Our friends introduced us to this cozy neighborhood favorite and we had a delicious dinner with great service. We sat inside and it was comfortable. Had a Caesar salad and Salmon. It's good for dinner.

Five of us went to Seasons & Regions after a long meeting nearby. One man didn't like the place because "it was too noisy." His wife "loved the food." So we didn't really know what to expect. Being the first really sunny day in ages, it was rather depressing to walk into a very dark, noisy place with rather loud music. Fortunately, there was space for us out in the patio dining area, also noisy, but light and no funky music. Our waitress was great. We were surprised by a lovely plate of scones, gratis. My husband and I ordered the veggie omelet with wonderful fresh veggies (spinach, mushrooms, onions, squash and bell peppers) topped with marinara sauce and accompanied by good fries, not the commercial "shoestrings." One lady had an entree salmon salad that was delicious. Her husband had the hangtown fries that he loved. Another gentleman had the rockfish fish taco with rice & beans (I think I'll order that next time). We will gladly go there again provided there is patio seating available. Inside is just too dank, dark and depressing, although perhaps OK for a bar. Since we meet several times a year, this seems like a close and convenient choice.

We tried this restaurant for the first time recently. While I expected it to be a busy and popular spot, based on the positive internet reviews, I didn't expect to need a reservation. With our arrival being before the restaurant's opening hour of 4pm, it didn't dawn on me that the restaurant would be THAT busy. Well it was. Cars were literally piling into the parking lot before opening, with people standing in line at the door. Luckily, even without a reservation, we were able to get a table, although the staff was very explicit (friendly explicit) that our table had a 5:10 reservation. So we were warned that we'd need to be finished by then. I'm so glad we said yes and gave it a try. Highlights.....the fresh Razor Claims from WA state were excellent. Lightly battered and fried, but not greasy. Fantastic. The other star of the night was the "Crab Leg Risotto". Flat out fantastic. My wife and I actually shared that dish, which was perfect. While not an extremely large portion, it was still ample. And with the richness of the crab and sauce, I probably would have been able to eat the entire entre myself. 5 Star experience. If you try it though, learn from our mistake, and make a reservation.

Wanted a seafood meal with friends. We had a salmon dish, excellent. I had rockfish with risotto. Again very good. Our waitress was very informative and most attentive. Soup and salads were very good. Carrot cake was divine. Atmosphere was very friendly. Had a reservation. We arrived early and were able to be seated right away. I will return.

We went today for the first time. The service was great, nice waitresses and the menu is super complete. I ate a smoked salmon salad and my husband an almond salmon - both super tasty. We’d definitely recommend.

As a long time customer, it pains me to be brutally honest in this review of a former "go to" restaurant in my neighborhood. It seems that their food quality, value, and service have all drastically decreased over the last few years. There are, however, still some good deals and eats to be had so I am giving Seasons & Regions a 3star rating. The lunch specials are a fantastic value when the food quality is "on." I'm a big fan of the Dover sole with veggies and mashed potatoes. The beure blanc sauce is very tasty and compliments the dish well. Unfortunately, you are rolling the dice in terms of quality. I've had the sole freshly prepared and I've had a stale dish served to me that seemed to have been prepped hours (or days) prior. My most recent visit, I chose the dish from their specials menu titled Fresh Strelhead with Tiger Shrimp. I'm not sure what most people think of when they order tiger prawns, but I envision large shrimp. As you can see from the photo, the shrimp I received were small and not what I think most people would expect. When I expressed disappointment to the server, she offered no resolution and told me that they were 41/50 count tiger shrimp. I contacted the manager the following day and requested Greg call me back to discuss, but I never received a call. If you're going to serve ordinary shrimp on top of steelhead, then it is advisable to not label them as TIGER and just say shrimp. All in all, you can get a good meal here for a fair price. There is just too much inconsistency across the board to recommend this restaurant or use it as a "go to" any longer.

Never disappointed here, happy hour menu great deals. Pretty busy on a Friday evening, recommend making reservations, like we did. Calamari was excellent, fried chicken was also great, Mac & cheese was very rich.

Celebrated Father's Day with brunch. The raspberry scones melted in your mouth. We all enjoyed Omelettes, Chicken and Waffles, Eggs Benedict and Rockfish Tacos. The service was very good and the ambience was very nice. I give it a definite positive recommendation

We have been eating here for over 10 we have never been disappointed. Prices went down during the recession, came back up when the economy recovered, but the food stayed excellent. It is not a fancy place, small and crowded place inside and a plastic covered outside sitting. The food makes up for the surroundings. It is always very busy so make reservations.

I would give negative stars if could. We ordered delivery from them, they sent us the incorrect item….they sent one that I am highly allergic to….& then refused to take any accountability or make it right. They acknowledged that they messed up the order, but said “once the order left our property, it’s out of our hands”. Horrible customer service, piss poor management.

Was visiting Oregon with my family and came across this restaurant. Read the reviews and thought we’ll give it a shot as we craved for seafood. But expectations fell short. Ambience is nice it’s by the road side. Not enough parking though but there was neighborhood street that we parked at. The food was not so great. Pretty bland for our palette and presentation on the plate is a slop. It was not a fulfilling dinner. But the staff was wonderful.

We had dinner here recently, and I chose the Chicken Jagerschnitzel and husband had the Maine Sea Scallop Cavatappi for our entrees, and we shared a seasonal greens salad as getting only one was recommended due to the amount of food we would be getting to eat. Our server was right as I took some of my food home to have for another meal while husband finished his scallop dish. The salad was VERY good with the dressing they served over it. We also ordered the foccacia bread which was unfortunately, a soft white bread texture with herb seasoning, not what we would usually think of as the firmer bread we have always had in the past when we ordered foccacia. We have been here several times in the past, and will no doubt return, but husband wasn't as impressed by the scallop dish as I was about the chicken, I'm afraid, and he said he would order something different next time. I tried a small bite of his dish, and personally didn't care for the taste of the liquid in which his food was served, but I'm sure many would love it! The parking at this restaurant is pretty atrocious, but they fortunately, they have an agreement with the center across the way to provide a row of parking and that is where we went to park. Walking in the rain a couple of blocks to get to the restaurant wasn't fun, but the walk back was dry.

This restaurant came recommended by a friend so we went there for lunch. There is patio seating, it's near the road but it's very quiet. The dining area is nothing fancy but the food is really good. Our waitress Chelsea, was friendly and took very good care of us and it was extremely busy at the time. However, we did not wait long for our food. We had a starter of Salmon Tator Tots which were really good ! The sauce was wonderful, would have like just a little more of it though. Tried the SW Oregon Rockfish Taco's with rice and beans. It was really tasty and came with a large amount of fish, a pleasant surprise. We would go here again, gladly.

This was one of our favorite places for happy hour pre-COVID. It fell off our list. We take-out to support restaurants every Monday and Thursday. I was excited to rediscover them again. The menu looked scrumptious. They are take out only now. My order had four items, two hot and two cold. I received two bags, showing the two items in each bag. I got home and the dessert (second cold item was missing). The brussel sprouts were severely undercooked, and we had to refry them. Hopefully it was an off-night. Still, for takeout, a major job is to ensure the order is right. At other places, I seem them checking the order after packing the bags. A simple check would have revealed the wrong number of items. The huge burrito was much better without the tortilla. There are enough other options in Portland that I will not be going here for an average, frustrating experience.

Have eaten dinner here many times over the years as I previously resided in the neighborhood; returned for lunch yesterday. Interesting lunch specials and an ambitious and extensive lunch menu. Sat on the covered patio, very pleasant. Also, two of the specials are gluten-free (I ordered one of them just because it looked good, and it was -- I do not require GF food)

We had the Dover sole and crabcakes served with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Great food, beverages and service, very reasonably priced. Parking lot can be a challenge.

