New York style pizza in Dallas

By David T |

Serious Pizza is hidden in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas. An area that is currently being cleaned up by the city. It's an artsy/BoHo/hipster area. Serious Pizza is a hidden gem. You better arrive hungry or bring an army. The pizza sizes are 18", 24" and 30". They also sell my the slice. The dough is hand tossed. The pizza chef tosses the dough the size of a bed sheet with ease. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. The staff was very friendly. Each slice you must fold to eat. My new favorite place to eat when I visit Dallas.

Serious Pizza indeed

By StorminNorman50 |

Really good pizza by the slice. Largest slice I've ever seen. Great tasting pizza, fresh and generous toppings. Deep Ellum atmosphere, friendly staff

A nice dive with serious pizza

By thed3 |

Try to envision a 32" pizza being twirled into the air several times. Then placed on a table where an untold number of toppings. Then cooked in a huge oven for an appropriate number of minutes. Then sliced and served. Best part is you can buy a slice to order. It is great. I highly recommend it and will return when can.

Awesome

By Johnathan G |

Small little pizza joint with huge pizza. Very friendly staff , greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff treated us as we were regulars even though we had only been there two or three times before. The pizza is fresh made right there in front of you, and most importantly very reasonable prices.

Great for Teens

By Pattty F |

Had a group of 8 teenage girls celebrating a 15th birthday. The GIANT pizza was perfect and they loved it! We will definantly be going back soon.

Now this really is SERIOUS PIZZA!!

By Moncy V |

We had our first experience eating a Serious Pizza and we were not disappointed. It was the biggest pizza we had ever seen. We ordered a large but it was far bigger than we expected. I think their medium pizza is bigger than any other Pizza place. The special thing about Serious Pizza is that all the dough is hand tossed event the Extra large pizza. Definitely a site to see.

Pizza 5 - Restaurant 0

By TibL |

Very good pizza's, affordable prices The cashier was nice, but the others were rude, and we were forgotten (people who ordered after us already had their pizzas when we had nothing), but we had larger pizzas whitout asking. The restaurant was dirty, and the toilets horrible... So, go for the pizza's, amazing size and great taste, but that's all, don't expect more!

Yum!!!

By Kelly R |

Serious pizza is really good. Great atmosphere in deep ellum. Can get pretty busy at regular lunch time on the weekend. Be prepared to wait in line to order for 15 minutes. Good prices. Single slice is about $4. The slices are huge. They are thin crust and not a lot of sauce but that is how I like pizza. Good place for families or a younger crowd.

The music ruins the atmosphere.

By This C |

It would be nice if they would stop playing that horrible pop and rap music. I mean, really? Your patrons are adults. Grow up, and have better judgement.

Chill Spot

By Okie |

This was a perfect spot for us to grab a bit to eat and a cold beer before heading next door for a concert. The staff was friendly and having a good time working. You can order pizza by the slice and it was yummy. They have counter seating.

Largest Pizza you will find in Dallas

By Nated2519 |

This place sales the largest pizza I have ever scene. Good prices for what you get. By the slice or the pizza. Worth a stop.

MASSIVE pizza

By Matt H |

The pizza was massive & really tasty. 3 of us shared a 24 inch (medium?!?!) pizza & couldn't finish (took the left overs back to our hotel). The shop is in a great are & is well worth checking out if you are in the area.

Good value, mean service

By AdrockDallas |

Pizza is about the best value in downtown Dallas, portions are large, lines can be very long to order. Staff has never seemed to like customers, it's as if they're doing you a favor to serve you ( like Paris). Plenty of seating and flat screens. Pizza is okay but need more sauce. Go for big Pizza on a budget, don't go expecting good or friendly service.

Biggest pie I've ever seen

By davids7715 |

The XL fed 7 of us for lunch. It was huge. Crust and sauce were very good. If I wanted to be picky, I'd say they could have added some more toppings. The amount was about the minimum I'd expect, but it was still good.

Great pizza and cool spot

By JennRamirez |

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. Got there around noon and it really wasn't crowded at all, but started to fill up by the time we left. The pizza was GREAT! And pretty reasonably priced. I had the bbq chicken alive, my daughter had a slice of cheese pizza, and my husband had the one with all of the meats on it. Really all were very good! The Caesar salad was.... Ok. It was very fresh, but the dressing was too thick for my liking. The building is really neat too. Very funky and eclectic. Only negative would be the soda machine. There was only 1, and it was the kind that you have a ton of selections out of one machine. But really only like 6-7 out of the 40+ were available. And most were sprite or Fanta.

A seriously mixed experience

By Anatole |

While in Deep Ellum, a friend and I decided to eat here. Upon entering, it was a modern and colorful establishment. When placing my order, the staff was friendly, but the cashier marked my dine-in order as to go but did make it right when she brought it to the table. I also asked, "Is the pizza good?" and if so, for any recommendations as I was new to the place, and she replied, "I don't know if it's good here" she did tell me it was her first day, though, so understandable. I realized for my 2 slices and beverage that the pricing was a bit steep, though when my slices arrived, I noticed they were huge. Making the pricing make more sense. The pizza itself was just ok, nothing too remarkable. I feel I've had better elsewhere, but by no means awful. Definitely not something I would go out of my way for, though. One complaint I had about the dining area was that they were blasting music very loudly, so loud you couldn't even have a conversation with someone next to you. I get its Deep Ellum, but just turning it down 10% would be more than enough to fix this. For the area, this wasn't bad, but in the end, I was left wondering if I could've gotten better value elsewhere/

Awful

By Tabatha Swanson |

It was the slowest service I have ever seen. I have been all over the world and this was close to the worse service I have ever seen! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Disgusting!!

By Savanna T |

Their food was appalling! Took forever to get a simple order. It was burnt & tasted like the worse kind of frozen pizza! They also treat their guests ABHORRENTLY! You are better off eating literally anywhere else!

Insanely good pizza

By Katy |

This is proper American pizza. My husband and I had a huge slice each and made it to order after having cocktails across the road. The shop itself is a little tired but I think that is the idea. We sat at the bar and watched the enormous pizzas being made.

This is some serious pizza!!

By Lisa E |

The pizza here is huge, there is always a wait and apparently its worth the wait!!! I personally took my pizza to go because all the seats were full, my pizza was great. I will be back.

XL pizza

By Matthew K |

Best bang for the buck. Amazing pizza and incredible edible slices. This a must try if your in the area!

