Favorite spot for fresh sushi. No other place compares. If you're staying on the strip, take an uber and don't think twice about it.

We came for the happy hour from our hotel near the strip. Lots of choices for $5 per plate including several hot dishes. Draft Sapporo for $3. Consensus was the sushi was better than non sushi but the hot dishes were good too. Tempora was the only disappointment. It was a little greasy and the sauce was a bit weak. Overall a great experience.

Saw the good reviews on Trip Advisor and looking to get off the strip for something local, we hit Soho. It was very popular so make sure you get a reservation or prepare to wait. The good: the food and service were very good especially for the price. Inside is not bad given it's in the corner of a strip mall across from a gas station in an area that wouldn't be considered a pretty part of town. As long as you know that's what you're looking at going in, you'll like the sushi and the experience. If you're looking for white table cloths or high end décor, then you should look elsewhere.

My wife and I decided to try this place for dinner last Friday. While it is not all you can eat, we found that the overall quality of the food and service was superior to other all you can eat restaurants. The chef we had was friendly and started up a conversation with us as soon as we sat down. It being our first time here, he was quick to make recommendations regarding their most popular rolls. The one that sticks out to us was the Nutter Pillar. It was an assortment of fish and sauces, but had grounded macadamia nuts sprinkled on top. I'd never seen this roll at other sushi restaurants and highly recommend trying it. Be advised the restaurant stops seating guests at 10:00 p.m. even on a Friday night. We are used to last call being after midnight we had to make sure to get there earlier than we normally would for a sushi night. Overall it's easy to spend more than you would at an AYCE sushi restaurant, but I'd recommend SOHO at least once. By the end, we left satisfied, not just stuffed.

This was our annual visit to Vegas to celebrate my wife birthday. Japanese cuisines her favorite but we always go to the same restaurant, I suggested she pick a new place. I search on TripAdvisor, Soho Japanese restaurant review was good. We decided to go for it. On our arrival the place was pretty crowded, the host ask us it the sushi bar be ok, I agree and I'm glad I did. We order the sashimi premium, dragon roll, soft crap shell roll, two order of toro and two order old yellowtail sashimi. All dishes was excellent and fresh, service was great and compliments to all the chef at the bar, very friendly with excellent service. This will be the place to go for Japanese food when We come to Vegas. Thank you to all the staff at Soho.

A humble space run by a humble chef doing amazing things with fish. Go... now! One of the best sushi spots this side of the Pacific! Chef John turns out some beautiful sashimi plates, and all the staff are top-notch. The fish is unbelievably fresh, and if you're lucky, there is also real Japanese A5 wagyu available! I eat here every time i'm in vegas, and sometimes every night.

Atmosphere The outside looks like a plain little strip mall joint. The interior is nicely decorated and has a sushi bar and tables. It can get a little loud and crowded but nothing outrageous. Food One word...YUM! A variety of sushi, sashimi (raw fish) appetizers and entrees. The quality of the food here is wonderful. Sashimi is firm, fresh and absolutely delicious. New York steak was the perfect temperature and tasty. And if you're in the mood for something a little creative try their "tadas". Service Our server was very knowledgable about their menu and made suggestions (which were definite winners!). Our courses were perfectly timed so we didn't feel rushed nor were we waiting. Overall YUM! Most definitely on the "to do" list for the area! Excellent treat for your tummy. Note: I believe the server said they don't take reservations for groups under 6 people. So if you're going during a peak time you may have to wait for a table.

I ordered the volcano sushi roll and it was very good! We don't remember what's the other sushi roll dish was called. It was very good too. They we're nice to let us try one of their signature yellowtail sashimi. Very pricey.

This is my favorite sushi place in Vegas. Quality of food and service is so much higher than the price. Great place for a larger group of people.

Excellent food, staff, and location was a surprise. Everything we ordered was perfect. Highly recommend making the trip away from the strip.

The Omakase Chef's Tasting Menu was a masterpiece in itself. Each dish was a canvas of flavors, textures, and artful presentation that transported me straight to the heart of Japan. The Wagyu Tataki appetizer was an absolute revelation, combining the tenderness of the beef with a burst of umami goodness. The Nigiri selection was a delicate dance of pristine cuts of fish atop perfectly seasoned rice, and the hints of wasabi provided an invigorating kick. To be honest, finding something to criticize about my experience at Soho is like searching for a needle in a haystack. However, if I had to nitpick, the service could have been a tad quicker during peak hours. But rest assured, the leisurely pace allowed me to savor each dish fully, so it's not necessarily a deal-breaker. To avoid disappointment, make sure to book your table in advance, especially if you're planning to visit during peak dining hours.

This place has such a great menu but their Happy Hour menu tops all. They have a long menu of $5 sushi rolls and other delectable items. They also have great drink options including $3 Sapporo draft beer and sake. The sushi is delicious and the service is always great.

We had lunch at the Soho Japenese today. The food we ordered arrived really quickly and was very tasty. Especially the sushi! Price-performance ratio was very good as well. The restaurant is some miles away from downtown and the strip but the drive was totally worth it.

SOHO doesn't seem special at first glance: a normal Japanese restaurant with a lot of options on the menu. We asked our waiter for a bit of help and advice and she did a fabulous job. The carpaccios (we frowned when hearing we should go for 'carpaccio' at a sushi place) are out of this world. We've eaten a lot of really good sushi at various places and continents, but this really tasted amazing. Nothing like we have had before and nothing like we expected! We ended up ordering everything she recommended and have no regrets (however the sea urchin isn't our cup of tea as we know now). Go here and go for the carpaccios. No regrets guaranteed!

There's a reason this resturant is packed for happy hour. The food is fantastic and the prices can't be beat. Four of us ate and drank until pleasantly full for $100 unbeatable. Especially loved the scallop roll umm delicious. Will definetly come back next trip!

