Great foof

By Alexa S |

I love this place. The staff and owners are very friendly. The food is delicious. This is a great location. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I will definitely return back to this place. The music is right great.

Outstanding

By herb854 |

A fabulous dining experience, my compliments to the chef and all the waitstaff. Let me get to the best part, food... on the recommendation of our server Michael, we chose an assortment of plates. The oysters were a bit of heaven, fresh and succulent. My seared scallops were perfect, as were the crispy fish tacos. The crowning jewel was the cherry crisp. probably the most delicious dessert I have ever had. All staff are very professional and the decor is well thought out, relaxing, and sophisticated

Mostly good food but very expensive

By Gary T |

This is a really well done new restaurant near the Y in Oak Hill. We started with Calamari, three types of oysters, and the Snapper Crudo. The oysters we tried were Irish Point, Thatch Island and Bluepoint. We enjoyed the Bluepoint the best although all were delicious. The oysters came with several sauces and some horse radish. While each type of oyster was priced slightly different, the total for 12 oysters came too $47, which is a very poor value. The Calamari dish was plentiful and tasty with a bit of pepper in the coating. It wasn't over-breaded and was fried just right. At $14 it was a decent value choice. The Snapper Crudo was down right delicious, but really needed more snapper and less oranges and bell pepper. At $22 for a few small bites of snapper it was a very poor value. For mains my wife had the Shrimp Tacos and she rated them "out of this world delicious". At $15 this was a good value. I had the large bowl of Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo and regretted my choice. There were only three shrimp and 5 small pieces of sausage in the bowl. The rest was a watery rue with rice and some shredded chicken. At $18 I found it too be a poor value. We will likely go back due too the Tacos and Oysters and to try some different dishes. Service was very good but the kitchen was a bit slow. The meal took us about an hour and a half.

Spring break happy hour with the family

By BritsinTexas |

Today we were served by Neil, he was amazing! Very attentive and knowledgeable about all of the dishes. He gave me samples of wine to try before I ordered. This was our second visit, the first being within the first couple of weeks of opening. The service the first visit left room for improvement but being newly opened we gave them the benefit of doubt. I am so glad that we decided to go back, the food was amazing topped with the amazing service by Neil, we are so looking forward to our next visit.

Have not figued out the pandemic

By Gary T |

The online web ordering process works and the pick up process was almost contact less, but not quite. The food was quite cold on arrival home 15 minutes later. Thy haven't figured out how to deliver quality food in a pandemic.

Excellent experience and food!

By Karen R |

This was our 2nd time to eat at Shore in a week. The food is excellent quality. Great wine list. We had reservations and were seated right away. Only a few minutes passed before the manager came by to see if our drink order had been taken, and then he took it. We explained to our waiter, Noe, that we had some time constraints. Noe made certain that our order arrived timely, and did an outstanding job making sure we had everything we needed. It would seem that concerns others have mentioned in prior reviews have been taken seriously and change has resulted. Two thumbs up!

Amazing Find

By Jeff S |

Stopped for Memorial Day brunch and couldn't be more impressed. Unbelievably fresh and beautifully presented menu. Signature dishes of ceveche, skinny luchador, and home made biscuits were worth driving to Austin alone. By far one of the best desserts I have ever had was the strawberry and cream crepes, enough said. Highly recommended!

Fishy Wishy

By Jensoid |

With Austin becoming a no drive zone for us north of the river, it is always nice to find new places opening up in the SW corridor of the city. Driving by this location often brought up the question, need to try that. After being encouraged to check it out from the Bartender at our local haunt, off we went. Suzie is allergic to shell fish, so this was our biggest concern. No worries, there were lots of no shelly fishy stuff available. We sat up at the expansive bar and were immediately greeted by our bartender for the evening. Mentioned that Suzie was allergic, always a good idea. The menu was full of tasty options. We were more in the mood for just snacking around and opted for the Boudin and Fried Green Tomatoes. I also ordered a half-dozen on the half shell. Delicious, fresh and satisfying. The Fried Green Tomatoes were flippin awesome. Crisp batter, not soggy in the middle and a great aioli to dip into. The Boudin was a bold, stuffed snarsage...pickled red onion, remoulade accompanied the Boudin. Again, very well prepared, seasoning well and left us wanting more. We settled in this evening to visiting with some neighbors we haven't seen in years, chatted with one of the managers and enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. The art is very vibrant and we have the unfortunate habit of buying stuff off of walls to bring to our own home. Luckily I don't believe these were for sale and we actually don't have wall space anymore. Munchies this time around, defo will be back for future adventures. Price point is what you expect from a similar establishment downtown Austin. And I'm sorry I didn't notice what the HH price menu is or their offerings. Our cocktails were all carefully prepared by an attentive bar staff.

