Celebrate night

By Greenjeanpa9 |

I found the place too dark and loud. I just assume they didn’t have a separate place for fine dining so everyone was crowded around the bar area. They had a mass number of people to serve you available. I guest that accounted for the high price of everything. I found the extra service items on my bill a little Anointing with no explanation. Other then all of these items. The food preparation was very good and exciting. Now will I go back probably but only for really special occasions. I don’t know how long they will last during these days but I still wish them luck.

One of the best

By Ryan S |

I've been to a lot of steakhouses in my life in many different cities across the world. Steak 48 is in my top five easily. While a true steakhouse does focus on the quality and selection of its steaks, it should also remember to have excellent appetizers sides and desserts. Most fail at the latter. Steak 48 did not. My 45-day dry-aged rib eye was cooked perfectly and tasted like a 45-day dry age. Some would hypothesize that some steakhouses advertise a dry age but actually serve a wet age or a fresh cut steak. The steakhouse absolutely is serving real deal 45 day dry age prime cut ribeye. And the sides, appetizers and desserts are equally delicious. Beyond the food quality, the service was impeccable. I struggle to remember a time where better service was offered in every facet.

Great food, great vibe

By ydeia b |

I have been 3 times since 2/10 & I receive a 5 star treatment every time. The staff is amazing. Food it great. My favs are the fried lobster, cream corn. Drinks are good & strong. Vibe is amazing. You feel welcomed from the doorman-the bus boy.

Philly steak house

By Carmellatte |

Went here for a friends birthday. If you let them know, it’s your birthday they give you complementary dessert and a card wishing you a happy birthday. We had reservations at 4:50 but arrive at four and they were able to seat us early. FYI request booth where you can see in the kitchen. Our wait person Shannon was great. We ordered a bottle of Caymus, which is always a good start to dinner. The bread looks better than it taste it’s ok. We had the raw oysters west and East Coast. Both were good, but we like the East Coast better. The branzino was good. Could’ve been season a little better. I should’ve requested to have it blackened. the guys ordered lamb chops, which they said were very good. For our sides we had the brussels sprouts and baked potato stuff with mashed potatoes which were both excellent. for dessert we had the ultimate warm vanilla cake which was good.

A True Experience.

By JnSnMnC |

I have been here on 2 occasions & both times were amazing. If I had the money & lived in the area, they’d see me multiple times a week. Was there with my wife & friend for a birthday dinner. They made the experience special but not overwhelming. We had this great table which was up against glass that gave us a perfect view of the impressive kitchen. Their BLT wedge + 45 Day Dry Aged ribeye was a perfect combination. We also tried the Boursin Cheese Whipped potatoes & Sautéed Sweet Corn. In both experiences they gave us complimentary beignets along with our delicious desert. Service & food are exceptional, although you would expect each from a steakhouse of this caliber, they exceed the expectations & value.

Best Graduation, or any celebration, Dinner!

By missdebbie2013 |

Of all the celebrations at other restaurants. this was by far the best. The manager Chris was extraordinary. He greeted us when we arrived and finding out it was a graduation celebration, Chris continued to come by and check on us throughout our dining experience. He introduced us to our waiter, Cing, who was just as awesome. Our dining experience was made further impressive by the variety of the most delectible food, wine, spirits and deserts you will find in a steakhouse. We thank all of you, expecially Chris for making this graduation dinner a memorable success!

Big Disappointing Valentine's Dinner

By Carole G |

The restaurant was beautiful, the food was delicious and our server Katarina was superb....but where they sat us was UNACCEPTABLE!!! When I am paying nearly $500 for a dinner for 2 I expect to be seated comfortably and be able to converse with my date. Upstairs there is a row of tables for 2 with maybe 12 inches in between each table. Where do you think they sat us!!! And guess what, there were empty tables EVERYWHERE. You could not converse with your date and you had a hard time hearing your server because all you could hear is everyone elses conversation. It was absolutely ridiculous. If you still want to go there, tell them to NOT sit you at a table for 2. Steak 48 should be ashame of how they seat their customers. Even if the restaurant was busy, having you sit that close to someone is still not acceptable. My first thought was OMG, the tables are like The Cheesecake Factory. So what does that say? Sorry for the negative review, but it has to be said.

