Simply wow!

The views from this place is absolutely stunning, must be experienced. We had drinks sitting in the lower part of the restaurant/bar and service was impeccable and the wine/drink list left nothing to ask for. An experience I will cherish for a long time.

Go to the Bellevue

By Jamie R |

My husband and I along with another couple left dinner on Saturday night and headed to the Bellevue for drinks then decided to come and try JG SkyHigh which was the worst mistake. We should of stayed at the Bellevue which had the best bartender. As soon as we walked into the lobby, the two men walked to the bathroom and us ladies waited in the lobby. While standing there having conversation with my friend (mine you, I am extremely low spoken) we notice 2 girls sitting on the bench being loud, rude, shoes off. A security guard comes up to my friend and I and tells that we received a phone call that we’re extremely intoxicated and if we decide to go upstairs we won’t be serve. The men at his point are walking back and see what is going on. The security guard who hasn’t even seen the men yet begins to say how intoxicated they are. Meanwhile, we’ve had 1 drink and no where near intoxicated. The bar may be great, we didn’t even go up but I can say that the security guards are rude and need to do a better job at judging patrons. Definitely won’t ever go to Jean Georges due to this.

Fantastic views

Absolutely delightful for a girls night out. It's hard to get hold of them for reservations. Try open table but it's limited to the number of people. We enjoyed beautiful views and met some fun people at the bar. The orchids are gorgeous. You have to get into a line at the elevator. Typical Philly fashion the employee helping with line up is obnoxious.

Sky High IS sky high and stunning... the most impressive bar in this city or almost any other

By Andrew W |

My drinks and dinner at the bar were the best part of my visit to Philadelphia. The JG (Jean-Georges) Sky High (it really is) bar is on the top floor (60th?) of the nice and newish Four Seasons. You take an express elevator straight up from the main reception area. The bar and restaurant take up the whole floor and its vaulted, cathedral ceiling is made entirely of glass. Really spectacular. Once you get there, you have to talk and navigate your way into a seat. The friendly but not overly friendly reception staff initially told us they were booked up but we hung around and after a few minutes, got seated at a high top table by ourselves. We ended up with a couple of very nice servers. There was a little attitude at this altitude but fortunately, it faded fast and should not deter anyone. The views are genuinely awe-inspiring and amazing. All of Philadelphia is at your feet. I was only in town for one night but I could see the whole city and get an idea of what was where. The design is incredible, modern and sleek. The drinks were fine and I can't really remember what we ate (a burger?). It was small in portion but very tasty. Both drinks and food were overpriced but I expected that... you are paying for the sky high setting. Definitely visit if you have a chance.

Nice view, good food.

Located next to the 60th-floor-lobby of the Four Seasons Philadelphia at Comcast Center, this is a casual, approachable version of the more sophisticated Jean Georges restaurant one level down. The view is nice, the food is good at reasonable prices. We had lunch here and were satisfied with it.

Stunning views and great food and service

By AshesToProveIt |

I have had lunch at Skyhigh three times. The views on a clear day are wonderful and the seating is modern and comfortable. The restaurant offers a choice of a set lunch menu of two or three courses, or you can order individual dishes. All three of my meals were excellent and the service was attentive and professional. Ordering a la carte can keep the cost under control, but for my last lunch I ordered three courses off the price fix menu - expensive, but every dish was great, with a great presentation. The good news is that there is no music or other noisy background to interfere in your ability to talk to your guests. However, for private meetings, note that based on the size of your group and seating arrangements, you may be seated near enough to other diners where you can hear the other diners' conversation and they can hear yours.

Great Views and a Polished, Lively Atmosphere

By Bunker Blake |

My wife and I stopped by SkyHigh for drinks before dinner at Vernick Fish, and it was an excellent choice. It was our first proper night out in months with very young kids, and the experience felt genuinely special. This review is for the upper-level bar. We visited once in 2021, and what impressed me most this time is how well Skyhigh has aged. Many modern, design-forward venues look great at first but start to feel tired over time. SkyHigh still feels fresh, polished, and transportive without trying too hard. From the warm lobby welcome to the dramatic elevator ride up, the experience is thoughtfully executed. The views are outstanding, overlooking Philadelphia, the Schuylkill River, and the Art Museum. By 6:30 pm, the bar was already lively. Seating is first-come, first-served, with roughly 20 bar seats plus a standing area, and the turnover kept the energy moving well. They also serve food, though we didn’t eat. The ambiance really stands out. The lighting and music felt loungey and upbeat, more Mykonos or Miami Beach than a typical hotel bar. It’s energetic but still comfortable for conversation, no need to fill the air. The crowd was stylish but not ostentatious. We had three spicy margaritas, and with tip, the bill came to $91—expensive but expected for a venue of this caliber. The bartender was friendly, professional, skilled, and approachable. I’m often mixed on hotel bars, but SkyHigh really works. It captures a sophisticated side of Philadelphia while remaining tasteful and grounded. A great sunset spot, ideal for entertaining visitors, and somewhere we look forward to returning. Thank you!

