I will begin by saying this restaurant is BEAUTIFUL. I loved the ambience here, from the floor to ceiling windows to the beautiful bar area and awesome layout. Our server was attentive and polite and made recommendations from the menu. However the food was just ok, which was disappointing after reading so many amazing things about it. We ordered the octopus as an appetizer, and there was an strong taste of licorice to it that neither my husband nor I could get past. We took a couple bites and did not eat the rest. Our main dishes came and I was very happy with my lobster and clam pan roast, the licorice taste was actually in this dish too but it was much more subtle and went very well in the tomato broth, the entree as a whole was wonderful. My husband’s entree, the agnolotti was disappointing though. The pasta itself was cooked well but the short rib stuffing was again, not that great. In my opinion it tasted like my mom’s dried out pot-roast stuffed inside a pasta shell. It was not inedible but it just was not anything special. So 2/3 dishes at St. Cecilia were average, and one was great. I let you make the judgement. Maybe we ordered poorly? However next time we go it will be for drinks in the bar to enjoy this lovely restaurant but we will eat somewhere else.

My husband and I loved this restaurant. We ordered oysters, he had the monkfish I had the pasta stuffed with beef short ribs, manager brought out a complimentary beet salad. Bread is to die for and our server Alex couldn’t have been better. Ambiance was good too. We’ll be back, give this great place a try, it won’t disappoint!

Excellent service. Amazing food. Convenient location. Great place for a romantic dinner , outing with friends or even a client dinner.

Service was friendly and fast while modern decor and huge space/ceilings are impressive. Beautiful setting for a corporate or group dinner. Portions are bit small so I recommend several courses as is typical with this style of cuisine.

Our expectations were not high when we realized that this restaurant was located between two huge shopping malls on the lower level of a large high rise building. However, our doubts were instantly assuaged when we were seated and the extraordinary service commenced immediately! In spite f the fact that the restaurant is quite cavernous, we had an intimate dinner for two! Food was very interesting--atypical spices and combinations of items but absolutely wonderful. Large variety of choices and there are even several gluten free pastas available. Kitchen is very amenable to alterations/substitutions. We had a wonderful meal AND experience.

The concierge at our hotel arranged a last minute reservation here the night of our arrival. I wasn't particularly wanting Italian and was skeptical when I learned it was just across from the hotel. But occasionally you get lucky. We shared several pastas and appetizers and everything was excellent. This is not red sauce & pizza; it's American interpretation of haute Italian, in good way. The room is attractive and lively without being too loud. Comfortable chairs & tables, good servive. I would return.

We were looking for a convenient restaurant by the malls. We got a lot more. The decor is stunning! The service was near perfect. The menu may not be exotic or overly creative but the food was prepared perfectly

I was taken here for my birthday and I was not disappointed. The place is just so much fun to be in and the bar is so cool. I want to go back just to have a drink there. The service was very good and she was very friendly. The menu had a lot of different things to choose from as well as some common dishes. I had red snapper and it was excellent. The only thing that I did not like were the vegetables that came with it. Lemon cello is amazing!

Had 6:00 p.m. reservations on a Saturday and sat right away. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Our server was great, but definitely worked the up-sell hard. Our meal was fantastic overall. The mixed greens were underdressed, but everything else was amazing. The swordfish was some of the best I’ve had.

While visiting friends in ATL they had made reservations for dinner at St. Cecilia. I have eaten at restaurants world-wide and this place, by far, is in my top five! First off, our waiter, Cameron, made our night with his extensive knowledge of the menu coupled with his quick wit and warm personality. We are in the restaurant business and if I lived in Atlanta I would steal him away! The food....the food was fabulous in every way! Started off with the cured meats and cheese tray followed by wood-grilled figs. I could have made a meal out of just appetizers, but ordered entrees to include the Agnolotti and Casoncelli Ravioli. Pastas made daily in-house...menu changes daily as well so the freshest of ingredients are used. Highest recommendation for this gem!

I can’t give high enough praise to the staff for the incredible food and customer service that was above and beyond. Our server, Cameron, was warm, welcoming, thorough, knowledgeable, and attentive. We started with the Hamachi Crudo... delicious. Followed by the Melon and Beet Salad... so good. Then we had the Agnolotti with short rib filling... ummm INCREDIBLE. If I had to be stuck on an island and could only have one dish for the rest of my life, I feel like that would be it. So so good. We also had the swordfish which was cooked to perfection, with an impeccable crust and moist (sorry for the cringey word) flaky inside. The of sauce and veg was an ideal complement. Feels like the chef has mastered a balance of flavors. Salt, sweet, acid, heat... it was all on point. We finished the meal with pecan cake and pistachio gelato. Let’s just say I’d probably take a bullet for that gelato. The manager Matt came over to say hello and was so lovely and made us feel so welcome. This place is hitting on all points... we cannot wait to return.

Yesterday a group of friends decided to have Sunday Brunch at this restaurant. Atlanta is very lacking in really good Brunch restaurants, and this one was recommended. It was a very bad decision. The menu is limited to a choice of one dish from five different main courses, egg dishes, pasta dishes, fish and meat dishes etc. Each one of our group had a different choice so we were able to critique the dishes. At $28.00 for one dish, the choices was not the problem. The problem was that the food was cocked by a cook, and not by a chef. The dishes were dry, tasteless, and totally lacking in any imagination. The "buffet bar" and I use that word loosely, was inadequate in choices, and more importantly it kept running out of food. The drinks were extremely expensive, and served in thimble size glasses. Perhaps the real shock after paying those prices, was the service. Or lack thereof. Dishes arrived ice cold, The waiter was too busy tending four or five tables, and our little party ran out of drinks on numerous occasions Since we all had such a bad experience, we immediately Googled the top 20 foodie cities in the USA. Not surprising Atlanta did not even make the top 50. Do not waste your money on this restaurant.

This was our 5th time there and it never disappoints. The staff is lovely and the food delicious. The buratto appetizer is amazing. The “ravioli” amazing. We miss the pistachio cake dessert. Will definitely come back when we are in Atlanta.

We dined there with family for my birthday. I remember this restaurant when it was Bluepointe. I think it has been empty for quite some time. The new owners have done little to update its interior. No color with the exception of the kitchen and bar. Wines by the glass, and bottle for that matter, are dreadful. Wine should be easy to drink. Every one I tried made my mouth pucker. Think high tannin and minerals. Glasses of wine are as high $19/glass. I settled for a couple of them. Ugh! We ordered pasta with a lamb ragu, and one that was combination pork and beef. Prices are around $26/$24 per plate. What comes to your table is a small portion of pasta (I think made on premises) and about two or three tablespoons of sauce. I am serious. My husband and I shared a salad; I don't remember the cost. Salads there are not large enough to share. My sister and her husband also ordered pasta. My niece ordered 6 oysters at $20. Our waiter tried, but messed up our orders and brought the wrong food to my sister and her husband. He would place new wine stems on our table when we ordered different wines, and twice they were removed by some woman who wasn't even serving us. Our waiter would return to the table to pour wine, only the wine stems were missing. My lamb ragu was nothing to write home about. I make much better ragu at home. Sotto Sotto in midtown Atlanta is the place for pasta and good ragu. In fact, if you want excellent Italian food and great wine, make the effort to fight traffic and go to Sotto Sotto. Do not go to St. Cecilia with high expectations or when you are hungry. You could not drag me back there.

This restaurant was recommended by a number of folks. The menu is not extensive but packed with good choices. We had the swordfish and the spare rib ravioli. Both were delicious. And the atmosphere is great!

One of the finest restaurants in Atlanta.. Walking in to this restaurant is a delight to your senses... beautifully designed ! Surrounded by all glass walls..beautifully appointing seating arrangements ..now about the food!! Our server Ella was delightful...she had a smile that made you feel welcome.. The warm bread served before dinner was sooo delicious...the entrees were outstanding... St Cecilia is a great place for special occasions ...treating your out of town guests to this fine restaurant or just enjoying a pleasant evening. The prices are competitive with other restaurants but won’t break the bank! Try it you won’t be disappointed 😊

Always a lovely place for dinner. I’ve had dinners with friends and business and every day time it’s excellent. The menu is very good. They’ve got a great selection and there’s something for everyone. Very nice surroundings and parking is super easy right outside (via a Valet). The bar is great to have a drink at before dinner or even have your dinner at the bar. Delicious restaurant and one to definitely try if you haven’t already.

Lovely atmosphere & bar area along with an upscale menu to select from. Courteous wait staff and tasty meal. The downside was very high noise level and close proximity of tables. We found it to be a negative experience as we were hoping for private conversation & more intimacy.

wonderful brunch good food and excellent service. drinks are not included but worthwhile the extra charge. don't forget to get your preferred dessert early. the desserts are very good and go fast!

I heard Amazing things about St. Cecilia for a few years. My husband and I were so eager to go for a Valentine’s dinner. Other than good cocktails, the pricey $85 each Prix Fixe menu looked fine (even with some vegetarian and fish options), so I also selected the full wine tasting for $65 extra to get a sample wine pour at each dish and I anticipated being really impressed by the food/wine combinations that evening. However at each lack-luster presentation, that wish slipped completely away. The servers never brought my food and wine at the same nor proper time. In fact, twice I was forced to have ‘double tastings’ since the service was completely out of sequence when my food was served. The Primi was fine, the Secondi wasn’t anything special, particularly since the pasta served was clumped together and cold!! And my entree - a fish dish, arrived but was so undercooked I had to send it back!! Not what one would expect given all the hype about this restaurant! Overall, not sure what the great reviews are all about — perhaps these folks mostly eat Fast-Food!?? Doubt I’ll recommend this restaurant and certainly don’t plan on coming back! 😳

Our waiter was very helpful making recommendations on the menu. I had the tagliolini and dover sole. It was delicious. The pasta serving was generous. The cocktails were also great. One of the best dining experiences we've had in Atlanta!

