Perfect Date place

If you are trying to spend some quality time with someone special this is the place for you. Make sure you have plenty of time to enjoy this place. 2 to 2.5 hours.

Delicious, and romantic

By Dana M |

Similar to a Melting Pot restaurant...delicious food, my husband and I gorged ourselves, couldn't put the fondue forks down. Best deal is the 4 course dinner!

Come hungry! you wont leave here without a large meal

Loved this place

Really good fondue, we have the beer cheese and the chocolate fondue. It is very fresh and they make it all at your table for you. Really good , great place for couples

Fantastic Night

By Christine E |

Last night was a great experience! Every employee that we came in contact with, was friendly. Our waiter was on it! He made sure we wanted for nothing. The food was wonderful. The salmon was my favorite. We will differently be back. My husband and I go out to eat at least once a week, and to say this was the best service we have had in a while, is an understatement!

A Nice Date Place

By SusanDFW |

My husband and I went there to use a Living Social deal he got. We ordered cocktails and it took a while to decide because they have a great selection. I got the cucumber and ginger martini and it was good. My husband had the Moscow Mule and I liked that a little better. Then we ordered the Swiss cheese fondue and it was very good. We had the wedge salads and enjoyed them, although they are not the traditional wedges with blue cheese -- they had cheddar cheese and ranch dressing, but were tasty. For our entree we had the combination meat with the oil cooking method and it was really good. We were so full by that time that we couldn't even finish all of it. We never made it to the chocolate fondue. Overall, the setting was really nice, the service good and we had a relaxing and pleasant date night.

Well worth the short wait. Food was good. Experience was fun.

4 of us split two combo meals. We had two types of cheese fondue and then each person selected their own meats. I enjoyed the retro Fondue experience The quality of the meats was quite good.

Great staff

The food is amazing and the staff is also great. We have gone 2 times now, and we can’t wait for our next visit

Enjoyable experience and good food

By apersistent1 |

This was hard for me to rate, because I really enjoyed the dinner and thought the food was good. I kind of wanted to rate it 3.5 - a bit better than average, but I couldn't quite give it 4 stars. We chose this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, and everyone in our group of six did enjoy the meal. We opted to go with the "Classic" fondue at $45 per person, which we thought was reasonable since it included cheese fondue, salad, your choice of three meats/fish, and dessert fondue. (Note: EACH individual in the party gets to choose their own 3 meat/fish selections. You do have to decide as a group which cooking style you want, which two cheese fondues, and which two dessert fondues.) We thought the cheese fondues we selected (Mediterranean and Spicy) were both very good, although the burners could have been turned a bit higher because they were pretty thick - or maybe they just needed to add a bit more liquid. The salads were just the right size, with the spinach and strawberry salad being a favorite, although the dressing was a bit sweet. The meats were good. My daughter really enjoyed the garlic chicken, we all enjoyed the peppered beef, the teriyaki was good. Others in the party had salmon and said it was good, as was my shrimp. The dessert fondues were also good, and they make a nice presentation by lighting them on fire (using everclear). They brought two huge plates of dipping stuff - pretzels, brownies, poundcake, fruit, marshmallows, cheesecake...it was way more than we needed after eating the big meal. Nonetheless, we did our best to eat every bit of the chocolate! We ordered the chocolate raspberry fondue mostly because we wanted the dark chocolate. As many other reviewers have said, we really couldn't taste any raspberry at all. We also ordered the S'mores fondue and it was fine. Our waiter, DeMarcus, was upbeat and attentive, and he made the experience enjoyable. The owner, Tony, stopped by to ask us if all was okay, and we had absolutely no complaints about food or service. We were celebrating a birthday, and they did bring a free glass of champagne and large piece of cheesecake for the birthday girl. For the few downsides: Yes, it does smell like oil when you walk in, but that really didn't detract from our meal. We chose to go with the broth based fondues because we actually like that cooking style much better. We were a bit crowded at our table, though, and it was hard to find place to put all the plates of food, sauces, our dinner plates, utensils, etc. In fact, several of us had to stack our plate of uncooked food on top of our dinner plate. The drink menu is pretty large, but we thought the drinks were just okay. I've had better martinis. That being said, we were there for the food and the experience, and we enjoyed both.

Fun food!

By MEVV |

I have been here with my husband and with my kids. The concept is fun, the food is good, the service is great. The food takes a little while to cook, so the kids were getting restless, but as soon as the dessert came, they were all better!

Birthday Dinner

By Madison M |

Went there just last night and the food was amazing! The service was the best! This was one of the best birthday's I have had in a while!

Five stars

By David R |

The evening started with drinks made perfectly to our direction. The the stages of fonduewere impeccable. At every stage there was our server to make sure we were satisfied. All good perfect and at the end of the evening the owner came out to make sure we were happy. A great beginning to our evening. Thank you Simply Fondue!!!

Best Service EVER!!

By diane r |

Simply Fondue, on Greenville, has a new owner, and they’re rolling out the red carpet to give you an enjoyable experience. My husband and I took my Mom to Simply Fondue to celebrate her Birthday. She has some food allergy issues and everyone, from the Serving Staff, to the Chef, to the Owner went out of their way to accommodate her needs and make it an occasion to remember. Mom loved her special day! If you’re looking for an experience that’s more than just eating out, this would be an excellent choice.

Great Experience for family or date night out!

By Penny J |

The food is fabulous and the service is solid. Such a fun experience and a decent wine list. Seems to have a wait later in the week so reservations are key (OpenTable). We do the dinner which is more than enough food but a value at the same time - try the beer cheese, wedge salad, shrimp, scallops and the salted caramel chocolate! You won't regret it :)

very good very fun

By BRANDON B |

wide variety of healthy and not as healthy choices..... all the meats and veggies are very fresh and CHEESE!!!! wide assortment of wonderful cheese to dip your food in.

Great food & excellent service

By unebellefemme07 |

I was here with couple of friends. We've ordered the full course meal, $45 per person. It was worth it. I've been to other fondue restaurants and it's much more expensive. The food came out great, the dessert was the highlight. You can mix the chocolate flavors. The servers do a very good job by keeping up with customers needs. Simply fondue also provide free valet service for their customers. Excellent service! It gets busy, I'd recommend to make a reservation versus walk in.

Fondue family fun

By Jonathan D |

Went with the kids for their first fondue dinner experience. Pricey, but not more than usual, and worth it for the experience. They push the pre-fix, which is soooo much food. We took a lot of it home. I might do a la cart next time. Service was warm and friendly. Two thumbs up from me.

