I’d heard about Shake Shack (one is new in north Texas) so I thought I’d give it a try here in Austin. It wasn’t exceptionally crowded on a Saturday.evening, but it took 25 minutes from placing my order to getting a single burger, fries, and a shake. Fries were ordinary frozen crinkle cut and the hamburger was ordinary compared to the higher end hamburger restaurants.

We wanted something easy, and it was. Walked over from the Archer Hotel....Shake Shack was perfect for what we were looking for.

Shake Shack serves delicious burgers, and fries in many ways. Their crinkle fries are some of the best I’ve had! What stands out are their shakes! They use local flavors to design a culinary adventure in the form of a tasty milk shake.

friendly staff made sure we knew of their locations in our home city and give us coupons good for discounts and free shakes when we return home. Great location, clean, nice area.

Friendly gal who took my order said I didn't have to choose between the peanut butter shake and the chocolate shake - she let me get peanut butter chocolate - and it was To Die For!!! A must try!!! I didn't have time for anything else, and wasn't hungry enough, but y gotta go there - even if just for a shake.

I had the smoke house burger the meat was fresh a bit small for and $8 burger frys wrinkle cut not sure if frozen or fresh cut . My wife had chicken sandwich she said meat was fresh and tender will seasoned. And s strawberry custard shake , nice atmosphere but a bit pricey.

I really like the burgers, basic cheeseburger for me. You can also order it without a bun and it's wrapped in lettuce. Super good fries, crispy and crinkle cut. The shakes are think and tasty!

Have always heard great things about this place. The food was good, although I thought the burgers were fairly small. Overall good experience.

I don’t get all the hype. I had an overpriced burger and shake. The burger was nothing special. I could get same burger at Mighty Fine or P Terrys. The shake was bland. A P Terry’s or Chick-fil-A shake is better. Just not sure what the draw is

Good burger. I had the single applewood cheeseburger and fries. Burger was tasty. Place is food for family. It has a lot of TV's as well with sports tuned on them. Ill be back.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and the food was very good but a little slow. The place was clean and the woman taking orders was very friendly and knowledgable!

This was just a burger joint; nothing extravagant or unusual. The burgers were average, nothing special.

Ate here for the first time EVER! I heard Shake Shack is the best and I had to try! I had the Shack Burger, (everything on it), their crinkle cut fries which were fresh, hot and salted just right! I finished it off w/a Uchi concrete. If you've never had a Shake Shack burger, you must try it at least once in your life!

Not really impressed, burger was smaller than expected, but was very good. Kinda over priced for what you get.shakes were decent, fries not so good vey small portion for the price.

Yesterday, my daughter and I visited Shake Shack. We ordered fries and one milk shake, thinking it would be fast. Only a few people were in the restaurant, while four people were cooking. French fries seemed to be made or cooking. Yet it took 15 minutes to get our order. 4 people, 15 minute wait. The fries were good, but not worth the lengthy wait or the price. The two items cost $8.96! Other fast-food places are better, faster, and cheaper.

Stopped for lunch before heading to the airport, and what really impressed me was that they did list the calories for the various burgers on their menu (something I hope/expect from larger chains; I didn't realize this was a chain when we walked in). Provided us a wireless buzzer to let us know when food was ready (which keeps the shouting down), and all of our food was equally hot/fresh. The Smoke Shack burger was really delicious. I kinda regret not getting a shake, but others in our group who did were very happy with them. Would definitely return if in the area!

The order taker convinced me to try a Shake Burger and a Shake since it was my first time here. I was disappointed with both. The burger was soggy and NOT DONE. I asked for plain burger, got one with cheese. The shake looked good, but when it came it didn't look like the picture - no WHIP. I asked if whip came with it, and she said only if you ask. Why do you show the picture of a shake with WHIP if it doesn't come with it? On a scale of 1-10, it was a 2. Flavor-less, obviously made with chocolate ice cream (my pet peeve of shakes - it's a shortcut). So I would NOT go back. In and Out or Mighty Fine are MUCH better!

