Food was great. Karen our server knew the drink menu and beers and made excellent choices for my daughter and I. She also made our first visit one we will remember. Thanks Karen

Dinner at 50/50

By vernon r |

I had a lot of family in from out of town. Slattery accommodated our large group. The service was awesome, the place is clean, food was outstanding.

You should go

By Dellse |

The appetizers were great, fresh and hot…tater kegs were tasty and crisp, and the mozzerella wheels were just great. Had a hard time deciding on a burger- opted for the monster smoke with the 50/50 patty. All was superb…well cooked, bun was soft and not at all dry. You should go!

Great food

Food is great and Stephanie is amazing! Always ask for Stephanie. Now I need to add 100 characters just to post this. So don't forget to ask for Stephanie

Dinner after a game

By 4bernales |

Nice looking restaurant! Great beer selection! Food mediocre at best! We had the tuna nacho to start. You can tell tuna was frozen. Nacho itself disappointing! Don't know why you would fry hominy and put it in nachos? Almost broke my tooth! Then I had the mozzarella flat bread disappointing! Bread was not crispy at all chew and tough! My wife and daughter had burgers. Sad to say that jack n the box has better burger? Sorry! Very disappointing they missed the mark!

Great new place for us

Vegan Options!

By Laura Vittadini |

We placed a carry out order for our family of five. Everyone got something different. I ordered the Veggie Burger with Sweet Potato Fries as the side. There was a perfect amount of mushrooms on the top & I enjoyed it! Everyone else enjoyed what they ordered, as well!

Best food for a bar and grill five star!!!!!

By Sandra Leyva-Aleong |

Amazing as we walk in , decorated so cool, how the recycled kegs are used , the beer handles hanging on the ceiling , to the whale picture behind the bar

Too new to judge

By yorosey |

Went here in first week or so after opening, I can tell it has potential but they need to work out the kinks first. Food looked good but wasn’t as good as it looked. Staff is still learning. I will give them another try as the menu and beer selection is good just think I went to soon after they opened.

Great place to hang out with friends.

By Passenger717625 |

Excellent place to hang with friends or your special someone. Service is spot on and the food is great. Large selection on draft beers on tap. Have been here many times will continue into the future.

Solid off strip choice for tasty burgers & beer

By Dear Virginia |

We discovered this place through the Netflix show talking about their crazy Whale burger. The place was packed on a weekday afternoon & we definitely weren’t the only ones who were there because of the show. As a family of teen boys, this place was a hit! S’mores shake was amazing. The 24k burger & Peanut butter and jelly burger were both great. Hot chicken sandwich was super spicy coming from a high tolerance spicy food lover. Banana bread beer was sweet & tasted just like it’s name.

Whale Burger Excellence!

By Rebecca Z |

After seeing SayHitoMatthew Youtube review I just had to go on next visit to Vegas. I am not a burger person-hubby is I just wanted the deep fried lobster tail. OMG it did not disappoint, absolutely delicious. Best burger my hub has ever had. Took half the burger home, still delicious 2nd day. Fries are excellent as well. Friendly efficient service.

Was ok

By NatRod |

Went for dinner. Not busy at all so we sat right down which was great. Server just came off of break and all I could smell was cigarettes. Server was friendly though. Food was ok. Was expecting more from what I heard about this place but for us it was underwhelming. It was just ok for us. People at the bar were really loud. May go back & give another chance but not sure.

Burgerlicious

By Robin |

I went for the "secret" menu item (whaleburger) and it did not disappoint. Alex was a great server and provided information on things to at a reasonable cost.

Great burger, bland dip

By Tim W |

I got the buffalo burger......which was really good....and the sweet potato fries.....which were kinda mushy.....and the Vampire Dip......which was pretty bland. You'd think with a name like "Vampire" it would at least be spicy. It wasn't.

Best burger I've had in forever.

By Steve M |

Great service, great food and good beer selection. I had the grilled Brussel sprouts and a 50/50 burger (double patty). Both were excellent.

Top tier on our list!

By Ryandawntaira |

Slater’s 50/50 is always our first stop when we visit vegas! Everything we have tried there has been phenomenal! This time I tried the peanut butter and jelly burger, it was melt in your mouth delicious! And don’t miss the vampire dip!!

Interesting Concept

By Loren L |

You should like Bacon 1but don't have too to go. The portions are nice sized. Presentation is done well and servers are nice. If you have allergies they are accommodating. However; be careful to make sure your order is modified. I have allergies and specifically explained them and double checked. This was not enough. I asked for no garlic Aioli and due to my dairy allergy. Foolish me, I did not dissect my burger because under the lettuce was Garlic Aioli sauce. Two bites in I noticed it and alerted the server. They took their time made me a new burger. Great the damage was done my body reacted and I was in pain and discomfort for a few days. They should have handled it differently management should have followed up to make sure I wasn't in the hospital.

King of the Castle

The food was great and service was even better. Alyse did a great job. We had 8 people in our party and she was great handling all of us.

Go here if you want an amazing burger and great service

By Gerald B |

What a great place to discover!! Had a business lunch there on a whim but want to go back socially!!! Stephanie was an amazing, intuitive, and timely server!!!!! The food was OMG!! Big portions!! A little overpriced but everything is and it’s worth every bite. Definitely coming back

Good food, poor dining ambiance.

By Char X |

I was here within the first 30 days of this locations opening. So perhaps my experience reflects them "working the kinks out". I have ate at their San Diego CA location and loved it. That location was warm and inviting. This location felt like we were packed into a warehouse. No feng shui. Loud and echo'y. Poor sun shades, we were sweating. Our order had the side dish wrong. One burgers meat seemed "old"/under heat lamp texture. The waitress was average. The busser was great. The manager was kind. We were there a hour before the dinner rush and the floor and both benches needed a sweep, a lot of crumbs.

Worth the trip

By PaulieO1965 |

Variety of burgers and tap beers that if I lived there I would try most of them. Prices are reasonable..staff is friendly and attentive. I had the original 50/50 and some of my wife's backyard classic. Both were very good. Tried 2 beers and liked both. I was driving. I would be a regular if I lived there

Great Tap Beer List, Outstanding Food

By Rich807 |

Outstanding tap list, food taste & presentation. Staff were totally on top of the service side of things. Will be returning here no doubt about it.

