serve a $27 fillet on a cold plate? And not that $10 is a lot of money, but it’s a lot to pay for four chewy, over cooked, obviously previously frozen scallops. I don’t know if it was just this location, just this night, or if the whole chain has been allowed to slump into a hit or miss state of disfunction; but you can bet I won’t be back to find out. Dine at your own risk here, and buyer beware.

Absolutely Wonderful

By JT1952 |

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I've eaten here several times and the food is always divine. Try the Steak and Blue Cheese flatbread, the spinach salad and the filet. Wow. The mini desserts are just perfect - I prefer the pecan pie, but others are also excellent. This is also one of the restaurants available during Houston Restaurant Week. It is a "best buy" in my opinion. One last big plus -- the restaurant is relatively quiet and you can have a normal voice conversation with your guests. That's rare in most restaurants these days.

Very Average Food

By TheInveterates |

I was there with a large group from work - our holiday get-together. The service was mostly good, but there was a long wait for drinks and coffee. The lobster bisque was extremely average; no sherry overtones and no bits of lobster whatsoever. Speaking of lobster, I ordered the 6 oz filet (cooked correctly and tasty) with a Maine lobster tail. A minimum legal Maine lobster is ~1 lb, and will produce a ~6 oz lobster tail (uncooked weight). The tail I received was nowhere near 6 oz. I suspect that the tail was from a Bahamian rock lobster; it was bland.

BEST STEAK I'VE EVER EATEN

By Bruce B |

What a wonderful Grill. In the City Center Mall, the food was amazing. The steak I have was so tender, perfectly cooked and it wasn't the best steak on the menu either. Service was excellent and choice on the menu extensive. Would definitely put on the list of palces to eat if you are in this part of Houston.

Casual Sunday

Sharing this after a few visits. It's located in the popular CityCenter business area. A great restaurant with nice ambience. Staffs were friendly and attentive. All of us enjoyed our food. I fully recommend their flatbreads. They were like thin crust pizzas. Crusty and tasty. I've never failed to order one either for the table of just for myself. I personally prefer half flatbread to pair with a bowl of soup. The salads were great too. They do have good selections of food. The restroom was very nice, clean and spacious. A 3 tier parking garage is located next door. Valet parking is available as well. A nice place to dine with family and friends. Fully recommended.

Clasicaly Comfortable and Delicious

By hmpalmer |

I recently had dinner at Seasons 52, and was very impressed. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is spot-on, and the food was delicious. We had the mushroom appetizer which was topped by a crispy shrimp which was really good. I had the shrimp and grits and was not disappointed. The food was very good, and the service was impeccable.

Highly recommended and part of the profits are donoted to charity.

A pair of shoes left on the porch become so hot I can't wear them. The brim of my hat, newly starched to flatness, droops after only ten minutes outdoors. It is August in Houston. Time to break out the seersucker and the white linen. Time for (dramatic chord) HOUSTON RESTAURANT WEEKS! It is the 20th anniversary of Houston Restaurant Weeks, where restaurants offer prix fixe menus, with part of the profits going to the Houston Food Bank. Alas, inflation is hitting the restaurant industry hard. Many of my favorites are cutting back on the number of courses, offering cheaper options, or adding surcharges for the more desirable items. But there are still some restaurants offering a 3-course lunch for $25. One of the best is Seasons 52 in City Centre. I met my friends Dave and Al there for lunch. The first course on the HRW meunu offered a choice of three salads, or a cup of soup du jour. But Seasons 52 actually gave us choice of three soups. Dave and I chose the lobster bisque. For entrees, Al selected the rotisserie half chicken with lemon honey glaze. Dave chose the seared salmon salad, with the salmon grilled to order and served with a toasted sesame dressing. And I chose the shrimp and grits. The shrimp were grilled over an oak fire and accompanied by chorizo and bacon. My entrée was excellent, all the food was presented well, and our waitress was cheerful, attentive, and competent. And last, but by no means least, dessert. The waitress brought out the Spiral of Indulgence. A choice of seven mini desserts, just the right size to satisfy a sweet tooth without over-indulging, and including things like Belgian chocolate s'mores, pecan pie with vanilla bean mousse, and Key lime meringue pie. Dave and Al chose the raspberry cannoli, and I chose the cinnamon coffee cake.

