Eight persons came for lunch and had a 40ish minute wait that we took to do a wine tasting next door. Sat outside on picnic table and waited another hour for food. Very good chicken! Smoked Mac and cheese and fried okra good too. Natural cut fries good too. Tried the insane wings and they were not temp hot and less spicy hot than the hot chicken tenders others had. Fritoquillas was also very good. Black flakes came down on table while there, sounds like this has happened before... Would try again. Tenders were quite large. Girls liked the waffles. One side was replaced with out asking because they were out of collard greens.

Ugh. Grease dripping off the fried chicken. Said to be "hot" apparently because some hot sauce was drizzled on it. Chicken had thick coating but was not crispy. Took some chicken home and container had grease puddle in it. Never again. On the other hand, loved the posters! This place would be fun if there was decent cooking. My wife had and liked the fried okra.

Ordered the tenders for my boss and fried chicken for me, both Nashville hot. Mighty tasty. Mine was not dry and the boss loved the tenders. Ate fried okra as well. Mine was chopped. Tasted great as well. Too bad I couldn't drink at the time.

Delish. I ate at the Georgetown location a couple of years ago and saw there was a new location down the street from me. I found myself incredibly hangry and needed food. Decided to try this new location. It was SO GOOD! I got the chicken tenders and corn. The tenders were just that: tender. The chicken was so moist and the flavor was amazing and not just the skin the actual chicken. The corn was also wonderful. Will be going back there soon. Highly recommend!!

This spot was recommended to us by the front desk lady at our hotel and we were not disappointed. No wait to be seated, and we even had a nice view of the mountains out the window. Mild chicken tenders were perfect amount of spice for our Texas palates. Mac and cheese was to die for, biscuits were fantastic, and cotija corn was light and flavorful. Service was super friendly and quick. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Oh my gosh, that chicken!! So crispy yet so tender and juicy. I ordered mine mild and the seasoning was perfect. Generous portions of chicken on a fresh bun. My friend also ordered a chicken sandwich medium spicy and he said it was very spicy. He would probably order less spice the next time (and there will be a next time for sure) His mac and cheese was good, not so much with my fries. The wait staff/host/hostess were SUPER. Oh my gosh, they fly around that place but you never feel rushed and they are on top of anything that you might need. They work HARD!!! They were friendly and sincere. The restaurant is very small and has quirky charm. There is a parking lot with ample parking.

How this place stsys open is mindboggeling. This is my 3rd visit eatting here. (We tried several other times to dine here but they rother ran out of chicken, had to clise to change thenoil, or the dishwasher was broken) There is always an issue even when we do get food on the table. Ladt night our chicken came out burnt. I know it comes out fried way darker than most chicken. ...this was burnt. They made us another order and it too was burnt. I got heartburn on the way home. I woke up early (now) because of my heartburn. I do not get heartburn. We ordered mild do it was not the heat...it isbold oil and burnt chix causing the indigestion. The drinks are always and tge fties are great! The chicken is moist but priced ridiculously expensive. Stomach churning as i right this. Go yo some other funky dive place in Georgetown.

I have never had "hot chicken" before so I have nothing to compare it to, but this was great! We all got the Seattle Hot which was plenty spicy for us. We ordered the fried green tomato appetizer, which was delicious, but the portion was a little small. Both my kids got chicken sandwiches and my BF and I shared the 1/2 chicken. Portions were great and the food delicious. It was so crunchy, I loved it! We ate outside at a picnic table and could watch the planes as this place is right at the end of the runway. The place looks rundown, with peeling paint and such, but it was a great place to eat!

A tribute to Nashville style deep fried chicken, and the chicken doesn’t disappoint (if you’re lucky to get some). I’ve had many many friends talk about how much they love this place, even some from Nashville who claim they’re true to the style. The chicken skin could be a main by itself, because it’s so freakin good by itself. But a great partner to juicy and good sized chicken pieces. I’m giving this place a 4 for two main reasons: 1, the sides weren’t flavourful enough. Coleslaw dressing was almost watery. Mac was good but needed some ummph. 2, it’s difficult to get food from here. I’ve tried at least 3 times before this to order food (ran out of chicken, hour (or more) wait). Be patient and try try again! All that said, still my favourite chicken in town!!