a lot flies on patio

By J E |

Another year another birthday. Sat on the patio again but maybe the last time. The flies are so bad on their patio. There seem to be some issue on who our waiter was when we were seated. People got seated after us and got waited on and we waited. Finally, my husband went inside and asked if we could get a waiter. Food is good. I wish they had more grilled fish options like the Pick 6 but grilled and not fried. They were nice and gave my father a brownie for his birthday. We bring our own fans but now I guess if we want to go back we will bring our own fly fans. If I was the restaurant I would deal with the flies ASAP.

Hidden gem in south Austin

By aellyson |

Our family of 5 recently ate dinner at the new Shore Raw Bar & Grill upon a friend's recommendation. It was really good food, excellent service, and a good atmosphere. My husband ordered the gumbo to start and practically licked the bowl clean. Then, he had the six+six seafood platter. The breading on the shrimp and oysters was light and flavorful. My daughter and I had the crispy fish tacos. The salsa serrano that comes on the side was fabulous-just enough spice to add great flavor. My sons ordered the Boneless Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Brisket Tacos-both leaving just a few crumbs on their plates. We finished our meal with two of the desserts that we all shared: a chocolate cake with caramel sauce and a key lime pie. They were excellent! Our waiter knew how to be attentive but not in our face. They have a special food runner who comes out with the food and gives you a detailed explanation of every item on your plate. She knew every ingredient in every item! We have two food allergies-shellfish and peanuts, They took extra time in frying my fish, so it wouldn't get cross contaminated. They changed out a sauce on the brisket tacos that had peanuts. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and family dinner.

Great Seafood Menu

By BobtheBuilder39 |

There were so many good looking items on the menu, it was hard to choose. But we did try the fried green tomato appetizer; they were outstanding. The lobster roll was lacking in flavor. As mentioned by another reviewer, the prices are high. Three of us, had only two total glasses of wine, and with a 20% tip, paid $140 for LUNCH and two of the lunches were salads. The restaurant is a long distance from downtown; it will need to depend on locals. Good seafood (limited choices) is available just down the street at Jack Allen's.

Great happy hour

By LParnell |

Met with a friend and we were there during happy hour. $2 off drinks and $4 off appetizers. We had calamari, grilled oysters, guacamole, fried green tomatoes with crab meat- it was all delicious. The guacamole was very yummy. I also had the east Austin hard cider - dry and watermelon - both served very cold - just right. Our waiter was excellent. I am definitely going back.

I hate to write this review...but hopefully the owner will take notice!

By BKS |

My husband and I are pretty regular diners at Shore. We supported Shore during Covid, we love one of the bartenders when we eat at the bar, and we love the food. Tonight was the "straw that broke the camels back", however. We had a reservation and were seated immediately by the 2 young ladies at the hostess stand. That is when this review takes a turn. We were a party of 3 and sat at our table for at least 12-15 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us. There were plenty of waiters waiting on tables, but we were like the table that no one was assigned. We called out to one of the hostess TWICE as she passed by setting up another table for a larger party and she totally ignored us. Finally, I went over to the table they were setting up and told the other hostess we had never been acknowledged by a waiter. She just said, oh table #?? and walked off. She disappeared and we still sat there another 2-3 minuets. At that point, we decided we'd had enough and walked out and went to JAKS. Like I said, we love the food and have had some great meals at Shore. We've talked with the owner on multiple occassions. With the significant price increases and lack of service tonight...this was the last straw for us. If the owner is reading this, I hope he knows this was really hard for us to write. We want Shore to survive, but if these are the kind of employees running the ship...good luck!

Love this spot!

Family friendly restaurant with great menu. Service was prompt and courteous. Bar area is fun and inviting. Food was served promptly. Caesar salad was large and delicious. Gumbo was very good with lots of seafood. Cocktails were very good as well.

Lunch at new restaurant that has a following

By 1234texas |

We were impressed with our dinner here a few months ago. We were in the area around lunchtime and decided to give it another try. The lunch menu is limited, but what is there is good. The sausage soup is a bit thin, but the taste is great. I would like to see it a litter "thicker" and less soup like. I added some rice my wife did not want with her tacos (which were excellent and we have heard the same from friends), and it really helped the dish. The crowd was rather small, but we were a little late. From all we hear from friends/ "foodies," this is a very popular place. It is amazing to hear so many people recommend it. The decor is very different--nice, but different. There is a large area outside for eating and a number of folks were doing that. We like this place and will remember it for the next time we are down 71.

