Ate at this restaurant about a 2 months ago with my wife who is from Thailand. We ordered a dish called Glass (Noodle) salad. We went back to this restaurant a few weeks ago and ordered the exact same dish and the price was changed. I asked our server why the price had been increased he said he would go speak to the manager. When he returned he told me that the price went up because of the noodles. I said to him the dish was prepared exactly the way it was the first time we came. So it didn't explain why there was a price increase. With such a ridiculous reason for why the price went up, I will never go back to this restaurant again. I guess it's more important for them to make a small increase in profit rather than treat / keep a customer.

Our food was excellent....the curry was perfect. Not too spicy. Thank you! Will return to try the sushi which we are told is excellent.

I'm in Miami frequently for business and often slip away here for a working lunch. Service is quick and atmosphere is quiet and low key. I like the variety of lunch box specials where I can get a sushi sampling along with an array of other protein and salad in the lunchbox.

The food is delicious, the place is cozy, and the service great, all at very reasonable prices. Their curry dishes are our favorite -- they have different kinds, our favorite is Masaman Curry which you can have with chicken, beef or shrimp, and they will make it as spice or as mild as you request. Enjoy, but leave room for their Thai Donuts. You can ask for a half order of the donuts if you can't fit any more! They also have a Japanese menu, so I can start with the Miso Soup I love. They're at 9999 Sw 72nd St Ste 109 in Miami, Florida

Affordable & Near-by!

Yummy delicious sushi, Japanese.....fresh....clean, nice environment. Great service :-) would definitely recommend

We have been going to Siam Palace since we got married. It's amazing Thai food every single time. High quality, excellent taste, amazing service. And consistent through the years. Even after they installed a sushi bar, the Thai food was the same high quality and great service.

Delicious food, excellent service, gorgeous decor.

A co-worker took me to this place recently. I work close by and I always noticed it but never went in. Once you walk inside, It's just a relaxed, calm feeling that comes over you. It's a small family owned restaurant with great food and great service. I love this restaurant and whenever I have a bit leftover after my budget, I'd go to Siam for lunch. I have recommended this place to several friends and everyone has loved it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Siam Palace was recommended to us by a great friend of ours many years ago. Every since then my husband and I have been eating there. The food and service is always great. The sushi is always fresh.

We wondered by chance into your restaurant and were surprised by the good sushi and service. We ceertainly plan to come again and will recommend this restaurant to our friends.

Their Thai Dishes are extremely good. Specially the Currys and the fried fish with coconut sauce. Also, you can try the shrimp fried rice. They are really good. Some of the dishes are large enough to share.

Very good Thai, excellent service and atmosphere. Not ridiculously expensive either.

This is actually one of our favorite restaurants in Miami. The Thai curry is excellent. The shrimp are large and fresh and cooked just right.

Love this place the atmosphere is great and the food is delish. Highly recommend it. Take your family

Food was good. Nothing spectacular. If you're in the mood for Thai food, be comfortable in coming here. The service was fast but, our waitress lacked any personality whatsoever.

Staying in Miami & was taken to this restaurant... had a wonderful meal... great range on menu, food was really great, staff & service very good!

Siam Palace has been my family's go-to restaurant for years. We have celebrated many milestones here. Kumar, the owner, is extremely attentive and goes above and beyond. The servers today were excellent and we hope to see them stay a while as they were very friendly and professional and offered service with a smile. To say the least, the food is phenomenal. My personal recommendation on appetizers is the Thai veggie spring rolls. The sauce, the refreshing veggies, the crispy deep fried wrapper. Our favorite Sushi rolls are the Sumo roll that has an amazing saucy seafood topper, and the Miami hurricane roll that is a wonderful tribute to our canes with a green and orange roe. The presentation is outstanding!! Pad Thai is always a great pick, seafood and chicken being my favorite, but today, Kumar recommended the veggie Pad Woon Sen with the tiny clear noodle. It was absolutely delicious, and I savored every bite and then some!! If you're vegan be advised they use egg and oyster sauce in these dishes. One of the great things I love about all their dishes is that the veggies aren't overcooked. They are still crunchy and taste like they would in their natural state. I highly recommend Siam Palace; my inner fat girl would live here if she could, and my inner vegan would approve with minor adjustments to each dish. Thanks again to Kumar for exceptional service today!!

Discovered this place when I first moved to Miami, love it. All the food is excellent. The service has been spotty but I believe its under new management our something, and the last time I was there it had improved again.

