Great View and Food

By mzap444 |

We did breakfast, and it was sooo good we went back again. The Dungeness crab benedict was incredible, I am going to have dreams about it. There was NOTHING fishy about it at all. The greatest ever, and the service was great both times. PS, also get the bloody mary.

Great Seattle meal.

By sfteacher2 |

Service and food were both outstanding. Good house prosecco. Loved the lobster mac in cheese, the scallops, the bouillebase, and the fresh fish. Delightful desserts and attentive service. A beautiful view and a charming and not noisy interior.

good place to rest up after sight seeing

By imthecounselor |

Located on the waterfront in the Edgewater Hotel, it's a good place to decompress and get away from the tourist attractions. Upscale and well appointed with a wall of windows on Puget Sound. Both Indoor & our door seating. Slow service. Bud Light $5 Pinot Grigio glass $10

Great view and food

By Charles |

Enjoyed the mussels and clams starter, the fresh catch halibut and Washington apple tart. Service was attentive though at times hard to hear the server’s voice... had to ask him to repeat himself several times. The waterfront view is the calling card and the restaurant has the best vantage point. For two people w three courses, a cocktail and one glass of wine each amounted to $225 not including tip for service.

Poor Happy Hour Service

By Raquelle P |

My husband and I came here for happy hour after reading stellar reviews from other customers and experienced exceptionally poor service. We started off our evening entering the lounge, waiting several minutes for the attention of staff and we were then told we could sit wherever we liked. My husband chose a table on the patio. We were then loudly told by the hostess that several people were on the waitlist for the patio and we were told to find a table inside. We then proceeded to sit at the bar where the bartender was quite friendly and helpful. The hostess came to find us again to inform us when could now sit on the patio. After sitting on the patio for 10 minutes without service, we were then told by the waitress we were unable to order off of the happy hour menu on the patio. Upon reentering the lounge, we were torn on whether or not to stay at Six Seven due to exceptionally poor customer service by both the hostess and the waitress. We ultimately decided to stay and ordered cocktails, tuna tacos, wagyu beef sliders, lentil hummus and truffle fries. The tuna tacos and wagyu beef sliders were the standouts. The lentil hummus was good as well. We will not be returning to Six Seven due to the poor service.

Poor service, average food, amazing views.

By Valentina Danie... C |

The food and, at times, the service here is average but the views usually compensate. Arrived at 6&7 to celebrate my anniversary at my husband’s invitation. Despite my table being available and ready I was told I had to wait until my Husband arrived before I could be seated. I waited 20 minutes standing in reception for a table that was available. The three hosts between them couldn’t figure out why woman meeting her husband for an anniversary date night in a restaurant might not want to wait alone in a busy cocktail bar. The team were totally bemused that a policy not to seat guests at an available table and have them wait for their other guests in comfort would be frustrating to someone seeking a premium dining experience. We ended up booking a table at Daniel SLU and leaving. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over six years. It’s a shame a seating policy more appropriate to a burger bar than a fine dining restaurant means I won’t be making it to seven years.

Beautiful outside view

Wonderful atmosphere, great wine selection and our server Laura was amazing. Portions where a bit too big.. but other than that… great dinner experience

Their teamwork didn't work--don't cross their picket line where the real team players are

By Lori R |

The food was very good, not special, but very good. The problem was that the "team" was not working well together. We were served by at least 5 people, who evidently did not talk with each other about our allergies (plenty in this family). For example, our GF salad came with bread on top. I asked if it was gluten-free, and this particular person who put it on the table said, "Yes, it's a GF salad, but I'll go ask the chef to make sure." We waited patiently until he came back and took it away, "sorry." That's sort of how things went. Never knowing who was "taking care of us this evening" led to us all laughing when some man stopped by when we were all done, just to ask, "is everything was all right?"--we are still figuring out his role on the team. The next day we met the staff on strike outside, their absence perhaps explaining the oddly discombobulated approach to service inside. (We learned that male private security workers observe female staff in their dressing room--ugh. So we won't be back.)

Didn’t Live Up To My Expectations

By MorrowManor |

The restaurant is located in the Edgewater Hotel, which is right on the water with beautiful views of the ocean. Our server was great, but the three complaints I have is the dining room was uncomfortably warm, almost hot. The gratuity was based on tax and a pier maintenance fee, which is unacceptable in my opinion, and I also feel like the dinner was rushed.

Won't honor reservations

By Jessica C |

"Sorry, we can't accommodate your request since we're saving that open table for a party of 5." That's what I got told by the restaurant manager when my party of 3 promptly arrived for our birthday reservation. I was speechless as I know I reserved a window table for the birthday dinner for my fiancee. I was then upset as I was kept seeing this empty table throughout our dinner. Just know that if you reserve, you will be seated but you will be bumped out of your request if there is a larger party since it means more money for the restaurant. I cannot, in good faith, rate the food as I felt incredibly uncomfortable after this first encounter and I very much doubt I will be returning. It was for a special occasion in my case but they really don't care. I can say that the server was attentive but I could not get over my first interaction with the restaurant manager. Absolutely disappointing.

The View!!

By Manalani |

Located in the Edgewater - We had heard the view was wonderful and so, with plenty of time before our flight, we stopped here for drinks. There was plenty of room in the lobby with seats looking out over the water and the view is awesome. We watched boats, ferry’s, float planes and birds all sharing the water. Comfortable, unhurried. We discovered it’s a historical place, engaging stories of its years, still going my strong! We’ll be back for dinner on some future trip.

Good Views

By Ed L |

Since we were staying at the hotel, we decided to try their resturant. We were seated in a both with this irritating thing hanging down in the middle of the table. Then due to the sun going down a server decided the sheer drapes need to be opened during sunset which blinded us for ten minutes. Waved her over and all she said was the sun will be down soon. First we started out with the crab and shrimp cake which was gelatinous (their version). It was okay. Paying five dollars for bread, really? My wife enjoyed the Kalbi-Braised Beef Short Rib. I tried the rigatoni which I was not impressed. For dessert we enjoyed the Warmed Washington Apple Tart and Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Tart. The band was very loud and the retro vibe was just annoying. Our server tried his best. The food was good. Atmosphere was poor.

Friendly and comfortable

By Nathan R |

We came here on a whim after a hike . Michael made our experience a memorable one he was extremely friendly ,curteous and made me and my girlfriend feel like one of his long time friends !! Not to mention the food is phenomenal please go here while you are in town !

Fantastic all around

By Keri B |

I highly recommend this place, they hit it out of the park across every aspect - food, service, view, and ambience. We’ve eaten breakfast and lunch here and everything we’ve had has been outstanding! They put a lot of care into the food and presentation. Without fail, everyone in the restaurant would absolutely light up when their food was brought to the table. The service is outstanding as well. Very friendly and fun but not obtrusive. The view is stunning and we had drinks in the bar a couple of times for sunset. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Seattle!

Great place, over-attentive service for us

By Fred Garvin |

Lots of pros: great food, great location/ambience, great local wine, valet parking very easy for $15. There with my two high school aged boys, we all had the filet/potatoes. I docked a star for over-attentive service which did affect our experience negatively. I felt rushed, the boys said it seemed like "someone is always in our face". Between the server, water guy, and plate clearer we were visited at least 10 times in an hour. The water would be refilled when glasses were still half or 2/3 full and plates were cleared seemingly the second we put a fork down. If they remedy that, this place is 5 star for sure.

Great spot on the water for an amazing meal!

By Clyde100 |

Had a nice Saturday early afternoon brunch. Views were amazing, food was outstanding and service was excellent. Our server Marlaine made the experience memorable - she was thoughtful, attentive and very engaging.

Seattle Favorite!

By Jessica L |

I love coming here for pretty much every special occasion. I love the food and always go for the Alaskan King Crab. The views of Puget Sound are incredible and the service is very friendly. Always an enjoyable experience!

Hostess

By Brayden B |

Terrible hostess, initially reserved for the balcony, but everyone who entered after us without reserve got it, delicious glazed cod, kind waiter. But the hostess is the worst ever i saw.

Appetizers with Friends

By Ray |

We came here prior to a Mariners game and had some appetizers and a two rounds of drinks. The food was good, not out of this world. The drinks were drinks..... The service was not fast and the bill was outrageous. Nice experience, but not worth the bill for sure.

expensive, burnt vegetables

By Benjamin M |

waiter botched the order twice. Charged us for apps we didn't receive, a comical display. My mom was served basically raw scallops. Not recommended.

