Perfect Taste, Always Great!

By JazzLotus |

We called to order our food before we came, because we wanted a dish that takes about 15 minutes to prepare. When we came our food was ready. I had asked for it to be mild with just a touch of spice, and it was exactly as I wanted it. As usual, we were treated like friends, since we are regulars, and the food was great! By the way, in a previous review I wrote the lunch special goes till 4 p.m, but that is incorrect, it ends at 3:30 and is not offered on Sundays and holidays.

Wonderful Thai Food

By Martin T |

I eat here regularly, it is on a nondescript corner of Biscayne Blvd, parking to the side or rear. Food is consistently good, inexpensive and authentic. They also have lunch specials.

Excellent Thai experience

By Jose M |

The restaurant is now owned by previous staff members. They have assured a Thai experience by having authentic Thai chef and assistants preparing the good. Try the crispy duck .

Pretty good

By Ankush |

Pretty good Chinese food for the immediate 2 mile radius but not the best or close to the best in Miami. It took a long time for delivery though.

Stay home, not worth the trip, very dissapointing

By Jeff H |

A friend of mine told me to try this place. I was cautiously optimistic...until I had to use the restroom. That is when I started becoming cautious. Absolutely filthy. This was the first indication that management and the employees don't take any pride in their restaurant and are not overly concerned with cleanliness. The food itself was alright but 24 hours later...I am still experiencing last nights dinner. Wish I had read the reviews. I need to seriously consider if this person that recommended this restaurant was a friend or someone that...is not a friend. PLEAESE HEED MY WARNING

A Diamond of a Restaurant

By sgt59 |

This restaurant has a modest appearance but boy oh boy, you will enjoy the Thai and sushi here. I learned the chef has professional training in Thailand and he knows his business. Fresh, hot, delectable and colorful attractive dishes are here and you will enjoy! Give it a try, you will not regret it.

Great Thai in Miami

By L R |

We would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the decor. And setting. Siam Rice is a very casual, simple and delicious restaurant. With 7.99 lunch menus during the week. You go there to eat good and to be very welcome. The food is consistently good and authentic.

Really bad service. Average food

By Juan I |

Totally disappointing. Not worthy at all. I ordered sushi and it was really average quality with a high price. I won't go again. Not a good service or interest for pleasing clients.

Big ship

By Javier D |

Good restaurant to go with the family. Don't expect a fancy place to go on a date. Tasty soups, yummy noodles and a big ship of makis and nagiris for two. Very good service.

Wondeful place to eat and meet friends

By Joe W |

Actually, we always go there when we're in Miami. The reason is the really delicious food and also the staff and owner. We've never regretted it. The quality and quantity of food offered is unrivalled. See also an attached photo.

Delivered via Uber Eats

By KimmyG |

In the mood for some sushi but didn't want to go out. Ordered using my phone and had delivery in about an hour. Food was exactly as ordered. Shrimp fried rice was good but could have had a few more shrimp. Several sushi and California rolls. Ample extras such as ginger and wasabi. Will definitely keep this restaurant on the "order again" list.

Okay food, dismal service

By Gustavo A |

This is an average Thai restaurant that could bea lot better with just a few changes. Sevice is dismal; they are grossly understaffed, and the manners of the waiters/waitresses leaves a lot to be desired. The food is average, with the exception of the spare ribs, that are very good. I used to orfder by phone for personal pick up. That works better than sitting down at the table.

Just in the neighborhood

By spodgaetz |

We were about 20 blocks from the restaurant on our way to the beach, to visit another thai restaurant, but we came upon Siam Rice and I promptly looked it up on TripAdvisor, 4 stars made us turn and Park our car there. We were pleasantly surprised, we ordered the Gyoza, fried, but they don't pan fry it they deep fry it which is not that good. Nevertheless we ate them all, and it had a really good flavor. We ordered Pad Thai and Chicken in ginger sauce, everything was delicious! Service was prompt and courteous. We will visit again.

Excelent food

By Lim A |

I went to this restaurant Saturday afternoon with some friends for lunch. We had a great time, the food was awesome. I do not rate it 5 stars because the service was kind of slow. Other than that, I really recommend this place.

Good food

By Doessound |

Came here with friends and didn't disappoint. Service was a bit slow but only 1 server on so she did her best. The food came it looked really good and tasted fab so I will definitely come here again.

Always Consistent!

