Great meals and setting

By natalie cynthia |

If you’re looking for decent food in disney, this is the place to go. Service was excellent and efficient without feeling rushed. As a vegetarian, this is a very decent place to eat, as the food was delicious and substantial, especially compared with the lack of suitable food at disney. I would definitely recommend the cauliflower to start. All meals were presented beautifully and tasted great, although the ‘crispy’ tofu could have been cooked better, it was a little lukewarm and soft but great to see a plant based option on the menu. According to my family, the steak was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, for a three course meal the portion sizes were a little over generous and dessert couldn’t be properly enjoyed.

Out of this world!

By theresa g |

Fun, thered space. Juan the bartender was friendly and made great cocktails! He suggested the Command Center, which I was already eyeing-it did not disappoint! The Starry Calamari was delicious, as was the spicy aioli-would have ordered it again, but we had to head out for the festival booths. Delicious, great theme, will be back!

Mattie was out of this world !

By Riley B |

Mattie gave us amazing service! Friendly from the start and full of great suggestions and facts about space and was able to answer all of our disney questions. Definitely better then the service back on earth. Food was pretty good , but the service from Mattie was everything! A few highlights of our meal : The illumination for drinks and the crab stuffed lobster as a supplementary entree. For dessert don’t skip the Astra! All suggestions by our server and they were out of this world! We will be back!

Delicious surprise in Space

By ninkalin |

The meal was excellent! I had the Salmon it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The venue a space themed restaurant was really unbelievable. We were seated next to the window where we could view the astronauts fixing things the best was we saw them walking their space dog! So much fun. But, the best part was meeting our server in space Lacy🥰 She went above and beyond to make our dining experience special!! Not only was she personable, she was efficient answering all of our questions and guiding us through the menu and drink choices. She is a valuable asset to your space team! Also everyone we encountered on earth and in space was friendly and helped our experience. Well done!.

Jonathan, we're waiting on your cartwheels

By KP Photography |

Jonathan, one of the best servers we've ever had, in or out of Disney. A real genuine conversation about the place, food items, and the technology involved in the place. Good drink recommendations and talked us through the menu as we needed, but was never pushy. Nice to share Disney stories and for someone to stay at our table and talk for minutes on end was amazing. Usually everyone's so busy with their end of day it's time to close a table and move on, we never felt that and it was refreshing to have such excellent service. Ordering 24oz bone-in ribeyes was a good choice, worth the extra cost as there was more food for the next day leftovers. We tried the espresso martini (delicious), Shuttle Crew (very sweet, like an orange creamsicle), Saturn 2.0 (great, well balanced), and a drink with pop rocks (non-alcoholic and fun). The food was all great! Wagyu Beef, Tempura Cauliflower, Bone in Ribeye, Half Lobster, all delicious.

Exceptional dining experience

By abofreeman |

Excellent meal from beginning the end. Theming is great as you enter…appetizer, drinks, entree and dessert were all exceptional, as was the service. It’s a premium price tag, but you get what you pay for! We will definitely be back next time we are in EPCOT.

Go to Space 220! It's awesome!

By Michael B |

Edwin was our server and was awesome! Very friendly and always went the extra mile. Food was excellent and so was the ambience! Space 220 is amazing!

Best meal of my Disney trip

By Corey K |

This was the best meal we had on our Disney trip. I had the slow-roasted crystal valley chicken, which was delicious, especially with the ragout. I tasted some of my friends' dishes too, and the zero-g short rib was amazing. I also enjoyed tasting my friends' lift-offs scallop risotto, neptuna tartare, and blue moon cauliflower which were all very good. The space ambience is cute, but they could probably do a little more with the concept. I did overhear two kids debating whether they were really in space or not. I had some fun bantering with our server. Me: "Is this drink radioactive?" Server: "Yes." More seriously one of our party has a gluten allergy and our server did a first-rate job explaining the options and what was safe for her to eat. Regarding pricing, well it's a fact of life that you will always pay a premium for dining at a Disney park. The prices were comparable to what you might find at other nice Disney restaurants, but don't come here expecting a bargain. If it fits in your budget though, it's worth doing.

Don't go

By Glenn H |

We were all looking forward to our Space 220 dinner, and what a disappointment it was. First, we were left standing for minutes between people dining as they looked for a different table that could accommodate our baby carriage. Then came the food, which had to be the worst in all of Disney World. The entrees (salmon, cioppino, short ribs and filet) all suffered in different ways, but generally were not tasty. Desserts were pretty, but lacked flavor. Then came the bill ($79.99 per person), and when I offered my Disney annual pass for a discount I was told that only applied at lunch, not dinner! I spoke to a manager, who brought the bill down a bit, but it was still far too overpriced. What a terrible meal overall. Save your money and walk the World Showcase to find better food and better prices.

Wouldn’t come back

By Sarah M |

Loved the theming and food was good but wasn’t impressed with the server. Felt very rushed 1st course she kept coming to see if we had finished. As the kids were eating their main she asked them if they would like ice cream. This then came before they finished the meal so obviously they didn’t eat the food. One we had finished the meal she put the bill on the table she didn’t even ask us if we would like dessert. As we walked out the kids got upset as they could see other children with different deserts they didn’t get offered. I have waited so long to visit here and feel disappointed with the experience. Save your money guys. So many lovely places to eat in Epcot that value your custom and don’t make you feel like you are an inconvenience.

Great sit-down dinner option at Epcot!

By Mark D |

This restaurant is located and entered from next to the Mission: Space attraction in Epcot. I understand it's been in operation for a few years now, but this was my first visit. I enjoyed the "space elevator" pre-show and the "space station" theming, though that's limited to the "windows" around the dining room. The ceiling lighting is reflected in the "windows," which detracts from the view. The decor is otherwise simple and clean. I appreciated the comfortable seating! The menu is prix fix, and considering the upscale offerings and how fast Disney dining prices can spiral out of control, $79 for three courses is pretty reasonable. I started with a cocktail - a lot of rum and POG juice, which was great. The tempura cauliflower in Buffalo sauce was better than expected; the breading didn't get soggy, as it usually does. The entree (seared grouper) was excellent, with a nice crust on the fish and good seasoning overall. The truffle fries add-on, however, was a waste: blah shoestring potatoes, spongy, and almost no truffle flavor. I just had gelato for dessert, and the server threw in an extra scoop. After I discussed the fries with my server, she and her manager stepped up and applied a significant discount to my meal, which was greatly appreciated! Service here is outstanding as always with Disney. As busy as they were, I never felt rushed, and my server was friendly and attentive - but not too attentive nor chatty. Overall, a solid sit-down option in Epcot. Recommended!

Over priced and below average food

By Darren P |

We booked this month's ahead and we're excited to eat here. The service was fine, but the food was not. I will say the cauliflower appetizer I had was good. However, the entrees all four of us had was disappointing. Bland, and of poor quality. At $55 for a burger and a salad, this was not even close to worth it. The atmosphere was ok, but the "space" view was not convincing at all. It was very poorly done. The food from the vendor's on the street was way better for less than half the price. I am not looking to be negative, and I wish I had something good to say about this restaurant, but I honestly don't. I do not recommend this restaurant, and I think most of you will be disappointed if you do go.

Actual fine dining amidst the chaos

By Cathy H |

We took our daughter and grandson here for lunch. Our daughter and her husband had been before and we were anxious to try it. She requested a seat by the window and we were accommodated. Although you can see the "earth" better from some other seats, frequent fly-bys of astronauts, satellites and space ships kept our 3 yr old grandson amused. The set price for 2 course lunch is $55 for adults and $29 for kids and although not cheap, nothing is at Disney. In this case the meal is elevated and uses top quality ingredients. For that reason I chose the burrata starter and the seared tuna entree. The tuna was cooked very little, as sushi grade tuna should be, and the sauces and caponata on the plate were wonderful. I enjoyed both dishes very much. For those who want a little more food on the plate, my husband and daughter got the steak and frites and it was delicious and a generous portion. Most people in the restaurant were ordering the calamari starter, which is a very traditional preparation. Highlight of our meal was the service. Our waiter Alessio promised our grandson a small surprise if he finished his dessert and when he saw Alessio come back to the table he held his empty bowl out to him and the waiter produced a pack of space trading cards. Nice touch. The restaurant managers also stopped by to chat. For a minute I forgot I was in the middle of the hubbub of Disney. Don't forget they do offer Annual Pass discount of 10%, and if you don't want to order the whole lunch, you can sit at the bar to get a drink or snack even with children.

Atmospheric but the service and attention to detail not great

By sarahburton30260 |

We went for lunch. First disappointment was a very surly greeting from a woman who made us line up against a wall with some other parties instead of using the seating while we waited. The space elevator effect is well done and you really do feel like you’re stepping off into a space station. We were very lucky and had a window table next to the Earth, but so many window tables were just looking out into the void of space - I’d have been so disappointed with that. The menu has enough variety and the food is ok. It’s poor that a soft drink isn’t included in the set price menu. Service was fine but not as attentive as I’d have liked, Bathrooms were not well maintained. Overall, as expected you’re paying for the experience. One for the most dedicated space fans only.

Superb

Service , atmosphere ……everything Excellent . Dru our server was amazing but the food does all the talking ….. contender for no1 theme park restaurant for sure …. Highly recommend and will certainly visit again

WOW

By Dom S |

Came here for dinner with my family after a long day at EPCOT. What an experience! Theming is just incredible from the moment you enter you feel like you are being transported into a space station. We came here mainly for the theming and I wasn't expecting much in the way of food, however I was so wrong. Meal for 4 including drinks was around ~$250USD however this was a 3 course meal (starter, entree and dessert) so price seemed reasonable and the food was high quality. Kids loved it too. Would definitely recommend this one!

Not at of this world, only the $$$

By robert h |

Wanted to love it but most reviews sum it up, exceptional server but shades of Mars 2112 restaurant in NYC back in the 90's / early 2000's , food was average & at $79 price fix per person not including tax , tip & drinks we had a $500.00 bill for 4 people , I think your $$$ is better spent at the steak house in the Canadian Pavilion

Space 2020

By Vinni101 |

Glad I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, the theming was great, and something a bit different. The food however not so great, the fries were awful, I probably wouldn’t go again, I think it’s somewhere you only need to experience once.

Out of this world experience!

By nathalie469 |

It was really OUT OF THIS WORLD good! Not only is the place the coolest but the whole experience between our waitress and the quality of the food exceptional! The whole presentation of the food and the taste was sublime. Very good quality meat and the lobster really good as well. The expierence in the lyft going up was so amazing! It was like going for a ride for a few hours! Highly recommended and a new reason why Epcot will always be our favorite!

Out of this world service!

By Fafinsab |

Space continues to impress. Sat at the bar and both Chris and Melanie were amazing as was the entire staff. They are so great in character and so engaging. As I have watched the food quality at other venues decrease with lesser cuts of meat and other small changes, space gas remained consistently amazing. The Chef brings new things to the menu, I tried the currywurst and it was great! The view also looked better with some new scenes and they confirmed they got an upgrade. I keep coming back cause I keep having great foods and out of this world service!

