My husband and I are locals who used to enjoy eating here for the ambiance. All of that changed two nights ago, though, because of the new ownership in this place. To our surprise, the hostess refused to seat us! I pointed out to her that the place was half empty. She said, "All those tables are reserved for other people." Yeah, right! Then she showed me her reservation sheet, and there wasn't a name on it! We had no choice but to leave, but I don't see how a hotel can stay open when the breakfast cafe's motto is: WE'D RATHER SNUB YOU THAN SEAT YOU!

I had a great experience with Samantha. She had a great attitude and really cared about her customers.

The best service we ever have with our waitress May Bermudez. Please give her a pay raise as soon as possible. It would be more than well deserve. The only thing better than the food was the SERVICE she provided. Good job . We will be back.

Replacing Lucky Penny with California-inspired “comfort Food with a contemporary twist” Serrano Vista Café opened in Summer 2022, The Palms foray into 24/7 dining outpacing other similar concepts thanks to a diverse menu from Chefs Gonzalo Garzo, Edwin Luna and Marcus O'Brien. Located at the resort’s east-most end without much signage it is from the podium that the space spans large with grab n’ go choices at the front including Sandwiches, Salads and Pastries from Chef Tammy Alana as well as Purple Potato Bakery. Decorated in a nondescript style with neon and art, pop music playing overhead from the 80s to now, it is once seated that service proves friendly and clever with the sort of attention to detail many might not expect from this sort of venue. Offering Breakfast, “All Day” and Late Night menus, PALMS’ sweets specialist Tammy Alana tackling gigantic Cinnamon Rolls served with Chocolate-covered Bacon and a Butterscotch sidecar, additional early options include deep-fried French Toast served with Peanut Butter and Strawberry Compote. Running the gamut of German, Chinese, Creole and Mexican where “the Golden State meets the Silver State,” a giant Pretzel made properly suspended alongside Birria de Res with lots of Cheese, Beef Brisket Fried Rice arrives in a generous portion for the price as does Gumbo around Rice with both Chicken and Chouriço. Not forgetting Walnut Shrimp, as inauthentically delicious here as anywhere on Spring Mountain Road, Flatbreads are fairly basic which allows more time to focus on the fantastic smoked Brisket served on a Pretzel Bun with Figs, Onions and Brie. Happy to try a few new Entrees, Serrano Vista’s Meatloaf tender with hints of Bacon and smothered in Red Wine Gravy, don’t miss Butternut Squash Rigatoni with Sausage that looks and tastes as refined as something one might find at Esther’s Kitchen. Never missing a chance to try Chef Alana’s Desserts, past or present at Scotch 80, Vegan Chocolate Cake and Cheesecake shout nostalgia in all the best ways while the Butterscotch Pot de Creme and Banana Tiramisu outpace many upscale dinner outposts on the Strip in terms of taste and texture. More Comfort-Food than the past menu, though the handmade Pecan Candy atop a Turtle Sundae shows Tammy has no interest in dialing it in, fans of Bread Pudding will find no better in town than the steamy Pumpkin version served with Maple Rum Sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream.

We were looking for a healthy meal after eating junk for a few days. This place was perfect. We really enjoyed the artichoke dip and the spicy Thai chicken salad. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating of my daughter's food allergies. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were rather reaonable.

Great casual restaurant that is open all the time. Our waitress, Michelle, was terrific and the food was delicious.

Super easy and delicious breakfast at Serrano Vista! Our server Mateo was attentive and kind. Great spot for breakfast if you’re staying at the Palms!

We were there for breakfast the potatoes were bland the cheese I had added to my scrambled eggs was an individual slice of American cheese which didn’t melt and my toast was cold… no thanks

Aquila was my server. She was attentive, friendly and provided world class customer service. The food was delicious and on point. I will be back

My wife and I were at the Palms for a 2-night stay. In the morning we had breakfast at the cafe. The food was good. The service was exceptional. Michelle, our server, was efficient, very attentive., and personable. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned for breakfast the following morning and asked for one of Michelle’s tables. A number of staff had called in sick and I think Michelle was one of two servers on the floor. We got one of her tables. We could tell things were stressful because of the staff shortage, but Michelle handled it with great poise and made us feel as welcome as she did the day before. My wife and I have eaten at a lot of restaurants and seen the whole spectrum of wait staff. We would rate her as “among the best”. Both days we left the cafe with smiles on our faces.

Michelle was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we had a wonderful meal. She’s kind and attentive, the ribeye was amazing and loved the Serrano Breakfast.

I was staying at the Palms and wanted a sit down breakfast one morning. This was the perfect choice. I only had to wait a few minutes for a table. The food was good and so was the service. I had the Serrano Vista Breakfast and it hit the spot.

Can’t say enough about this amazing cafe! They took the best care of us during our visit. Ate here several several times- food and service was wonderful - 10 ⭐️!!