Not a good start to our Anniversary

By Shemesha B |

Terrible start to celebrating our anniversary! We were placed at a table near a heavy traffic area. The weight staff constantly bumped against our table and the noise level was so loud that we could barely hear ourselves speak. The food was salty and the drinks were not good. We had to send both food and drinks back. Not to mention the service… our waitress left for long periods of time and I guess that’s OK considering the gratuity is already included. Our overall experience was not good and we will not be returning. Thumbs down!!!

Business Dinner

By RDCononver |

We took an important client / business partner to Steak 48 for the steaks and the wine list and a smaller chain (restaurants located in several cities). Arrivals went well, we were a a few minutes early, but were seated promptly (2 or 3 minutes waiting), team was ready for us with us with menus, water, etc. From there on the service team was super attentive and attentive should we have a need (e.g., another bottle of wine), great feedback on menus items, number of aiders, etc. We started with appetizers including mixed seafood (the shrill followed by the crab were my favorites) and the bacon which we followed by salads. I got the super salad which was great. For my main I got a filet, the 12 was too large and venter while warm was too rare for me, but prepared as per the order. Sides included au graten potato, sprouts, and asparagus. Desert was a tree of donuts. Wine list was amazing, great choices. Very please with the service, atmosphere, ability to communicate (not too loud), and overall setting. Great Mia of clientele as to one side we’re a group of friends on a girls night out, there was a family and later several pro football players. Great food and service was worth every penny spent.

Beware! Negligence that resulted in medical burns!

By C H |

Steak 48 Philadelphia. Went for our 10th anniversary with our 9 year old daughter. Have lots of family and friends in Philly and Jersey. This place was nice until they brought a 500 degree plate with our steak and our server reached over the table and almost placed it in my wife’s lap. I grabbed it to catch it from going over the ledge and it burnt 3 of my fingers badly. Another server offered burn cream later in the night when he realized I kept complaining about the burns. No incident report but we took many pictures of everyone and everything. We were off to further celebrate in Cape Cod and I was not able to get into the water (ocean) due to the burns and bacteria. Literally had to deal with bad burns for the rest of my trip which was extremely an inconvenience and ruined the quality of my trip. Lower management got involved only when we complained to the person who calls and follows up asking about our dining experience. We sent pictures to him and he acknowledged our trouble and inconvenience for the rest of our trip but he would have to get with his “supervisor”. Their response was to give us a future gift card after we relied upon them to do the right thing. This is not good customer service. They freely admit they serve 500 degree plates and they rely on their staff to “warn” people which does not happen. Their negligence is astounding! We gave them every opportunity to credit our meal and make it right but they simply did not. We’ve heard they are struggling in Philadelphia and this is probably why they cannot even credit a meal which turned out being almost $500 for a party of 3. Food was subpar with no offer to make things right. Not high level as we would expect and receive from other comparable restaurants. Could you imagine if my 9 year grabbed her plate and then dropped it in her lap?? Not acceptable EVER Steak 48. They know we are out of town and think we are limited in what we can do. Not the case here…we will be disputing the charges and also filing a small claims negligence suit against them asking for the max limits of $12,000 plus cost and fees. Every person we know in Philly and surrounding areas will get an email, text or call from us too telling them to avoid Steak 48. In today’s climate…we all should be mindful where we spend our dollars.

Go, you won't be sorry

Food delicious, server and waitress professional and a credit to this restaurant. Loved everything about this place, so so delicious. Will return.