By Cesar291 |

I have been coming here for the past couple of years and what keeps me returning is the consistency in quality Nd value this neighborhood restaurant offers. Although it offers Thai and Japanese, I usually go for the sushi which is always fresh and well presented. It is a great spot for lunch as they have good lunch specials.

A Pleasant Surprise

By BuceriasBoy |

This is a humble and down to earth neighborhood restaurant with excellent food and service. We chose Thai entrees. Would return in a flash if we were in the area.

Great Thai Food

By WilliamMilian |

I visit regularly this restaurant. The food is great and prices are impossible to match. Service is good as well, little slow at times. I would recommended to everyone!

A bit inconsistent, but GREAT when you hit it right

By MiamiStacy |

Been going to this location for at least 15 years when it was still Spyro....it's gone through many changes, but still seems to be going strong...the Thai is good and the Sushi too, but the quality is inconsistent .....it's never bad though...

The best Thai!

By Liz P |

This place is like my second kitchen. I eat here every week for many years. The food is delicious and fresh. People are always nice and polite to me. The restaurant decor is very simple and outdated but if you want to try a good Thai meal this is the place!

Great Thai Place

By Vivilodge |

Family lunch turned really good, in fact great thanks to the staff. Service started a bit confusing but once I spoke with one of the servers assisting us and she explained she was new working there it made sense and everything was on wheels. Food was really good but the Red curry beef is delicious and very saucy, sushi was fresh and waiter knew items well, not crowded which was good and service was fast. We'll come back!!!

We are happy to walk for 25 minutes to eat here

By SimonHodges1 |

Delicious food and extensive menu. Pleasant surroundings with attentive and quick service. We are returning for a third night. Very good value indeed.

Great Food

By Ting B |

The location of this restaurant is in a questionable area but the food is probably the best thai food there is in Miami. They deliver and they deliver quickly. I can always count on the quality of food and it is always consistent. The prices are also reasonable.

Walked into the restaurant around 8 PM Saturday night approximately 25 other guest enjoying their meals I was greeted immediately with smiles and friendship I server approached me explain to her what I was looking for being that I was new to the Thai food restaurant she brought me a tomato bisque soup which was made fresh delicious appetizer was fried Gyoza And then for dessert was a mango rice I was so full at the end of the night I could not eat another bite the only thing that needs to be paid attention to in this restaurant is by the sushi bar they were three chairs where the seats were all torn up parking was very difficult

Thai One on

By moosiegordon |

Great Pad Thai. It had Beef, Pork, Chicken and Shrimp in it. The chopped onions and vegetables gave it such a wonderful flavor. There was such a huge portion that my husband and I shared it. The won ton soup was also delicious. Many won tons stuffed with pork and shrimp. Steamingly hot and delish!

Yum

By moosiegordon |

Great service and excellent Thai food. Recommend Pad Thai with chicken, Pork, beef and shrimp. So good. Big enough for 2 people.

Good Sushi and good Thai food

By Gilles K |

The food was very fresh and the service was very good. They also have good and fair prices and you definitly want to test the homemade iced tea thai style. We can definitly recommend this place and will return when we are back in Miami. One only thing is, that you should really park close to the restaurant, as the neighborhood seems a little weired.

Excellent

By Akmaral N |

Me and my friends had lunch and dinner at the same day and it was PERFECT! The food was amazing. So delicious. Much better even many restaurants in Thailand. Staff was friendly and nice. Unfortunately we didn’t ask name of our waiter. Very young guy from Mongolia. He is super nice and very helpful. Thank you very much all. Definitely we will come back. Highly recommend.

A regular lunch and dinner spot

By Martin T |

As the other reviews mention, this place is nothing to look at on the outside, inside is quaint and the wait staff very friendly. They are open til 11 which is handy. Great soups! Everything, including the sauces are made in house. They deliver too.

