Will be back!

By sedonahiker96 |

Friendly service, great pizza (I got the wild mushroom) and the house red wine vinaigrette salad dressing was fabulous!! The pizza crust is perfection. Wished I'd saved room for a Joy macaroon ice cream sandwich - they looked delicious. We definitely return!

Just like the other reviews, outstanding!

Went to Social Pie tonight with a friend who lives in Dallas. I wanted us to go eat someplace cool and Social Pie was THAT place! Ordered two pizzas - the arugula sausage and the four cheese pies. Both were awesome. Four cheese was thick with cheeses. You order at the counter and then get a table and wait to be served. Larada was our server and super friendly to make sure we had what we want. My friend and I had a long convo and we never felt pressure to leave. Refreshingly good pizza at a great price point. Easy to get to off the Inwood exit on 35E. With they had a Social Pie in the town I live in!

Excellent but pricey

A group of coworkers accompanied me here for lunch while in the area for a training. We all agreed the salads and pizza were tasty with fresh ingredients. The service was friendly and courteous and the owner even came over and spoke with us personally. The decor is eclectic with garage doors opening to a small patio. Our only complaint was the price. The lunch special consisted of a side salad, slice of pizza and drink for $10. I would definitely return here to try some of their extensive beer collection however.

Great pizza-easy atmosphere

With a family member at the Med center we all went here for a quick family meal. We had a baby, a 4 year-old and a 6 year-old. Besides the regular tables there was a couch and coffee tables. The kids managed their pizza at the table and then played while the adults talked. The pizza, the salad and the beer were all great. Would definitely recommend.

Great go to place

My friend and I stop here occassionally since we work in the area. They have great weekly specials and their food and drinks are great. They support local beer and wine companies which is great. A must stop. Rachelle is great and always a pleasure to serve us.

Pizza delivery to CiderCade

By Arthur Seago |

We had a pizza delivered to us at the CiderCade. The staff at CiderCade recommended them. Not only was the delivery quick, the pizza was assume. Try the meaty pizza! The box even turns into 4 plates to eat off of!

Laid back & chill with good pizza. I liked that they have local 🍺!! I enjoyed the "crack berry" bishop cider Will definately be back!!!

AWESOME place, food, service and concept!!!

AMAZING pizza. Super fresh ingredients, extraordinary quality cheese, cooked to perfection! Love the crust and the way they coat it in a secret spread! The chocolate cakes dessert is LEGIT and not to be skipped. BONUS: it's even gluten free!!! Javier (one of the owners) was SUPER friendly and welcoming. He came over and told us how we get a bottlecap for buying the pizza and we use it to vote for 1 of 3 features charities by dropping it in the jar associated with the charity. A % of the monthly proceeds then get donated to the charity with the most caps. How cool is that?!?! Pizza for a good cause, sign me up!

I can't get enough

By AliseUntamed |

I've had their pizza and wings almost every weekend for over a month, and I can't get enough. SOOO delicious. My cat even loves the pepperoni. So unique and delicious, class act meal. So blessed to have this close by. Friendly delivery people. I love trying their desserts too, just as delicious as the pizza and wings.

Good pie

Stopped in after wife’s appointment at UTSW that left us in rush hour traffic. First time here. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Sat at the bar & socialized with those that live in the area. Got the margarita pizza. It was very good and the basil was very fresh. They have freshly sliced parmigiana available upon request which is a nice touch. Good selection of local craft beer. Also tried a slice of pepperoni; slice was very generous and delicious. Thought pricing was fair. Will make plans to stop here again in future. Nice find and would recommend.

Yummy pizza

We actually live close to the neighborhood, but were on our way back into town from Austin and looking for a good place to try for pizza. We've been sorely disappointed with the options in the neighborhood. We were happy to find this gem. Pizza was great, ingredients fresh and service friendly. Prices were reasonable and the 14" was (more than) filling for my wife and I.