Love the pizza and service

By Shenita H |

I've visited several times and like the pizza and atmosphere. We always sit at the bar and watch them toss the pizza.

Good to go

By Vincentlap |

Good American style pizza, but I recommend it to go, the room is really old and would need a serious refreshing ! Prices are very good.

Serious Size

By Kelsey R |

looking to share? Serious Pizza is seriously big, and great for groups of friends! Hot and great taste for how big the pizza is!

Serious Pizza for East Coasters

By TexasGal97 |

We stumbled upon Serious Pizza when driving through Deep Ellum on a cold and blustery evening. Nice staff who made us feel welcome. Our original order was peppereroni and mushroom, and an ingredient was forgotten as a topper. The help more than made up for the error by asking us what else we would like on it. Yes - we would like some sausage on it too. Delicious pie. Super big for two people (smaller sizes are not available). This pizza pie made a decent breakfast for the day after a winter storm. Good stuff.

Ginornrmous Pizza!

By derondah |

My friend took me to Serious Pizza for the 1st time & I was amazed @ the size of the pizzas! Pictures don't even come close to the actual size. We ordered the combination pizza to go because apparently Saturday night is very popular amongst pizza lovers. It took about an hour & a half for our pizza to get ready so we went across the street to another establishment to wait. I do think that Management should have more than one cashier working the counter & taking orders, ESPECIALLY on a Saturday night when the line is stretched to the door & the wait time is an hour plus! I felt bad for the cashier because between running back & forth checking orders that had already been placed she was also having to take new ones. That's a LOT for one person!

Seriously bad.

By Horit B. |

Grossly overrated. Stroll past it for the novelty value of seeing very large pizzas. Dont waste your money and time being a patron though. The pizza is a bit of a joke. It's flavorless, doughy, undercooked, underseasoned, and not worth the price. Nor is it worth the excruciating wait. Be prepared to wait 30 mins to get a custom slice. Most disappointing of all though are the absolutely shabby, rundown and unsanitary interiors. I think whoever owns this place thinks that those torn up sofas and grotty tables add to the charm of the place. False. It just serves as a reminder that Serious Pizza is the culinary equivalent of a messy teen's bedroom. It's an embarrassment and an affront to paying customers - of which there are many. There's no shortage of poor taste and standards, after all. Finally, the overall service style here is bizarrely curt, arrogant and delusional. It's a pizza place, not a night club. The cashiers and table plonkers (I cant bring myself to call them servers) act like you're blessed to be visiting the outlet. There are rules and signs for how to queue, what to do, what to say etc. I've made the mistake of visiting Serious Pizza a number of times simply because it's located very close to a live music venue I frequent. However, there are several other places you're better off going to. About the only thing serious about this outlet is their delusion of grandeur.

BEST PIZZA IN THE ENTIRE WORLD

By MHRWHITE |

My friend and I came here late one night after a night out. The service isn't the best (it's OK though) but the pizza is by far one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten anywhere. It's no wonder they call themselves Serious Pizza because it is quite simply one of the seriously best pizzas you will ever eat.

The worst experience

By Tania C |

Employees don’t understand the business. Restaurant opens until 3am but I think they should close doors by 2am. We walked in by 2:20am and stood in line until 2:50. They close at 3 o’clock. The lady who took my order didn’t even gave me a number or asked for my name, I had to ask how they were calling me. Pizza was vegan with 5 toppings and took 40 minutes to cook because employees were playing around and eating bites of whatever they had infront of them. We stood up at 3:15 am infront of the cooks. When pizza was ready we were opening the box when they sent the police officer to tell us to go away. Police officer was rude and we were not drunk at all. We wanted to have 1 piece at least. They kept on telling us we had to go because they close at 3 cursing. We were not the last ones in the line but we were given the pizza at the end. We were the last ones to leave because of their awful service. An black employee even told us they had our money already and we had to leave already. It wasn’t my first time in this place. I understand it takes longer for the pizza to cook but vegan no cheese? I also understand it is not a 5 star restaurant either but could have better employees to treat customers the right way after waiting in line for more than 20 min and hangry.

It was fine...

By orlandofoodlover18 |

The slices are huge and the prices are fair. But my pizza slice was very under cooked and was very doughy. And the Caesar salad dressing was strong on anchovies. Other good pizza areas in the city.

Put Serious Pizza on Your List

By explorer75157 |

Walked in the restaurant around 2pm on Black Friday. It was super busy and took a little while to get my pizza slice. While we waited, we watched the pizza guy stretch ball after ball of dough enormous flying discs. It was a long wait, but worth it. The pizza crust is thin, flaky and crisp on the bottom. The slice was loaded with cheese and ooey-gooey-great. My only complaint is that the closest location is 30 min drive away. The restaurant is laid back, trendy kind of place. It's also kind of small so if you go during a busy time, expect to get close. No gluten-free options here.

Awesom atmosphere

By Juan R |

Great pizza it was thin crispy and the pizza itself had great flavor. When i got there the first time i went it was supper busy i had a feeling that it was going to be good!

What a Pie!

By James V |

Everything is big in Texas but the pies here are humongous! They are actually very good beside being the biggest pizza pies in the world! Had to laugh at some guy struggling to fit one in the trunk of his small car.

Good crust little bland otherwise

By Marine03 |

Disclaimer I'm originally from Chicago so my opinion if pizza has high standards. Part of the fun at Serious is how big the pizzas are. I ordered over the phone and was told 25-30 minutes and when I arrived the pizza was ready and waiting at the 25 minute mark. The crust was not to thin or thick and had a nice crispness to it. I rate the crust a 8.5 out of 10. The sauce I felt was bland so 5 out of 10. Other things like toppings we're good and what you'd expect. I will probably order again as I haven't found somewhere better yet.

All About The Pizza

By sqivdad4life |

Do not make the trek to Serious Pizza if you are all about service, ambience or parking. None of those things are great. What is great is the pizza. Some of the very best I've tasted. With the size of the pies you would think they were doing a flavorless bit. Regardless of size the pizza is terrific. If you are a pizza connoisseur like me, this place is a must.

Great pizza. Service is mad at you.

By Knockknock1 |

The pizza was great and location great. The service was very new York style. Once u pay if you get your pizza they don't care. U have to be focused to eat here. The food was good and we'll priced, but focus or it will be thrown out before u can get it. Focus!!!