Very, very good new offering in SW Austin/Oak Hill

By barretta |

We've been wanting to visit this newish place and did so last week. Very impressed. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a raw bar area for shellfish. Having both gotten shellfish - oyster- poisoning (not here) a few years ago, and both ending up in the ER from Vibrio, we passed. But the fish was excellent. Octopus and several other appetizers were tried and all were very good, fresh, prepared just right. Our waiter was also excellent. He knew the menu items thoroughly and answered our questions about prep and seasoning. We ate outside in their spacious outdoor area, and while it has no view, it was still a nice space. Recommended.

New wonderful seafood restaurant!

By Sue P |

Discovered while driving on hwy 71 and stopped by to check it out, so glad we did! Nice atmosphere, spacious with lively original art and 2 huge bars that were wonderful to dine at while socializing with other couples. Friendly attentive staff, and the food was delicious with different yummy sauces that made each dish unique. Highly recommend the fish and shrimp tacos, oysters and calamari. We shall return!

Great variety! Fresh!

By Gran7 |

What a great place. Seafood options are unique and delicious. My husband says Shore has the best lobster roll he has had! And he has enjoyed a lot of lobster rolls. Some of the coldest, freshest oysters on the half shell you will find! Delicious redfish. Great service adds to o the experience!

Too Loud

By John B |

We’ve been to Shore a number of times and generally like it. Our most recent visit was a bit disappointing. The restaurant is lively, which is a good thing. It has energy. But this time, the jazz group playing was so loud that we could not carry on a conversation among the four of us, nor could we hear what the server was saying when describing special offerings and taking our order. I even told the server we’d buy the band a drink if they’d take a break! Service was reasonably good but just after appetizers were served the server announced that our entrees were ready and asked if we were ready for them! Also, for some reason the beverage service at Shore is notoriously slow and this time was no exception. We will likely return but will most definitely ask for a table (inside or outside) opposite of where the music is playing!

Great Seafood in an Industrial Chic Environment

By John H |

Just off Texas 71 between the Y in Oak Hill and Bee Cave, this new-to-us restaurant is already wildly popular. There's a welcoming waitstaff and supervisors, great ventilation-needed because of the massive all glass windows- and an excellent bar and wine list. Oysters for sure are on offer, but there's also other options that attract. The crowd is young and hip, and the food is outstanding. It's already sufficiently popular that reservations would be a very wise thing to have.

Great Lunch

By CJTravelerTexas |

On the Thursday prior to Christmas my wife and I had lunch at Shore Raw Bar and Grill with my brother and sister-in-law. The service was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. Particularly tasty was the Seafood and Sausage Gumbo. We dined outside. We will return to this excellent restaurant.

Super Spot on 71

By Noreen K |

We have been to this new restaurant three times in 2 weeks with three different groups of people and we have all enjoyed it. The food is excellent. Fell in love with their oysters on the half shell and was pleasantly surprised to see they had $1.00 Gulf Oyster night on Monday. The wait staff are all friendly, knowledgable and attentive. The drinks were all quite good as well but did seem to have a longer wait for them this past Monday night for some reason. The food tastes deliciously fresh and arrives with a lovely presentation. We sat outside two of our visits and enjoyed the covered patio and also had live music on a Friday night. The inside has a cute vibe but is quite noisy but they said they were working on that. They have a great Happy Hour and I would highly recommend people trying this great place out. So happy to have it in the neighborhood!

wonderful birthday dinner

By J E |

Took my father here for his 87th birthday. We sat on the patio in June because of Covid. The patio has fans and the large building on the other side covers the sun as it sets. The food was great. Everyone was stuffed by the end of the night. They were nice and gave my rather a LARGE brownie desert. The server was friendly. They had live music and it was being pumped outside via speakers and that was a nice touch. My dad had a nice time and I am sure we will be back. Such a treat to have this quality restaurant outside of downtown. Easy parking, etc. Thank you Shore for a lovely evening.

Don’t bother

By fenster54 |

5th or 6th time here. Had the Halibut last time and wifey had the Red Fish. Both were amazing. This time had the Snapper. Was…. Meh at best… even though Snapper is my favorite fish. Biggest problem is that we were 6 adults, and 1 kid and we got grated 20%. That is just low class and quite tacky. Spoke to the manager and he was quite “matter of fact”. Last time eating there.