Food, service, Atmosphere great, They do not honor Living Social coupons

By hawkesk2016 |

My wife and I dined there for New Year's Eve, I have to say we really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. I had nothing but praise for them until I received the bill. $196.00 for two people. I had a $50.00 Living Social Voucher to use and they would not honor it. The voucher states that it much be used on a weekday, which it was and that it cannot be used on a holiday. New Year's Eve is not a holiday. After pointing this out to the owner, he called New Year's Eve a "social holiday" and still refused to accept it. As a matter of principle, I will not be going back.

Better Than the Melting Pot. Romantic place for Date Night!

By Lisa |

I love going to fondue style restaurants because it is romantic, fun and its a long dinner in which you can take the time to enjoy your partner. We had a bad experience with the melting pot (see review) so we decided to try Simply Fondue out. So much better and they definitely have our business from now on! This place gives you more meats and the batter option to add batter to the meats, veges and cheese balls. Every course was very good. We went with thier original two course with canola oil and the Heath crunch chocolate. The waiter was great, even the manager came by to see how we were. We were stuffed after the dinner. it was so much food that my fiance and i could not eat all of the meats or dessert! We were very impressed with this place. Parking is always a hassle but with that said anywhere you go on Greenville Ave is always a hassle but its worth it. We went on a Sunday night so parking wasn't too bad a restaurant was not overly crowded. Great job to Simply Fondu - We will be back!

Best Restaurant Experience I've had in YEARS

By Ella May |

My husband and I wanted a nice evening out, and we were so wonderfully, pleasantly surprised at this amazing find!!! We found this place through Groupon and I can assure you I'll be back on all my special occasions (a little too pricey to be coming too regularly!) I'm glad we did get the Groupon because we got the full experience with the 4 course meal. We were so full we had to bring some home! Every bite was wonderful. Especially the white chocolate bananas foster dessert! Mmmm. Thank you Simply Fondue for a simply wonderful evening.

Great spot, first time for the kids.

By morrison1204 |

We brought our children for the first real fondue (outside of making cheese fondue at home), they took pictures of everything. Presentation was wonderful and staff very attentive. I suggest going early for the early bird special if your bringing the whole family.

Fabulous if you know what to expect

By lw12 |

Okay your going to a restaurant, but you cook your own food. I love this restaurant. My husband and I dined here on a saturday night for our anniversary. The waiter was incredible, he asked if there was a special occaision and he gave us complimentary glasses of champaigne to accompany our desert. The atmosphere was excellent. The service was good. I will be coming back again.

Good for group of friends. Fun.

Okay service turned into bad service quickly

By Laurie L |

Visited Texas this past weekend and Simply Fondue use to be one of my must haves when I visited Dallas. Not any more. Monday, as a party of five, we ate at Simply Fondue. I think the quality of food has gone down hill. Steak was mediocre at best. Took over 15 minutes to get the tempura and then over 30 minutes for dessert. We were at the restaurant for over three hours! Won't be in a hurry to come back.

Great food and atmosphere on Lower Greenville

By midwstgirl |

We had a Groupon, but still had been wanting to eat here. It was so worth it, even if we hadn't had the discount. Small-ish space and soft lighting made it intimate and cozy. But bonus on the seating, with COVID the booths are all high-backed, we felt safe. Also the staff check temperatures and were very good about properly masking up. We had Kealon----what a charming guy. He was new but we'd never had known it if they hadn't told us. Very professional and attentive. Actually everyone was---from the gentleman constantly circling with water to the Manager who checked on every table at meal's end. The food is great and you get so much. So fresh and tender. We're beef people, one of us had the tuna, we also had shrimp. Nothing smelled fishy--all fresh! Good crisp veggies, good bread, and great salads. Wine list had some nice affordable selections, we had a bottle of Malbec. We shall return. Oh, bonus for now anyway: free parking in lot behind the restaurant. A rarity on this strip of Greenville.

Awful treatment - mediocre food

By Lee L |

They hire employees who have been arrested for forgery (gee I really want that person handling my credit card!). When I brought this to the attention manager of the Dallas location (Greenville Ave). She told me that didn’t matter to her and spent 10 minutes swearing at me for bringing this to her attention (on the street in front of the restaurant). She was personally insulting me as well. She also said not to bother filing a complaint because she’s in charge of that location. Very unprofessional with questionable hiring practices. Apparently criminals are welcome to apply - beware diners.

Nightmare on Greenville Avenue

By Footprints19321 |

Let me begin by saying that I have been dining in this establishment now for 11 years. I have never had bad service before last night. My waiter has usually been a guy named Johnny, whom I was told does not affiliate himself with this restaurant anymore, and I see why. Last night my family and I drove over 2 hours just to have dinner here. We had to call on the way to make reservations as there is no way to make them in advance on-line and when you call around their business hours, the phone just rings and rings. So as we drove to Dallas, we were "hopeful" that we might be able to get a reservation without a long wait. As it turned out, we finally called and got an answer and made the reservation just as we were getting into Dallas. When we arrived there was no wait at all, which was nice. It was early in the evening, but I used to dine here 2-3 times per month and I have never before seen the place so empty. We were seated in a booth that had a new burner. This burner was so hot that we were all sweating within 30 minutes. It was so miserable that we discussed leaving before the entree came out. You can expect that it might get a little warm, as I have encountered in the past. The new burners are faster, but they are also much hotter. Which is more important... Well dining used to take atleast 2 hours. Last night we were done in half the time, but the experience was not memorable as it has been for us in the past. Our waiter's name was Tommy. Tommy loves to talk about how he is his wife's legal guardian so that when they go to a bar, she can drink. He also loves to talk about his addiction to video games...... It was the most obnoxious obtrusive waiter I have ever encountered... EVER. The menu pricing changed also. THE PRICES HAVE TRIPLED. When we would go as a family of four, our bill was usually between $60-$70. When I received our check last night, our bill with tip exceeded $200. Tommy tried to explain the changes in menu options and pricing to us, to no avail. It was confusing and misleading. The food was just a good as always, and there were more choices, but dealing with the waiter continually speaking about himself made this night a 3 out of 10 on the fun scale. When you have bad service, it almost does not matter how good or bad the food is. The experience is lessened and is not memorable. The place did not fill-up and this was Saturday night and 4th of July weekend, so something is wrong. I will never go back. It was a horrible experience. Burger King would have been an improvement and much cheaper too.... Stay away from this one. If you are going to spend that kind of money, try the Palm or Riviera. I bet those waiters take better care of you and speak less about their own dysfunctions...