One of our favorites

By Adam M |

We HAVE to go to Steak 48 everytime we visit the city. It is one of our favorites. The drinks are excellent and strong. Service is always impeccable. Last night we had Tyler, who was fantastic. Food is almost always on point (we didn't care for the Brussel sprouts on a previous visit). Steaks are always cooked perfectly. And the ambience inside is very elegant. We absolutely love to get a table beside the kitchen. Bravo Steak 48 for being one of the best! We'll be back next month when we are in the city.

Great Food in a Different Setting

By ajs6890 |

Steak 48 in Philadelphia is a reliable choice for high-end steak and other hearty dishes. Having been to other Steak 48s, this setting felt more subdued than most, which was nice. The menu js expansive and the food is quality. Though not cheap, Steak 48 in Philly is a steakhouse that is worth the splurge.

Where do I begin; positive

By LBW |

Where do I Begin. From the moment we entered we knew this was first class all the way. And we were right. They still have a coat check LOL. Love it. Chloey, Nick the rest of the team worked as a team, and were fabulous. The bartenders got my grapefruit gimlet perfect our wine was perfect. Love the extensive wine list. Love the knowledgeable staff the professionalism and The attention to details. This is a must to stop for anyone who knows their food wine and demands excellence. My Colorado rack of lamb was superb so was the bone in Berkshire pork chop. Caesar salad was excellent wish I had room for the Wague tuna tartare... very lovely enticing menu

EXCELLENT!!!

By Liz |

We came here on Thursday night for the first time. First time in Philly. We started with a dozen oysters. Delicious!! My boyfriend ordered a steak ($90) I ordered the scallops. We split the gratin as a side. Everything was EXCELLENT! Our waitress was EXCELLENT. Extremely knowledgeable. One of the best steak houses we have been to. Definitely will be returning on our next trip to Philly

Poor food service

By Benjamin H |

The experience was not good.. cold food all around.. for the price wasn't worth price paid!! Had to send most of our entrées back to be warm.. only the ambiance was up too par.. I wouldn't recommend

Profiled and rushed

By anyela s |

This was supposed to be a fun girl’s night to celebrate a friend’s birthday and to have a good time without our small children. Upon arrival to the waiting area I was highly confused as servers were asking guest to move to go so that they can walk by with very hot food. Once we got a table I was even more confused as the assistant server was making a very big effort to speak Spanish to our group (we all speak English) despite me speaking to him in English he continued to make an effort (his Spanish was not good, I barely picked up a few words.) I did not see the need for him to speak to us in Spanish, I was offended. I was nice because I know he was told to do this. He was so nervous that he accidently poured an entire liter of water on me. I was freezing. No one apologized for this. Management never came over to our table to say anything despite seen the entire fiasco take place. I was not even offered a new chair, so I sat on a semi wet chair. The server used my napkin to attempt to dry my chair after seen me standing for 4 minutes. I told the server I was cold and she brought me a scarf/blanket (a nice gesture.) The floor supervisor or manager never moved from behind my friend, he crossed his arms and looked at me straight in the eye all night long. I felt super uncomfortable. I felt rushed as the server continuously asked if we were ready to order when we were obviously chatting and having a good time. To put the cherry on the cake we tried to take photos on the opposite side of the restaurant on the stairs, however management spoke to us as if we were in the streets of north Philly; he loudly and in an aggressive tone told us “yo, yo, yo cut it out 4 pictures only.” I was mind blown. For $959.00 for 5 people I expect more of an establishment. I will not return, I will not recommend this restaurant and I will share my poor experience with whoever asks me about Steak 58. Our girl’s night was ruined completely.

Always a great dining experience because of Angel!!!

By Nhu Le |

I’ve been here on multiple occasions with my friends and I have to emphasize that my dining experience is always pleasant and amazing due to a worker named Angel. He is very polite, pleasant, kind, attentive, and welcoming. I will always come back because of him!

Excellent again!

By Adam M |

Love coming to Steak 48 to celebrate special occasions. My wife and I are multiple repeat patrons. Food is always excellent and the service is stellar. Yes, it is pricey but it is worth it. Steaks are always cooked perfectly, most of the sides are also great. Although we did not care for the Brussel sprouts we had during a previous visit, everything else we've had has been excellent. The drinks are also quite good, the martini's are very good and strong. Matthew was a fantastic waiter, very personable and fun. Thanks for another great celebration dinner.

