We sat out on the porch (it got pretty chilly even with the heat lamps!) and towards the end, the belly dancer came out. That was fun but a bit awkward while eating because of the set-up of the tables outside. Food was good, we recommend the Turkish pizza but overall, expensive for the food/atmosphere. We will go back for appetizers and drinks but probably not for dinner.

You know it is good when there are lots of middle eastern people there enjoying it Great service and food The apps are great. I think next time will have to do a mixed grill

Having acquired a taste for raki on a visit to Turkey, I enjoy coming to Sivas to indulge in it. I've had a number of the vegetarian mezes and enjoyed them all. Sivas also has some Turkish wines which are worth trying. Plenty of people come here for hookah, so if that's your thing, you'll be in a good place here.

My wife got us a ScoutMob deal for a three-course meal at Cafe Mezo, and we scheduled it for the day she came back from Maryland into the Atlanta International Airport. A short drive downtown took us to the place, which is charming and cozy, with tables on a screened-in porch - we got one such table. I had booked a reservation with OpenTable, but then found on arrival that the OpenTable reservation would not go with the ScoutMob deal, and, since we had actually paid for the ScoutMob deal, we had them cancel the OpenTable since they were able to seat us tonight anyway. The food was really tasty. Our deal consisted of a cold meze, a hot entree, a wine or beer, and a dessert to share. We ordered the Turkish Coffee over and above the components that were part of the deal, to have with our baklava at the end. Babaganush and Ezme salad were the cold mezes we ordered, and came with lovely fresh bread. Wendy got the chicken gyro kebab, and I got the regular gyro (lamb and beef) kebab. It was all extremely yummy, and there were leftovers because we filled up on the excellent food. We'll be back again, deal or no deal!

Everything was very fresh and yummy. Amazing potato salad, hummus, Moussaka, and falafel wrap. The baklava was some of the best I've ever had.

My wife and I went as a part of a birthday celebration for a family member. We were in the loft area. The food was delicious. Even my wife enjoyed it. She is from Detroit where the real-deal middle eastern food is. We had the falafel and hummus, haloumi flaming cheese, gyro, and chicken gyro. It was all delicious! She also had a drink called "el matador". It was a jalapeño and ginger margarita! Wow! It was really good. The servers were very attentive. We started at 8, so I really enjoyed how "laid back" the scene was. But when we left at 10:30, it was starting to get crowded and festive. I'm sure it was a great scene, if that's your thing. It's not for me, so I'm glad we were leaving. I can also appreciate that the hookah was not overwhelming. I didn't even smell like smoke. In fact, I pretty much forgot that people were smoking while I was there. The valet next door was $5 and very convenient. We had a really nice time. When I want middle eastern food again, I will surely think of Sivas.

This place like my home.Thats why me and my family are going there offen.Food is really delicious and quality. So service is so friendly if you looking good food, unique cocktail and nice atmosfere check to Sivas...

Stopped by for a late night meal. The food was authentic and great. The atmosphere was lively and happening. Perfect place to go after a game.

The atmosphere at Sivas is fun, festive and can be a little loud when the belly dancer is around - but totally worth it! The lamb is cooked to perfection and the other dish I tried is the chicken skewars with naan which is very, very good. The service is very friendly, parking is easy and located in a great neighborhood in Midtown - don't miss out!

Finally Midtown has a great Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Midtown! This is a great place to visit with friends... They have a large porch and tons of great food options! Plenty of vegan options too!

Not a good restaurant. The service is not good and the food is not good. I am sorry to say but the food quality is cheap and what is advertised is not what comes out. Salads are overpriced and have no substance. I had a bad experience there and would rather eat at a fast food restaurant than eat at Cafe Mezo or Sivas as they now call it.

Nice mid-town Greek restaurant and hookah bar. Welcoming staff and attententive servers. Belly dancers and DJ later in the evening. Nice large screened patio with seating for eating and puffing, and several ceiling fans to move around all the aromas. Overall a nice experience.

I love Turkish food and I am from the middle east so I have had my fair share. This restaurant was just okay. The prices were pretty high compared to the quantity and quality of some of the items. The drink prices were really high, unless you buy entire pitchers of drinks. The lamb was cooked really well, but it came with a side of bulghar and a greek salad that were fine, just not exciting. Nothing I ate was really exciting. The atmosphere is nice so I would go back maybe just to split a pitcher of Margarita with friends. I felt the hookah prices were overpriced as well. I can say that the service was really nice, attentive wait staff and managers. Cute atmosphere. Okay food.