The reason I came here the first time was because it was across the street from me. That is all it took to get me hooked. Everything here is so fresh and good. The chef is super nice and always comes by and says hello. Fast forward to today. I met Chef Nunu. I think that's his name. Him and the other guys in the back were all cool. I have to say A+++++ for great customer service. Even the ladies are super nice and they remember everyone. Well maybe cause I'm there all the time LOL Today I decided to do something different and not order from the happy hour menu. I got the deluxe sashimi, ikura, chef special and green tea brûlée. The deluxe sashimi had salmon, sea trout, tuna, scallops, and some other fishes. They have different types of fish every week. Well that's what the chef said. I'll sit at the bar next week and see what they have. Everything on my plate was delicious. Portions are huge too. I was full after I ate all my sashimi but still had a little bit of room LOL The next thing I got was ikura aka salmon roe. It was like eating Nemo's brothers and sisters LOL the ikura is so good here. It has a sweet taste to it. The last fish was salmon. I think they said it was Scotland salmon. It tasted buttery and super good. They topped it with ponzu sauce, avocado and hibiscus sugar. I thought combo was weird but it melted in my mouth. It was HELLA good. It's supposed to be on the new menu. The green tea brûlée was better than the vanilla. You have to try it to believe it. I love coming here and I will be back for more FOSHO

We chose a range of sushi, sashimi and sushi rolls for our group of 5. Everything was excellent, exceeding the expectations of even the most demanding palates in our group. Best that I have ever had in Las Vegas, and quite possibly best anywhere.

It is a lovely small Japanese restaurant. First of all, they have happy hour for shushi and saki! Bang bang shrimp was yummy, we love it. I am not crazy about sashimi, but they were surprisingly good. Big portions. It costs a little over $100 for 4 of us. We were so busy eating that we forgot to take any pics.... highly recommend!

I had the Sunny salmon roll. I loved the lemon and lemon zest on it. It was a delicious touch, The staff is very nice and helpful. I would love to eat here again.

Went to Soho on Wednesday night and had service from the back-up crew. All was excellent. I had the sashimi and a Hamachi kama. Nice variety on the sashimi. My wife had a kama too, the escolar carpaccio and bang-bang shrimp (as pictured). We were not disappointed. We'll be back.

We followed the recommendations of our waiter, Elbert, and he did not steer us wrong. We started with fried broccoli which was incredible, then yellowfin tuna, then the best cho Toro I have ever had in my life (this from a SF foodie with several trips to Japan), then ribs and a salmon avocado wrap. Will absolutely return when in Vegas.

We loved the food and the prices. The bang bang shrimp was great, as was every single thing we ordered and we ordered several things just to try it. It's off the strip, but worth the trip over.

We came for lunch. Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Well worth the trip from the strip. Considering the quality of the food and service, the prices are amazingly low. We will be back the next time we are in Las Vegas.

Great Japanese sushi restaurant, menu had many very interesting options, food was fresh service was great, hostess very accommodating

A group of six of us who work together but live all over the world got together for a team dinner the other night at SOHO. We let the waitress pick our menu and she did an excellent job. The food was absolutely outstanding and so was the service. I must admit that as I drove from the Strip out to the restaurant I wondered if the distance was worth it. Then when I pulled into the strip mall adjacent to a gas station I wondered even more. But this hidden gem is great. It's obviously doable with Uber or a cab but it's a lot easier with a car if you are in town for a conference like we were. If you are a local and haven't been yet, I'd suggest you give SOHO a try.

Slow service. Party of 3 ordered, our meals all came out at different times. Sushi was sub par. Restaurant itself seemed dingy. Not impressed.

I just so happened to stumble upon this place online. It’s a little off the beaten path, but when we showed up at 6 for dinner, it was SLAMMED. It’s not a huge place, but they have happy hour every day until 7, and the deals are fabulous. We ended up waiting roughly 30 minutes on a Friday night. All 3 of us got an alcoholic drink, and we got 4 sushi rolls and an order of ribs - all for $45. AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! Honestly, what a hidden gem. My dad’s words -“this is the best deal in Vegas!”

We’ve been coming here at least once a month but this week one of the waitress was giving us dirty looks and our food was taking a little bit longer that it should have. We were ask to move our table to accommodate the other party which is fine. But when they asks us to leave after we paid and just finishing up our drink I think that was not right. They took forever for our food and our waiter disappear no one took over until we call someone else. We recommend this place to our guest but I think there are places our guest can go since they are too busy... the quality of food is not the same...

This is our sushi spot when we come to Vegas. We love their Happy Hour menu on sushi and get almost everything on it. It is a must for us every time we are in Vegas!

I came to Soho Japanese Restaurant for lunch with friends and ordered the bento box with kalbi and shrimp tempura—absolutely delicious and such a great price for the quality! For dessert, I had the honey toast, which was the perfect sweet ending. Our server, Johnny, was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, made great recommendations, and took excellent care of us throughout the meal. The pricing was spot on, and the food quality exceeded expectations. I’d definitely recommend their sushi and bento boxes to anyone looking for a great Japanese spot in Las Vegas.

It’s a long drive from the Vegas strip, but I was curious to see why it was rated so high. I’d say it didn’t live up to the hype, but it was good. I had the tokubetsu sashimi, which is a 21 piece sashimi. Selection was fine but I noticed a couple of the fish smelled a tad bit fishy. I’ve had better. But they did a terrific job with the gyoza - it was made just the way it should be and I was very happy with that. I’d say I’ve been there and it’s satisfied my curiosity, but that’s about it.

The place was fantastic, and among the best sushi i have ever experienced. There wasn't a single dish that wasn't amazing. The beef tataki was the best i have ever had. We had YellowTail Sashimi, Tuna and Hamachi Tostadas, Miso soup, and several rolls. I could without a doubt say that the food here is as good as I have ever experienced, and the service just couldn't be better. We had taken a cab to the restaurant, but when our meal finished the cab company's said there was a 60-90 minute minimum wait for a pick-up (on a monday night!!). The restaurant staff realized how long we had to wait, and one of the chef's actually drove us back down to the strip. I know that this sort of thing probably doesn't happen often, as the staff is needed, but for it to happen even once shows a high point of customer services than I have ever received from any restaurant anywhere. Thanks so much, I will return.

Came to Vegas with my kids and wanted to have Japanese without leaving a kidney to pay the bill. This place is THE BEST SUSHI AND JAPANESE IN VEGAS!!!!we loved it and wish we could live here to come often. My kid said he wanted to like the plate!

Lots of great dishes to pick from for $5 during HH from 4-7 p.m. Asahi $5 as well, had lots of rolls, albacore and salmon sashimi. Off the strip and local feel to it, which makes for a nice change when in Vegas. They have a changing daily menu as well so was able to taste delicious toro nigiri as well. Loved that place!