Better than it looks from the outside

By Eric M |

I don't usually trust a place that offers two distinctly different cuisines. And I would NEVER order sushi delivered from a place where I haven't seen how the fish is handled first. Yet this place is close to our home in Miami Shores and we love both styles of cooking equally. My daughter, age 10, her Uncle Steve and I have eaten inside this restaurant twice, and one time (July 16, 2012) I ordered for delivery. Since the early 80s I've tried nearly every dish available on a typical Thai or Japanese menu. Some things I love, some things I don't, but I can distinguish between fresh and frozen or overcooked and underdone. The bottom line: I have never received an item from this restaurant that was poorly prepared. To be fair, this place executes its menu items as though there are two kitchens and two chefs, or the kitchen staff is schizophrenic. I disagree that the sushi is tasteless--maybe because I like stuff like wasabi and soy sauce to liven things up a bit. My favorites, the orange "caviar," eel, tuna belly, octopus, dolphin, were perfect--the nigiri had fish pieces that were not too thick, yet the sashimi was thinly sliced to melt on the tongue. The rolls are more traditional than innovative. On the Thai side, the massaman curry is as good as any I've tried anywhere else. Hearty and full-flavored with cardamom, tamarind, coconut, cashew, chunks of potato and chiles, this dish is soul-satisfying. The pad thai is wonderful, not too sweet and generously spiked with garlic, coriander and lime. Also excellent was the Spicy Squid Salad ("Jumping Squid") although they kept the hot chiles to a minimum since it was a delivery order. Chewy-tender pieces of squid cross-hatched and grilled lightly bathed in a chile-lime-scallion dressing simply explode in your mouth. The service is typically friendly and efficient. As your food is ready, it's brought to you. The restaurant interior is restrained in Japanese style, not over the top with color and wacky statuettes of elephant gods, a bit worn like the exterior. I only wish the food that was delivered was hotter, but then our house is kind of hard to find. We like this place a lot and will continue to patronize it.

Delicious comfort food!

By Stefani S. |

Their lunch specials are truly a life saver! I'm a fan of the Thai Basil sauce special, or their Classic Pad Thai with tofu.

Hard to find gem!

By sam71000 |

Fabulous food and service which is exceptionally hard to find in Miami!! Proper authentic Thai food, generous portions good service and value for money!! Maybe the best food I had in Miami and not adapted/modified to American tastebuds but original, true and wholesome!! Highly recommended! True Thai experience.

Delicious, Reasonably Priced and a Relaxing Experience!

By JazzLotus |

This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. I am a regular and am greeted warmly when I enter. The portions here are generous, and the food is fresh and tasty. This restaurant has a low-key style and atmosphere, and is very spacious, so it is always a relaxing experience eating here. Also, since it is a large restaurant, I have never had to wait for a table. I know the waitstaff and they are all really friendly and nice! They have a great lunch special for $7.99 and it goes till 4 pm, which is longer than most.

Best quality / price asian in town

By Lorenzaccio03 |

I tried this restaurants a few months ago, I was dubitative the first timea beacause the restaurant is facade of the restaurant is any... but when the dishes came (tahi lunch formula at 7.99!) I was suprise by the quality of the food, tasty fresh, delicicious totaly home made. It became one of my favourites places and I never have been disapponted. I also have a good suprise with sushi, they are truly good, I too awau one night a boat for 2 I had more than expecte in a very vell presented round plate and we had to eat for the next day too. So many prestaurants in Miami are overated, this one is one of the best thai sushi and one of the cheapest !

Great food and great services

Good Food for Good Price

By CaptainBud |

The menu is large but there are great luncheon specials at super prices. My son and I selected Thai luncheons and we both ordered a soup to start. Combined with the luncheon included salad, it was almost too much food to eat - but we did it - and the price was pleasantly acceptable.

Excellent Thai food

By Kirbou |

Food was very good, quick service and fairly large serving. We found the menu a little overwhelming because of the number of items listed, it was lunch time and they had a couple of specials, so we simplified by ordering the specials. But, this is typical of any Asian restaurant

Anniversary take put

By Chip T |

My wife and I, not standing on ceremony, decided to have Anniversary Take Out. We both got pad Thai, medium spicy, one chicken and one shrimp. Ordered thru their website, paying as well. When I arrived my meal was ready in 2 minutes. I drove home, 10 minutes, and arrived to find a tightly wrapped togo, still warm, and protected in my drive from typical nutty South Florida drivers. Food was hot, perfectly spicy, and quality. I have eaten here before but not take put. So impressed with the care they took with my togo. See pic.

Mediocre at Best

By outNabout23 |

I was excited to try this restaurant after reading the reviews. I ordered a lot of chicken dishes including Pad Thai with chicken. All the chicken was extremely dry and very disappointing. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Maybe I would try again ordering other than chicken dishes

Lunch

By Jesse W |

We have driven by this place for eight years and finally went in. A winner! Clean, bigger, and more upscale than I imagined (Tablecloths, good service). The food was excellent, I loved the flat noodles with shrimp and my partner had a Bento Box. Even strong, good Iced tea- an elusive find in Miami!