Siam Palace on Sunset Drive offers so many beautiful surprises: an accomplished chef offering super foodie creations and omakase experiences, extensive menus and delicious dishes and a wonderfully high end decorated dining room. This oasis is hidden in a small shopping center so it was a great discovery. After our meal we were delighted that the chef came out to our table, asked how we liked everything and presented us with a secret new culinary creation for dessert. Our taste buds were singing and we can’t wait to return to try the Chef’s Omakase price fix dinner.

I love this place. Food is delicious. Servings are generous. Flavor is superb. Owner is there making sure everything is perfect. They also have lunch specials that are great and the price is right. 100% recommended.

Every Thai restaurant I go to inevitably falls short in comparison. I always have a complete experience at SP. Start with a nice cold Singha beer and the sampler appetizer. The star of the appetizer is the curry puff-light, fluffy and flavorful. The seafood soup is the star on the menu. I think it's a Tom Yum soup and it's loaded with shrimp, scallops and squid. The rich broth explodes with chili and lime flavors. It's spicy and like other things on the menu you have to tell them how hot you want it-1 to 5 or native hot. I made the "native hot" mistake on my first visit over 15 years ago. Go medium hot and ask for hot oil or red pepper on the side if you need a little more. I next had the Volano shrimp. This is a generous portion perfectly cooked with veggies. The sauce comes on the side but I have it poured on top. This loosens up the sauce and allows it to cook into the shrimp. Poured on top of rice it is really a great experience. I then helped myself to some of my wife's squid in garlic and pepper. This tasty sauce I highly recommend to those with a lower tolerance for spicy foods. SP also offers a sushi menu which is where my kids usually order from. The quality is top notch.

Awful, worst pad Thai shrimp, bland flavor. I had veggie tempura, very good but didn't serve with traditional broth but instead a Salty soy with ginger. Won't be returning

I have been coming to this restaurant for close to 20 years, and I am NEVER disappointed. It started out as a tiny, unassuming, yet tastefully decorated Thai restaurant with excellent food and service. After a few remodels to add more seating and an expanded menu that includes Japanese as well as Thai cuisine, I can still say the food and the service are excellent. (It is still very tastefully decorated as well!) The sushi menu is creative, the Thai food is flavorful, and the presentation is exquisite. My family and I love going to Siam Palace!

Excellent cusine. Best shrimp in tamarind sauce that I ever tried. Shuzhchi bar super fresh and service is great

We have eaten at just about every Thai restaurant in South Florida, and Siam Palace is the best. Cynthia and her crew continually present the best Thai food around as well as the best overall service.we always look forward to a great meal at Siam Palace and you should too.

SInce my husband and I are regular visitors to Thailand we love to dine Thai when back in Miami, This place is great on all levels, for food, service, atmosphere, and price. And it has good vegetarian options. I think they have Thai chefs which is part of what makes it so good. Excellent, excellent place. The food here is almost as the Thai food we eat in Thailand well worth a visit.

The food is scrumptious. we otlrdered.the lobster sushi special to die for. I also had the leeches martini.

The decor is pretty. Quiet pleasant atmosphere. It is a good value at lunch. The service is good. The food is excellent. Love the masaman curry. They also have a sushi bar. Good parking.

This is a little Gem in the Southern part of greater Miami Dade. The food is superb and the service is quick and helpful. If you enjoy spicy food, there are plenty of delicious plates too choose from. I love the Chili sauce fish. Enjoy...

I have visited Siam Palace on a few occassions now and continue to be pleased with the service and food. The setting is intimate, but also comfortable for any occasion (I have seen people dining with family, friends as well as solo). Both times I have come on a Friday evening for dinner and as long as you arrive before 8-8:30 we have not had to wait for a table. We usually start with a sushi roll for an appetizer. I would recommend trying the chef's specials because they are good. There is a good variety of entrees that range from chicken, beef, seafood and even vegetarian dishes. Depending on your appetite you can share an entree because they serve good portions. The thai donuts are delicious and just sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. I would definitely recommend giving Siam Palace a try especially if you like Thai food.