We have heard about how great this place is from our friends and families and since it is on the other side of town we thought it would be really good. Well it was really bad. Starting off the waitress, who i'm told is fabulous, brought out the wrong kind of wine than what was ordered. Then the correct varietal only can in those small bottles and not very good quality.WE had children with us and got in the place at 6 pm and left after 8 pm without getting all of the food we ordered. They really needed much more help serving and in the kitchen. It also took for ever to get the check. It will take a ton of convincing to get us back with this poor experience.

Great service, fresh fish, excellent presentation, everything you want in a sushi restaurant. The salmon and avocado roll was our favorite.

The food, service and price, the PERFECT combination. every single plate we tried was delicious, and with the prices so reasonable we tried several. highly recommended. you are not going to get the frill of a Strip restaurant but the food, the best.

The sushi burritos are awesome. I have had lunch from Soho several times and I plan to go back. Food is great and the prices are very reasonable.

I heard about SoHo Japanese from the front desk agent at the hotel I was staying at as being a local favorite. This place did not disappoint! The service was on point with Johnny as our waiter and the sushi dishes he recommended were delicious and fresh. This will definitely be a place I regularly visit whenever I am in town!

Great atmosphere! Ryan, Johnny and Alex were so accommodating! Happy hour prices are awesome beer was so cold and sake was super hot! The bronze broccoli was amazing! Crispy Rice roll was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and bring other friends!

This place is a real find. Our family of 3 ate here twice in four days...we enjoyed it so much. They have "Happy hour" sushi specials ($5 per delicious roll) delicious sangria for $3, and delectable dishes that are different and wonderful. The service is wonderful. All staff is friendly and helpful. They even made special sauces and dressings that were gluten-free. Don't miss this place. We'll be back on our next visit :-)

This restaurant has the best food and excellent service!! The rolls had the right size and the chef recommended roll was really great. Our server was very kind and suggested dishes we all liked! The also gave an small plate of fish and moji ice for free so we could taste it! This was one of the best restaurants we ate in on our trip!

The food here is above par. The price point for the food is average. The seaweed salad was flavorful. The miso soup was rich and tasty. The twin dragon absolutely awesome. The vegetable roll was well balanced. Overall great experience and will come back. The AC was not functioning 100% it was warm, but that did not bother me.

But rest assured, the leisurely pace allowed me to savor each dish fully, so it's not necessarily a deal-breaker. To avoid disappointment, make sure to book your table in advance, especially if you're planning to visit during peak dining hours.

Delicious meal and great service. We stopped in here wanting sushi and The sushi and sashimi did not disappoint. We tried the grilled Octopus and the honey walnut lobster with black truffle and omg we had to get another order of lobster it was fantastic. We will definitely be back.

I was very hungry today and I decided to go to this restaurant. The pictures of the dishes looked nice. Very nice is the happy hour from 12pm until 7pm. I was there at 4pm and I chose many dishes for 5$/plate, some sushi and sashimi and the octopus. A great value and great Deal are the 5$ plates. All dishes were great and I will return to this place. Very friendly stuff and fast service.

Having heard all the accolades this restaurant has earned, we decided that this was a must try. The fish was fresh, but not at all up to higher standards. It was not as westernized as some bigger name restaurants so we did appreciate that. It was a nice neighborhood Japanese restaurant with good prices but we were not overwhelmed by the innovation or quality.

Incredible experience! Waitstaff was friendly and very efficient. It’s really nice inside, you can dress up or go casual and you don’t feel out of place- I really liked that about SOHO. And the FOOD WAS AMAZING! I got the pork belly and it was so tender and juicy. And the sauce was excellent- it really complimented the meat. And the veggies were cooked just right- not too crunchy and not overdone. 10/10. I’ll be coming back next time I’m in Vegas.

I hardly have words for this one. Best. Sushi. Ever. For starters. One of the best meals I've had. Twice. Came here a year ago. Heartily came back. Hope to do so again soon! Just ask your server to bring you something good. You cant miss. Great service here. Have had two excellent servers, last time Sheila.

Good place with good service. I was a little bit disappointed on rolls taste compared to some that I could try but other then this it was really good. Their hamburger was just excellent! And for the dessert, I tried something that I knew I would have some difficulty with the taste and indeed it was not to my liking but it is on me.

We just finished a fabulous dinner at Soho's $5 happy hour! Wow what a great menu and excellent service from Anton! We were sent here by our favorite waitress in Denver and so glad we arrived in time for happy hour! Anton provided excellent recommendations and everything was fresh, delicious and beautifully prepared! Wish I would have taken pictures but we gobbled it before I could get a photo. My all time favorite was the kalbi! So good! Thank you to the Soho crew and really loved the service from Anton!

First time visiting, was recommended by bell man at the “New York New York” hotel/casino. Place is not fancy, but service, friendliness, and hospitality made up for it. “Augustin” was are sushi chef, excellent service and made for a welcoming and most if all “DELICIOUS “ time. Fish was bery fresh and we just told him what we like and he made custom rolls and sashimi too. Will definitely go back on our next visit!

This is your fast food sushi burrito... giant sized sushi like a burrito stuffed to the brim! The sushi is made fresh to order... its the subway of sushi! The burrito was very filling (i couldn't finish one myself) There is a great selection of filing to choose from.. price is very reasonable also

We have dined here quite a few times and this place always delivers. As always Excellent food and service!

We are visitors to Vegas. Great sushi taste, very fresh materials. We ordered a few special rolls that are not from anywhere else. All are good taste! Great service too! The price is very reasonable in Vegas comparing other sushi restaurant. Love it so much!

Excellent sushi; happy hour was a deal! The plates were delicious and appealing to the eye. Sake and wine were included in happy hour as well.

Food was beautifully and artistically displayed - so much pride in their creations!! At Soho, they know how to prepare sushi - absolutely delicious! I almost didn't review as I want to keep this place all to myself! Service was excellent - friendly and personal. We went back for a second time (only in Vegas for 5 days) they remembered us! Welcoming atmosphere, fun sushi bar. Clean! Great prices - especially during happy hour!