Great place

Come here a lot. It’s close to my friends. The beer and food they have is great. Service is very friendly

I had no pizza for 6 years and theirs didn't disappoint

By AliseUntamed |

So due to health and allergies, I haven't had pizza for 6 years. If you haven't experienced this, it's hard not to build up what food would taste like in your head. Sometimes it's better in your head than real life. That was not the case here. First, we ordered their buffalo chicken wings. WOW! How do they get such flavor without a ton of syrup and crap? It was simple but the most flavorful I've ever had. Next, the pizza. A gluten free crust, with pepperoni, onion and pepper mix, and garlic oil sauce (I'm still working on my tomato allergy). WOW... WOW... WOW. It was so delicious my hubby wouldn't give up the wings to share more with me, and I could have eaten the whole pizza myself but opted for the dainty lady like fashion and saved some to enjoy the following day. So glad I found this place. We agreed to make it a monthly event, pizza and a movie at home cuddling.. with our pizza, I mean... each other. :-)

Good pizza...Good service...Cool venue

By Olineman |

Ordered takeout from here while staying at a nearby hotel. Had their meat pizza and the toppings tasted great! Pizza was ready in about 15 minutes. Service was friendly and welcoming. The only regret was that I wish we could have stayed and had a few beers. They had a large selection of local brews and the open air atmosphere was clean and inviting. Next time Im in the area, I'll go back and eat it there!

A really great pizza place.

By BigRobTexas |

A really great pizza place. Very fresh ingredients. Friendly service. I had a Caesar sharable salad with the meaty meat pizza. All excellent.

Delicious!

By Christopher H |

I recently moved within walking distance of this place and I absolutely love it. The pizza is delicious and they have a great craft beer selection. They do brunch pizza on the weekends and host little craft beer events every few weeks. The people that work there are awesome and extremely friendly. I look forward to coming back here again and again!

Great food good atmosphere!

By Greenvilledan |

Ask about the specials! They have lunch and brunch “bundles” and “happy hour” specials. They have $9 salads which are “family style” and are meant to be shared. We ordered a lunch deal which included a small salad, two slices of pizza and a drink for $9.99. We got our drinks immediately and our salads came out quickly. The small salads were excellent and were served with delicious homemade dressings (white balsamic and red wine balsamic). The pizza was delicious! Very thin crust, and very tasty. We had pepperoni and meaty meat pizza. The two slices were so good (one quarter of a 14 inch pizza), but if you are hungry get a full pizza. This is a self service place. After the food is delivered you are on your own. We were here on a beautiful day and the atmosphere was Social and busy. I shall return!

Had their margarita pizza - delicious! Caprese salad was just as good. Would definitely go back for more pies!

Great pizza crust

By russkwtx |

We ventured here for a Saturday night dinner. I really liked the ambience and vibe of this place, casual and relaxing. The service was really friendly and the pizza came out in lightning speed. Positives: the pizza crust was excellent, easily among the best I've tried in Dallas. The sauce was not acidic at all. Nice selection of craft beers. If they ask if you want parm cheese, it is the real stuff, not the grated stuff from a jar. Negatives: the caprese salad was basically a mound of arugula and since I am not a big fan of arugula it was not among my favorite caprese salads. The pepperoni was super salty, so much so that we ended taking the pepperoni off and just eating the cheese and crust. My craft beer was $11 for a pint, the most I have ever paid for a pint of beer in the USA. It was good, but not worth $11. Overall, we really liked the place and are open to returning.

Thes “craft” pizzas are wonderful!

By Greenvilledan |

Thes “craft” pizzas are wonderful! We ordered a half Meaty Meat and half Texican. If the sauces are different, you have to choose one sauce. Both were spectacular! A regular pizza is 14 inches. You can also buy a slice of pizza. On different days they have different slice specials. You can also build your own pizza. The crust is thin and delicious ! There is a selection of artisan sandwiches, salads and desserts. They also offer vegetarian and gluten free options. They have a large selection of wine and a constantly changing selection of craft beers.

Nice place to eat pizza, they have beers also and other spirits. No so expensive. Not to many people.