Will Work for Food

By BiddingForTravel |

That's what I felt like...having to work for my dinner. Way too much work for me. The lighting in the restaurant is awful. I could not read the menu without a flashlight, The food was OK but nothing special. I do not plan to return.

Great Experience

By Cheryl S |

We had never been before and we had a Groupon. Ordered the French Onion Swiss cheese fondue andmy husband and I shared it. It was plenty. Then next course we ordered was the a la carte Beef Tenderloin. The beef melted in your mouth. We cooked it ourself in a big iron skillet in butter. It also had vegetables. Then we ordered the Original Dutch Chocolate Fondue with nuts. All of the goodies were delicious. Even got to roast marshmellow on the flambee. We were so full and so glad we went.

Fun time and good food

By Travel-a-holic |

Fun Experience. Bring someone who's never been and share the experience w them. We've had the cheddar and the spicy jack cheeses. My daughter was concerned it would be too spicy… So we had them leave out some of the cayenne. It was fabulous. That's our favorite of the two! We've enjoyed our servers both visits. The drinks are tasty, but weak, especially for the price. Overall great experience. :-) DeMarcus, our server was fabulous, especially with our kiddos. Ask for him!!!!! Ben, the GM was very accommodating.

Ask for Tabitha

By Meagan B |

Our waitress was fantastic. We normally go to the Fort Worth location but had a groupon specific to this location. We were one of the first tables in but it filled up quickly. Tabitha was amazing. She stayed on top of us during the courses, offered fantastic suggestions, and brought us champagne. She gave us two separate dessert fondues and lit them on fire so we could roast marshmallows. Tabitha really made this experience for us and we will definitely return to this location exclusively from now on.

Fun Dinner

By Thetravelingtoads |

Be prepared for a lengthy visit as it takes a while to cook each morsel. The restaurant is dark and dingy and they were playing loud country music. They turned the music down at our request so it wasn't too bad. On a Monday evening, the place wasn't very busy at all. Jose waited on us and did a great job explaining how everything worked. We started off with a cheese fondue. We got the Swiss Chalet and this has a pretty strong flavor so if you aren't a big cheese lover, try something with cheddar. The wedge salad was really good. Loved the crisp bacon and creamy dressing. We went with the traditional oil for the main course. Mushrooms were awesome. We each tried to order different proteins so we could share. Loved everything we tried. Finished off with the dessert fondue. We really had a lot of fun. It was nice to have a meal where we weren't rushed and we spent time talking instead of looking at our phones. We found a Groupon offer so saved a goodly amount on the meal as this is not a cheap place to eat.

Jumped the Shark

By Robyn M |

Used to be one of our go to restaurants. We would go at least once a quarter for several years. We went tonight and the service was terrible and the new manager was indifferent about the fact our service was so bad. We had to make our own cheese, we were not checked on ONCE after the entree was delivered. Tony - you need to step up your game. Will NOT be back. Melting Pot, you have new customers based on the fact Simply Fondue can't or won't take care of business. This should be a zero star, but that isnt an option. Miss the old staff and the excellent service we used to get.

Which my feet touched the floor, otherwise, enjoyable!

By Luluhalabaloo |

I was on the last days of my Groupon and they extended it to the weekend, which I really appreciated. I love the location on Greenville. We were seated quickly and in a good location - the booths are small a bit, but intimate and we could not hear other patrons talk which I really appreciated. The waiter was extremely good - attentive, fun, explanatory. The menu is not very clear so if you are trying to figure out what is cheaper - a la carte or the combos, I gave up and chose the combo and I don't like having to do that. We ordered the 3 course combo. We had the Wisconsin cheese fondue for appetizer - it was created very nicely, and it was good. Each ingredient was checked with us before being added which I appreciated. We chose the Canola oil for the meats, and for the meats the outstander was the 4 pepper beef, the coconut shrimp and the mushrooms. The curry dip was the best in our opinion. We only battered the vegetables, and there are two kinds of batters - the sesame one is thicker but super tasty but the regular is lighter. I had just washed my hair yesterday when we went and today, I do not smell like anything but the conditioner in my hair. We chose the original chocolate fondue for dessert, and the chocolate was great and yes, it had a flame, but take your marshmallow and roast them like in a camp - wow, that was good. The best was the rice krispie treats dipped. The chocolate was smooth and not too sweet, although I would've have preferred way more fruit (strawberries in particular) which is my only regret. I had a class of house (Woodbridge) merlot which was very reasonably priced as was the soft drink. All in all, we were there 2.5 hours, enjoyed every minute of it. I took one star off for the lack of fruit offered for the dessert fondue and the decor which while I liked the darkness, I wouldn't necessarily want to see it in light as it looked very dated and old and I don't like the entrance at all. Oh yes, my feet didn't touch the ground when was sitting which I absolutely cannot tolerate and my feet swelled up like balloons and that wasn't good either. Please remodel this place!!! Otherwise my son and I really did enjoy ourselves and the food.

Fondue fun

By Travel-a-holic |

This is probably our fifth or sixth time to visit this restaurant. We’ve come as a couple, we brought the children, we brought friends. It’s always a hit! We’ve always had very courteous and kind servers. Tonight I think it was our favorite server ever. His name was Kai, not sure of the spelling. He text such pride in his job in explaining everything to us. He was very kind and it seem like he always anticipated what we wanted next or how we wanted something, I don’t know I’ve experienced service like that in a long time, if ever. As a business owner, I know this type of employee is hard to fine!! Definitely will not leave hungry if you do the feast. I’m really not sure what it’s called on the menu, but it’s a salad, cheese fondue, protein, with veggies, and your dessert fondue. I encourage you, if you’ve never been go… If you’ve been before, go back, my daughter said! LOL

Amazing Evening

By rmhbanda |

If you're looking for something different and fun, try Simply Fondue. Great restaurant, with great atmosphere, food, and service. We celebrated our48th anniversary here and had a great time. Jake was an awesome attendant. He was never pushy, always there to help or ask if we needed anything. I highly recommend him. Try this place, you'll be glad you did.