Not outstanding for vegetarians and I don't think they care

By Susan R |

I had a work dinner with 4 colleagues and arrived in time for happy hour. Much to my dismay, there were no vegetarian options on the happy hour snack menu. When I asked the waiter if the chef could prepare any type of veggie snack, he said "no" and made no effort to go check with anyone. I ended up ordering two of the vegetarian flatbread choices from the regular menu--I have always enjoyed those when there at dinner and they were as good as usual. However the experience left a slightly bad taste in my mouth, no pun intended. There are some veggie options for the main entree, but not enough to make me want to return often.

Horrible Birthday Dinner Experience

By Chelsea C |

My entire experience with this restaurant was terrible! So, terrible that I plan on contacting the owner/CEO of the restaurant. I made reservations for a party of 15 for a bday dinner last Friday, and unexpectedly had 18 guest (basically 3 people over). The waitress and manager on duty, Alejandro stated the restaurant was very busy and booked & told me they wouldn’t be able to accommodate my other guest. Tried to remain cool, when the food came it was either not seasoned or too salty (contradicts the name right?) Anyways, as the night progressed I noticed that the restaurant was not booked because there was 3 booths next to my table UNUSED & also a table on the side of us UNUSED. I decided to not make a fuss about it even though I felt the prejudice vibe. I proceeded to ask the manager for his boss’s number and decided to handle it that way. WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!

Seasons 52 is just OK

By vm647 |

Be careful - be sure to double check your check. Waitstaff doesn't necessarily pay attention to orders, etc. Food's not bad, but priced as fine dining, which it's not. Positives: there is a private dining room for parties, and the assorted mini desserts are a perfect little ending.

Not impressed..

By Luis G |

This is a beautiful space, and the food was decent yet not impressive. It wouldn't be a top choicend at all, but I would go again if friends choose it.

Awesome food. Awesome Staff

By Joyce H |

My hubby and I met up with friends. None of us had dined here before. We were in for a big surprise. Our waitress, Chris (Kris ?), was so charming, sweet and attentive that our evening could not have been made more special. She brought out complimentary desserts after all of the attention she showered in us. We could not say enough about her, not to mention an entire staff of awesome people. We will surely return.

Good restaurant with sea foods

By sewonhan |

We were there to have a dinner with business partner. It served well refined sea foods dining options and it had one of the nicest quality in Houston. If you want to be away from the American dining with higher calories, just try there.

Nice Gem

Stopped here for happy hour and had great attention and service. The wine and bites selection was very nice. It was quieter than some of other nearby restaurants so was nice and relaxing. will return and try dinner in the future.

Super Brunch Venue

By La Vita Farniente |

I took an old friend to brunch here and had an excellent food and service experience. I ordered the Bloody Mary which was delicious and only $5. Followed by the eggs Benedict which was the perfect size and delicious. My friend was on a pain in the butt diet and they accommodated her needs for a burger wrapped in lettuce beautifully. I mean it, beautifully presented and cooked. We each had the very large and delicious house salad prepared perfectly. I moved in to s glass of prosecco and we finished our meal in great fashion for only $50. Service was available without being intrusive. Perfect experience. Had brunch at the Liberty Kitchen for twice the price and half the quality of food and service. Great place for reasonably price excellent brunch fair.

Comfortable, Quiet, Delicious and Very Enjoyable

By Jimmy |

We found Seasons 52 in west Houston for an early Mother's Day dinner. It was the perfect location for the celebration. The restaurant is located in a maze of restaurants, boutique shops, hotels, etc. A parking garage is adjacent and valet parking is available at the door. Our small party, with a child, were seated promptly at the reserved time. The hospitality and service were excellent. The restaurant is large but properly divided into several dining areas allowing for quiet conversation. The menu featured wide variety from the grill and freshly caught fish. We were told the menu changes frequently and the key is freshness. They also feature brick oven roasting and open fire grilling. There are over 100 wines on the list. We tried the fresh sea scallops and a beef short ribs. Both dishes were outstanding. Our other guests also raved about their selections. The portions of food were similar to European standard, which is great for us. Of course we had to sample the variety of deserts that were offered in small portion. Excellent location for a business lunch or celebration.

Awesome Service!

