My girlfriends and I came in for dinner before a show and had a great experience. Our server Luke was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely keep coming back. Thank you Luke for a great dining experience.

Took my grandma to lunch and both of us were over the moon with the food. (A great selection of Fresh Seafood) Our Server Max went above and beyond to explain the menu and make wine recommendations. He also made a killer off menu cocktail. When I go out this is the level of service that will get 5 stars everytime

Venerable Portland restaurant serving authentic PSW seafood without drama. The star here is the seafood and there are no compromises. Of particular note is the sturgeon which was impeccable.

High quality and professional service at this excellent seafood restaurant downtown. A great night out with friends was made even better with delicious dishes of sturgeon picada, chowder & cioppino. A lively and warm atmosphere complemented our cold and tasty cocktails as well. Fantastic experience with top notch seafood. Jeff took great care of us the whole time. We all agreed that we will definitely be going back soon!

Cool atmosphere in a fun part of Portland. I would say the food is good but didn't blow me away. I liked the dungeness crab but I have had better. The shrimp and grits were good but not outstanding. The wait staff were excellent--helpful and sweet.

The clam chowder was by far the best I’ve ever had! Jordan waited on me; she was kind, offering helpful suggestions with a smile. The house red wine I drank was absolutely delicious. The restaurant offers a great ambiance as well!

I have to call out the Oysters to start. The display was fantastic and a great way to start a meal. But we loved everything we tried. We were just sorry we didn't sit at the bar as the cocktails were innovative and it was a well stocked shelf. Next time

We walked by Southpark while exploring downtown Portland. Lunchtime and this place looked very nice as an exception to all the fastfood type of restaurants we came across so far. Service (Jake) was very friendly and attent. We both decided to go for healthy and had a Ceasar salad and an Ahi Tuna salad. We can definitely recommend both. Completed with house wine (rose and white). For desert Jack recommended the Coconut Passion Fruit Tart. Very nice refreshing during a warm summer day. You don't need a spoon for it, forks are enough. Or perhaps add a knife. Wrt to price quality: prices are fair, we do feel the tart was overpriced. Equally -disclaimer- we have not spend enough time in Portland to compare the prices.

The Alaskan Halibut was prepared perfectly. The peas, mushrooms, pinole, and the hint of mint was spot on. The bread was complimentary to soak up the puree.

So glad to have this restaurant survive C-19 fallout. Traditionally this restaurant is a Portland iconic eatery with an open floor plan, high ceilings and plenty of room to enjoy while being served food from a classic northwest cuisine menu. The oyster are fresh, delicious with several varieties. The fish and chips are better than most prepared in England. The prices are moderate to high end. The value is reasonable. The location is a comfortable walking distance to the symphony, museum, and park.

We had a reservation for our group and were seated quickly. Waiter was super friendly and helpful with answering our questions. The food was good, even to the sole non-seafood person in the group (me) - steak was great.

Beware they charge 20% to gratuity and you can't take it off also charge another 3% if you use your credit card don't eat the fish and fries a whole plate of fries not even good or worth eating brussel sprouts should have been simple yummy good they used too much balsamic hard to eat them and a tartar sauce is sub par bread and butter was good

I called ahead for an event night at the Schnitz, dinner before. Our group is 12 deep and spoke to Caleb for his guidance on how to make the nite excellent for guests and staff. Caleb was locked on point and provided me with timeline and a great table to reserve, I ended that comversation feeling more dialed in, his intel was pro all the way!

Where else can you get seven glasses of rose for $42? (Happy Hour prices.) Add a fantastic Caesar salad, citrus cured lox and octopus salad, and it's a party. We noticed they have a pantry now, so you can take home the delicious seeded crackers, focaccia and make at home meals. Fantastic place for a wide selection of well prepared dishes.

The food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious, but our server, Ricki, made our night! Ricki was delightful and took great care of us. What a great evening! We'll be back!

We went to Southpark Seafood after going to an event in downtown Portland. The restaurant was not busy, and we were waited on fairly quickly. Each of our meals cost about $ 28.00. the total bill was $ 109.50. When the bill came, it said $ 134.68 so I added a $ 26.00 tip even though the food wasn't that great, servings were small, the baked oysters were $18 and was only 4 small oysters baked in individual small cups with a cream sauce and did not include the side salad ($10) and the service wasn't that great either, but I try to support the servers. I didn't notice that they had already added a 20% tip of $ 21.90 and an extra 2.5% charge of $ 3.28 for using a credit card. They didn't mention either of these extra charges. So, including their included tip, I ended up leaving a total tip of $47.90 for the server and extra income for the restaurant of $ 3.28. bringing a meal of $ 109.50 up to $ 160.68. I looked at the bill later and noticed these additional charges. Seemed like a rip-off to me. Won't be going there again. I can see now why it wasn't very busy.

We came in for lunch with friends including three kids. Kayla gave great food recommendations and was incredibly patient as we took our sweet time to order.

My spouse and I found our new place for road trips for good food in Portland. South Park Seafood. I guess it has been around for many years but it’s the first we had heard of it. We started with a dozen fresh oysters (3 different kinds) from Washington. We then shared the grilled swordfish which was served with black rice, coconut purée, snap peas cilantro and mint. It was cooked perfectly and the flavors went so well together. We ended with the cheese and smoked fish board, smoked trout, citrus cured steelhead lox and halibut cheek dip, with house made potato crackers. We were stuffed, though probably would have kept exploring the menu, but our parking time was running out. This is located on Salmon street behind and kitty-corner to the Schnitzer Concert Hall. Our server Brian was outstanding!

This place took my trip over the top. The clam chowder is truly the best I have ever had and the fish and chips were amazing. I think the tartar sauce that came with the fish must have been house mode because it tasted fresh and had layers of flavor. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. I likes this place so much, I went the next day again for happy hour!

Wwe had a great dinner and our service with Night B was top level! Fresh oysters, perfectly timed appetizers and dinner, salmon cooked so tender and egg not creme Brule was a real treat! Definitely coming back! Great for family, date night or even a client dinner!

We had a great meal and wonderful experience with veteran waiter Tom. He was engaging and fun - highly recommend this restaurant as they have a varied selection.

Atmosphere casual. Waitstaff is excellent. Food is OK. Ordered mussels and received clams with no explanation tho. Ciopinno was so-so in flavor. Will likely try a different restaurant next time.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. I had the sturgeon piccata and my wife had spicy shrimp and grits. Brian, our server, helped us with food and wine recommendations and was spot on and perfectly paced.

My family came in for lunch because my daughter is obsessed with their house made gelato and sorbet. Regina was fantastic as our server and the food was delicious as always!

Just had beet salad, paella and espresso stack for dessert. Everything extremely good!! Aside from the high quality of the food our waitress was the best I have had in years. Excellent recommendations, attentive, fun, perfect timing on checking in on us.

