Dined at Seven Lamps while in Atlanta for a conference, as it was recommended by several different people and reviewed favorably by Trip Advisor. From the food to the wait staff, it was great. Our server was an original employee of the restaurant (I think it has been open for only a few months), so she absolutely knew the best items on both the drink menu and the main menu. Various different entrees and appetizers were dined upon and each person found their meal to be amazing. The lobster roll was great, the oysters were delicious, the trout was amazing. In fact, the food was so good, I recommended it another group of convention goers the next day during a 'breakout session.' If I were to travel again to ATL, I would definitely dine at Seven Lamps again.

Enjoyed a great meal Saturday Jul 20th. The Tortellini was excellent as were the drinks. Great outdoor seating, noise level inside was good - not loud at all. Friendly service, great waitress, good prices.

Seven of us had dinner at Seven Lamps last Saturday night, I was pleased with the small plates but the main courses were a little underwhelming. I have been to this restaurant on two previous occasions and was very pleased with the handmade pasta dishes. However, on this visit only the Idaho Potato Gnocchi and the Roasted Beets were at the level I am accustomed. The Trout and Steak were good, but the Springer Mountain Chicken Breast was a little under seasoned. It also took a long time to get our main courses. Overall we enjoyed our visit to the restaurant, but would like to see a more consistency in the food.

Visited Seven Lamps with friends for dinner on a Saturday night. Be mindful of the traffic on Peachtree Road; it can make you late for your reservation. The restaurant is a little hidden in the shopping mall, but it's close to Tootsies. Once there, everything was very good. Service was very good, nice wine choices, but the signature cocktails are amazing. We split mussels, which were excellent. We also had the duck breast and a crab stuffed pasta, both were very good. Definitely worth a try!

Although I think that the ambience of a restaurant is very important - the food definitely is key. For our group, Seven Lamps was a bit of a let down. The positives; we had made a reservation and were seated promptly, the menu had lots of great options for both vegetarians and carnivores (the menu changes daily) and the decor and ambience were great. The restaurant is dimly lit and lively and the tables are "family style" which means that depending on your party size, you may be seated with those you do not know. I think this is a great concept and one that was being embraced by patrons. As for the food and drinks, they were just ok. Cocktails have twists on them that sound appealing however we received our drinks one by one (vs the whole table getting at once) with the last drink coming up at least 5 minutes later and in the end no one loved any of them. The best dish at the table food wise, was the hanger steak. It was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce with fingerling potatoes and greens. We also very much enjoyed the risotto which is listed as a small plate. The 3 pasta dishes we had were just ok. One was a bit too al dente, one was too salty and one the flavor profile was just "meh". We did have a burger as well which was tasty - however the bun of the burger was burned slightly and I ended up not eating it. If I can make a small recommendation it would be to provide larger water glasses. I felt as though our waitress was hovering all night because we happened to be drinking a lot of water and in such a tiny glass it was as if she never left the table. I feel like if I lived locally I would probably try this one more time to see if perhaps it was just an off night.

This was my first time here. A friend and I decided to enjoy to last of the warm weather and sit outside. (The music inside was very loud; it was much quieter outside, and much more conducive to conversation.) They specialize in locally-sourced food, so the menu changes with the seasons. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food was delicious, and the serving sizes were perfect. I would definitely recommend Seven Lamps to anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal at moderate prices.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the decor and the vibe...it was chic, cozy and fun. It felt relaxing and vibrant at the same time. It's not a large place, but nicely decorated for sitting at the bar or at tables. Our server was great...very attentive and trying to ensure we enjoyed our entire experience. I have a severe food allergy and discussed that early on with our server. He spoke with the chef and came back letting me know what I could/could not order. There were plenty of things for me to choose from. We started with a cocktail flight which was priced nicely and a fun way to try a few cocktails. All 3 drinks were very good. We then tasted a few of the wines before ordering a bottle and our server was happy to make suggestions and let us try a few before we settled on one for the table. We all ordered different meals and were excited when they arrived. They were nicely presented on the plates...pleasing to the eye and palate. The menu changes daily, so it may not matter what we ordered as there is a chance it's not on the menu when you go back. Except for the burger, which I'm told is never on the menu but always offered. It's what I ordered. I took one small bite and noticed a sauce that caused me to question whether I was allergic to something in it. I asked the server about the sauce and unfortunately it did have in it what I'm allergic to. That was bad, very bad for me. They quickly took it away, were apologetic and offered to bring me anything else. At that point, I was noticing a small reaction and was nervous to order anything else. The manager also came to the table, gave me his business card and told me to please call him if I needed to seek any medical care. I was really appreciative of the efforts they made after recognizing their mistake. I did eat the beet salad that I had originally ordered as a side and was able to enjoy my evening with my friends with minimal discomfort...fortunately I only took a very small bite. I will say the little bite I had tasted incredible so don't be dissuaded from ordering the burger unless you're allergic to tomato. In that event, make sure you order it without the sauce. (When the burger was described, there was no mention of a sauce...so it was a bit of a surprise when I took the first bite and saw it there.) I enjoyed the beet salad and my friends all enjoyed their meals as well. When it came time for the check, I fully expected they would remove the charge of my meal from the bill (that's what I would expect any restaurant to do without being asked). The manager personally came to our table and told us they were taking care of the entire bill and asked if we would still tip the server. WOW! is all I can say. They accepted responsibility for their mistake and far exceeded our expectations in how they handled it. That goes a long way in my book. Had they only taken my meal off the bill, I would have been satisfied with that but probably wouldn't consider going back. As a result of the way management handled this, if I have an opportunity, I won't hesitate to go back as I believe they will be even more careful than before. I have also already told a number of local friends about my experience and highly recommended they try Seven Lamps (I'm just visiting but know I'll be back because we have ties to Atlanta). Everyone in my party agreed that the food was fabulous, the atmosphere was fun, and the management was outstanding in how they handled a bad situation.

We took MARTA from downtown up to Buckhead just to try this restaurant. We were there on a Monday night, and it was hopping. We were able to get a table immediately, the food and cocktails were fantastic. Three got the hangar steak and one got gnocchi. The steaks were cooked-to-order perfectly and were well seasoned. Gnocchi were tender and the sauce was wonderful. Friendly wait staff, they wear cool t-shirts, unfortunately not for sale :-(

No need to write a lengthy review. Order the 50/50 cheeseburger (medium+), it's off the menu. Comes dressed with special sauce, house made pickles and ketchup. Oh, and a side of cottage fries! đđđđŽ

You will love Seven Lamps. It is accross street from Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead. The food is always good and great drinks. I love the patio. They had a wonderful hamburger. It is not on the menu just ask for it. It is one of the best hamburgers in Atlanta.

Tucked away in a otherwise random strip mall, Seven Lamps is an awesome escape from the typical garbage nearby. The atmosphere of rustic farm to table, warm and cozy grips you instantly. Prepare to be happy. We started with perhaps the most memorable mussels I've ever had. It's what makes someone a mussels lover, and transforms someone not sure of mussels into a mussels addict. How to eat this dish - on fork, seperate mussel from shell, swirl in broth, stab a crumb of savory andouille sausage and a slice of jalapeno pepper from the stew, settle on the tongue, chew slowly, then wash down with sip of wine. Repeat about 20-30 times from one bowl. Amazing. While we also had very nice beet and chopped grilled salads, the mussels will bring us back to try the great looking other dishes.

Main dish was very very good. Food was tasty, well prepared, well presented, good portion. Only thing bland was the dessert, had panacotta. Tasteless. Main room very noisy, ended up sittingboutside by fireplace, nice.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed visiting this restaurant on a Friday night. The food was excellent (I had the smoked pork chop and she had the salmon cake sandwich) and service was prompt and friendly. We would definitely come here again.

The food and service were awesome. In our group we had the mink fish, trout, gnocchi and brussels sprouts. We shared between us and everything was very good! The menu changes daily based on available fresh ingredients. The inside was loud, with that industrial looking ceiling, so we chose to sit outside where they do have heaters and blankets. We were well taken care of by our server. I would definitely go back!

Hungry after a day of travel and intrigued by the menu and name (based on the seven principles of architecture: sacrifice, truth, power, beauty, life, memory and obedience) we arrived for an early dinner. The place itself is a mix of rustic chic. The staff is polite, helpful and accommodating. The menu is widely varied with something for everyone. The wine list is small but contains decent mid-range selections. Now to the food itself. We ordered soup, salad, three different types of pastas (can we say melt in your mouth divine?) and dessert. Soooo very good we went back two days later and brought 5 more people with us. Again, the food, with the exception of the lemon dessert (texture was not quite right) was sublime. There is one criticism that didn't affect our dinner itself, but it is something the staff might want to refine so as to maximize profits. Trying to get a table for 7 was difficult as they seemed to have difficulty knowing how to maneuver the groups (kind of like playing a game in moving the pieces around the room until everyone was seated). Overall, we were very happy with Seven Lamps. If we lived in the area, this would be our new "go-to".