Cool vibe and atmosphere

By kingofthehill81 |

My family and I finally gave this place a try. I have had several friends and family suggest we try it our. Definitely a little sketchy upon entering. Not sure if it is clean or not, but hey it is open so the health inspector did not shut it down. There was a line to the door when we entered but it was moved through quickly and efficiently. The staff is not overly friendly, but kind of fits with the dark divey pizza place atmosphere. Felt like you could get almost anything you wanted on the pizza as well. We each ordered a slice of pizza the way we wanted it and some drinks. the pizzas came out quikly. It was fantastic and reminded me of a true New York Style Pizza. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for something fun and different in an awesome Neighborhood.

Fantastic Pizza

By Royg3110 |

Stopped in with some friends and had a fantastic pizza. Service was a little slow but they were very busy. Atmosphere is great and the pizza is amazing. Would have scored 5 stars had the restaurant not needed a makeover, broken tables etc need sorting out guys.

Pizza

By Heath182 |

This place is trendy . We sat on stools , which was fine. The bathrooms do look like prison cell , but it's art. This place is in Deep Ellum, which is a faster then light upcoming neighborhood. The pizza was very good . The art on walls is very impressive.

Delicious pizza

By Erin C |

We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! Ranch dipping sauce is 50 cents per small container. They have a new-aged soda dispense where you can pick your soda and additives like vanilla, cherry, etc. Place is clean and service is good!

Out of town guests

By Robert M |

We take a lot of our out of town guests here to prove to them everything is bigger in Texas. It is fun to watch them tossing pizza doughnand the kids love to watch. The whole vibe in the deep Ellum area is great during the day with nice weather. The pizza by the slice is a good value and pizza is about a 3.5 Stars. The service is what you would expect for that area and type of restaurant. Calzones are huge as is their large/enormous pizza. Cool place to go for something different in the deep Ellum area, but would not travel just for the pizza. Would give it 3.5 if I could.

The pizza is from heaven

By Andrew_Swiss |

Oh wow the Pizza. I've never had a Pizza like this before. There are two things which make this Pizza special. The Taste. It's the perfection of a taste! And the size! Everything is bigger in Texas? I don't know if that's true or not.. but this Pizza is enormous! Wow. I won't forget this Pizza. I didn't really understand the system they have in this restaurant. You have to line up and wait for your call. Then you can get yourself a seat in the restaurant. Dozens of people in front of me got a number... we didn't get a number. They just told us that they would call.. It was a bit complicated. They didn't call so I asked a server which brang us our Pizza a few minutes later. Plus: On this evening, you just were able to pay in cash. I wouldn't think twice about visiting this place again! One day I'll be there again!

Big pizza

By A47 |

The only thing serious about this pizza is the size. It is not very good and the only novelty about it is that you can get a giant pizza there. I would rather get 3 pizzas from somewhere else.

PIZZAAAAAAAAAA

By Grace L |

Grabbed a slice on the way to the concert. The atmosphere is fun and pizza is fantastic. They offer some pretty big pizzas

Seriously the best pizza I've had!

By Lene K |

While on vacation in Dallas our friends brought us here with pretty high expectations of not only huge pizzas, but GREAT pizzas as well. We were not disappointed. There was a line from the moment we walked and it just never ended. Even though the place was packed we got a table pretty fast, which is nice when the wait obviously is gonna be a while -45 minutes. But thats nothing when you get to watch the pizzamaking while waiting. We ordered the biggest one they had, the meatlover I think it was called, and it wad just enough for the four of us (one girl and three guys.) I'd say the biggest one is enough for 3-4 people. Either way, the pizza, O M G. Thin, perfect Italian pizza, amazing flavor. If youre in Dallas and you don't go here, you have obviously failed big time. Simply AMAZING.

Huge pizza

By Tennischick09 |

They have seriously large pizza. You can order by the slice or sizes come in medium, large or x-large. The x-large is definitely for a large group. Really good! They make the pizzas in the front where everyone can watch. It is a sight to see them toss the dough for an extra large pizza. They also have a pool table in the back.

HUGE pizza slices

By BrussoDallas |

What a deal! I had a small garden salad, slice of pizza (with 3 toppings) and a drink for $8.88. The slice of pizza is HUGE! You could easily split it with someone else & still leave full. However, I thought the pizza was just ok, the oregano in the sauce became a little overwhelming after eating more & more of the pizza.

The name says it all

By Krisfern81 |

Loved Loved Loved the pizza! Getting over the initial shock of the wait was the only bad part about this place They are busy for a reason, they have amazing pizza!! A pizza and a beer was what I craved and I was not disappointed

Giant slices!

By worleybird98 |

Wanted to check out the murals and art scene in Deep Ellum, so we decided to hit up Serious Pizza for lunch. You can buy pizza by the slice, and you can add whatever toppings you're interested in. Keep in mind that these pizzas are huge, so the slice was huge as well. I could only eat about half of one, because the slice itself was the size of a normal small pizza. The dining room has a lot of space, and lots of TVs to watch, and interesting art on the wall. It was a quick and delicious stop, and we enjoyed our meal. Would definitely come back again!

Great Pizza

By NWATravelers1000 |

Tasty pies and Great Service. This small trendy pizza shop is Outstanding! It is a busy area but numerous parking lots very close. The largest pie will blow your mind as you watch them toss the dough in front of you. Very large Wil feed many.....

Great pizza, eclectic dive

By Tim H |

Had to check out Deep Ellum as my brother in law lives near there. Very interesting area. Not typically my scene (no tats or piercings) but I was in the mood for a local pizza joint. Not disappointed one bit. A few observations. First, the inside decor is part bar, part skateboarder/snowboarder vibe, part hipster, part family joint. In other words something for everyone. Second, the pizza was SERIOUSLY HUGE and SERIOUSLY DELICIOUS.Very flavorful, very fresh. Will definitely be back.

Prepare Yourself

For some of the biggest, craziest pizza of your life. Huge slices, hip environment, fun flavors! Great beer selection! A Deep Ellum must visit!

Eclectic pizza joint - Delicious

By fsheats |

Ate here for the first time in August 2016. Pizza was delicious, salads were good and its really a no fuss place. The pizza is the star of the show! XL is huge and great for a large group.

Terrific pizza

By jimandsandra7 |

Ate a veggie slice and was full. Loaded with veggies and had a thin crisp crust. I'll definitely be back!

Love it!!!

