Recently had dinner here with my husband and sat under the lights next to the river with the city lights in our view. We watched several yachts pass by which was entertaining. The service was fantastic and food was very good. Pricey, but worth it. Note that the restaurant does not have a beer menu (but have a couple of brands available to order if you ask). Would go back there!

- This restaurant is very loud - The pappardelle does not have enough meat to pasta ratio so you end up eating plain pasta - They push bottled water and keep charging for bottles without asking if you want more. We were charged for 3 bottles and I don't think that was accurate. They don't keep the bottle at the table so you don't know - we had a table of 3 and 20% tip was automatically applied. Our service was marginal because they were so busy. They let us know up front that we would be asked to leave at the 2 hour mark. There are much better restaurants in Miami that act Ike they want your business rather than acting like it was our privilege to be in their place

If you are in Miami , a visit is a must!! Beautiful place, delicious food, beautiful people and a very good service! And what about the price? It’s not cheap but is fair enough..... You must visit!!! And if you go a Sunday night, what a party!!!!! Talking about food, Octopus a la plancha is unforgettable!!

The restaurant is located right on the waterfront and it adds to the Miami experience. Our waiter was very nice and made a few recommendations that most likely we would not had ordered. I am glad we did. We shared appetizers- King Crab Croquettes and tuna and fish Tartare my husband also had Petite Bouillabasse -seafood soup. For our main course we ordered Bartlett Pear Ravioli and Chilean Sea Bass. The star of the dinner was the house desert. Amazing, loved it.

I loved that place at one time. I would go there often with guests. I always looked forward to having tequila mixed drinks and to the grilled octopus and the fish dinner, in particular the slt fish. But something changed the last time I visited in December last year. The service was average but the food was not the same quality. The salt fish was not available and the waitress recommendations were salty and inedible. I paid my $ 500 for 3 people and left feeling I will never go back. I loved that place once.

had dinner with friends, octopus, scampi, scallops, all perfectly prepared and tasty. as a whole a five star experience

We had dinner with our children and daughter in law and I’m sad to say it wasn’t as good as we hoped it would be. My husband has dined at Seaspice numerous times and I had once before, so we were excited to bring our kids the eve of our cruise. After we were seated one of the waiters broke our candle. He didn’t apologize, there was broken glass everywhere, even in some of the glasses. He sort of cleaned it up, but I double checked and had to ask for new glasses. Meanwhile our waiter tried to take our drink orders. Terrible start. Service was okay, food was okay, except for my son’s coquilles. Nobody checked on us however, so we never addressed it. I didn’t want to ruin the evening, but was very underwhelmed. Our sparkling water was served at the table next to us, again no opportunity to address. We asked our waiter to space out the courses, but the entrees arrived the moment the appetizers were cleared. I contacted the restaurant a day after but although they asked for some details nothing was offered to compensate.

Amazing service, Amazing food, great ambience overall. Derrick was the most attentive waiter and great energy !! You will not be disappointed !!

Evening began with interesting boat ride up Miami River. Docked at restaurant which was able handle our 35’ vessel. Very busy on a Saturday night with the beautiful people of Miami. Was little delay in getting seated. Despite the crowd the service was friendly and timely. All in my party enjoyed their dinner. Don’t look for bargains here but if you want to be part of the Miami scene you pay to play.

Excellent service and location, great food quality. The icing on the cake was Fabrizio very professional, very open, to give solution and suggestions, pampered us and made the experience in this unique goliardic restaurant. We will definitely return!

We attempted to dine here for lunch via our tender. Although there was only one boat docked and only 4 or 5 tables filled at 12:45 the staff insisted on a $2 per foot docking fee. In the past the fee was waived if less than 2 hours midweek before season in November. As we spend a couple hundred dollars for lunch, we appreciated that service which is no longer available. I would have given them 4 stars otherwise because past dining experience was good but expensive.

In town for. special birthday with family. Went to Seaspice because heard it was nice & beautiful location on water with views. We were seated right away and off to a great start. Our waiter was great at first -- taking drink orders, tc. Music was loud -- couldn't hear each other, but wasn't a big concern. First impressions were wonderful. BUT then it fell apart!! Our waiter took our orders and then we did not see him (Roberto) again the rest of the night!! I KID YOU NOT. I have never had that happen at a nice restaurant before. We had to order 3-4 glasses of wine and/or drinks because it took that long to get our food (over 2 hours). We had to seek someone out to get the drinks. We had a nice table right by the water and we were all in a festive mood, but couldn't believe it. On top of that I told the restaurant at the top of the evening it was a special birthday. NOTHING. They din't bring out dessert (specially requested). We finally got our food -- someone else brought it out. Food was just ok for the price. We saw our waiter again when it was time to pay. This place is all location and ambience. If they could bring service and food to same level it would be five stars!!

The service from the hostess to the bartender and the waiter is excellent. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is amazing! The filet mignon’s sauce is delicious, the chilean sea bass is to die for and the blueberry sangria complements all. The view is excellent as long as there are not big yachts docked. Our view was amazing until 2 yachts docked in-front and that was the end of all. They need to do something about it.

Cozy place, wonderful food and great service... what more? As appetizer, we asked for a Octopus a la plancha. The best ever tasted!! And in the main menu, a yellow tail snapper and a seaspice scampi. The last but not least, incredible Tres leches cake. We do recommend this place, with great view of Miami river!!

The place is very nice and everything but it is not worth the prices, since with the same cost there are better places, I do not recommend them

Really disappointed with the food and the service received. Our server Fabrizzio did not explain to us that the NY strip would arrive on a plate, the steak was not medium-rare but blue... When we pay $85 for a steak, we would like it to arrive at the requested doneness. The pear Ravioli dish was bathed in sauce and the ravioli was so soft that it no longer had any texture. However, it is so easy to cook ravioli, I can't understand how anyone can fail this dish. The Lobster Risotto at PM is simply not up to par with 3 small pieces of lobster at $75, it's too much to pay for a more than ordinary dish. For the wine it was a bottle of Chablis that the waiter opened for us and which he then kindly placed in an ice tray about ten feet from us, except that he forgot to serve us when a glass was empty . I asked for my bottle at my table and did the service myself. For the failed meal and the non-existent service, the management offered us 2 desserts of their choice... Then at the end of the meal, we saw our server again and after explanations, they credited us with the Ravioli dish. The 20% tip, US$94 was automatically on the bill, even if the service was not there. We ate in several restaurants in Miami, we are used to quality and upscale restaurants $$$$ and frankly Seaspice Brasserie is not one of them. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Food was good (we got the seafood platter) we didnt get asked our choice of oysters (East coast or West Coast) but they were still good and fresh The cocktails were good The service was suuuuper slow. The greeting was really rude and after sitting us down she proceed to tell us we had 2 hours max to eat and leave. But then they took 25mins before even coming to the table to take down our order and 15mins extra to bring the cocktails Id recommend if you want fresh seafood but be prepared to not like they staff

We always visit Seaspice while in Miami. Great food, great atmosphere, highly recommended! Great views from the water too!

Seaspice has a lovely ambience by the river, the staff is impeccable and knowledgeable about the menu and wine. I the food was delicious

We had dinner at SeaSpice this past Sunday, and wow, what a fun vibe! Our waiter, Esteban, was amazing definitely one of the best waiters I've encountered. He had such a great personality and made fantastic suggestions for our meal. The DJ was spinning awesome music, and even though the restaurant was packed, the energy was fantastic. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will absolutely return next time we’re in Miami!

What an amazing menu!! The scallops and the foie gras were both fabulous dishes. The staff were all helpful and super warm. As the rain threatened our outdoor dinner though, we got nervous but they were so attentive and luckily we didn't have to move as the rain never came, but their service was very reassuring. I will visit again next time in Miami.

Wonderful venue for spending the afternoon and evening on weekends. I believe this place is superior to others in the Miami River. Good food and service. More expensive than the neighboring restaurants as well, but is worth it. View to the Miami river if you seat outside, what I recommend. We tried the pastas and I recommend the pear truffle ravioli.

Excellent food, will suggest making reservation during weekend. I've been many times to Seaspice and never had a complaint. Lunch time is more of lounge vibe & Sundays afternoon and night time its more upbeat music and party. Overall a must go place in Miami

This is the place you should go to eat small plates and party a lot. I love the truffle pizza, the tartar is also amazing. The service is one of the best in town

The food was good but the service not so much. I was dying of thirst for water and ab angel grace me with his presence. His name was RAY, I am for ever grateful for his kindness. I didn’t see my waiter for over 20 mins and Ray was there to give me service. When ever I go back to sea spice I will request Ray even tho hr isn’t a server. He still severed me the most kindness when I needed it the most and when my server neglected me.