Best gin and tonic I've ever had. Yum The appetizers were really good too. Even the Squash soup was good. My only gripe is that it's a bit loud. You can't really hear each other.

Came with two colleagues and shared lots of small plates. Not one of them disappointed. I wish we had room for more- just about everything sounded good. Excellent drink selection, including some local beer and fabulous mocktails. Great craft food experience.

This is a tough restaurant to find but worth the hunt. They have a pretty good interior but if you can work it out sit on the patio. There is a robust app menu though the plates are small - The menu is pretty good but ask for the 50/50 burger off the menu. I had them put the dressing on the side which was an excellent choice. The fries were also a delicious surprise. That burger is something special! The place is staffed by a group of hard working people eager to make your meal memorable.

Well executed food with great service. We tried the picanha, octopus, plantains and oysters. The most memorable items was the pickled fingerling potatoes on the side of the octopus⊠never had pickled potatoes and now a huge fan.

Very Cool setting and awesome flavors...We tried Maine Mussels, Poached Shrimp (very unique with the braised leek, parsnip puree, vadouvan, endive, white grapefruit) I carried on so much Andy explained the taste and I'll to be cooking with the VADOUVAN soon. For entrees we had a nice Variety of Hanger Steak, Springier Mtn. Chicken, and my dish and personal favorite the Center Cut Pork Chop. I thought the service and food were outstanding, for those of you complaining about the price, try renting a spot in Buckhead and see what it costs. THX Andy!

Weekend in Buckhead with family and fiends. I had read reviews on this restaurant and wanted lunch at a non-chair type restaurant. We arrived close to the end of their lunch service. We reviewed the menu. Everything sounded delicious but it is a limited menu selection. We ordered mussels, PLT sandwich (pancetta instead of bacon) and roasted garlic panisse. It was all yummy. Our waiter was very attentive to us and made sure our drinks were refilled. We left very satisfied.

Let me first start out by saying the food was as very good. However, the service was the worst I have experienced in many years of global travel. This restaurant needs to get a grip or it will be out of business despite making really good food.

Parking is a awful. Preparatory parking company boots all cars immediately upon seeing anyone leave area, even if you walk across street to continue shopping. AVOID. AVOID.

What an amazing place. We went for my daughters birthday. They made a special menu for her and brought us champagne to celebrate. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere, waiter and restaurant manager. So happy we chose this place for her birthday.

I was here on a Friday night with my wife. We got there at 9:45, and they were a little bit militant about the fact that they close their kitchen at 10. In a "holy crap, I get it already" kind of way. And they did the same thing with the other tables who were seated when we were. But the trout and the mussels were great. Seriously good. And the homemade sausage in the mussel dish was absolutely outstanding. If I lived in Atlanta I would probably be trying to buy that sausage from them. It's that good. All in all, it was an outstanding recommendation from a couple of locals that brought us here, and I would definitely return, especially if I stay at the Westin again.

This was our Sunday lunch spot after a girls weekend and before going to the airport. The food was great and the staff was very accommodating.

We host a business dinner annually at Seven Lamps for a group of 25 ppl. This makes the 6th successful dinner we had. Customers love the farm-to-table concept and freshness of the meals. Our favorite app is hands-down the steamed muscles (especially dipping the bread in the creamy sauce). Charcuterie board was delicious. Burger is great...actually no complaints from any of the guest. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Atlanta this past January, staying in Buckhead, looking for a good lunch spot. The concierge at the hotel in which we were staying recommended Seven Lamps. It was, by all accounts, terrific-great food, well presented, great service, all in a lively atmosphere, completely full, even though it was late for lunch, around 2:00 pm. Highly recommended

A delightful dinner with co-workers at Seven Lamps. We sat at the Chef's table and each course was flavorful and server and chef were pleasant. The one odd pairing was an espresso martini (made with tequila) with dessert did not sit well with most everyone. I would definitely go back again.

My wife and I had several small plates and enjoyed each one. The pasta would bring me back. Fresh ingredients popped with flavor. Octopus was perfect amount of heat. However, don't get the raw oysters. Too small and too expensive. We also sat at a high table with stool seating. Most uncomfortable seat ever...maybe they use the stools to turn the tables.

I took a friend to Seven Lamps Restaurant for his birthday. The food was quite good; however, the noise level of the dining room was way too loud. We were unable to converse across the table without yelling at one another. Sorry to say, I will not return.

The food and service here was great! We were a little confused on ordering at first since this was our first time. Initially we were just going to have a few small plates and drinks but the server said we had to order in full... And man are we glad we did! Food was fantastic. The mushroom tortellini were to die for!

With an enticing menu and craft cocktails- Seven Lamps has the right ambience and location for a gathering with friends and family! The bartender and staff are experienced and friendly and the menu is exotic yet comforting.

It's a little dark and a little loud for such an intimate setting. However the food is great and service is better.

Very grateful for the ability to dine safely outdoors on the heated patio and receive such good service. The octopus appetizer was good, the salad very good and interesting with its unusual addition of radish, tomatillos, etc. The crispy brussel sprouts were good. I had the mussels as my main. It was not hot in temp, it was not spicy. Instead, there was a blob of something in it that was perhaps supposed to have been stirred in but wasn't. The mussels themselves had an odd soft texture, mushy even. Didn't enjoy. No comment on my partner's duck. He ate it, but didn't say anything about how good it was, which is not unusual. The wine menu is not large and they don't allow half glasses, which every restaurant that pours by the glass should.

I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars because of the exceptionally poor service. I've heard from others that this was truly an off night and that it's not usually this way, but this is what I experienced. first, it took more than 30 minutes to bring our drinks out to us, then another 20 or so minutes to place our food order. about 2 minutes prior to our food being brought out, I was told that they were out of what I ordered, but, not 2 minutes later the rest of my party of 6 was served. They attempted to make it up by quickly bringing my food out to me, but it came out raw, so I sent it back. In the meantime, everyone else had their food and they all enjoyed, especially the hanger steak and the mussel appetizer. when I finally received my food back, it was so over cooked it was inedible, so I went without dinner that evening. They did try to make it up to us by serving us dessert on the house, and the chocolate desserts were good. All in all, the service was lacking, but everyone else with me enjoyed their food. One person in my party said that he had been at this restaurant many times and never had this problem before, so I may give them another try at some time in the future.

The Service was great, but I would never come here again. Why am I giving this review 5 stars? So you can actually read my review. The cocktail drinks were good, but the food was depressing. I ordered the Hanger Steak and I usually order Rare to Medium Rare, and this steak smelled like a slaughterhouse. That is the problem, it should not smell straight from the slaughterhouse rather it should smell like food ready to eat. My date had the Chicken, which she says was okay, but felt like the sides were mediocre. One of the sides looked unpleasant and had an unpleasant taste. Bottom Line: The price you will pay for this Restaurant is not comparable to the quality. Atmosphere too loud, too hipster and pretentious. I would have rather spent $100+ elsewhere.

Very loud place (two large parties being served). They were out of 2 entrees that we tried to order (didnât tell us until we ordered). Salads , wings , burger: all very good ! Oyster special : mediocre No tea of any kind , hot not iced , kind of find that odd. đ€·đ»ââïž Excellent server Think they have potential, we may have just caught them on an off night.

We went to dinner with a group of nine. The food was all very original and excellent. they used hardwood fires to cook. i had the cheeseburger and I was extremely impressed...yes with a Cheeseburger! The beer & wine selections were excellent even though the list was small. We had excellent service by a surprisingly good server named Chris.

We went there with friends and family. Everything that we order was simply spectacular. Great place, great service, great food. Simply a must go restaurant near Lenox Square.

We arrived and were seated quickly with our reservation but our outdoor table was given away so we were inside. Disappointed but inside has a great vibe itâs just loud. Waited on quickly by our server but drinks took a while. Ordered an appetizer and it took a very long time. Then our actual meals were completely forgotten or a mistake was made in the kitchen. It was almost 2 hours before our meals were in front of us from when we arrived. If we had not been compensated and the excellent discussion, we would have left. The food was a delight and to be recommended. However the restaurant must work on the kitchen service and needs a few more wait staff. Love the vibe and food but not worth the lack of Timely service even when compensated. Rating reflects a 5 for food and atmosphere and a 1 for service and delivery.