Fabulous All Around

By Karen S |

Jennica was fabulous! In addition to the great service the food was fantastic! We had the bacon cheeseburger and the s’mores shake! Can’t go wrong with either!! We also had the tots and fritters as appetizers. Awesome dinner!

Awesome

By Chiefbuff |

Ok, so we stopped for lunch and were not disappointed. Staff is friendly helpful and chatty which is great. Manager spent 15 minutes at our table taking about smoking meats, bacon and the company background. Brought out samples of all their bacon and some fries. Food was excellent and so many choices we will need to keep going back and work our way through the menu. It’s a must try for you.

Great burgers and service!!!

By Erin J |

Great place. We can’t wait to go back and try more items on the menu. Alyse was great and the food was amazing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good burger joint but so are many others

By pflau |

Stopped by for dinner. Had the Vampire Jalapeño Poppers and Sriracha Burger. The Jalapeño Poppers were definitely the highlight, maybe it's because I love Jalapeño. The Sriracha Burger was average. I just didn't taste the difference from that 50/50 meat. If anything it was on the dry side. And for something called sriracha it just wasn't spicy as I expected. The Garlic Parmesan Fries that I ordered with the burger were pretty good. All said I've gone to plenty of other speciality burger joints both national and local and this is a solid average.

The whale burger

By Andrew B |

The whale burger was amazing. We ended up getting 4 of them and 2 24kt burgers. It was well worth the price for not only the taste all the burgers but also the experience.

Wow!

By Traveling_Macks |

Didn’t know Slater’s had made it out to Vegas. Saw it while driving by and stopped in. Glad we did. Lots of menu items to choose from. Ordered the frickles (fried pickles), vampire dip, and split the PB and Jellousy burger. The frickles were good, served with a honey mustard dip that really brought out the bitterness in the dill. Not necessarily a bad thing! The vampire dip is a super cheesy affair with artichoke in it, served in a sourdough bowl with carrots, celery, and pita wedges. AWESOME and highly recommended! The burger was delicious and reminded me of my first experience of a peanut butter burger in New Orleans. You might think “ewww” but you’d be oh so wrong. The flavor combinations of the patty, PB, jelly and think cut bacon go so well together. As a note, the regular fries are typically cooked a little longer, almost overdone for me. Let them know if this is an issue for you. This place also has a HUGE selection of beer, the usual suspects along with some great local choices. They offer flight samples so you can try a few without the whole problem of getting lit trying everything! I definitely recommend this place!

Great spot

By WashingtonTravelMom |

Great place. Service was helpful and attentive. Food was yummy. 24k gold burger and vampire dip were both delicious. Bacon ketchup was amazing.

This is a to go review

By Jedimasterkush |

After Slaters50-50 kept popping up on my Instagram left and right over the past week I thought I would look them up and give them a try ( The advertising worked… LOL). Their menu has a lot of great things on it. I ordered the vampire dip, the Lonestar smoked burger and the Reese‘s peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert. In the bag was reheat instructions for the vampire dip which was perfect. My burger unfortunately did not look like it does on the ad because they had to put it in half in the to go container and by the time I got home the fries were soggy and so was the bun and the onion rings were no way as big as the ones in the picture on the menu. That aside the burger was very tasty and the beer cheese sauce that came with the fries was spectacular. The vampire dip and the cake were also really good too. I am chalking up all the issues to not getting it fresh at the restaurant where I’m sure everything would’ve been even better than it already was. I definitely plan to go back soon and try everything fresh at the restaurant. I know there’s a lot of choices in Vegas but if nothing else take a look at the Slaters menu online. That alone will probably get you to go there.

Great Burger Experience

By Dan C |

What a great variety of burgers and beers. It took a while to decide on what to eat as everything sounded so good. The Jalapeno Jackpot burger was a hit. The bacon wrapped jalapeno was excellent as was the burger itself. Each of the burgers and sides were expertly prepared and delivered quickly.

Terrible smell, high bill.

By Aud E |

First off, the place smells like sewer. We asked the waiter, he said it always smells that way. The food was terrible. Everything tastes the same. They forgot the bacon on every sandwich. Last but not least, the price. Outrageous. For 3 people to have burgers and a drink it was $80! I won’t be back.

Amazing Burgers, Cheesy Heaven, and Great Beer—A Must-Visit!

By Nowell H |

Staying at South Point Hotel and craving something different? Trust the front desk's recommendation and make the 5-minute trip to Slater's 50/50 - this hidden gem serves up the best burgers in Las Vegas. The 24K Burger is no mere hype, with its indulgent, perfectly-cooked patty that proves Slater's well-deserved reputation. Every rich, flavorful bite showcases the quality ingredients. The Pork Belly Grilled Cheese is a flavor explosion, the melt-in-your-mouth pork belly complemented by crispy bread and melty cheese. And the Vampire Dip - cheesy, garlicky goodness that had me scraping the bowl clean - is a standout. With a killer craft beer selection and a family-friendly atmosphere, Slater's 50/50 is now a must-visit for me every time I'm in Vegas.

High in Price; Low on service

By Donedon |

Went here on a Saturday night. Our server was as friendly as a pothole-filled street. Slower than a school speed zone, our server took his time coming over to us, getting our appetizers out to us, delivering our entrees, and retrieving our drinks from the bar. It's a cool place if you like sports bars, but not for much else. The fried mac an cheese balls were few and number and high in price. The bbq pizza flatbread was ok but wayyyy overpriced! If you expect (and deserve) good service, there are a phalanx of other choices in Vegas.

Awesome Lunch

Excellent food and Service. Ask for Alyse. She made the experience even better. Order the vampire dip.

Outstanding food & service

Met here last Saturday with 40 other UCLA alums to cheer on our team. Despite the large group, service was quick and friendly. Ordered the Southwest Caesar salad ($14) and it was terrific. Hubby enjoyed the Slater’s 50/50 burger ($14) with sweet potato fries. Sorry hubby, but I really enjoyed eating your fries!