I must say I have tried sushi one other time and it was pretty decent. But this place went above and beyond. Absolutley delicious! It was our first visit in vegas and second visit at a shushi restaurant, our server recommend some highly things and it was all fantastic. If I'm in town ever again I will for sure be stopping by again. Bonus the views are fantastic!

Locals suggested this place for us the get away from the strip and was so glad we made the drive. Place was packed with a steady flow coming in the door.We had a party of 10 and the waiter suggested the chef create a menu for our group. Cannot map out all the dishes they made but everything was fantastic. Ribs, crab, salmon. All unreal and fresh. Service is extremely efficient and helpful with our drink selections. Anytime I will be in Vegas I will be stopping by. Highly recommend this place.

Myself and colleagues visit Soho most times we visit the area, the Sashimi is fresh and always cut to a nice thickness. Rolls are fresh and the staff always friendly. if you have the Sashimi platter in a large have them fry up the snapper carcass as there is plentiful supplies of meat in the cheeks and back area- like butter!

Every single thing I tried was excellent! Twin dragon roll, salmon lover roll, soho loco roll. Gyoza and even the Brussels sprouts! Top notch combination of flavors, fully recommend. Will come back

Best Sushi you will ever try is here. This restaurant is located in a strip with plenty of parking and the owner John was a chef at some of the high end sushi restaurants in Vegas. Fresh fish flown in every day, also specials differ daily depending on the fish they can get. The service is great and Efren took care of us, he gave us recommendations and it was great. We ordered a Blue Crab Spring Roll off the hook, Rainbow Roll very fresh and the hot plate was Short Rib over Wasabi Cream Mashed Potatoes. Overall very budget friendly and they do offer happy hour 12:00pm - 7:00pm $5 Sushi. Enjoy this restaurant and their sister property ROHO Burrito.

Soho produces some high-quality sushi - the salmon nigiri was exceptional - and some very creative rolls. The service was friendly and efficient. It's by no means the best sushi I've had, but it's an excellent choice if you can't afford the super-expensive stuff at a few other places in Vegas (e.g. the Wynn).

Even though the appearance isn’t too great, we totally recommend eating here. There were also a lot of Japanese guests which is usually a good sign for a Japanese restaurant. We had Sashimi, Sushi, Chicken Teriyaki and a Miso soup. Every single dish was great. If you like truffle, you must try the black truffle tuna Sashimi.

Absolutely 🔥 experience at Soho!!! Love the staff and just the homey feel. Me and the wife had a phenomenal night. Loved it!!

Went there for a late lunch with my family (2 adults and 3 kids). Very friendly staff giving just the right advice. Nice atmosphere, good smells (no fish smell)! Inexpensive but excellently prepared food. The sashimi plates as well as the sushi rolls we've had where excellent. We haven't had such a good sushi in the USA for a long time. If we weren't to return home to Switzerland tomorrow, we'd certainly go there again!

So much more than expected! Huge happy hour menu with delicious sashimi for only $5 per plate. I have never heard of such a great deal anywhere, and the food is excellent! There are so many options for everyone. My 13 y/o son had the angus sliders. I highly suggest reservations.

came here for the lunch special i had the sashimi set it comes with rice and salad the price is reasonable and you can taste the quality of the sashimi i'm excited to bring my family here and try the HH menu !

Soho is our new to-go Restaurant 2-3 times a week. Super friendly, incredible fresh products and if you come for Happy Hour, super reasonable! One of the best finds in Las Vegas

My suggestion is simply this. For an Omakase experience do NOT come when they are slammed. The cuisine is far more capable of a better recipe than what we had served. For the price and the taste, I would not do this again. As an owner, I know the food cost of this product here locally, and I get a 3x or 4x mark up....but what we agreed to pay and what was served fell far short of the value received. I am sticking with the Happy Hour menu and the value. It is a 4 3/4 star experience even when the place is totally packed and people waiting. The staff has this concept to a fine T. Will always be back for great sashimi, the Uni and the Giant Clam (Geoduck=Mirugai)!!! Definitely ono!

Best sushi i have ever taste service was top draw i would definitely recommend left absolutely full and great value will be back

I've never been a fan of raw fish but do love shrimp, crabs, lobster and spicy food. So I gave it a shot since I was out voted. I had a sip barely of a rice wine that absolutely choked me and had nothing to do with that anymore. I think we ordered like 10 different rolls. They were all good. Several were actually delicious. The chopsticks were fun. It was truly worth the visit. Good stuff.

Six month back was our third visit and now it’s the forth, the chef and service personal still charming and courteous. The food quality as good as the last visit. Keep it up, will return.

It has been a few months since we ate there so cannot remember exactly what we had.....but every dish was better than the next, We ate there at lunch time when they offer the equivalent of a $5 happy hour menu but with a lot of choices. In fact so many looking so good it was hard to choose. One dish was so good we ordered it to go as well, put it in our cooler with all the other to go specialties we bought in Vegas, then drove straight home to Oakland to eat it. The value may be the best you will find in any Japanese restaurant anywhere. Most of the dishes would easily be $10 anywhere else. Can't wait to go back!

The best sushi we've had in a long time! They even gave us two free plates. Two of us had a drink each and so much sushi and sashimi we are stuffed. Even the spider roll is on the $5 happy hour menu! Our total bill was $40!

I only leave reviews if something is really good, or really bad. My girlfriend and I just made a 2 week tour of SoCal and Vegas. I think this restaurant was the best of all the culinary experiences we had during our several weeks of visiting my home (the US). Of note, we went at lunchtime, and were there during what they call "happy hour." I think it was a weekday. Sake was $5 and all plates were between 5 and 8 dollars, I think. Things that were awesome: - Food: There are a lot of options on the menu. Everything we ordered was amazing. It's kind of cool that it is a small plate menu with lots of different things to try. Presentation also great. Best dishes we had (that I remember) were the crispy brussels sprouts (really, really good), and some of the more traditional sushi. Though pop rock sashimi was certainly interesting to try as well. - Service: Excellent. Waiter was very chill and helpful. Chefs seemed cool too. - Value for money: Very good for Vegas. This is a high end dining experience for normal money. Also, they do a $5 house sake which is great (and I lived in Japan for 3 years) and plenty to share amongst two people. We got two of them. - Parking: Easy, free parking (it's in a strip mall). Nothing I didn't like. Awesome restaurant.