Not recommended. Spicy shrimp pasta was rubberry. Fish and Chips were basic at best. And the Chowder, last cup I will have. I got sick!

Delicious. We wanted seafood for dinner. Nice drink and wine selection. Waiter was helpful and based on our tastes, recommended the Smoked Seafood + Artisan Cheese Board. Great suggestion, delicious. Shrimp cocktail had good sized shrimp and was fresh the a cocktail sauce with a little kick to it. Salads were fresh, and the Salmon entree and Halibut were delicious. One of our party had allergy concerns, and the waiter and kitchen handled that with a smile. Too stuffed for dessert. The restaurant has various sections, and it lends itself to a great atmosphere. The weather was nice enough to eat at the tables set up outside, but Portland's unfortunate homeless problem made us more comfortable with eating inside, although others were eating outside.

First of all, my wife and I travel a lot and love fine dining. We live in Portland and we had dinner at this restaurant several times. We are not the typical complaining guests. BUT, every time we had dinner at this restaurant - was Not a good experience. Last time we had dinner here: 4/02/23. 1) Server was Not friendly from the beginning. He was rude. We had an Outside (very cold) table, but we were prepared. 2) Inside we saw several tables available - not offered when we got in ! 3) My cocktail was outstanding ! 4) My wife's Chardonnay was sour and very bad. She didn't complain though.....She didn't ask for another drink. 5) She had tuna - it was OK, no complains. 6) I had halibut - Very Small portion, and the corn and pees - Not a good choice, on my opinion. Overpriced and not what I expected. We left a tip (12%) even though we think he didn't deserve ANY. I don't think we will ever come back to your establishment.

This is an outstanding dinning experience. A charming, welcoming environment, and our server, Ricky, was the perfect guide. The menu is creative, interesting, and delicious all the way through. Supported by an excellent wine list, this would be on my list of must visit restaurants in Portland.

It was ok. Food was tasty and staff friendly, but small portions for price was off putting. We’d probably choose somewhere else next time.

I had the BEST clam chowder. Clams are in a delicate broth with pillowy gnocchi. Then the tuna poke salad didn’t disappoint with LOVELY tuna from Hawaii and creamy avocado. It may have been the nicest lunch I’ve ever had. My waitress was attentive and genuinely delighted that I loved my lunch so thoroughly. Thank you Portland for the beautiful lunch.

We went with our friends to celebrate our friends’ wedding which we couldn’t attend. Luckily the fine food, cocktails, wine, and service more than up for our absence. Our server Steve was very kind and knowledgeable. Among the standout dishes were the oysters, fish board, cheese board, chowder, and brussel sprouts. Can’t wait to visit again!

We visited Southpark Seafood for the first time on January 6, 2024, and had an exceptional experience thanks to Matthew, our server and amazing bartender. He took incredible care of us and made us feel so welcome with his friendly smile and outstanding service. Matthew’s menu knowledge was impressive—he recommended the sturgeon with lemon caper sauce and chanterelles, which was absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, we tried the house-made lemon cheesecake, and it was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Thank you, Matthew, for making our visit unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

We had much better expectation but got very disappointed experience. We ordered Salad, Ceviche and Paella. Began with Ceviche mixed with green bean which was kind odd. When $56 Paella arrives we were shocked because this meant for two people's paella was only about 12 inches in diameter, with 2 pieces white fish, 6 pieces shrimps, 10 claims and hand full of peas on top of the rice. It has heavy fishy smell and did not taste well. The server has sweater shirt which made us thought he was one of the customers rather than waiter. After $108 before tip, we felt we would not go back again.

We had a delicious meal here. The clam chowder was really unique with the clams in their shells in the broth. It was very good. The Caesar salad was excellent with very pretty tint shaved Parmesan cheese on top. The mixed green salad was excellent as well with a nice variety of greens. But the real hits of the meal were the sturgeon piccata and salmon was asked to be made piccata too. Perfectly cooked, awesome piccata sauce and mashed potatoes. Truly great. Very attentive service too. A real surprise hit for us.

I stopped in with my friend. We ordered a number of things from the regular and happy hour menus. Our server, Stephen, was very knowledgeable about the food and provided assistance with wine pairings. Great experience.

Lovely little restaurant, with fabulous staff & serving delicious food. This is amazing; I can't wait to return so I can have it again!! highly recommend Southpark Seafood restaurant

Had a great time at Southpark. The seafood charcuterie board was one of the best boards I had. Sit at the bar so Berto and Luna look after you. They were super attentive and creative with their cocktails.

We started with oysters-3 different varieties served with lemon, cider vinegar, and fresh shaved horseradish. Delicious! The mixed green salad was artfully plated, beautifully fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The gentlemen enjoyed cioppino with a variety of tender seafood in a rich, flavorful red sauce, perfect for dipping the freshly baked bread that was offered. We women had spicy shrimp and grits, perfect level of heat! Great wine selections from local vineyards, strong espresso, and delicious desserts!

IMHO, this place has the best burger in Portland. Yep! It’s a seafood restaurant. And the seafood is absolutely delicious as well. The bartenders were super helpful navigating wine pairings. Highly recommend!

I had the shrimp and grits and mixed greens. All were excellent! The service was great as well. It was easy to make reservations on open table.

South Park has been a favorite of mine for years because it has the best seafood in the city. The shrimp is excellent as well as the clam chowder and the Brussel sprouts……yum Our server Jake was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable, professional with a great sense of humor. Next time I come I will ask for Jake as my server.

So fun at the bar! Roberto and Luna were the best! Get the fish board, add cheese! Have a handmade cocktail, you will not be disappointed!

Great food and even better service. Riki was the best server I've seen in years! So happy with the whole experience. Highly recommend bubbled and bivalves and the picata.

This is the most amazing food and our server was so attentive! @Kayla is the best!! The desert, the apps, the swordfish!!!

Brianna was amazing! She took great care of our group of 12 for a special birthday dinner and didn’t miss a beat! She’s amazing, thank you Brianna!

Absolutely delicious. Had fish and chips and dungenus crab roll. The service was excellent and knowledgeable. Was a beautiful day and the had outdoor seating

We visited South Park Seafood on a Thursday evening in December. Not too busy, so no waiting, and the atmosphere was a bit more subdued than the bustle we remembered from a visit several years ago. But wow the food was still DEEEElicious! Interesting flavors and beautifully prepared. And the wine flights were varied and interesting and all the vintages were very good. Our server was super friendly and accommodating. This is one of our favorite dining spots in Portland and we were happy to see it is holding its own despite the passage of time.

Food is always outstanding. So is the service. Lee and Anjali are always so kind and welcoming. Really enjoy coming here!

We were walking back to the hotel after going to the Art Museum and happened upon Southpark. We had not expected to have a large lunch with dessert but happy we stopped here. We had the fish and chips; salad with crab; and ahi tuna poke. All three were delicious. There was quite a nice selection on the menu. The server described the desserts and they were difficult to pass up so we shared the lemon pot de creme and the banana bread pudding. Delicious and a nice twist on both. Highly recommend.