This was my first visit to St. Cecilla but will not be may last! It is now on my list of MUST for my trips to Atlanta.

Many reviews start this way; "In the beginning..." . However, in the beginning, the food and service was better, considering that the restaurant was new. The food was better than the service, initially, but the service did catch up. This isn't difficult when one sits at the bar to expect decent service. The problem, for me, is I sit at the bar and the servers there are always looking for the door at 2PM, 30 minutes before the shift ends. which means I get the check dropped on me & a guest at 2:15 with no other communication. No offer of dessert, or another drink. And the portions have shrunk, at lunch. Last I was there , the chilled seafood salad was a shade of what it once was. 3 rings of calamari? It was disappointing, not the same as before and pathetic. And if I have another Bartender there drop a check without any mention of another sale, because she wants to leave at 2:30, I will never return to St. Cecilia.

I cannot believe that we had never eaten here before, because it is now my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. I can't wait to go back there to eat again. Great decor, fun atmosphere, upbeat and helpful wait staff, and the food! Every dish was phenomenal. My mouth is watering remembering our dinner. Wonderfully pleasant evening for my husband and me as we were both celebrating our birthdays.

Nice food and service. I got octopus and squid ink pasta, both are really good. Taste, texture and presentation, everything is wonderful. Must go place and definetely suggested reservation.

We've been here a few times, and absolutely love it. Perfect place for foodies. It's an upscale italian seafood restaurant. Favorites - The fresh vegan bread is out of this world. My husband really likes the ink seafood pasta and the lobster. The creamy lobster risotto was delicious, but a little salty. The plain pasta does not sound exciting but it's truly fantastic. Downside - I ordered sea bass thinking it would be a fish steak. Nope. The fish came out with a head, and I was completely unprepared for this and could not eat it. You can order half portions which we've done but it's pretty expensive as the price does not change much from the menu pricing for a full meal. I'd suggest paying for single, full meals vs. ordering two half meals. Highly recommend St. Cecilia. Great for date nights, anniversaries, maybe a girls night.

We have been to St Cecilia several times and recently returned. It never disappoints! The pasta is the BEST. The servers are always warm, friendly and helpful with menu selections. We put together our own tasting menu by ordering appetizer portions of the dinner pastas. Beautiful setting, Beautiful food!

We had a table of 6 and ordered various seafood and pasta dishes. We decided to table share and everything was excellent. Our service was also very timely and the waitress kept a constant eye on our wine glasses. Very cool and sleek décor. Only complaint is that the restrooms are 2 staircases up which is a little inconvenient. Otherwise a great experience.

Our latest visit to St. Cecelia confirmed my earlier opinion that it is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta and our last visit was an anomaly. The meal and service were fantastic. Let’s start with the space, one of the prettiest around, with 25-foot ceilings, romantic lighting, banquettes, tables and a private room on the second floor. You can choose from two dining areas, either near or away from the bar and open kitchen. We started the meal with a Large Salumi and Cheese platter, which included Prosciutto di San Danielle, Cacciatorini and Calabrese meats, plus Manchego and Thomasville Tomme cheeses. Included on the platter were honeycomb, fig mostarda, and gnocco fritto. The large was true to its name with three piles of meats and enough cheese segments to pair with the meats. The cured meats ranged from the mild prosciutto to the spicy calabrese and addind a bit of the honeycomb created a delightful sweet-spicy combination. I would have liked little more honeycomb, it was really good. We followed the meats with the Burrata, served with strawberries, atop crumbled pistachios and two thin slices of sourdough bread. While the meat-cheese platter was abundant, the burrata dish was scant. It was more the burrata was one of three components versus the center-staged star. The three items together created a wonderful flavor-texture delight. For my entrée I ordered the Squid Ink Mafaldini with Calabrian chilies, charred calamari, clams, and shrimp. Mafaldini is best described as the curly edges of the lasagna noodle. The dish was delicious and the amount of seafood was focused on the calamari and shrimp with a few clams added, which I was fine with. The pasta did have a bit of a zip to it from the chilies, which I really enjoyed. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Grosso, a simple pasta with San Marzano tomatoes, basil, and smoked ricotta salata. While the pasta was great and the sauce rich in flavor, it was a little on the salty side. For side dishes we enjoyed both the Asparagus with almonds and the Artichokes with salsa verde, the latter being our favorite. Service was spot on from beginning to end. I am back to recommending St. Cecelia as a great restaurant in Buckhead.

The appetizers were out of this world, tender oysters and a marvellous scallop. Also had the fish which was very tasty. Service at the bar was top notch. Highly recommend this place.

Great find. Headed out of town and need fine dining. We found hosts, service and food best value in town. Kind folks, helpful and management enjoyed visiting with us on Monk Fish specialty.

I had a business dinner with a group of 12 last night. We were fortunate enough to snag a private room upstairs in a perfect spot overlooking the main restaurant. We had charcuterie plates for the table to start with that we all enjoyed. I had a grilled octopus as a starter and it was very good. Many of diners had the branzino that looked great. Just about everyone enjoyed the pasta dishes. Mine was the lamb bolognese. Great. Good wine list and attentive service. I will go here agin soon.

My wife and I went here for dinner recently. Food was good and the service was excellent!! The meat and cheese board is fantastic!

Located in Buckhead, it is a very good Italian restaurant specializing in coastal cuisine. Menu is mostly fish/ seafood dishes as well as pasta with seafood. The squid ink pasta and seafood is terrific- it is a bit spicy. Full bar and a nice wine menu. The bar area is spacious when waiting. Service is excellent. It has a very modern atmosphere with a strong vibe. It can get a bit loud and can be difficult to have a conversation.

We started with a few reservations about dining here. The menu "seemed" okay - it was close to our hotel. However, it was fairly new... sort of. We ordered a few things to start and then spent a while battling over " well, this sounds good but maybe that would be better!" You know that conversation. Our oysters to start were good. But not over the top amazing. Just very good. My wife had the Mafaldine and I had the pear ravioli. These two were the stars of the show. We both took our first bite and immediately looked up at each other like "holy $&@+" - we then went into this fake it's not that good sort of lie you tell when you don't want anyone to take your "amazing" food. We both laughed at our silliness and then offer the other a bite. It was amazing. The description on the menu does not do these pasta dishes justice. Chef - A+ for execution Author of Menu - C - figure out a way to articulate how amazing the dish is that's being served.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was excellent, but the food was just ok, nothing exceptional. The pasta is really fresh, though.

St. Cecilia is where it's at! We originally had a reservation for 7:30pm, but ended up calling to get in sooner and they made it work. We arrived about 6:30 and were immediately sat outside. Most of their tables outside are not shaded, so beware when requesting an outside table. Our server was outstanding, wish we could remember his name, but there were lots of cocktails going on! He did an amazing job of being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our time together, while spacing out when food came out. We started with the shishito peppers, which I will dream about for a while to come. They were outstanding, not spicy, but super flavorful. I would say they are the best shishitos I have ever had! For cocktails I went with the Summer in the City, which was refreshing and strong. I am not a scotch person, but those are amazing. Hubby stuck with his usual bourbon/rye with Start Spreading the News, which was also very good. He modified it once he got the first one as it was served in a girly glass with no ice, so he asked for it to be served with ice in a rocks glass and they happily obliged. Next for food we got the Harvest Peach small plate and they were really good - savory, which is not what I usually think of when I think peaches. For entrees I went with an appetizer portion of the squid ink pasta and beef cheek agnolotti. Both were really good, but of the two the beef cheek was the star. Hubby got the Lumache and it was like my grandmother had cooked it! Such a great flavor profile. For dessert we split the Blueberry cake and vanilla gelato - put a scoop on the warm cake and you will be in heaven! We will definitely be back!

Food was good , spaghetti most amazing, service was wonderful and the atmosphere is great and bar is excellent vibe and decor

When we heard that this was one of Ford Fry's restaurants, we were eager to try it. We had been to the Optimist in Atlanta as well as Nashville and Superica. Our party of 4 were seated at a noisy table in an equally as noisy dining room. The space is nice, but more noise than we expected. Our pastas were OK. We wanted to substitute a particular pasta because we liked the sauce served with another pasta better. Our server didn't seem happy to do it and had to check with the kitchen. Octopus and the bread were the best part of our meals. Pastas were just OK. pricy at $30.00 + per entree. Not sure we would return if visiting Atlanta again.

the only reason i am not giving this restaurant a 5....it's way too hot in there and i do not enjoy eating when i'm hot. i don't know if they need different window treatments or a better hvac system but it was very warm and uncomfortable. our waiter was very knowledgable and nice. we loved the naan style bread with the ricotta cheese spread. we got the appetizer octopus special. it was cooked perfectly! i had the rib eye and i have to say it was the best steak i have ever eaten. the steak itself was seasoned perfectly but the bordelaise brought it over the top. the mushrooms and potatoes that came with it were so delicious. we also got a fish special that was excellent (cannot remember what kind of fish it was) but we both enjoyed it. we ordered the crispy potatoes but really didn't need them nor did we enjoy them. they are too fried. we really enjoyed our dinner here and would come back during some cooler weather.