Good Meat, Cold Fries, Lots of Mistakes

By jeremydbrooks |

It sounds like this place just opened up, but they got quite a bit wrong for us. First, the good: we had the bacon app sampler, and I had the 5050 BBB burger. It was all really good. Bacon overload, in a good way. The not so good: three of us got sweet potato fries, and they were cold and wrinkly. Also, as odd as it seems, they have a really good, hard to find vegan burger called Impossible Burger (because it so closely resembles ground beef) that was really good as well. BUT...they got it wrong twice (once it had cheese, once it had ketchup...all were confirmed to be excluded by the waitress each time), and by the time our vegan got her meal, we were long since done with our meals. The waitress did take it off of the bill. But then...the overly-anxious busser dumped guacamole on one our heads while removing dishes. Mistake, yes, but he was just waaay to rushed to clear plates and was wooshing around the floor like the boss was watching. Also, they advertise a free appetizer when you download the app, but when you order it, they tell you that it's only one particular appetizer. It was a decent appetizer, but not the one we had picked out, so we paid for one and got one for free...which was way too much. Gluttony got the best of us. Our waitress was helpful and friendly, but she was at the mercy of the kitchen and clearly felt badly about it. We are all disappointed that we were too full to try the milkshakes...they looked awesome, but after all of that meat, we were done. Maybe I'll try again and hopefully revise this review, but 3 stars for now.

Different and Delicious

By Katkem |

Had a coupon and decided to try it!! Wasn’t busy, seated right away. 6:30 on Wed. Night Really unusual menu choices! 50/50 is 1/2 beef 1/2 bacon blend! We had the 50/50 sliders, fried pickles, ( too much breading needed more pickle in there) crispy, sweet onion rings, and a cheese dip in a bread bowl served with the best pita bread I’ve ever tasted!! And the S’more Shake, that was AMAZING! Waitress was very good, attentive, food came out very quickly! Great Food, Great Service!!!

Self-guided Vegas Food Tour!

By Scarlett T |

Nice place and the food was good. We had heard a lot of hype so had high expectations. The Slaters Vampire dip was by far the best thing we ate and we almost didn’t order it. Definitely order this when you visit. Another big hit with my crew was the sweet potatoes with pumpkin sauce. Wow - so good! After that nothing else we had stood out as over the top fantastic. With that said everything was really good and I would recommend.

Just two words: BACON and BURGERS

By Jane G |

I don’t even know where to begin, but I’m going to try. Have you ever been to a bar and grill centered solely on BACON? No? Do you love BACON? BACON is always a part of the entrees Slater’s offers. How can you go wrong with BACON everywhere in this restaurant. What more do you need to know? Everything is better with BACON!

NEW to the Neighborhood, and definitely a Must-Dine

By Thomas K |

I have been awaiting for the Grand Opening of Slater's 50/50. It's a upscale Burger and Beer restaurant, that will appeal to foodies and bar crowd. I ordered the Best Damn Burger (double-patty). Next time, I would order just a single patty, due to the size. The burger was very good. Cooked perfectly with bacon (which is the signature of the restaurant). I had a Bloody Mary with infused bacon-Volka and Bacon strips. YUP, it was good...and NO celery! My husband had a Cobb salad with plenty of bacon and fried sweet potatoes fries. We both had a beer as well. Drink selection is HUGE with even local breweries. Crafted cocktails look pretty interesting. And, thanks for Kylie being our server...excellent job!

Great Pub!

By Veeka07 |

First time we come here! Great food and atmosphere! Had the 50/50 burger! Highly recommend the Vampire Dip! Ask for Karen as your waitress! She is a sweetheart! She'll take great care of you!

Great service and food. Fun environment.

My husband and I go to Slatters 50/50 every Wednesday for trivia night. We enjoy the food, fun trivia questions and challenges, and excellent staff. We always sit in King's section. He is an awesome server with a great personality. He definitely makes each experience better. Also of note is the excellent selection of beers. In my opinion, best selection in Vegas.

Can't wait to go back

By MO8ball |

Ate here because relatively close to friend's apartment. Loved my 50/50 burger with sweet potato fries. Would like to go back and try some of the other menu offerings. Not a beer drinker but lots of beer choices.

Beer & Bacon

By robbiefitz |

I've been to Slater's before in California and they always have a fantastic beer list and great burgers so we decided to check out the Las Vegas location a few days after it opened. They definitely rushed the opening as they had some temporary permits from the city that were framed and sitting on the bar.. guess they didn't have time to hang them yet? I was disappointed with the selection of beers on draft and I thought they would procure some special kegs from California breweries that we don't normally get in Las Vegas but it featured a lot of local beers (which isn't a bad thing) and the rest of them I could probably find at a PT's Pub. We had the fried pickles and a few beers, the bartender seemed confused and lost. The beers were cold and the pickles hot, crispy and delicious. I will return in a few months when they are ready to open.. seems like they rushed it the first time around.

They have truffle cheese, dontcha know? (4 out of 5)

By NeoWasHere |

We were originally going to eat at the other Slater's location on W Lake Mead Blvd on a different night, but plans sometimes change. Instead, we found ourselves in the area on a Friday and decided to drop in for a meal in the 3PM hour because that's exactly when people eat. The good news for us was the restaurant has Happy Hour M-F 3-6PM so I got $2 off beer. Did someone say beer? I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they had 2x4DIPA from Melvin Brewing on the draft beer menu. If this beer is available wherever you are, you get it. It is the best the great state of Wyoming has to offer. This otherworldly beer was pure pleasure to drink. A pint of it was only $6 during HH. Another pleasure was devouring the mouth watering Nashville Screamin' Hot Chicken Sandwich ($17.99) which came served with a a fried whole jalapeno on top of the sandwich with a steak knife inserted to keep it intact and provide a visual appeal. This was an excellent hot chicken sandwich. It was spicy hot and went very nicely with the Imperial IPA beer. As an added bonus, I wisely selected the Tater Tots with a side of Green Chili Queso ($4) as my side. Even the cup of green chili queso had a sliced jalapeno in it. Everything was amazing food and drink wise. The service was a tad on the slow side as it seemed like a forever wait from the time we were shown to a table until our order was taken. It looked like they only had two employees handling the entire dining room on a Friday (shakes head). They should hire and/or schedule additional employees to work on shift in the future. I know at least this customer would be appreciative. Even so, the food is a winner and I'd come back again to try a 24K Burger the next time I'm in Vegas.