Go back to when you first opened! Plz

By Kevin R |

This is our third visit in 3 years first 2 were amazing this visit not so much. The menu has changed to a lower quality main dish selection. You owners know what I'm talking about! If you really need to know-Appetizers great, dessert great, main courses are bland and lower cost for you to serve. Cut backs never pay off for a higher end restaurant. Taste over stockholder value and you will prosper in the future!

Hope to return one day!

By bcaha |

We had a rough start to this dinner with a wait for a table in spite of a reservation. Once inside and settled, we were all happy with the excellent and attentive service that we received from our waiter, Cesar. The food and drinks were the best we have ever had in WDW! (Especially the chicken pad thai) Expensive, but I would definitely return. Our meal was during sunset which gave us the opportunity to see both daylight and nighttime views.

You can sit on the concrete

By Gary H |

Tried to walk up for bar. Four ahead of me given a wait of one hour. No benches or chairs in reception area. Told I could sit on the concrete and wait. Employees uncaring.

Such fun.

By Terry S |

Had never been to this restaurant before and went with some girlfriends. We just finished a late lunch that was fabulous. The experience was so much fun, but Tamika, our server, made it exceptional. She was knowledgeable and gave suggestions to make sure that we understood what we were ordering. She shared laughs and insight. She made the experience so much more enjoyable!

Out of this world

By maccu50 |

Truly out of this world experience We had to try it at least once Dinner was $80 pp Most expensive meal all holiday Waiter was so good and helpful with both the allergies we had Food was gobbled up Ambiance was incredible Great experience BUT very expensive

An out of this world meal

By Virgil H |

This is an expensive restaurant, but the experience was great. You start by taking an elevator to a space station which is 220 miles up. Once there you have an amazing view of the earth. The effects are great. However, they also do a great job with the food and service. I had filet mignon and enjoyed it. The meal package also comes with some out of this world deserts.

Good but not great ($$$$)

By Traveler30245903559 |

So I do want to start with the fact that this place does have an amazing atmosphere if everyone enjoys a more dark and quiet atmosphere. The service here is phenomenal as well. I had a waitress named Tamika and she was great. The food was honestly good but not great, which is not shocking for a disney experience but not typical for such a high price tag establishment. I had the shrimp tacos for an appetizer, burger and desert and overall the bill came out to around 450$. This was a family with 4 adults and three kids though we didn’t order and special drinks or light up icecubes ($8 a pop). Overall any drinks besides water are an up charge even fountain pops or tea (not typical for a set price disney dinner), and the food was good not great. I think the restaurant is a good one time experience but not above better options such as liberty tree tavern or the Ohana breakfast at the Polynesian hotel.

Bar or Bust

By Madden W |

My husband and I dined at Space 220 last week 6/13/2024. I think it is safe to say that things have changed. We were seated along the back wall. We had no better a view than the view from the bar area. Our waiter was not attentive and seemed to truly not give a single sh*t about us. This was magnified by the amount of attention he gave to his other tables around us. The appetizers we ordered were fine. We had the beef carpaccio and shrimp tacos. The beef should have had a sauce and instead it was literally just mayonnaise. The taco shell was nice but the shrimp were not quality. They were the very small cheap shrimp like you find at any grocery store in the country. I had a cocktail and my husband had the space draft beer. The beer was very bad, even by craft beer standards. He talked about it with the waiter and a manager and no solution was offered. On to the mains. I had the steak salad as it was 98 degrees outside and I just could not eat anything heavy. Boy was that a mistake. My "steak" was cooked so long that it took another form. It was dry and rock hard. The sad bits of iceberg lettuce and four pieces of tomato did not make up for the steak rocks. Although maybe they were moon rocks, sticking with the theme and all. I digress, my salad was horrid. My husband got the steak frites. His steak was edible, but it was also overcooked. The fries that came with the steak were pathetic. Think of a sad lonely version of McDs fries and you'll be close to these. This was again discussed with our waiter and a manager. At the end of the meal our waiter said he would "take care of us" and came back with a 15% discount. While that was nice, sort of, it in no way made our experience better. I would give it a 1/10 and that's just because by cocktail was cute. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME IN THE DINING ROOM. Go to the bar. We have actually had several wonderful experiences at the bar.

First time... great time

By Steve J |

The experience was phenomenal. It started with the host Nick from Pittsburg. He was friendly and accommodating ,for my motorized scooter, he made it possible to sit in the bar area and not transfer. The hosts/seaters upstairs (sorry no name remembered) were just as pleasant and friendly. Christopher the bartender was quick and attentive and helpful with the menu and suggestions for it. DEFINITELY worth the anticipation (been trying to get in since you opened) and the hype. Will definitely recommend and (try to) return as quickly as possible

Boring and expensive, lackluster food

By Ness L |

So much hype and yet lacking quality follow-through. Everything is way over priced for the quality of any of the food or drinks. It’s a cool experience to see, yes, but the alcohol drinks are okay and the kids drink is not worth $15. We had “short rib sliders” with meat that was made up of half or more of a fat chunk with small bits of meat still on it. The fries were good. The kids Mac n cheese was good but not worth $29. Come on guys. At least try to deliver something worth talking about and being so exclusive for. The employees seem bored too. Maybe change things up and actually ad a theme and some entertainment to the experience. It’s Disney.

Next time I’m back at Epcot, eating here again.

By Gail N |

So so glad we prebooked reservations at this restaurant. Our “view” was fantastic. Food was sensational. Excellent portions and really just so well prepared and presented. Our party consisted of parents 40s/50s, and three early 20-something adult children

Worth Doing.... Once

By This_r_serious |

In a nutshell: The experience was very cool, but the price is very high. Food was good, and a fun time was had, but it was just far more expensive than is worth doing again. If you're going with kids, I would suggest lunch, as that's a little cheaper. Keep in mind, however, the lunch and dinner menus are different. Also, the view on the ride up and down will change based upon the time of day.

Galactic disappointment

By Shannon |

Sorely disappointed. Our family of six had dinner for our daughter’s birthday in May. The food quality was terrible, everything overpriced, overcooked and gooey sauces overtop to try to cover up the lack of quality. 3 of us felt sick the next day. With the add ons and sickening sweet warm drinks our bill was over $900.00. We should have complained, but the waiter was nice and we didn’t want to ruin the night. Don’t do it, the atmosphere doesn’t make up for the bad food.

Lounge

By 57andy |

We went in to the lounge as it is much cheaper than the main restaurant. You get the same experience but at a far reduced cost because you choose from small bites rather than the fixed price menu. The food was ok but nothing special. People go for the experience rather than the dining. Go once and that’s enough. Book a reservation for the lounge as soon as you can, it will get fully booked.

Worst Disney experience

By U6588PRbllb |

1 hour 20 minutes from checkin to receiving an entree. Dessert also dragged and took forever to arrive. Felt forgotten several times. Spent most of the night with a blank table. Wrong items brought out to table by another server. Ours wasn't the only table neglected for extended periods of time. Place needs a refresh, several bits seem off or a bit run down. The price could have been possibly stomached if the Disney level of service was there but this felt far below the minimum standard. Server was kind and the best part of the experience when she was available, but seemed distracted and rushed, like there was some other problem afoot. Never saw the manager until I saw someone I assume was him dressed differently when we were walking out and he was rummaging through the bar for something. If it was him, he was allergic to speaking to customers, unless someone was dying in the back and he was dealing with that. -$400 for the worst Disney dining experiences we've ever had here. Would have preferred to eat a Mickey pretzel that fell in a puddle on Main Street USA rather than do this again. Our child loved the space theme though.

Fun to do once, food was meh, good location and service

By otraveler |

Cool vibe and experience. Appetizers were decent, entrees were meh - pad Thai - probably ordered wrong :). Service was nice and not rushed. Would love to have tried one of their adult drinks. Overall experience was fun and well done. I wouldn’t stress about getting this reservation, though the location is good and you can sit and relax in a/c during mid day without going to the other end of the park (where there are many more options for this).

Great food , service not so

By gavin j |

Great idea and atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly. We were all enthralled by the spacemen walking. Food was great but not the service. Starters came and went, then we waited, and waited, and waited until we gently complained then all the mains came at once. By then the small ones (3 and 5) were tired and grouchy. Spoke to a manager and after initial pushback and explanation from us they agreed. Kindly offered us a good discount ( always appreciated) but that wasn’t the point. A great dinner and evening was spoiled a little. Would we return ? Time heals all wounds so yes we probably will dine there again.

Do not go

By bk33 |

I would not recommend Space220. Cool atmosphere but that’s about it. Food was over priced and was just okay. If you have a reservation here, cancel it and go elsewhere .

A must visit!

By Disney3 |

Really enjoyed the experience of this restaurant, typical Disney that the attention to detail is fab! You get into a lift and then feel like you are travelling up to space, felt very real, walking into the restaurant is an experience and had a good atmosphere. Our server was welcoming and friendly, service was spot on. We had the sliders which were good. Recommend this place and we will be back next year, thank you :)

Galactic prices, Earthly food and subcontinental service

By Whiny Guy |

As others have said, underwhelming, one and done. The food is maybe on par with an Applebees, but you’ll pay California Grill prices. The ambiance is ok, but I agree the theming falls well short of its potential. They could have incorporated some IP, some music, rotate the Earth. anything really. The service was below standard for Disney. Passholders get 10% off for lunch and our server didn’t offer it to me until I reminded him.

Amazing Space atmosphere

By Tom K |

For atmosphere and theming it's a 5 out of 5, but the food is mediocre. Started off with the calamari, duck confit and raw wagyu beef. I think the calamari was the best and the sauce. I had the steak and frites and my son had the chicken. My daughter in law had the tuna. My son said his was incredible. Because this is lunch you don't get dessert. For the price the food isn't special, but the theme is amazing.

Galactic Disappointment

By QueenBee |

Family of 5 dined here and it was just ok. Not Disney level food quality. I ordered the calamari and it tasted like pre-frozen, not fresh. And when it came to the table, it was cold and wilting. Not hot and crispy. My son ordered off of the kids menu but was told he would be charged as an adult. The kids Mac & Cheese was velveeta/plastic tasting. All of the kids drinks were $$$$ which is shocking. Just overall not happy with this restaurant. After the thrill of the elevator, it’s just a large screen with things bouncing around on it. And for as many staff members that were constantly walking up and down the aisles, the service was terrible. Never again. Go to LeCellier or San Angel next time. They know how to do it better.

Much Better Options

By TexasBuffettFan |

We like to try different restaurants each year and decided to try Space 220. My best advice is don’t. You’ll drop over 200 bucks before any drinks for a party of 3 with tip. The atmosphere is pretty corny and non realistic. The steak is comparable to a Waffle House steak at 5x the price. The chef has no idea what medium or medium rare means and it’s likely not his or her fault given it’s the thinnest, fattiest and toughest piece of beef (hopefully) you’ll ever try. Do yourself a favor and go to basically to any of the countries and get anything else. Maybe tone down the Space TV screens a bit and focus on the food if you’re charging Ruth Chris prices. It’s basically a dining room with one window with TV screens. You can get the same at Waffle House if you can get someone in a moon suit to stand outside the window and wave. The jokes about Space Water fall flat when it’s coming from the water fountain outside the restaurant.