Absolutely Amazing

By Adam M |

Wow. I am a foodie through and through. I am not easily impressed and I don't gush often. Steak 48 had me doing both. I was thoroughly impressed and I will be talking about this place for a long time. First off I need to acknowledge our server, Jordan. He was fantastic and really helped to make our whole experience even better. I also need to mention Marvin, as well. Now onto the dinner. Appetizers were delicious, wedge salad, heirloom tomato salad, and pork belly. Steaks were perfectly cooked, my wife and I both love a good medium-rare. Our filets were spot on. The whipped potatoes were the smoothest I have ever had, they were like a bowl of Barry White. The only, ONLY flaw in the evening were the roasted Brussel sprouts. There was not much of a seasoning or sautéed in any sauce. So they were a little bland. The bacon is what saved it from being a complete loss. But even then, the bacon was a bit salty. Dessert was the caramel cake and it was fantastic. The cocktails were sublime. I had two martini's. They have more liquor than most martini's, so they are plentiful and good and strong. Everyone we encountered wished us a happy anniversary, even as we left. The card was a nice touch. I can say with resounding confidence, we WILL definitely be back. The general manager/owner should be quite proud. It ran like clockwork. We were both throughly impressed. There is a new king of steakhouses in Philadelphia, and it is Steak 48.

Delicious first visit

By SubtleSandy |

Steak 48 was outstanding!!! Everything about our time at Steak 48 was perfect. Service and food were excellent. It was the best meal we have had in a minute. Both enjoyed our drinks but the food was top notch. Started out with oysters- fresh and sweet. Also tried the chicken fried lobster tails. It’s exactly what it sounds like; 3 tails fried with Old Bay seasoning. So. Good. We had crab cakes, 2 5oz cakes, the 8oz filet, the cream brûlée corn and a daily special of crab mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious. I’ve never had anything like the corn side before and I think I would go to the bar and order and eat just that! Truly amazing. I wish I had better words to describe how wonderful the meal! Steak 48 is pricey but I honestly think it’s worth it!! It is worth multiple return visits!

Too expensive for quality of food served

By SO194 |

Went here with business colleagues as we heard the place was great. The ambience was very good but to not have grass fed beef or wild fish on the menu we were certainly disappointed. Also for a shot of Casamigos Reposado it was $26 each which was way overpriced-when most restaurants will serve it for $18 tops. The 3 sides were of good value and for a party of 5 we could all split them to get a taste of each. Overall, I found the prices not warranted for corn fed meat. If the meat was raised sustainably and grass fed I would have given them a better rating but in todays world I would have expected better quality for the kind of prices we paid. We didn’t order the Wagu steak as it was MP and an 8oz filet was already $59 and 12oz was $72. We will not be back as it was too expensive and didn’t have the quality we were looking for.

Wow, the best - Steak 48 nailed great service, food and dining ambiance.

By Ricky L |

We had an awesome experience. It’s rare to hit the trifecta: good food, service and ambiance. Our server, Jordan, was a real professional who made dinner an absolute pleasure. Jordan was engaging and made it look easy to coordinate a perfect meal. My wife and I each had a bone in filet that was cooked to perfection. Our friends also had steaks that they loved. The cocktails were well made quality pours. The restaurant blew away its competition against the other Philly steakhouses.