Great menu and discounts after 3 PM. I like to go here when in town visiting. All the food is fabulous and so is the KeyLime pie (take it to go since you are typicallly full after eating!).

First time coming here while visiting Portland. The food is so very delicious. The fish was cooked to perfection and the side dishes are unique and flavorful.

We thought the food was fresh and delicious. It was busy on the Friday night we went but we were able to make a reservation so were seated promptly. The wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. We would definitely go back for all of the wonderful seafood!

Love this place. I usually eat breakfast here but lunch or dinner is just as good. Really a creative menu, friendly waitresses, and well prepared food. Also their happy hour is one of the best. Specialty is seafood and is it ever good!

We got takeout (no dining in during the pandemic). It was ready almost half an hour earlier then we asked for it, so we suspect it would’ve been a little fresher had we been able to get there sooner. That said, the quality of seafood and flavors were wonderful. It was exactly what we wanted in a local seafood dish. The salmon chowder was fantastic and portions were great. Prices were a tad high but generally well worth it.

I have only been there for lunch. Have great dishes that the ingredients are always fresh. Whatever you pick, the veggies, fish and meat are always good. I have not had one dish that I have not liked.

My wife and I chose Seasons & Regions at the last minute from TripAdvisor's list. We were visiting family in Portland, and ended up with time on our own. The website didn't specify whether or not it took small party reservations, so I called. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, and reserved us a table. When we arrived 45 minutes later our table was ready. We began with exceptionally friendly and helpful wait staff, who had bread and drinks on the table quickly. A large Mexican tiger shrimp cocktail, shared, got us off to a great start. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled Columbia River chinook, while my wife luxuriated in the local steelhead. Sauteed veggies, grilled squash, mushroom risotto...all were excellent in flavor and plated beautifully. While the food excelled, the service was even better. The coffee and water were never empty for more than a moment, every special request was immediately tended to, and friendliness made us feel welcome. Overall, I rate this as an exceptional dining experience without being too stuffy or pricey.

We always go to seasons and regions because we will get a great meal, in a very comfortable setting. It is good for brunch, lunch, dinner and cheap eats, each of which we have had many times.

After landing we checked in and looked on TA to find a seafood place. We chose Seasons based on reviews and hopped in an Uber. We were very surprised to find a wait at 6pm on a Thursday. I think we were the only ones who were not locals! We had to wait about 20 minutes, which was enough time to have a glass of wine. The food was excellent, the service was what you would expect from a place full of locals - personable, knowledgable, and attentive. They are not near the water, located on a busy street but well worth the time and effort. Get reservations!

We (2 persons) arrived on a weekend night around 5:30 without a reservation and were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes. The place was humming with patrons, both seated and waiting. We asked to be called when a table was available, and returned to our car to wait. An hour later, my husband queried the staff regarding our position in line. He was told that we were next. He then observed at least four sets of four people who were let in. After 1 1/2 hours of waiting, he demanded that we be seated. The host said the foursomes had had reservations. That may be true, but they had walked in and come back out to the parking lot and waited half an hour to be called. Ultimately, the host found a table for us--right next to the restrooms. It felt like we were seated in the last row of an airplane, with the toilets behind us, and a constant stream of people squeezing past me to use them. Yuk! Because of the wait, the host gave us a free appetizer. It was the salmon tater tots, which were tasty. We both ordered the razor clams, which were well cooked, with a crispy coating, that was a little too heavy, overwhelming the clams inside. The entrée came with a soup or salad, which were good, some fresh vegetables, and mashed potatoes. Everything was good, but didn't rise to the quality of food served at our two favorite seafood restaurants: Jakes and Salty's. I don't understand the popularity of this restaurant. If you do go, make a reservation and refuse the table for two by the restrooms. Don't expect to have an intimate conversation with your dinner companion, since the din precludes that.

In all 10 years we've been coming, S&R has always been a true delight. Incredible seasonal, fresh, well prepared, seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Waitstaff know us by name and know all our favorites. Love the ever evolving menu and drinks. What a treat!

This was a great all around seafood place! Ambiance was awesome on the patio on a beautiful night. Oyster shots were great and the parmasean crusted halibut was awesome. Parking at the place was very limited but spots down the street.

Let down at Seasons and Regions. Walked in for Cheap Food 05/01/2017 at 9 pm. The placed smelled like urine or bad something. Ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and the Cajun Chicken Pasta. The pasta was good, but the Fried Chicken was cold and the portion of chicken was mostly crust. After we arrived the staff had chairs turned upside down on the tables. Took awhile for waitress to check on us during meal, and had to wait for check.

We went New Years Eve for their special and had a wonderful meal with wine pairings. Have also gone for Happy Hour and enjoyed everything except the calamari. When the table next to us got theirs, we noticed it looked very different. Maybe we just got a bad batch. Parking can be a challenge. We had to park across the street at the Community Center. Great service and it will be one of our "go to's" !

Lunched here the other day. Oh my,the food was outstanding and very fresh. I had the razor clams, perfect. The dishes my friends selected were excellent as well. Service was above par.

One nice thing about this place is that they accept reservations for Saturday and Sunday brunch. They start you off with fresh scones, which is nice while you are waiting for your food. It would be better if they were warm, however. Good drinks to start off and several fresh juices. Huevos Ranchero arrived with a different, odd presentation but tasted great! Chicken and waffles was huge and delicious. Good portion sizes all around and friendly staff.

Seasons & Regions was a great find! TheThai Curry Coconut Shrimp appetizer was SO good! The dipping sauce was delicious! My husband had the Grilled Teriyaki Swordfish Kabobs and I had the Pacific Sole Parmesan as our entrees. Both were wonderful. Bread and a choice of soup or salad are included in the price of the meal. We took home a slice of chocolate banana cream pie to share for dessert, and it was also a winner. We will definitely be returning to this great find for special occasions! I'd also like to try lunch and the Happy Hour menu.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. First, they have a very good smoked salmon with sliced cucumber, gluten free cracker and caper platter appetizer among other appetizer items that is so wonderful. The smoked salmon is served warm and so fresh. They have a good section of menu items. I have been having their combination seafood platter which awesome. Very fresh and tasty. Good job Seasons & Regions!

We don’t live in Oregon, but always make sure we come to Seasons. Great food and friendly staff. The cheap eats available during off hours are a great bargain!

Great experience all around. This is a charming, slightly funky place with excellent food; my favorite combination! We are locals who have not been here in years and we're so happy to have rediscovered it. They have craft cocktails and excellent seafood at fair prices. We'll be back soon!

I have been here a few times and it has been consistently good food. I love their stylized drinks and inventive sauces. It is very crowded and loud and the parking is impossible, but the food is worth a try. I recommend the seafood.

And for a good reason, the food, service and price are fantastic. Honestly, I have never been disappointed. Recently I had the zucchini Parmesan and it was perfect. Great place to meet friends. Also, I always look forward to buying my tomato stars in early spring.

One of our favorite restaurants in Portland. Amazing fresh food along with awesome drinks. The raspberry drink 🍸 is my favorite ( try it ). One of the only things I miss about moving away from Oregon is that I can’t hit this place up on the regular. We always visit when we’re in town.

We look forward to eating at Seasons and Regions whenever we are in Portland. Varied menu includes fish, salads, homemade desserts. Try the fresh almond coated fish with beurre blanc or the fried chicken. Vegetarian menu and good wine list. Very reasonable prices too.

Small restaurant on main boulevard. Crowded, noisy, with crazy parking. (Many park down the road across the street in lot.) Outdoor seating in good weather. Average food, bordering on tasteless. Waitress blew two of our orders.

Came here on the recommendation of the locals. A small place but it is well worth the drive and a wait if there is one. Nate was our food server and very attentive, The menu is varied and the portions are very good. It looks like homemade desserts in the refrigerator case but we were too full to try one.