Thank you for the exceptional experience, Stephen was the best! My friend even got a birthday card from the staff. The prawn cocktail, Brussel sprouts & shrimp salad were delish! The wine flight was fun & informative. The atmosphere was perfect for my friends birthday, thank you!

The food was delicious! I had oysters (small pacific coast oyster, but very flavorful), dungeonis crab, and shrimp. It was all very tasty! The environment was lovely and the music was great! The service was spot on and I loved every minute. Lunch was $80 though. I think it was worth it, but bear in mind, this was one appetizer and a cappuccino.

Food was excellent. Oysters, sturgeon, and swordfish all top notch. Service (Briana) was excellent. Three n/a beers and one n/a cider offered which was nice to see. (The cider was really good!) We were dressed more casually than I would normally be and it was fine.

Southpark Seafood is in the entertainment district of Portland and rich with theatre and concert goers. Their kitchen is scheduled around start/end times for these events as you might imagine. And reservations are highly recommended. Tim, a veteran server, guided us thru the menu. And, after he said they didn't have fish n' chips on the menu on Fridays (?...he offered a so called explanation). he suggested the sturgeon. I wanted the halibut but as my wife had beaten me to it I went with his suggestion. And, was he ever right. The smallish piece over mashers with a lite gravy was so tasty. Far too many capers...the salt would have killed the fish. The halibut was, what can I say, halibut as it should be in Portland. Only negative was the enforced 20% grat AND the mandatory 2.5% credit card fee. This has gotten out of control, does management think their guests are scofflaws about to jump the check? Granted, this is all explained on their website, I won't return because of this enforced gratuity. Outrageous. Tim, was excellent.

Food was amazing! All of the fish was perfectly cooked, apps were amazing, drinks were refreshing. But especially the service, our server Brianna guided us through the menu and made the experience special.

We were recommended this as the "best seafood in downtown Portland" by our walking tour guide and it was so true! I will remember the delicious clam chowder and be coming back for it next time I visit this city!

Great experience! Came here on recommendation from friends and wasn’t disappointed. Food was phenomenal and staff was world-class attentive. Shoutout to our server, Ricky. Very on-it through whole service- felt like she was telepathically reading my every desire. Great recommendation on the Chippino. Will be back!!!

Food was incredible! The service was super quick and efficient. The place was clean and we were able to get a table within 5 min.

Perfect service, Roberto was amazing. He attended to every preference. I never had to wait for my drink which I appreciated We started with oysters which were really delicious. Roberto was so attentive to organizing our cocktails and wine with our starters and then our entrées. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. We had crab rolls and salmon which were cooked and prepared beautifully . I just believe that exceptional service merits praise and Roberto deserves a ton of it. Kudos to Southpark for service and food. We will be back.

We made last minute reservations on Dec 23rd fir my hubby s 60th bday. The restaurant that we originally had booked closed due to the weather. It was great at this restaurant stayed open and they were plenty of folks dining there is so many places or scared of the weather. We had great service starting from calling to get the reservation, calling to make sure they were still open, being seated and we had a great wait person. Our food was delicious especially the clam chowder! The fresh warm bread was yummy and they brought a second plate without a charge(which is an anomaly these days)! My risotto was unbelievably good. My husband loved his bread pudding for dessert. Great overall experience and will definitely be back

We went for a late lunch. We easily found a parking place nearby. I am gluten-free, and my husband is not. Though there is no gf menu or indications on the menu, the waiter knowledgeably made numerous recommendations. My husband had the fish & chips. I had the clam chowder minus the gnocchi and fries. The fish & chips were hot & tasty. The breading on the fish was crispy, and the fries were thinly fresh-cut. The clam chowder was delicious. Lots of clams and bacon in a tasty potato base. 8 clams on the shell included in the bowl. It was so satisfying on a Spring day. Prices were a little high but the quality of the food and service were outstanding.

Large restaurant in downtown Portland. Good vibe, good service, good food. Expensive as everything in Portland. We had seats at the bar, perfect if you are a couple. The ceviche and the crab rolls were great, as were the halibut and the dessert. Only point of attention, dont serve pinot noir tasting flights at 23 degrees celcius. Therefore dont order this.

Very lax service. I ordered shrimp & grits. They were tasteless and I could not even finish the meal. We did have a ceaser salad and it was great. My husband had claims and fries which were mediocre. We would not go back.

I found the South Park seafood website before coming to Portland for a short visit. It was definitely on my must do list and it did not disappoint. I tried a little bit of many things, including their raw oysters, the Dungeness crab cocktail, and the most amazing New England clam chowder I have ever had in my life, I’d like to consider myself a foodie, but I am not often in a situation where something I eat is life-changing or memorable for the rest of my life and I will tell you that this soup was absolutely just that….AMAZING. It was so good. I came back the next night just to have it again after a long day, that and their focaccia was just what I needed at that moment. However, their entire menu is spectacular, including their beer and wine selection, which is fun to try things from the local area. I can’t recommend it the service and the bartenders were so attentive and kind. This would be the best place for casual nights out, date night or even celebrations. I can’t recommend it enough.

I ordered a salad with the Dungeness crab on top $19 for the Dungeness crab and it was terrible it had no flavor it was not lump it was just shredded and nobody came by to ask how I felt about the meal I was hungry so I ate it and now I am complaining about it very disappointing

We were pressed for time and the maitrede got us a table right away on a very busy night and time. The food was delicious, I had Ciopinno and my sister had the Sturgeon. I had Baked Oysters that were great too, the serving dish could have been a bit cooler. But what can you do with cast iron 🤷♂️.

Southpark is our go-to restaurant when we're going to the Schnitz or Portland 5. We had our usual always stupendous crab rolls and selections from the appetizer list and a cheese board with lox. The waiter, Luke, helped us.choose and was wonderfully attentive. Thanks

All the good we ordered were delicious - oysters, clam chowder, calamari, fish and chips plus WA wine and beer! Our server was very helpful. We will definitely go back egff we n we go back to Portland and will recommend the place.

Stephen D. was our waiter, incredibly knowledgeable, great recommendations & pairings. Stellar service overall, the food was refreshing & delicious along w/ the atmosphere. Would recommend 10 times out of 10.

We had the most wonderful lunch here!! The food was incredibly delicious! The Dungeness Crab Roll, Clam Chowder, and Mushroom Cream Puffs were to die for!! Our server, Molly, was one of the best servers we’ve ever had; she made the meal so special! In addition to the wonderful food and service, the location is fabulous and the entire staff was so welcoming; they really made us feel appreciated. Be sure to stop by the Farmer’s Market on Wednesdays, across the street from the restaurant. The floral bouquets are beautiful.