Fun! Unique! Drlicious

By Gran7 |

New spot in Lakeway area adds a new dimension of fresh seafood to the scene. The grilled crablegs are a hidden gem. Unique and delicious. Fresh oysters from all over the map add to he scene. Scrumptious fried offerings and great steaks are among the choices. Indoor or outdoor seating. Call ahead or be prepared for a wait. Great staff tops the expetiencr

Good Seafood Restaurant in Austin

By James |

Great place and we will no doubt be back. We have driven past many times but never gave it a second thought until finally one day we looked up the menu and knew we just had to try. Right off the 71 and plenty of parking so very easy to access. There is a large raw bar you can sit at and a regular bar. And there is plenty of indoor and outdoor traditional seating. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted and told about the specials as well as our drink orders taken. This was my first time try 512 Brewery and have to say that it's now one of my favorites! We started off with salads; we ordered the Caesar and Blue Cheese Wedge and both were amazing. We are big fans of "peel & eat" shrimp, so whenever we find a place that's serving it... we have to try. They advertise their shrimp as "Gulf" shrimp and I have to say, since moving to Austin, we have had some fresh Gulf shrimp and it is some of the freshest shrimp ever! While this was good shrimp, it wasn't as good as some we have had from sellers who bring it fresh from the gulf waters. They also use very large shrimp; the size you would expect for a shrimp cocktail but not for peel & eat shrimp. Whenever I have had peel & eat shrimp at any other place, they usually serve a pound of 16/20 or maybe 11/15 size shrimp. I'm not sure this was a pound as it doesn't state on the menu and we didn't ask but again, these are shrimp you would traditional get in a jumbo shrimp cocktail. It came with an unusual cocktail sauce. The sauce did have a nice spiciness to it, but there was some other flavor that we didn't really like. We ate it, but it would have been nice if it was just traditional cocktail sauce with a side of horseradish. They cook the shrimp in Old Bay seasoning which is amazing! Very few places use Old Bay but happily they do. And the shrimp definitely could have been chilled more. The shrimp meat wasn't as firm as you would expect; sometimes when places boil the shrimp, they don't spend enough time letting it cool down to firm up the meat. We will have to come back someday to try some of their fish dishes. They have monitors on the wall and seem to show quite a bit of sports, so no doubt this would be a great place for football when the season starts back up soon. But if you are seafood lover, you will certainly enjoy this place.

Good food but WAY TOO LOUD

By jackietrehorn |

Shore is a nice place but it could be much better. First off, I’d say the food is very very good. And the service is not excellent but a cut above. My three stars are due to a) the prices. These are downtown prices where one expects to spend $100+ per person and b) my major issue is with the music. I like music at dinner but it should be in the background and not the foreground. Especially in an upscale place like Shore. Just not acceptable to have to compete with the music when you are trying to have a conversation. I should NOT have to raise my voice when I’m at a place like this. It was too loud and should be reduced by half.

Nice setting but Austin downtown prices

By noodlehouser |

Nice setting and good service...food okay... nothing to jump up about....drop prices add more specials etc...then you will keep locals

Tried out this new placr

By Sugar1Austin |

They had only been open for a week or so, but when we got there, with reservations, the girl at the podium seemed lost, the place was not busy at all, and figured that she’d go right to the reservation list and seat us, but she basically ignored us for several minutes while she found my name. Finally got seated and although there were 5-6 waiters standing in the corner looking like a bunch of used car lot salesman or buzzards, service was slow, drinks were slow, and after ordering it was slower, then when the waiter was bringing our food out, he dropped several oysters off my plate. I waited to see if he was going to mention that fact, but never did. I finally confronted him saying I’d seen him drop some of my food off my plate and asked him to make it good, said, “oh, yeah, sorry about that!”, very off-handed. This is a very upscale and very expensive place to eat, and really out of place in Oak Hill. Needs to be a lot less upscale and prices more realistic instead of downtown high rise type. Food was sparse, but tasty.

New restaurant that has real merit, and should definitely be a success!