I had waffles and chicken and it was really good. Usually I only like my waffles, but these were light and crisp. Chicken was delicious, just spicy enough! Second time I had a great salad and pickles veggies. It's comfort food, not vegan.

I met friends here for happy hour/dinner and I am NOT a fan of fried food or fried chicken but one of my friends asked for this to be the place we met (and they never ask) so I was going to grin and bear it. They had naked chicken, seattle chicken and nashville chicken along with corn on the cob that I believe is put into the frier as well. Never have I ever :) told so many people about this being the best (the BEST) friend chicken I have ever had and I hate friend chicken! It's a small, quirky place that is right next door to a winery which - hello! Who wouldn't want to go. I rate this place extremely high for the taste of the food alone. If you have any love of fried chicken, feel free to try this one out - it has made me a believer.

Chicken comes in four spice levels: Insane, Hot, Mild and Naked. We ordered a Mild and a Hot Chicken and Waffles. Both types of chicken were delicious. My issue is that the waffle that came with the Hot Chicken was cold. Not it sat out on the counter cold but pull out of the refrigerator cold. Butter wouldn't melt on it, ice cold to the touch. Very strange. I prefer my waffles at least warm and preferably a little crispy. I did not enjoy the chilled soggy waffle. The waffle with the Mild Chicken was not chilled but wasn't hot off the griddle ... but at least it was warm. The breading on the Mild Chicken appeared to be burnt. Looked and tasted just this side of burnt. Also, the portions were a little small for a $14 dish. Four pieces about half the size of a chicken tender on a small waffle. Despite the chicken being flavorful, we probably won't go back. Nothing compelling to bring us back.

Beyond Amazing restaurant for some killer fried chicken with heat. You can get naked, mild, hot, or insane for heat. We had their purple potato salad and the Coleslaw. The chicken sandwich with the pickles and aioli was heavenly. We both thought we were on vacation as we sat outside at the end of Boeing Field runway. She had the Gouda Mac and Cheese and ate all of it! Fine dinning pricing in a funky like throwback setting.

This place is like an old dive bar, but they had bar non the best chicken any of us had ever had. Staff and friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. The outer crust on our chicken was exceptional. It was not greasy. I could go on and on. If you are in Georgetown you gotta go to this place. It is considered a bar, so you do have to be 21. And I would not recommend using the bathroom. But everything else. WOW!!!

Service was nice and straightforward. Food took a while to come out. We ordered the fried okra which came in thin strips and very awkward to eat, but tasted good. Fried chicken tasted amazing, but was too greasy. Interesting heat scale. Portions were large and dipping sauces were delicious. Would come back again.

Family visiting wanted to try the chicken at Sisters and Brothers. They ordered the chicken and waffle for themselves and sides to share. The sides we tried were potato salad, smoked gouda mac and cheese, and fries. Everything was good. The potato salad uses potato that is still hard so if you like your potatoes soft, you might not like that. The chicken and waffle (according to them) did stand out.

From naked to searingly hot, the sauce on the all white meat fried chicken atop a waffle made me dance in my seat! If that's not enough they use Noble maple syrup, some of the best small batch maple you can find! Plus you get to watch planes land at the airfield across the street. A very cool experience and a short walk from the bars and scene in Georgetown.

Ordered a mild 1/2 chicken and were told it would be 30 minutes. 15 minutes later it was dry and too spicy. Poor excuse for a chicken!

We stumbled upon this place (A party of 12- not easy to serve) and we sat outside which was lovely, and the service was FANTASTIC! the were efficient, had a sense of humor (you have to serving 12 people with this want and that want), food was unique and good! we had a really nice time and I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat.

I’m helping a friend prepare her house for sale 5 blocks from this cool little place. Not knowing much about this Sisters and Brothers, we apparently lucked out, parked in front and were seated immediately. The service was fast, engaging and likable. Food was super tasty. The crispy chicken crust, divine. Kids loved the mac n cheese. I love spicy food and can take a lot of heat, but medium was quite spicy enough. The mildest still has a decent heat. We will do the brunch next time! Rustic, hole in the wall feel, but clean and friendly. Place was swamped shortly after we arrived, but we were never rushed. Very small place, comfortable but pricey. Yet in its defense, I find Seattle food really pricy, especially after tax. Seattle food seems higher than NYC, Brooklyn, Portland, London, Edinburg and Austin. Really cool little place. Apparently it’s often crazy busy and parking is not abundant.