I was visiting college friends in Portland a few weeks ago, and we had dinner at Southpark Seafood. It was such a fantastic meal! Our server was Luke, and he was superb. He assisted us in navigating the menu (it was our first time at the restaurant) and guided us in our wine choices. He was patient and attentive and seemed genuinely committed to ensuring we all had a wonderful time. I had the grilled Branzino, which was DELICIOUS, and my friends each had halibut and bacon-wrapped cod. I had a Muscadet with my meal, and it was a perfect pairing. The three of us shared a beet salad and brussels sprouts, too. We finished with a rhubarb crisp and decaf coffees. Everything was very fresh, very well-prepared, and absolutely DELECTABLE! The atmosphere of the restaurant is open and airy yet welcoming, and, along with Luke, the entire staff made us feel comfortable during our stay. We were able to linger long after our meal, talking and catching up, until the restaurant closed. It was lovely to not feel rushed or pushed to leave. I really appreciate everyone at Southpark Seafood helping to make my visit with my friends so enjoyable. Good food and good times with good friends—I can’t ask for more than that! Thank you for a great meal!

A consistent, delicious and welcoming environment with one of the best Shrimp Ceasar Salads in Portland. Rikki is a delight and has always provided fantastic service making it one of the reasons for a return visit as she even remembers our favorite meals and drinks. The clam chowder is also not to be missed especially with the fresh basked foccacia.

We were intending to go to another restaurant down the street but as we walked past Southpark Seafood we decided to try it. Our spontaneity was awarded! From the warm and friendly host right through dessert, everything was amazing. And just when many restaurants are experiencing bad service and slow food preparation, somehow Southpark has neither. We now have a new favorite seafood restaurant.

Came on a Monday night and it was decently busy. Staff was amicable and quick to serve. Ambiance was great, dimmed lighting and soft music in the background. Salmon was good, moist. Good menu selection.

High volume establishment providing outstanding service and high food quality. The place was packed on a Monday night but the attentiveness and ticket times were perfect. Loved the bartenders all wearing chef coats.

Came in for the shrimp cocktail and a salad sat at the bar! Jeff was great as was the shrimp cocktail! We can’t wait to come back soon

My family was in Portland for a wedding. One free night we wanted seafood. So happy we found Southpark Seafood. Everyone truly enjoyed their meal. My daughter and I split the grilled octopus and beet salad. Both delicious. We shared the Paella. Everything on the platter was cooked perfectly. The sablefish was extraordinary. I took tiny bites so it would last longer. Now back in Chicago, I am going to try and recreate the meal😁😋

Excellent! Good food and great service! A good meal a rainy day! Thank you Oregon for many experiences! Tomorrow we leave and will not forget Portland!

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! Every bite was delicious. I had the King Salmon and my family had the fish and chips and the swordfish. What made the evening even better was our server, Brian. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations that did not disappoint. His excellent service really made the amazing. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great seafood and outstanding service.

Our server Anjuli helped guide us to amazing dishes. Try the oysters, Brussels, chowder! Great spot!

I had such a lovely evening sitting at the bar solo. Jeff welcomed me and made me feel at home. The cocktails were so tasty and the food was perfect. What really made it all so special was the warm exceptional service Jeff provided.

I stumbled on this spot while visiting family in the area—-so glad I did! I was out solo and grabbed a spot at the bar. I knew I wanted oysters and Jeff suggested them with the Muscadet. PERFECTION!! It was delicious and Jeff was so great, he seriously lightened my mood after a long weekend. If you're in Portland check out Southpark Seafood.

Our fabulous server Ricki gave us excellent food and drink suggestions. The food was outstanding. This was the best seafood we’ve had on our trip to the USA. We love our seafood in Australia and this restaurant did not disappoint! Highly recommended, and if you’re lucky enough to get Ricky as your server - you’ll be back!

Had a great meal at Southpark Seafood. We got there at the end of happy hour and couldn't resist trying several small plates: the salmon spread, the shrimp cocktail, and the oysters. The amazing house bread was so great, also. For our mains we had the piccatta, and two different salads. Our server Ricky kept our drinks full and we got honest reviews of several things we were trying to decide between...and the recommendations were completely on point! The ONLY negative is that we were desperate to have the egg nog creme Brule we haven't stopped talking about since we had it last year....only to find out it isn't a regular dessert menu item. Fingers crossed as we head into December we will get another chance at it, it was seriously special!

We were staying in downtown Portland and were looking for a place for appetizers and drinks before a concert. We came across South Park as we were wandering around downtown. The building is super cool and the bar is marked by a martini glass 🍸 easy to find. First impression sets the tone we walked in and were greeted immediately by Lee the bartender . Lee was very friendly and welcoming, and immediately took our drink order . We ordered a few of the house drinks the marionberry mule, house of bourbon, and black Manhattan, and espresso martini for dessert ( made with real espresso!) they were all delicious!! Lee also gave us some recommendations on apps. You can't go wrong with the smoked fish board, the mushroom puffs and the Brussel sprouts. We had a great time sitting at the bar chatting with other patrons and Lee as she did her thing. What a wonderful experience. Great food & Great service still lives! Thanks Lee!! We will definitely be back when we are in Portland!

I USED to think quite highly of this restaurant. That said, I will NEVER be eating here again. The primary reason is their new tip policy. They have the audacity to add a mandatory 20% tip on top of the bill, for everyone, including solo diners. This flies in the face for the reason for tipping in the first place. The clam chowder USED to be amazing. Not any more…….their quality control has clearly gone downhill. I ordered a small clam chowder. It arrived way too thick with about 18 clams. There were so many clams I could barely find the overly thick clam chowder. I might give them a pass on the clam chowder, maybe they were just having a bad night. The automatic 20% tip? Inexcusable. I will NEVER eat here again. One day this restaurant will go out of business. We all know one of the big reasons this will happen.

If you visit Portland, you need to eat at the Southpark Portland for dinner. Excellent customer service and the food was delicious. They have an excellent selection for appetizers.

Brought here by a family member for dinner (5/8/22) who was hoping for the best but unfortunately fell short. Let me be clear that the only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the service. It was outstanding! The young lady (whose name escaped me) was super friendly, attentive, knowledgeable about wine, and most of all, forgiving when something wasn't up to par. She even comped a full bottle of wine that "seemed" to have turned. We spent $250 for four people so it didn't break the bank but it was a little on the pricy side for the quality of food. If I lived in Portland I would definitely shop around before returning to Southpark, but only because of the food. The service was on-point!

Fantastic Caesar salad and the best service from Rikkie!! She was very attentive and gave us great advice on what drinks to order. Thanks Rikkie!!