Good food, outstanding beers and service

By road_tested2011 |

Good food, great service, outstanding beer selection. Our server, King, was awesome! We come every week for Trivia on Wednesday and always treated great. It's a comfortable and friendly local hangout with upscale pub fare and an outstanding drink menu. Cool sports pub vibe.

Killer 50/50 Burger

By Robin C |

We discovered 50/50 by accident and I'm glad we did. Their burgers are amazing, I had the 50/50 original, and my wife had the best damn bacon burger. I have never had better anywhere. They have a large selection of beers. The place is very clean and the wait staff was excellent.

Great Server

Ethan was phenomenal! Thank you for such great service! We will be back next month for the $1 craft beers!

Another good choice for all you Burger lovers...

By Michael U |

While it seems unlikely anyone has said “Las Vegas sure could use another Burger joint” with a straight face lately the fact remains that locals and tourists love a good Patty between Bread and in late July 2018 Slater’s 50/50 brought their brand from Southern California to Sin City in a sizable shopping complex at 467 East Silverado Ranch Boulevard. Originally opened by Scott Slater in Anaheim Hills around June 2009 and slowly expanding since, a sizable Beer list and Scott’s famous blend of 50% Ground Bacon and 50% Ground Beef earning numerous accolades and countless fans along the way, guests entering Slater’s newest location are immediately greeted by smiling faces at a hostess podium before being led to seats, a collection of banquets, tables and high-tops spreading right-to-left from the Bar and surrounded by TVs. Playing on the subtitle “Bacon. Burgers. Beer.” across the menu, a several page pictorial homage to Meat with an occasional Salad thrown in for good measure, it was with Iced Tea and Water poured that items were perused and decisions made, the extensive Beer list saved for those who might appreciate it – in particular the sort who might benefit greatly from a $30 subscription allowing them one Beer every day of the week for a full month. Focused on guest experience even in its franchising phase, locations in Texas and Hawaii the first outside of California with Nevada next, it was with drinks always kept brimming that a polite young server offered suggestions before the table came to a consensus, the only major issue of the evening largely beyond his control and related to the manager’s irrational decision to leave one whole section closed while several tables were exposed to 85ᵒF temperatures thanks to sunlight pouring through a window still awaiting its custom shade. Eventually forced to demand a change of seats, the “closed” section immediately half-full and all affected much happier, it was just moments later that an Appetizer entitled “Pork-a-Palooza” arrived, the five item spread highlighted by sweet and salty Kettle Corn riddled with crumbled Bacon as well as Pork Belly sliced thin and topped with sticky Jalapeno Jam. Equally enjoying gooey Macaroni and Cheese flecked with Bacon before a trip to the deep-fryer, an unexpected lightness speaking to fresh and hot Oil that also gives Slater’s Fries a far better texture than the average Burger spot whether one chooses Idaho spuds or the sweeter orange version, it was here that focus turned to three Burgers, all with the 50/50 Patty subbed at no additional cost and first bites of the “Best Damn Bacon Cheeseburger” showing excellent juiciness throughout a fine grind that tastes largely like Beef but with a bit more salinity. Taking no shortcuts even with Sauces, everything from Bacon-spiked Ketchup and Tapatio Ranch to Pumpkin Puree and Peanut Butter made in-house, it was after a few bites of the fork & knife Bacon Chili Crunch Burger given texture by Potato Chips and Red Onions that things got a little weird, the “P.B. & Jellousy” exactly what it sounds like but better as the thick Bacon and a Patty cooked Medium play well off PB&J with an extra $1.50 allowing guests to go one step further in terms of combining some of America’s favorite things. Busy even on a Thursday night with kids back in school, the average check and portion sizes a bit larger than nearby competitors reflected by a more mature clientele, that fact certainly did not stop many tables from indulging in one of Slater’s five Milkshakes, the “Happy Happy Birthday Shake” enough to make anyone feel like a child at heart when it arrives super sweet and ablaze with Sprinklers while “The King” and “Ultimate S’more” concoctions are each a little more balanced in terms of flavor, though at a place so big on Bacon the obvious choice is Elvis’ favorite blended to a velvety texture with a Bruleed Banana on top and Peanut Butter all around. FOUR STARS: Although one might think the Valley’s market for Burgers is saturated Slater’s 50/50 offers something unique by way of not only its famous Patty but also an experience that feels more Sports Bar or even “sit-down” Restaurant than Fast Food, and were it not for the seating issues that went without apology thus forcing diners to stand up and move themselves the diverse menu would be well worth re-visiting sooner rather than later.

Sweet potato fries and pumpkin dip ... oh my!

By Randi B |

We visited my daughter in California (1700 miles away) and wanted to try something new so we went to Slaters 50/50. The sloppy Joe sliders were amazing but those sweet potatoes fries and pumpkin dipping sauce must have come from heaven. We enjoyed them so much that before leaving town the next day we called in a carryout order for 2 more with extra pumpkin sauce. Is it possible to have that dipping sauce shipped?

This Location is a Disaster

By moviegal226 |

Slater's 50/50 is one of my favorite burger restaurants in the world, and I frequent several of the locations in Southern California. The new Las Vegas branch is an absolute disaster. It's located close to my house but I won't be returning for many months. Here's hoping they get the kinks worked out soon. Everything about the space feels cheap. It's in a rundown shopping center in a not so great part of town. The location alone will likely prove to be the restaurant's downfall. The concrete floors look like they ran out of money and couldn't finish them (they're stained in the restrooms but not in the main dining area, for instance). The tables are ugly and cheap and look like something out of a small town diner. For a sports bar atmosphere, the televisions are plentiful but they are so tiny that I'd never want to come here to watch a game -- I'm not a fan of squinting. They're also stingy with napkins. The menu is extremely limited, and they don't even have Slater's signature "Create Your Own" burger menu. We asked twice and the answer we got was "we don't want to overwhelm the kitchen but we will have them soon." Not a good sign. The prices are still just as high as the other locations; expect to pay $15 - $20 for a burger with a small side of fries. We ordered our favorite menu item, the crispy brussels sprouts. The presentation was sloppy and careless, and the sprouts weren't crispy. Neither was the bacon. They were grossly oversauced; so much so that even my sauce-loving hubby commented that even he thought there was just too much slopped on top. Since we couldn't create our own burgers, we both settled for the BBQ burger. These burgers were absolutely disasters. First, the server didn't even ask us how we wanted our meat prepared (guess well done is their only option?). Second, our meals were loaded with way too much sauce, to the point where I had to get up and take napkins off the adjacent table to try to wipe away the BBQ sauce on top. It was DROWNING in a sickly sweet sauce. The bacon on the burger was absolutely disgusting. It was limp and undercooked, and had a fake smoky flavor. The side of sweet potato fries were delicious, but it's hard not to make great fries. The service was abysmal too. It was friendly enough but hardly welcoming, and they were very slow all around. I hate to write this review but this Slater's is not good. Why bother expanding into Nevada if you're going to do such a bad job as this? You guys need to do better.

