Great noodles

By Someprimusfan |

Delicious hand made noodles, open kitchen so you can see your meal being cooked. Friendly and helpful staff. Will come back many more times.

Fabulous la mian noodles and great service!

By Rachel G |

I missed the hand-pulled noodles from my years in Gansu (China) so much...and this place satisfied my yearnings! My husband and I have both lived in China and we really missed authentic food from there. Noodles for the far northwest are particularly hard to replicate, but that was why I loved this place even more. Our server was utterly on the ball, bringing us our menus within 30 seconds of sitting down, and speedily bringing our items whenever they were ready. We got the cucumber salad for our starter and I got Seafood noodles while my husband got the Shang Beef Noodles. We both loved our orders! My husband likes his chewier so he got knife shaved noodles while I got my beloved hand-pulled. We were extremely satisfied with this small, clean noodle place! I wish we had something like this closer to us in Washington!

Delicious and reasonable

By Crazymotherof2 |

Such a great find!! Small restaurant in a strip mall off the beaten path. Friendly and helpful staff, with amazing food. We shared a few dishes including the beef pancakes. We were told to expect the pancakes to take a little longer than others items but it was well worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. It's small so avoid the crowds and go on off hours.

DELICIOUS

By PnutLve4Evr |

We stopped in for lunch and the food was great. Excellent service as well. We ordered the Veggie Chow Mein, Shang Fried Rice, and Beef Pancake. The beef pancake was good but not crazy good but the chow mein and Shang Fried Rice were DELICIOUS!! In fact, I ordered another Shang Fried Rice to go as it was our last day in the area and my mouth wanted more!! Excellent food. Definitely deserve all the good reviews.

Authentic Chinese Noodle

By msayuri |

The beef hand pulled noodle soup is my favorite. It’s hard to believe that we can find such an authentic Chinese food in Las Vegas.

Finally real Chinese

By David E |

OMG! Skip the orange chicken fake Chinese. This is the real deal. The spicy wontons were my absolute favorite. So much flavor. But they are not for the faint of heart. The beef brisket noodles were scrumptious. Sit at the bar and enjoy the show. Watching the chef pull the noodles or slice the knife cut noodles directly into the pot was worth the price alone!

Not sure what the fuss is ?

By _tomnguyen001 |

We stopped by here for lunch after seeing the episode of No Passport Required. We ordered several items including their famous shang beef brisket soup, their beef brisket and a couple of starters - beef dumplings... The noodles (hand pulled) were soggy and tasted just like it came from a freezer. Broth was just OK (we had to put in a load of pepper - on a cute bowl on the table) just to get the needed spice. The dumplings were greasy. The waiter literally asked us three times in 5 minutes to make our choices!!! In any event it is the food that makes us wonder why it is rated so highly

Labor Day Lunch

By JXR_UK |

We ate here for lunch with friends. It was my first visit. We waited maybe 10 mins for a table. I had the Shang beef noodle soup, which was a big portion. Everyone’s food was super tasty, freshly made and really good value.

Delicious Lunch

By Tia P |

We met our kids at Shang Artisan Noodles last weekend when we were all in Vegas coincidentally. Plenty of parking and no wait when we arrived. When we left however it looked like about 20 people in line ... so we lucked out. The tables are long shared tables with little stools. The service was quick and polite. My favorite part about the place is the windows into the kitchen so you can watch them make the hand pulled noodles. I think that young man must have very strong arms! My husband had the spicy beef noodles and I had the seafood noodles. We were both very happy with our meals. The noodles had great texture and the broth was so good. The prices were fair and the portions large. There's no way I could have finished mine. I'd go back. (My real score is a 4.5 ... def not a 4, but the 5 might be generous.)

A must stop while in Vegas

By kcchin |

The hand pulled noodles are what makes this place special. A fairly small place with either tables or counter. But the wait is well worth it.My new must visit whenever I am visiting Vegas now.wworth it.

Handmade Noodles - watch while you wait!

By vapoogababy |

Great noodles and a great atmosphere! Very tasty dishes and entertainment by watching them made your noodles by hand while you wait or while you eat! Will definitely visit again next time we're in Vegas!

Outstanding noodles

By 5flower |

Delicious noodles. We tried the Dan Dan noodles and the Shang Beef noodles. Both are outstandingly delicious. Very filling. The place was packed (the seating area is small), and we waited for 25 minutes, but it is worth the wait. Good service. Accepts American Express card.

Cozy Noodle Shop Without Attitude

By Guvna2030 |

I work around the corner from Shang Artisan Noodle and I have been there four or five times. It's a small shop with limited seating (including a long bar) but it is bright, warm, and inviting. If you sit at the bar, you can watch the chefs make and cut the noodles. They are as good or better than anyone you will see on the Strip and they are NOT pretentious at all. I always get the Shang Beef Noodle and it is outstanding. The broth is delicious (and piping hot) and the beef is cooked just right. The staff is very friendly and the watermelon-flavored water is a nice touch. This is a hidden gem but worth a visit.

Exceptional hand made noodles

By 1antonacci |

Four of us had dinner here 2 ordered hand drawn and 2 ordered knife sliced noodles, both were delicious. The staff was helpful, patient, and friendly and the total bill was about $60 including tip. It’s easy to get to - about 5 miles west on Flamingo in a small strip mall on the south side of the road. If you like noodles, give it a try, you won’t be disappointed

noodles

By Victoria P |

This place is going on a year old. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Staff are nice and attentive. Service is quick once you order. You have your choice of 3 different types of noodles. We choose the Chicken and Mushroom noodle and Seafood Noodle. Both were tasty especially the Chick and Mushroom which was savory. Plenty of parking. Good prices.

Delicious Noodles

By Melinda M |

Can’t go wrong with these delicious noodles!! This place usually has a wait so come before you’re too hungry and get your name on the waitlist. You can also order to-go and eat at the food court tables if you decide not to wait.

Best Chinese Food since China

By Kollin E |

We lived in China for 3 months in college. Living in the Midwest now, we don’t have many opportunities to get good Chinese food to satisfy our nostalgia. Whenever we travel to a major city, we seek out Chinese eateries. This is the best Chinese place we’ve eaten since we began this practice. We were here on a Friday night and decided to eat here again for lunch Saturday afternoon before our flight out of Vegas. Between the trips, we tried 6 dishes, all of which were delicious. The highlight for my wife was the Shang Beef Noodle with Hand Pulled Noodles while my favorite was the Spicy Wontons. Again, everything was delicious. Service was attentive, it’s a small place so they have a few people that run food/water to tables as necessary. They have an open kitchen, so you can see the prep and watch them building their noodles and dishes. We were seated quickly both visits, but the place is on the small side, fills quickly, and seems to be popular so either check in ahead or be prepared to wait. It is well worth it. We paid under $35 for both our meals tips included and they were the best meals of our trip. Will definitely be recommending this to anybody who will listen.

Shang Artisan Noodles has the Best Noodles

By derrickwg36 |

Shang Artisan Noodles are the best noodles I have ever had, which includes Asia and Italian Noodles. All noodles are handmaid and extremely fresh. This was my second visit, it will always be on my things to do when I visit Las Vegas. I recommend trying the Dan Dan noodles, beef noodle soup and spicy wontons; every noodle taste amazing. If you like any kind of noodle this is a place to try, you will not be disappointed. I do recommend getting there when it opens, there's usually a line waiting outside the door or get on the Yelp waitlist for your visit.