New management, no Thais in sight. We could not eat any of the three dishes. When queried, I explained that the dishes, while large, were not Thai. I was then informed that they were "Fusion", which must mean that they can use the same overly sweet, overly salty canned brown sauce in two totally different dishes. If this is considered great Thai food to some farang, they are badly misinformed.

excellent food, great price, and the sweetest viejito chino to bring it all together :)

I go there with friend because it is their favorite restaurant. I like it too because they carry all the Thai classics and their cook is good. Important to remember that spicy means spicy so where your order spicy elsewhere order mild there. And for the ones that have some Thai experience you can have the Thai spicy but then do not forget to order the meekrob on the side to avoid crying for the whole diner. The place is nice but for a family diner or diner with friends. Good food , good atmosphere a good Thai restaurant

Food was exceptional with outstanding service and a great atmosphere at reasonable prices, best Thai food in Miami, MUST TRY!!!!

I love Thai food so my sister took me to this restaurant. Lovely quiet ambiance- so nice amid the Xmas craziness. Service was very nice. Excellent wine list and the food was outstanding and beautifully presented. I definitely would go back.

Been coming here for 15 years and ownership changed recently (within the last 2/3 yrs) the food has gone from excellent to good but there service has deteriorated dramatically! We kept giving this place a shot because the sushi was soo good, and the steamed filet of fish as well. Today I waited 15 minutes for water after being seated as same for my wine. 30 minutes for my first roll there arrive (all 3 were ordered together ) . The restaurant was empty when my husband and I arrived at 7:40pm there were 4 other tables taken up. It’s a shame I’ll have to find another place to dine. I’ve given them plenty of opportunity to Shape up. I drive 30 minutes to eat here. This is MIAMI!!! Sushi is everywhere. Shape up Siam Palace!!!

Best Thai food ever.... The rest mgr. and services are great,it's the best Thai rest in the area.. The Sushi food is also good and the services too.

Went for lunch with my wife We had vegetable soup and for entry I had the red curry and my wife the masaman curry. We ordered also gyzo which is like a dumpling. We had chang beer which was cold and for dessert had the fried ice cream In general the food was good

I have been coming here for years. Food, service, cleanliness excellent! The owner Cindy is very charming and gets to know her customers over the years. My favorite dish is the Siam Chicken if you like a little spicy and sweet (chili sauce). Try the spring rolls and thai salad with peanut sauce. Their lunches are very well priced and comes with a soup. Dinners are a bit more expensive. The food is always presented very well !!! They also have a sushi bar that looks delicious. I am picky about where I eat and I can tell you I have never been dissapointed!!! Enjoy

The food was absolutely exquisite with the whole fish succulently spiced and served with white rice. The flavored exploded in your mouth with the light sauces and especially served hot temperature - a very important feature in a Thai restaurant.

This place is wonderful ... recently under new ownership and all changes made have had a very positive effect. I have had the opportunity to host 3 business lunches and dinners there recently. Food is amazing - first quality - and plentiful. Owner is present and visible. From the fresh crisp salad with peanut dressing, spring rolls, chicken noodle soup, chicken curry, to the Thai doughnuts ... all were superb. Reasonable prices and generous portions - both lunch and dinner. Haven't tried the sushi bar yet, but may do son on my next visit. Will definitely eat there often!

The place is very nice, service is good and the food is excellent. We all had something different, teriyaki chicken, shirmp in the yellow curry sauce, chicken in a red curry sauce with combination fried rice, all very good. And the Thai donuts at the end are a must.

New menu and new owner! We had dinner there the other night. My wife had a sushi, which was great. I had the high ginger wok bowl and it was delicious. We got to enjoy some steamed gyozas for appetizers.

I have been going to the Siam Palace for more than 15 years and it's wonderful...not to mention the food and my favorite dish and the best dish for me there is the Pad Thai...whether its chicken or shrimp or vegetable, its delish!!! The owner and the staff happen to be very attentive to you and make you feel welcomed. I love the ambiance!!!!

The food was very tasty, and the service was very good. It was an overall pleasant dinig atmosphere..

I eat lunch here at least once a week, sometimes two! I always order the Bento Pad Thai. It comes with chicken pad thai, and i always ask for it medium spicy, but i love spicy, and medium is serious business! It also comes with a california roll OR JB roll, and 6 pieces of sashimi. It is THE best and freshest sushi I have ever eaten, never a bad meal! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The food and the service of this place is impeccable. I love this place. the Pad Thai and the chicken.. Try the Saketini's. ( Lychee ) super tasty...

A nice surprise, the food was very good as well as the services. From the lobster tail to masaman rice and duck. Thai coffee was a bit unusual for a traditonal esspreso fan. Overal I rate it 4 * plus !

Every time we eat here, we are pleased. Not only is the food delicious, but the service is always top notch. Try the lobster roll.