By 1234texas |

Friends of ours took us out to dinner at this fairly new (open for a couple of months) located on 71 just north of 290. It is a little hard to find the restaurant because "On Star" has the wrong directions (it tried to send us 2 miles to the south) for it and it is on the west side of 71 "below" the highway and not easy to see. The good news is that it is worth the effort to find it! We were very pleased to have dinner here. The contemporary design is very clean and attractive. The artwork is a little bazar, but you will get over it quickly when you get served the food--outstanding! There is a very large outdoor area for service as well as a large interior with great air conditioning. The service was a little "spotty" because of a new employee who was not certain as to how to find a bottle of wine or how to open it! The wine list is decent and appropriately priced. Parking is easy and next to the entrances. We had some absolutely wonderful appetizers--which are huge. The fried calamari is enough for the entire table, but serves 2 people very well. The wood grilled octopus is beautifully prepared and very spicy--excellent. The oysters can be served as you like--very well done if you are not into raw oysters and very tasty. The ceviche is a beautiful dish--one of the best tasting ones I have ever had. It is spicy and you eat it with a fork! The entries are all good. Of special note is the 6&6 oysters and shrimp dish--as is the crabcake dish. Great french fries and chips! The crabcake is mostly crab with a little filler to add texture and spice--wonderful and very beautifully presented. The salads are also great. We will be back here for certain! This is a good place for seafood and some drinks or just great appetizers and wine. How can you miss here? I think this place has the potential to be a "5" with a little more time to work out the kinks--upgrade the staff training (it should never take 20 minutes to find a bottle of wine! Nor, should the person be so clumsy in opening it or unsure as to who should taste the wine. Also, all 4 entres should be served at the same time--not one 10 minutes later!) The staff needs adjust/keep the music at a decent level for the size of the crowd--loud music when arriving early with an empty room is never a good impression Finally, I am not certain if the management wants to make the inside area a sports bar or not. There are a number of TV's scattered on the upper walls on different stations--fortantly, the sound is turned off! They are a little distracting. Bottom line--go and give it a try!

Delicious food, awesome service and great atmosphere but expensive

By M J |

Delicious food, awesome service and great atmosphere but expensive on the wallet. I ordered the Lobster Roll sautéed $34 and my husband ordered the Blackened Redfish $49. Both entrees were fantastic. For desert, I ordered Key Lime Pie $13 and my husband ordered Dark Chocolate Mousse Bombe $13. Shore Raw Bar & Grill is located near the Y in Oak Hill.

Buck a Shuck Mondays

Had gulf oysters on the half shell. Nice cocktail sauce on the side. I had the crawfish etouffee and the others had the seafood gumbo. All was very good. Service was great. Lovely, modern decor with a very high ceiling.

Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing space!

By S. Mahnken |

We live out of state, so anytime we're in the area we make a point to go because it is seriously the best seafood we've found in all of Austin/surrounding areas. On the weekends there's usually live music of some sort and the staff is always incredible. Because of all the many many pros, my husband and I decided to do our rehearsal dinner here (it was about 20 ish people). Pictures of the private dining rooms do not do it justice! It was spacious, comfortable, and everything from the drinks to the music was absolutely on point. The food was perfect, the staff was incredible, and Stefania was so easy and helpful to work with. Not a single detail was overlooked. They went above and beyond and personalized it in a way that we didn't even ask for or expect, she is truly just that good and thoughtful. I cannot sing her praises high enough. Do any event here and it will be spectacular. Spefania is honestly the best and the wait staff/bartender we had the pleasure of meeting were also incredible. They are a lively, polite and down to earth bunch which makes everything easier. 15/10 would absolutely recommend.

Outside Dining

By CJTravelerTexas |

My brother, sister-in-law, and I had lunch at Shore Raw Bar & Grill mid-week and we were seated, at our request, outside. The service was friendly and attentive but we found the crawfish etouffee and the fresh catch tacos to be just average. Perhaps we just came on a bad day. We would be inclined to give Shore a second chance.

Outstanding every time. Must go!

By Josh B |

Shore has been consistently outstanding each and every time we have been. Brunch twice and dinner twice...just fantastic. The chargrilled oysters are out of this world. In fact, everything you will order is delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Great food and amazing artwork worth the visit

By Elizabeth W |

We had dinner and drinks tonight at this new gem of a restaurant. The gumbo was some of the best I have ever had, with lots of interesting flavors and spices. The crab cake sitting on a bed of lettuce with aioli, citruss, corn and beans was excellent. The real treat at this restaurant is the amazing decor and artwork. If for nothing else but the artwork, you have to visit this restaurant. Make sure you check out each of the restrooms and the hall that attaches them. The artwork will knock your socks off!

Shore Ricks!

Popped in for a quick solo lunch after hearing it was good. Wow. The shrimp PO boy and fries were awesome. I will be back!

