Everything about this was okay. I can see the draw of it all, but it wasn't anything too spectacular. We were there when it's was colder, so that might have affected the experience, but overall it was just fair.

The SkyLounge sits atop The Glenn hotel. I reviewed the hotel and you'll see that I loved it. The SkyLounge is a great spot that you should definitely hit. Hotel guests are free, non-guests pay a $5 cover. You go up a separate elevator and step out to see the entire Atlanta skyline. It's a beautiful view. They had a girl singing and playing acoustic guitar. She added a lot to the vibe. I was on business and not with my wife, but everyone else was coupled up and seemed to be enjoying themselves. It's very romantic and would be a great place to take a date.

My wife and I sat here and had drinks and watched the sun set. The views of Atlanta are nice. The drinks are a little expensive, but the atmosphere is nice.

Located at the top of the Glenn Hotel, the SkyLounge has some of the best views of Atlanta, especially the Ferris wheel, Centennial Park and the skyline. The space isn't big (holds maybe a couple of hundred people) and the drinks can be expensive (between $12-16) each, so be prepared to get there early and/or wait in line on nights that are in high-demand. Certainly worth checking out if you're in the area, and free if you're staying in the hotel ($5/person, if not). Enjoyed it!

This place was one of the best thing in Atlanta. We had very good time with girls here. Everybody were friendly, food was deliciuos, good coctails and music. We just fall in love this place. And view in Atlanta was amazing!

Great views of the Atlanta skyline. Lot's of fun with a couple or in a group. Space heaters when it's chilly. Friendly bartenders and good conversations and ideas of what is happening on a certain night. Always ready to give good advice.

The views from atop of the sky lounge are breathtaking. The staff is the best anywhere. Make sure you visit the bar while enjoying that amazing view!

Had a quick visit since no seats available and the bartender was too busy for my liking. The view is interesting and worth the trip up to the roof.

We had dinner at the hotel and went up to enjoy the sky lounge and drinks. it was spectacular. The view, the ambiance...everything!

We had a blast at the sky lounge on top of the glen hotel in downtown Atlanta the partying went on forever it's a must !

This is a great place to hangout and see the city at night while listening to music and sipping a cocktail. Smoking is also allowed. We liked the convenience of it since we stayed at the Glenn Hotel. If you are not a guest, you pay 5.00 to get in. My friend had a hat/golf hat and was not allowed to enter with it. But there was another guy wearing a Kangol hat and was allowed to go by security. It didn't make sense for us and we were hotel guests. Anyways, my friend took off his hat. This place is nice but that Friday we were there, the majority of the people were gay men. I have nothing against them but we were looking for a more balanced crowd which we didn't find that night. Hopefully next time we come back, we will have a better experience. The views at the Sky lounge is amazing!

What a great way to see the entire city while relaxing with some light bites and drinks. The wait staff is very friendly and will answer questions about the buildings / sites that you see as the lounge rotates around.

I hosted 20 friends at the SkyLounge for my 50th birthday party and we had a great evening! Jordan was a pleasure to work with and guided me through the planning and menu selection. I highly recommend the SkyLounge for social and business gatherings. the view is spectacular of Centennial Park and the City Skyline!

Despite the rain...my wife and I enjoyed a pre-show cocktail. Hakeem was a wonderful bartender and host. Love the views although the rain diminished them some.

This is on top the the Glenn Hotel. Good wine and since we stayed in the hotel, it was free from 5:30 - ? (we needed to leave by 7.

Enjoyed the crowd, view & hearing concerts in the park from the rooftop. The DJ was good & the drinks were reasonably priced. Security folks were friendly.

The sky lounge is a great place on a clear night to see downtown Atlanta over a drink or two. Atop the Glenn Hotel - which is also a very friendly place.

If you are a guest at the Glenn no cover but if not $5. The view is well worth the cost. Drinks were ok. Strong.

Very nice to sit and have drinks and appetizers. The view is faboulous and live musis was great. Good for the views and a little dancing. Very small so seating is limited and drinks are average. Around $10 with the daily mix $5. I tried it and it was fair but the other drinks were great.