SOHO has it all. The atmosphere. The customer service. And of course, an amazing food experience! I am a sushi lover and have probably been to more than 50 Sushi restaurants. This small establishment is by far one of THE best available - especially considering the array of restaurants available on the strip. The sea bass is absolutely mouth watering - and melts in your mouth. Their fish is very fresh and they will make a meal to order. Awesome side dishes (brussels sprouts, cucumber salad, and their mushroom soup to name a few) They are full service to the core - they offered samples while I waited, offered great options, and are eager to please the palate! Their menu consists of sashimi and other typical sushi rolls - with their own delectable sauces - and options for people like my husband who do not care for raw fish. If you are tired of the "strip" and want another great option - this is a MUST try. PS - they have an awesomely priced happy hour ;).

We went for lunch and had a great meal. Presentation was great and taste was amazing. We went during Happy Hour where most dishes are $7-$8 each. We ended up buying more because of how good they were.

About $25 taxi fair from the strip one way. Many special Japanese dishes with good price. We ordered premium sashimi and WAGYU beef, both great taste. Fast and friendly service. Suggesting for improvement: - hot green tea: not good, light and watery, feel like cheap tea - green tea teramitsu: dry cake, too much whipped cream, not much of green tea taste. Expensive for what it has to offered.

Really excellent sashimi, sushi, and great service. Jarred guided me to great choices. This spot is highly recommended.

I chose this restaurant to celebrate our Wedding lunch with friends on 3/9/19. I emailed ahead of time to explain our situation. I received a very timely and pleasant reply back saying they would be happy to accommodate us. Accommodate is far from the word I would use to describe our experience at Soho! The staff, chefs and everyone went above and beyond to make our celebration absolutely perfect! I am a foodie and very particular on quality, selection, wine etc.....I can not say enough about how pleased all 5 of us were! My friends, who are also well traveled and particular are still raving about our meal here! My one friend ordered something very specific not on the menu and they were happy to deliver! I've already recommended this restaurant to a few people I know who are headed to Vegas! A trip back to Vegas just to go to Soho only would be worth it! Thank you to everyone at Soho for your generosity and great service!!!

If you looking for some authentic Sushi and not pay the strip price, this is the place. Friendly staff. Great food, fresh fish. The YELLOWTAIL IS OUT OF THIS WORLD. It melts in your mouth and the sauce they make their is wonderful. We changed our trip to make sure we were able to have dinner here. It is worth the stop

So they have happy hour from 3 pm to 7 pm everyday except Sundays I believe, and we just caught the last 10 min of happy hour. They have drinks and select items from the menu for 5 dollars. We had the albacore that was our favourite, the Angus beef was excellent too. The cooked chicken was great, as was assorted tempura. The least favourite was garlic Parmesan chicken wings.... next time I will have the Spicey wings. The also have Sake on happy hour, had a 300 ml bottle for $18.00 that I thought was very good! Overall dinner was $69.00 including 20 percent tip. Service was great... we had a male server who was fantastic with helping us order. I will definitely return!!!

Our return visit after one year ago to this day. Our expectations hoping the good food and service be the same as we had last. We were greeted with warm reception, The waitress name Julia was exceptional. Order our food with some recommendations from her. The food came very fast. The premium sashimi was the best, very fresh the best we had. Learn this year you can make reservations that is great. I recommend to anyone to have a great time and food go to Soho Japanese Restaurant. Price is very reasonable. A five star place.

After 2 weeks of average food throughout my roadtrio through the westcoast, this restaurant felt like heaven! Ive been there during the happy hour (12.00 till 19.00) and the place was packed. The happy hour menu card was big with enough options for everyone and just $5 per dish. Personnel was friendly and the food was really good. I will definately recommend this place to others.

We tried this place after reading the rave TA reviews. Everything was great and the draft (Sapporo) beers were only $3 each. Key is to be there during the 4 - 7 pm happy hour and order the happy hour items(only $5 each). Next time, we will come earlier than our 6:10 pm time. Place was packed and we got the last available table. We ordered the brussel sprouts (unbelievable), angus beef tataki, shrimp roll, fresh eel-unagi (wife's fav), California roll, fish & chips, and bronze brocolli - all we rated as 5 stars (1-5 scale). Also ordered the mixed tempura (a little too greasy) and Tiramisu (mint flavored) which we rated as a 4. The service was great - never had to wait long for the waiter to service and check up on us. Definitely will return but try to come between 4 - 5 to get better seating.

If you’re in the mood for fresh, flavorful sushi that delivers an unforgettable experience, So-Ho is a must-visit. Tucked away in a cozy corner of the city, this charming sushi spot effortlessly blends traditional Japanese techniques with a modern twist, making it a standout among local dining options

I absolutely love this place. Aaron is a rockstar! He always makes special "off menu" dishes for us that we LOVE. Last time it was Black something Perch. The service here is outstanding

Exceeded our expectations. Very fresh sushi. Happy Hour till 7PM. They offer a tasting menu if you want take it up a notch. Just a fun place offering fresh food with great value that is served by a staff that is simply on it.

Came here with my wife, son and daughter on July 4th for hPpy hour drinks and appetizers. They have a great happy hour menu where ever dish is only $5! We had the chicken karaage, Kia geso, truffle tempura, salmon carpaccio, baked mussels and Cajun albacore sashimi. Everything was delicious. Only negative was that our server dropped a dish of food on the table and it soaked my son’s trousers. She made up for it by comping the dish and 2 rounds of drinks. All in all a good night.

Had an awesome dinner here, great sushi, miso soup, California rolls, tempura, everything was tasty and fresh, They have a great happy hour from 12 until 7, great prices and great food and service. Highly recommend and we will be back.

We went for happy hour sat at sushi bar. JJ was our chef very friendly, very reasonable prices but a lot of fried food/rolls. Fish was very fresh. Not your typical sushi place but we would go back. If you are staying on the strip it's worth the taxi fare.

We felt welcomed right away into this attractive restaurant. Our waiter Justin was so kind, making sure we had everything we needed and giving very helpful advice. The food was excellent- the miso soup was flavorful, the tempura was perfectly cooked and generous with the shrimp, the sushi was fresh and tasty with nice variety. I would definitely come back.

