If you're in town and want a down-to-earth BBQ, then come here. The quality is top, nice service. The price is fair. And if you still feel like it, then you can linger at the party location, where the BBQ sales are also located

The food was beyond incredible. Each bite was met with a m-m-m by all three in my party. The ambiance was welcoming, staff efficient.

Ordered the "Barnyard Feast" ($150.00 before tax) Along with the meat it includes 4 sides, 2 jars of pickles and bread. We ordered on-line ~5:30 PM on a Friday. When we picked up the order - they said go to the bar - went to the bar and the bartender gives us 2 small plastic bags - Hmmmm didn't look like $161.00+ of food. Opened the bags - not hardly!! Out of the 4 sides we ordered they "were out of 3 of them" ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? 5:30 on a Friday? They had substituted 2 of the sides with others, and did not fill the 4th. Only one side is what we had ordered. Why not Call? They had our cell number. There was no bread, there were no pickles. We asked to talk with the manager - as the bartender was basically clueless. To his credit the manager did realize the major snafu. He stated that they had "run out" of the sides, and the bartender was supposed have told us... We substituted sides to equal 4, (but not what we really had wanted) he had someone get the bread. Where are the pickles?? OOHH we just made them they aren't really ready? Are you kidding me again?? The manager did discount the original $150.00 charge to his credit. The meat was good - but because of the hassle and poor service we would NEVER eat there - or order from there again - BEWARE!!!

The front desk person recommended this place near our hotel and it did not disappoint. Our server was Dave and was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu. He had recommendations for different meats and was spot on with all of them. The BBQ was amazing and there was a variety of sauces to go with it. There is also some great beer selection as well. Definitely check this place out, you won't regret it!!!

I have eaten at smoke before. Tonight it was average. Problems with the sides, the kitchen was off on the mac and cheese and the cream style corn. Big plus to the bartender for the jalepeno margarita.

Overpriced for the quality BBQ you get. Bun was hard and meat wasn't anything special. it was about $17 dollars for the sandwich and a small side with a small thing of BBQ sauce. The only nice part about the location is that there is plenty of outdoor seating.

This place is located right outside of downtown SA and the atmosphere is excellent. The greeter was courteous and cool. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. The food we ordered (party of four), was tasteful and plenty. I'm a picky eater and this satisfied me.

We stopped there for lunch on 6/26 in San Antonio, TX. Our family group of 9 really enjoyed the awesome food and wonderful atmosphere. We got to sample the delicious drinks thanks to the generosity of the great staff members. They had great outdoor seating with shade and misters to help relieve the Texas Summer Heat. I would highly recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant to everyone that visits the San Antonio area!

Got to visit Smoke for the first time. There was a private event going on, so I walked past the main entrance, which is not along the street, but once in, it's a fun vibe, good bar and food menu, I highly recommend the BBQ mac and cheese. We had a large group and there were no bad items on the menu. Fun vibe if you are staying downtown San Antonio or have an event at the Alamodome, as it is (a bit of a) walking distance but not unreasonably far.

Rather upscale for barbecue; we're used to smoky dives with their own pits. This place has downstairs bars and an upstairs dining room. Very pleasant, although quite noisy with all the hard surfaces. I don't want to complain about the good spareribs, with a choice of three sauces (Korean, Carolina, and Texas) and a beautiful presentation, but this just isn't what is meant by authentic Texas barbecue. Oh, you'll enjoy the food, and the sangria was good. But I can't think of a good reason to get your barbecue cravings satisfied here. Nice place, though.

We went to Smoke on the recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. It was outstanding. Everyone loved their meal. The meat was tender and delicious. The brisket was some of the best I have ever had and the pulled pork and sausage was great too. The service was good as well. We would go back.

To begin the shrimp cocktail was amazing! That was followed by ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork was a wonderful main course. I like that you order the sides separately. Desert was the carmel drizzled cheesecake, which had great texture and was a great way to end our meal.

Great service and food. I ordered the chopped pork sandwich. So yummy. It came with fries and they were really good too. I like the different kind of sauces they have on the table for you to try. Beautiful place and nice atmosphere. Good Prices and good amount of food.

Glad we stopped at the Smoke on Friday afternoon so we were able to get a seat! Great 'sloppy joe' and fries! Not your typical sloppy joe! Service and atmosphere was welcoming.

My Texan parents from Mathis wanted to show us Utahns what real Texan BBQ was all about. We were in a rush, tired, grumpy from lack of food and we made a mistake. We didn't do our research. We took the word of the front door guy at the Marriott Riverwalk. We then walked 3 blocks to Smoke the Restaurant. Man, I thought we struck gold on the modern decor and newly renovated area. Clean looking! I loved the old black locomotion sitting in the station just outside the window of our table. Very clean and nice looking place. Not very many people eating which might be clue. Bottom line.. Service sucked..Took forever and the gal made several mistakes with drinks. With barely any customers and our order took way too long. OH AND THEY WERE OUT OF RIBS? Never made old folks and teenagers wait that long. The beans tasted like fake liquid mesquite smoke The sauce was runny and flavor lacking. The sauce bottle was sticky. The Q sandwhich was boring, greasy, cold, chewy and full of fat. The side onion was dried out, the pickle was blah. Wheres the bark and the tenderness? Wheres the love?! We paid our bill and then I saw my southern classy mom do something Ive never seen her do. As we were walking out and the manager asked how was our meal, she turned to him and said..worst brisket ever had. To his defense.. he tried to make it right and he shook her hand. When there is so much BBQ in Texas, you better get it right the first time.

I really want to give this place a great review, because the food we had was very good. But I can't for two reasons. One, we visited on a Friday at 7:00 pm, and when I tried to order brisket, they were out! Come on, about 1/3 of your entrees had brisket! How can you run out of brisket that early in Texas! So I had a plate of pulled pork and smoked turkey. Both were very good. The sides were also tasty. Debbie had quesadillas and was pleased with them. We had two margaritas each, and round two tasted much different than round one. The waitress forgot my enchilada soup and I had to ask for it well into our meal. Since our hotel was close by, and since I really wanted some Texas brisket, we came back on Sunday. Closing time is published as 9:00 pm. When we arrived at 7:50, there was a hand written note on the door saying they were closing at 8:00 - on a holiday weekend no less!?? What is up with that? Another group walked in as we were, and we were both told we would not be seated. So we left disappointed. Maybe they ran out of food again. It's sad, and definitely a poor reflection on management to 1) Run out of a key meat two hours before closing on a Friday, and then 2) To shut down early on a holiday weekend when you should be open later. This place has potential, and the food itself was very good. But poor execution like this will hurt business.

We ordered a glass of Perseco before ordering dinner and the waiter did not know what it was. Nor could he pronounce the name of a single wine on the menu. I thought he was taking the on line tutorial on how to use the menu tablet while he attempted to take our order. He hovered over the table, tried to remove our dishes in the middle of the meal and wanted to deliver the check before we finished eating or ordered desert. Salads and entrees were delivered at the wrong time. The manager got involved but was of no help either. The food was good but management needs to put more attention into training front of house staff before letting them loose on customers.

I can honestly say this was one of the worst all around experiences we have ever had in a restaurant. And the worst part? We were there for a friends 30th birthday dinner. We arrived early and ordered drinks from the bar. The place was pretty empty. Took 15 minutes to get our drink. I also asked for a water and it sat at the end of the bar with the waitress no where In site for another 10 minutes. (Here’s where I share my friend with the bday arrived. She’s in the health care field and she made a comment immediately that the waitresss was on something.). We get seated and order drinks. Same waitress forgot to put my drink order in. The same ordering and service fiascos continued all night. She would ask a few of us if we wanted refills but completely walk away without asking the others. And since she would not make eye contact it wasn’t like we could get her attention. 2 others in our party were also in health care field and made comments about her being on something. The bathroom was infested with roaches. Each of us saw no less than 3 in the different enclosed stalls at any point in time. The ribs had little TK no meat on them. All the meat and the sides looked and tasted like it was sitting under a heat lamp all day. Oh. And they had a “limited game day menu” but the Super Bowl was not until today. A day later. Between the overall lack of cleanliness of the facility. The roaches. The terrible service and the heat lamp food, buyer beware all around.

We had to walk through some questionable streets from the convention center to get here. Nothing unusual, quite expected for a busy city. We liked the quick service, with one indoor section for food and a full bar outside. Very relaxed atmosphere with very good bbq at an affordable price. We really enjoyed the mango margarita. We were there for a late afternoon meal on Friday and they were setting up the stage for some sort of concert for the San Antonio Fiesta. It looked like a fun place to be in that evening.

Went recently on a Sunday for Brunch. Thought menu looked interesting. Walked into find a Dj at the door, thought that was odd given that is was a Sunday morning...music to loud, could not enjoy having any conversation. Food okay, sauce to sweet for my taste..service was good..interesting atmosphere. Might try again if I was in the area, but won't go out of my way..

One of the joys of visiting Texas is the great Texan barbecue that is available in so many places. Unfortunately, this place just doesn't really hit the spot. We went there for dinner on New Years Day and it should have been an indicator that there were hardly any customers. The service was quite hit and miss and the food, whilst not at all distasteful, was uninspiring.

We made reservations for our family of 3 on a Wednesday night, when we arrived they had a high top available but a table was going to be a 30 minute wait. Ok, not our first choice but we will take it. The server was very kind but not attentive, if we needed something we had to go to the bar and ask for it or flag her down. The food is good but nothing to write home about, you can get equally good food at less expensive places, that said the prices weren’t outrageous. It’s not a great family atmosphere, I mean it’s a bar so... It wasn’t great, it wasn’t terrible, it was just meh but I probably won’t go back either.