Fabulous food and service. Terrible lighting

By Susan R |

We had never heard of Six Seven at the Edgewater, but were invited to dinner with a friend, and we were all very impressed! The food was excellent, and the service (for the most part) was attentive without being intrusive. Of course the view is lovely, with ferries and other maritime activity, and lights across the sound. We were there on a rainy January evening, but it must be spectacular on a sunny day! And we agreed we need to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor eating area. A few specifics: Food: The Scallops were absolutely perfect, with delicious and unusual elements that enhanced the HUGE, beautifully seared scallops. A friend had recommended the Salmon and the Cod, so one of us tried the salmon, and enjoyed it a lot. We didn’t plan to order dessert, but the server had been told it was a celebration, so she brought us a complimentary sorbet to share, and it was fresh and delicious, with a few berries and a chocolate on top that said “congratulations”! Everything is expensive, but unlike some “view” restaurants, the food lived up to the prices. Our server (Annie, as I recall) was excellent. She was helpful, friendly, always there when we needed her, but never hovering. The only complaint was the gentleman who dropped by to check on us. I always feel that is intrusive, and unnecessary, and makes me rather uncomfortable…. what am I supposed to say? So I could do without that. Parking is valet-only on site, and we were confused about the valet payment policy since it is $12, but we couldn’t tell if that is automatically charged to the bill, or complimentary when you eat there? We prefer not to use valet parking, and didn’t want to risk charging that to our host, so we decided to park off-site. It was a quiet night on the waterfront, so we easily found a (pay) spot on the street nearby, and there is a public parking garage across the street as well. Our only real complaint is the lighting in the dining room, which is ridiculously inadequate. You know you’re in trouble when they give you little flashlights to read the menu! And when they put so much effort into creating interesting presentations of somewhat unusual food combinations, it is really a shame that customers should need to use that flashlight to see what is on the plate! (The bright light of the flashlights certainly didn’t do it justice, but allowed us to figure out what we were consuming a bit better. Thankfully we were also able to look up the menu online, which lists all the different elements of each entree). Didn’t notice if this was a problem throughout the dining room, but we really wished there was more light on our table to see clearly. Overall, we all would give Six-Seven a 5 star rating, and we plan to return for our next celebration dinner!

Last Supper in Seattle

By claudiosorbi |

At first we weren't so sure about trying it but on the last evening we made it happen and it was a great idea. Very fresh fish, live music and a bouillabaisse that I still dream about.

Waterside Dinner You Won't Regret

By HurricaneRu |

I had a lovely dinner outside on the water. The bouillabaisse was top notch and the service was good as well. I hope to return to try out the bar scene. It appeared to be very lively.

Go for the view and cocktails

By dlsatty |

The food was unremarkable at remarkable prices. The sunset view was priceless. Next time around, we'd go for cocktails for two at sunset.

I am usually very pleased

By Jaewriter |

I am usually very pleased with recommendations found on Tripadvisor. This restaurant was an exception. The location is fantastic, with a lovely view of the water and the ferries drifting past. But the rest of the experience didn’t live up to the view. There was a singer that sounded like they were straight from someone’s wedding or bar mitzvah. It was loud and out of character for the setting. Theffowswwaswaswawaexpensiveunpranthunderwhelming. The King Salmon

Date night in Seattle

By Cindi L |

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We started with cocktails at the bar and the bartender, Lee made me one of the best cosmos I’ve ever had. We were then seated at a table by the water and John was our server. He took great care of us and recommended the miso black cod! We both had it and it was fabulous – one of the best fish meals we have ever had. The only thing we thought was a little strange was the fact that we had to pay for a basket of bread and butter. That being said, it was very good bread! We would strongly recommend having dinner here. A really great experience!

Beautiful views and excellent food/service

By Don S |

The atmosphere and food at Seattle's Six Seven Restaurant in the Edgewater Hotel were very pleasant. However, it was the waitress, Ali, who made the dining experience welcoming and a pure delight. She was personable, attentive, and went out of her way to accommodate our party of 5. The menu is unique and mid-priced. Well worth the dining experience thanks to Ali.

Amazing in every aspect!

After touring the Space Needle, this spot is just a lovely walk away, even on a rainy night (it's Seattle, always carry your umbrella). Six Seven is within the Hotel Edgewater, which has been designed to optimize views of Puget Sound from every window. I called ahead, for a reservation for one, on the chance they would be busy like the other places I tried this trip. The hostess made no judgments upon hearing it would be a table for one (the boyfriend had to stay home and work) and, when I arrived, she happily notified me that my table was not quite ready yet, that it was set back from the window and would I care to take the full-service table at the window that had just opened up in the lounge instead? Why yes, thank you, I think I will! Had the window not been there (and the water warmer), I could've slid off the booth and gone for a swim, the Sound was thisclose. Lovely for anyone that loves waves. My waitress was Nicole, who didn't even bat an eye when I mentioned trying WA state wines this trip and could I try the sauvignon blanc listed first, before ordering a glass? She returned with a wine tasting FLIGHT, set them on the table, admonished me to not drink water in between the glasses and said she'd be right back. I *often* request a taste prior to spending $16-$25 dollars on a glass of wine and have never been given a tasting experience in any restaurant. This level of service continued throughout the meal, which consisted of the Raw Bar (so fresh and delicious), which was also astoundingly low priced for such a meal, and on to a dessert drink with their marionberry sorbet (a must for those that like berry flavored things). I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager for the night, Jessica, as I wanted to compliment Nicole's service. She also went above and beyond, not only showing appreciation for my visit and comments, but also offering to help plan my next visit to Six Seven via email, provided on her card. All in all, a beyond lovely experience for those that love water views, fresh seafood, WA state tastes and excellent service!

Very good service and food. Would return here.

By blaSSt |

Beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view. The service was top notch, and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend and would go back.

Great hotel dining...delivers great room service, too--

By David C |

Lots of local Seattle-ites pop in here for dinner and drinks...when we are guests of The Edgewater Hotel we dine here and especially love the room service--all their great dishes can be had in a hotel room overlooking Elliott Bay...really tasty and lovely. Eat here...you will love it.

Great experience

My fiancée and I ate here multiple times during our stay at the edgewater hotel. Marlaine waited on us twice, wonderful food, wonderful service. A++ would eat again.

Wonderful Anniversary Luncheon on the water

By Vincent T |

We reserved a water view table for our 45th Wedding Anniversary and it was memorable. The staff was super and the food was excellent. I had the Fish & Chips and was very pleased with the quality of the cod fish and the beer batter was light & not oily.

Breakfast

By A M |

Breakfast before Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Excellent quality, large portions, professional service. Eggs Benedict, Vegetable Omelet, Fruit bowl, Orange juice all fresh and well prepared.

Best meal in Seattle!

By Annabelleroxy |

Phenomenal meal on the deck, by the water at sunset! Every course was delicious! Best lobster mac and cheese I've ever had! Justin, our server, was fantastic, so sweet, and enjoyable! We were even treated with a special, congratulations dessert! Highly recommend! A must-visit in Seattle!

Outstanding

By Car Fi |

Beautiful, cozy and classy. I went with my 11 year old boy son and we had a great dinner. We had the Boullabaise, the clam chowder and the lobster tail. Ten out of ten. Good servings and delicious flavor. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Wine list by the glass with good selections.

Really good

By David M |

Great location overlooking the water. Excellent service and clearly a very popular place to come. We planned for a drink but stayed for dinner. The cocktail list was innovative but we went old school for an off-the-list Aviation. It was perfect. Food was extremely good and yes we will be back!

Excellent

By Brighouse |

The place is really nice, right next to the sea, with a great fireplace. The food was very tasty ! We had enjoyed our time there

Six Seven Restaurant = 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

By Kim F |

Our party of four had excellent service and a wonderful dining experience. This was due to restaurant staff, Noah and Jyanzla. The drinks, dinner meals and desserts were outstanding. We had been planning to go to Six Seven Restaurant in 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was closed. We will return again and are very happy to see restaurant life opening up.

Expensive but worth it

By Kailie T |

The food and presentation is excellent. Service was also very good. Expensive but worth it, especially the deserts!!!

Super Special

By Miamimangomike |

Had a wonderful dinner at Six Seven. Everything there is first rate. We were seated inside, next to the windows overlooking the water. Lovely. Our server was helpful and never rushed us. The food was delicious. My wife had the miso-glazed black cod and I had the halibut special with mushrooms. Both were outstanding. The entire evening was a true value considering how delightful the experience was.

Excellent

By JClass789 |

Brilliant breakfast served by very ffieny staff. Easily see why this place is top rated. The eggs beneduct were some of the best I have had!