Out of this world dinning

By Brian P |

We visit Orlando (from the UK) every couple of years and have been trying to visit 220 since it opened in 2021. This year we were lucky enough to get in. The back story is that you enter a space elevator, travel 220 miles up into Earth orbit and dine looking down on the Earth, Florida and the USA to be precise. The elevator has windows top and bottom so look up and down as you travel to/from the restaurant. The restaurant is a large semi circle with windows looking out into space and down to Earth. The view of the Earth from the lounge and the elevator change by time of day. We went up in daylight and came down after sunset, well worth it if you can arrange the dining time around sunset. As well as the Earth you also get views of space craft passing by, astronauts, meteors and even a space suited dog being taken for a walk. The food is excellent as was the service. One point to be aware of, it’s a prefix menu for starter, main and desert at $79 each. The potions are decent so you may want to take it easy on the starter so you can enjoy the main and pudding. This restaurant is well worth the visit for the food or atmosphere or the views. Put all three together and the experience is something that everyone should try. One tip, it’s easier to get into the bar area, less choice in the food but the same atmosphere and views.

Great potential - totally / expensively wasted

By CWRG |

First and foremost, the service by Stephanie was cheerful, attentive and professional. In sharp contrast to her colleagues who miserably served the food with little more than a disparaging grunt. The restaurant has the crowded cheap tables and plastic decor of a poor high school cafeteria. Because the tables are incredibly close to each other the noise levels are not pleasant. The space scenes out of the fake windows are on a short cycle and repeat every few minutes. We had a table of 6 and the quality of the expensive food served was variable, but mostly disappointing for the amount charged - a set price of £79.00 - even if you only want two courses. The Beef Carpaccio was served smothered some form of sauce (mayonnaise based??) that was TOTALLY unnecessary. The Pork Tenderloin was dry and badly overdone. The Filet Mignon was perfectly cooked, however it was smothered in a red wine reduction that should have been served on the side. This place has so much potential- totally wasted.

Not worth it in my opinion

By Scott G |

Not worth it in my opinion. This is just my opinion to come to Disney 4 to 5 times a year first time trying this restaurant my nine-year-old and six-year-old we found not very impressive and the food was OK and the price was extremely high to me there’s better options like I said this is my opinion

Great experience and restaurant!

By Louise |

We just got back from our Disney World trip and had dinner at Space 220 during our time at Epcot and it did not disappoint! The entire experience is wonderful, very fun for the littles in our group. The atmosphere is very calming, the dining staff is exceptional and the food was delicious! Our server Luis was absolutely amazing, was great with our children, helped with menus and drink items, suggested a fun kids drink with light up ice cubes. We were able to take the ice cubes with us and used them in our water bottles, which were fun at night during late night stays at the parks - kids loved them. He also suggested a good photo spot in the restaurant and took family photos for us after dinner. Also during my dinner I was searching for my napkin (I have three small kids, so it had gone missing) and when I looked up another waiter had noticed I needed a napkin and brought it over without me even having to ask, just great service all around from the staff. Highly recommend!

Hi on Expectation, the lowest of experiences. Terrible! DO NOT GO!

By michaelnG7528TH |

Dining at the theme parks is typically the highlight of our Disney Park Experience. I have wanted to eat here for years but could not get a reservation. This trip, I gave it another try and was able to get one. We were excited. We looked forward to it all day. However, we were greatly disappointed. The theming was lousy; cast members had no enthusiasm and were not in character. You're taken up in a faux elevator to simulate the rise to the space station. Once there, there is a big screen looking out over the heart. Ocassionaly an astronaught floated by. Ehhhh. Is that it? The food was overpriced. No value compared to other Disney dining. $80 pp. You can choose an appetizer, main course, and dessert from the menu. The food was lousy and had to be returned ( Pad thai). The chicken dish was overcooked. The service was lousy. We could have gotten the appatiser, fried calamari, at the world showcase for $10. The desert came in a little shot glass. This is the most overpriced Disney Dining experience in my 20-plus years of visiting. Hey, Disney, get another GM and Chef for this restaurant. I want my money back!

Out of this World!

By Shaun M |

Everything about this experience was great - from the “elevator ride” to the food & drinks. We had the calamari (wish it was a little crunchier), the buffalo cauliflower (amazing), the miso salmon (delicious!) and the pad Thai (very flavorful). Service was great and the atmosphere was super cool.

Family of 4 booked day before 27/8 not busy

By Longalion |

Nice restaurant but needed more things floating around in space as it seemed to be on repeat every 5 mins. Food was good, but not amazing for the prices but service was great. Wouldn’t return, but would recommend if it’s your first time and you can afford it. It’s cheaper at lunch but we went dinner time.

Good food and atmosphere.

Late lunch in the lounge for a family of four. Visited 2 years ago and really enjoyed it then, so thought we'd do it again. Food still as good, theming great, but it all felt a bit rushed this time. Sadly some of the drinks weren't available, and a side of fries is terribly overpriced, but it was still a nice experience.

Love the atmosphere and the food was good

By LSQRD1 |

We were impressed by the entry process for the restaurant and the nifty theme. The food was well plated and was pretty good. There were several good options to select from. Our server did a fine job but seemed very busy. The value is limited considering the high price point and reservations are a must. The restaurant was more quiet and chill than Be Our Guest but the efficiency of the staff was higher at Be Our Guest. For example, there were several table with dirty dishes (and no clear system or staff for busing) and a blind corner near or table meaning that the staff has to shout out they were coming in every minute or two. Overall, the theming was good but some tweaks would make for a more 'spacey' experience.

A worthwhile experience, but wouldn’t do it again

By Jaskel08 |

The restaurant’s theme of course is space. The concept of it is that they are “shuttling” or “riding a lift” from Earth onto a space station in space. Entering the “lift”, then watching as it takes you from Earth to the space station is beyond amazing. Once in the “space station”, you have a view of outer space where occasional spacemen or spacecraft pass by. The ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Otherwise….. Negatives: The food. It was OK. Nothing special The price. For the quality of the food that we had, it was way overpriced. Your stomach is full. The issue with eating a meal here is that you are no long hungry to sample the food and drink in the international portion of Epcot. Advice: Book in advance. This place is in high demand. Is it worth it for the experience, yeah, I guess. However, you pay a pretty good premium for it. I definitely wouldn’t go again. I would have rather sampled the food from the other countries whereas my kids loved the experience.

Epcot Space 220

By kateMinneapolisMN |

This really saddens me to leave this review. We were so excited that we were finally able to get into Epcot Space 220 restaurant. The food was awful. We did the tasting menu which included three courses. The appetizer was good - the main course was awful. The steaks were disgusting. One came out rare. The other one came out like a hockey puck. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came right out of a box - horrible! The desserts were ok at best. It’s expensive and not worth the money. Space 220 is fun to see if you can get in. Go for a cocktail skip the food not worth your money or time!

Fancy drinks, cool atmosphere, and amazing g service!

By Kimmi B |

This place is all about the atmosphere & service. The experience of "traveling" to the space station is very unique and I would say its a must do. Drinks were amazing and our server Charles was very knowledgeable about the menu, super attentive by making sure we stayed hydrated, and had a great vibe. Plus who doesn't like astronaut ice cream in your espresso martini?

Don’t Skip Space 220!

Food was better than we expected. Our server Dru was excellent. He pointed out the best things on the menu and answered all of our questions. He had a good personality and made the experience enjoyable.

Empty space

We have wanted to Dine here for a few years and managed to get a table this year we entered the restaurant which is very gimmicky and wear sat with a view of the screens. This soon becomes boring as there is not a lot actually going on We ordered our food off of the set menu which was $79 per person. The food started to come after about 30 to 40 minutes which was cold. There was another 30 minutes between the starter to the main which again came out lukewarm during this time we were not offered any further drinks And we’re just left sitting waiting. With the waiter dealing with other tables The drinks appeared to be very watered down. The beer was very small and very expensive compared to most of restaurants. The prices of all food and drinks are extortionate and clearly overpriced when our main course came out it was lukewarm and overcooked and dry. By this point we wanted to leave and did not complain. we paid the gratuity which we felt reflected our service we received then to find they had added a further 40 extra dollars on top which we did not sign for this restaurant is clearly overpriced with poor service and Guest experience avoid at all cost. Our bill was $329 for three adults but was charged $389 for poor service and poor food. One of the worst Disney experiences we’ve ever had..

I would not go back.

By Camper24538070125 |

This was my most disappointing Disney dining experience and I signed up for tripadvisor just to ensure my thoughts can guide other diners. The space theme is spot on, the service and server were great and so pleasant, the food was ok but two things stood out to me: 1) The wait time between your first dish to the time you exit the restaurant was outrageous. For two courses, an appetizer and the main course we were waiting for almost two hours. This was a long time to spend here that we didn't get to spend at the park. 2) The cost: my family of seven spent $450 on five adult and two kids meals and one specialty zero proof drink. No desert was included in the price (the children did get vanilla ice cream with their meal) but paying this much for a two coarse meal took me back. As a comparison two years ago at Beast's Table, we paid roughly the same amount of money for a meal that was simply unlike anything I had ever experienced. From the setting to the food, beasts table was worth the price. Beast provided a unique food experience in a fantastic setting and reflecting on the whole of Beast's table left me saying "yea, that was worth the cost." Compare again to liberty tree tavern, which came in at roughly $350 you miss out on the "space" atmosphere of course, but the amount of food plus desert was a great value and filled me and my wife up the whole evening. "Worth the cost." Space 220 I can't say it was worth the cost or the time waiting. I wish I could have gone somewhere else and had a re-do. Again super nice staff, great atmosphere, but too expensive for what we received.

Mid food amazing seevice Yessi

By Paul M |

I came here for the atmosphere (or to leave the atmosphere if you will). I didnt expect much fron the food. For ap i got the calamri. Very nice. Tender and good crunch. The marinara was tastey enough. The steak frite dinner was a let down though. The french fries were pretty standard fare. Probably better suited next to your chicken sandwich at rays star light than at an expensive dinner restaurant. The side car of shrimp (15 bucks extra) was amazing. Really large jumbo shrimp in a garlic butter. They were the star of the show easily. Onto the steak. This was bad. This was what i imagine if i order a steak and eggs breakfast at waffle house. Tough, small, grizzly bits all through out. This wasnt a preperation problem. This is clearly on disney for their selection of cut of meat to serve with the lunch meal. Really not great. Choose a better cut of meat disney My server on the other hand really saved this experience. Yessi. What an awesome job. She went above and beyond to make sure we salvaged as much as we could from the mid quality steak. She recommended i try the strawberry desert. It was outstanding. Both gorgeous presentation and delicious flavor. Highly recommend i believe she took it off the bill to after we talked in great detail about the low quality steak. It really goes to show that a great server can make all the difference. Id come back in a heart beat if i new she was going to be taking care of my table! Nice work Yessi

Amazing Staff and Great Service

By Freedom28130176279 |

Our waiter Connie was amazing. She was always on top of refills for our drinks and checking in on us for our food. When I did not like with my main course because the recipe changed from last time she immediately sent it back and got me a new one with custom instructions. Overall amazing staff with great service good food and an amazing atmosphere.

