Not the pizza of your dreams but definitely one of the nice pizza places in downtown. Walk able distance from all major attractions in downtown and from corporate office areas. You can have a small office gathering here for lunch. You also get alcoholic drinks. try it out when you have mood for some pizza.

My wife and me traveled to Atlanta for the Sebastian Maniscalco show and despite the storm and low temperatures, we ventured outside to try and grab a bite hours before the show. The place was somewhat empty but is understandable due to the weather conditions not cooperating, we were greeted at the door by the manager who was very amicable and were seated promptly. The place looks well maintained and the atmosphere was dimmed and comfortable. The composition of the menu is wide and offers many options keeping the prices reasonable. Me being a burger and beer kind of person, I stepped outside the box this time and order the Margherita pizza(per wife's request) and paired with a tall glass of Peroni. Hands down, the pizza was one of the best ones I've ever tried. Period. From the first bite to the last one. The sauce definitely didn't come from a can, it tasted homemade along with the fresh ingredients that made it so enjoyable that we had to take another large pie back to the hotel. Wife took a Greek salad along also and was, according to her, very good as well. We enjoy take some time off for quick weekend trips(No kids, of course), wander and try our luck with new places and this one became without any doubt, a place where we will stop again. You should too.

Great lunch! Salads were fresh and well sized! Ordered the pizza with chicken and pesto. Was fantastic! Nice little elegant hidden gem downtown!

Casual setting with swift and friendly service. The some very good salad followed by a pasta dish, which was very tasty, too. Would go back anytime.

I highly recommend this Atlanta pizza joint, mush better than the national chains for just a little more

Been there with a couple of friends and we were very happy with the environment, staff, location and delicious tasty juicy pizza we ate. As a matter of fact, I ate more than i should have and DO NOT regret.

ate at slice a couple of nights while in Atlanta for work. Friendly accommodating staff and good food at reasonable rates - good value for money. 12 of us ate there one night (outside on the quiet street) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals

Ate here twice during Walker Stalker Con. Pizza $2.50 a slice and very good. Tables outside. No parking. Cool vibe. Second time we ate service was slow but we rushed them along...

Fun hangout spot. Go for the Artwalk on certain friday nights. Great music and urban vibe.

We visited Slice on Valentine's Day weekend. Atmosphere was very comfortable. No overly loud music (unlike most other ATL locales). Presented my Groupon the basically the nicest, friendliest, and most sociable waitress we have ever had. I had a slice with spinach, feta, and sd tomatoes. Hubby had 2 slices with pepperoni and sausage. We also ordered the breadsticks. The breadsticks were delicious...they had some sort of spicy flavoring that made them unique. And my slice was literally the best pizza I have ever eaten....and I've had plenty of NY pizza slices. Hubby felt the same about his. Slices are HUGE, so keep that in mind when ordering.

We discovered this place by accident, absolutely the best pizza in the area and the best staff! what a great find!!

Great pizza and beer. Pizzas are huge and delicious. Decent beer selection. Lots of other choices if not in the mood for pizza. Quaint little restaurant, off the beaten path but well worth finding.

One of the best spinach salads I have ever had. And I could drown myself in the honey mustard dressing. It is hands down the best honey mustard I've ever had (made in-house, I'm told)! The pizza is delish, and I can't wait to try some of the other menu items because they all look amazing. The vibe is super down-to-earth and the service is impeccable! Our waiter was incredible - super friendly, knowledgable and just fun. And the owner (or manager) couldn't be nicer. I highly recommend this gem!

In town for work and wanted to see what Atlanta had to offer for pizza. The breadsticks alone would bring me back to this place - so good!! We ordered a pizza and it was better than anything from back home. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. The place was packed!

Not sure I agree with other reviewers on this restaurant. Food was not awful, but also nothing special. Service a little slow due to a party of about 12-15. Prices fair for the meal received.

The attendant was very kind, the sandwich I ate it was good and in the end when I paid, I was surprized that I received more change than it was due, I told them there was a mistake and they said that they round the change up always and that the change was correct, I was even more satisfied with the place with these little surprise!

Delicious pizza, great service, cool location near everything in the downtown district. Great place to hang while waiting for rush hour to clear.

Rustic surrondings but friendly service and great pizza. VAriety of toppings makes ordering a treat.

very good pizza

Great service and amazing food. Sells local brews and allows smoking indoors. Chill atmosphere with cool wait staff.

If you are in town in the State Farm Arena area looking for decent pizza in walking distance and away from crowds, it's worth a try. Decent pizza and good staff.