Excellent food, good service, okay value

By Walt S |

Awesome! I travel a lot and this place stands out. I will definitely go back next time I’m in town with someone. The good: - The menu is excellent, lots of amazing options. My wife had the salmon, I had the halibut special. We overate, not anything left on the plate. - Setting is excellent, beautiful views, and lots of them. Most seating positions (we saw) had a decent ocean view. - Romantic, not too loud so you could enjoy conversation and not need to shout The things to consider: - Location is a bit out of the hustle and bustle. Could be good or bad depending on what you want. - Service was very good, but not “5 Stars” in my opinion. It was a strong 4. The team was present and helpful. The special touches were missing. - Price was okay for the food. We paid $160 after tip for two glasses of wine, and the two dinners.

Gorgeous view, great food!

By Lauren A |

We had the perfect weather to enjoy a fabulous dinner at Six Seven outside on the water. The view is gorgeous and the food perfect! My husband ordered the ribeye prepared Pittsburgh Medium and it was charred to perfection while maintaining a beautiful pink center. The portion was large and he said it was among the top 5 steaks he’s ever had. And he’s gone to a lot of the top steakhouses from New York to Chicago! So kudos to the chef! I had the Bouillabaisse which was delicious! The stock was perfectly seasoned and the seafood plentiful and done just right. Service was very good as well. Just a terrific dinner! If you’re looking for a special meal in Seattle and on the waterfront, Six Seven is it!

Delicious Dinner with friends

By Rip |

We had a good birthday party at Six Seven. Dishes included pasta, steak, and pork chops. Be sure to try the amazing artisan bread. We had a friendly and funny waitress, who made our meal even better.she was a gas and a real bonus for helping us to have such a good time.

Great food, Excellent service!

By BS |

A great restaurant. Food was delicious, and service was phenomenal. Try the Wedge Salad. Best I’ve ever eaten. Chocolate pot du crème was delectable.

Highly Recommended!!!

By Mimie W |

My husband and I stayed at the Edgewater Hotel twice and one of the reasons was the Six Seven Restaurant. First of all, the view is excellent. There are 2 options for dining, The Lounge where you are in the covered area, and the other is out in the balcony which wraps around the restaurant. I can't speak for how it's like dining in the terrace but we've observed that the restaurant provide blanket/warmers for those who request it. Second, the food. We had breakfast, brunch, happy hour and dinner here. The food is delicious and full-filling! My huband's favorite is the Bouillabaisse and my favorite is the Miso-Glazed Cod (recommended by Chef Jesse Souza, who came to our table). I do highly recommend the Roasted Half Skagit Valley Chicken and the Cedar Plank King Salmon. Third reason we liked this restaurant is that my husband and I are fans of Jessica, the manager, and Marlaine, who waited on us several times when we dined here. Their awesome customer service made us want to come back, and so we stayed at this hotel again and had majority of our meals here. Friends of mine who stayed here and dined here recommended this place, and after all of our experiences, my husband and I highly recommend dining at the Six Seven Restaurant! You have to try everything they serve!

Good place for dinner but make sure band isn't playing!

By Ben_Smith |

We were really excited to try Six Seven at the Edgewater for our first time based upon the amazing reviews. It's an interesting space with a lot of trees for decorations. It has a very Twin Peaks vibe going on. We were unfortunately too late to see much of the view which is probably amazing. There was a band playing in the bar which was really loud so we could not hear each other which was frustrating. We also ended up at a table for 4 but the table was too small so had a hard time fitting the food dishes and drinks on the table for all of us. They had larger booths but they gave them to parties of two for some reason. I was disappointed in the table size for 4 and the noise. I would not recommend it on a night they have music if you are there with people that you would like to talk to. The food was excellent but it's also very expensive so it met our expecations of being excellent for the price. The portion for the ice cream was really large so consider sharing it if you don't want too much. The ice cream was not coffee tasting enough (given the flavor choice) was the general concensus. The key lime pie was good. We had the black cod which was very good and the special of halibut which was very good also. They charge you for the artisan bread and I always feel that when you are paying about $45 for an entree and buying appetizers and desserts and a bottle of wine that they could bring you bread. The menu is limited. I only saw about 2 choices of fish since one of us can't eat shellfish. The special was fortunately also fish. For a fish restaurant they seemed to need more fish options. The service was excellent until the end when they seemed to be trying to close down the restaurant at 10. Three times I was asked if I was done with my dessert so finally I just said that they could box it since I knew that they wanted us to leave. They did not offer a coffee refill either with my dessert. I can say that they pick up the plates often and they want to make sure that your plates/dishes are removed promptly to the point where it's odd. In summary, we thought the food was excellent but very expensive. We didn't like the decor of the restaurant, felt dated but I'll bet if you are outside on a beautiful summer day it would be different. I'm not in a hurry to go back.

Diner with amazing view and ambiance

By Sarr U |

This is a combination of two visits, both excellent. Everything we ate on both visits cooked perfectly, excellent service, couldn’t have asked for better. The chef and staff definitely know what they’re doing here.

Wonderful Dinner & Brunch

By Sinatralis |

We stayed at the hotel and we had dinner here and it was amazing! We were not rushed at all as we were celebrating a friends birthday. The menu choices are perfect and wine list and cocktails as well. Our server was amazing and had great suggestions to help too. I highly recommend the salmon. We also ended up having brunch here the next day and the brunch was just as amazing the service was great and the food was delicious and the bloody Mary as well. Definitely worth the treat as do you have a beautiful view of the water as well.

Fabulous Dining

By Sarah |

Phenomenal restaurant and amazing service. The roasted chicken was fantastic but the vegetables were to die for! My husband and son both steaks and said they were cooked to perfection. Their assortment of wines were nice. The chimichurri (sp) was out of this world! My only complaint is the noise of the restaurant.

Why wouldn't you eat here?

By Andy W |

A beautiful restaurant with good food and friendly staff. The prices reflect the views. Pricey. If dinner is outside your budget go for brunch. Great views in a quieter setting. We will eat here again. A few organizational hiccups need ironed out. During our stay at the hotel affiliated with the restaurant, there was a glitch with their computers not able to charge items to your room. As a retired manager we had software we used during system glitches. We could continue seamless service. A small thing but I know a fix exists. Hey, it is in one of the software centers of the world. We could not be seated right away and told we could wait in the bar. No problem. Oddly, we got our drinks and sat in the lounge. We were told we could not sit there the area was reserved for people without reservations. Huh? Anyway, a wonderful place.

Spectacular view and great service

By Leigh Anne G |

The 2 Brandon’s at valet started our breakfast off right. $25 April 2025 for valet is just about the same Cost as parking. Marlaine and her crew took great care of us. The food was delicious. And the view is spectacular! Worth every penny.

Excellent

By kkaramchandani |

Great view if you get to sit outside. attached is the view from our table The food was excellent. Service was very good Bottom longer. Highly recommended

Expensive and average

By Teago123 |

Went here for our anniversary. We sat outside right on the water for the beautiful views and sunset. Outstanding! It was somewhat downhill from there. The waitress was very intelligent and chatty but was not very attentive. I wanted another drink before our food came and she was nowhere to be found. Appetizers of clams and oysters was outstanding. Entrees of black cod just ok, slightly undercooked. So overall food good service bad and venue excellent

Good food - Bad service

By Boris G |

We traveled to Seattle to celebrate our 35th anniversary and made a dinner reservation at this restaurant a week in advance, specifically requesting a table by the window. When we arrived on time, we were greeted by Peyton, who was wearing a “Ready for Strike” pin and seemed far more enthusiastic about the upcoming strike than about providing quality service. Sadly, that enthusiasm did not extend to us. The service we received was indifferent at best and bordered on dismissive. Our special evening was marred by a lack of attention, care, and basic hospitality. It’s disappointing to have such a milestone occasion treated so casually. Because of the careless service we experienced, we will not be returning—and cannot recommend this place to others looking for a memorable night.

Brunch on the water

By TarJa |

If you're walking Seattle's waterfrong, you need to walk a little more North and see the Edgewater Hotel. We were able to get a table outside, on the water. Yes, it was sunny. Yes, it was a little windy. Yes, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious, and we all found something we liked. The view was gorgeous. The service was perfect. It was a great meal with beautiful scenery.

A great experience for all the senses

By Jessica D |

The food service and ambiance were top notch. We had an early dinner to celebrate our 24th Anniversary. We had a wonderful table overlooking the water. The wait staff was attentive and the food was delicious. We had the filet dinner and the salmon dinner so we could each try both and the both were well worth it. Already planning to go back during the summer.

Bad Experince!