It is what reviewers say it is. Located south of the strip in a shopping mall, this appears to be 'the place'. A friday night we had no wait despite if being full. We sat at the bar and had Jon explain what he was preparing and the origin of where each seafood item was from. We shared to 35 piece sashimi platter, seaweed salad, and cucumber salad. TOP RATE!!! The gyoza were good but not a 'feature' item(we have gyoza) to die for in NY. Lots of sushi chefs sharing prep and moving along quickly obviously enjoying the energy of the restaurant. I'd prefer for it to be quieter, there was loud overhead music but I am more sensitive than others to that sort of thing. Lots of regulars--one could happily step out for a solo meal at the sushi bar This was my TOP SASHIMI MEAL, only thing that topped this was Pacific barracuda from the back of the boat, caught and served as ceviche within an hr.

Soho restaurant for the third year have proven to have a great quality of service and the standard of food. Tonight food as usual is top Norge. I fully recommend to anyone to visit when in Vegas. Thanks Soho for a great night.

This place is the best sushi place I have ever been to. They aren't open for lunch or on Sundays. I recommend making reservations or getting there right when they open. It's a small restaurant and it is always packed. Get there for Happy Hour. Everything I have tried has been delicious. The staff is also very friendly. Everyone I have taken there wants to go back, it's that good.

This spot has great sushi!!! It’s fresh and full of flavor. My friends and I went family style shared everything and it was all great. They also have a great happy hour.

I live in Las Vegas so this is a local foodie review, not a traveler review (although I do travel frequently). I am very particular about sushi and sometimes roll my eyes at places that earn good ratings from less discerning consumers. SOHO is the real deal. I got really good service even though they were quite busy. Had five great dishes, one after another. For locals sushi, they are comparable in quality to I Love Sushi in Henderson and Sushi Fever on Sahara. A very convenient location if you live near the south leg of the 215 or in the SW valley.

We like this place so much... not only is it worth the wait, we've come here each time we are in LV! The people here are awesome and the food fresh and delicious. We love sushi and Soho delivers. They have happy hour every day from 5-7 so it is difficult the get a table then. However, if you arrive before 7 they honor the happy hour prices. Still a great value no matter what time you arrive!

Thanks to TripAdvisor I went to SoHo Sushi kn Las Vegas and it was one of the best parts of my Journey. I had a Sashimi of world class that even in Japan is state of the art. Perfectly cut yellowtail and Chutoro, my favorite fish. I loved every gram of my portion and still dream of it 😋 It was so perfect that we returned the other day :) Our attentive and very friendly waiter Dustin came up with perfect service. Thanks to the entire team, specially to the kitchen for a wonderful experience. Next time in Vegas, we’ll definitely come again! 5 star diamond deluxe rating!!! Greetings from Germany Dominic

I've been to a few sushi burrito places in town and there are a lot of these around in Vegas. This is probably one of the older and smaller places. They have two locations. You basically decide if you want a bowl or a burrito. Choose your fish, sauce, and bowl veggies. This place also has some home developed bowls which are tastier than the house bowls at other places. The bowls come in two sizes and the price is quite reasonable. This place is better than To see and JaBurrito which are also nearby.

We wanted to get off the strip and try some local sushi, and this place did not disappoint! The wait staff is very attentive and helpful. My wife and I don’t know much about ordering sushi, so we asked our server for recommendations. The crispy Brussels sprouts were tasty, and the salmon carpaccio was very good. But the black truffle tuna is out of this world! Very reasonable priced, great food and friendly staff!

I have to warn you, we asked the waitress if the Kalbi was "chewy" and naturally she answered "no". But it was again, the second time we tried it. Tried it in February and it was way too fatty and wasn't done well at all. I would NOT recommend it! The salmon plate was greast and sized portion for lunch was decent. Didn't order any sushi this time around but the sushi has always been ouitstanding and the presentations are awesome!

We come here every year because they serve very good quality of Japanese cuisine. We loved the rolls and fresh sashimi. See you guys next year!

Went in for lunch earlier last week. Ryan was phenomenal. The lobster roll was amazing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new sushi spot. Thanks for a good experience!!

We went there a few times as a couple for lunch or dinner. The place itself is very nice, clean and has a good vibe. The food is also good, fish are fresh and service is very good. This is not a 5 starts place but its really worth the money and a good place to hang our with decent prices. Their happy hour is awesome with some nice selections for a very cheap price.

Wanting Sushi, Soho was recommended by the hotel staff. We drove from Summerlin Tech to Soho Restaurant and it was very much worth the drive, even through traffic. We arrived around 5PM and did not have to wait to be seated. We chose our food from the "Happy Hour" menu ($5.00 items) and not a bit disappointed in the quality or quantity of food. We had Salmon Avocado Roll, California Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Angus Beef Tataki which was AWESOME, so we had a second Angus Beef Tataki. The staff here are great and the food arrives quickly. Nice clean restaurant. With the "Happy Hour" menu, the cost is very reasonable. Now this is our most favorite for dinner when we are in Vegas.

The interiors of the restaurant are somewhat odd - not Japanese at all. But the culinary creations this happy culinary team celebrates on the plate are spectacular - eat off the blackboard only. Fresh, creative, super tasty.

Great food, excellent service, and birthday moch! Tasted fish I’d never had before. And gold flakes on toro? Yum city! Only problem was double charge to my credit card. Lol. Loved this place and will return soon.

This is the BEST KEPT SECRET Japanese restaurant in Las Vegas. Their food is excellent and the price very reasonable. The service is outstanding and they have great happy hour menus! They also allow customers to bring their own wine with no corkage fee!!! Thank God it's so close to where we live we don't have to drive far to go out on a date 😊

The food was so fresh and so well presented that I went well beyond the limits of a normal meal. Miso soup was rich, salad was crisp and tangy, the spicy soft shell crab roll was perfect, the eel, the ginger tuna ceviche, and the many other sashimi dishes were all prepared to perfection. There were some minor "hiccups" in the service such as lack of napkins and only one chopstick and the lack of a replacement plate after one was removed but it was never an issue when compared to the fabulous dinner

I love sushi and have traveled all over the country so I've experienced some excellent dishes. However, Soho tops everything. The combination of great tasting food, service and price makes it better than anything I've ever had before. We visited here for our anniversary. We made a reservation for 8pm as the reviews mentioned that happy hour is always packed. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our waiter Sheila made a few recommendations and based on the reviews we ordered some of their sashimi speciality dishes. The Golden Ocean Trout and Yellowtail Zuzu Soy were absolutely amazing. We also had some oysters that melted in our mouths like butter. Sheila made our night feel very special and treated us like we were in a five star restaurant. Soho is definitely going to be on our must-do Vegas list from now on.