Good food, good service, and outdoor area. Unlimited antipasta bar with salads, breads and desserts. Good wine and drink selections.

The arrows on the side doors led us around the building, fearing that it was closed - it wasn't - beautiful decor, traditionally well-set tables, beautiful linen, top-service standards and Michelin* - worthy food.

Took my wife to lunch here (gift card from our children) and was very pleased with the quality of the food and service. We advised the waitress that we were in no hurry and she spaced out the courses so we spent a relaxing 1 1/2 hrs enjoying the food and atmosphere. We were particularly fond of the Little Gem salad and the Short Rib Ravioli. Prices are reasonable fr the quality of the food.

Honestly one of my favorite gastronomic experiences in Atlanta. I tried the squid-ink spaghettini which was absolutely phenomenal. We also had the oysters from murder point which were so fresh and so good; delicious! Also, our waiter/server Chris was extremely nice and professional. He had an honest and great assessment of the cuisine here and did not steer us wrong. A must stop. Go here!

A business colleague and I came on a Tuesday evening. The service was excellent as was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was bright and airy with a lively bar scene. I started with the chilled asparagus soup which was just ok. I asked for it without the cured egg, but it was in the soup. I ordered the red snapper and my colleague ordered the halibut. My was good and his was great. I will definitely go back, but will try different menu items.

Had a business dinner here. Was very pleasantly surprised by the varied menu. Lamb dish was superbly executed. Would eat here again.

Our family recently dined here for lunch. The sweet potato ravioli was sweet and rich and we have not experienced anything like it elsewhere. It was the best pasta we have ever had. Every other dish we had was also amazing. Our server, Meghan, was very knowledgeable and personable while at the same time being friendly, welcoming and casual. She made the meal special and one to remember. She took a special interest in a member of our party who is a foodie and went out of her way to make the meal a special experience. Highly, highly recommend !!!

I previously reviewed St Cecilia and was contacted by manager, Brain Longacre. He offered to provide a dinner certificate to give things another try, but since I do not live in the Atlanta area, he graciously agreed to send one to my sister and brother-in-law instead (they were with us at the former visit). I agreed to do another review in exchange for his graciousness. My sister wrote: "On Saturday, March 25th, my husband"..."and I had 6:30 dinner reservations at St. Cecilia Restaurant. Upon arrival, the manager, Brian, greeted us and welcomed us back to his restaurant. He escorted us to our table, which was the best in the house, in the corner with a huge window overlooking Peachtree Street. After chatting with us and making sure our table was to our expectations, he left us in the very attentive and capable hands of our waiter, Tsukasa. Shortly thereafter, we ordered a glass of chardonnay, which arrived perfectly chilled. Tsukasa made sure we didn't have any questions about the menu and explained in detail the specials they had for that night. He waited the perfect amount time before returning to take our dinner selections. I ordered the Crispy Duck while"..."ordered the lobster & Chorizo pan roast. Our meals arrived piping hot and the aroma of the spices were making my tongue do a dance before the first bite. The duck was crispy on the outside but so moist and juicy on the inside. The blackberry reduction sauce added just the right sweetness to this dish. The lobster and Chorizo came with huge pieces of lobster that was sweet and juicy as well as the perfectly cooked large shrimp. Every bit had a spoon-overload of seafood. For dessert we had the Sweet Cream Panna Cotta and the Sticky Pear Cake. Both were beautifully presented and both didn't disappoint in flavor. It had our mouths saying, 'ooh la la'. Tsukasa was very attentive, but not over-bearing during our entire evening. We enjoyed a delicious and delightful evening." I would like to express my kudos to Brain for taking the initiative to make things right. Not every restaurant manager regards the concerns of customers. Thank you, Brian!!

I've enjoyed St. Cecelia for business lunches since it opened. It is never crowded, excellent food selections and just enough background ambience to make it perfect for confidential business discussions. The servers are professional and attentive but never overbearing.

The atmosphere was so relaxing and the food delicious. Spending time with almost life-long friends was an added plus. The swordfish was wonderful!

The title pretty much says it all. While I wasn't totally blown away by any of the dishes we had, everything tasted great and was a solid 8.5/10. What sets St. Cecilia's apart in my opinion is their consistency across the whole menu. On top of that the restaurant decor and ambiance is great. Service could not have been better.

I try not to leave negative reviews—truly, I do. But my recent experience at St. Cecilia in Atlanta left me with no choice. It wasn’t just the rubbery U-30/40 scallops, which were so overcooked they might as well have been cut from a tire (you only need to cook them just enough so they don’t split and turn into shoe soles). It wasn’t even the grouper cheeks, served cold and chewy—timing matters in a kitchen, folks. No, it was the risotto that finally did it. Acidic, overwhelmingly salty, and utterly unbalanced. An actual offense to the dish it was trying to be. Three strikes, you’re out. To make it worse, all three of these disasters were recommended by the server. At $120 per person, this was hands down the worst Italian meal I’ve had in recent memory—maybe ever. I expected a high-end experience; instead, I left hungry, disappointed, and frankly, a little insulted. Maybe this is why they were slow on a Saturday night, but still this was unacceptable

We decided to try this place for a post-church Easter lunch/brunch. The restaurant is very nice; simple décor, sort of a "chic country" vibe to it. The menu isn't huge but you can find something for everybody. The food is very good. My disappointment was with the service. Our waitress was in a bit too much of a hurry to get us to order and move us along. The bartender seemed confused by my order for a martini (which btw came in a very small glass and a $15 price tag). Another waiter was a little anxious to remove our plates before we were finished eating. It's a nice place but it's no high on my list of places to visit again.

Very nice restaurant in downtown Atlanta/Buckhead. Appetizers, main course and desserts were all fantastic as recommended by the server. Normally don't order dessert but the SWEET CREAM PANNA COTTA was light and delicious.

The food was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I’ve already sent texts to two Buckhead-area friends with ‘you have to eat at St Cecilia.’ We travel a lot - biz and pleasure. I don’t recall being so disappointed to leave an area because I didn’t get to try more items on a restaurant’s menu! This is a first for me. Our food was scrumptious! And, yet, I drooled as servers were delivering food to nearby tables. Fabulous! Thank you to the kitchen crew and the wonderful lady who brought us TDF bread.

This was our first visit to St. Cecilia's restaurant and I hope its not our last. From the cocktails to the dessert I noticed little things that elevated your drink or dish to the next level. The actual dish was done very well but they also added another little sparkle to make it stand out. The waiter was also very good in helping us choose an entre for the evening.

I asked a 'local' fried for his advice on where to take my Team and a consultant to dinner when we were in Atlanta for a meeting. He told me that St. Cecilia was his favorite restaurant. We were not disappointed. There was a group of 7 of us, and we all ordered something different, which gave us an opportunity to savor a bite or so of each others meals. This place was fantastic...one of my best all time dining experiences anywhere that I have traveled. The food was incredible, the wait staff superb, and the place had a 'vibe' that was extremely pleasing. The wine list (something important to me) was wonderful, as well. All of my colleagues were very impressed. If you are in Atlanta and want a real treat, give this place a try.

The atmosphere is beautiful, but it didn't begin to make up for the rest. We had the salmon Crudo to start, which was a huge disappointment. Small pieces of salmon literally floating in a sea of olive oil. That's it. Not even so much as a turn of the pepper mill or a sprig of parsley. The salmon itself was borderline. The arugula salad was sorely lacking. As simple as this salad is to make, they missed on two of the four ingredients. A generous portion of arugula, but served only with three small shavings of Parmesan, and barely a whiff of lemon juice. I requested salt and pepper which was never brought, though they did bring more cheese and lemon. We ordered one halibut which was perfectly cooked and sitting in a lovely pistachio pesto that actually did compliment the fish nicely. Great dish. The swordfish, unfortunately was a disaster. It was sliced and served like I've never seen before, nor do I ever want to. It was a thin slab. Yes, like a piece of ham you would put between two pieces of bread with cheese. The sauce was plentiful, and likely tasty from the look of it, but the thin slab of grilled swordfish was an abomination. I was shocked that the chef would be willing to put it out there like that, and how it got past the expediter is anyone's guess. One bite, just to give it a chance, then we had to send it back. By the time my husband was completely finished with his meal, my replacement dish finally arrived. Four small scallops sitting in a puddle of thick butter. Yes, thick - not creamy - just thick, almost like they added some thickener or something to it. Of course they didn't, right? The waiter told me the manager was going to come to the table, (we didn't - ask, he just offered) but he or she never made themselves known. If it was a manager that delivered the $45.00 plate of 4 small scallops, again with no side, no effort whatsoever to make it even look appetizing... and no acknowledgement of the mishaps. Dessert was good - but wouldn't you think, after all that, they might offer to comp it, as a token of good will? Nope. We don't mind spending for quality, but this is place is a rather expensive gamble. We definitely will not return.