By FabiJimenez |

I’m a pizza lover so when I found out there’s a pizza place with enormous pizzas I was thrilled! And I got even more excited when I found out this place have pesto!!! The pesto pizza is freaking awesome and I was trying to find a good one in Dallas for almost a year! I finally found it and it’s delicious, if you like pesto I highly recommend this place. I also tried some other toppings pizzas and they were great too, I truly loved this place. The environment is cool and relax, so you can have some beers and enjoy a cool conversation with great company and it’s also open until 2 am. It’s just awesome!

great pizza

By Belinda S |

this place has very good pizza, the place is a little small and gets pretty crowded during lunch times, but its worth the wait, and where ever you sit , you can watch them make the pizza and making the dough.

Friday Night Dinner. 4-29-2017

By Oscar G |

Wasn't too crowded, customer service lacks a lot. Guys were cursing behind the bar where they make pizzas. No one greeted us, not even a hello. At any point really. Young lady taking our order just looked at us wondering what we wanted. The person that dropped our plates off said nothing. The guy who dropped the pizza did say, "here's your pizza guys". Pizza was good. Could have really enjoyed it had there not been a lot of gnats flying in the dinning area. The homeless guy staring in through the front window watching us while having his hand up made it uncomfortable. I'm guessing nothing can be done about the homeless at your business's doorstep. Next time to go, if we come back.

Tasty and Enormous

By Darren D |

Our family of 7 ate lunch here. Although our 7 includes 2 teenage boys, two XL pizzas was too much for us to eat. We ate half of each pizza and brought an entire pizza home. That taste was very good - NY style.

Best Pizza in Dallas!

By Johnathan C |

Now this spot is totally different from any pizza place that I’ve had here in Dallas. My family and I have been eating here for years now. They’ve recently updated the seating so it looks much nicer than it did before. The food is still awesome and the staff is always friendly and clean. Anyone visiting Dallas should make a stop at this spot.

Seriously, this is good pizza!

By scottishbum |

A few years ago, my favorite pizza joint in Dallas closed (Al's Pizza at Marsh Ln and Northwest Hwy), and ever since then I have been searching for a comparable NY style pie. My search is over. Serious Pizza is the real deal. Everything from the crust to the sauce to the exquisitely fresh toppings deliver a quality pizza surpassing anything I've found in Dallas, my hometown. Now if you're looking for an artisanal pie, this is not your place; but if you are looking for a darn good, fresh, floppy pizza that proudly drips that all telling sign of a good pizza, the grease, that you can wash down with an ice cold beer or Coke, then this is certainly your place. Tips: This place serves HUGE pizzas either by the slice or whole pie. A medium pizza of theirs fed four hungry men with ease. Also, most everything is cooked to order and this place is pretty popular, so as long as you're not about to die of starvation allowing you to wait during peak times, this place will reward you mightily. Enjoy!

Giant pizza, worth the line

By Takelly2361 |

Good New York style pizza in deep ellum! Lines can be long, but worth it, the XL is giant, sold by the aloce or med - xl. Fun place, no wifi so you have to talk to someone!

"Seriously Delicious Pizza Crust"

By Linda G |

Enter Serious Pizza and soak in the Deep Ellum, funky vide while watching the largest pie dough ever being slung, flung, twisted and turned. While the crust was really great, the toppings lacked character. Ordered a slice of the BBQ chicken and onion. Serving size was enormous but toppings were just so-so. Redemption came with the fresh spinach and tomato salad - wow! Fresh, cold, delicious. My mouth was happy. Good, cheat eats. Give them a try.

Just a gimmick - pizza waste horrible

By imnopawn |

The line was horribly slow, the place smelled like raw sewage once you got into the restaurant after you ordered, and there were very few toppings on the pizza. It's just a big pizza with hardly any toppings - barely any sauce. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Seriously Amazing

By Haley H |

Some of the best pizza I've ever had. They are MASSIVE, but you can also buy by the slice (but it's so good that you won't want to stop after just one). Prices are pretty good for how much pizza you get, and it's in a great location with lots of fun bars around for a post-pizza drink. One of the best places in Dallas for sure.

Serious Pizza Not so........ Serious

By flores403 |

My husband and I saw this place driving by and we decided to check it out since it looked kind of cool and its in Deep Ellum lots of things are cool on that side of town. Well sorry people this place is not serious and not cool, the service sucks and what I mean by that is that they are FREAKING SLOW, there were 4-5 people in front of me but honestly by the time I got to order and actually received my pizza it was over 30 minutes and I ordered 2 slices of cheese thinking that I would get the pizza faster. Even for a cheese the pizza taste was ok, nothing to brag about and not something I would go back to again or even wait that long AGAIN just not worth it. Also it seems like they make a lot of cheese pizza and then when you want other toppings they add the topping to the already made pizza- ugh NO sorry I want fresh pizza, doing it this way doesn't make the pizza taste good to me. Would I got back again, I don't think so.

There's Good and There's Bad...

By The graduated Bookworm blogger |

Overall, it's definitely something to experience. Some people may say that the place inside is Dingy, and smells horrible and the service is slow. Personally, I've been there a handful of times and it always varies... Sometimes it can smell bad due to the washrooms, but if you're not near it, then it's fine. The service can be slow, but usually only when it's super busy, and even then they're working hard to get the Pizza's rolling out. I sat there one night when it was steady, and there was a large group of people who ordered the massive sized pizzas, and they were coming out super fast. If you're going for the experience of the food, you'll enjoy it. Be warned that it's super fresh when it's coming out, so it WILL. BE. HOT! The slices are super big, so if you don't eat much to begin with, order maybe just a slice or two, as even their small sized pizza is massive. The atmosphere and surroundings are right in the central of town, so it's bound to be busy.

BIG Slices - But Average Tasting (IMO)

By JTF_1977 |

My partner and I dropped into Serious Pizza for a light lunch on a whim when in Deep Ellum while vacationing in Dallas. Based on TripAdvisor reviews (which I usually fully agree with), we were excited for some seriously good pizza. •The counter staff was pleasant. The place is very open and pretty clean for a dingy little pizza joint. The bathrooms, however, were disgusting and the door does not shut. Just FYI. •Each of us got one slice (they are SUPER BIG). I wanted Buffalo Chicken, but they were out of Blue Cheese. So instead I got sausage and green pepper. My partner got sausage and pepperoni. Here is where we differ. I did not think mine was bad, but I did think it was bland. My partner, however, thought his was great. •I think Serious Pizza’s gimmick of giant slices and pies garners more actual attention vs. the quality / taste of the pizza. With that said, I am in the minority it seems as most people love this place. So if in the area and you want to try Serious Pizza, I say get a slice (vs. a giant pie) and see what you think before you dive in all the way. If in Deep Ellum again, I would return to try a different slice (maybe the Buffalo Chicken) and give it one more shot because my partner liked it so much and this site seems to love the place.