Searched out nashville hot chicken online and decided on this spot. Is a hole in the wall about a $15 uber from pioneer square area. 3 of us had the mild, hot and insane tenders, planning to order chicken pieces after getting a feel for the flavours. Insane was the standout with different chillis shining through, but the heat builds and tough to eat a bunch. Hot was perfect heat level, but not the pronounced chilli flavour, and mild was mild. Chicken was well done, but is hard to nail tenders cooking in cast iron with whole pieces. Coupled with the devilled eggs (always a favourite), gouda mac and cheese (must try), and fries (fryish), we were to full to move on to the whole pieces. Will absolutely return.

If you’re a fan of Nashville Hot Chicken and you’re in Seattle your choices are limited. KFC or Sisters & Brothers. If you crave authenticity, this is better than getting on a airplane, even if you’ll be dining at the foot of King County airport! Tenders are $15, Wings are $13 and come with a side. Love those collard greens. For those of you who really like hear, insane is an option, but it doesn’t hurt.

You know that dish that you just crave? You think about eating it all week and then when you do get it, it is just as delicious and satisfying as you imagined? That is Sisters and Brothers Nashville hot chicken Sandwich for me! I get is Naked, which is just as much heat as I want, and does not require a lot of nose wiping and face blotting. The place is tiny, so expect a wait, but it is totally worth it! Brunch in the summer is nice because they open up the outside dining area and who doesn't want chicken and waffles and Micheladas on a beautiful weekend morning?

What’s not to like about this place? Kind of a dive looking place with friendly and engaging waitstaff. Great food and drinks. I had a sassy waitress which was a lot of fun. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was spicy as advertised. I was a little concerned to order the insane hot, probably wise. It’s best not to rub your eyes or mucous membranes after handling this food… Just saying. :-) The food was delicious. The service was spot on. If you’re anywhere near Boeing Field and hungry, this is a go to place. Strongly recommend.

Cute little spot w/BIG Flavor and charm.Had fried tomatoes and reluctantly tried the fried okra for the first time... it was amazing! Drinks were fully loaded and delicious. About that HOT chicken... it was scrumptious and had the kind of spice that have me an endorphin high. I will be back and this time w/my sons, they're gonna LOVE IT!

My mouth was literally on fire (in a good way) after eating the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. We decided to try this place after being told it was the best fried chicken in Seattle. Sisters and Brothers offers 3 levels of heat: mild, Seattle hot, and Nashville hot. Everything is made fresh, in house (chicken is brined for 2 days!). They also have a decent beer menu featuring some local favorites and a list that changes, so definitely ask the server about that if you're interested. Seating is available inside or outside. We chose to sit outside because you are at the foot of Boeing field and can watch the planes takeoff and land. You also have a nice view of Rainier on a clear day. Our only disappointment was in the fries. They were much greasier than expected (yes I realize we were eating fried chicken) and not as crispy as we would have liked. Other sides include Mac and cheese (which we tried and liked) or collard greens.

This place is a total dive--which is a plus for me. It's hard to describe just how amazing the chicken is here; you need to experience it. I got the mild-which was PERFECT for me...my husband, who loves things REALLY hot & spicy got the medium ("Seattle-style," I think they called it) and he was sweating. :) This place is in the parking lot of the Charles Smith Winery, so it's kind of a twofer when you visit!

I keep hearing the hype. I can say, it is not worth it. Expensive. While the coating was tasty, I think it was actually burnt. I told my server. She said "oh". Then tells me "I told my boss". That was it. Nobody came over to ask me about it. The leg and thigh portions were tiny. I've had bigger legs at Safeway. The few bites I had were tasty, except for it tasting burnt.