This a sort of hipstery pizza place (fancier-than-usual pies). We went for a quick dinner and it was quiet and the service was good.

very good gourmet pizza in a trendy setting. Nice place and we enjoyed that day very much, should have to go next time.

We saw the sign on the door with an age limit, so we were turning away when the owner(?) came and grabbed us to come in with our two little boys. It was amazing that there weren't more people there with all that was going on down town - Dragon Con and I think there was a ball game also. We were quickly seated and the food was there fairly quick also. The spinach salad was chock full of nice bacon pieces, not bits, and manageable chopped egg, swimming in a balsamic dressing. I got a nibble of the Ceasar salad that was also good. The kids plowed through the pizza, which the staff thoughtfully cut into small pieces for them. My stromboli was huge and there was plenty to share. Also got a taste of the vegetable lasagne, with appeared to be freshly prepared. Very nice to find this place amidst the madness of Dragon Con!

The lasagne was really good and the prices are great. I would have given it 5 Stars had it not been for the smoking indoors. I didn't know about that until I got there otherwise I probably wouldn't have gone.

Pretty good pizza - good location. Nice set up, but pizza wasn't the best ever. lots of beer choices.

I recently went there around 10 pm, half an hour before their kitchen closed. I was looking for a late night bite after a conference. Slice Downtown is tucked away on a side street, so it's probably not frequented much by tourists or out-of-town people. There were only a few people there at the time. There is nice outdoor seating though given the late hour and the warm night, I decided to sit indoors. The environment inside is informal with a few TV screens over the bar, and the music at that hour was maybe just a bit loud but bearable. Another thing, smoking indoors is apparently permitted in Atlanta, or at least in this restaurant, and I saw a few patrons smoking at the bar. I was far enough that it didn't bother me, but if that's a major issue then you want to sit outside (or skip this place altogether). The waiter was courteous. I ordered a 12" Margherita pizza and a glass of Shiraz wine. The pizza arrived in about ten minutes. It was good, though not exceptional. I thought the mozzarella was a tad undercooked, though it is just be a personal preference. Of course, I wasn't able to finish the pizza so waiter brought me a box. The prices seemed to be slightly on the higher side, especially for the pizza, but not outrageously so. All in all, I had a great experience and would go there again!

Excellent food and staff. Very friendly and attentive. I had the vegetable lasagna. The sauce was perfectly balanced for the dish. The owner stopped by our table 3-4 times and was interacting with customers and staff on the floor the entire time we were there. The place was packed on a Monday night and no wonder why.

Every Monday through Friday, from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., customers can get a giant one-topping slice and their choice of a side or caesar salad for $5.50 plus tax. Near our hotel, walking distance. Good pizza for the price.

very good gourmet pizza in a trendy setting.

I go to Slice because it sits in the old location of Emile's Cafe which predates most Atlanta residents but if your a native and over 50 it brings back some nostalgic memories. Slice is a Sports Bar Resturant with nice window views and pretty good food. The Bartenders are nice enough and the location is interesting. There appear to be some local Downtown Residents that call it a hangout so there is a certain level of character to the bar. Its small and informal so the comfort level is there along with the local Georgia State student that wanders in. I go every other week so I am getting to be a little too familiar with the beer selection!

Slice is cooling, Parking is difficult but its a good place to go have a drink and a slice. It is a urban ave. Thats what you would call Ghetto faboulus. Instead of socializing like in Hollywood we call it Hollatican. But it is a cool place there are alot of Bars on Peter street, small clubs and even nice restaurants around the area.

another great pizza spot thats about it cool neighborhood

Very reasonable prices for the good food, they had a great service, and they were so nice, and they even seat with us and told us where we can go and what we can see. Had such a good time, and came back to the hotel full and happy :)

The food here is quick and tasty. The prices are reasonable and the establishment is nice and clean. The waitress we had was a lovely girl who was very friendly :)

What a quaint, charming pizza place - they also had salads, sandwiches - the food was amazing. We sat at the outdoor tables, shaded by trees - it's on a quiet side street, so no bustling, noisy traffic. Great wait staff - quick, attentive. Affordable and creative eats. Highly highly recommend!

Hot pipping delish pizza! The meatball appetizer was soooo good! Drinks were served fast and our server was extremely friendly.

What a pleasant surprise to find this little eatery within a block of our hotel. Friendly and fast service. We liked it so much we visited twice over a 2 day visit. First day had roast beef sandwiches that were dressed with sauerkraut and horseradish...superb!! The next night after the LSU/Georgia game we went back and tried their "supreme" pizza, just a delcious. Also very reasonable prices, too!