Always our trip go to place!

Sorry but I really didn’t think this was anything special. Burger was just a burger. Mine was dry and lacked a decent taste.

All Show and No Go IG Moments

By Mark and Chuck's Adventures |

We’re in Vegas over Christmas and have been following Slater’s 50/50 after seeing them on Netflix. We’ve checked out much of the I.G., YouTube, and here on Yelp! We had no trouble making a reservation on their website, got a confirmation text, and were actually able to reach out again through the text earlier this afternoon to change it from 6 PM to 7 PM. We arrived a bit before 7 PM, waited for the hostess to seat the couple ahead of us and speak to her. We told her about the reservation. She asked us if we preferred to sit at the bar and seemed a little put out when we responded that we’d like a table. She cleared the table and seated us a few minutes later. Our server, Tarek, approached the table a few minutes later. My husband was still looking over the long list of draft beers – they have over 50. So, Tarek offered to bring some water while he decided. When he returned for drinks, we opted for a Blue Moon ($7.00) and an Iced Tea ($3.50). When the server returned, we were ready to order both our appetizer and burgers. We started with the Bacon, Mac, and Cheese Balls. We wish we could tell you how they were or post a picture. But, unfortunately, our Burgers both arrived with a food runner who had a completely blank stare when we said we hadn’t received our appetizer. We chose to keep the Burgers and cancel the app. My husband had the Single Lone Star Smoke Burger ($14.99) with the Sweet Potato Fries – Hard Pass on the Pumpkin Sauce. The Burger is Black Canyon Angus Beef topped with Smoked Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Crispy Onion Rings, Pickles, smoky Barbecue Sauce, and Garlic Aioli on a Brioche Bun. His Burger was cooked medium as the server described but very dry. The Bacon was crisp, the BBQ Sauce had a lot of flavor, and the Pickles and Onion Rings were delicious. However, the Brioche Bun was really on the dry side. I ordered the Single P.B. & Jellousy ($13.99). The Burger is 1/3 pound of Black Canyon Angus Beef, thick-cut Bacon, natural Peanut Butter, and Strawberry Jelly on a Honey Wheat Bun. I saw this featured on several media events and was super excited to try something new. Unfortunately, it was a mess! The Medium Burger was easily Medium Well. The Bun was dry and crumbling like it was old and stale, the Bacon was undercooked, and the Jelly never hit the Burger. It was all over one side of the Bun and in a puddle on the plate. The first half of the Burger had ZERO Jelly on it…the Jelly helped add moisture to the second half, dipping the sandwich into it. Truly a disappointing experience. Never apologize or comment on the appetizer. The food was pricy and mediocre at best. All show and no go – sad to say it is best for an I.G. moment.

Not Your Usual Burger Joint - Don't Miss the Gourmet Food and Extensive Bar

By Chuck and Eliz... S |

We are locals here. We eat out every single day. We recognize that the restaurant business is a difficult and tricky business to achieve success in. We eat in divey out of the way places and in high end restaurants (think Hank's in GVR). It is with this in mind we write reviews. Executive Summary: There are many "burger places" in the valley. They all claim to be wonderful and most are. But not all are EXCEPTIONAL, which Slater's 50/50 is. Don't miss eating at Slater's 50/50. It is excellent. It is not just another "hamburger joint" - this is quality food, excellent selection, superb preparation, outstanding seasoning and amazing service (ask for Kat who is remarkably attentive, experienced without being obtrusive!) This was our first time in (The Boss has eaten at another location before but I have not.). I was expecting "In and Out Burger, 5 Guys, Smash Burger, Fat Burger, Habitat blah blah blah" Not even in the same competitive market. None of the aforementioned burger joints can remotely compete with Slater's 50/50. This place is a very comfortable environment, high end quality menu with quality preparation and service. I ordered the "Best Damn Bacon Cheeseburger" and it was. The Boss ordered the "Rosemary Turkey Burger" and it was moist and delicious, unlike most turkey burgers. We also ordered the Parmesan garlic fries which were absolutely perfect, delicious, wonderful. Additionally we got the sweet potato fries that came with a delicious pumpkin dipping sauce. Really, I was shocked at how terrific our lunch was. An extensive beer menu is available, including flights for sampling. Each month there is a beer of the month and there is, without a doubt, a quality beer for every beer taste. In addition they have a remarkable drinks menu that includes a "Maple-Bacon Old Fashion", "Hickory Smoked Bacon Bloody Mary", and a "Spicy Pineapple Margarita" among other delicious concoctions and potions! Our server Kat was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and a general delight. She offered great advice, was always available without being overbearing. She exemplifies what being a good server is and is really a credit to Slater's. Manager Cindy came by to check on us and we appreciated her interest. We gave her the same feed back you see printed here. I'm old, cantankerous and cranky and I expect excellence. I'm vocal and I like to complain. Having said that, we commend Slater's 50/50 to you without reservation (and our server Kat who made the visit very pleasant). We'd be happy to answer any question you may have if you simply send us a Yelp message.

Love locals night!

Amazing night for Locals at the 1st of every month & happy hour food is wonderful!! Sat in Bar area & Bartenders were great!! Especially Elbert...Can't wait to go back!

Love beers and bacon?