Needs Help

By WarriorChik-Traveler |

I have tried to like this place. The service is poor. I mean every time I visited. Slow... The food is eeh... I like the tacos and the sweet potato fries. That's all I can say. See the other places I reviewed that are much better.

Great place for for great food

Excellent food and excellent service! Always a great time! You will leave stuffed! LOL my friends and I always pack a huge table full.

Great Place

We stopped here late Saturday night. Great Pizza and fun atmosphere. The staff was fantastic and treated us wonderfully. I highly recommend you try this place. Great beer selection and don't miss out on the wings!

Good Crust

By PistisAlone |

Cute place. The crust is fantastic. It is Light and crisp on top. Good pizza and pepperoni rolls. I am not a fan of sauce meat cheese layer. I like sauce cheese then toppings. However, the flavor is good. The people working are nice and attentive. Awful choice of music.

Love it!

Excellent pizza and they recycle and donate every month 20% of their earnings!!!! Marylyn Johnson super sweet employee!!

Decent pizza

By Not_Amish |

Stopped in here for dinner while on a business trip. Looked up places near my hotel to eat and went with this place for their unique philanthropic business model. The pizza was good no complaints, just don't know if I would call it great. They had a decent selection of local canned beer. Will stop in again if I'm in the area to try something else on the menu.

A good place for original pizza, but at a price

By Mike Hunt |

I was here last month and tried 2 different unique and original pizzas. They were good, not the best I have had for gourmet pizza. They are about 20% over priced for the quality/quantity of ingredients on the pie.

Awesome pizza!!!

By tmoreland64 |

This is a hidden gem if you aren't working or living in the area. Pizza crust is awesome, fresh toppings, with some very yummy flavor combinations. Nice salad selection as well. Great wine and beer selection, long happy hour for the after work crowd.

Great pies!

By Schmeltj |

Really enjoyed the experience here. Great and helpful service. Pizza selection and quality is excellent. Lighter crust with lots of topping choices. Big beer selection. It is a little pricey but worth it. We will be regulars!

Great pizza and awesome service!

By csbeachgirl |

Really enjoyed the few hours we spent here before catching a flight out at nearby Love field. Pizza was fresh and delicious. Service was noteworthy as were given free dessert just because our pizza was slightly delayed. Cannollis...yum!

Really Enjoyed the Pizza

By Cedar_Park_chump |

A group of coworkers and I stopped by Social Pie last night to pick up dinner before watching the World Series at our hotel. I ordered the Texican Pizza, which was an off-menu blackboard special. This pizza was one of the best I have had. It had a barbeque sauce base, cheese, brisket, onions, and jalepenos. All these ingredients came together with a wonderful synergy, in which each ingredient complemented the whole. The crust was also delicious. It was crisp, but not hard. I also had the side salad, which was OK, but fairly uneventful. I also had the dessert cannoli, which had strawberries and sweetened pecans. The cannoli was delicious. While we were waiting, the people are the restaurant were very friendly. They acurately described menu items and helped give us good suggestions, which helped us save money. Something I appreciate as a non-drinker was the pressence of sodas other than the usual Coke products. I picked up a bottle of craft root beer. I would happily eat at Social Pie again.

Fantastic Flavors

What an amazing restaurants! The food is delicious and the portion sizes for the salads are definitely for two people. The staff and atmosphere are great too. Warm and friendly :)

Too crowded and too loud for my tastes. Did not eat there but others said the food was good. I might go again earlier in the day.

Unique Pizza Place

By aceburris |

We made our first visit to Social Pie earlier this month. We had heard a lot about the place and wanted to check it out. What we found was a different looking pizza place. We were very pleased with the place, staff and food. The menu includes 9 different pizzas plus a build your own choice,4 sandwiches and 4 salads. In addition they have 16 craft beers on draft, variety of 43 cans/bottles. They also serve a variety of wines. They also have growlers for beer. You have a choice of a slice of certain pizzas or whole pie of any pizzas and also a lunch bundle that includes a slice of pizza, side salad and drink. We will make a habit of stopping in whenever we're in the area for a great meal. Social Pie is relative new to the area and provides a quick lunch or a satisfying meal.