Seriously good!

By Lynn W |

If you are a fan of thin, crispy style pizza, this is something you don't need to miss. Hand tossed and crispy perfection. The portions are large (a slice is more like a small pizza anywhere else) and the price very reasonable. We went at lunch, but it definitely has a bar atmosphere. Many thanks to the elevator guy at the Reunion Tower - he definitely knew where to find excellent pizza!

a HUGE deal

By bekahchica |

If you need drunk pizza, this is your place. If you need cheap food, this is your place. $3 for a cheese slice the size of you're head. It's not gourmet, but it's good enough and it's fun. My high school self would have been here every day. Definitely worth a visit for a taste and a photo op.

Definitely worth the wait

Wow, this place was great! The pizza is some of the best I’ve had. Great New York style pizza. The XL pizza is just that, 30 inch Pizza. You won’t be disappointed by eating here.

Huge slices!

By Amanda H |

This place is great for a big slice or the entire pizza! Great for lunch, dinner or after the bars close.

It's Not Serious Pizza, They Have a Gimmick

By STEVE D |

The place is old, filthy dirty and that's not counting the bathrooms. You'd be better off finding a Port-O-Let somewhere. The pizza gimmick is a 30" pie to share with your friends. Otherwise, it's pretty much very average pizza with one style of crust with the obligatory sauce and mozzarella cheese and anything else you want to add. Beer and fountain drinks. Mayhem throughout with little unsupervised Wildlings everywhere. Couldn't give me free pizza and pay me to eat there again. Might fight the crowd to get a pie to go if there was a UGE favor on the other end of my delivering this "Serious Pizza"

Great

By Yesenia M |

Went there with family and friends. When you walk in there isn't any direction but it's kinda of simple. We walked up to the big board ordered the 30inch pizza it was delicious and HUGE!

IMPRESSIVE SIZE for an above average taste

By Mike R |

I'm convinced most patrons go for the photo op with the extra large pizza. That's what we did. Don't get me wrong, the pizza was pretty good, and I might even do it again one day, but it's not the best pizza in town. It's good though. When we arrived, there were 25-30 guests in front of us waiting to order which means you stand in line for 20 minutes or so to order, then you sit for 25-30 more minutes and wait for your pizza, and in the meantime you're missing out on why you're in Deep Ellum. So... we opted to order our pizza online... spent the next 30 minutes walking around people watching, then came back for our pizza. I definitely recommend that strategy unless you're not there to people watch. We ordered the XL cheese and it was about $32 with tax. It'll feed a family of 5. Good pizza. Phenomenal size in the XL option.

Biggest slices ever!

By jdosu |

No joke - this is really "serious" pizza. Great pizza; great atmosphere; fun people working there. Can't wait to go back!

Not Suitable for Lone Vegans

By myohmyitsrhy |

The slices come pre-cheesed. So if you want no cheese you have to get a whole pizza... ridiculous. The whole pizza is way too big and expensive for one person.

Seriously undercooked pizza

By james_diveinstructor |

We've just moved here from New York. We were told this was as close as we'd find to the pizza we're used to. We rocked up. A line outside was encouraging. We waited 45 minutes to order and another 45 minutes to get our pie... And it arrived undercooked! Never going back.

Definitely best pizza in the area!

By VerdanzaHotelGM |

I came with the family and we all want to go back. It was great! Great beer and awesome pizza. The staff was very friendly!!

never going back so bad

By jim |

the worst pizza ever crust was like cardboard , too expensive domino's is better , service bad too ,

The wait is worth it

By Werita G |

Not bad for a Saturday, it was super busy went around 9pm they extended the place making it quicker to get a table, the setting is very laid back and it’s fun watching the XL pizzas being made pizza is delicious, thin crust, tomatoe sause is just right.

Great tasting pizza!

By cstrick7 |

Went here based off the reviews and the size of the pizza! Definitely was not disappointed! My bf and I decided to go with the medium pizza which is 18"! The pizza tasted amazing! The crust and sauce were right on. Will definitely stop back when we're back in the area!

Quantity not quality

By dallasguyDallas |

I feel I'm pretty serious about my pizza and this did not do it for me. Crust was dry and tasteless and overall flavor was not good. If you want to get filled up on not too much money this is the place.

Yummy pizza but the place needs a scrub

By Puja B |

I really enjoyed the pizza at the place and would recommend - especially the nice touch of the guy at the window making the dough- however the restaurant is in real need of a tidy up. Seats are torn with stuffing coming out them and the toilets look like prison cells.

Huge Pizza Pie

By eastbrookcenter |

Lots of hype for this place in Deep Elum. However, the pizza was average compared to other pizza places. It was cool to watch them throw the large dough. They only serve one size pizza and it is huge. Best to order by the slice and build your own.

Good pizza, nice atmosphere

By txsqueek |

This pizza place has a very "hip" environment (if you're into that sort of thing) and the staff seems to have fun. The pizza was good but we didn't try anything too adventurous (pepperoni and some sort of meat lover's).

Really good Za

By Matthew B |

Great big pieces of pizza. Great ingredients, but crust can be a little inconsistent. One of my favorites in Dallas.

Insane pizza!

By SaSo00 |

Awesome and very reasonably priced pizza! I had a giant slice (just a regular size... but it was huge! !) With 3 toppings & a can of muller light for under $10 inc tax. Quite a long way along Elm Street but well worth the walk, thin base& very yummy! It may look closed from the outside as dark but push the door& check- don't miss out!!

Meh.

By Ashley R |

Slices are large but nothing to write home about. I feel like I’d have enjoyed this better if I wasn’t sober. I added lots of flavor maul toppings and it was still just meh.

Largest pizza I've encountered

By Mr G |

I can tuck it away...but my goodness...the size of these pizzas. Medium is a traditional large, large is a tradional extra, extra large and extra large is in a class by itself. Three of us had a large and it took up most of our table that would seat four. Two feet diameter. We finished it, but was a challenge. We couldn't have finished an extra large and we would have needed a larger table for that. I guess everything really is bigger in Texas. Pizza itself was good. Especially since it didn't have the benefit of a wood fired oven. Adequate beer selection on tap. The neighborhood, Deep Ellum, isn't for everyone. Lively but has a few down-on-their-luck people about. But there were three of us and we felt safe. Very popular neighborhood with bars, restaurants, etc. Parking there can be challenging. Ordering can take some patience if it is crowded. Order at a counter and the food is brought to your table. If you want a second beer you have to get in line again....unless you charm a server, give her exact change (plus a dollar) and she will bring you another beer. I thought all the workers were pleasant. But I treated them all with respect. Maybe some of the negative reviewers hadn't learned that lesson yet. I would go back.