This is located on top of the Glenn Hotel. I have stopped here during the week once or twice in the last year. They always have a DJ. There are plenty of couches and chairs for lounging. There is a beautiful, unobstructed view of the city. There is an outdoor bar upstairs where the drink prices and selections are nothing special. There is a recently implemented dress code to keep the place safe and respectable. If I was staying in the hotel with my husband, I would definately check it out prior to going out for the evening.

Hospitality event in conjunction with the National Safety Congress Expo. Beautiful open air view of downtown Atlanta. The staff were attentive, the drinks were plentiful... the food... mixed greens, slaw, macaroni & cheese, pulled pork, smoked sausage and... brisket. It was all good but the brisket was outstanding. I'm standing in line for thirds (hey, they had lots and come on - it's brisket) - the gentleman in front of me puts the brisket on his plate and then precedes to cover it with bbq sauce... I almost slapped him. It didn't need the help... it didn't need anything but to be savored and enjoyed. Get the brisket - and if you can get some to go -- let me know, I'll shoot you my address.

Spent an hour here after an all day meeting with colleagues. Wasn't crowded at 6pm:) Bartender was super nice, and the simple ambience was perfect for relaxing after work. The outdoor balcony is where you'll want your photo taken. It's at the top of the Glenn Hotel, which is an ideal choice when going to Phillips Arena and touring the Centennial Park area.

We didn't stay in the Glenn Hotel, but we found its rooftop bar online and knew we had to check it out. (we do this in all the cities we travel to!) The atmosphere was amazing with a live DJ and a mix of bar stools and comfortable chairs and couches. The view of downtown is just simply stunning, without any major obstacles blocking your view. The bartenders were friendly and service was great. The entrance to the bar was a bit hard to find but we just had to ask someone as we wandered around the hotel lobby. :) This is a really well done rooftop bar. You'll like that there aren't walls around the bar and there are just some short little gates that are around the perimeter. But honestly it just feels like you are on the roof of a residential building! So in conclusion, I can't comment on the hotel rooms, but if you are staying in downtown Atlanta, you should DEFINITELY pay a visit to this wonderful rooftop bar. (other great comparable rooftops are located at "The Standard Hotel" in Downtown LA and 230 Fifth in New York City). They are just well done, provide great service, are a bit pricey, but you'll find that they offer a wonderful experience.

The skyLounge offers an spectacular view of Atlanta. The drinks were cold and the view was fabulous.

We was with the kind wissem she help us and she give us nice table with a good view and every thing was perfect and nice place and the drinks and food .

A down to earth approach to open air venue. Great for a private business party. Nice views and great food. Get out of the hustle and find you a piece of the sky.

The first place that I visited in Atlanta! Really nice view. Just love it I went with my family as well!! And they love it. The food was fine. The drinks good.

The elevator to the sky deck does not stop flush with the floor creating a minor fall hazard. The major fall hazard is the unsecured and uneven pavers used as flooring on the sky deck. These things are downright dangerous. I can’t imagine trying to negotiate the floor of this bar while drunk. I’m sure if you fell, the hotel would blame you for being drunk in their bar regardless of the unstable, unsafe flooring. I do not know why the city would issue an occupancy permit for such a hazardous area but it is in Atlanta. The service was very slow but at least the complimentary wine was good. The view from the deck is mostly toward the north and east views of Atlanta's sky line.

An awesome way to end the night. My hubby and I went here after dinner. Great music and drinks and an awesome view of the city. Its a good place to go to just relax, listen to music and enjoy the Atlanta view.

My husband and I stayed at the Glenn and visited the SkyLounge while there. The view of Atlanta's skyline is amazing! They have a pretty good bar menu, including some signature drinks. Great place for a small party!

I went to a wedding that had their post-reception party here. The drinks were good, but it's worth visiting for the city views alone!

I was staying at the Glenn hotel which is a small, historic, wonderful hotel that is a Marriott Autograph property. That means, you don't see the Marriott name anywhere and there is solid quality. The Glenn feels independent owned and it is charming. There is a great lobby bar and great restaurant called Glenn's kitchen. But, on the roof is the SkyLounge bar. There were private functions there three nights in a row, and I was invited to one of them. The wine, beer, and drinks were great. Good service and good energy. the view is terrific. The food was catered through the restaurant as passed apps and I loved it.