What a place Superb location Superb food Superb service Very attentive staff Amazing menu Hip and trendy I would so much recommend it And each time I come to Miami I go back

I visited the restaurant with My family, for starters Our reservation was not honored and We were seated almost 45 minutes later. We were given the worst table possible under a huge speaker and on the end of the restaurant thus the Server was not available. The food arrived almost 1 hour after ordering and the cherry of the cake, We were overchrged, I expressly told the server I was not going to pay the tip, The amount of the tab usd 478, the amount charged usd 602.28. At that moment I did not notice it, because they tell You that the receipt will go to Your email.... Although I have tried 3 times to have them refund the money, they have not even answered, which for Me is part of their poor service

amazing place went there for late lunch around 4 nice timing to be there before it get busy and the view is amazing the food amazinggggggggg , and they have good service 💙

Had a great time at a solo dinner. My waitress Margo (i think thats her name) was great and made really good recommendations. The food was cooked well and drinks were shaken to perfection. Everything looked picture perfect. Other waiters were even stopping by to check on me. Price was typical for a miami restaurant... i had a bottle of sparkling water, appetizer, main dish and cocktail for 100 plus the 18% gratuity but i added a little more because the service was a+

A beautiful restaurant! The atmosphere and decoration is amazing. I would rate the food with 3-4 stars. But our server Tupac C was a huge disappointment! for me on a special day on Mother's Day I would have expected more. The managers should choose their employees better! He was very slow! Not friendly, a very arrogant manner! We had to wait for everything! For our drinks because the wine and water were not at the table we had to remind him several times. If we had our wine at the table we would have certainly drunk more and ordered more. In the end we didn't even order dessert because to place an order took so long. While we were talking to him he left the table and talked to his colleagues and came back and he did this several times. For a restaurant like this I expect more professionalism!

Came during a week end lunch with my wife. Restaurant is amazing , food is amazing as well. Kevin our server was very attentive and professional. He recommended us The Dover Sole which was a great choice !! Definitely be back again.

I’ve been visiting Miami for 25 years. I had the great fortune of discovering this wonderful restaurant along the Miami River. As a business traveler I often eat at the bar. Shaveli served me. She was knowledgeable about the food, efficient and friendly. Alejandro was the bar back. They were both welcoming with great attitudes and very proud of this establishment. I ordered the executive lunch. Delicious and well prepared food. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return.

If you don't have a low budget and focused on having a good time I would definitely check it out. The service was great, waiter was attentive and asked us if we needed anything else several times. The food was all delicious, lunch menu is good and the waiter gave good recommendations. The view is beautiful for a good afternoon by the river.

Great ambiance on the river. Food and service were both fantastic. Dover Sole was delicious and well prepared. Thoroughly enjoyed!

Includes 18% service charge and waiter tells you that it’s not tip that goes to him to him so asks you to leave a tip where the minimum % amount on the machine is 10%

We had an amazing evening at this restaurant. Our server, Tupac, was so attentive, that our evening went by smoothly quickly. The food is superb, and the drinks go down perfectly well.

Unfortunately I decided to have my wife's 30th birthday dinner at Seaspice and had a horrible experience. I organized the party through Andrea and ended up having multiple issues along the way. First off, we arrived via boat which I let Andrea know via email so there would be space available at the dock but she did not let her staff know so the arrival turned into a 30 minute disaster. Next, we sat down and it took forever for our table to get the drinks with some of our party having to walk up to the bar to get their drinks instead of having the server bring them over. The food was mediocre at best, with the steak as tough as leather. The final straw for me was being charged for 16 people even though we only had 14 people, which meant I paid $250 more than I was supposed to pay. I had made a reservation for 16 people but 2 from my party could not show up last minute, which in the time of COVID should be understood but the restaurant was not understanding. Not to mention Andrea would not answer or return my calls in the days after to resolve the matter. Basically DO NOT BOOK SEASPICE FOR ANY DINNER PARTIES!!!

The atmosphere on the water is fantastic and the food was really good as well. This place is very pricey and I thought the service was slow for what we were paying/tipping. The wine menu is pretty in depth and this restaurant seems like a great place to go on a date.

This trendy downtown Miami bar and restaurant has a huge outdoor area overlooking the water. Reservations for weekend nights must be made weeks in advance. You can request an outside table but it’s not guaranteed. We were lucky to get an outside table right on the water. Yachts pull up constantly, some docking and some just hanging out/floating by. Our only negative was the smell of the exhaust from the yacht motors while they were still running. The outdoor lights are great and the music is trendy. It feels like an outdoor club the later it gets. We had excellent service and food. Highly recommend the king crab tempura appetizer and the froze sangria cocktail! Completely worth the brief (30 min-ish) wait for the prime outdoor table.

Wonderful experience at Seaspice! The food was amazing, especially the tempura king crab!! The service and atmosphere was so much more than we expected and the setting is beautiful on the river. Overall would highly recommend and cannot wait to come back.

We have never experienced such outrageous behaviour. There were six of us who had booked for Outside without any indication of minimum turnover , then we were told that the minimum turnover Outside per guest would be 250 USD . And inside, we would have to wait 15 minutes for the table booked permanently for 20.30. At 8.45 p.m. we were informed that it was not yet possible to predict when we would receive a table. My complaint to Ornella, the “manager”, was completely unnecessary because she behaved as dismissively and outrageously as her employee. So leave it there to go!!!

How can I start with this terrible experience in this place that is so expensive and yet so bad service from the water being giving without ice super room temperature knowing how Miami weather is it should’ve been very Cold , & constantly refilled.i had a party of 13 and had gave our order to our server on time all together and hour and a half later got our food cold and not well cooked... very bad way to be running a place without many people to be helping and maybe makeing sure we would eaither get cold water to at list something to munch on.we were planning to have dessert but we left after we got manager lower our bill 300 less out of 1489dollars.

Seaspice is located on the Miami River which is really upgrading, its still not Venice or the French Riviera. But a trip up the river to Seaspice, after a Mojito or two, and this boathouse was really owned by Howard Hughes (rumor). Then you have a Miami skyline backdrop, a Mediterranean menu, Covid 19 procedures, great staff, two docks w/500 ft.

Seaspice offers a truly beautiful atmosphere with a stylish, vibrant setting right on the water. The view is stunning and creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The food is excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Service is attentive and professional, making the entire experience feel seamless and enjoyable. A fantastic spot for a special night out or a refined waterfront meal.

Avoid this place, the bouncers like to push people and don’t respect nobody. They are very unprofessional and mean.

We waited 30 minutes after our reservation time before they seated us. Meanwhile, there were plenty of empty tables that simply hadn’t been cleared & set. They stuck us in a room so loud no one could hear anyone else at the table speak. The food came out in dribs & drabs. No one’s food was served at the same time and 90 minutes after ordering, our main courses still hadn’t arrived. We were told it took so long for the food to come because the kitchen was so far away it was hard to get through all the people. Then we were told it was too hard to bring out all the plates at the same time because the food was coming from 3 different kitchens. Finally we were told that for the first time ever there was a mechanical problem in the kitchen, & that there were only 3 chefs working. When the food did come, it was either oversalted or tasteless. The raw fish was served in thick slabs rather than thin slices, the salad drenched in sauce, the shrimp scampi lacking seasoning. This isn’t the first time I’ve been to Sea Spice. The last time we enjoyed a tasty seafood meal, with a pretty view of the river. This time there were such big yachts moored next to the restaurant that it felt as though we were in an aluminum sided box. A waste of an evening out with friends.

This Perfectly located establishment with delectably crafted dishes is one of the biggest rip offs in Miami. My husband and I were looking forward to date night. But for a meal that ended up costing us $350 with one of us only eating a salad for our main dish, it is sadly not worth it. Hip as it may be, it’s awful when your waiter hands over the check and whispers “the house takes all the 18% automatically added so if you want your server to get any tip, you’ll need to add it on.” That’s chutzpah! My lovely husband kept that to himself and added another 18%on! I would not have, had I known at the time. The food was ok but the salads lackluster. $25 for 2 scoops of ice cream with some nuts and sauce topped off our meal. My suggestion: go next door to Garcia’s.