Excellent small dishes and very reasonably priced . Service is excellent. The Brussel sprouts with pine nuts dish is a must . Small plates:bar menu is offered all day, most dishes are $5. Set lunch menu is a bit limited but we cares if there are so many small plates to try. We go at least twice a month. Highly recommended restaurant.

Soho is one of the best options for sushi in Las Vegas, easy!!! I wish more people would venture off the strip to locations like this. Easy to access, right off the 215, Soho has never disappointed. If you're a tuna crispy rice (crispy tuna roll here) and yellowtail with ponzu regular at Nobu, Soho's is more than comparable. Also love their rock shrimp tempura and shishitos. The stand out here in my opinion is their cold dishes, the first listed on the menu. For Sen regulars, I think this is what puts Soho a step above, as well as the slightly smaller, more digestible menu with all the necessities. I sample several cold dishes (all sashimi style fish) every time I come, either by myself or as share plates with others. They love to experiment and usually always hit the nail, so don't be cautious, I swear they won't disappoint. The yellowtail yuzu and seared garlic tuna are classics, but I'm a stickler for the golden ocean trout and cajun albacore. Last time I had a great dish with truffle too! Wouldn't order it every time, but it was a great change of pace. Ultimately, Soho is worth a trip for locals and tourists alike!

Food was great, service was outstanding!!!! Had a great time. Price was average for this type of food and atmosphere.

We'd heard about this spot from a local and decided to check it out - we were so glad we made the 15-20 minute trip (via car) from The Strip to follow their advice. I was with a group of five and we had a magical night at SoHo. The combination of the atmosphere, excellent service, and very high quality food made it one of the best meals we had while in Las Vegas for significantly less than what you'd pay for the same quality on The Strip. Everything we ordered was excellent, however, I have special fond memories of the tune with crispy chives, the salmon and unagi (eel) sushi.

Food was fantastic as was our waitress. Happy hour menu was a terrific value but the quality and presentation was excellent. We now have a favorite sushi spot when visiting las vegas!

Another out of the way find on Tripadvisor! Great sushi at reasonable prices with beautiful creative presentation. Volcano Roll was A-Maaazing. Highly recommend. Rock Shrimp Tempura was fresh and had a unique sesame banana dipping sauce. Mussels were odd as they had a cheesy topping of some sort melted on them (strange for a Japanese restaurant but whatever lol) Fell short of a 5 star review because they forgot about our order and it did take roughly 45 minutes from when we arrived to finally get our food. However once the server realized this they did give us one dish at no charge which we appreciated. We would return (:

Were not disappointed by Soho House. We went for dinner one night, and take-out for lunch a couple of days later. The seared Wagyu beef was awesome. The Kumamoto oysters were very fairly priced ($3 each!) and yummy as they should be. The service was great - attentive but not overbearing. For take-out, we ordered 4 of their lunch specials: salmon teriyaki, steak teriyaki, Soho loco and tonkatsu. The steak teriyaki was definitely one of the best. Typically, the meat most restaurants use for the steak teriyaki tend to be tough/chewy/stringy, but Soho's was great. Could have cut through it with a spoon. My husband had the tonkatsu, which came with a curry sauce and he ate it, even though he's not normally a fan of curry. The Soho loco was.. different. Instead of brown gravy, it came with a unique sauce. But the meat, like the steak teriyaki, was very good. Soho House will definitely remain a place-to-go when we're in Vegas.

Happy hour is so good everything is full size and is only 5 buck. The bang bang shrimp is amazing I would come hear everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Every thing was just as it shuold be and evne more. The service was excelent and the mussels were the best i ever had

Much to my surprise, the place was in a strip mall and fairly small. Not very fancy inside, but very comfortable. Menu was not as large as most sushi restaurants but the food was very good. Unagi was excellent. Albacore sashimi melted in you mouth. Spicy tuna roll had just the right amount of heat. Eel roll was perfect. Chicken Katsu was classic as was the shrimp tempura. Seared beef strip was more like carpaccio. No dessert menu but an ice cream parlor was right next store. Give this place a try.

From the moment we walked in I felt like a local. We stopped for lunch and their prefix menu was perfect for us. Our 9 month old loved the staff as well. The staff is amazing they all love what they do, and that could be seen through their service. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, it's worth the trip off the strip. Thank you Soho for giving us such wonderful service.

Our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Wonderful food, great deal in happy hours and very friendly staff.

This is not a classical sushi restaurant with Japanese chefs in spotless whites speaking Japanese; nor is it a typical Americanized sushi place with 2-for-1 dragon-cream cheese - susihi rolls. This is something different, an expert presentation of high quality sushi with some nods to fusion and outstanding presentation. They have an extensive happy hour offering, 5 to 7, which seems to often fill (call ahead recommended). We arrived at 6:50, not intending to partake of happy hour; but when they sat us 20 minutes later they volunteered to honor the happy hour prices since we had arrived before 7, and they did for all food and beverages ordered off the happy hour menu well past 7. Sashimi was outstanding both in quality and presentation; goyozas also excellent. Prices very reasonable. Will be back.

Visited here after all of the rave reviews. Must say I am a bit surprised. Reviews like best sushi of my life, try places like Sake or Sokyo... Service was friendly, but some of our order was missed.... I would not drive all the way from the strip if you are expecting to be wowed.

Had a work lunch and Soho today and I was happy with the quality of the dishes. The service was great and the food was prepared well. The plating was very beautiful and the bites of fresh sashimi was fresh and flavorful. This is not a tourist spot but a local favorite and I understand why. Glad I was able to enjoy

Best sushi 🍣 I ever had ! Incredible food and the best service. Demetris was the best waiter, he knew his stuff…. I fully recommend this place ❤️

The food was really tasty and very fresh, besides this the price was correct. We really enjoyed having dinner in this place, it deserves to come to this area of Las Vegas only for eating here.