Great Food, lovely staff. I loved the burger! These guys switch up the menu daily so you're guaranteed something different. Chef has a ton of excellent options. This particular burger is a specialty they have and it was quite tasty. Lots of microbrew choices as well. Enjoy!

Really enjoyed this spot for lunch. Had the lobster roll, tuna melt and the shrimp roll all of which were really good. Nice atmosphere and good service. Also other than the lobster roll (understandable) was reasonably priced.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The restaurant menu changes at least quarterly, so there are new things to try. The restaurant has communal seating, so if it is busy, be prepared to be sitting next to your new best friends. It can get very loud in the restaurant, so might not be one you'd go to if you need a quiet space to discuss business or personal matters it would be hard to hear. There is outdoor seating, so if the weather is nice, it is pleasant out there.

Came here for a late lunch, and had a great experience. The place is tucked away in the corner, so it felt cozy. The lighting was somewhat romantic, but was maybe a bit too too dim. The atmosphere gave off rustic, but upscale place, with tiki bar vibes They only had one server & one bartender working, but it wasn't busy, so they handled it well. We started with the fried plantains, which had great flavor. Never had them topped with cotija cheese, but gave great flavor. My wife had the BBQ salmon, which she enjoyed. I had the grilled pork chop, which topped coconut rice & pineapple salsa. It was amazingly good. Dri ks were good. I'd come back, but the menu is somewhat short.

Superb service. They were very accommodating to our large party that did not have a reservation and required separate checks (boo us!). The squash pasta was delicious, as were the cottage fries. The artisan cheese board was an awesome appetizer. Great wine selection.

I had dinner there last night. I am from Montreal and we have our fair share of great restaurants and this one was up there with it. I would have liked the waiter to be more honest about the size of the small plates as they werenât small. I ordered two and he asked if I wanted them together. I was over whelmed when both arrived. I ordered the mango, cucumber, feta and fregola. It was delicious and refreshing. I also ordered the bbq shrimp. Abit too much oil in the plate for me but OMG it was delicious, served on a baguette doused in oil...it was so yummy!!!! So alternated bites between the refreshing salad and the bread shrimp combo. To close it off, I had the yogurt watermelon sorbet served on a bed of chocolate crumble and chocolate macaron. I wished that plate was bigger. The sorbet was so fresh it cleaned out the heaviness from the shrimp. The chocolate crumble I loved and added some to my espresso macchiato lol. The macaron was perfect tiny bites and nice and gooey. I would def recommend going to this restaurant.

Came here for daughter's birthday dinner. Seated immediately with our reservation although they didn't appear to be overly busy when we arrived but that changed during our visit. Very trendy spot and I love the fact parking is convenient and self park. Nice outdoor dining area but we were a six top so dined inside. Great decor but the open ceiling made it difficult to have a conversation except for those immediately next to you especially as they got busy. Limited beer and wine menu but they had some great choices. Tad pricey for the Creature Comforts beer selection. Nice specialty drink options but again pricey. Food menu appears to be printed nightly so I'm guessing it changes frequently which makes recommending a dish difficult. All of our entrees were exceptional but smaller portions. The service was a tad slow especially getting our drink orders and additional rounds but we were not in a major hurry. Desserts were really good but portions were small and difficult to share. Overall a great place and nice experience.

Just to be clear it is a very good restaurant. We had the mussels for one plate and then the shrimp po boy for the other plate as well as a couple of different drinks. The mussels were great! It is a pretty sizeable and shareable portion with a decent bit of andouille sausage and a nice rich broth and crusty bread to soak it all up. I would certainly recommend that dish. The shrimp po boy was lacking a flavor pop. It said that it had a spicy slaw on it but the slaw was not all that flavorful. The cottage fries that came with it were decent but could have been cooked longer so they were all crispy. The portions there are generous, the service is great and overall it has a nice atmosphere. Is it in a strip mall area? Yes, but calling The Shops Around Lenox a strip mall is not really fair. Those are all very nice shops surrounding Seven Lamps and I think it makes it better as you can have a nice meal at Seven Lamps and then do some great shopping without walking more than 300 feet to the opposite end. I also thought that the drinks were not only creative but fantastic! I would highly recommend the "Irrational" cocktail. Even if you are not a gin drinker it is a great balance of sweet, bitter, spicy and aromatic.

We tried the mezzaluna, parsley ravioli and the steak. All three meals were presented beautifully the range and complexity of the flavors of each dish was fabulous. We cant defenitly cant wait to visit again.

Went there on a weeknight for dinner. At first we were seated next to the door and it was very hot as the door opened and closed. While reluctant to move us, they finally did. The place was not crowded so I didn't understand the big deal. The other table was a little better, but still very warm. It never got comfortable in the place. The worst part was the noise. The person next to me had to shout to be heard and that didn't work some of the time. The food was fine, but took a long time to get served. The worst part was they had no Jack Daniels even though it is listed on their menu.

This restaurant was found by a traveling companion on the internet. We didn't have a reservation so we sat outside which was the best thing about the restaurant. I am not a big eater so the portion for me was adequate. My friends were very disappointed with theirs. The service was intermittent. We had to hail another server to get some information about the menu. Also, my friend wanted a burger---none were on the menu and none were offered. Since this was our first time we assumed everything offered was on the menu. None of us liked what we ordered. I had the fried green tomatoes with crawfish. Yuck! The sauce tasted like ketchup, the crawfish too fishy, and the fried green tomatoes were lost in it all. Inside was very noisy and had row after row of long tables. Very much a bar atmosphere inside. Won't be going back to this one.

Hidden Gem! Quaint little place in Lenox strip mall area, but they did not disappoint! Our server, J, broke down the menu for us when I told her we had never been. We had the butternut squash ravioli, which was delish. And upon her recommendation, I had the Salmon entree and my husband had the Autumn Salad will grilled salmon. They cooked the salmon to perfection- exactly how we ordered- we like our Salmon Med-rare, and we are hard pressed to find a place that doesnât overcook our salmon. . We finished off sharing the tiramisu. Same quality as the rest of our meal. I wish we lived closer- this would be on the date rotation hands down.

Came here for lunch with a group. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich with side salad. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good, you can tell it was organic chicken by the toughness, the flavor was great but a bit messy and greasy for lunch. The salad was amazing, the fresh in house made lemon vinegar based dressing. A great zesty choice. I will definitely recommend the sandwich again. Others in the group had the lobster roll but I wouldnât recommend this because it was small and tasteless. This is not a Bostonian style lobster roll.

It was a big surprise, brunchperfect for a Saturday. Started with a Scarlett Ginger cocktail, the best drink on their list and Bramllet Farm Trout, excellent dish, the Linguine with pork and Gnocchi dish, all great but two of us order half size and it was more like a food tasting, barely enough to compensate the drinks in our system.

Probably one of my favorite meals ever. Tucked into a bit of a hard to find location just off of Peachtree near Lenox Mall, this place with community tables and pretty loud chatter serves up fantastic combinations of locally sourced food stuffs with fresh off the vine tastes. The cocktails are creative and inventive. We shared a starter of the ensalata mista (super fresh veggies and pickles in a tempura batter) with a roasted japaleno dressing/dip. A bit of a kick to this generous portion of dip and veggies. Hubs had the trout with roasted veggies of all sorts and I had the peach and heirloom tomato salad that was delicious and oh so fresh. Followed that with the lobster bun which I envisioned to have one to two bites of lobster. Oh, contrary...soft Chinese type bun stuffed w/lobster. Ohhhh, heavenly. We shared a cream sickle ice cream topped off w/Mimi macaroons and some kind of crumbled cookie. Attentive service; only complaint was the noise level, but so damn good. To top it off, we had walked to the restaurant and as luck would have it, just as we were getting ready to leave a powerful thunderstorm was passing through. While trying to convince hubs to UBER home, the GM of the restaurant saw us and said he was leaving and would drop us off! What a way to top off a great experience.

We needed a quick craft cocktail before a Saturday evening wedding. She had a Love Potion #19, I had a Manhattan and we enjoyed them. Great list of cocktails. We will definitely return for their dinner menu!

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Hanging up on customers calling with 1 question is not acceptable. I can't imagine what our experience would have been HAD we actually gone there! We had a reservation for 3pm for Mothers Day (today) for 5 people. We noticed on their website its not clear what type of menu they have at 3pm - a snack menu, lunch menu, or brunch. We made this reservation on OpenTable. We gave them a call to ask about the menus - Anna answered the call and basically told us that its best if we come in at 2:55pm (5 minutes before their 3pm menu transition where its just snacks) and place all of our orders before 3pm - over the top grade A advice right there. My girlfriend who was on the phone with her didn't why she made that suggestion since it was slightly unrealistic to pull off. Apparently their normal service ends at 3pm. Why we were allowed to book a 3pm slot on OpenTable for 5 people - who knows? We asked Anna what else we can do - what our options are. We paused after asking - silence. Then Anna hung up. We gave them a call back and spoke with Shawn the manager - explained what happened and how extremely unprofessional that was (we were just looking for a place to celebrate Mothers Day like everyone else) - canceled the reservations. We won't be visiting this establishment - if you're going, good luck!