I made reservations at St.Cecilia for a bachelorette dinner for a bunch of foodies, and it did not disappoint! Our servers were excellent, spoiling us rotten, and the restaurant had a very nice atmosphere. I've been to Italy multiple times and come from an Italian family, and St.Cecilia's pasta is some of best I've ever had.. and I've had A LOT of pasta. Also, the figgy pudding is one of the top 3 things I've ever eaten - do not skip out on dessert, and get the figgy pudding. Overall, everyone in our party was blown away by the food and the service - easily some of the best food we've eaten!

We had squid ink pasta and agnolotti. I liked it very much, but I mentioned something to the server that was really more of a suggestion for future for the chef than a complaint. She took that to the manager who then came over and we discussed. They were very gracious. The decor is sharp and modern. It is not too noisy, which is a peeve of mine. We did not wait excessively for our meal either. Loved the place and would absolutely return.

This Buckhead restaurant has an indoor and outdoor (seasonal) sitting area facing a mall so not the most exciting view and an entry way that is to the side and up a level from the main restaurant. There is valet parking but also free parking in a garage about a block away. Our servant knew the menu extremely well and was very eloquent with his description of the dishes. There are raw fish entrees, salads and hot appetizers, pasta, and fish/meat entrees. We tried some of nearly all except the salads and were highly pleased by the mix of flavors, textures, and fresh ingredients. There are some excellent wine choices by the glass and the bottle including a nice selection of dessert wines. The kitchen is open so it is possible to watch the ongoing preparations there. All in all an excellent dining experience.

This restaurant is in the heart of Buckhead and the food was truly superb. Very dramatic decor. The mix of pasta dishes and meats made choosing difficult, but the brisket agnolotti is excellent - and a house specialty. Our server was very attentive and personable. Overall, a wonderful fine dining experience. The noise level (common in many restaurants) is the only complaint I would have and will certainly return!

Delightful dining space and bar with a menu filled with tasty menu leaning towards mediterranean. Perfect spot for after work drinks and dinner with friends.

It is an OK restaurant, nice bar, nice wine selection, good menu, good atmosphere and decoration, the pasta Caccio Pepe is overrated and their service is artificial. An OK place for Atlanta standards maybe a bit overpriced

Euro/Mediterranean food. Been here about 10 times but never took the time to write a review. So here it goes...The service was very good. The food was excellent. We had multiple courses and each one was executed superbly. Some suggestions--tuna tartare, hamachi, garganelli, agnolotti, branzino, and even the chicken! This is not a knock on the restaurant but the valet parking is super slow, the guys were working hard but they need more help. Definitely would not let the valet issue impact my decision to go back.

The ambiance at this restaurant is lively and very fun. Our professional and warm natured server created a relaxing dining experience for us. We sat in a side booth which I recommend to people watch and it was a little quieter. I highly recommend having the squid ink pasta with shrimp, clams and calamari. It was as good as any pasta I've had on my many trips to Italy! My husband had the monk fish which he raved about and which is not a typical fish to find on a restaurant menu. I suggest sharing some of the delicious starters. We loved the grilled octopus and brussel sprouts Caesar. The warm bread and extra olives were icing on the cake!

The food is spectacular. The wait staff is so friendly. Love the buffet which has so many different things to choose from and then the menu is great. Its such a nice place for eating.

My husband and I stayed next door at The Whitley and St. Cecilia was recommended to us by several people. I’m so glad we decided to try it out! We ordered the charcuterie to start, delicious. My husband had the Agnolotti with braised short rib. This dish was definitively the highlight! I had the classic Cacio e Pepe which was wonderful as well. Our server was so sweet and knowledgeable. We will definitely be visiting again!

The valet dude was eating his lunch at the stand instead of greeting cars. Not hired by the restaurant but a sorry beginning. Inside we were warmly greeted by a gracious hostess. I inquired about the location of the restrooms and she motioned up the stairs, which I am unable to climb. However there is a lift down to the dining area and another restroom at the far end of that level. The beauty of that soaring space and the decor is truly amazing. I could have sat there all day! It was lunch and the bartender was also our waitress. She knew that menu perfectly and was extremely professional. The menu is seafood and Italian and offers many choices. I had an “open-faced” fried fish sandwich with enough greens on top to be a side salad! There was one slice of bread under the 3 pieces of fish and thankfully it wasn’t on my diet because it was sliced so thick I’m not sure I could have eaten it. The sandwich needed a little more of the sauce to give it a bit more flavor. One companion had stuffed pasta made daily in the kitchen. The presentation was beautiful and she thought she would be needing a to-go box. Nope! Every smidgen was gone! The other companion had a mountain of a salad which she declared to be delicious. We enjoyed our trip to St. Cecilia and will definitely go back.

I’ve had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant multiple times as my office is in the building. There are times when I’ve had a great experience, friendly staff, good food, etc, and unfortunately, times when it’s simple blah. That is the reason for my rating and title, the inconsistency with the experience limits what’s possible with St.Cecilia. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic, great bar, nice outdoor area, perfectly situated across from Phipps Plaza and Lennox Mall, however, management needs to eliminate the variability in order for this restaurant to be considered a place to visit when in Buckhead.

for my daughter in law. The interior of this restaurant is STUNNING. Sat by the huge windows on a very comfortable settee that wrapped 1/3 of the way around a circular table. Son and wife had identical seating on the other side of the table. Very unique and comfortable way to enjoy the meal. Server Rae(?) was totally attentive and professional, she was right on time with everything, without being obtrusive. Everything was delicious. Different set up for brunch than anything I had previously experienced, but it works to perfection. Antipasti and desserts are self serve and attractively presented. Entree choices ordered from the menu. The skirt steak was marinated and prepared so it melted in my mouth. A bit pricey, but a definite special occasion winner!

I finally got around to going to St Cecilia on Friday. We were treated to incredible service while they served up great food. Our small plates, the past and the entree were all equally as good. Very elaborate surroundings but not pretentious . it was so good we went back last night ! Glad we live close.

This was our 3rd visit to St. Cecilia’s and it was the best yet. 3 of us in our group wear hearing aids. We asked for a quiet table and they delivered just that. That was very much appreciated. The service was outstanding; Donald went well beyond expectations and ensured that we had a great experience. The Italian bread and dipping sauce were fresh and flavorful. We sampled a couple of the salads and enjoyed them both. 3 of us had fish entrees, striped bass and halibut and they were perfectly prepared. I had the lobster risotto and it had a generous amount of lobster and was delicious. We capped all of it off with dessert and espresso. A wonderful evening. I will pick one nit; the Chardonnay was $23 a glass; a much higher price than the other white wine options. While we didn’t have to order it, we did anyway. So shame on us.

Set in a spectacular building between Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, The restaurant has great I’ll be holes. Service was stellar from start to finish. Wine cocktails were good, and the appetizers were good, especially the octopus (5/5). Fritti misto of vegetables were nice (4/5) The pasta dishes, however, were a let down, despite our request of an off menu item. The spaghetti carbonara, normally a weekend item, was requested for a weeknight, and was graciously accommodated. However, the carbonara was overly peppery, not as creamy or even an appropriate color (dark brown!) as carbonaras should be (2/5). The caccio e pepe sadly was dry (3/5). Panna cotta for dessert was good (4/5), as was a pear tort. The wine list was quite extensive and (generally) expensive, though there were a sufficient number of moderately priced wines to suffice. Again, service was stellar throughout the evening. Dinner with wine for four people came to about $100/pp.

Ambiance is nice, we used to like alot, menu has changed , and the waitress at the bar was HORRIBLE, Rude, and Aloof, UNattentive, ,just bad attitude and service... shouldn't be in people service if your that miserable.... Marisha , not good when you spend that much money and get treated that way.. very disappointed in mostly our waitress.

A fun filled dining experience as we went on a crowded Saturday night. Clearly loud...it was a tad difficult to have a conversation but the excellent menu, attentive wait staff, and delicious 3 couse meal overshadowed the din. A terrific addition to the Atlanta dining scene.

I did not know much about this place until a friend invited me with him to a business lunch on a Thursday. It is located in an office building right on Peachtree Street in Lenox and valet is available for $2. The restaurant is very large and contemporary. It was only half full when we arrived, but became busier as were sitting. My friend and I were early meeting two other people, so we decided to get started on drinks and appetizers. I had some beer called Allagash White, which was light and good. My friend had some Pinot Noir, which he enjoyed. For appetizers, we started with the whipped ricotta, which was excellent. Next, our other two guests arrived and we ordered two more appetizers: charred calarmi and chilled oysters. Both were good. For lunch, I ordered the octopus and chorizo espetatas, which was excellent. Others in my party had the skirt steak, swordfish and shrimp and market fish pan roast. All were good, especially the swordfish. Once we finished dinner, we had dessert. We ordered chocolate ganache tart, pistacho layer cake and sweet cream panna cotta. All were good, particularly the pistacho layer cake. The dress is more business casual, primarily due to the professional cliente from local offices. The prices are quite expensive, as expected with the ambiance and clientele. However, the overall experience was great and the food was great. I would recommend this for a business lunch or dinner or a small professional group.

2:00 brunch on Sunday was extremely disappointing. All entrees were VERY heavily salted, one totally inedible. Desserts seemed frozen and thawed. Some nice fresh fruit would have been great. Brunch for two with no alcohol or other extras was over $80.

St. Cecelia is very disappointing. Mediocre risotto; over-cooked swordfish; average squid ink pasta. Excellent service. Very good gazpacho. Non-impressive desert. Nothing special about wine list. Valenzuela, Sotto Sotto, Pricci and La Grotta are much better. No reason to waste your time or $$$.