I like to come here when I am in Portland. Today I had salmon with heirloom tomatoes relish and balsamic vinegar reduction. Excellent. We also had gazpacho, brisket pot roast and a baby shrimp tostada. All were great. The small bites menu from 3 to 5 is a great value for money. Do it...eat hete

After a long day traveling we wanted seafood and a comfortable easy atmosphere on a cool damp night. This place absolutely filled the bill. The menu was both extensive and creative, the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was outstanding! For an app, the halibut tater tots were both creative and delicious. My husband’s fish enchilada was huge and well done and my blackened salmon hash was to die for. It consisted of a perfectly prepared and buttery blackened salmon filet on a bed of winter vegetable hash, including both yams and brussels sprouts. They also had a good selection of reasonably priced and very good wines. Although we were stuffed, we couldn’t resist sharing one of their housemade desserts and opted for a butterscotch pot de creme that was light and buttery and a perfect ending. Even better, the pricing was reasonable, especially for the quality. We will definitely return to this gem of a Portland restaurant. Unpretentious but exquisite.

We have eaten here many times and always loved it, but it was such a disappointment last weekend as we took out of town guests. The halibut four of us ordered did not taste fresh and the crab cakes were not their usual great flavor. Is there new management? New chef? Food has always been so consistent in the past. Hope it returns to being great again.

Went with a friend who's a local here. She steered us right. Hard to get into this spot, but worth the effort. Really good food on the happy hour menu, and loved the prices.

This place has wonderful seafood. They always serve what is fresh now. Breakfast, lunch or dinner + brunch and happy hour. Do not miss this place.

Smallish neighborhood restaurant with amazing food. We were lucky enuf to get a table on the renovated covered patio, nice redo! Had to try the salmon tater tots and was so glad we did. The salmon was incorporated in the tot with a great aioli on the plate. Then crab cakes, lovely meaty cakes. We didn't really have room for dessert but hey, it was a birthday party, so we shared raspberry crème brule on which they placed candles. I wanted to lick the plate. Did I mention the food was amazing? We had fun attentive service which helped, and a neighboring table initiated the birthday song. This place doesn't disappoint.

We eat here 1x a month. Most recently for a birthday celebration. Great food, great service, inventive cocktail. Awesome neighborhood establishment.

Friends took us this restaurant. The day had been hot--in the mid-80's, so we were happy to be seated in the outdoor-tented area. My fried razor clams were delicious--tender and not overcooked as is often the case, and served with a yummy tartar sauce. I did think the chef's decision to serve these with mashed potatoes was a bit weird, but the sauteed vegetables were OK. My husband and our friends loved the hot seafood salad. And the carrot cake was really scrumptious-one humongous slice served 5 of us! Service was professional and prompt and prices were quite reasonable.

We had planned to come here as a couple, but some friends wanted to also come with us although she dislikes seafood/fish, but HE doesn't! We told her they had chicken items on the menu which she was quite good with! She ended up ordering the beef brisket, however, and said it was AMAZING! I could tell it was VERY tender as she gently cut it into bite sized pieces with her fork! She also mentioned how good the mashed potatoes were! My husband had the scallops entree (Maine Sea Scallops Cavatappi) which he said were perfectly cooked, I had the Three Shrimp Linguine which was truly delicious, and friend's husband ordered the fish and chips!! We all thought these entrees were well prepared and a pleasure to enjoy for dinner. We also ordered the whole loaf of the foccacia bread with the flavored butter, and it was also VERY good! We remarked on our way home that this just may be our new "go to" restaurant for seafood as so many of our other favorites have closed in the area!! We plan to return again! AND our sweet server, Rachel, was great!! She was not only very efficient, but she also has a smile that really made us feel comfortable and welcomed! And as I told her, she looks like she could be our dear friends' daughter's TWIN! Both are sweet, so very pretty, and have amazing smiles!

Went here with my niece that lives close to the restaurant. We are from out of town and will definitely come back on our next visit! Everything is so fresh and not ordinary. If you are crazy about oysters, have the Hangtown Fry! My husband raved about the dish. My niece and I had the Chefs Choice. Two thumbs up! Actually 4, her two & my 2! LOL! Homemade applesauce with homework applewood sausage patties(2), two perfectly poached eggs and 2 potato pancakes. I got extra applesauce. We also got complimentary scones. Yes, they were fabulous. The coffee nudges were delicious also! Our server was outstanding too! If you're looking for something delicious & fresh-stop here!!

This restaurant was pretty busy when we came for a light meal, but we were seated quickly, and got our food within a reasonable amount of time. Husband had their fish and chips which he said were very good, and I had the coconut shrimp, an appetizer, as my main entree as I wasn't too hungry after a late lunch. The shrimp were VERY delicious! We will definitely be back as they do such a good job with seafood!!

We have eaten here several times in the last several years. Once we were disappointed: the evening we arrived without a reservation and the wait for a table was at least an hour. Every other visit we had good food, attentive service, pleasant informal ambiance. Pick what is in season and local. The razor clams were delightful; Wallapa Bay oysters a bit mushy. Crab cakes were good, but not a match for those at Busboys and Poets in Arlington; that is inevitable until Dungeness is a match for blue crab. We will come again when we visit the region, no matter what the seaon. (If you are nearby at the end of lunch or the end of dinner, the cheap meal of the day is the best food for money deal since I left home and Mom's kitchen behind.)

The triple berry martini was fabulous. My fish and chips were over cooked. It has a great atmosphere, the device was excellent and the wood bar was beautiful.

this is a good quaint restaurant with a lot of neighborhood buzz. Obviously busy with plenty of locals, the food is good and exceptional with great flavor.

We have been here many times as a couple, as a family, or with groups for celebrations. We have always been very pleased with the quality of food and attentive service. The seafood dishes are very well prepared, the drinks are well done, and they have great desserts. The chocolate mouse cake is a favorite.

Great food all around! From the appetizers to the tomato basil bisque to the seafood to the homemade ice cream dessert. Small place so it gets crowded but well worth the wait. And the service is great too.

I wanted to eat fish and we enjoyed! This was recommended by local people. Had very good fish there. Would go back again.

I've eaten at Seasons & Regions before and fell in love with their Tiger Shrimp Bruschetta appetizer, so I was really looking forward to having dinner there with my friend and enjoying this dish once again. Imagine my chagrin when we found it was no longer on the menu, even though it showed up on the on-line menu. But, I was never one to back away, and asked the waitress what happened to it. She checked with the kitchen and came back to announce that they could and would make it for me. That's what makes this a great place: the willingness to make changes and to do it with a smile. The service is fantastic. Prices are well within what might be expected for a very good, filling meal. Add to that the fact it is in an area with few good restaurants and it makes it one of my "go-to" places. Why didn't I give it a "5"? The appetizer was large, so I just got a bowl of what I consider one of my favorite soups to round off the meal, the tomato basil soup. But this soup left a lot to be desired. Presentation was good, pretty lines drawn on it with cream. The texture was fantastic--cooked just right. But it tasted like it was made with fish stock, and not even good fish stock. And that's my "thing". Somebody else might have loved it. My friend, who ordered the same meal I did, didn't like it. I didn't either, so marked the restaurant down just one dot.

We ate here last night and may go back again tonight it was so good! If you go before 5:30 pm they have a 'Cheap Food' menu where the entrees cost about $6. The four of us ordered a mixture of cocktails, 'Cheap Food,' Appetizers, Entree Salads, and Entrees. We didn't get to try the soups or desserts and know we missed out. Everything was so delicious, fresh and perfectly seasoned. We all ate seafood centered meals which is a treat for us, coming from the Southwest. I can unequivocally recommend this for dinner. At 4:30 pm we had our choice of seating but when we left after 6 pm every table was filled. Go early!

we ordered fish dinners for us and our friends that just moved to the Portland area. We found this good foodie take out on DDD. We ordered Dover Sole Parmesan, Southern Fried Chicken, Ginger Lime Salmon and the Yakisoba with Fish. all the mains and sides were excellent and quite surprisingly proved to be very good takeout.