Incredible experience

By Jess P |

Amazing food and such a fun experience!!! I loved going up in the space elevator and the themed drinks were amazing (I had the Moon Rocks which is technically aimed at kids but was sooooooo delicious!!!!) The steak and chips were lovely and the wagyu beef starter was beautifully constructed with the sauce and crisps. Our server wasn’t the most enthusiastic guy in the world but I did overhear one of the female servers telling a family that their drinks were ‘coming in to land’ which was adorable. And we got trading cards with the meal! So fun, would definitely go again.

Out of This World Experience

By Lisa W |

Enjoyed the experience from the moment you enter. The dining room was a calm atmosphere and our waiter was very good. He kept trying to tell us (dad) jokes the only downside was we really couldn’t hear him. The meals were expensive (pre-fixe menu with a set price) but there were good selections for everyone in our group to choose from and everything we tried among our group of 8 was reviewed as really good. Seems relatively new still so everything was new and in good repair. We would eat here again without hesitation.

Expensive but worth it

By Robert J |

The whole set up is immersive, with really nice touches like the elevator and the variety of things to see outside window (including astronauts with light sabres). Food was excellent including kids meals. It us a bit pricey but feel it was worth it as a one-off

Space 220 is a must visit!!

Our visit was excellent Charles was an excellent server who provided amazing service, jokes, and excellent manners towards us. He made sure to check in with us constantly and always provided us with everything we needed to make the experience magical. The food was excellent and absolutely worth the visit!!

Food matched the out of this world experience

By Dean-Traveller |

Space 220 is a restaurant in Disney's Epcot park. It is Disney through and though. Here the food matches up to the special out of this world experience, but at a price. You can believe that you are in space, although I guess you don't see many dogs having a space walk in real outer space. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive or too Disney smiley. It took effort and perseverance to secure a booking. A special experience and worth the not insignificant price.

Best restaurant in Disney. Great food and excellent service. Highly recommend the tuna tartare and the miso salmon. Presentation perfect as well. Desserts unique and fresh.

Delicious

Lovely themed restaurant. Although not the cheapest, the food was delicious and we would definitely return. That you Caitlyn our server today who was very helpful I helping our family choose food we'd like

Horrible food, over priced and over hyped.

By Bobby C |

We were looking forward to having “lunch in space” however, once you arrive at the restaurant, you realize it’s nothing special. The atmosphere is ok, but the screens for windows don’t really sell the ideia. The drinks are colorful and fun, but not much more than that. They don’t really innovate in any way and frankly, they weren’t good either. We had lunch, so it was a 2 course meal. It’s safe to say it was some of the worst food I’ve had at Disney in a while. I ordered the “wagyu” beed carpaccio with most definitely wasn’t wagyu and was extremely bland. As a main, I had the space pad Thai “with chicken”, I put that in quotes because it felt like they forgot the chicken part. The pasta itself was hard and didn’t taste great. My sister had the Mac and cheese which was worse than craft Mac and cheese, it was flaky and tasted like absolutely nothing. The price for it was ridiculous, it came out to around 92 dollars per person. When we asked to split the check, they still “suggested” an absurd tip for both checks. I really recommend you eat ANYWHERE else.

Great experience

By kir2 |

OMG this is an amazing place. From checking in( where we were asked if it was a special occasion- it was hubbys birthday!)', to going up to 'Space' to the whole experience when you feel just like you are in space. Its great when you enter the restaurant and see the astronauts and space shuttles flying past. It is such a great concept. We had the 3 course dinner & obviously it is a little pricey, but we both agreed it was fantastic. The main in particular, we had the steak, was absolutely one of the best steaks we have had. & then for dessert the cheesecake came out with a happy birthday & candle which just made it so much more special. The servers were very very busy but super attentive and so friendly. Loved every second of it!!

Chris aka Space Chris best bartender (period)

By Sugar |

5 out of 5 stars....I would give an extra star if possible, due to the fact that I had some friends with me and the bartender at the bar named Chris (aka Space Chris) has given us an out of this world experience. Now I'm a bartender myself and deal with high end clients (Stapleton, Combs, Bryant country stars) I used their names because the experience I have received from Chris has given me some great pointers on amazing drinks and stories to tell for my clients. You have a world class bartender, and I am looking forward to bringing more friends to visit Space 220 and have Chris as our bartender.

Perfect Service

By Jcanovanas |

This is an experience!! From the start you are transported away from earth literally, I felt like Inleft the jormal world behind! In huge part because of our waitress ARIANA from Port st Lucie, she was Johnny before the spot! She was there with what we needed before we needed it! All the fun stuff did not escape us thanks to her!! I hope everyone gets service like she gave us , The food was good, no complaints at all cooked perfectly and delivered quickly.. Disney is lucky to have her and no doubt she will progress there…

BASIC and underwhelming

By GD382! |

10 friends and family visited after booking some time ago in advance of our Disney trip and expectation was high. Really didn’t live up to the hype and the cost (excuse the pun) was astronomical. Found all the staff we encountered from checking in to the service as fairly rude from the outset. Food was decent enough however far better places to eat in the parks or in the local area for a fraction of the price. After the initial lift to the restaurant that is well done you are somewhat disappointed by the restaurant itself. Service was what I am only described as poor, we had to ask the waiter for another round of drinks on one of our tables (party split over two tables back to back) however the second table wasn’t offer any further. Finished our mains and no dessert offered just handed a bill that would make most people gulp! Kids desserts took 30 minutes to arrive and even at that point that adults on the table didn’t get the opportunity to finish with something sweet or a coffee. Almost felt that we were an inconvenience and based on the massive service charge included in the bill it was very disappointing. Would go back when we visit next time as the previously stated issues are just a snapshot of the disappointment we felt when we left after looking forward to this meal for a number of months. Poorest service we received in our two weeks so far in Florida or Disney

Located in Epcot by Mission Space

By Sarsprdoc |

We went at opening at 1130 without a reservation and able to be seated immediately as a party of 2 but table of 5 had to wait 3 hours. Lunch is fixed $55 app and entree with limited menu. The experience is ok with large simulated windows looking out into space with astronauts floating by (including 2 fighting with light sabers) and spacecraft docking. Fun for one visit but probably won’t go back.

Tasty but expensive

By Lisa E |

The food was incredible! Everything cooked to perfection and quite tasty. The service was good and the theming was amazing. It got a little tiring of every wait person asking if this was our first time in space. I get it but let it go a bit. It was incredibly expensive so certainly not for the budget minded.

Excellent

By CPS1974 |

A great experience all round. The setting is amazing, the food is excellent and the service is first rate. We only had snacks and drinks sitting at the bar but had a great time. Can’t wait to go back on our next visit.

Out of this world 🌍

By Charlotte T |

Amazing food, service and atmosphere 🚀☄️👾🪐 Our waiter Mac was extremely attentive checking we was okay and had everything we needed. I had the ceaser salad to start which was big portion and deliciously tossed. Then for main I had the roasted chicken which had a curry tinge served with coconut rice. Finally for dessert I had the icecream two choices of icecream chocolate and vanilla. Totally reccomend it to everyone who visits Epcot or is passing near by. I booked but think you could potentially walk in You only have the option to have the set menu which is $79 but worth every penny. You can add sides but think the portions are big enough

Worth the money

By Rina H |

The theme of the restaurant is really cool. We first tried the restaurant to check out the space theme. My family and I were very very impressed with the food and with the presentation of the dishes. We have never had a bad dish here. The food is very high end in taste and presentation and yet we did not feel out of place in the restaurant. The servers that we've had were friendly and attentive. The chefs are amazing. They were careful in preparing our food because we have a food allergy in our family. We always look forward to dining at Space 220. It is expensive but it is worth it.

Have dinner in space.

By tachyonbb |

Excellent idea. You first go in an elevator that takes you to "space". You are seated quickly and can watch various space vehicles and individuals floating through space. This is an experience as well as a great dinner. Our server was quite attentive and gave great suggestions. This is a prix fixe menu. Spouse had calamari to start. I had a Caesar salad. Both were excellent. We both had salmon for our main course. I had a beer which had sparkles in it. Good beer, great experience. This was our second time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Trip back to earth was special.

Great dining experience.

By OnAir06744739557 |

We ate at Space 220 tonight. It was our first visit, and we had a wonderful time. It’s Disney, so you know the experience will be top shelf, but what took it to the next level was our waitress, Alaina. She was attentive, thoughtful, helpful, and had a great sense of humor! She made my wife’s birthday a special event that she won’t soon forget. Thank you Alaina for a wonderful evening!

Get a seat at the bar instead of the restaurant.

By Bluebeard69 |

I appreciate there is a captive audience here at Epcot but that said I don't think I would come and eat here again. The price tag is quite hefty for what you get. The first time my husband and I asked for a seat at the bar to check it out for the rest of the family. My husband had the blue moon cauliflower starter and a pad thai which I had some of an it was I think $55, (i think this changed to $75 per person for 2 courses in the evening). We also had a cocktail each which was around $16 each. It was a nice experience and those dishes were ok but a bit pricey. The second time we came with family and I had the Neptuna starter which although looked fancy it was very small and I totally did not like it which was a disappointment. A couple of our family members also had this and I was a bit embarrassed at their reaction also. A couple of family member had the pad thai dish this time and the dishes were dry as if they had been left under a heat lamp for a while. One member of the family just added a bit of his water to it and it was ok but the other ate it but weren't that impressed. One of the kids had the burger and fries, which were cold upon arrival but we told the server and she changed them right away. Although it was a nice clean place to eat the chairs are ridiculously heavy and are cumbersome to get in and out of. Watch out for that if you have a bad back. I wouldn't come here again to eat but I would recommend getting a "seat at the bar" and enjoying a cold glass of water and a drink (don't get sucked into eating!). We found the food a little too spacey - it was wacky and I get it but it wasn't that great.

We’re out.

By OliviaCutlerF |

Yesterday was our third visit to space - our trip marked our 2nd return for the $55 lunch. Our first visit was for the $79 dinner. For reference, our visits have been consecutive summers. Sadly, I do believe this year’s visit will be our last. Previously we have been very happy with the entire experience. The food was consistently good and the ambiance was relaxing — a welcome escape from the hot insanity of June at Epcot. Unfortunately, like similar restaurants at the Disney Parks, the food quality and service begins top notch when the restaurant opens. As time progresses, the quality of the cuts of meat and fish decline. The kitschy banter and the servers’ ability/motivation to remain in character, throughout the dining experience, also diminishes. There was none of that at all yesterday. The food: my son began with the Cesar salad. The quality and tastiness of the app was consistent with previous years. So far so good! Then he ordered the New York strip medium rare. The piece of meat that arrived at the table was less than 1/2” thick, riddled with fat and tendon, and cooked to a medium well. Boo. To the server’s credit, he graciously agreed the meat was subpar and ill prepared. I asked if all cuts were the same. He stated they came in “batches of 10” and so it “probably would be.” My son asked for the burger which was fine. Not $55 fine, but he ate. Best burger on property: Wilderness Lodge bison burger. I ordered the buffalo cauliflower which is honestly one of my favorite snacks on property. It also was still delicious. I am a creature of habit and stuck with the loin of tuna. They now slice it - last year they did not. I prefer not because if not cut properly the fish is tough/chewy vs. melt in your mouth yummy. It also was not a clean piece of tuna - lots of marbling and not the good kind. The eggplant caponata was still yummy but it does not equate to a delicious meal if the fish quality and preparation is poor. We have always been strong supporters of this restaurant because of the quality and consistency. Many reviews complain -basically - due to dining time and final bill sticker shock. We enjoy the elongated meal time and have no problem paying for food quality coupled with a service experience. When one is gone and the other is on a steep decline, we’re out, So here is what I recommend (and what we will do next year): wait for a space at the bar to open and have the cauliflower and a salad as a mid-day break.