The craft cocktails were very good. The food was marginal. I wanted to love this place. But I couldn't find much to like. Nothing was bad just not worth going back for except the dessert. I highly recommend drinks and dessert. The chocolate cake and salted peanut ice cream were the best.

I've been following this chef around Atlanta for a number of years and always thought he was pretty talented. I was really excited to see that Drew Van Leuvan had opened up a new restaurant and was excited to try it. I would say that my dining experience was quite mixed. First, we'll talk location and logistics. Itâs convenient to get to and you can park your own car close by. That is a real plus. The dining was casual comfortable. There were long tables that you share with other diners but the seats were not close so you were able to make your own space. Pretty cool concept actually. Two problems.....pretty noisy with nothing much to dampen the sound and, most notably I would add, they kept the front door open which meant the aircon wasn't working. It was actually hotter in the restaurant than outside. If I wanted to sit in 80 degree heat I'd sit outside. That contributed mightily to an uncomfortable dining experience. I asked the hostess if she could keep the doors closed. Wasn't until I brought out my fan and started fanning myself that I think they got the message. OK, other stuff....at one point they burnt something and it kind of filled the restaurant with a smokey smell. That wasnât so cool. OK, so now to the food. It was quite good with one exception. The lobster roll was fabulous, charcuterie board good, pasta dish yummy, fish dish got good reviews....and then there was the chicken. It was overcooked and burnt in more places than it should have been. I can take a little singed but this was just burnt and dry. In my opinion it shouldnât have been served. I didn't finish it. I told the waiter and they kindly took care of me which they didn't need to do. So, what did I think? I think that they have some kinks to work out in the kitchen. I think they need to consider the comfort of diners who are eating inside clearly to get out of the heat, and, while I know restaurants think that noisy places are chic, consider some sort of sound dampening system so that we could hear each other talk a little better. So, now the big question. Would I go back? Actually I would because I think this chef is talented but he didn't seem to be present on a busy Friday night.

Excellent service from Sean the GM and Grace at the bar. Quick service with style and comfort. Friendly and inviting. Thank you!!

My friend kept raving about this place and so we made a point of stopping here. It definitely delivered. A farm to table dining experience with a lot the produce being grown from garden beds next to the outside patio tables. The staff was fun and engaging and really seemed to like being there. Creative and fresh menu choices, every single item cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. The flavors are outstanding. We just moaned with happiness at the hanger steak and ahi tuna steak. Delighted in the Agnolotti. There were ingredients most people have never heard of and and combinations that you wouldn't expect. I look forward to coming back. My friend did me right with this recommendation.

Had an excellent dinner here. The appetizers were great and the pastas. Very nice atmosphere outside as well. Will definitely be going back

The wife and I were in town staying at the Westin next door. Rain was coming and Seven Lamps was close. Noisy it was and the food was just OK. We enjoyed the baby gem salads we both ordered. For entrees I had the trout and she had chicken, both meals the skin side was chard so bad it was not eatable and we had to remove the skin. The chicken needed to trim some of the char off the non skin areas too if you did not want the burnt taste. Veggies were unusual but good.

Food ok, service inconsistant. Popular and loud. In a upscale strip mall, in the corner. Would not go out of way to dine there again.

I am not kidding! This meal AND the service were phenomenal! Fries with Duke's (the best!) mayo, fried okra, stuffed banana pepper, crab cake...and, oh my goodness...the bee pollen ice cream! There were so many things on the menu we wanted to try! We ordered a bottle of Chehalem Pinot Noir and it was outstanding!!! But our absolute favorite part of the meal was Lindsay (or our Anne Hathaway/Jennifer Garner look-alike)! She was the most fabulous server we have ever had! So enthusiastic, attentive and personable! We felt like we were family by the time we left! She was so excited about and proud of the restaurant...she even brought her husband, Chase (the sous chef) over to meet us when he came back in from foraging for mushrooms to be served in the restaurant! How cool is that????

Stopped in for dessert. Ordered all 3 on the menu and loved each one. Jay made a special drink for the 5 year old which brought smiles to her face. Jay's pleasant attitude made the experience memorable. We will be returning.

The roasted potato soup was delicious. It was beautifully presented. The service was excellent. The waiter even swapped out my drink when I found that it was not to my taste. No problem! Perfect place to grab lunch after shopping at Lenox Square area.

We were told this was a great place. And they were right. We've been staying in this area for 9 days so have had plenty of opportunities to sample local eateries. This eatery is tucked away so not the easiest to find straight up. Most of the food is sourced from local suppliers (Paddock to Plate focus). We ended up having share plates - fresh Okra; Chickpea/Garlic Batons with Black Garlic and Lemin Aioli. Fresh oysters and finished off with dessert. Food quality overall was excellent. Lime Eclair great flavour but too big a portion. Frozen Choc Mousse really rich. Service was excellent. Highly recommend. We'd go back again.

The bad , Forgot my oysters, took 10 minutes to get drink order. Men's restroom is a single toilet, may have to share a long table. The Good, food we had was all outstanding, mussels, octopus, ravioli. Cheese plate also good location and great atmosphere

Had a great meal at Seven Lamps. The chicken was outstanding. The cocktails were very tasty and creative. Would come back.

Went there on Sunday evening with friends and Seven Lamps is still at the top of their game. It truly is a great place for dining. The cocktails and food are both exceptional. Seven Lamps has a great outdoor patio. I had the octopus and the local sourced okra and will have these both again. The service was excellent.

Cute, hip, spot with good drinks, friendly service, and decent but not great food. Difficult to find, whether you walk or drive, so allow extra time to locate. Attentive service - we were offered complimentary glasses of champagne to toast my husbands birthday, and he received a complimentary desert with lit candle! He absolutely loved his mussels, which might be the best thing on the menu. Cheese plate was good (homemade spicy pimento cheese was fabulous! Bruschetta not so great). Pasta was rather bland, as was the shrimp and grits appetizer. The Scarlett Ginger cocktail was refreshing and unique. You sit at a long wooden table and it gets very loud - appears to be more of a young folks group party night out place than a date or family night spot, so perhaps the emphasis is on the cocktails rather than the meal itself.

Even though there is loud music when you enter the restaurant, it is a fun place to go to. The pasta dish was very good. The bun of the lobster bun was not baked enough, but the lobster meat was delicious. Good and friendly service.

We were kind of caught in a thunderstorm and ducked into this gem near Lenox Mall. We are from Nashville and had no idea what we were walking into but while we were eating dinner, we felt like we were back at Blackberry Farm in Tennessee. The food was simply amazing from start to finish. Farm to table in everyway.

I was running late and wanted a quick lunch. Seven Lamps was convenient and inviting. Ordered the Mussels with Andouille. The serving was huge, the bread was great and the chunks of sausage in the broth were delicious. My only observation was that the waitstaff didn't seem very busy and amused themselves by talking to one another and sharing cell phone pictures in the middle of the restaurant. Perhaps they expected a larger lunch crowd and were overstaffed, but one would think that employees would take their idle time to a back room away from diners.

Very Bad đ services, Wrong commitments and wrong offers, finally once took money then they not give water also, That type of activities in 7 lamps hotel from Manager position we are facing

Had lunch at Seven Lamps on Mother's Day mainly because it had been awhile since dining here and wanted to make sure they were still serving excellent food. To start with, for those who are unfamiliar with the restaurant, this place is secretly hidden behind Lenox Mall in the back corner of the adjacent shopping complex. To add to the mystery, the signage is very discreet and easy to overlook. That said, it one is in the Buckhead area and up for a little search-and-find, this place is worth the effort. Once you find the restaurant and get seated, don't think the adventure is over as one of the best items served is actually not even on the menu. A couple other reviews have mentioned a 'hamburger' that isn't on the menu; however, the actual name of this delicacy is the half-and-half burger (mainly because of the two types of meat used in the preparation). If you want a good meal then start with the half-and-half burger along with the paprika fries. If you are already aware of the half-and-half, but still want a good sandwich ... try the fried green tomatoes sandwich. While not on the same level as the half-and-half, it is a very good sandwich. The service is always very attentive without being intrusive which is a rarity in many places. They seem to be more interested in ensuring you have a good time than trying to flip tables and herd the next group in which makes for an enjoyable dining experience. This is not to say that if you are looking for a quick bite that you will be forever detained ... you set the place and the wait-staff seem to be happy to oblige. So if you are up for a little searching, you will be pleasantly rewarded after finding Seven Lamps. And 'no' there aren't seven lamps anywhere in front of the building so let your desire guide you instead of looking for the light.