This was our second visit. We love that the menu is hugely varied, healthy and tasty and the ambiance cozy with booths and tables which gave it a very mom & pop back home vibe. The prices we're reasonable and the wait staff (shout out to Fin our waiter who was so gracious) were very attentive. The food was served way quicker than we had expected considering how busy it was. We will definitely be returning.

The seafood here is top notch, cooked perfectly, with just the right amount and kinds of seasoning. Their hamburgers are really excellent, but the fries are average to above average. The rockfish fish and chips are really great (fries ok though). Service is very attentive and good.

My wife and I had come to Portland for a concert from our home in southern Oregon and decided to try your restaurant for dinner. Actually Yelp assisted us in our choice since Map Quest helped us find our way around and Yelp took over. Even though we were a half hour early we were fortunate to be seated shortly after we arrived on a very busy Saturday night. Interestingly good service impresses me more than good food (that's not to say good quality food is not important) but I was impressed. I can highly recommend the scallops and the stuffed halibut. I could not see how they could have been improved. The food, the service and the eclectic ambiance over came the slightly, but not unreasonable price. We will return and will certainly recommend Seasons and Regions Seafood Grill. Jerry

Whenever we go to Portland we make a stop at Seasons and Regions. Nothing fancy but food is solid and reliable. Try the fried chicken, the salmon, and the sole in a beurre blanc sauce. Homemade desserts are great. If you arrive after 9 pm everything on the menu is sold at a remarkable discount. Something for everyone in the family.

Farm raised Atlantic salmon-WHAT????? I have been a happy and contented customer of Seasons and Regions since I moved to Portland in 2010. Last night I ordered my favorite entree, Mustard Dill Salmon. When it came to the table it looked delicious, but when I took my first bite it tasted bland and I noticed that the meat was beige and lacking the characteristic pink/red salmon color. When our server came to the table I asked her what type of salmon it was and I was shocked to hear her say, Its farmed Atlantic Salmon. I avoid farmed fish at all costs. It is unhealthy to consume and the industry itself is harmful to the wild salmon population. I may eat at S and R at some future date, but going forward, I will ask more questions before assuming the freshness and sustainability of their seafood!

We celebrated a milestone birthday this weekend with close friends and family. Jason was wonderful to plan the event with and everything came together and even exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was boisterous and fun, the table set to our requests, the planned menu with five entree choices was just right and delicious and the cakes we provided were served expertly. More specifically, our server Chelsea 🎷was excellent. She was efficient without rushing the courses and she was friendly without being intrusive. Every request was handled cheerfully and professionally. Well done! 👏🏼 Thanks, Seasons & Regions, for a satisfying, memorable evening for all! 👍🏼

This is a restaurant where I go frequently. And I am not alone. Terrific food at an easy on the wallet price. I love the fact that the chef sources his ingredients locally, including from his and his wife’s local farm. (In the spring, they sell beautiful tomato plants at the restaurant. Great varieties, including many heirlooms.). Low key environment with delicious food. Can’t go wrong. Give it a try!

This is the restaurant we always go to when I meet friends for lunch. Always great food and a diverse selection. I have one friend that has dietary restrictions, and they are always able to accommodate her requests. I use the "drive through" window when it's just me and I'm too lazy to get out of the car! While everything I have had has been great, my favorite is the razor clams! One ask...add a steak and I'd be there every week!

Very good experience from the appetizer through desert. Our calamari appetizer was good right and nicely seasoned. Main course servings were generous as was the salad. The desert serving we split was more than enough for two. We will be back to this very fine SW Portland experience.

I really liked every thing I had here. I ate here five times last week and I was never disappointed. Each thing was different and they were all good. They were quick and they treated me very well. Yum! Yum !Yum !

Years ago when my kids lived in Portland we loved to come here to this cozy restaurant. The tomato basil soup is still here and was still good. The filet mignon we loved was gone. Service was good. We had a little mishap with something being in one of the meals that was not supposed to be there but the meal was comped and free desserts given. The food was still good...just different than what we remembered. I think my son said there was a different owner now. I so wanted to love this place again.

Travelled in Portland this past Spring 2019 and really enjoyed the people and food there - we were driving back from the Hoyt Arboretum and decided to have an early dinner at Seasons & Regions, located just a few minutes from our downtown hotel. We were seated at a nice covered patio on a sunny day and started off with the Salmon Tots - delectable morsels of salmon atop a spicy sauce. Entrees were AMAZING - highly recommend the fresh Oregon Rockfish & Spring Vegetable Risotto, cooked to perfection and scrumptiously served with a light sauce. The seafood here is very fresh, beautifully prepared, and very yummy. Good for families and special occasions. Serve room for dessert.

We had dinner at Seasons & Regions on our first night in Portland. We sat out on the enclosed patio and it was so much fun. Our waitress was great and very helpful. We all ordered something different and passed the dished around for everyone to taste. I had the pot stickers and a salad. It was definitely big enough for a meal!!! My mom and SIL had the crab cakes, and those were good as well. For dessert, we had the brownie sundae and bread pudding and both were AMAZING. We will definitely revisit if we are ever back in Portland!

WOW, what a great find. By far the best meal we have had in Portland. Our server, Josh, was great and very informative with wonderful suggestions. The crab cakes were superb, the combo platter was also a hit and two had the crab stuffed halibut. We liked it so well we have reservations for tomorrow night.

Good service, bad oysters. What's to say? The sad fact is that Portland, for all its deservedly culinary reputation, once one leaves downtown and heads west into the burbs, there are few restaurants to praise (all the really great places are east of the Willamette river). Alas, S&R is a prime example. Tucked away on a west-side road, it gets most of its business from locals too indolent or fearful to make the east side trek. S&R is overpriced for the quality of the food, crowded and features some of the most uncomfortable seating imaginable. If you're from out of town.....don't!

Great spot on westside. Local hangout for a reason. Parking can be a problem but they have a side lot. Chef is very good with anything but concentrates on seafood. Everything on menu sounds an tastes good.

This was an outstanding venue and very kid friendly for the upscale food and service located in SW Portland area. We were visiting our 2 year old granddaughter and wanted seafood but were worried about having a child at dinner and it's unpredictabilities. We noted a gravel playground outside the entrance, perfect for keeping a toddler and older occupied when waiting for a table. Reservations at dinner is a must as the seating capacity is somewhat limited. The service was excellent--they even brought our granddaughter's food out early so she didn't have to wait so long. There's a kids menu with healthy choices and a weekly specials for adults.

Just a few parking spots in the lot, and no nearby street parking, plan to walk 1/4 mile in the rain. Food is decent, but the lack of parking doesn't make me want to go back.

We just 'made it' in time (around 2 pm) as Seasons & Regions closes their brunch menu at 2:30 pm. Good to CALL to verify what's being served before you go. They HAVE A Gluten Free Menu for those who are following that regimen and they made us feel at ease just asking. Service is always great; but this time my eggs weren't hot. When our waiter found out, she offered to re-make them but I didn't want to wait so just kept going. Though the flavors were very good, the overall effect wasn't. Husband chose their salmon scramble. he thoroughly enjoyed it. My Eggs Benedict were tasty but definitely NOT warm. Decaf coffee didn't taste that fresh by my brunch partner's Americano suited him well. To our surprise the waiter offered us a free dessert after realizing my breakfast wasn't up to par. We chose a single serving (large) creme brulee. It made a nice treat the following day after dinner.