We were here for s family birthday. We sat outside along the river and had fun watching the luxury boats dock for dinner. We ordered the Red Snapper encrusted in sea salt. Wow! Double wow! Served the three of us ( could have served four or five) Had a cheese plate. ( yummy) , Beet salad with goat cheese (delicious ). The plant bowl was disappointing ting as was the Ashkal ( spelling sorry)

Great restaurant. Food is excelent Best risotto I have eaten. Nice place to sit at the end of the day. The owner, William, is soooo nice and kind. Highly recomended.

I cant believe theres actually bad reviews on here! This restaurant was amazing from the SECOND you walk in! Its located right on the water and is so so pretty inside. Please keep in mind, the later you go the more loungey it gets with a DJ and all, but sooo much fun! The food was OUTSTANDING, and this is coming from a native New Yorker. The crab bisque was truly the best one I have ever had. The service was fantastic, always catering to you and making it so much fun with sparklers and whipping napkins! Mediterranean feel and food. I would make it a point to get a reservation here and have so much fun!

Good cuisine, nice place with sea view but a yacht attached to the restaurant covered the whole view of the diners. Cc

horrible service. Reservations don’t mean anything. Made reservations way in advance. Wanted to have a nice dinner enjoying the view of Miami on the water. Finally got seated an hour after our reservation time. (Pro tip: if you are paying for parking, make sure to pay for 4 hours, just to be on the safe side). By the time we got seated, we got a table next to a yacht. Apparently this is a boat dock that doubles as a restaurant which makes sense because it made a lot better boat dock than a “restaurant”. If you can call it that. No view, just a nice vista of a fiberglass hull. (See attached photo of our amazing view). countless times the wait staff literally said “excuse me” then proceeded to climb on and off the yacht which required us to scoot our chairs up so they could get on board. Service? Well it seems like the staff here got their customer service training at the department of motor vehicles. It would have been more efficient if there was a “now serving” sign and patrons were given a number. At least then one could anticipate roughly how long it would be until we were served. However, the owner of the expensive yacht we were sat next to got great service and their every whim was attended to as their waiter frequently leaned over our table and shouted back and forth the particulars of the order, confirming every detail very loudly so as to be heard over the thumping disco beat that assailed the rest of the non yacht-owning patrons. This place appeals to a certain demographic, mainly people who want to go somewhere where they can have the opportunity to pay more for something they could have gotten a lot cheaper at a diner or truck stop. If you want to get dressed up and be seen at fancy dressed façade but don’t care about such trivial things like quality food or service, and don’t mind waiting a long time for it, this place is definitely for you! Unless you own an expensive yacht, then you can skip the line and be served promptly. For future reference I’d highly recommend the yacht optio

Recently we dined at Seaspice for my best friend’s engagement dinner. Our experience at Seaspice was terrible! It pains me to say that about another business being a business owner myself but this experience warrants this review. My friend paid a whopping $2104 as a deposit for food and then at the end of the dinner was billed another $1112. We had 12 people. $3200 for 12 people for the most subpar food we’ve ever experienced. We were told we would have a semi private room. There was no privacy about it. The place was packed and LOUD. It took well over an hour and a half to get our appetizers which first of all were served family style but with only 3 pieces per plate. The prawns were inedible. The octopus was dry and chewy. I didn’t even see the salad (maybe that was on the other side of the table or maybe it was devoured the second it hit the table). After waiting over an hour and then receiving that you can imagine we were ready for our main courses… well, that took another hour to come out and were also subpar. Very cheap cut of steak. It was very fatty and chewy. The seabass was dry and too fishy. The lobster which was our third option on our limited menu wasn’t even available! They brought the family style sides of asparagus and mushrooms out 30 minutes AFTER the mains were served and again the portions were small. 12 people sharing a plate with 3 asparagus on it, like what?!? We were there for 3.5 hours and left hungry. Thank goodness for the amazing company or it would have really been miserable.

A fantastic location on the Miami river. Eat outside. Excellent service. If you like beef it is number one cooked on hot volcanic stones so order it rRe and cook it to your own perfection. No complaints except younust book early for outside. They do open the blinds for inside but not the same.

I decided to try this Restaurant and take advantage of the Miami Spice special menu. I was very disappointed with the service. I arrived there around 11:45 AM for an early lunch, and from the moment I got there they appeared to be very disorganized. The hostess said I needed to wait until noon to be seated. I asked if I could sit at the bar and wait, but they said the bar was not open. I don't know if it's because I was all by myself and requested the Miami Spice Lunch Menu, but I had a feeling that I was dismissed as not a worthy client. The service was slow. When the main entree arrived, it was cold and the waiter had to take it back to the kitchen to reheated. I had ordered a glass of wine, and they brought it over when I was done with the main dish. They have a battalion of staff circulating around, but they are all poorly coordinated in service. The food was good, but not worth the price. Another disappointing overrated expensive restaurant in Miami...

I had an outstanding experience today with an amazing view delicious food and exceptional service from JUAN R. He was all what service should be and made my Seaspice time a true delight!!!!! Thank you Seaspice and JuAn R.!!!!🌟👏👏🌟🌟🌟

Amex sent me an email with their collection of top restaurants in the world and this one was in. I was curious and immediately invited friends and made reservation with enough time to be sure a "top rated restaurant" will be able to accommodate me. I arrived a bit earlier and was asked to wait in the bar.... after about half an hour and passed my reservation time, I asked why I was still waiting. A nice lady made all efforts to find me a table and escorted us to a nice table by the river... sadly the cushion was really wet and we could not accept the table. We then asked to get an inside table and the lady took us to a nice table outside, under roof this time... just as we settle down a young man asked us to vacate the table because it was already taken by a reservation of six people... finally settle inside. That should had told me this was not going to be a pleasant experience... but we accepted the table and got menus. Appetizers seem various and described interesting enough to get you to order. We asked for the king crab croquettes and octopus. The croquettes lacked any taste but floury and the octopus was nicely cooked and soft. Friends ordered fillet mignon and both of us whole fish of the day. All dishes were a real disaster! The quality of the meat was questionable, and the fish came swimming on a tasteless greenish sauce that was not complementing the flavor of the fish at all! Not to mention the overcooked texture of the fish and the very seldom vegetables around it! Sad choice! We asked for the check and to my surprise, it had automatically tagged an 18% tip, for a less than average service. The decor and atmosphere is really nice! I think I would had used half of the space for a lounge with some nice life music and it would had been much better but come on people! This is Miami and in summer we get rain! At least take the cushions indoor to avoid having the soaking wet when the reservations arrive! I would not recommend this place at all and will say Amex, shame on you for placing La Mar next to this place!

We decided to go here on a Sunday for brunch to have them tell us they "only" take reservations. I would like to know where on their website it says that. Long wait for tables, can never seat outside, anyways this place is so bad, I don’t know why it has four stars, terrible terrible terrible service, our waitress Diane was NOWHERE to be found and forgot to celebrate my father’s birthday. Diane must have gotten this job based on her looks because when it comes to her brain ... I’m not trying to be mean, I just feel like it is frustrating when you spend over a thousand dollars on a 2 hrs “meal” a receive a joke service? Of course a 20% service charge is included into your check and Diane expected extra 10% for herself. WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO SEASPICE EVER AGAIN.

Wonderful romantic dinner, delicious food, great service, amazing view of downtown. Nothing short of fabulous ! A must when in Miami...

Terrible attendance!!! Experience ZERO rating, the restaurant location is beautiful but you feel like cattle in the slaughter line, from the reception, the waiters, the manager, everyone is focused on serving as quickly as possible in the shortest time possible, to clear the table for the next class! The manager came to ask when we said what was going on, he was arrogant and impolite!! Bad experience I don't recommend

Such great ambiance. We came on a Saturday night (make reservations!) and we were sat immediately. Everyone from the security to the hostess stand were extremely friendly and welcoming. Be cognizant there seems to be a dress code though you may see others a bit casual. We had one main server but I’m assuming the servers backup one another because there was another waiter who helped as well. Ultimately we never went without anything we needed. The steak (peppercorn) was the very best I’ve had in years! My Caesar salad was super fresh and the coffee was delicious—didn’t even need creamer. I will be returning.

Nice outdoor ambiance with a good DJ and great views of the yachts passing by. Service was done very professionally and in a kind manner by Dilenny. We had the Dover sole, it was well prepared and presented. We had a great evening at Seaspice!

