We are regulars at Sizzlers around SoCal and were looking forward to another great meal in San Diego. We were able to get our order placed but the details weren't fully communicated or understood, apparently. Items weren't correct, the ribeyes were not that tender, even though cooked to medium. Salads were delivered to the table followed almost immediately by the main dishes. And, PLEASE...!!! Do something about that seriously noisy soft serve machine...!!! Sitting six feet away from it was really tough to put up with and we wouldn't have except that our group of six needed the open tables instead of a booth. I'm not normally overly-picky, but I think the management could really make some small changes and bring their customers' experiences into a much more pleasant level.

I love going here because of the service. Jennene is such an awesome waitress. So polite and courteous and always checking to see if you need anything

Great service and staff. Chante was very friendly and attentive. The food as always good and filling. Salad and Desert Bar a welcome treat.

If your looking for soup, pasta and great salads, it was here. First time in this place, it's a nice restaurant, and not too crowded. My wife ordered the pork medallions wrapped in bacon it was good, and the price not too expensive.

The chicken in the salad bar was cold. Other than that the food was marvelous. The staff were really professional. I would recommend it to my friends..

Sizzler has a variety of food suitable for everybody. The salad bar is appealing with green salads, potato and macaroni salads and much more. If you want to eat from the menu, there is also a variety. I especially like the rib eye steak which is soft and juicy. To close your meal there is dairy creamlike ice cream with many toppings to choose from. The restaurant is clean with plenty of tables and booths.

My family and I had the awesome chance to visit this wonderful establishment. We were attended by Ms. Chanté our waitress. She went above and beyond to ensure our experience was an enjoyable one. The food was delicious and on time. But our inter-action with our waitress was a memorable experience above all.

Thank you to our server Rodolfo for a wonderful welcome to the new and remodeled Sizzler! Me and my guest were welcomed with a huge infectious smile. With a proper introduction to the ordering process and made some great menu suggestions. I highly recommend you stop by and visit the newly remodel Sizzlers, very central, ample parking, delicious food, and finally great service! Bon Appetit!

Friendly staff, nice hearty beef stew and meats for tacos are all part of the buffet. Blue cheese and salads galore. Choose carefully to make sure your greens with dressing mixed in are not soggy.

We eat senior menu items; they have ALWAYS FRESH salad. Salad bar offers spaghetti dinner- fried chicken-tacos- ice cream in the one price. We get the unlimited SENIOR salad bar that comes with a soda for $12 per person. This a personal favorite of mine !! It is NEW & fresh.

The good - the price. For an all you can eat salad bar that includes salads, meats, a taco bar, soups, and a large variety, the price is right on point. The Great - The variety. In one meal you can have a stuffed baked potato with crab salad, Chicken wings, a small side of nachos, salad and dessert for less than 20 bucks! Great variety of food with a pretty decent quality. Why You'd Avoid - Service. While it is an all you can eat buffet for the salad bar, the wait staff is supposed to come and clear your plates. I have now ben here three times and in all three instances the plates just pile up. At one point I had to flag down a manager who decided to just walk past the pile of plates on the table.

I came into this restaurant after not having been here in a while. The ambiance and atmosphere were very good (Padre game on tv). Wow, the seasinal quinoa salad, spinach, strawberry and blueberry salad, and pepperoni pasta salad were very good! My server, Jeaneen, was prompt, friendly, and very attentive, with excellent customer service. I understand I could get a salad or soup somewhere else, but the friendliness of the staff and management, as well as the awesome seasonal salad choices, will bring me back!

The first event of our 50th High school reunion weekend took place here. There were around 50 in attendance. We were able to reserve a section to ourselves and set it up as we needed. The wait staff was organized; waiting for our meals was minimal. There were also many options for every budget. The place was new and the bathrooms are clean.

Visited my hometown recently and joined family for late lunch/early dinner after a memorial across the street. I remember fondly eating at Sizzler during my early teens to 20s so was glad to see they are still in business, and doing well. We had a party of 9 and were seated promptly after placing our orders at the front. The menu was great with a nice selection of entrees and refreshing drinks (loved that strawberry lemonade). I picked the soup and salad bar, which was assorted with many great choices of salads, soups and hot appetizers. All was fresh and tasty. Everyone else enjoyed their entrees with steaks, seafood or chicken. Well, my youngest brother's steak was not to his liking and they took it back without any hesitation and brought him another, which he liked a lot. Our server was very attentive, including with the three children at the table. Prices were very reasonable. Always will be a favorite spot of mine.