I’ve eaten at this restaurant a few times before, and it’s always been good to Ok. I love the ambience of the restaurant, but the food is just ok. Today, at brunch, the food was so underwhelming. We are not big eaters in my family, but our portions were minuscule, especially the 3 pasta dishes at the table. They looked more like appetizer portions-really really tiny. A rip off considering the prices. We had a kid order of spaghetti bolognaise for the 7 year old at our table, and his meal was twice the size of the adult entrees, and his meal was regular kid size. As we were leaving, we spotted the food size on the table behind us, and they had way larger portions. When a restaurant is this inconsistent, it’s not worth it. Today was all about mass producing for the Easter crowd. They were obviously trying to ration the servings in order to cater for the massive crowds at Easter. There was no attention paid to service today. Then, to make it worse, a random server came up to me and said she was sorry- my entree didn’t come with eggs, but I ordered the chicken dish, and my order wasn’t even meant to come with eggs! The bread basket could also be brought out warm-instead of cold. That extra touch makes a difference. Conclusion-St Cecilia has a nice ambience, but don’t go there for nice Italian cuisine, or for nice service. It’s not worth the prices on the menu. . If you want great Italian, go to Portofino-they never disappoint, and always consistent service.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary with family on Saturday night. This was our first visit here and it was wonderful. The service was perfect. All of the staff was very friendly and added to our enjoyment. Chef Craig is the best. From starters to desserts all the dishes were perfect. We tried many different dishes and all of them were outstanding. We will be back on our next visit to Atlanta.

Food was good, on par with Ford Fry restaurants but not the best in his group. Tables are very crowded. My wife and I were on our anniversary dinner and though there were multiple two-person and other-sized tables open elsewhere less crowded, we were placed right in the middle of a line of occupied three two person tables. Couples were on either sides of us so close that it felt like we were all sharing one table. The server could barely fit between the tables. This put a bit of a damper on what we were hoping was a nice anniversary dinner. We all had to talk over each other, it was not very romantic. The service was not great, server was less than attentive. Overall, not worth passing up going to the Optimist or a ton of other, better options for atmosphere and service.

Great place with great food! A very large selection from which to choose and it was all wonderful! It was buffet style and I just wish I had more room to keep eating! It was a very slow pace and very relaxing and enjoyable!

Very good salads, fresh fish and pasta. I work in the building and regularly eat lunch there. The wood grilled chop chicken salad is excellent. They always have a few good fish options. Service is always very good

Great ambiance with great food. I’ve tried most items on the menu. The short rib ravioli is phenomenal. I also recommend ordering the bread with ricotta to start. Their seafood and pasta options always turn out well. The seafood stew is great for a cold day.

Delightful lunch here in early March. Like the space - great light, tall ceilings, glass and decor all very cool. Service was professional - informative and not hovering. Talented kitchen delivered fresh salumi, braised calamari, cioppini and dessert (suggest they reduce the portion size of pear cake and cut back on the sauce volume). Plan to return several times to sample dinner menu.

OUTSTANDING evening at St. Cecilia! Love the gorgeous interior, and the menu is FULL of intriguing and delicious options. We had a wonderful server, who was engaging and fun and absolutely added to our experience. Another one of Ford Fry's gems! Chef Craig Richards is KILLING it in the kitchen. The squid ink pasta was so authentic and delicious! Cannot wait to go back! Great cocktails and approachable wine list. Love St. Cecilia!!

St. Cecelia did not disappoint. It is more of a seafood-Italian restaurant. We started with the gnocco, octopus and arancini - all were so tasty!! The pasta and entrees were delicious as well. Our server was very knowledgeable of the dishes and gave great feedback on the wine we picked. We were there for a work dinner, but I could see where it would be a fun place for date night or girls night. I highly recommend!

From start to finish our meal was spectacular. The bread is yummy with a great crust served with olives. Our food had great flavor and was unique and different. Not the predictable pairings or preparation. This is our second time here and both times the service was impeccable. They must take a lot of time training their staff on the menu as well as how to give good attentive service! If I had any complaint, I would say some of the portions are unusually small. We ordered the risotto and it was the size of a side dish. Delicious but small. I would highly recommend this place for a date night or a night out with couples. If you want a cozy atmosphere, be sure to request a booth.

Ate here with coworkers. The design of the restaurant is very french and there is amble outdoor seating. Waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Food delicious. would definitely go back.

St.Cecilia is around the corner for us. We have not been here for a while since we have stayed in during the pandemic. Our apps were great, oysters and prosciutto. No cooking required. However, after that disaster. My cacio e pepe pasta was super heavy cheese and no pepper. My wife lobster seafood stew was luke warm and the fish was overcooked to the point she thought it was fishcake. When I told the waiter my issues with the cacio e pepe, he asked me if I wanted so pepper. Like that would fix the dish.... Still hungry I ordered desert (silly me) and the crostata was undercooked. Raw dough... I tipped 20% on our $200+ bill because the service was adequate and i hate to stiff people for a kitchen they do not control. But when I voiced my honest opinion after I was asked how things were I got quite the attitude. I wished I had voided ny opinion before and my tip had been different. We will not be back.

Dear St. Cecilia, Oh how I love thee...Still dreaming of the fresh baked focaccia bread served with the most delicious whipped ricotta spread and the BEST Cacio e Pepe of my life!!! Until next time, Xo, Morgan PS- Ask for Matthew for your waiter! He was fantastic, passionate about the menu, very knowledgeable, and so delightful until the very end!

Good atmosphere, fish lunch, fine wines list (a little bit short). Average cost 70$ each. We'll see again.

Great restaurant at the base of the Pinnacle building in Buckhead. The amazing and bright decor is only outdone by the food. All of our plates were excellent -- the agnolotti was especially memorable. Service at lunch time was on point. An absolute must-try even if you are not in the building for a business meeting.

Was seated right away for our reservation, restaurant was crowded on a Tuesday night. Atmosphere is really nice, not too loud, but not stuffy either. Starters of crab of the moment and scallops were delicious and so fresh, but the highlight of the appetizers was the charcuterie plate. Great portions, delicious meats and cheeses served with some naan bread. For the main course, we stuck with the pastas. Agnolotti, Tagliatelle, Squid ink spaghettini and pear ravioli were all amazing. All hand made, sauces not overpowering at all, really let the pastas themselves shine. The service was excellent, friendly and welcoming. Our server offered some suggestions but was not overbearing at all. Pam the manager made sure to check on us a few times and was very friendly when we asked questions about the restaurant. Definitely a must go when in the Buckhead area.

2/15/2018 - 12:00 PM my wife and I had lunch at St Cecilia this past Wednesday, I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back. The parking was $8.00, Pellegrino warer $6 average, bruschetta $9 bread seemed to be stale over priced, Salmon $26 over priced farm raised no better than Atlantic salmon, Pansotti $13 was okay to much cream or butter, chocolate budino $9 over priced it was okay. Service was good.

ATL has thousands of cool restaurants and hundreds of excellent restaurants, but "fine dining" is for relatively few. St Cecelia is one of them. The place is busting, not staid. It is gorgeous. After dropping the car at the valet, the arrival is via a stunning staircase descent past a long, high-energy bar to a high-ceiling dining room. Most tables are in the round, with comfortable benches. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a special place, with trained, excellent servers. I brought the whole family this time, to celebrate a birthday. We had the grilled octopus (wonderful), every variety of pasta (also wonderful). My wife had the monkfish, which she raved about. Prices were high, but not outrageous. If you are in Buckhead, this is in the top five choices. Women can dress up but its not essential.

I enjoyed the craft cocktails, the olives, cheese and meat board, burrata, and the short rib stuffed pasta. All really delicious. I am going to make this my frequent stop when I'm in town.

Food was very good, reasonably quite and overall a very nice evening. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall a very nice evening in a big city like Atlanta.

St Cecilia is everything you want in a restaurant - great ambiance, great service, great food (especially the pasta). St Cecilia is also expensive - there are other alternatives - the other alternatives might not be as great but far less expensive.

Recently, I attended a business dinner at St. Cecelia in Atlanta. My first impressions were classy, elegant and nice venue for a business meal given the noise level was not too loud. The table started with warm olives, meats and cheeses to share. We then enjoyed various salads and dinner entrees followed by dessert. I personally started with the house salad MISTICANZA. It’s a very light and yet flavorful salad with hints of lemon, herbs and yet with a bit to much salt for my personal taste. I then enjoyed the Crab Risotto which was extremely flavorful and cooked to perfection. For dessert the table shared Pear Toffee Cake which was simply outstanding and not too heavy. The prices are moderate to expensive range as each item you order is alacarte. The service was top notch for the entire meal. Overall I would rank the portion sizes as average to small but yet plenty for what someone on a healthy diet should consume. Overall a very nice experience for an evening business dinner.

Food and service are impeccable! Third visit, always ordered the specials, they have never disappointed.

At first I was avoiding this place because I'm not the biggest seafood-lover, and I only have a limited time in ATL. But I'm glad I went, this place is not too seafood-y at all! It's a lovely dining space, with even lovelier service. And the food was mostly completely spectacular, with just a few clangers. The Must Orders: The summer salad, octopus, dandelion tortelli, cacio e pepe, and the AGNOLOTTI which was the shining star of the meal. The Meh: The hamachi and branzino. (Be warned: if you order the branzino, it will come to the table as a whole fish, head and all, which is the usual way it's served. But then the server will have to hover for an awkwardly long time while they cut off the head, the tail, and then filet and de-bone it for you at the table. It's... a lot.) Desserts: Get them all. We got to try ALL of them, and they were ALL mind blowing. But if you have to chose just one, chose two and get the pistachio cake and the chocolate ganache.