The food here is amazing. Cute place. It’s small but just makes it intimate. We were in Portland for 2 nights and ate there both nights. The smoked salmon chowder is so good you want to cry when your bowl is empty. I’m not kidding. I had the stuffed halibut, it was a special on the menu. It was melt in your mouth delicious. We also had fried oysters, which were amazing. Salmon and spinach dip was bubbly hot when it arrived and you guessed it...amazing. This has to be one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever been to. Wait staff was so nice and very attentive. Full bar. The desserts! Come on! The carrot cake was so fresh and really great. Hot coffe desserts, they call them dessert in a cup and it’s true. Even on a busy night we were able to get a table right away. They have patio seating but it was raining so the sides were closed but the patio is still open. Prices were on point for the quality and service. Don’t miss this place if you are in the area. You be full and happy!

Met friends last eve at this casual seafood grill. Wait staff was quick to seat us & supply us with menus. Server was kind and attentive. The food was delicious and portions plentiful.

We wanted seafood and selected this restaurant. It has a front outdoor area which was pleasant. The food was delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed his/her meal. The service was very good. We would eat here again.

I love this place. The food is always fresh and well prepared. Prices are amazing for the quality and service level. Seasonal ingredients and Northwest seafood are highlights and for cafe meals of burgers and Fish and Chips are top quality for the price. I put this among the best restaurants in Portland for reliably great food at good prices.

We went for Sunday brunch at noon. Were glad to find a restaurant that serves breakfast that late and where we could make a reservation. The parking lot is small but there is overflow parking less than half block away. Seated at the outdoor patio - although it was over 90 degrees that day, the patio is covered so you aren't in direct sunlight. Service was fast and attentive. Everyone liked their breakfast well enough, but no one remarked that it was especially good. The menu is extensive - lots of choices for breakfast or lunch. Plenty of breakfasts that included seafood. Mimosas were good, especially the one that included pineapple juice. I'd like to go back and try something on the lunch or dinner menu. They do have their soups available for sale in quarts.

Portland is a great city, but the road side parking has a two hour limit. This makes it almost impossible to go to a good restaurant. So we wanted Seafood, but didn’t want to deal with car parking issues. Seasons has its own parking and it made our choice simple. The food was more than excellent. Very busy, but we expected that. Service was excellent. Price was a bargain.

So good missed the happy hour menu but had a great time at the small bar. Good pour & cold draft beer. We will get here earlier next time.

Not sure how we found this place, but it's right in the middle of a small part of town and neighborhood. All tables full, very lively, very fun and service was great. As ws the food!

Happy Hour is a feast for the eyes and tummy! Great deals every day from 4-5 or 8-9 Creamy Grits! Crispy Cauliflower? Shrimp Diablo!

As I am new to Portland, I lucked upon this restaurant via Trip Advisor since I am staying in Multnomah village and this restaurant was close. Also, coming from Arizona, I was dying for good seafood. This was a great surprise. I went on a Tuesday evening and was seated with no wait, great service and wonderful food. I started with the fried oysters and then onto the (rockfish?) risotto. Both were excellent and really generous portions. It was so good, I'm going back again this evening.......one week later!

Had lunch here for husband's birthday. Though not at all 'fancy,' the food is always good, the wait staff attentive and the value excellent. We enjoyed our meals then splurged on a huge piece of chocolate mousse cake. Truly grateful we found this tiny gem within driving distance of our home.

We had a wonderful lunch with salad and seafood. The waitstaff is courteous and attentive, the food fresh and tasty. The dining area is rustic, almost a little makeshift, but the food makes up for the lack of ambience.

We chose to have dinner with friends here because our food at our last visit was so good. Thankfully, we had a reservation as the parking lot and the restaurant were both pretty full when we arrived at 6:30! Both our friends had the trout which they both liked, and my husband had the swordfish entree which he said was quite good, and only commented that the amount of fish was a bit small for the price, and I had the crab cakes which were pretty good also. Because of the perfectly round shape of the crab cakes, I wondered if they were pre-made elsewhere, and heated and served at the restaurant. They were crispy on the outside and soft inside which I like. They willingly substituted white rice instead of the mashed potatoes due to the dairy products used in those, and the slaw that came with the cakes as well as the broccoli all added to my enjoyment of the entree. Our server was great and the restaurant was quiet enough that we could easily visit with these friends and be heard.

Mediocre food. Slow but very friendly service. Not bad, but not interesting. There’s a tendency to sauce everything too heavily, as well.

There's always something for everyone here. Unfortanately I've never left room to try their great-looking desserts. I tend to go for the salads here--soups in the winter. Service is attentive and genuinely friendly. If you're close in SW you can't do better.

We were pleased with the taste and presentation of our food. The seafood menu is diverse and at a moderate price. Crab cakes were amazing. The dining area is not fancy and the building looks like a converted breakfast chain. Don’t let that fool you, this place is a gem!

I have visited this restaurant for lunch and dinner and have always found the food good; not spectacular but of good quality and well prepared and presented. Especially their razor clams are great. Service was good and the price is very reasonable.

We just keep going back. The food is always fresh and our grandchildren (7 and 9) love the place. They enter the coloring contest every time and so far have each received a gift certificate that keeps us going back. The indoor seating is quite good but the covered outside can be very noisy. Enjoy breakfast and lunch scones that come with your order. They are super yummy. We so enjoyed them being open on New Year's for brunch. A nice way to welcome the new year. Parking can be super difficult but there is ancillary parking at the Jewish Center across the street. They do take reservation and I recommend them. This place is a community hub and busy

Quaint neighborhood resturant serving a very unique menu. The seafood was awesome and parking was convenient.

I had the Willapa Bay oysters. While they were good, they were not that great. The batter was OK but I've certainly had much better fried oysters. The French fries that came with the meal very bland. I had to ask for a couple of slices of lemon to go with the oysters. For $19.50 I would expect better. They only had one kind of cabernet by the glass. It was good, but was $12. So $32 for a meal that was very mediocre. Not a place I will go back to for dinner.

Oh my goodness! If you haven't been here for brunch before, you should know that each entree is served with a complimentary raspberry scone. The scones come out warm and jammy with a light dusting of powdered sugar and accompanied with butter (if you need extra yumminess). These are delicious and trust me you might be tempted to skip them at risk of spoiling your appetite but save your willpower for another occasion and dive into this scone perfection. Hands down the best bites of the day! We were part of a large group celebrating a girlfriend's birthday over brunch. The wait staff did an excellent job. Although we had a reservation, it did take a bit to get the seated and to order - but not too long considering the size of the group. All the entrees looked amazing and everyone had good things to say about there meal. I'd like to go back and try their lunch or dinner menu - so many choices!

I've been here maybe once every two years for the past 20 years -- and I've never been impressed. Very extensive menu -- but all very bland food. The "patio" in the front feels like a construction site -- and has, for the past 20 years! The people are nice, and they are very proud of their diverse menu. But I could not get extra curry sauce -- or even chopsticks!! -- for my (bland) Thai curry chicken rice. Lucky I was there with a friend who LOVES the place, and goes there a lot. So it was a fun lunch.

We were looking for a seafood restaurant on a recent trip to Portland. Read the reviews on this place and thought we’d give it a try. First off, they were not busy....it was 2:00 on Saturday. We got seated quickly and then presented with 2 glasses of water.....it was lukewarm water and no ice. Weird but we had to ask for one new water because one of the glasses had a big chip out of the rim. I also asked for ice. We ordered and that was the last time we saw our waitress for 40 minutes! I ordered a salad and my husband had fried clams and salmon chowder....40 minutes?? My salad came and the shrimp that on the menu said local and we assumed fresh and they were mushy and tasted bad! The waitress came back a few minutes later after noticing that my salad was on the end of the table. I told her the shrimp wasn’t good....she took it away and asked if I wanted anything else. I was hungry but knowing I waited 40 mins the first time and a place known for its seafood gave me bad shrimp,no thanks! My husband did enjoy the chowder and his oysters were fried so if they were not fresh either, the breading and deep fry covered it up. Needless to say I would not recommend this place at all!