Kimberly was a great hostess and everyone was so kind to our group of 100+ people! We had a high school reunion luncheon at this Sizzler and the staff was nothing short of amazing! Kimberly was prompt, quick and served us with a smile. I think Dan was also working in our section and he also did wonderfully. The prices were a little higher than I recall, but the food was good so it was worth it. The parking lot was busy but we had no trouble getting there and it was fairly accessible for our crowd. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food, we were playing games while waiting so the time went quickly. It was great for an older crowd and dependable. All in all, it was a great place to host a large gathering and the service was top notch.

All the local Sizzler restaurants seem to be closing, even ones that are always very busy. Well, this location off of Imperial is wonderful. Very clean, good service, and a well stocked salad bar that is perfectly maintained. This location Sizzler is always reliable and been great. Please stay in business!

Our family of 5 had a great dinner at Sizzler on 18 Sept, 2018. The menu is outstanding, with wonderful steaks and a buffet salad bar that is EASILY a meal in itself. The tacos, soups, spaghetti and chicken wings with a huge salad and a baked potato with all the trimmings in the salad bar is more than enough for a meal for anyone. We just had to come back. Good service, excellent food, easy to find and lots of parking...........

As soon as we arrived, the Manager, Jose Garcia greeted us and showed to our seat. After we ordered and received our food, Jose stopped by our table to make sure our order was to our liking. After we finished eating and were ready to leave, Jose returned to our table to thank us for our business and we left. You don't receive that kind of attention anymore.Thank you Jose!

On Friday afternoon we had the opportunity to visit this wonderful establishment for lunch. The food was outstanding and our waitress Chantè was awesome. She made it a memorable experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

My husband and i go to this restaurant about 2-3 Sundays, a month after church, We have become such regulars, the the staff recognize us and since we order the same menu each time, One waitress, Jeaneen, starts preparing our salad very quickly so there is almost no wait to start eating. I have tried steak at many restaurants and find that steak at this specific establishment excellent. We also find that Sundays, are busy since many people come in after churches in the area. The children are well attended to by their parents and everyone is friendly towards each other, even though it is quite a diverse crowd. I credit management, the waitresses and the clients for providing a welcoming environment. We have been steady customers for almost two years because the menu provides us for our nutritional needs and within our budget.

I love sizzler usually. Buffet was pretty good but when you order and do not get your food and no server to be found thats not good. 3 of the 5 of us ordered off menu. Two got their dinners, while other was offered her dinner when we were all done eating. How sad To Be a traveler on thanksgiving day.

We were very much looking forward to a Sizzler buffet having been to others in various parts of the country on previous holidays. After this experience I doubt very much we'll go again. The menu has obviously been revamped & the buffet is now $7 making the average price of our meals $25 & they weren't really worth it. I ordered steak & salmon teryaki skewers which arrived as steak & prawn skewers. When I queried it I was bluntly told by the waitress that I was wrong as salmon wasn't on the menu! As I was a bit taken aback by her attitude I let it go at first but on checking the menu there the item was! When I questioned it again she said the kitchen must have run out & rudely walked off. Finally she returned to admit the server had ordered incorrectly & would I like a piece of salmon - too late as we'd all finished by that time. We were offered a box to takeaway some leftovers but it took two reminders & nearly ten minutes to get it! On reflection I wish I had complained about the attitude of our waitress but to be honest I just wanted to get out of there. Very disappointing & could not recommend this branch on the strength of this visit.

Jeaneen is a Gem!! Food is deeeelich and served with a smile everytime. Shrimp on the barbie w steak and fries the best in Town!!! Prime Rib Burgers and Endless Salad Bar delicious! Sweet Potatoes for days you want to stay healthier...yummmy

The food was really yummy, as always. Their bread is crack, c'mon. I want to give a special shout out to Jeaneen - she was amazing, friendly and never skipped a beat. She brought us what we needed before we even had a chance to ask (napkins, refills, etc.).