Awesome space experience

By Sandy P |

We all loved the whole thing - experience, atmosphere and food, except the carrpt cake - no one who ordered that enjoyed it - Bodes swirl ( Lemon Chiffon, Berry Compote, Marshmallow Meringue) was the best choice, beautiful and yummy! Beet salad was pretty and yummy. The steak and fish were good but pad thai looked the best and they loved it. Awesome way to end our trip and top off our "space day," - Star Wars area of Hollywood Studios in the morning, Guardians, and spaceship earth before dinner with space (vs undersea) being our survey choice.

Not worth it. Not even close.

By Secret_Squirre1 |

While visually stunning, & exciting for the younger members of our party, everytjing else was THE PITS. Grotesquely overinflated drinks prices, even for Disney - two "cosmic" lemonades cost $32- the food was... just palateable. One member of our party ordered salmon, and an hour later, was being violently ill all over Epcot as we tried to leave. A bathroom, in an emesis bag, outside the attraction, in the parking lot. Nobody else was sick, before, or after, or became sick with similar symptoms. Food poisoning anyone? The strip steak was... thin, overdone (I asked for it "medium") , tasteless, loaded with gristle. The pomme frites were also flavorless, and Disney has some weird salt embargo going on (none on any tables, anywhere), so unless I wanted to slather the steal with ketchup (and I did not), there was nothing to be done. Another member of our party who had the same as my order, agreed. So that's two tasteless, scant, nasty steaks, miserable potatoes- oh. And the Caesar salad, our appetizer, was enormous... as it was full of white spiny lettuce, and despite the abundant dressing, still managed to be just blah. When I learned the cost of that "experience", I almost fell over. (Six of us- at lunch- with rubbish food - $600+.) The steak we enjoyed at T-Rex in Disney Springs was possibly the best I've ever had - so this was... to say a disappointment, would be an understatement. Adding insult to injury, the "hostess" was seriously unpleasant, and told me to park my ecv around the corner, and walk up a ramp to get to the restaurant. I told her I have hyper mobile joints, and "up a ramp" could cause the knee to pop out. She shrugged. I didn't want to spoil it for everyone, so I slogged it up the ramp. Happily, the knee behaved, but that is just BS- especially as, after being seated, i saw people merrily scooting by IN THE RESTAURANT on their ecvs. To their credit, a manager came by and said he would be happy to find, & retrieve, my ecv for me, but at that point it felt ridiculous, and I declined his admittedly kind offer. There were screaming kids - and I know, it is disney - but i didn't expect so many at what is meant to be an upscale dining event. The food poisoning, cantankerous hostess, shrill server who screamed everything she "said" to us - What a grotesque disappointment. Had I personally been footing the bill, I'd have had something tonsay about that; it was not worth anything LIKE $600 .

Fantastic experience

By KBAILEY |

Wow! We did dinner for four, including 2 kids. The restaurant is awesome! Service was wonderful. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Just entering the restaurant is a really neat experience. The kids loved it. No matter where you sit, you will be happy. Which is not common. The menu is well thought out and there is something for everyone. The drinks were fantastic. Our entrees were delicious. The potatoes that come with the filet….ridiculous good. Dessert was not only delicious but a work of art! I cannot say enough good things about Space 220 and would recommend it to anyone going to Epcot. It is an absolute must stop!

Not worth it

By DeeThunder |

Most expensive meal we've ever had. $312 for 3 people with a tip. Food was mediocre at best. Space theme was dated. Vibe was dated. Not worth the price. Definitely not Disney quality food. Server was fantastic. Employees all very nice. But do not waste your time or money here. Pick somewhere else in Epcot.

excellent ish

By Kathryn C |

atmosphere was great, along with the staff and food and drinks. I had fillet of beef and husband had fish tacos, we loved them both. The puddings look fabulous but as usual with american desserts, they were far too sweet and tastless.

Cool Experience

By Louis F |

Really cool and immersive restaurant. The "elevator" that takes you to space is super awesome and the views out the windows are also really cool. The food was delicious as well.

Space Balls the restaurant!

By Gemma |

Oh dear. Once you get past the nice gimmick of the lift going to the space station it’s all so basic. Firstly there is zero atmosphere, and that’s not a pun! The window looking out to space is just boring. The earth doesn’t rotate as you are connected by a lift to the location so it’s basically a massive picture of the earth..errr wow! So for this alone, you are seemingly charged ridiculously high prices for the most bang average food in all of Disney. Don’t bother as is overpriced and you can get far better food on Disney Springs or anywhere else tbh. The two stars are for the lift experience

expensive, well prepared food in an ambitously themed atmosphere that falls short

By Bert R |

Really expensive, well prepared lunch, but no reason to return. The staff worked hard to keep up the pace and the kitchen delivered our seared tuna with just the right touch. But it's hard to shake the feeling the theming is incomplete or just inadequate to generate the fun or excitement it should for the prices. Lunch for two, prix fixe, was about $130. So once your reservation goes hard, i.e., can't be canceled without penalty, you're on the hook for at least that much. Best to pass this one by, unless you have unlimited funds or have seen everything else and need to kill some time.

Space 220 always worth the wait!!

By melissa s |

we had Christopher bartending! We waited an hour at 12:44 for a walk up in the bar worth every minute!!!

Space Station Dining

Very unique experience!! Our server, Edwin M, was outstanding. He timed our courses perfectly, and checked on us regularly without being obtrusive. As novel as our experience was in this “space station” environment, Edwin enhanced our dining event beyond our expectations. Thank you!

IN SPACE...THEY CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM

By Jin S |

Food was terrible. Everything was bland and the drinks were watery. The only good thing about this experience was the waiter who was really nice. I think the only thing good we ate was the appetizer we had. The screens were either broken or off so we didnt even get the full experience of being "in space" it was more of "Come into this room ,eat our bland food and over pay for the "experience" you didnt get to have" kind of day, Needless to say, they need to get rid of the cooks in the back or retrain them. Save your money

Surprisingly good!

By Lisa Jo R |

Was surprised by the quality of service and food— both excellent! Theming was fun if not mind blowing. Of course the prix fixe was high for lunch but my food was really outstanding! Do request a seat near the viewing port to watch the earth and various objects fly by.

Trip to outer space

By Nick Creal |

Firstly trying to secure a booking for 8 people for dinner was a task in itself but somehow i manage to snag a 6 spot as the 60 day window opened by sheer fluke. Spent the next 60 days trying to add the other 2 but with no success so on arrival early at Epcot headed to the front desk of space 220 and asked if they could fit 2 more to our booking. This was done without a hitch and if you want to eat here it maybe a gamble but you could leave it to the day and try and get a walkup. Now to the actual experience, you walk up to the entrance and then enter the space lift that takes up up to the restaurant before being shown through to the restaurant itself with the changing view looking back at earth. Our server Tim took care of us brilliantly taking lots of time to check with the kitchens that my wife could eat a full meal due to her salicylic acid allergies. The food itself was amazing, one of the best steaks I have ever eaten and well worth the money. Beware this is not a cheap experience but the theming along with the food quality just about makes it a must do meal although probably a once in a life time experience as opposed to a every time you visit one.

Amazing Place

By Mary h |

Best dinner its just amazing . we did the lounge rather the the restuarant but you can still order from any of the menus wide choice. Cocktails to die for. Great waitress very efficent and attentive, i even got my cards to say i'd been to space :-).

AMAZING . . . Out of this world . . .

By Petet8385 |

WOW . . . WOW . . . WOW . . . WOW This place blew our minds. Easily the most expensive family meal we’ve ever had but worth every single dollar. Had seen some mixed review so was apprehensive but didn’t need to be. We did have a wait to get our table and lift into Space but when we got there it was worth it. And more. Service was exceptional and food was absolutely superb. We didn’t feel rushed or like we were waiting at all but spent over 2 hours on the dining experience. When we return to Walt Disney World we will make sure we come back here. The return journey to Earth was also an amazing experience.

One and Done

By addtraveler10101 |

Trying to get in here for years. It was a nice experience. Good service. Food is ok. Cocktails are ok too. Themeing is terrific. Don't get why it's so hard to get in here. We had a nice time, but won't go again.

Mediocre for the price unless it's your first time.

By IIIpl4sm4III |

For the price, it's just not worth it anymore. When 220 first opened, the service was near Michelin Star quality, and it was worth the high price tag. Dinner shares a lot of the same menu items with Lunch. The appetizers and desserts are good, and the entrees were acceptable at best. The staff, ambiance, cleanliness and service was great. The complimentary water is municipality filtered tap, and served warm, which is surprising considering how high the bills can be if you eat here. Seems completely out of place if you ask me. We've eaten here 3 times in 3 years, and the first was nothing like the rest. I think you guys should have really left PRG alone with this one as the quality has noticably tanked. Unless we see a change on social media or hear word of mouth otherwise, we won't be stopping here again. Disneys management constantly min/maxxing everything killed another nice thing in my opinion.

Nice, but didn't live up to the hype

By mr_b_6805 |

A great lunch that didn't quite live up to the hype. Food was wonderful with a few exceptions. We had the calamari for an appetizer. It was exceptionally well cooked, served warm and tender. However, the seasoning was EXTREMELY uneven, and a couple of bites left us gasping for water. The pad Thai, salmon, and burger were incredible tasting and looked amazing. Oddly, however, the fries that accompanied the burger were nearly cold when they were served and very underwhelming. Ambiance was ok, but honestly, morning special.

Christopher aka Space Christopher… best bartender I have ever had!

By Tenisha T |

The absolute best bartender I have ever had is Christopher aka Space Christopher. I have dined at restaurants and bars all over Disney and other places but I have never had an experience like the one I had with Christopher. He is absolutely amazing and just so amazing that I had to go back to Space 220 a second time on the same trip. He made the whole experience fantastic and the drinks were outstanding. He made drinks I had never had before and it was so fun! Christopher is the best bartender I have ever had period and will go back just to see him!!!

Interesting menu and cool atmosphere

By Tom H |

We made reservations for this restaurant as soon as the we reached the 60 day threshold. When you walk in you are greeted by a woman at the counter who asks you to wait in the waiting room. Soon you are ushered into an elevator which is actually attached to a structure that takes you 220 miles into space. In the middle of the elevator is a window where you can watch Earth grow smaller and smaller in the distance. The large, round, dimly lit restaurant, has huge windows looking out into space. People wearing space suits float by, space ships arrive and take off and you can see the curvature of the earth. Lots of fun. The calamari appetizer had a nice dipping sauce, I thought the pad thai was delicious while my wife enjoyed the tender steak. For desert I had the chocolate cheesecake encased in a hard blue chocolate shell. Great food, fun atmosphere and all around a worthy splurge!