The atmosphere was fun and lively but the food was just okay. We ordered several items to share. It is worth visit.

I went to Seven Lamps with co-workers for dinner and drinks in May. It was an informal business dinner as I was in town for meetings with them. The food was extremely good - everyone at the table loved the french fries. Also the meat and cheese plate was enough for the whole table to share (there was 7 of us). I had the Chicken Breast which was plenty of food and very good but I heard the gnocchi and the other pasta dishes were also extremely good. They had very good drinks (the ginger beer, which was non-alcoholic, was being raved about) and a nice wine selection. We sat outside, which was very nice, and overall had a great time and a very affordable evening.

Awesome little hidden gem near Lenox. The wood fire gives a great flavor to the food. I recommend the chicken panini, but the burger is also great!

Inventive "bistro" style food, fab wine list, great service by adult, professional staff, and not a chain! Small plates and larger meals, terrific steak and pasta but also light options. Pleasant and quiet patio.

Serving a martini in a wine glass ruined this place for me. What kind of place does that? And famous lobster bun - lots of bun, little lobster. Also, very difficult location to find.

I dined at Seven Lamps for lunch with my co-workers and it was really nice. The interior is nice--long tables throughout with a rustic brick wall that adds some nice flair. The service was great and the food was even better. The mussels and open faced tuna melt was very tasty and did not disappoint. I can't wait to go back for dinner with my husband so he can try the 50/50 burger and we can test the cocktails!

Firstly,.........Excellent Service!!!! We had the black pasta with scallops and the monk fish......both were excellent!!! I noticed immediately how fresh the food was. The monk fish was wrapped in a thick prosciutto ......delicious !!!......and our waitress told us that the pasta is made fresh every morning. Great meal....we will be back!

This was the first time we dined at 7 Lamps and enjoyed it. Vinny the manager was very helpful. The mussels were outstanding and as good as I have had in Brussels. One should never miss the cottage fries. The menu has small and large plates. Not a huge menu, but the food was very good. We liked the cafe type atmosphere.

This was a fun and funky restaurant with a great bar and service. The food was creative and the presentation was nice. A bit loud but that adds to the vibe. Hipster waitstaff and open kitchen to see the preparation. Nice mix it up menus and cool atmosphere.

Fresh food! It was great finding this gem while on a recent business trip. Great ambiance, large selection of menu options, friendly & knowledgeable staff. The lobster roll was fabulous! We shared a lot of items family style (lobster roll, meat/cheese tray, fries, chocolate dessert, warm donuts with ice cream). I suggest the sautéed scallops with rice & shrimp. Everything was fresh & flavorful! You may consider making reservations as it isn't a very big place.

I came here while in town for work with the local team. Service was very good. I didn't really care for the menu. This is more of a hipster place and just not my style.

I was excited to go to 7 lamps after looking at the menu on line . The patio area was nice and our waitress was informative but the food was just ok. We went back a second time that day and had the mussels which were horrible, hardly cooked and no flavor. My boyfriends drink took about 15 minutes to reach our table

We enjoyed the mussels, lobster bun, and spaghetti pasta. The service was excellent and the cocktails were delicious. They only downside was the ventilation. The restaurant doesnât air out well and itâs hard to converse across the thick tables. I recommend being seated outside, weather permitted.

I travel to Atlanta often to visit my daughter and the first time I ate at 7 Lamps I swore I would continue to eat there when in the neighborhood. This is my 5th time there and it was excellent. They cange up their menu quite often and it is always really good. This time I ate a fried chicken breast sandwich which was awesome. Their hamburgers are great too. The hummus plate was exceptional

Food was good, just they said int he menu salad , add chicken for $6. When I got my plate was chicken with a bit of salad. My wife had same salad and she got a pretty good size. When the chef passed by and asked him how come plates were different he flat our lied that they are the same. You see the picture and judge. Mine closer is a flat plate, my wifeâs was a bowl.

As a former Atlantan, I was in town for a meeting with a co-worker and was asked to make a dinner recommendation. Using Trip Advisor (my go-to..thanks to all of you) I decided we would try Seven Lamps. We made a reservation via Open Table and were seated immediately. As has been noted, the space between tables was tight and the restaurant was a bit noisy but we able to converse just fine. Our server was friendly and helpful with recommendations and our food came quickly. We both enjoyed our dinners but I thought the trout dish was especially tasty. After our main course, we each had a dessert which we ordered because they were unusual...mine was parsnip cake (think carrot cake) with honey comb and ice cream. I would definitely make a return visit on a future trip to Atlanta.

This restaurant is amazing! I have been twice and will be back again soon. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Buckhead. The food and service are amazing. Also, the seasonal menu changes daily meaning that there is always something new to try!

Booked it for a large group of twelve based on a recommendation from a friend. Interesting little place with an interesting menu with only 4 main course options on the menu. But we didn't try any of them as we just ordered 2 complete sets of all the starters and all the 'small plates' to share. It was a feast, lots of home made charcuterie, artisan cheeses, great tasty little dishes made with meat, fish or vegetables. Love the round fries, I smothered them in the pimento cheese, YUMMY. The place also has a fabulous beer selection and a rather poor wine selection; we way overpaid for a few bottles of rather quaffable but otherwise forgettable non-AOC French Pinot Noir. But overall, left happy, sated and felt good in the morning, no over-stuffing!

The mussels are delicious and a great size portion! Our server Jen made the night with her wealth of knowledge, especially on the bourbon whiskeys!

My friend and I wanted a nice lunch in Buckhead and this place hit almost all the right notes. We started with corn chowder and split the arugula salad with blackberry vinaigrette. Ended with French press coffee. Food was very good, salad dressing especially. Service could not have been better. The only problem, and I hate to say anything negative, was the noise. My friend and I could hardly hear each other. We probably wont go back there because of it. Too bad, because it's a great spot with a nice interior otherwise.

Visited on a weekend trip over Labor Day weekend with wife and two daughters. Cheese board was delicious as was main course. It's my go to place while in Buckhead area. Hidden in a corner of shopping area with nice patio. Can't go wrong. They also have an off-menu burger that is great.

Very comfortable weather and amazing food. I had fresh trout that couldn't have been better if they tried. My husband had the most amazing brisket with pickled bok choy on sour dough accompanied by thick fries...just the perfect combination!!!

This place got recommended by a bar keeper from the AC hotel. Since we were a group of 14 to 16 people, it was not so easy to find a restaurant close by which can accommodate such a large group for a business dinner. When you arrive there you have to walk around the house to get to the entrance. It looks like an old warehouse from the outside but when you get inside it really looks like a hip place/restaurant. We've been greeted very friendly and escorted to the table. The waiter explained us how the menu works and recommended us some starters. The food was amazing and the cocktails are very good. You should try to Moscow Mule while waiting for the main course. Place seems to be busy and well frequented at night. Nice music in the background. Service was great and the waiter checked on us if everything is OK, we even got some starters complementary since he liked the group. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner either as couple or a group. You will not go wrong. Will definitely come back when next time in Atlanta.

The restaurant was celebrating their anniversary and changed their menu for the occasion. They offered a pork BBQ buffet or a few selections from the regular menu. Unfortunately, the buffet fell flat. It was not presented or executed well. Although we arrived at 6:45, I felt as though I was attending a tailgate party, but arrived late. The serving line was unattended and trays were partially covered with foil. The mac and cheese was almost cold, the pork was mostly fat and the serving piece for the vegetable was lying in the food. The highlight of the dinner was trying their house made ginger beer. It showed that they are capable of preparing tasty things, but were taking a night off!

I'd give this a 3.5 rating rather than 4, but the lemoncello puts it to a 4. Had a dinner with colleagues at the restaurant on a weekday evening. The unique and interesting cocktails are incredible and one of the two highlights of this location. The BEST house made lemoncello I have had outside of Italy, an absolute must at the end of the meal. The service is just ok, the server was not organized not enthusiastic. The location is great and the restaurant is on the smaller size and could be described as "quaint" though it is busy and can be on the noisy side. The food is fresh but there are strange fusion combinations. Fresh oysters are nice, though there were a lot of shell pieces in our oysters. Would not recommend any desserts; though they are house made according to the server, the almond ice cream was grainy and the other desserts not super fresh. However, with lemoncello there is no need for any other dessert anyhow.