Horrible staff we walked out

By Jay F |

We love visiting philly and enjoying their fabulous restaurants....last night we visited Steak 48..... beautiful restaurant....great tables and decor ....the staff horrible.....we we asked upon arrival if we wanted a quiet cozy table on the second floor we agreed......upon arrival to our table we ask to be pleased be seat at another table....this table was located in a narrow walkway between the bar and a wall.....the bar patrons were loud ......the speaker for the music right above our head and also very loud..... good for some.....we were looking for a little more intimate......we asked for another table.....and were told this is the one we reserved.....as we left and passed many open tables not one host tried to offer another table......they let a $500.check walk out the door.....we left and called Butcher and Singer steakhouse and were promptly seated....great steakhouse highly recommend......we also frequent Barclay Prime...... Capital Grill....Del Frisco's and during this new years we ate at Urban Farmer in The Hogan.hotel.....qll great places for steak.....please stay away from Steak 48.......they might have great food but dining out is the total experience.....from deco to host to servers........this establishment is lack c'mon sense and business manners... Pass on it

Best Meal and service

By Martin J S |

My wife and I had dinner to celebrate our 51st wedding anniversary. I have NEVER had better service, met nicer people and our server Averington was phenomenal.! Our food was prepared to perfection all came out hot and delicious. My wife and I had the opportunity to meet James one the managers. James, took time to inquire about our meal and service he could not have been more personable and genuine. My wife and I are looking forward to enjoying many more meals and special occasions in the future. The attention to detail was the best I have ever had.

Best in Philly

By Angela D |

Had thee BEST dining experience at Steak 48 tonight. I’m so glad we waited until the policy changed to visit, as I was able to get the full experience and dine in peace. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Amazing ambiance, clean, and perfect lighting for the mood. The food was soooooo good. Everything was fresh! Most of the restaurants in the Center City area of Philly sell the same thing and the food is bland, but not this place. The menu had a wide variety of food choices. I rarely ever get dessert when I dine out but let me say I’m glad I decided to get it here. Red Velvet Bread Pudding…OMG can you say perfection!! Everything was perfect but NOTHING & I MEAN NOTHING topped the service. From the moment I got out the car at valet I was impressed. Our waiter Michael was amazing. He was attentive, sweet, & funny. Everything he recommended was great! He made sure to constantly check on us& make sure everything was too our liking. Its hard to find service like what he provided nowadays. I had the opportunity to chat with the head pastry chef Christine. She was the sweetest. We had such a great convo while I waited for my sister to be done in the restroom. She was excited for me to try the desserts because I told her I was a foodie. I loved all 3 of the desserts we tried. I hope she’s there when I return! Cameron was also another waiter who assisted with our table. We loved his personality. Such a sweet guy. Will was the manager who checked on us & made sure we enjoyed our time. Overall, I can truly see why this place is such a hot spot! I rarely come into Center City, but will glady come now just to dine here.

First and Second Time

By Roy D |

My wife and i visited this establishment when it first opened. The service and staff were First class, the food was also exceptional! Fine dining at its best. Jose was our waiter the first and second time we visited. The second time we took our twin 5 year old Girls and they were treated like royalty!

Exceptional service

By ColtsGal76 |

Ate at Steak 48 prior to seeing a show. The service was exceptional. Lamar was our server. He was very friendly and knowledgeable; he made very good menu suggestions. Steaks were cooked perfectly. The corn brûlée and au gratin potatoes were outstanding. We will definitely return (gotta work our way through the long list of side offerings).

Deservedly a top rated restaurant

By Simon A |

A great environment with an excellent menu, and with the amazing product knowledge from our super friendly server Mike, we felt we really got our choices right .The meatballs are a really good size portion for a starter and could easily be shared. The steaks were perfect and the boursin whipped potatoes a great side. Save room for a dessert then caramel butter cake was light , sticky and packed with flavour . Some amazing wines to treat yourself with. Yes it can be expensive but worth every penny and showed some of the best service we have received for a long time .

Never Again!

By Kimberly M |

My first and last time at Steak 48. We made reservations to celebrate a friend's birthday on a Monday evening. We were immediately seated in the lounge/sports bar with the TV on and the noisy bar crowd. I didn't realize until later there was another side to the restaurant that was 80% empty and much brighter, nicer and more suitable for our occasion. Why would we want to sit in a dark, dim lounge and pay the same prices as those in the main dining area.? The lounge was so dark the waitress had to give us a flashlight to see the menu. The food was ok, steak not high-quality, I've had better but the sides were tasty. Also, what was very obvious was that they only seated the minority patrons in the lounge and all of the non-minority patrons were in the main dining area.

