Are here twice, good food and service. But nothing exceptional. The place is inside a Korean market, shady area. I don’t feel safe in the neighborhood personally.

The layout of this place to dine-in is a hot mess. The menu is by the cash registers or on the side wall by the cafe by the register. You will have to pay for your food and then give your paid receipt to the counter at the cafe once ordered and paid at the counter. I saw another guy looking perplexing for a menu by the cafe. Is it hard to post the menu in the cafe for reference at all. I get the owners want to keep the ordering and payment at type registers. The menu shows Kimbap, but it's made early in the morning and left in the cooler. What's in the cooler is what's available and nothing can be made fresh, including the Kimbap or the japchae. The Japchae should not be cold. Got two krab stick and one bulgogi Kimbap, spicy noodle, tteokbokki and banchan sides. $35.19 The banchans only comes with their soups, stews and meat dishes. The spicy noodle comes with a side of kimchi. The Tteokbokki came out in a big cold soup bowl container, that’s not usual. The sauce was good, good heat, but the rice cakes were beyond overcooked and mushy. I asked the staff to remake it and make the rice cakes less mushy. Second round is still too soft and still mushy for my preference. I think it might do them some good to pan fry the rice cakes first before drowning it in the sauce. You know your rice cake is mushy when you grab it in the middle and it bends in two or even worse breaks into two halves. The sauce is decent and is spicy. No hard boiled egg with their tteokbokki. The cold noodles seem to be overcooked as well, slightly mushy. The best part of the cold noodles is the sliced cucumber and the thin sliced radishes. The rest I could do without. Disappointing meal. Skip it and buy ingredients and make it yourself or go elsewhere. Banchans: hard cold japchae, bland soft tofu, old and bad tasting kimchi and so-so zucchini. Let’s just say I am glad I didn’t buy the japchae at all. The banchans are worth it if they are free. The krab Kimbap is okay, nothing special. This place doesn’t care about customer satisfaction or customer service from what I can tell at all.

Two halves, a market and a cafe restaurant. Being Korean myself but having lived in the US since I was seven, I KNOW a good Korean place and this is great! The market ha sa very good selection of most of what you might want. But the best part is the cafe. Order at the market register since the three women that do all the cooking don't speak English (i.e. you're going to get real Koreran cooking). Prices won't be beat anywhere in the city (I can personally vouch for this). Portions are generous, but quality and taste, 5 stars easily.

Never disappoints! Food fresh, hot, of good quality. Absolutely authentic and quite reasonable. Set up like a cafeteria but cooking is done on one side of counter, eating is done on the other. Menu is in grocery store above entrance to cafe, ordered and paid for at cash register before entering food section and picking up order. Unlimited Korean sides can be self-served. Hot tea as well is all you want. Entire setup is simple and delicious. Personal favorite is Pork Neck Bone Stew! Once tried the eater is likely to return for more again and again! The rest of the offerings are great too. The novice should ask other eaters what they like and try it! A pleasant surprise is guaranteed by this critic!

We live out of town and we found this little market after googling for a Korean Market It has a little cafe attached to it🥰🥰 ..that serves Great tasting beef bulgogi ❤️(and probably other foods in their menu) .But don’t come on a Sunday😩because even when the market is open, the cafe is closed when we went …so we plan to comeback on a weekday 😇😇like maybe today 😍😍

Wow...my friend took me there and it was awesome. I have had Korean food before but not in a cafe set up. The menu is extensive. They have bbq, noodles, light snacks, rice dishes, sea food, grilled meats, hot pots, appetizers etc. You order from the menu at the cashier’s. The large single serving food is freshly prepared. They have so many dishes! They called your number and you pick up your food from the kitchen counter. I don’t know why they called it a Cafe, maybe it means cafeteria. That place is full house but they have a big kitchen and we waited less than 10 minutes. The staff are friendly, English speaking, and since there is no server you don’t have to leave a tip. Purified water is free or you can purchase bottled water. There is also a Korean supermarket inside if you feel like making your own Korean food. Their green tea is cheaper than the ones I bought from Amazon. I will definitely go back there again. This is my favorite go to spot for ethnic food. To me Korean food tasted better than Chinese food, it is so flavorful, non greasy and healthier.
Mmmmmmm
My Korean best friend shops at this market which also has a Korean cafe inside. You ask for a menu at the cashier which includes pictures because otherwise someone like me might not know what's what. I ordered the "Bibim Bap" which is meat, veggies, rice and an egg served in a hot bowl. You can add hot sauce and mix it all up.... delish. I'm hungry thinking about it right now. My friend had a spicy beef and potatoes soup - her's was so good too. She is born and raised in Korea and is a great cook. If she likes this cafe, then you know, It Has To Be Good.