Great Pizza!

By DChapin |

This place is a place you at least have to check out to say that you have been there. Good pizza just don't expect to get in and out very quickly. The wait is really long.

Ok pizza, definitly a place for the young crowd (20s)

By Steve D |

Just wanted to try a giant slice of pizza. Pizza was ok, nothing special. Definitely a place for the young crowd, went at lunch time on a Saturday and felt out of place. So been there, done that didn't get the t-shirt and would not make a special effort to go back.

Delicious!

By pauojeda54 |

We ordered the biggest pizza they sell (we were four people, 3 dudes and me, a gal) and we obviously didn't finish it but seeing the huge pizza by our table was amazing. It was delicious, with very rich ingredients and a thin, crispy crust. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great; people drinking, talking, generally hanging around. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun night out and delicious food.

Serious Pizza/ Huge Pizza/Valued Price/ Taste above average

By Texas_Travel_1 |

In the Deep Elum neighborhood of Dallas, Serious Pizza provides a great, but not excellent pizza. Décor is brightly lit with brick walls painted. Noise does echo against the concrete floor and brick walls. Several flat screen TVs provide latest concert or sports events. When I visited on Thursday night, a gay couple, a family with several small kids (birthday party), a group of straight men watching sports on TV and some young professional ladies all dined in the same room and got along great! Pizza is what bring people. here. The slices are huge. The ingredients and numerous, and good tasting, but not excellent. Price is cheap for what is offered. Despite the rush, the service was friendly, inviting, and quick. I could not fill my drink at the fountain before the salad was served at my table. Pizza slice was delivered to my table shortly after that. The bus staff cleared by table with out being reminded by me. In Deep Elum, parking will be a problem. Try to avoid Friday-Saturday unless you get there by DART train.

Lot of people watching-average food

By K6Max |

This place is located in a renovated eclectic music area of Dallas. We were told the pizza was amazing, but that must of been a review from 3AM. We travel a lot and know good pizza. We ordered amedium and left half, but did enjoy watching the crowd!

St Paddy's Day Lunch

By rebeccasQ5787PN |

We were in the Deep Ellum area for St Paddy's Day and happened upon Serious Pizza. The line was out the door and we almost left but everyone said it was worth the wait. As we waited I watched the guy throwing the pizza dough (pretty awesome!) and then realized just how big these pizzas are! They're HUGE!!!!! We ordered a large for 3 people and had some leftover for dinner later, all for only $30. The pizza was delicious and worth the wait. They have bottled beer and a very unique selection: Mickey's, PBR, Lone Star and a giant Colt 45! The booth seats were a little scary (upholstery torn up and not comfortable), it's definitely a place that focuses on their pizza and not the atmosphere. We'll be back

Great pizza, rude staff

By Tirzah D |

I went here for slice of pizza and the taste did no disappoint! I did the make your own slice and it was delicious. They also have one of those cool coke machines where you have the endless options. I also loved the paintings on the wall. The only reason I didn't give it a 4 is because the staff was super rude to us. We didn't realize the line forms to the left of the line. There was one guy in line and the lady rudely told us we had to go behind him. We apologized but then as we were waiting another group cut us and she didn't say anything to them!! She knew we were next because she had told us where to form the line. Unbelievable.

Seriously slow pizza

By John B |

Serious pizza that takes seriously too long... after waiting 20 minutes for one slice, it was certainly mediocre. I would not wait again. Toppings are good but cheese sucks

Mediocre pizza

By William R |

Came to Serious Pizza based on trip advisor. Saturday night at 7:00 and the lines already out the door. Took 15 minutes just to order, told it would be another 45 to get our pizza. No problem, we'll wait. Staff was very friendly and polite. Pizza showed up 50 minutes later, so their timing was spot on. Problem was the pizza. Tasty crust but nowhere near the char you see in pictures people post. Cheese not all that melted and still white. In our opinion the pizza was under cooked. And the pepperoni was flavorless. Maybe it was just a bad night, maybe it was because it was so busy. But this was average at best. Oh, and fix the door closer for the men's room. Every time someone opened the door it would stay open. Not real appetizing watching people go to the can and smelling it too!

Great pizza to much waiting.

By kerin j |

Let me start of by saying the vibe inside is wonderful. Every one is having a blast the employees are also respectful and full of energy. The pizza was amazing 30inches is no joke try not to get cheese as it taste extremely simple. Everything else is beyond delicious. The cons : waiting for pizza can be a pain had to stand there for a good 45 minutes with some friends luckily we are a patient group having a great time. The inside is of decent size especially on a packed day expect to get pushed around at times.

Seriously, good pizza!

By SBR |

Located in Deep Ellum so atmosphere can be a little funky (but mostly fun). They hand toss the pizza, so that provides some entertainment as does general people watching. If you aren't starving or a big eater, a slice may be enough. They partially cook a HUGE pizza and then put your chosen ingredients on your slice and then finish cooking. The menu is a little confusing-the large pizzas are enormous-while fun, sometimes the center is a little less done than desired. As good as the pizza is, try not to order more than you can finish-it just isn't that great when left-over. Just a few beers on tap-more available in bottles.

Never eat here

By Brianna P |

1. too loud 2. the cashier, Fernanda G, put us as takeout when it was dine-in. She also mispelled my name when I spelled it letter by letter. She somehow got Rhianna out of B-r-i-a-n-n-a. 3. waited overe 40 mins for due to the fact that she put my name wrong so I was listening for my name not the popstar 4. we were not served or treated as dine-in guest once we got our pizza or even the 40 mins before 5. The tables are nasty

Seriuos Pizza in Deep Ellum is a fun place to hang out!

By sojournermonde |

Fun and funky place. this is not your ordinary Pizza parlor! The pizzas are definitely unique, not NY style but Deep Ellum style!

Delicious pizza

By joatorres |

Amazing pizza and great prices. Really entertaining to watch them prepare those huge pizzas in front of you and tossing them in the air. A lot of choices too. Strongly recommend it!!

$3.00 slice is huge!!!

