The food is okay. Nothing to write home about. Everyone who works here are very nice and the place is charming and cozy. We went there at least twice a week. But when they suddenly raised their prices - for so-so food - they lost my business

This place is the real deal. The best, most authentic gyros I have ever eaten in New York! In fact everything I have tried there has been delicious. I recently had their pork chops with potatoes and they were scrumptious! The only knock on this establishment is the counter people and wait staff. While they're nice, they dont smile much and aren't the warmest. They're not rude by any stretch, but could show greater warmth so as to display to their customers that they truly would like them to come back. : )

Ate in the lovely backyard since the weather is stunning. But leaves falling off the trees were landing in our food and drinks. Oh well not a big deal just mentioning it as part of our experience. Enjoyed a nice lunch special of sandwich and soup or side. We tried the two vegetarian sandwiches and had the fries and a soup. Everything was fresh and delicious. Portion is good for the price; don't expect huge portions. We had the hummus appetizer and I wasn't wild about it. Too runny, not much flavor. But everything else great. Service lovely.

Nice restaurant with cool outside seating in the back. Spicy feta dip and tzatziki were very good. Reasonable prices, I ordered pork gyro. It was very good, just small portion.

While visiting New York City, my wife and I had lunch at this place which my cousin choose. My wife chose kebabs of pork and chicken with rice pilaf. She said they were all good. My cousin chose a salad with slices of pork. She also liked it. I blew it. I tried the daily special which was a tomato and green pepper stuffed with rice and ground beef with boiled potatoes on the sides. The entire thing sitting on an olive oil base. It was just average. The service was slow given that the place was almost empty when we came in. Only one waitress but she was apparently working on the bills from the day before. The physical plant is just ok. Just what is expected for the prices. Including a beer, the tab including a 20% tip was $56.10 I have been to better Greek places but if I were to return I would stick with gyros or kebabs.

My sister and I just ordered food from something greek. We both ordered the Chicken Souvlaki platters... which were amazing! Really hit the spot! We always eat italian or asian food when we order takeout so we were looking for something different to switch things up. We will definitely be ordering from here again! The platters came with two chicken souvlaki skewers which were very tasty and seasoned well. I wanted to keep the dish semi-healthy so I went for the rice instead of the french fries ... I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of rice pilaf ... but it was cooked nicely and went really well with the chicken. The salad on the side could have had a little more lettuce- there were more tomatoes and cucumbers than there was romaine. The pita bread was delicious.. and my Favorite part of this meal .... the tzatziki was the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant. I'll be trying the spinach pie platter next time.

I've eaten a few times at this restaurant and have never been disappointed. The sticks are always fresh and not over cooked. The Yemista (stuffed tomatoes and peppers) are very good, I never go wrong ordering them. Too bad they only have them once a week. The only down side to this place is it is a little pricey but the food is def. worth it once in a while.

This place is pretty awesome. Great food, prices, and service. Atmosphere is cozy. Always great music. In bag ridge it's really difficult to find good fopd. But this place is one of them.

Met with some friends for a quick dinner after a late night of work. Waitress was very active and constantly checked in. Food was first class. Perfect gyro, grape leaves were awesome. The hummus wasn’t the best. Music was very popular- dance with a trendy vibe.

My wife and I have passed this restaurant several times and finally decided to stop by. So glad we did. Great Greek food for reasonable prices. The service is excellent

Somethingreek's Gyros are made from scratch on the premises and succulently delicious with a fresh and satisfying taste and texture. High-quality ingredients, very well-prepared and presented encourage repeat customers! Eat in, particularly in the restaurant's hide-away back patio one of these hot summer evenings, or load up from the take-out menu for a picnic. Something great is happening at Somethingreek, Bay Ridge!

This restaurant serves very good food. They offer many options and specials. I had the Greek meatballs, rice, a salad, and pita. My accompanying guest had a salad. We also each had a soup. The food was very flavorful, we enjoyed it very much. The service was great. The wait was reasonable and our server was very nice. I highly recommend this place for reasonably priced Greek food.

We like to cook at home mostly but when We need a fresh tasty wholesome well prepared meal with excellent salads the go-to restaurant in bay ridge is SG. You always feel that the meal is the best - never too filling.

Ordered take out. Seamless. Arrived when said, two gyro platters plus extra tzickie and dressing on the side. It came minus salad dressing. I called and within 15 minutes had the dressing plus a free dessert which was great. Combo platter: gyro meat: very good. Salad: average. Pita: very good. Rice: tasted like near east boxed. Grape leaves: good. Overall: good Greek close to home. Will go back soon.

Perfection! I eat there solo, with friends, family, and my boyfriend and the food, service and atmosphere are always great. The daily specials are fun. I love Saturdays for the stuffed pepper and tomato with lemon potatoes and salad. Tuesday special is chicken thighs and legs with lemon potatoes and salad. All soooo amazing. The spanikopedia (spinach and feta cheese in philo) is scrumptious! And don’t for get the chicken soup. It’s a little salty but that’s how I like it. I squeeze a little fresh lemon into it. Authentic, fresh Greek food. No need to go to Greece, come to Bay Ridge instead.

Good food. Good service. Small cozy restaurant. Had the gyro and the spanakopita. Prices are a bit over the average.

Thankfully they moved their location closer to my house because this food is great. Growing up Greek, you appreciate well prepared food, and this place has it. Also they serve other food besides Greek which is great for younger kids.

Solid little Greek place where I've ordered takeout many times. Prices are reasonable and food is always tasty. I especially like the Greek appetizer platter.
Great Find!
Something Greek was a great find! The Pork gyro was a big hit it was absolutely delicious, the warm pita and lemon potatoes that accompanied the gyro were delicious! The pork souvlaki sticks were also delicious! Can't wait to go back, oh and they deliver!