Wonderful! The only reason I didn't give this the full five points is because the location is in Macy's parking lot, and we would have prefered a larger patio with a better view and less noise. Otherwise, this place is one of our favorites!

The man taking orders at the counter was so nice. I tried to leave a tip, but he told me "they're moving away from that." If only the burger had been as good as the service. I ordered the special "Wagyu ATX" burger that wasn't all that great. I should have driven a mile or so down Burnet and gotten a really good burger from a local business - at Waterloo Ice House. I'm giving this Shake Shack 3 stars, based on 5 star service and 2 star food.

Coming from CA where Shake Shack lines are ridiculous, we were pleasantly surprised to find no line and the same great food!

Decent burgers and shakes but no better than In 'N out at twice the price. Excellent shakes, fries average.

In truth we really just ordered the cheese fries, and regular fries. What we originally wanted they were out of, and sadly we really wanted a cup of coffee but they HAD NO COFFEE!

We were excited to find a Shake Shack within walking distance of out hotel! We often visit the one in New Jersey. The food here is the same, and the best, best, best thing is the frozen custard which is so rich and smooth and tastes so good that you leave in a state of bliss!

Awesome burger! The buns are deliciously buttery and they cooked our meat to order. Perfect amount of toppings and the cheese melted perfectly into our patties. The French fries are crinkle cut and not greasy at all. I mean NOT AT All! Just crispy golden goodness! A new favorite burger place for us.

The burgers at this place are outstanding but the shakes are even better! The custard concretes are really good. Great location!

My friends and I decided to come in for a late lunch and got burgers fries and shakes! I got a cheeseburger on gluten free with fries and a chocolate shake, and let me just say I was in HEAVEN! The burger was so good, maybe even the best I have ever had! I love the special sauce on it! The shake was amazing too! Especially when you dip your furs in it!! I also loved the ping pong table outside and how friendly and fun the staff were! 13/10 love this place!!!!!!

Shake Shack has a good formula. I like their burgers. The meat itself is comparable to smash brothers (much cheaper) but their bread and fries are better. They have a wide array of frozen treats including shakes and concretes and are trendy and cool. I go whenever I can. Their new chicken sandwich is excellent.

I was greeted by Dominique with her bubbly personality made my ordering experience a joy. She helped me decide between a salt carmel or black and white shake. I thought I'd try something different from my usual awesome coffee shake. The black and white was good but not as good as the coffee shake. I love shake shack so much so I always get the same thing. The shake stack is awesome and I don't know if there is anything else on the menu because I can't get away from wanting the shake stack sandwich.

If you're going to knowingly eat a burger, then you can't do any better, quality- or taste-wise than the Shack. Sure, it's a burger, but a very good quality burger. Partner it with their hot fries and one of their custard based shakes, and you've got an everyman's well rounded, albeit somewhat premium priced, meal. Seriously tasty stuff, folks. Just be prepared to joust for a parking space.

Went to The Domain for a day of shopping and tried Shake Shack for the first time. The burgers were great! Nice menu selection. I also love that they offered a dog menu and are dog friendly on the patio with bowls of water.

With my family of 3, our meal cost right at $50. We had two hamburgers and one spicy chicken burger, 3 orders of fries (two with cheese), drinks and two shakes-strawberry and coffee. The spicy chicken burger came with slaw and a pickle on it. Taste was there but bun was soggy and very small. Just a little bit over the size of a slider. My husband and son had hamburgers. Same small, soggy buns. The French fries were very run of the mill, fresh out of the freezer variety with a tasteless cheese sauce on top. Even the shakes were basically small and tasteless. The only enjoyment was playing the corn-hole toss game outside. Couldn't really play on the ping pong table because it was broken in half and leaning. Would not recommend to anyone.

After shopping Lunch, Very expensive for this type of food. $23 PLUS FOR 1 DRINK, 1 FRIES, 2 Burgers, Tables not wiped down, most not cleared from previous customers. Mens bathroom not clean, toilets and sink area a mess. The staff was alright, not very enthusiastic. Doubt we'll be back.