Mathew A is an incredible host. Takes pride in every aspect of his role. Highly recommend this establishment. So glad we stumbled upon this place

Amazing spot for lunch or dinner. Has a very relaxed and business person atmosphere. If you need a meeting or family eats this is the spot

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here Saturday night and had a wonderful experience. We sat at the bar and were kindly greeted by Jeff and he provided us excellent service from start to finish. We appreciated his banter and great conversation. The fish and chips were outstanding (Jeff’s recommendation) and we enjoyed the mixed greens salad and oyster shooters. I can’t believe this was the first time we’d been into Southpark Seafood. We will most certainly be back!

I ate here for lunch and dinner while in Portland for a conference. The crab roll was awesome and the salmon was cooked perfectly.

I took my mom here when she was visiting and we had a wonderful time. Our server Jordan was great! Super friendly and knowledgeable. The seafood is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the oysters and smoked fish board. Also the brussel sprouts and particularly the warm plum cake are to die for. I will definitely go back!

Excellent Service - Excellent Food. Yes it's a little pricey, but worth every penny. The quality of food was definitely top-notch. The salmon was delicious - and whoever thought to combine barley, corn, zucchini, and onions is brilliant - what a hearty delicious base, so much more flavor than just plain rice. Great meal!

Brianna dealt with the chaos of serving our large party and gave us great recommendations and service. The food and drinks were outstanding particularly the ceviche, chowder, and brussel sprouts. Don’t skimp on dessert! The gelato and cheese cake were tremendous! We will be back!!!

We came here after hitting a few shops in the area. They were able to get us seated quickly and the food/wine was amazing! Our server Kayla took such good care of us & suggested a bottle of Sav Blanc that I’ve been thinking about ever since. Would recommend you try the crab rolls, or literally anything else, it’s all amazing. Thank you for an awesome end to our girls day! We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful food and fantastic service! Possibly the best clam chowder I've ever had. I'm not one to eat out alone but they made it quite enjoyable.

Busy at lunchtime but I wonder if this is more for a convenience, location, rather than the food. The crab roll was uninspiring with a mediocre amount of crab which wasn’t very tasty. The Caesar salad was only lightly dressed, and the lettuce less than crisp. Past the manager for a refill of coffee, and he rewarked I’ll get that right away. About five minutes later we need to ask the server for the same.

I had a very enjoyable and relaxing dinner with my son and his GF at Southpark Seafood. The decor is beautiful without being uncomfortably stuffy. We had several appetizers including the assorted cheese and Brussels sprouts. I had the swordfish, the others had salmon and fish and chips. The flavors in each dish were perfect, not overwhelming but paired with spices and sauces that complimented the fish. Everything was so fresh! We had amazing service with Brian - he knew all the details and flavors of each item we asked about. He is also so positive and provides the best in customer service. I’ll be back Southpark!

Great location for pre show dinner at the Schnitzer Concert Hall. Nice night, large windows open, sat inside but felt part of the city. Got there right before 5 and got Happy Hour pricing (weekday) on a good part of our meal. Wife had a Marionberry Mule and I had a glass of house white, both were very good. She had a Caesar salad with lump crab which tasted sweet and fresh. I had the clam chowder (next tome a whole bowl!) with real clams in the shell, fresh mini dumplings, plus bacon and other seasonings in a delicious broth. I also had a crab salad sandwich…just the right amount, though I was jealous of my wife’s crab! Topped it off with an espresso martini and the S’mores cake, perfect finish! Stephen (D) was very attentive and made good suggestions. We will definitely go back next time we are in the area!

I ordered the Cioppino Seafod Stew. The Dungeness Crab was plentiful and prominent in the presentation . The broth was a simple tomatoe soup like taste, yet satisfying. I did not detect any saffron . I would say however, our server was superior. You will be lucky if your server is Robertito, he was attentive, and quick to respond to our every request.

Service from Stephen D was excellent. He was able to expertly recommend wine pairings as well as great food options. Everything was delicious as always at Southpark, but great service is definitely a plus.

Everything was just okay. Hostess was very nice. I had the fish and chips. The fish was very good, great batter and crispy, but the fries were overly seasoned, so not traditional fish and chips. Service was okay, but not great - seemed a bit snarky. Never got the bread we asked for. Cocktails/wine are very small - especially for the price.

We are so glad we found Southpark while driving through Portland. Your restaurant is charming. We especially loved the large windows, friendly staff and delicious food. Brianna was our server and she is delightful.

We shared appetizers and the Dungeness crab roll was outstanding! The smoked fish plate was very good. Halibut fish was very good but a small portion . Atmosphere very good

The food at SouthPark is always fresh and the service is most attentive. Some items feel pricey but are usually competitive for downtown Portland. Happy hour is 20% off the full menu. I ALWAYS enjoy eating here.

I have never been so rudely treated by a server. The disrespect my friends and I received at lunch was unbelievable!! The food was good, but I can't find anything good to say about the server. He spoiled our lunch!

It said on the feedback form to write to you if things did not go well with our meal, and I am doing that. We ordered from the fish fry menu. My husband got cod and the breading was so thick and greasy he stopped eating it. He ordered French fries and got macaroni salad. The French fries were brought three quarters of the way through his meal, and it was a large order, so he ate very few of them. I ordered pan fried cod because I am gluten free and told the waiter that. I also ordered tartar sauce. I got the remoulade instead. My meal also arrived with a roll on my plate. No one seemed to track the information I was gluten free. [If this is someone who has celiac disease, you would have to make the order because of cross contamination from the roll.] I ordered mashed potatoes, advertised as Yukon Gold whipped potatoes, and they were clearly instant mashed potatoes. I told the waiter and he said, "No," and walked away. I looked online, and sure enough, there are instant Yukon Gold available from Reeser Foods. All three people in my party tasted the potatoes and we all agreed these were instant potatoes out of a box. As far as the tartar sauce, I was discouraged at that point and did not bother with correcting it. You are represented as a very upscale seafood restaurant. Why would you serve instant mashed potatoes? And please do not write to me to tell me they are not. I am known for my great cooking and I make mashed potatoes, and also go to restaurants who make them from real potatoes so I know the difference. I have written to you in the past over and over because I have tried for years, 25 years, to eat at your restaurant, and I have been gluten free since 2011. I keep coming back asking you to consider dietary restrictions on your menu. It does not happen. I have asked repeatedly for you to carry g-f pasta, g-f bread, dairy free desserts, and corn free items, and it has fallen on deaf ears. I cannot depend on you having things on the menu I can eat, and I certainly cannot have dessert at your restaurant. I try again about once a year and find I have been ignored again. I can see the feedback cards I have written have not made an impact. Since I have no faith this will make an impact, since you have people write their negative feedback to one address and their positive feedback to another, I am sending this feedback to you and to the other address as well so it clearly is heard! It is time your upscale classy restaurant gets it together about food allergies and sensitivities and does as well as many restaurants do in Portland, restaurants which often cost a lot less. Thank you for reading and taking heed this time. The only way I will be back is if I hear you are now considering food allergies and sensitivities on your menu, and you advertise it.