We loved it! We got the pit masters choice. So good! Everything was melt in your mouth. The sauce selection was on point and the drinks were awesome too.

We attended this restaurant twice while in San Antonio during a conference, we found out of the blue and was a reasonable walk from our hotel. Our first visit was fabulous, wait staff was excellent and informative, great experience and thoroughly enjoyed sampling the different offerings on the menu. While dining we not only noticed on the menu two other entre's we wanted to try but also viewed being served... There wasn't enough room in the belly to add to what we already consumed so made a plan that later in the week before we left this would be out last night out meal. This day came today, we were excited as we had a great experience previously, and kudos today to the servers and chef, food is fantastic and they are supper friendly and helpful, however the problem lies in the fact the restaurant had neither of the items we wanted to order ( rib eye steak and prawnzilla- two very large prawns) it was to be our surf and turf evening. We were informed something had occurred and the chef wasn't confident in serving product they had in stock. Although disappointed, ok we enjoyed other items so we proceed to order a variety of smoked items as an app... Prior to ordering we were told that we would receive a discount because they could not provide what we were wanting to order ... Very nice, and after getting into the four items we had ordered as an app, we were offered another steak that they had as a replacement if interested... We agreed and thought nicely that they offered something in it he place of the steak we couldn't get.... (They only have two that I know of, and this one, the tomahawk was of part of a meal for two or three, the ribeye was stand alone. We were not told anymore other than they would be happy to provide as replacement. The ribeye is 42 dollars, when we got our bill we were charge 100 dollars for the replacement ... How in the world do you offer a replacement and have the nerve to charge 68 dollars more. We said something to our server and she understood and spoke to her manager , who them discounted bill 20 percent from 179 ... Although a gesture far from what I would view as appropriate when replacement offering was offered, with no indication of cost... Perhaps my mistake for not asking but I believe a reasonable assumption that if you offer as a replacement it is at same cost at most... We asked to speak to the manager and she came out, and we stated our position and she apologized and said there was a communication issue. I don't believe that is out problem as guests and told her I certainly would not have take that steak if I was told I was going to be charged 100 dollars for it.... She said she understood but made no offering to adjust price down to what the ribeye steak would have been. I should have refused to pay the tab, however not being of that nature I paid the bill but indicated I personally feel that is wrong and bad customer service. We have been here a week and among many professionals whom we spoke so favourably of this new establishment in st.pauls square.... It is great food and as indicated service staff was fabulous... But for the reasons related to what I feel as unfair treatment and billing for something we didn't even request, but offered I wouldn't recommend this place any further to anyone.. This type of service left a terrible taste in our mouths and of our last evening in San Antonio. As a note , we want to say on both visits our servers Dave and Stephanie as well as chef and other staff were fabulous, however owners may want to look into management staff that recognize customer service .... There communication issues are not the guests problem , honour what you say you would do and she was the last person we spoke to and had to ask for her, every other person including chef was courteous to visit our table

Giving this restaurant a four star, only for the delicious food... the service is fair at best!!! From the second we walked in... the hostess was less than enthusiastic (bordering on annoyed while seating us) the waitress was sweet but definitely not a multi or even a single tasker ... she was very kind however she seemed confused about the salad coming with the meal (even thought it’s stated on the menu multiple times and places) but it turned out that it didn’t matter because it never came anyway... appetizer was delicious we did however just eat from the dish because plates were never brought to serve the appetizer.... she took my water glass and never returned had to flag her down to get it back... there was 1 other table of 2 ladies (who I only saw drink tea) when we arrived at the restaurant... my husbands meal was not what he ordered but we just laughed it off and moved on ... he asked for butter which did arrive after some time... the ladies next to us chuckled politely when my water finally returned... salads were on the receipt when I paid but it looked like they were included in the meal price so we just laughed and moved on...we would not have wanted to dine on a busy night!!! So eat whatever they serve you and go with it because the food was good!!!!

The reason we came was because of a Groupon that we bought... This is an excellent restaurant the BBQ (pulled pork & brisket) was super tender and delicious... Cheap drinks $2 dollar Lone Star Beers... I’m glad we tried this place out... This bar / restaurant also can host any type of party in all in its space, several bars, court yard and upstairs banquet area...

Went here before a football game at the Alamodome. We had the "special" which was a sampling of chicken, brisket, and pulled pork. I can honestly say it was the best pulled pork I've ever had. Brisket had a good flavor, but I tend to like mine a little more moist. Still very good though. Chicken was good. The side of mashed potatoes and beans were also the best I've had. The only thing that concerns me would be the hostesses at the front of the restaurant. When we walked in, they were a bit dazed and confused as to what to do. We prompted them the entire time. "Do you want our name?" "Do we need to stand here or can we go to the adjacent bar?" "Is there a wait?" "How long?". If it wasn't their very first day on the job, I would be really surprised and frankly quite concerned how bad they are. We went to the bar, but decided to not chance it and returned within a minute. Good thing we did, because they were about to give our table away to someone who had literally just walked in. So, a 30-minute wait time was actually 1 minute, which was great. But their lack of experience would have me concerned if I was the manager/owner. Our waiter was great and very attentive however. And like I said, the food was over the top good. We will return if in the area.

Nice bbq spot close to convention center, was upbeat good atmosphere. Had a sandwich with multiple meats, which was good. Offered different style sauces which was cool. Decently priced.

This place is a tourist trap! High prices and really REALLY poor service. 5 of us went for a late-afternoon lunch when there was maybe 4 other tables dining. We ordered drinks and waited and waited and waited when finally the same server came up to ask if we were ready to order food. I said we hadn't gotten our drinks yet and that we'll wait to order until we had. A minute later she came up and told one of our party that the bar didn't have the ingredients for, wait for it - A Manhattan: whiskey, vermouth, bitters, and an orange peel. A bar that doesn't have the ingredients for a Manhattan... let that sink in! She later came back and said they did have the ingredients but let me tell you, my friend said he didn't know what it was but it wasn't worth the hassle of returning it. Another in our party ordered a gin and tonic. The waitress then asked 'what would you like in it'? Ummm... some gin, and some tonic? Our entrees came... tasted perfectly fine but expensive for what it was... then later, our salads came. OK... we rolled with it. The one bright spot was that we were staying near the Alamodome to be near a DCI (Drum Corps International) show and the manager did everything in his power to tune one of the TV sets in to the show... he really went above and beyond.

We visited Smoke on two occasions during the Final 4. Eating hadn't crossed our mind. It happened to be steps away from the Alamodome and was one of the loudest bars in town. Michigan Blue was the colour. Beer was cold and happy hour priced at 5 bucks. (As high as 9 dollars outside in the courtyard hours before gametime on the Monday, obviously special occasion pricing ) But this was all a part of the San Antonio experience we wanted. Multiple levels, indoor and outdoor bars, a rocking basement, live deejay in the centre area and a big-bearded bartender who recalled our drinks the next day amongst hundreds he had served. So I am really reviewing the fun we had at a lifetime event, talking to the basketball fans and watching a live band under a big screen outside.I would go back for if we ever get to SA again. It was the best block party in town.

Went here with a coworker for lunch. The meats were delicious. With the ribs, the meat was falling off of the bone. A nice variety of sauces. I wish there had been one with a bit of heat, oh well. The mac and cheese had a great crust on it. Very helpful staff. A bit on the pricier side, but I would certainly go there again.

I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich lunch special, incidentally the same as the regular menu. I paid over $10.00 for this sandwich which was nothing more than two small pieces of toast and a small amount of pulled pork. Definitely not worth what I paid! I will say that the bar tender I ordered from was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant. I would not go back for a BBQ sandwich at lunch.

Good brisket BBQ sandwich! Even better with an Alamo IPA. Nice staff, even though it was closing, they still welcomed me.

Bottom line: do not go to this place, forewarning if you just read the two line preview For starters, very little parking around because there are other things all around that also use the same small amount of parking. They kind of force you to use the $12 valet parking. We had reserved table for 22 people and they said no problem. That’s where the trouble began where they only assigned one server. We essentially had 25 minutes of eating and 90 minutes of waiting for them to do something. The waters came out in 25 minutes. Their drinks orders were for filled in about 45 minutes to an hour. The food order was about an hour and 15 minutes just to be taken. Then the food orders took another 30 minutes to completely come out in multi phases and not so warm for a meat and barbecue place, completely unacceptable compared to their peers all over town in Texas. We had one person just order two sides and that came up dead last with one side coming out 10 minutes before the other side. It was just cream corn and macaroni cheese. The orders were not organized even though they use an electronic tablet order which should be superquick and clear. The server kept asking who had what dish. After we were all done, it took them another 30 minutes to get our checks out. Finally one person our group demanded that the manager have some help in at least getting us out of this never ending experience. We finally had to ask the manager to come out and help with the payments. Are usually don’t have thoroughly disappointing experience is reviewed and almost never one star but this definitely qualifies. With all the choices in town I would never come back and never recommend anybody to come back especially as a big group. Food portions are small for their price and if it’s going to come out cold it really doesn’t matter how big or how tender they are. Go to another place that will at least have hot food.

1. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT- the Ribs and Brisket were very Good! 👌🏽 2. The service was average at best. 3. Do not order the Potato Salad(Yuck) or the Baked (old & dry) Beans. 4. Being a BBQ connoisseur like many others around the US, I decided to try a bbq place close to my hotel. I chose "Smoke the Restaurants" downtown location. The hostess pleasantly greeted me and showed me to the bar where I waited several lengthy minutes before my presence was acknowledge. I found myself irritated by the fact that the gentlemen seated next to me received his appetizer and meal before me and I had ordered at least 15 minutes prior to his arrival. 5. It's likely to be some time before I return to beautiful San Antonio again. However, I will never return to this bbq location again. 6. Save your money for the traditional BBQ Shack elsewhere where the is a true BBQ AMBIENCE. You don't need liquor to enjoy good food. Water, Iced Tea, Lemonade or a Soda would have been nice if they had thought to ask. Thank You.

Enjoyed happy hour drinks and smoked offerings: chicken quesadilla, beef taco and the pulled pork. All had excellent smoke flavor. Our waiter, George, was attentive to our needs!

We got great service and the food was excellent. Speedy and kind staff. Highly recommend it for a nice sit down meal

we went there as it was right down by the best western - a few people stating at the hotel had told us about it and said we should try it. while we werelooking at the river walk, but the temps were 100 degrees out very hot and humid and we did not feel like walking the river walk to find something, I have to say it was a good choice. We had the fried chicken livers as a starter and they were great with the hot pepper maralade that was served, I had the fried catfish as it is something I normally would never get in OZ. It was really good and this place is highly recommended

Last night in Texas and we wanted BBQ. This place was convenient to our hotel. That is the only good thing I can say about it. The hostess was completely rude. The server was okay but the food was awful. Brisket was nothing but slimy fat. The turkey was like cardboard. Mac & Cheese was cold It was just very bad.

Tired of the weak BBQ near the Riverwalk? Walk a little further down the road and try SMOKE. Charro beans were really good. Fries were great and fresh. Pulled pork and brisket was excellent. Nice crust on the brisket, very tender. Service was super friendly and helpful. Clean feeling all around. Acoustics were a little loud for my liking when it got busy.

We were there before noon and there was a line, but they move it pretty quickly and once you have ordered and paid it was a very short time before the meal appeared at the table. The meat was great, but as others have mentioned the mac and cheese was very special because it contained smoked meat, and the creamed corn was also very good and very unique and had not only a spiciness, but also some smoke.

We went to this restaurant on Saturday night after the Democratic State Convention at the nearby Alamodome. We were a group of six. Two of us received our food, but the other four waited and waited (and waited) what seemed like a half hour or more, while those of us whose meals had been served picked and nibbled (while our food got cold) in hopes of waiting so we could eat (mostly at least) together. After several inquiries, eventually the missing meals were served, and the manager (?) came over and apparently made an offer of some kind to try to compensate those affected for the inconvenience (coffee? dessert? discount? I didn't really hear what he offered) but in the end they didn't even do that, and I understand that everyone's checks were for the same normal (and not really inexpensive) amounts. While the food was good (once we finally got it), the experience was not all that good, also in part because the restaurant is exceedingly noisy (making it difficult for us to talk about the convention we had just finished). Some kind of acoustical dampening of some kind would be a huge improvement.

Smoke is the name of a great BBQ place in Dallas, this is not it. Located near the Sunset Station and Alamo Dome is what I'm told was the old Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, it is a nice space with a rustic chic atmosphere. We went a bit after lunch hours on a Saturday and it was virtually empty even though the TVs were playing several ball games. We ordered and some dishes were good, chicken fried chicken, onion rings; some were okay, the ribs; but some were skimpy and marginal, the 2 meat plate was very skimpy with less than a 1/3 lb of meat total, sides that were clearly old and a salad that was sent back due to sitting waaaaay too long. Remember we are the only folks therel Everything was overpriced for what was served, except for the chicken. The service was friendly but marginal, our teas were refilled with Dr. Pepper (our son is a server in another, non BBBQ, restaurant in town, and he wasn't amused. Bottom line, we no go back...too many good places in town for this.

Do NOT eat here. I ordered this to be delivered and there was a piece of glass in my beans that broke my tooth. I tried to call just to inform them of the issue and let them know not to sell anymore from that batch of beans. I was put on hold and they never came back so I called back and she told me that they were too busy and a manager didn't have time to deal with it. I let her know that they should stop selling the batch of beans and she said "Oh no we're super good at making sure nothing gets into our food so there's no need to throw that batch out. I'm sure yours was just some accident. That kind of thing happens." She said that she would have a manager call me back in a moment. Two hours later there was still no call so I called back. This time the girl who answered tried to find a manager and none of them were willing to speak with me. She then went to the store owner, Adrian Martinez, who said that he didn't have the time to deal with it and if I wanted to call a lawyer I should just do that. Like I said, all I wanted was to tell them to throw the beans out but the fact that they didn't seem to care in the slightest that they may be serving food with glass in it is just absurd. Horrible customer service and the foods not great either.

Walked in with my kid and was promptly seated ( not busy at all) several empty tables. And that was the last interaction with the staff. Sat there in the middle of the restaurant for 15 min. No service at all, not even drinks. The servers were too busy standing around talking apparently. Won't be back.

My husband and I had lunch at Smoke, the food was great! Loved the seasoned Zucchini! We plan on returning.

Parking was close and easy, location seemed nice: close to both the Alamodome and Sunset Station. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Brisket-topped deviled eggs and cornbread were delivered shortly after, and were tasty. My first apprehension occurred when all of our drinks were empty for a while, even after requesting refills. The second concern came when the food was delivered. My coleslaw had no dressing in it at all. The food (for the most part) was lukewarm, and fairly flavorless. Disappointment was rampant around the table. I sent the coleslaw back, and requested mashed potatoes. They were also flavorless and lukewarm when delivered. Our drinks were refilled when requests were made, never without them. A manager came by the table to inquire on our visit. When told about the concerns, he began to placate and inform how much they have to do to prepare the restaurant. I felt he was condescending, and when I tried to give my impressions, he cut me off. I was becoming highly annoyed. Eventually the manager offered a free dessert, we declined. We advised we would probably not be back. He did apply a 10% discount to the ticket. We paid, and left.

Smoke has transformed itself into a pretty nifty sports bar and has some decent happy hour perks like Deep Eddy Vodka specials and some pretty tasty $6 appetizers. Hopefully, Ryan will be your bartender if you stop by during their happy hour. The other folks are not as friendly or attentive as Ryan.

We arrived in SA around 7 pm on a Thursday, tired and hungry so the hotel desk clerk suggested Smoke which was only a block away. Downstairs was virtually deserted but there was some big private gala function going on upstairs. Service was personable enough but slow, not the best for our cranky, hungry group...I had the Pitmaster Selection, some dry brisket which must have been under the heat lamp for a while, couple of gristly ribs, and a honkin' big but plain grilled chicken boob. Nobody in our group of eight was ecstatic about the food, but it was late, and we were fed up, so to speak... Nobody wanted to return another night.

Pros: R&B oldies was nice. Free desserts after complaints with manager. Free salad because of their mistake. Found out they play similar music for dancing, Fri/Sat. Cons: Had a 12:45 reservation for 3 but didn't get seated 15-20 min. They weren't even crowded. Menu was confusing. Waiter made it worse; no silverware until after meal came but only after we asked bus person. Water wasn't replenished until way too late. Waiter tried to fix overcharge of salad. Sweet potatoes were twice the charge of one side; supposed to be 2 sides for $4. Would not recommend if you want to enjoy a good meal & service. Pulled pork/ chicken were decent. Brisket was dry. BBQ sauces were watery. Salad was prepackaged greens--no taste. May come check out the music/dancing.

Visited the restaurant for lunch with my business associate yesterday. Our order was delivered very slow and left out the sides. After i inquired about,i was told if you are almost finished with your lunch, you can take home the sides. It was unacceptable answer.we were there to have lunch ,not to take it home. After repeated requests, our sides were delivered when we were finished with the lunch.

Why would you open business as normal after someone was shot at your establishment last night? Even the Sonic where someone was gunned down and killed was closed for at least 2 days. SMH. Do better.

On the advice of the hotel's concierge, our party of 20 tried Smoke on Commerce for some Texas BBQ. To be honest , I have only had Texas brisket one time, in Ft Worth, and it wasn't anything special to me. We had confirmed reservations at 7pm for our large party and the person on the phone assured us that they could seat us as a group. We made the reservation the day before, so timing was not an issue. When we arrived, the place was busy and the woman at the register told us they didn't have any place for us but we could wait in the bar. And we did; wait and wait and wait. When questioned, the hostess told us they can't refuse walk in's and the only way we'd be seated is if we'd agree to 3 tables, scattered through the restaurant. So we agreed and we're seated at 8:15 We were greeted and asked for drink orders and the waitress took off. She returned in about 10 minutes and asked if we were ready to order. No menus, so we asked for some to see what to order. She brought them a bit later and eventually took our appetizer and entree orders. Gone again. Finally, at about 9pm, the food arrived, sans entrees. I had the Pitmaster's choice, a combination of brisket, pulled pork and sliced sausage. Very cold, dry, unappealing. The sausage at least had a good flavor, albeit cold. Brisket tasted like a dry Sunday chuck roast, minus the fat and flavor. The pulled pork tasted like stringy pork roast with little flavor. Side dish was burned, cold Brussel sprouts. My wife had the pulled pork sliders and she said they tasted like canned Castleberry's BBQ. She ate ½ of one slider and called it quits. Others at our table had various dishes. All agreed, it was the worst example of smoke cooking they had ever tried. We are mostly from Southern States - Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina plus California and Florida, and know good BBQ. This wasn't even close. After a long wait, we got our checks, paid and left. Time approximately 9:45. A lengthy, bad meal. Stay away and try anything else.