One of our favorite Thai / Sushi restaurants in Miami. Family oriented and consistently good. Also good wine selection.

Very good food and the attention was also great! We tried some sushi rolls that were amazing and well prepared. Totally recommended!

I used to dine at this restaurant frequently when I resided in Miami, but now that I live in Davie, the drive is about 40 minutes so we seldom visit anymore. This day was my 5 year olds graduation and he wanted thai donuts so we decided to drive! I noticed they added a sushi bar and expanded a little, looks very nice. I would recommend this restaurant to those wanting fresh seafood, or just an authentic Thai dinner.

I have been coming here forever. They changed management recently and you can definitely tell. The staff is all young and not so attentive as before. The food is Still Excellent.

Excelent place for those who love sushi and thai food. Service is good and quality for the price makes it worth visiting this restaurant, Lunch especial has a nice assortment of combinations. My particular choice goes for number one, which offers you a combination of rolls plus sushi.

I never review a restaurant until I've been there a few times so that i can judge them on more than one sitting. I have been here over 8 times and they have all been outstanding. The new owner (figure of speech, he's been there over a year) is very friendly and approachable, the menu is as good or better than before, and the wine list has a good variety. Their sushi is excellent as are their Thai plates. We have asked the owner to give us a variation of a meal, and he has always been very accommodating. Love their "i love Coconut' dish and their deep fried Snapper, but have had a bad meal yet. If you like Thai, you must fo to the Siam Palace.

I recently went back, after being away for 20 years and it is still good, even though it is under new ownership. I had the Beef Green Curry, Curry Puffs, Spring Rolls and other Thai dishes, all was very good. I especially like the Curry Puffs, those are great. If I am in the mood for Thai and I am in the area, this would be the place to go to.

I used to live in the Miami area and made a regular trip here a must. Food excellent, lovely atmosphere, attentive service, - worth the price. I have even been there on Christmas night and found it packed.

We eat out a lot and this restaurant has been on our favorite list for about 14 years. The food is delicious and the restaurant is classy, clean, and friendly. The sushi is great too. Ask for Cynthia. She always remembers her customers and goes out of her way to make date night special for my wife and I.

After a long time since visiting we were very happy to see that the quality and service at this restaurant has remained tops and even improved in some cases. This is a hidden gem in a safe and quiet residential neighborhood. The food was excellent and I had the Chicken Cashew plate as well as my wife who had the Curry Chicken plate which was also great. For starters we had the rolls which were delicious and as for dessert the Thai Donuts which are a must!!! Although the place was full and the service on the slow side, it was well worth it as the attendants were very nice and friendly and the food was fresh and very well made. Highly recommend it!

I always order the same thing and love it. Sumonomo, and Royal Chicken with brown rice, I just love it. I ask for pepper sauce and flakes and heat it up to taste. There is usually enough left over for another meal at home later. It also comes with a different soup appitizer every day.

Recently visited Siam Palace a couple months ago and have since visited the restaurant on a weekly basis. Having been to Thailand I can say this is the most authentic Thai food I've had in the States. The owner Kumar has been extremely hospitable since our first visit and always greets us on our trips to his restaurant. The wait staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself is very clean with a Sushi chef on the floor! Highly recommend the Penang curry and Chicken Pad Thai which are my favorite or feel free to ask Kumar his personal favorites he never disappoints. If you're craving Thai food for a very reasonable price, this is the place to visit!

Have been going to this restaurant for as long as I can remember and it's amazing!! It's been a favorite of my family and I for years and I would not go to any other Thai restaurant in the city. It's family owned ambiance gives it a great welcoming feeling, with familiar servers and the same great taste it's always had. My favorite plate is the Masaman Curry, and I would recommend it to anyone, whether they're curry fans or not. The Thai steak is transcendental. The soups are delicious and their additions of sushi are unique and quite tasteful.

Our experience last night was wonderful. We were with friends and had a great Papaya Salad, Penang Curry with Pork, Basil Chicken and Seafood Pad Thai. All were yummy and the staff was very attentive. We would go back there in a heartbeat to try many more of the great dishes on their menu. They also had a range of wines and beers including Thai beer which was light and delicious.

I love going her for the quality of the food and great service. The owner is very attentive to the needs of his customers. They are chicken pad thai is amazing. I always ask for extra pad thai sauce and I have never been told that will cost extra.

Excellent spring rolls, garlic and pepper chicken and sushi rolls. Stop in when you are in the area!