We were headed to the Palms buffet but there was 1-1/2 hour wait so we strolled a bit further into the casino and came upon the cafe which was pretty empty. The menu is typical cafe- burgers, sandwiches etc so a Turkey Club was the choice for me. Not a fan of the sourdough bread, I requested and received rye. The Wagyu burger was also good but didn't taste much different than a regular burger. Service was quick and the food better than expected. Reasonably priced except for the iced tea ($9.50 for two-wow)

Amazing atmosphere, great service, delicious food! I ate breakfast and lunch here and it was very affordable and well made food. I recommend the beef brisket fried rice for lunch. Good portion size, great flavor! They also have a decent bar selection which is great too!

First of all, the Cafe itself is very inviting! We were there for breakfast. I like my eggs over easy, but my bacon dry and crispy. I also like the potatoes to be crispy. Well, everything came out exactly as ordered! The bacon just melted in my mouth, the potatoes had that nice crispiness while being tender and hot inside! Eggs still hot and toast actually toasted and not soggy! The food was outstanding, but the service was unbelievable! Michelle was our server and she was on top of everything! Left us a carafe of coffee, brought all the possible condiments, checked up on us and in addition, was warm, friendly and professional! Located inside the Palms Casino, you need to make a stop in and check it out!

I visited this charming spot for breakfast with my girlfriend, and we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food! Our morning was filled with tasty dishes that set a delightful tone for the day and we can't forget about our waitress Michelle who was so loving and caring that she suggested a fun activities during our stay.

Great breakfast and our server Michelle was great & attentive, offering to go coffee after. They have many healthy options on the menu as well as classic breakfast items. We got a carafe of coffee at the table which was nice.

I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and now late night. Every single time the food has been good and so was the service. They have a nice variety of offerings.

Today was my father birthday and our server Aquila was outstanding she was very sweet to my father, Aquila treated us like we were family. And we loved it thank you so much Aquila for making our father birthday magic..

We ate 4 meals during our stay and found the food good, atmosphere pleasant and service attentive. We highly recommend. Try the chicken noodle soup and the Ruben with fries.

My family and I stayed at the Palms Hotel for 3 nights and must've eaten at this cafe within the hotel 4 times, and each time the service was unbelievably nice and the food was delicious each time. The servings are large, so the only draw back is when you stay at a hotel you can't store leftovers anywhere!

Worst restaurant experience ever. Yesterday I ordered two club sandwiches to go. I finally got them after TWO HOURS!! I ordered them around 3:30 or 4 pm. Very nice cashier. The Cafe was not busy. I played video poker as usual for 45 minutes. Came to get my order but they had lost it and it was nowhere to be found. No big deal I said. They started over. Ok I said. Came back 30 minutes later. They said Oh, we’re going to start on it now. Two women had been sitting at the bar waiting on their orders which they received and left. I sat down to wait where they had been and was told to leave because the seats were for people dining in. I stood up to wait. They finally brought my order. It was wrong because the bread was not toasted as is usual for a club sandwich. The rude woman manager told me she saw the bread go in the toaster. Ha! It was not toasted. I finally lost it and told her they did not know what the F#*# they were doing and I left. I am a Diamond player there and was treated horribly. They seriously need a new restaurant manager and a cook who can make a sandwich. You get an F for everything. Worst restaurant experience. Maybe I will just play more at a casino who can make me a sandwich in less than two hours and will spare me the rude attitude.

Michelle was our server at the Serrano Vista Cafe. She was amazing. The service was snap and pop and she delivered the exact specifications on the order that we requested. Great food and wonderful breakfast spot!

Convenient location in the Palms Hotel. Great granola, yogurt and fruit breakfast. Server Kevin is excellent and more than helpful. Large menu. Excellent pastries to take back to your room with a cup of coffee--convenient.

Michelle was very sweet and hospitable! She checked on our table consistently and refilled our beverages very quickly.

When you come here do yourself a favor and ask for Kevin or Mateo to be your waiters! They are both awesome and so polite!!! Omg they made our food ordering a breeze and were both so accommodating! So thankful for the both of them and Jonathan for his patience and kindness with us as well! Please make sure these waiters are given something for their service!!!! Im sure they have to deal with jerks so its amazing to see them all still be polite to their customers everyday!!! Thank you guys!!!! ❤️

Great all around restaurant for late night dining. Conveniently located in the Palms hotel. Diner stylish decor with a menu that rounds the bases. We ate here twice during our stay. Once to-go and once dining in. The service was friendly and communicative and the food was flavorful and reasonably priced. They had some great bakery options as well!

I travel to Vegas for business every month, and have breakfast here twice during that week. The food is always excellent, and the service is always great, especially with Michelle.

Best Steak in Las Vegas!!! T-Bone steak 3/4 of the plate for only $19.99 Grilled to perfection, seasoned perfectly. Saw a review by Jacobs Life in Las Vegas is why i went to this cafe. Hands down he was right! This place is affordable. My hubby had the Drunken Meatloaf and it was delicious

Le service was a DISASTER !!!! We had to wait 1 hour for a plate. No excuse. Nobody came to ask if we were ok. Food just ok. Don’t go there!!!!!!

