Sluggers is the place to go for drinks if youre a power drinker lookin for a $5 tall boy to pound down. This place use to be great but its alllllll down hill now. Clearly ownership doesnt care about food quality either. Tonight we had a salad, a burge, some pickle chips, and 2 drinks and it was $50. Mcdonalds has better food. You can't tell the difference between staff and customers...my server said she was getting my drink...I look down the railing and shes hugging customers and talking to people. 20 min later I get my drink and its not even what I ordered. The floors are dirty...bathrooms are gross, and they should really consider some remodel work. This place hasn't changed in years. I'm not picky....I know nothing is perfect, but the past few visits here have been just like this. Not going to return.

As bars go this one is ok, standard sports bar with merch everywhere, pretty compact and on a soccer match day was obviously slammed after but unfortunately the service wasn't great - just real slow! If you were dying of dehydration then I probably wouldn't come here!

The family stopped in for some pub food. We recommend the fried pickle chips and the mozzarella sticks. The local beers are very nice also. Can be crowded.

What a great little spot for a pre game session. Feels like a small town home bar with staff to match. The drinks were cold, and crisp, the place had a stellar atmosphere. Will be back next gmae

We had enough time before a Mariner playoff game for a visit. It’s a nice neighborhood sports bar full of memorabilia for both baseball and football. Luckily we found an open table and were quickly served. Standard bar fare- we got gig & chips plus mini corn dogs- both were very good. Service was quick and efficient.

We stopped by here prior to attending a baseball game. Great vibe, atmosphere and people! You need to make a stop.

This is the place to go after a MAriners game. Cheap Beer and Food. Check. Tons of TV's. Check. it's close proximity to the stadium makes it an amazing place to stumble into

Went to Sluggers on 8th Sept 2012. Cool bar! Had Philly cheese steak n fries and a pale ale. Very good, worth a visit! Right next to the football stadium.

This sports bar, super conveniently located near the football and baseball stadiums, gets really busy before games. So keep that in mind, and arrive early. The bartenders, wait staff and servers are all really worked off their feet, but manage to remain pleasant and happy. We managed to get a raised booth, sitting across from the bar, which appear to be the premium seats. It had full view of the bar, TV screens, and total chaos of people as the bar got busier. The kitchen has standard pub fare, but nothing out of the ordinary. The bar is stocked with plenty of local craft beers that are worth trying out. Patience is required when ordering, though, as the wait staff can get overwhelmed with orders.

It's not fair to judge a place based on an Event Menu as they are usually low value items and this place definitely did not vary from the norm. Less than a block from Century Link Field on the morning of a Seahawks game, the food was overpriced and just blah. The fries were ok but the Beef Dip was really unacceptable. The au jus was watery, the bun fell apart as it lacked the structure to survive the dip, and the meat was meagre and unacceptably gristly and fatty. What was totally unacceptable were the prehistoric excuse for toilets. A complete Third World latrine setup, what is most shocking is the fact that the men's stall closest to the door has over an inch of air space between the pole and the wall, so everyone who is heading out has a full view of you on the toilet. Event Menu or not, I certainly won't be back.

If you want to go visit and chat, be wary - its loud there! But, with that said, its fun,and hip and young! Fast service! My third time there, and enjoy it every time.

4 hours pre-football game, bottom tables were taken but all upstairs was open. Lots of TVs with variety of sports. Waitresses were friendly but not attentive. Received warm draft beer. Ordered fish 'n chips and Chicken Cordon Bleu bites. Both were over-fried, fish was dark brown on outside and shrunken inside breading, chewy. The CCB bites also crispy on outside and flavorless (beware of the inside squirting out on your first bite, you will be burned). On the 3rd time I asked, I received the Tabasco sauce. My sister asked for her Dr. Pepper to be refilled and received Diet Coke. The french fries were good. They will ask for a credit card to hold even if you do not intend to run a tab.

We stopped in here after the ballgame. Cool stop and we waited for the crowds to clear out. Kate and I met some nice people in there, Patrece and Brittany! You ladies were fun!

This place is as good as it gets. It's part of my Seahawk pre-game ritual and if i didn't have season tickets I'd park myself here all day to watch all of the Sunday NFL games! The atmosphere on game day is fantastic, the service is superb, the memorabilia all around you is wonderful as well! For 1pm game days during the NFL season, you need to be inside by 8:30am if you care to find a seat---that fact alone tells you as much as you need to know....it's that popular and that good! That said, you don't need a seat to enjoy Sluggers, it just makes a 5 hour stay easier on your behind. The key is to be there, the atmosphere is what makes Sluggers so much more than just another sports bar. Whether your sitting or standing---who really cares---just make sure you're there. To be honest, 3 hours later, you won't even know (nor care) if you're sitting or standing. The staff is great (and easy on the eyes for both genders), the beers and other assorted bevvies are real nice, the food is well priced and tasty and with too many tv's to count, it's simply the ideal place (heck the only place) anybody should consider when watching the NFLon a routine busy Sunday! Kudos to the owners, the staff and the Seattle home town clientelle who have made Sluggers THE place to be on game day or any other day for that matter. One more note, you'll stand out like your weird uncle Melvin if you don't show up wearing your favorite Seahawk or Mariner jersey, t-shirt or sweatshirt...and be prepared to be peppered with an array of rather loud (yet friendly) BOO's if you dare show up in the opposing teams uni's---just as it should be! Go Seahawks!!!!

went here after watching the Mariners and dodgers game, loads of Dodger fans, but that's Seattle a great place to watch the visiting play lol. Chatted baseball for many hours with the clientele, I could go on all night about ball, but I digress. The beer was cheap we didn't eat but the place defiantly had a great atmosphere and was just a great place to go after the game and relax before heading out on the town.