Average Food.. dimply lit and and dated interiors and not good value

By Bappa R |

I never tried this restaurant and Fondue for that matter. I realized I wasn't missing much. The location of the restaurant is not the best and the interior is dimly lit and dated and there's a lingering smell of yesterdays food in the air. I think an interior update and better ventilation would do wonders. I did like the cheese fondue with the bread, the staff was friendly.. The other items were grilled or fried in oil .. your choice. Expect to spend about $50 per person so its not great value when you consider a bunch of similar place like Mondolian grills/ hotpots or Gyu kaku Japanese grill which serve very similar items with better sauces for half the price, better interiors but no cheese :(. I expected the location to be more upscale and nicer for the prices.

Simply fantastic!

By laniecraig |

We used a Groupon to try them out and we were so surprised at how awesome it truly was. The food was very high quality and the service was impeccable! It is an interactive meal that you help prepare at the table. We did the traditional cook style and want to go try the other 2. Overall I would highly recommend for a fun date or girls night out! Cocktails were also top shelf!

Simply Amazing!!!

By Cheryl V |

Sincerely delicious and the ambience was beautiful. Our server Theo was outstanding giving us good direction for us who have experienced fondue only once before. Music was perfect, lighting was great, didn't feel rushed and enjoyed every dip, spin, and skewered bite. The owner was onsite and working in the kitchen and came out and made his rounds meeting people. Go, sit and enjoy the moment. We were there about two hours and it was perfect. Go Fondue!!!

Worst Dining Experience Ever.

By Leela L |

Dinner at Simply Fondue was by far my WORST dining experience ever. When we arrived, they did not have a record of our reservation, which I made several days in advance. The hostess went to the back for about 10 minutes to "look on another piece of paper to see if somebody wrote it down somewhere else." Long after we were finally seated, our very awkward server appeared. He didn't look at us the whole time he talked--instead he looked at the door or up at the ceiling, or at another table... it was really weird and continued throughout the whole night. We looked at the menu, which was drastically different from what was online (and a major reason why we were excited to go), and awkward waiter said, "Uh, yeah, that's the corporate website, not the local franchise one so it's really different"-- even though we looked at that specific location's menu... None of the wines were the same, the prices were different, and they didn't even offer a basic vegetable bouillon (which was included on the website)... But we were determined to have a good time so we found some other wines and ordered away. Unfortunately, the evening got progressively worse. Our cheese course included many ingredients not on the menu and ones we didn't like, and the awkward waiter splashed cheese on my date while stirring... classy. He brought me a glass of wine with lipstick on the rim and when I pointed it out, he rolled his eyes and stormed off to get me another glass. It took 35 minutes until we were able to place our dinner order and when we did, we were informed that they were out of a few of their meats (you couldn't tell us that before we decided?). Then he brought the salads and cheese at the same time... um, not sure what we were supposed to do with that. After that, we waited an extremely long time for our main course. We decided on the "Scandinavian" cooking style since we didn't want a deep fried dinner (if we wanted that, we could have gotten fast food) and those were the only two options on the menu that were included with the $78 meal unless we wanted to pay extra. The Scandinavian was a "grill" (really just a skillet with a ton of oil). Another guy brought the food out and told us that everything would take 5 minutes to cook (shrimp, chicken, beef, etc.) and to check the chicken before we ate it to make sure it was done otherwise it could be dangerous (pretty hard to tell since the restaurant is pretty dark and cooking time significantly varies depending on placement on the skillet). I'm surprised there aren't more food poisoning stories about this place. Halfway through our main course, awkward waiter came over and told us we weren't cooking our food fast enough and proceeded to throw our uncooked food onto the grill. (what?!) We asked for a dessert drink list and he said they didn't have one. He told us the two options and we ordered one glass of one of the port wines. He brought two glasses. When we told him we only wanted one, he said, "I don't care, just keep them both, I"ll take it off your bill," which is certainly a nice gesture, but he could have been a little less rude about it. I had called ahead and told them we were celebrating a special occasion but clearly this is not the place to celebrate anything special. The food was okay but ruined by the overtly terrible service. We dine out quite often in Dallas, and I would highly suggest taking your date to Velvet Taco over this place for a much better dining experience. Clearly, we will not be returning and I would warn anyone else against sufficing yourself to this kind of service.

Not so good, not terrible."

By kwadeb |

WE were nearly the only patrons on a Monday night. Had a quiet, simple meal of salads, classic cheese fondue and wine. Fondue was bland and a pretty small portion for $17. Salads were tasty but also on the small side for $7 each. Wine list has a number of very reasonably priced wines. Quiet atmosphere was not enough to overcome the bland food and high prices.

Wonderful Experience!

By Missy G |

My husband and I took our kids here for a one of a kind dining experience. I was a little apprehensive of the location as it looks like it is in an old part of the town. It is in an old part, but what you can't tell on Google street view is that the city has worked wonderfully to bring it back to life. The street is full of quaint nightlife with young people and families. We wished we would have found this area earlier in the week. The meal is expensive, but definitely worth it. We did the full, amazing, four courses. The restaurant is under new management and you can tell that he is working very hard to make each dinner the best. We were there for a couple of hours and were completely happy the whole time. The food is amazing, the experience is entertaining and the service was great! My kids were impressed and loved it. Hopefully we will find ourselves back in Dallas and Simply Fondue in the near future!

charge FULL local taxes when using voucher/coupon

By bravestrong |

Beware! if you're using a voucher or coupon at Simply Fondue, they will charge local taxes on the ENTIRE amount, even after deducting the cost of the discounted item(s). I use a lot of coupons/vouchers and have NEVER had any of them (salons, restaurants, car care, etc) charge on the FULL amount. if you negotiate a good price in buying a vehicle, would you expect to pay taxes on the MSRP or the amount you agreed to pay for the vehicle?? you WILL be paying on the MSRP at Simply Fondue, so your coupon/voucher isn't as valuable as it appears. Be forewarned! food was OK....they skimmed on many of the veges....tons of carrots and few mushrooms. and the dippable desserts were chock full of marshmellows and very little fruit. our meal was unhurried, largely b/c we were practically the only ones in there on a Sunday night

Mark is an attentive and friendly server, and Stephanie is completely lovely and super efficient.

By Scarlett |

We came in for a Tuesday night dinner on a whim (I definitely recommend making a reservation any night), and both the GM Stephanie, and or server Mark were friendly and took Great care of us. Even with several other tables, and only the 2 of them in FOH, the level of attention and conversation felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant, but they never hovered or smothered us. Mark makes a heckuva cheese pot, and his quiet humor is just as good. We ordered the Melt of the Month, which was a loaded baked potato style cheese that was suuuper tasty, and the chunks of goodies kept it interesting for my sometimes-picky palette. In addition to great conversation, Stephanie makes a delicious and well balanced cocktail! We had The Skittles and a Huckleberry Lemondrop, and both were perfectly made. (Don't eat the pretty little flower floating in the Lemondrop - it's bitter, like a flower. Because it's a flower. The marachino cherry garnish on The Skittles was tasty.) If we come back to Dallas, Simply Fondue will be at the top of our list for a nice dinner. Thanks, y'all!!