Fantastic!!!

Beautiful room! Was cloudy so no view from dining room but glass elevator gave a nice vantage point for a bit. Service was great, food was delicious. Reasonably priced breakfast. Overall special experience!!! Highly recommend

Beautiful space, Horrible service

By Bob T |

Good food, beautiful selecting, but service HORRIBLE. Everything took forever, broke the Rhythm of the dinner, and when pointing that out to the waiter he proceeded to insult us for saying so. Go for a drink at the bar and skip everything else

Buyer beware!

The highlight was the incredible view from the 60th floor. Food and service...quite the opposite. First, it's expensive. Cocktail menu was sparse. The ginger magarita was top notch, the boulavardier not so much. My wife's cosmapolitia was average. At $19 a pop, one would expect excellence. My $29 fontana and black truffle pizza was barely edible. Very little cheese and it was burnt so the cheese was all crisp and much of the crust black. The rigatoni with meatballs was average and a small portion. I recommend the view and a cocktail, but that's it. Note. Of my many reviews on TA there are very few this critical.

Perfect for a special occasion

By Wander |

We had the unfortunate luck of having no view outside the windows at Skyhigh due to low cloud cover. But the service we experienced more than made up for the lack of view. We were promptly sat after arrival and we had a great, attentive server. We put in our drink orders and we had a small delay in receiving them and she brought out complimentary glasses of champagne as a apology for the wait. We also received a sorbet for our anniversary which was nice of them. Our actual drinks were also great.

Service and atmosphere

By Mark R |

My husband and I stopped here for drinks before meeting friends for dinner at another venue. It was so nice, that we brought our dinner friends back here after dinner. The building is beautiful, the staff is beyond excellent and the atmosphere of the restaurant is outstanding. JG Sky High is on the 60th floor and the ride on the glass elevator was visually enjoyable. Though we need to wait, both times, to access the bar area, we eventually had comfortable seats and excellent bartenders. The views of Philadelphia were excellent and the atmosphere was also excellent.

A Memorable Evening at SkyHigh – A Must-Visit in Philly

By Bridget Mitchell |

My daughter and I had the absolute pleasure of dining at the stunning SkyHigh restaurant, perched on the 60th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia at the Comcast Center. Around the holidays, it’s best to book reservations in advance, and it’s well worth the planning. SkyHigh offers a **chic dining experience with breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views** of the city skyline. The space was beautifully decked out in Christmas holiday finery, creating a festive and elegant atmosphere. Highlights from the menu included the crispy salmon sushi and pepper-crusted beef tenderloin, all served in a stylish setting with floor-to-ceiling windows and live music adding to the magic. The ambiance, views, exceptional food, and attentive service came together to make this an evening we won’t soon forget. Truly an unforgettable experience that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Philly—especially during the holiday season.

Stunning

This really is the only viewpoint in Philadelphia We timed our visit for sundown The place is full of people dressing up for a special evening in the less refined of the 2 Four Seasons Hotel but it still extremely special and shares the space with the fine dining area The decor and views are amazing We were well looked after and shown to a table by the window We chatted to a lovely waitress from Ireland The food was simple but tasted good A great evening

Dinner with a view

Nice relaxed and stylish atmosphere. Very good and considerate service. The food was fine, nothing exceptional, however the prices were not exorbitant. People wanting huge portions might want to eat elsewhere. Wonderful views and a great setting for a romantic or special meal.

This restaurant was built to impress.

By Lee A |

This restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel was made to impress. From the speedy elevator ride from the first floor to the top; to the ceiling mirrors and madness of fresh flowers galore; to the fabulous 360-degree views...and then the food and service which were great too. Our server Theresa (and runners Joey and Lenny) took good care of us and made great recommendations. I had the Spinach Benedict and my husband had the Fried Chicken. I started the meal with a lovely Corn Soup. We finished with a Strawberry Sundae.