Looking for a good burger with fries and a great shake to wash it down with? Shake Shack at the Domain is a great location. It provides the perfect venue to do some shopping and unwind while the kids play bocce ball. They are also very community minded and support local charities. This location gives back 5% of sales from the Uchi-koncrete to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area!

The shakes are great for a late night snack. Staying at the Westin, this is a nice place since they stay open late!

So the food was good not great! It was kinda expensive! The line was long but they moved things along quickly. The cashier was rude. The food came up in a decent amount of time.

This is our 2nd trip to a Shake shack and great food for the kids. Typical burger, fries and shake menu but with flare. Service was quick and food was tasty. Lots of outdoor tables and activities for kids. Thick custard and great flavors that change weekly.

Burgers are made fresh, very hot and juicy. Smaller than I expected but that is a good thing. Leaves room for fries. Fries are crinkle cut and crispy on the outside. We ended our meal with a shake. Thick and creamy, salted caramel was delicious. I was so full!

Ate here last weekend, there are a couple of Shake Shacks in the Austin area. My two sons live in Austin and eat there quite often, my wife and I went with our sons this weekend to try out something new. The burgers and hot dogs are good, but we seemed to enjoy the fries a little more than the main dish,. We did not try the shakes but sons really brag on them. Good parking, and close to the Domain shopping area. Median priced.

This was my first visit to this location. I ordered the Hamburger with sweet tea. The burger was hot, fresh, and tasty with a delicious bun. However, this was a tiny burger for the price, I'd say barely appetizer size. I can get a much bigger burger that's just as good if not better at a competitor cheaper. The tea was sweet & tasty but not self-serve. The service was slow and friendly. The prices are too high for the amount of food you get. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Excellent service that is consistent with the other location in town. This location gets quite busy since it is located in The Domain. Highly recommend splurging on a custard concrete. All the flavors are perfecto. Calories don't count so enjoy ;)

Maybe Shake Shack just isnt my cup of tea. The burger was small and left a lot to be desired. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Luke's Inside Out and get a burger from those guys, maybe even grab drink at Gibson while you wait

Walked for lunch from Lone Star Court. Good made to order burgers. Appropriate for kids. Able to get food quickly even at Saturday lunch.

I went here with decent expectations but was quickly met with reality. The food was average and overpriced. The burger was small and overpriced. There was nothing that really stood out. I'd place it at the same level as In and Out, Hat Creek, Mighty Fine...in fact as far as taste, Mighty Fine is much better and fresher. I thought maybe a shake would be a saving grace for the meal but nope. Just another shake...I'd go as far to say that a Chick-fil-A shake was better and less expensive. Cool atmosphere but sub-par food

Thugs wax my first time in Shake Shack, it was a wonderful experience. Place is amazingly clean! You can Sea how your food is being prepared as you order it. The milk Shakes are very special and thick, they taster very delicious. The burgers are very juicy and full of flavors. The fries were little on the old side. For sure a place to enjoy a good meal.

$6 for a chocolate shake seemed a bit pricey, especially given its size. It was flavorful, but think I'd still go to Culvers or another custard stand to get more for my money.

Good burgers and clean place. Nothing beyond that. Always a good option that never lets you down. It has a good parking and it’s close to nice stores

They wrote a book on hamburgers but it's also a great place for everyone - young and old, family, lovers or singles. On the menu you will find hamburgers of course, various ways dogs, shakes (peanut butter my favorite), fries with cheese and bacon, drinks - OMG lemonade, beers (ale), wine and kid favorites. The place is casual and fun (there's a ping pong outside). Enjoy eating and hanging out!!

Went for lunch on a Friday. Not too long of a line. Expensive burger that looks like, presented like, and size of an In & Out Burger. Mine had a stuffed cheese portabello mushroom in it too. The special of the day drink and shakes are in a small cup and expensive too. Crinkle cut fries that were crunchy. I'd go back if someone else were buying:)

My daughter and I ended up here after deciding on a more casual place to eat. I'm from Bend, Oregon. We were pleasantly surprised with the great service and friendly staff! Special thanks and shout out to Adam Fujawa, who treated us to free ice cream and talked with us about snowboarding!