Met a friend out for dinner and drinks. We made a reservation via open table because we weren't sure how crowded it would be and the seating is communal. The service and food were excellent. Oysters on the half shell and the grilled octopus - oh my! If you're looking for a great night out in the Buckhead/Lenox Mall area I would say this is a must stop!

I review the menu prior to arriving. Totally expecting to order the hot oysters. However to my surprise it was not on the menu tonight. So therefore I ordered carrot cake. Vinny, not being our server, notice that I was only eating dessert he came over and offered a compliment to me for being brave enough to eat cake while my friends had a full meal. I explain to him why, lo and behold 15 minutes later he comes and taps me on my shoulder with wht in his hands? the hot fried oysters! It was not on the menu, however he had the kitchen to cook it special for me. Wonderful guy! Kudos to 7 lamps for having such a great guy in their employment. đ€đŸVinny!

We did not have a reservation so we were seated outside there were heat lamps and a fire pit so it was tolerable . The service was good out waiter was very personable service was quick with water and beverages the food came faster than we expected. I ordered slightly off menu ordering tye gnocchi with the chicken breast the gnocchi was good but the chicken breast was just incredible my associate got the trout off the recommendation of the host and waiter. The trout was huge and my associate really liked his meal too. We will more than likely be back with more of our team while in town.

While visiting Atlanta, I are here twice--once with a large work group for dinner and once with a dear friend for lunch. Both meals were exceptional and the service was top notch. Our group, originally seated next to the kitchen, asked to be moved and staff graciously accommodated the request quickly and with a smile. Highly recommend.

Too bad .. ordered ribs .. they were touted as fall off the bone. NO SUCH LUCK .. could not even separate the meat from the bones with the knife provided. They smelled flavorful but I would need a steak knife to separate the meat from the bone.. The worst part is they were nothing like the waiter stated. Should have been : Very favorable but I will have to give you a steak knife to separate the meat from the bone. Love this place but that was disappointing.

And they can't help it. The atmosphere is great if your on an enthusiastic date or having dinner with friends. The food is amazing and the staff are very engaged and engaging. I would recommend going if you're looking for somewhere that works as a festive venue.

We were looking for a place to eat and found this wonderful restaurant tucked away in a corner of the mall across the road from our hotel. They did not have an outside table, it was a great summers evening, reluctantly sat inside. Great selection of wine, interesting food offerings and very friendly staff.

The 50/50 is not on the menu but it is one amazing burger. We had a table of ten and five of us got the 50/50 burger and each person could not stop talking about how amazing it was. I also tried one of their signature cocktails and it was delicious as well. Someone had the trout and another had the snapper and they both enjoyed theirs as well. Really worth trying.

I had plans to try this restaurant, before, but those plans fell through. So, I decided to take five friends here for a birthday celebration. I made reservations early on Saturday and was able to get a table for six at 7:30 pm. The restaurant is located in the strip center beside Lenox Mall in the opposite corner from Crate and Barrel. It has no valet, but the lot is right in front of the restaurant. We arrived on time and were seated, promptly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we had a table indoors. The decor is very contemporary and hip. We started out with the Jezebel Pinot Nior , which was excellent. For starters, we ordered a charcuterie board with some artisan cheeses. Unfortunately, it took longer than expected to come out, so they brought us some potato fries (on the house), in the meantime. For dinner, I had the hanger steak, which came with green beans and was excellent. Another person in our party had the gnocchi while someone else had the trout and they both enjoyed their meals. The dinners did take longer to come out than expected (as with appetizers), but the staff was very attentive and gave us each an additional free glass of wine to hold us over. For dessert, we had the cashew fudge bar, which was so good. And, they brought it out with a candle on it since one of my friends was celebrating a birthday. Overall, the food did take too long to come out, but the service was very on top on everything and keep up occupied. The place is a bit noisy, so I would not recommend it for a quiet evening or date. A small group is better suited for this place.

We had the mussels, brussel sprouts and hand cut fries and the food, service and drink were amazing.

We had a party of 12, and while they graciously accommodated us, it wasnât ideal seating for good conversation. It does also get loud as they get busier, so the noise didnât help either. Definitely more suited for smaller groups or couples. The service was very good and the food ok. Drinks and appetizer were very enjoyable.

It's not that I had a problem with the food. Though overpriced, it was good, but not spectacular. It's the noise level that is awful. There is absolutely no way to have a conversation in this place. I left with a pounding headache and a vow never to return.

I don't really know what to think about my experience at the Seven Lamps: nothing was awful but nothing was amazing either.I had the duck that was ok-ish except the portion was ridiculous. Dessert was a crepe cake and was better. Service was ok but the girl at the reception was clearly annoyed by her job and spent her time checking her phone while the others where working like mad around. Not enough to make me recommend the place to anyone...

Great food and great service!! The duck was AMAZING!! The bartender is the best! The blueberry pie is heavenly!! đđ Also dine outside and bring your dog. They'll love it too.

Food was good, even the French Fries appetizer was unique. Brussel sprouts side was a pleasant surprise. The seating is a strange community-type long table. You sit at it with other people. Similar to what you would experience in prison. However in prison there is proper spacing (so Iâve heard) between the backs of adjacent tables and chairs. At this restaurant they are too close together making getting to your seat difficult and youâll find yourself having to smash yourself against the table to let people pass. If you eat too much and you are seated in one of these seating traps it will make for an awkward exit. The staff must hate it too. But hey, the 1st lamp of the 7 lamps of architecture is âsacrificeâ and the 7th lamp is âobedienceâ so no complaining about seating comfort. An 8th lamp is needed, âspaceâ for human mobility. Overall food is pretty good, service ok, but seriously these long wooden tables are torture. Introverts stay away.

My wife and I attended dinner at Seven Lamps for my birthday and had a truly fantastic meal. We were greeted with a personalized menu noting my birthday and had a great personalized table service from David. We started with a cheese board and the brussel sprouts, which were highlighted with flavors of curry. By the way, the cheese board was fantastic and included a blueberry infused mustard as well as a pimento cheese my wife simply adored (and she is a self proclaimed pimento cheese expert). We ordered a couple of small plates - the smoked cauliflower was to die for and was remarkable with the romesco sauce. The mussels with the andouille sausage were flavorable, plentiful and very fresh. I also ordered the idaho potato gnocchi with roasted local mushrooms and was very satisified with the flavors. Finally, the chocolate truffle with the peppermint snow just made the meal one to truly remember for quite some while. The space was nice, vibe was very pleasant and plenty of local brews to choose from. Its a must go if you are in Buckhead!

The food overall was amazing. The service was equally as good and the drinks are prepared to perfection. This is a Must stop for visitors as well as a regular stop for locals

My friends and I had a fun experience at Seven Lamps! Loved that the ingredients were local. Food was great as were the cocktails. I was sad they didn't have the pimento cheese hush puppies though. That was the whole reason we went! But the other food was worth it. Great service, too!

When we sat down, we were the only table in the restaurant. The server we had for our group was inattentive and disappeared for long periods of time. We sat for 45 minutes after finishing our meals, waiting for someone to come by and check on us. I eventually had to request the bill from another server. The meals and appetizers we ordered were "okay" but not memorable. The staff we interacted with outside of our waitress were friendly. There were 6 people in our group, and the bill was $300. Knowing this, there are likely many other options that offer better food and service. Unfortunately, I can't recommend 7 Lamps. If you have a mold intolerance, there is black mold visibly growing on all the uninsulated ventilation in the restaurant. I highly recommend avoiding it if you have a weakened immune system.

My fiancé and I went for lunch and it was the epitome of perfection from start to finish. Dishes were tasty, timely, and creative and the service was impeccable. We will be coming here for a long time to come!

My husband and I were shopping at Lenox Mall and decided, since we were in the area, to find a place for dinner. After looking online, my husband suggested Seven Lamps. It was a bit difficult to find because it's in a corner that's hard to see from the road, but we got there a little after they opened. I loved that this restaurant has in-door and outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside and we had David (hope I remember that correctly) as our waiter. He was awesome at sharing information on the restaurant, what they're about and food suggestions. We ended up having the hand cut cottage fries as an appetizer. Oh my goodness! They were so good and you can tell they were freshly cut and not frozen. I've never had fries with mayo before, but this was so good! For our entrees, my husband had the hanger steak and I had the Springer Mountain Farms chicken breast. Wow! Both were super fresh and so good. I LOVED IT! I had never had fried kale over chicken, but the combination of the kale and sweet potatoes was so good. Beyond the food, I liked the eclectic feel of this restaurant. If we're ever back in Atlanta, I'd love to go again!