By gian carlo memeo |

bad experience! I booked a dinner at this restaurant for September 13 at 8 p.m. with very long time, months ...., and when I went there, in time if not in advance, from a recepionist I heard myself answer that I would have to wait 30 minutes at least to have my table, without even the slightest dream of at least apologize for the inconvenience ..... to my right complaints for the bad reception I felt that if I wanted I could have a table outside the restaurant room ..... take into account that that evening the temperature did not exceed the 17 degrees celsius, not wanting to dine later, I agreed to dine outside, with the assurance that there were heating stoves. pity that the table they assigned me not only did not have the stove but also the lighting spotlights that were burned and the table was in full shade. after 15 minutes of waiting for someone to deign to us, we saw, still on the outside, another table that at least had the light and a stove shared with another table and we got up and sat alone at the new table! it seems to me that the speculation of not providing at least one stove per table is really low profile, but so, it is framed with the mentality of the room to which I certainly did not seem that the well-being and quality for the customer come before the sinister interest for my own profit .... so I finally thought I had dinner ... I must say that food, not of bad quality, will not remain in my memory as a detail, nothing more than an honest kitchen. the only positive note is our waitress who proved to be, at least, kind and efficient. a very bad experience !!!

Go for the view not the food

By Robin W |

I would not recommend this restaurant for the food. It is overpriced and overall pretty average in quality and service. Our waitress certainly could of used more help , perhaps because it was a holiday I’m not sure. I asked the male host for a spoon and he completely blew me off with major attitude and needless to say I never got it. You could of helped out the poor waitress!!! Would not return!!!

Northwest Food with a View

By txlegz |

Looked for a place to have lunch that was on the water and this is the place. Darling hotel … which will be on my list to stay on the next trip to Seattle. The restaurant was fresh and inviting. You could sit outside or inside with views. We chose inside next to the window as it was a little windy that day. Our waitress was so kind. While we were there for lunch they were only offering the Brunch menu and that was find with us. If you are looking for an appetizer with your Bloody Mary this is the place. Celery, bacon among other muncies will grace the top of your drink! We enjoyed the Dungeness Crab Benedict (sauce on the side) and the Chicken and Waffles. Both were delicious. I would definitely go again.

Simply fantastic.

Just returned from a 10 day trip to Seattle, where we enjoyed many fine restaurants. Hands down, this was the best dining experience of the trip. As stated in other reviews, the venue is outstanding with a nice ambiance and beautiful views of the sound. The food was great--creative, perfectly executed and beautifully presented. We shared the BLT salad (with candied bacon) and the spaetzle served with pumpkin and cauliflower. While they are known for wonderful seafood, we went rogue that night and for mains had both the short rib and the lamb shank. Both outstanding. Some very reasonably priced wines were also enjoyed. All in all, great value for what you get. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the service. Justin was incredible--personable, professional and knowledgeable. He truly elevated the entire experience. Our sincere thanks for a great evening.

Great view and good food

By XUXUXUXU |

Sunday brunch was good but the view stole the show. Outdoor seating right on the water made this experience one worth repeating. If you sit on the sunny part of the outdoor seating area you will have a perfect view of Mt. Rainier. The food was good as was the service.

Bait and Switch Happy Hour on Website!

By Travelingfamily321 |

Found Six Seven Restaurant on Trip Advisor, our go to for reviews of course, while traveling to Seattle from Florida. Celebrating our 25th anniversary so we thought it would be nice to enjoy a Happy Hour and selected this restaurant because we found the info LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE, not Yelp as the server suggested? Lol! We explained that that was what we came for per their website info. He even went to the manager and HE didn’t even honor the info out there just the excuse that it is old information. Does not matter if the info is outdated , it’s still advertising that info on your web site and bringing customers who are expecting as much. We decided to stay despite the refusal to honor the Happy Hour prices by ordering ; three cocktails, one beer a meat and cheese charcuterie board $22 and two toddler size mini spicy tuna tacos $16. THEN insult to this visit is the surprised PIER FEE charge because THE OWNER chose the location on the water. Food was ok, but visit was over priced for two apps and 3 drinks and management not honoring their website Happy Hour.

Amazing food

I will forever go back to this restaurant every time we are back in Seattle. The food is amazing but the service was even better. If you are in town just go, you will not be disappointed

Stunning Scenery

By Michael B |

Quality Waterfront dining venues seem to be in short supply in Seattle, so we were delighted to come across this restaurant within The Edgewater Hotel. We arrived for brunch without a reservation and after a short wait, we were shown to our table. The restaurant was busy and had this been dinner, I would have made a reservation. The food was very good and the service attentive but it was the view across the water that was most memorable.

Wonderful Views

By Rebekajean |

Four of us came for lunch. According to hubby and our friends, the food was above average and they all had plenty to satisfy their hunger. The menu didn't have anything I could eat and the wait staff had problems understanding my requests so I had hot water and the decaf tea I had brought with me. Everything came out hot with tasty flavors. The restaurant atmoshpere is relaxing and the view is excellent. If you have dietary restrictions, ask for a supervisor. The wait staff are not familiar with how the food is cooked.

Hostile Front Guy !

By RayICue |

Food great , service great; then there’s the guy at reception ! How one guy can ruin your dinner. We just arrived from B.C. ferry . Checked in room , and hurried down to get dinner before closing. We arrived at 8:25 pm . Requesting a table for four . We were informed that since we would not have time for multiple courses, we should just sit somewhere art he bar area . Then our discussion centered on please can we just get one of the many empty tables. We ultimately succeeded in our argument and was seated for a great dinner ! The mood was set . Totally not necessary.

Wonderful evening

Absolutely wonderful spot for dinner. Most of us had fish, and it was great (sides were also). Service was top notch, and you can't beat the view. I would definitely go back!

Above and Beyond

By Jonny H |

The food, atmosphere, and service exceeded our expectations. Would recommend this place over and over again. Already can’t wait to come back.

Great place for happy hour,

By vancouvesunshine |

Stayed a little longer to watch the live music which was excellent. Nice view and staff were great. Happy hour prices for drinks were also good.

Terrible service! Average food $$$

By Bombshell H |

NOT a good experience. We unfortunately called and made a late reservation, 8:45pm was their last seating. This was a lie. The staff was so rude and upset that our table was seated so late. We were offered a TERRIBLE table in the centre of an almost empty restaurant, when we asked to move the staff basically threw cutlery at the table, rolled there eyes and walked away. We were then told to order immediately, the kitchen was closed and waiting on us to order!? The server was visibly upset to be serving our table. Management “apologized “ and gave lots of excuses. I did not ask for a discount nor did I expect to receive one, thankfully because NON were offered. In the end food was ok, we have no complaints about the kitchen, just the experience. We came to Seattle on an early work Christmas trip, we’re from Vancouver Canada. Perhaps we are spoiled and are used to exceptional service and experiences close to home. This will definitely be remembered and a joke compared to what we are use to. Don’t waist your time or money.

Fantastic Dinner!

By conferencetravel2023 |

My husband and I took some local friends to dinner at Six-Seven while staying at The Edgewater. Cocktails at the bar first (excellent, expertly crafted Old Fashioned!) and then a window table for 4 in the restaurant. It was delightful! Our oysters were fresh, the filet mignon was prepared beautifully, the cedar plank salmon dishes were phenomenal, and the pasta dish was great, too. Key lime pie for dessert (a must have!).... Service was very attentive without being intrusive. There was live music in the bar making the whole atmosphere quite lively and fun!

Great Food, Great Service

By rubyredvette |

The restaurant has an excellent view , it has a nice facility....But what sets it above and beyond is The Service and Food. My wife said that the Vegetarian Omelet was the beast that she has ever eaten. I thought the Orange Juice was as good as I get here in Florida. But the real treat was our Wait Person, Marlaine, She was super attentive and offered suggestion regarding the menu. She was out Wait Person for the first two days, then we were seated in another area, did not see Marliane, then saw her.....Without any hesitation we asked for her to be our Wait person. Marlaine has a big smile and always seems happy, which is what you want to see first thing in the morning. Ask for her and Six Seven will be even better.

Amazing local cuisine with spectacular views!

By nrstrips |

we stayed at the Edgewater Hotel, and ended up dining at the hotel. What a great move. The menu was local-based, with simple yet inventive touches. Excellent execution! We also had breakfast there the next morning and again, superb service with wonderful food. Our bartender was fun and knew what he was doing. Twinkling ferry lights and sunset views of Mt Ranier, can't beat that. Six Seven is not what you'd expect from a place with "great views", but it has it all. Romantic!

Had lunch here for a business meeting. The food was very lovely and so was the service. The view is also outstanding! A must go if you're visting Seattle.