Excellent food and service

We had a private room for a business dinner. The service and food were excellent, and the atmosphere was elegant yet casual. A very enjoyable experience overall.

Party of 4 Dinner March 19th.

Enjoyed a phenomenal dinner with friends. Outstanding appetizers. We had the best steak dinners. Most impressive thing was our server "Mark" who made our evening well worth the trip.

Last visit

By Kym H |

Arrived before the rush so it was very quiet. The service was great and I enjoyed the food. However, please note, the restaurant leaders are enforcing a 20% gratuity on all checks. Check your bill so you do not tip twice. I'm floored that I had to pay almost $200 for me to eat there because of that enforcement. I'm not complaining but I should not be penalized for others who do not know how to tip. Additionally, why are the female service, in the cocktail area, the only females wearing shorts/short skirts? If I am paying close to $200 for my meal, I surely do not want to see female servers in this type of clothing. Either you are a fine dining restaurant or a "hooters" knock-off. You pick! However, I hope you pick on the side of not being sexist.

Great Steak House!

By Don L |

We were with 16 friends for a birthday dinner. Bread was wonderful; apps were all very well received - meatballs tasty, blistered shishito peppers were superb, crispy shrimp were very nice, burrata lovely. I had a filet mignon, it was done to perfection and was like cutting butter. Sides of creamed spinach and potatoes were full of flavor. It was a wonderful dinner.

The Best Anniversary Dinner at Steak 48 in Philadelphia

By Kelly |

My husband and I had dinner at Steak 48 in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023 to celebrate our 15th anniversary. It was our first time dining at this restaurant, and it wont be our last. This place is amazing! The food was delicious, and I mean every single bite! I got Pork Belly for an appetizer and the Kansas City Strip Steak with sweet mashed potatoes for the entre. My husband ordered the Crispy Shrimp appetizer and the Filet Mignon and Scallops for his entre. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were delicious. The sweet potatoes were honestly the best i've ever tasted. For drinks, we ordered a Strawberry Rhubarb and a Paloma. But what I appreciated most about this place was the service. Finn, our server and bartender, was the absolute best and made that night even more special for us because he was so attentive and friendly. In fact, all of the staff were extremely friendly and were always checking to make sure we were okay and if we needed anything. To top it off, they gave us a gift for our anniversary and free dessert, the warm vanilla cake with ice cream (which was delicious), I couldn't believe it! Absolutely impeccable service!!! If we had to say anything negative, my husband felt the Paloma was not made with fresh ingredients, probably pre made mixers, and the lighting in the restaurant was a bit dim. However those things will not deter us from dining there again. Thank you so much Steak 48 for making our anniversary dinner so special!

Excellent again!

By Adam M |

Another excellent visit to Steak 48. We always come here for a dinner when visiting the city. My favorite steakhouse in Philly. Steaks are cooked perfectly. The drinks are good and strong. Service has always been very good. Love sitting in the dining room watching the kitchen. Will definitely return.

Their drinks are spectacular

By Bryce S |

We were in Philadelphia to attend an event at the Academy of Music. We wanted to stop for a drink ahead of time and found Steak 48 at the other end of the block. This is a very elegant restaurant. I am guessing it’s an expense account restaurant, but it delivers a great experience. I explained to the staff we were only stopping for one drink and they were ok either way that. We were seated at a table set for dinner. My wife ordered a gin martini. It was made either Plymouth Gin and cane with a clock tail shakes. It was large. The drink included olives stuffed with cream cheese. It was $26. I ordered a glass of Cabernet. I picked an inexpensive one, priced at $13/glass. The portion is about a third of a bottle, probably eight ounces. I took pictures. This was a great experience. We would return.

Perfect service, food and experience.