Our meal was delicious. I loved the corn ravioli starter and the the blueberry buckle cake. Our server, Ricky, was amazing. She was personable and on top of our needs, made great recommendations and was so genuine. She really made the dining experience delightful.

Southpark is a big, airy restaurant and bar focusssing on seafood, just a short walk from Pioneer Courthouse Square. I went there for dinner, and absolutely would return next time I'm in Portland. It's some of the best seafood I've had in the US. They also have some good, creative cocktails. I started with the clam chowder, made with local clams which were fresh and creamy. With due regards to Boston, this might be the best clam chowder I've ever had. A bit of assembly is required, as the soup was served with 4 medium clams in the shell atop. But the broth had large hunks of braised bacon and gnocchi instead of potato chunk. The gnocchi is inspired--so much softer than normal potatos. The broth was more soupy than creamy, but the whole thing with the added clams was mind-blowing good. I followed the chowder with 2 oyster shooters. Each oyster was large enough to take 1/2 of a shot gloss, and served with a dollop of cocktail sauce carrying enough zing to notice but not overwhelm. This was more umami, delicious goodness. Paired with the food, I had an Optical Illusion cocktail. It was essentially a rum Manhattan with grenadine as well. It was very well made and great, every bit a compliment to the food. In all, this is not an inexpensive restaurant, but the fresheness of the food and quality of the preparation makes it a dinner very worthwhile if you like terrific seafood. The service matches this, too, with highly competent and engaging wait staff ready to make good recommendations. Highly recommend.

I had an incredible experience at southpark seafood and can’t recommend it enough! The food was absolutely divine—every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From appetizers to desserts, everything was a hit. The drink menu was equally impressive, with a great selection of cocktails, wines, and craft beers that paired perfectly with the meal. The atmosphere was the cherry on top—cozy yet vibrant, with stylish decor, warm lighting, and a welcoming vibe that made the evening feel special. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall charm. Five stars all the way for this gem!

Great service. Helpful explanation of menu and selection of wine. Kudos to the kitchen for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

The food was delicious and generous portions. The house wine was incredible- both red and white. Our server Roberto M was helpful with what to order and very attentive. We can’t wait to go back to happy hour at Southpark Seafood again!

Absolutely a first class experience. Food amazing, drinks delicious and desert was on point. Our server Luke did an outstanding job explaining the items on menu. Everything was delicious from the fresh oysters to the bread and butter to the blackberry tart desert. I will be here next time I’m in town. I give 100% recommendation.

I recently dined at Southpark Seafood in Portland, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. My wife and I planned a rare date night—something we don’t get to do often with two little ones at home—and it turned out to be a night well spent. I ordered the sturgeon, which was recommended by Lee, the bartender who also happened to be our server. She was amazing—kind, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. Her suggestion was absolutely spot on. The sturgeon was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, one of the best seafood dishes I’ve ever had. Lee’s warmth and professionalism truly elevated the experience. She made us feel so welcome, and her enthusiasm for the food and drinks was infectious. It’s rare to find such a combination of outstanding service and incredible food, but Southpark Seafood nailed it. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, making it the perfect spot for a long-overdue date night. I highly recommend this place, whether you’re a local or just visiting. It’s a gem, and we’ll definitely be back!

Kayla was phenomenal! She answered every question we had to make the best decision for dinner. She recommended the perfect wine too. Excellent service and food! She also told us of the spots to see while visiting the area.

Wow. I have eaten in restaurants all over the world. This was one of the best meals I have had out in years. Where do I begin? Atmosphere, casual but elegant. Comfortable, not stuffy. They were busy…a really good sign. I read almost all the reviews. Frankly, I don’t understand the bad reviews. I do agree that Luke is an amazing server. Based on the reviews, Luke and Roberto are practically famous, and Luke was indeed an amazing server. We started with fries and baked oysters. My God! The baked oysters! I don’t even know what to say, except they were one of the best things I have ever eaten in a restaurant. The fries…perfect. In fact, so good we were picking the bits off the plate. Then, let’s talk wine. Highly recommend the Pinot noir flight. If you’re visiting Oregon, Pinot noir is what you should be drinking and the selections in the flight were superb. Okay - entrees..my partner had the sturgeon piccata and I had swordfish with local squash and fried sage. These were perfection…and you know, there’s a lot of “good” food out there. This food was way beyond good, it was creative, thoughtful, like someone really thought about putting these dishes together, and it showed. We just kept looking at each other and sting “OMG this is amazing!” People in some reviews complained about portion size. Look people, this isn’t one of those restaurants. If you are wanting “endless” portions…go to one of those places, you know where they are! Last but not least..dessert. I NEVER order dessert. I ordered dessert because the whole meal was so amazing, I had to know what they were doing for dessert. Again, wow. I had a chocolate peppermint pavlova…at the whole darn thing and would have picked up my plate and licked it if I could have gotten away with that! Our total bill was about $200. I pulsed have happily paid twice that for the quality of the food and service. I live I. Olympia, WA and will be making a point to take the train down and visit this restaurant regularly. Thank you to everyone at Southpark Seafood for a meal I will always remember.

The fish in a city like Portland, my wife got the salmon which was delicious. I a very large crab rich in tasty pulp, the accompanying croutons and sauce were to fly away.

Absolutely phenomenal dinner! Amazing seafood and drinks. Second time here and both meals were incredible. Giovanni M was our server this time and they had such helpful advice on food and drinks! We had geoduck, oysters, dungeness crab roll, king salmon, and some phenomenal cocktails! Last time I was here, family also had a meat entree and quite enjoyed, so they have options for everyone in your party. Highly highly recommend!

South Park seafood is always an amazing experience. The food, the vibe and the people are A+. Brianna (our dope server) was an absolute dream. We were a group of 20 and she couldn’t have handled all our orders with more ease, humor and great advise. We are obsessed with this place

I can't remember if I have ever give a #1 rating. But the service here was so bad I would have given a zero if possible. Stopped in on the recommendation of a tour guide from a company I was reviewing for YouTube Initially I told the hostess I wss ordering take out. However, after paying for the food decided it would be cold by the time I got back to my location and immediately told hostess I would be dining in. I was seated and a waiter brought water to my table. I told him I initially was take out but had changed my mind. It should be noted it was around 2pm and only three other tables occupied inside and a couple outside. I noticed other tables were provided bread and butter so I waited to receive same. After 2 waiters passed me several times I tried to get one of their attention unsuccessfully. I finally got up found a waiter and asked for bread and butter. He obliged. However, I had no silverware. As I am trying to figure out how I'm supposed to put butter on bread without silverware another waiter walks by and drops silverware on the table without saying a word. Eventually the hostess brings my entree along with the side salad I ordered. I prefer to eat my salad first and then my meal. So, rather than eat my salad and have the meal get cold, which is what I wanted to avoid, I decide to take my salad with me and just ate my entree. I ordered the fish and chips. I must say the fish was excellent, probably the best I have had with an order of fish and chips. It was moist, cooked to perfection, and the coating was the exact level of crispness. The fries, however, were mostly hard and only a few decent enough to eat. I would have liked a glass of wine but NO ONE ever returned to my table to ask me if I wanted anything or if everything was ok. So, no wine. Finally, after finishing and it was clear I wasn't going to be helped by anyone I got up and went to the kitchen staff to ask for a to go box for my salad and was given one. Quite honestly I don't see how a restaurant stays in business with such rotten customer service. I never leave a tip under 20-25%. But, this time I felt the mandatory 15% take out gratuity was too much and left nothing additional!! I am going to contact the person from the tour company who recommended this place and suggest they stop doing so because as I was leaving I saw another person from the tour was also there. I hope they were treated better than me.