Located right in the middle of Buckhead next to Phipps Plaza, I knew this would be a busy & pricey spot. My fiance and I went here to celebrate my birthday in June and we were ready for a fancy date night. I believe they change their menu up regularly, but if you see any of the things I mention, I recommend getting them. They start you out with bread and butter for the table. The butter is so creamy and flavorful! Once we were ready to order, we went straight for the meat and cheese board. For an entree, we shared goat cheese ravioli and a seared white fish. We finished with the ricotta cheesecake topped GA peaches. The service was great, they were very attentive and had a lot of insight into the wine and bourbon. For those that tend to order the cheapest glass of wine (hello, me) if you're looking to spend an extra buck or 2, get their suggestion for a red or white.

Went because of the name--and everything was great! Had a reservation through Open Table but we were seated early due to availability. Wait staff was superb; very attentive. $2 valet parking though we opted for our hotel's shuttle. After dinner latte was lukewarm but immediately replaced by a steaming one when I mentioned it. Striped bass with side of crunchy potatoes were delicious. Nice ambiance for a personal celebration.

Ate here on a recent Saturday night. Service was very good. Eyebrows went up at the above-average prices. I expected upscale - I did not expect complete outrage. $75 per person, with just ONE SINGLE glass of wine. In addition, monkfish was so salty we really should have sent it back. For the money, I want to be wowed, not desiccated. Hamachi was good but microscopic for $20. Six oysters - $20. I am someone who preaches quality over quantity, but I also do not enjoy feeling ripped off. Kudos for service and excellent blueberry bread pudding, but for those of us not quite in the 1 percent, much better seafood and values are to be found nearby at Kyma and Bistro Niko.

Great atmosphere and vibe. The homemade pasta is awesome, we ordered some as a first course for the table. My guests got a diverse mix of the seafood, steak and chicken for their entrees and everyone had great things to say about the food.

It is a restaurant that we drove by often, so we were quite curious to visit and taste the food. The dishes were very interesting and well presented, but the portions were not too generous, particularly the appetizers.THe service was at times a tad intrusive.

Great restaurant. nice atmosphere and a wide range of nice food. Service was good. Its located in Buckhead. highly recommended.

We've been to St. Cecilia dozens of times and I have long counted it as one of my favorites. Based on our last visit, it now ranks as MY FAVORITE Atlanta restaurant. My husband and I created our own tasting menu of sorts as we wanted to try so many things. We had the watermelon gazpacho which is wonderfully refreshing and just tastes like summer. We then shared the summer salad which again, was so fresh and delicious, just amazingly good. We then had my favorite pasta dish, Casio E Pepe. So good I was tempted to order it for dessert. We then shared the halibut which was also perfectly prepared. The only OK course was the dessert, the Tre Latti Torta...wouldn't order it again. But, everything else was exceptional including our waiter, Josh. Can't wait to return!

For our son's graduation from Georgia Tech, we wanted to celebrate at one of the finer establishments in Buckhead.. Our experience at St Cecilia was mixed. The six of us found the wine and drinks we selected to our liking and of the appetizers, the "cured meats and cheeses" was outstanding. The servers were pleasant and attentive, however it took over 90 minutes from placing our order to receiving the entrees. We all chose pasta dishes which ranged from disappointing (Watercress Tortellini) to outstanding (Agnolotti). After spending three hours there we chose to go elsewhere for dessert. Over all the feeling was that portions were small for the price and the lengthy wait was disturbing.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful! We were very impressed with the wine list and ordered two amazing bottles which both blew our tastebuds away. They have a wine captain on staff if you need any help or recommendations - so don't be shy to ask! We ordered the lamb and the snapper as entrees; watermelon salad and asparagus soup as apps. All were delicious. The portions for the appetizers were small so I would not suggest sharing. Each guest should order their own. We had sweet potato cheesecake for dessert which was also perfect. They offer valet.

My girlfriend and I went to St. Cecelia this past Saturday for a date night. I have been to this restaurant before when it first opened, but I wasn't thoroughly impressed. I am glad that I went back, my girlfriend had never been so she wanted to try it, because the second time around was significantly better. The bartenders were friends and made good drink/wine recommendations. Our waiter was Drew and he was awesome!! We told him the type of wine we drink at home and he recommended an awesome bottle for us. Drew's food recommendations were also on point. The squid ink pasta was the best thing we tried, but all the food was really good. We will be going back for the squid ink pasta and requesting to be seated in Drew's sections so he can recommend more delicious things for us to try.

My husband and our son went here for dinner. High ceilings and spacing made us comfortable, as did the care by staff with efforts at COVID prevention. At first we thought it might be too noisy, but the area we sat in was not bad. Kazhan was our server and he was one of the best waiters we have ver had anywhere. He was extremely knowledgable about the menu for our two celiac guys. I had a great cocktail and then the crab gazpacho and the agnolotti. If you need to eat gluten-free the place is something - they make their own GF pastas. We all had pastas for either a starter or main and they were superb. We had a great bottle of wine that had a reasonable mark--up. We will definitely be going back here again.

I would characterize this as a mediterranean fusion place. The portions are on the small side but with a lot of flavor. We shared the octopus which was very good. The salad was pretty plain. Then we split three pastas. They were all rich so the small portions worked in our favor. Good wine program and attentive servers.

I read the reviews before going to the restaurant and it is true that sitting is a little tight. Our table was right next to the next one and this is how it is in most European restaurants bur we are not used to sitting this close in the US. However, the food, the wine, and the service were all fantastic! I’m Italian so I know Italian food and their bucatini and their agnolotti were delicious. We had a great waiter with a fantastic service attitude. I’ll most definitely be back!

The space is creative and open with tall windows and patchwork curtains. We sat in their small outdoor section. We shared the trout crudo and it was excellent. Then we had a salad. All three of us ordered the red snapper which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The wine list gives a nice quality selection. The service was attentive.

This is a unique Italiant restaruant in the region, the plates are great , pasta is fresh , the oisters and raw bar are exquisite. The wine list is one of the best in town , check alway new wines in their list ! Pasta and the quality of their beef is veru good. Leave space for dessert. Nice and cozy place , service is very good, and friendly.

We had a great meal at one of the high tops. The waitstaff was extremely helpful. The Pasta is hand made in house daily. The Salume and cheese platter is an amazing way to start the meal. You can share pasta dishes as an appetizer. The caccia and peppe was a great choice, so creamy and delicious. The salads were all excellent made with seasonal produce. The fish dishes were cooked perfectly. The side dishes were also excellent the fried potatoes with an aioli could actually be an appetizer too. the escarole and beans was OK. The plum cake was like a bread pudding and a wonderful way to end a meal. It is definitely worth the trip!

I ate the squid ink pasta and loved every bite! My friends and I picked this restaurant for a fun girls night and appreciated that the menu was moderately priced. We had delicious cocktails and appetizers as well. Such a fun, classy atmosphere as well.

My boyfriend and I had visited St.Cecilia in September 2017 when we escaped from Hurricane Irma in Miami. This restaurant was recommended by a friend. In September, we were told their blank ink pasta and chicken dish were the best. We ordered them, and our friend was absolutely right! We visited Atlanta this March again to celebrate a birthday and Easter. We went to St.Cecilia for two dinners and Easter brunch. Their brunch buffet is a big spread across their restaurant. Nice to look a and also the food was great. Again, their food did not disappoint. Their service was also impeccable as we remembered.

This place is very cool. Beautiful atmosphere and beautiful food. I was thrilled they offered vegetarian options. Our waitress was wonderful and the bread is heavenly. Unfortunately, we missed Scarlet Johansson by about 45 minutes. Food is fantastic. Desserts are "eh". Will definitely go back soon!

We went here for a pre-Valentine's dinner. And, we were not disappointed. The ambiance is great. It's an upscale restaurant with modern decor. Although we had reservations, we did have a short wait before our table was ready. Once we were seated, the waitress was completely attentive to our requests. My spouse and I were very impressed with our food and our cocktails. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasteful. We will definitely return.

Dropped in a little late for dinner last week and found excellent pasta and a pretty good wine list. The bread service is unusually good. We will be back again.

From the minute I walked in the door the experience was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive to the right degree, and explained the lunch menu giving his recommendations which I followed. The swordfish was outstanding with the tomato sauce sprinkled liberally with the best olives. I highly suggest having a nice lunch with someone you enjoy sharing time with over a terrific meal

I definitely do not understand the hype of this place. We came for brunch and each had one entree, a couple of nibbles from the buffet and a cocktail and after tax and tip our bill was over $50 a person. The food was fine, nothing to write home about and nothing that would draw me back. Whoever curates this restaurant's Instagram is a genius. The photos are always gorgeous, but stepping inside I wasn't all that impressed. Were we in an office building, a hotel, an apartment? I couldn't tell. Anyways, we had a reservation and ended up waiting like 15 minutes despite the restaurant being half empty, so we didn't start on a great note either. Maybe dinner is better, but skip this for brunch.