Mmmmmmm

Beautiful new restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows and views all around. Love the open concept and the view of the kitchen. Every meal and appetizer we’ve gotten has been excellent. Shrimp & grits to die for! Seafood soup is out of this world. Ceviche is on point & octopus tostada is tender & delicious. Super clean place, great staff. Happy hour deals are nice. Highly recommend!

Jazzy Sunday Brunch

By pdSixty8 |

It all started when I received an email from the Shore Raw Bar & Grill showing a delicious looking list of brunch items with photos of the entrees. The one that caught my eye was the Shabang Chicken Biscuit. So when the weekend arrived we decided the go to the Shore for Sunday brunch. We have never been here on a Sunday morning and surprised how packed it was with a band playing. The next time will remember to make reservations, but were seated quickly. My wife looked over the menu but I knew what I wanted. The atmosphere was excellent and enjoy dining here on a regular basis where it seems the menu changes throughout the year. It is better to dress up business casual and leave the flip flops at home. It is always nice to enjoy a special outing with a meal and live music. My surprise surprise…Shabang Chicken Biscuit arrived! Normally you would think a non-seafood item here would be a bad choice but it was very good. It was a large chicken sandwich where the bun was a biscuit but after cutting it in half the biscuit started to come apart. I secure one side with the food pick while eating the other. The chicken was delicious with a crispy honey taste. It came with a side order of potatoes cut in small pieces nicely seasoned. Ketchup and a dipping sauce was also provided. At some point it was easier to use a fork and knife to finish off my chicken biscuit plus made it easier to dip in the sauce. The Shore also has other brunch features on the menu and will have to return and try them. I did notice even though there was parking available a lot of slots were taken and a new place next door is a few months away from opening, so suggest parking in the back if can’t find a spot.

Great food and atmosphere

We have now been to this restaurant 3 times in the past few months. EVERY meal was fantastic and we will definitely go back when in the area. Prices are a little more than normal (like most restaurants these days), but it's worth it.

Good place for seafood

By Gergana |

We decided to give this a try on our Ladies Night since it got good reviews and it's fairly new. All of us certainly enjoyed our meals (Crispy Fish Tacos and Lobster Roll). We also shared a couple of appetizers - the ceviche & chips were most definitely a standout. We also got the Boudin (sausage with rice & herbs) - good but certainly on the spicy side so be prepared. Their cocktails were excellent - I had their only Gin-based cocktail (Reparation something or other) and it was crisp and refreshing. Their desserts were substantial so be prepared to share. The Chocolate Hazelnut Cake was a bit sweet but the Tres Leches had fresh fruit which I enjoyed. Service was a bit slow although the guy made good recommendations when he was around. We just had to wait a bit between drinks and courses and for the bill although it didn't seem that busy. It's off of 71 in a newly built strip mall next to a new apartment complex. Don't follow Google all the way - make a turn on Covered Bridge Rd (which has a light) to get into the complex. Plenty of free parking everywhere. It was a nice place but nothing that stood out to me. Not sure I'll make the drive out there again just for it but I might stop by if I'm in the area.

Just opened, first visit

By SEMPER F |

I have been waiting for this place to open for several months. Went for happy hour, stayed for dinner. Eclectic menu, in my opinion overpriced but well prepared. Had oysters on the half-shell and tequila oyster shooters for happy hour. Had a great crab cake for dinner. Very nice ambiance, but they could lose the track music that played "Moon River" 7 times in two hours.

Seafood Niche

By pdSixty8 |

Heard good things about this new restaurant and went to have lunch here. First I noticed they have the biggest doors in Austin and inside was a nicely open setup with everything in view like the bar, kitchen, inside and outside seating area. Lots of glass walls to bring in the natural light and artwork all around. I spent some quality time looking at it. We were seated and given menus. I decided to order the Ceviche and a glass of wine. My wife ordered Fried Shrimp on Sweet Potato Fries. The service here was top notch and this place seems dedicated to adults especially for date night. The restaurant bar is pretty big and there is a chef bar to dine at while seeing your food being prepared. Our food arrived looking very impressive and my ceviche was really good. The tortilla chips were freshly made and delightful. This was a wild choice from the menu and turned out to be a winner. My wife’s shrimp was very good along with the sweet potato fries. This seafood restaurant is close to home and definitely be back for more. As for parking, during lunch I just parked in front and not sure have valet for dinner. But do notice they prefer to setup dinner reservations using the Resy app.