After a week at the Oregon coast, my wife and I came back home. On the way we decided to have one last seafood dinner. She decided on Seasons & Regions Seafood Grill. At the time, I'd never been there. To my huge surprise, the seafood dinner at Seasons & Regions topped every place we tried on the coast. Since then it's been our restaurant for special occasions, and last night, Nov. 5, 2019, was just such a time. Our adult kids listen to us talk about places we've been, and Seasons got such rave reviews it became their special place, too. Instead of a brew pub birthday party, they requested Seasons. I was secretly thrilled that they knew the difference between food served, and food served with care. Our server knew every detail of the menu, the drink list, and I'm guessing had a reservoir of knowledge waiting for the next question. The hit of the night was razor clams, even though I had my go-to Hot Seafood Salad. Greens and shrimp and fish made a great plate for two of us, while the other three ordered the clams, with one landing a crab stuffed halibut. We made reservations earlier in the day and got seated in a booth. A family dinner of six in a booth felt like a most Portland night out at the Oregon coast.

Ate here but went away disappointed. Service was slow and my fresh prawn salad tasted liked defrosted prawns from frozen. My husbands fish and chips were soggy chips and heavily breaded and over fried fish. It was very busy and took a long time to be served. We waited to be seated but prebooked people kept getting priority to be seated. If you eat here, I suggest you pre book. When I asked a waitress if we could order, she said yes but I can't serve you because I'm not your waitress? Disappointing meal here, I'm afraid.

We went to dinner here on our first night in Portland and even after the trip was over this was still our favorite meal. The restaurant is a bit on the small side but is so charming and welcoming. We ate out on the enclosed patio which was a great way to get closer to the outdoors but also avoid the chilly evening air. We were a party of 5 and each of us tried something different. Not one of us was disappointed. We started out with the Brussels sprouts appetizer; very well done. Each of us got a seafood dish and everything was great. My only slight bummer about this place was the staff could have been a tad friendlier. They were efficient, just not as welcoming as the atmosphere and food were.

We had just visited the Rex Hill Winery and had a great tasting. We were having a great conversation with the server about the area and what to do and always FOOD. She recommended Seasons and Regions Seafood Grill. She recommend to call for reservations for sure, very popular even for lunch. We followed her recommendations. Very happy in doing so. Very busy for lunch. Had Razor clams. Food was very good and well presented, Wait staff was very efficient and knowledgeable. It is a must for sure. Not on the water, but worth the stop.

My husband and I dined with a friend on Father's Day and I can't say enough about both the service and the food. Even though it was a busy holiday, we were seated promptly and our server immediately greeted us. My husband started with the salmon chowder and my girlfriend and I split the Maui lava shrimp. Both were excellent. For dinner, he had the halibut almondine and my girlfriend and I split the halibut and crab cakes and the Maine scallop and shrimp risotto. I couldn't tell you which was better as all were fabulous. Finally, we all shared the strawberry/rhubarb crisp and the carrot cake 😋. It's not often that everything from beginning to end is as good as this was but we certainly look forward to a return engagement 😍🤩

Wow! The food here is wonderful. I can understand why reservations must be made ahead of time for a Friday or Saturday evening dinner. It is worth the wait! The wait staff is attentive, the chefs in the kitchen are constantly busy preparing great meals, and the desserts are so good that you want to take them home with you. Prices are reasonable and the food is fresh.

Seasons and Regions kills it time and time again, from breakfasts, lunches and dinners, to the best deal CHEAP FOOD, Happy Hours! Have frequented since they opened, and they are spot on. The old Dairy Queen would be proud. Fish is the forte, but so many other dishes are superb!

Great brunch, good selection, I had the crab cake Benedict, very good, would order again. Service was very good. Plenty of food.

We dined with relatives while passing through Portland and found it mostly very good to excellent. The wine and beer lists offered many tastes at reasonable prices. The menu offered selections for nearly every palate. Our selections varied from an Albacore Tuna special with rice & vegetables ( excellent); Fried Oysters; Salmon, and Battered rockfish. All entrees were good to excellent. The ceasar salad was dry, too little dressing, and unattractive croutons. The bread, though served warm, was of the consistency of "Wonder Bread" - not appealing. A definite highlight was a chocolate mousse cake with a scoop of cappuccino ice cream. Our server, Kelly was excellent.

I have eaten some great lunches and dinners here, but didn't realize what a great weekend brunch venue this would be. The huevos rancheros are perfectly prepared. My wife had the halibut cake Benedict that was a nice new take on Benedict. The service is excellent.

This cozy neighborhood spot fills early and stays that way ! I was a solo diner and , luckily , was seated at one of the last tables at 5 pm. The food is average, mostly fried. The razor clams and the calamari were overcooked and nothing special. My Asian Salad was OK. The Pomegranate-Limeade was syrupy , flavorless and disappointing . It is noisy. The service is so-so. You can do a lot better in Portland than this .

We get so wrapped up with use of the word "craft" in relation to beverages today but let's add it to food as well. Kinda' a funky location in SW Portland, nothing special interior, fixtures, furnishings and even table ware yet this place delivers big on the menu and food. Believe their website! We were seated for our anniversary dinner in the tented area which was quiet loud as everyone was happy. When I saw one of Portland's most successful businessmen at a table I thought "Ah, the big guys like this place." Four of us enjoyed fried green tomatoes and shrimp bruscheta appetizers. Beautifully sauced each. The tomato bisque is all you have read about. Velvety and creamy with warm tomato flavor. Entrees were fish 'n chips ($14), Halibut Parmesan ($28), Rockfish Risotto ($19). Prepared wonderfully, sauces to die for although pretty skimpy. The halibut was translucent and baked to perfection. The risotto was undistinguished and probably not the best side. Broccoli was great but just one stem...don't skimp. Jaclynn was our present, generous and charming server. We brought a bottle ($12 corkage) and she was just fine with that. Glasses were clean although a bit generic and quite large. After dinner, we ordered the Key Lime pie and Jaclyn presented it with the compliments of the house (our anniversary). This was a very nice touch since this was our first visit and we weren't regulars. Good move, Jason. This restaurant is an example of how ingredients and thoughtful preparation can make a restaurant great. No, this is not an up-scale, white table cloth joint; it is a neighborhood place that knows what it wants to present, is in no way pretentious, has a fantastic menu, wines you won't find on another wine list in Portland, yet with a touch and style that is as good as any of the Portland Top 25 on Trip Advisor. A few tips...present clean plates and bowl edges...a napkin before they leave the kitchen is all you need to do. I get the paper napkins but get the better ones that can last thru dinner. Get pepper mills that work. Add balsamic when bread is presented. Oh, better bread, please. Yet, importantly for me, this a great value proposition. Why pay for quality that isn't delivered? Here you get your money's worth. Priceless. As we looked around the place, everyone, of all stripes, were enjoying themselves and this was on the night of the big wind storm. Comforting to be at Seasons and Reasons. Congratulations, Greg, Jason and Jaclynn. We are new fans. Proud to spread the word about our exceptional "craft" experience!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. The food was good. Lots of fish. The fish is very well cooked. The flavor is very good. My salmon was good it had a mustard sauce but I didn't taste it. So I would say it's a good restaurant though a bit hit and miss on some dishes.

Best seafood in Portland. Super fresh, beautifully prepared. Worth the wait and the price. Chef Greg is a star. Soups are to die for!

We went for a brunch expecting the usual fare, but OMG, the choices were both delicious and unusual. I had the scramble with fried oysters and it was fantastic. Others at my table had equally tasty entrees. We were started off with homemade scones that were light, warm and very tasty. Our server was friendly, quick, and efficient. My only regret is that I had to make one choice and could not try several of the others brunch selections that looked equally intriguing (e.g. fried clams and scrambled eggs and a scramble with salmon. These will have to wait for next time.