A break for your stomach and wallet

By WhatBucketList |

Does your stomach and wallet need a break from the steaks and buffets? This is a great spot off the strip to fulfill that craving. Food - 4 Authentic Chinese beef noodle soup with hand made noodles and a hearty broth. A beefy taste with a tang of tomato base in the soup keeps you coming for more. Chewy noodles slurp down with all the flavor offerings. Service - 3 Staff may be a little young and overwhelmed when it gets busy. Food comes out quick but the seating and paying process may lack a little. Atmosphere - 3 Just a small restaurant that seems to have opened before they finished the renovations. Will definitely return to get a inexpensive quick fix in Vegas.

The Best Noodles Ever

By derrickwg36 |

Once again Shang Artisan Noodle amazed me. The service was outstanding, and I ordered two amazing dishes. I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles and Beef Noodle Soup, both dishes were phenomenal. The Dan Dan noodles are truly the best I’ve ever had, but they are spicy, so you must enjoy spice to enjoy these noodles. The beef noodle soup has amazing flavor and the beef is fork tender, this dish is not spicy but still has amazing flavor. There is a spicy chili oil at table, if you want to heat up the beef noodle dish. If you enjoy fresh noodles and Asian Food, this is a must try.

Well worth the trip off the strip!!!!

By Brandi S |

So authentic, simple, and amazing! Found this right here on TA and so happy we took the uber off the strip! We ended up getting take out bc there was a wait, and eating on the picnic tables outside. Everything was spot on best I’ve ever had!

Amazing... a must for any Vegas trip

By Ruth M |

Get off the strip and enjoy this affordable, yet amazing hand thrown noodle restaurant. I wish we had this restaurant back home. We had the beef soup and the chicken and mushroom noodles and they were amazing. Fast service and friendly. We would come back to Vegas just to eat here.

Fabulous!

By AZTraveller |

Absolutely fabulous food! What a hidden gem. It is set in a nondescript strip mall, about 10 minutes away from the big hotels, but so very worth the trip. Everything was excellent, but the pork belly noodle soup was so good we ordered another. We will definitely return the next time we're in Las Vegas.

Lunch and dinner

By Winnie T |

Service was excellent. The noodles are freshly made in full view of customers. Great skill and show. Beef soup noodles were very tasty but of course, not a match with Taiwan beef noodles soup. However, I would go back again. The fried rice was very tasty, too. We had the marinated cucumber. For Las Vegas, I would say Shang Artisan Noodles. The cold noodles were a bit salty to my taste. I recommend sticking to the beef noodles among all the noodle dishes. Restaurant says they don't use MSG.

The Beef Pancakes Are Incredible!

By Sunny Dreamers Travel |

Shang was recommended to us by a couple friends while we were visiting Las Vegas, NV. It is close enough to the strip without having strip prices. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed was how busy it was. There was a line going out the door and the wait was upwards of 45 minutes to an hour (you can join the Yelp waiting list if you prefer not to wait out in the heat). We were seated at the bar and the staff was immediately friendly and brought our drinks right out. The restaurant is labeled as fast casual, and they definitely delivered on that aspect. My husband ordered the Dan Dan Noodle with knife-shaved noodles and I got the Chicken and Mushroom with the hand pulled noodles. We also ordered a side of beef pancakes as well as the wontons in chili. The waitress had warned my husband that his noodles were going to be very spicy. He was okay with this as he loves spice, but was slightly disappointed that there wasn’t much heat at all. If you are a spice lover, this will it be as spicy as they may warn! That is the only reason for one less star. I loved the amount of veggies in my noodles, and the texture of the hand pulled noodles were amazing! The chili wontons were a perfect amount of spice and I think their chili oil is probably one of the best I’ve tasted. As for the beef pancakes, these were probably my favorite part! The outside is crunchy, but when you bite into it (be careful, it’s very hot when fresh) it was almost like eating a soup dumpling! There was a small beef patty inside surrounded by a savory and delicious soup. Overall, this place is a great find and I highly recommend when visiting. I would definitely make sure to get on the waiting list if you are in a hurry or simply do not want to wait in the heat.

I love it

By kisssmee |

I don't know if it's because I haven't had hand pulled noodles in a while, but I loved it here. I got the Pork Belly Noodle with knife-shaved noodles. They have an option of hand pulled noodles as well; the difference is knife-shaved is thicker. I loved the broth in this a lot, but I think I loved the noodles even more. I also tried the Beef Pancake which is a must here. I love the juice inside and the crispiness of the exterior. There are a few tables inside, but you can put yourself on the wait list via Yelp. Once your table is ready you will receive a text or a call from the restaurant. Service here is great. I would love to come back again.

Cozy spot with great food

By Maria 🪷 |

We really enjoyed our time here! We were met with kind greetings from multiple staff members. It was very easy to register for a 15-minute wait with their kiosk. We ordered the chicken mushroom bowl and the pork belly noodle soup. Both were great, but the pork belly soup was amazing! It was chilly out, so it was the perfect warm meal for a lazy day. Plus, the service was super fast! We will definitely be back!

Reservations a must

By Heather |

I ordered the tomato and egg hand pull noodles and the beef & onion potstickers. Both were delicious but the tomato & egg noodles were the highlight of the meal. It is a very small restaurant so reservations are a must.

Best noodles ever!

By K.N. |

This place does the best noodles ever tried before! They are homemade and offer different type. The waiter recommend one type, sorry I don’t remember which one but was outstanding! The chef was making the noodle in front of us. We had also dumplings which I highly recommend! Food was great and service too efficient and very helpful as we did not have reservation but they sat down very quickly.

Delicious

By Kristi K |

The homemade noodles were fabulous. We tried both types they made and both were tasty. The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is NOT a good restaurant for vegans or strict vegetarians. Everything had at least a meat based broth. They serve no tofu and sauces are also meat based.

Nice noodle place

By passenger904 |

Busy place. Didn't have a reservation so waited about 30 minutes for a spot. Bench seating. Service was good. The foodies in our group weren't impressed with the noodles but I thought they were fine. Big portions.

By Sheryl |

Shang Artisan Noodle is the most amazing beef bakery I've ever had in the United States! The owner comes from Taiwan, combining table style and Lanzhou hand-panned craftsmanship, the bread is made on-site, the Q ball is strong, the soup is thick and unclean. The dining environment is clean and bright, combined with Chinese window frames and open kitchen design, you can see the master's field grating, cooking process, full of craftsmanship spirit. Red oil roasted salmon to the stomach, beef flour is addictive, butterfly sauce is warm and sweet, the substrate material is real. Each dish can be eaten with a good taste that will make people want to visit again! It is recommended to avoid peak times, otherwise it is easy to line up. Highly recommended for friends who miss the taste of home or who love handmade pastry.

Amazing noodle soups!

By Jo Ann B |

Soooooooo good!!!! The noodles are amazing. I like that you can choose a noodle soup and then add on as many additional ingredients as you want, such as bok choy, bean sprouts, etc. The pot stickers were very good as well. Great service! Liked that you can watch the chef pull the noodles while you are eating. It would be good for kids.