This restaurant is one of my favorites in the Kendall area. The owner "Sam" makes you feel like family as soon as you arive. Their Curry's are fantastic but the volcano chicken is my favorite. If you want to go to a reasonably priced Thai restarant and be treated like family this is the place to go.

Hadn't been here in years and it was far better than I remembered. I had curry vegetables for a modestly priced lunch special. Wow, it really hit the spot. A good variety of veggies cooked to perfection with a very flavorful red curry. I'll be back...

The food was excellent as usual, the service was great, we love this place. We visit at least once a month.

Cinthia is wonderful. Ask for Andrew as your waiter. He's awesome. Food is great and healthy. We absolutely love this place.

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years now, and it never disappoints. Food is always delicious and service is always very nice and quick. Great for dining in and take out as well. Hidden gem in Miami for Thai and sushi.

Great food, reasonable prices. Staff is good, but not friendly.

As far as I am concerned the Siam Palace located off Sunset Ave is not a chain, however I may be wrong. I have not seen another in South Florida. Now as for my review on this quaint but tasty cuisine..... Two dishes exemplify the authenticity and validity of thai food to me: The Pad Thai and The Curry, whatever curry they can say is their specialty. On this last occasion on July 15th I enjoyed both! The menu first of all is huge....you have japanese on one side and thai on the other. I see there is a nice sushi station however I feel this is a thai place moreso than a japanese sushi bar. There are many great dishes all around. I especially enjoy the beef satay skewers. More the beef than the chicken version, the beef was meaty, juicy, and flavorful while the chicken was dry, bland and lukewarm. I devoured their nutty peanut sauce however in comparison to my first experience has been watered down and runny. Consistency is a must for excellence. They have great thai beers that combine wonderfully with the meal, strong and malty Singha or smooth and mellow Chang in addition to Japenese laguers as well. Now for the curry: the red curry is their house favorite and I know why. The broth was thick but not overpowering. The flavors were potent with lots of spice yet a balance was present. Portions and presentations were spot on with awesome heat temperature and lots of veggies in addition to our shrimp which was huge and tasted fresh. Remnants of soy, ginger, garlic, and lemon hover in the complex broth, those sweet peppers and coconut milk on the finish of each delicious bite. All in all a great representation of thai curry as we know here in the states. The rice was perfectly degrained, clean water can be tasted in this rice which is important. The ratio of rice to curry was on the lesser side and could have used just a little more. Chicken and shrimp are my first choices to garnish this top notch curry. Now the pad thai: I was not as impressed with the pad thai. I was expecting a little more of the actual sauce to enhance the different textures which included soybean sprouts to the side of which I was not a fan. I like the mixture to be complete to incorporate all the different flavors. Anyways it was very sterile for a pad thai, not enough variety in our veg and also lukewarm in temperature. Nothing like being served a hot plate of food after drinking ice cold beer. I have not had their pad thai on the previous occasion so we can only speculate this was an off night for the chef. It was not bad pad thai by any means just dissapointing in comparison with their curry. It made the curry that much better. Finally on this occasion we had fried ice cream. I thought the shell was more doughy like a doughnut, thicker, density was spot on, the ice cream perfectly secluded inside. We could have done without all the chocolate syrup from a bottle on the outside and the cherry was old. So all in all an ok little dessert that is different than other fried ice cream balls. Now was for the service: the saving grace in their service was KUMAR. I hope he gets to read this since due to his eloquence and grace this restaurant saved itself from a negative commentary. The waitress that was assigned was just not properly trained and clueless when it came to serving us. The young lady forgot everything including our check and you would witness Kumar quickly come to remedy the situation and pick up the slack. He was nice enough to get us water, chopsticks, extra rice, and sell us on dessert which we would not normally partake of. It was a real treat dinning with Kumar as our guide and in essence SIAM should use him as the model by which their service would thrive. Great food like this warrants excellent service! I look forward to my next meal at the SIAM PALACE. Until this day I do not know a better place for thai in Miami! 4 out of 5 stars on the scale of the #SaxChef

A gift to appreciate, this restaurant has become the default place for my wife and I to eat. Good food, well cooked, friendly atmosphere and a blessing for our digestion.
A New Spot!
It only took 31 years for us to discover this place, but at least we did! It’s a typical Thai restaurant space with Good music. Our server Toya was absolutely lovely in every way. We had the Basil duck and the Siam duck. Both were delicious. We also had the vegetable fried rice. We absolutely Loved our food and now have a new spot for Thai.