Was visiting Atlanta and came here for lunch based on a friend's recommendation. It was walking distance from our hotel which was awesome since the parking lot was very full. The décor was super cool. We were seated at a community table but still had plenty of room for our food and drinks to spread out and not feel cramped. Our server (cute, bubbly Asian girl) was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu, especially the way the oysters are farmed. Everything we tried was amazing: oysters on the half shell, Maine mussels & Andouille (our server even brought extra grilled bread for dipping in the wonderful broth without us having to ask!), Idaho potato gnocchi, and the mezzaluna stuffed with braised meat (pork, I think) and kale. We were pretty full after that so no dessert this time. Can't wait to go back!

I came to Seven Lamps for lunch yesterday to have a quick lunch with my cousins. The server was nice, the food ( in my Case steamed mussels) was OK but not amazing. The cappuccino was excellent. We were seated at the table right in front of open entrance door, it is February outside. It felt a bit drafty and I politely asked if itâs possible to close the door or reseat us . The waiter said they couldnât reseat us even though restaurant only had 4 tables being busy, but promised to close the entrance door. The door didnât get closed until we were paying. All this is not the end of the world. The reason for so few stars is as follows: when I shuffled my legs under the table at some point, my jeans around my thigh got caught on something so sharp ( the table legs are steel, and some sort of the table connector was steel and very sharp piece was protruding), that it cut straight through my jeans made a hole. I was very gracious about it and alerted the waiter saying that table needed to be fixed, so no worse accidents or injuries would happen. He apologized and said he would send the manager over. The manager came, and asked if I was ok. I was very polite, said that I was fine except for ruined jeans, and I wasnât injured. She seemed to have a hint of an attitude, she sounded insincere and annoyed, and I didnât want to start demanding some discount in return for ruined jeans, but felt that it was her ( Managerâs) job to offer at least at the very least a discount on the bill, thatâs good business, it should not be a customerâs request. No such thing was offered, not even free coffee. We paid our bill, and left a normal tip, but I will not be returning back to this place, if they have no customer service to offer.

Loved the ambiance on my last visit to this location near Lenox in Buckhead. Tucked right behind the Westin, itâs a great location not directly on a Main Street, which then affords for very comfortable, casual, cool outdoor sitting to supplement the hip indoor seating. Upon first sitting down, I noticed that the service was nice, but spotty, disorganized and rushed. Fortunately, I was able to waive down somebody to help get some help with the menu and a nice bourbon drink infused with a healthy dose of ginger. So cocktails were very creative and tasty. Food was also quite satisfyingly unique. The steamed lobster bun was a mix of a very soft roll with flavoured lobster salad. Although it was good, the lobster was overpowered by he other ingredients in the dish and a little disappointing overall for the price... my suggestion is to use less mayo or whatever is holding together the lobster pieces. My other two dishes - octopus and gnocchi were both excellent. The octopus was grilled and served over a curried chickpea mixture which perfectly balanced the dish. The gnocchi was soft and a little gooey on the inside - clearly homemade by somebody only not more than a day before. Overall great experience with a nice ambiance. Would definitely return for dinner!

First off, The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Dimly lit with warm glow of Edison lights and glass front entrance. Family/community style long wooden tables, a couple of 4 person tables, and super comfortable chairs. We ordered the Open Faced Tuna sandwich which was ample, mild, creamy and delicious. The Tuscan Kale salad with grilled chicken had a lovely combination of ingredients like apple butter and mission figs. It was a very sizeable salad. The house fries are large round cuts. Tender inside and crunchy outside even though a few of them were too thin and hard. Our favorite cocktails were Love Potion #12 and the Scarlett Ginger. Staff and our server were very friendly and unobtrusively attentive. We loved that. We will go back again!

The concierge at my hotel (the Mandarin) suggested Seven Lamps as a good option to enjoy some "craft" foods instead of the usual chain offerings that dot the area. The restaurant has a sizeable patio outside with umbrellas. Inside there are communal style tables in a rather spartanly designed room (concrete floors, plain wood ables and so on). The menu offers a decent variety of choices from fresh oysters, salads, pastas and some very interesting sandwiches. I ordered the butternut squash soup and the pumpkin gnocchi. Unfortunately, they were served at the same time (no clue why restaurants do this!) and the soup, while quite good, had far too much cream plopped on top. The pasta was fresh, had a light pumpkin taste and was served with mushrooms and crispy asiago cheese bits. There are some interesting craft beers available by the bottle, a variety of house cocktails and a modest wine list. The service was okay.

Really nice restaurant, elegant but comfortable, lots of vegetarian options. We enjoyed our dinners - our server was very nice but there were a few issues. He brought an incorrect item for both the appetizer and entree courses. Both times he apologized and corrected. When we were ready to pay and leave he was no where to be found and we eventually just had another server bring our check. Servings are on the small side and prices are on the high end - but not crazy.

Great food and so fresh. The menu changes according to the season and local produce so you can always get a new delicious dish! The Brussels sprouts are amazing! Love the trout! Love the cauliflower! Interesting dessert menu, but havenât tried those yet! You will be seated next to other customers on busy nights, so if you prefer less energy or less âfamily style seatingâ go on a Monday through Thursday night. Otherwise, great energy!

Great restaurant and excellent service - food was a 5 out of 5 but the âketch-upâ dragged the rating down to a 4 as it was awful - everything else including the drinks was really great though!

Delicious shrimp and grits for breakfast, however service was very slow and they were not very busy. Coffee was okay.

We booked here Saturday based upon previous reviews. The food was very good, but that's not the memory we left with.Despite the very small size of the room here, the noise level was unbearable. Speaking to our guests across the table was nearly impossible. On a very warm evening, we arrived at 7:30. After pulling open the door and entering we welcomed the cool air. Well, that lasted about 15 minutes. By the end of our meal, the wait staff were all dripping with sweat. I would have gladly made a contribution to their electric bill if asked.

What an amazing dining experience. Shout out to Kristen the best server I have ever had hands down. Knowledgeable, friendly and just down right awesome. The food was so good!! Flavors delicious and unexpected. Only negative we are visiting and donât know when we will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Loved their cocktail flight, which was such a cool idea. We shared a lot of items and all of them were really good. The restaurant has a really nice vibe, kind of hipster, interesting and really good food.

My wife and I dined here for the first time and were well pleased. Seated at one of the communal tables at 7 and by 8 the place was packed with a young and lively crowd, but not too lively. My hanger steak was one of the best I've ever had and my wife's trout was well prepared. Good small and varied wine list. Service was top notch. We'll return on next visit to Atlanta.

Seven lamps was recommended by our hotel concierge and it was perfect place to have bday dinner for my husband 57th bday.We arrived earlier today from Toronto .We had a great evening, excellent service by David and food was extraordinary...fresh, good portions, local and we highly recommend this place. Very cool atmosphere, lots of young crowed, long communal tables...warm atmosphere. The only one thing I didn't like was that my chair was facing enterance door to the back side of kitchen and you can see lots of action overthere .

Took clients here for a business dinner. Was worried when we got there it was too loud, but the contemporary vibe, and lively feel was absolutely perfect. They serve wonderful, unique cocktails (try the slush), tapas and also full entrees. We did small plates of pasta, charcuterie, and salads -- the flavors were outstanding. Would definitely entertain clients here again.

Went with two friends about 5:30 on a Saturday. Ate indoors. The restaurant was hot, which wasn't fun, and smelled like smoked meat which wasn't bad. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other servers were talking so loudly amongst themselves it was startling. The music was loud and so was the prep noise so it was hard to talk. We ordered cocktails and a charcuterie plate. Cocktails never arrived. One of us went to the bar to ask about them and they made them promptly. Bartender was honest enough to admit she forgot. We ordered a second round which didn't taste like the first ones made. I thought they'd given us a different drink. They tried to fix it but the second one was not good. Our server wanted us to be happy but we were in a hurry and didn't have time to have yet another cocktails sent out. The charcuterie plate was good. Nothing spectacular but it was fine. With as many places as there are to go in this area by Lenox/Phipps I wouldn't go back here any time soon.

On trend southern influenced farm to table. We went at night and it is loud and dark. Great staff and service. Had a dedicated hipster mixologist at a tiny bar.

The hostess promptly greeted us and sat us at our table. We could barely hear one another. Our server Nikki helped us move to a corner table in the hopes it was less noisy - warning this is a LOUD restaurant. And it was hot - the open kitchen just fills the restaurant with its heat. Nikki took care of us for drinks, appetizers and offered up feedback on dishes. The Pork Tortellini was good, other's had trout, the black spaghetti left that guest with no taste and bland. Pecan pie was good. Nikki was great and was even our photographer as our night wore down. I think it is a nice restaurant - just the air needs to be worked on and noise.