Excellent Chinese Noodle Restaurant

By ex-road warrior |

Been wanting to try this place for some time and I wasn't disappointed. The kitchen is visible from the seating area but encased by glass to showcase the hand-pulled noodles. Watching it in itself is a treat. The server was very polite and provided a valuable advise when I ordered a Dan-Dan Noodle. She said it's very spicy so for a first-time I should order with the chili-oil as a side so I can add as much "heat" I want instead of it having mixed in. Great advise, because three spoonful was enough "heat" and the amount wasn't even a third of what she brought it out. The dish was great and tasty, but I struggled to finish because the service portion was a lot. My friend ordered Shang Beef Noodle and he couldn't even finish half of it. We also ordered a Spring Roll and it was deep-fried to perfection. This is definitely a recommended place to try.

Artfully Prepared

By GRPC |

Hand pulled noodles is a true art. We were on vacation and this is the place I wanted to take the family. The five of us were very impressed with the preparation and flavor of the dishes prepared by this resturant. Everyone raved about their dishes and it is safe to say this was the best resturant we ate at with such a reasonable price point. Not a big place and since we visited kind of late we didn't wait to be seated, but I did notice the steady stream of patrons while we were there. One word to sum up Shang's...fabulous!

Amazing find in Vegas!

By Cskora |

I ordered Pork Rib Noodle and Spicy Wontons! The broth in the noodle wasn’t my favorite. I ate the noodles and pork ribs with a little chili that’s in a small pot provided in the eating area. The spicy wontons were my favorite, I would’ve ordered more if I didn’t go with the ramen! I forgot the name for the noodle I ordered however it was a thicker more filling noodle which is made in front of you! Amazing experience. I have never had real ramen until this place! Worth the visit for sure!

Excellent

By randstyr |

We ate here twice on a recent visit to Las Vegas on the recommendation of a relative. Both meals were excellent! Don't let the fact that it is not on the Strip discourage you -- it is not a far ride... just a few blocks past Rio. Note: seating is somewhat limited, but we barely had any wait when we arrived just after opening for an early lunch, and around 7:30 pm on a weeknight for dinner. You might find a longer wait at other times, but the food is worth it. The wait staff is very friendly and attentive as well. I'll be returning.

Best noodle restaurant in Las Vegas area

By blacknighthawk |

Was craving for noodle soup and went straight to Shang artisanal noodle shop. Came in early around 5:30pm and there was already a queue outside. Waiting time was about 15 to 30 minutes. Food is so great, noodles freshly made, serving size was right for the price. Staff were friendly and attentive. Ambience is so cool. Not to be missed when in Vegas

The best hand made and hand pulled noodles I've ever had!

By Zpack2723 |

I'm down here in Vegas, and I just had to seek out one of these noodle places that specializes in, house made from scratch, hand pulled noodles as well as the knife cut noodles. No using big boxes of dried noodles here like some local chop suey joint. Coming from Sacramento area in CA, we have no hand pulled noodle places, I'd have to go to SF area and forget trying to park there! I was looking forward to trying hand pulled noodles for the first time. I think these are wheat based noodles, as opposed to rice (white), or egg (yellow), as they can be stretched and tossed about. Shang Artisan Noodle has an easy location in a little strip mall with easy parking, right next door to a new Thai restaurant. Inside it's very modern and not real big. It can get crowded on weekend prime times. The kitchen noodle production is behind glass and you can easily watch the noodles being made and tossed about stretching the gluten in the noodles. They don't mind you watching either! The menu is on the smaller side, hence they can concentrate on doing each dish well. They offer sections of appetizers, Noodle Soups, Sauced Noodles as well as fried rice and chow mein. The noodle dishes can be had with either hand pulled, Knife Shaved or plain noodles. Prices average about $6.00 for appetizers including won tons, pot stickers and beef pancakes. The noodle soups are all around $10.00, including the traditional beef noodle soup to the more exotic pork belly noodle soup. The sauced noodles were all around $9.00 and included Dan Dan Noodles as well as the less seen Tomato and Egg noodles. If you really want something like fried rice or chicken chow mein, they have that here too. The full menu with prices is posted on their website. I tried the appetizer of the Beef Pancake ordered along with a bowl of the spicy Dan Dan Noodles. I've never had or seen a dish like the Beef Pancake, less like a pancake and more like the shape of a little crab cake. It was basically a dumpling with a thick skin with a beef mixture inside, pressed into that shape and browned on each side, like a pot sticker is browned on one side. It was good, but maybe not eyeball rolling back great. The food came out of the kitchen fairly quickly. Next was the big bowl of noodles. It's served with all the separate ingredients presented on top of the noodles, then you mix it with chopsticks. There were no forks on the tables, so you better know how to use chopsticks ... it's not that hard, but I might say at times a fork may have been easier with these long noodles. My first bite of these hand pulled fresh made noodles .... OMG! These are the most wonderful noodles I've ever had! The texture was just right and the feel in my mouth along with the spiciness was something you just gotta try! I really enjoyed this dish ... but I'm sad I can't get this at all where I live! Gotta get back to Vegas soon! You lucky people who live here, need to get over here and try the noodles! There was no language barrier at all, as it can be a problem at some ethnic food places. I'm eating here again next time I'm in Vegas!

Must try the spare ribs noodles

By julie t |

It’s a treat just to get out of the casinos. And seeing locals waiting in a long line itself is reassuring that this would be a good restaurant. But it exceeded my expectations. The noodles are just perfect - handmade and visibly seen in open kitchen- I was just in high heaven. I recommend the beef dumpling ( fried) but I burnt my mouth and tongue when I took my first bite and yes it was still worth it. Haha. The spareribs noodle is also the best. They slow cooked those ribs for hours. The wonton is also excellent. I live in SF where we have plenty of good restaurants but this one will be a hit too if they want to move to SF. One tip: call 30 minutes before you go. They will take down your name and you’ll be first seated ahead of the others who didn’t call in. I felt a bit guilty when my party got seated ahead of everyone else waiting. But that’s the rule. They don’t take reservations. I can’t wait to go back.

Simply Marvelous!

By Kevin V |

If you want a great and inexpensive noodle meal off the strip, look no further! A very short Uber drive gets you here. No reservations here but they turn the tables fairly quickly. We started with the cucumber salad (very light and flavorful), moved on to the beef potstickers (an excellent and unique version). For main courses, we tried the Dan Dan noodles (the best we’ve had, ordered with a lower spice level) and the beef short rib noodle soup (very hearty and tasty). The noodle dishes here are big portions (can be split by two). The noodles are excellent, especially the knife cut flat versions. The prices are very reasonable and service was perfect. We loved the clean and modern ambiance. Highly recommend!!

Worth the wait

By TraveledKat |

Wonderful fresh hand pulled noodles. The noodles are served with several different sauces. We were there on a very busy week in Las Vegas, we arrived at 10:30 am and we were the 2nd in line (they open at 11:00 am). We will be back the next time in Vegas

First of All, DO NOT Believe/Trust all the Outstanding or highly rated Reviews All over Social Media !! The Owner probably spends more Time on Marketing Campaigns than Training his Young Staff... Very Disappointing when you drive 12 miles on a Cold Night(based on Outstanding Reviews !) and discover such Error...

This is your noodle stop!

By Leslie S |

We went on Sunday afternoon right a lunch and it was full but we got seated within 5-10 minutes. The food was delicious and came out fast. The service was good although a little slow. It’s fun to watch them make the hand-pulled noodles, too. Make sure you order them. The cucumber salad and spicy wontons are amazing.