Been here a few times. It relatively quick, which is nice. I had the cookies and cream milkshake and LOVED it. However, I wasn't pleased when I went back about 2-3 weeks later and they told me they no longer had cookies and cream milkshakes. Seemed a bit strange to me that a place which primarily serves burgers and shakes, that they would get rid of the cookies and cream flavor. So instead I got a black and white milkshake. Very disappointed. It definitely was not a standard black and white milkshake. Not sure if the person knew how to make one, but it was all chocolate and I wasn't a fan. The bacon cheese burger I ordered was good, but they forgot the cheese sauce, so they gave me a side of the sauce. I actually preferred that because I could dip my fries into the sauce. As for the fries, I wasn't a huge fan. I like my fries to be really crispy and these were not. Hoping the next time I go there they will have cookies and cream back on their menu!

This is a good burger restaurant. Burgers were fresh and dressed to order. The french fries were also good.

It is a cute place and novel. Don't have smaller portions. The bun was really fresh. I got a hotdog, but they didn't have chili and no sweet relish. Hamburger was seasoned well. It is good, but a little pricy for the portions. The shake was good, but not over the top. Regular trendy hamburger joint.

The friend, I was with, told me there was lots of hype about this place. I ordered a cheeseburger and a chocolate shake. At $11.00, I thought the price wqas a little high. The burger was overdone and had no seasonings. I actually thought the meat tasted rancid. The shake was ok.

I have been to Shake Shack in the Domain and the place is really nice with a outdoor area with a ping pong table and some beach chairs. The food, as always, is consistently decent although the cheese fries had almost no cheese. The service was bad... I ordered and waited for a long long time while my food was on the counter because they gave me a wrong "announcer". When I approached the counter to ask they just said to me about the mistake and looked at the other side. no excuses, nothing. I do believe that a burger joint like that should care more about their customers. There are better places in town to go and you are much better served.

Had heard so much about this chain, I made an effort to try it. Expensive for a very small burger, order of fries, and a small malt -- $16.91 with tax. WOW! A very small burger - the smoke shack burger with bacon and Shack Sauce. Good flavor but a soggy bun that fell apart before I could finish. Discomfort from a large piece of bone in the meat. French fries appeared to be processed frozen potatoes. Too bad at $2.99 (before tax.) Very small chocolate malt. Shakes are $5.29 (before tax) with a $0.50 surcharge for malt. Not very much chocolate flavor. Tasted good but there are much better burgers, fries, and malts in Austin and at a much lower price.

I so much wanted to love this place. The outside is very hip, as is the interior. Lots of millennials and hipsters in there. The burger had good bacon on it but was a little mushy on the end. The fries tasted like Ore Ida -crinkle cut-french fries, I could do better. The shake was a bit more liquid than I like them. For $17 I would expect more. Sorry, it's just not worth the price. Not for me.

Nice selection of burgers, chicken, and mushroom sandwiches. Very busy location with a very helpful friendly staff. Good quality products. Seating inside and outside of the restaurant. Because of the location (The Domain, Austin), a lot of people come out for a walk with their dogs and eat outside. There is a limited play area for children in part of the outside dining area.

This was our first time at Shake Shack and now I know what all the fuss is about. The food was fantastic and loved the salted caramel shake. Service was great. Only suggestion is to have blinds on both sides to stop the afternoon sun from coming in especially off the glare from the hotel across the street.

This is a branch of Shake Shack on S. Lamar. You order from the menu on the wall and pick it up yourself when your buzzer vibrates. We found it clean and inviting with very cheerful, friendly staff. The burgers were a good size, definitely made to order and were very good if a tad on the greasy side. Fries were 'extruded' from potato mash rather than cut from actual potatoes, but were ok. Everything was hot when served. Shakes were delicious...a little over-sweet for me but not for my husband. The interior was clean and attractive and comfortable. Parking is very convenient and there's plenty of it. Not particularly cheap for a burger place but reasonable.

The Shake Shack's many NYC locations are always crowded. In Austin's "Domain" location we walked right in. One of us had a shake, the other frozen dessert. Both hit the spot.