Went for Happy Hour. Had cup of Tomato Basil Bisque with Grilled Cheese in Happy Hour Menu. Tomato Basil Bisque the Best I’ve had to date. The crispy onions were also a nice addition to Brussels sprouts. Didn’t appear to have a Happy Hour Wine.

Went to breakfast/brunch, Choices of scrambles, omelets and special dishes. Rosemary potatoes, red potatoes, cheesy grits and potato pancakes with apple sauce for a choice of carb. They had praline bacon, chicken and waffles buried in gravy, biscuits and gravy. Lots of entrees come with poached eggs. Scones gratis. Good coffee, good service, we sat on the covered patio. Everything was good and we will go back. You can make reservations for brunch and they have parking both on site and across the street in a lot.

I had driven by this place on a previous visit to Portland. I prefer smaller, local locations- and this fit the bill! Parking was down the street in a community center parking lot, as the on site parking was full. Not difficult, as there was a light to cross the main road. Once inside, cozy space! We were told we might have to wait 15-20 minutes, however it wasn't even 10 and we were seated. Fresh warm bread- always a winner with me! We all had different seafood selections and they were all very tasty. Ordered the smoked salmon tots from a recommendation from the server. She said they were the most popular item on the app menu. They were okay- a bit long in the fryer maybe so didn't taste the sublteness of the smoked salmon. They were very shareable but I think I regret not doing a regular crab cake or fish cake. The smoked salmon chowder was another story! Great flavor and very rich! Glad I only had a cup! We splurged on a dessert to share, as we hadn't really done many desserts on this trip. The Marionberry, Raspberry, Blueberry crisp didn't disappoint! It was served warm with a crispy crumble top. Delish!! Wish there had been a bit more whipped cream.

Ok, Park 2 blocks away in the overflow lot at the Jewish Community Center, then squeeze into a small space in a booth or rickety table, then just make your mouth happy with some fresh, clever fare, good service, and forget all that other stuff!

Went for a Birthday dinner with a group of 6 including 1 Vegan& 2 Vegetarians so it can be a bit tricky, You have to request it but they have a separate menu for Vegetarians and the items that can be made or are Vegan are marked. All members of our party seemed pleased with their food and they even brought a small desert with a candle for our birthday girl. Wonderful wine selection, charming and courteous staff

I've dined at Seasons & Regions twice and can't wait to return. Our party ordered the razor clams, the rockfish gumbo and other dishes. All were exquisitely done. The clams had a light crisp bread coating cooked just right. The gumbo was close to the best I've ever had, with the rockfish melting in the mouth with a spicy sauce, okra and andouille sausage. I started with their legendary smoked salmon chowder. You must order this if you go. Each spoonful has you oohing and aahing over the rich flavor. Portions are ample, prices are good and the service attentive and cheerful. If you have room for it, also try their mouthwatering desserts. I highly recommend this cosy, neighborhood place. Well worth the experience.

Our group of 6 came for brunch, they accept reservations (which we didn't know). While outdoor seating was available for our size of the group, it must have been reserved for someone else. We got seated inside in the booth with long bench style chair. Ordered a variety of items, everyone was happy with what they got. Their scrambles are excellent. The eggs Benedict was really good as well. Large thick bacons, every entrée got a raspberry scone. Good service, reasonably priced. We enjoyed our breakfast.

We come here everytime we are in town. Today we made reservation, ehen we showed up our table was ready. We ordered Sea food. Willapa Bay Oysters, Oregon Sea Bass, Scallops and Salmon. All were great! our server Jasmine was on top of things, made for a Great dining experience.

Great good and great service. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. I had the seafood dish with the salmon, rock fish and fish cake. We were too stuffed for dessert but they looked wonderful. I am visiting but will definitely go back when I am in the area again!

we came with another couple and we all had great entrees. the chowder that came with the dinners were good too.

Had a wonderful dinner at seasons and regions. Excellent crab risotto, scallop risotto, shrimp, desserts. The folks working were having a good time, and providing excellent customer service. Our wait person Emily was exceptional. With all of the competition in Portland, this small quirky restaurant rates a five star. It was a great way to spent a special evening.

This is our second time in the restaurant. This time as well the food was great , well prepared and tested good. Reasonable priced. Highly recommended.

Tasty food and good value for money. A bit out of the way for tourists spending most of their time downtown, but not overly inaccessible if you have your own transportation.

We've eaten here twice, and both times we were impressed with the service and quality of the meals. Outstanding "cheap eats" happy hour menu. If we lived closer, we'd eat here more often.

My wife and I were in Portland for our 20th anniversary and were looking for seafood. We decided to try Seasons after striking out at other restaurants. The food was fantastic starting with wonderful soups. Our entrées were perfectly cooked and delicious. This place was very busy on a Friday evening despite us getting there early but it was worth the wait.

As first time customers we were uncertain about the restaurant from the outside. But the inside was fun, friendly and featured an impressive menu. We chose Parmesan crusted sole filet and salmon, but had 15 other great seafood options. This place is well suited for casual diners who love seafood.

My wife and I live in Eastern Oregon. Every time we are in the Portland area, we eat at Seasons and Regions. We always have great food and awesome service. We highly recommend this restaurant!!

Great seafood, we had mussels and crab cakes. The portions were quite generous. The place was very busy, crowded and loud. Our food was delivered quickly, however, not so the wine. It came after we had completely finished the meal. Perhaps they could be a bit better orchestrated.

We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday night at 6pm, but they got us seated in about 15 minutes. It was worth the wait. The tomato soup is fantastic. The steam clams were perfect as was my serving of scallops. My wife had the rockfish and she was raving about it. Good wine list and service was spot on.

It was a smaller restaurant, but packed. Despite this the service was still prompt. The food was of high quality, and delicious. We tried a couple of drinks on the Specials list and they were outstanding.

We ate dinner here on our first night in Portland. Everything was delicious! We had reservations for 6:30, and were seated as soon as we walked in. I had the salmon pot stickers and a salad and both were amazing! My mom and SIL had the crab cakes and liked those as well. It's a quaint little place with delicious food!

We had out of town guests and needed lunch after a seeing a couple sites in Northwest Portland. I had read about this grill, but had never been there, so we decided to give it a try. What a delight. We sat outside on the covered patio. All four in our party ordered something different, from fish and chips to fish tacos and shrimp Louie. Very good service and very good food in a relaxed, informal setting. So much to choose from. We'll be back - very soon - to sample a bit more.

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday night. If you go make reservations as this place is packed. We both ordered the crab stuffed Halibut and it was great. The waitress guided me to a lighter craft beer and it was very good. The restaurant is not fancy but the food is fantastic. There is not much parkng but they have over flow parking across the street.

This restaurant was recommended by a local and proved an excellent choice. We were attending a conference downtown, and I took a group of previous students for dinner. Our group of six sat on the patio and received friendly, helpful and prompt service. In addition to the food we ordered, we were given additional little appetizers and although too full for desert enjoyed the one spoon of delicious ice-cream per person that arrived at the end. The food was good, especially the oysters and crab cakes, and portions were extremely generous (even compared to Chicago where people rarely go home hungry). The prices seemed extremely reasonable for the high quality. One of us did not receive a requested drink but received an apology and of course we were not billed for it. Overall we had a fantastic time.

Had reservations for Sunday Brunch, could hardly get in the door, got seated right away. The menu was not your usual fare for Sunday brunch. I ordered the Hangtown Fry which was loaded with mushrooms, oysters and cheese with egg. Delicious.

We've dined here several times before but this is my first review. Stopped in here after a hectic bunch of errands on "Black Friday" and BOY were we HAPPY we made it in. Arrived a little after 4; sat on their warm covered patio. I had their Asian flavored sturgeon with veggies, rice & yummy mango salsa. Hubby had their pork sandwich & chips (scarfed them up rapidly). We shared the Asian spinach salad with slivered almonds and orange slices; so GOOD! Each had dessert; he tried their chocolate chip cookie (huge) & claimed it was worth every calorie. I had their key lime pie; a little over-sweet and too low on lime flavor for my preference. But all-in-all, this restaurant is still A FAVORITE... Great price, excellent service and incredibly good food that's not only identifiable, it's nurturing!!!