My mom and I were staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn & Suites. We found this restaurant via the TripAdvisor app and walked over to give it a try. We were able to seat ourselves right away and put in a drink order. I was thrilled that they had 3 hard cider options, and none of them were Angry Orchard! Our food was good and the service was great. The pizza crust was especially delicious! The atmosphere was loud, which isn't really our style, but it's a bar on a Friday night so can't really complain! There was an interesting variety of people here.

The pizza and salad was freshly made with good ingredients and the service was fair. The best part of the entire visit was the networking around the bar while I was there.

Great food & atmosphere! Great local restaurant and causal. Located in the historical area in downtown Atlanta.

Such a great atmosphere !! Awesome and attentive service and wowza.... the food was one of the best pizzas we have had!!! Pitcher of blue moon was only $17.. pizza was around 15 and the calzone .. less than 10.. The food was awesome ... if your looking for low key and wanting a Romantic night with some drinks... definitely the place to go... if we come back.. they will have our business !!

My friends and I walked in to an empty restaurant with one server at the bar. Only two people at the bar, so we sit down and choose what we want. The pizza comes out and tastes good! After finsihed the pizza we patiently wait for our waiter to arrive with the checks. We look around to see she is talking with a group of friends close to the cashier. We give her a few min(us all looking at her to see when she will realize she is at her job) she finally comes over gives us our checks. Again she goes over and talks with her friends for a good 10 min. This being the second time and we were on a schedule, we were very mad and left a bad tip.

great pizza!

The Best pizza i have had since I left NY . Great staff great location. take your time when you go and take in the atmosphere

This isn't the Slice I ate at but they are the same restaurant. I ate at the one down town on Poplar street. Walked to it after a show at the Tabernacle. The live jazz music was a pleasant surprise and very enjoyable. The drinks were reasonably Priced. Ordered the chicken pesto pizza and it was fantastic with fresh spinach and the chicken was so good. I wish I had been more hungry so I could try more items on the menu. I was also able to walk back to my hotel. Has late hours which was great, and for those not into late hours they have a 5.50 slice And salad deal during the day. It's close to world of coke so convient for tourists. Don't bring kids, it's 18 and up, which I loved. Great atmosphere.

Visited here while at a show during the snow storm in January. As the city literally shut down, this was the only place open. We were greeted by the GM, whom promptly helped us in out of the miserable weather. The staff was friendly and the pizza was so amazing we ordered another to go for later at the hotel.

love the atmosphere, and the pizza is pretty good too!

From the time my friends and I arrived, until we left it was wonderful! The food was wonderful! Our waitress was wonderful!!!!! Wonderful experience!! We will be back!!!

Good choice for pizza, stromboli, lasagna, they even a have a good Muffaletta. Service can be hit or miss but the food is dependable.

Cool Pizza Spot: Loud Inside Fri/Sat night.

Slow service, the place is loud and the food tastes like it was frozen, thawed and then heated. It's in a old building with no sound insulation. Very hard to hear.

Now called "Spin" this place was just a couple blocks from our hotel. We were a little out of place. Family of 6 with oldest child being 5 this is more of a bar scene with people smoking hookahs. We decided to get it to go and thoroughly enjoyed the pizza! Quick too!

This place was close to my hotel, so I wandered in one evening. The staff and patrons were friendly, even to a group wearing opposing team's attire the night before an NFL playoff game! I sat at the bar because I was dining alone, but there are tables as well. I ordered the BLT, and it was delicious. As the name implies, this is primarily a pizza place, but I wasn't in the mood for pizza.

This was surprisingly a nice place to hang out in the back streets of Atlanta. It's about 1/2 a mile from the aquarium--so walking distance from pretty cheap parking. We got side salads and I was shocked to see how big and fresh they were (for a dive bar). Like def recommend it. We both got calzones and they were HUGE. We could have shared. All products were fresh and Tastes delicious. I would recommend this place and would definitely go back to it.

This place was recommended to us by a server in another bar/restaurant not far from it. We were unable to find it that particular day and stumbled across it on our last full day in Atlanta - thankfully because we were getting so fed up with the lack of things to do in downtown Atlanta! The first time we dropped in I had the bread with marinara sauce and it was delicious. My boyfriend had a slice of pizza which tasted gorgeous from the one bite I had of it - I had to go back for dinner that evening - got a slice of pizza then and it was equally as nice. Nice wine and beer too! Would recommend this spot for a chilled out bite to eat and a relaxing drink! Not much else worth talking about downtown anyways!

