Just arrived in Playa del Rey, ordered their Veggie burrito for takeout. Flavorful and tasty. Takeout only in the covid era.

Excellent fish tacos. My cod was cooked perfectly with a good salsa some nice cabbage everything fresh and healthy. My friend has the Nepali tacos which were very good too. They have a big menu for breakfast and lunch. It all looks delicious.

By far the best food I had while in LA. It was also the least expensive too! It’s a great little spot I would go back 110%

We appreciate that they bill themselves as "healthy", which we prefer and it means that they are veg-friendly, which they are. The veggie taco and the cactus taco were great, as was the melon agua fresca, and the guy running the p[lace was very nice, friendly, patient, and accommodating, all of which I appreciate.

We loved eating at this restaurant in spite of its limited seating. The service was great, the food excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. This is a great little restaurant if you want a quick, healthy meal. thanks Mr. G!

Short wait at takeout window. Very healthy and fresh Mexican. Breakfast and lunch. All takeout, no sit down but very fast.

Fish tacos (choice of fish), shriimp tacos, choices of beans and sauces. A massive menu for such a small place but there was a constant stream of locals getting take-out while we were devouring our exceptional lunch at a tiny table. Just north of the airport on the coast. Stop here on your way home!

I tried out the carnitas burrito and it was huge! Great flavor and hot sauce had a kick. They give out complimentary chips and salsa. Only improvement would be to have beer on the menu! First time here, but I could see they get a lot of foot traffic. Very popular place, but the food comes out quickly.

Once again Señor G's delivers a great meal at an affordable price. I had the carnitas enchilada in salsa roja with rice and beans. She had the carnitas soft taco plate cooked in tomatillos with rice and beans. Muy sabroso! (Deliciosa!) Get two enchiladas or tacos only if you're really hungry!

Located in the beach community of Playa Del Rey - just 12 minutes drive from LAX, this place is cute, bright and clean. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was as good as any I've had for it's type. Price was not bad for the location. A perfect place to grab breakfast, a bite of lunch or an early light dinner before jumping on a flight (or between flights), and it's by the beach!

As someone who lives the year in a food desert with nary a single truly decent Mexican restaurant, I can say with full confidence that this place is incredible. The food was simple, flavorful, and you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. From the nachos to the taco burrito, my man and I cleaned our plates completely. If you're in the area, be sure to eat at this fantastic spot.

I went for breakfast with my sister. This is a small restaurant that does a busy takeout business. We did not wait long for a table. The wait-staff is friendly. I had the Chilquile Plate (corn chips sautéed with chilaquile sauce, cheese, onions, cilantro and sour cream on top with rice, beans, and eggs). My sister had a Denver omlette. The portions were good and the food tasty. The only downside was the machine at the juice bar was very noisy. It was hard to have a conversation.

My wife and I stopped into Señor G's for a late lunch on a weekend in town, and really enjoyed our food. The place isn't fancy and the furniture and decor basic, but the food is great! I started with a great PB smoothy that was delicious, and we each had our favorite Mexican dishes: enchiladas for her, and a couple of street tacos for me. The food was superb! Made with fresh ingredients, it looked amazing on the plate and tasted even better. My carnitas tacos were just about the best I've ever had, the rice and beans perfect. Don't let the plain storefront keep you away, this is really an awesome place with excellent food.

U always have lunch here before flying out from LAX now. The food is great (by the standards of a Brit!). I had a 'healthy' burrito and massive 32oz juice. Both were good but I would man up and get something less healthy (and tastier) next time. Both were very filling, however!

Had lunch here 3 days in a row while staying up the street, each meal was so delicious! Tacos, burritos, even breakfast options! Yum!

This is a little place that packs a very big punch...the food is several notches above what you get almost everywhere else in this type of place: fresh, crisp, nuanced flavors, nothing smothered under piles of gunky melted cheese, imaginative sauces (ghost chili!), fresh, tasty smoothies and fruit juices, soft-serve ice-cream. The menu is extensive enough to entice you to keep coming back again and again. Service is quick, friendly and efficient. Kitchen more than willing and able to accommodate special dietary needs. Well worth a visit to Playa del Rey (which is where this is actually located).

Fresh Mexican food, fun waiters. The menu is really nice for such a small place.Evidently very popular with the locals. My husband noted " possibly some of the best lunchee we had on this trip".

We stopped off before flying out of LAX and really enjoyed the authentic, inexpensive food. Well worth stopping by!

I've eaten here 2 times now and can say that their salsa is the best of any restaurant in or around Los Angeles. The service is very fast and the food is solid. They also have a genuine juice bar that serves excellent juices and smoothies.

Senor G's is a cute, little beach restaurant just off of the Pacific in Playa del Rey. It has seating indoors and out and a small counter where you can watch the food prepared. The fare is primarily Mexican and it true to the expectations. It is not fancy, more beachy in atmosphere but the food is very good and the prices are, too. Adjoining the restaurant is G's Juice which does frozen yogurt and fruit drinks in a similar setting.

Great fresh mexican. They have fresh squeezed juice and smoothies at very reasonable prices. The burritos are nice and big, great chips, fresh cool salsa, and if you're feeling bold, ask for the ghost pepper sauce the make in house. Use a tiny bit first to gauge its heat, it's not for the faint of heart! Staff is always super cool, place gets packed around lunch hours.