Will definitely go back to Shake Shack again. Their burgers, fries and milkshakes were delicious and all the staff were friendly!

Stayed at the Westin. Walked across the street and had a great burger and local beer combo. All good and easy right before heading to the big game.

This place is very similar to Hopdoddy's. The burgers are on the smallish size but are very tasty. The seating has an upscale fast food establishment feel. It is a good place for a $10 lunch but I am not sure it is fun for much else. The burger and fries were good and I might go back if it was convenient but it is not good enough for me to go out of my way to eat there.

The food portions are small and have cute names. I had a very expensive burger and ice cream. The burgers are cooked "medium" so they are pink on the inside. I sent mine back and asked for another one cooked "well done". The ice cream dessert was tasty. But again, it was a small portion. I will not eat there again or recommend it to my friends.

Ok, so I've been on Instagram and I would see people on the east coast commenting about Shake Shack. I figured...well can it really be that good???? Well...YES IT IS!! The burgers are small but the meat is thick..thicker than In and Out Burger and it's more flavorful. The custard...OMG!!!! DIVINE!!!! The atmosphere is casual and the outdoor patio w/ ping pong tables and games is something to experience.!! LOVE THIS SPOT

Walked over to Shake Shack at Domain for my first visit. Very friendly gal took my order. Ordered bacon cheese burger and was very happy. Nice beef, melted cheese and fresh lettuce & tomatoes. Order fries, which were crinkles. I have never been a big fan of crinkle fries, but they these were fine. IMO, there is no atmosphere, but lots of TV screens. I'll go back. Didn't need a shake, but they looked good. Across the narrow street was a huge Macy's parking lot for very easy access to Shake Shack.

I visited Shake Shack this evening with a group of four friends. We were able to order quickly despite it being Saturday night about 5:30. I ordered a double cheeseburger (I forgot which one specifically) with a side of fries. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger and shared my fries. My burger was fanfreakintastic and the fries were crisp. The only downside was it was about $21.00 (2 burgers, 1 orders of fries and 2 waters) and we both left sort of hungry and actually ate again a few hours later. I will definitely visit Shake Shack again and go back with friends.

I purchased the shroom burger and it was oh so delicious. The only improvement i would wish to see, is the size of the burger.

We only ordered a shake and a concrete mixer and thought while it was tasty, it was overpriced and nothing to rave about. Haven't tried the burger yet, which looked good. Not a fan of crinkle cut fries so I think I'll skip those. We'll be back for a burger, for sure (will get our dessert elsewhere, though).

ShakeBurger priced at $5.29 Is very tasty. Bun is good. Ask for free onion slices and pickles in addition to the lettuce and tomatoes cheese and Shake Sauce it comes with. Size is not large. Crinkle cut fries are not greasy and crisp. The chocolate custard ice cream is fabulous - worth a trip back. Efficient staff. Clean restaurant.

Stopped by to grab a must have burger and compare to the original in New York City. Mmmmmmmm, just as good, so heavenly! Mary was the waitress working the dining room and she was awesome! Super friendly and sweet!

The burgers were amazing. The ambience was very casual and the staff was polite and very thorough and competent. Great for a casual dining experience.

I am not vegan but wanted a change. I tried and loved the mushroom burger, it was terrific and a nice option to the veggie burger. Their fries are super and I liked the shack sauce.

Love me some Shake Shack. This is the best fast food/fast casual burger. We cannot get enough of the burger, fries and custard shakes. We can never pass a location without stopping in.

their single patty burger is almost $6 alone and its about equivalent size of one you get at McDonalds in a kids meal and really tasted about the same as you would get at McD. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. For 2 singles, one order of fries and 1 large drink $18!

The burger and fries were very good. The place was packed. Constant flow of customers were coming in

This restaurant is located in the Domain shopping area. From the outside to the interior, it has a very modern and upscale feel. The tables are actually made from old bowling alleys! The staff turned us off a little, especially the unfriendly lady with a huge nose ring. I went up to the counter to ask for a refill on my sweet tea, she looked at me up and down then handed me my cup with tea running down the sides! The hamburgers and hot dogs were really nothing special but the buns were nice and soft. Everything was on the small side and the shakes were almost $6.00! Since there are so many hamburger places in the area, don't think we will be back anytime soon.