Happy Belly

By Nitadani75 |

I am always on a search for good noodles when I travel. My Sweetie and I discovered this restaurant after a quick Internet search. We were pleased with the menu and atmosphere. Our server was pleasant and informative. I had the Dan Dan noodles hand pulled, Sweetie had dumplings and some rice. Both our bellies did a happy dance. We have found our dinning experiences to better when off the stripe. We plan to visit this spot again

Great Sichuan food - lots of spicy options and fun to watch

By BGuidry |

This was our first stop after landing in Las Vegas. The restaurant is not large, but very comfortable. If you are a fan of sichuan cuisine, this is a great stop. The spicy dumplings were great. Very spicy but the flavor was incredible. The kids enjoyed the tomato and egg noodle dish. I'm a huge fan of dan dan noodles, so I always order it when I see it on a menu. We also enjoyed the beef pancakes. These are a delicious meat filling with a dough wrapped around them but then pan cooked crispy on each side. It's sort of like an Asian meat pie.

Hand pulled noodles are the

By Holly E |

Hand pulled noodles are the best and these did not disappoint. Ordered the Dan Dan noodle dish at a 6 out of 10 spiciness and it nearly burned my mouth. But it was delicious. My dining companion ordered the Shang Beef noodle soup and he thought it was just ok. We also ordered the beef pancakes but didn’t know they take about 15 minutes to cook, so we were paying our check before they were ready. They didn’t tell us that they took so long and we figured they just forgot. They are observing social distancing measures by placing guests far apart from each other; however, the wait was unnecessarily long because they were terrible at quickly cleaning tables and seating new guests. They seemed short staffed and the front desk guy/waiter was busy with take out orders, taking orders, running food, etc. We ended up waiting about 40 minutes on a Sunday night for food although it should have and could have been much quicker.

Hand pulled noodles

By Victoria P |

After a long hiatus, we decided to try Shang again. It was dinner time and the place was full when we entered. We waited 5 min and were seated. We both remembered how good the mushroom and chicken noodles were so ordered that again. You do have a choice of the type of noodle to order. We went for the hand pulled. My order came first even though we ordered the same dish. The other bowl came about 3 minutes later. The meal was just as savory as before although the chicken ratio was on the slim side. Still tasty. Prices are good, environment is modern and clean. Parking is available

Love it

Go every time I go to Vegas , it’s so good. Homemade noodles and great service. We ordered chow main and fried rice. The chow main was the bomb. So so delicious.

Excellent!

By GDH |

This place is a hidden gem. The pork belly noodles (with knife cut noodles) was excellent. Highly recommended.

Excellent Noodle Soups

By LVgourmet |

I saw this place on the PBS show, “No Passport Required” and was curious to see how good it was. On a home movie night, wewanted to get take out and we’re tired of pizzz and burgers so we got noodle dishes instead. We ordered soups, a few dry noodle dishes and a few appetizers. Everything was great. Seasoned and cooked right. For our second visit I took a few of our friends and went there for a late lunch. Again everything was perfect. One of my older friends who is notoriously famous for not wanting to eat out wants to go back again. So I guess that is a testament to how good the food is! The place is a small, cozy gem and the food is excellent. Needless to say we will be back.

SO good!

By Stefanie H |

This small place has amazing noodles! You can get on the Yelp wait list or you can also waitlist yourself when you get there. We had the Dan Dan noodles, spicy wonton, and the beef shank noodles, and everything was delicious. The prices are excellent compared to the Strip. I would definitely go back!

Very different and very good

By roma2srs |

All hand made noodles that are delicious. You choose the type of noodles with each meal. We had chow mein with knife-shaved noodles and it was the best. Pot stickers were also delicious. We ordered the beef pancakes based on the waitress recommendation and were not thrilled with it. It is definitely worth a second visit.

High quality hand pulled noodle soup dishes

By Khoi N |

Located a few minutes from the strip you know this place is legit when theres a 45 minute wait on an early Friday afternoon. They do Yelp waitlists here so remember to add your name as soon as they open. When my friends and I arrived luckily there were 5 open seats right by the bar and we were seated right away. You get a great view of the noodle making station. We ordered Dan Dan noodles, cucumber salad, spicy wonton, beef dumplings, Shang beef soup with hand pulled noodles, beef shank soup with knife shaved noodles and a wonton noodle soup. Wow this is the first time in a long time I've had quality Chinese without it tasting like they used a lot of MSG or super salty. The broths here are really rich. We literally ate and drink each soup down to the last drop. The noodles have a great chewy texture and perfect with the tender cuts of meat. The beef dumplings were fried perfectly, piping hot inside and had a great crunchy texture on the outside. We really enjoyed our experience here. We felt like we had a fun show watching the noodle making process. The food came out quickly and our servers were great. Portion and price wise this place is really reasonable. You don't break the bank when dining here and you'll leave stuffed.

Amazing Noodles!

By MichaelinVegas |

This place makes amazing fresh noodles. You know you're in the right place when there is a line of people waiting for it to open. we still have to wait 45 minutes to be seated but it was so worth it. I had the beef shank with fresh pulled noodles and my son had the seafood with fresh pulled noodles. The portions are so big and it's such a value. We shared some pork dumplings as well. Service was friendly and fast. Kudos to the server who saw my son struggling with the chopsticks. Poor kid was too embarrassed to ask. The server came by and offered a fork. And said he prefers to eat the noodles with a fork too. It made him feel a little less embarrassed. I can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Authentic Chinese noodles in Vegas

By Dwight |

The beef brisket noodle soup is a local favorite, packed with slow-cooked meat, rich broth, and those perfectly chewy noodles. Spice lovers should try the Dan Dan noodles, and don’t overlook the cucumber salad—it’s crisp, cool, and topped with a creamy sesame sauce that I found delicious. Craving noodles that are more than just a meal? Shang Artisan Noodle is a must-try in Las Vegas! Turns every bowl into a handcrafted experience.

Best lunch ever

By fpredoi . |

Best noodles in town, this place is always busy and always a line to get in. I usually go for lunch, never disappointed! I recommend to check in online and by the time you get there your table will be ready!

Fun authentic experience

By Brian T |

Delicious authentic meals. Fun to watch them create the noodles while you dine. Very casual atmosphere, with long community dining table. So glad we went!

Fabulous

By ian |

Off the beaten track this small restaurant specialises in noodles and small Beijing style snacks. It’s clientele when we went for lunch was almost exclusively Chinese and good sign of a great noodle shop. This place did not disappoint. They prepare the noodles freshly in front of you which adds to the pleasure. Service is prompt and very efficient. Well worth a wee bit of effort to get off the strip and try new areas of LV

Reminds me of dan tai fung. Good is great and reasonably priced. Chili wanton is must try. Service is great too.

Great Cucumber Salad

By William F |

My wife and I were looking for a good Noodle Restaurant on our recent trip to Las Vegas. We searched the internet and came up with Shang Artisan Noodle. The Food was fantastic. We ordered the Cucumber Salad, and it was more than we could eat, and it was delicious. We had a Hot and a Cold Noodle dish, which we shared. We took half of the meal back to the timeshare that were staying. The Food was only outdone by the service, and the Price was very reasonable. A "great" place to eat, while you are in Las Vegas.

Long wait. Yet mediocre.

By cliff v |

Nothing like fresh noodles, unless you put them in a tasteless broth. I have eaten beef noodle soup from Taipei to Monterrey Park and this place would not even be in the top 10. The cucumber salad was not even marinated and they put some horrible peanut sauce on top. I am generous with the 3 stars because I feel bad giving a bad rating, but when people are waiting on long lines to get into this place someone has to give an honest review. At least it was not over priced. If you want good beef noodle soup go to Noodle Pot at 4215 Spring Mountain.