Mexican food here is always a solid choice and the staff is super friendly. On the other side of the counter is the juice bar. I always grab a green machine with OJ and ginger then I'm starting to feel a little run down...better than an Emergen-C!

Service and employees were great and so kind. Food was amazing the Carne asada burrito was so good. Shrimp tacos and taquitos were reportedly good by my family members who were eating them. The only thing that I have to say was a small inconvenience is the parking lot. There aren't many spaces and if it's difficult to find street parking, that's Cali for you I guess!

We rented bikes to ride along the beaches and wanted a fast place for lunch. Senor G was the perfect place. Food was great, service quick and prices were good. Be careful with the green hot sauce, it is potent. Add just a little to the salsa to spice it up but beware of to much. Smoothies were excellent as were the burritoes.

Apparent scam Warning! I have never been so blatantly scammed by a restaurant before! It’s costing me money ! I have an allergy to onions, so I did the ordering online while I was on the phone with the boy who said he was a manager . I went through the order for a $16 tostada and he assured me he would guide it against onions . When the order went through, they charged me $37.27! I was still on the phone with the manager and canceled it immediately. I thought things were a little fishy because he said he couldn’t process the refund and I had to call PayPal and DoorDash to get my money back, but he assured me. Repeatedly! Numerous times that the order was indeed canceled, and I could get my refund from DoorDash or PayPal. I ended up having to file FRAUD charges against them because a little while later, the delivery guy shows up with something very similar to what I was ordering and had canceled! I’ve never heard of a restaurant not being able to issue a refund on a canceled order that hadn’t even gone to the kitchen yet , it did raise suspicions, but they turned out to be correct. I don’t know if the guy had just been fired and was doing his last. Let’s screw a customer, but they are not to be trust. This has eaten up a few hours of my time and I still don’t know how the bill went from $16. 28 $37.25 charge. Basically their headache ! How do you trust them to make healthy food when they’re ripping you off?

I had lunch here (enchiladas of some sort) -- good salsa, fast service, nice patio environment. Prices are fantastic -- really good deal for some great food.

We stopped here for a late lunch after walking around down by the harbor. It's a really small restaurant, but they had space for the four of us at a table on the sidewalk. Somewhat cramped and bustling, but fun to watch the goings-on and listen to the chatter of the folks at neighboring tables. This restaurant makes innovative smoothies as well as serving Mexican food, and appealed to the vegetarians in our group. They brought out a spicy sauce with caution - it's very hot! I loved it!

A very convenient location right off the bike trail. We all ordered burritos and they were excellent. For spending a short time in LA, this restaurant was a perfect way to get a taste of the city. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely come back again.

This restaurant has some of the best tasting simple Mexican dishes that you can experience. Every time we visit this area we get at least one meal here. We usually get the meals as take out and bring it back to the Inn and eat on our patio.

Simply décor with parking lot. 15 minute drive from LAX hotels. Went here after walking Venice beach. Between Venice beach and airport. I had chicken burrito my wife had grilled veggie burrito. Fairly big and tasty. Take soda's out for your room from here.... much cheaper than hotel.

Nice spot to have a breakfast/brunch with fresh fruits, homeletes, pancake and granola yogurt! Close to the beach and to the park, full of people in morning!

This was my first visit; a friend and I stopped for breakfast after our morning walk. I tried cactus for the first time and it was very yummy. Great Mexican food that you can tell is made fresh when you order. No microwaves in this place!

This small local favorite is known for its consistent high quality fresh food and fruit drinks. The line is often out the door for breakfast. Parking can be a challenge, but it is worth it. If in the area, don’t miss this place.

I landed on Señor G’s after an internet search for Mexican food and selected based on website. The website did not lie - the food was fresh! It did not leave me with the stuffed greasy feeling that Mexican food often does! I enjoyed the Breakfast Olé. If you dine in, chips and salsa are served with your order. The chips were fresh but the salsa was more reminiscent of a Pico de Gallo than salsa that I am accustomed to. They have a nice variety of options for American and Mexican style breakfasts. The interior is nothing fancy, but it is clean and the service is efficient. I enjoyed a sidewalk table but was fortunate because within about 10 minutes there was no seating outside. If you go in a large group, call ahead!

Had lunch from Senor G's during a quick business trip in LA. The Carlito's Way Burrito was excellent...Carne asada, grilled onions, cheese, guacamole, rice, and beans in a light and fluffy tortilla. The meat was cooked very well and the burrito was large and flavorful. The spicy yellow sauce they serve was delicious. Will have to remember to order extra next time! Only con is at $11.25 for a burrito it isn't cheap..but what in LA is..

You can order a glass of fresh squeezed fruit (& vegetable) juices while chowing down on an awesome crunchy Grilled Fish Tostada Salad. Sit outside and car-watch while people speed down Culver Blvd towards the beach. Service here is awesome, the servers and bus boys are all very attentive.

I have visited this little place once a year for 30 years and it never dissapoints Not flashy but clean, efficient, friendly and super good value But the food! Just so authentic and just delicious. Don’t expect to wash it down with a wine or beer as it’s not licensed but the fruit juice bar adjoining will sure to make up. Hats off to the great team here. No wonder you are always so busy!
Great food and smoothies.
Small little Mexican food place. Great menu with Breakfast burritos in the morning with home made fruit smoothies. Lots of options for lunch and dinner.