Went on a Sunday. Nice party scene vibe on a river. Lots of upscale people with money to burn for sure. Everything is completely, totally and utterly overpriced. Service is just okay. Nothing to brag about. Had a reservation, called to mention I’d be late due to local traffic, especially just outside restaurant and they gave me 15 minutes after I was forced to put a $50 credit hold per person. Once I finally showed up I STILL had to wait another hour for my table. We were 2 table and either side of the restaurant had ample two top tables empty, clean and set. Not sure why we had to wait. Ridiculous if you asked me and part of the reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars. Food was good. Octopus a la plancha was NOT what I was expecting. Weird texture, weird look, bland. Just not appealing or something to brag about. The waygu dumplings were delicious. We got a few appetizers to share. We also ordered coffee for my friend, we had to remind them not once, not twice but SEVERAL times. We got it at the end of dinner when we wanted it before dinner and told the waiter we wanted it before dinner. Because of the party scene, it seems the dining area NOT in the midst of party scene STILL seemed to be crowded by randoms just standing around. Made for an uncomfortable meal. I don’t like to eat with people hanging over my head.

The lunch was for a work team celebration. The restaurant is fancy best for special events. The service is very good, from the beginning to the end. The waiter is very well prepared and our choice was from a preset menu. The starters was the best of the menu, surprising! The menu itself, not to much.

We tried several dishes but my favorites were the octopus and the sole. The rest were very good. The yellow tail cocktail had an interesting but great mix of jalapeño, basil, passion fruit and avión tequila. I highly recommend Seaspice!

We had dinner at SeaSpice this past Sunday. Wow what a fun vibe! We had the most amazing waiter - Esteban. He was one of the best waiters I’ve ever had. He had the best personality and we loved our dinner and everything he suggested. He was very thoughtful and accommodating to my Gluten Allergy. The Dj was playing awesome music in the restaurant. It was packed and busy and we had a great experience. We will definitely return to this restaurant next time we are in Miami!

The setting is beautiful - reserve for a sunset dining experience. The food is very good and the service attentive.

had a late lunch. The atmosphere is really cool. nice decor. on the river with the river views. summer vacation feeling/ The food was excellent. my sea-bass was tender and my husband's steak fillet minion was amazingly tender and full of flavor. they serve the dishes on a hot metal plate to keep it warm. The steak come on a hot stone plate so you can keep warming it or cook a little more for your exact taste. Our server Estaban was very nice and friendly yet very professional. It was expensive but worse every dollar as the experience was a delight.

This restaurant was hugely disappointing tonight we came from london to try and the overall presentation of the menu was dire ! Expensive and waited 1.5 hours for a salad ! Best come for drinks and avoid wasting money on the menu ! The server was sweet not her fault the chef couldn’t even get a ceasar salad out without the long wait . Would have been better presented and faster had we purchased from a supermarket and put on a plate ourselves no flair no presentation see photos ! ! The indoor dining was second best to the outdoor Alfredo dining. This place is the worst we’ve visited from london ! The manager removed the poor food charge but still charged for the starter and wine plus service . Needs a good manager to make sure reviews aren’t negative ! Avoid as better restaurants when in Miami

Seaspice is a great spot in Miami…you’ll be dining sitting on the river enjoying the view and the food. Service is always great, the team from the front desk to the servers are all very attentive and nice. Great food, always tasty and in the right amount . It gets crowded and a bit louder during weekends…but well…this is Miami. Service is included in the bill but obviously you can tip over if you like . The tastiness and the view doesn’t come for free Valet service available

We’ve spent Christmas at this restaurant which was highly recommended by a close friend. On the positive side, the view by the water and the outdoor areas around the bar are magnificent. We’ve ordered two 12 ounce steaks which were good but not out of this world and neither was the overall service (clearly struggling with the fact that the place was packed). What really disappointed us, was the billing. Not only did we get the wrong bill first (different table), but the restaurant charged us 300$ (!!!) for two steaks which frankly were nothing special. The steaks were listed as MP (market price and we missed asking about it) but 300$ (when the Japanese Wagyu Beef what a lot less) is not just justified, no matter what. So our recommendation would be go there for the drinks but eat somewhere else, where the food is truly, prices are fairer and the service is better.

We regretted coming here. The food was OK but nothing special; price is steep. If you want to get deaf it's a great place to spend some time. We could not hear ourselves speak. Better to go to the other fish restaurants nearby. Overrated. Seeing the yachts go by is somewhat nice to see. Somewhat interesting to people watch but be warned. Some people like this type of restaurant. We don't. But it was an experience.

Food was subpar and we had to wait a full 45 minutes for it. Speakers were entirely too loud and the drinks were basic. And to top it all off, it was not worth the price. Save your money, eardrums, and tastebuds and try elsewhere.

Went there with friends and family last January. The setting is amazing; great service; sensational food. Highly recommended!

Service is ok Need to have reservation Menu is ok Price $$$$$ Nice place Was better in the past .. Accept credit card

Everything that was brought to our table was so delicious and amazingly presented. Servers were friendly. Location and view were so beautiful, we were enjoying the large yachts passing UNTIL one huge docked by the restaurant blocking the whole view from the whole us and other guests sitting in our section. It was really disturbing that you are there to enjoy the scene and something that huge comes to block it. Hope Management to look into that for the sake of us paying that much to enjoy every single minute there.

Although everybody tells the best day for this place is sunday, we went there on wednesday for dinner. Seaspice is the reataurant for everyday! The seafood platter was amazing. We had many dishes to share and liked everything. I highly recommend this place.

Made a reservation for 8:45pm weeks in advance, at 9:45pm still wating. A girl at the front refused to acknowledge any females and only answered to men. Probably the oddest experience I have envountered outside of communist countries. A very low class cheap experience that is hyped. When we did get our table, we were not offered anything for our inconve. Do not come here.

Been here before. Food is good worth price and quality. Although service is as bad as it gets. Specially the management. I’m working in the industry and feel frustrated that such a nice place gets such a bad management. I am 34. Manager was rude and said the only way to get drinks was with a passport. I am over 30. And truly don’t look under 21 at all. The “manager” told us to leave even though they were not. Busy on a Friday night . Better places to go. Don’t waste your time and go right to Kiki. No wonder they have more clients and better evironment.

I loved this place! It was a last minute plan and we didn’t have reservations, so we sat at the bar to eat. Luckily a table opened up by the water and it was perfect! Servers were great! Food was excellent! Best octopus I’ve ever eaten. A photographer came by and took photos of us and they came out amazing! The quality is so good! I will definitely come back here when I revisit Miami.

Participated in Miami Spice 2025. It was an awesome experience. Fabrizio was an engaging and attractive server. The potato appetizer was incredibly delicious. The short-rib Benedict was amazing and the ice cream was clearly freshly made and out of this world! Watching all the boats coming in and going out was incredibly entertaining!

Eat a delicious meal while watching the passing ships right in front of you. Very nice evening with caring servers.

‘Food was not good and after we told the waiter they made a big deal . Then told me they could not take my card because it had no chip in it. After an hour of embarrassing us in front of other customers they decided that they could charge the card! On top of all of this they asked to take a picture of me to make sure the card was not fraudulent. I’ve never seen this and have been to several restaurants. Definitely will never go back!

Stayed an hour for the Sunday night party. Beautiful crowd with gorgeous, smiling staff handing out sparklers for all to join the party with a DJ playing Shouse's anthem "Love Tonight."

Derek was amazing! He was so attentive and so knowledgeable. I would recommend him and Seaspice to everyone. He was very professional.

I made an online reservation and Aliyah was really nice when she called back to register my credit card and dinner preferences. We were a party of four, arrived on time, and were received by a welcoming staff that promptly seated us outside. Unique waterfront restaurant with high end seafood menu. Our starters and entrees were mostly seafood dishes, perfectly cooked. All of our orders, including desserts were delicious . A perfect setting with views of the Miami River, good food, and a great atmosphere. A unique experience!

A superbly located restaurant with fantastic views. The reception was extremely friendly and attentive to our questions and wishes. Also the service was very professional and always well prepared for our concerns. The food was excellently prepared and of the highest quality

Even though you might have to wait a bit to be seated, this place is one of my favorites in Miami! The food is incredibly fresh, and the staff is fantastic super friendly and attentive. The overall atmosphere adds to the experience; it’s just a great vibe! I love spending time here and enjoying delicious meals with great people around. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to!

Met friends here for drinks at the bar for happy hour on a Friday. The bartender at the time was super friendly and charismatic. Drinks were spot on, the ambiance was perfect and would definitely return if it’s like pre-Covid today.

Lovely place with great music and attentive service. It’s not cheap but we had an above average dinner with good wine and we sat outdoor so we could enjoy the stunning view of the river. Would definitely go back as soon as I return to Miami.