Great drink prices, nice food, wide variety of hookah and very attentive staff! I love in the indoor and outdoor options for seating! Music not loud but just right that you can have a good convo with friends!!! Pass me the hookah !!

Great food! Loved the atmosphere and music vibe. We will definitely be back They have a fabulous menu, drink and hookah selection to choose from :-)

This is a great re-branded restaurant in Midtown Atlanta - what a gem! The staff is fantastic, can mix any cocktail you wish for, and the food, oh wow.... the food is amazing. The livers appetizer is particularly good, but the set menu is the best value and lets you try out a little of everything. The quality of the food is really good - fresh and tasty. Such an impressive find in Midtown.

We had booked this restaurant on Open Table for a Thursday night at 7:00 P.M. We were amazed when we walked in to find that we were the only patrons. We sat outside on the patio, which was pleasant except for the very loud music. I had lamb kebab, and my wife had mousakka. The food was served in about two minutes! It was quite tasty, so we enjoyed the food, although we do not like to eat in empty restaurants. There was an inside room, but we did not see any patrons as we left except for a couple of people at the bar. I had baklava for dessert. This is always fun since every restaurant has its own idea of what this should be. I enjoyed their version more than some I have had, so that was a success. This place has good reviews, which, based on the meal we had, was deserved, so we do not understand its lack of patronage, which adversely affected an otherwise good experience. It is a little out of the way, and apparently had to make a name change recently, so maybe that was the reason.

The food was great. Our waitress was amazing, super sweet, and full of recommendations. The hookah experience was so worth it. The DJ was AWESOME. He was so full of energy and just a true joy. We loved our experience and recommend anyone trying the area to check it out.

As soon as you walk in, you can feel the good energy in this place. There are two levels and lots of space. The hookahs are smooth and the music is dope. I didn't get a chance to try the food because I had eaten before we got here and I definitely regretted it after seeing other people being served. I will be back.

We decided last minute to get dinner before a Fox show. Our usual places were booked, and I was glad my husband found this place. Conveniently located a few blocks away. When we got there, I was a little nervous because it seemed nobody was there to eat. People were using the hookahs. But we were there quite early. By the time we left it was a normal crowd you could expect from a restaurant. We began with hummus- which I don't normally like. Sivas makes really good hummus! My husband even raved, "This is good hummus, and I've had it all over the world." They serve it with a warm loaf of bread. We then both got chicken kabobs. Flavorful and not too dry! There was a lot of food- we were both happy with the portion sizes. They have a good wine selection. Wines from all over the world. We ate on the covered patio and we are looking forward to our next show to see!

My friend took me here for a Friday lunch for my birthday. It was pretty empty, and they do very cheap drink specials probably to draw in the daytime crowd. My friend's cup was super dirty and they had to make her a new one. My white sangria looked super clear and tasted like Moscato so I don't know what I was really drinking. Plus there's no official parking since it shares a retail lot so you're always at royal of being booted. Probably better as a nighttime spot.

My wife and I have dined here a couple of times over past few weeks. - Nice atmosphere - Recommend the patio/deck seating out front - Very good food! We have had and would recommend: - Cold Mezes: Hummus, Tabuli, and Couscous - Sandwiches: Kofte Burger - Entrees: Mezo Kebab

This new restaurant (opened in January) is within close walking distance to the Fox theater, making it a great choice for a pre-theater dinner. It is located in a recently refurbished Victorian house. It is still waiting for its liquor license, so right now it is BYO. The food is Lebanese/middle eastern/Greek with a modern interpretation. Everything we (there were 4 of us) had was delicious and the servings are generous. There are the traditional appetizers (hummus, babba gnoosh, dolmades) and some I've never seen. As expected lamb and beef rule. Some main courses are served on wooden palettes. There is also a prix fixe menus which ran about $22 (3 appetizers, main course, dessert).

This is a new restaurant in the city. From the minute you walk in the service is friendly and welcoming. I am glad I went with a big group and got to try a bit of everything my first time there. There are the traditional appetizers and some I've never seen. As expected lamb and beef rule. Some main courses are served on wooden palettes. Highly recommended.