Went with another couple and, frankly, I was wowed. Our friends had been there for a lunch and enjoyed it. The large charcuterie was a great 4 person share. Drinks were creative and very good. For mains we had the Bolognese, 2 different fresh fish and the Cacio e Pepe. All were really amazing. The halibut might be the best ever tried. This was an exceptional meal; the service was close to the best ever, food totally memorable, and atmosphere terrific. Great value. Definitely a return visit. Totally worth a try. I’m a fan!

The food was great and the service excellent BUT, the management was extremely unreasonable. I have dietary restrictions that the restaurant was willing to work around and deliver an excellent meal. I had fish over pasta, something not on the menu, but customized. The waitress never told me that they were going to charge me for two dinners to work within my restrictions. They charged $42 for the fish and $26 for the pasta so the one plate of food I had was $68 which in my mind is outrageous. I discovered this when the check came and asked about it. She sent the manager over who said everything is a la carte and there’s nothing he can do. We eat at fine dining establishments frequently, but won’t go back to a place where we were taken advantage of. After all the good food, I left with a bad taste in my mouth.

Absolutely fabulous dinner, beginning with the to die for focaccia, burrata and olive oil. 3 of us had the grilled fresh fish and the other had ravioli. This was the best meal I have had in a long while! Would recommend 100% and plan to return again on my next visit to Atlanta

This was supposed to be a surprise party - but went south when the birthday girl saw us hiding in the upstairs! The host/hostess were in on the surprise and it seemed the entire staff was in on it. The service was outstanding. The menu had a wide array of entrees - many of which we were suddenly introduced to. Quality was excellent - but the portions were small and a little out range for most middle-class folks. Not a place for quantity eaters who need to go home stuffed. Nevertheless, St Cecilia's is the place to go. It is a lively area of Buckhead in a beautiful floor to ceiling glass restaurant - in itself a site to see. Will I return? Undoubtedly.

The food was excellent: I've not had better squid ink pasta, the wine was reasonably priced for a restaurant, and the dessert was excellent. The wait-person (Trene?) put the experience over the top: she knew everything there was to know about the menu, and she was so friendly and engaging that we nearly invited her to join the table!

On a business trip. I was looking for a non chain restaurant, buckhead area, good food and atmosphere. Sat at the bar, greeted immediately, Corey the bartender explained the cocktails and then made the perfect one I chose. I could tell right away, by the attention as I walked in and the level of precision and detail to the cocktail this was going to be a good experience. Corey then explained, in full detail, the entire menu, and what’s a staple and what’s new and different. Had the Cobia tartare (best I’ve ever had), the grilled octopus, and the Lumache. All in all, an unbelievable culinary experience. Teriffic staff and food. Thanks for a great evening.

I was staying at the JW Marriott and my colleague and I were looking for Italian food. The concierge recommended this restaurant which was also highly regarded on TA. It was a 10 minute walk or about 3 blocks from the hotel. It was a Monday night and we didn't need reservations. The interior decor and ascetics with high ceilings and wine bottles strategically placed. Our waiter Nicki was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and very professional and courteous. We started with a shared plate of pasta, and pear ravioli which was delicious. My colleague had the salmon and I had a seafood stew with sausage. We also shared two delicious side dishes, potatoes and Brussels sprouts, both were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant the next time you are nearby.

Valet parking, warm welcome - steps down to the bar and restaurant. We walked past the open kitchen and the wood fired grill looked appealing! We took some expensive wines and paid $20 corkage - the service was great and unassuming. Nice buzz to the place. The octopus was best I’ve eaten, and cold cuts and cheese and warm focaccia style bread was all excellent. Soup was wonderful, and entrees were good although a little pricey at $33-$38 with another $9 for side of potatoes and another $9 for mushrooms (although ample portion for 3-4 people). A port at the end at $15 each made me feel better for taking our own wine (it was a 1983 chateau Lynch bages!) and we left with a bill for $301 plus tip for the 4 of us.

It was time for us to go insider the loop, so we met in Buckhead. The restaurant is conveniently located near the malls, and GA 400. The Valet Parking was convenient. We were early for our reservation, so we ordered drinks at the bar where service was quick, and the servers were friendly. The well made cocktails were reasonably priced. The sound level at the bar and at our table by the window was good. We had no problem with conversation and enjoyed the subtle background music. Nice menu. We were told parts of it change daily. Our entrees ranged from $29 to $39 which we felt was reasonable for the area, food quality, and presentation. I especially liked my Short Rib Agnolotti, and my wife loved the Swordfish. We split the octopus, and the other couple split the mozzarella salad as starters. The size of both was fine for sharing. They offer nice selection of wines by the glass. Their wine list has a very good selection of European and US wines. We were impressed by the Italian selections, both red and white. We brought a bottle of wine, and the $20 corkage fee was fine. We had great service from Allison and a few others. We were quickly served the Rosemary Focaccia with whipped ricotta. The other courses were well paced. Overall, it was a very good experience

I have been to this restaurant a few times for lunch but decided to go for dinner with a colleague. The atmosphere was much more enjoyable and the service was excellent. We had some exceptional meals. The Burrata was enjoyable and the Bucatini was out of this world. I could have had seconds.

An absolutely gorgeous restaurant for couples or group dining. Food, wine, service and atmosphere still excel. Always interesting menu with good focus on seafood dishes. My goto place when I visit Atlanta each year.

On a recent business trip to Atlanta I had the pleasure of dining at St Cecilia with a business associate. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and the food was fantastic. We started out with a dozen chilled oysters, very fresh and tasty. For our meal my associate had the open faced lobster & shrimp sandwich, it looked great. I had their seafood special of the day which was a wood smoked salmon over faro and baby carrots. And the shared side of roasted cauliflower complemented everything nicely. The restaurant has a very open feel with glass exterior walls floor to ceiling. I would love to try their dinner menu next time I am in town.

I have been to St. Cecilia a couple of times for both lunch and dinner. I go here because it is convenient, has valet parking and a fantastic layout. I go here because while the food won't win any prizes, it is always good and always imaginative. I go here because it has an impressive layout that is both modern and totally energized. The entrance has a certain wow factor to it. I go here because the service is always great. I go here because the bar is absolutely inviting for both a drink before or after the meal, or both. The wine menu is unique. The beer selection is appropriate (they have Tropicalia if your looking for it). The bartenders are friendly and can make you any kind of drink you want. St. Cecilia is more toward the expensive side. But if you are looking for the service they provide and high quality of everything ese, you should expect it too be.

Food was expertly prepared and had a cool atmosphere. Was here with a large group (12) so that could have impacted my experience. The only negative I truly had was the smell was a bit overpowering. So much that after leaving I smelled like the restaurant for hours.

We went there Saturday night for dinner. First off there wasn't much I wanted on the menu, so I settled for salmon and pureed potatoes. I asked for the salmon medium rare. My salmon came well done and they hardly gave me any pureed potatoes. It was very disappointing. I told the waiter to let the kitchen know my fish was way over cooked from what I ordered. The waiter never offered a complimentary dessert or something. I think they should have made some type of gesture. I think for what I had it was nothing special, over priced. I would rather go to the Fish Market instead. My boyfriend said his branzino was nothing special. We will not be going back to this restaurant.

Unremarkable. Establishment seems to attract a millennial crowd. The ambiance is awake and loud. Our pasta dishes were served cold and clumped together more like a paste. Good bar. Good appetizers. Good first stop, then move on for a more dinning centric experience

I was staying in Atlanta for business and was given the name of St. Ceclia as a place for dinner by the hotel. Upon entering, on a Tuesday evening, I knew we were in the right spot. The restaurant was super busy, with parties coming in and out. We were thankfully able to get a table facing the kitchen, which was an amazing spot to get a feel for the restaurant, and get an opportunity to watch the kitchen in action. Our server was amazing; she was knowledgeable, sweet and knew the menu inside and out. We started with the meat and cheese board, which I could have eaten as my meal, and went on to risotto and short ribs stuffed inside a ravioli. The night ended with two amazing desserts. The three of us truly enjoyed our evening and have recommended St. Cecilia to anyone traveling to Atlanta. This will sure to be a place to return my next time down South!

Had very pleasant dinner last night. It has certainly improved from my last visit here a few years ago. The menu is creative and they have a good selection of Bourbon and Rye. Our server was excellent, Mariel I think was her name. The pasta was great. Would definitely go back

We had the most amazing dinner here. I was with my daughter who had flown in from St Croix for a wedding and my stepson and his fiancée who live in Atlanta. We essentially tasted our way through the appetizer and pasta portions of the menu. Favorites included the oysters, beet and peach salad and the pea pasta. To be fair though each of us had our favs and there was not a single dish that disappointed. The setting is beautiful as well and the service impeccable. They truly did not disappoint. It was the best mean in a series of really good meals in Atlanta.

Great atmosphere, excellent service and food. Nice location, very good valet service. A little noisy.

Anniversary dinner and St Cecilia was amazing...Love the space, the menu, the service and the extra steps they took to make our day outstanding... We picked out cocktails, an appetizer that was amazing, entrees that were delicious, side order of delicious sweet potatoes, and an amazing dessert and a complimentary lemoncello ...Portions were good. I see why most people like this restaurant. They were quite busy and it was early in the evening. It is definitely worth it if you like fine dining at its best. Patio is ready to use in warmer weather. Thank you!