My best friend and I were looking forward to lunch at ‘sisters and brothers’ on Albro. My friend had heard about the good food. After walking and doing some shopping in Georgetown we looked forward to lunch. We love the slightly Bohemian, quirky and artistic flair for all things, including food that Georgetown offers and has offered for many years now. People, servers, retailers, artists and craftspeople have always been friendly and welcoming. I always bring something cool home, maybe some FullThrottle beverages, as well and always a great meal in a cool dive. How disappointing that my friend and I were snubbed at sis and bro’s. The young man working as server (?) I think, was smiley and happy with the customers that were already there. I was glad to see that and was hopeful to soon receive the same smiling face at our table as he was, I was sure, about to bring our menus, greet us and perhaps state that ‘.....he’d be right with us’.... What actually happened was that my friend and I sat for at least 7-10 minutes, far too long to not even be acknowledged and I mean never acknowledged even as soon as we stepped inside the front door. That was fine, as I expected to at least be acknowledged at our table. Not so..... When server-guy did approach our table with two waters and menus he simply set them on the table without a ‘hi’ or any eye contact and turned and left. We felt nearly invisible and not welcomed. What? Why? Huh? I said to my friend, ‘um, I don’t want to eat here...’ ...’this guy didn’t say hi or acknowledge us. Didn’t even look at us....not a ‘I’ll be with you shortly’, nothing’. Weird. It was bugging me. We opted to leave. I followed my friend and as I was about to exit the door, the server noticed and we made eye contact, so I said, ‘You don’t even say ‘Hi’?’ And that we felt ignored. I finished with, ‘What is this? Paris?...au voir.’ and left. Bummer.

If your looking for some of the Best Hot Chicken in the US - go here! It is nothing fancy, just some amazing food at a spot with a local dive bar feel. I go to Nashville monthly and I have yet to find a place with better overall taste. Plus here you aren’t waiting hours. If you like hot, then you’ll love their fried hot chicken. It’s like a dancing fire of deliciousness in your mouth! If you don’t like it hot, not to worry- they have mild options. And if your on the fence order the medium and ask for a side of hot sauce. The corn is a must! It comes with a nice spice as well. Wash it down with a beer or cocktail.

I’ve been contemplating writing a review based upon our experience in lower Queen Anne from our visit on Sunday night and finally decided to share my thoughts. We traveled up to Seattle for the day for Father’s Day to do some fun things with the kids and finish it up with a trip to the highly rated Sisters and Brothers Nashville BBQ. We walked in the front door, watched as several of the staff walked past us and stood there for about 5 minutes before anyone stopped to say hi. We were seated by a very polite server, but their cropped shirt with “I ❤️ hot dads” was a little off putting with my younger kids on Father’s Day. Possibly more fitting for a 21+ bar scene? The server did their best to get back to us to take our order, but they were a bit scattered. Later, I heard them mention that this was their first day on the job and that they were down a server. First day & short staffed? That’s rough on them and especially on the server. We ordered (2 big chicken sandwiches, one large side of Mac and Cheese and one order of tenders with sides of corn and fried pickles) and the food came out quickly. The Mac and Cheese was good, loved the Smokey flavor. Everything else just felt off. I’ve been trying to figure out why I was so disappointed in our experience. The atmosphere was fun, although felt dirty. The server was pleasant, although scattered and without training. The cocktails, wine and beer were reasonably priced, but a little boring. I had to get up to get more napkins, were never offered more beverages, had to get our own to-go boxes and get up to ask for our check. I can deal with all of that and usually enjoy a restaurant for what it is. What I’ve ultimately come down to is that the food was so uninspired and so lacking in any feeling or pride, that it made all of the other things I can usually look past, stand out and become unavoidable. The “big chicken sandwich” with fried pickles was 2 chicken strips tossed in the Nashville seasoning on a white bun with diced iceberg lettuce, a dollop of Mayo and three super thin sliced bland pickles. The fried pickles were $3.00 extra and were burnt. A half an ounce of ranch was an additional $.75. (It was a 2oz plastic ramekin and was 1/4 full) The big chicken strip dinner was three pieces of the same chicken, 3 of the same bland pickle slices and on a slice of bread for the same price as the sandwich. Basically I got one less piece of chicken but received a kid sized handful of iceberg lettuce in return. Look, I don’t care about spending money on good food, but for a restaurant that puts themselves out there as a representation of Nashville style cuisine and delivers some completely underwhelming fare, I was super disappointed. In fairness, I’ve never been to Nashville to have dinner from the source, but I can’t believe that this would fly. Especially $110 for 3 entrees, 1 side and 4 sodas. I love the idea of your restaurant, but take some pride in what you serve.

A funky, down-home place with great atmosphere and some of the best fried chicken you will ever taste! Wonderful staff and eclectic decor. Good for all comers. Food is prepared as ordered so give yourself enough time - it's a very popular place. No more needs to be said, except for the view of Mt. Rainier from the front door.