By BrendanS |

Then this is the place for you! 50 different beers on tap. Slater’s worships bacon.. bacon ketch, bacon salt, burgers made 50/50 meat and bacon... delicious! Lisa from New York was really kind. Next time I’m in Vegas, I’m coming back!

Good at the end.

By Sheila D |

Karen was amazing. Great service. We were the last table and she still payed attention the whole time. The pasta actually surprised me at the burger joint. Thanks for doing a great job at the end of the night. We really appreciate your attention to detail.

Serious Burgers

By mama_kenyon |

We had to try the classics - Farmhouse Party and 24K. These burgers are legit - both loaded with scrumptious toppings like gold dusted bacon, truffle cheese, and even a breaded chicken patty (Farmhouse). Highly, highly recommend!

Good food, good atmosphere,

By sscott87 |

Good food, good atmosphere, good variety. Burgers are plenty large, and they’re serious about their bacon. Wife and I went for a late lunch, choosing to split a bbq bacon burger and fries. It was quite nice that they even served the burger and fries split between two plates for us. The onion rings were large, only outmatched by the two massive slices of bacon. Burger was juicy and very well dressed.

Excellent all around!

By Debbi T |

The Food and service were top notch! Food was hot, delicious and our server was patient and friendly! So happy we went! Our cousin had the peanut butter and jelly burger and loved it! The rest of our meals were so good! Loved the sweet potato fries with the pumpkin dipping sauce!

Amazing Beer Selection, and Bacon!

By Gerald B |

This location is so much closers for us, living in North Las Vegas. We walked in and were able to immediately sit at the bar. Justin, our bartender, promptly greeted us and served us some ice water to cool us down. I was impressed by their beer selection. 50 taps, mostly craft! We tried several of them and they were all delicious. The menu was pretty straight-forward but everything sounded fantastic. My wife was eager to try the Vampire Dip, so we started with that. Talk about amazing! A delicious vat of cheesy goodness in a hearty sourdough bread bowl! Afterward indulging in more of their 50 beer taps we decided on the B'B'B' Burger, because you can't come here and not get something with bacon! It was well crafted and to the point. The meat was cooked to order and the bacon was a nice balance of tenderness and crisp. It wasn't greasy or messy, just delicious. Between sharing the appetizer and the eating the burger, I was quite content. The staff was very attentive and professional. Justin and Nick took fantastic care of us never leaving us wanting. They quickly attended to a guest that had an issue and were able to resolve it with minimal distraction for the guests. They engaged in conversation with us (all the while attending to their duties and the other guests) and really created a casual and friendly bond with us. We talked as though we had been there a dozen times. They truly made us feel welcome. At no point were we rushed or felt like a burden, even as they approached closing time. At one point we were talking about their menu and suggested a beer/ice bream float. Moments later Justin comes out with small glass of what looked like just that. It was quite the concoction and we suggested they add it to the menu! Overall, the food here is delicious, the beer selection is vast, and the staff makes you feel like you're part of the family.

Great experience

Our sever Karen was super friendly and food was flavorful. Got the Bacon Chili Burger and it was delicious! I think I'll try the jalapeno burger next time

Best Burger Restaurant in Las Vegas

By Haris L |

If you’re ever in Las Vegas make sure that you pass by Slater’s 50/50 on Silverado Ranch with your family. We were pleasantly impressed by the unique Gore Menu and wonderful decor. I really like the place because it was cozy and had a relaxed atmosphere. I ordered the Best Damn Bacon Cheeseburger and I frankly got what I ordered. The 50/50 patty consisting of meat and bacon was delightful, having the bacon jam topped off the sweet and savory experience. My partner decided to try the PB and Jellousy Burger – this raised suspicion in my mind but it really worked as a surprising combination. Who would think that peanut-butter, jelly, and a burger would go well together? I am simply blown away by their beer selection since they have a total of 50 craft beers on fine tap! Our waiter was quite good and really took us through the entire beer search process. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the items. For those who like it spicy, for those who encourage the consumption of delicious burgers, bacon, this is the place for you. We will be back to try out more of their items (and maybe grab together another couple of milkshakes).

Delicious Lunch

By beetrvln |

Stopped into Slater's 50/50 for a quick lunch. We have them close to us, but it has been quite a few year's since we have been. Service was quick, the hostess was really friendly. The restaurant was empty, with only one other table of guests. Yet our server was not friendly, and seemed to be in a rush. Regardless, the food was very good. I love that they offer an impossible burger on many of the burgers, this must be new as it was not this way before. The different components on the burger paired perfectly, so each bite was flavor filled. We will definitely go to one close to home.

Definitely a Winner for a Neighborhood-Casual Joint

By Chaptak |

With multiple friends bragging/salivating over Slater's 50/50, we just had to try it. We (a couple with a toddler) visited on a Sunday around noon. Here is a summary of our observations: 1. NFL Football was on every TV, but the volume was low enough that it did not overwhelm. It felt like a great place for those couples (or groups of friends) who are split on the purpose of the visit: some want to watch a game or two, but some don't care. (If everybody in your party is into sports, then you probably will do better elsewhere: the TVs are up high around the perimeter of the dining room, and the screen sizes are at the lower end of the range of what's expected these days.) 2. Beer, Beer, Beer. Everywhere. There was a display of taps by the entrance, and the walls were populated with chalkboards listing multiple options of brews available for our enjoyment. What I found most pleasing about the beer was its price. While the burgers (and most of the menu) were closer to premium pricing, the beer didn't break the bank. 3. Food. This will sound sacrilegious, but neither my wife nor I cared much for the Original 50/50. To me, it tasted bitter -- weird, right? But that was not a deal-breaker. We had a great meal nonetheless. I absolutely loved the 50/50 Sloppy Joe Sliders, and my wife ended up getting a second order of the Bacon Mac and Cheese Balls (those come with great dipping sauces, which get an honorable mention). 4. Service. Our server was on point, on time, and with just the right sense of humor. Five stars.

Great service and place!