Delicious dinner and excellent service

By Michelle Y |

My friends and I were looking for a nice restaurant with good drinks nearby and we found this place! Although it was a chilly night, we asked to be seated outside because they had warmers and the view was beautiful and peaceful. I had the mo pop soda pop as a mocktail and my friends ordered the tequila sunrise and a glass of champagne. For food, we tried the miso cod and the lobster Mac and cheese which were absolutely delicious. Our server, Marlane, recommended these dishes to us and they did not disappoint. I would definitely come back just to have the miso cod again. Overall, we had a great dining experience and the service was spot on.

Fantastic views. Fantastic food. Park on street to avoid the parking charge. Ask for the bread (olive). I had the filet and it was beyond great.

Breakfast with a Mountain View

By Julia W |

My husband I are always looking for great places to have breakfast in Seattle. I wanted a place with a view and we were not disappointed when we sat down at our window seat with the view of the Puget Sound. The breakfast was one of the best we've had and we've had a lot. The crew was fun, great music, chill vibe and Marlaine was awesome telling us all about the Hotel and the famous bands that have stayed there.

Amazing Food/ Service

Absolutely Amazing Service and Food!!!! Super top notch!!!! First time ever eating here!!!! Lorena is the Amazing Waitress!!!! She made the experience unforgettable!!!!

Awesome

By Dls1099 |

I love this place! I was in Seattle for six days and ate at this restaurant three times! Twice for dinner. Once for lunch. Fabulous vibe, great food, excellent wait staff and bartenders! Next time I'm in Seattle it will be at the top of my list to enjoy again! Can't wait!

Awesome Outside View/Meal/Drinks

By Bodee J |

The views from the outside dining area are great. The cool breeze coming off the water may require you to bring a light jacket and definitely bring you sunglasses. You may have to wait for outside seating unless you make a reservation to sit outside. The food was excellent and def worth the prices. The signature Bruce Lee Lemon Drop was very tasty. Overall great place to eat, but be prepared to drop some dough on your meal!

Great view!

By catherine |

Great view, great service and great food! A bit overpriced but you’re paying extra for the view. The most disappointing thing was the side of ‘summer bean sauté’ - do not buy it, as it was super gross.

Seattle’s Best Salmon

By Gretchen A |

Out of a family of four, three of us had the cedar smoked salmon for dinner. It was the best dinner of our lives! Michael was a wonderful waiter, who recommended the salmon to us and Fernando was fantastic about keeping our glasses full (that was not an easy task since it was quite warm outside today). Salmon does not get any better than this.

Six Seven should not be Twenty Eight

By Lawrence S |

My family and I were very disappointed in our recent visit to six-seven. To start with, even though we found parking on the hotels drive, a snarky valet pulled up and told us that we could not park there because it was a "fire lane" we then pulled out of the space only to see him park his valet vehicle there. So much for the "fire lane." We then went to dinner at six seven, which was fine, but when our check arrived, we noticed $14 charge called a "pier charge." When we asked the waiter about it, he said the charge is due to the fact that the pier under the restaurant has to be repaired and the owner wants to pass on the charges to the customers. A la a resort fee when you stay at a hotel with a pool. Additionally when the waiter asked for our valet parking card, he returned with a "discounted" valet parking rate of $14, which explains why the valet did not want us to park in the alleged fire lane. Needless to say the $28 dollar charge was a complete rip-off when you consider that we spend almost $400 in dining and cocktails. I have never felt so cheated and taken advantage of in my entire dining experience and will NEVER return to this clip-joint!

Awesome food.

By Harold H |

Some of the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had! Great view, awesome decor. Good service. 5 stars

Brunch - Bad choise. Terrible Hostess.

By LisaTripAdv |

We went sunday at 1pm. We didnt know that they only had brunch (our bad). Only 3 choices for lunch and very basic: burger, fish and chips and other. The places had a lot of empty table close to the windows. We asked for one and the hostess said all were reserved. IT WAS A BIG LIE. They close at 2pm and nobpdy came during the time we were there. She almost through one menu on the table and left. The waiter was a lot nicer and he brough us the full menu. The food was ok, as it can be for a burger and a fried fish. We parked in a very close public parking for only $4. The place is nice but it was not a good experience for us.

Good restaurant with a great view!

By Hoax_ok |

The restaurant was actually uncomfortably warm on our visit, however, the view is difficult to beat. The food was good if not great and there was a good atmosphere in the bar and restaurant.

Very enjoyable all around

By BarryandJackie |

It is located in the Edgewater Hotel, which gives you a clue about the restaurant's orientation (i.e., overlooking the harbor). It is a bright and airy venue with good service (shout out to Rhiannon). We shared the salad, as well as an entrée of scallops and another of bouillabaisse (which was loaded with seafood!). The bread was excellent. Parking is valet only.

The perfect meal for a perfect morning

By Ben T |

For my 40th birthday, my wife and I attended the symphony, stayed the night in the city, then had brunch the next morning at Six Seven. Absolutely delicious--crab benedict, brioche french toast and an omelet my wife couldn't stop talking about. Our server, Lorena, made us feel so comfortable and relaxed, while we watched the views on the water and reminisced about how we celebrated our honeymoon there 15 years ago. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Delicious Dinner with a Great View

By LMayer511 |

We had a good dinner at Six Seven. Dishes included pasta, steak, and pork chops. We also had amazing artisan bread. There was a sailing regatta happening as we ate, which made for a fantastic and fun view. We had a friendly and funny waitress, who made our meal even better.

Happy Hour At An Iconic Location

By Kim M |

People know this hotel from the famous picture of the young Beatles fishing out their hotel window. In fact, this hotel likely would not be permitted in today's world. That being said, it is one of the most iconic locations in the Pacific Northwest. As a Seattle resident, I've never had the occasion to stay here, so I am reviewing the food. Through the decades I've met many friends here after work. The food is always wonderful, the atmosphere magical, even in the dark of winter. There are certainly less expensive happy hours one can find, but with a very different experience. A special date, an intimate setting, or a seat at the bar to meet new people, a guest can find a comfortable spot for their needs. The service is first class and it's hard to beat the seafood. After all it's been known for that for decades. Just ask George, John, Paul and Ringo.

Fabulous view!!! ON the water! Great service! Get the clam chowder! Fish and chips were good too. Clam chowder is legendary!

Breathtaking views and the food is amazing

By Marina Lussich |

Breathtaking views of the sea and the mountains from the outdoor deck. I had the small clam chowder and the lobster mac and cheese which were to die for. With a mimosa.

So good food. So fair prices.

By Mary Beth L |

We had breakfast here two mornings during our stay at the Edgewater Hotel. The breakfasts/brunches were outstanding. There were five of us. We all ordered different things. Everyone was very pleased with their choice. One older couple asked to split a breakfast since the breakfast included so much food. The staff was fine with that. They provided two plates and an order of delicious roasted potatoes on both plates. All this at the charge for one breakfast. The prices were quite reasonable for fine hotel dining. The staff members that served us were appropriately friendly and efficient. Then there was the view. The hotel including the restaurant is on a pier. The view from the restaurant of Puget Sound was spectacular. All in all this was a superior experience in dining. I hope to return soon.

Great last minute

Great atmosphere, excellent food, and the service was outstanding. The food was fresh and very flavorful. Will definitely come back!!

Evening by the water

By FaitheTraveller |

The restaurant is in a very nice location. Valet parking is $14 which seems to be possibly the going rate in an expensive town like Seattle. The valets were very nice. The restaurant decor seems a little dated and could use some refreshing. The front reception desk to the restaurant seem to want to seat me in the bar as opposed to putting me at a table by myself. However after three-course meal and two wines, I think I made up for being a single party. The clam chowder was very good a little thicker than what I’m used to but that’s probably indicating it’s a better quality. I’m not a connoisseur of clam chowder. I had the filet mignon with Rockford and mushrooms. It was delicious. I had a cheesecake with a caramelized crème brûlée top and that was very nice as well. The server was very nice, very welcoming and very polite. I enjoyed my dinner there. There’s an outdoor patio that overlooks the water which looked very lovely if you were there for a romantic dinner or just a nice evening out.

wow...what a chef

By vicki |

the menu was small but the items offered were original and the presentation was high class...the wait staff was attentive, informative and personable...the cod melted in your mouth and was served with wasabi mashed potatoes...we went during covid and had to show our vaccination card to enter...we liked that...good wine list...we stayed in the attached edgewater hotel and ate in the restaurant 5 times...because it was so good...