Fantastic Party Night!

By FrostJourneys |

We held our staff Christmas party at Simply Fondue and it was a perfect venue! We rented the entire restaurant and everyone had a great time! We did a progressive dinner where we changed tables after the cheese course and main course. Made for lively conversation. Most in attendance had never had fondue and really enjoyed the process of dipping and cooking their food. The atmosphere was perfect. The owner Tony has done a great job on the interior updates and the restaurant was nicely decorated for Christmas. The staff was very professional. I can imagine that Simply Fondue would be great for date night (the atmosphere is quite romantic and there is a full bar). I can assure it is a wonderful venue for small or large parties. Enjoy!

An excellent fondue experience

By Ian M |

I went to Simply Fondue as we had been several years back and decided to go back whenever there was a groupon for it. We had been here before so we knew what to expect coming in. The atmosphere, though very dark, fits with the type of restaurant that it is. The service was good and so was the food. However, be forewarned that the wine list is absolutely terrible. On the other hand, the wine isnt too expensive since most of it is $8-$12 bottles they probably purchase from Sam's Club. However the food experience is worth it and fun for a romantic setting or a special occasion/group. The cheese fondue is delicious and reminds me of the cheese fondues I have had in Switzerland. The entrees are fun and you have a large variety of options to choose from. The desserts all look delicious and each that have had has been well worth it. Have fun, try a variety of different items, and take your time enjoying the experience.

First time here was a hit with whole family!

We had 2 adult mix platters and 2 kids platters. Not the cheapest dinner, but food was great and a good treat. Dessert was pretty amazing.

Good fondu expensive drinks

By Marine03 |

I went with my wife on a Saturday night we had 730 reservations but arrived at 645 and it was no problem seating us early. The owner seated us and was very friendly. The entire staff was friendly actually however it seemed like our server was learning still because things like an empty beer bottle was left on the table after it was poured into the glass. In my opinion go with the classics. Fondu has been around for a long time so go with the Swiss Challet for the cheese fondu. It was very good our cheese cook said it went best with apples so I asked for more apples which they were happy to provide. The one no go for me was the drinks. Beer was the only normally priced item. I understand that the cocktails are supposedly prohibition era made with fresh herbs. But 18 bucks for a martini? If I'm going to pay that much I expect to be at a four seasons had the drinks been $12 I would have ordered two. Instead we each had one $6 beer. Overall I had a good time and enjoyed the experience just wish it had been priced a little better.

A evening out with friends!

Let me start by saying that I have enjoyed this dining experience and I will become a regular customer. The food was fabulous and the experience we recieved from the moment we sat down was by far the best service I have ever had.Our waiter ( Mark ) has made this a night to remember and I thankyou for all the time you spent making us feel special. I hope your employer truly values you and knows what q asset you truly are. I have never heard a server love his job as much as Mark does. He spent his time telling us the history of Simply Fondue and the menu and most of all the love and respect he has for the owner and the knowledge Mark has about the food and cooking qnd flavors is unmatched. From the exceptional cheese fondue he made from scratch at our table to the recommendations on our main course and our chocolate fondue experience as he so elegantly puts it. You are truly AMAZING. The food is good but Mark makes it a night to remember. The drinks he recommended were absolutely Devine there bartender is also amazing

Terrible Experience/Horrible Service: Not suitable for group events!

By SWTTraveler |

As my list of complaints is exhaustive I will try to be succinct. This was a birthday celebration with a party of 17 people. As a group we frequent many Dallas restaurant establishments and this one by far out did itself on HORRIBLE service. To begin with the menu on the website is not the same as the menu at the restaurant, especially the drink options. Although the web lists a full bar menu they told us they only served beer and wine. The waitress (Andre) was horrible. I called ahead letting them know it was a birthday event. I mentioned it to the waitress as well. Her response "I know". That was it, no warm welcome or interest in knowing who the birthday person was. No one bothered to ask or make mention of the birthday. The service was horrible. They skipped one person when taking the drink order then got an attitude when we mentioned it. It took 4 requests to finally get silverware that was initially missing from the place setting. Service was slow and both the servers assigned to our table were very indifferent to us. The food was mediocre and the portions small considering the $60 price tag. The pot warmers are built in to the table meaning several people have to share a pot. There were 5-6 pots that 17 people were supposed to share. They tell you it takes 7 minutes to cook your food and at one end of the table 5 people were stuck sharing one pot. Do the math!!! Oh yeah, and if you are vegetarian too bad, you have to share your broth with the non-vegetarians. Absolutely no accommodations made for vegetarian needs. The menu has several choices of broth (which you use to cook your own food) and the waitress recommended the Mediterranean one. She failed to mention it came with an additional fee. We found out when we got our bill. At first she said it was $5 per pot yet when we all looked at our bill it was $5 per person. At our insistence on clarification she said it was $5 per person not per pot. The menu simply has a number "5" next to the selection. No indication what the 5 is for. Worse of all, the waitress went on to get checks and collect payment from one half of the table knowing full well the other half of the table (the one stuck 5 people on 1 pot) was not done with dinner and still had dessert left. Half of the table got up to leave not realizing that others were not done. Why she thought getting checks for part of the table at a party event was a good idea is beyond me. She offered a rain check for dessert to those at the table that had not gotten their checks so, as she put it "you can all leave at the same time and come back another time for dessert". Really she though any of us wanted to come back. Maybe if she had bothered to find out who the host was and communicated with him, it may have gone differently. Of course this did not matter one bit to her. She collected her mandatory 18% gratuity regardless of her terrible serving skills, mediocre food and overpriced menu. We will not be returning to this place again. I wrote a letter to the restaurant with my complaints and never received any kind of response. Do Not go to this restaurant it's a waste of time and money.

Over priced

By slh2012 |

over priced. the fondue dessert is a good idea. other than that, it's not worth it. the manager (or the owner?) for that day was rather whiney. i didn't want to hear all the negatives. not a good experience. should just have simple fondue dessert or sweets.

Changes with new ownership; some good, some not...