Amazing Pizza & Atmosphere

By BlameMe21 |

This place is absolutely a favorite of mine when I go to Dallas. The offer locally brewed along with all the normal beers. The pizza is so amazing that you have to try it yourself. Revolver Brewery is in Texas and I absolutely live that I can go to Social Pie and have a Blood and Honey there. Great tasting beer

Great pizza for a great cause

By MandevilleDad |

First I love that they promote not one, but 3 local charities. We had a great dinner. Enjoyed the beer. Had pepperoni rolls, several varieties of pizza slices, Italian sandwich, and Caesar salad. Too much but all great. Fun hip atmosphere also

Excellent food and outstanding

Excellent food and outstanding service! The staff is awesome and very friendly. The pizza is always fresh. A great place to catch a game on TV and enjoy.

Great Place for good Pizza on Maple Avenue

By annagevor |

This pizza place is fairly new (they opened in September of 201). Located on Maple avenue, not too far from Downtown and LoveFIeld airport. The service is great, everyone is friendly. You wait in line ti order, then get a number and they bring the food to you. If you love beer, they have plenty of that to offer. Their pizzas are medium to thin crust, and they offer gluten free for an additional fee. You can also buy a slice (4") if you do not want an whole pizza. They offer salads, sandwiches, many additional toppings to pick from. We had the the classic Margherita, but asked to add pepperoni on 1/2 - as they do not mix pizza. They also offer dessert, but we were full. Their house salad was also very good and a decent size. The parking is free and they have plenty of parking spaces, they offer outdoor sitting, but be aware of airplanes and love field is nearby. If you live in the are you can also walk here.

They should not have served that pizza

By momdadkidsTexas |

I was in the area and decided to try it. It was pleasantly decorated, and the long, “social” tables are a great idea. The service was fine but not notably great, but that would not have been a problem, really, as I was looking for a quick lunch. I ordered a $10 lunch special, which was a slice of pizza, a salad and a drink. It would have been a fine price, but for the pizza. The salad was fine, although unremarkable, and the coke had nice fizz. We pizza was a brown, dry, over cooked slice with a dough bubble in the middle. It should not have been served, and should likely have gone to the staff breakroom. I wasn’t asked if it was ok; not a big surprise, as I could tell by the waitress’s face that it didn’t look good. It wasn’t even hot. I was in a hurry and ate it, but frankly, I can’t even believe this was the restaurant that everyone had reviewed so rapturously. I don’t want to be overly negative, but that pizza should not have been served!

So, so good!!!

By JR H |

What a great place! A friend and I went for dinner on a Friday night. We chose 2 seats at the bar and were greeted immediately by Rippee. Service was excellent. When Rippee wasn't there to keep our beers refreshed, several other of the employees checked on us. The craft beer selection was excellent and Rippee was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our options. He helped us decide on several tasty selections. If you're a beer aficionado, I would recommend taking an Uber. You can easily lose yourself in the fun of trying all of the different draft beers. I ordered the Four Cheese and added fresh jalapenos and my friend had the Wild Mushroom and added spinach. Both pizzas were very good, although they were a little cheap with the added jalapenos. There was only 1-3 slices of jalapenos per slice and I would have prefered 1-3 per bite--I like it spicy! I can not recommend this place highly enough. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing White Pizza

By WyoJafo |

We had a White Pizza and a Pizza Roll. Both were outstanding. I’m normally a pepperoni only guy and this gourmet pizza was an incredible change. They also have a great selection of regional craft beers. Will be back often.

Very Good!

By Dianne W |

I consider myself a fairly tough critic of pizza and there are very few Pizza restaurants that I consider good. I was all prepared to not like this place when someone suggested we go, but Surprise! It was excellent! I think that parking will be a big problem when they open their restaurant next door but we went early on a Sunday and didn't have a problem this time. Loved the pizza, great flavor and excellent consistency!