Worth a visit for drinks and sunset watching

By marcopolopaloalto |

Has a happy hour which we missed, BUT arrived in time for a table on outside balcony for a sunset view of the Puget Sound and Ferries and seagulls and brightly lit colored Ferris wheel. It’s an upscale restaurant with upscale prices but we were able to enjoy ourselves with bar food and drinks. We had the fish tacos, the tempura asparagus spears, and a shared Cesar salad and we were happy with the food and excellent location away from the majority of tourists and noise. The restaurant is in the cool decorated Edgewater hotel which makes ample use of tree bark and branches for a cool but cozy northwest decor. The gift shop is also worth a mention. I hear that the Beatles stayed at this hotel .

Great view and good food

By Blaise |

We were fortunate to have a great sunset to enjoy while dining. The view is responsible for an additional star. Otherwise, the quality of the food did not meet expectations. The miso cod was too sweet and slightly over done. The bouillabaisse was a disappointment - too much tomato and an overpowering taste of saffron - perhaps others might like it. Certainly not worth the $$$$.

The best food, service and winter water view!

By Seatowncouple |

The 67 and its staff are a big part of what brings us back to this hotel time after time. A true waterfront treasure for wonderful brunches and dinners!

Nothing better

By siochainDenver |

This was our second stay at this hotel and at the restaurant. We also went here for breakfast while waiting for an early check-in. Loved it. I have this thing where I don't like parsley or chives as a garnish but I forgot to tell the server so this was on me. I spent some time taking the chives off and putting them on the side of the plate. The restaurant made a note of this evidently because the waiter brought it up when we went in for dinner. That's a first for me. For breakfast we had the crab benedict and it was amazingly good. The roasted potatoes were flavorful and perfectly cooked. We arrived early for our dinner reservation and were seated right away. Service was impeccable. I had the roquefort crusted filet with potatoes and butternut squash. All of that was exquisite. The mushrooms that came with it were not so great and I couldn't eat them. I couldn't eat everything so we took it to our room and it was still good even cold! We can't wait to come back

Unprofessional

By Kay |

We were there for my husband's birthday and were with his parents. My husband specifically asked for his steak to be black and blue but what came to him though was a medium. The server took the steak back and second steak was much better. I did not look at the itemized receipt when I signed it, but should have. The total came to $438 and with tip was over $500. The next day, I calculated the food and drinks and noticed a discrepancy of over $60 in the amount I was charged. In the last 6 weeks, I have called 2 times and emailed but have not received a response. I understand that the restaurant gets very busy, but I find it hard to believe that in that time, there has not been an opportunity to respond to my request. This is incredibly frustrating. You spend a large amount of money but management does not feel that it is important enough to respond to a guest's request. All I wanted was to verify the charges to see if I missed something. Why is it that I am being ignored? Why is my simple request not being met? It is clear that management has a lack of respect for people and their concerns. I have been patient and was going to come in person but it’s not worth having to drive into Seattle. It was my first and last time to this restaurant and will let my friends know not to come here. No need to answer as the damage is done.

Wonder

By Floriana T |

An exciting experience! The restaurant is welcoming and has a very suggestive panoramic view, boasts a menu with various excellent dishes especially fish and a fast and valid Service. I have a beautiful memory of dinner at the end of my trip to Seattle. Absolutely recommended!

Over charged, food was warm to cold

By Dennis B |

We were over charged and could not get them to understand. We gave up paid the bill and left. The food was warm to cold and could not get anyone to us. They also left an order off that was ours that they gave to the next table and again tried to charge us. Not a place we would go back to for sure. The owner was on her phone and could get her attention to help us.

A wonderful restaurant

By Dennece K |

We met some friends from Nashville in Seattle for the game and got to spend some time with our son who lives there. Since we were mostly not from Seattle we were focused on seafood. We had a bad seafood experience at another location a day earlier. Word to the wise. Didn’t know that was possible in Seattle. We could see the water. Tables were spaced where you weren’t right on top of each other. Service was excellent. Presentation and taste palate was thoughtful but not overdone. Everyone loved their meal. I think cod, scallops, sea bass and salmon were all represented to raves from everyone.

Fabulous restaurant

By Molly3693 |

Exquisite food, my husband had the black cod and I had the scallops and both were to die for! Excellent service. Amazing views of the water.

Excellent!!!!

By ramanning7 |

I visited this restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, as well as the lounge in the agternoon and it was wonderful all three times. The ambience is lovely, large open windows provide a spectacular view from where ever you sit. The food and wine was excellent and service superb. I had the simply Salmon, it was perfect. The Dark chocolate hazelnut tart, with whip cream rasberries and butterscotch was the highlight, it was glorious, I still dream of it. Breakfast with coffee by the window, I thoroughly enjoyed, great service. I very much looking forward to returning to this marvelous restaurant. During my visit to the lounge, I was able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Seattle waterfront, weather, scenery and boats, over wine and Spicy fish tacos. An experience I won't forget.

What can I say--it was a great experience.

By BJ M |

Our server, Ali, seemed to mind read us. Even before we asked, the coffee carafe was always hot, the used dishes vanished and Ali kept us smiling. Our food was delicious and moderately priced and the restaurant was comfortable and clean. Like Ali, every employee was courteous. efficient and smiling.

Food and view are amazing.

By theotherrinker |

Love this place. It's a bit expensive but worth it. You can't beat the view and the food is amazing. Marlaine was our server and I remember her from several years ago so that's the impact of a good server. Can't wait to return. The view is amazing. It's a great place to take someone visiting. We live here and still are amazed by the view.

Enjoy the view, food isn't that great

By Eric D |

Hugely disappointing restaurant. Food was solid meh. But the service was just sad. The only one who seemed enthused was the guy who kept trying to clean our table and plates while some of us were still eating. we had steak and salmon. it was a mid-range restaurant quality. just can't say much nice. really suprised it gets such great reviews.

Three of us on business enjoyed a wonderful waterfront table and a fantastic meal at this location. From seafood to check in, all meals were extremely well prepared and full of flavor. The wait staff was extremely attentive, pleasant, and welcoming. We would certainly return to this restaurant when in town.

Down by the Sound

By Waltj-Seattle |

Reservations are definitely recommended for weekend brunch As with the cruise ships in dock and hotel guests this is very popular. The views a fabulous especially in a clear Seattle day. The food was good and we left satisfied and this is a good place for brunch and they give you plenty of food. Parking is a bear so plan on parking offsite and walking.

Great value at Happy Hour

By Marie B |

Can't beat the view at Six Seven. Add to it the nice selections on the HH menu, and you've got yourself a gathering spot! The servers genuinely want to be there, and it shows. Valet parking makes it convenient, but a little pricey at $12.

Great Food, Service and Waterfront Views (like Aqua)

By Erik R |

If you are reading this you probably know that there are two top rated seafood restaurants very nearby each other on Seattle’s waterfront: Six Seven and Aqua. We visited both in the same week, and were equally impressed overall. Six Seven is a little smaller with lower ceilings so it is more intimate but noisier than Aqua. Food and Service at both were terrific. Six Seven seems less expensive because gratuities here are discretionary whereas at Aqua they automatically add 20%. Six Seven adds a $5.00 fee for “restaurant improvement”, something that neither of us had ever experienced before (and hopefully won’t again...restaurants should cover their overheads within their listed prices in my view). Six Seven (like Aqua) offers outdoor seating, but an inside window table offers the same view in a climate controlled environment, with much more comfortable seats. See the attached picture.

Quiet morning place to start your day

By Carlos G |

There was no host/hostess and we had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come in. Staff was passing in and out making eye contact but not acknowledging us. Other than that the view was great and food delicious. The service was very quick once we got to sit down.

Dinner

By Judith484 |

This is a nice place to have dinner. Service is good, the best part is the view of the water and boats. Make a reservation. Food was good. It’s also a hotel. It did have parking but we took an Uber. Has a full bar and lounge area.

It's about the quintessential Seattle view

By actranslation |

We had a dinner to celebrate a birthday, and wanted to take advantage of the great view of the water and mountains. The view did not disappoint, though the person who took our reservation over the phone put it on the wrong day, so our requested view table was not available. The hostess scrambled and got us seated at a different table, so we at least had a partial view. The food was uneven: terrific endive & arugula salad, but prep knife work meant a couple of tiny date pieces, and one huge one, which put the flavor profile out of balance; the lamb bolognese was terrific and a huge portion; the cedar-planked salmon was a bit overcooked, and plating it on a plank made it difficult to eat, plus the chef was heavy-handed with the pepper. The salmon in particular felt stale--it's their signature dish and most popular, but it seemed to get less love from the kitchen. The bright spot was the complimentary dessert--a chocolate mousse cake--that arrived with a candle in it for the birthday girl. The pastry chef is clearly on their game. Service was attentive but not intrusive, and watching the ferries and boats go down in a lovely sunset made this a good alternative to the Space Needle for out-of-town guests. Valet parking is available, but there was free street parking right in front of the Edgewater.