Family Dinner

By rscherff23 |

Stopped in on our first night of our Make-A-Wish trip to Disney after spending the day at Disney Animal Kingdom and Disney Epcot. The experience was amazing, my son loved it. Once it’s your reservation time they take you to what looks like an elevator but when the door closes the floor makes you appear as you are launching from Earth into space. Once the elevator stops and you dock with the restaurant. The service was fast and friendly! I will warn you that it is $79 per adult and $35 per kid for dinner. You do get a 3-course meal that includes an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I had the Centauri Caesar Salad, the Orbit Filet Mignon, and the Strawberry Saturn. The Filet Mignon was superb and the Strawberry Saturn was not only delicious but a work of art. Accepts credit cards. I would recommend this restaurant as one of your dining experiences when you visit Disney. My rating BEST.

Cool concept

By gondekp |

Epcot was the first park we were going to on a Disney trip. Space 220 was one of the restaurants that was near the top of the list when Advances Dining Reservations opened for booking 60 days prior to our stay. We had a lunch reservation and the arrival process was pretty straightforward. We had a 4 and 6 year old. So, as you would expect, they thought we were going up on space for lunch. The “elevator” was a quick journey and cool to see earth getting smaller and smaller. We lucked out and had seats right by “window” to space. The images that were visible were entertaining and lined up with the story of being space. The food was better than expected. Keeping mind this was a prix fixe menu so it was a set price for adults and a lower price for kids. But in total you are going to pay quite bit for lunch based on that. Part of the cost is the atmosphere which is legitimately very cool. Especially if you have kids that are into space, planets, astronauts etc. I had the carpaccio and the miso salmon. I was more than happy with both. My wife had the beet salad starter which I tried and it was really good. Kids singing with their options as well. Sometimes after several hours of walking, riding, and sun, it’s nice to sit down in the AC and have a meal that isn’t rushed. Again, there is a high cost due to the prix fixe menu as well as your surroundings. If you are ok with that, I would recommend the experience.

Out-of-This-World Service from Ally at Space 220 🚀✨

By Ahub H |

Dining at Space 220 in EPCOT was already exciting, but our server Ally made it absolutely unforgettable. From the moment she greeted us, she treated us with such kindness, care, and joy that we felt truly seen and celebrated. Her menu suggestions were spot-on, her insights made our choices easy, and her warmth turned a fun meal into a personal, memorable experience. Even while pregnant, Ally went above and beyond with grace and energy — making sure everything was smooth, special, and stress-free. Disney is famous for creating magic, and Ally embodies that magic in the best way. Space 220 is lucky to have her. If you’re planning to dine here, I can’t recommend enough: ask for Ally. She will take your dining experience from memorable to out of this world. 🌌✨

Spectacular Space Themed Dining Experience

By Ifty1987 |

We dined here at lunchtime during our recent visit to EPCOT having prebooked a table months in advance (we visited from the UK). The theming of the restaurant is incredible. From the lift journey to the interior décor - everything felt super immersive of the space theming. The staff we encountered were all super friendly and professional. We were lucky to be seated by the "window" looking out over earth but I think you would have a decent view regardless of where you sit at this restaurant. We ordered from the set lunch menu and really enjoyed our starters and main coursed. Dessert is not included in the lunch set menu but were were able to order some at an additional cost. They were very well themed and tasted nice. The pricing was high as you'd expect for a themed theme park dining experience. You are paying for the immersive theming as well as the food. Overall, this was a spectacular and immersive space themed dining experience and we'd highly recommend.

Space 220 exceeded my expectations, I'll be back

By Fafinsab |

I was a bit skeptical about how the experience at Space 220 would be and if it would be worth the price…..It was! First the cast goes over and beyond to make it an immersive experience and it really is an experience vs a meal. Past keeping up the theme the staff were welcoming, kind, professional, and truly cared about us as guests. We could not get our drinks empty even if we tried and the courses just kept coming at the perfect time. The food was some of the best we have ever had on property. We used to eat at the Garden Grill for the last 10ish years and the quality of the cuts of meat and vegetables have declined significantly over that time. The ribeye I had at 220 was one of the best cuts I have had in a long time and the temperature was perfect. All of our dishes were flavorful, well presented and of high quality. If you are even thinking about it and want a delicious meal with amazing service don’t hesitate. Also know it is not character dining and some smaller kids may get bored after the cool arrival and watching space for a bit, but for pre-teens and teens there is so much to observe and the cast do so much to keep up the experience it really is a blast!

Excellent experience & delicious food

By FSUgirlGreenville |

Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is really cool. You can see astronauts and spaceships floating by. Ben (Benjamin E) was an excellent server as well, which always helps to make your dining experience extra special.

Not worth the money

By JMW24 |

Food was ok, view was not as good as I expected and it was hideously expensive for what you got. Expected to see lots of out of space images but all we saw was a picture of the earth, a space ship occasionally and a few floating people which really didn’t live up to the experience we thought we were paying for. Our Family of 5 spent $800 Australian for what was just a nice meal and one alcoholic drink each.

Great dinner

By Shampeu |

Space 220 is a nicer restaurant located in Epcot. It’s a prix fix menu for $79 and they are able to accommodate dietary restrictions. For a Disney restaurant it did a good job. We had a very attentive, energetic waitress. My first course was tuna tartare in little hollow circles. It was a beautiful dish and delish. My next course was the salmon on a curry sauce. It too was good. The dessert was the highlight. It was a vegan carrot cake that was so moist and delicious. I think for the quality of the food $79 was a great deal.

A good time

By Karolina L |

I think this place is amazing for a little space enthusiast like my son. It really feels like you're in space (although the space dog floating outside the window makes it a little less realistic). The wait isn't terrible, and the kids get excited waiting for their turn to get into the elevator. The prices are obviously for the experience and not the food, which was a 6 out of 10.

Great meal at Epcot

By Jack |

One of a kind! The theming and atmosphere was great as you would expect. We ordered Steak Frites which was delicious and a good portion size. Definitely our favourite meal at Disney. Service was friendly too. You are given a 'boarding pass' at the front desk to take you up to space, however you hand this to your server before you are seated. It would've been nice to take this home as a souvenir.

Great food and service in a fun atmosphere (pun intended)

By Al Y |

This was my second visit to Space 220 in 12 months, and it did not disappoint! First, the atmosphere is really fun. The elevator ride up to the space station is cute, we were warmly greeted at the host stand after walking through the futuristic corridor, and entering the room is a pure Disneyesque immersive experience. Second, the food was great. It's a fixed price at $79 and you get three courses. That's more food than the three of us would typically order, but we really enjoyed everything. First the appetizers of mozzarella and tomato, caesar salad, and fried cauliflower were great to share. My son had the filet mignon, and my wife and I upgraded to the 24 ounce bone-in ribeye and lobster stuffed with crab (about $20 more per entree but well worth it). The meats were all cooked perfectly and had great flavor, and the lobster was dressed tableside with melted herb butter and was really good. The desserts were also really fun, including the carrot cake, chocolate cheesecake, and honey cake. Lastly, and probably most important, was the service. Ally was our server and was the star of the entire experience. In addition to her deep knowledge of the entire menu, she made us feel like we were very special guests, despite having several tables at the time. She made sure we had everything we needed, answered any and all questions, and was just an amazing person to talk to. I recommend you try this restaurant. It's a really fun experience with great food.

One and done

By H Cherry |

I had much better much luck getting a reservation in August. We were expecting the food to be mediocre based on the reviews. The caesar salad had very little dressing- just a lot of bread crumbs. Space Pad Thai w/crispy tofu was VERY good. Definitely would get this again. This was more about the experience which I already anticipated going in, but it’s worth going to at least one time.

Cool first impression, overpriced, and food is just ok.

By Janet K |

The initial experience and impressions are fantastic...getting from Epcot to the restaurant is like riding an elevator to space, and walking into the room is incredible with the massive screens showing earth. After 10 minutes, though, it gets boring to put it simply. We were seated in the lounge which offers great views of the screens, but unfortunately our table was perpendicular to the screens so my spouse had his back to them the entire visit. His view was of the bar that had 4 screens with a rim of earth but nothing else and some very plain walls with no decorations. Main screens had some activities like ships going by very slowly and some space walkers, bothe sporadic, but nothing that was 'wow'. The food. Well, I'm picky and my hubby and I like standard fair. There was very little that we considered 'common'. At the lounge you can order just apps or the fix prix menu which is 55.00 for lunch. That gets you an app and a main dish. Of the apps, all but 2 are served cold, and two of the cold are raw tuna or raw wyagu beef. The appetizers started at 18.00 and went up in price so we decided to go with the fixed price menu. We ended up picking the Ceasar salad for the appetizer, but due to an allergy, I ordered no dressing. They had no other dressings to offer, so I got just lettuce and parmesan cheese and some small croutons. The salad was big, but, you know, lettuce. For main dish - Hubby got new york strip medium rare (came with french fries and chimichurra sauce), but it arrived medium. He ate it anyway, and said it was good. I ordered the pad thai stir fry noodles with shrimp and it was good, but no spiciness at all (5 decent dized shrimp, tails on). Portions were good, but way overpriced. For 55.00 I'll get the filet mignon at coral reef or Via Napoli... both of those are outstanding. The service was good, the waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. To leave, it took 10 minutes or longer to wait for the 'elevator ' to come 'up' with the next batch of Diners, and for several groups of Diners to be finished. You can't just walk out when you are done. For us it was a one and done. Neither the ambiance nor the food were good enough for a return visit.

Not out of this world

By Brad O |

I did the Mission:Space ride, then lunch at Space 220, then went home and watched 'Gravity'. I'm not a scifi or space nut by any stretch, but I have to say it was kind of a fun way to spend a day. As to the restaurant, I'm not even sure the Coneheads or Captian Kirk would approve. The entrance is completely unremarkable, a lot of concrete and some padded benches. The checkin girl seemed irritated that I didn't catch her quickly iterated instructions the first time. I wasn't impressed...this was May 10 at noon. I felt like I was an inconvenience to her and whatever she was (or was not) doing. The "elevator" ride is fun, and realistic. Being escorted into the dining area put me in mind of the Coral Reef Restaurant...intended to be subdued, low lighting, and a bit surreal. Unfortunately the staff cannot prevent rude guests and screaming kids...my visit was replete with both, which significantly detracts from the experience. Perhaps someday it will be a more upscale adults only experience. Every person is different but I just have to say, regarding the table of 6 next to me....if you are going to stare at your phones the entire time you are there, save yourself several hundreds bucks and eat a turkey leg out in the park. You're at S220 to enjoy the ambience. The Coneheads would be ashamed of your behavior. Meps! I had a nice table for one (2 top) in the center of the screens, so I had I nice view of most of what was going on. I took a restroom break and on the way noted a table at the very end of the screens by a wall....If I were escorted to that table it would be a no go given what you pay to be there. My waitress was Michelle. She was kind, and as I've experienced alot as a solo diner, the waitstaff tends to be a bit more personable, which she was. Her service was perfect. If I do return I will def ask for her again. The food was pretty average I'm sorry to say. I had the cauliflower. It was served in the shape of a little pyramid, nice presentation. It was setting on a layer of buffalo sauce. The sauce tasted like what you can get out of a bottle from the local grocery store, not bad, but nothing special at all. The cauliflower was supposed to be tempura style. It was breaded of course but I struggled to find a piece that had any crunch to it, it was kind of just a soggy clump. Heatlamp anyone? I also had the miso salmon. It was good. It came with nothing, just a hunk of salmon on a plate. Glad I didn't have kids with me to feed. This wouldn't have filled them up. I ordered a side of parmesan potato wedges. They had definitely been sitting under a heat lamp. They were mushy and kinda gross. Even the sauce they came with did not help the cause. Unfortunately unlike Disney-run restaurants, this experience does not come with any bread service at all nor mound of butter with sea salt sprinkled on it....so...if you're not getting enough food you'll have to pay for more...nothing is complimentary. (well except a short glass of water with no ice; I guess the old adages are true, in space no one can hear you scream, and there are no ice machines.) I also had 2 non-alcoholic beers. They came each time with a frosted glass; nice touch. Unfortunately I've had better food at my local bar and grill for less than a third of the price. This place has great potential but given the lack of food quality it doesn't even approach being worth the price. I dined at the Yachstman as a solo the evening prior, paid almost $500 (I had an upscale bottle of wine); it was worth every penny. In other words I don't mind blowing alot of cash if the return is good. I know I'm paying for the ambience and a unique dining experience, but Space 220 was not worth the price. With the gratuity my bill for a solo diner was just a little over $100. Will I return? Eh, if I get around to it, yeah. Am I dying to go back? Noooope.