Food was fantastic, staff was excellent and they had the game on the TV's. The restaurant is a little bit hidden but worth it once you find it.

As I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again… For the most part cafés at the casinos are hidden gems. They usually have a wide variety of food from different cultures and they’re generally very nice inside with a lower price point and you will find at the high-end restaurants in the same hotels. With that being said, Serano vista café falls right into that category on all levels. Well visiting, we stopped here for lunch and a late night bite without having to make a reservation for either visit. Staff was very friendly and the food was on point. Next time I visit the palms chances are I will consider coming here again.

Each time I go to a restaurant I always ask for recommendations, MICHELLE was our server and she knew the menu well and recommended a great lunch for me and my fiancé.

Food was great and service was spot on. Highly recommend. I would come back and try it for lunch or dinner.

Mateo was a great waiter. The food was good and the service was excellent. The portion sizes was plentiful and the presentation was eye candy. Every-time I come I will ask for Mateo.

Very cozy and cheerful atmosphere. LOTS of menu items to choose from that will not break the bank. Portions are very large and service is attentive. We will visit, again!

Located in The Palms for breakfast, lunch, pastries and Starbucks coffee. We had comps to use and just loaded up on snacks for the kids. Got a bunch of cookies. These aren’t just any cookies, they were giant soft chewy chocolate chip cookies. So yummy! We also got a box of macarons and few candy bars. Oh and their chocolate croissant was amazing. Service was nice. She was patient with us while couldn’t decide on what to get and to stay within our limits. She also suggested items.

The service by Michelle was superior. She was smiling from ear to ear and made us feel that she loves helping people. Our lunch came to the table, piping hot, and was delicious. We will eat there again.

Aquila our waitress is a breath of fresh air. She provided menu suggestions and handled special requests with a smile. By the end of our meal we felt as if Aquila had served us in her own home. We are sorry only because we will not be able to see Aquila as often as we’d like. She is a dream!

It is a fine place for a business lunch. The pizza was good. There is a quick service line with Starbucks drinks for those on the go. Nothing too special but decent option for those at the Palms.

I’ve been to this cafe many times as a local and have eaten at most casino cafes. This is one of the best menus. They also tend to switch the menu up seasonally and luckily my favorites are still there. Such as the ribeye, meatloaf, honey walnut shrimp and queso birria that I order often. Gayla is usually my server and is always so kind. She pays attention to detail and always makes great recommendations. Thank you for your excellent service!

Mateo is truly outstanding! From the moment we sat down at Serrano Vista Cafe, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. He’s friendly, attentive, and has a great sense of timing—always there when you need something, but never hovering. Mateo knows the menu well and gave excellent recommendations, and everything arrived perfectly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in his work. His positive attitude and professionalism made our entire experience even better. If you’re dining at Serrano Vista Cafe, ask for Mateo—you’ll be in great hands. He’s a real asset to the cafe!

Excellent and great service. Most waiters and waitresses will know who you . We frequently eat here. The Palms has many restaurant but this one has a variety of food options.

We stayed at Palms place for seven nights, and Serrano Vista Cafe is our breakfast cafe every morning. From the first visit to the day we left in Vegas, the service was fast, and the servers were spot on! The food is good, eggs benedict is lovely ( hollandaise is good), and the crushed avocado toast (must try!); you can also order an Irish coffee for breakfast. The staffs are so flexible, and they quickly understand your request or special instruction about the food! The only part we did not like was one staff member (male hostess) who didn’t smile/ he was a grumpy-looking guy. Nevertheless, our experienced was pleasant.

My wife was craving a loaded baked potato for lunch yesterday so we came in and sat at the bar and asked if we could get just a baked potato a la carte as a side dish, not on the menu. They said no problem! It was great! and only $8 compared to $16 at Maybel's BBQ or 19.95 at Burro Burracho in the Rio across the street! I had a bowl of creamy tomato soup which was also really good! The staff here are very friendly and really understand how to accommodate their customers! We liked it so much we came back for breakfast this morning. They have a special basic breakfast for only $7.77. Three eggs anyway you want, 3 slices of bacon or 3 fat sausage links, country potatoes cooked to perfection and 3 thick slices of toast. This is a full plate, a generous portion. No skimping on this dish! Everything was perfectly cooked and they were happy to accommodate my wife's standard add on request of a side of grilled onions not on the menu and at no xtra charge! Amazing service with a smile and a great breakfast deal! We will be back and look forward to coming here on our next visit to Vegas! Cafe Serrano in the Palms, you ROCK!

Michelle was awesome. Will be back when we fly back in January. Went for a business breakfast and quality and quantity of the food was awesome. Food was Fresh and Michelle was so accommodating when we kept adding more people to our table.