Love the location and atmosphere. Have a couple drinks when just relaxing and enjoying the view of the city lights. Very nice chill spot and bar setting. It is just a nice upscale lounge i must say.

Great place to sit and enjoy the view with a glass or two of wine. We didn't eat there, but it was really interesting to see where our hotel fitted into the general layout of town (for some reason it was better than checking out the map, not sure why!!)

The reason to have a drink here is simply the amazing nighttime city views from this location. If you are in the city, make time for a quick visit. I recommend a visit at night to enjoy the views from above to experience the lights of the city. Can't comment on the bar food, etc. Drink was fine. The view was excellent.

We did not stay there but the roof top sky loung is great. Not expensive, really chill layout and a great view. Shame about the plastic cups but don't let that put you off. We were there from 7pm till 10pm on a Saturday night and it was not too crowded or loud but it looked like it was going to get that way as we left. Catch sunset on the roof.

This is a nice bar with a great view looking at downtown. Excellent service, good drinks, and can be enclosed in bad weather. Great spot to have a cocktail if you're early for dinner reservations downtown, or even for a night cap after dinner.

My partner and I dont drink but wanted to view the city from the top of the Hotel! If you stay there-there is no cover charge but if your not a guest there is a five dollar cover charge. They have appetizers and live music on the roof and the view is just great. Best place to view Downtown.

For a five star Marriott hotel this fails to make the mark. Uncomfortable seating with canvas roof over you located on the building rooftop. Small platter of cheese and meats was 17.42. dissapointed.

Googled some lounges and this one had good reviews plus the scenic view. I don't care if you are from ATL or not, the view from this place is magnificent. The atmosphere was relaxed, everybody minding their business, just drinking, and having a good time. There are couches and tables, basically everything you think a lounge should be. I went when it was drizzling (rain) and bit so next time I'll go after rainy season lol but definitely going back. Oh, Parking there is $10 but across the street there is parking for $3/hour. I only stayed 2 hrs so I think $6 is great for parking in ATL.

Great drinks, Beautiful view - what more could you want? Great staff - super friendly and made wonderful drink suggestions. They have heaters on the porch to keep you warm and they put plastic barrier up when it's windier.

We spent a lovely hour here drinking chilled wine, listening to a live singer and watching the sunset, lovely.

This place is downright awful. I hosted a small happy hour with some colleagues and was so embarrassed by this place. The space they gave us was decent and had some lovely views of the city but that's where it stops. I had ordered several items of finger food which they brought out at a snails pace. Our event ran from 6:30pm-8:30pm. By 8pm they still had not brought out half of the food! It was ridiculous. I had to keep asking them to bring it out. if I had not asked, I don't think we would have received all the food we ordered. The service was painfully slow. I also saw a cockroach crawl across the bar. I did not point this out to any of my guests as I did not want to alarm them given we were receiving food from this establishment. The ambience was lacking, at one point there was nobody else in the bar (surprise, surprise, perhaps I was the only fool in town who didn't know how bad this place was). The food quality was also horrendous. I would not recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not return. I have no photos to share - I did not take any as I want to forget about this place as quickly as possible.

This is a great location for an evening cocktail...love the view and good spot for a group outing with friends!

The view is great and the Pinot Noir they were serving was excellent. There was a buffet that smelled delicious, but was mostly Asian food and I'm allergic to soy so I couldn't eat any of it. The breezes that come through can be strong, I wish I had brought a sweater and you had to look after your napkin, but it was nice.

I enjoyed visiting the Skylounge. It was very nice. Lots of different people…very diverse. Friendly bartenders. The drinks were really good. One bartender made me a pineapple drink with hennesy. It was so good. I did not like the type of music being sung by the young lady with the guitar. However, she was nice and had a wonderful voice. It would have been nice if there were different types of music played. I wanted to try Glenn’s Kitchen downstairs, but it closed at 10:00. The website said 11:00 though. The Skylounge views were nice. They had seatings in the outside area, however it rained and the cushions were not on there…so they were not being used. The charge cover charge is only $5.00. If you stay at the hotel, it is free.

Great place to have a great drink with someone special and overlook the city at the same time! Good music too!

Beautiful nighttime view! Great DJ! Stayed in the hotel with many others and even though there was music we could still talk up there...perfect place to hang out!