Sorry to say, but it's for tourist that don't eat Texas smoked meat. The food was not something I would return for. They put garlic in the barely cooked potato salad. Been in Texas 51 years. Never had garlic in undercooked potato salad. The meat was ok. Didn't care for the modern type atmosphere. Younger millennial types would probably enjoy it. This is not a place I would return too.

This place needs management help big times . we tried to order over the phone but the order taker admitted to being new . I got passed around when I mentioned my Groupon . I was also quoted different prices than their online menu shows . the brisket was very tough and fatty , the potato salad was bland, the beer can chicken was sub par . this place has been overly rated by all of the critics but look at the "real" reviews of locals and you can get a better picture . seriously , spend your cash somewhere else for bbq . this is not the place !

Myself and a friend went in for lunch. 20 minutes later and no one ever even took are order for drinks. We observed 4 others walk in and be seated and waited on. Wow .......

Sat down to eat an early dinner ~ 4 p.m. There were three tables downstairs and a venue going on upstairs. The bartender was never behind the bar and wait staff conveyed they were not allowed to go into the bar. Waited 40 minutes for three 2-meat entrees. Had the smoked Mac for appetizer- AMAZING. Mac for entree side was watered down. Mashed potatoes were instant and served with burnt bottom. Very little meat given. Saw a patron almost fall on water on the floor, waitstaff notified and no one cleaned it up. Waitress was trying but disappointed in time and quality.

This place is a beautiful gem downtown. Please go! We moved here one year ago from Memphis, which is very well known for its bbq. We had been searching high and low for something close to our bbq. Smoke provided just that!! On top of that, Chris our waiter offered to let us tour the entire place. It has so many options for entertaining that we must return soon just to plan an event. Thank you smoke for giving us something that reminds of us home. See you soon!!

Service was slow and confused They were out of a number of items on the menu Food we were served was cold and the portions were rather small. Do not waste your time or money at this "restaurant".

Great food but poor customer service.I went to smokes for lunch. I asked the lady for takeout lunch. I got my lunch to go 25 minutes later. I went again for lunch the following week. I asked the lady that I wanted my lunch to go. She told me the bartender would be with me in a minute. 20 minutes later I asked lady where the bartender was at. The lady asked what I wanted. I told her that I wanted to order lunch to go. And then she said the bartender will be with me in few minutes. Five minutes later the bartender took my order. 15 minutes later I had my lunch to go. I thought it was just poor customer service both times I don't think I'm going there anymore. It sucks!

We came to Smoke on New Year's Eve while attending the Alamo Bowl. The place was packed. They were definitely prepared. There was staff all over the place. Our server Aaron was attentive and very energetic. We were seated immediately. Aaron greeted us and got our drinks quickly. We ordered and our food was out in less than ten minutes. It was fresh and hot. The Cadillac is one of the best BBQ sandwiches I have ever had. After we finished Chris took us on an amazing tour of the building showing us the basement bar and the "speak easy" at the bottom of the stairs. It was a great setting and we were all glad we chose to eat here. I will definitely come back again.

The restaurant was actually recommended by our hotel check-in, so we thought we would try it out, as it was within walking distance. Very good bbq, great mac & cheese! Very nice environment & the service was excellent from the greeter to our waiter. Would definitely recommend trying this place. It's also nice, as it wasn't overly crowded like the RiverWalk.

Went in for an early dinner. The deocr is very nice and the staff was friendly. The lean brisket was good but nothing to special. Same with the mack and cheese. The brussel sprouts...house pickles and jam were excellent.

This was our second attempt at dinner here. We tried about 10 months ago when they first opened and sat for 20 minutes without anyone so much as stopping by our table. We left without food. 10 months later the service hasn't improved much. Our waiter took 10 minutes to bring drinks after we ordered. It want busy. They were draft beers so it couldn't have been that difficult. Another 10 minutes after drinks before he took our order. We got the "special" that had brisket, pulled pork and chicken and a beef "dinorib". The Dino rib was the best thing on the table. The pulled pork was good but not remarkable. The Chicken had a good smoke flavor....but there is meat pink from smoke and meat pink because its undercooked. Yuck. The brisket, which ought to be a staple in a Texas BBQ restaurant, was inedible. Smoked hot and too fast, so fat wasn't properly rendered. We only saw our waiter twice after food was delivered by other staff - when we asked for bill and when he brought it back. It's pricey. Given the food and service it is not worth the money.

Great place on the river for a drink and people watching. Anthony and Christian were awesome. Did not eat there. So no food review. Expect to dig deep in your pockets to pay for drinks.

I recently ate at Smoke, I found out about this eatery while attending a conference in San Antonio. Staff is friendly and attentive Victor and Christina were just awesome! The restaurant was packed due to a couple of private functions so I chose to eat in the bar. I soon realized it was happy hour every hour till closing. A good selection of beer on tap and a decent selection of wines. The bar also offers $5.00 appetizers such as chicken wings, burnt ends, ribletts and frito pie..all were amazing. Unfortunately I did not manage to order their beef rib...it's one rib that customers were raving about. There is a speakeasy downstairs that you enter from the back alley. I also suggest you try it out. I decided to go back the second night this time with a party of eight people. Service staff was different and slow. One of our group waited over an hour for chicken wings and the beef rib was sold out again! The food was only OK this time I have to say I was disappointed with the service until the head bartender took over our table! He raised the service to a completely other level and we left satisfied but still felt that the food did not live up to the previous nights taste. Overall the burnt ends were amazing, the frito pie was tasty and the 420 burger was awesome. The wings were ok and the ribletts which were amazing one night were greasy the next. ...and still no beef rib!! I think I will give it one more try before I decide on if this place was a hit or a miss.

Great barbeque, affordable prices, strong drinks, great staff. The brisket cut like butter, melted in my mouth. Combo platter with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken was perfect size, juicy and flavorful on their own, but enhanced with a variety of sauces. The Korean was my favorite, spicy with a zing. Sides were good portioned. The Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes were a big hit. Sangria was fruity, peachy keen well balanced but potent. Great little find off the riverwalk. Our group loved it.

This spot is away from the Riverwalk crowd, and very easy to walk or drive to. I thought the BBQ brisket was excellent, as was the side of brussel sprouts that my waiter recommended. There were a couple TV's near the bar to enjoy a game, and they have a good selection of beers available.

We held a retirement party upstairs on the Palace Floor level with access to the balcony outside. It's designed to hold 220 people and it was pretty full with party goers. The cash bar was slightly limited, but a trip downstairs gave you lots of additional options - so, not a problem. The stuffed mushrooms and smoked deviled eggs were delicious and plentiful. We were able decorated and erect a photo booth in our Champagne Life theme. And Smoke created a signature drink for the retiree. The bathrooms were clean and well-stocked. At the end of the night, a smaller group of us was given access to the Ember Room, an exclusive hidden speakeasy VIP lounge with its awesomely designed secret door - I loved it!!

Not many choices for restaurants around Alamodome so we stopped here. Nice interior - looked liked it would be a busy bar stop at night. Lunch specials were listed on menu but we were told they were not available - strange!? I had grilled veggie dish that was very good but small for a dinner portion. My husband ordered 2-meat plate - sausage and brisket weren’t anything special. It was served with a single slice of plain white bread. Service was good but overall, not a place we’d seek out again.

I have no idea why I titled my review what I did but I decided to anyway!! I’ve been in San Antonio for the last three weeks and have wanted to have some of the OG southern BBQ items!! I told someone that if I gained 10 pounds during the camp it’s because of the BBQ!! I went here on my night off with two dudes before we went to Dave and Busters!! I got the ribs with Mac and cheese and corn and it fulfilled my soul!! I got a pineapple juice too which was good!! The waiter was cool and she forgot the pineapple juice on the receipt and when I told her she said it was ok so she saved me some money!!

Ordered food at the bar, was given a buzzer for food pickup, needless to say the buzzer never went off, when I told them, they just reheated the food sitting there from 20 minutes ago, drinks were over priced and not vet strong, stay away a lot of better places to eat, 2 drinks, 2 sandwiches and an app for $80 a rip stay away, not very clean either

We ordered the 2/3 meat platters and were delighted. Very Tasty BQ with generous portions and filling sides. Topped off the meal with a Texas Brownie sundae. Service with a smile!

This place is amazing. Cozy, fun atmosphere! The food is amazing and the BBQ is the best!! Get the banana pudding is amazing

My husband and I went here on the first night of our holiday after 20 hours of travelling. We wish we'd gone to bed hungry. Whilst back home we watch programs where people are unable to identify the meat they are eating and laugh. How can you be that stupid? We are now members of that club. We ordered Turkey and pulled pork and couldn't tell which was which but eventually came to the conclusion the kitchen screwed up as both dishes tasted kind of like turkey although we couldn't be 100% sure. None of the dishes tasted like they had been anywhere near any kind of smoke not even a whiff of cigarette smoke had been near this meat. The meat was also tough and the ribs had to be tugged off the bone. Nothing was falling anywhere except on the floor to avoid having to eat it. The restaurant is also undergoing some kind if renovation so any kind of talking was difficult. If this is Texas bbq then god help me the rest if the holiday as I shall be looking out for my nearest McDonald's.