By Tiffany Meraz |

I am a long time (10+ years), loyal patron of Simply Fondue on Greenville. This time my family and I went with our $50 Groupon. It was the first time I have been in approximately 12 months, so ownership has changed hands recently. Some cosmetic upgrades include new bar, new lighting fixtures and recovered seating areas. Looks like the place has had a "once over" thorough cleaning, so that was good. The menu size has significantly decreased. So, really as far as a full meal is concerned, the only option is the traditional four course for $45 per person. There is no longer the option to eliminate the salad as a course and pay for only 3 courses. So, we had to get the salads and they were ok. I was pleased with the price of the kids meal. $15 includes no salad, a little extra cheese fondue in your pot, three meat choices, and we got an extra chocolate option, so we had two chocos. The meat options for the kids meal were adult size, so that was good. Ok so, on to the cheese fondue. The cheese was over seasoned with the mustard/ginger tasting seasoning. It was a bit overwhelming. I commented to the waitress who advised that under new ownership, there was a push to add more flavors to the cheeses as part of a "fusion of flavors" concept. She offered to remake the cheese, but we declined. Just a heads up, if you like the traditional cheddar, and don't love mustard and ginger, request it be toned down a bit... Onto the meats: Our oil took 20 - 30 minutes to heat. It was like it wasn't even getting hot the first 15 mins. We weren't sure if there was a short in the burner or what, but it randomly shut itself off. Anyways... when the meats finally made it, they were a pleasant surprise. The portions were served on individual plates (by person) rather than one big plate with everyone's meat selections on it. They were nicely garnished and the portion sizes were very hearty. The size of the cuts on the kids meal were the same as the adults, so pretty generous. Overall, the size of the cuts and the way the meats are served and plated is an improvement. The new things I didn't like are that the sauces are now served in two, 3 section serving trays. They used to be in individual containers, which was easier to pass around the table. Now, if you are passing one sauce, you are passing all 3 on the tray and it takes longer. Additionally, the serving size of the sauces is smaller than it used to be, so we had to ask for more of two sauces a couple of times. The biggest negative change in this course is the elimination of the tempura batter. Again, under new ownership, the tempura batter was eliminated, so now, Sesame batter is your only choice. I am ok with sesame, but prefer tempura, so this was a sort of an unpleasant surprise. Chocolate: Because we had a kid, we got two chocolates, which was a nice surprise. The waitress made sure she lit the fire in both pots, which created a really big fire. This was obviously my daughter's most favorite part of the meal. The selection of dipping items was the same, but i think a couple of things are new, like pineapples and pretzels. After such a long dining experience (busy for a Sunday night with nasty weather) it was nice to end on a high note. Overall, there have been some changes with new ownership, some good, some not. The place definitely looks much better and is providing a better value for your money, as shown with the generous portion sizes and little extras. The downside is some of the burners on the table have issues (someone else was complaining about their burner not working too) which results in longer wait times and the "fusion of flavors" concept with the cheese was just too much for us traditional flavor fondue lovers... The lack of the traditional tempura batter was disappointing too. Recommendations: Understanding that you can't make everybody happy, consider: -make sure your servers monitor the burners for temp change more frequently, so they can address issues quickly. Customer satisfaction -give experienced diners the option to have tempura OR sesame batter. Or ask which ones they want and only give both when requested. $$ saver -ask experienced diners which sauces they want. We only use 2 of the 6. $$ saver We will return and love it when we catch a Groupon for the trip. The restaurant is definitely headed in a positive direction and is just having little growing pains in the process. Still good food. Still a unique experience.

Expensive but pleasant experience

By Julie R |

I went in with a Groupon that had unfortunately expired. It is definitely not a cheap meal, but fondue always tends to be expensive. We got cheese and chocolate fondues and they were both fabulous. We had a wonderful waiter. I do, however agree that it is too dark inside and parking was challenging. However, I loved the neighborhood. If we had more time, we would have spent some time walking around the area and enjoying the beautiful evening outdoors. I would go back, but only if I had an (unexpired) Groupon!

New Year Experience

By Jaime S |

This place is truly special for an intimate date night. We had never been here but decided to try it for New Years Eve. What a treat! It's not a modern or newly constructed place but it is nice. That extra special touch was when the owner approached the table and introduced himself. We stared with the the beer cheese fondue - veggies bread and spinach salad- I could have made a meal with this alone. We then had steak, chicken, shrimp and more veggies - all delicious! The highlight was dessert - milk chocolate fondue. The dessert put the meal over the top! A great meal, in a romantic setting with super service is a winner!

A fun and unique experience!

By MYF1007 |

I'd never been to the restaurant before, but had bought a TravelZoo local deal. It was a great value and my son, who's 11, thoroughly enjoyed the experience of being able to dip and cook his own food items. The experience was a little long--we were there 2 1/2 hours...a little long for kids, but it would be great for a nice, leisurely romantic meal.

Great Time, as Always

By Jay M |

My wife and I had yet another great experience at Simply Fondue on Greenville this past weekend. The server (Bryce if memory serves) was attentive, helpful, and very friendly. The cocktails (Planters Punch) were delicious, and the food was as good as its ever been. We stick to the basics, cheddar cheese to start, Caesar salads, traditional broth for cooking, and the milk chocolate fondue to end. As it's been the previous five or six times we've gone over the years, everything was great. In fact, we thought the meat selection was even better this time around with particular standouts being the six-pepper beef (tender yet flavorful), the Jamaican jerk chicken, and the garlic chicken. A few notes if you've never been: 1) You can valet right across the street at the valet stand. Plan to be heading south down Greenville with Trader Joe's to your right. 2) It will take a while to make your way through the four courses, so expect to dine for an hour and a half to two hours...probably more with a large group. 3) You do have to all agree on the kind of food/style of cooking, so if you're with a larger group, keep that in mind. 4) You will get full. It won't seem like you will, since all the food is small, but you will be full at the end. 5) Make reservations, and let them know if you're celebrating a special occasion. They'll often give you a little something extra in appreciation. One final note, check if there is a Groupon/LivingSocial coupon available (pay particular attention to the days it can and can't be used), as you may be able to save some money on what will be a fairly expensive meal. Just be sure to tip on the full meal's price...don't be one of THOSE people.

Christmas Dinner for Three

By Barbara S |

I picked this as a unique dining experience for a friends gift. It was fine but just that. It’s list some of its ambiance over the years. Our waitress was new so that may have contributed to my experience. But overall the good was just good . My favorites were the Swiss chalet cheese fondue and the raspberry Cabernet chocolate fondue. The meats and seafood were good but the stuffed mushrooms outshined the meats.