Delicious & Beyond

By Aaron Feld |

Service. Noodles. Ambiance. Price Point. Bravo Shang Artisan Noodle Team. This is exceptional! What an experience! & Yes an experience. Watching The guys make the noodle 'to order' the flavors & spices are definitely nothing like I have ever had before. Wonton Noodle Soup (Pork), Potstickers like I've never seen before (or taste), & an authentic chicken chow mein with knife shaved noodles. I wish I had a stomach of 10 to feed. Id continue to order. Glad there isn't any dessert otherwise I might have had to try it out; of course for everyone else's benefit. Lol My server Lindsay; so sweet and so professional. More impressive was the fact she was so well versed in the food & the authenticity of it. You can see that it's a passion she has in the way she was speaking about it. Again, you will see me back here again. I can't wait until they open back up tomorrow.

Made from scratch noodles

By Bill K |

A small, nice, clean and friendly place. Noodles made from scratch. Reasonably priced, light dinner for two plus tip was $30. 2 miles off the Las Vegas strip right on Flamingo.

Down the street from the Palm Hotel and worth a try.

By marc c |

Fast service ( the noodle bowls came before the pot stickers!) with friendly, knowledgeable servers. We had the beef shank noodle hand pulled and the Shang beef noodle knife shaved, along with the beef pot stickers. Everything was delicious and filling. When we come back we will order the same thing without the pot stickers-too much food!

More Than Hype

By CWRinPgh |

Saw this on a PBS food show and made a point to visit on our next trip to Las Vegas. The restaurant is unpretentious and noisy, in a good way. Our server was charming. Four of us ordered different dishes and then shared. Each was amazing, so very different from standard American Chinese food. Highly recommend this restaurant. We will make a point of going again next visit.

The Experience Lives Up to the Hype

By DJKtravels |

This place is amazing. Plan ahead because lines can be long but the food is worth the wait. The portions are huge. We ate our fill and brought home enough food for lunch the next day. We loved being able to see directly into the entire kitchen as they prepare the noodles. Yes, the noodles are freshly made constantly. The noodle preparers have some seriously strong arms - that is hard work.

Great noodles

By Bruce N |

We came here twice for lunch because it was so delicious we couldn’t help ourselves. Hand pulled noodles in their spicy broth with super tender beef was one hands down favorite. We also had their dumplings but thought they weren’t as good as their hand pulled noodles. Restaurant is small, clean and bright. Service was good and efficient. Prices are reasonable. Go early because it can get very crowded and you’ll have a wait in the heat.

meets the hype

By Dave L |

Terrific spot for noodles. go solo or with a group and watch them spin, bash and pound the noodles to perfection right in front of you. not expensive, beer and wine available.

Fantastic noodle dishes, good prices for Vegas, slow service.

By Michael M |

First, note that the wait times were quite long on a Saturday for lunch at 1pm, we weren't seated until 2pm. They do have benches and some tea outside which was nice. There is also a good Boba store next door and a Popeyes across the street where we had their fantastic chicken sandwich while we waited... but I digress. The food was fantastic and we are from Seattle where we have several similar restaurants. My family would rate Shang Artisan Noodles on the better side from a flavor standpoint. The spicy wontons were great. The beef noodle soup had really good flavor. The Dan Dan noodles were amongst the best we've had. It is cool watching them stretch the noodles in the window, but the shaved noodles were also tasty. We consider it worth the wait as we were getting sick of the food on the strip. They are opening a second location in Las Vegas soon.

Great place!

By Jeff M |

Shang is everything a noodle restaurant should be and more. Everything I had was delicious. I came here wit 2 other associates. One of them was Asian and had been at this place the night before and was excited to come here two nights in a row, so we took his advice and joined him. We had a few apps which were all outstanding. A pot sticker dish was excellent. I had a noodle dish with beef which was outstanding. We had the spicy wontons which were to die for! I can taste them now, weeks after I was there. The service was great. Thought it was going to be a long wait as the place was packed, with mostly regulars which is rare for Las Vegas, but being off the strip helps. Very friendly help. I was facing the open kitchen and really enjoyed watching the noodles being made. Just a great place. One of my best recommendations in the years writing reviews on TA

Excellent food & value

By Stefanie H |

Amazing food! Hand pulled noodles made on site and fresh veg in fabulous flavor. The portions are large. Great value. Its small and crowded so we ordered take out and were all pleased!

As advertised!

By Michael M |

This was our first stop when we arrived in Vegas, the food was fresh and delicious! The customer service was excellent all of the good reviews was on point!

This place nails flavor

By Original-Zman |

Always a good place for a quick meal. The food is good quality. The menu is appropriately limited to what they do best...and its all excellent. The hot sauce is uniquely excellent. They must make this in house as it is not like any of the standard chili sauce available at all the other Asian restaurants. Keep it up guys..you are satisfying a finicky eater!

The best beef noodles in the US

By KevinLA310 |

I like beef noodle soup (niu rou mian) and I think theirs is one of the best I've had in the US. I had some other items here but I always go back to the original beef noodle soup. Stick with the classic here.

I have always eaten at this restaurant and the service was poor and disrespectful.

empty restaurant and I couldn't sit on the chairs, I have always eaten at this restaurant and the service was poor and disrespectful.

By Laura R |

The food tastes very good and the noodles are so fresh. The portions are a great size as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yummy Noodles!!

By Kristy L |

The reviews aren’t wrong, these noodles are delicious! We opted for the hand-pulled noodles and they were so good. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, the Shang Beef noodle soup and the beef pancakes. The Dan Dan noodles was delicious but SO spicy 🔥 ! I suggest getting the sauce on the side so you can add it a little at a time. The beef pancakes were raves about but were terrible. The outside was thick and tasteless and the inside just tasted like onion with plain beef. Skip this appetizer. Can’t explain why it’s so popular. The Shang Beef noodle dish was the highlight. Mmm, that broth, those noodles, the tender meat!! I’d go back again today for more of that soup! Overall, a charming, yummy place to eat. Would recommend!

Crowded cramped restaurant with great noodle dishes and friendly service. Loved the spicy pot stickers

One good dish one bad

By sbbcampervan |

Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - very mixed opinion based on dish. 1/5 - Pork belly with hand pull noodle (N2) was a disappointment. The pork belly was dry and tough with the soup being overly sweet, oily, and mostly soy sauce. 5/5 - Shang beef with knife cut noodle (N1) was practically perfect! The beef was super tender and almost melted in your mouth. The soup was wonderful with complex flavor from the seasoning, a bit of sweetness (from sugar or tomato?) and a hint of spiciness to top it off. Ambience: 4/5 - warm lighting with warm colored seating / furniture. Industrial vibe with an unfinished look. The walls are scraped by the table so you see through the layers of paint to the base. The stools at the counters are all different with different heights as well. The music varies drastically depending on the song and was blasting at one point Service: 5/5 - server was nice and efficient. The kitchen all spoke Spanish and was interesting to observe the interactions Value for price: 4/5 - good serving size, nice flavor, worth it for the food depending on which dish you get

Fresh Handmade Noodles

By mikempink |

Just a few blocks from the Palms and Gold Coast Casinos, this asian restaurant is excellent. It stands apart from most because they make their noodles by hand each day. The dining area faces the kitchen so you may get to see them rolling and streaching the noodles. The Dan Dan and Wonton soups are good choices to taste the noodles and I would like to try the Chow Main on my next visit. We also tried the Beef Pancake, which was very good. My favorite noodle restaurant is still Noodle Pot on Spring Mountain Road because their soups are so unique and are somewhat larger than at Shang. But Shang is very, very good and the noodles are amazing.