SO good great service great food wonderful atmosphere i will always come back here yummo! Youve had the rest now try the best

Slice in downtown serves great food at a very good price. The service is excellent. One friend had a salad and loved it. I shared a pizza with another friend and it was so so good. Great place in the heart of Atlants.

I went to Slice to avoid driving somewhere. It was walking distance of my hotel. It is kinda small like a pizza bar. The pizza was good for the price. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had, but it was good. I'd definitely return.

Great place to catch a slice and drink

I was a bit surprised at how good the pizza was, but even more delighted that it was a nice normal stop without crazy prices. We popped in for a quick lunch, and we loved how quick the pizza came, how good it was and how inexpensive. Jed was our server and he did an excellent job. We will return.

They held a table for us even tho my group of 15 people was 30 minutes late. It's off the beaten track so it wasn't packed at 830pm. Great service. Full bar. It's down an alley which seemed kinda sketchy but it was a nice place with great pizza and reasonable prices. If our cheer team competes there again next year I will definitely repeat our team dinner there!

It can always be a little nerve wracking trying to pick out a place to eat when you're from out of town, so when I found a Groupon for Slice Downtown I was half excited for the great deal I found and half nervous that since it was on Groupon it might be a disaster. To my surprise this ended up to be a very trendy restaurant that provided not only great pizza but service as well. I was impressed by the overall size of the restaurant to begin with, as in my past experiences pizza places are usually somewhat small and cramped. There were quite a few customers while we were there and only one server (although there were other workers doing various things) but we never had to wait for anything. He was very on top of what everyone needed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others who are looking for a laid back place to grab a Slice.

The gourmet pizza here is AMAZING, the Greek Salad was nice and fresh, everything looked so good. The meatball parmesan sandwich was PERFECT!

Kunita is the best and she got us our food in amazing time during a peak hour, highly recommend!!! Stop by for awesome smells and very nice people who make you feel welcomed and comfortable.

Stumbled on this spot thanks to my DOSH app and was happy to try it out. It was immediately apparent that this the place to be after work. The vibe was casual and cool. Loud with everyone chattering and enjoying their friends. I was in a super hurry and service was fast and friendly. I was DYING to eat my slice but grabbed it to go in a handy pizza box. As I drove, I wondered why it wasn’t perfuming my car and making my belly rumble. Once I got to my destination five minutes later, I found out why. Bless that dry little pitiful meatball pizza slice’s heart. It barely had any sauce or cheese to even create an aroma. The sweet tea, however, was amazing, so all was not lost. I washed each dry bite down with my sweet tea. Despite the slice misstep at a place named SLICE, the place left me with such a positive vibe that I would definitely go back for a second try. Hopefully the next slice will be more tasty.

great food, served fast by friendly staff. We had Margherita pizza, others had various slices. Everyone enjoyed their selection. Crust on pizza was delicious

You could hardly tell a restaurant is there. It is the only public spot on that side of block. They have a good bar business. Drinks are relatively cheap. It is a small place but the food is very good and inexpensive. The service was very good. Other workers helped out out when our waitress was busy with someone else.

Cool decor and vibe. Staff was super friendly. Pizza was ok- crust was salty. Generous toppings. Liked getting to order any type individual slices

The pizza crust was tasty, albeit thin. Although there are a few pizza choices on the menu, don't be afraid to order a custom pie. The $2 fountain drinks are a nice topping, as well.

The best hands down for fun, food, and friends. It's really filling and fresh ingredients are noticed by your taste buds.

Amazing pizza!!! Amazing service. Lindsey rocks!!!! If you come to Atlanta and don't eat here, your loss. This is the place to go!

We are staying at the Candler hotel and wanted a restaurant within close walking distance. This popped up on Google maps and the menu looked good, especially for kids who love chicken and fries. Service was lacking….the server never came back to check on us or ask about our food. Kids got chicken and fries which was fine. Husband got a meat lovers pizza and I got a margarita pizza. My pizza was a joke. It was literally a thin crust covered in red sauce with maybe 3 splotches of mozzarella cheese (and not the good creamy kind) and one piece of basil torn into 6 tiny pieces. Prices were okay, but honestly I’d prefer to pay more to get better food and service.

A small place, nice and quiet. Menu of pizzas, salads and sandwiches. I have the Reuben with Turkey which was very good came with a pickle and bag of chips. Small bar with a limited beers selection. Great place for a quick meal.