Awful service, worse food, insane prices. Anyone willing to go to a fondue place sober deserves what they get anyway...

Love this place!

By Tiffany Meraz |

I go to this location every time a Groupon deal is offered. Each time I have had excellent food and excellent service. Location is right in the middle of historic Greenville Avenue. I have called for a last minute reservation on several occasions and have always been accommodated. This is a unique dining experience and with the Groupon, it makes it a darn good deal! I am a long time customer and would recommend this restaurant to couples and families for special occasions. I do not recommend taking children. They would have to sit still for 2 to 3 hours as the dining experiences long and there is hot oil on the table.

Never Disappointed

My wife and I celebrated 9 years of marriage. For the past 9 years we have celebrated at Simply Fondue. During Valentine’s Day they run a deal for a 5-course meal $75 per person. We love the experience of cooking the food in the pot and enjoying each other’s company. The citrus flavored salmon is my favorite. If you fancy martinis then try the Huckleberry lemon drop martini.

I wish I could give it 0 stars

Everything about this place is horrible. Parking is terrible and there was no valet when we went. We had to park in the back, dark parking lot whcih was extremely hard to back out of. When you walk in the back door- it feels like you are walking into a very questionable unsanitary restaurant. The place very much has a bar feel to it- like it was once a bar converted to a restaurant except they took no time to make it look any nicer. THe food takes entirely too long and I think this is because of a lack of service. When we first sat down in the very upright, uncomfortable booth, we literally waited 20 mins before our hippie waiter came over and before we even got water. Service was so slow it was unlike anything I had experienced (hence why i decided to take the time to write the review). We eventually got Ben, the manager, over and he seemed like a guy that just holds a job but has no experience as a manager at all. Overall- some of the food was good, some of it was mediocre and some of it was downright bad. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Don't waste your money here- go somewhere like Capital Grille which is legitamately nice with great service.

Romantic interlude

40th anniversary dinner. This was something we had both wanted to do. This was the perfect opportunity. Seated at an intimate table for two with a heating element in the middle of the table. Had salads and then the fun began. We ordered the "Classic Fondue". Waitress brought cheeses, melted in fondue pot and had bread cubes and fresh veggies. Next we ordered three meats each. I had seasoned breadcrumb salmon, bacon wrap tenders, and pecan encrusted pork loin. Wife had bacon wrap tenders, chicken tenders and cocoanut tiger shrimp. veggies and stuffed mushrooms. Great fun dipping each morsel into the boiling oil and talking. Magnificent flavors. Then dessert. Peanut butter chocolate s'mores. Large marshmallows dipped into heated peanut butter chocolate swirls. Marvelous evening. Finished off by a complimentary "Happy 40th" cheesecake from our very attentive waitress, Andrea.

Not worth the time or the money.

After buying a groupon, I decided to treat my mom to an evening out. I didn't realize it would be all night. It took 3 hours for a 3 course meal. It took forever for the cheese to be prepared and ready. We were eating the sides before even dipping them bc we were so hungry. Finally we ate it all, still hungry, waiting for the next course, The main course. When the waitress finally brought the broth out, she said it had been preheated in the back. I would have to disagree because it took half an hour for it to begin boiling to cook. We had to wait and wait for the meats to cook. The bacon that was wrapped on the meat was terrible and did not stay wrapped. For the price, we got very little food. Again we had to wait an extremely long time for our dessert. It was the only thing that saved the meal. We ate it so fast yet still had a lot of chocolate left. She didn't offer more sides for the rest. When we received our bill for the two of us, no drinks, it came to $80. It was ridiculous! The food was not worth that. I will not be returning. We even had plans later that night that we missed because the service was so slow. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't leave until 9:15! Expensive, not much food, slow, and food wasn't really good. Not worth your time.

No, just No

By TXPanda |

Hated this place. It was cold, not the food the restaurant. I mean I know it’s fondue, but if you get the skillet fondue you basically are pan frying everything and there really isn’t a break. If I wanted to cook all my own food then I would have stayed home. Nothing was outstanding. The cheese fondue and salads were good. The chocolate fondue was not even warm. Just really disappointed.

Delicious and lots of fun!

By missy1448 |

After four failed attempts to visit another fondue restaurant in several states, my friends took me to Simply Fondue. We don't have fondue restaurants in Hawaii, so this was on my "must try" list while on vacation. It was simply fabulous! Alex was our waiter, and he was fantastic! He really made our meal a fun one. We were lucky enough to go early and received $10 off each meal, yay! I was most looking forward to dessert, but each course was amazing. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the wedge salad. After that, we just had more fun with each course. We had two different cheeses and both chocolate and caramel fondues for dessert. A great special occasion experience!

Simply fantastic

By pstee0072 |

If you are a lover or fondue or maybe just wanting something new this is certainly a great place to try. My wife and I enjoy fondue. (I hate the general price tag attached). But this restaraunt along with Groupon allowed me to eat with 5 star treatment at more of a mid class steak house price. The service was just amazing. It was truly 5 star treatment. The food was.certainly exceptional and plenty to choose from. The desert menu was too good to be true and the best part.of the meal. Now the reason the desert menu was the best was because 1 it was all you can eat, and 2 I didn't have to partake that exact night. I think they give you up to 60 days to return and make good on that part of the meal. You could fast all day and come in and eat nothing but chocolate, sweets, and fruit all day long and as much as you want. That is something I have never heard of before and think its amazing! The down side as any fondue restaraunt can be is the price tag. I personally just have issues dropping 60 - 100 dollars or more on 1 meal for 2 people. In my experience thats the general price tag associated with fondue restaraunts. However at this particular establishment that price tag is made up in quality of ingredients, service, and catering to the customer wants/needs rather than the opposite which has become common in todays society.

Well Done!

Great experience!