The positive first , great atmosphere ,very pleasant waitress a lot of tvs but the wings were not very good,,,, freezer burn flavor and the Josie sweet beer was odd tasting

I have come to Sivas several times in which the service was pretty cool. However, I will not be returning never again and advise others as well to consider taking your business elsewhere. My guest and I arrived and order two simple meals, water, and a cocktail. We received incorrect food orders and they had to make the cocktail over as soon as it was brought out by the waitress *the waitress told us it was incorrect when she brought it out which was weird*. We asked for our food to be corrected but the kitchen was closed but they offered to not charge us only if we didnt eat the food before we could make a decision our waitress snatched our food up and I tried to talk to the owner to get an understanding but he was rude and tried to talk over me. He used the police officers to rush us out of the venue while others stayed to enjoy their time.

The DJ that played on Sunday June 7, 2019 was AMAZING!! He played Afrobeats, old school and new school R&B and hip hop. LOVED IT! The waiters and waitresses were so sweet and attentive. The food was delicious. And lastly, the hookah was smooth! Great time! My girls and I are definitely coming back. We have found our spot. Thank you.

We stopped by after attending church which is nearby. My wife had the Greek omelet and I had the fruit plate. Simple meals but good food and the atmosphere and server were very pleasant. We're looking forward to going again1

owners recognize us each time. we try to go about every other month or monthly. we drive an hour. best Turkish food and atmosphere. porch gets loud but is nice. the inside is cozy but can get loud so we prefer porch. private room upstairs is a must for a special occasion. belly dancer on weekends. bar drinks are always on point. Turkish coffee too. its in a renovated older home on corner of juniper and parking is on opposite corner. for a different food experience come here.

This is a casual hookah lounge and Turkish restaurant in midtown. The decor is authentic and the food is excellent! We had the dolmades, hummus, spanikopita, Greek salad , and a gyro. Everything was fresh and delicious. We will definitely return as this is the best and most authentic middle eastern food I have had in the area.

When it turned out the usual place we go for brunch was not open, we walked down the street to try this relatively new restaurant, which is in this great old house with a pretty big patio. I had the falafel wrap sandwich -- the falafel was nice and crispy. I was also able to substitute fries for the usual salad that comes with the meal. The wife had the chicken gyro sandwich, which she enjoyed and we tried as an appetizer the sigara boregi pastry (with feta cheese and herbs). It was something nice that we hadn't had before. It was great trying something new!

Poor experience. Walked up to the stairs at Sivas Hookah with 7 friends, a mixed group of four couples, all fresh from our friends wedding at Cator Gardens and the bouncer asked how many people are with me. Told him8 of us are looking to drink and relax and was told that we would have to buy three $100 bottles to get into the lounge. Instantly knew that he didn’t want out business or our money and left the spot. Had to tell the rest of the one hundred person wedding that Sivas was not the after wedding spot we all hoped to enjoy and ended up at Halo Lounge.

A Turkish friend recommended that we eat at Cafe Mezo while visiting Georgia Tech, and we're so glad she did! We enjoyed a delicious meal of three appetizer dips with soft chewy bread, beef and lamb shish kabob beautifully presented on a wood plank. The service was excellent. We'll definitely go back if our son ends up attending Georgia Tech!

I LOVE the hookah here. While there may be a wait on the day you go, it is well worth it. The environment is nice but the food is not my pick.

We will definitely be back! Had lunch at Cafe Mezo on Sunday before seeing Gone with the Wind at the Fox. We were surprised the place wasn't packed, especially after getting our food, then found out it's new in town, so I suspect that won't last long. Every bite was delectable, an explosion of tastes mingling to perfection. My friends had the moussaka and the liver dish from the regular menu, I the chicken gyro from the brunch menu. Not a morsel was left on any plate, including the fruit plate which comes topped with yogurt and honey. Mmm, mmm, mmm, mm, mmm! Three thumbs up for Cafe Mezo!