Food was not good. Service was slow. Restaurant was recommended by an Uber driver when we arrived in town. Disappointed that we made the effort to check it out.

We tried to eat here at lunch on a weekend and the streets were packed with something happening at the Alamodome. They had drinks inside or food outside. We can back the next evening and had a good plate of BBQ

If you are in San Antonio, check out smoke, the restaurant, on East Commerce street. Great BBQ, unique appetizers, at a great price. Excellent service as well.

Was starving from my hotel room, and knew this restaurant was right around the corner. Ordered a burger with fries and they said it would be ready soon. By the time, I walked the block from my hotel, across the train tracks and into the restaurant, the burger was ready. Took it back to the hotel, and indulged. It was great, nothing bad to report about it!

Great service!! Daughter and I shared a 2 meat platter which shoulda done a 3 meat platter for sharing. Excellent food ! Real wood smoked meat.Great side salad. Gotta get the Burnt Ends for appetizer !

We stumbled upon this place, walking from our hotel to the riverwalk. We tried the bone marrow pretzel and deviled egg appetizers and the pit master choice and corned beef OX tongue. The flavors were absolutely wonderful. The six pack of sauces were all unique and flavorful You have to try the jarred pickles, specially the whisky spiced peaches. Very reasonable prices too.

It was not a great experience - waitress at bar not very welcoming - they ran out of all meats and food wasn’t good cold and overcooked - this could have been a one off moment but when we gave back the entire food not touched I thought out of courtesy the waitress could of asked about our dislike as it was obvious as nothing was touched

This is the third time I've been to this establishment for work functions. I will say the happy hour prices are good however the food prices are high. Especially for the cost. I paid $25 for one drumstick, half a slice of brisket, half a sausage link, and a little bowl of creamed corn. Wwaaayyyy overpriced! I was going to take my family there but for those prices forget it. Everyone was still hungry after the meal. Most of us went to another bar nearby and ordered some appetizers to fill us up.

was here for a business function and the food was so so and salty, there was nothing that stood out, maybe the brisket, service was so so wonder if better with individual service, i believe there is better choices

We went to this restaurant on a Sunday using a Groupon. It was pretty slow when we walked in and we were greeted immediately and seated. Our waiter was nice and friendly but it was all down hill from there. We ordered sweet tea, which as just like brown water. I tried unsweetened tea, which was still just like water. My husband and I both ordered the same thing - the meal that included brisket, sausage and chicken along with two sides. The food was just not very good. The sausage was very dry and the beans were terrible. The brisket was OK but not very good. The chicken was OK also but not very good. The entire meal left a lot to be desired.

I went to this location for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Although the menu primarily featured brunch items, there was a selection of smoked meats and sides available. I tried a sampler plate featuring brisket, sausage and pulled pork. I also ordered a small side of pork ribs. I was disappointed with the sausage and pulled pork. To me it seemed to be lacking the smokey taste and they were not particularly satisfying. The brisket was better. There was a noticeable ring of fire and the meat was juicy. The meat also had a stronger smokey taste, but not as strong as I would like. The pork ribs were the most satisfying dish. Good smokey taste with a nice bark finish on the outside. The meat was tender and easily came off the bone with each bite. For sides I had the cream corn and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were average. The cream corn was very good. It tasted and appeared to be freshly prepared. I was somewhat disappointed in the service. Initially my server took time to review the menu and promptly took my order. However from that until I finished my meal, he was difficult to find. It took about 15 minutes to get my drink and he never delivered the BBQ sauce for my order. He was more attentive after I finished my meal and needed a long awaited refill on my drink.

Went to San Antonio for part of our daughters graduation and was told to try The Smoke Restaurant. At first the hostess was warm and friendly. We were sitted and within a short amount of time our waiter approached the table. He was very informative and helpful. We placed our order, both my wife and daughter ordered an urban cowboy hamburger. I ordered the Texas fried chicken. We asked for an order of their bread basket and the problems started. This is a variety of different breads, one being a hush puppy. We tore it apart to find it was still under cooked in the middle. My fried chicken consisted of three pieces, two of which were still raw. I brought this to the attention of our waiter. Both pieces were taken back to the kitchen and after I had finished my meal, they returned. At this point I had my fill of this crappy food. On a more positive note, both hamburgers were made well and according to my family they enjoyed it. The bill was dropped off at our table and upon paying all I had was a $100 bill. The waiter was shocked and asked if I had anything smaller....wait a minute this is a Friday afternoon, the start of a weekend on the San Antonio Riverwalk and they can't break my large bill?? Ended up speaking with the manager, who acted like it was no big deal but took the chicken meal off. He broke the large bill and brought back my change which was not all there. If nothing else comes from this post, save your time and money and go else where. We will never eat at The Smoke restaurant ever again and hope to save other Trip Advisors from the same experience.

Do you ever go to a restaurant and get the vibe that something is not right? We loved Smoke The Restaurant in Stone Oak. Then something happened and chef Brian West left that location and was only at the downtown location. Did he leave this location as well? The service and food were not what we have come to expect from a Brian West venture. Places like Empress and Cafe Paladar bore his signature. This restaurant is little more than a Sysco drop off point for average barbecue. We came at 7PM on a Saturday and the downstairs dining area was closed for construction. Odd that they were sawing and other loud things at 7PM on a Saturday night. We were taken upstairs to a very empty dining room. No comfortable booths, just hard wooden chairs. The first thing I noticed was the menu was a paper trifold that had the Stone Oak location also listed. That closed a while ago. There were black marker lines through items they did not have. My wife asked for the wine list and we were told they don't have wine. What? Also no pig tails on the menu, another Brian West signature item. I ordered a Karbach beer from the menu and then was told tehy didn't have Karbach any longer. So I ordered a some brisket and turkey with a side of creamed corn. Later the waiter comes out and tells me they don't have any creamed corn. So I order the mashed potatoes. They were just average. Not topped with gravy or cheese, just parsley. Smoke used to offer 6 different BBQ sauces that were fabulous. Now they have 3 that are the consistency of a mopping sauce, not BBQ sauce. Maybe they water down the BBQ sauce to make it go farther. The smoked turkey was good, but the brisket was average. Nothing here stands out as above average. There are many great BBQ restaurants to choose from in San Antonio. Unfortunately Smoke has fallen off that list. We miss chef Brian West.

We were greeted with great enthusiasm and seated outside on the balcony per request. We told the staff we just had a Segway tour and the tour guide told us about this new BBQ place. Our waiter was overly friendly with us. He should have just sat down and had lunch with us. He hovered over us like an Polish grandma would. We got the pit master choice which is a selection of brisket, pulled pork and sausage and a few sides. The waiter brought out six different sauces and explained to us what each one was. Nice selection of BBQ sauce. However the meat came out on a tiny wooden cutting board in small portions no more than a couple mouthfuls. Ridiculous how small the portion was. The brisket was the best tasting from the 4 thin slices we got two were mostly fat. I guess this is an upscale BBQ/hipster/chic/pricey place to eat. Also no discount was given to us for mentioning the Segway tour like the guide told us. Lots of room for improvement at this place. Free parking down the street as long there is no events going on.

Vacation trip to San Antonio & wanted Texas BBQ. Stopped at Smoke because it’s near Best Western Plus on Commerce. Very modern place, lots of windows, seating in & outside. Food was great, as is the service with reasonable prices. Chris gave us tour of the upstairs banquet area & the unique lower bar & party rooms—what a great place!

My first time at this restaurant and loved the decor and atmosphere. We were given a tour of the rooms downstairs and immediately noticed the artistic murals on the walls. You'll love the coziness, people and the food and adult beverages are outstanding.

Okay, the burger is really good. The first time I tried the pitmasters choice, three thin pieces of fatty meat on a board for 15 dollars. The service is HORRIBLE, make sure you have plenty of time on hand to wait for everything and the barstaff seems perpetually irritated and put out with the customer. Cool concept, I can see it being good, but needs tweaking.

I have always wanted to eat at this restaurant, but didn't realize they had downtown location which is easier for me to get to. We went on Sunday during brunch and it was already crowded, but they can handle it. The restaurant is very large and can easily handle large groups. I had the chef's special which is a half pound of a variety meat. In my case it was pulled pork, brisket and chicken. My spouse had the bratwurst and we shared burn't end beans and fries. I was impressed with the quality and taste of the meats. Your waitperson will bring several different sauces to your table to try on your meats and they are delicious, as is everything else. Parking can be a hassle, but just follow the signs and it's free, you have to walk about 2 blocks.

Stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Sat in the bar order some apps and three meat and couldn't have been happier. Definitely recommend the briscuit quesadilla and the tots.

So I ordered a groupon for this restaurant about 3 weeks ago and decided to use it today. I called and asked the staff how to use it (online, in person or over the phone). The staff cut me off actually yelling that the groupon was for dine in only and they are not having dine in right now. Now it was quiet in his background (no customers as he said due to COVID19) so I didn't know why he was yelling. I let him finish then I told him that there were two options for the groupon (dine in or dine in/takeout...different purchase prices also) and that I had the take out groupon. He again interrupted me yelling that they "stopped doing groupons a year and a half ago when they took over the restaurant". I let him finish again and then told him that I had just bought the groupon less than a month ago so either they did not notify groupon over a year and a half later or groupon just refused to stop selling their groupons for some reason. He then yelled "well we don't take that groupon because it is for the regular menu and we don't have the regular menu right now". So I asked him if he could give me his name. He yelled "Adrian what's your name!" Every time I tried to say something after that he interrupted repeating the same phrase". Finally I asked for the manager's name and to speak to them because he was rude and loud and I wasn't sure why he had been yelling since he got on the phone because there was no background noise and I had barely been able to talk at all. He cut me off saying "oh yea his name is Adrian!". I said you are the manager and you are acting like this? He said yea I am the manager what else do you want? I told him I would just contact Groupon instead because obviously the leadership at this establishment and is only leading its staff to have horrendous customer service skills and show a lack of integrity when it comes to coupons, deals, etc.