St Cecilia is a great restaurant in the heart of Buckhead, Atlanta. Their menu changes daily and never disappoints. Fine dining at its best! Reservations in advance are a must. It can get very crowded and loud on weekend but the atmosphere and service is tops. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Walking distance from many hotels in Buckhead, this Italian seafood restaurant is a very good choice. Since we had not booked, the reception desk was very supportive in finding us a table. Relaxing atmosphere with good service that is present and cares, very good food, long list of wines. I tried Roasted Branzino and sweet cream pana cotta with pink macarons, which were delicious. The prices were at high level.

Loved everything about my visit here. The décor, atmosphere, service and food were top notch. The food is fresh and the pasta is delicious. I would find it hard to believe this getting anything, but a favorable review. The sous chef, Chris visited our table and our server, Melanie was great.

Awesome service. Awesome food. Awesome wine selection. Awesome dessert. We love this place. Who cares about the price when the food and service are this good. This one is a special occasion go to for us!

We come here regularly and often recommend St. Cecilias to others. Last night we brought friends from out of town for dinner. We ordered cocktails, a bottle of wine, apps and entrees. The food was fantastic but our service was not. The first bottle of wine we requested was out of stock. No problem. We ordered a second bottle. When the bottle was brought to our table, it was different from what we ordered. At that point, the server explained that the second bottle we ordered was also out of stock. She tried to conceal the fact that she brought us a different bottle, and was not forthcoming. The interaction reeks of dishonesty and definitely rubbed us the wrong way. Also, our server never once asked us if we'd like additional drinks. We would have absolutely ordered a second bottle, but she was not very present and did not ever ask how we were doing.

As a creative professional, I'm a big fan of Ford Fry's concepts, which often invest as much in the environment as the cuisine: at Beetlecat, a breezy Inman Park oyster bar that flies in crudo daily on the red eye, Hobie racing sails adorn the ceiling and Gilligan's Island is pumped into the head; in West Midtown (formerly Abattoir), Fry celebrates French pugilist, Marcel Cerdan, with knives-out aged beef and Caesar prepared tableside in dark leather booths under a menacing wall of fencing masks and boxing gloves. Other Fry restaurants are lavish, without a strong motif: situated on an historic rail line, the perennial favorite JCT Kitchen has no HO-scale train steaming around the dining room; Buckhead's King & Duke and Krog Market's Superica are each devoid of the Wes Anderson mise en scene. St Cecelia falls into this latter category: it is certainly palatial, with broad glass windows that rise 30' to the ceiling in a cavernous dining room that muffled the conversations of a hundred rosy guests last Friday night, but there was no evidence that St. Cecelia---the patroness of musicians---was extended to the decor or cuisine...or the music, for that matter. Italian tenors might seem perfect for a concept featuring Mediterranean coastal fare, but Mario Lanza would likely fall on deaf ears with this lovely and youthful financial district crowd. My wife and I started with the Cobia tartare, which was fresh and interesting, but oddly plated with crispy Spanish chips huddled protectively around a hidden heaping tablespoon of cubed Cobia resting on a camouflaged lemon puree. My kale and chicory salad (I'm a lush for anchovy dressing) was appealing but couldn't compare to my wife's asparagus soup, which---when you consider the work that must go into scraping asparagus leaves until you yield half a cup of meat---tastes like cream of unicorns in pink moonlight. There's no way you're making that yourself at home, you know? Choosing between fish (sea bass, halibut or monkfish) and pasta (housemade daily) was tough, but having been to the Optimist and Beetlecat that week, we opted for the pasta. The watercress tortellini (with spring peas, basil and green garlic) were delicate pillows of lump crab that slid around the fork, struggling to escape, before juicily popping on the tongue. The squid ink spaghettini (with roasted calamari, calabrian chilies and basil pesto) was just as spicy as our server warned us. The service was exceptional, as it (almost) always is at Fry's restaurants: sincerely warm, alert and efficient, knowledgable. (Even after dozens of lunches at the Optimist, I'm always greeted as if for the first time by a staff eager to share something they're very fond of.) St Cecelia was no different: a friendly hostess stand, who greeted us immediately and seated us promptly; an immediate water service; and a prompt initial visit by an experienced server who was probably juggling a dozen things at once but never seemed busy at all with the world outside of our table. How you get service consistently superb at almost a dozen restaurants is beyond me. Doing it well most of the time in one place is a miracle.

My wife and I were visiting our oldest daughter who lives in Midtown and she suggested we try St. Cecilia. We have dined at some of the finest restaurants around the US and hands down this was our favorite Italian food. The Cobia Tartare appetizer and Beef Short rib stuffed pasta entree were incredible! Yes they have an extensive wine list, and the food is pricey, but well worth every penny!

Quick, make reservations to eat at this great Italian restaurant! Fantastic beginning with the ambiance, to the service and food! Probably the best focaccia anywhere topped with just the right amount of EVOO and salt. The pastas are house made and served in large portions with flavorful toppings. The wine and spirit list in interesting and well-priced. I am often disappointed when a great meal is followed by mediocre coffee-not so here. The Atlanta -based roaster makes for a good cup of joe. Wish I had room for dessert-next visit! This is definitely our new favorite in Atlanta.

I had walked past this restaurant several times during my stays in ATL but always thought it was a little up market for dinner for one! But I saw there was a bar I could sit at so I went it. I’m so glad I did because it was a fantastic experience, the food was excellent, atmosphere brilliant and the service some of the best I have had in ATL. I had the Cobia fish for starter which very tasty, it was recommended by the bar man, who was brilliant, I wish I remembered his name. For main I had the Wood Grilled Coulotte steak, cooked to perfection!! Would definitely recommend this restaurant, I will be going again next week!

Pros: Crisp, white decor with lots of windows and natural light. Great buckhead location The cacio e Pepe is a must!! Friendly staff The pineapple dessert was delicious! Vegetarian friendly

Everything about my experience was top notch. The ambiance was pleasant with the floor to ceiling windows and while I was here solo, I would've loved to have been able to bring my wife here on a date. Service was impeccable and personalized. My waitress knew the menu intimately and made fabulous recommendations. The food was something else. A lot of people have reviewed about the bread and it truly is noteworthy. Crispy, golden brown crust with a fluffy inside. The ricotta dip was rich and flavorful. The rucola salad was large, enough for 2. It had the right balance of acid and sweet. The strawberries were so ripe and made the salad pop. The arancini was savory and salty but not too much. A good hearty app. Finally the cacio E pepe was simple but elegant. I appreciated the large portion size, and had to take some to go. I've had good food all over but my meal here was awesome. I'm hoping work sends me back to the area so I can have another try at some of the other things on the menu. Oh, and to have that delicious bread one more time!

Found this on yelp while on a business trip and checked it out for dinner. Nice vibe at bar and great service. Opted for hamachi which was superb and then the black squid pasta (small portion) which was just OK. Closed with raw oysters which were yummy. Was staying at the Ritz Buckhead which is literally across the street and within perfect walking distance for a solo traveler!

I actually dined with my husband at the bar at St. Cecelia which is a very large, oval, white marble bar - the restaurant has very high ceilings and huge windows - it is a beautiful setting for cocktails. We opted to also have dinner at the bar. I had a roasted lobster and claim dish with fish served in a slightly, spicy tomato broth with homemade grilled bread - the dish was very light and very fresh. My husband had a filled pasta with ricotta and spinach in a brown butter sage sauce. The ambiance was great; service excellent, and food memorable with a very good wine list. I look forward to returning soon!

First time here. All I can say is OMG. I've lived here in Atlanta for three years & disappointed I didn't find this place sooner. Seafood at the best with over the top staff. GREAT bar & drinks. I will return.

We've been going here for years, based on the recommendation of an award-winning chef (See 29 South, Fernadina Beach, FL). Never fails to disappoint--from the crudo and personalized cocktails, inventive "salads," through to primi and secundi. Yes, ALL their pastas come in gluten-free versions that are homemade from scratch! We had the spagetti and the salmon with smashed potatoes and then budino with complimentary glasses of porto. Service was amazing--Logan was great, thanks! Can't wait to come back!

St Cecilia Restaurant in Buckhead for the win. Beautiful decorum, atmosphere, and food. What a lovely restaurant for all occasions. The wait staff and management team was attentive.

I love walking into a busy restaurant swarming with cheery diners and galloping servers. I get a rush of liveliness when I hear that loud kaleidoscope of sounds culminating from the laughter and chatter of a spirited and upbeat crowd. Oh, and those clicking sounds of cutlery on china in the the background of all that, resonates like Louis Hayes improvised percussions. That's my take on the atmosphere at St.Cecilia and some. We were pleasantly surprised to see how busy the place was on a Wednesday. I also like restaurants who have the confidence to project a full view of the kitchen. the scene there reminded me of one of those Iron Chef TV shows with chefs and sous-chefs along with a dozen kitchen porters scurrying about like penguins on the last day of mating season. Our server was pleasant and patient, a relief, since my company was a little indecisive. The food was enjoyable, but could withstand a little more bliss and a little more seductive optics perhaps. Maybe I am a little harsh given that I had the the opportunity to experienced the food across the mediterranean coast from St. Remo to Marbella. However, we are in Atlanta, and the nearest ocean is six hours away, so I am so glad to have an existing restaurant like St. Cecilia in our great city.
Great date night!
Amazing food with great detail. Server had expert knowledge of the menu. Will definitely return next time I visit the Atlanta area!