Pretty darned bad! Wine? White and warm Fish? Dry Burger? Over-cooked Service? Slow and unimpressed Manager? Full of excuses (example: “the state of Florida doesn’t allow us to serve raw meat”) They did reduce the check when we complained but we didn’t come here for a deal- we came for a nice meal.

Food was overall very good. Emphasis: food was GOOD. But so much else was BAD. First, we were told we had a table with a "fabulous" view. Yes, we had the view of all yachts disembarking guests and with exhaust outlets spewing gaseous fumes. Second, we reserved table for three but it was barely acceptable for two. Third, the guests don't wear masks. We were seated exactly at water's edge and everyone was taking pics/selfies. All were maskless crowding around our table without any concern about us being right there. Fourth, our waiter was (fake nice) at first congenial but later rude. We asked for certain drinks that were not on the menu, the waiter could not specify origin or exact vineyard; and the resulting price on the bill for those drinks was surprisingly expensive (not listed anywhere; i.e., not documented or confirmable anywhere). When the waiter was asked about the price, the response was akin to "this is an expensive place and things cost a lot." In the end the manager made some accommodations to the bill, which was OK. But the overall experience was not as expected for an establishment of this reputation. Sorry. But I do to go to places that cost a lot and I know that Miami is a fun place for fun people, and I expect the staff to be knowledgeable and professional.

Although you may experience some waiting time to be seated, it is one of my favorites places in Miami. The food is really fresh, the staff is great and the overall mood is super friendly! Love being there and having a great time with great people

Derrick was AMAZING!!! He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and menu. My friends and I absolutely loved this place and Derrick.

Fantastic waterfront location, fantastic ambiance and atmosphere and delicious food. Great service too. Expensive but well worth it. Boats passing constantly on the inlet and mooring up. We had a wonderful evening.

Our annual yacht party is always topped off with an exceptional experience here. We have a large group (13) and they always get everything right, and perfect (a difficult ask). We have met the owner on one occasion and he is a fantastic person , his staff is exceptional and it is obvious they all care about the place they work. Weather you have a large group or a small party you will be amazed at the food, service and atmosphere.

After many recommendations of the food, me and my friend went to Seaspice. As soon as we got there, we were asked if we had reservations, which we didn’t, and the hostess said we would be able to sit only at the bar. We asked if later we could go to a table, which se rudely responded no (at the time half of the tables were free) Then we asked if we could wait for a table, in case of a no show. She said that would never happen because they never have no shows. Since we were there, we decided to stay, but I called the manager to let him know of how rude the hostess had been. He automatically apologized, and said he would check if there was a table for us, which we politely declined because we had already ordered at the bar, which he responded by saying “you wouldn’t tell me about the hostess if you didn’t want something”. We didn’t and felt extremely offended. Even though, we decided we still were going to stay, because we wouldn’t ruin our lunch because of the service. He later got us a table (the one that would never have a no show) and was extremely polite, and apologized for the service. And we gladly accepted, but I still decide to write this review because even though the manager did find great efforts to make things right, and the food was amazing, we would not go back because of the hostess. Oh, and the people who would never no show, didnt show up and until we left, the tables remained empty.

This is not a "fine dining restaurant" as it says in their website, its a lounge with high volume music, very bad service and ok food. We arrived on time and were charged USD 20 for valet parking, we were told we had to wait between 1-2 HOURS for our table...and it was 5,15 pm. So I told them that if I didn't show I was charged 50USD per person but if they don't give me a table in a reasonable time according to my booking, there was no compensation? told to go to the bar and wait there : I said NO. Its full of people without face masks, 0 social distance and we don't drink alcohol. In 5 minutes we were seated in the dining room and what a surprise : half was empty. We were seated and told we could only stay in the table for 2 hours. They play this trick so you spend money in drinks. Not a good start. We placed our order and the pizzas arrived but not the other 2 plates...10 minutes after that we asked about the 2 plates and were told things come from different kitchens and its difficult to organise timing. A fine dining restaurante ? we told we went there to have lunch the 4 of us TOGETHER...and the waiter said "whatever", turned around and left. At that point we only wanted to leave. Between the music being so loud it was imposible to talk, and this attitude... Finished eating and 20 minutes and nobody came to pick up our plates, offer desserts, coffee, another drink or anything. We were ghosted by this rude waiter. Had to look for one of the ladies in the entrance who gave us a menu (which was also an issue because they give 1 for 4 people)... Its funny how places like this use COVID as a convenient excuse. They can't give you more that 1 menu for a table of 4 because they are "limited due to COVID" but have not problem whatsoever to have 50 people in a very reduced bar area, no social distance, no face masks. They might say its open air but not really. This covid situation kept us a bit nervous...to much parte too little responsibility. Everything was not nice. Not 1 single nice memory...food is ok but not for the price, or the bad service, loud music and 100% exposure to Covid. If you want to party and drink without thinking about certain risks this is ok, but for us no. BAD service, 0 security Covid wise, average food, high prices, extremely loud music is not the combination of a nice place to eat for us. Never more.

It felt like a special place when we pulled up and more so after walking in. Was seated at a table near the water with a great view. The staff was on their game. The food was off the charts. Cheers We will be back

Arrived for brunch with a reservation for 2:45pm last Saturday. The girls at the reception were busy on their phones and doing nothing... (yes the one with the dark frizzy hair and a oriental girl that seemed lost). No one else arrived before and during our time there. We told to wait by the bar as out table by the water edge was getting ready. We could see the table was empty when we arrived. Moving forward 30 minutes later... I went back to ask what was happening to the table. The response... Oh yeah! She asked someone to get the table ready for us and to wait again by the bar for 5 minutes. By the time we were seated and attended 1 hour later; Brunch was over as they closed at 3:30pm We ended up (2 people) ordering from the regular menu the more affordable items + 2 drinks and the bill was $180+ Terrible service Overpriced food Ridiculously overpriced drinks + 18% tax + 20% service fee already included in the bill Felt completely robbed and had a terrible experience... Shameful for a so called "fine dinning". I am a local and there are many great choices in Miami. Stay away!

So overrated. I think the only reason people are still going is because u can dock ur boat easily. Food is super average , and outside it’s just so hot and overwhelming extra fans wouldn’t be bad

We went to have dinner to Seaspice with my family and reserved a table outside to enjoy the view. Overall everything we have tried was excellent. Try the wagyu steal, lobster risotto and octopus !!

This off the beaten path restaurant has an unusual location. It sits right on the dock side of the Miami river. You can easily miss the small entrance. Parking is valet across the street,$20. Once inside you are in a different world. It has a warm indoor outdoor design. Lots of tables look into the river. At night it is quite charming. Views of the large luxury motor yachts and Miami backdrop add to the experience. The only distraction maybe the smell of diesel from some of the yachts as they leave the mooring. The food options were numerous. We had the Pata Negra Crochettes and the Wagyu dumplings for starters. Very nice. The wonderful cheese and garlic homemade pita bread was delicious. The Seabass was light a flavorful, a little salt would have made it even more tasty. The roasted carrots were great. The pasta dishes are fresh and authentic in their ingredient and taste. The Vongole was spicy and really good. The paperdelle short ribs was great. This is not a cheap night out but if you want to spurge or just have a different night out it worth a visit.

Tiny portions but delicious! I will definitely be back again but with a reservation next time. They fill up very quickly for brunch if you don't have a reservation.

2 stars from this experience falls squarely on management. Our reservation was honored 38 minutes after we arrived on time, awkward & tiring to wait at a standing room only bar - defeats the entire point of having a reservation. Then we were seated simultaneously with 3 other tables, all in the same section, all with the same waiter who was clearly instantly in the weeds by this disorganized arrangement. It was aggravating to not be able to order immediately after having waited so long to be seated, as the waiter had to great each table and take each tables drink order. However, more aggravating to see management put our waiter in this position to being with. Sends a clear message that the quantity of turn over is the priority in this place, not the quality of experience. Spice brunch menu was a big bust for us both overall. I did like the flavor of the gazpacho, a surprising hearty taste while feeling light on the palate. We both enjoyed what we thought were the malanga fritters, until we discovered we were mis-served another’s order of the regular menu’s King Crab Croquettes - which were amazing. When the malanga fritters came, they were over fried, burnt, and dry. Big let down after the King Crab. Then another order of the King Crab was attempted to be served to us, but this time the man sitting next to us intervened and had the order properly directed to his table. Lobster benedict was good for the egg preparation, the quality of lobster, but the hash brown bedding was also over done, over greasy, and ruined the overall taste combination. The burger was over cooked, fully brown on an order for a medium burger, the bun was stale and flaking apart. I had the chocolate cremoso and found it way too rich to be served at brunch. My partner enjoyed his tres leches enough that he didn’t want to share! The people watching was nice, people were lively and dressed lovey - but when we come out to eat its to experience high quality food - this we were not provided. This is our 2nd bad experience here, first was when it was operating under a former name Seasalt and Pepper several years ago. Shame because the vibe and venue is so posh and needed in Miami, that maybe whats keeping it going despite the iffy food and bad service.