On a short notice for a large increasing party reservations, the manager did everything they could to accommodate. When arriving early, JASON our server jumped into actions and throughout service was on his toes to making sure we had the best service. Jason was so ahead in thinking, not once did we have to wait, remind him or request additional food or drinks. I would by far recommend this place for either a small dinner to large party. From service to food, this place is great!! I look forward to having another dinner or lunch party here.

Came to San Antonio for a conference. We went to this place because it was within walking distance to our hotel. Took a minute to find out where to get food, ordered, got our food, and went outside to sit down. The music was SUPER loud. We could barely have a conversation across the table. There was a play area where kids were running around, but that was not really an issue. The food itself was not bad for the price. Can't say I would seek the place out again, but it was not terrible.

We were at a basketball State Championship in the Alamodome and Smoke was within walking distance so we gave it a try. Our first server was excellent but apparently ended his shift while we were still at our table. The 2nd server was kind of thrown into us late in the meal, but she did an admirable job under the circumstances. For an appetizer we had the tater tot and brisket poutine. I never would have ordered this item, but the server highly suggested it. I am so glad I took his advice. This was an awesome dish and the fried egg on top truly made everything come together perfectly. For my main dish I took the servers advice again and had the Urban Cowboy BBQ Burger with a side of fries and macaroni and cheese. Another excellent recommendation and their skillet mac-n-cheese is fantastic. I would definitely recommend you try this restaurant.

Do not waste your time, stay away this is the worst BBQ we have ever had . Ordered sausage tacos with a side of beans , the tacos consisted of a piece of sausage in a soft flour shell no cheese onions or anything else. The beans reminded me of refried beans that weren’t mashed, we have had beans at plenty of places & were never like that . Also over priced, if you are in San Antonio go to Pinkertons they are twenty times better than smokes!!

Delicious! Recommended to us by Willis at the Marriott Rivercenter. It did not disappoint. The meat was tender and moist. The BBQ sauces complimented nicely. The Mac and cheese side was creamy and stayed warm throughout dinner. It was big enough to share. The atmosphere has a nice modern feel. It is a little off the beaten path in downtown San Antonio, but worth the walk!

I love this place and wish they still had the location on the far north San Antonio. They were out of the Dino rib when we came by. That was disappointing, but the brisket and pork ribs were still great. Even the Bad Hunter plate for vegetarians was awesome. Mashed potatoes are good. Baked chicken is amazing. You can also never gone wrong with bacon. Deviled eggs rock!!! We will be back.

Food was great! Assortment of 6 different kinds of barbecue sauces and you put on what you like. Had pitmaster's special and was brisket, chicken, pulled pork and 2 sides. Brought some home it was so much food. All smoked meat was tender and amazing. Price reasonable-$12.00

Awesome dinner for 16 people! We had the barbecue feast with brisket, pulled pork, beef sausage, chicken, and many great sides. Banana pudding was also wonderful! Adrian and his staff served us family style and everyone loved it! The bar called ashes in the basement was also beautiful! Everyone loved their drinks too, especially the home made martinis and rum runners.

My company hosted an event at Smoke.. What an event it was! Great food! Great atmosphere! Great service! We had guests from Miami, Columbia, Canada, California and Texas.. Hands down they said this was the best BBQ they have had in Texas. Thank you Adrian and staff for an awesome night of food, atmosphere!

Okay place with nice decor. It has potential. Very slow night with only three tables being served and our food came out lukewarm. Not a typical BBQ place with too much food served, which I actually liked since we all tend to overeat! I had the meatloaf but since it was lukewarm, I can't give an opinion if it was good or bad. The burnt end beans were okay but not outstanding. Same with the other four people. I might try it again next year when I come back for a conference downtown. Prices are lower than the River Walk area so I think it is an option when staying at the downtown Grand Hyatt or Marriotts since it is an easy walk. Just go with lowered expectations so there's a better chance of not being disappointed.

Stopped by while looking for a less crowded restaurant near the convention center on a Friday night. Food was all fantastic, and the service was excellent.

We went here because my son liked the one that was in Stone Oak and it closed. Same restaurant, but not the same quality food. The cheese dip a glumpy (like could be cut) and the chips were stale. Wings were served cold and had to be recooked. We expected smoked wings, but these were frozen/fried and not good wings. They were not served with carrots/celery. The hamburger was tasty, but way over cooked. The brisket had gristle, and came out cold. The mac and cheese was just okay. The only thing that was decent was the turkey. Very disappointing. We told the manager how bad our experience was and he gave us 15% off -- which was nothing considering how much of our food we didn't eat. Would never return -- wish we would have read the reviews first.

Was staying at the Staybridge Suites nearby and came for takeout bbq. Was surprised at the quality, quantity and price of food. Really good bbq. Had chopped burger, hamburger and cole slaw as a side. All very good and hit the spot. Waited at bar for order and they had a nice selection of draft beer. Restaurant was not crowded for a Saturday early evening and wait was normal for food. Food came out fresh and hot and tasty. Would definitely recommend in in the area

The restaurant was across the street from my hotel on the outskirts of downtown San Antonio. The atmosphere was old fashioned western. The service was good and the food very good. I had brisket BBQ and it was tender and cut be cut with a knife but not over cooked. The sides of fried onion rings and macaroni and cheese were very good.

Acknowledging that everyone in the south thinks there town has the best BBQ. But I have eaten a lot of places and this one is jus ok. Not spectacular. Maybe it's my age but I did not care for the piped in music. Go on my nerves. But seems to be a hot spot for young professionals.

We had a poor experience with the manager. We wanted to do take out and he refused to let us. We had 2 children with us. He said they had a shortage of takeout containers. I have never heard of such a thing where nothing can be substituted such as foil or a large styrofoam cup. We arrived at 7 pm and were served our food at 9 pm. We had a 40 min.wait to be seated, a long wait to have someone take our order and another long wait to receive our food which came at various times. The food was only warm. Our waitress was friendly and the meat was good(brisket). We did not care for any of the sides. Overall the price is on the expensive side for what you get. I was totally disappointed in the manager who could have cared less about our wait. Incidentally we left with 2 takeout containers, supposedly the last 2. They would have been more useful for our original request than a few leftovers.

It truly depends on what your perspective is. BUT my wife and 10 year old daughter were regulars at the Sonterra location PRIOR to Chef West leaving. The place was OFF THE CHAIN!! Meaning incredible, delectable, spectacular! Now.. it’s just another place in San Antonio. Good atmosphere so to speak, but for food, I’d take the BBQ Station over it now. Before - yes you had to pay and arm and a leg, BUT boy was it worth it!!! It was TOP END BBQ, two words you don’t usually use when referencing a BBQ place. Oh well ... things change.

Solid food. Great service, and a secret bar underneath. The staff was very friendly, and the food was EXCELLENT.

Up a short flight of stone steps from the Riverwalk, we had a good lunch & a refreshing beer here. Order at one register for your food, at another spot up a couple of steps for your beer. A couple of steps up are big loungey chairs on Astroturf, while diners eat a couple of steps down at bar-height tables or under umbrellas overlooking a bend in the Riverwalk. Smoked chicken on a good, soft bun, with side of pickles, BBQ sauce & mustard-inflected potato salad, washed down with a nice sized can of Dos Equis while enjoying the view of the Riverwalk down below made the perfect lunch.

My colleague and I were getting ready to leave San Anotonio after a conference and needed to fuel ourselves up for the road. We slipped into this restaurant becuase it was near our hotel. Boy were we glad we did! She had the pork sliders and fried brussel sprouts, and I had a brisket sandwich and French fries. The fried brussel sprouts ended up stealing the show. They were so fresh, cooked to perfection, and seasoned with just a touch of salt and pepper. I think everything else was good too, but we were so busy trying to figure out when we might get back to get more brussel sprouts that the rest was a blur. The wait staff was very friendly- we ate in the bar because they offered happy hour prices all day- which we didn't end up taking advantage of.

There is free parking down the street as long there are no events happening in the area.

I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you love barbecue. (I'm not really a meat-eater, but I even caved in to try their smoked turkey.) My friends and I actually visited this place 3 times in less than a week because the food was so darn good. Our first visit we had amazing, attentive staff, and great food...everything from appetizers to entrees to dessert. We loved it so much that we returned. The second time, there were some issues with service and we spoke with the manager to express our concerns; she promised to 'take care of us' if we visited again. So we did visit with another group, but despite saying "hello again" to the manager, the service was spotty. So in short, go eat here; but hope you have the A-list waitstaff.

Initial impression wasn’t great, due to the hostess being very rude. However, the food was great. My husband had a two meat plate and I have the veggie plate (bad hunter). The meat was tender and all the veggies were extremely well cooked. Don’t miss out on the charred sweet potatoes! Our server was also very friendly!