This service and food was great!!! Nice atmosphere...The price was right not too expensive....great location...lots to do in the area....

Housed in an old building stripped to the bare brick walls. Very loud when full. Food and service is erratic.

Friends and I came to Atlanta for a fun weekend and we're looking for a great place to ear without spending a lot of money. Luckily we found Slice. The food is great, and the service was excellent. The foccacia bread was delicious and so was the pizza. I will definitely be coming here again.

I met some friends here for dinner. The restaurant was very close to my hotel and that’s why we chose it. The service was very attentive and the recommendations were right on. I would go back again

Went there while I was down town for new years eve it was good that was my first time there workers was excellent very friendly.

Love the pizza in this quirky, cozy, location. The feel is warm and inviting. Love the lasagna, pizza, and salads. Wait staff very friendly and engaging. Very different place in Downtown ATL.

Tucked away, but one of the best places to grab a quick slice. Good beer on tap and a litany of great conversations with whomever you see at the bar. Cheers!

Slice Downtown is hidden on the corner of Fairlie and Poplar Streets. It's next door to Sidebar and as a GSU student I've seen the place a couple of times, but I've never ventured in. I purchased a Groupon and finally made the trip down. We ordered a large pie which was enough for dinner and lunch the next day for my wife and I. The crust was nice and the cheese and sauce were balanced. I was a little disappointed in the amount of toppings for $2.45 each. There just wasn't a lot of pepperoni or mushrooms to go around the large pie. Slice has a cool vibe and a great bar. I would definitely swing back by for the lunch special if I was in the area. Service was great, but the music might have been a touch loud. Overall it was an okay experience and I would go back.

So I happened upon Slice while looking for a pizza joint. I looked at the reviews and went in. The staff was inattentive as they were more worried about their friends in the place than someone new. I order a specialty pizza pie and a beer. There were only 14 people in the place. After ordering the couple next to me both lit cigarettes and then the patron on the other side did the same thing. I believe Georgia past a smoking law in 2006 which prohibited smoking in restaurants and bars along with other public establishments. With that I finished my beer and asked to get my pizza pie in a to go box. Took the pie to the Olympic park and enjoyed it. If you wish to try the pie order it to go as it's very good but the smoking atmosphere with the joint is a total turn off.

We were going to a convention nearby and we love to support local business. And who doesn't love pizza... Rather than give a paragraph and a half of the play by play of the night... the low lights that will prevent us from a return visit... * Bar drinks were $12 bucks - and took about 20 min to get to the table (with a hey we are still waiting on a drink...) * Sodas are $3 bucks and come in a 16 oz bottle. *Slices came on hard cracker over cooked crust skimpy toppings $4-6 bucks per slice *Heads up - if you are a PARTY OF 4 -18% AUTO GRAT IS ADDED TO YOUR BILL - Which on one hand. if service was on par, and attentive. absolutely - but we got there and made the 3rd table that was occupying the place. So, when we asked for it to be removed, we got some push back, but pointed out it wasn't posted anywhere, so he went ahead and removed it. So, what started with the idea of a quick bite, ended up being an hour and a half of mostly waiting around on the server, "Meh food" and a hefty bill.

My husband and I stayed downtown at the Omni Hotel and Slice came up as pizza place close by. We decided to walk which took about 7-8 minutes. It was well worth it! The atmosphere is warm, a neighborhood restaurant, and the owners are very friendly. The food was great! All made with quality ingredients. The pizza crust was thin, which we love and the garlic bites and bruschetta were yummy. We will definitely go back again either this trip or the next time we’re in town.

Whole pizzas at other tables looked great. Ordering by the slice was okay. Looked unappetizing, but tasted fine. Price was affordable for downtown Atlanta.

We ordered garlic bread and a large chicken and mushroom pizza... Both were by far the tastiest we have ever had! The place is very relaxed and the staff were down to earth. All very friendly and helpful! The total cost was more than reasonable!

Massive space, right on the edge of the Georgia State University campus. Great pizza, amazing salads and nightly specials that make it worth going on the reg. Outdoor patio is huge, with both tables and games. Looking forward to the nice weather. Will be down here a lot.

Several friends and I grabbed a delightful early meal after a long day at a trade show. Wonderful server explained the menu and made sure that our meal was enjoyable. The Caesar salad and one slice of supreme pizza was just right for me.

Great place for lunch if you work in downtown Atlanta - Service is sometimes spotty but the food is very good.