With apologies to Anthony's, Ivar's and Oyster Bar, this was the best clam chowder I've ever eaten. I found Portland sadly depressing on this recent visit on account of it's out of control urban troubles, but this was one of the few bright spots during our brief stay. Thanks, reviewers, for steering us here to meet up with family in the area. We were all delighted with our entrees, cocktails were spot on, and service was friendly and professional. The restaurant has the comfortable welcoming feel of a familiar oyster bar. Thanks, Southport Seafood, for a great meal!

We have lunch when everything else was closed. Food was great and the staff was excellent. The clam chowder is top notch.

We were visiting in Portland and chose this based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. We were able to park nearby. The area was well lighted. We had a reservation and we were seated immediately. Our server brought water and warm bread then took our drink orders. We each had different menu items and none of them were disappointing. Each dish was prepared just as expected. The food was served hot and portions were plentiful. I recommend this and would return again.

Food and service was great however forcing and imposing a 20% tip on a party of 3 is insane. A tip is what a custom feels a server has earned. Nowadays a typical bill for 2 people ranges from 75 to 100 plus so forcing customers a mandatory 20% tip plus the credit card fee to offset your business expenses is an insult ti me as a paying customer. These are not my employees

Maybe we caught them on a bad night, but I am surprised at the raves for this place. The menu was not at all extensive and the seafood did not taste especially fresh. Oysters were good but not great. The best part of our experience was probably our server, who offered very honest recommendations. Of particular negative note was the menu item described as "spicy shrimp," which would more accurately be described as barbecue shrimp. Portland has too many other better choices; would not return here.

This place was so good we came back 3X!! Seafood was very fresh and tasty and our server Ricky was superb!! Highly recommend.

Came in the other night. Never been before, had a nice time. The salmon and swordfish were highlights. We sat at the bar and Jeff is hilarious, and truly gets hospitality.

This is a great spot food was amazing and our server doc was great! I 100% recommend he was kind to our family and was patient with the kids!

My husband, teenage daughter and I went here for dinner. We asked the server for suggestions and she recommended the sturgeon piccata and the clam chowder. Both were excellent, as well as the brussel sprouts (slightly spicy, very yummy, good shared among three people). I don't remember what my husband ordered but he liked it. My daughter thought it was one of the best meals she's had. We ended with the Meyer lemon mousse cake, which was fantastic.

Absolutely delicious food. Would highly recommend. The crab rolls are a must. The oysters, Brussels sprouts and bass ceviche hit the spot. Best meal I’ve had in Portland. Our server Luke J was so friendly and helpful.

My husband and I ordered the fish & chips (3 pieces) and a caesar salad to share. Our waiter was prompt and did everything he should. The fish & chips came and I tasted a chip that was soggy and so salty I couldn't eat it. When I cut into the fish - there was a tiny amount of fish with a whole lot of coating. I complained to the manager and she brought us a new plate. OK, there was more fish inside the still plentiful coating but there was NO TASTE. They didn't salt the chips which were still soggy and tasteless and what little coleslaw there was (like 3 tbsp) was smothered with dressing. We couldn't eat our dinner. The caesar salad was mediocre at best because the dressing was bland and watery. I told the manager that this was the worse fish & chips I'd ever had but she made no move to alter the price for us. We tipped the waiter as it wasn't his fault but I'll never go back. I also shared our experience with the hotel that had recommended this place.

We came for networking happy hour after day 1 of the #digitalsummit 2024 . Brianna was amazing bartender and helped us with recommendations for top restaurants in the area while we’re here for the summit. She was so kind and generous. Food was top tier and drinks were great!! Highly recommended when you are in downtown Portland.

We are here visiting to participate in the hands across the bridge event. Last night we had the most amazing dinner. The seafood feast appetizer...so fresh and delicious. For our entre we had halibut and the shrimp and grits all which were perfect cooked. Our server Tom S. was very attentive and made great suggestions. By far one of the best server we e had in quite some time. Thank you Tom

We came here to celebrate our anniversary and the experience couldn’t have been better. A huge shoutout to bartenders Jeff and Anj—they were friendly, attentive, and made amazing drinks that really elevated our evening. They made us feel welcomed and celebrated, which meant a lot to us. Great service, great vibes, and a memorable anniversary. We’ll definitely be back!

Matt at the bar was the highlight of the experience. The food was outstanding and the drinks menu was too. The menu had enough variety, yet gave me an opportunity to completely shrimp out.

A very tasteless prawn salad. We may have chosen badly and they did take money off the bill, but was disappointed after reading good reviews

Our server Max is very knowledgeable about the menu and made our night. Very patient with our table.

This is a new review because my last one was years ago. Southpark changed due to the pandemic and other reasons, and modified their menus and hours in the past few years. We always have liked this restaurant, but it was less attractive to us for the last couple of years. Well, it is back and is a great seafood restaurant and is open in the afternoon after matinee Sunday symphony performances. My wife and I both had the "Bubbles and Bi-valves" appetizer with three oysters on the half shell (three different varieties with grated horseradish and vinaigrette) and they were excellent. Complimentary bread is served (and it is really very good bread). My wife had the cioppino and I had the Dungeness crab roll and fries. The crab roll comes on their very excellent, toasted bread and the fries are shoestring fries and you just can't stop eating them. The service is very good. We will return after symphonies again and again. Happy hour lasts from 3 to 5 p.m. with 15% off regular prices for anything on the menu. For dessert we had affogato with their very good cookies.

Very good, we had dinner there and the truth is that we had a very good dinner but I think the best of all were the recommendations of our waiter. highly recommended

In Portland for work and went with colleagues for dinner. Everyone was able to find something that met their dietary needs (vegetarian, food allergies, etc). The food was fantastic and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Service was lovely. Food was not at all noteworthy. We had lunch...a tuna poke bowl, Brussel sprouts side, garden salad, crab roll (small), a local white wine flight. Not al all worth $112.00. Perfectly adequate pretty much cover everything pertaining to food for lunch. The white wine flight included The Erie Chasselas dore (ranked 3rd not at all noteworthy), Sokol Blosser SavBlanc (nicest and actually quite good for a US wine, I prefer NewZeland), and Goldback Chenin blanc which was okay (my husband did not like it at all. Don't recommend this place for lunch.