Very good customer service, very attentive and on point. She's a keeper thank you Belen for .asking my lunch great I'll sure be coming back.

Malibu chicken! One of the few left. Great menu. Awesome salad, soup, pasta, taco bar. No kidding…I dream about Sizzler.

On October 5, 2025 Morse High School class of 75 celebrated our 59th reunion and homecoming game at Sizzler. The food was great and the staff/servers were awesome. Two thumbs up!

I was surprised to see the fill your own soda bar. And some kind of weird make your salad bar and then have the at tentative chop it up and add more stuff like a omlette bar but not.. Server was busy with being only one on the floor helping everyone to her best ability

We go here often. Right off the 805 freeway. I enjoy the salads and the wings and I usually get the shrimp.

I ordered a 6 ounce sirloin. When it arrived is did not look nice. It was dripping in oil. I asked for medium rare, when I sliced it blood ran out and it was raw. I called the server and she kindly refunded the cost. The salad bar was ok, but not exciting

Most folks know that Sizzler offers a mammoth buffet for salad bar fans that includes a wide variety of hot and cold options. They also have a very nice selection of entrees with choices of beef, chicken and fish creations; but I never thought that it was the place to go for someone who only wanted 'a bowl of soup and a cup of tea'. I was wrong. My meat eating husband loves a big steak with a baked potato. He also enjoys a trip to the salad bar and dessert, but I am on a very restricted food plan at the moment. How could we both eat at the same restaurant for lunch on a Sunday after church? Easy...Sizzler! When I asked the cashier, if I could have "just a bowl of soup", I thought that she would tell me that I had to pay the whole salad bar price. She surprised me with a smiling, "Of course!" and pointed out the list of soup options for the day. The price was only $3.50 for a generous portion of healthy, low calorie...and delicious meal. Our delightful waitress (Ana) was so helpful, when I explained that I was on a restricted food plan. She went out of her way to give me information on the calorie count for my meal and recommend her favorite soup for our next visit. When I finished my soup, my husband was still eating his man-size meal. I decided to stretch out the pleasant experience by having a cup of tea. I was delighted with the options in Farmer's Brothers tea bags that were presented with my pot of hot water. I sipped 'my dessert' of lovely tea, while my happy hubbie had his favorite pudding and ice cream. We both had a perfect lunch; and I walked away content and full, after a total guilt-free lunch that didn't blow my food plan to kingdom come. This Sizzler is now our choice for Sunday lunch every week. We also went there for our anniversary dinner with some friends. Sizzler is the right choice, when you are going out with friends, because everyone can choose 'just what they want' and in generous portions. Did I mention that the food tastes great, the staff are exceptional and the surrounding are clean and comfortable? Thank you, Sizzler.

We ate a late meal at this Sizzler. We ordered some steak entrees and went to the salad bar to get a snack while we awaited out entrees. Much to our surprise and embarrasment, the hostess came over AFTER we sat down and began to eat the food from the salad bar and advised us that we owed them $5.95 ea extra for the salar bar. We were one of only 4 sets of customers in the place that late and it would have been a lot more professional, but likely less profitable, to have approached us at the salad bar while we were "checking it out" and at least given us the option to not partake in it. Waiting until after we had eaten so we had no choice seems a bit shoddy in the business practise dept. On the upside the place was very clean . Our steaks were properly prepared, but of a lower quality, so despite the saladbar rip off, all was not lost.The bottom line is that now I know what sizzler is all about, I likely would find a better steak at a place that is a little more "squared away" in th ebusiness practise dept.

The service was superior. Jeanene is an awesome waitress anticipating our every need. The food was delicious! Two of my grandsons discovered shrimp which they had not eaten before and loooooved them. It was a great experience. My daughter and I really enjoyed the salad bar. The best around!!! I would highly recommend eating there.

My waitress was Martha ....all I can say is she's awesome .....she payed attention to details and always checking on us. Thank you -Steve

We had a late lunch there and truly enjoyed ourselves! The salad bar is most excellent and the variety of main buffet items is great. We really liked the service and friendly attitude of the people there. Dessert choices are outstanding and all you can est. We will return again~~~~~