Fish tacos were delicious! My husband especially enjoyed the cheesecake! Our son visits "Seasons" often and thought that we would enjoy it as well. We certainly did!

I've eaten at this restaurant several times with my husband and in-laws, and the food is fantastic! Very unique menu choices at good prices, and the service is very good despite how crowded it typically is. However in saying that- the parking is TERRIBLE. There is barely any room to park anywhere, and there is like no room to wait around until your table is ready. On that note, expect to wait a LONG time before getting seated if you arrive at any time after 5pm. Overall this place is a good restaurant, it is just too small and terriblely located. CAR POOL IS A MUST!!

This place instantly has become one of my favorite lunch spots. Their prices are extremely reasonable with a whole page of lunch items around $10 to choose from and their menu rotates regularly. That is outside of some other great items on their regular menu. I ordered the parmesan crusted dover sole. It was amazing and came with delicious sauce, veggies and garlic mashed for $9! Highly recommend, though everything everyone ordered was delicious. The fried chicken sandwich another table ordered looked particularly amazing so I may try that next time, though this place is popular for its seafood. Additionally, they also serve free bread that was great as well. If I had one complaint it would be the amount of time it took to get the food, but we will definitely be back to try again.

I have to admit , I'm obsessed with good seafood, especially razor clams. The funny thing is you would think that Portland, being so close to the Pacific Ocean, would have a plethora of good seafood restaurants and at reasonable prices. So not the case! I've lived here a long time and still really have never understood this! However, This place does it right! Super fresh, perfect panko breading, with simple seasoning to let the natural flavor keep the spotlight. I could go on and on about how delicious the Razor clams are, but for those who are interested in other seafood dishes- S&R doesn't disappoint. Have tried their fish N chips, stuffed sole, salmon, calamari: ALL equally fantastic! To round out the great food, they have great staff as well. Super friendly, hard working and accommodating. There is a large covered patio area, but seating inside the restaurant is very limited. Definitely recommend reservations during traditional meal times. For Portland, their prices are reasonable.

This is one of our favorite places to go for lunch. Food and service are consistently excellent. Parking and seating can be a challenge on weekends. But, don’t let that deter you

A huge seafood menu, great service, great food. The crabcakes and salmon were to die for. They make their own desserts—we had key lime pie, but almost got the peach cobbler. We went on a weekday without a reservation—but you should make one because it's incredibly popular. If the parking lot is full, there's backup parking at the Jewish community center across the street.

My friends and I thought this was a nice place for dinner. There was a bit of a wait, which was expected. The wait staff was friendly. Ambience was nice and comfortable but did get loud at time - and again as expected since this is a popular restaurant. Our dishes were pretty good, especially the Cajun calamari. For the entree, I ordered sea bass and mushroom risotto. The sea bass was a bit overdone and the risotto could have been cooked longer.

This restaurant is terrific; they have the formula for success down. They deserve 5 stars everyday of the week. We ate here for New Years Eve. They were swamped - of course, but they did absolutely everything right. The service was sharp, friendly and extremely efficient. And the seafood! We had trout and parmesan encrusted cod cooked to perfection. We eat a lot of seafood and appreciate a well-seasoned and prepared dish. Thanks so much!

We go for the Cheap Eats about 2 times a month. A rotating variety of delicious items are available on the $4 and $6 menu from 3 until 5:30 every day. Once a year they have a Crab Feast which is truly an exceptional meal of local dungeness crab paired with wonderful wines. Soooo good!

My husband and I stopped by with another couple for happy hour and enjoyed two wonderful dishes. Although this is a seafood restaurant, they are known for other dishes. I had the southern fried chicken dinner with garlic mashed potatoes and English peas. Was delightful, crust on the chicken was perfectly done. My husband had the Cajun catfish saute and grits. The fish was sauteed with mushrooms, onions and a tomato and Cajun cream sauce served over cheesy grits. This was wonderful, just a hint of spice, not overwhelming. We finished with a piece of key lime pie, also tasty.

Love this place. Best seafood by far in our area. The calamari is one of my favorites. The farm to fresh makes anything you order taste amazingly. .Can’t wait to come back.

Visited some dear friends who took us to their favorite local restaurant and their praise was confirmed! Great meal and great service! I had a hot seafood salad. My hubby had the crab stuffed flounder. Too stuffed for dessert!

I brought 7 of my colleagues to Seasons & Regions for dinner while in town and all of us had something different. The menu has great variety, the food was incredibly fresh and well prepared. I had the Halibut Almondine in a Beurre Blanc Sauce with asparagus which I highly recommend. The tomato Basil Soup was the best I've ever had, including my own! It was an unseasonably hot evening so the restaurant was a bit too warm for our comfort so I'd recommend dressing lightly if you are going in the summer months as there is not much cross ventilation. The service was amazing!

One of the best brunches in Portland. Chicken and waffles is amazing, in my mind better than Screen Door. I usually go for Sunday brunch and usually don't hit a line

Historically, Portland has not been known as a food town. But trust me, in the last several years, it has grown by leaps and bounds. We discovered today yet another one of those Portland food gems, the Seasons and Regions Restaurant. The atmosphere here is ....come in if you can get in. Well get you a seat or a table and we’ll treat you like family. ....Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The physical space is a bit cluttered but everyone manages to work around the space limitations. There is an outside patio and when we were there, it was completely filled. There is parking and when the small lot next to the restaurant is filled, we understand there is overflow parking somewhere in the area. But let’s get to the food. Seared scallops with vegetable risotto and as a starter, tomato bisque soup, with warm bread. Then there was Blue Dungeness crab cakes with a side of mashed potatoes and sautéed asparagus . After devouring those 2 entrees, we really had no room for dessert. But after my wife recognized there was carrot cake to be had, there was no way she was going to leave without trying it. We compromised by getting a huge slice to go. As we were leaving, I heard a gentlemen say he had heard about the restaurant and thought it was too far to travel to and he lives here. I came 2500 miles to eat here and I will come back again.

Awesome place for local gréât food. We had seasonal razor clams which were awesome. Great service and food. Always a pleasure.

I took a friend for her Birthday lunch at Season's & Regions and we ordered the Mustard & Dill Salmon special and the Thai Curry Chicken Special. The salmon was cooked to perfection with a very light mustard & dill topping that totally complemented the fish. It was accompanied by mashed potatoes and yellow zucchini that completed an excellent meal. My friend found the Thai Curry Chicken to be prepared on the lighter side of spicy which greatly appealed to her palette. We finished our celebration meal with the Kahlua Chocolate Cake which was worth every calorie though our waiter did state this was a no calorie counting type of dessert. This is the place to visit for excellent food, a quiet atmosphere, great coffee, wine, food and dessert-well worth your time and eating dollar investment!

Was in Portland to help our daughter move. After a full day of work we wanted seafood and chose this restaurant because it was close to her new apartment. We started with an order of fried oysters. They were fantastic. Had a halibut special and a salmon dish. Both were great. If burritos are your thing they have the biggest one I've ever seen. The men that were eating them said they were really good. The atmosphere was nice but it was really warm in the restaurant, dress accordingly.

We met friends for dinner at S&R's after not having eaten here for a number of years! WOW! We have missed out because it was very good! I had crab cakes which were excellent, and the others had mussels, rockfish, and curry seabass. All of us commented on how delicious each dish was. We will most definitely plan to return without waiting for years to do so!
Better than Home!
Food delicious, service great, fried oysters were the best I've ever eaten! I recommend it to friends and our of town guests for a real taste treat!