Wa so excited to try it out!!! I arrived at about 6:30 and they sat me down across from bar staff a table. People working there were arguing towards the kitchen areas. I waited about 25 minutes and no one ever came to take an order. Quiet Wednesday evening - all of these juices for hookah were lined up at bar. So got up and left. Waste of time and horrible customer service

We stopped in to grab some food before heading to the club. The food was delicious and the prices were good. There is hookah available if you are into that. If I had to say my qualms... I wasn't in love with the decor and the place could use a touch up of paint. I also ordered fried calamari which was good but would have been better if my server would have brought them to me when they were first made. By the time I got them, they had clearly been sitting for a bit and had cooled off a significance amount. However the drinks and food we had were good and the price was great. A good place to start your night.

I have eaten lunch at Sivas on three different occasions over the last year. Every time the food has been excellent. The hummus and dolmades are among the best I have ever tasted. The fried cheese is amazing and the bread is grease and delicious. I have also had the Greek salad (perfect) and the lamb/beef gyro (also amazing). This is a great place to done for authentic Turkish cuisine.

The hookah water is never changed between uses. You are breathing someone else’s diseases. The food quality is low quality and they charge a very high price to a point where they will rip you off. The place stinks, the service is very very rude. This place will basically rip you off and make you sick. Stay away!!

I've smoked hookah all over. In Morocco, Europe, and now Atlanta. Sivas is one of my favorites. Worth the price and great food too.

We visited for lunch recently. The food was just okay. It was not very crowded, but it felt that way since all of the parties were seated all together, without any intervening tables between us. We had the calamari as an appetizer, which was lacking in taste and seasoning. This was not a bad place to visit, just not in a rush to return.

First time visiting Sivas and I must say... It was a blast! When my friends and I first arrived, the line was literally down the stairs and down the sidewalk.. This was the line just to put your name on waiting list.. My friends insisted that it was worth the 45 minutes or so that the doormen said. Once we were inside we were able to opt for a table on the patio/balcony side. The DJ was great! The crowd on the balcony seemed to be the party crowd because everybody was dancing and just having a normal good time. I appreciated the vibe here for sure. We ordered a couple of hookahs and some food which was so so.. The hookah they gave us in the beginning was malfunctioning and the guy didn't check something he should have but aside from that, overall everything was good!

We frequent this place and every time it's better than last. The owner is very personal with all his customers. He comes to tables. He makes drinks. He offers samples of new cuisine. He remembers us every time. It's Greek with a general Mediterranean influence. Belly dancer on weekends- check times. Porch outside is our pick but inside has awesome atmosphere. Superb bar selections. Try anything. It's all divine. Parking next door. One of our favorite places to take out of town guests. They take reservations and walk ins. Definitely different than your average boring steak house night out!

My hubby and I had lunch at Sivas. We had Albanian Style Liver. It was very delicious. I would also recommend trying the Turkish Tea. The tea smells amazing.

We had dinner, the bill arrived and the charge was not the same as what we had ordered. The waiter was rude and would not fix the charge. He said not to be cheap and ignored the problem. The manager came and was fake about the situation. We paid and left not wanting any confrontations. Stay away from this place. Everytime we come the valet service is horrible. They do not park the cars on time and expect a full tip even if you park your own car. Better to pay for parking elsewhere. The valet people stink like smoke. My car was smelling like an ashtray. At first I thought I was at Intermezzo but actually this was Mezo and there was a big confusion when I had invited my guests cause some went to Mezo and others went to Intermezzo. Not sure what the deal is with the mixed up marketing.

Sivas has closed patio with heater for rain and cold weather. We got the Sivas kebab it was tenter and delicious then had a Ice cold hookah with Efes beer:)lovely

Food is tasty and served fast. Pitcher drinks are expensive and weak. Hookah is good and packed well. Wished there was more variety to choose from. I would go back and recommend the place to anyone.

I've been to Sivas a few times. Twice on Saturday night and once on Saturday afternoon. You must know that Saturday nights vibe includes a full house with a DJ who spins hip hop and old school R&B. If you decide to come on a Saturday night you may have to wait a while for a table. The drinks are very strong! I recommend their margaritas. They have various hooka flavors and options. They are known for offering an ice hose for an extra $5 that helps soothe your hooka experience. For food, I've only tried the lamb gyro which was good. Looking at other guests plates, the dishes look very appetizing. Overall I will keep this place as my go-to for happy hour and casual drink nights with friends.