Dinner for 4 on weeknight. Appetizers were artisan cheese tray and fried okra. Both excellent. Boss and I went with 2 small plates, tomato and peach salad and buffalo oysters. Salad ok, oysters excellent. One in my party ordered well done hanger steak....no comment. Other ordered the trout and was not overwhelmed. Servers were good. Good 4 star overall.

This was recommended by clerk at West Elm, and it was indeed fabulous! Service was great, dining outside in February was decadent, and the lobster roll was the.best.ever. EVER.

Had the hanger steak with fingerling potatoes. The hanger steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. Great vegetables and potatoes very tasty. Generous portion. Overall great service, decent price point and a good spot for casual and business casual

Drop in here for dinner after shopping at Lennox or Phipps. The restaurant is unpretentious, the menu limited but everything that we have selected has been good, and the service is discrete, polite and efficient. Its great eating on the terrace on a warm Atlanta evening. Parking is free. Strongly recommended

Visited on a cool weekday night, and sat outside near the fire pit. This was probably better for us since it was extremely loud inside in the crowded dining room. We shared an appetizer of mussels, then each got a lobster sandwich at the suggestion of our server. The mussels were seasoned in a spicy brew (with sausage crumbles); once you we're accustomed to the spice , they were quite tasty. The lobster roll, though, was a soft pita stuffed with large chunks of succulent lobster - yum!

Came here on a whim (and made a reservation), and am glad we did. We were seated outdoors, which was lovely, and our server (Elena) was helpful and attentive. The cuisine here is a unique mix of southern + new american + farm-to-table, so our meal included cornmeal crusted fiddlehead ferns with blue cheese and hot sauce, a delicious pasta with english peas and brown butter and the signature lobster bun, which was texturally amazing. highly recommend to anyone, particularly out-of-towners/new yorkers looking for high quality food in ATL.

A great experience and worth your time to check it out. It was a group of 4 and we all got something different to try the food. Everything was top notch but I have to say the Gnocchi was the favorite. Everything is made there which means the menu changes daily....So you have to keep going back to sample everything. The drinks and bar was just as tasty and the staff were well represented and attentive. I would consider this a well kept secret. And donât forget the âsecret burgerâ because it looked amazing. Must try this next time.

This week I'm in Atlanta, and I got to try out a relatively new dinner spot called "Seven Lamps." on the night I visited it was quite busy and seating was at a premium, but WOW! what terrific food and superb service. This restaurant definitely caters to the "Trendy Side" but it really earns it's points as a cultured, mature eatery. The menu was imaginative and had many small dishes for those who like to try a little bit of everything, On this occasion I tried some of their terrific oysters and a marvelous Duck Confit, which by the way as traditional as any I've enjoyed in France. Seven Lamps is a true gem and a fun, engaging new offering in the Atlanta area.

Confusing menu and confusing flavors. Iâve had plenty of fusion in my life but some of these dishes were straight up bad. We had a pasta dish that was served like enchiladas but was stuffed with bbq pork and covered with marinara sauce. We also had a bland beet salad... not horrible but really boring and I love beets. The chicken dish was underwhelming and badly seasoned. We were visiting Atlanta and had read great reviews but just canât recommend it. $100 dinner for two was a total flop.

We went to eat at Seven Lamps in April 2018, and really enjoyed it. With interesting menu items like Fiddlehead fern sprouts and pickled mustard seeds, the menu seemed intimidating at first, but everything was delicious. A full bar, and lively atmosphere really made for an interesting dining experience. Don't come here if you want quiet, it is very loud inside. They have a nice outdoor sitting area with a propane fire pit. Service was great.

This was my first visit to Seven Lamps and I had a wonderful Dinner. Menu changes daily. Proper portions. Great Wine selections. "Trendy" atmosphere. I'm usually not all about trendy but Seven Lamps seemed "hip" without being too pretentious.

Went here with a co-worker one evening at the recommendation of the hotel we are staying at. The woman at the front was totally unengaged and bored - with us, her job, and the people that came after us. I felt like I shouldn't expect to have a table, food, or even be spoken to. Which is weird. I did have an awesome cocktail. Followed by charcuterie and a decent beet salad which we shared. And then I had gnocchi. And it was awful. I couldn't finish it. I tried a few bites and it was grainy. Not the pillows of potato goodness that I have grown accustomed to after living near the Northend of Boston for over a decade. And this made me sad. But not as sad as having a server not notice that I hadn't really touched my food. I mean it's dark so maybe he couldn't see but he took away a plate (really it was a shallow bowl) filled with pasta and didn't say a word. My coworker had fish and thought it was pretty good but nothing to rave about. Next time, if there is a next time, I'll just get snacks and cocktails.

Nothing short of amazing. For your first visit it's vey hard to find. When your GPS takes you into the parking lot look for Tootsies, and 7 lamps is tucked in the corner right next to it. Absolutely amazing fresh food and even a vegan choice or two. Try the muscles. Out of this world. Call ahead because they do a thriving business. Service was superb. Prices were reasonable for the quality of food.

Great location- a bit hard to find tucked away next to the Lenox mall. Vibe is organic/ locally sourced/hip. Cocktails are made by mixologists with beards and plaid shirts. Interior is as expected: chalkboard/industrial lighting with Edison bulbs/rough wood/exposed kitchen/ Jars of food on shelves/dark. Food is good / started with fried okra- fried whole in cornmeal. Duck was extremely tender and some of the best ever. Pimento cheese on the cheese platter was exceptional.

Love Seven Lamps. Even though itâs in a strip mall itâs easily the coolest fresh foodie in the area with stellar service and creative selections. Have to go with the Mussels and also Charcuterie plate.

We enjoyed a Wednesday evening dinner here. No parking challenges. Pm B served us very well all evening-kudos to her. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts for starters- delicious. I had the salmon that was grilled to perfection- medium- nice and moist. My wife had the strawberry and arugula salad - fantastic. Nice wine list. Will come back if we are in town again.

Fresh and good food-- smallish place with great service and friendly waiters. Within walking distance of Lenox Mall and the Westin.

My friend and I were walking thru the shopping center and came across this restaurant. Decided to have a light lunch. We shared a green and turnip salad (the dressing was delicious), home made fries, and a medley of foraged wild mushrooms. Everything was delicious. We sat outside at small round tables with white tablecloths. Service was good, but not outstanding, but the food was excellent.

Enjoyed a friendly waitstaff and a peaceful vibe for lunch over the holidays. Had a BLT while my wife enjoyed a tasty salad- she added the grilled chicken, which was aggressively priced at an additional $9 but it was REALLY good. To note, I enjoyed the bread and avocado on the BLT (aioli was great!), and I'll say that it was actually kind of a relief that they didn't try to compensate for the price by piling on the bacon. Just because I'm paying $10+ for a BLT doesn't always mean I want 2 lbs of swine between the bread. A nice, light lunch.

Excellent - exceeded our expectations. My son and I walked over from Courtyard Buckhead and were thrilled to discover a hidden treasure. We were welcomed at the door, seated in a courtyard next to herbs and offered to sample some charcuterie while we decided what we wanted to eat. Loved the yellowtail poke - satisfied my sushi craving. I promise that we will be back!

Great little restaurant near the Lenox Mall. Simple tables and bar...nothing fancy but the food is awesome. The beet salad was delicious and large enough to be a whole meal. Celery root soup was so creamy and plentiful too. The staff was very professional and yet very like family. This was a nice break from shopping without eating in a mall food court.

Seven Lamps is in the Around Lenox Shopping Center. It truly is a hidden gem of Atlanta restaurants. It has great sides and they make the best grilled cheese sandwich. The hamburger is not on the meal but just ask. They have a wonderful outdoor patio and great cocktails. The service is excellent. If near Lenox Shooping Center next to check it out.
Lenox Gem !!!
In between Crate and barrel and West Elm, we found a culinary gem ! First of all the outdoor atmosphere makes you forget where you are. It is peaceful, cosy: a little terrasse in Europe, quiet and elegant. Then we met Alijah. He attended our table being attentive but not invasive. He knows his dishes. Then we met the flamboyant Viny. The restaurant is at the image of Viny, or reverse : authentic, welcoming, professional and savourous. Viny likes hospitality, his job: he is a gourmet before anything else ! Food ? Well ! The hanger steak was so close to my dad's Sunday "gigot" that I cannot describe how tasty it was, you have to go try it. Garlicky, salty but light and not greasy wooo. Succulent would be the right word. A little rose bandol, nice easy country listening in the background: seven lamps is definetely a MUST try. It is already on our favs! A delight for the palate in a protected heaven. Thank you to the team and kitchen