Bacon and Brew

By Howard M |

Healthy options? I think there may be some - but why bother. This is a place to INDULGE - there’s bacon, did I mention Bacon? And then there’s bacon. Bacon ketchup, bacon salt, bacon on the burger and of course the meat is half BACON. I could feel my arteries hardening as I read the menu. But when you want BACON on your burger (and maybe a brew of two) this is the place! Did I mention BACON? I had the Sriracha Burger - two of my favorite things Sriracha and bacon (oh yeah - there was a bun too). In any other place the brioche bun would be the star - here it has to play second fiddle to (wait for it) BACON. I want to try some other things on the menu - but I need to wait until my blood test settles down. Loved it! And Lisa is a great server!

Amazing Whale Burger

By Josesing |

Best burger I've ever tasted. We visited Las Vegas, and a mandatory stop was Slater's 50/50. We had to try The Whale Burger. The lobster, the wagyu beef, even the truffle cheese is an explosion of flavors in your mouth that leave you speechless. In summary, The Whale Burger worth every penny....

Breakfast ends early, but food and service remain good.

By Michael U |

Originally opened by Scott Slater in Anaheim Hills in 2009, and now occupying 467 East Silverado Ranch Boulevard since July, it was in search of someplace showing the NCAA Tournament that Slater’s 50/50 was visited on Sunday, a “Wake N’ Bacon” Breakfast beginning at 9:00am on Weekends strangely ending at 11:00am but owner Andy graciously agreeing to prepare a couple items thirty minutes late in addition to some of the Lunch & Dinner choices. Famous for their blend of 50% Beef / 50% Bacon, and now inhabiting three States including their lone Las Vegas franchise, it is between walls of taps that guests enter suite 100 of the Southeast commercial center, a hostess podium straight ahead offering seating at a banquette with full view of at least a dozen televisions plus the bustling kitchen. Showing sports with the sound off, pop radio overhead loud enough to be heard but not disrupt, it was with greetings from an inked female sever who stated Breakfast ends “at 10:30” that Water was poured and menus distributed, her apologies noteworthy as she tried to make the situation better by offering alternatives including some specials. Disappointed but not dissuaded, miscommunications overcome while Appetizers were being prepared, it was beginning with a stack of Onion Rings and Slater’s Bacon-imbued Fried Macaroni and Cheese that light Batter proved noteworthy, a follow-up of Ground Beef and Bacon with Potato Chips added for crunch also enjoyable and certainly better than the average family’s “Sloppy Joe night.” Convinced to try the Vampire Dip by two regulars, fears of late-day reflux unfounded as the roasted Heads are nicely tempered by a Cheese blend and pureed Artichokes, it was finishing off all but a quarter of the Bread Bowl that The Slater’s 50/50 Hot Dog arrived, the eponymous ingredient here packaged thick and snappy with a Sonora-style wrap plus plenty of Condiments so that diners may dress it as they like. More impressed by Slater’s Fries this time, both classic Spuds and those made from hand-cut Sweet Potatoes crisp and well salted, it was at the request of a friend that Slater’s $24 “24K Burger” arrived spotlight-ready, a dusting of edible Gold making for fun pictures while the Sandwich itself shines thanks to finely-ground Australian Wagyu that stands up well to truffled Cheese and Bacon while the buttered Brioche Bun maintains its structure admirably in the face of Aioli and Demi-glace. Waiting a bit longer for Breakfast items, made-to-order Hollandaise with more smoke than heat largely responsible, it was likely an effect of time that saw “crispy” Pork Belly a little flaccid atop Buttermilk Biscuits, though Tots in a tangle of Onions and golden-fried Chicken with Two Pancakes, Country Gravy and plenty of Bacon proved well-worth getting up early on a Sunday for. FOUR STARS: Although Slater’s 50/50 seems to be missing out on an opportunity to differentiate itself from local competition by cutting Breakfast so short, a decision ownership claims is due to an overwhelming demand for Burgers by 11:00am, both Food and environment remain enjoyable while service and expediting have both improved since opening.

The Best!!

By Robert R |

The Wagyu Burger is the best Hands Down!! The pumpkin pie shake topped it off. Always great service and food. My Wife and I Love this place and will eat here every Vegas trip!

worth every bite.

By John F |

This place is delicious, wow the selection of burgers and drinks is incredible for a chain restaurant. They have remarkably interesting combinations of burgers but each one we tried was worth its weight in protein. Wow! Tried an odd pick the 24K Burger! Wow you have never had a burger till you try a 24K Burger, worth every bite.

Bacon nirvana

By homezoomom13 |

If you enjoy bacon you must visit Slater’s 50/50. Bacon Mac Balls appetizer, Bacon flight with pork belly and mini shanks, burgers with half beef/half bacon...and on every table: Bacon Salt! I went so far as to have the Hawaiian 50/50 with Spam on top and King Hawaiian rolls as the bun. Beer list on tap is extensive but I had Pineapple Cider. And for the bucket list they have a 24K Wagu Burger dusted in Gold. We enjoyed dinner here and will definitely be back next time we are in Vegas.

Opulent

By Nathan C |

I needed to experience the whale burger. If you said that I came all the way from Canada for the experience, you would only be exaggerating slightly. Read on... In 2012 the interwebz was enamored with the clever uses of YouTube one could market with. The Gregory brothers were ripping up the viral scene while one Daym Drops had his channel. When the two collaborated, Oh My Goodness, no crispity crunch (look at the bacon) could wrap their schoolbooks with a ghetto grocery bag! I bought the t-shirt and made it my ringtone. No cap. Years go by and brother man made the big leagues and was offered a Netflix show. I saw Daym visit Slater's 50/50 and made a mental note to get me some whale burger if I ever go to Vegas. Well my work booked me a week-long conference and I had to oblige. I made the trip out to the Lake Mead location and scanned my QR code. I stuffed my face and it was no joke. There are 5 guys wishing they came up with this recipe. The textures are nicely balanced and nothing about the flavors offends. It is just another level of gourmet decadence applied to the medium of burger. I am sorry to admit that I could not finish it, but I will say that it was worth the effort (though perhaps not the price). The burger gets cold because it is so huge and takes a while to eat and it is guaranteed to fall apart on you. As with many things it's better hot FWIW but I was quite pleased to cross it off my bucket list.

Amazing burgers with Awesome servicee.

Alyssa was our awesome waitress and she was very attentive. The burgers were amazing. Definitely looking forward to returning for another meal.