Awesome dinner "In Space."

By atlantacmh |

We were quite pleasantly surprised with Space 220. We knew the price going in would be expensive, and we figured you were mostly paying for the experience and theme of dining "in space." However, the food and service ended up being amazing. My beef short rib was fork tender and delicious. My husband's filet was cooked perfectly. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. The desserts were also a real treat. I highly recommend The Astra!! This place is a new favorite, and we will be back.

Less than stellar

By SusieK1194 |

This place is all about the experience. Unfortunately, ours was memorable, but not in a good way. We were seated 20 minutes late after multiple parties were being seated immediately. We were a party of 5 so not always seated as quickly, I understand. When we were escorted to our table, it was a long table like a bar. We were all seated on one side looking out at the other guests. It became awkward when we sat there for 15 minutes without any waiter speaking to us, although multiple passed by (including the one with the tablet looking at seatings). We felt like we were on display for entertainment purposes. I finally decided to ask for a waiter. By this time the experience was ruined. Waiting 35 minutes in the scheme of things is not terribly long to wait, especially at a busy park, but when you are paying for an experience the wait time becomes part of that experience. The manager did come to our table and tried to accommodate us, including letting my daughter order only a drink since this is somewhat of an “all inclusive” experience that you have to pay the $55 per meal lunch price (she hates confrontation and the whole experience did her in). They did take $20 off the meal, and if you are celebrating anything they will give you a free dessert. The food was good, but Epcot has some of the best food and this place is just not worth it. Salmon was tasty, NY strip was cooked well, and the burger was the best. $55 for a burger is steep when the experience is forgettable.

Wonderful experience!

By Renee B |

We liked space but we LOVED our waitress Mattie!!! You can tell she loves working here. All of her suggestions, we ordered and loved! Gave so much attention to our kids, we were able to enjoy dinner ! Thank you Mattie from ORLANDO!! Your out of this world!

Experience it Once

By prgirl73 |

This is definitely a place you go to once for the experience and never again. The food was good and our server amazing, but $450 for a family of four is a bit steep and the most we've ever paid for a meal out.

Space 220 Review.

By Kyle F |

My partner and I dined at Space 220 a few days ago. Regrettably, and frankly, it was a total disappointment. It was extremely high priced for very poor quality food, especially the Pad Thai. The food lacked flavour and tasted like rubber. Also, our table had NO view of planet Earth - the main appeal to this restaurant advertised across the platforms in the first place. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was a real let-down to our evening at Epcot.

Disappointing.

By Susan B |

Such expectations going in. Calamari were large rings and clumped together during frying. Shrimp tacos were similar to canned shrimp, tiny. Salmon was good but trout $7 at kiosk was far better. Service was unbelievably slow. Annoying as it was close to closing and emptying. Lastly, space vibe is lost unless you have a center seat. It was a lot of money for fair food and poor service.

Disappointing

By Forrest M |

Service was slow, I ordered a steak…. Was cooked appropriately but it was actually cold. Big price for cold food was definitely disappointing. I mentioned it to server to no avail.

Great ambiance, mid food

By Sydney W |

The space effect of this restaurant was seriously amazing. I've never seen a more realistic space simulation--it was so cool and kept us entertained for the entirety of our meal. Our food, however, was just fine. Especially at Epcot, there are many better places to eat. Worth visiting for the ambiance and theming, but the food is not great. We had the chicken pad thai and burger.

Terrible food

By Robert C |

Everything our party of 3 ordered was disgusting. I felt like we were eating heated up left overs from yesterday. Don’t waste your money.

I want to go back into space!

By aimeejemma |

So this for me and my partner was one of the best restaurants we went to whilst going to Disney. I will point it out now ITS EXPENSIVE. I wouldn't take tiny kids personally. Yeah I get it's space (which was so cool) But if you really want the vibe the experience...go as a couple. Our waiter was second to none He was absolutely fantastic we would go back just to have him again Cocktails were fantastic. Food almost looked like from a Michelin star restaurant. And we was incredibly lucky to get high up seats to get the whole vibe It really was so amazing I want to go again I want to go space

NOT WORTH THE EXTORTIONATE COST

By Tony P |

Overall a disappointing and outrageously expensive dining experience. As others have said the elevator was a clever touch and the staff were welcoming enough. However the novelty of the surroundings quickly wore off including for the 6 and 4 year olds in our party. The food was distinctly average and there was a long delay between starters and our main course being brought out. The worst aspect was the 60 dollar gratuity automatically applied to our already extortionate "check" purely on the basis that we were a party of 6. Needless to say we will not be revisiting or recommending this place.

Terrible food. Terrible service.

By Carol S |

Visited with my husband, son and daughter in law who was pregnant and queasy with morning sickness. Three of us were ordering lunch. She only wanted some bread and ginger ale. They told us she was required to order an entree even though she couldn’t eat it. Food was awful. Under seasoned and underdone. Never again.

Fabulous experience

By Christie C |

We had a wonderful experience at space 220 restaurant. The food was absolutely divine and our server Ariana was very attentive and made our experience extra special with all her fun facts and recommendations. Steak was cooked to perfection and food was very fresh.

Awesome for space lovers

By D.902927 |

My space loving boys enjoyed this experience very much. Everyone loves their meals!! The food was top notch. Best food during our week at Disney, beating out Ohana which we also loved. Probably overpriced but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were able to linger. Our waiter, Ben, was exceptional. If you are on the fence, just do it!! Lunch is a better price than dinner.

Wow what an experience!

By Adam and Jay |

Wow what an experience! This restaurant is a must do, if you can manage to get a reservation! You can book 3 months prior to your visit but availability seems to go immediately. We didn’t manage to get a reservation until the actual day of our Epcot visit, were so excited & it did not disappoint! From entry to Space 220 to leaving 2 hours later everything was so futuristic & themed so well, the kids loved it! The food was 10/10 for us with some nice creative twists to the menu. I had Caesar salad, fillet mignon & the cheese cake - the dessert was absolutely sensational, in fact it all was! My husband had the pad-thai & again he thoroughly enjoyed, the kids had cheese moons to start which was breaded mozzarella & for main chicken tendies. At the end of the visit we were gifted space 220 collector cards & my little boy was lucky enough to have a white one inside his pack (this is a big deal for collectors). Would highly recommend & would 100% return! X

Great experience

By Carla H |

We enjoyed the whole experience here. Yes, it’s expensive but they really have thought of everything and our waiter was amazing. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was good. My daughter (aged 6 believed that she was in space).

Worse than Sci fi diner!

By cforan |

Officially the worst food in Disney, even worse than Sci fi diner. You’re forced to get a starter and main from a very limited menu, even when you scrape to find something you might like, it’s terrible! If you like salt with your salt, this is the place for you.

Worth a visit

By Elastoplast |

This place is mostly for the experience and we highly suggest trying at least once. We had taken note that the food was average but we all really enjoyed our choices. Worth trying the shrimp tacos and steak! Be prepared, it is very pricey but they do offer a 15% veterans discount for those that have served.

Unique and fun experience!! The carrot cake is the star :)

By majureks |

We absolutely love it here! We always reserve the lounge so we can enjoy the best carrot cake ever made! You can't beat the ambiance, from the presentation taking you up into space, the incredible customer service, and the views of Earth while you enjoy some cocktails, I would recommend the lounge at least once in your Disney travels! (If you get Michelle serving you, you've hit the jackpot! We felt like we left with a new friend!)

OUR DINNER IN SPACE

By AlabamaMinnie0924 |

Was so excited to get a reservation to dine here and so wanted for it to live up to my expectations. Sadly, it was just ok. 1st, there isn’t any place to sit, no benches, at the check in area. People are just sitting on the ground. The “elevator” into space is really neat, as is the “wow” of entering into the main dining area but from then on it was just an average, expensive experience to us. The 2 person tables are about 3 rows from the windows but you still have a good view of the activities floating by in space. We were in the center but it looked like there wasn’t as much activity happening in the far right windows?? It is a 3 course dinner, NO beverage included and NO bread, like at Be Our Guest at MK. I had the beef ribs/cheese grits which were good and tender but was more like a roast to me. I had the chocolate cheesecake. It was good but had a blue/tangy topping covering it which was surprisingly good. My husband had the pork chop, which came with a long “cowboy handle” which he said he liked. He had the chocolate cake which he said was also good. This is probably a “one and done” for us unless we take our grandchildren sometime. I think it would be really neat to younger children. I think for the $$ we prefer Be Our Guest at Magic Kingdom.

Amazing Experience at Space 220

By Thomas D |

Christopher from St. Petersburg, Fl provided amazing service and gave great drink recommendations. He made our visit magical. Daniela the manager came around and made sure we had an amazing experience. The Strawberry Nebula was a delicious desert the you must try.

Our 25th Anniversary meal

By Anita H |

What an amazing time I had at Space 220. Thank you Carissa for making it possible for us to dine in this out of this world restaurant.! We were lucky to have been waited on by the best waitress ever, Alley! She was amazing and made our special day that more memorable. Steven was also a sweetheart that we encountered and got so many helpful tips from. Staff was great, food was all delicious and we were just so happy to have had such a great experience.

Once and done for me

By kelmel13 |

I would recommend go once and try to get in the lounge where you can order off a menu. It is a fun experience but once is enough for me. We went for lunch and it is a fixed price for an app and entree. None of us liked our meals and the steak was awful. The drinks were just ok. The service was good.

Fab visit

Great second visit we booked the lounge and loved it each time…. We had the sliders pork belly and devilled eggs…. All very good…. Atmosphere 10/10 and our server was fantastic

space lounge 3 children

By marc-andre m |

Enjoyable experience, the food is good. I went to the lounge side with 3 children because the price was way too high for dinner service. On the lounge side it is possible to order à la carte and share dishes, so much more affordable. I recommend for for the experience with children it is impressive as atmosphere and decor.