Fantastic lunch

By Louise F |

We were hungry and walking past the Edgewater hotel so dropped in for lunch. This was our best dining experience in Seattle. Friendly wait staff, a great menu, wonderful sea view and pleasant ambiance. It was also very reasonably priced. It looks to have been recently refurbished too. I was very impressed!

Outstanding!

By sassaflash |

I have been once before years ago and was extremely impressed, and this visit knocked it out of the park. Between the 6 of us, we had the salmon, glazed cod, scallops and crab claws. We tried them all and it was decided that this was some of the best seafood we’ve ever had (and we travel quite a bit, and come from food backgrounds). The fish melted in your mouth. It was incredible. Also kudos to our server who made my mom’s day when she asked for a Caesar - he verified it would be legitimate with Clamato and she raved about it. So thank you to the bartender as well. If you want a memorable, incredible dining experience, with a fantastic view, this place is worth every dollar spent (even with the Canadian dollar being so low!!)

Great location

We were here for a drink and the great cheesecake A seat on the terrace at sunset reminds us of the Beatles fishing

Great Location

By 1GiantsMSo |

It would be wonderful to sit and simply look out on the water. It is a fabulous atmosphere. The indoor trees decorated for the holidays were amazing. Lot of choices for drinks (we had an assortment of wines, beer and lemonade). The burger was cooked exactly right and the fries were very good. Will certainly return.

Fantastic Food & Atmosphere

By eMBark Travelers |

We split the Burrata & Smoked Tomato Jam and Roquefort Crusted Filet of Beef - both were exceptional. We also had a couple of the signature cocktails and had fun watching the ferries and sailboats go past while we enjoyed our dinner.

we have returned to this restaurant for a birthday celebration on a sunday. great brunch selection. awesome eggs benedict. highly recommended!

What a treat...

By TheFrudles |

Unbeatable views and unbeatable food. We managed to secure a table on the terrace - literally beside the water - and on our beautiful sunny evening, it really was perfection. The food was absolutely outstanding; two of us opted for the filet mignon and one the scallops - we were all blown away - just superb food! The service was excellent too, attentive without being fussy. I'd rate the whole experience at 100%.

Stayed at Edgewater hotel

By James B |

Excellent breakfast to start each day had dinner last night Laura Kim our server was great we had a very good meal and stayed for a couple of drinks at the bar afterwards.

Wonderful Christmas Dinner.

By Angeles |

What a great dinner we had today at the Christmas buffet. My wife and got a table right by the window with a view of the water. This is not a big restaurant, so every table has a view.Food was superb. Service was attentive. The only thing that bugs me is a 4.5% fee attached to the bill for servicing the wharf. The bill states this does not go to employees, probably as a result of negative stories about service fees in general. I would have come if the Buffett price had been higher by the 4.5%. Adding a fee like this is dishonest and cheapens an otherwise terrific restauant.

Romantic and friendly anniversary brunch

By Andrea K |

My partner and I had brunch at Six Seven to celebrate an anniversary. Ateal was a friendly and welcoming hostess, and had us seated at a romantic table with little wait time. We were lucky enough to be seated in Marlene's section, who has been our server at previous Six Seven visits. She did not disappoint! She was warm, friendly and generous with her service, making us feel very welcome and celebrated. We love her energy and love talking with her on our visits. Pro tip: It's worth asking to be seated in her section on your visit. Five PLUS stars to Six Seven, Marlene and Ateal.

Wow what a view

By Carol C |

Went here for the first time July 4th with friends. Really thought it was an wonderful experience. The steak was perfectly cooked and the staff was outstanding. Our waiter and the manager, Jyangla and Noah , were attentive and friendly answering all our questions and accommodating my requests. It really felt they went the extra mile to insure we had a special experience. They seated us at a table right next to the window and the view there alone is worth the trip. Thank you Six Seven for a lovely sunset evening.

Great sunset view and food, but pricey

By DeeEss |

My wife and I tried Six Seven for dinner during a recent visit to Seattle. We had a great sunset view and the food was excellent, but the service was slow and prices were high so I can't give it a 5-star rating (I would give it 4.5 stars if I could). Six Seven is located at the Edgewater Hotel, which has a very rustic lodge feel. I made reservations on OpenTable, and when we arrived, we were seated immediately on the outside deck with a great sunset view. We shared a bottle of Chateau St. Michelle Indian Wells Chardonnay, and shared a basket of Artisan Breads for starters. For dinner, my wife had the Burrata salad with a scallops add-on, and I had the Miso-Glazed Black Cod. All the food was excellent but expensive. We weren't hungry enough for dessert. Our server, Christian I think (it says "Christia" on the check), was very nice, but not super attentive, so service was a bit slow. Since the food and the view were so good, I would probably try Six Seven again if we return to the area.

Perfect for Date Night or Girls Night Out

By Ann Lam |

In Seattle, it’s rare to find a place with delicious food, excellent service AND amazing views! Luckily for my girls and I, we found all three at Six Seven. I started off with the champagne and they sure know how to fill a glass! The Miso Cod & Lobster Mac and Cheese are a must. For dessert, order everything, but especially the cheesecake. Our server Marlaine was super attentive and made our dining experience so great! 10/10 recommend to both locals and tourists :-) we’ll be back!!!

Perfect evening at a Seattle icon.

By matissegirl |

Perfect evening , perfect view, incredible food with friends We ordered cocktails in the lounge- fantastic. Two bottles of wine, oysters and mussels. Server was stellar snd brought us extra bread for the incredible broth in the mussels. We had black cod, king salmon, and filets. All perfectly prepared. Key lime pie for dessert. Hostess got us a table in the window with views of the ferries and West Seattle. Will be back later this month. Stellar.

Six Seven Restuarant

By katbob101 |

The is a restaurant inside The Edgewater Hotel. It was wonderful. We had breakfast and then dinner another night here. The food is great, the serve very friendly and the view is the reason. We so enjoyed both experiences here. For breakfast we sat inside. I had an omelet and must say it was on my top ten list. Husband had eggs, bacon and toast and it was cooked perfectly to his liking. Dinner we sat outside on a beautiful evening. The food was wonderful and we all include son love what we ordered.

Excellent food, beautiful location!

Stopped in to this restaurant after the full day ferry excursion to Friday Harbor and whale watching. It is a short walk from the ferry dock. The atmosphere is casual, food was excellent in flavor and presentation, the view of the harbor was beautiful! Bonus was the live music in the bar lounge... we enjoyed the Six Seven experience!

Fabulous Restaurant and Service

By Hasan kuzucu |

Lots of competition for dining spots in Seattle, but the reviews on TripAdvisor persuaded us to try Six Seven. We were not disappointed! Seated right by the sea, excellent food and great service by Roberto.. and especially thanks to Mr. Volkan Temel .. for the wonderful communication and making our night even more special. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

Birthday brunch, would recommend.

Went for a girlfriends birthday. Great way to spend a morning. Comfortable seating, super kind and genuinely friendly staff - especially Marlaine - and a view that's hard to beat. We had a great time.

Nice view

Good restaurant with panoramic ocean views. Traditional atmosphere and decor. Refined cuisine. Friendly staff.

Watch out… extra fees and tip calculation insulting

By Philip M |

Food was good/decent but I take issue with a fee added to the check without being disclosed. They add a pier maintenance fee. When I asked they explained what it was for which I understand but conceptually it should be eaten by the restaurant and added to their food/menu prices not added to the check after the fact and not disclosed. Further, I take issue with any restaurant that calculates the tip including extra fees and TAXES…. Why should I tip on a total including sales tax and extra fees??? To pre-calculate the tip percentage based on a total including taxes and extra fees is INSULTING and wrong. Would not go back or recommend. Dinner also felt rushed and even eating inside we were uncomfortable and hot. Not what I expected from a “nice” restaurant. Sad

Excellent food and lovely view

By musclegirl68 |

Lovely view of the harbor from all tables at Six Seven. Particularly nice if you want to watch the sunset. East coast people be advised; in the spring the sun sets close to 9pm. The service was excellent and our server made several good recommendations. The bread served before dinner is a delicious, chewy homemade rye. Wonderful! I had the cedar plank King Salmon simply done with chimichurri and a side of sauteed spinach. Salmon was flaky and moist. Husband had the Bouillabaisse which was loaded with muscles, prawns scallops cod and king crab. Excellent choice, excellent experience.

Great water views

By gerberedmond |

Had cocktails in the lobby bar area. Place has an interesting history of celebrity visitors. Great views out of large windows in lounge area.