We’ve had dinner here twice and loved the very fresh seafood both times. Among other things, we’ve had their oysters on the half shell, shrimp and grits, smoked seafood appetizers, and most recently some absolutely fabulous sturgeon. The restaurant is conveniently located near the Schnitzer Concert Hall, and both times after our dinners at Southpark Seafood, we have attended a concert there. Next time we are in Portland, we’ll definitely be back!

Brianna H is the best ever! She was so kind and made celebrating my dad’s birthday the best. Even timing his birthday candles for when he returned from the bathroom. The host had written a birthday card even! Thank you!

Don't eat here. They tried to charge my credit card 23% more than the purchase. I refused to sign the credit card receipt and asked to speak to a mananger. Nobody came. I called the next day and requested that a manager to call me back. Nobody did. I had to dispute this on my credit card.

Had such a delicious lunch! Locally sourced seafood and a showstopper Crab Roll Sandwich to die for! I also had to try an oyster shooter! Oh!! And do not skip the bread!! So salty, light and fluffy. It has a beautiful light olive oil flavor to it. Chefs kiss! Great staff, the bartender Dave, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great spot for solo traveler like me or a business lunch! Check it out for sure!!

Not sure how we landed here but what a delight. It has been around for nearly 30 years, said our bartender. We shared “Bubbles and Bivalves,” and also shared an Oregon Pinot Noir Flight that was amazing. But the two entrees were the real show: King Salmon and Swordfish, both in such a unique preparation and we could have licked our plates clean!

This place was packed but we were still seated in less than 2 minutes from arriving. We sat back by the bar and Lee was bartending and still checking on us seveal times. She was amazing and we went with everything she recommended based on how well she knew the dishes. They were all amazing and I highly recommend South Park seafood and if you can be served by Lee you’ll have an amazing experience.

Anjali K gave us the absolute best experience ever. She was so informative, humble, and made us excited for our meal. It really felt like making a post here just for her, because when someone makes you feel at home in a foreign city, it’s an experience you never forget. I hope South Park Seafood is as grateful to have you as we were.

Ordered a half dozen chilled oysters (3 diff types of 2) and four baked oysters. Beer was the Von Ebert "Clubhaus" Lager. Great service from Aaron (as well as the servers)! Aaron tended bar and also stepped away from time to time made sure the patrons at the tables and booths were also taken care of. No pressure, knowledgeable about the menu (regarding the oysters), gave me a second round of bread (the garlic or w/e on it was elite), and checked up on me just the right amount of times. Unrelated -- receipt shows automatically added 20% gratuity and a 2.5% surcharge on Credit Cards (in the uploaded picture)

Clam chowder and ceviche are the best. All the servers are very nice and looked happy to work there. Especially our server, Roberto, did really above and beyond which I appreciate. We’ll definitely be back when we cone back to Portland. Highly recommended !!

I went here tonight after work to get out of the heat, and reset my nerves from a long day. Anjali and Dave T greeted me at the bar, and were really fun and pleasant to chat with. The food came very quickly, and Luke brought it over, and he was also very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Patrale Sole Ceviche and the clam chowder and was blown away by how good the ceviche was. It was the perfect combination of a savory and sweet vinaigrette. The fish was perfect, and the pistachios added a wonderful crunch. The presentation was beautiful! I can't wait to go back and try more dishes.

Perfect classic Portland spot right near the theater. My sisters and I went to grab dinner before seeing a show this winter, and we had a really lovely experience! I had a crab roll which was delicious, and tried some of my sisters’ chicken piccata, which was just as good! Our waitress, Ricky, did an awesome job and was very attentive. She had great suggestions, was happy to answer questions, and was very on top of everything we needed throughout the whole experience.

The entire experience was so impressive! The food featured fresh ingredients and truly unique flavors that stood out. A highlight was the oysters, and swordfish with black rice, which perfectly complemented the rich coconut sauce. Our server, Kayla, was a delight—she was so knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent guidance on both the cheese selections and the cocktail pairings. Highly recommend!"

The northwest coast oysters were very fresh, as were the clams. Northwest Pinot noir flight not a great showcase of the wines of Willamette valley. One mocktail interesting. Sturgeon piccata good. Clam tagliatelle good Cheese and fish board a little odd, but salmon and creme fraiche nice. Waiter was friendly, helpful. When the restaurant got busier, it was a little hard to find him. Ambiance relaxed but stylish.

We had a most wonderful experience at Southpark Our server Ricky was awesome her recommendations for food and wine were excellent We had the paella for two it was absolutely delicious paired with a nice pinot gris. The Expresso Stack dessert was amazing. Will definitely be adding this place to our most go to restaurant list.

I visited this establishment on a Wednesday and was greeted by the nicest young man by the name of Caleb. While I didn't have a reservation, it didn't get in the way of me being treated as a customer and was helped promptly. I was pleased to hear that they had hot tea, as I had been dealing with a sore throat and needed something warm to soothe it. I ordered a side of fries and they were absolutely amazing! The habanero aioli dipping sauce was hands down the tastiest dip I've ever had. Thanks to the quick service, great customer service (especially from Caleb!), and tasty food, I WILL be back!

Matthew & Dave , the bartenders, are the best. Perfect cocktails and delicious seafood! The seafood feast was just what we were looking for.

Perfect date night dinner before our Moda Center event! Actually intentionally returned to this restaurant after the food and staff won us over for a work holiday party in December. Robertito M recognized us and took wonderful care of us! We enjoyed talking with him and the personal dining experience. He made sure we got exactly what we order plus some extras. He made sure we were ok on time for the event we were attending later that night which was very appreciated. Cesar salad and Sturgeon are the winning dishes for sure! We will be back to try more dishes as I’m sure it will be just as amazing!

Excellent seafood. I had the oysters and an appetizer. The service was outstanding, and the food was delicous.

Happy Hour was Delicious - clam chowder - Shrimp Cocktail and of course the 6 half shell Oysters - Great Help from Dave K for recommending !

Just had a lovely meal with my family at SS! The fish and chips were tasty for the kids and grow ups alike. Yummy cocktails too. Brian was an incredible server and added greatly to our experience. Will definitely be back!

I usually don't get around to writing reviews after vacations but my wife and I had such a magical experience at South Park. The food was delicious, but the service was a special plus for us. It had been a long while since we had ventured back into Portland and as you can imagine my wife and I were a bit on edge until we settled down to luckily catch a bite here. Our server Ricky gave us some excellent additional recommendations for our little Rose City reunion tour and we just felt right at home. 10/10 would recommend for any seafood lovers or date night for those trying to capture a slice of that old town Portland magic.
Great food
Had a great time celebrating a birthday with excellent food and tasty drinks. Jeff B was outstanding and took care us. Highly recommend!