The fries were extra good. The burger was average. Had the Smoke Shack with fries and a 50/50 (half lemonade and half tea). Be ready to pay for this combo - pricey.

Burger patties is very juicy fresh, shake are just right sweetness and thickness ! Easy parking ! Line wasn't that long when we get there around 11:30am on Sat.

I had eaten at the south Austin location and was unimpressed. I was out at the Domain and it was lunch time and there was a new Shake Shack. Being a lover of hamburgers I thought I would give it another chance. I ordered a single burger with the lettuce, tomato and onion option, fries and ice tea. Bill came to over $13. That's crazy. Not nearly as good as Roaring Fork on the high end (for the same price) and compared more to Whataburger on the low end, but not nearly as large and a lot more expensive. Also, not a fan of the fries. Did I mention I had a long wait for this disappointment even though there was no line.

It had been 6 years since I've had a burger from the Shake Shack. My last time was in New York and the taste was just as good then as it was now. It can get pricey but it's worth every penny. Hopefully it won't be another 6 years between visits.

I just wasn't impressed with this place. I'm a big burger fan and I had heard that this place was pretty good. The burger was small and the prices were on the high side. I'll pay a little more for a good burger but it just wasn't good in my opinion.

Was a great atmosphere very nice staff and good food. I read some reviews so far but I don't agree with the ones that say it was a bad experience mine was very good

The only way they can treat customers gluten free is a lettuce wrapped burger. You'd think by now with the food allergy craze they would carry a gluten free bun but who knows maybe there market for gluten free is null. Fries are cooked in shared oil, so that is a negative. The lettuce wrap shake shack burger was great tasting, however be prepared to order more than one bc there is no bun to fill you up with leaving you hungry for more, and without fries...empty space. Careful on ordering the double patty as it gets a little sloppy, still very tasty though. I'd definitely stop by again although I'd rather choose a burger joint that had at the min gluten free buns.

I went here ahile back and was not that impressed. I have been to locations in other cities and they were great but this one missed the mark. The food was average but the wait time was pretty bad almost 20 minutes for my order

We went to the Shake Shack for my sister-in-law's birthday. Don't get me wrong, this is only one step above fast food, but she felt like a good burger with the grandkids. The burgers & fries are great! They have assorted ice creams for dessert. YUM-O!

I felt that the burgers here are overrated. The buns tasted better than the meat and do not bother ordering the fries. Anyway, good location for a quick bite.

We ate at a Shake Shack in Austin and loved it. The burgers and fries were really good but my favorite was the flat hot dogs. They were fabulous. They cooked them just like we did when I was a kid. Will definitely eat there again. Kid friendly and something for everyone.

... and those who wish they were able to. The multiple overhead TVs, the clean, glass-walled dining room, and the outdoor picnic and game area help create a fun, upscale ambiance. The Shack Meister Ale is very refreshing. However, the burgers are small, the fries and hot dogs are just OK, and the wait times are long. We can buy more for less at a number of other burger joints or restaurants in Austin without sacrificing much if any quality. All that said, we did not try the frozen custard ... which some folks say is very tasty.

Across the street from the Westin where we were staying. I requested lettuce wrap on their chicken breast sandwich. It was tasty and fair price ($6.50). You order at the counter and get your food when your order is ready.

Very good burgers and shakes. Lots of options. Hummmmmmmm. I would go back again and try other appealing offerings.

Chain Burger Joint, it was good, expected, good price good service, good flavor, I enjoyed the burger

Last time I had Shake Shack was in December 2015 in New York. I must say the burger still tastes the same way I remember it! Love the look of this building and we ate outside that day. Really nice weather and location that day.

I normally have to stop and In and Out when in Austin. But now its going to have to be Shake Shack. My wife and I split the Shack Chicken and a burger... ok, 2 times in 2 days.