We had a late lunch here, with the place almost to ourselves, as it was a weekday and no game imminent. Burgers and sandwiches were goo, fries were decent. Good service. This gets crowded on game days, and it isnt't really big, so be advised to plan ahead.

Really, really appreciated the diligence paid by the bouncer of who I found acceptable or risky to go home with. He went above and beyond to make sure my Uber found me and also told a male that I ease worried about to get lost in a situation I was uncomfortable with. Amazing, 100 percent recommend to all women — complete advocates for how you feel about a given individual!!!

Ok for a few pre match beers, plenty of TVs with different sports on. Beer prices steeper than other bars that are close but it's a good spot for a sports fan.

Went here before a Sounders game on game day. Luckily we got there hours before the game so they were still slow. The set up is cool as they have one wall lined with booths overlooking 10+ televisions with various sports games on. The service was great. They had several beers on tap, mostly local and what wasn't on tap they had in "big boy" cans. Would recommend getting there early to get a seat as they started to fill up fast as the game grew closer. Hint, theres an additional bar upstairs.

A must on our to-do list before the Seahawks game. Crowded bar with narrow walkways; nice atmosphere before taking a game in. Only had drinks from the bar; no food but looked like your regular American bar/pub food from what I saw. Time your bathroom breaks appropriately as it gets PACKED

Beautiful narrow bar with lots of White Oak Mill Work. Fun place to visit and cohabitate with the Seattle Sports Fans

This place is the best. They just re-opened as part of Phase 1.5 and it feels like nothing changed (except the masks and socially distanced seating, of course). Prices are reasonable, the owners are so kind and make a point to know you. This place is a modern day Cheers!!

Located across the street from both the football stadium and ballpark, Sluggers offers a great no frills, nothing fancy stop for pre or post game activities. 24oz tall boy cans predominate balanced off by a nice selection of drafts incl. not so local anymore (InBev) Rainer and crowd favorite PBR. Guy next to us was so drunk he was spitting his words out so we left for dryer environs. Nothing fancy but workable.

The only thing that saves this place is its next to the stadium...I had the taco salad and a club sandwich on different visits neither was anything better than edible. Skip this one

Have been going into this place for a long time and it is usually a great fun spot. But, I had a problem entering the place prior to a game I guess largely due to the door man not liking me. He claimed I was too drunk to enter but I only had one cocktail an hour previous to getting to Sluggers. I just went to the bar next door for couple of beers. The next night went in and spoke with the long time bartender (owner?) about the incident. He recognized me from years past and really couldn't explain the rude and incomprehensible behavior of the doorman. Well, I've loved this bar for a few decades and I'm not going let let one person ruin the fun this place usually is all about. Enjoyed a burger which was tasty.

Excellent beer choices. Fun vibe and a very friendly chatty waitress. Our son had been there before and he enjoyed it on his prior Seattle visit. Would definitely go there again

Came here with friends before the Mariner's - Indians game on a Saturday and had a good time. Cold beer, shots, and bar food. Pretty much exactly what you are looking for before a game. Certainly A LOT cheaper than food and beers inside the ballpark.

we went here for a few drinks before going to game a centurylink. It was slammed but service was still pretty fast and we had a good time.

always a bit crowded...hard to get a beer, but thats expected.

We enjoyed several drinks here before the game. The Seahawl fans really do love their team, They gave us Packer fans a harf time but all in good fun. Very close to stadium.

Great place to meet friends before going to a game. They have price specials they offer on the menu on non-game days, so if you feel inclined to go to Sluggers when there's no local game on, there's some incentive too. Lots of TVs, typical pub fare, and some specialty cocktails too. Looks quiet from the street, but can be hopping inside.

Marcus showed us sooooo much love. he is the most genuine bartender and person. a big group of us traveled to seattle for the falcons/seahawks game & a few people recommended sluggers as a pregame spot. we decided to stop by and i'm glad we did. marcus and the entire staff was so hospitable, even to us opposing team fans! we had such a great time that we came back to sluggers after the game. our experience here cemented seattle as one of my favorite cities...largely in part to how fantastic marcus and staff are. a+ service!!

Was in this place last Saturday and saw something disturbing. The owner was drunk and almost started a fight with a customer. Some older guy was yelling at his team during a game and the owner started ripping into him yelling profanities and called the guy out. No reason for this. The older guy was just upset that his team lost. What is the owner doing getting drunk at his place of business and getting in confrontations with patrons. The customer got up and left with his party rather than take the abuse. The owner looked like a carnival clown - had some cheap outfit on thast made him look like he was from some cheap bikers gang. Certainly has some anger issues. Dude - clean up your act. I won't go there anymore - or my friends!. Its a sports bar. Customers will get rowdy on game day. As long as they are not profane - they should be able to yell a little! Idiot!
Real nice lunch, incredible service
I wish I could recall the name of the young man who served us because he was fantastic, we couldn’t not have asked for more. Our lunch was superb and our beers tasty and cold. We were pretty hungry as we walked in and two hours later we walked out happy and more than full and content. We love it here and can’t wait to come back.