OODLES of NOODLES

By xanderhargis |

Absolutely great!!! I took my mom for dinner 5/21/2018. We started out with the cucumber salad. The salad was good. You get a lot of cucumbers for the price, however it is not traditional if that is what you are looking for. A spicy peanut sauce is on top with shredded carrots. Good. I had the chicken chow mien with hand pulled fresh thin chow mien noodles you have 2 choices of fresh pulled noodles. Really good and you get a lot for the price. Mom had the beef noodle bowl with wide fresh pulled noodles. Great flavor similar to PHO a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. The star for me was the POT STICKERS(Pork/Cabbage) they are worth the 15 min wait. The only down side is the restaurant is small and you will have to wait and the service could be a little better. Overall a great place for fresh noodles.

Yum, Yum, Yum

By mauiwolf |

My first visit was a good one. The spicy wontons were fantastic. Really memorable flavor. I can still taste them 12 hours later. Super Yum. The beef noodle soup was very delicious. A great tasting broth and tender beef. The Dan Dan Noodles were also wonderful, but a little too spicy for me. My companion had no issues. We just drank the cucumber water because all the drinks were bottled, which I don’t like. I would definitely eat here again. Maybe tomorrow!

I'd swim in the the noodle soup but the service would let me drown

By Anastasia B |

I could swim in the broth it was that good. And watching them hand make the noodles was very worth it. They did an excellent job with portions and quality of food. The broth had that depth of flavor you wish everyone could make. This was well worth coming off the strip to enjoy. However, the service was not great. I don't know if its because they were short staffed or if it's how they normally are. But when my friends and I joke that we won't see our waiter again for 30 min...then that's not great. Additionally, if you have a red meat allergy like my friend, you may be limited. Overall, it was delicious and would go again. Minus one for service.

Fantastic fresh hand pulled noodles

By Susan L |

This restaurant is small with an open kitchen where you can watch the chef make fresh hand pulled noodles, quite amazing! The fresh noodles were delicious, ordered the pancake, these have soup inside when you bite in, very hot and tasty. Great service, would definitely go back for more. Very good value.

"Delicious fresh Noodles"

By Clara S |

We ordered take out from this restaurant and definitely it was one of the best noodles we have had. Everything we ordered was fresh and great tasting.. Service was quick and the price was reasonable..

Worth the wait

By Jojo C |

First, you must have time on your side when you decide to dine here. The wait time is usually over one hour, because the line is long and the restaurant is small. It's worth the wait, though! As soon as you enter, the aroma of their broth is so inviting, you will forget that you waited over an hour.

Great Tasting Noodle Dishes

By Iron Talon |

My wife and I visited here after looking at reviews and we really liked it. She and I got two different kinds of noodles in our dishes and we both agreed, the thickest, hand pulled was the best although both were excellent. We will definitely be looking to come her again the next time we're in town.

Freshly made noodle soup bowls brimming with flavour.

By Yohan S |

Decided to check this place out a little way off the Strip as we fancied Asian noodle soup and wanted something reasonably priced that was recommended online. Lovely, little joint about 20-30min walk from the Strip. Most would drive, but us crazy Brit's did the walk to get the juices going and walk off the calories on the way back. Fairly simple walk out of town, past the Belagio fountains, over the freeway and up Flamingo. Cozy, narrow restaurant with open kitchen to one side. You can watch your chefs freshly preparing the noodles, which have to be recommended. Having it in a big bowl of soup seems to be the favoured option. Three of us had three different varieties of this, each wonderful, deep, spiced broths. Our fourth member took a non soup option and equally enjoyed a less liquid meal. I would recommend the pork belly, but as I say non pork and vegetarian options are possible too. Lovely young waiting staff. Very obliging and knowledgeable about their products. Lots of people coming in for take away on a weeknight and filled with oriental people which is always the best reassurance. Well worth a visit if willing to travel.

authentic noodle

By sueliu2019 |

Very good noodle spot. A bit of hike from the strip. Noodles are on the sweet side which is true to its Shanghai influence. Strongly recommended the cold noodle and beef pancake

Best Noodle

By derrickwg36 |

I eat at Shang Artisan Noodle every trip to Las Vegas. Hands-down they serve the best hand put and knife cut noodles I have ever tasted. The Shang Beef Noodle soup is amazing. The customer service is outstanding, my glass was never empty. This noodle restaurant is a must try.

Worth the wait!

By Chris L |

Ate here with my husband and our best friends. The Beef Noodle Soup was amazing, as weee the cucumber salad, dumplings and other sides. We’ll worth the wait since the only have room for 30-ish diners and don’t take reservations. Loved that we could see them making the noodles by hand!

Yummy noodles, pork belly and wontons

By The Allens |

The hand pulled noodles were delicious as was the pork belly and the spicy wontons. The restaurant is a bit small but window into the kitchen is a neat feature.

By 77mockmotorspitcher |

local friend took me here for lunch and it was so good i cant wait to go back.....shangs beef soup was latge enough to share and the hand tossed noodles and broth were very tasty....we also ordered 3 apps and i thought the spicy wonton's were unique and not to spicy....definately try them....great job!

Casual noodle joint, tasty food.

By GrAcIE |

A cool, bright and airy causal noodle joint. Service was good and food came out pretty quick. Two of us got the Spicy Wonton, Shang Beef Soup hand pulled Noodle, and I opted for knife shaved noodle on Chicken Chow Mein. The texture of hand pull noodle is not as chewy/springy as we like, but both noodle dishes were tasty and flavorful. I will come back again on our next visit to Vegas.

Very crowded - Gotta be good!!!

By Sonova_Beach |

The Shang Artisan Noodle is a boutique noodle shop. The menu is easily surveyed, but the establishment has limited seating. We were there late so our wait time was minimal. The food was excellent! The Beef Shank Noodle was exceptional - very similar to what we had eaten in Singapore. All in all, a very delightful experience, which we will be repeating. And often!

Best Noodles in Las Vegas!

I have been here dozens of times and everything is always perfect. The service is fast and efficient and always very friendly. Highly recommend the spicy wontons and shang beef noodle.

Delicious

By Lee S |

The beef noodle soup and the chicken chow mein where soooo amazing! The pancakes were awesome. Cold noodles w sesame were disappointing. Alway get the hand pulled noodles! Short wait very reasonable prices.

Fun & Delicious!

By Vala R |

Our party of 7 sat at the counter. It was a great choice as we got to watch the noodle making, over & over. The cooks were all so friendly and fun. We had beef potstickers & dumplings, cucumber salad & lots of noodles. Everyone was very happy with their dinner. (We went at 6pm and waited 20min. It was hot outside, but the waiter got us ice water while we waited.)

Staff is clueless

By THOMAS |

Staff has no idea about customer service. Service is slow. Food is nice but nothing special. Over rated due to flipping raw noodles around.

Best Secret Place in Vegas

By Joe_Giove |

INCREDIBLE food at reasonable prices. The beef broth is out of this world. I don’t go to Vegas often, but when I do, it’s my #1 choice fir lunch or dinner. Don’t let the fact that it’s in a “strip mall” detract you, the food here is WORKD CLASS.