The Nashville hot fried chicken was delicious. The chicken and waffles were perfect and delicious. The food was food and service was very good. The location is on the north end of the Boeing field runway. And the building is old with character. It is not fancy in any way. But it has a great vibe. I will definitely take friends to Sisters and Brothers. It's not appropriate for my older parents. But it is good for business colleagues for drinks.

Weekday dinner for 2 at 5pmish. Not real busy. Service was good. Ordered the appetizer Corn Elotes- was excited about it, but disappointed in flavor/taste. Ordered the half-bird mild with fries. Ive eaten in Nashville many times and this is not comparable. chicken was laying on top of 2 pieces of white bread and pickles. The spice volume was good! The chicken was Dry. Fries were good, served with ranch dressing. The 2 beers was cold. Pretty expensive for dry chicken. total bill around $51 I think there are better options in Seattle Metro. Live and Learn.

I almost don't want to post a good review because I'd rather keep this place to myself. Small restaurant just down the northern confines of Boeing field in Seattle. Extremely casual. Can sit inside or at a picnic table outside. If you've had Nashville hot Fried Chicken... In Nashville... You know you're talkin about exquisitely Fried Chicken that is moist on the inside and not greasy on the outside. Then you add extremely tasty hot sauce to it. Whether you like mild hot or what they call Seattle hot... So delicious you still eat through the pain. Good mac and cheese or good fried okra. Go for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday and have chicken and waffles. Don't expect more than it is just go expecting good food in a fun relaxed atmosphere. If you get this description then you ought to try it.

I took my honey and the brat to this swinging joint. Good music playing and we got a booth to ourselves. The gorgeous tattooed waitress took care of us real good. We had a whole fried chicken in pieces, mac and cheese, greens and slaw. We had the mild (Seattle flavor) which was very spicy to all of us, and fried well done. Great atmosphere, but a pretty small place. We went on a Sunday at 5:30 PM and we got our eats promptly. Good food, cocktails and sit down Pac Man game. The kids review-"Hella good."

Stopped for lunch after arriving in Seattle. Small place, but unique. Food was good...not the food I would normally eat, but saw this restaurant on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives and had to try it. Ordered the cabbage salad thinking it was something different...but turned out to be just “Cole Slaw”...bummer. Worthy to try!

Been here 2x now and both times were great - good, quick service & fantastic sandwiches. Tried both the “Seattle hot (mild) & “Nashville hot) (spicy) and both were pretty spicy - if you’re a fan of spice this is def your place. Cold beers, decent enough margaritas and lots of deep cuts off seminal indie favorites makes for a fun night out with friends.

Medium hot sandwich with Mac and cheese (Gouda) along with a Seattle cola. Food is so good. I returned again before I left the city. Saw it on triple d night before I arrived in the city…easy walk from downtown madness. Such a good lunch! Very nice and attentive staff. Exterior is deceiving compared to the ver cool interior.

I saw this place on Diners Drive-Ins & Dives. The chicken looked so good and so did all the sides so I decided to try it with a friend for lunch. I can say it did not disappoint. I got the Chicken sandwich- it was huge. The outside of the Chicken was crunchy and the inside juicy and tender. I got the medium hot sauce and it was spicy with just enough kick to it. The corn is also a must! Will go back again and order more sides!

One of our friends said to run and not walk to Sisters and Brothers because it was about to be reviewed and get busy. We were too late and the first two times we visited the place they ran out of food! When we finally managed to eat there we understood why they were so busy. Excellent. They serve the chicken with differing degrees of "hotness" and since there were three of us we ran the gamut of "naked", medium and hot. The problem we had was while we were curious about the other flavors we did not want to share our plates. Eventually did and can say all were great. I cannot even remember what I did for sides, not sure we ate any of them to be honest. The building is directly across from Boeing field and had always been some version of a dive bar and the current owners do not plan to change the decor I hear. Incredibly I have been back and found them out of food and so have some friends. So call before you make a special trip for food, you may be disappointed.
Dinner
Yesterday during the Georgetown carnival we visited to have dinner. I think it is the best chicken but be very careful regarding the grade of spice you choose: I had the medium tenders and it was almost to spicy. Nice atmosphere and fun interior. You can watch planes land right in front of you