The staff is better than the food and the food is great. It has a neat location and parking is close by.

I read about Slice Downtown and was pretty close-by, so decided to give it a try. I went for lunch and went with the meatball sandwich. They have so many good choices for food and a decent beer selection. I would like to try more next time around. The bartender was excellent.

I actually go to the one on Poplar St. but I've been to this one, the original, and it's just as good. Good NY style pizza, good bar, places for neighbors to go.

Great place to wind down and meet some great people. I always get the super cheap, but hecka flavored pizzas...

The wife and I were staying at the Holiday Inn Express on Cone St in Atlanta. We came across Slice while looking for a quick bite and a drink. The pizza was great and the service was too. Nice bartender made for a good time with a 3 minute walk back to our hotel. Highly recommend!

Was in Atlanta for a work conference, looking for a pizza place close by. Can't remember the name but had a house stromboli that was insane. If you want pizza and downtown, definitely check them out.

Do not waste your time if you are looking for a late night eatery. I was craving pizza tonight and found this place on Yelp. According to Yelp they are open until 2am. According to the hours on their door they are open "until". Well tonight they were closed!!! I got there at 10:30pm and they were closed. A staff member informed me that their closing time is at the desecration of the manager on duty, and that the manager bases his/her decision on the volume of business. This was a major disappointment and no way to run a restaurant!!!! I suggest not wasting your time, because they may or may not be open, even if you go during their posted business hours!!!

Located on a side street in the heart of downtown. Love the food and great drinks. The staff is very friendly.

They do not have high chairs, just not a family friendly place. More of a bar. We were told that they just stopped allowing smoking inside. Maybe they are new to being a restaurant and are trying to get away from the bar look. They need to try harder.

The front of the restaurant had a sign that said “Please wait to be seated.” We stood there for ten minutes without anyone acknowledging us or saying they would be with us soon or giving us any information, so we finally just sat down. Then, they rudely told us they had a 45 minute wait and we needed to leave.

Came here a while ago and a waitress was very rude to my husband and I because we questioned the name of a certain pizza. Not plans on visiting again anytime soon. Pizza is just average and space is small

Its a pit stop that was well worth it. The pizza crust was thin and crunchy and the topping were piled on :):):)

They serve good beer and a variaty of sandwitches and burgers. It's not big but a nice place to have lunch or dinner.

It's pizza. If you don't like it your a communist and should move back to North Korea or the Trump towers.

Real nice modern bar / eatery. I only went for a slice of pizza and it was nice and tasted good. I noticed they have a charging station built into their counter top which is a cool addition making it good for guests and also offering free wifi is a big bonus!

I've only had a couple drinks here but the atmosphere was great, the service was good, the drink selection above average. It's nice to find a decent spot for pizza and drinks when you're downtown and don't want to spend an arm and a leg. It's tucked away in the side streets so you'll have to look for it!

Went down with friends and had a great time our waitress was so sweet and checked on us often. I would definatly recomend this place and the buffalo chicken pizza is amazing.

I can’t say enough about how great our experience at Slice was in Downtown Atlanta! We came in for dinner with our church youth group on a recent visit to the Atlanta area and were treated amazingly well with super friendly and personable service! Prompt and continued attention to our ordering, drinks, refills, did order and checking back in with us. The food was Fantastic from the vegetarian lasagna to the pizza and everything in between! They have a great selection of menu options other than just pizza and had something for everyone in our group. Highly recommend this local gem!

Great Pizza in local Pizza Joint with local flavor. Nothing fancy just good food and good atmosphere. But, it is in a pretty dicey part of town, and would suggest a lunch visit or early evening. Best to keep away during night hours.

This place is off the beaten path but has a nice vibe. The pizza was good along with the lasagna. They also have a good selection of local beers. Wait staff was also friendly. We’ve come here several times on other trips to Atlanta and have never been disappointed.

Disappointing. Open for lunch on a Saturday afternoon? No. Not this restaurant. We walked four blocks. The restaurant was closed at 1 p.m. on a Saturday. New hours? Maybe. The sign on the door said they opened at 4 p.m. and we're open till 2 a.m. Okay. So we were going to come back later and get some pizza. We were back at the restaurant at 10:45 p.m. There were exactly three people in this restaurant. The worker was nice. She explained that the kitchen was closing soon....?! We left. Probably will never be back.

Great neighborhood pizza joint, and great place for lunch if you work downtown. Great after work hangout too. Full service bar, fun place.

This place had great Greek-style pizza at affordable prices. Lots of outdoor seating for catching all of the hustle and bustle of downtown Atlanta. So convenient!