Ok food, service not as good. Went there on a Sunday evening. Not too many dinners. Service was quick but a little weird. No real effort to cater to us. The food was pretty good, plenty of options. Prices a bit high but acceptable. Lots of TVs.

My friend had a 50th birthday party here and I tell you that Smoke is totally freakin awesome!!! We had great service from the bartender and all the staff. We had over 100 people at the party and everyone had a great time. The food was awesome, fresh, & super tasty! The atmosphere was great, we had a DJ and partied for hours. I believe this place is worth the visit. The brisket was moist but not fatty. The smoked chicken was super flavorful. The turkey was good but the rub seasoning was a bit salty but... still good. Once again our service was great...

We were heading to the Alamo Dome for a ball game and wanted something more than stadium food. Smoke is right near Sunset Station and near the dome. It also helped that we had eaten at the other Smoke off Sonterra. Since we had eaten the excellent brisket and burgers before, we both opted to try something new. We both chose the fried cod with shrimp. It was quite good with the traditional Smoke fries and cole slaw as sides. I might have rated our meal higher but they did not have tarter sauce available (only cocktail sauce) and when she asked for vinegar for the fries she was brought vinaigrette dressing. All-in-all we enjoyed our meals and the service.

Went for lunch. This newer place was not very busy, but they deserve to be, as well worth it. Started with a shared appie of burnt ends. Phenomenally delicious. We each had the lunch ‘Que sandwich special. Normally comes with fries but server Christopher had no problem subbing for beans. Served on a perfect bun with requisite pickles and onion. Have to have margaritas, 6 each.

As a former employ of this place, I would just like to make sure people who are looking for a genuine Texas B-B-Q experience should not go here. The brisket is pretty good thanks to a competent pit master, but the sides are all from cans and not worth the price tag they are sold for. Management is very lax and will not care about issues unless they know you personally or you're spending more than $200 when you are walking through the door.

There are three levels to this venue, and I was at a private party on the third floor. All of the parking near this venue is $15, which is not bad at all if you are staying at a hotel with free parking, which was my case. Most things downtown San Antonio is overpriced, including the parking, because it is a tourist trap. I was at Smoke on a Friday night, and I was surprised that except for the private party I attended, it was almost empty. Perhaps this venue makes most of its money during basketball season. The valet parking directly across from this venue is ideal, and there is an outside elevator that raised me to the second floor. The appetizers at the party, deviled eggs, and fried stuffed mushrooms are competent, nothing special, just ok. The kabob with rice was room temperature when served, yet tasty. Because there were over 100 people upstairs, the small men's room forced me to a nicely appointed basement entertainment level. The building upgraded and restored superbly.

Wonderful and excellent service! Thanx AJ! Nestled around the old train station district with a beautiful atmosphere. Staff was great, thanx Chef Ricardo! Food was delicious. Had the beef Rib and Dr Pepper Pork ribs and they were both perfect. The fried Brussel Sprouts are a fav. If you like chicken livers even a little bit give them a try. Fried to perfection with a home made Jalepeno Jelly! Homemade pickles? DELISH! DON'T MISS THIS PLACE!

The Concierge at the hotel recommended Smoke for some good BBQ and especially their brisket. We went in for a late lunch and opted to sit in the bar. It took nearly 15 minutes before we were greeted and then it was by a harried bartender who seemed to care less that we were there. We ordered acouple appetizers and meals. The apps took more than 20 minutes to come out and were average at best. The crispy pigs tails were flavorless and super fatty, the poutine was bland and not warm. The main course was worse. The brisket was tender but bland and had no smoke rings at all, the beans were bland and the brisket chunks were all fat. One redeeming thing was the bacon, it was good and easily the best thing we ordered. Overall the experience was bad and totally not worth our time or money.

I believe in giving anything a second chance and in this case a third. My mistake as Smoke continues to be the worst Bar BQ I have ever had. The brisket (the most important item in a Texas Bar BQ restaurant) is a disaster and this restaurant only survives due to the conventioneers not knowing any better.

Good portions not overly so. The smoking of meat was great. Loved the Brusslesprouts. The only issue I had (why only 4) is I like having a choice between lean and moist brisket. Also my service was .... slow. Once ordered food came out fast.

Went on a slow Monday evening. Really good special on margaritas. We has pulled pork, brisket and ribs. All were served hot and fresh. Only complaint is that the servings could have been a bit larger for the price charged. Bartender was a bit slow making drinks for us since she was also taking food orders at the bar. Our food was delivered before we got our drinks. Overall I would go back when visiting San Antonio in the future.

Loved the atmosphere its a lot bigger than originally thought. We sat at the bar, the bartender very attentive and welcoming. We ordered an app very slow coming out like 35-40mins for not being too busy. A little disappointing since we were in a little of a hurry but all in all wings were good and I would recommend giving it a try.

I wanted Ribs but they were out, so I got chicken and brisket. The brisket was excellent! Margarita was also divine. Wish you could pay for food and bar tab all at once but overall this was really good food. I had to get a doggie bag, as it was too much for one. Good atmosphere and TVs for the game in your own booth.

Beautiful location for travelers either visiting the Alamodome for an athletic event or exploring the developing side of downtown east of IH37. Interior nicely done. My particular visit had a couple of problems. The salad served was missing a key ingredient listed in the menu and when I returned home with the sausage takeaway, I was startled to discover their sausage entree consisted of 5 thinly sliced pieces-perhaps a couple of ounces in total. Not sure if it was a BBQ joint's attempt at nouvelle cuisine?

We were able to walk to the restaurant from the Marriott San Antonio Riverwalk. The service was great and deserves our compliments. My husband is a big fan of Barbeque, especially Texas Barbeque. He enjoyed the beef brisket with mac and cheese, which was declared exceptional. I had the barbeque chicken with coleslaw - delicious! We will definitely go back on our next trip to Texas.

We had a birthday dinner a group of 10, we were seated in the back area it was a little warm but they got the air conditioner crank down. Our servers and wait staff or good the food came out as well as expected it was good. The manager came out and gave us some complimentary drinks for the toast for the birthday. The prices were reasonable you do have to pay for parking in the area whether it be public parking across the street at a dollar 80 an hour or $10 for the valet

The food was great, we went back twice. I had the brisket sandwich for lunch and my wife had the nachos. Also went for happy hour for margarites and chips and queso (which was better then the nachos) Hostess was not real attentive, on her phone a lot and we had to go over to get her attention.

My colleagues and I were there on a conference at the convention center and we didn't want to eat at any of the place on the river walk due to the inflated prices. Smoke the Restaurant was highly recommended. It was a 10 minute walk from the convention center. The food was pretty good, but the service messed it up a little. We sat at the bar area so I'm unsure if that made a difference. Nevertheless if I was extremely hungry I'd go back again. The trout and the burnt ends were pretty good. We went twice and service was slow, but I still say check it out.

The beef short ribs are to die for! The other food items are so-so: cauliflower with cheese, grilled sweet potato, mac & cheese with bacon and the pickled beets were too sour. Another rail is needed on the left side of the entry for disabled patrons. There is only one rail on the right side leading up to the stairs, which there is nothing else to hold onto trying to get to the restaurant main floor upon entry to the restaurant. The staff and servers are polite and the manager is very nice, I have met him twice and spoken to him twice.

Great food, music, service & environment. They even have specialty drinks. Ask for Raul he is amazing he will take care of you!!

Good place for lunch & shoutout to V badass bartender thanks for the free shots and the drinks are great.. i’ll be back soon! :)

I do not recommend this BBQ restaurant, the meat was cold and mac/cheese was not cooked properly. I informed the waiter about our food and he attempted to make it right. Although the second attempt brisket was warm, it was dry and hard to eat. Then an acting manager I'm assuming since he did not introduce himself he simply inquired about the food. I told him about our experience and he did nothing about it. Most restaurants would compensate you for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this place nor do I plan to return.

The food was very good, but..... We had a reservation for 10 people at 6:30 on a Friday night. The place was empty. That should have been our first clue. The waitress said it was only her second day on the job. The very inexperienced manager should never have given her a table of 10 to assist. Took forever to get our drinks. Was told they dropped the first tray. Was also told by the waitress they didn't serve wine, only to see others with wine 1/2 hour later. I had a mediocre at best margarita. Food came out sporadically and cold, and several people had to ask for their sides multiple times. One in our party asked about getting a discount for the mixup, and the manager said he wouldn't make it right-- "they don't give away free food." Like I said, when we did get our food, it tasted very good. We're from out of town, so I won't be returning to the restaurant. However, even if I did live in the area, they would lose my business. The place has a lot of potential--just needs a more mature and experienced manager and seasoned staff.

This place makes amazing BBQ! Jessi took excellent care of us, making our experience even more enjoyable. We got a three meat platter to try several BBQ options and were impressed with all.

We visited Smoke after purchasing a Groupon and really enjoyed the food there. It is listed as a BBQ place but is really more upscale than most. We ate in the upstairs dining room and at an odd hour so they were not busy at all. The food was really good across the board as was the service. The only issue we experienced was redeeming the Groupon but after several attempts the server got it right and everything worked out. This restaurant is real close to The Alamodome and we walked to it from the River Walk/ Tower of Americas area and it was a nice walk.

I visited Smoke on a Sunday afternoon. We had a party of 7. The food was excellent. I ordered the 3 meat (brisket, ribs and pulled pork) with mac and cheese and fried brussel sprouts. I was stuffed but worth it!!