One and Done

By Gemini76 |

It was worth a try. It was $55/person for lunch. This price did not include drinks. We picked an appetizer and entree. Both were just ok. The service was great, but for what we paid, it was disappointing. What you are paying for is an experience. The space elevator was cool, as was the theming, but we will skip this next time as there are other options available.

Nice idea, expensive, avoid

By gster1977 |

We were really looking forward to Space 220, but overall it was a disappointment. The food was fine in terms of variety, but poorly executed. My crispy tofu wasn’t crispy, the cauliflower was the same—both tasting more microwaved than freshly prepared. Maybe that’s part of the “in space” theme, but it didn’t feel worth the hype. The setting, while clever in concept, already feels dated. I was pleased at first to have a window seat, but in reality we only saw reflections of the restaurant, which broke the illusion. Sitting further inside may actually be better. Service was attentive to the point of being intrusive, which made the meal feel a little forced rather than relaxed. The most frustrating part, though, was the children’s menu policy. My 11-year-old has a small appetite, but we were told he could only order either from the kids’ menu at adult portion/price, or the full adult menu. It felt tight of Disney to impose this—why should little kids be forced to eat (and pay) so much? In the end, a dinner without alcohol came to nearly $400 for the family, and it certainly wasn’t worth it. For us, Space 220 was a mediocre, overpriced experience, and one I’d recommend avoiding.

Brilliant theming, small menu

By darren h |

I don't think there's another restaurant in the world that matches the theming of this restaurant. You can easily make kids believe you are up in a space station. Its fantastic! The food was good but we all struggled to pick something off the menu. Think all the starters were cold starters and for main I had a steak which was nice. The restaurant is quite expensive as you would expect being one of a kind and is worth the experience but the menu does let it down abit. We have enjoyed the experience but we wouldn't go back now unless the menu was updated.

Once in a Lifetime (Is Enough)

By Nigel T |

Attended with three kids aged 15, 12 and 9, one severely disabled in a wheelchair. First off, was disappointing not to be able to choose which kids ate from kids menu, with anyone over 9 forced to have the adult menu, which at ~$80 a head was way too much money and food for British kids with small appetites, especially one of diminutive stature from her disability. We were told she could have the kids' menu upscaled to adult portions and prices, but not the kids' menu. Service was "meh" -- a simple request to see if they had an empty cup or something to lean my daughter's phone on (she watches YouTube at the dinner table when she is tired, otherwise she gets really anxious) was met with blank stares and straight refusal. Likewise when she started trying to tip her wheelchair over, the staff just stared, and when she swung her arm our and knocked her glass of water over they apologised to another table who got splashed lightly, and did nothing to clean up the spillage. At no stage did the staff seem to be welcoming or accommodating to a disabled child, or make any extra effort to improve our experience. Little effort was made to refill our waters either, with the only attention being the halfway "how's your food?" that you'd get in a Nando's. The food was decent. Not Michelin star, by any means, but decent. The steak and the fish were meaty and solid, the pork was excellent, in a really good jus with great flavour combinations. Starters were good too, above pub level, but not worth the price. The desserts looked amazing but tasted one-dimensional: sugar, and not much else. We were happily full, and glad to call it good food overall, but we've eaten better meals in the same price bracket. Experience-wide, it was fun to come up the "space elevator" and the big window-screens give a nice "wow" as you walk in. However, overall there was little sense of wonder in the displayed images: a cheap-looking CGI spaceship, astronauts doing mildly amusing things. I get that the premise is that the restaurant is geostationary, but it would have been much more visually interesting to orbit the earth every twenty minutes. For that price, we also needed some more entertainment -- maybe cast members who bought into the premise rather than looking tired and bored. I mean, I get it, I've worked in restaurants and I know its tiring and boring, but you're not meant to let it show. In the end, I was glad to have visited once, but the experience and food quality in no way justifies the price, and it wasn't even the best food we had in Disney World. Wasn't the worst, of course, as at Cosmic Ray's we'd been served a raw chicken burger, but at least there they made an effort to put things right afterwards.

Great!

Really great experience. Edwin was an amazing server. Very attentive and friendly. Offered to take our pictures too. Food was really good. Probably the kids favorite meal of the trip. Awesome atmosphere. A little cold in the restaurant.

Wonderful meal, service, and experience!

Of the 3 table service restaurants we went to on this Disney trip, this one was the best. We had lunch here on a very hot day. The space ship experience made it a lot of fun. The restaurant was calm and peaceful which we needed after our Guardian of the Galaxies ride. The employees worked well as a team. The tables for 2 are up against a wall, and I would not have been ok with that. I asked for a table next to a "window," the hostess checked, and we were accommodated. Our waitress, Shavonne, was one of the best waitresses I've had at a Disney restaurant. She was prompt to bring ice water, and refills were timely. I had the steak salad (very good) and the blue moon cauliflower (excellent). I had mixed feelings about ordering the cauliflower, but Shavonne was confident that I would like it and said I could trade it for something else if I didn't. (excellent service) Our appetizers and main courses came promptly. Shavonne was attentive to details and made sure to fill our water bottles before we left. All of the employees seemed to work together as a team here which made them stand out from another restaurant that was just as expensive.

Spectacular! 5 stars!

Theming is spectacular and spot on. You really do feel as if you’re 220 miles in space! The food is absolutely fantastic, I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it is. I had Wagyu carpatchio which was absolutely incredible, same goes for my steak. The staff are very friendly, and the whole vibe of the place is unmatched. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it’s a must do!

Gimmicky!

Came here for lunch to see what the hype was about. We sat by the window with “ astronauts and space ships”flying by , it’s fun but a bit of a one trick pony. The food was fine but like most of Disney restaurants way too much, however the staff are more than happy to give you a cartoon to take what you can’t eat away. Service was very good with happy friendly staff. My only gripe was the so called elevator (it goes nowhere) and I can’t believe any one over 12 believes it does! I would recommend the restaurant though.

Class restaurant average food

Really cool concept. Love the restaurant theming and could sit for hours and just be happy. Service was excellent by our waitress. We sat in the lounge so ordered both from set menu and lounge menu. Food was average. Nothing spectacular. Tasty but not worth the price tag which has clearly been elevated due to the theming and restaurant immersive experience

Cool for a one-time thing

By Colin O |

Booked this 60 days out (although I did notice that people were able to walk up and try to get into the lounge - not sure how long the wait though). Very cool concept obviously and my kids really enjoyed looking for all the things out the "window." Obviously crazy expensive (but the portions were big and food/drinks were good). Wouldn't do it again, but a cool one-time experience.

Complete trash….

We had heard good things. Our reservation was booked very long in advance and yet come the day of they were an hour late sitting us. Upon being seated our waiter and waitress ( multiple tables ) were extremely rude. It took 45 minutes for my beer and the waffle which was ordered by my mother was harder than a hockey puck. Dinner three course meal costs 80$!!! For poor service and very poor food is not worth it. The ambiance was neat but not good enough for the price. Worst restaurant experience in a very long time.

Island in the Sky

I have heard mixed reviews of Space 220 as far as the food and drinks - but we really enjoyed it! We ate in the lounge versus the prix fixe, and ordered several small plates for our group of 3. The chicken and waffles, pork belly and deviled eggs were particularly good. Also really enjoyed the Illumination cocktail, the boba really added a great taste and texture. The atmosphere is of course awesome, really loved the attention to detail - as someone who has been a sci-fi fan for 40 years and wanted to go to a space station, I loved the experience.

Definitely a one and done place

By Becky N |

We opted to book for the lounge versus the restaurant as we didn't want to eat at space 220, we agreed to only have one drink each. The drinks themselves were very average, $13 for a non alcoholic cocktail, only $3 less than an alcoholic cocktail felt very expensive and the drink was only ok, definitely not worth $13. The theming going up to the lounge/restaurant is spot on, very immersive but once in the restaurant area, just one big screen feels very lackluster. I was also charged a $20 no show fee by the restaurant despite actually attending my reservation which was very disappointing.

New cool concept Disney restaurant

By cwalker1222 |

This new Disney restaurant at EPCOT has a wow factor paired with delicious food. We have been to many of the restaurants at the parks, and this is by far one of my favorites. You feel like you are dining on a spaceship, the kids loved it. And the adults loved the food. The roasted chicken was amazing. I will go back to EPCOT just for this experience.

Great experience with outstanding food and service. If visiting Epcot make sure you make a reservation as it’s worth a visit.

Great service from Michelle

Our server was very good and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was out of this world. Our server made sure I got a special birthday cupcake for my celebration. It was excellent.

Out of this world delicious

The service we had at Space 220 was out of this world!! All thanks to our server, Ariana, who gave us the best experience and added magic to our short Disney trip!! The food was excellent. The best we’ve had anywhere at Disney! Many thanks to the Chef and to Ariana for her suggestions!

A let down - better ways to waste your $$

By SBR |

I felt very let down by this experience, and I recommended being cautious in any reservation you make. For how expensive it is, the difficulty in getting a reservation in summer, and the promise of a unique (space station like) experience, my expectations were higher. For 2 x adults and a child, we paid slightly less than $300USD - my husband and I drunk water. I didnt even get a table with a decent view; we were in the front/top corner table with pretty much a black corner screen which I had to kink my neck to look up at - the ‘earth view’ you see on their website is not across all the screens, its only across the middle ones and is best viewed from the tables in the middle of the restaurant (or from the ‘walk-in lounge’ areas). Even then, it really isn’t amazing. Quite frankly you get a better view doing the Space: Mission ride (green one). While the wait staff were lovely, we had 2 incorrect items (at different times) delivered to our table and our child’s meal incorrectly made so they needed to wait to eat (while their meal was re-made) whilst our meals had arrived. This was a disappointing experience, and one I wouldn’t give a 2nd chance too.

Totally immersive

By b-bungs |

Great experience but one and done for us Pros - it’s so immersive, from collecting your boarding card and travelling in the space elevator and entering the restaurant the kids were WOW’d. We sat in the lounge which may not offer the awe inspiring huge windows and a cool booth it was however cheaper and didn’t impact our experience or view. The beef sliders are delicious! Our server was great. We didn’t feel rushed even though the restaurant was busy. Cons - although the lounge is cheaper it is still an expensive visit. We ordered the speciality kids drinks with glow cube and space cups. The kids menu is expensive and the portions are huge, too huge! In hindsight I wish we had just come for drinks and appetisers and saved a small fortune! The lounge tables are too small to fit four meals and drinks onto. We had to put drinks on the floor which wasn’t ideal. We arrived at the restaurant ten minutes early and waited outside for nearly 30 minutes in the full sun. There is only one parasol offering shade to a whole bunch of people so when you finally enter you’re sweating and hot which is uncomfortable.

Disappointing

By DanDans |

We dined here on recommendation from the our tour operator. We raced to get booking once we could because we heard it was so in demand. Sadly the food was really expensive and mediocre. The most disappointing part was that we were basically sat next to a black screen that had some stars scattered around and the whole thing felt so rushed like the waiting staff were trying to get you out as quickly as possible. Won’t be returning.

Great Service - Great food

Great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Food was great - waiter Tim was perfect. Had the steak and lobster. Will go on all my fuyute trips to Disney.

Wonderful

Absolutely fab, the atmosphere was brilliant and the food was exceptional, would highly recommend, the prices were a little high, however as the food was so good this was well worth the visit.