To be continued...

By FadedFoodie |

Searching high and low for Dan Dan Mien, I came across this new spot on W. Flamingo, not the usual Spring Mountain neighborhood. The menu is so inviting, I'll certainly try again. The Dan Dan was missing the flavors I recall from a local Beijing restaurant in the office building of my firm. Nevertheless, a return engagement is planned...

Fresh Made Noodle from scratch

By TravelCondenast12345 |

I asked for the best seller, I got the beef noodle as recommended. Taste: very well made noodle texture. The beef is more on tasty salty similar to Chinese based beef marinate. Broth: consistently full bodied, refreshing with a hint of spicy. Condiments: Sesame oil and chili paste in oil, it is freaking delicious. The wooden chopsticks and spoon is a nice touch. Ambience: More of chill, relax atmosphere. Music is in moderate volume, not too loud or too low, which means you can have decent conversation without yelling each other. Music genre they played is modern chill vibe. It is very clean and no food smell, good kitchen ventilation. Therefore, you wont smell like asian food sticking on your clothes or hair after your meal. Their chair is not generic, it is made of real hard wood and natural wicker fiber, it has an element of simple design and yet charming. Staff: The waiter (Steven)was very friendly, fast, hardworking and smiling. I suggest the kitchen staff would smile more when having an eye contact with customers since you can see them from the clear glass creating the noddles. It think it gives more energy and friendly atmosphere to the place. Bathroom: It is neat and clean. There is a hand painted Koi and Cherry tree on the bathroom wall, it is so creative and cute. You should ask for ordinary glass of water,I highly recommended it. It has a refreshing after taste of cucumber, mint or lemon. It is was actually the highlight of my noddle experience in this place.

The Art of the Noodle

By pbe |

Even with a brand new set of covid rules hitting Las Vegas today Shang’s made it simple to get in and get seated. We got on the waiting list before leaving our hotel. By the time we arrived we had a few minutes wait and sat at separate tables since overnight the governor moved the safety number from 6 to 4 at a table. No problem. Shang’s accommodated. Our family ordered the beef hand pulled noodle. Dan Dan with knife shaved noodles. Chicken fried rice. And the beef pancake. Everything was hot and on point. A delicious meal at the end of a cool day.

Love this place, amazing noodle and hand made noodle in front of you

By ラブシーホークス |

Amazing 🤩 everyone should go if you like Asian food. I ate Shang beef noodle mild, my husband ate Dan Dan Noodle, there is fried rice, potsticker and so on. My husband put this place in car navigation system. Love it 😍 my friend told me this place. Thank you. ( so popular, please be there early)

Amazing!

Shang Artisan Noodle has it all - a nice super casual but clean and contemporary environment, a staff that is friendly but professional, food that is delicious, and at a great price point. I can't recommend it more highly!

So Good

By Dwayne A |

The food here was outstanding. We didn't have to wait long to get seated, and waited on. Our server answered any questions we had, and very knowledgeable. What a great meal for all of us that tried this place.

Very Good...VERY Reasonable

By thom m |

Small little Restaurant next door to one of my favorite Japanese Eateries...that said, this is a Fine Noodle shop. I was with a friend and was able to sample four different plates. Appetizers were Boiled Beef Dumplings and Pork Pot Stickers. Both were Very good...I especially liked the Dumplings because of the Beef Broth inside...reminded me a bit of a Famous Dumpling Restaurant in Taiwan though not as much broth in these ones. The Pot Stickers take about 15 minutes to prepare so order immediately if you want to get them. My main Entrée was a Cold Hand Pulled Noodle Dish with Chicken. Cold noodles are an acquired taste, I believe, but for those who enjoy them these were Really Good. Subtle flavor in a light peanut sauce that was not too sweet and was, in fact, a bit on the bitter side. The menu says Hot but don't let that deter you. Just slightly spicy but not too spicy. The other entrée was Pork Fried Rice...the only criticism I would have, thought like our other dishes the flavors were subtle, I think, in MHO this could have used a little more punch. The Service was Great and best of All, total bill with food, drinks and a nice gratuity was under $40. I also should mention that it is certainly fun to watch the staff hand pull the Noodles - Great Traditional show. I will certainly be back and next time get the dish that they are most known for ...their Beef Soup.

A refreshing change of a meal from the norm!

By pglejm |

Was told this was a hidden gem away from the strip and it definitely is! Pretty big line at the door but after putting our name in, we were seated within 5-10 minutes! Our waitress explained the menu and gave suggestions of which we ordered exactly what she suggested! Dan Dan noodles, the beef brisket soup and wontons. She had the chili sauce on the side or prepared mildly as my husband isn’t a fan like I am. Our food came so fast! The beef soup was so rich and flavorful! The Dan Dan noodles were really good but too many noodles, needed some veggies. Won tons were really good. All employees were extremely helpful. Fun place!

BEST DAN DAN NOODLES EVER

By sundaelay |

Favorite Dan Dan noodles ever! Blast of unique flavors in every bite. I get the knife cut noodles. Tomato and egg sauce was super yummy as well. I got it as a side, no rice/noodles. The cucumbers were a nice healthy add on. I will always return here! Their new location/dining room is so nicely decorated and quite spacey. I really enjoy watching the chefs make the noodles fresh. Also, shout out to Jenny for being a great server. Quick and attentive :)

Yummy Freshly Made, Hand-Pulled Noodles

By NoStopSigns |

This place has awesome noodle soup dishes! I ordered the wonton noodle bowl and it was wonderful. The wontons were adequately stuffed and very tasty. The noodles were cooked just right. I would definitely come here again when I am in town. You can see the cooks make your dish through the glass window. I personally don't know how the cook who was pulling the noodles can do that for so long. My arms would be killing me! Go early for lunch or there is a wait for a table.

Disappointed

By Paula S |

Took friends here based on the Yelp reviews and boy were we disappointed. We were seated right away. I ordered the Peking Zha-Jiang Noodle. It’s supposed to have diced pork, veggies and sauce. The noodles are made in house. You can actually watch them make them. The bowl came with noodles on the bottom, covered with fresh cut julienne veggies, then a scoop of saucepan top. I was told by the server to mix it all together. When the meal had a slight chill I asked why my meal was not hot and was told cold veggies are placed on top of the noodles. Then I could only find literally about a teaspoon of diced pork, and that’s being generous. It had good flavor from the sauce. My husband ordered the Seafood Noodle Soup with flat noodles. It had three shrimp, veggies and broth. The noodles and broth had absolutely no flavor. Our friend ordered the Chicken Chow Mein. It was decent. Good size portion. We also shared an order of Fried Rice. That was the best item ordered. The service was good. Atmosphere is cold, located in a strip mall.

Probably over-hyped online

By Pete325 |

One of key selling points at this restaurant is their hand-stretched noodles and the knife-shaving noodles. As an Asian descent I have my fair share of variety of noodles my whole life and believe me I have much better hand-stretched noodles elsewhere. It should be a delicate balance between having a 'bite' and slightly chewy and stretchy texture to it. Overall it is okay but probably doesn't worth the effort to drive our here just for their noodles. Interestingly enough their knife-shaving noodles is better in my opinion. In addition, the soup bases for their noodles are very salty (I have tired more than one item). And don't be confused between concentration and saltiness. It could be very concentrated based on the time and amount of ingredients/spices they put into making the soup but that doesn't necessary mean it has to be salty as well. Again that shows the basic skills of the kitchen staffs in preparing the soup stock for the noodles.