Questionable value for the food

By ckypros |

Whilst it had a great atmosphere and views, restaurants are about the food. We found the service to also be strange, starter arrived and whilst we were still eating them the main course arrived. We sent them back, but of course the same main courses arrived 10 minutes later when we were ready, one of the fish and it was all dried out. In general mediocre value for money, there are better places to eat.

Very nice

Fantastic location with a lovely view, very friendly staff, there was live music on and the atmosphere was great. Food was a high standard and service was very good, would definitely go again!

Fabulous outdoor waterside dining at The Edgewater Hotel

By West River Girl |

We stayed at the Edgewater Hotel and my friends and I enjoyed many meals at their Six Seven Restaurant: breakfast, weekend brunch and dinner. They serve meals from 6:30 am until 10 pm, and these hours worked perfectly for our daily tourist schedule. For each meal we chose to sit at an outdoor table, but there are many nice tables inside - all with amazing waterfront views. One morning it was a bit cool, so the waiter offered us blankets for our comfort while eating. What a lovely touch!! Every meal we had was well prepared and a delight. Breakfast and the weekend brunch offered some amazingly good omelets. Hands down our favorite was the Smoked Bacon & Avocado Omelet. As a celiac, I was pleased that they offered gluten-free toast. We enjoyed mimosas and Bloody Marys with our coffee each morning. The portions were very generous, so much so that we didn’t need another meal until dinner. Dinner was also excellent. We enjoyed cocktails before dinner, including the Hemingway Daiquiri, beer and wine. For dinner I had the Seared Maine Diver Scallops, and they were perfectly cooked, followed by the Grand Marnier Creme Brûlée.

Fresh and Fun Dining Experience

By AliciaMaui |

Great vibe, cool genuine employees. Server (forgot his name, but he is marrying a teacher!) was superb. Welcoming, but not overbearing. Spot on with recommendations: clams, cod, crisp Sancerre, and a delicious chocolate desert. Great view and proole watching in this iconic locale, but, hey Seattle does not disappoint.

Waterfront Beauty

By spokane2010 |

Delicious food, in a beautifully decorated space with the best waterfront views. We had two delicious meals while dining at the connected hotel. Service was exceptional on both occasions. Breakfast was served quickly without feeling rushed. Had the most delicious Dungeness Crab Benedict. Served with a well balanced hollandaise sauce, spinach and avocado. Roasted potatoes was the perfect accompaniment. May be the best Benedict I have ever had. My son had the Pearl Jam breakfast sandwich. A croissant filled with scrumptious ham, egg and cheese that also included a potato choice. Both servings were large and provided us left overs for later. An additional meal of flavorful as well as hearty Cheese Burgers and fries were also outstanding. Not just your typical burger, well seasoned and loaded with extras. This restaurant clearly takes great pride in their food and service. Looking forward to returning and trying additional menu items as we saw amazing dishes coming out of the kitchen.

Great waterfront restaurant!

By Bob M |

My wife and I were staying at the Edgewater prior to a trip to Victoria, BC, so chose Six Seven for the convenience and other TripAdvisor reviews. The experience overall was outstanding. Great water views watching the ferries come and go. We were seated on the far side which made it quiet enough to have a conversation, and the service from Rhiannon was wonderful! We had the daily fish special and the Bouillabaisse which were both amazing, along with very good cocktails, wine and desserts. Yes, prices are somewhat high, but more than worth it for the value received!

Amazon birthday dinner!

By Kelly K |

WOW! This place was 5 stars all the way. Dinks in the bar before our reservation. "Spritz Kiss" I think. So good it was the only thing I ordered all night! Enjoyed the sunset sitting in the bar up near the windows on the water. Then we had a window table for dinner. The Miso Cod was amazing and I will be dreaming about it forever! Service was great. Will be back again next time I am in town. Loved it!

Best Halibut ever

By Lori H B |

It is not very often that I rave about a piece of fish at a restaurant. The night my husband and I visited there was a halibut special. I think it must have been done sous vide and then crust seared because it was so moist. Halibut can often be dry or grainy. I started with a "Passionate Negroni" which was a lovely cocktail while watching the sunset. I would definitely go back.

Fantastic food and view

By Susanlynn53 |

Loved everything about this place. Very eclectic dining room that had many fireplaces. Tables next to large windows that had fantastic views of the water. Great service from our wait staff and our food was excellent. My husband had potato gnocchi and my granddaughter clams and mussels to start and they were excellent. We had king crab and the halibut special and those were excellent choices. Sadly we were too full for dessert. If you make a reservation ask for a window table. I think the bar has bands on the weekends, as a great jazz band started about 10. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous water view, great ambience at the Edgewater hotel, and great food

By JVA_JVA |

I was exploring Seattle for work and grateful I drove down to the Edgewater Hotel for brunch at Six Seven Restaurant. The hotel entrance and lobby area had great musical history notes, stunning views, and a fun gift shop. The welcomed and helpful doorman led me to the Six Seven restaurant with waterfront views and a delicious stone crab benedict. The food and service were fantastic. The view of Olympic mountains and the water were highlights of the visit. My only disappointing surprise was that valet parking was $20 cash, even for diners, particularly when street parking was not an option with the residences adjacent to the hotel entrance. I would recommend ride-sharing if you're not staying at the hotel.

Great food and great service.

By travelcat012 |

Nice menu. Granted we haven't been eating out like this is a while, so it was nice to have a really nice sit-down meal with great service. We will definitely go back.

Great Food and Service

By HoboRat |

Stayed at the Edgewater and had dinner in the restaurant. Not much to say except great food, excellent sevice, and a great view (especially at sunset). You will not be disappointed.

Pier Maintenance Fee Added to Your Check - hence the 3 Stars

By b d |

Give me a break and don't insult patrons by adding a 'Pier Maintenance Fee' to each check. While ours was only $2, the principal in this left a sour taste in our mouth after an otherwise excellent lunch. Food and service were great. Friendly staff, but will NEVER go back if they continue to insult patrons with this add-on fee.

Lackluster and expensive

By Thexprt7 |

Came here for the first time. Service at the bar and for dinner was very good. Unfortunately the food was bland and lackluster. Cedar plank salmon and the lamb pasta for dinner with the purée mash potatoes all were bland and lacked flavor. For $49 and $38 respectively not near worth the cost. Would recommend passing on this restaurant.

Breakfast before cruise

By toys4dad |

Great view! We were seated immediately and provided coffee. Food came in a timely fashion and was hot and tasted great. Restaurant was clean and bright.

Too Expensive

By Odyssey289022 |

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time. I definitely noticed a down slide in the food quality, and it is fantastically expensive. What really got me was the $25 valet parking fee for people coming to eat at the restaurant. You are a patron of the restaurant. Parking should be free for coming to pay the very high prices at the restaurant. I might have eaten at Six Seven for the last time.

Edgewater Inn’s in the News Again

By wajody |

In 1964 The Beatles stayed at the Edgewater Inn. Forty-five years later the Inn is back in the news with their posh and upscale restaurant serving PNW cuisine. A couple of nights ago I celebrated my friend’s birthday at Six Seven on the waterfront deck. The martinis were dry, the salmon and black cod were deliciously moist and the sunset was intensely beautiful. The service at Six Seven is impeccable, knowledgeable and friendly. It doesn’t get better than this!

Superb meal with the best views

We had a delightful meal in the six seven restaurant, from Gorgeous fresh seafood to superb service and some lovely wine, I would definitely recommend a visit when In Seattle.

5 Star Service!!! 5 Star Ambiance!!! 5 Star Dinner!!! 5 Star To Make My Wife's Birthday Memorable!!!

By Alan Z |

From start to finish, it was a fantastic evening out. Our server was professional, friendly and knowledgeable after being here for many, many years. The inside table had a spectacular view of the water and mountains beyond and the sunset even on this somewhat gray sky day in Seattle was colorful. After ordering a bottle of Pinot Noir, we shared the Arugula and Endive Salad with slices of Washington Grown Pears, Chopped Dates, Candied Pecans, Smoked Blue Cheese and finished with a White Balsamic Vinaigrette. Better than excellent. We also ordered a basket of Artisan breads that were just out of the oven, warm, fresh with Sea Salt Butter. We both choose the Roquefort Crusted Filet Mignon's Medium Rare and they came out as ordered, tender and juicy with that outstanding Roquefort Crust served with a Mushroom Ragout and Cabernet Demi-Glace, Potato Puree, mixture of cut beans and a roasted tomato. Another excellent choice! Then a Happy Birthday Surprise Dessert made from Chocolate with a silky smooth warm chocolate filling and a chocolate crust covered with a caramel sauce with added Red Raspberries and Toasted Hazelnuts. What can I say. It was spectacular from Start to Finish!