By Mark Graydon |

Huge pizza slices and a great choice of bottled beer in this cool eatery in Deep Ellum. Welcoming staff and a nice place to hang out for an hour.

Piiiizzzzza

By Scott N |

I ate here twice whilst in Deep Ellum. Great pizza and great value. I had a large slice (from a 30 inch pizza), which came with a refillable soda for $5.95

Wonderful!

By Kathryn_Sue_W |

I've been coming to this place regularly since it opened, as I live in the area. When it was newly opened, it was truly incredible pizza, and the vibe was great and laid back. Everyone that worked there was pretty eccentric, but the place seemed to be a well-oiled machine. Then we came in one day and it was a totally new staff, and that's been the experience every time for the last few months. Turn over there is mind blowing. I've never seen or heard anything about the owner. With each wave of new employees, the quality of the pizza and service suffers. It's still good food at a good price, but there is usually some problem when we order there. It gets very busy at dinner hours. I would definitely recommend checking this place out, just arrive in a patient mood!

Very Large and Very Good!

By Brian J |

Great pizza without a doubt...but be careful if you order the 30" to go...it might have to go in the trunk. We almost always get the Big Meat and love every bite...and there are a lot of bites in a 30" pizza.

Yummy! Go hungry!

By ExploringNowWithBabe |

We went here the other night after a couple bars and it hit the spot! Beware, slices are huge so only order 1 per person! We were starving and each ordered one slice which we couldn't even finish it. It's all homemade and you get to watch them make the huge pizza dough right there. Great spot to visit! Recommend stopping by if you are in the area and are hungry.

Seriously big!

By just1goodservice |

This place was great! they entertain my kids while they showed off their super dough tossing skills! the pizza was huge and very tasty. We loved it

Great Pizza

By Erin R |

A friend and I fell into this place when we were waiting for a band (Dead Flowers) to start and we decided to grab something to eat. It took a little bit to get thru the line (if my friend didn't grab our seats we might have had to get our order to go). On the blackboard above the 'kitchen' they have almost anything and everything you could ever want on your pizza. The wait was well worth it and the price wasn't bad. The pizza is hand tossed and the slices are huge. The best part is watching people leave with the huge pizza boxes and pivot them to get out the door.

Wow! No, WOW!!

By Johnowen68 |

Now this is some SERIOUS pizza! The pizza box barely fit in the back of my 2013 Ford Escape!! It was HUGE! And spot on flavor! Get there early or put your order in and walk around the artsy district they're smack dab in the middle of. The hand toss the pizza dough right in front of you. I mean just a couple of feet away from you. Literally! Great pizza!

Drop a little money into the place!!

By Chuck B |

Well, I have to say, the staff were friendly, the service was very good, and the food was excellent. However, I cannot give this place two thumbs up. This place had about 16 or 17 booths in it. Everyone of the seats in the booths were torn up, you had to sit on the foam stuffing. This is unsanitary to say the least. What happens if someone drops a piece of pizza on the foam stuffing? Do they bring out another piece of foam stuffing? The bathrooms have no paper towels, not even a dispenser, also there is no soap, not even a soap dispenser. So if you want to wash your hands, it's not going to happen. The toilet was always hissing, and there was no lid on the toilet tank. I would never take a date to this joint! The owner needs to fix this place up. Other than the food and the service, this place was a big turn off!!

Not Serious about Cleanliness

By Zach Z |

If all you care about is grabbing an enormous slice of pizza this is your place. Everything else was lacking. It started with a disinterested cashier who looked annoyed that she had to work. We found the only available table still dirty with crumbs from the last customer. I looked at the floor and there were random pieces of pepperoni strewn about and who knows how long they had been sitting under my table. It took 45 minutes to get our order for three pizza slices. They also arrived 10 minutes apart. During that 45 minutes, I never saw anyone clean any tables. There was trash everywhere. I understand they are going for the pizza dive restaurant vibe but it is just a dirty pizza place.

Wouldn’t go back for a million dollars

By Roving37883820390 |

The pizza was alright. The problem was the hygiene. The place was absolutely filthy, and I honestly don’t know how it’s passed a heath inspection. The restrooms, especially were traumatizing-I feel like I was exposed to a war zone...It looked like it had been ages since the last time someone had cleaned them. Only one out of three stalls was functional. The one that was functional was missing a wall and the door didn’t lock. There was also no trash can inside the stalls so there were used sanitary napkins and toilet paper on the floor. The toilet itself had things growing on it-absolutely atrocious. It really makes me wonder how clean the kitchen must be (what the public can’t see) if the bathroom is in this condition (what the public can see). God bless the soul who will one day clean those restrooms.

It's pizza.

By Brenna M |

If there were other options, you wouldn't go here. We we're craving pizza so we stopped in, waited in a long, slow line, ordered our food and sat at the first dirty table we could find. The place is a mess, no one really cleans the floors or tables. The pizzas are ok. The service is slow, not friendly but not unfriendly. They have a nice beer selection. I dont feel great today.

Fun Place... Food's Nothing Special

By billcox58 |

Serious Pizza serves maybe the biggest pizzas you'll ever see. Plenty of flat screen televisions are tuned to sports events, there's a pool table and a very informal atmosphere (including some unpleasant elements). Not exactly a family spot - probably not the best choice for a date, either. The food's okay, but nothing to go out of your way for.

Seriously, Serious Pizza?

By Buzzoff13 |

Down at the Deep Ellum Artfest this past weekend and found Serious Pizza. Got there just in time and still had to wait awhile but it was worth the wait. We were entertained by the manager tossing pizza dough and when we finally got our pizza, it was great. It was fresh, tasty and OMG huge! Make sure you are hungry when you go!

A favorite for weekends

By gvtxgirl |

Great place to go on a weekend afternoon. Spend some time looking around the neighborhood, then chill with a beer and a giant pizza. Go basic with pepperoni and mushroom or try one of their specials, can't go wrong. Sit at the bar to watch dough being hand tossed.

Huge slice of tastiness

By Aggie1994 |

I hail from Austin, home to a place on South Congress that has set a standard in pizza equal to that of New York City. With my taste buds well tuned, Serious Pizza is a winner. Mammoth size, crispy crust, and tasty toppings. Check it out!

Stiff cardboard.

By ThePerspective00 |

Simply awful. Went with group of friends. We all commented how poor it was. Bland and stiff like thick cardboard. Obviously don't take pizza seriously. Not recommended at all.