By Phillymacuser |

I have had the opportunity to visit several times and the food is consistently well prepared with excellent flavor along with quality. The Tomahawk is my “go to” cut for taste, so I have not ventured from that selection. However I have tried adding seafood and a variety of side items. All of which have enhanced the dining experience. Steak 48 will not disappoint, it is a great steak house merged with excellent customer and a modern classic decor.

Lovely evening

By cassidy24 |

Filet mignon was done perfectly and was melt in your mouth. Miles our waiter was chatty, pleasant and informative. Husband enjoyed his scallops and our candied sweet potatoes were delicious.

Great service but...

By J L |

Their service and steak was great. But my Chillean seabass looked and tasted like Cod, and not very well cooked. They did take it off the bill and that's why I am still giving 4 stars. Also, I went through some troble to make a reservation, trying to put my guests together for right timing because OpenTable showed NO availability after 5PM, and only two of us ended up having dinner at 5pm! However, from the time we arrived until we left around 7:00-7:30pm, There were PLENTY of tables available....to a point that separate sections of the restaurant were completely Empty.

Thanks for making our date night special.

By Angelo Q |

Great spot for our anniversary dinner before seeing a show. Staff was great and so was the food. The wagyu was well worth it

Fine dining done right!

By Beachgal724 |

Steak 48 will set a new standard for fine dining in Philadelphia!. Wow! It's hard to know where to even begin. We had the opportunity to eat here last evening as part of their friends and family event before they even open to the public. Everything was amazing, from the minute we pulled up in the car until we walked out the door, every need was anticipated and catered to. The menu was amazing and our server, Samantha, did an excellent job of explaining our options, making all of the right recommendations and providing us with excellent service throughout our dining experience! The food arrived perfectly prepared and was presented beautifully and the portion sizes were more than generous. The entire service team went above and beyond, there to provide excellent service while not being intrusive, their timing was perfect. This was truly a dining experience and so much more than just going out for dinner. Another member of the team who deserves mention is Nicholas who assisted Samantha in bringing our food to us and in clearing away dishes to make room for more! (There were others, unfortunately just don't know all of their names.). Fantastic food served in a beautiful setting with superb service. I could describe each course in detail but I couldn't begin to do it justice, you really need to experience the tastes for yourself!

Great food and atmosphere for a date night or out with some friends.

By Tina B |

We decided to try it after a show and they did not disappoint. It was close to 9:30 and we were nervous because it said they closed at 10 but we were there well after that and never felt rushed out. The BLT wedge salad was among the best I've ever had. The petite filet was perfectly cooked and plated. The atmosphere and service were incredible. I felt like I was at a restaurant out of an episode of Real Housewives.

Mixed experience

By Tool007 |

The prices are sky high and they dont deliver the food quality to justify that. The restaurant itself looks pretty nice. A lot of staff at work. My waiter was Suzanne and she was magic. I ordered from the rawbar stone crab & leg of king crab. But i was served stone crab & lobster. Since i also like lobster i didnt mention this mistake. Stone Crab tasted good, but 46 dollars for 1 claw is stiff. The lobster was pretty dry. For main cource filet mignon with peppercornsauce, baked potatoe & sweet corn. Was not very impressed on the food quality unfortunately. I asked for bernaise sauce, but they didnt have that. Strange in a steakhouse? With 1 glass of champagne & 1 glass pinot noir i ended up with a bill included tips of 330 dollars. Which is way to high for what they serve. Susanne did amazing though, credit to such a quality waiter. The bread they served was very tasty.

Great steakhouse in Phila

Our NEW favorite restaurant

By num1mmfan |

Wow!!! What a fantastic experience! Our meal was phenomenal. A few of us ordered the wagyu steak and we were NOT disappointed … the flavor was out-of-this-world. We also ordered a few jumbo shrimp (they should really be called GINORMOUS!) … they were huge and tasted so good. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service was extraordinary (Michael took care of us). This was a great place to have dinner before seeing a show. We found our NEW favorite place to have dinner. Will definitely be back!!!