Great view, weird experience

By mrscress |

Stopped in around 2-3p without a reservation for a seat at the bar for a drink before our plans elsewhere. Waited about 20 mins downstairs before being let up on the elevator. This is completely understandable as we didn’t have a reservation. Once up to Skyhigh, however, we were ushered into the one bar space where everyone was squeezed in despite the rest of the area being entirely empty except for two seated tables. Several small kids sitting at the bar on their phones was weird. Several people had to stand or lean on a ledge while the couches and high tops around us were all empty but staff would not let anyone utilize. We didn’t have a seat and had to awkwardly stand behind people in the small area. Paid about $20 for their version of a cosmo that was just ok. Thought about ordering an app but it didn’t look like the families with their kids were going anywhere so we had one drink, took a look at the view, and got ourselves out to much better experience down the street. The decor and view are stunning and worth visiting to check out. The service and experience left much to be desired. Feigned exclusively with lots of empty space. Maybe it was an off afternoon.

Awesome experience

Beautiful building. Sat at the bar, and had an amazing experience with Matt and Adrienne. Cocktails we’re delicious, food was tasty.

Embarrassed

By sam c |

I hate to write this review because the food was delicious. But we waited three hours for a main course and the waitress didn’t come back to see if we needed our beverages refreshed nor was there any bread service. We had suggested this restaurant to colleagues from Australia, and we were extremely embarrassed by the whole situation.

Great Atmosphere

By kiwiandmolly |

I chose to go to Skyhigh for breakfast when visiting the city namely to enjoy the views of the city from the 60th floor of the Four Seasons. The view did not disappoint, but the food was equally delicious. I had the avocado toast with smoked salmon. Everything about that choice was amazing! The portion size was just right. It's a pricier breakfast, but for the ambiance and food quality it was worth it. The service was impeccable. Early in the morning when I went, it was a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there!

Fabulous!

Heirloom tomato and summer fruit salad was very nice. The Yellowfin Tuna tartare was exquisite, with avocado, radish, ginger dressing, chili oil. The pepper crusted beef tenderloin was superbly cooked and very tasty; and the rigatoni with meatballs could not have been better. Server was perfect; view was to die for.

Wonderful service and views

We were staying at the Sofitel and the concierge recommended that we visit SkyHigh to admire the views. We didn't realise it was a stunning bar and restaurant until we got there, with two young children in tow. We didn't have a reservation but Nuri Harris did an incredible job of not only finding us a table, but treating our children wonderfully. This, in turn, made us feel a lot more relaxed and we had a fantastic evening. The food was incredible, as were the cocktails and views. A must see if headed to Philly!

A great way to start the day

By Simon A |

We went for breakfast as the menu is not much more expensive than other hotels and you get the view for free.. The service was excellent and the food very tasty with some good twists on breakfast favourites. In particular the Sunny side up fritatta which was great. They were fine with us wandering around getting some photos . Don't be put off by the fact it's within the Four seasons hotel as all the team were welcome and friendly.

Ambiance!

Excellent ambiance. I love the view of the City that you get from this establishment. You are truly up sky high! The elevator almost feels like a ride. The drinks are well-crafted. The menu items are bursting with flavor, we ordered pizza and white fish(I can’t remember if it was sea bass or some other white fish but it was excellent).

I’m top of the world hey

Skyhigh Restuarant by Jean Georges is superb! A must try when visiting Philadelphia. With any Four Seasons location the staff is attentive and a delight. Shoutout to our main server Kayla along with the rest of the team. Service was exceptional, food was delicious - went for breakfast. Try the frittata and accompany it with glass sparkling wine (Cremant)

Amazing from the Moment You Get In The Elevator!

By mrs_un0 |

There are no words to adequately describe this amazing hotel and bar/restaurant. The elevator is a whole other experience as you are swept into the sky to the 60th floor. Once you exit, you are met by a beautiful lobby filled with fabulous floral arrangements by the one and only Jeff Leatham. Walk past the lobby and become immersed in the best view of Philadelphia. Top that off with amazing drinks and food and its literally heaven on earth. My family and I had a lovely holiday lunch and our son was in awe of the view. Definitely recommend!

Slow food experience

By Scenic793832 |

Arrived for an early lunch. The waiter informed us that a lot of the machinery in the kitchen was broken so there was a limited menu. It took about 2 1/2 hours for the kitchen to produce our simple appetizers and sandwiches. The appetizer was brought out for one of us 30 minutes before the other person’s arrived. (We were told the food had burned so they had to redo it.) Our simple sandwiches took another hour. This is all rather amusing because you are informed in advance that your table session is limited to one and a half hours.