By russkwtx |

We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience on a Saturday night for dinner. Our server, Julie, was friendly and helpful. Very nice person. We did not opt for the $49 four course meal for each person because it would have been too much food and none of us wanted dessert. So, instead we started with Swiss Charlet, which is cheese fondue. It was good, but I wish the cheese had more bite and oddly it needed a bit of salt. We ate it all, though, and the variety of bread was really good. We then ordered two meat entrees: chicken and the beef tenderloin. I estimate that there is about a pound of each meat. For the beef you get three kinds: pepper, teriyaki, and regular (unflavored). For the chicken you get jerk, regular, cajun (?, don't remember, something flavored), and regular. The meat is breast meat. With it all you get a bowl of potatoes, mushrooms, stuffed jalapeño, and ravioli. You batter the mushroom and jalapeño (separately), the others you just fry directly. I did not try the potatoes but of the rest ravioli was my least favorite and I would not eat it again. The process is long and relaxed so you have lots of time to talk. I had a Groupon so the entire meal was very reasonable for three people, but I would return even without a Groupon. Free valet parking is across the street so you don't have to hassle looking for a spot on Lower Greenville. I plan to return in the near future!

Quite the experience!

By pattic777 |

We had a Travelzoo Localdeal voucher, so we got the Classic Dinner for two. Our waitress, Sonya, was great -- we told her up front that this was all new for us, so she helped us along with all parts of the meal! We took her recommendations and were well pleased. She warned us up front that we would be there for 2+ hours, so that wasn't a surprise to us. We had the Wisconsin cheese fondue to start, each of us were able to select a salad (I had the Greek salad and my husband had the Strawberry - both were great), we chose 7 meats (pepper tenderloin and Ahi were our favorites), and then the Baileys Irish cream chocolate fondue for dessert (YUM!). We appreciated the un-rushed experience. Each table is very private and we enjoyed our meal and each other. The only negative - since we cooked the meats at our table, I wished I had not worn a wool sweater as it picked up some of the cooking smells. But... a bit of Febreeze at home, and it's all good!

DO NOT RECOMMEND!

By Victor S |

Far too expensive for what you get. It is nothing special. We had cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. Also we went with the groupon $60 dinner and pay $40. WE ENDED UP PAYING $60. We were new to groupon so we did not know the offer didnt include the drinks. WE specificly asked about how it worked before we ordered anything, but the staff never told us. We did our calculations and ordered food and drinks up to about $60 However once we got the check, which was about $60, it said we had to pay $21 extra! Because the food was only $40... Then the staff responded quite in an unfriendly manner after we complained... Then the cheddar fondue is defenetilly not worth $25!!!!!!

Fantastic for Girls Night!

Reminds me of teeny tiny airplane experiences

By FamilyMan1963 |

Have you ever been on an airplane in China? Or a domestic flight within Japan? The biggest of grown men rarely sport more than a 34" waist and are rarely over 5'8". The result? If you're 5'9", your knees will dig into the seat in front of you. If you're 5'10" you have to sit sideways. If you're 6', you'll have to get off the plane. This is the way I felt in a booth at Simply Fondue. It's also the reason we hadn't been there in 10 years. So, we decided to go back with our 2 kids, now 8 and 10. The booths have not changed. Oh, they've been painted better than the raw semi-transparent stain on plywood they used to be, but you still can't sit facing forward if you're over 5'10" with another grown man across from you, and/or if you waist is bigger than around 38". I'm a big guy, and the tables are not adjustable. So, this time we were very early (because we had kids), so I was able to ask for and get the one table for four that has a booth on one side and two chairs on the other. Whew. The New Year's Eve meal has been upgraded. The meats are of higher quality, the cheeses are imported and upscale, the sauces are still fantastic, and the service was attentive without being hovering. The chocolate was also delicious, something smooth out of Belgium. They've also updated the decor, painted the walls, installed a full bar (yes, you can get a drink here now without importing your own Vodka in a mason jar). The days of BYOB are gone. My kids said they really had fun and would like to do it again. It's an almost $400 meal for 4 people (2 of which were young children), and since it's a cook-it-yourself evening, I have a hard time justifying what I'm paying for. It takes 2 prep guys in the kitchen a few minutes to lay out all the raw stuff on the plates. There's no sous chef, no executive chef....why such a high price? I'm told because they can get that price on New Year's eve. Well, okay. There you have it. I understand pricing is more in line on evenings with lower traffic counts. With so many things done well, there's no real fault to find here. My issue is that for $400, I'm thinking something more akin to the French Room or whatever Dean Fearing is doing this week. When you gouge someone, it doesn't make for a likely return visit. There are simply too many superb options in Dallas.

slipping

By 13drawers |

This was the fifth visit I have made to Simply Fondue and was sad to feel the quality is slipping. The price is up, but sadly the quality is not. Perhaps we just had a malfunctioning unit---the cheese fondue took too long to "cook" and was just ok. The salad course was salad..and was good. The main course was good, but, as with the cheese course, took too long to get hot. Our oil finally was replaced with a hot pot. Overall, the feeling was OK..not great as before. When I last visited, there was a 3 course option to omit the unnecessary salad course. This is no longer an option. If you opt for 3 courses, you delete either the cheese or chocolate course...not a great idea. The final chocolate course was good, also not great as before. Overall, I will probably reconsider before going again. Sad very sad.

Disappointing......

By Shannon3299 |

This was only our second time going to simply fondue, and the first time in Dallas. The first experience we had with simply fondue was in Fort Worth, and it was great! We found out the experience is lengthy so you have to plan for at least 2 hours. We thought we would try the Dallas location and was completely bummed. The first issue was that I ordered a cocktail from the menu and they didnt have the alcohol needed to make it, so I went with a glass of wine. Now the Moscato was great, so there was no complaints on that. Our other issue was that on our first visit in Fort Worth we had 2 burners at the table so my husband and I could try different things for our $50 per person. At this location there was only one burner, which limited my husband on his proteins since I am allergic to shellfish. We had to stick with pork, chicken, and beef. he would have preferred to try the seafood. We got the aged cheddar and it was too thick and not as good as we remembered. The proteins were good, and the mushrooms were as good as I remembered. But when we got to dessert we were disappointed again. The chocolate was too thick again, and we didn't get the spread we got at the other locations. We were missing the cheesecake bites, cookie dough, and decadent dessert options we had before. We wont go back to this location. We will go to fort worth next time.

My family and I had an amazing experience at Simply Fondue Dallas. We were promptly greated by friendly hostess and immediately seated for our reservation. Service was exceptionally good. The staff displays flawless teamwork and professionalism. We enjoyed all four courses of food. Cheeses are made at the table by your server and are accompanied by locally baked artisan breads, fresh cut veggies and green apples. Entrees are quality cuts of meat, lots of healthy fresh veggies, three cheese raviolis and specialty stuffed mushrooms. The drink menu offers craft cocktails, signiture martinis, notable wines, local beers both botttled and draft.