I'm reluctant to adopt the Atlanta lifestyle of overdressing for the most basic occassions. Quaint spot, decent pies, oozing with pretentiousness

I was in town for a fun weekend and the Airbnb I was staying in was above Slice. We decided to give it a try one night for dinner. Coming from Chicago, I was nervous about trying pizza from Atlanta. The pizza was amazing, the place is beautiful, and the service was awesome. Slice is a must try.

Great service from manager and really quick food. Not sure about the negative reviews I’m seeing about the manager she was extremely friendly constantly checking on us. We both got personal pizzas and mozzarella sticks. All the food was hot and good.

We tried Slice hoping to get some authentic Italian before a concert. The stromboli was obviously frozen- the offered it only one way & it tasted like a giant hot pocket. I've worked at authentic Italian restaurants and could tell immediately when we got our food. My sister-in-law had the reuben sandwich, and was also disappointed. It had turkey instead of the traditional corned beef. The atmosphere was smokey as they allow people to smoke in their restaurant, and the service was slow--not the kitchen, but the servers. They mostly hung out by the bar and we had to stare them down to get our check. Very disappointing.

My daughter introduced me to Slice. It is just a simple tasty slice of heaven. It was quite crowded, so I assume others love it too.

most of the time the food is good. I have had "less-than" on rare occasion, if it was the first visit I wouldn't have gone back... fortunately they won me over on previous visits.

Chicken parm was awesome; bruschetta was served on a hot plate (great idea) and the pizza Bianca was good!

Located in "dicey" part of town, but it has laid back atmosphere . Pizza is good and beer is cold. It is a local hangout after work hours, and popular by local workers during lunch time.

The pizza is great and so is the atmosphere because Slice has large picture windows that let you see what is happening outside.

We searched out Slice since I found a groupon & were pleasantly surprised. Although hidden on some little streets, service was great and the atmosphere was fine. We ordered 2 different pizzas & drinks which came out very quickly. The pizza was good- some types looked quite creative but you could also build your own. I has the one with pesto & chicken & ended up eating the leftovers for breakfast☺

We went in hungry and came out too full. Everything was so good. We just ate ourselves to the point that we had to sit a while before we could get up and leave.

Good pizza, way too crowded for me now.

I never really leave reviews, particularly bad ones, since I don’t want to negatively impact someone’s livelihood. I am making an exception here to warn others about the terrible food quality. They were only taking to go orders tonight and the gentleman who helped us was very nice. The good news ends there. This was truly the worst pizza I’ve ever had from a restaurant. My husband and kids felt the same way. We are not picky people. It was truly that bad! Save your money.

Ate here with a groupon, good for food but not alcohol. Friendly informal place... the pizza tasted good to me... washed down with draught peroni.. a real plus for me. A place for friends rather than a special someone.

Everything was GREAT! Very happy we chose this location. I plan to return! Everyone seemed to enjoy the Food, Drinks and the local area. I will let my friends in DC know about this location.

One of the best NYC style pizzas we have had outside of NYC! The staff was very friendly and attentive. Great location and nice atmosphere. Best little find in downtown Atlanta!

The title of my review says it all - awesome pizza. Lots of topping choices - standard items and unique ones as well, great service, lots of beer choices including local brews. Other items on the menu include fresh salads and pasta dishes. If you love great pizza - go!

First let me say I went during a unexpected blizzard in Atlanta. It was close to the hotel and there were not many places open. The food took forever to arrive when it did it was great. Bartender and drinks were good. If not for taking thirty five minutes to get my order would have rated five stars for sure.

Kids had the pizza pie, wife and I had one spaghetti with chicken parmigiana and one vegetable lasagna it was all good. Staff are was excellent also. Try them out.

Excellent food and facilities.........:), the staff was very courteous and guided me all over the place.

For those starved in an otherwise food desert area there is decent Pizza and draft beer to be found at Slice. I have been there several times and have never been let down.

Wait staff was nice, beer was cold. Seems to be a hangout for locals, so it can be loud. It was a very cold night, and the windows are single pane, be mindful if you sit near them.

The food here was good and staff friendly. Located very central in downtown Atlanta and convenient. We found it to be more of a bar than restaurant but it was very good and also quite small which was nice.

We decided to eat after a day hanging around Atlanta. Unfortunately the food was nothing more than average. The supreme had WAY too much sausage which made the crust soggy. It also seemed the pizza had been reheated as the crust was weirdly dark around the corners. All in all, eat here if you are nearby but don’t feel the need to trek across town.