Tried this place last night due to google reviews. They must be fake or paid. The brisket was so-so but had zero flavor. Chicken was meh, too dry. Ribs? Bland, tasteless and overcooked. Dry. The sauce was watery and generic. The ONLY saving grace to the meal were the sides I tried. The beans and green beans were edible. I seriously didn't want to eat the meat and had to douse it with the watery sauce to eat it. I will NOT recommend this place. For drinks? Maybe. Food? No.

The food was above average, presentation poor. The cutting board used allowed the unlabled BBQ sauce to drip off the surface, and leak between the table slats onto my leg. The one waiter was overwhelmed by a small group of guests.

Stopped in for dinner during the week. Ordered to go. Portion size was pretty small for bbq restaurants..burnt ends were ok, needed a bit more charring. Sauce was great.

They have some really good chicken fried steak. Nice portion size and good price if you get it from the lunch special menu. Definitely worth trying

We were seated fairly quickly with dirty menus. The we were 'warned' by wait staff that there were several events booked. Our dos xx's draft beers were very slow to arrive in Freetail glasses.lol. I can't recommend Brisket Queso appetizer. Chips were greasy and half cooked. A few strips of brisket. Chicken fried chicken was much better.

Smoke has become one of my favorite places in town. Really great food and an excellent happy hour menu. The bartenders are always friendly and super helpful.

We stopped for lunch on a Friday around 12:30 in the afternoon. We had a group of 11, so we were prepared to be patient since we didn't have reservations. As it turned out, the other half of our party didn't arrive until after 1 pm so the place wasn't busy at all, so they have NO excuses for the piss poor food and service we received. Our waitress was Keisha and this lady knew nothing about anything. Pushed the family meal for $150 on us when it wouldn't have been near enough food, forgot the appetizers the entire meal, even though we literally inquired about them 10 times, and couldn't answer simple questions about ingredients or preparation. The food itself was abysmal. Signature cauliflower side was simply gross, the creamed corn had no flavor, the brisket was tough and tasted terrible, my daughter's burger simply fell into a million pieces when she picked it up because it was SO overcooked. The mac cheese was dry, the pulled pork was nothing but fat, and the chicken was ok, but inconsistent: I could eat mine, but 2 others spit it out on the plate after the first bite. The only edible thing we were served was the fries. Also, they were out of a number of things, which was extremely frustrating. They weren't even busy enough to run out of anything. Our meal was nearly 300 with the forced tip, for plates of the worst food I've eaten. Stay away, far away.

The whole experience was awesome. Server was knowledgeable on the whole menu and assisted us with selections. Food was delicious!

I visited this restaurant on a Friday night and surprisingly it was half empty. Atmosphere: The restaurant appears to be a recent remodel of one of San Antonio's old buildings. It is beautiful and has a ton of character. Service: We were a party of 5 with a reservation. Upon entering the hostess tells us "Hold on I need to go find menus." When she finally sat us she only provided 3 menus and stated, "you can share right?" We were not greeted by our server for over 10 minutes. He was given a party of 10 just after taking our order so we were quickly forgotten and our glasses were empty throughout the night. Food: Mexican corn: Arrived cold (including the cast iron skillet) and had to be sent back Cream of roasted Poblano and avocado soup: Cold and had to be sent back Veggie plate (cauliflower, sweet potato, & Brussel sprouts): Sprouts were fried and really good. The cauliflower however was steamed without any seasoning so it was just ok. Pit Masters Choice: All items were Luke warm at best. Pulled pork was actually delicious, tender and juicy. Brisket was also moist and tender with good flavor. The chicken was not cooked all the way (very pink in the middle) and would not pull off the bone. Coleslaw: Lacked spices was had way to much mayo Mac & Cheese: This was also only Luke warm although it tasted pretty good and was a very large portion. Overall disappointing experience!!

Our hotel staff recommended this restaurant for great ribs. We found them to be average at best - a lot of fat for baby backs. One of us had the brisket sandwich - fatty and chewy. While at dinner they turned up the music loudly. A DJ came over and asked if it was too loud and we said a little hoping he would turn it down some - he didn’t. Their wines were terrible. In today’s market where many people enjoy wine they need to put a little more effort into picking better wines to serve.

The food was delicious and they have a great atmosphere. I don't frequent downtown much, but will definitely come back. Make sure and try the prawnzilla's!

Don’t forget to ask for an itemized receipt when closing your tab. I was overcharged and keep getting the runaround trying to resolve the issue with someone who says he’s the owner.

Ordered fried chicken with potatoes, it had a great flavor and was very filling for me. Tea was fantastic. Started with frito pie snack which was good. Husband said margaritas were strong so he was not able to finish a second one. Service was normal.

Why I will never spend another $ in Smoke Skybar. Went to Siclovia. Stopped in Smoke Skybar for lunch and to watch the K State / Kentucky women’s Basketball game. Took 3 people to figure out how to get the game on ESPN. With 1.5 min left in overtime, bar manager changed channnels. We hollered to change it back and were told we needed to “check our attitude, that we were disrespectful” and that they “didn’t change it on purpose”. Not sure how you change a channel and then tell me it isn’t on purpose. They changed it to TBS. Told me if I didnt “shut up” they would ask me to leave. No need to ask m. Really? If you aren’t friends with bar manager you get no attention. Last $ spent.

We went here due to a Groupon offer and boy are we glad we did! Amazing food! Had the 420 bbq brisket sandwich and it was devine. The jalapeño relish was the best I’ve ever had. The cream cheese could have been a little smoother as it looked like it was cut from a block of Philadelphia cream cheese. Margarita was strong and delicious. Try the charred sweet potato you won’t regret it. Hubby had the 2 meat platter and the mac and cheese was plain but he liked the pulled pork. The brisket could've been a little more tender. Food came out as quick as can be expected and the waitress let us know when something was coming out beforehand. I'm not sure if they've improved the service but for an early Saturday evening, we did not feel like we waited too long or had inattentive people. In fact, at least 3 people came over to say hi or ask us if we needed anything besides our waitress. Maybe they've seen the reviews and the service has improved as a result? So glad we gave this restaurant a chance!

We were originally going to go on Mother's Day, but my husband called to ask a question and he was told that they were totally booked. We went Monday night instead. The decor is just amazing, and worth a trip just to see it! Our waiter, Jesse, promptly came to our table and told us about the menu, and explained there were some items that they were out of. We ordered drinks and appetizers (deviled eggs and the tater tots), which were both great! My husband ordered the Pit Master's Choice, which was chicken, pork and brisket with Mac and Cheese and fries for his sides. My granddaughter had Chicken Fried Chicken and it was delicious. I had the Acadian Dusted Trout with Jalepeno marmalade, also delicious and very spicy. It is served on top of creamed corn which is so good, and cools the spice down a bit. We also ordered the skillet cornbread served with Rosemary butter, and it was really good! The service from Jesse was just outstanding. We had a great time!

We were in town for an event at the Alamodome and tried to grab dinner at 5:30 on Saturday. We waited an hour for a table and then were told the food would be another 45 minutes. There were many empty tables and not a line. The staff told us they didn’t know there would be an event (annual marching competition same weekend every year) at the dome, which is one block away. There was nobody running the front of the house and it was obvious. When we finally got food it wasn’t bad and fortunately the beer was good. It looked like a place in desperate need of engaged senior management. I hope for their sake they change something or they won’t be in business long.

I hadn't really heard of this restaurant until I had registered for a bridal event there. I went and was completely surprised at the amazing ambiance and décor. I loved the style and atmosphere. At the event we were able to have some lunch and it was amazing. The brisket was so tender and moist. The sides complemented it even more. Adrian, the owner came by and was so down to earth and friendly. His contributions to the city and our youth only makes us want to frequent his restaurant more. He gave us a personal tour of the establishment and didn't leave any part out. We loved it so much we decided to have him cater lunch for the firm I work for. Again he went above and beyond. The food and presentation was amazing. We are considering booking our Christmas party and other office events here. We can't wait. Smoke is a great place for a get together of any size and they have amazing food that is sure to make your event a hit.

Walked in, took them a minute to acknowledge us and then finally got around seated. We were told our server Geo would be with us shortly and there we sat waiting at least 15 minutes for him to come by our table. Once we saw who he was we recognized he was one of the ones fooling around in customer view. Food was cold. He was rude never coming back. Waste of time

We went there by mistake because the menu featured on the hotel magazine were no longer valid. Any how, we still dined there to give it a try. The menu carried typical pub food, with big portion and small price tag. As you have been to any pub, usually finger food in deep fried version for most items on the menu. To our surprise, they have the most healthy house salad with quinoa, baby pork ribs without grease, chargrilled brussel sprouts and even the iced tea were unsweetened. The fries and wings were not overly seasoned and greasy. Excellent value for your money at under $40 for the entire dinner for 2. Once again, if you are in San Antonio for a convention, show your badge as they gave 15% discount with good service!
Blah
Went here because hotel gave us a coupon for free appetizer. We walked here from hotel and it is in an area that looks like they are really trying to make better. The appetizer was queso with brisket and chips. We ordered 3 meat plate to share with sausage, chicken and pulled pork with a side of smashed potatoes, veggies and Caesar salad. Salad came out before appetizer and it was a small salad. Queso was next and it was just plan at best. Meats came and they were dry and not good flavored. Smashed potatoes and veggies were ok. It was a little on the expensive side for the small portions. I guess they do have a good bar scene from all the people drinking but not good on the food side. Won’t eat here again.