Delicious noodles in Vegas!

By JaymePollock |

Everything here was absolutely delicious and worth the wait! It is a small, intimate environment but that makes the experience all the better. What an affordable way to have fresh noodles and dumplings! My knife cut noodles were outstanding and I thought the spicy wontons were to die for. Such a great experience!

Great Noodle !

Having dinner with my family at Shang Artisan Noodle. This Noodle place are good. We are very pleased with the soup noodle we order. You should try when you at Las Vegas . My order was Peking Zhajiang Noodle. it was GOOD!

This is a must go place!

By Kelvin K |

This is a fantastic restaurant. Noodle is fresh and all handmade. I tried the Shang’s beef noodle soup and it is excellent. We also ordered the spicy wonton as appetizer and Chicken chowmein as the second dish. They are both great although the chicken chowmein is on the saltier side. We would definitely come back again when we visit.

Fresh Noodles

By Chanthon K |

I came to Vegas in April for training and didn’t get to try the place. I came back this week and finally tried it last night. It’s delicious. I ordered hot tea, spicy wonton, and beef flank noodle soup. The food was flavorful the price is cheaper than on the strip.

Flavour for days

By Lauren |

We both had the beef noodle soup which was packed with flavour and the dumplings are to die for! We were not disappointed one bit, well apart from the fact we couldn’t eat it all ! Soup bowls are huge

Hand pulled noodle

By plau678 |

Five of us ordered hand pulled noodles, 4 of them were yummy except my Dan Dan noodle. My Dan Dan noodle is not like the ones I am used to. It has no soup (dry bowl) and some of the minced pork at the bottom was still cold. There is no peanut sauce (perhaps the reason is that some people has peanut allergy and the chef removed the peanut as an ingredient). The ones I am used to also has crunchy pickled vegetable and this one has chopped up pickled leaves but no crunchy roots. The name of the restaurant is Artisan and perhaps the Dan Dan noodle is his style. The drinking water has a hint of cucumber infused, very nice. We also ordered as appetizers pot stickers and spicy won won and they were also good. That is why I think the Dan Dan noodle was made according to his style. It was simply a case of not what I am used to.

Not your parents choy-suey

By Fouregas |

Las Vegas, like many other cities in the world, are seeing more authentic Chinese cuisines populating different part of the city. This Taiwanese style (or even Northern Mainland style where they eat more noodles than say the rice culture in Southern China like Guangdong Province) noodle place has the hand-pulled or shaved cut noodles to give it a little more theatrics and "authenticity". There are other similar joints in town that I've gone to and comparing to the real deals I have experienced all over Asia, these in town ones still have a way to go to catch up on flavor, taste etc. But I am not that picky, I am glad it's available in Vegas when I feel like a bowl even though it may not be the most authentic. On this day, I had their Shang beef noodles, the gyoza (dumpling) two ways--steamed and pan-fried. None of them blown me away, again I've been spoiled for having too many great noodles/dumplings in their birth-countries. Service was good and overall I would still recommend the place. It's nice and clean.

Shang Artisan has Amazing Noodles

By derrickwg36 |

The food at Shang Artisan Noodle is amazing, but the waiting process is not very good. I was on the waiting list which projected a one hour seating, when I showed up an hour later they informed me it would be another hour after I would be seated. I ordered my food to go and hade to eat in my car since I do not live in the area. The spicy wontons, beef noodle soup and Dan Dan Noodles are the best I have ever had. You will not be disappointed in the food if you like Oriental food and noodles.

Great Find

By TibetVisitor |

Been looking for a hand made noodles local place for quite a while. We ordered 5 different dishes (Spicy Won Ton, Dan Dan Noodle, Shang Beef Noodle Soup, Seafood Noodle Soup, and Chicken & Mushroom Noodle). All were very good. Service was above average for a local eatery. The chef also demonstrate making noodles. All priced under $10 (as of March 2017). Definitely will come back many times.

DELICIOUS NOODLES and GREAT VALUE

By dhlchung |

Tried this simple noodle shop for the first time and we were not disappointed. Service was quite quick and the beef noodles was delicious. Chicken chow mein was a little sparse with chicken and could be improved with more ingredients. Overall, it was great value and taste and well worth a trip there.

Best Noodles Since Traveling To China

By Mark and Chuck's Adventures |

Since booking our Christmas trip to Vegas, we've been stalking this place on social media. We're actually traveling with a couple we met on a trip to China several years ago. Authentic Sichuan food isn't easy to find in Florida. Everything seems dumbed down and lacking the numbing from Sichuan Peppercorns. So Shang Artisan Noodle was a 'must do' in Vegas and did not disappoint! We were thrilled to see that they were open on Christmas day and made sure to get on the Waitlist here on Yelp. The Waitlist function worked well, updating us on when to jump on the list for a 4:30 dinner. It then updated us about checking in. When we arrived, we checked in with the server and waited a few minutes before being texted for our table. The place is tiny! Maybe eight tables and a dozen seats at the bar facing the kitchen. Sit at the bar and watch them hand stretching noodles if you want a show. There is no shortage of servers in this place, and we were immediately greeted by a server who brought water and offered drinks. We were ready to order, and my husband and I decided to share an order of Spicy Wontons ($7.29) and Beef Pancakes ($7.69). We also ordered a bowl of Dan Dan Noodles with the Hand Stretched Noodles ($10.29). Each dish was expertly prepared, big on flavor, and with the incredible textures we remembered. They did not skimp on the spice, and we felt that delicate numbing from the Sichuan peppercorns. Even though we ordered Wontons and Pancakes as appetizers, we know that food comes up as ready, which was OK as we enjoyed sampling little bits of everything. Our friends ordered the Shang Beef Noodle Soup ($11.29) and the Shrimp Chow Mein ($11.97) to rave reviews as well. If you love well-made, hand-stretched noodles, this is the place to go in Vegas!

Takeout order

Great flavourful noodles & fast service. Broth was a little too salty for me, but overall it tasted great. Next time I want to try their delicious looking fried rice n beef pancakes

We were on the way back to our hotel from Red Rock casino , my great friend Ling would like me to try the Shang for their well know Beef noodle and number one in Vegas , after 8 pm , the whole place still rocking ! luckily we got the last tablet , very clean , airy not a big place with open kitchen concept and excellent menu lot of choices , not expensive , ( little too cheap in Vegas standard ) we both share the beef sticker and Spicy wonton , ( ask mild ) and their signature Beef Soup Noodle , WOW ! WOW! I am a fussy eater comes to Steak and Soup Noodle , Ling was right ! The best in Vegas , so delicious and not too oily , flavourful well balance with the spicy just right amount of the noodle , very depth beef flavovour , classic techniques with a touch of Taiwanese style and the Northern China cooking concept , great job and they have variety noodles to choose from , like Hand Pulled , Knife shaved and Plain noodle , they all tasty and chewy , just awesome , not too far from the Strip and close to the Red Rock Casino , worth try it out ! lot better them buffet ! and lot cheaper !

This is just an average noodle shop, which appears to be highly inflated in reviews. It could be that others have not had hand-cut noodles, so the novelty is leading to excessive praise for what is pretty mediocre food. Or it could be something more sinister. I don't know. But I would not want a poor tourist to come traipsing here from the Strip for what is pretty average food, and worse, terrible wait times. That is what takes away an average review to a poor review. Caveat emptor.