Happy to be reminded of the flavors from original NY location, in the Live Music Capital of the World : ). Most in our group ordered a burger, but a couple of us tried the new Chickn' Shack Sandwich ...100% all-natural & antibiotic - free chicken breast perfectly golden fried, with lettice, pickles, & butter herb mayo .... placed between a fresh hamburger bun to make the perfect bite. 3 of us were very content with the samdwich. Fries are delicious, so are the shakes, malts, & concretes.

I downloaded the Shake Shack app that made ordering from my smartphone fast and easy. They have a designated pick up area for mobile orders. I found a great coupon code at Retail Me Not which made the price much more reasonable. As for the Lockhart Burger it has a smoked sausage over the top of the burger patty. The sausage flavor overpowered the flavor of the burger but it was a hearty and meaty burger. The burger patty was mostly pink but they have an option when ordering if you would like it well done. Next time I will order a plain burger to judge it on its own merits. If you like smoked sausage then this Lockhart burger is definitely worth taking a bite of. Staff was very friendly and tables were clean. They offer tap craft beer. Nice place to stop at when shopping at the Domain!

Love it! Sooo much better than in In-n-Out, in quality and size. Of course you will play more, but your paying more for a good reason. Was shocked to find they even existed in Texas! Atmosphere is upper fast food scale and is very clean and hip. Great service and short wait for food. Highly recommend this place if your craving a burger in the downtown Austin area

Great burgers, took a little, but cooked very fresh, great shakes. I think overall excellent value and very tasty.

One of the top shake stops in Austin. Almost always a line, but well worth the wait. Experienced their shakes at another location and was a fan, they have been able to transfer the secret sauce to Austin.

I have wanted to go to Shake Shavk for sometime. Stopped in for a strawberry milkshake and fries. Wish I had been hungry as the menu looked fantastic with mushroom burgers, hotdogs and delicious combinations of beef-burgers. The best milkshake I've had in ages from a casual fast food restaurant. They do not serve onion rings as we asked. Their french fries are crinkled French which are not typically my favorite, but these were crispy and very fresh.

Went to shake shack while on business with a few co-workers. Not low fat by any means but very tasty burger and great fries. Worth a stop for a quick bite.

After checking into our hotel we spotted the Shake Shack out our window and decided to get it a try. It was fantastic. Delicious, juicy burger and the fries were fantastic. It was more expensive than a fast food burger, but comparable to all the other trendy casual dining burger places. My husband liked it so much he said he wanted to try to go one last time before we left town, but sadly we didn't make it back.

Small portions that, in my opinion, do not warrant the hefty price. Nothing that I would say is special to make it worth the cost. I am a h handicapped person and both times that I was there, no offer of assistance was made to help me navigate my wheelchair and hold the tray of food with drinks back to my table. Not that I did not make it, but it was challenging. A little help in light of the amount of money spent would have been greatly appreciated.

It is a good burger joint, but little expensive for why you actually get. I think it is about the same size burger as a double double from in&out but twice the price. Like the toppings and stuff and I am not afraid of paying for a good burger but think it shout be more like 6 or 7 bucks with fries not over $10. I may sound cheap but I am far from it when it comes to food. Nice location close to the IBM office I was working at. Would go again because it is close and it is good.

Who does vanilla custard with a fresh piece of blackberry pie in it? Amazing!!! Definitely will be going back when we visit Domain again.

Nice place. We sat outside and there was an area to play corn hole. Good to keep kids entertained. The burgers are small. I got a chicken sandwich and it was tasty, but small in size. The crinkle cut fries were really good. The food had good taste, but For the price I would just expect more. Customer service was great.

I ate here for the second time today and had the burger with bacon and cheese. I had the single patty version. I also had fries. The fries are decent but the burger was tiny compared to the single patty burgers from Whataburger, 5 Guys or Mighty Fine. Also you can't order with mustard instead of shake sauce. The burger was tasty. I was disappointed given all the hype you hear about the place.
Just ok
The burger was nothing special but the custard was great. Custard cost more than my simple burger but it was better.