We ordered a large pizza, 2 lasagna, and caesar salads. The pizza was soggy and the salads were tiny. They only offer one size caesar salad and it is 3.99. It is very small. The lasagna was dry and not very good. I'd look for another place.

I have a coworker who likes this place. I have no idea why. I ordered an iced tea, a slice of pizza and a side salad. The tea was indistinguishable from water. The salad was pretty basic, so not much to mess up. The dressing, nothing special. The "pizza" was the worst I have ever had including little caesar's. I like garlic and always add it to my pizza. I did not have to here because there was so much garlic that there are no other tastes identifiable.. It is so overpowering and bitter that I wondered if the garlic may have gone bad? The toppings were not bound on by cheese, come to think of it, there was no discernible cheese, just a bunch of loose ground toppings sloppily sprinkled over a thin greasy bit of crust. The marinara was not discernible, but that could be due to the crazy bitter overdose of garlic. To top it off, this place was pricey for what it is. In spite of not many people here, it was pretty loud and hard to have discussions.

Not that memorable...

The lil manager Arab female there is disrespectful. She shouldn’t talk to people. How you don’t greet a guest, but got deceitful jokes? Not even from here, but disrespecting natives. Shawty a clown frfr 🤡

Came here for lunch at mid week and it was packed out . This seemed to be a good sign. Managed to get a seat outside which was ok . Ordered a Stromboli and a beer. Stromboli ( never heard of it before) was fabulous and too much. I ate half and took half back to my hotel . It was absolutely yummy. Like a giant Cornish pasty filled with pizza topping. It was $9.95. I would definitely recommnend this place to others

Slice is located on a out of the way street in downtown Atlanta and I like it like that! Parking is another story so we'll just skip that and get to the good part...the pizza! Always good and nothing out of the world fancy but just yummy hot pizza. I also liked that we could sit outside the restaurant and eat on the sidewalk...which is a good vantage point for all the colorful characters and folks walking around downtown. LOL! Also love the hip wait staff and friendly service. Will definitely go back again!

Stumbled on Slice when wondering from the hotel looking for a quick place to eat. We were greeted by the general manager of the restaurant and immediately seated. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server was helpful, but what makes this place so wonderful is the food. While I'm the first to admit I am not an Italian foodie, I would eat this a few times a week if I lived in town.

We had a groupon deal for this place and it was very much worth checking out. We walked to it from the downtown/touristy area and its tucked away in this beautiful little area. The building has original hardwood floors with exposed brick and the seating is spacious. My friend and I split a pizza and a salad and we still had leftovers. The chicken pesto pizzas various favors blended well with a slightly garlicky crust. I believe the owner waited on us and was very attentive with great recommendations. You could also dine outside.

This place is only 2 blocks from the Ferris wheel. We appreciated that it was quiet and there was no wait on a cold Saturday night. The pizza was good, nothing extraordinary. Their special written on the black board was for a 1-topping 16" pizza for $10. We were excited about it. Then our waitress said it was only for students and wouldn't let us have it. We got a 2-topping 12" for about $15. We looked at the specials board again and it didn't say anything about the special only being for students. We thought that was very misleading. It's much better to under promise and over deliver than the other way around.

Night time listening party. had a nice time. College crowd. I am not a college student. I am 45+. I attended to hear new music as manager. Great service. The manager and waiter were very attentive. Security were respectful. Free Parking conveniently around corner.

The crust was soggy and the sauce had very little flavor

Stayed in a hotel near by and went walking to find some food. Happened upon this quaint little restaurant and am so thankful because I will certainly be making it a must-stop location for my 4 Atlanta visits a year. Everything that we all ordered was SO good. The pizza, pasta, salads and breadsticks were all amazing. Definitely give this place a try!

We had a pickup order. It wasn't the cheapest place, but it was very tasty and ready on time. Definitely recommend the pizza. The marinara is a little.. I don't know, strong. Spicy. Something. But very good.

this is like the best place to go on a friday night or saturday alot of cool ppl come out there.

I love their pizza but the veggie lasagna keeps me coming back. It's the perfect blend of spinach and cheese.

Absolutely the best pizza in Atlanta.
Ambiente descolado e comida boa
Decoração estilo brutalismo, ótimas cervejas e comidas. Pedimos macarrão e pizza, ambos muito gostosos! After walk all day, enjoying the Aquarium and World of coca cola was a great stop at the Slice... is not too expansive! Lovely