Great view sitting inside or outside you can see all of downtown atlanta ..drinks are a little expensive..overall a pretty venue

My friend and I stopped here for drinks after dinner. We wanted to try a rooftop bar in Atlanta since we don't have many at home. While the view was pretty everything else about this place was awful! First of all they charge a $5 cover. It was dirty, and the crowd was not what we were expecting. Not at all upscale. Doorman and bartenders were rude. And it looks nothing like the website photos. Would've been nice if they had the furniture shown but they definitely had cheaper wicker tables, wooden benches, no couches. I will not be going back. Much better rooftop bars in Atlanta

My husband and I stopped in for a drink since we were staying at the Omni next door. It was a Friday night and it was so loud inside you could barely hear the guy and his guitar. We had to move outside where it is a very good view, snapped a few photos and left since it was too windy and cool to stay out there. Would go back especially when its warmer and stay on the patio.

As others have mentioned, this is a small boutique bar/restaurant that has limited seating. BUT the view of the skyline is worth it! We grabbed a table outside on the patio on New Year's Eve eve, so it was cool but not unbearable. The appetizers were adequate but not great. The service was friendly and the drinks were good and priced based on the ambiance. If ordering beer or house wine, it is on par with any chain pricing. All in all, this is a great place for a date or worth a visit if in town for the night.

It's a nice rooftop bar on top of a hotel. There is no cover but they also don't have any drink specials. A house mixed drink is $10. The view is spectacular and the ambiance is nice.

great views but if you are not "undercover" its VERY VERY hot and VERY VERY SUNNY. went to a hosted party but were told "not to move outside the cones" - made you very uncomfortable to say the least - my thought would be if you are having an event don't let people fry in the sun and heat and don't chastise customers for stepping a foot outside of the invisible line. either have a designated area or close up the area for the event. food for event scarce - slow to come out. on the bright side (pun intended) great views and slightly cooler when the sun went down.

Great before or after date for drinks excellent view! Excellent location and atmosphere. Will try food next time

Had drinks here during happy hour and it was the perfect view! I would highly recommend this place to hang out with a group of Friends. The drinks were great, I suggest trying their sangria or other infusion cocktails! The view is spectacular of Centennial Park & the CNN hotel! The staff was also friendly!

This local gem is located on the top floor of the Glenn Hotel. It has a great view of the downtown area. However, the drinks menu is limited.

We visited the Sky Lounge at the Glenn Hotel recently and the views are incredible. From the lobby you go down to get to the elevator to the roof. Once on top the music is pumping and the views are amazing...and eventually you'll even get a drink.

Title says it all.. prices a little steep but it goes with the location and the layout. Comfortable furniture and very adult and urban ambience.

Wine happy hour, this is great place to enjoy an evening break with your favorite person before going out on the town.

Great view of Atlanta! The singer was excellent and did a special birthday shout out! The food and drinks not great at all! We had to send the sampler platter back. People only for the view. Small area so be prepare to stand and shift all night.

It was a nice lounge - pretty view! Would have been better if didn't have plastic covering windows - made it harder to see out clearly.

Beautiful views and an eclectic cocktail menu. A must for those visiting the city who want to take some cool selfies and great group shots with an amazing background.

The SkyLounge is located on the rooftop of the Glenn Hotel. The night time views of downtown Atlanta are stunning! I was disappointed that there was not more of a local vibe instead the rooftop was dominated by a conference group. Still recommended.

I thought the SkyLounge had a beautiful view. The 5 dollar deal drink was pretty good. The overall vibe I got when we were there was an older crowd with older music. Though it did pick up some late night. Seating is arranged nice and a good place to mingle.

We were guests at the Glenn Hotel and decided to partake in their free wine hour during the evening. What a great view and a great perk of being a guest. This is a must do even if you are not a hotel guest!

At 10 stories, this is not one of the Atlanta's tall buildings, but this bar on the rooftop still gives you a great view of the skyline, the Ferris Wheel and Centennial Olympic Park. It's not a fancy place but still a very comfortable place to enjoy a drink. The staff was attentive and very nice.

I was invited to a party on the rooftop. Wonderful food and drinks. The view is amazing and we sat outside all night.