Super fun place. We had an amazing time. Great music. Exciting place! This is for someone who loves the nightlife!

It was a very upscale restaurant by the water. It had a great view of Miami and we were able to see beautiful yachts in the surrounding area. The white wine was sweet and chilled to perfection. The crab cakes were perfect and the salad fresh. All in all the service was wonderful. A great place to take the family for fine dining. I did not get to experience the other side. But the atmosphere was definitely eye catching with the DJ playing great music in the background. Definitely looking forward to going there again.

Biggest disappointment of our trip. Reservation for 9:45, seated at 10:15, ordered at 10:30, food arrived 11:25. We had other plans for the night, cancelled because of the delay here. Was going to give 2 stars because of the good food, but then we were asked for additional tip on top of a 20% service fee, amazing. To be clear, it wasn't our waiter's fault, he followed up on our food multiple times.

expensive, nice restaurant. food was above average, not that tasty surprisingly. outside is nice, but a bit humid.

As usual this place offers an excellent location on the river. The food was very good, with a caveat: the sea food casserole (not cheap at MP) was not that tasty. Overall, prices are expensive but worth it. Dessert's excellent. A good wine card but with a top margin over most other restaurants (some wines at 200% of prices). Recommend some New Zealand Sauvignon, quite outstanding. Service is very friendly but you might wait a bit… Remains a favorite in Miami.

Went for brunch. Loved the atmosphere!! Sat outside by the water. The lobster Benedict was awesome!! The staff was very attentive and because we waited a little longer for our food they brought us a complimentary dessert! Tres leches! Which ended up being the highlight of the meal!

Good atmosphere and Ok service. Please be AWARE they will automatically charge a 20% service fee, No Matter how many people are in your party (solo) and also tax you from that 20% service fee. Service Charge should not be mandatory if less than 6-person party, everyone should have the right to tip based on services.

I made a dinner reservation for two saturday night. It had started to rain when we arrived. There was a line out the door and crowds of people were both rushing out and waiting to get in. I over heard that they had let in too many people for a private event and there was a power outage. I tried to talk to 3 different employees who were outside to figure out what was going on and if we could at least wait inside. One got distracted and essentially ignored me. The other took a shot of something while I was talking and then went off to talk to someone else and the third who seemed to be a manager finally told me I could go inside. Upon trying to go inside a bouncer stopped us and we were stuck waiting outside in the rain again. Finally after waiting in the rain and being pushed around by crowds of people for 45 minutes we left. Apparently they host private events like that regularly. Never going back there.

I ate at the bar and was surprised when they brought the bill with double tips and numerous drinks that were not ordered by me. Bill for lunch was over one thousand dollars for two people. I would avoid this place.

So good. King crab app is amazing. Service is top notch. Burger was super. View is perfect. Definitely give this place a try.

We ordered a bottle of Soave Calvarino from Pieropan that was on the list. The bar person brought us a bottle of the 2018 Soave Classico Pieropan. They are both stunning wines, but the Calvarino was on the list for $80, which is great value. I pointed out to the bar person that the Soave Classico is the least expensive of the Pieropan wines. Calvarino is more expensive, while La Rocca is more expensive still. The bar person came back and said the GM would give us a discount on $80. We were relaxed and agreed to take the wine. When we went to pay the bill, to move to our table, the manger undermined the excellent staff and said he had been told by the GM that the wine we had was worth $110. Either he doesn't know what is happening at his restaurant or he lied. La Rocca would sell at $110, while Calvarino is sold at $80. The Soave Classico is cheaper still. I didn't make a scene and paid. We ordered another wine (Pinot Blanc Weinbach) which was out of stock. We then had a bottle of Chablis St. Martin from Laroche. They had sold out when we ordered our second bottle. It is a pity that a restaurant in such a brilliant location is so poorly managed. The staff are great but they are trying to compensate for poor management. A pity.

Horrible service. Charged us for multiple items that were not served. Food took over 1hr to prep. Food did not come out at the same time. Poorly cooked meals. I called the manager 3 times and did NOT show up. Embarrassing.

We took a boat and docked at the restaurant at night. The food was good and service was excellent. Dine outdoors if you can.

It's a great location It's a great restaurant And the food I feel is excellent Has an amazing sea bass with sides that were so tasty Also the starter of beets I loved The only problem was that I was greeted with a 45 mins delay to be seated when I arrived but I asked for a manager and all was sorted My waiter was excellent I would come again for sure !

I loved Seaspice! Amazing restaurant in front of the river! We booked for dinner, but we arrived a little earlier to see the sunset!!! Excellent food! Beautiful and lively place!

I went with my family for dinner to celebrate my mothers birthday. From the food to the service, it was a perfect evening. Our server, Esteban, went far out of his way to make our evening special and made excellent food suggestions, he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu! I highly recommend the Wagyu Dumplings, Filet Mignon, Dover Sole and the Veal Milanese was one of the best I've ever eaten. 10/10 would recommend and can't wait to go back!

The manager was pompous and unprofessional when we addressed an over charge on the bill . We ordered ONE bottle of water and we were charged for two at $11 a bottle . We never saw the bottle it was not left in our sight and we were not asked if we wanted another ! If you order a drink donthry just keep bringing more and charging without asking ?? No . When I approached the manager and explained the above is response was to ask me if I wanted him to give me my glass of water to take home and that I was talking about $11! Isn’t that “ my “ $11 … not his ? I told him that the result would be that we would never come back ( we spent $571 with the tip) for food that was “ok” nothing special. He said it was my choice ! The place was empty and he is deciding for owners that that can afford to lose customers by being condescending , rude and unprofessional . I would pick any other restaurant along the river but would not spend my hard earned money where managment does not give a hoot about the customers !Our server was great , but the manager over shadowed with negativity

Have had the pleasure to eat and enjoy Sea Spice on a Sunday (very popular!) and on a weekday. Both times exceptional! Great fun and great food. The filet on the volcanic stone is absolutely great. Wonderful risotto with lobster and classic mashed potatoes...both terrific. Our service with Sebastia was friendly, and professional. Great space both inside and out. Very underrated as far as the cuisine is concerned. An absolute must when visiting Miami! Cheers!

We had a reservation for two and upon our arrival there was a mess of people outside the establishment while it was raining. We had no idea what was going on, but the staff from Sea Spice was kicking people out and they were not letting anyone in. We spent 45 minutes sitting out in the rain trying to figure out what was happening. We had to speak to THREE people that were completely useless. The first person just ignored us, the second rudely ask to see our reservation email and proceeded to take a shot and walk away. Then finally we talked to apparently the manager and she said we could walk in and then a bouncer stopped us... mind you we were still standing in the rain when we had reservations. We found out that Sea Spice was hosting a private event and that they had let in too many people in, and there was a power outage(apparently these private events happen often). Their response to this issue was to neglect customers outside in the rain. We felt like we were at some sort of messy frat party not an "upscale" lounge that Sea Spice claims to be. I suggest they get a new management team and staff and learn what good customer service is. We left and never made it to our reservation. I personally, will never step foot into that establishment.

After we had dinner, we stopped by Seaspice to enjoy their fabulous bar by the Miami River with a view of the Miami skyline. It was one of those beautiful sunset evenings that we wanted to enjoy the ambiance at this very popular Miami Hotspot. I love all of the elegant nautical decor they have. It makes me want to sign up for a cruise. There are many photo ops for those who love to take pictures. Do dress up as they do have a dress code. I would say that the crowd age is over 30. Everyone seemed to have a good time. They have good music to add to the vibe. We only stopped by for drinks but next time we will have dinner there. Our server was friendly and attentive. A truly beautiful Miami restaurant. Parking is by valet or street parking if you can find it.

We just left this beautiful restaurant where servers are friendly and accommodating. The food was very good but the best is seeing Willy (The Ambassador) who greeted and scored us to the table of our choice.

A disappointment. I had been with a younger family member on a quiet night and liked it. This time it was extremely busy noisy and our reservations might as well not existed. After 35 minutes we were asked to sit outside. Which was fine until it started to rain and there was no room inside. We left and won’t return. Disrespecting customers is not a oath to success.