Delicious Mediterranean American cuisine. My favorite thing that I tried was Chicken Kebab. But the Ribeye Steak was so juicy and flavorful too! AND they have a Live DJ too!

Eggplant, falafel, hummus? You're at the right place! Vegetarian, carnivore, gluten free, dairy free? You're at the right place! I didn't expect much on a rainy Monday night but this place did not disappoint. The quiet, tight atmosphere was cozy but not intrusive and I wasn't bothered by the hookah smoke from my neighbors. Service is slow but the food is worth the visit.

The food was good and moderately priced. The restaurant is in a small house with steps that are not easy to navigate for someone 65 and over. It is convenient to The Arts Center. The staff is pleasant.

I visited this place with family and was recommended by a grocery store worker. Food was OK. Nothing special their eggplant dip tasted off and Yes I had babaganush before portion size was very small and main course was shish kebab and that was OK too again nothing special they have a parking at next block so you don't have to pay 5 bucks to park in front of their restaurant but be aware, in their not so outside seating area everyone smokes shisha or something like that tobacco product so our clothes smells like tobacco too I wonder if Atlanta allows smoking on a covered outside area? Anyway if you hate smoking you should know this

I will definitely come back. I ordered the chicken kebab and it was so delicious! The hookah was also really good. Very smooth. The waitress was also really nice and polite. I just have too little complains: 1. the music was too loud. They need to tone it down so you can talk to your friends and 2. the coal they using, is the one which burns out too fast. But other than that it’s a great place

The service was a bit slow, but the food was good. The drinks were a little weak for my liking, but very tasty. The lamb/beef combination was really good. BAKLAVA was fantastic. There also was a dessert that was a baked sweetened cheese that was incredible. I ate too much of it and suffered from my indulgence later that night.

Go to Sivas anytime you're looking to have a secret rendezvous or quiet moment with friends or a friend. If you're looking for a packed out, lively colorful spot, this isn't it. If you like to be in more social environments then I would recommend only visiting Sivas if there's an event being held there. The hookah is good, drinks too! However, I would recommend eating prior to going as I was not impressed by the food. And if you must eat there, go for something other than the calamari. The batter and favors it's cooked in is not that tasty.

This is a new restaurant in the city and has happily become one of my favorites. From the minute you walk in the service is friendly and welcoming. I've enjoyed the all the appetizers are delicious. hummus, fried goat cheese, felafel. I am glad I went with a big group and got to try a bit of everything my first time there. I've been back since and had a great time. This time I finally had room for dessert. The rice pudding is divine and I would head back just for that. They are a great addition to the neighborhood.

Sivas used to be the palce to be. Now it's alright as sometimes the crowd gets a bit too much and some weird people show up! but the owner is super nice and the staff always want to show you a good time. very affordable hookahs here relative to it being in midtown

For lunch, we had the Trio Meze (Ezme, Kisir, and Babaganush) as well as the Flaming Saganaki described as a traditional Greek dish that consists of flambéed goat cheese, extinguished with lemon juice. All were tasty and served with good bread. A bit pricey, but with our Scoutmob applied, it was a good value. Service was good and the restaurant's space (inside + patio) are very pleasant.

Came here for hookah. I saw some good reviews. Ordered small hookah. It's like a rip off in the middle of the day. They don't use natural coals. Wow. And they call themselves hookah bar. Avoid. If you ever tried good hookah and you know what is good hookah - do not poison yourself here with these coals they are using. However the bar itself is ok, has many tv, drinks were ok priced.

When we looked at our credit card statement, we realized that the waiter obviously changed our tip amount from the 18% that we left to a 50% amount!! Funny, we haven't been able to get a manager when we have called either. Ok, maybe the server was just a crook...but, the meal and everything else was just mediocre. And the belly dancing, obnoxious! There are plenty of other options in this city...suggest you try them.

I've been here 3 times in different months and the food was super tastey each time I went. I had the lamb chops, house salad and white rice. I really don't care for white rice but whatever they use on their rice is really delicious! They have great hookah and drinks. I do suggest going early on the weekends or even calling ahead for a reservation! This is a place I will definitely frequent while I'm in Atlanta.
Good food
The food was good but a little over priced. The hummus was excellent. Staff ok. Great outdoor dining. The flaming cheese was the best item.