Great view with pricey drinks. Service was ok inspite of the crowds. Rooftop bars in Atlanta have a common denominator; over priced and watered down drinks. However, I would rate this place MUCH higher than the Whiskey Blue rooftop lounge at the W Hotel in Buckhead.

The Skylounge, at the top of the Glenn Hotel in Downtown Atlanta was a great find. The Living Room bar downstairs was fun but the Skylounge views beat it to our preferred spot to sit and take in a cocktail or two and the incredible view. Well worth a visit.

Great atmosphere for happy hour or a private event during the evenings. The city skyline is amazing.

My son and I recently stayed in downtown Atlanta. After having dinner at Glenn's Kitchen (inside the Glenn Hotel) we went upstairs for drinks to the SkyLounge. What an incredible view of downtown! If you're ever in downtown Atlanta, I encourage you to visit this rooftop bar.

Great bar high above the city, awesome views. Great drinks and appetizers sitting open air on the roof. Nice when the sun is going down.

Only stopped up for the view and a beer. The views are amazing of the CNN building, downtown Atlanta, and the ferris wheel. Nice atmosphere with live music many nights.

My boyfriend and I came up the SkyLounge after the Atlanta United game for a quick drink. We had been before and we knew the views were going to be beautiful, but at night the city's skyline is actually quite spectacular. The lounge looks out over Atlanta Centennial Park and the SkyView Ferris Wheel. The drinks were a bit on the pricey side, and there is only 1 bar on the rooftop patio, so the service isn't quick, but the views and the atmosphere make up for this. I've been here in the day and the evening and would tell anyone who's in the downtown Atlanta area to check it out - they will not be disappointed.

Went here for drinks with colleagues and enjoyed the atmosphere and views. Drinks were good and reasonably price. Service was slow, but if you sip and enjoy the view you don't really notice. Crowd was everyone from business suits to 20 somethings to married couples out on the town, Vibe was fun.

If you have to know where the "secret" entrance is, the bar is too "cool" for me. Drinks were overpriced - nothing special. There are gorgeous views; and if you can escape the smoke- it is a nice outdoor location.

After a sports event we scooted up to the sky bar over the Glenn Hotel. Raining a lot but somewhat enclosed with large commercial overhead heaters. Great service from Amanda who shares working in other areas of the Glenn. Had a guitarist who was pretty good. Made some new friends which buying drinks does quite frequently and stayed past midnight. Beautiful sights of lighted Atlanta

We had a long layover in Atlanta and wanted to find a bar with a view of the city. We weren’t disappointed! The drinks and lounge were great and there was even live music. Sunset on the roof was beautiful as well.

The drinks and atmosphere were excellent. The food menu is sparse and leaves more to be desired. There was live music and beautiful view of Atlanta. Great place to bring a date. Call before going because it is often closed for private events.

This is the rooftop bar at the Glenn Hotel on Marietta Street. We went there after dinner at a downtown restaurant and were blown away with the view. I was at the Hyatt Hotel's revolving restaurant earlier in the week, the Polaris, and the SkyLounge has more spectacular views. This is a must-visit for Atlanta residents and for tourists.

Hospitality event - friendly, attentive staff, wonderful view but the brisket was the highlight! If you have a chance to attend, or better yet, select this venue for a function while you're in Atlanta. Pick the brisket as one of your items... so good, I skipped dessert just to go back and get more. Oh, if you do, book this venue, be sure and invite me!

After watching a show at Philips Arena, I thought we should head over to the SkyLounge at the Glenn Hotel for a drink and a great view. Based on all the reviews and old photos, I thought this was going to be a classy lounge type setting. Instead, you get off the elevator and your senses are assaulted with the smell of stale beer and bad decisions. The place has the feel of a frat boy sports bar and definitely not what I was expecting. We quickly turned around and made our way back down without any regrets -- aside from wasting the $10 cover charge.

Good spot to have a drink, especially at night, good views of the city. If you stay here you have to check it out!

Came here to have a nice chill view of the city. The view is impressive. The bar itself is could you a little better design and decoration. The drink were ok, but not fantastic.
AMAZING VIEWS
The elevator ride to the 70th floor was scary as heck but the view was so worth it. Was there for a business event. Good was good and so were the drinks. Would like to come back for a date night.