I would recommend Seaspice to anyone, as a matter of fact the restaurant was chosen based on its tripadvisor reviews. Upon calling i got to find out Michelle Obama had dined their among many other celebrities. To be honest from the reservation processed commenced with Caroline McDonald i knew the event would be first class it was handled in the most professional manner. Now let us talk about the service , excellence extraordinaire was demonstrated from our arrival. Manager Sebastian was so hands out , the chefs, the waiters, Caroline to everyone at Seaspice who made our experience memorable we say Thank You. Next time i am in Miami i will be sure to visit. I had the snapper fish delicious and i tried a piece of the steak mouth watering. P.S. They are on the water so if you can afford to arrive by Yatch please do it will create a WOW experience.❤❤.

Derek was amazing. He told us all different dishes that were great to share and try that were incredibly delicious. He made the experience worth while

Nice location horrible service. Asked for colder beer answer was “our freezer had a lot os stuff inside”. Waiter needs anger management course. Dirty silverware but food was very good. Just bad service. Harbour master was VERY NICE!!!

Worst experience ever !!!! Lobster not fresh, with amônia. Manager was very unhelpful. That looks like a place only for show up and service and food are completely forgotten! Extremely disappointed! Had to return the plate and the manager couldn’t care less!!! Many better options in Miami for you to spend your time and money !

Everything form the bar service, to the amazing food "the best" octopus your pallets will ever savor, to the incredibly staff you will be amazed! a bit on the pricy side but totally worth it.

I am not one to leave a bad review as I’m aware how hard the restaurant business has suffered because of the pandemic but this place really got under my skin. My boyfriend and I visited Seaspice restaurant on 4th January 2022 around 3pm (prior to this we did call to see if it was ok to pop by for lunch as we were concern if the kitchen would be close but was told by a lady to come by). We walked up to the reception and there were 3 female staff chatting behind the desk (already not a good sign). We asked if we could grab a table for a quick lunch and were told that we could ONLY SIT AT THE BAR as we didn’t have a reservation. (The first thought running through my head was why didn’t the lady on the phone offered to make us a reservation in the first place when we called before getting an Uber here). Anyway, after feeling a bit confused we said okay, thinking the restaurant would be full of customers and to our surprise when we walked to the main area (outdoors) there were only 2 other tables dinning. I can’t stress enough that there must have been at least 15 tables free. Feeling a little weird and discriminated already, we walked back to the reception area and asked politely the same female staff (the shortest female for management to review CCTV footage) “can we get a table by the water for a quick lunch, it’s completely empty outside?” We were then told again in a SNOOTY attitude “you can only dine at the table if you have a reservation”. I was getting more upset at this point and persisted again, politely, to understand why she didn’t want to seat us and was told by the same staff “ the restaurant looks empty now but it could get really busy”, again in a snooty voice. What really annoyed me is that this member of staff didn’t even once checked/pull up the restaurant reservations to see if they are fully booked or anything. We then said to the staff “okay then we will head next door and have lunch there” which we did. At no point did any staff showed an once of empathy towards us which was really disappointing and not what you expect at the restaurant of this magnitude. Lastly to add, we did check from the restaurant next door to you if you did indeed get busy after we’ve finished our dinner and you weren’t. There was so many things Seaspice restaurant could have offered and do better towards their customers here i.e told us we could have a table for 1-2hrs or offered to make a reservation for the next day etc etc. If you want to dine here please ensure you book a reservation in advance.

A group of friends and I decided to try this place for “Miami Spice” month. Food was really fresh and delicious. It is on the Miami River and the ambiance is very inviting. I really enjoyed that there was no loud music, several people arrived in the boats. Service was excellent. We moved to the bar after brunch and enjoyed the Florida heat.

This review is a bit late. We had a large party for my daughter's college graduation lunch on a Friday afternoon. The table was outside and the day was beautiful. Service was wonderful - from champagne to cocktails, lunch and ending with a special dessert. Yes it is pricy- but it is Miami! The staff was attentive and the food was great as usual. A wonderful memory for our graduate, family and friends.

Great vibe, delicious food and exceptional service! Did not rate a five only because we ordered cocktails before dinner and they were considerably watered down, and disappointing this upscale and very expensive restaurant had most of the bathrooms closed off and out of order. 😕

Great food. Great service, especially Derrick stood out with his knowledge and kindness !!! Thanks for everything! We will definetly come back!!

We made the reservation on Open Table where was the option to have a table outside and we requested it. But as you suspect when we came to check-in we were seated indoors. False advertising! After this, we were given 2 hours window to complete our lunch. And from there on everything was as bad as it gets. We placed orders for drinks- did not get for over an hour! When we inquired few times we were told they are on the way- nope. Finally, they came out one at a time. Obviously, at this point, we asked for a manager. Who promised to fix everything. No apology at this time. The second waiter came and told us that the drink order wasn’t placed correctly. Food still did not come despite the order. Again, we inquired and were told appetizers ( pizza) will come in 6 minutes, yes that’s what they told us:). Ten minutes later COLD pizza came out!! No apology at all. Seems it’s normal for this place. In between dishes, no one changes plates, so we collected dirty dishes ourselves. Food still not out. Finally, 2 hours later we got our food, well, not all of us, some had to wait 15 additional minutes for an avocado toast. Yes, ridiculous. We asked for the manager again but were told that he is busy. Despite multiple requests to see him- he never showed up. As you can suspect tip was included in our bill. In summary, horrible service, disrespectful staff, and managers. Not worth your money and time. P.S. Cappuccino was cold!

A very nice and sweet place. Went there with my girlfriend, liked it very much. You sit and eat delicious food, while contemplating the breathtaking view. What can be better!? The service was also at the highest level.

What was supposed to be an extraordinary birthday celebration for my friend, ended really bad…Service was awful: the server showed up and wanted us to order everything, even without having ordered drinks. We ordered drinks and they were watery, so aI asked it to be replaced and the waiter was not happy about it. The waiter was either very busy or wanted to look busy…except when she came backdovwe could pay our bills. I ordered an appetizer and it was extremely difficult to have the server come back to our table, to the point that we didn't order anything else, so we are going somewhere else for dinner…We are definitely not coming back.

First time visit to Seaspice on the Miami River. Esteban our table server was wonderful, funny and very helpful. Wife and I ordered a concoction labeled "sangria" that was anything but. My sangria named "Sparkling" missed out on the sparkle and lacked effervescence. Apps were grilled octopus (incredible taste and not rubbery), watercress salad and malanga root fritters. Both very tasty. Main course was a sliced sausage (not fully cooked) on polenta with a poached egg. Folks, I did not order medium-rare steak, so why didn't they fully cook the sausage. The best order was the Waygu burger with fries. The burger was the best deal. The shock was the toast with an avocado spread and four small shrimps. My brother-in-law was apoplectic and well-behaved after seeing what he had ordered. Then again shrimps are supposed to be small or do we use jumbo shrimp as the oxymoron. Dessert was tasty in the form of a tres leche dessert and an artistically looking fudge mousse with a scoop (teaspoon) of ice cream. It was just a smidgen larger than a silver dollar and probably more expensive than the days closing silver price. As a Miamian, let the truth be known that there are so many small "mom-n-pop" bakeries in our county producing higher quality tres leche and mousse without the high price, gouge or whatever you wish to determine its adjective. Although they were flavourful, the price over-represented the quality. PRO - 1) We were lucky this was a $23 Miami Spice lunch. The food was highly overpriced for food that was nothing spectacular on the Miami River. It was truly not impressive. 2) Bachelor hot-spot. The women were spicy and "caliente", and every where. This candy was free. CON - If you eat outside by the river, hope a mega yacht doesn't park beside your table. Nauseating diesel exhaust ruined the meal even more after 2 yachts moored beside us. CONCLUSION - Visit Seaspice if its your first time. Once at Seaspice go on a Miami Spice priced meal then decide if you will visit again. I was grown here not flown here so Seaspice may be a place for the tourist bucks, but not for a local who has so much more to pick from in Miami's vast "come and go" "overnight sensation" "fly by night" small boutique restaurant scene. So whats with Kiki International?

I went for Valentine's Day and I expected it to be more crowded since I could only get a dining time at 5:15 on Open Table. Anyway, definitely expensive, but knew that going in. My husband ordered the whole fish, yellowtail, he felt it was ok but extremely overpriced. We ordered sashimi and it had amazing flavor. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and it was amazing. My husband preferred my meal over his by far. Overall it was a great experience.