The atmosphere is a bit retail park/strip mall like, okay but nothing stylish or fancy. The miso soup was good, edamame portion on the small side. We liked the signature rolls, the sushi overall was a 4 out of 5. Our japanese restaurant at home in Germany serves much better sushi in our opinion. Don't get me wrong - we enjoyed the evening, but I think the total experience was not 5 stars

Our first time at cozy restaurant not too far from the Las Vegas Strip. Loved the whole atmosphere of the place. Every person was greeted as they entered with a hearty welcome from the chefs. The rolls we tried were fresh and tasted absolutely amazing. The best was the rainbow roll. That was so good, I will definitely have to order that when I am back in Vegas. Service was crisp until we had to leave, for some reason it took a while to get our check. However, that did not affect our opinion of this restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I ate here last night for my bday. We love our sushi and really wanted to have some nigiri, sashimi and rolls that were not Americanized and covered with a ton of sauce. We got what we wanted here and while our waiter didn't have many suggestions, he was very friendly and accommodating. If you have a car, it's totally worth it to come here and spend $150 for a dinner for two including a bottle of sake instead of spending at LEAST twice as much for similar food on the Strip. We even received a free small bottle of lychee sake and a small dessert sampler with candles for my bday which was a really nice surprise!

Absolutely a 5 and oh boy are we lucky to have this world-class sushi place right down the street from us and at neighborhood prices. The Happy Hour menu is by far the best I have seen in Las Vegas. Great sushi rolls and sashimi dishes for just $5. Sapporo draft beer for only $3. Outstanding dishes we tried were the Cajun Albacore Sashimi, Salmon Carpaccio, Salmon Avocado Creme, Fire Cracker Rool, and Seafood Dynamite Roll. The counter service was super friendly and it was fun to watch the guys do their craft. We should have tried this place much sooner. Can't wait to go back for dinner service. If you are visiting from out of town get off the strip and run to this place.

Stopped in to visit family for lunch. Very good food and large portions. We had many items on the menu, including teriyaki chicken, teriyaki salmon, sushi, tempura and more. Each lunch came with soup and salad. Excellent food. Please refill the Iced Tea on our next visit. I will return very soon. This is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. I added photos of our visit.

WOW!! The whole experience was WOW!! Lively neighborhood place, very friendly and comfortable setting, service was great, but the Sushi was Fabulous. Went there during thier “Happy Hour” and the selections were extensive and high quality. Different Shashimi and Carpaccio selections were so flavorful neither my wife or I used any Soy Sauce or Wasabi during the meal. It’s not fancy like Nobu, Mizumi, or Yellowtail ( have eaten at three ), but the Fish and Rolls are just as good for 1/3 the price. Get reservations , its not a big place.

Went here after recommendation from TripAdvisor. This place was no disappointment, best sushi, atmosphere and service ever!!!

Unbelievable. From a couple that eats a ton of sushi -- WOW. A++++ place. Everything was beyond fresh -- highly recommend the Premium 21-piece sashimi, Volcano Roll, Bronzed Broccoli......by far the best cuts of shashimi we've had in a long time. Best off-the-strip restaurant for Japanese cuisine and worth the price of admission!!!! The artistry of the rolls and presentations was top quality. Staff were so friendly and amazing -- a warm special thank you to Aaron and Chef Israel for such a spectacular foodie experience!

Been to a lot of sushi joints in town (on-strip and off-strip) and this establishment ranks up there with the very best! This place always has great service, good prices, and the best fresh fish! Absolutely, one of the best sushi happy hours in Las Vegas bar none. They do an amazing job with sauces and flavors! The restaurant is smaller, but comfortable. Fantastic Mochi ice cream and Green Tea Tiramisu too.

Beyond excellent as usual! Go during happy hour!!! You will not be disappointed. Uber from the strip is around $16.

In a city with so many options, this is a winner. Repeat customer and the experience yesterday was as good as ever and this is a solid choice. I know sushi/sashimi well as a spend significant time in Tokyo. This place never disappoints me. Lunch is great and happy hour is fun and very well priced.

Went there a few days ago. Had a great meal. We started with oysters that were to die for and seaweed salad. Then we had the large sashimi platter that was awesome. It was served over a whole fresh raw fish which we had the chef deep fry afterwards. Amazing.

Really great food. Good service. Very hard to find a real Pork Tomkatsu and really good Sashimi. Spicy Korean wings fell off the bone. As a chef, highly recommend this lovely spot.

Fantastic food, artistic, fresh and inventive. Escolar carpaccio is a must try, volcano roll was piled high with flavor and just enough spice, everything coming out of the kitchen made me want to photograph it. Packed on a Thursday night but always great attentive service. Can't recommend it enough! We may be back tomorrow night!

My wife and I have been here quite a few times every time we come back we always are amazed at how good everything is. One of the best sushi happy hours in Las Vegas huge crew of very attentive non pushy people working their tails off and make sure everything is perfect. You can try and find a better place than this in Vegas but believe me as much as my wife and I go out you won't. .

Just going to be candid that the food quality was just poor. Over-sauced, over-salted, meat quality so-so. Way too much mayo - maybe the main chef is on leave, but the food prep is quite crude. Unfortunately one of the worst Japanese experiences in memory. Service is really good though. Courteous and helpful staff

Happy hour menu and price are unbelievably great. The happy hour menu has a large variety of sushi, fish tostadas, burritos., with hamburger sliders thrown in too. The flavors is what captivated us. It is very popular place. We will definitely go back.

The service is real good. The jap food is non traditional and very creative. They are super friendly when you wana ask any question. Be prepared to queue for dinner time. Make sure you go during happy hour, its a real bargain!

Very good fresh food. They have some excellent happy hour specials. I had the fish tostadas on this visit. Yum! I shall return soon. Photo added.

Great happy hour! Fresh sushi, friendly staff and out of this world presentations! Sit at the bar for a fun and entertaining night! Ask for John!
Outstanding Service and Sushi!
Our first visit, but won't be the last. This will definitely be a staple on our Vegas trips! The food was outstanding, but so was the service. Janeally was our waitress and she was so sweet and attentive to our needs. Everything was so flavorful and the presentation was very nice as well.