By Shawna Gurka |

I went to happy hour and had dinner at the Seasons 52 restaurant on 10/21 in City Centere. I have a dairy allergy. The bartender Minh was super busy but she took special care to my order to ensure I did not get any dairy. She went the extra mile by having the chef come talk to me and when it came time to dessert she put together a fruit cup for me. George the other bartender was also wonderful and tended to our needs. The service I received from your staff was incredible! I took a friend with me who has never been to a Seasons 52 and she was very impressed. Thank you so much for the wonderful service! I look forward to my return.

Very good, but difficult to find

By Gene T |

Even my Navigation system couldn't help me find this restaurant, buried deep within the confines of City Centre. Finally I found a security guard who pointed the way. Once we got there, a couldn't-care-less valet parking attendant took my car without bothering to open doors for the ladies in the car (tip adjusted later with explanation of why), and we entered the restaurant to meet the third couple for dinner. We were promptly shown to our table and seated. Our server was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, although the bartender totally fouled up my martini order--what was supposed to be a "very dry Sapphire (gin) martini with no olive juice" ended up as a VERY dirty vodka martini. When I pointed it out to our server, it was corrected promptly. Thereafter, everything our table of six ordered was absolutely correct, served on a timely basis, and with a big smile. The food was also delicious, and the calorie count was given on the menu for each dish ordered. (Most are relatively low-cal and/or low-fat, yet still high in flavor.) While prices are not inexpensive, they're reasonable for the quality you get. Biggest complaint we had was the closeness of the tables to one another, causing a noisier than necessary environment. Would we go back? Absolutely, especially if I had a guide to get there--it's not easy to find.

Anniversary Dinner

By PartimeTravel |

We recently ate here while staying at Hotel Sorella for our anniversary. The wine choice is extensive and servers are knowledgeable regarding pairings. We had stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and they were excellent. My husband had a steak cooked to perfection and I had the rainbow trout. Everything was great. We will eat there again if in the area.

Love Going Here

Have dined at several Season 52 restaurants and they are all very good. Wonderful seasonal menu with very good food and service. Especially like the shrimp and grits. Always good and better than most "Low Country" restaurants.

5 Star Dining, Healthy and Always Something New

By catalinasound |

Whether you like the old standards, the 4 Seasons or the weekly faire, you'll never be disappointed at Seasons 52 Fresh Grill! This restaurant offers the best of the best. The food is incredible, the atmosphere is inviting and the service is the best. Best of all, there's something for every taste and budget. Dining here is an absolute must! I could write paragraphs trying to explain all the reasons to visit here but just come try it out. I would label it "Fine Dining" but the prices do not give it sticker shock! I assure you, we've all paid far more money for lesser quality! There are 2 locations in H-Town, so pick one and check it out!

Great experience and accommodated all food allergies

By Linda F |

Everyone was positively impressed with our dinner celebration, which can be hard with multiple dietary restrictions and preferences in the same multi-generation family. Our server was knowledgable about what we could eat and made excellent recommendations on which courses and beverages would complement each other. Our server was friendly and we discovered he is a level 1 sommalier working on the next level - he knew what wines to recommend with our mains. The chef is also brilliant and even came by our table, which was impressive. All of our appetizers, salads, mains, desserts, and cocktails were delightful and well balanced in flavor and texture. We ordered all the courses for our celebration. Because we were celebrating an anniversary, our server added candles to our dessert and brought a plate decorated with Happy Anniversary - a thoughful touch. It's hard to make recommendations because it was all amazing and the menu changes to reflect what is fresh and in-season at the time. My sister and I enjoyed grilled artichokes with preserved lemon hummus and also avocado toast appetizers which, as recommended, complemented well with our maui tuna crunch main-dish salad. My husband enjoyed the thin crispy crust on the roasted tomato flatbread and said the flavors blended perfectly so that it is not just a pizza. My parents enjoyed the sea scallops after tuna tartare and strawberry and spinach salads, and thought their meal was a particularly good value. It is very hard for dad to think anything is a value! Look at their menu - there is variety for all palates. This is a great place when everyone wants something different.

Birthday dinner

By Stephanie |

We visited Seasons 52 in City Centre for a birthday dinner. We made a reservation very easily online the night before, but we showed up early and got seated right away anyways. We ordered the artisan cheese fondue for a starter- it was pretty good. It came with pita chips, pita bread, and another bread. The pork tenderloin was good, but I had some serious food envy for my husband's NY strip. There is valet parking outside the door, but the parking garage is free and it's literally right next door. There is a covered walkway from the parking garage to the restaurant.