Vegas Burger Feast

This place has incredible burgers with endless options. Service was great as well. Definitely one of the best burgers in Vegas!!!

Great food and service but probably not the best burgers in the state

By SBVegasAdventures |

Rated best burgers in Nevada by many. I will say that they are good and certainly one of the most creative but as for being the best, that’s debatable. Food is good but I've have had equally good burgers at many other establishments. Their specialty is bacon, specifically a 50/50 mix of beef and bacon in their burgers. You can get bacon on just about anything and they even have bacon salt. This is great for bacon lovers but true beef lovers won't be as impressed. Add a strip or two for flavor and the burger would be fine without overdoing it. Still, the burger was pretty good but I've never been a fan of Brioche Buns, just takes away so much from a good burger. For those not into burgers, they have plenty of their menu items as well including a spinach and artichoke "Vampire” dip which I really enjoyed but a bit less salt would have really brought out the flavor even more. Still, the sourdough they used for the bowl was top notch and perfectly toasted. I would have thought they flew it in from San Francisco that day it was so fresh. Service was good and they have TVs all over the place, it is kind of a sports/beer bar after all. Prices are a bit steeper than many burger establishments but we left stuffed and I enjoyed the meal. I can’t say I would go that far out of my way just to eat there again. If you haven’t tried it, you should but if you want the best burger in Nevada, it might not be here depending on your tastes.

By Delphine E |

Gotta try the vampire dip or sweet potatoes with pumpkin sauce! Karen was our server. Super friendly & excellent customer service!

Good Service but...

By Jeannie |

I had never been to Slater 50/50, was able to go for lunch on Sat. Set at the bar because that is where me & mine like to sit. Bartender was very friendly & efficient. Gave us suggestions. My husband decided on a hamburger with fries & I went for the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with onion rings. I hate to say it but everything we got was so greasy that we did not finish . Fries tasted like they had either been cooked in old oil or had been sitting back there in the kitchen since opening that day. Prices were on the higher side, but with that being said, I would go back regardless of price if the food had been good. Atmosphere & bartender made it a place that I really wanted to like. When asked if they have any kind of happy hour, we were told very strongly NO.

Pretty Good

By doomie1965 |

Ate here with workmates. Burgers were good, high quality, a little pricey but nothing spectacular. Good beer selection and hip vibe. Sweet potato fries and pumpkin sauce are a trip.

Relaxed spot with good burgers.

Relaxed spot with good burgers. Service was a little slow especially for sitting at the bar. Crispy Brussels sprouts appetizer were good.

Loved my High-brow Burger

By Wanderin_Mike |

Loved my High-brow Burger with onion rings. Fine beer selection. On a Wednesday night our party of seven was seated immediately. Planning to go back!

Not worth the hype.

By Fred G |

Highly overrated. Burgers were mediocre. Brioche rolls were old and fell apart, tasteless. Did not taste the bacon blend. Too much aoli, messy. Not crowded yet no soft drink refills offered. Overpriced. Not worth all the hype.

Superbowl Party was great!

BBBBBBBacon!!

By LFisher1717 |

We were back in Vegas visiting family and friends and came across Slaters when we were looking for a casual spot to grab a bite to eat close to the house...and, it was awesome!! Obviously, a large part of the menu revolves around bacon...from the appetizers to the burgers, each that can be made with a 50-50 mix of black angus beef and, you guessed it, bacon! Hence the name. However, there’s more to the menu than burgers and bacon. They also have flatbreads, salads, chicken and a number of other dishes where bacon isn’t the central focus. Milkshakes...to die for!! Save room for one. Then go run a marathon. Fries? You can have them several ways, but we liked the Pimento cheese fries 👍🏼. There is a full service bar, but the star of the menu is draft beer, heavily weighted toward craft beers, several from local breweries. Don’t recall how many beers they have on tap, but I’ll guess it’s around 50 or so. Kids? No problem. It’s a very family friendly environment. Best of all...we learned they have a place in Dallas!! I know where I’ll be going soon.

Great venue for a group event!

By sharrongeg |

Have been here a few times - always have had great food, great service and great craft beer! Last night about 25 friends and alums gathered here to watch the UCLA / USC football game. Hubby tried the Thanksgiving burger ($17) and there wasn’t a bite left. I love their Southern Fried Chicken Cobb salad ($15) - and it was awesome. Thank you Oliver for the terrific service!

I had been following them

By Bethny N |

I had been following them on Facebook for a while and we made a point to have lunch here as soon as we arrived in Vegas and it did not disappoint! Over the top service from Kat and over the top food! Slater 50/50 will definitely be on our must go to restaurants when we visit Vegas!!! And did I say how amazing our server Kat was? A definite “10+”!!! Thank you for some great food and great service!!!

Went to get the Whale burger and it delivered!

By Andre C |

I saw the Whale burger featured on Netflix and put it on my bucket list. I finally made it to Vegas to get it, and it was everything I hoped for. The hardest decision was how to eat it because it has a lot going on. But the bottle of Moet and the bacon jam set it off!!! I will definitely do it again.

Bacon and More Bacon - Yum!

By isasamoto |

Truly a must stop if you love bacon! Fun atmosphere with all of the TVs and cushy booth/tables. Although we are not drinkers - clearly there are tons of adult beverage choices! Even bacon vodka! We got the bacon wrapped/bacon stuffed hot dog, Pork A Palooza, Rosemary Turkey Burer with bacon, and the 24k Bacon Burger. OH EM GEEE! So all the burgers (and the dog) were extremely moist, juicy and delish. The sauces on the burgers were yummy. The rosemary bacon on the flight of bacon on the Pork a Palooza was my fave (of the 4). The pork belly w/jalapeno jam was excellent as well. Very good service - -they took care of us while we were there! Would go back if we didn't live on the other side of the USA from them. lol You can check out our review on our bacon YouTube channel - Destination Bacon. That episode will air December 5, 2019,

Good burger quality and valye

By anagorski |

New location. Part of four state franchise. Very nice venue. Clean. Plenty of free parking. Great quality TV screens at bar—will be a good sports venue. Very good quality hamburgers. Great Bloody Mary with bacon. Awesome service particularly Melissa the bartender. Sides read better than they tasted owed to heavy batter.