The atmosphere was exceptional. We sat outside by the water next to the mega yachts. I ordered the lamb and it was delicious

Great place to have late lunch or dinner, very good service and nice food and decor. Very good for couples.

Delicious food, very pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. I chose this place to propose to my girlfriend on our most recent visit to Miami. From the first moment I had the support of chef Ángel and manager Karina to prepare every detail of the surprise. At the place we were received with great kindness and the food was spectacular. We are very grateful for making us feel at home. We will be back!

This spot is fabulous! We came by sea & had an amazing time. Our waiter, Derek was fantastic! Attached is a photo of the yellowtail. Delicious food, exceptional service & yummy drinks!

Derrick was a great host / waiter. He was so knowledgeable with every item on the menu. Really gave some great recommendations!! Loved him so much.

Great vibe Great location Good food but portions are smaller than I expected And table service was slow and poor Had wait 45 mins for main course Love the setting though

The taxi driver searched for some time to find this place; our dining experience later was worth the effort. If you manage to get a table close to the water, you can choose over dinner which multi-million-dollar yacht will be your next... cruising the Miami River, you may (just about) touch the vessels while enjoying good Florida cuisine and friendly service. No question: You pay extra for the hype!

Incredible Sunday night atmosphere, amazing vibe with bouncing music and stylish clientele. For a sleepy Sunday night the place was buzzing. The location is great aside the Miami river, super cruisers and yachts passing by just add to the aesthetic and vibe. With a huge menu to go at the Food was excellent and service was attentive. Would highly recommend…

I like Seaspice but don't love it. The restaurant is quite nice and the view is good - at least when boats pass by. Service was a little lackluster though. To start we tried a pear and cheese pizza that was okay (there is a reason why pear pizza is not that popular) and also a decent tart. The fish was good, I think it was Dover Sole and the pasta was okay. Last time we went we had a good tuna on top of guacamole and while I might have had better the Seaspice version was beautiful to look at. The best aspect of Seaspice is how nice everything is plated with each dish looking nicer than the last. Seaspice is a good restaurant to take people to - not the best food but certainly not the worst.

Been there with 2 friends. They made us accomodate to a very sad table inside far from everyone with a column in front, under the AC and the restaurant was quite empty. We asked to be moved and they gave us an amazing table outside with stunning view. Wondering why you try to give your worst as first option when the restaurant is empty. Anyways the service was very good despite this first mistake. We had oysters which were good but not the best I had in Miami. Then a ceviche which was very good and a dover sole which was again very good. I gave 4 stars as I believe the place is still slightly overpriced but you can def eat well. Party vibes after dinner with dj but we ended up in a dead night

It’s mostly family style so you should bring a group and order a lot for people. Good drinks, good wine, and we recommend the hot stones steak (you can sear at the table), the spicy rigatoni, the grilled mussels, and the beautifully prepared and presented fried snapper.

first time in this restaurant by the river in Miami. The restaurant tried to sell itself as a brassiere, having waiters and a manger with french accent, but menu and food is at best mediocre. Service is very bad, waiter and manager go only after large parties and people who burn money. This is a perfect reflection of what a restaurant should not be, mediocre food and bad attitude and service. Avoid !!! There are plenty of other options in Miami

We arrived early for our reservation and were told to grab a drink at the bar until our table was ready, my fiancé missed the text by 2 minutes and then we were told "you should have been paying attention to your phone so now you'll have to wait longer"! So then he says "ok we'll just stand right over here and wait" and she then says"I don't care where you stand, your still going to wait"! We should have just left but we had friends with us. We get sat and from the beginning the service was very slow and he forgot several drinks and made excuses for the delay and I asked for no truffles on my Seabass as I am allergic but when all of the food came out sure enough mine had the truffles on top so I waited for my meal while everyone else ate dinner because I didn't want theirs to get cold. At the end we were reminded of the two hour dining maximum and that we needed to give up the table. Just very disappointing and we spend a lot of time in Miami on our yacht and for the price this just wasn't worth it at all.

I don’t know what restaurant called Seaspice has racked up some bad reviews, but it sure isn’t the Seaspice I visited. The service was great, and the food was even better. If you want a more relaxed experience, go there earlier in the evening. If you’re up for a more nightclub-like experience, go later. Whatever you do, don’t listen to the people who apparently have nothing better to do than write long, whiny reviews that find fault in everything. This place is fantastic!

4 pretty ladies at the desk. Rude and unwelcoming. Arrogant. Arguing about a reservation changed by the concierge at mandarin. Is helping? Are we lying Then the rubbish. About waiting for the rest of the party when at 630 the restaurant is empty. Understood they want us to buy a drink at the bR but rude except Irene who warmly showed us to ok ur excellent table eventually. Prices And drinkable wine $100 plus 18% plus. Fillet mignon 68 so you might expect sirloin and prime rib to be similar although market price. Wrong!! $150 and they y don't tell you unless you ask. Bitten that waybefore. Thanks to Christopher our waiter but otherwise an unpleasant experience and poor value for money. The greeting ladies should be fired and replaced with human beings. Never again

From the minute we walked in here for date might we were immersed in the Miami vibe. Chill soft techno mix at a volume that still allows for conversation without shouting. Beautiful people in a beautiful setting on the Miami River with speedboats and yachts everywhere. Our table was literally perched on the edge of a dock and I could have reached out and touched a megayacht docked right there. We had the grilled octopus appetizer, a layered sushi tower creation, and braised beef ribs over pasta, all were excellent. It is pricey, but what you would expect on the high-end Miami scale. Note: all bills already have an 18% gratuity tacked on. I didn't notice and our waiter pointed it out as he noticed I was going to tip him, which is appreciated. Very instagrammable place, my date really enjoyed the atmosphere. If you want to experience urban chic Miami without it being too noisy or clubby, this place hits the balance perfectly.

If the place have restrictions for kids it should be in the web site in some form and shape period !!! Made a reservation party of 4 (one is a child 8years old), they don’t let you sit out side w minor! THAT SHOULD BE A INFORMATION TO ALL CUSTOMERS! Not family restaurant period !!!!

The restaurant has a great vibe, the music the view all really good. There is some construction on the water on the other side, but all in all it was a very nice place to spend time on the water, in the sun. The menu is wonderful, many options and really great to see some of the really interesting options, the Burata looked beautiful, I had the foie gras, appetizer and it was really delicious. It was clear when the food came through that the Kitchen has their act together. The unfortunate part was the food service. Slow to get cocktails, it looked like they were understaffed, and I say that after noticing that they were literally conducting interviews by the bar with at least 2 candidates. The bartender was often missing behind the bar and the servers were left to look after drinks. Our server, was not very friendly, not very attentive which I'll give him a pass on since the service side wasn't a very well oiled machine. Having said all of that, I'd go there again, because the food was just so good. When / if the service side can get more capacity and flow, there is every likelihood that they'll be in business for a long time ...just not there yet. Steve Banyai

Great ambience, food was delicious but for the prices you have to have service be top notch. Evening ended on a down note given how long it took to her entrees (1.5 hours). Need to do better for return trip.

Can’t deny the place has a great Miami vibe and nice ambiance, however Seaspice did not live up to expectations. Don’t get me wrong the service was good , however to start the cocktails were disappointing - very watered down, the food was good and the wine menu above average . However , shocked that this upscale and very expensive restaurant had most of the bathrooms closed off and out of order. 😕 This very important detail left me wondering how everything else is maintained.

The location is truly exceptional and overlooks the river which offers a beautiful view that increases well-being as much as possible. The fish is fresh and excellently cooked, but the service, although focused on the customer's attention, is something that left me a little disappointed and for this reason I removed a rating. High bill, but justified by location, cuisine and food.

The atmosphere is wonderful, beautiful view on Miami River and downtown Miami. Its trendy, great courtyard lounge, garden bar and a covered patio. The service is excellent, they have a good menu, we enjoyed our wine and seafood.
Almost Great, But Not Quite
The food was excellent. The service was good. The outdoor terrace was a wonderful experience until one third of the way through our meal they allowed an approximately 75 foot power boat to moor up against the terrace. The place suddenly went from a very enjoyable experience to a less than average one. You went from a beautiful view of a canal with downtown Miami in the background to facing a large fiberglass wall, and the boat wasn’t even a nice one. When a place does not deliver its full potential because of bad management decisions, I get frustrated which only makes it worse. In truth, Seasopice probably deserves four stars, five if they were more attentive to their customers’ experience. It has a happening atmosphere, and again the food was truly excellent. But it is run with an attitude that the restaurant is more important than the patrons, and they make you feel it from the moment you park your car at the ridiculously overpriced valet.