Seriously bad

By muffincakes |

Don't even bother coming here. We went on a Tuesday night when it was DEAD and it still took 30 min for 2 slices to come out. Pizza is extremely salty and poor quality. Staff are rude and don't want you in their business. Place is disgusting. I had to use the restroom but decided to wait, their restrooms are probably the worst in the country. Just.Don;t.Go.

GIANT tasty pizza

By Steven B |

We didn't have the nerve to order a whole pizza so we each bought one slice and it was more than enough. Great tasting pizza and we'll definitely go back whenever we have a party and need pizza to grab a few of the XLs to feed like....100 people I think. Only issue was it was crowded and took about 30 minutes.

HUGE Serious Pizza

By micky h |

This place is very very busy on the weekend, be prepared to stand in line for awhile. Pizza is good, lots of different types, something for everyone, priced good for what you get.

Stealing from customers!! Who charges a customer a delivery fee for a pickup!!

By Test A |

Decided on this shop based on a recommendation - I dove to the location to pick up the pizzas for a work gathering/team building event; I was charged a "delivery fee" for picking up the pizzas!!??!!? That is just stealing from customers!! Who charges a customer a delivery fee for a pickup!! We are a very large corporation and tried to give a small business a chance - this was a mistake!

Good pizza, NOT Great, DISTGUSTINLY FILTHY - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE !!!

By usarhino |

Let’s be honest...good pizza but NOT great, I guess it’s cool they have giant pizzas...but who cares about the pizza if you have a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE? This is the problem......The restaurant is DISCUSTINGLY FILTHY !!! My family and I had a terrible experience last night. After we ordered, (we each got a slice), we looked for a place to sit and every table was filthy as well as the floor and seats. We had to clean our own table. GOD FORBID you have to use the bathroom, It reminded me of a combination of a horribly run down bathroom in a Third World country and as disgusting as one of those Porta potty’s at the state fair......I’m not exaggerating! So after waiting 40 minutes my wife got her slice of pizza but the other two slices were not ready for another 15 minutes. No one that worked there seemed to care and acted irritated that we actually expected our Family to eat at the same time. There was also no ice available for soft drinks and after asking three different workers it was obvious They did not give a crap and had no intention to fix the problem. Whoever the owner of this restaurant is should be ashamed and seriously fire the management, absolutely unacceptable and pathetic to run the restaurant like this.

The True Skinny on This Place

By Hollyreubens |

Visiting granddaughter on Thanksgiving weekend and she suggested this place on Friday night since my grandson wanted to go to a concert in Deep Ellem. First let me say the pizza is AMAZING, loved every bite and wanted more but that was not an option, because there was a LONG line to order and if you wanted to order a whole pie the wait after getting to the order counter was 1 hour and fifteen minutes. Needless to say we just ordered slices and the wait for them to arrive at the booth, that all five of us were crammed into, was short. Since this was my only trip there I don't have any other time to compare it to, and it was a holiday weekend Friday night so maybe it was extra busy and I understand that. But they seriously need to revamp their seating because they need lots more and there was unused space. They only have one tiny soda machine for a large, busy restaurant so there was a long line there too. The booth we sat in was small and cramped and the cover was missing from the cushion so you sat on nasty looking foam but there were tables and chairs we would have sat at if they had been available. This is 5 star pizza in a 2 star atmosphere but I only took off one star because the pizza is seriously great thin but not dry and too crunchy crust with tasty toppings. I highly recommend it but be prepared. Oh and the young woman at the order counter was super nice!

Great Pizza for Great Price!

By getupradio |

Nice place to eat a SERIOUS SLICE OF PIZZA! Starting at $5.85 per slice or 32.00 for whole pizza. One size drinks at $1.85 (with free refills in to go cup), but free cup of water available. Bathrooms are clean but some stalls won't lock. Great for family, friends, dates and small/large groups. Definitely inexpensive and worth the money. ENJOY!

Colorado traveler

By str8loco |

It is located downtown. Very friendly atmosphere. I got there Monday afternoon place was a little quite. I figured Friday and Saturday would be a very popular place to hang out and get pizza. We ordered the biggest pizza on the menu. It was a 30 inch pizza pie biggest I have ever seen. Will go back to this place when we visit Dallas again.

Quantity over quality.

By ChrisHH |

Average pizza for a slice joint. Glad I tried it, but likely won't be back. I did not care for the buffalo chicken pizza, but the pepperoni & fresh garlic was good. Questionable neighborhood and terrible parking. Carmine's in Dallas or Tony's in The Colony get my nod for better NY slices.

Great Pizza

By Queenuniek |

Tried out this popular pizza place on a Saturday early evening. Stood in line for about 40 minutes to order. Great location, atmosphere and inside décor. Lots to look at and discuss while waiting. Once we ordered we had to wait a while (10 minutes) for a table to open up. With my pizza I ordered a side salad. They delivered our food to us but I had to go back up to ask for a fork. After waiting about 15 more minutes, the clerk tells me they don't have any utensils...the order didn't come in, and they've been out for 2 days. Ok. Would have been nice if the lady would have told me that when I ordered a salad...that requires a fork. I asked for a refund on the salad that I couldn't eat. The pizza slices weren't a disappointment though. They were HUGE and so delicious. Price was good too. I'd come back for pizza.

A bit hyped, perhaps

By Russell M |

I thought the pizza was good, but not great. I think maybe they get a lot of hype due to quantity. I've never seen pizzas so big and the slices (by the slice) are definitely two large slices worth of pizza. My lukewarm rating may also have something to do with my lukewarm slice -- the cheese wasn't fully melted. It also took a lot longer than I expected. I'd try SP for lunch again sometime to see if there is more to this place than I experienced the first time (my colleagues seemed to really like it).

Seriously, serious pizza..

By Duke1424 |

Great giant slices of pizza and calzones are great too! You can get 30-inch pizzas that are seriously huge! Great crispy crust and nice flavors. Only negative is thebooth seats are terrible and worn out missing covers and kinda dirty floors. They were not that busy so that can be fixed easily. Good place, great pizza!

Big Pizza Average Taste

By Noah G |

Stopped at this Deep Ellum pizzeria in Dallas TX while traveling back home on a business trip. If you haven't eaten in days, eat here. The pizzas start at 18 inches for a medium and go up to a 30 inch for the Extra Large. Now that's some serious pizza!

Good pizza

By Wilson L |

Had a very delicious pizza here. Staff was friendly, service was quick. The large pizzas are so good, especially after a few drinks. Definitely will be back again if I'm in Dallas.
